- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back at it. Uh huh. I
- 2:03Speaker 1: shall well a good morning everybody. Y'are listening to the voice.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Come on dignon now one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show. I have something and it's so describes
- 2:17Speaker 1: how I was living. It's so captures the feeling that
- 2:24Speaker 1: I had about the beginning on the pathway of my dreams.
- 2:29Speaker 1: It's so describes how I felt when I was about
- 2:34Speaker 1: to attempt something. And I have some striking news. But
- 2:39Speaker 1: it describes often how I feel still today to a degree.
- 2:44Speaker 1: So let me tell you what that is. And I
- 2:46Speaker 1: know what's happened to amount of people. Here's an analogy
- 2:51Speaker 1: that I um. I've heard a couple of different ways,
- 2:57Speaker 1: but I've kind of, you know, fixed it around to
- 2:59Speaker 1: where I can drink it better. And I think it
- 3:03Speaker 1: fits my personality to describe it to people best this way.
- 3:08Speaker 1: You know, I was I was talking. I've talked often
- 3:12Speaker 1: about the urgency of doing something with your life, of
- 3:18Speaker 1: of getting started today, of stopping the procrastination and putting
- 3:22Speaker 1: it off, and waiting on all your ducks to line
- 3:25Speaker 1: up in a row, and waiting until the stars aligned themselves.
- 3:29Speaker 1: If if you ain't on such a thing, you're you're
- 3:31Speaker 1: you're never gonna get started. I don't really I don't
- 3:36Speaker 1: know too many people who can say that all the
- 3:38Speaker 1: ducks just lined up in a row. Things happen. Things
- 3:42Speaker 1: happen even when you get them lined up. One of
- 3:45Speaker 1: the ducks get out of line, or somebody knock over
- 3:48Speaker 1: the domino, or something happens. But here's here's, here's here's
- 3:52Speaker 1: here's the point I'm getting at. God has so many
- 3:58Speaker 1: blessings available to you, you who's listening. God has so
- 4:06Speaker 1: many blessings available to you from where you are right now.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I don't care what you've gotten yourself into or what
- 4:17Speaker 1: you've done. God has so many blessings that He can
- 4:22Speaker 1: send your way, but you have to do something. See
- 4:28Speaker 1: a lot of people just sit around and go Man,
- 4:30Speaker 1: I don't and something always happening to you. You're always
- 4:33Speaker 1: getting a break, You're always doing this, you always do Man,
- 4:36Speaker 1: don't nothing come my way. Listen to me. If nothing
- 4:40Speaker 1: ever comes your way, you know why that is. It's
- 4:43Speaker 1: because you're not doing anything. I promise you you're not. See.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Here's a deal. God has all these blessings he wants
- 4:51Speaker 1: to send you, but you got to give him something
- 4:54Speaker 1: to work with. Now, come on, you have to give
- 4:58Speaker 1: God something to work with. God will bless you. God
- 5:03Speaker 1: can touch people's hearts on your behalf, He can move
- 5:06Speaker 1: situations around for you. He can align the stars. He
- 5:10Speaker 1: can set the ducks up in the road. But align
- 5:13Speaker 1: the stars and move people around, and touch people's hearts
- 5:16Speaker 1: and set the ducks up in the road. For what
- 5:19Speaker 1: based on what have you put forth? Any effort? Have
- 5:24Speaker 1: you made a single step in any direction to do
- 5:27Speaker 1: the right thing or go the right way? That gives
- 5:30Speaker 1: him something to put his finger on. Come on, man,
- 5:35Speaker 1: God can only bless you according to your faith. If
- 5:40Speaker 1: you have a little bit of faith, give him that.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Let him work with that, he can do that. You know, man,
- 5:45Speaker 1: I didn't always start with these speeches you're hear in
- 5:48Speaker 1: the morning now. I ain't always had these. I grew
- 5:50Speaker 1: to these. I stumbled my way to these. I messed
- 5:55Speaker 1: up my way to these. Here, I got it wrong
- 5:59Speaker 1: so many times times to be able to sound like
- 6:01Speaker 1: I got some sense, I said it often. Failure is
- 6:06Speaker 1: a wonderful teacher. Do you know how many times I
- 6:09Speaker 1: have had to have failed to have what I have
- 6:12Speaker 1: in my head today. I'm telling you, man, it's a process.
- 6:18Speaker 1: People get mad at the process. You got to do
- 6:21Speaker 1: something to give God something to work with. He'll bless you.
- 6:26Speaker 1: But what you want me to bless if you ain't
- 6:27Speaker 1: putting forth any effort, any effort, if you just sit
- 6:32Speaker 1: down and start. I got a book coming out, I'm
- 6:35Speaker 1: telling you, man, that's going to really explain this thoroughly. Man,
- 6:39Speaker 1: Where you can get blessed from whoever you are in
- 6:41Speaker 1: your life, wherever your starting point is, wherever you find
- 6:45Speaker 1: yourself wound up you can get you can get it
- 6:48Speaker 1: back from. Now. I've done it, man, by the grace
- 6:52Speaker 1: of God, I've done it. I I got got over man.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I learned some things along the way. Because here's the deal.
- 6:58Speaker 1: As long as God keeps wake you up in the morning,
- 7:01Speaker 1: he ain't threw with you yet. When he's done, you're done.
- 7:06Speaker 1: But if God still has a plan for you you
- 7:08Speaker 1: wake up in the morning, He's still got some more
- 7:11Speaker 1: work for you to do. You wake up in the morning.
- 7:14Speaker 1: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 7:16Speaker 1: God wants from you, would love to have from you.
- 7:20Speaker 1: And he can work with you, man, if you just
- 7:22Speaker 1: walk towards him a little bit. So here's the deal.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I know it's hard for the average person to start
- 7:33Speaker 1: because the fear of the unknown is incredible. What if
- 7:36Speaker 1: I failed? What if I don't get picked? You know,
- 7:39Speaker 1: one of the hardest things I ever did was walking
- 7:42Speaker 1: in to quit my job. Oh man, let me tell
- 7:46Speaker 1: you about that day when I decided that I was
- 7:49Speaker 1: gonna be a full time comedian after winning an amateur
- 7:52Speaker 1: night one time October eight, nineteen Hilarity Ease Comedy Club,
- 8:01Speaker 1: kyle Hoga Falls, Ohio. I want amateur Night that night.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I went to work the next day and quit. Are
- 8:10Speaker 1: you kidding me? I made fifty dollars. The contest was
- 8:14Speaker 1: fifty dollars. The guy paid me fifty dollars to come
- 8:16Speaker 1: back the next week. To quit my job was very difficult.
- 8:20Speaker 1: And this is what it was like. Because I went
- 8:23Speaker 1: into quit. I told my boss who I was quitting.
