- 1:55Speaker 2: Come.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Come out.
- 1:59Speaker 1: You think that.
- 2:02Speaker 5: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:05Speaker 5: the voice, Come on, dig me now, one and all.
- 2:08Speaker 5: Its Steve Harvey got a radio show particular me this morning.
- 2:15Speaker 5: Steve Harvey got a radio show filled with nothing but
- 2:19Speaker 5: joy and hope about it too. You know, it's a
- 2:22Speaker 5: great thing to be able to wake up in the
- 2:23Speaker 5: morning with peace in your heart and joy. Peace and
- 2:27Speaker 5: joy is immeasurable. It has a value attached to it,
- 2:32Speaker 5: and I have no idea what it is. It's invaluable.
- 2:36Speaker 5: It is worth so much more than any amount of
- 2:39Speaker 5: money you can make. Peace and joy. I have not
- 2:43Speaker 5: always had that.
- 2:45Speaker 6: I've not always been a peaceful person or a person
- 2:50Speaker 6: who lived his life and enjoy spirit. It took an
- 2:54Speaker 6: arrival at this moment. Some people arrive sooner than others.
- 3:00Speaker 6: I wish I had arrived at this point sooner, but
- 3:04Speaker 6: I think it was necessary for me to learn a
- 3:06Speaker 6: few things too. That's the amazing thing I've learned about
- 3:10Speaker 6: life is that instead of reflecting on your past incidences
- 3:17Speaker 6: and calling them failures, instead of focusing on the negative
- 3:21Speaker 6: and calling them bad times, I look at them now
- 3:27Speaker 6: as experiences. I had to have those experiences that were negative,
- 3:32Speaker 6: that were good, positive, wrong, evil. I had to have
- 3:37Speaker 6: all those experiences to become to shape who we are today.
- 3:44Speaker 7: We all have to have them.
- 3:46Speaker 6: If you look back at all the negative experiences you've had,
- 3:50Speaker 6: all the things that you called failures, all the businesses
- 3:54Speaker 6: I started that went under, all of the jobs I
- 3:57Speaker 6: had that I was fired from, all the shows that
- 4:00Speaker 6: were canceled, all of the times I thought I was
- 4:04Speaker 6: going to get something happened in my way and turned
- 4:06Speaker 6: out I didn't get it at all. When you look
- 4:08Speaker 6: at all of it, all of it, hopefully along the way,
- 4:13Speaker 6: what you have done as a person is you've taken
- 4:15Speaker 6: those negatives and those failures and you've used them for
- 4:20Speaker 6: what they actually are. They are experiences, and they've now
- 4:25Speaker 6: created in you an experienced person, and you know that
- 4:31Speaker 6: is worth something that's then it becomes a positive. But
- 4:36Speaker 6: what too many people do is they let the negative
- 4:39Speaker 6: things that have happened in their life. They allow the
- 4:42Speaker 6: failures that have happened in them lives never to manifest
- 4:45Speaker 6: themselves as experiences. And you sit up there and you
- 4:49Speaker 6: dwell on it, and you dwell on it until you
- 4:52Speaker 6: have this woe is me attitude. Stop looking at it
- 4:55Speaker 6: like that, y'all. You go through things in order to
- 4:59Speaker 6: become the person that you are today. I'll tell you
- 5:02Speaker 6: who you sometimes have to sit down and talk to.
- 5:04Speaker 6: Sometimes you ought to sit down to an inmate that
- 5:07Speaker 6: really gets it, an inmate that says, man, I've actually
- 5:11Speaker 6: heard inmates say it to me and write to me,
- 5:14Speaker 6: and they've said things like, man, come into prison.
- 5:18Speaker 7: Save my life. Now, those of you have never got
- 5:20Speaker 7: how can he say a thing like that?
- 5:22Speaker 6: But some men, no, Man, I was so far out
- 5:25Speaker 6: there that if I'd have stayed out there, I wouldn't
- 5:28Speaker 6: even be here today. This actually allowed me to stop,
- 5:31Speaker 6: spend some time with myself and learn some things about me.
- 5:35Speaker 7: Now does that happen for everybody?
- 5:36Speaker 4: Like that?
- 5:37Speaker 6: And a but here's a person who was taking an
- 5:40Speaker 6: experience that could be considered a failure or negative and
- 5:43Speaker 6: turn it into a positive and using it to enrich
- 5:46Speaker 6: their lives. You can do it no matter what your
- 5:49Speaker 6: set of circumstances is. I recommend to everybody that you
- 5:52Speaker 6: try changing your outlook in order to change your outcome.
- 5:57Speaker 6: Everything that happens to you that's negative or you can
- 5:59Speaker 6: say the failure their experiences. You've got to go through
- 6:02Speaker 6: these things in order to have the knowledge that you
- 6:04Speaker 6: have today. So I wish that I had come to
- 6:08Speaker 6: this arrival that I'm in now, this place of peace
- 6:11Speaker 6: and joy, But then guess what, I will not know
- 6:14Speaker 6: what I know. I couldnot share some of the things
- 6:17Speaker 6: that I'm able to share if I had not gone
- 6:20Speaker 6: through some of them. And sometimes that's the purpose of them.
- 6:23Speaker 6: It's to teach you a lesson because you know, God
- 6:25Speaker 6: has a plan for you. He really really does, and
- 6:28Speaker 6: eventually he can use you no matter how old you are,
- 6:32Speaker 6: and he can use you no matter how young you are.
- 6:34Speaker 6: If you just say, okay, I'm ready to hear your plan.
- 6:38Speaker 6: I've tried mine, mine ain't worked out. What's your plan
- 6:41Speaker 6: for me?
- 6:41Speaker 1: God? What do you want me to do?
- 6:44Speaker 6: That's why I say every day Steve Harready got radio show, y'all, cause, man,
- 6:48Speaker 6: I ain't see it coming. I didn't see that coming.
- 6:51Speaker 6: I ain't see this book coming.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I ain't.
- 6:53Speaker 6: I ain't seen half of the amazing things that are
- 6:55Speaker 6: happened to me. I didn't plan them. I was sitting there, man,
- 7:00Speaker 6: asking God for some direction. And then I got smart
- 7:03Speaker 6: enough to stay watchful, be a hard worker. Now because faithful,
- 7:07Speaker 6: our works is there and it came. And I'll remind
- 7:10Speaker 6: you of this. God has given all of you a gift.
- 7:13Speaker 6: Every last one of you listening has a gift. God
- 7:16Speaker 6: has never created a soul that he did not provide
- 7:19Speaker 6: a gift to. God gives everyone a gift, and a
- 7:23Speaker 6: gift is not just singing, rapping entertainment. The richer gifts
- 7:28Speaker 6: are much more than that. Teachers are gifted people who
- 7:31Speaker 6: really have the gift of sharing information. That's a gift,
- 7:36Speaker 6: you know, and in that you can become great.
- 7:40Speaker 8: You know, a.
- 7:43Speaker 6: Lot of people think that successful and greatness is the
- 7:46Speaker 6: same thing. Cornell West said it at my daughter's graduation.
- 7:50Speaker 6: He was a spokesperson and he said something so pointed.
- 7:52Speaker 6: He said, don't ever confuse success with greatness. The two
- 7:57Speaker 6: have nothing to do with each other. See determined success
- 8:01Speaker 6: about money and fame and all this here, But greatness.
- 8:04Speaker 6: Greatness ain't got nothing to do with your money. It
- 8:07Speaker 6: ain't got nothing to do with your fame. It's how
- 8:09Speaker 6: you conduct your life. It's how meaningful and significant you
- 8:13Speaker 6: become in your community, at your church, on your job,
- 8:17Speaker 6: to the cub Scout unit that you run, to the
- 8:20Speaker 6: little girl's lives that you change, that that little center
- 8:23Speaker 6: in the hood where you just one place of hope
- 8:26Speaker 6: to so many people and they come back. And I
- 8:29Speaker 6: used the example of Lou Dazzler who passed away in
- 8:31Speaker 6: La who had the Boys and Girls Challenges Club out
- 8:34Speaker 6: in La. And he wasn't a rich man at all,
- 8:37Speaker 6: and if you walk by him, you wouldn't even know
- 8:39Speaker 6: who he was. But if you look at all the
- 8:41Speaker 6: people who have gone on to become politicians, who have
- 8:45Speaker 6: gone on to become CEOs, who have gone on to
- 8:47Speaker 6: become athletes, that have passed through this man's small building
- 8:51Speaker 6: in the hood in La, he was great. Trust me, man,
- 8:56Speaker 6: prayt changes things I said at all the time. But
- 8:59Speaker 6: when you see people becomes successful or great that somebody
- 9:02Speaker 6: praying somewhere may not even beat them, maybe it's they Mama.
- 9:06Speaker 6: You know, I think of Tiger Woods and all the
- 9:07Speaker 6: greatness he's accomplished. You know, they always talk about his
- 9:11Speaker 6: father and all this. Here somebody somewhere praying for Tiger Woods.
- 9:15Speaker 6: I got cash money riding on that Tiger Woods. Mama
- 9:19Speaker 6: is a praying woman or something.
- 9:20Speaker 1: My mother was.
- 9:21Speaker 6: She prayed me into this place because she used to
- 9:24Speaker 6: call me all the time praying for you. Boy, and
- 9:27Speaker 6: prayer changes things. It really does. Try it today. It
- 9:31Speaker 6: can change you. It has changed millions of people. Open
- 9:34Speaker 6: up yourself to the greatness that's in you because God
- 9:37Speaker 6: has giving you a gift matter fact that you ain't
- 9:40Speaker 6: using it. Who fought you think that is? I'm just
- 9:43Speaker 6: telling you you got one, and if you start praying
- 9:46Speaker 6: about it, it'll manifest itself and you can become one
- 9:50Speaker 6: or two things, successful or great or both.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You can make the decision. Today you're listening to the
- 9:59Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Moore Show, Ladies.
- 10:04Speaker 6: And gentlemen, boys and girls, let me have your undivided attention, please.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Steve Harvey Morning Show is alive and well. But just
- 10:12Speaker 6: as a reminder, so are you alive and well, Still here,
- 10:17Speaker 6: still blessed, still highly favored, The reason I know you
- 10:21Speaker 6: favorite is because you can hear me. And the reason
- 10:24Speaker 6: you can hear me is because God either got you
- 10:27Speaker 6: through your work night and you're going home or you
- 10:30Speaker 6: just woke up. God is responsible for both of those things.
- 10:33Speaker 6: All good things come from Heaven above man, Thank you
- 10:37Speaker 6: Lord for this day. I appreciate you. We're on the
- 10:40Speaker 6: ride now. Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry calling for

