- 2:07Speaker 1: One and only.
- 2:08Speaker 6: Steve Harvey got a radio show, Man one more time.
- 2:12Speaker 6: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, I do, man,
- 2:15Speaker 6: I thank God for it every day. You know, my
- 2:20Speaker 6: message this morning, man, is real clear. It's something that's
- 2:23Speaker 6: been on me to share, and it's it's amazing. You know,
- 2:32Speaker 6: God can do some amazing things for you. But what
- 2:37Speaker 6: happens along the way is and I don't know that
- 2:41Speaker 6: I mean to say, but but the fact that God
- 2:45Speaker 6: can do some amazing things for you, that comes adversity
- 2:49Speaker 6: along with it. Every single time, it just goes without saying.
- 2:59Speaker 6: And I've uh I was having a a faily. I mean, well,
- 3:04Speaker 6: not fairly, but a hugely successful week. I had never
- 3:08Speaker 6: seen this type of hatred before. I hadn't seen it,
- 3:15Speaker 6: and it was It's a great trick that the devil does,
- 3:18Speaker 6: you know, when when God is blessing you and giving
- 3:21Speaker 6: you some some some great opportunities in your life, as
- 3:24Speaker 6: all of you have gone through, and it is. Isn't
- 3:27Speaker 6: it amazing how some negative thing crops up and that's
- 3:31Speaker 6: what you have to focus on. I found out that
- 3:34Speaker 6: I don't have to, but you wind up focusing on it,
- 3:37Speaker 6: and your energy goes over to that to try to
- 3:40Speaker 6: deal with it counteract. Wonder why it was happening. You
- 3:44Speaker 6: got to make phone calls, what was this about? Blah
- 3:46Speaker 6: blah blah blah blah, and and it and it, and
- 3:48Speaker 6: it throws you off the course you are on the
- 3:52Speaker 6: beginning of the week. I was so grateful, I was
- 3:56Speaker 6: so amazed. I was really thanking God for opportunity for
- 3:59Speaker 6: this brief moment. The enemy slides this little factor in
- 4:05Speaker 6: that it causes you and it requires your attention. You
- 4:08Speaker 6: have to pay it attention because you don't know what
- 4:10Speaker 6: you're going. Wow, man, let me see what this could
- 4:13Speaker 6: really be. How much dirt is this really that they're
- 4:17Speaker 6: trying to do? And so it requires your attention, but
- 4:20Speaker 6: in that attention, you lose your focus on really all
- 4:25Speaker 6: the blessings and the good thing that God does for you.
- 4:28Speaker 6: The enemy has an amazing trick that he does that.
- 4:32Speaker 6: And it was in my head. I gotta tell y'all
- 4:35Speaker 6: all week long, man, and I was doing some amazing stuff.
- 4:39Speaker 6: I was having such a blessed week, man, in terms
- 4:42Speaker 6: of press and pr and where God was taking me.
- 4:45Speaker 6: And then when I got back, I was talking with
- 4:49Speaker 6: my wife, and then I was talking to a good
- 4:52Speaker 6: friend of ours and they shared something that really helped
- 4:58Speaker 6: me out. And they said to me, new level, new devil.
- 5:06Speaker 6: You know it's it's it's something really simple, but new
- 5:09Speaker 6: level new devil. Every time you go to another level,
- 5:14Speaker 6: every time you go a little bit higher, every time
- 5:19Speaker 6: God has a blessing in store for you, every time
- 5:22Speaker 6: He moves you in position, do you understand that the
- 5:26Speaker 6: enemy's job is to make you not see the blessing,
- 5:30Speaker 6: make you not be grateful for it, lose your focus
- 5:34Speaker 6: and focus on this that I just threw in your way,
- 5:36Speaker 6: this stumbling block, this obstacle, this trickery.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And man, I was, I was, I got you.
- 5:43Speaker 6: I just got to tell you man, I mean, it
- 5:45Speaker 6: was so filled with hatred that I had to I
- 5:48Speaker 6: really spend some time addressing it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I you know, I got publicists on the phone. I said,
- 5:52Speaker 1: what's what's happening here?
- 5:53Speaker 7: Y'all?
- 5:53Speaker 1: Not watching this? Y'all not?
- 5:55Speaker 8: What was?
- 5:56Speaker 1: What was this attack? You knew that you didn't know
- 5:58Speaker 1: these angles?
- 5:58Speaker 8: What was?
- 5:59Speaker 1: And you know, Steve Chill, new level, new devil.
- 6:05Speaker 6: If you get a promotion on your job, guess what,
- 6:09Speaker 6: somebody ain't happy that you got the promotion.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So here come the hay. You don't even really know
- 6:15Speaker 1: these people. You have no idea.
- 6:18Speaker 6: Every time you make a decision to make your relationship
- 6:22Speaker 6: with your spouse better, man, this is it. You know
- 6:26Speaker 6: what I'm gonna start doing. I'm gonna do this, man,
- 6:27Speaker 6: so me and my girl can go on and have this,
- 6:30Speaker 6: or me and my man can go on and have this.
- 6:32Speaker 6: Watch what happened every single time? Here comes the new level,
- 6:38Speaker 6: the new devil, the trick. You don't need to do that.
- 6:41Speaker 6: What you're doing that for hers? She don't appreciate it.
- 6:43Speaker 6: He ain't gonn appreciate it. Look over here, man, look
- 6:46Speaker 6: at that right there. Ain't he no? You know he
- 6:48Speaker 6: missed he ain't call you, And he said, it's gonna
- 6:51Speaker 6: all types of stuff. It just happens all the time.
- 6:54Speaker 6: And I was sitting here talking with this friend, really
- 6:56Speaker 6: good friend, very spiritual person, and they said, you know something, Steve.
- 7:01Speaker 6: You know, I was talking to Jesus and said I
- 7:03Speaker 6: was having this conversation with Christ. And I said, God,
- 7:07Speaker 6: for real, you mean to tell me every time that
- 7:12Speaker 6: something good happens to me? You mean every time I
- 7:16Speaker 6: try to go to the next level, every time you
- 7:18Speaker 6: put me on the next level.
- 7:20Speaker 1: You mean to tell me that I got to go
- 7:22Speaker 1: through this right here? Are you for real?
- 7:26Speaker 6: And then my friend said, Jesus said to her, they
- 7:30Speaker 6: did it to me, and we just fell out laughing.
- 7:35Speaker 1: They did it to me.
- 7:37Speaker 6: They did it to him. They did it to him
- 7:40Speaker 6: for him to go to the next level. And you know,
- 7:43Speaker 6: I was just I was just going over the whole
- 7:46Speaker 6: story about the crucifixion and everything that had to be
- 7:49Speaker 6: amazing man of all the hate he had endured, all
- 7:52Speaker 6: the prosecuting he had do it. They thought, ultimately, what
- 7:56Speaker 6: we'll do is we'll nail him on a cross in
- 7:59Speaker 6: cruise fine, and that'll be the end of him. And
- 8:02Speaker 6: we'll put him in this tune, and we'll put this
- 8:04Speaker 6: big stone up there and that'll be the end of him.