- 8:26Speaker 1: He talked me out of it. I took my box.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I put all my stuff in my box. At my
- 8:31Speaker 1: little desk, I was selling these shorts. I put all
- 8:33Speaker 1: my stuff in the box, and I was going back
- 8:35Speaker 1: with it to my desk and I sat down in.
- 8:39Speaker 1: A dude named Russell Middlebrooks said, so you're just gonna
- 8:41Speaker 1: let that dude talk you out of it. I said, man,
- 8:45Speaker 1: but I just had these kids. Man, I'm struggling. Man,
- 8:48Speaker 1: I needed He's right. He said, hey, man, if you
- 8:52Speaker 1: don't do it nasty, when you're gonna do it, is
- 8:54Speaker 1: Russell Middlebrooks clean, you know how. So I turned around,
- 8:58Speaker 1: I walked back into the office. I didn't take my
- 9:00Speaker 1: box in there. I said, hey, man, I really appreciate
- 9:04Speaker 1: all the things you said, but I'm gonna go forward. Now.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Let me tell you what that was like, quitting your job,
- 9:12Speaker 1: following your dream, going forward despite all the nay says,
- 9:17Speaker 1: It's like stepping off a cliff. It's like actually just
- 9:22Speaker 1: walking off the edge of a cliff, hoping, hoping, now
- 9:30Speaker 1: not really knowing, but hoping. Hoping is the bad basis
- 9:37Speaker 1: of faith. I stepped off that cliff hoping that my
- 9:43Speaker 1: parachute would open and allow me to drift down. See.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I've never sky dived before, but I would imagine part
- 9:52Speaker 1: of the thrill. And I don't know this because I'm
- 9:54Speaker 1: not going to sky dive to find out. I think
- 9:57Speaker 1: part of the three for people is the the danger
- 10:01Speaker 1: part of throwing yourself out a plane, and how it
- 10:04Speaker 1: feels to be free falling, but the whole time they're
- 10:07Speaker 1: free falling, having this exhilarating, over the top moment. You
- 10:13Speaker 1: have got to believe, in your heart of hearts, you
- 10:16Speaker 1: have got the hope with everything in you that when
- 10:18Speaker 1: you pull this chord, the shoot opens or else this
- 10:22Speaker 1: ain't a good move at all. But you've packed your
- 10:26Speaker 1: shoot yourself, You've taken the lessons, so you go ahead
- 10:30Speaker 1: and you make the leap. Now, the only thing about
- 10:33Speaker 1: quitting your job and following your dream is you ain't
- 10:36Speaker 1: really been trained all that good for this, and you
- 10:38Speaker 1: aren't really You didn't packed your shoot, but you ain't
- 10:41Speaker 1: never opened it before. So I walked off this cliff.
- 10:45Speaker 1: That's what it was like. And you following your dream
- 10:47Speaker 1: is like you're walking off a cliff. Now let me
- 10:49Speaker 1: tell you something. Here's the part where people don't never
- 10:54Speaker 1: make the jump. They see somebody like myself who jumped
- 10:57Speaker 1: off the cliff, and the and and the past. Shoot
- 11:00Speaker 1: don't open right away. And I hit a couple of
- 11:02Speaker 1: rocks on the way down. I got my back cut
- 11:05Speaker 1: up pretty bad. I got my clothes ripped off. They
- 11:09Speaker 1: see that three years living in a car man, he
- 11:12Speaker 1: got his life toe down jumping off that cliff. I
- 11:15Speaker 1: ain't jumping off that cliff. But see what you don't
- 11:18Speaker 1: understand is you don't you don't know it. But eventually
- 11:23Speaker 1: the shoot will open, and I'm at the parachute opening
- 11:28Speaker 1: part of my life, man, where the shooting open and
- 11:31Speaker 1: I'm drifting and I'm able to go over to Paris,
- 11:35Speaker 1: gut my shoote over to Paris and glide. I've I've
- 11:39Speaker 1: glided over to Africa and seen what it looked like.
- 11:41Speaker 1: It's a slow ride down when the passhute finally opened
- 11:45Speaker 1: or and my back then heel too, and the cuts
- 11:48Speaker 1: that I had on me, I remember now I know
- 11:50Speaker 1: how to stay away from the edge. But the Paris
- 11:53Speaker 1: shute and opened, and I'm enjoying my life for the
- 11:56Speaker 1: first time. I'm gliding, but I got hit up against
- 11:59Speaker 1: the I can see more. I get a chance to
- 12:02Speaker 1: see more things. I get to glide and see more
- 12:05Speaker 1: parts of the world. I'm living my dream. The pass
- 12:08Speaker 1: shoote open. Your pass shoot is going open. But I'll
- 12:11Speaker 1: tell you one thing for shure, it will never open
- 12:14Speaker 1: if you don't step off that cliff. You got to
- 12:16Speaker 1: step off that cliff, got to get the pass shoote
- 12:19Speaker 1: open for you. But you got to jump, baby. That's
- 12:22Speaker 1: the hard part, ain't it not? Question is end of
- 12:24Speaker 1: this story right here today when you're jumping. You're listening Steve.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. Ladies and gentlemen, have your attention, please you.
- 12:41Speaker 1: And I did say it the correct way. Something is
- 12:44Speaker 1: about to go down live radio, unfiltered radio, the ball.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I'm talking about things like this hill that you don't
- 12:57Speaker 1: here on no one ilt ship. This is reality, ready,
- 13:04Speaker 1: oh ladies, legitimate. It had been good moaning. Everyone was
- 13:14Speaker 1: good morning everyone. That's all you know, nothing, just put
- 13:19Speaker 1: that tripping feeling pretty good to day. How y'all doing today? Good? Good,
- 13:24Speaker 1: really good, excellent, steve a really good. Yeah, grateful today. Yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 1: God is taking to another day. Man, my life got
- 13:35Speaker 1: upside Oh yeah, I thought you were singing though, never mind,
- 13:45Speaker 1: Oh my life got turned out upside down. But he's
- 13:48Speaker 1: talking about oh like it's a request, like because you
- 13:51Speaker 1: know what you need when people you know, Okay, I
- 13:55Speaker 1: thought you was gonna well we fresh Prince of Breast,
- 13:58Speaker 1: Fresh Prince of bel Air. What that song? You know?
- 14:02Speaker 1: Parents just don't understand when he said my life got
- 14:04Speaker 1: upside that's where my mind upside down. He said, my
- 14:09Speaker 1: life got upside. Y'all know, Gooden Whale. I don't know
- 14:12Speaker 1: that song. I'll come on good Whale, y'all know. I
- 14:17Speaker 1: mean I've heard it, but you know it's a classic. Yeah,
- 14:21Speaker 1: i'd have set up and learned the rap. Good all good,
- 14:27Speaker 1: nothing wrong with it. I think wrapping some of that
- 14:30Speaker 1: stuff is hot, but I ain't. I ain't memorized now
- 14:35Speaker 1: to think any rap songs. We don't need you to
- 14:40Speaker 1: wrap it, so let's move on sing to hear the music.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I like tupacs. How do you want it? I know
- 14:48Speaker 1: that one? Welcome back, it's too much. We thank you.