- 11:25Speaker 6: Well, you know this one's gonna be a little bit
- 11:26Speaker 6: different because of the recent tragedy.
- 11:30Speaker 1: As far as she lost her father.
- 11:32Speaker 6: She's trying to help her mother, who would have technically
- 11:35Speaker 6: been married to this man for sixty five years, so
- 11:40Speaker 6: that's a big loss. And then her cousin who passed.
- 11:45Speaker 6: The lady that's his wife that's left, has four small children.
- 11:51Speaker 6: So they buried him on Monday, buried her dad on Thursday.
- 11:54Speaker 6: So she's in Memphis trying to help out as much
- 11:58Speaker 6: as she can. So we don't have plans this year.
- 12:01Speaker 1: So yeah, that's marriage life and because life, keep on life.
- 12:08Speaker 1: And you hear.
- 12:11Speaker 6: You can set up in here and make the best
- 12:13Speaker 6: of plans of all plans in life. Go okay, cool,
- 12:16Speaker 6: you can do that, But deal with this right quick.
- 12:21Speaker 1: What about your nephew. You got anniversary coming up this month?
- 12:25Speaker 10: Mine was the sixteenth, Yeah, he had Oh that's right,
- 12:32Speaker 10: was sixteen. We were scheduled for Africa until my wife

- 12:45Speaker 2: It was.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Cape Town. She had a whole layout, man, she had
- 12:52Speaker 1: she had us rolling for a good two weeks.
- 12:55Speaker 7: Have you ever been to Cape Town?
- 12:57Speaker 4: I have not.
- 12:58Speaker 6: It's beautiful, man, he wow, there's some scenery down there, man,

- 13:09Speaker 7: You can walk to the top.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Well, I tell you it is. The new movement for
- 13:13Speaker 1: black women is Congo. See. Yes, they came to America.

- 14:45Speaker 1: the nephew, nephew, what you got for us?
- 14:47Speaker 10: Surely I got the sick and shutting in? The sick
- 14:52Speaker 10: and shutting A lot of y'all don't remember. Back in
- 14:55Speaker 10: the day at the church, they used to have a
- 14:56Speaker 10: whole list. It was the sick and shutting in list.
- 14:59Speaker 10: I don't know if y'all remember that. Yes, and I
- 15:02Speaker 10: read the ladies. Yeah, and I remember the lady name
- 15:06Speaker 10: that stuck in my head, Sister Eula May step Tone,
- 15:09Speaker 10: Sister Eula Mas. I never met miss Ula May Steptoe,
- 15:12Speaker 10: but she was always on the program. That's the seek
- 15:15Speaker 10: and shut in list. Yeah, you little mad Steptoe. That's right.
- 15:22Speaker 10: But this is a little different. This was a little different.
- 15:23Speaker 10: So y'all take a listen right here, this is shut in.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Let's go catch do so.
- 15:29Speaker 4: I'm trying to speak it. You got him that I'm doing.
- 15:36Speaker 4: I ain't doing too good. You been over here praying
- 15:38Speaker 4: for my wife again, right right, right, yes, sir, you
- 15:41Speaker 4: have came over here three times in one week. My
- 15:45Speaker 4: wife had already went through the operation and all that
- 15:48Speaker 4: she's gonna be fine. I don't need you over a
- 15:50Speaker 4: praying three times a week, because, honestly, I think it's
- 15:53Speaker 4: something else on your mind when you come over here
- 15:55Speaker 4: praying for my wife. I ain't stupid, brother.
- 15:58Speaker 8: You kind of hold it, brother, this buddy, this is
- 16:02Speaker 8: well your wife was on the second shot. Ain't list
- 16:06Speaker 8: I rever asked you to come by. Rever ain't requested
- 16:09Speaker 8: that I come by.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Okay, he ain't requested for you to bring your black
- 16:13Speaker 4: to my house for no three times in one week, man,
- 16:16Speaker 4: So you can cut that down with me.
- 16:18Speaker 8: You can cut that hold it, brother. I came with
- 16:23Speaker 8: sister Georgia the first time. The second time I came
- 16:27Speaker 8: by myself because she was able to come by, and
- 16:30Speaker 8: I only stayed fifteen minutes each time. So what's the problem.
- 16:34Speaker 4: Because I already know what you what you're doing. I
- 16:36Speaker 4: know you're trying to holler at my wife. I ain't
- 16:38Speaker 4: stuo hop at your wife.
- 16:39Speaker 8: I had a wife. Why would I happen to your wife?
- 16:42Speaker 4: She's probably already already know what you already know what
- 16:45Speaker 4: you're doing. Man, you up in there other house my wife?
- 16:48Speaker 4: Why wind up? Why nobody at the house. I already
- 16:50Speaker 4: know what you do. Let me tell you something. Keep
- 16:52Speaker 4: your black away from my house. If you want to
- 16:55Speaker 4: pray for my wife.
- 16:58Speaker 8: I'm w wait minute, wait, Manue, you can't talk to
- 17:02Speaker 8: nobot that.
- 17:04Speaker 4: That's what you're gonna now, Brother.
- 17:06Speaker 8: It ain't gonna be none of that. And ain't gonna
- 17:08Speaker 8: be none of that. You're talking to the wrong brother,
- 17:10Speaker 8: and I okay. Now, First of all, you're not gonna
- 17:13Speaker 8: disrespect me and curse me out. Okay, that's not even
- 17:17Speaker 8: the way brothers should be talking to brother. Second of all,
- 17:20Speaker 8: if there's any laying on the hands, it's gonna be
- 17:23Speaker 8: my hands laying on you. Okay.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Late, I know I'm trying my wife. If I find
- 17:29Speaker 4: out what you know you mess around with my wife,
- 17:32Speaker 4: it's gonna.
- 17:33Speaker 8: Be I'm crazy trying to be crazy.
- 17:36Speaker 4: I'm just letting you talk. I'm gonna say it one
- 17:38Speaker 4: more time. Keep your black off around my You know, first.
- 17:41Speaker 8: Of all, I told you once again, you can't be
- 17:44Speaker 8: talking to me like that. Now I'm trying to be
- 17:48Speaker 8: cool about the situation, because I know you may be
- 17:50Speaker 8: just upset. Okay, I can appreciate that. Okay, I have
- 17:54Speaker 8: a wife, and I'll be upset if somebody's coming out.
- 17:57Speaker 4: There my rom and you out with your wife. I
- 18:01Speaker 4: do spend my time with my wife. I do you
- 18:03Speaker 4: know I'm saying, come buy your house. Maybe I need
- 18:07Speaker 4: to come on your house and high let your wife.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Well you welcome to maybe come and come lay something
- 18:13Speaker 4: over there on huh God? Now, sure, no ways trying
- 18:16Speaker 4: to do it.
- 18:17Speaker 8: Hold older, one man, older one minute. I'll tell you
- 18:21Speaker 8: before you're being disrespectful. Now, that was a very idiotic
- 18:25Speaker 8: statement for you to make.
- 18:27Speaker 4: Okay, that's what's gonna happen. If I catch your black
- 18:30Speaker 4: rift my house again, I'm gonna play this man, and
- 18:33Speaker 4: then I'm getting on the phone with you, you, your
- 18:35Speaker 4: pastor any more of them, because if anybody come by
- 18:38Speaker 4: my house again and I ain't there, I'm kicking your
- 18:41Speaker 4: black That's.
- 18:42Speaker 8: A promise, you know, that's it. Look at brother, if
- 18:47Speaker 8: that's gonna be any whooping gone, I'll be kicking. Yep.
- 18:50Speaker 8: I'm gonna lay my hands on you and I'm gonna
- 18:52Speaker 8: give you a good sanctified whooping, and then I'm gonna
- 18:56Speaker 8: pray for you. I'm gonna pray to heal you by
- 18:59Speaker 8: this foot I'm gonna put up, okay, because I I've
- 19:02Speaker 8: had it with you, you know. And I only went
- 19:04Speaker 8: by to visit your wife because I was asked to
- 19:07Speaker 8: go visit your wife. Now that was a problem. You
- 19:09Speaker 8: should have called the pastor. Okay, but you're not gonna
- 19:12Speaker 8: disrespect me my wife to church on the phone.
- 19:14Speaker 6: Life.
- 19:14Speaker 8: If you want to do somebody, you can meet me
- 19:17Speaker 8: any place. Well. As a matter of fact, I can.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Go anywhere I want in this town.
- 19:22Speaker 8: If I be at your house talking to your wife,
- 19:24Speaker 8: if the past asks me to go, I'm gonna be there.
- 19:26Speaker 4: Okay. You you know, you just you know.

- 24:21Speaker 1: How do you what do you do?
- 24:23Speaker 7: She has no husband?

- 24:45Speaker 6: It's going to lead to letters like this, And when

- 25:01Speaker 6: we still closed okay, we'll get on closed inn.
- 25:05Speaker 7: Wow.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Okay, moving on to a Jen and Charlotte.
- 25:09Speaker 11: Jen writes, my husband is a pilot and he brought
- 25:12Speaker 11: home two flight attendants because their hotel didn't have air conditioning.
- 25:16Speaker 11: I had to get the guest room ready and order food.
- 25:19Speaker 11: I told him that he should have asked me first.
- 25:21Speaker 11: He said, he doesn't have to, is he right?
- 25:24Speaker 2: What?
- 25:25Speaker 4: What?
- 25:25Speaker 2: What have you gone?
- 25:27Speaker 8: Right?
- 25:28Speaker 4: What?
- 25:28Speaker 1: Don't you bring two women to the house.