- 8:07Speaker 6: But what they did not know was all you was
- 8:10Speaker 6: doing was setting the tone for the next level. Because
- 8:13Speaker 6: eventually the stone got rolled away and he went and
- 8:16Speaker 6: got placed with his father where he was headed to. Anyway,
- 8:20Speaker 6: he ultimately knew that his ultimate goal was to get
- 8:25Speaker 6: to his father. So when you when you when you
- 8:30Speaker 6: thought you were doing what you were doing to him,
- 8:34Speaker 6: and you put him in the tune, and you put
- 8:35Speaker 6: the big stone up in there, and the stone got rolls,
- 8:39Speaker 6: got rolled away, and he went eventually to where he
- 8:41Speaker 6: was trying to get to. That story is in place
- 8:47Speaker 6: for all of us to remember that when we are
- 8:51Speaker 6: going through some things. Could it be because we're going
- 8:55Speaker 6: to a place, you know, It could be just a
- 8:57Speaker 6: place in life. It could be just a a different
- 9:01Speaker 6: level in life. That's all it has to be. But
- 9:03Speaker 6: there's going to be the adversarial challenges that come with it,
- 9:09Speaker 6: and those are the moments we must expect, expect and
- 9:13Speaker 6: take them head on and still not lose your focus
- 9:16Speaker 6: or appreciation for what God has done for you. So
- 9:19Speaker 6: in light of all of that, I'm able to say
- 9:21Speaker 6: today that I thank my heavenly Father, I really do
- 9:25Speaker 6: for all the blessing seeds to bestowed upon me and
- 9:28Speaker 6: all of the haters, and all of the liars, and
- 9:32Speaker 6: all of the backstabers and all those people.
- 9:34Speaker 1: When you get through lyon, when you get through.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Stabbing, when you get through gossiping and doing what you do,
- 9:44Speaker 6: I'm still going to the next level. I'm still going.
- 9:50Speaker 6: You cannot stop what God has in store for you.
- 9:55Speaker 6: No one can stop that.
- 9:59Speaker 9: Morning show.

- 12:29Speaker 1: None of us did.
- 12:30Speaker 7: Well, I agree, we agree, but but I'm not where now?
- 12:37Speaker 10: You know.

- 20:54Speaker 5: the building. Right after this, you're listening Hard Morning show
- 21:00Speaker 5: coming up at the top of the hour and entertainment news.
- 21:03Speaker 5: The World Health Organization identified impots as a global health emergency.
- 21:09Speaker 5: Jymnast Simone Files clapped back at Hater's over her new
- 21:12Speaker 5: ermez bag and will tell you which airline allows you

- 21:20Speaker 5: up at the top of the hour.
- 21:21Speaker 9: Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, it's happening.
- 21:24Speaker 5: It's happening right now. It is time to ask the COLO,
- 21:30Speaker 5: our Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey. This is from Katanya
- 21:34Speaker 5: in Chesterfield. Katanya writes, my husband went on a three
- 21:38Speaker 5: day work trip and he came back with his undies
- 21:40Speaker 5: clean and nicely folded. I don't fold his undies like that.
- 21:45Speaker 5: If he washes them himself, he never folds them, I
- 21:49Speaker 5: mean never. So who washed and folded them?
- 21:52Speaker 1: And why? Well?
- 21:53Speaker 6: The hotel has that certain it's called laundry. It's in
- 21:57Speaker 6: most hotel rooms. There's a little plastic bagslip on the
- 22:00Speaker 6: hangar in your closet with a little sheet on it
- 22:03Speaker 6: that tells you that.
- 22:04Speaker 1: And so then you could send your draws down there or.
- 22:07Speaker 6: Anything else, and you could request crease draws you could send,
- 22:11Speaker 6: You could request they on the way that you you
- 22:14Speaker 6: can request to day on your sick They have that
- 22:17Speaker 6: service at the hotel, bring it back in a little basket. Huh.
- 22:22Speaker 5: She didn't ask him.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Obviously she going it the wrong way. She's she's looking
- 22:28Speaker 1: for something to be wrong.
- 22:31Speaker 6: And if he was on a three day business trip,
- 22:33Speaker 6: he was staying at a hotel, so they have that service.
- 22:37Speaker 13: What's wrong?
- 22:38Speaker 1: All right? You don't fold you know?
- 22:42Speaker 7: Some woman folded them draws?
- 22:45Speaker 1: No woman folded them draw.
- 22:46Speaker 7: You don't think so.
- 22:48Speaker 1: He didn't.
- 22:49Speaker 4: He didn't Rent who runs out of draws when you
- 22:51Speaker 4: got to get them cleaned on the road for three days.
- 22:55Speaker 15: He just couldn't pack them his dirty clothes up and
- 22:58Speaker 15: come on back.
- 22:59Speaker 13: For three days here. That's what you're saying.
- 23:03Speaker 7: How dirty was them drawl? They could make it back
- 23:05Speaker 7: in that babe.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Just throwing them away. I'm standing on mine right now.
- 23:14Speaker 1: That alibis y'all ain't punched a hole in nothing.
- 23:19Speaker 6: Not just saying, hotel, provide that service going down next
- 23:23Speaker 6: time you check in and look in that calls and
- 23:25Speaker 6: see if they ain't got that plastic bag with that
- 23:27Speaker 6: little sheet on it.
- 23:29Speaker 1: That's all I got to say, all right.
- 23:31Speaker 5: Next one is Aaron in Southfield. Aaron says, I'm a
- 23:34Speaker 5: nail tech and I did a house call for a
- 23:36Speaker 5: guy that needed a manicure. I put the video of
- 23:39Speaker 5: the man's hands on my TikTok. My husband said that
- 23:43Speaker 5: working at a man's house makes him look bad. I'm
- 23:46Speaker 5: a professional. Why would he play me like that?
- 23:49Speaker 6: Well, it's a little it's a little unnerving, you must admit,
- 23:53Speaker 6: with a man's wife going to a single man's home alone,
- 23:57Speaker 6: It just it looked crazy. Yeah, and ain't nobody saying
- 24:01Speaker 6: you not a professional. But now you got the man's
- 24:04Speaker 6: hands on video and all this here. Now you're over
- 24:07Speaker 6: the single man's house. It's just not a good look
- 24:10Speaker 6: for a married woman. I got you performed the service.
- 24:13Speaker 6: It's just not a good look. That's all enough, what
- 24:16Speaker 6: your husband's saying. And I wouldn't want my wife going
- 24:19Speaker 6: over some single man's house alone, because now, first of all,
- 24:22Speaker 6: not you know, well, we will heat you.
- 24:25Speaker 1: We'll need that money right there, you do somebody out here, okay,
- 24:29Speaker 1: all right, all right?
- 24:31Speaker 5: Moving on to Duwyane and Biloxi, Dwayne writes, my wife's
- 24:34Speaker 5: grown son came to stay with us for a weekend,
- 24:37Speaker 5: and she said I made him feel unwelcome. I didn't
- 24:41Speaker 5: like him going into the fridge without asking, or getting
- 24:43Speaker 5: too cozy on the sofa. He's thirty two and never
- 24:46Speaker 5: lived with us, so shouldn't he act like a visitor?
- 24:54Speaker 1: Well, bruh, bruh.
- 24:57Speaker 6: You know it's her son, yeah, your and if her
- 25:01Speaker 6: and if your son a son always won't feel like
- 25:03Speaker 6: he can go to.
- 25:04Speaker 1: His mama's house and beep home at home, right, you know.
- 25:07Speaker 6: So he gonna he walking in refrigerator, sitting on the sofa.
- 25:10Speaker 6: What was he supposed to ask you? Can he sit
- 25:11Speaker 6: on the sofa? And it's just so he got to
- 25:14Speaker 6: ask you for something to eat. And I understand what
- 25:16Speaker 6: you're saying.
- 25:16Speaker 1: As a man.
- 25:18Speaker 6: If he was a stranger, I got you. But this
- 25:22Speaker 6: happens to be her son. Yeah, it's her son. Had
- 25:28Speaker 6: six brits in there. It's folks, it's foss sprites in
- 25:31Speaker 6: that now, I know. Damn Will you ain't hear no
- 25:32Speaker 6: spright if you have a spr.
- 25:42Speaker 5: Yeah you know.