- 15:27Speaker 1: I do have vacations. And what does the surprise look
- 15:30Speaker 1: on your face because you take off? You know, like
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm talking to Tommy was the regular and it was
- 15:38Speaker 1: a Monday, you know down. Yeah, yeah, we have fun. Yes,
- 15:46Speaker 1: we were stupid. The whole time was great. Wow. Yeah,
- 15:52Speaker 1: you would have been proud because it went there. Well,
- 15:56Speaker 1: you know what. You know how last month we had
- 15:58Speaker 1: um little known Black History month facts, Black History facts, well,
- 16:04Speaker 1: yestery for the month of March. Go ahead, yeah, well
- 16:07Speaker 1: it is the month of March. So yesterday the nephew
- 16:12Speaker 1: gave us little known facts about his uncle Steve Harvey.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Really nobody lied about none of that. Okay, give me
- 16:22Speaker 1: an example. Oh, well, he told us. He told us
- 16:27Speaker 1: about the time that, um, your lips got stuck together.
- 16:31Speaker 1: He told us about that time. We didn't know you
- 16:33Speaker 1: never heard that, did you, Carla? We told us about that.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Did your lips or did your lift not get stuck together?
- 16:42Speaker 1: Back in Cleveland ten degrees below. Uh, you was outside
- 16:47Speaker 1: trying to blow a bubble with some with some gum
- 16:49Speaker 1: and your lips got stuck. They am my lying? By
- 16:52Speaker 1: any of this sounded really like the truth to me.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I mean you were there, he's in And then there
- 17:02Speaker 1: was a time of the astronaut underwear thing. You never
- 17:06Speaker 1: told us about that, Steve, did you never? Nineteen seventy eight?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Did you not go to Earth winning five concerts? Sat
- 17:17Speaker 1: on the third row, needed to go pee, but they
- 17:21Speaker 1: was finished sing your favorite song and you wouldn't leave.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Did you not pete right there on the third row
- 17:28Speaker 1: in your paint? Did you not do that? You lying? Tommy?
- 17:31Speaker 1: He was sitting there where asked not draw from that
- 17:38Speaker 1: point on? Come on, Astrott, you didn't. You didn't Donald's
- 17:48Speaker 1: cup tape to my die? Oh gosh, did you want
- 17:56Speaker 1: to miss your song? Was well? These were just little
- 18:03Speaker 1: known facts. We weren't there. You miss and you missed
- 18:05Speaker 1: righting wrong yesterday? That was a mess. What happened? Junior?
- 18:12Speaker 1: You're sick of I'm junior. He's not even saying anything.
- 18:19Speaker 1: His eyes are up in the ceiling right now. You're
- 18:22Speaker 1: calling himself hard Okay, so that's what you do when
- 18:27Speaker 1: you little known facts. Yeah, well we did it for
- 18:31Speaker 1: Black History Month. So march on, Yeah, marching in to
- 18:37Speaker 1: April and May. People don't know you enjoyed your day off?
- 18:47Speaker 1: No good whale out working? What were you doing? You
- 18:53Speaker 1: thought like I was sitting on chilling, Well you weren't here,
- 18:57Speaker 1: so what were you doing waiting? Hello? That was my microphone.
- 19:12Speaker 1: He doesn't want to say. He doesn't want to say,
- 19:14Speaker 1: well at that, but he didn't want to say. People,
- 19:21Speaker 1: but we're family. You could tell us, Oh, are you
- 19:29Speaker 1: trying to save it for something funny coming up? Oh?
- 19:33Speaker 1: Now I knew that would be the answer. Nothing funny
- 19:39Speaker 1: about that. All right, we'll be back. Think of something
- 19:45Speaker 1: funny because it's coming up next. We'll be back at
- 19:47Speaker 1: thirty four after the hour you're listening to the morning show.
- 19:54Speaker 1: All right, something funny, uh, coming up from the Fellas
- 19:59Speaker 1: And later on in the morning we'll be talking more
- 20:02Speaker 1: about this big northeaster storm. Nothing nothing funny about that. Yeah,
- 20:09Speaker 1: to all our people up there, man, y'all be smart. Yeah,
- 20:13Speaker 1: you know everybody has a different situation, whether it's getting
- 20:15Speaker 1: out to go to work, to do something. Just be smart, man,
- 20:20Speaker 1: be very smart, be careful. Schools close today too, yeahs man?
- 20:28Speaker 1: But alright, there have you been doing this time for
- 20:44Speaker 1: something funny? Well? I should have asked Tares for the
- 20:50Speaker 1: little Tommy story music because I think it's well as
- 20:55Speaker 1: you write about that man. So I had to do
- 20:58Speaker 1: something else because if he had a little tummy story music,
- 21:04Speaker 1: it would be just excellent. Chestnuts. Keep throwing this alley,
- 21:08Speaker 1: You keep throwing this alley like it's been the show up.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Pretend like you had the music. There you go. Why
- 21:20Speaker 1: don't you do a little shirtless story? She didn't even
- 21:24Speaker 1: he didn't known story, but I bet I would have
- 21:31Speaker 1: Boys and girls? Really, it's your head been a wild,
- 21:38Speaker 1: hadn't it? Yeah? Where you been? Well? I wasn't out
- 21:44Speaker 1: yesterday because I hadn't been to take kids. We know.
- 21:50Speaker 1: But it's all right, dude, everything is everything, you know what?
- 21:57Speaker 1: I think it's time for boys and girls. First of all,
- 22:03Speaker 1: let me say hello to Tommy high Tommy her Oh,
- 22:11Speaker 1: you ought to be a little more enthusiastic than that
- 22:15Speaker 1: little Tommy. Hello Tommy lucy attitude. That's the attit feel,
- 22:23Speaker 1: that's what that is. Because he don't know who coming
- 22:27Speaker 1: two minutes. He's scared. He's scared. Don't be scared, little Tommy.
- 22:34Speaker 1: It's all well, today is going to be a surprise,
- 22:41Speaker 1: boys and girl, because this ain't a little timmy story.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Oh today is a little shallish story. Oh no. A
- 22:56Speaker 1: little while ago, when she was just a baby, she
- 23:01Speaker 1: this was her first day at school, and they had
- 23:06Speaker 1: taken her down to the school and she had spent
- 23:09Speaker 1: all morning dressing up. She was in kindergarten, but little
- 23:14Speaker 1: Sherley wore a skin tight dress uh huh, and asked
- 23:21Speaker 1: her mama for toilet tissues so she could produce some
- 23:24Speaker 1: form of cleavage. Did Little Sherley put on it? I
- 23:31Speaker 1: don't know where she got him, but she sqloosed her
- 23:34Speaker 1: feet down into some little bitty bobby high and Little
- 23:42Speaker 1: Sherley went to school as a bobby dog, black Bobby
- 23:50Speaker 1: dial with caves and everything she didn't have. She was
- 23:58Speaker 1: just a little girl. But lord Jesus, she showed wounded them.
- 24:03Speaker 1: So she went down to the school. As soon as
- 24:06Speaker 1: she walked in, she busted out crying, and everybody said,
- 24:10Speaker 1: what's wrong Little Sherley? She said, I don't want to
- 24:13Speaker 1: go to school with only get the kids school. We're
- 24:18Speaker 1: white kids because I bull And that's when the little
- 24:24Speaker 1: black girl walked up to her and said, you not
- 24:26Speaker 1: know better than us, And that's what Shirley first made
- 24:29Speaker 1: the announcement. Oh yes, the hairline, am, And that's begin