- 25:33Speaker 1: Wife'll tell you what.
- 25:36Speaker 7: I'll tell you what. Keep on doing that.
- 25:38Speaker 6: See how long you ain't gonna have to ask nobody
- 25:40Speaker 6: In a minute, but I ain't gonna have no house
- 25:43Speaker 6: to take him to either. Yeah, that's kind of just
- 25:47Speaker 6: br that's so stupid. I ain't got to ask you nothing.
- 25:50Speaker 7: No, wow, Wow?
- 25:53Speaker 6: You bring two women to the house because the hotel
- 25:57Speaker 6: they put you all in didn't have air condition Then
- 26:00Speaker 6: you call the airline and they put them in another
- 26:04Speaker 6: hotel that do got.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Air Yeah, or at the very least, call your wife
- 26:10Speaker 1: and ask her is it okay?
- 26:13Speaker 10: At the very leg this foolishness, man, I mean, come on,
- 26:18Speaker 10: I'm bringing your behind at that hot.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Hotel and I'm his wife is a nice person though,
- 26:24Speaker 1: because she she got it ready for them. Have wanted
- 26:29Speaker 1: to go? Ain't nobody going over your did you have?
- 26:32Speaker 6: I'm gonna get you all some fans and ye get
- 26:35Speaker 6: in that movie? Still they finished some old bar.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Not a man.
- 26:42Speaker 1: It's no way, it's careful.
- 26:46Speaker 7: And then he mad talking about he ain't got to.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Ask me nothing disrespectful. Yeah, bru it's her house.
- 26:56Speaker 9: Well, like you say, Steve Reversus, she can bring two
- 26:59Speaker 9: male co works from her job.
- 27:01Speaker 6: The condition, oky, bron, Why don't you just get him
- 27:05Speaker 6: another hotel room?
- 27:07Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the easier fix, y'all. Come on to my house.
- 27:13Speaker 7: We got plenty of rooms, y'all.
- 27:15Speaker 11: Obviously he doesn't respect his wife. I mean that's pretty obvious.
- 27:19Speaker 11: All right, We're moving on to Yvette in Kalama Zoo.
- 27:23Speaker 11: If that writes, my boyfriend and I got arrested for
- 27:25Speaker 11: having sex in a park and he blames me.
- 27:29Speaker 1: It was around two thirty am, so I didn't think
- 27:32Speaker 1: anyone was out but us I. We only got fine,
- 27:36Speaker 1: So it's not so bad.
- 27:38Speaker 11: Are there better ways to keep our sex life spontaneous
- 27:41Speaker 11: and fun?
- 27:43Speaker 7: I paid him fine.
- 27:44Speaker 1: I'll be cool with all this here, yeal seven four.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I couldn't do it. I'd be thinking aunts all kinds
- 27:54Speaker 1: of stuff.
- 27:55Speaker 7: No, no, no, no, they in the car.
- 28:00Speaker 1: On the hood or something in a park. Okay you know.
- 28:07Speaker 9: Yeah, so you're saying you weren't the fine. If you
- 28:12Speaker 9: wouldn't kid in the call, it didn't matter.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Hey, let's pull over right in, go and knock this. Yes,
- 28:21Speaker 1: ma'am right away? All right?
- 28:27Speaker 11: Last one, Steve, last one clo. This is from Teddy
- 28:31Speaker 11: in Dallas. Teddy writes, I found out that my mom
- 28:34Speaker 11: is smoking weed now hm to help her with her
- 28:39Speaker 11: menopause symptoms.
- 28:40Speaker 4: I was.
- 28:43Speaker 2: You didn't know.
- 28:47Speaker 11: Genius anyway, she says, I would prefer to get it
- 28:55Speaker 11: for her, so I know it's good weed. My dad
- 28:58Speaker 11: said we're going to hell for doing drugs, as he
- 29:01Speaker 11: calls it, should.
- 29:02Speaker 1: I supply the weed for my mom?
- 29:06Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 29:06Speaker 1: Are your mom?
- 29:07Speaker 4: What is that?
- 29:08Speaker 1: Sounds crazy?
- 29:09Speaker 4: Yes?
- 29:10Speaker 1: Be a good son? Yeah? What is the word they
- 29:13Speaker 1: call for your weed? Connect?
- 29:15Speaker 4: What is that?
- 29:15Speaker 1: Your plug? Yeah?
- 29:20Speaker 7: You're gonna be your mama plug dog?
- 29:23Speaker 1: Wait, how did I know that?
- 29:25Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 29:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 29:30Speaker 7: You sitting up in the hill. Hey, mama, what you
- 29:33Speaker 7: need it? Because I'm finna go, I'm finna make a run.
- 29:35Speaker 6: You need anything, yes, baby, bring me some of that
- 29:39Speaker 6: U sess sussperillia.
- 29:42Speaker 7: Mama, don't worry about that. I'll get it.
- 29:46Speaker 1: You know.
- 29:47Speaker 6: Anybody what any of that doctor dre weed? You know, chronic, chronic.
- 29:55Speaker 6: Let me try that one.
- 29:58Speaker 1: And Fatima.
- 30:01Speaker 7: I heard they used to have something in her. I
- 30:04Speaker 7: mean it was called a blue magic.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Mama. That's heroin. Boy, You're always take it too far,
- 30:13Speaker 1: too far. I was watching the movie with Denzel In
- 30:16Speaker 1: an American Gangster.
- 30:18Speaker 7: That's why that wasn't weed no more.
- 30:22Speaker 1: All Right, we gotta go. We did it hair green magic.
- 30:28Speaker 1: At the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment
- 30:30Speaker 1: news for you right after this. You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 30:40Speaker 11: Jay Z grew his hair from a fade to locks
- 30:42Speaker 11: as a symbol of personal growth and rejecting image pressure.
- 30:46Speaker 11: Take a listen as Beyonce narrated the video, and she
- 30:49Speaker 11: said her husband uses sacred hair products her ownline.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 30:53Speaker 13: Her daughter was about five and she wasn't feeling very
- 30:57Speaker 13: confident about her hair at that time. When old her
- 31:00Speaker 13: father that it inspired Jay to grow out his hair.
- 31:04Speaker 13: We really wanted her to love and embrace every inch
- 31:07Speaker 13: of her gorgeous curls. It also inspired Blue to be
- 31:10Speaker 13: the voice of the award winning book.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Hair Look by Matthew A.
- 31:15Speaker 13: Cherry, as well as songs like Formation, Baby Hair and
- 31:19Speaker 13: Afros and Brownskin Girl and who would have thunk all
- 31:24Speaker 13: of this healthy hair could grow beyond that low cut
- 31:27Speaker 13: season with a deep waves what you're doing? The five
- 31:36Speaker 13: year old Blue had no idea that her father's hair
- 31:38Speaker 13: had texture like hers.
- 31:41Speaker 11: Wow, God, was that his big afro from the Yeah
- 31:47Speaker 11: he had a lot of hair, a lot of big oldfro.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:51Speaker 1: So, Steve, what do you think about Why do you
- 31:55Speaker 1: think people talk about celebrity kids?
- 31:58Speaker 6: You know, I mean, and you know how I really
- 32:03Speaker 6: feel about it. You don't want to know, But people
- 32:06Speaker 6: talk about how can I say this without sounding well, well,
- 32:13Speaker 6: let me put it in an encouraging way. If you
- 32:16Speaker 6: want to better yourself, this is what I've learned. Stop
- 32:23Speaker 6: talking about other people. Stop talking about other people. Celebrities, celebrities, kids,
- 32:30Speaker 6: all this, Yeah, don't worry about that. The next level
- 32:33Speaker 6: up is you have to start discussing events and then,
- 32:38Speaker 6: if you really want to level up and get to
- 32:40Speaker 6: the top tier where you're trying to go.
- 32:42Speaker 7: The next level is to talk about ideas.
- 32:45Speaker 6: Ok you know, if you talk about people you going nowhere,
- 32:48Speaker 6: that's them, that's they life, that's their business, all of that.
- 32:52Speaker 6: But if you start discussing events like what's happening in
- 32:56Speaker 6: the world today, stay in current, staying relevant, you can
- 32:59Speaker 6: begin to make change. But if you start talking about ideas,
- 33:06Speaker 6: you become innovative. And that's what I tell people. So
- 33:10Speaker 6: that's the encouraging way to say that.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Okay, you know that I could think of, you know, because.
- 33:15Speaker 6: I try to be encouraging now instead of you know,
- 33:17Speaker 6: I could be funny and say, you know what you're
- 33:20Speaker 6: talking about somebody baby for or what and somebody have
- 33:23Speaker 6: while we discussing jay z hah. But if it causes
- 33:27Speaker 6: you to think about an idea, then that's cool, you know.
- 33:32Speaker 1: And it is cool, Steve, because words are very powerful
- 33:35Speaker 1: and I like the change, you know, make it positive.
- 33:39Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, because we have to start, y'all. We
- 33:42Speaker 6: got to start thinking different, man, because they trying to
- 33:46Speaker 6: run us up out. They trying to run us up
- 33:48Speaker 6: out of here. This administration, this Project twenty twenty five,
- 33:52Speaker 6: everything is geared to get it back to the way
- 33:55Speaker 6: it was. That whole thing about make America great again. Well,
- 33:58Speaker 6: now you see what they talking about. They thought America
- 34:01Speaker 6: was great again. So when we didn't have voting rights,
- 34:03Speaker 6: they thought America was great again. When we didn't have
- 34:06Speaker 6: affirmative action, they thought America was great again. When they
- 34:09Speaker 6: didn't have to care about your diversity, inclusion, equity, none
- 34:13Speaker 6: of that. They that's what they thought. They thought it
- 34:16Speaker 6: was good when they could tell women what to do
- 34:17Speaker 6: with their bodies. That's when they thought America was great.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Yeah, to deal with instead of taking each other down
- 34:27Speaker 1: all the time. Yeah.
- 34:28Speaker 6: See, it was great when slavery wasn't history. It was
- 34:31Speaker 6: better for them when it was current.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Hello, yeah, hello, yeah, there you go, there you go.
- 34:37Speaker 7: You see what I'm saying.
- 34:39Speaker 6: So they want to get rid of slave history, but
- 34:41Speaker 6: they don't want to get rid of none of the
- 34:44Speaker 6: remnants that slavery calls exactly.
- 34:47Speaker 7: So you know, we got to be more diligent with
- 34:49Speaker 7: where we are.
- 34:50Speaker 6: So it didn't mean to sound because I don't want
- 34:53Speaker 6: to sound like I'm preaching down to nobody, Because what
- 34:55Speaker 6: I hate is when cats get to a certain level
- 34:58Speaker 6: and now all of a sudden they conversation, it don't
- 35:01Speaker 6: sound real. No more like they can't connect, I mean
- 35:05Speaker 6: in their explanation of what they're doing.
- 35:08Speaker 7: It makes it worse and you go like.
- 35:10Speaker 1: WHOA, don't you're not relatable at all? All right, Well,
- 35:15Speaker 1: moving on, Steve.
- 35:16Speaker 11: According to USA Today, President Trump said back in April,
- 35:20Speaker 11: the renovation of the Lincoln Memorial Reflection Pool, which included
- 35:23Speaker 11: sand blasting, calking, and resurfacing, what costs about one and
- 35:27Speaker 11: a half million dollars. But now multiple reports said the
- 35:31Speaker 11: renovation is over sixteen million dollars. There has been algae
- 35:36Speaker 11: blooms to blue coating peeling off its bottom. The reflecting
- 35:41Speaker 11: pool has been a target of criticism of the Trump administration.
- 35:44Speaker 11: The president also said individuals have been arrested for vandalism
- 35:48Speaker 11: to the pool. Just fyi, Federal taxpayers, through the Department
- 35:52Speaker 11: of the Interior and the National Park Service are paying
- 35:56Speaker 11: for the reflection pool repairs.
- 35:59Speaker 7: And it's gone horribly wrong because I don't know what
- 36:04Speaker 7: they're doing.
- 36:07Speaker 4: That.
- 36:08Speaker 10: I ain't never had algae. He brought his nasty behind
- 36:17Speaker 10: probably when I took a bath. Anyway, all right.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Before we get too crazy, Carl is here with Music
- 36:27Speaker 1: News I gotta recover from the deputy.
- 36:31Speaker 11: I know.
- 36:32Speaker 9: All right, let me just say this Academy Award winner,
- 36:36Speaker 9: surely this is for you, Morgan Freeman. Yes, yes, it's
- 36:40Speaker 9: going to release a blues album tracks. Yes, August seventh,
- 36:47Speaker 9: give it to me, Tommy, come on and thank I
- 36:53Speaker 9: got an album coming.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I hope you you don't mind. I love the blues
- 37:02Speaker 1: and I love Morgan Freeman. Okay, this is a match
- 37:04Speaker 1: made in heavy rain.
- 37:07Speaker 11: Thank you Morgan coming up in twenty minutes, and thank
- 37:10Speaker 11: you Carlin coming up in twenty minutes. After we'll tell
- 37:15Speaker 11: you why voting in the primaries matter.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Right after this, I wish my people would vote. You're
- 37:21Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. An education is
- 37:29Speaker 1: a transformation every day.
- 37:31Speaker 9: The Third Marshall College Fund transformed lives through scholarships, professional development,
- 37:36Speaker 9: and career advancement opportunities. We also connect forward thinking companies
- 37:41Speaker 9: with exceptional HBCU talent through workforce development programs. I'm a