- 25:43Speaker 6: See, I know you don't know him because he didn't
- 25:45Speaker 6: live with y'all. But she had him, and you got it,
- 25:48Speaker 6: and you got and and she and she just he
- 25:51Speaker 6: just visited for a week a weekend.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Man, dog man.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Now he gone.
- 25:57Speaker 6: And all you had to do is hey, you know
- 25:59Speaker 6: what I mean. Could have gave you a chance to
- 26:00Speaker 6: get to know the young man. He might be a
- 26:02Speaker 6: cool dude. Yeah, he wasn't over there smoking weed, having
- 26:06Speaker 6: people over at the house. He didn't tell none. He
- 26:09Speaker 6: just opened the refrigerator, sat on the cop That was
- 26:12Speaker 6: wrong with your old lass.
- 26:13Speaker 9: Yeah, you're at your mom's house. She can't go in
- 26:15Speaker 9: the refrigerator.
- 26:17Speaker 7: What right, better be better behind something?
- 26:22Speaker 5: Yeah, he's crazy, all right. Last one, Steve Filo, Felicia
- 26:26Speaker 5: in Morristown writes, my partner drinks brown liquor and I
- 26:31Speaker 5: drink vodka. She's on a diet, so she drank most
- 26:35Speaker 5: of my vodka because it because it has less sugar.
- 26:38Speaker 5: She replaced my vodka with a cheap brand that I hate.
- 26:42Speaker 5: Am I supposed to accept this or make her buy
- 26:44Speaker 5: what I drink?
- 26:46Speaker 6: Okay, let me go back to the very beginning.
- 26:50Speaker 5: It is okay, this is her partner, Yeah, my partner.
- 26:54Speaker 5: This is from Felicia in Morristown. She says, my partner
- 26:57Speaker 5: drinks brown liquor and I drink vodka.
- 27:00Speaker 6: So there's two women and they see it. Well, you know,
- 27:03Speaker 6: that's life. That's how it goes. Sometimes sometimes your girl,
- 27:07Speaker 6: sometimes your girl take liberty cause she your girl. Yeah,
- 27:12Speaker 6: you know if Margie going there and and and and
- 27:15Speaker 6: and drink my favorite coffee cream or something like that,
- 27:18Speaker 6: what hell, I can't say nothing.
- 27:21Speaker 1: See what y'all can't.
- 27:23Speaker 6: Do now is getting these relationships and then want to
- 27:26Speaker 6: change the rules to These are relationship rules, and they
- 27:30Speaker 6: apply across the board. Those women can pretty much do
- 27:35Speaker 6: the hell like she want to. Now you got one?
- 27:38Speaker 6: She doing like she want to? Anybody fins place your
- 27:40Speaker 6: exact foka and all this hell. Maybe y'all don't need
- 27:46Speaker 6: to be together. How hot y'all y'all got separate vodkas?
- 27:49Speaker 1: You drank brown, I drank clear what what?
- 27:54Speaker 8: Hey?
- 27:54Speaker 1: Man, y'all need to break up for this go any further?
- 27:57Speaker 9: Yeah, this is a small thing to get into all
- 28:00Speaker 9: open some liquor.
- 28:02Speaker 13: Wow, you know crown is expensive and Tito.
- 28:07Speaker 6: Boy, well the reason I know where he don't know
- 28:10Speaker 6: cost that much because that's what Monica drank Mississippi. I
- 28:14Speaker 6: knew it Mississippi. She buy everything she buy down at Target,
- 28:19Speaker 6: so I know.
- 28:20Speaker 8: Good.
- 28:20Speaker 6: Hell, well it can't be that damn. But because you
- 28:22Speaker 6: see it at monica house, she done researched it because
- 28:26Speaker 6: you know she got must for degrees, so she done
- 28:29Speaker 6: researched it. And then Tito's is made from fresher potatoes
- 28:32Speaker 6: or something she said, and you have less tatories and
- 28:36Speaker 6: all this hill and like Monica drank Tito because Tino
- 28:41Speaker 6: Tito grow your half looking hair back. Yeah, women, if
- 28:47Speaker 6: y'all want to get longer hair like Monica got in
- 28:50Speaker 6: all natural that's gonna probably have started drinking Tito's.
- 28:57Speaker 9: It's crazy that going on for it too.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I'm just trying to help people.
- 29:03Speaker 5: So yeah, her question is is she's supposed to accept
- 29:05Speaker 5: this or make her.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Biyr girl Girl, it don't change.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Coming at the top of the hour, we'll have some
- 29:13Speaker 5: entertainment news for you. Thank you, Celo.
- 29:16Speaker 9: Right after this, you're listening hard Morning Show.
- 29:23Speaker 5: The World Health Organization has declared a global health emergency.
- 29:27Speaker 5: This is all due to the rapid spread of impacts,
- 29:30Speaker 5: formerly known as monkey pox. More than fifteen thousand cases
- 29:34Speaker 5: of impots have been reported in the Democratic Republic of
- 29:37Speaker 5: Congo and Africa, and there have been five hundred and
- 29:41Speaker 5: thirty seven deaths in relation to impocs. So far, IMPOS
- 29:46Speaker 5: has spread to thirteen countries in Africa, prompting the World
- 29:49Speaker 5: Health Organization to classify the outbreak as a public health
- 29:53Speaker 5: emergency of international concerns. Impots have spread through close contact
- 29:59Speaker 5: and contamin NATed materials, so be careful. Wow, And once
- 30:04Speaker 5: again moving on to this story, Simone buys his clap
- 30:08Speaker 5: back at her haters, uh, this time over an ermez bag.
- 30:12Speaker 5: Simone went shopping at hermez in Paris and posted on
- 30:15Speaker 5: Instagram a wall of cream and tan colored burken bags
- 30:19Speaker 5: and a photo of Irme's signature orange gift box. Negative
- 30:23Speaker 5: comments began flooding in, saying she should not buy such
- 30:26Speaker 5: an expensive purse and she was.
- 30:29Speaker 9: Just showing off.
- 30:30Speaker 5: Simone jumped in to set the record straight by responding, quote,
- 30:33Speaker 5: my parents bought me my irmez bag. Don't be mad
- 30:37Speaker 5: at me, be mad at your parents.
- 30:44Speaker 1: She can't buy what she wants.
- 30:46Speaker 15: She's the goat of Yahnastics, NFL football players.
- 30:52Speaker 6: She got a husband, yeah, as she got a career.
- 30:56Speaker 6: This woman gets paid nice endorsement money. This woman gets
- 31:00Speaker 6: paid when she went a gold You know she can
- 31:03Speaker 6: do what she want to do.
- 31:04Speaker 1: How come people?
- 31:05Speaker 6: Look, man, I don't know why we in this world now,
- 31:09Speaker 6: but ar ain't nobody happy for nobody no more?
- 31:13Speaker 1: And the hater voices are so loud.
- 31:17Speaker 6: Man, congratulations on being able to buy such a crime.
- 31:21Speaker 6: Because I'm gonna tell you right now, when you get
- 31:24Speaker 6: the money, all this stuff you're saying you will never buy,
- 31:28Speaker 6: You're going to buy it because I did the exact
- 31:31Speaker 6: same thing. Case in points, Habbi gave me a pair
- 31:35Speaker 6: of seven hundred and fifty dollars Alligator Maury Gators back
- 31:40Speaker 6: in the late eighties. I told him when he gave
- 31:44Speaker 6: me them shoes as a gift and I put him on,
- 31:46Speaker 6: they felt like no other shoe I wore. I said,
- 31:48Speaker 6: I will never, no matter how much money I make,
- 31:51Speaker 6: spend seven hundred and fifty dollars on the shoe.
- 31:53Speaker 1: He said, you are going to become my biggest customer.