- 31:46Speaker 1: it's not I bought. I bought the house from I'm
- 31:49Speaker 1: telling a look, I tell you what you need me

- 32:18Speaker 1: here what tiars there told me to tell you. Tear
- 32:20Speaker 1: them told me to tell you that that's is next.
- 32:24Speaker 1: You tied me from the Steve Harvard Morning Show. Troy

- 32:44Speaker 1: then I didn't put my pain so on boot song.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I'm waiting. I'm sitting right here in my living room
- 32:52Speaker 1: looking at the waiting for this. You all to pull
- 32:55Speaker 1: up because I don't gonna tell a five from your
- 32:59Speaker 1: man and we'll go back to week now. I don't
- 33:01Speaker 1: really got me fired up. I gotta ask you for
- 33:04Speaker 1: I know, man, what is the baddest And I'm talking
- 33:06Speaker 1: about the baddest radio show in the lane. You're listening
- 33:14Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. H Yeah, miss Anne
- 33:23Speaker 1: is off today, guys, so I'm gonna fill in for
- 33:27Speaker 1: her with the news A more easter. So I just
- 33:32Speaker 1: said miss Anna is off today because of this storm
- 33:36Speaker 1: I'm getting ready to talk about right now. Yeah, So
- 33:38Speaker 1: I'll feel in girl like I always do. The lovely
- 33:42Speaker 1: tity ms Shirley s, thank you, Steve, and North Easter
- 33:47Speaker 1: is dumping snow and pushing winds into the US East
- 33:51Speaker 1: Coast early today, the beginnings of a monster storm that
- 33:54Speaker 1: is placed thirty one million people under a blizzard warning.
- 33:58Speaker 1: So far, more than seve any six d U s
- 34:01Speaker 1: flights have been canceled, and thousands of schools have been
- 34:04Speaker 1: closed due to what could be an historic storm. Winter
- 34:07Speaker 1: storm warnings and watches have been hoisted over a region
- 34:10Speaker 1: stretching from North Virginia into Maine. Local and state authorities
- 34:14Speaker 1: warned residents to be prepared and to avoid unnecessary travel,
- 34:18Speaker 1: as whins in some areas could reach up to fifty
- 34:21Speaker 1: to sixty miles an hour, reducing visibility. Yeah, that's big,
- 34:26Speaker 1: reducing visibility to zero. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, New
- 34:30Speaker 1: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, and Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy
- 34:35Speaker 1: have all issued states of emergencies UH due to the
- 34:38Speaker 1: winter storm, and once the storm is all over, the
- 34:41Speaker 1: icy conditions and cold temperatures are expected to stay throughout
- 34:45Speaker 1: the weekend. As for potential federal response, President Trump says
- 34:50Speaker 1: FEMA is ready to respond. Trump said he is keeping
- 34:54Speaker 1: in close touch with FEMA and Homeland Security officials. White
- 34:57Speaker 1: House Press Secretary Sean Spicer says President Trump is engaged
- 35:01Speaker 1: in the response to the storm. Take a listen. He
- 35:04Speaker 1: has directed his Inner Government of fail staff to remain
- 35:07Speaker 1: in contact with governors and mayors in the path of
- 35:10Speaker 1: the storm. He has directed his Acting Femae Administrator to
- 35:13Speaker 1: lean forward and be prepared to help states should they
- 35:16Speaker 1: require federal assistance when they get there. All right, speaking
- 35:22Speaker 1: of health insurance. The Congressional Budget Office report, Yeah, speaking
- 35:28Speaker 1: of that, The Congressional Budget Office the CBO report on
- 35:31Speaker 1: the Republican plan to replace Obamacare is out, and depending
- 35:35Speaker 1: on who you ask, it's really really great or really
- 35:38Speaker 1: really bad. But more on the reaction in the second.
- 35:40Speaker 1: The report predicts fourteen million Americans will lose health insurance
- 35:45Speaker 1: coverage next year if the Republican healthcare bill becomes law,
- 35:49Speaker 1: and that the number of uninsured will grow to twenty
- 35:52Speaker 1: one million in two thousand, in two thousand twenty and
- 35:57Speaker 1: twenty four million by two thousand twenty six. Still, the
- 36:00Speaker 1: report projects that the GOP bill will reduce federal deficits
- 36:04Speaker 1: by three and thirty seven billion dollars between now and
- 36:08Speaker 1: Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer charges that the report says
- 36:13Speaker 1: see the concern. The upside is they're talking about the
- 36:18Speaker 1: deficit will be but the number of people dramatically with healthcare. Yes,
- 36:26Speaker 1: so this we go repeal and replace Obamacare is not
- 36:33Speaker 1: the great idea that they ran all these platforms on
- 36:37Speaker 1: every Republican that ran in all these secondary races, and
- 36:41Speaker 1: the president was about repeal and replace Obamacare. There was
- 36:46Speaker 1: so many good things about Obamacare. When you start taking
- 36:50Speaker 1: them out to save yourself your money, you're gonna hurt
- 36:53Speaker 1: too many people. How's Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi questioned how
- 36:58Speaker 1: Republicans in Congress can even look their constituents in the
- 37:02Speaker 1: eye with this replacement bill. Finally, White House plays down
- 37:06Speaker 1: the deadline and the wire tapping flap. The White House
- 37:08Speaker 1: Press Secretary Sean Spicer, he's been in the news a
- 37:11Speaker 1: lot lately. Yeah. He's quick tempered, isn't he. He's like
- 37:18Speaker 1: Steve he gets subset of the drop of a hat man. Anyways, Yeah,
- 37:24Speaker 1: it's over. I'm not talking to you. I took your
- 37:27Speaker 1: question next, alright anyway, Uh, The White House plays down
- 37:32Speaker 1: the deadline and the wire tapping flap. The White House
- 37:34Speaker 1: Press Secretary Sean Spicer is playing down a deadline in
- 37:37Speaker 1: the flap over President Trump's accusation that President Obama ordered
- 37:41Speaker 1: wire tapping at Trump Tower last fall. In his daily briefing,
- 37:45Speaker 1: Spicer called a House Intelligence Committee letter to the Justice
- 37:49Speaker 1: Department a request to produce any evidence about Trump's accusation
- 37:54Speaker 1: by yesterday. The deadline was yesterday. Spicer sided no evidence
- 37:58Speaker 1: about Trump's accusation, but that there were numerous reports from
- 38:01Speaker 1: a variety of outlets about some sort of surveillance in
- 38:04Speaker 1: the presidential campaign. He also argued that Trump's tweets speak
- 38:09Speaker 1: for themselves. The Obama administration has flatly denied Trump's recent allegation.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Are they trying to double Are they trying to bag down? Man?
- 38:19Speaker 1: A bug they tapped on and they know that. They
- 38:24Speaker 1: are brilliant at deflecting. Yeah, and and distracting and diverting.
- 38:30Speaker 1: This dude, what's his name? Sessor Spice? Spicer, Spicer got it?
- 38:38Speaker 1: Trump on your team? Dead dude right there, he's con
- 38:44Speaker 1: be meeting to it. He ride a dime, man, I
- 38:48Speaker 1: don't know what he getting paid, but he ride or die. Yeah.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I think I would go, And I think I would
- 38:55Speaker 1: go with Kelly and Conway Steve. I think I would
- 38:58Speaker 1: go with her because she talked about how you know,
- 39:01Speaker 1: they're alternative ways to surveil people, you know, to spy
- 39:05Speaker 1: on people. She said, certainly through their television sets, any
- 39:08Speaker 1: number of different ways, and micro microwaves that turned into
- 39:12Speaker 1: cameras well, she said, crazy and stuff like. She said, well,
- 39:17Speaker 1: you know we have alternative truths. Yes, yes, yeah, that
- 39:23Speaker 1: would be a lie in anyone else's book, right, absolutely, yeah,
- 39:28Speaker 1: spicy man, that's my dude, like that, just man, dude,
- 39:33Speaker 1: I'll be going, I'm really impressed though. He's the best
- 39:37Speaker 1: I've ever seen. Did you did you see him? He
- 39:40Speaker 1: was at the Apple Store, I think, and this lady
- 39:42Speaker 1: came up to him, uh and said, you know you're
- 39:45Speaker 1: working for a fascist, don't you you know? She was
- 39:47Speaker 1: all in his face. He was calm and cool. He
- 39:50Speaker 1: was calm and cool. He didn't go in on her.
- 39:53Speaker 1: He must have known the cameras were watching. Yeah, she
- 39:55Speaker 1: was in his face. Right now. I'm number and I
- 40:01Speaker 1: would like an extra long phone charger please at the
- 40:06Speaker 1: Apple store because yeah, yeah, And can I see that
- 40:10Speaker 1: new seven plus? Do you have it in gold? Or
- 40:14Speaker 1: is it because I don't want white? All right? The
- 40:19Speaker 1: butterfly waiting in the wings with a butterfly blog. We'll
- 40:21Speaker 1: be back at eighteen after the hour you're listening show.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Is it a surprise? What who's next? Yeah? Okay, okay, hey, hey,
- 40:53Speaker 1: why not call me on a lazy ladies and gentlemen,
- 41:07Speaker 1: the butter flutter. I look at you, Eugene out the