- 38:07Speaker 9: this is where it starts.

- 38:11Speaker 9: Apply, donate, or partner with us today at TMCF dot org.
- 38:15Speaker 11: Well, today is June twenty third, and there are primary
- 38:18Speaker 11: elections in the following states. That's Maryland, New York, South Carolina,
- 38:23Speaker 11: and Utah. So this is why primary elections really matter. Okay,
- 38:27Speaker 11: let's break that down, Steve. Voters will choose which Democrat
- 38:31Speaker 11: and Republican will run in the midterm or general elections
- 38:35Speaker 11: coming up in November. According to Builder Movement dot com,
- 38:39Speaker 11: if you want fair representation, accountable leadership, and a democratic
- 38:44Speaker 11: system that actually reflects the will of the people, not
- 38:49Speaker 11: the politicians, but the people, we have to stop treating
- 38:52Speaker 11: primaries as an afterthought.
- 38:54Speaker 1: So please go vote right, We've got to.
- 38:58Speaker 6: This is a very important year and when the midterms
- 39:01Speaker 6: get here in November, we have a chance to put
- 39:04Speaker 6: a checking balance in place on this administrating tration that's
- 39:08Speaker 6: running a muck with our rights. I mean, they are
- 39:12Speaker 6: taking everything that they possibly can away from us, and
- 39:16Speaker 6: we have a chance in November to go to the
- 39:17Speaker 6: polls and say, hope, checking balance, we're gonna control the
- 39:22Speaker 6: House in the Senate, and we're gonna put a stop
- 39:24Speaker 6: to all this foolishness this man is doing. And if
- 39:27Speaker 6: you don't, we finished in here for two and a
- 39:29Speaker 6: half more years and ain't no telling him, well, he
- 39:32Speaker 6: gonna obliterate Just the Constitution means nothing to this man.
- 39:36Speaker 6: It already ain't meant a whole lot to us, no way,
- 39:40Speaker 6: but it don't mean nothing to him. And it means
- 39:43Speaker 6: even less for human rights. I've never seen.
- 39:46Speaker 1: We don't.
- 39:47Speaker 6: We have a cabinet that has no representation with people
- 39:51Speaker 6: of color except Cash Pertail, who is a handpicked flunky
- 39:57Speaker 6: the director of FBI. He was hand and picked by
- 40:01Speaker 6: the President to do his bidding, and that's what he
- 40:03Speaker 6: does with his drunk.
- 40:07Speaker 1: I was about to say it.
- 40:09Speaker 7: I'm just sitting up in here, man and.
- 40:12Speaker 6: Y'all, and I don't see how we were allowing them
- 40:16Speaker 6: to get away with this when we got a chance.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Man, It's.
- 40:21Speaker 9: It's like they want to take us back. Jim Crow
- 40:24Speaker 9: two point zero. Yes, Yes, this is what they're trying
- 40:27Speaker 9: to do.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Our parts.
- 40:30Speaker 6: Yeah, even when they have shows on CEE and then
- 40:32Speaker 6: like Abby Phillips where they have where sides are talking.
- 40:36Speaker 6: But on this show we are Scott Jennings man sits there.
- 40:40Speaker 6: He's a Republican concern and he's smugly on his face,
- 40:47Speaker 6: tries to justify advanced single thing this man does. But
- 40:52Speaker 6: they can't fix this deal. Though this deal is being signed,
- 40:55Speaker 6: they can't fix this one to them all live on
- 40:59Speaker 6: this Let me say this. The two groups that I'm
- 41:02Speaker 6: most pissed at Latinos for Trump and Blacks for Trump.
- 41:07Speaker 7: Both of y'all how you feel?
- 41:09Speaker 1: Now?
- 41:10Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 41:11Speaker 11: Yeah, all right, we're gonna switch gears and coming up
- 41:14Speaker 11: at thirty four minutes after be hours, we're going to
- 41:16Speaker 11: talk about marriage right after this. Wow you're listening Steve
- 41:21Speaker 11: Harvey Morning Show. All right, So Steve, we have to
- 41:28Speaker 11: say congratulations to you and Marjorie. Tomorrow is your wedding anniversary,
- 41:33Speaker 11: and so Andy.
- 41:36Speaker 6: And I just want to say to everybody out there,
- 41:38Speaker 6: me and Marjorie are absolutely fine. I don't know what's
- 41:42Speaker 6: wrong with internet, man. I don't know why people can't
- 41:46Speaker 6: be happy for each other anymore. I don't know why
- 41:49Speaker 6: you have to drum up store. That's the story. We
- 41:52Speaker 6: get Steve Harvey. Steve Harvey announced its his fourth relationship. Okay,
- 41:56Speaker 6: where's the announcement that?
- 42:00Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 42:01Speaker 1: Yeah, and who is it?
- 42:02Speaker 7: And when did I make an announcement?
- 42:05Speaker 1: We and mam you are fine.
- 42:07Speaker 6: We are together. We support each other and were in
- 42:09Speaker 6: love with each other. Y'all go somewhere and sit your sad,
- 42:15Speaker 6: unhappy down somewhere and be miserable by yourself because you
- 42:20Speaker 6: can't pull us down.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Come we cover by God.
- 42:22Speaker 10: Man.
- 42:23Speaker 7: Yeah, I wish y'all would just go sit down so
- 42:25Speaker 7: we find dollar years?
- 42:26Speaker 1: Fine, how many years, Steve? It's coming up on twenty man, Wow,
- 42:31Speaker 1: twenty years tomorrow graduation?
- 42:33Speaker 6: Well, no, it's nineteen tomorrow tomorrow. We've been together over
- 42:38Speaker 6: twenty years, but we get married nineteen.
- 42:41Speaker 11: That's a that's a that's quite impressionable. Tommy was twenty five, right,
- 42:47Speaker 11: twenty five last week.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that's even more of a miracle. Yeah, what you
- 42:53Speaker 1: say say that? You heard Tommy?
- 42:58Speaker 6: You said, man, ja can need a parade, a badge,
- 43:04Speaker 6: new car, always.
- 43:09Speaker 1: This girl. Man, Hey, listen, So what is the secret
- 43:16Speaker 1: to a happy marriage?
- 43:18Speaker 4: What is.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Mouth? You heard?
- 43:22Speaker 4: Ye? Both? Ye?
- 43:24Speaker 1: Both man? Just just a husband, Oh, just a husband.
- 43:33Speaker 1: If I could get y'all, that's not y'alls. You're not
- 43:38Speaker 1: gonna get that.
- 43:39Speaker 7: Live, have livel after and never have an argument.
- 43:43Speaker 1: That's not happening. Yeah, that's it's who we are. Yeah. So,
- 43:49Speaker 1: but you say shut your mouth, but it's still communication.
- 43:53Speaker 7: Well show your mouth.
- 43:55Speaker 6: In terms of augury, yeah, you've got to know. You
- 43:58Speaker 6: got to pick your battles. You've got to know the
- 44:01Speaker 6: ones that you got to have a dispute about. Nobody's
- 44:04Speaker 6: gonna have a relationship without dispute or compromise, and then
- 44:08Speaker 6: you have to be willing to compromise.
- 44:11Speaker 7: You got to be able to give a little.
- 44:13Speaker 4: It can't.
- 44:14Speaker 6: Winning an argument should not be your objective. That should
- 44:19Speaker 6: be Listen, Winning the argument should not be your objective.
- 44:23Speaker 6: Suddening the argument is the objective.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Settling it. Let her have whole way. Let's settle the argument.
- 44:31Speaker 11: We're always right, Steve. Let me ask you this, though, seriously,
- 44:35Speaker 11: have you ever gone to bed Matt.
- 44:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest, we've gone to bed mad. It
- 44:40Speaker 1: ain't the way to do it. Though.
- 44:42Speaker 6: See I may not go to bed mad. But what
- 44:45Speaker 6: I have to remember about the women is and here's
- 44:47Speaker 6: the part you gotta remember fellas when they go to
- 44:51Speaker 6: bed mad, when they.
- 44:52Speaker 7: Wake up.
- 44:54Speaker 1: A mad.
- 44:57Speaker 7: Mad, they then dreamed of a couple more things.
- 45:02Speaker 1: We're dreaming.
- 45:05Speaker 4: You know.
- 45:06Speaker 11: First it takes a minute to remember that you're mad
- 45:10Speaker 11: though when you first wake up.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Not me, you know, immediately when you woke up once
- 45:17Speaker 1: when I wake up, then I was like, oh, we're
- 45:19Speaker 1: still mad.
- 45:20Speaker 4: Tang it.
- 45:20Speaker 1: We didn't resolve that.
- 45:22Speaker 10: Yeah, but I'm all about making my wife happy. I'm
- 45:25Speaker 10: all about that, as you should.
- 45:27Speaker 1: As you should, yeah you should.
- 45:29Speaker 6: Ye, well, but you know it should also be here's
- 45:32Speaker 6: the biggest mistake that women make. If your man comes
- 45:36Speaker 6: home and he cannot come home to a peaceful house,
- 45:42Speaker 6: that's horrible for him. He being out all day fighting
- 45:45Speaker 6: these walls, fighting the stuff he up against it that
- 45:48Speaker 6: being a man. If he can't come home to a
- 45:51Speaker 6: peaceful home and some loving and affection and just you know,
- 45:57Speaker 6: it's not gonna work. Well, what about my day? Hey, Okay,
- 46:01Speaker 6: got it. I'm talking about the man, and you know
- 46:04Speaker 6: who you are, and if that's how you are when
- 46:06Speaker 6: he come home, then I'm sitting in the driveway in
- 46:09Speaker 6: a minute.
- 46:09Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, all right, thank you guys for that perspective.
- 46:13Speaker 11: All right, thank you guys for that perspective. Coming up next,
- 46:15Speaker 11: it is the nephew and today's prank phone call. Right
- 46:18Speaker 11: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:26Speaker 11: Coming up at about four minutes after the hour, it
- 46:28Speaker 11: is my strawberry letter for today and the subject is
- 46:31Speaker 11: all in the family. All in the Family. We'll get
- 46:34Speaker 11: into that find out what that's all about. Wait till
- 46:37Speaker 11: you hear this one. Wait till you hear this letter.
- 46:40Speaker 11: We'll hear it in just a few because right now
- 46:42Speaker 11: the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 46:45Speaker 1: What you got for his neph I'm.
- 46:47Speaker 10: Gonna bring some stupid to the table this morning as
- 46:50Speaker 10: I reach out and talk to the praise dance lady.
- 46:54Speaker 1: That's old.
- 46:54Speaker 10: With all the praise dancers at the church, we need
- 46:56Speaker 10: to it's just it's then got out of hand. It
- 46:58Speaker 10: really had. It has gotten out of hand. It just