- 32:00Speaker 10: You did.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I used to walk in there and be up on
- 32:03Speaker 1: that whole wall of gators, whatever color, every color I had,
- 32:08Speaker 1: pink and white gating. What did you talking about? He
- 32:11Speaker 1: got land line, green gat.
- 32:14Speaker 5: But but do you think, though, I mean, is there
- 32:16Speaker 5: a way that she should deal with the haters because
- 32:18Speaker 5: they're always coming for her no matter what she does.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Well, I'm enjoying her clapback. Yeah, yeah, that's your part.
- 32:27Speaker 10: You know.
- 32:28Speaker 6: I almost I almost want to clap back something, almost
- 32:34Speaker 6: because I could type some real strong stuff.
- 32:37Speaker 1: But I'm I done.
- 32:39Speaker 6: Just got at the age now well, yeah, I just
- 32:42Speaker 6: didn't crossed that line, that that that I could give
- 32:44Speaker 6: less than a line. Yes, And I'm just on the
- 32:46Speaker 6: other side. I'm sixty seven years old. Man, o'ty what
- 32:49Speaker 6: you say about me?
- 32:52Speaker 1: Bro, when y'all.
- 32:52Speaker 15: Threw'all say something about I have y'all say somebody because
- 33:00Speaker 15: they're always criticized girl always for her the best gymnast
- 33:04Speaker 15: in the world on the period. Ever, and y'all got
- 33:10Speaker 15: something to say about the bad reward herself.
- 33:14Speaker 5: Yeah, it's just a handbag.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Come on, she got a husband that play in the NFL.
- 33:20Speaker 6: Yes, Oh my good sponsorship dollars this girl, y'all understand
- 33:27Speaker 6: that bag.
- 33:28Speaker 1: That bag ain't hurting her.
- 33:30Speaker 13: No, no, live your life.
- 33:37Speaker 1: If y'all knew what some people was buying.
- 33:41Speaker 8: For real.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Is explicit, all right.
- 33:49Speaker 5: See this next story is not for you. Okay, this question, Uh,
- 33:53Speaker 5: have you ever tipped a flight attendant? Okay, it's not
- 33:56Speaker 5: for you because we know you feel like private we're
- 33:58Speaker 5: talking about commercial flights.
- 34:02Speaker 1: I bought it.
- 34:02Speaker 6: Well, well, I will say that is for me because
- 34:05Speaker 6: back in the day I bought a flight attendant a car.
- 34:10Speaker 13: We have asked you not to share every thought.
- 34:14Speaker 8: You know, I like it.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I like it, all right.
- 34:18Speaker 5: Well, you know when you're on a flight then and
- 34:20Speaker 5: you get great service from your flight attendant, and naturally
- 34:26Speaker 5: you want to show your appreciation, maybe not like but
- 34:30Speaker 5: with some sort of tip, right, Yeah, airlines don't take tips. Yeah,
- 34:36Speaker 5: but that's not true. Though, Frontier Airlines does allow you
- 34:39Speaker 5: to tip their flight crew when you purchase food and beverages.
- 34:43Speaker 5: They do allow you to do that. A Frontier Airlines
- 34:45Speaker 5: flight attendant will hand you a tablet for your payment
- 34:48Speaker 5: and for your tip.
- 34:50Speaker 13: So there fighting people, and that's why you should tip them.
- 35:00Speaker 5: Yeah, you're back.
- 35:02Speaker 6: Wait a minute, ain't Ain't Frontier the airline to charge
- 35:06Speaker 6: you for an overweight bag and an oversize all.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Of all, and then more than one bag. Oh you remember, girl,
- 35:19Speaker 1: I caught a plane because I had emergency.
- 35:20Speaker 6: I had to I had to go to Dallas one time,
- 35:22Speaker 6: and I couldn't get a plane, and so I ended
- 35:24Speaker 6: up flying.
- 35:25Speaker 1: It was either Frontier or Animal Spirit. The spirit.
- 35:30Speaker 6: Hey man, let me tell you something about the time
- 35:32Speaker 6: I paid for the size of my bag, the weight
- 35:35Speaker 6: of my bag, and the number of bags I could
- 35:38Speaker 6: have bought another person an airline ticket.
- 35:42Speaker 13: Oh that was air tran air show was after air.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Train, right, God, God, I see that picture.
- 35:55Speaker 7: You're gonna a train.
- 35:56Speaker 5: Coming up in twenty minutes after. We will highlight next
- 35:59Speaker 5: week's Scratic National Convention going down in Chicago. Baby. Right
- 36:04Speaker 5: after this you're listening.
- 36:07Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 36:08Speaker 5: The Democratic National Convention kicks off Monday, August nineteenth in Chicago.
- 36:13Speaker 5: This is where Democrats come together to discuss what's at
- 36:16Speaker 5: stake in this year's election and to rally around Kamala
- 36:19Speaker 5: Harris and Tim Waltz, the Democratic nominees for President and
- 36:22Speaker 5: Vice President of the US. John Legend is set to
- 36:26Speaker 5: headline the party that's being thrown by Illinois Governor J. B. Pritzker,
- 36:31Speaker 5: and it's expected to be one of DMC's biggest events.
- 36:35Speaker 5: There is a four day DNC schedule available online for
- 36:39Speaker 5: the thousands of people that plan to be in Chicago
- 36:41Speaker 5: next week, and the excitement behind this year's DNC is amazing.
- 36:46Speaker 5: So I got to ask you, what are you expecting
- 36:49Speaker 5: from next week's convention? Just a lot of I mean, speeches,
- 36:54Speaker 5: great knowings.
- 36:56Speaker 8: You know what I love?
- 36:57Speaker 15: When I watched the DNC, it looks like America. It's
- 37:00Speaker 15: people from all walks of life. You see all races,
- 37:04Speaker 15: delegates on the floor versus the RINC.
- 37:08Speaker 5: You don't see yourself, you don't see yourself.
- 37:13Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, that's what I love.
- 37:14Speaker 15: Just the delegates, the voters out there on the floor,
- 37:18Speaker 15: just all wanting, you know, the best for our families
- 37:21Speaker 15: in this country.
- 37:23Speaker 5: Yeah, and that's what I think.
- 37:25Speaker 6: Yeah, And I think this is going to solidify the
- 37:28Speaker 6: party and the movement because I'm telling you right now,
- 37:32Speaker 6: I watch Fox religiously because I have to know what
- 37:37Speaker 6: the enemy is doing.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Yeah, and they are horrible people.
- 37:41Speaker 6: Forget that Fox News lost a billion dollar lawsuit for
- 37:46Speaker 6: proven to not be a news channel, that they were
- 37:51Speaker 6: an entertainment company and for lying to all these people,
- 37:55Speaker 6: and they brush that under the rug and see an
- 37:58Speaker 6: inn or None of the other networks have blown it
- 38:01Speaker 6: up to give full light to this situation. Now, if
- 38:05Speaker 6: CNN had been accused of being not truthful and entertainment
- 38:10Speaker 6: network or Fox would be running that in the ground.
- 38:13Speaker 6: But I think what this will do is solidify because
- 38:17Speaker 6: I'm watching the tide turn Madame Vice President Kamala Harris
- 38:20Speaker 6: because I like to give her respect when she runs.
- 38:25Speaker 6: If we do our part, we'll be the next president
- 38:28Speaker 6: of the United States. All we got to do is
- 38:30Speaker 6: do our part. And I'm telling you who we are.
- 38:33Speaker 6: We are the deciding factors. And for those of you
- 38:36Speaker 6: that have always been talking about our vote don't count.
- 38:39Speaker 6: I'm gonna explain to you how much your vote counts.
- 38:43Speaker 6: It counts in a great way because the Republicans are
- 38:46Speaker 6: trying to find every way they can to get it.
- 38:50Speaker 6: They position these people behind Trump at all, they rallies.