- 41:55Speaker 1: that ain't like grilling his head, head boybecue with or whatever.
- 41:58Speaker 1: That's like your grill and your mouth. And as I say,
- 42:06Speaker 1: all of them, they're trying to get in me out
- 42:09Speaker 1: fling flies be trying to reach out to your board
- 42:12Speaker 1: and the little yah, I don't live your chill. You
- 42:15Speaker 1: know what I say to me, I don't know trying

- 42:33Speaker 1: women want to look back and see a greel in
- 42:35Speaker 1: their life. What I'm trying to like idea they don't
- 42:41Speaker 1: want nobody with Yeah, past that, I don't know how
- 42:51Speaker 1: looks so calling f Yeah. So what you're trying to
- 42:57Speaker 1: tell you in the end, Oh baby, you ain't you?
- 43:00Speaker 1: I don't want nobody with no greed or ever. Well

- 43:06Speaker 1: now old Neil. Yeah. Man, Also look what you have
- 43:18Speaker 1: with g No. But I'm just saying if if I

- 45:53Speaker 1: is it the store? Did you call? It's the same
- 45:58Speaker 1: name as the store. What is really storm calling it?
- 46:03Speaker 1: What are they calling the storm? And northeaster nor easter
- 46:09Speaker 1: named Stella? That's the actual name of the storm. But
- 46:13Speaker 1: we know what it's not. It's not Nostrom or north

- 47:00Speaker 1: Damn that run out there have snowflake eating contest? Who'm
- 47:09Speaker 1: catching most snow in their mouth? You know, if you
- 47:11Speaker 1: open your mouth long time, and you let it accumulate
- 47:14Speaker 1: instead of in melting right away. If you even open
- 47:18Speaker 1: long enough in your mouth, get cool, you can collect
- 47:20Speaker 1: snow in your mouth. We just have snow eating contest. Yeah,
- 47:25Speaker 1: but dudes would always cheat because they scooped down and
- 47:28Speaker 1: try to slide on them in their mouth just to
- 47:30Speaker 1: win the contest. Because whoever warm, we don't have to
- 47:33Speaker 1: chip in environment pack of now and lady, so snow
- 47:36Speaker 1: eating contests, you know, yeah, stay outside and play in it.
- 47:43Speaker 1: You're off today. Celebrate that snow. Get yourself a food
- 47:47Speaker 1: tray and going out there and slide down the hill.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Get yourself some healthy garbage bags and sit on them
- 47:54Speaker 1: and get pushed down, slide down the hill in garbage
- 47:57Speaker 1: can leads. I'm telling you stuff that pop people made
- 48:01Speaker 1: for sleds, cardboard boxes. Sleds. How you think they're cardboard boxes?
- 48:09Speaker 1: That's how you see them. But no, there were sleds. Man,
- 48:12Speaker 1: We did all that. We should take out wagons and
- 48:16Speaker 1: take the wheels, axles and brackets off and just sitting

- 50:00Speaker 1: off river trying. Yeah, that's a little this rico. Man,
- 50:06Speaker 1: How are you doing? I'm I'm one of your neighbors
- 50:07Speaker 1: on the next street over. How you doing? I'm doing?

- 50:21Speaker 1: make you aware of it. Well, what's going on? Uh?
- 50:24Speaker 1: It seemed like, um, well, you know the trash man
- 50:27Speaker 1: run on on Tuesday, okay and Saturday right now. The
- 50:33Speaker 1: problem is that that that that a lot of people,
- 50:36Speaker 1: I guess since the holiday just pass, you know a
- 50:37Speaker 1: lot of people got their stuff out on the on
- 50:40Speaker 1: the curve already right right now. The problem is that
- 50:45Speaker 1: that that they're saying, man, is that yo, yo, trash
- 50:48Speaker 1: is actually really really foul and smelling and smelling pretty bad.
- 50:52Speaker 1: And we wanted to call you, man and see if
- 50:54Speaker 1: you do not hold on, hold on, hold on, You
- 50:57Speaker 1: say you calling me because you said trash. Well yeah,
- 51:01Speaker 1: they say, yours is the one that's really speaking, man.
- 51:04Speaker 1: And if you could actually maybe put it in, put
- 51:06Speaker 1: it back in the in the in the garage and
- 51:07Speaker 1: tip tuesday, you know, h trash and no garage. That's
- 51:11Speaker 1: why I put it outside. I didn't have enough room
- 51:13Speaker 1: in a garage. Okay, what and who is everybody saying
- 51:17Speaker 1: my trash saying? Hey, listen, I'm I'm not saying. You

- 51:40Speaker 1: gonna go back, and I'm not gonna go back. Don't
- 51:42Speaker 1: give what you're gonna do. I'm telling you where I
- 51:45Speaker 1: paid that I'm telling me to do over here. Okay, Well, listen, man,
- 51:49Speaker 1: aren't you concerned that your trash is thinking and reading
- 51:52Speaker 1: through the whole neighborhood. I don't give a damn. If
- 51:54Speaker 1: who smell my chances they got a problem with it,
- 51:57Speaker 1: tell them come take it out still the end and
- 51:59Speaker 1: staying out there. Okay, Well that's the problem. The problem
- 52:02Speaker 1: is that you took it out, and you took it
- 52:03Speaker 1: out too early. You shouldn't have put us out till
- 52:06Speaker 1: Tuesday morning. And now who inside it? If I put
- 52:10Speaker 1: it out there and saying that desterday, come get it.
- 52:13Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go back and forth with you many

- 52:28Speaker 1: it's just a couple of holes in it and some
- 52:30Speaker 1: food or something else that got out. I don't know
- 52:32Speaker 1: if one of the roads or dog got into what
- 52:34Speaker 1: the case may be. But you know, we need to
- 52:37Speaker 1: try to get your trash in the backyard. My chass
- 52:39Speaker 1: ain't going no down. Well, and how come you the
- 52:42Speaker 1: one you? How come I next? The names ain't called?
- 52:46Speaker 1: How come ya around the corner and you called? Who
- 52:49Speaker 1: put you up to this? Everybody's smelling it? I was
- 52:52Speaker 1: just fortunate enough to get your phone number. I said, well, look,
- 52:54Speaker 1: I just gone and call it myself. I tell you
- 52:56Speaker 1: that you and you my phone not take what I'm
- 53:00Speaker 1: thinking that there ain't going to okay, what we'll listen,
- 53:04Speaker 1: let's swerve. This is what we decide on in case

- 53:09Speaker 1: I just come over there and put the trash in
- 53:11Speaker 1: your backyard and just tunesa the morning and tune the morning,
- 53:14Speaker 1: I'll come back over there and take it out that way.