- 47:01Speaker 10: seems like some of them, uh, they don't look like
- 47:05Speaker 10: they praise. And let's just put it that way. It
- 47:07Speaker 10: just don't look praising. It looked like a little gi
- 47:11Speaker 10: rating might be going on a little twirking praise. But
- 47:16Speaker 10: you know what, I'd like to see. I'd like to
- 47:17Speaker 10: see Shirley Monakin call. I'd like to see y'all praise dance.
- 47:26Speaker 10: Y'all at to do a routine and post it on
- 47:28Speaker 10: social media so we all can see it.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Nice little.
- 47:33Speaker 10: I don't know what y'all gonna wear. Something flowy, you
- 47:36Speaker 10: gotta be something slowy.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Put your hand down. I would like to vote that down.
- 47:42Speaker 1: You know you just like praise dancing.
- 47:45Speaker 7: I'm trying to get praised dance and stopped in churches.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Yes, you are all right.
- 47:50Speaker 10: Let's go praise dancing, cat dog, if you would.
- 47:54Speaker 4: This is the day that the Lord is man. Let
- 47:55Speaker 4: us rejoice and be glad in it. How you doing?
- 47:57Speaker 4: I'm looking for uh. This is to tell you. This
- 48:02Speaker 4: is brother Fuller from the church. How are you? Oh,
- 48:04Speaker 4: I'm brothers. How were you? I'm good?
- 48:06Speaker 3: I'm good.
- 48:08Speaker 4: We wanted to give you a call about the about
- 48:10Speaker 4: the praise dancing that's at the church. First of all,
- 48:12Speaker 4: I wanted to really show you how much you're doing
- 48:15Speaker 4: a great job over there with the praise dancers, and
- 48:17Speaker 4: you you definitely do a great job on every third
- 48:20Speaker 4: tony that you guys actually perform. Everybody seemed to really
- 48:22Speaker 4: like it. Well, thank you, thank you. What can I
- 48:24Speaker 4: do for you today? There is a bit of a
- 48:26Speaker 4: situation with you know, it's been brought to our attention.
- 48:29Speaker 4: We actually had a small gathering, a little meeting about
- 48:31Speaker 4: it and wanted to I've been elected to actually give
- 48:34Speaker 4: you a call, kid, Brother Fuller, uh huh and and
- 48:41Speaker 4: who had a meeting, uh, some of the brothers at
- 48:43Speaker 4: the church and and uh have to actually sat in
- 48:46Speaker 4: for a moment on it. And I was actually elected
- 48:48Speaker 4: to actually just give you a call. Nothing that I
- 48:51Speaker 4: don't think we can't get rectified and and you know,
- 48:54Speaker 4: move on smoothly as we normally do. But I just
- 48:56Speaker 4: think it's we wanted to reach out to you and
- 48:58Speaker 4: kind of make you aware of it if you don't mind, okay,
- 49:03Speaker 4: And what things are those? Well, Sister Tanya, has any
- 49:07Speaker 4: of the praise dancers before they became praise dancers? Was
- 49:13Speaker 4: was any of them strippers? I beg your pardon. Was
- 49:17Speaker 4: any of the praise dancers that at the church that
- 49:20Speaker 4: you have on the praise team right now?
- 49:23Speaker 8: Was any of them strippers in the past?
- 49:25Speaker 4: I'm sorry, sir, I don't I don't really know who
- 49:27Speaker 4: you are. And I don't really understand this line of questions.
- 49:31Speaker 4: Like I said, I'm brother full I don't think we've met.
- 49:33Speaker 4: But uh, like I said, I've been elected to give
- 49:35Speaker 4: you a call now. It seems what happened is this
- 49:39Speaker 4: past week when you all actually danced, it seemed like
- 49:43Speaker 4: a couple of the girls was actually GI rating doing
- 49:46Speaker 4: the praise routine. Hey what GI rating? Brother Phillip. I
- 49:50Speaker 4: don't know who you are, and I don't know what
- 49:51Speaker 4: you saw. None of my girls with gy rating. They
- 49:54Speaker 4: were dancing for the Lord. And I think if you
- 49:57Speaker 4: look through your Lord's eye, perhaps you woul see them
- 50:00Speaker 4: better instead of maybe you were looking through the GI
- 50:02Speaker 4: rating eye. No, see a couple of the girl. We
- 50:05Speaker 4: can point them out, A couple of them half stript
- 50:08Speaker 4: girl tendencies up and then because some of them have
- 50:10Speaker 4: been strip girls, fendancy you know what, sir, I think
- 50:15Speaker 4: we need to complete this call. Perhaps I need to
- 50:18Speaker 4: call Bishop to speak to him myself, because you know,
- 50:20Speaker 4: I don't know what you do all day, but I
- 50:22Speaker 4: have a real job and I'm sitting here holding a
- 50:24Speaker 4: conversation in my office about gy rating strippers in the church.
- 50:27Speaker 4: Are you kidding me? Well, listen. Now here's a couple
- 50:30Speaker 4: other things that they're talking about. Some of the girls
- 50:33Speaker 4: feet or real ask you when you all are performing
- 50:36Speaker 4: and they want to see it, maybe you can, you can.
- 50:38Speaker 4: I don't know. Maybe I don't know if y'all need
- 50:40Speaker 4: the grip or whatever that y'all don't y'all don't put
- 50:42Speaker 4: lotion on it. We're not sure what that is. As
- 50:45Speaker 4: well as the totalail pology. Everybody has three, four, five
- 50:50Speaker 4: different designs and everything is it? Any way, y'all can
- 50:53Speaker 4: be in unison with your totnail polits. But the most
- 50:56Speaker 4: important thing here the gi rating doing the dance routine.
- 51:00Speaker 4: I don't know what your feet look like. I don't
- 51:02Speaker 4: need you calling me talking to me about my girls
- 51:04Speaker 4: their feet, their nail polishes. Perhaps your mass should be
- 51:07Speaker 4: on Jesus instead of on them, how about that? Oh?
- 51:11Speaker 4: From my mind, I don't have time. I don't have
- 51:13Speaker 4: time to be on Jesus when somebody's shaking they but
- 51:18Speaker 4: at the church, that's the problem, you know what. Look,
- 51:20Speaker 4: I'm at work now, I'm trying to keep a work tone.
- 51:23Speaker 4: You're gonna make me curse up here here and now
- 51:25Speaker 4: let me tell you something. Don't call me anymore. I
- 51:27Speaker 4: will deal with pastor. If he has something to say
- 51:29Speaker 4: with me, he can say it to me personally. But
- 51:31Speaker 4: I'm done with this conversation. Are you gonna deal with
- 51:34Speaker 4: the gy rating? Is what we want to know? Maybe
- 51:37Speaker 4: you know what They're just hit me. Maybe you're one
- 51:40Speaker 4: of the ones that's doing the gy rate. Look, let
- 51:42Speaker 4: me tell you something. My girls ain't doing a Joe ring,
- 51:44Speaker 4: and neither am I. Now I am done with this conversation.
- 51:47Speaker 4: Do you understand you?
- 51:48Speaker 3: But listen, I'm done.
- 51:49Speaker 4: Are you done with this rat That's what we want
- 51:51Speaker 4: to stop so we can we can't praise the Lord
- 51:54Speaker 4: if the boot is just shaking, you know what? Shirt? Look,
- 51:58Speaker 4: I gotta go to work. I gotta now again. I
- 52:01Speaker 4: don't know what your issue is. It sounds to me
- 52:03Speaker 4: like you have an issue with jout rating booties. And
- 52:05Speaker 4: I heard so much joy rating booties on one conversation
- 52:08Speaker 4: in my entire life. Now my mind is set on Jesus.
- 52:10Speaker 4: I don't know what your mind is said on. Well, sister,
- 52:12Speaker 4: tell you before you was a prais then a ministry
- 52:16Speaker 4: over the ministry, did you ever use to strip y'all?
- 52:19Speaker 4: Didn't do no stripping. Now did you why do any stripping?
- 52:23Speaker 4: Did your mama do any stripping? You heard what I said?
- 52:27Speaker 4: How are you asking for somebody? Call? You would ask
- 52:28Speaker 4: you if your mama diet some stripping? How you like that?
- 52:32Speaker 4: You know what? I want to know? When is the
- 52:33Speaker 4: next rehearsal? Then the way I can come and pick
- 52:35Speaker 4: out who it is that's doing this time? Real you
- 52:37Speaker 4: don't have you don't have any business at my rehearsal.
- 52:39Speaker 4: I don't want to see you at my rehearsal. I
- 52:41Speaker 4: don't want to I don't want to see any part
- 52:43Speaker 4: for you in my rehearsal. If I see you near
- 52:44Speaker 4: one of my girls. That's why I'm coming after you myself.
- 52:46Speaker 4: Do you understand me? You need to find out who's
- 52:48Speaker 4: doing that job? Right thing? You need to say your
- 52:51Speaker 4: buddy y'all And I'm glad y'all. Ain't dancing when the
- 52:55Speaker 4: laitness being pass because I ain't no telling how you
- 52:57Speaker 4: act with them ones coming through that?
- 52:58Speaker 2: You know what?
- 52:59Speaker 4: That's it? I said, you call me disrespecting me. I'm
- 53:02Speaker 4: at what. I can't even have this more? You know what?
- 53:04Speaker 4: Don't call me no more? So look at my girl
- 53:06Speaker 4: no more? Man fast coming down to church and see.
- 53:08Speaker 1: What I got for it.
- 53:09Speaker 4: I don't want to know if you gonna stop the
- 53:10Speaker 4: job rating for Mok. You talking to like that you're
- 53:17Speaker 4: supposed to be a Minnesota good thing. Yeah, Lena Dine
- 53:21Speaker 4: listen and tell you now I'm getting ready to go. Well,
- 53:23Speaker 4: I got one more pain to say to you for
- 53:25Speaker 4: your leader. You ain't got a thing to say to me.
- 53:27Speaker 4: I said I was dem and I said I got
- 53:29Speaker 4: one more pain to say. Is you listen? You know what? Man,
- 53:31Speaker 4: get off my phone and I'm gonna say it anyway.
- 53:33Speaker 4: This is Nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 53:38Speaker 4: Your entire praise and ministry congregation, all your girls got
- 53:43Speaker 4: me the prank phone call you. Oh I'm a shootie
- 53:47Speaker 4: for real. Oh I'm I think I'm nursing on the radio.
- 53:52Speaker 4: Oh oh oh, come Donna have a show. Hey, I
- 53:56Speaker 4: got one thing to ask you. Tell you what is
- 53:59Speaker 4: the baddest radio show in the land? Nobody else for
- 54:02Speaker 4: the Steven Show?
- 54:09Speaker 2: Ignorant?
- 54:09Speaker 10: It's best, and the nephew will be ignorant. In Hattisburg, Mississippi,
- 54:13Speaker 10: July eleven. Tickets on sale right now. Y'all already know
- 54:16Speaker 10: Singer Theater.
- 54:17Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 54:17Speaker 10: Are we already talked about it? Y'all know you buying tickets.
- 54:20Speaker 10: I appreciate that you're coming to see the food and