- 38:54Speaker 6: Those are hand picked people to put back there Blacks
- 38:56Speaker 6: for Trump, black for Trump, and they put money organization black.
- 39:02Speaker 1: It's easy with a pay check, Yeah, I can.
- 39:06Speaker 5: They're not hiding.
- 39:07Speaker 1: It's easy to find. Oh well, let me not say that.

- 54:16Speaker 1: It could be yours.
- 54:17Speaker 7: Buchel love and hold on tight. We got it for you.
- 54:18Speaker 7: Here it is Strawbery Letter.
- 54:20Speaker 5: Thank you for your subject, Why would she keep telling
- 54:23Speaker 5: the same lie? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm forty two and
- 54:27Speaker 5: my boyfriend is forty seven. When we met, he was
- 54:30Speaker 5: going through a divorce and he lived with his brother.
- 54:33Speaker 5: He would go missing on weekends and his wife started
- 54:36Speaker 5: calling me with lies, saying that when he wasn't with me,
- 54:39Speaker 5: he was back at home with his family. I have
- 54:42Speaker 5: no idea where their house is, so I could not
- 54:44Speaker 5: ride by the house to see if my boyfriend was there.
- 54:47Speaker 5: And the last time he disappeared, he said that he
- 54:50Speaker 5: and his brother were gambling all night and his phone died.
- 54:53Speaker 5: His brother confirmed it. I trust that he's being honest.
- 54:57Speaker 5: I asked how his wife got my number, and he
- 54:59Speaker 5: said he gave it to her in case of emergency
- 55:02Speaker 5: with the kids. He had to know that wasn't a
- 55:04Speaker 5: good idea because she calls me a home wrecker. A
- 55:07Speaker 5: year into our relationship, he had to move back home
- 55:10Speaker 5: because his brother's girlfriend was moving in. I asked why
- 55:13Speaker 5: he couldn't get his own place, and he said he
- 55:15Speaker 5: has bad credits, so he's moving back to the house
- 55:18Speaker 5: that he still pays for. His wife called me again
- 55:22Speaker 5: to say that her husband was back at home and
- 55:24Speaker 5: I should give up hope that he'll ever leave again.
- 55:29Speaker 5: I always record our conversation so I could play it
- 55:32Speaker 5: back to my boyfriend. He heard the last conversation and
- 55:35Speaker 5: he said that she keeps telling me the same lie
- 55:37Speaker 5: because she wants their marriage to work out. I know
- 55:40Speaker 5: he's trying to get out of the marriage because I've
- 55:42Speaker 5: heard him talking to his lawyer. I would never believe
- 55:45Speaker 5: his crazy wife, and I'm tired of her feeding me
- 55:49Speaker 5: all of her lies. I got my number change so
- 55:51Speaker 5: I can live in peace with my boyfriend. I've talked
- 55:54Speaker 5: to him and facetimed face timed him, so I know
- 55:58Speaker 5: he's not in the bed with her. What other proof
- 56:00Speaker 5: do I need that she's a liar? She's a liar. Okay,
- 56:06Speaker 5: this is not about her, let's start the letter there.
- 56:09Speaker 5: This is not about her his ex wife and the
- 56:13Speaker 5: lies you think she's telling you. This is about you
- 56:16Speaker 5: and the lies you're telling yourself. You've got to see
- 56:21Speaker 5: through some of this stuff. You just got to because
- 56:24Speaker 5: he's always, for some crazy reason, at his wife's house.
- 56:28Speaker 5: Have you figured that out? Either he was m i
- 56:31Speaker 5: A on the weekends, or he has bad credit and
- 56:34Speaker 5: can't get his own place, or he had to move
- 56:36Speaker 5: back to his wife because his brother's girlfriend was moving
- 56:39Speaker 5: in where he was staying. Well, what does it matter
- 56:41Speaker 5: the reason? Anyway? Right now he's back in the house, okay,
- 56:45Speaker 5: with his wife, with his family, keyword wife, because he
- 56:50Speaker 5: is still married to this woman. So instead of talking
- 56:53Speaker 5: about living in peace with your boyfriend and all that,
- 56:55Speaker 5: or recording your conversations with his wife. Why don't you
- 56:58Speaker 5: just leave him alone until he's divorced, completely officially divorced.
- 57:03Speaker 5: Then you won't have all this drama to worry about
- 57:06Speaker 5: in your life. It's simple, Steve.
- 57:09Speaker 6: Here's a letter, Here's a whole letter. Why would she
- 57:13Speaker 6: keep telling the same lie? The reason we all tell
- 57:16Speaker 6: the same lie is because you keep believing it. That's
- 57:22Speaker 6: it in a nutshell. Let's quit playing around. If I
- 57:27Speaker 6: told you that the reason I didn't come home that
- 57:31Speaker 6: weekend because I was out gambling with my brother and
- 57:35Speaker 6: my phone died, and you said, oh okay. Then the
- 57:39Speaker 6: next time you asked me, why were you that weekend?
- 57:43Speaker 6: You know what I'm gonna say. I was with my
- 57:45Speaker 6: brother gambling at the casino and the phone died.
- 57:49Speaker 1: Do you know what that is?
- 57:50Speaker 6: That's the same lie. And why would I keep telling it?
- 57:55Speaker 6: Because you keep believing it? You know what I love
- 57:59Speaker 6: about this letter? I love the lady that wrote it.
- 58:01Speaker 6: I wish I could meet women like you.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Where are they? I've never had these before? You really you.
- 58:10Speaker 6: Believe everything he says, and your whole one goal in
- 58:16Speaker 6: life is to justify everything.
- 58:18Speaker 1: He says. You don't, you don't. It doesn't create a
- 58:23Speaker 1: moment of pause for you. Of nothing.
- 58:25Speaker 6: He'll go missing on the weekends, and his wife started
- 58:27Speaker 6: calling me with lies, saying that he wasn't with me,
- 58:30Speaker 6: he was back home with his family.
- 58:33Speaker 1: You don't know that.
- 58:34Speaker 6: So you believed it when he said he wasn't. But well,
- 58:36Speaker 6: where was he then? If he wasn't back home with
- 58:39Speaker 6: this lady, where was he? I have no idea where
- 58:41Speaker 6: that house is, so I couldn't ride by the house
- 58:43Speaker 6: to see if my boyfriend was there.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Okay.
- 58:47Speaker 6: The last time he disappeared, he said him and his
- 58:49Speaker 6: brother was gambling all night and his phone died. You
- 58:51Speaker 6: believe that, So that's good. His brother confirmed it. What
- 58:54Speaker 6: he supposed to do.
- 58:57Speaker 1: My brother go along with whatever.
- 58:58Speaker 8: Man.
- 58:58Speaker 6: If I called my brother and said, hey, man, look,
- 59:00Speaker 6: if you get a call from so and so, this
- 59:02Speaker 6: is why I would all right, I got you player,
- 59:04Speaker 6: he hang up, ain't no where was you?
- 59:06Speaker 1: And all this here?
- 59:07Speaker 13: That's my brother.
- 59:10Speaker 6: I trust that he's being honest. Okay, Well there you
- 59:13Speaker 6: have it. What you write me and Shirley for if
- 59:17Speaker 6: you trust he's being honest, I asked how his wife
- 59:21Speaker 6: got my number. He said he gave it to in
- 59:23Speaker 6: case of emergency with the kid. What boy, the emergency
- 59:29Speaker 6: with the kids?
- 59:30Speaker 2: She called you.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Let me explain to you how she got his number.
- 59:36Speaker 6: He left the phone laying down at the house when
- 59:40Speaker 6: he was sleep back over there, and she got your number. Look,
- 59:46Speaker 6: I'm not divorced, and I'm gonna give my wife my
- 59:51Speaker 6: current girlfriend's number.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Lady.