- 56:01Speaker 1: gonna do. I'm gonna tell you my damn name when
- 56:03Speaker 1: I get over that. My name is Nephew Timing from
- 56:06Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked by
- 56:09Speaker 1: your cousin or Reese. Thank you so out of here. Hey, man,
- 56:21Speaker 1: I gotta ask you something, dog, what is what is
- 56:23Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 56:27Speaker 1: the land. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Jill with This boy's popular all over again. I love him?
- 56:43Speaker 1: All right, Let's go buckle up and hold on tight.
- 56:46Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry letter,
- 56:49Speaker 1: all right. Subject I had him first. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:55Speaker 1: I'm a young widow in my late twenties. I recently
- 56:58Speaker 1: started dating a childhood friend after we discovered we had
- 57:01Speaker 1: feelings for each other, or so. I thought. Everything seemed
- 57:05Speaker 1: great in the beginning, but six months in his behavior
- 57:09Speaker 1: started changing and I felt neglected when I tried to
- 57:12Speaker 1: talk to him. About it. He brushed it off. He
- 57:15Speaker 1: led me to believe that I was imagining it, But
- 57:18Speaker 1: as a female, I knew that something wasn't right. So
- 57:21Speaker 1: I began snooping around, and to my surprise, I found
- 57:25Speaker 1: out that he was dating another female. What made it
- 57:28Speaker 1: worse is that it's my cousin that he's been dating. Yes,
- 57:33Speaker 1: my very own flesh and blood cousin. I was very
- 57:38Speaker 1: hurt by this and immediately broke it off with him,
- 57:40Speaker 1: confronted my cousin and cut them both off. But now
- 57:44Speaker 1: here's a problem. Even though we're no longer in a relationship,
- 57:48Speaker 1: we are still sleeping together. I can't lie. The intimacy
- 57:52Speaker 1: we share is more than great. Am I wrong for
- 57:56Speaker 1: sleeping with him? Even though he is still sleeping with
- 57:58Speaker 1: my cousin? Cousin has done this to me in the past.
- 58:02Speaker 1: She has made a pass it every guy I've dated,
- 58:05Speaker 1: and either they told me about it or I found
- 58:08Speaker 1: out on my own. What should I do? Should I
- 58:10Speaker 1: fight for him or let him go? After all? I
- 58:13Speaker 1: had him first? Well so much? You had him first?
- 58:16Speaker 1: I mean, is he really worth all this fighting with
- 58:18Speaker 1: your cousin and all that? So what just because you
- 58:21Speaker 1: had him first. That means nothing in this situation. I say,
- 58:24Speaker 1: let it go. Please let it go. Since you want
- 58:28Speaker 1: to know, should you let it go? Yes? Uh, you're
- 58:31Speaker 1: you're here's the deal. You're not getting back at your
- 58:33Speaker 1: cousin by sleeping with him. That that's not what you're doing.
- 58:37Speaker 1: He's getting the best of both worlds by sleeping with
- 58:40Speaker 1: the both of you. This is to his advantage. Okay, nephew, Uh,
- 58:45Speaker 1: this is to his advantage. I mean you really you
- 58:48Speaker 1: say you cut them off, but you really really need
- 58:50Speaker 1: to distance yourself from this ratchet cousin of yours. She's
- 58:53Speaker 1: always trying to take your man. Not a good look. Okay. Uh,
- 58:57Speaker 1: they're gonna stop doing what they're doing when you stop.
- 59:01Speaker 1: You got to stop allowing it. I mean it can't
- 59:03Speaker 1: be that good that you just can't stop. I mean,
- 59:06Speaker 1: there are other people out here. Stop this relationship. Okay,
- 59:10Speaker 1: get ahold of yourself, get move away, Get your own man,
- 59:14Speaker 1: that you would get your own man, that your cousin
- 59:16Speaker 1: won't be trying to hook up with all the time.
- 59:19Speaker 1: And so what you had him first, what you know
- 59:22Speaker 1: you had him first, So that doesn't mean you you
- 59:24Speaker 1: lay claim to him. It just means that, like I said,
- 59:26Speaker 1: he's getting the best of both of you. Steve. Oh,
- 59:30Speaker 1: this has nothing to do with the letter. Letter surely,
- 59:33Speaker 1: just a brief moment. I'd like to come in on
- 59:35Speaker 1: one statement you made. Then I get to the letter.
- 59:38Speaker 1: It can't be that good. I've been idiots. Really there
- 59:51Speaker 1: what you've had several men? I said it, it really
- 59:55Speaker 1: is that good. It is really been really traumatic seventy relationships.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I'll be like yourself, whatever hands have been, I've been
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: achieved of that. Man. I sometimes I can't even get
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: away from it. He were the best of I know, baby,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: But you know it's over baby for myself, yes, you know,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: it's like we got sliding border life. Now back in
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: the day put in, I ain't got sixty mold here.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: I know that I will. He went with that voice.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: So I just want to put that out there, just
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: to give myself some kudos. All right, on with the letter. Uh,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: First of all, here's the line in the letter that
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: threw drew the most attention to me. I am a
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: young widow, yeah yeah, in her twenties. What happened to him?
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: What are you saying? What are you implying? What we
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: need to know what happened to her husband. Yeah, we
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: need to Well, I don't know why you don't you know,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: put that in this letter and they don't give no information.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Because now I'm scared of you. You didn't say at
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: killer kay accident, you know, disease, something which leads me
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: to believe something traumatic has happened, that she killed him,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: something traumatic has happened. I need more information because I
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: really can't do your letter justice without this information, because
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I need to know who I'm talking to. But anyway,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: let's just as soon you killed him that you killed him.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: He led me to believe. Uh, But for six months
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: it was great. Then his behavior started changing. He felt
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: neglected in his relationship. When I tried to talk to
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: him about it, he brushed it off. Now I'm reading
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: this letter with the intent that the reason she is
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: a young widow is because something has happened to her man.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Now when she says, when I tried to talk about it,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: he brushed it off, Now he is her personal thought.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: He don't know what happened to the other dude tried
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: to brush me. Keep on one more time. He don't
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: brush happen to the other dude that brushed me off
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: keep on him. So whenever I talking to lower voice,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: that's her talking to herself. Yeah. When I tried to
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: talk to him, he led me to believe that I
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: was imagining it. But it was a female. Go ahead,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: he sid U been here thinking I'm crazy, I'll show
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: you crazy. I knew that something wasn't right, so I
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: began snooping around, and to my surprise, it really wasn't
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: a surprise. That's why I started snoop. You snoop, because
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: you suspect something, and once I suspect you, it's damn
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: them over for you. That he was dating another female.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: It would have been better if it was a man,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: because then I would have felt as though I couldn't
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: compete because you's going on in your life in that.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: But now that I know it's another female, it's own. Now.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: What made it worse is that it was my cousin
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: that he's been dating. Yes, my very old flesh and blood.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Speaking of flesh and blue, just about to cost your ass.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Flesh and blue, what you and huh is about to
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: become flesh and we gotta go, will be. You're listening
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, we're in the middle
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: of this strawberry letter the subject I had him first.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: It's written by a young young widow, and it's part
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: two of Steve's response is coming up. And Steve is
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: actually two people in his response to this letter. So
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: make sure you pay as the young widow. But I'm
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: responding to myself as the widow. Yeah, I think killed her, Steve.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Let's get back to this letter. I had heard a
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: young woman who was a young widow, which surely did
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: not mention, which I can't really seem to escape as
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: I read through this letter, because she never really informed us,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: as a young widow in her late twenties, what happened
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: to her man. I'm assuming that something went wrong. Now
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: you're assumed that she killed him, just say that, okay,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: since she didn't bring it up in your letter. I'm
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: reading the letter now from a person who would do
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: something to you really bad. So let's get it on.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: She found out that a man was messing around with
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: her cousin. So as I read this letter, I will
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: read it to you. And when I stopped and going
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: to lord registers like I'm whispering, I am her commenting
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: to myself. So let us begin with this part right here.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: So I began snooping around, and to my surprise, I
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: found out that he was dating another female. Another female. Huh.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Had it been a male, I would have been a
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: little bit more accepting because I would not know how
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: to compete. But since it's a female, that's your ass.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: What made it worse is that it's my cousin that