- 56:50Speaker 11: Subject, Thank you nephew. Subject is all in the family.
- 56:55Speaker 11: Dear Steve and Shirley. I am sixty three year old
- 56:58Speaker 11: single man. I've been divorced since I was forty eight
- 57:02Speaker 11: years old, and I have four grown sons. I ran
- 57:06Speaker 11: into my ex wife's sister at a jazz brunch about
- 57:09Speaker 11: a month ago. She lost her husband a few years
- 57:12Speaker 11: ago and she's just getting out and dating again. I
- 57:15Speaker 11: asked her if she wanted to keep in touch, and
- 57:17Speaker 11: she said yes. She told me that she was going
- 57:20Speaker 11: to run it by my ex wife first. I didn't
- 57:22Speaker 11: think my ex wife would care, and she didn't, so
- 57:25Speaker 11: I have been dating my ex's sister named Raven. Raven
- 57:30Speaker 11: opened up about dating women and said she loves men
- 57:33Speaker 11: and women equally. I was hesitant to sleep with her,
- 57:37Speaker 11: but she initiated sex for the first time, and boy
- 57:40Speaker 11: was it satisfying. I couldn't help but think about my
- 57:43Speaker 11: ex wife.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Though.
- 57:45Speaker 11: Raven and I had sex a few more times, and
- 57:47Speaker 11: she's good at persuading me to reveal my wild side
- 57:51Speaker 11: to her. A few nights ago, she asked if I
- 57:54Speaker 11: would be open to another woman joining us in playtime.
- 57:58Speaker 11: She said the lady is around her age, but she's married,
- 58:00Speaker 11: so she's very discreet. I was excited when she showed
- 58:05Speaker 11: up at my house with the lady. We all had
- 58:07Speaker 11: a great night together, and as the lady was leaving,
- 58:11Speaker 11: she said she had to get back home before Alvin
- 58:14Speaker 11: started calling her. I looked at her and she smiled.
- 58:18Speaker 11: Right then, I knew I had seen her before. She's
- 58:22Speaker 11: married to my ex wife's cousin, Alvin. Even though she's
- 58:26Speaker 11: not directly related, she's in the family. I don't know
- 58:31Speaker 11: what I've gotten myself into, but I like it a lot.
- 58:35Speaker 11: Is it cool to keep saying ray, then, as long
- 58:38Speaker 11: as we don't include Alvin's wife.
- 58:42Speaker 1: Okay, so you're asking Steve.
- 58:45Speaker 11: And I if you should continue sleeping with your ex
- 58:49Speaker 11: wife's sister, but leave her friend out of it because
- 58:52Speaker 11: her friend is your ex wife's cousin's wife.
- 58:55Speaker 1: In other words, leave her out because.
- 58:58Speaker 11: You don't want any more at threesomes with her, And
- 59:01Speaker 11: I got to tell you this is the least of
- 59:03Speaker 11: your problems right here. You and your wife haven't been
- 59:06Speaker 11: together for a long time. But who are we to
- 59:10Speaker 11: tell you who you can and cannot see and sleep
- 59:12Speaker 11: with again. Remember now you're asking us if you should
- 59:16Speaker 11: continue sleeping with your wife your ex wife's sister. Normally
- 59:20Speaker 11: we would say no, this is crazy, but you don't
- 59:23Speaker 11: need our opinion. You're already doing it. But I will
- 59:25Speaker 11: say this, no matter how good it feels, how much
- 59:29Speaker 11: you say discretion is involved, this is still way crazy.
- 59:33Speaker 11: This is too close for comfort. You and your ex
- 59:36Speaker 11: wife's sister and your ex wife's cousin or whatever. What
- 59:39Speaker 11: about this is seems right to you? What about it
- 59:43Speaker 11: seems right? I know you all are grown, but this
- 59:47Speaker 11: is just too messy. You can't find anyone else to
- 59:51Speaker 11: have sex with but your ex wife's relatives. This is
- 59:55Speaker 11: like kind of like not incest, but incest adjacent. I mean,
- 59:59Speaker 11: I know they're not blood. Your said being with Raven
- 1:00:02Speaker 11: your ex wife's sister made you think of your ex wife.
- 1:00:05Speaker 11: That's not really a surprise, because being sisters, I guess
- 1:00:08Speaker 11: they would have some similarities.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: But what does that mean though?
- 1:00:11Speaker 11: Are you fantasizing about your ex wife while you're with Raven?
- 1:00:16Speaker 11: What is really going on with you? Because all I
- 1:00:18Speaker 11: see here is a sixty three year old man getting
- 1:00:20Speaker 11: his freak one with his sister in law and asking
- 1:00:23Speaker 11: us if he should keep sleeping with her, just without
- 1:00:27Speaker 11: the sleep of the threesomes. All I can say is
- 1:00:29Speaker 11: I'm glad she's not my sister, because this is a mess,
- 1:00:32Speaker 11: a real mess.
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: Steve.
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: No, I'm just gonna say this up top. I am
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: not gonna be able to help you. I have no
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: expertise in this. I don't know what to tell you.
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: I haven't run across this before, I have no pride experience. So, brother,
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: I'm just gonna let you know right off the dribble,
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: before I start talking, I am not going to be
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: able to help you. And the number one reason I'm
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: not gonna be able to help you because I got
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: questions and after I read this letter, I need you
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: to help me because I'm trying to figure out what's
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: going on.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: You sixty three, you're a single man. Okay, you're sixty three.
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: You're a single man. You've been divorced since she was
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: forty eight. Fifty eight is ten fourteen years forty yeah,
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: I don't know. Fourteen yeah, I have four grown sons.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: You ran into your ex wife sister of jazz Brunch.
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: She lost her husband a few years ago. Now when
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: you say lost your husband, do that mean he died.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Yeah, fifteen years Steve.
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: Okay, he died. She's getting out and she's dating. I
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: asked you if she wanted to keep in touch. She
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: said yeah, She's told me she was gonna run it
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: by my ex wife first. Then you said I don't
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: think she'll care, and she didn't. So I've been dating
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: my ex's sister name Raven. Now, why you would put
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: this woman's name in this letter, I'm not really sure
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: about that, but you are stupid. I was dating my
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: wife's sister, Raven Raven, Now you don't put her business
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: out there, and told you that she liked dating men
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: and women, and she likes them equally. I was hesitant
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: to sleep with her, but she initiated sex, and boy
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: was it satisfying.
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: I couldn't help but think about my ex wife though.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: I don't even know why you threw that in there,
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: because we weighed too late for that that piece of
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: information we don't need all we care because whatever you
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: thought about your ex wife, you were doing it to Raven.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Yeah, hang on, right there, stuff right there, Steve.
- 1:03:05Speaker 11: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:03:07Speaker 11: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's strawberry letter, subject
- 1:03:11Speaker 11: all in the family. We'll get back into it right
- 1:03:14Speaker 11: after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey, listeners,
- 1:03:23Speaker 11: A leave has a question for you. Do you remember
- 1:03:26Speaker 11: what it felt like when back pain didn't take over
- 1:03:29Speaker 11: your day? You'd bend, twist, sit, stand without even thinking
- 1:03:33Speaker 11: about it. Well, that feeling didn't go anywhere thanks to
- 1:03:37Speaker 11: A leave. With just one dose, A leave gives you
- 1:03:40Speaker 11: long lasting back pain relief for up to twelve hours,
- 1:03:43Speaker 11: so you can get back to moving the way you
- 1:03:46Speaker 11: used to feel. A leave use as directed for minor
- 1:03:49Speaker 11: aches and pains. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:03:52Speaker 11: today's strawberry letter. This crazy letter. The subject is all
- 1:03:56Speaker 11: in the family.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: He don't put everybody name in this letter but his,
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: So I'm an attacher name to him. Oh please, dear
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: Stephen Shirley, I'm a sixty three year old man. I've
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: been divorced, got full grown sons, ran into my ex
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: wife at a jazz brunch. She lost her husband few sister. No,
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: she ran up into her ex wife's sister. He ran
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: into his ex wife sister at a jazz club. His
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: ex wife sister lost to her husband. She was out
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: dating again. I asked Hi if she wanted to stay
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: in touch. She said yeah, but she gonna run it
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: by her ex wife, by my ex wife.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: First.
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: I didn't think my ex wife would have a problem
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: with it, and she didn't. So I've been dating my
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: ex wife's sister.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Name Raven. Wow.
- 1:04:47Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: Raven then opened up about dating women and said she
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: loves men and women equally.
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: I named Charles, Charles Charles.
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: I was a little hesitant to sleep with her, but
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: she initiated sex, and boy was itsatisfying. But I couldn't
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: help but think about my ex wife though. Well, whatever
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: you thought about your ex wife, you were doing it
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: to Raven. Let's just so dog, Let's just keep this
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: story moving. Raven and I meaning me, Raving and Charles, Yeah,
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: had sex a few more times.
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: And here's the key.
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: She's good at persuading me to reveal my wild side
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: to her.
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: I don't know what all that is, Charles.
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: But after you reveal all of what you was willing
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: to do and what she evene got you to do,
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: she asked if you would be open to another woman joining.
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: Us at playtime.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: She said.
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: The lady is around her age, but she's married, so
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: she's very discreet. I was excited when she showed up
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: in my house with the lady. Y'all had a great
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: night together. Now, what I like about Charles is he
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: tries to be discreet, not to vulgue about what was
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: going on. He ain't bragging about how good he is.
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: And he was wrecking house and turning him out and
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: had a both in their.
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: Panting and breathing.
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: He ain't say nothing of that now, Charles just said,
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: we all had it a very nice evening.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: And when the lady was.
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: Leaving, she said she had to get back home before
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: and to hear his name dropping again, get back home
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: before Alvin started calling her.
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: I looked at him. She smiled.
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: Right then I knew I had seen her before. Oh bro,
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: come on, man, come on, you didn't think that before.
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: She's married to my ex Wife's all of it, and
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: even though she's not directly directly related. She's in the family. Dog,
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: You ain't even in the family. She ain't your wife
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: no more. You've been single or fifteen years. You're sleeping
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: with her sister. Dog, you done got out the family.
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: You're the one trying to put yourself back in this
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: now because you don't put yourself back in the family
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: with her sister. You now that ran up into the
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: wild thing. And now y'all then got together and bought
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: another woman in. Y'all had a good evening. She looked
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: at you a smile and said, I got to get
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: to the house before Alvins started, caught your old old
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: behind had a album killed. I don't know but one Alvin.
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: Them ain't the chipmunks, good Lord, that must be Alvin
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: her cousin. Wow, And even though she's not directly related,
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: she's in the family. I don't know what I've gotten
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: myself into, but I like it a lot. Now, watch
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: this stupid question. Is it cool to keep seeing Raven
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: as long as we don't include Alvin's wife?
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: Boy?
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: What why are you asking us? Is it cool to
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: keep saying Raven? You ain't finna stop? Dog? This the
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: most thrilling time you've ever had Raven over there, got
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: you bringing stuff all out the trick bag you in here.
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: You done went down to Frederick's house and went in
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: the back room and you got it. Now you got
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: a little brown case with all types of stuff in it.
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: She'd have brought out the wildside, she'd have bought another
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: woman in there. Y'all had a nice time come to
- 1:08:48Speaker 6: find out is Alvin's wife when the last time you talked.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: To alf.
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: Charles, can you tell me that?
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: And how the Raven didn't mention it to you that
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: it was Alvin's wife cause she know that that's their cousin.
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: Yeah, she didn't even tell you that. But you're so stupid.
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: Like I said, br I'm not gonna be able to
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: help you because I don't know what I done got
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: myself into.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: But I like it.
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: Is it cool that I keep seeing Raven as long
- 1:09:24Speaker 6: as we don't include Alvin's wife?
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: What our wife got to do with this? No, when
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: you were you already.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Im moral crazy?
- 1:09:35Speaker 7: Sleeping with any man's wife is dangerous.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Poster your comments, Lord, if Alvin find out.