- 59:55Speaker 6: They ain't a man on planet Earth gonna do that.
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: But if you want to, you want to believe that
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: he's honest, and you're gonna justify it, then I'm here
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: for you when I come back, let's just go along
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: with all the rest of the livest When we come back,
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: we'll be Let's just go along with the rest though.
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: All right, Steve, we'll have part two of your response.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: But you know what, don't Shirley Huh.
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: Here's the deal, though, If you tell somebody the truth
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: and they don't believe you, that ain't your fault. Yeah, true,
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: My daddy taught that to me. If you tell somebody
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: the truth and they don't believe you, that ain't your fault.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: That's right, all right.
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: Subject of today's Strawberry Letter, why would she keep telling
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: the same lie? We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:46Speaker 9: You're listening.
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: Morning show, All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: strawberry letter. The subject why would she keep telling the
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: same lie?
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: Well, but very quickly, let me sow him up this
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: letter for you? Why would she keep telling the same lie?
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: Because you keep belie even you forty two? Your husb
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: boyfriend forty seven. When y'all met, he was going through
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: a divorce. He was living with his brother. He would
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: disappear on the weekends. You couldn't find him. The wife
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: would call you on your phone and tell you she's
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: back with his family. He would disappear on other week ends.
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: He told you he was with his brother at a
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: casino gambling and his phone died. You called his brother,
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: His brother confirmed it. That's what brothers? Do you believe
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: that one right there? You don't know how his wife
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: got your phone number. He told you he gave it
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: to her in case that was an emergency with the kids.
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: What do you got to give you her number? She
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: got his number? You the daddy, And let me ask you,
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: and let me tell you something else. What man gives
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: his wife his current girlfriend in number.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Who'll do that? What he stayed?
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Who do these people?
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: This is so perfect man, so beautiful?
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: Uh? And he had to know that wasn't a good
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: idea because she calls me a home record. Okay, a
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: year entire relationship. He had to move back home because
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: his brother's girlfriend was moving in. His brother's girlfriend was
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: moving in. Yeah, so I asked why he couldn't get
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: his own place. He say he got bad credits. So
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: he moving back to the house where he still pay for. Mmm,
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: he didn't want to come stay with you? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: he went back home. Then guess what his wife called
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: me back to say their husband was back at home
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: and I should give up hope that he'll ever leave again.
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: Always record our conversation so I could play it back
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: for the boyfriend. What you got to play that back forth?
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: Didn't she say he back home? Didn't he say he
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: went back home? He told you it's for bad credit.
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: She said he back home, and you should give up
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: hope he ain't ever leaving again. You recorded that. He
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: heard the last conversation and says, she keeps telling me
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: the same lie because she won'ts they marriage to work out. No,
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: she keeps telling you the truth that you refuse to believe.
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: She does want their marriage to work out, so.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: And he do too. But guess what though.
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: He I know he trying to get out the marriage
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: because I've heard him talking to his lawyer. Oh you
- 1:03:35Speaker 6: thought that was the lawyer on his brother, that's what
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: you're talking about. You thought that was his lawyer. Girl, girl,
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: I'm tired of her feeding me all her lies. I
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: got my number change so I can live in peace
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: with my boyfriend. You're not living in peace with your boyfriend.
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: He lived back with his family.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Yes, yes, you're not in peace.
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: She just can't call you no more. I've talked to
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: him and FaceTime him, so I know he's not in
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: bed with her. You don't think when that phone rang
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: he know how to get ghosts and get somewhere and FaceTime.
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: What other proof that I do I need that she's
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: a liar? Okay, now, I know this is gonna come
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: as a shocker to you. Ready hold yourself. What other
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: proof do.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: I need that she's a liar?
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: Could it be that it ain't her that's the liar?
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: Could it possibly be that your boyfriend is a liar?
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: I don't want to complicate things because you do out
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: this letter tried to justify everything as he's saying. And
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: I just want to offer you a counter thought, since
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: you're having a hard time proving that she's a liar.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: Could it be and I don't want to say this,
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: Could it be she telling the truth?
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: Imagine that?
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: Sorry, newsflash, and you so tired of hearing the truth,
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: You've changed your number so you ain't got to face
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: the truth no more. But guess what, You've changed your
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: numbers so you can live in peace with your boyfriend.
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: But your boyfriend to move back.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: In that house, lady, his wife.
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: I don't know how many more. You know what Judge
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: lenn told her said on my talk show one time.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: What women?
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: She said, two things. Don't let a man have to
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: tell you twice. He don't want you. And women should
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: stop collecting red flags. Yes, stop picking them up, putting
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: them in the trunk of your car, driving around with them.
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: Red flags should stay in the ground. When you see
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: the red flag, turn your car around. Quit picking them up,
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: putting them in the trunk. Come on, don't wan't see
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: no damn red flag here? Congratulations? Any questions anybody? I
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: just want to know where this woman is man? And
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: does she have a sister? Because what are these women?
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: I have a question. Yes, who's the lawyer?
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Who's he talking to?
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: Oh that's his brother. That's his brother, for sure, that's
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: what his brother is, the lawyer. But his brother is
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: also proof that he was at the casino and his
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: brother don't get And his brother is also the one
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: that's got the girlfriend moving in m.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: M because I love you, my brother, but boy, I
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: sleep with her.
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: So yeah, everybody facing the obvious except the lady that
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: wrote the letter except thank you for writing us, ma'am.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: You don't have a boyfriend though?
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: No, no, All right, listen, leave your comments on today's
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: Strawberry Her on Instagram and Steve Harvey FM, and check
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: us out on the Strawberry Letter podcast on the free
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: iHeartRadio app. We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: Show coming up right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: All right, So, Steve, I don't know if you've heard
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: the latest from Stephen A. Smith. He's calling out Vice
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: President Kamala Harris for not giving interviews. I hope he
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: knows that she's's been running a campaign and picking a
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: vice president and she only had a few days to.
- 1:07:32Speaker 10: Do it, you know.
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: So he's saying that she just got the nod. There's
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: a lot of organization that has to be gone.
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: Yeah, so this is what he said. I'm talking to
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: my sister here. Come on now, you're running for the
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: presidency of the United States of America. You got my vote.
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: What are you hiding for? And I mean hiding in
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: playing side? Oh yeah, somebody got to say it. Somebody
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: got to say it.
- 1:07:54Speaker 9: Stephen A.
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: Smith said that this week on his up Hot.
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: Ain't ain't NFL getting ready to start? Ain't ain't sports happening?
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: I mean they playing baseball? Ain't they playing baseball? They
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: just got the Olympics? Uh, lower lip? Ain't it a
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: lot to talk about in sports?
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: Saying he's saying, somebody's got to say it. It just
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: can't be the conservatives, right, is right? So he's asking
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: her what.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: Yes, that's that's exactly the problem. First of all, let
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: me pre mupt this back.
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: And I love Steve.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Steven A and I are friends.
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: We talk about everything, personal stuff, kids, family, everything.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: I love the brother. Here here is the problem.
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: You can't issue a compliment and then with the backhand
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: negative statement. And the unfairness of this statement is he
- 1:08:51Speaker 6: said it himself. Come on, somebody's got to say this.
- 1:08:55Speaker 6: It can't just be the conservatives, because I'm telling you
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: it is the number one thing they running up the
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: flag pole on Fox. She won't do an interview, she
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: won't do an interview. Well, when Donald Trump does an interview,
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: do you hear him never answering the questions.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: He did an interview with the NABJ National Association.
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: Of Black Journeys, and all he did was insult his
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: sister the entire time he was on that every black
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: woman that asked him a question, he has something insulting
- 1:09:25Speaker 6: to say.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: He's such a.