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: he's been dating. Yes, my very own flesh and blood cousin. Yeah,
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: that's what this is gonna come down to. Also, some
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: flesh and some blood. Watch me, watch me. I was
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: very hurt by this and immediately broke it off with him,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: which is what I usually do. I act like I
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: don't want you know, before I killed, I confronted my
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: cousin and I cut them both off. But now he
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: is the problem. Even though we are no longer in
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: a relationship, we are still sleeping together. Yeah that's how
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I lure to me, and I get them comfortable like
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: it's okay. I keep on breaking him off until finally
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: I go off. I can't lie. The intimacy we share
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: is more than great. Am I wrong for sleeping with him?
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Even though he's still sleeping with my cousin? I don't
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: really want nobody to answer this question because it's really
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: a rhetorical question, because I don't give a damn. I'm
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: about to make my move. My cousin has done is
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: to me in the past for this hellth for is
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: a goden to it. She has made a pass at
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: every guy I dated, and either they told me about
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: it or I found out on my own. This helper
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: than done this for the last. Yeah, this is your
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: last because now I'm a man collector and you a
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: man eater, and so now you didn't eat my last
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: man because I'm going to eat both y'alls as it's
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: already we already got I'm already been widowed once. I
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: ain't got no problem with being widowed twice. Okay, Should
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I fight for him or let it go? After all?
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: I had him first. This letter ain't nothing, but in
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: case forensics try to tie me to this, this letter
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: is what I call an alibi. Ladies and gentlemen, prepare
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: for later on this year from whatever this city. This
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: letter is written for these three people to be on
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: the late Newsnote two years later, this woman will be
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: on forty you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Thank you,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Thank you Jr. All right, coming up, Miss Anne is
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: out today due to this big winter storm in the northeast,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: so I'll be filling in for her and uh taking
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: a look at the headlines when we come back. What
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: I mean, well, Ms Ann is out due to the storm,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: our news director, Yes, due to this big winter storms.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: You're going to update us this hour. The storm is
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: affecting us all our family right here right Snow is
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: falling in d c up through Philly and New York City.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: As of this morning, thirty one million people are under
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: a blizzard warning, thirty one million or under a winter
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: storm morning, and nine million are under a winter weather advisory.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: The heaviest snow is expected to hit between now and
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: nine am this morning and could turn into sleep later.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Oh that sleep though. That's according to the CNN Weather Center. Boston, Baltimore, Philly,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: and New York City school districts will be closed today,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: along with many government offices. Airlines have canceled over seventies
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: six hundred US flights scheduled from Monday, UH Tuesday and Wednesday.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: That's according to um UH. The the website flight aware
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: dot com. New York City could get up to twenty,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I said twenty two zero inches of snow. Mayor Bill
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: de Blasio said with coastal flooding and wind gus as
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: high as forty to fifty miles per hour also forecast,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: but with winter air filtering into the area, winter UH
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: weather models predict that snowfall could be somewhere around ten
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: to fourteen inches. So not quite twenty but ten to
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: fourteen is a whole lot. That's a whole that's a
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: lot of snow. Reminds me of growing up in Chicago.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: State of emergencies have been declared in Maryland, Virginia, New York,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Philadelphia, like I said, could see
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: ten inches of snow, causing dangerous travel conditions, wind us
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: up to fifty five miles per hour in many areas.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Now parts of Massachusetts could see twenty four inches or more.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: That's a lot. Similarly powerful winds. This is according to
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: the governor up there, Charlie Baker. Coastal areas could see
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: hurricane force winds UH and a storm surge as high
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: as two to three feet is also possible. Boston could
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: see as many as a twelve inches of snow for
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: that metro region. That is a lot, a lot of
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: snow in Connecticut statewide travel band was scheduled to go
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: into a Tuesday, that's today, earlier this morning. Wherever you
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: are at sunrise today, this is according to the Governor,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Daniel Daniel malloy, expect to remain there with throughout the
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: remainder of the storm and into tonight. Okay, So wherever
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: you are, just stay there and stay there until tonight. Okay,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: this is a lot. Yeah, the White House is ready.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: President Trump says FEMA is ready to respond. He said
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: he's keeping in close touch with FEMA and Homeland Security officials.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: So there you go. That's a lot. We'll be back
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: at forty eight after the hour. Stay home. You're listening
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: to all right, it's a big storm. We've been talking
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: about it all morning going on in the northeast. Okay,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I mean snow everything. If you are closed in and
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: you you inside behind the half six because that's that's
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: that's the best thing to do when you closed in
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: like this and can't do nothing now announcements, right, Yeah,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: this best time to make babies, y'all. Don't think so wow,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: increase the population. I mean, we're right here, just all
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: us right in here, close together like this right might
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: as well coming up next. Steve has been in a
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: lot of snow. This ain't logical to y'all. Well, it's
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: a fox doing it. They don't need but they don't
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: need a snowstorm to do it either. It's sometimes you
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: need that. Sometimes you need to be closed in. It
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: can't go nowhere else, so you can catch up, just
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: catch up time. Well, the governors have been telling people
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: to stay in, stay home and have sex. They're not
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: telling them everything. Okay, that's saying a full statement, say
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: all of it. So coming up next, call us please
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: and ask Steve your blizzard related questions. Okay, if you
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: have some questions about this big snowstorm, what should you do?
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Get on the phones eight seven seven sexual blizzard question,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: No sexual blizzard. Let's get sexy Niphi in the blizzard
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: baby first. Yea, all right, it's snowing in the north. Yes,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: it is northeast, big northeaster up there, and people want
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: to know what should they do Steve, So they called you,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: of course, all knowing eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: is the phone number. Let's go to line too and
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: talk to Robert out of Illinois, Robert, Steve, Yeah, what's
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: going on? Man? This is unbelievable. Do you know how
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: long I've been trying to get you on the phone? Man?
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: I know That's why I said, Man, y'all get Robert.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Come on, man, I just want to say, how do you?
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Surely and Tommy, because I wanted to say this too
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: before I get into the store. Y'all got to be
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: the stupidest people in the world. Y'all is crazy stupidity.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: It wouldn't be the Steve Hardy morning. Thank you, sir.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: I gotta keep it real, just like that, in that order,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: and and get into the snow. See, this is what