- 1:10:35Speaker 11: anywhere thanks to A leave. With just one dose, A

- 1:10:57Speaker 1: I got a question from my uncle.
- 1:10:59Speaker 10: You know, I guess being in the position of a
- 1:11:03Speaker 10: TV host for for love, you know, you get a
- 1:11:06Speaker 10: lot of questions, a lot of questions. People want you
- 1:11:08Speaker 10: to help them out. Like I'm like, I'm the love doctor.
- 1:11:11Speaker 10: I don't see myself as that, but I try. But
- 1:11:14Speaker 10: you ever, you ever try to help somebody, And it
- 1:11:17Speaker 10: just seemed like they just they like their problems.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Like you can try to help them and try.
- 1:11:22Speaker 10: To give them all the possibilities and directions of where
- 1:11:26Speaker 10: to go with this issue. But it just seemed like
- 1:11:29Speaker 10: they just don't want no help you just they just
- 1:11:31Speaker 10: want to continuously just well what about this? They just
- 1:11:37Speaker 10: trying to help negative people, is what I'm trying to ask.
- 1:11:39Speaker 10: How do you how do you try and help Some people.
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: Enjoy being the center of attention, and some will use
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: problems as a way to become the center of the attention.
- 1:11:56Speaker 6: And they always got something wrong, and I don't care
- 1:11:58Speaker 6: what you tell them, they try to find a way
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: to stay in that room. And even when you try
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: to talk them out the wrong, they just make it
- 1:12:07Speaker 6: wronger and wronger. That's crazy. Dog, you be sitting up
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: talking to somebody. Yeah, but you know then he said this,
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: Well you know what, if you didn't react that way,
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: it wouldn't do that. But let me tell you why
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: I reacted that way because I've been taught and you
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: just be going, no, that's not right. And you know
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: what's troubling you is if you calling me asking me
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: for advice and I'm giving you mine, but you keep
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: saying but every time I say something, I mean, where
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: we going with this?
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: Do you want a.
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: Solution or do you want to stay in your misery
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: or do you always want to be the person that
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: we discuss it or help them?
- 1:12:47Speaker 10: How do you teach somebody to think positive? That's my
- 1:12:50Speaker 10: big question. I don't know how to teach you to
- 1:12:52Speaker 10: think positive.
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: First of all, if a person is not willing to change,
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: you're in trouble. But you got to find a person
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: that's sick and tired to be in sick and tie.
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: And then when you can show them how they're how
- 1:13:03Speaker 6: their mental capacity and mental thought process of negativity has
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: brought most of this into their life, and then they
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: can see and if they want to change, they'll make
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: the switch.
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: But until then, you know what, ma'am. You know what
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: makes me.
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: Really mad When somebody did wrong but don't see nothing
- 1:13:20Speaker 6: wrong in what they doing. Oh yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:13:26Speaker 6: and no matter what you saying, they right, come on,
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: everybody done told them they wrong, but in their mind
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: her and her husband then sat down and form the
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: two hands circle of stupidity.
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: And now we see it like this.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: It ain't right. That's when life has a teacher lesson, yes.
- 1:13:48Speaker 7: You go, not now, you gotta let them go.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Yep, all right, all right, thank you.
- 1:13:54Speaker 11: Coming up at the top of the hour, a man
- 1:13:56Speaker 11: on social media needs some advice. He says, my girlfriend
- 1:13:58Speaker 11: basedis s their relationship, ship happiness on their social media activity.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve.
- 1:14:12Speaker 11: This is from Brian on Steve HARVFM. He says, my
- 1:14:15Speaker 11: girlfriend of three months has what I find to be
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: a weird way to determine if I'm happy in our
- 1:14:21Speaker 11: relationship or not. Her gauge of our happiness begins and
- 1:14:26Speaker 11: ends with my social media activity. If I don't instantly
- 1:14:30Speaker 11: update feeds with new pictures of things we've done during
- 1:14:33Speaker 11: our most recent thing recent times together, there's either something
- 1:14:37Speaker 11: wrong or I'm hiding something.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: This is crazy and irritating. How would you handle this?
- 1:14:45Speaker 11: I don't want to be the I don't want to
- 1:14:47Speaker 11: be one of those people who lives my life over
- 1:14:49Speaker 11: social media as opposed to actually living it.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: I'd a good question. Wait say that again, So you
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: just break up with her?
- 1:15:01Speaker 7: Yeah, it ain't. Member three months, we ain't.
- 1:15:05Speaker 6: Yeah, we'll post that now because I'm not finn to
- 1:15:08Speaker 6: live my life on social media. You're not finna make it. Yeah,
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: you're nothing to base all our decisions on what I posted.
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: What I forgot to post at all like that. Yeah,
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: I'm gonna just find me somebody.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Else, okay, all right, Byron, that's.
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: Me, okay, because I can't. I'm not the poster type.
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: The last time I wanted something post it was with
- 1:15:31Speaker 6: my father in law. Pass I push for that. Then
- 1:15:34Speaker 6: I look up and I see on top of that
- 1:15:37Speaker 6: promoting celebrity family feud.
- 1:15:39Speaker 7: I want to leave my.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Father up there.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:42Speaker 7: I don't know who running my account, but they finn
- 1:15:44Speaker 7: to hear something though.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Okay, we have one more if we have to, and
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: we do have time, you have to continue to post.
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: So somebody finna be looking for a new job.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: The fire for doing their job. We're moving on. This
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: is from RJ on Steve HARVFM.
- 1:16:06Speaker 11: RJ says, my wife's boss is going through a rough
- 1:16:09Speaker 11: patch in his relationship, and he feels like it's cool
- 1:16:13Speaker 11: to call my wife and get advice about the drama,
- 1:16:15Speaker 11: and sometimes he will text her for hours. I've told
- 1:16:19Speaker 11: my wife that her boss is crossing boundaries and she
- 1:16:22Speaker 11: should go to HR about it. She's scared, though, because
- 1:16:26Speaker 11: she doesn't want to do anything that might risk her job. However,
- 1:16:30Speaker 11: if she doesn't confront the guy, I will.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I don't exactly what exactly what you cool
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: with it?
- 1:16:41Speaker 11: I'm cool with what he said, even if it puts
- 1:16:45Speaker 11: her his wife's job in jeopardy.
- 1:16:47Speaker 6: But she thinks if going to HR will put her
- 1:16:49Speaker 6: job indy, then let me take the pressure off you.
- 1:16:53Speaker 6: I'm a man, I don't know what you're going through,
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: and I sympathize with you, but my wife is not
- 1:16:59Speaker 6: your solution. We can't sit up and enjoy a dinner
- 1:17:02Speaker 6: without you texting her with all this stuff. Man, you man,
- 1:17:05Speaker 6: you need to work that out with your wife or
- 1:17:07Speaker 6: something like that. But but but uh, but mine ain't
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: the answer and she'll know how to have this. So
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: I'm coming to you as a man. I'm just gonna
- 1:17:15Speaker 6: just say that to you, brother. I ain't I ain't
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: making I ain't threatening you or nothing like that. But
- 1:17:19Speaker 6: find yourself something else to do.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: And how do you think that's gonna go over? I
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: don't really give it how it go over? Because you
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: don't want you don't want your wife to be uncomfortable
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: when she uncomfortable.
- 1:17:31Speaker 7: Now she uncomfortable. But I tell you who now, I'm
- 1:17:36Speaker 7: not finna be.
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: Woll he he texted like he texted me real comfortable
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: me and him finish he finna be uncomfortable?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:49Speaker 11: I wonder why he's looked his wife though? Is there
- 1:17:51Speaker 11: a reason because he like her? Because he's crossing boundaries?
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: He really is over there on a whine on her shoulder,
- 1:17:59Speaker 6: and that nurturing inside of her as a woman to
- 1:18:02Speaker 6: help him through it kicks in.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Wait, excuse me, he's doing what Carla the woman who
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: did what.
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: With her?
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: How she met her husband? Excuse me? What were you saying? Oh,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: on the job, it happens. I didn't have to go
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: to HR though. Right, he wasn't my boss.
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: You were his boss.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Wait a minute, you were his boss.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: No it wasn't.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: No, it was a different department. Sharon is stop.
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:18:40Speaker 11: All right, thank you guys, We'll have more of the
- 1:18:44Speaker 11: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Sharline loud to know you you know you were his boss?
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: I was not.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: He worked in sales. No, you're listening to the Steve
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:00Speaker 11: Do you guys know anyone who's faking having a service
- 1:19:03Speaker 11: dog so they can bring them anywhere?
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: We saw this topic on Facebook.
- 1:19:11Speaker 11: A lady in her so called service dog were in
- 1:19:13Speaker 11: the store, but the dog was loud and just bad.
- 1:19:18Speaker 11: People were saying that the dog was probably not a
- 1:19:20Speaker 11: service dog, and the owner put the vest on just
- 1:19:23Speaker 11: to bring the dog inside the store.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: So here's a question. Here's a question.
- 1:19:27Speaker 11: Would you guys put a fake vests on your dog
- 1:19:30Speaker 11: so you could bring in anywhere and call it a
- 1:19:32Speaker 11: service dog?
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Would you do that?
- 1:19:35Speaker 10: And your little miniature Yorkie is not a service dog?
- 1:19:40Speaker 10: The little Yorkie is not a service dog.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Just barkin at everybody.
- 1:19:45Speaker 7: For one, I don't like dogs in restaurants.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: Well, but they can't bring them in there.
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: Yeah, dog, I just said I don't like dogs in restaurants.
- 1:19:55Speaker 6: You put a vest on it, you put sands close
- 1:19:58Speaker 6: outfit on it. Like dogs in the restaurant. The only
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: dog I don't mind in the restaurant is a CNI
- 1:20:09Speaker 6: dog A see oh yeah for yeah, yeah, you know,
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: for for people who are visioning pair. That's the only
- 1:20:16Speaker 6: thing I don't have a problem for. But all the
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: other dogs, you and you and you got a bad
- 1:20:21Speaker 6: gall blood and all this hell. Then y'all just ride
- 1:20:24Speaker 6: around outside coming in here, because you snap without your dog,
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: but I snap with your dog.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: All right, coming up, we'll play around it. Would you rather?
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: Right after you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:21:32Speaker 4: Yeah?