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: One sided, simple minded candidate. The picture of Millennia and
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: Madifie President Kamala Harris comparing them that they look alike
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: and then she's a beautiful woman. Hey man, how simple
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: are you? You running for president? Are you hosting another
- 1:09:44Speaker 6: damn pageant? Make up your mind. We have got to
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: stop being so damn smart that we stoopid. Look this
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: machine that we have called the Steve rby More on
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: the show is one hundred percent behind the future president
- 1:10:01Speaker 6: of United States, Kamala Harris, that's the motion, Steven A. Smith,
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: as my boy, we got to be careful what we say.
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: We got to be conscious of.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Who we are.
- 1:10:10Speaker 8: Now.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: If she got your vote, she got your vote. Let's
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: just stay that.
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: Don't coming up at the top of the hour, man
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: needs your help, Steve to figure out if his wife
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: used to be a stripper. We'll talk about that right
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: after this.
- 1:10:22Speaker 9: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:10:27Speaker 5: All right, Steve, This is from TJ in South Georgia.
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: He says, my girlfriend and I have been dating for
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: three years. I'm ready to ask her to marry me.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: But a week ago we went to her hometown to
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: visit her family. Her brothers and her male cousins took
- 1:10:40Speaker 5: me out on the town and we ended up at
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: a strip club. The security guard asked, where's Bertie. Two
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: of the dancers and even the DJ asked us where's
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: Bertie when they came to speak to us, Steve, Birdie
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: is my girlfriend's nickname. Whenever they asked about Bertie, her
- 1:10:58Speaker 5: brothers got tense and they cut their eyes over at me.
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: Does my Birdie have a pass that I don't know about?
- 1:11:05Speaker 5: Birdie stripper?
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: Yes, a birdie is not a nickname Birdie is a stage.
- 1:11:17Speaker 6: Let's be clear, because that's why everybody at the club
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: knew Bertie.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: Okay, now that's under the.
- 1:11:27Speaker 8: Now.
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: How would you know if your wife is a former stripper?
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: I have a couple of ways, did you?
- 1:11:33Speaker 5: Okay?
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: If every time she enters a room she grabs the
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: edge of the doorway and swings into the that's a
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: damn dead giveaway. She grabbed the edge of that doorway
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: and swing in, that's a damn dead gibble.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Okay, y'all. Walking down the street and she up all
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: the money.
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: She see on the sidewalk, even if it's a quarter
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: nickel of dime. If she know how to pick up
- 1:12:07Speaker 6: money off the ground, this is a dead giveaway that
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: your wife could have been a stripper. If she's standing
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: at the stove cooking and for no reason at all,
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: she just squatted to the floor and bounced.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Back up, drop it like it's hot, for no reason,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: no reason, man, what happened? If her favorite song come on,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: no matter where she at, and she.
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: Got to stand up and bounce in a little circle.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Clap, clap, cloud, bounce.
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: Bounce it every time one of her songs come up,
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: she and if she can make it clap and you
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: can hear it clapping.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Jesus, all strip of skill.
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: I love that door. If she had a lot of
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: shoes that she can't wear.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: The church.
- 1:13:12Speaker 5: One more time with the door, that's my face.
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: If she got to grab the edge of the doorway
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: and swing into the room, Yeah, that's a dead giveaways,
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: crazy swing.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Around all corners in the past by the fall.
- 1:13:31Speaker 7: If she pairs by the playground and just get them
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: monket balls.
- 1:13:34Speaker 13: Hell that girl talent?
- 1:13:37Speaker 7: Oh yeah, oh that girl coat.
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: Where's Bertie coming to you?
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: If she says some mong biles ain't got nothing on me.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: If she say that you're flexible coat?
- 1:13:56Speaker 8: All right?
- 1:13:56Speaker 5: T J in South Georgia.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: All right, Bertie?
- 1:14:00Speaker 7: Where is Birdie?
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: I wish we had time to do another one, but
- 1:14:06Speaker 5: I don't think we do squeeze it in. But all right,
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: here we go. From Marquita in Long Island says I'm
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: a part of a settlement that came from my dad's death.
- 1:14:17Speaker 5: I usually get small checks under one hundred dollars and
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: I deposit them into my personal account. This week's check
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: with seven hundred and eighty five dollars, my husband wants
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: me to deposit, deposit it in our savings. The money
- 1:14:29Speaker 5: is from a big lawsuit my mom filed after my
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: dad died. Is my husband entitled to any of it?
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Well, let me ask you something. Your daddy died and
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: the checks is normally one hundred.
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: Dollars under it.
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: Death, it's death, you know what.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: But to them, I'm really trying to figure out what
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: happened to him.
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: All right, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: My daddy died. We get a monthly check on the
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: hunted right after this.
- 1:15:09Speaker 9: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: All right, guys, So here's an interesting dilemma as soon
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: to be married couple doesn't drink alcohol at all and
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: they're annoyed to have to pay for an open bar
- 1:15:23Speaker 5: at their upcoming wedding. The bride to be vented about
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: it on x and she wrote, neither my partner nor
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: I drink. We don't care if other people do, but
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: we must pay for it question mark. She got mixed responses.
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: More commenters agreed with the bride that they didn't have
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: to have an open bar, but others said it's called
- 1:15:42Speaker 5: having a party. And not about the bride and groom's
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: personal preferences. So what should this couple do?
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: What should they This wedding is about the couple owned.
- 1:15:52Speaker 8: You don't.
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: It is her day, it is their marriage. You don't
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: owe in people, No damn party. It's a red ship.
- 1:16:01Speaker 6: They're they're they're the ones that's supposed to be getting gifts.
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: And if I got to get you drunk in order
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: for you to bring me a gift and put it
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: on to the gift table empty but the bar four see.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: How that looks?
- 1:16:13Speaker 5: Make it makes sense?
- 1:16:14Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:16:14Speaker 6: Yeah, they packed around the bar. And let me tell
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: you something, man, you don't have to do that. You're
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: not obligated to have an open box. People over react
- 1:16:25Speaker 6: at open bond.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: I didn't have no my wedding.
- 1:16:30Speaker 13: Sure didn't.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: No, I damn shopped it my friends, though I wasn't rich.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: You want to drink.
- 1:16:37Speaker 7: That cost way too much.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: No, we didn't have open bond. That's too much on people.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: I ain't never had a reception.
- 1:16:48Speaker 5: All right, guys, we'll have more of the Harvey Morning
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: Show coming up at thirty three minutes after we will
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: play around it. Would you rather right after this? You're
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: listening time, Guys for a round it would you rather?
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: Would you rather make love only on Saturdays? Only on Saturdays,
- 1:17:07Speaker 5: or every night at nine pm? Shark, that's that weird
- 1:17:11Speaker 5: night every night. Give me that Saturday only on Saturday. Okay,
- 1:17:16Speaker 5: give me that Saturday every night at nine.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: I'm going with.
- 1:17:22Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm going on. I can't do it any night
- 1:17:24Speaker 7: at nine.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: O'clock.
- 1:17:31Speaker 11: You have.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: That's they got new episodes starting tonight. I came back.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: They got new episodes right here.
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: Saturday it is, guys. Would you rather? Would you rather
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: moderate the September debate or would you rather be a
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: panelist Unfox?
- 1:17:53Speaker 8: Oh?
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Hey, I rather moderate? That'd be one Saturday. Hey man,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: when you answering the damn question? Anybody asked you that? Donald,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: I want to the question.
- 1:18:03Speaker 6: I want to be on Fox because everybody out, everybody,
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: they sit there and trade.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: The most ignorant so crazy lying state that line. But
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: but even you know, man, they've said something.
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: They said something about Madame Vice President one time that
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: was so negative towards women that even the women at
- 1:18:30Speaker 6: Fox went, wait.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: A minute, Yeah that was a little harsh.