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I would do, see you, Shirley and Tommy. You just
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: cut you cut, you cut you a path with the
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: shell straight on down. But what you do? You put
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: some salt out there, Okay, Get you some bike, you
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: rat your bike. Get you a nice piece of plot wood.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Get you about maybe two buckets because you gotta lot
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: in the plywood, right, Okay, you gotta make sure the
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: plot wood is good. Get you some bike, and y'all
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: just go hall tail right off that ramp and just
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: dive right in the snow. Face first, Just just go
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: and die. Just dive right in and let the bike go,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: because you're going to just let them go. Just go
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: as fast as you first though, surely first be able
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: to take that. I don't know something wrong, Robert, She's
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: gonna mess her eyes up anywhere. Face first, It ain't
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: face You hate you a lot right now in the snow,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: the super fun I love it, Robert. Okay, all right,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: all right, thank you, Robert. Let's go to line three.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Let's I know it wasn't a question. It was just
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: like just telling what's yeah, yeah, let's go to line
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Let's go to line three and talk to Duvell out
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: of Delaware. Did you say, do Vell? Duvel? Dull? Yeah,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: what's going on? Mrs Steve Shirley, temmy girl, how y'all
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: doing this morning? What's what's your question? My question is
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: when your boss tells you the slide in the work,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: when you got bald tired, what do you tell them? Like,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: I don't understand that. If I got bald tires and
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: I can't afford those tires right now, just know out here,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: tell your boss to kiss your ball behind. You can't
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: do that, you know what I'm saying, well, you're gonna
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: kill yourself. Yeah, you rather be ding. I'll tell your
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: boss to kiss your ball behind. I'm gonna go with
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: ball behind every time. That's because you're rich. I wish
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: I had that kind of money or else I would
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: do that. But yeah, sorry, I'm a struggling college soud
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: to get my own masters right now and I'll be
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: finishing back. I got congratulations by hey man, man, what's
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: you may in? Uh? Information system technology with a concentration
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: in geographic maps systems and stuff? Wait, locating devices and
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: things like that. Yes, Steve said it was rock. Hey
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: can you can you? Can you put your other UH
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: out like a GPS system with Steve's voice? Can you
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: do that? Yes? I can't. I don't make money right now. Yeah, definitely,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: And I'm talking wrong, damn. Wait if you want to,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do an alternative route. Yeah, cracking up
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: too early? He's up too tired. I'm tired to man,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: but I just get up going anyhow. I mean, you know,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: my father taught me to vaim. Yeah, what you say,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: I said, you know what my father taught me? No,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: what are you talking? He said, son? When you feel
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: like you can't do no more. And you at the
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: end and you just know you can't do no more.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Just do some more. I used to think my daddy
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: was crazy. When you think you can't do no more
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: and you're sitting there realizing you can't do no more, say, son,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: just do some more. Watch what happens. Great advice. See,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: because my dad is no longer here. So just to
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: hear that from me, that's that's definitely just a blessing.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: And I know where it's coming from. So that's what
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: I'm talking to. Yeah, exactly exactly because mine talked to
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: me all the time, boy, and they were doing me
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: about this Trump thing. You know, my daddy told me,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: he say, Son, what they're doing, He said, they only
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: they keep for typing. Do what God tell you to
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: do and keep stepping. Hold your head up, get your
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: chest out. Wow Wow, Thank you, Javell appreciate that. Coming
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: up a story about short men. It's for you, Tommy.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: We'll be back. We got this story. You're listening to
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, uh, Steve, we didn't
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: get to our last caller. Um. People want to know
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: about the snowstorm situation. So I know I'm asking you
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: other stuff. Yeah, yeah, alright, let's go. Let's give line
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: five Corey a chance out of Buffalo, New York court. Corey. Uh,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Buffalo always gets snow what you need some Blizzard tips
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: on what you need. Core Well, this is this is
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: more how you First of all, good morning everybody. Now
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: this is more or less help for all um as
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: a retired Blizard, Uh Blizzard player, I just wanted to
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: sell a Northeast retiring and retire. I'm married now, so
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: I'm selling. I'm selling kids. This is for you my
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: many time because I got you right here. Um, I'm
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: selling kits that because because all these players can't get
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: stuck at the site piece house doing the blizzards. That's
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: one of the number one that's who you can. He
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: only like that much. No, now this no, I don't know.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: See this, this is what you gotta do. You got
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: my kids, Donna have snowshoes, a backpack, some blankets and
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: advisors and some bus tokens because you got to get
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: home no matter what doing these times in this lizard. Yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: play around if you want to want. I like this
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: by snowshoes, backpack. What's it in the backpack? What's in
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: the backpack, Uncle Steve. What's in the backpack is, uh,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: you're essentials because you gotta get home. You gotta you
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: gotta have your Irish spring soap because you can't smell
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: like the flower. So that they got a day house. Yeah,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: got to come in there, man, old spice. Yeah, come
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: in there, smelling like light like if you want to,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: you're gonna have. Yeah, I love you. If you won't too,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: don't come in there. If you won't to, I say,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: have a small flash with liquor in it and throw
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: that on yourself. But you But the one thing is
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: you don't have nothing new, no new drawns, none of that,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: because you gotta smell like you gotta smell like work
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: the day before. Yeah, I gotta smell like you've been
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: walking alone. Way. Yeah, there you go. So you get
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: to that's the trick. You get off the bus stop
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: two stops early, and you gotta get that sweat going
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: in that snow, trotting in the snow. Yea, and hear
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: the other key fall in it. You got the fall
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: right before you get in the house, right at the Yeah, geok,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: the dobell. Don't use your cue? Why not use your key? Cory,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: so you can fall at the door, puts the doorbell
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: so she could see your face in the snow when
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: she come open the door. Most simply maybe what's wrong.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: It's a psychological thing. Oh hey. And then when she
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: rolled it over, and listen to me, when she rolled
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: you over, the first words out your mouth is I
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: made it. The first first word, the first word out
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: your mother is this This boy right here, he didn't
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: done it. Look, this is me clapping for the woman
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: who finally reeled you in, Cory, because you were to pay.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: You got a blizzard player. That's right there. God, don't
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: come outside. You can't see your car. Know what your