- 1:22:17Speaker 6: same blouse on our had. I cannot tell you how.
- 1:22:22Speaker 6: I don't give it. It ain't enough in the world
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: to express how many of them. I don't care. If
- 1:22:32Speaker 6: Brenda had all the same blides you had.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Him, and then and then what just the highlights?

- 1:23:13Speaker 7: cut short.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: By injured. Oh wow, oh buy injury? My bad?

- 1:23:46Speaker 1: what the record? Yeah, yeah, well you got fourth again again.

- 1:25:19Speaker 11: on this Tuesday. Thank you guys as always, and Steve,
- 1:25:23Speaker 11: I wanted to ask you something. I know it's your
- 1:25:25Speaker 11: anniversary tomorrow coming up in congratulations nineteen years. Tommy had
- 1:25:30Speaker 11: his anniversary last week, twenty five years.
- 1:25:33Speaker 4: Big. Yeah.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: We talk a lot about love on the show and
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: all of that. You know, you get married for love.
- 1:25:40Speaker 11: But what about commitment, Steve, what role does commitment play
- 1:25:45Speaker 11: in a marriage?
- 1:25:46Speaker 6: I mean, look commitment is everything because you got to
- 1:25:49Speaker 6: make several commitments. You got to make a commitment to yourself.
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: You got to make a commitment to your wife or
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: your husband. You got to make a commitment to your family.
- 1:26:00Speaker 6: You gotta make and make a commitment to the survival
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: of it all. You gotta make make a commitment to
- 1:26:06Speaker 6: the institution of marriage. And every day you gotta wake
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: up and decide, this is what I'm doing, even when
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: it gets hard, you gotta be committed to it. Like
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: I am determined to stay together through any arguments. We
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: may have disagreements, fallouts whatever. I am determined. Now there's
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: some things you can do that that's gonna cause that
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: to not happen. I'm not tolerating disloyalty. I'm not tolerating that.
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: And I'm not tolerating disrespect. You're not gonna disrespect me
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: or be disloyal to me in any way. And I
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: sit there and try to get through it and forgive
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: you for it, because I may forgive you for it,
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: but I'm gonna go on with my life. And I
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: don't expect anybody to treat me any different. I don't
- 1:26:59Speaker 6: because if I'm gonna disrespect this woman and do disrespectful
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: stuff to her and expect.
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: Her to lap it up and like it.
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: That ain't right. So you know, it takes a commitment, man.
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: It takes a commitment to stay in there for the kids,
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: for the family. You know, it takes a commitment, man,
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: because when you leave this person, you ain't just leaving you. Man,
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: That kid is over there going, Why am my daddy gone?
- 1:27:30Speaker 6: You know why my mama not here no more? The
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: kid don't understand that, man. Now, kids are survivors. They
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: gonna make it through. And it's best if you're gon't
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: break up. You want to try to coparent the correct
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: way and never step out the kids' life so they
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: don't suffer, you know. And I'm not saying marriages are perfect,
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: because it's hard.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: It's hard being married. But you got to get committed.
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: And you know how I know that because I ain't
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: always been committed.
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: I know what that is.
- 1:28:04Speaker 6: I know what it is now to be committed on
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: more than one level. I am committed to another person's happiness,
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: but now I'm not responsible for her happiness. Say, I
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: had to learn that. Bishop Jakes told me that one time.
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: He said, you are not responsible to make another person happy.
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: That's not your responsibility, nor should you make it yours. Man,
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: You ever tried to make another person happy before? Man,
- 1:28:39Speaker 6: that's crazy. That's a daunting task. You want to compliment
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: the happiness. So I finally married a person who was
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: just a happy person, and it taught me how to
- 1:28:54Speaker 6: enjoy and it freed me up. Now we're gonna go
- 1:28:57Speaker 6: off subject for a minute because I touched on this
- 1:28:59Speaker 6: early and I want to hit it right way. You know,
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: it was Father's Day, man, and I have to talk
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: to a lot of fatherless boys. And I was talking
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: to the mothers yesterday morning before the graduation started, and
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: I thanked them for entrusting their children's lives to me
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: for four days. And we had a tornado scare down
- 1:29:15Speaker 6: there and had to move everybody to cover. The sirens
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: was going off down there by my ranch. It was
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: a lot going on. I was talking to the mothers
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: that I was asking the mothers, if you're in this
- 1:29:25Speaker 6: room and you're using your child as a pond, to
- 1:29:27Speaker 6: please stop it. Please stop making your father the father
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: your child child because he hasn't paid child support or
- 1:29:36Speaker 6: he behind on payments. You keeping him from the kid.
- 1:29:39Speaker 6: Stop because this man has moved on and found another
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: woman and he got a family somewhere else, and you're
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: keeping him from the kid. Stop doing that if you're
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: doing that, because you're hurting your son. Your children don't
- 1:29:49Speaker 6: know that the child supportments is in the rears. They
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: just want their father. And so I've asked women to
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: do that, but I won't say something to women on
- 1:29:58Speaker 6: behalf of men. A lot of good fathers out Here's
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: a lot of good men out here. The two things
- 1:30:04Speaker 6: that men want most from a woman is peace and respect.
- 1:30:11Speaker 6: You could tell us you love us all you want, now,
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: that's cool, but can you give us peace and respect.
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: Respect is honoring me as your husband, as I honor
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: you as my wife. Just honor me, give me credit due,
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: you know whatever. But the peace part. If a man
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: cannot come home and find peace, this man ain't got long.
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: He don't have long because when your husband is out there, man,
- 1:30:41Speaker 6: he fighting the war that is very unsimilar to the
- 1:30:44Speaker 6: war that you are fighting. He're fighting against what they've
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: been doing, the system has been doing to us for
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: hundreds of years. He out there fighting that, and he
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: out there fighting trying to take care of the family,
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: put a roof over your head, provide food, shelter, and clothing.
- 1:31:00Speaker 6: When he come home after that war, he can't come
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: in the house and fight another one. He just can't
- 1:31:05Speaker 6: do it, y'all, And ladies, well, we got things to
- 1:31:08Speaker 6: discuss at this house. But he needs some peace though,
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: because if you don't give him that peace, he can't
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: fight the war out there and come in the house and.
- 1:31:16Speaker 7: Fight that one too.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: He not gonna win.
- 1:31:20Speaker 6: He got no way to recharge himself. So now he
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: back out the door the next morning to fight the
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: blind war. But knowing didn't well, when you pull up
- 1:31:29Speaker 6: at the house tomorrow evening, then he gonna walk in
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: the house and fight another war. Find another way, pick
- 1:31:37Speaker 6: a day Sunday evening. Anything, but let that man have
- 1:31:42Speaker 6: some peace, provide a peaceful environment. And that's all I'm
- 1:31:46Speaker 6: just talking about. On behalf of men. If that helps you, don't,
- 1:31:49Speaker 6: I know women?
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: Do?
- 1:31:50Speaker 6: There some men done that. I got all that, y'all
- 1:31:52Speaker 6: have a nice day to day. Uncle Steve just saying
- 1:31:55Speaker 6: it the way he wanted, just saying that's all.
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: Peace for all.