- 1:18:38Speaker 6: Yeah, but see they know they know, man, and so
- 1:18:42Speaker 6: we're just hoping. Look, if we get out and vote,
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: we ain't gonna have this problem.
- 1:18:45Speaker 5: I'm telling you that's this.
- 1:18:47Speaker 6: Man, If we get out and vote, and you got
- 1:18:51Speaker 6: to pay attention to these new rules they got, your
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: I D must match up with one that's coordinated at
- 1:18:58Speaker 6: the thing. So we're gonna give out the website tomorrow
- 1:19:01Speaker 6: that you can double check. Starting right now, you can
- 1:19:05Speaker 6: go online and double check and call everybody. We'll have
- 1:19:08Speaker 6: this information for you tomorrow. What website to go to
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: where you can double check your voter registration to make
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: sure everything.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Coincides with what it needs to be.
- 1:19:19Speaker 6: And you can just have a passport, and you have
- 1:19:22Speaker 6: to have some type of legal government I D and all.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: You can have a driver's but it has got to
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: match up. They try and every day.
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, okay. Would you rather have the same undies
- 1:19:37Speaker 5: for one month or would you rather have the same
- 1:19:39Speaker 5: toothbrush for two years?
- 1:19:43Speaker 7: Man, that's a tough one, Yes it is.
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: I can't it can't beat them, bro, it can. I
- 1:19:49Speaker 4: pretty much think I've had the same pe check working
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: as long as they got.
- 1:20:04Speaker 11: Up.
- 1:20:11Speaker 6: I tell you right now, you can't even walk past
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: me if I got your draws on them for a month.
- 1:20:17Speaker 9: You're listening morning show.
- 1:20:20Speaker 5: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:20:22Speaker 5: day on this Friday. It's been a good interesting week. Yes, yep,
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: you know.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Hey, y'all.
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: Before I give you my closes remarks, let's uh, let's
- 1:20:37Speaker 6: get behind uh Vice President Kamala Harris. Let's give her
- 1:20:42Speaker 6: the full support. Let's give her the full measure of
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: our power at the polls. Because we have power at
- 1:20:50Speaker 6: the polls. Black people, stop thinking your vote don't count.
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: It does count. That's why everybody is lobbying for it.
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: They put money behind blacks for Trump. Even if Trump
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: ain't for blacks, He's always positioning blacks at himself behind
- 1:21:09Speaker 6: the rally. Those people are placed back there. Everybody is
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: placed in the background. They got to go find these
- 1:21:16Speaker 6: black people to put behind Trump because they're far and
- 1:21:19Speaker 6: few between.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: But they do that.
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: Listen to me, get behind this woman, because I'm telling
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: you right now, I sit around rich people all the time.
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: They are voting for Donald Trump because they are voting
- 1:21:35Speaker 6: for their pocket. They don't care about what you're going through.
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: They don't care about your Medicare because they don't use it.
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: They don't care about your social Security check because they
- 1:21:45Speaker 6: don't have one. They ain't putting no money in that
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: system in years. Because these people sign the front of
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: the check, not the back of the check. That's a
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: different person you're talking to.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: Listen to me. I have learned a lot from them,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: and they care about their money. First.
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: It's very few rich people that care about the common man. Now,
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: there are a lot of them. Now, I want you
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: to understand something. There are some gates out there, There
- 1:22:14Speaker 6: are some jeff Bezos. There are some people out there
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: who care about the common man. They give to common causes,
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: they give to black colleges, stuff like that. They actually care.
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: They have a heart for this. There are rich people
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: who care. There are rich people who understand that without
- 1:22:32Speaker 6: the common man, they couldn't be rich anyway. Who would
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: I be, who God has blessed tremendously, who God has
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: shown so much favor to.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: Who would I be to forget where I come from?
- 1:22:44Speaker 6: How could I forget the young men that don't have
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: fathers When I was fortunate enough to have mine all
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: the way until I was forty three. And on the
- 1:22:53Speaker 6: day I buried him, when I got on that plane afterwards,
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: I was crying so hard because I was thinking to myself,
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: many I could have got where I am because my
- 1:23:01Speaker 6: father died when I was famous. That's no way I
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: could have been who I am without that man. So
- 1:23:07Speaker 6: I began to think, how in the what do these
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: young men do who don't have no slick Harveys? What
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: do young men do that don't have Jesse Harvey?
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: What do they do?
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: How do they get there? And that's what started the
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: Steve Harvey minnering Camp. I bought a ranch in Texas
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: and dedicated to that. I bought another one in south
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: of Atlanta. I bought the rock ranch for them kids,
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: because I understood clearly without my father, I wouldn't be here. Listen, man,
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: there are some people who are well off. They care
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: about the common man. That's why we have the foundation.
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: That's why we give scholarships, That's why we pull for people.
- 1:23:49Speaker 6: That's why we care about young boys and young girls.
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: There are some, but I'm telling you right now, the
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: ones that are making contributions to Donald Trump's campaign, they
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: care about they pocket because they know that the moment
- 1:24:03Speaker 6: he gets in office, they know that he is going
- 1:24:06Speaker 6: to pass policies that is going to benefit them. You
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: all don't know it, man, but he did so much
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: for rich people as soon as he got in office,
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: and they all benefited the tax loopholes that they don't
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: tell y'all about.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: That they hid behind bills and stuff like that.
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: I'm telling you, man, they'll give a Democrat something, but
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: they'll hide another little thing in the bill that you
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: don't know nothing about. All these different propositions and everything.
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: Donald Trump man was never ever gonna make Mexico pay
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: for a wall, and he didn't. Donald Trump never ever
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: intended to increase the infrastructure in America, and he didn't.
- 1:24:48Speaker 6: Donald Trump never ever intended to build a wall, and
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: he didn't. You know why they can't build a wall,
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: y'all because if they build that wall and they stopped
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: the illegals for coming, then they money gonna change. Because
- 1:25:03Speaker 6: guess who picks the fruits at all these farms. Guess
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: who are the are the very skilled undocumented people who
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: work on these construction sites. Okay, I give you an example.
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: Do you know in California that you just have to
- 1:25:21Speaker 6: have a general contractor license to build a house. So
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: if you have the general contractor license, all you got
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: to do is get a skilled person to know how
- 1:25:29Speaker 6: to do roofing, that do plumbing, that have to do framing,
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: and they all work under your thing. Well, these are
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: rich people, and guess who working on them, Those people
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: that they trying to say they want to stop across
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: the border. Who do you think picks all these strawberries
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: and these fruits and all this stuff in these orchids
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: or orchards down in Florida and all like this. Who
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: do you think works at all of those Donald Trump
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: golf courses. I don't play golf on them. Before I
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: speak to them people. Hey now, Steve Harvey, Hey man,
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: how you doing very little English?
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: I know who they are. They don't care. Listen to
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: me Donald Trump.
- 1:26:04Speaker 6: Y'all can stop all this blacks for Trump's because Trump
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: ain't for no blacks. Trump Trump ain't for pole nobody, white, black, yellow, blue,
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: green or orange. He don't care. We have to get
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: to the poles. We have to show up. We gotta
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: be careful. The Southern evangelicals are voting for Trump simply
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: because he's anti abortion. But he's on anti abortionit he
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: done stopped all women's rights who and he put those
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: people in place on the Supreme Court y'all need to
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: be careful, man, This dude's a dictator. Get to the
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: polls and vote for Kamala Harris so we can continue
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: to live some freedom because you're gonna mess around and
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: he gonna make America great again, just like it used
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: to be. So now what was gonna be my clothes remarks?
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: Turned out to be that? Right there, we get into
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: the poles. I had enough of this foolishness. See y'all
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: of them all God willing. Hey, y'all do yourself a
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: favorite talk to God. He'd absolutely love to hear from me.
