- 2:03Speaker 6: Good morning everybody. You all listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:06Speaker 6: dig me now one it only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:09Speaker 6: radio show. Yeah, man boy, God has been good to me. Man,
- 2:16Speaker 6: I can't really count at all. You can't either, you know,
- 2:20Speaker 6: it's all in perspective. You really can't count all that
- 2:23Speaker 6: God has done for you if you look at every
- 2:26Speaker 6: little thing. It's unbelievable the things He's done for us.
- 2:30Speaker 6: How many times you know we got through something without
- 2:33Speaker 6: even talking to him about it. He just he just
- 2:36Speaker 6: blessed us with it. How many you know? It's just
- 2:39Speaker 6: it's so much that the fact that you wake up
- 2:41Speaker 6: in the morning, the fact that you still have a
- 2:44Speaker 6: place to stay, the fact that you know may be
- 2:46Speaker 6: struggling out here, but guess what, you still going to work.
- 2:49Speaker 6: You know, you living check to check, But you're making
- 2:52Speaker 6: it all. You got all the plates spinning. You know
- 2:55Speaker 6: it's hard. You got a lot of plate spinning, but
- 2:56Speaker 6: you keep him up there. Someone every now and near
- 2:58Speaker 6: one break, but he put back up there to look
- 3:01Speaker 6: a little bit better, and you got to get to
- 3:02Speaker 6: spending them so it all works. And then you got
- 3:06Speaker 6: a lot of people who just can't seem to mentally
- 3:10Speaker 6: put it together as to you know, why their life
- 3:15Speaker 6: isn't in a position that they wanted to be. We
- 3:17Speaker 6: talk about this oftentimes, but don't want to try another
- 3:20Speaker 6: angle with you today. You know, maybe it's you. Have
- 3:26Speaker 6: you ever thought about that? Maybe it's you. Maybe it's
- 3:31Speaker 6: no external force that's at fault, like you keep making
- 3:35Speaker 6: the excuse to be You know, so many people out here, Well,
- 3:39Speaker 6: if this hadn't have done this, if he hadn't have
- 3:41Speaker 6: done that, if she hadn't have done that, I would
- 3:43Speaker 6: have been further along. I wasted all my time, my
- 3:47Speaker 6: years with this man, and he did this, and I
- 3:50Speaker 6: could have been here and I could have been there.
- 3:52Speaker 6: And this woman she did this to mean, if she
- 3:55Speaker 6: hadn't have done that, I could have been here and
- 3:57Speaker 6: I could have been there. Maybe it's you, Maybe it's
- 4:02Speaker 6: not really that external force that you keep making it
- 4:06Speaker 6: out to be. See, I've done this to myself before.
- 4:11Speaker 6: Once again, I'm talking to you about something I know about.
- 4:15Speaker 6: I've done this to myself before. I've had the reason
- 4:19Speaker 6: I wasn't where I wanted to be. I had it
- 4:22Speaker 6: figured out as some external force. I had worked it
- 4:27Speaker 6: out in my mind. Clearly it wasn't me because of
- 4:32Speaker 6: so and so or if this hadn't happened, and if
- 4:35Speaker 6: they hadn't have done this, I would have been further
- 4:38Speaker 6: along up the road.
- 4:39Speaker 2: That's what I was saying.
- 4:40Speaker 6: But hold on that boy learned a valuable lesson. Man. See,
- 4:46Speaker 6: if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna be
- 4:51Speaker 6: hard for you to go. If you don't ever let
- 4:57Speaker 6: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 5:01Speaker 6: I was listening to Bishop td Jake's one day, and
- 5:04Speaker 6: I heard him say, you can't drive your car if
- 5:10Speaker 6: you gonna keep looking in the rear view mirror. You
- 5:14Speaker 6: go outside and try that. Try to drive your car,
- 5:17Speaker 6: but keep your eye in the rear view mirror. All
- 5:20Speaker 6: you looking at is where you're being. All you're looking
- 5:24Speaker 6: at in that rear view mirror is where you passed
- 5:26Speaker 6: or should have passed, something you should have moved on from.
- 5:30Speaker 6: All you're doing is looking in that real view mirror
- 5:33Speaker 6: at what happened back now. If you don't stop looking
- 5:38Speaker 6: in the real view mirror, you're gonna crash your car
- 5:41Speaker 6: over and over and over again. All you got to
- 5:46Speaker 6: slow it down so bad in order for you to
- 5:50Speaker 6: keep looking in that rear view mirror. If you don't
- 5:55Speaker 6: learn to let it go, it's gonna be hard for
- 5:58Speaker 6: you to go forward because you keep reviewing the past.
- 6:05Speaker 6: The past is the past, and I know it's hard.
- 6:08Speaker 8: Man.
- 6:08Speaker 6: I watched a show and this lady said, well, I
- 6:11Speaker 6: just can't ever forgive them for that, or guess what.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Guess what.
- 6:17Speaker 6: God may have already forgiven that person. That person may
- 6:21Speaker 6: be extremely remorseful, could have gone to God and got
- 6:25Speaker 6: in forgiveness for it years ago. But you you sit
- 6:30Speaker 6: here and you keep hanging on to the back. I
- 6:33Speaker 6: can't ever forgive that. Then I heard Bishop Jakes come
- 6:37Speaker 6: on the show one time and say something that really
- 6:40Speaker 6: really struck home. You keep drinking the poison, waiting on
- 6:45Speaker 6: your enemy to die. He said that. I just shook
- 6:50Speaker 6: my head and went, Wow, you drinking the poison waiting
- 6:55Speaker 6: on your enemy to die. Revenge is poison to you.
- 7:03Speaker 6: You know, if hatred is poison to you. Unforgivingness when
- 7:09Speaker 6: you won't forgive a person, that person could be going
- 7:12Speaker 6: on with they life made the right with God. Don't
- 7:16Speaker 6: know how you feeling. They skipping through life. Now you
- 7:19Speaker 6: make adjustments every time you see them. And it takes energy. Man,
- 7:22Speaker 6: it takes so much energy to hate. It takes so
- 7:26Speaker 6: much energy not to forgive to Now they come in
- 7:29Speaker 6: the room. You got to avoid them. Stay over here.
- 7:32Speaker 6: Oh here they come. Now you got to make a
- 7:34Speaker 6: situation over here. They come into the house. Its family reunion.
- 7:38Speaker 6: Oh oh, here they come. Where they gonna be in
- 7:40Speaker 6: the basement. I'm going to be on the third floor.
- 7:42Speaker 6: I want to go out here and get some barbecue.
- 7:44Speaker 6: She out there at the barbecue, staying, Oh lord, I
- 7:46Speaker 6: don't want a barbecue. I just eat to take the set. People.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Man take themselves all out of position, trying to make adjustments,
- 7:53Speaker 6: when if you it would simplify your life, if you
- 7:57Speaker 6: would let just let it go. Maybe you ain't where
- 8:00Speaker 6: you need to be because of them external forces altogether.
- 8:05Speaker 6: Maybe you not where you need to because of you
- 8:09Speaker 6: because you won't let it go, you won't move forward.
- 8:12Speaker 6: Look at this, ladies, Let's say you've been in a
- 8:15Speaker 6: situation with a man for years. It didn't work out.
- 8:19Speaker 6: For whatever the reason, it just didn't work out. I
- 8:23Speaker 6: got what you say he did. I got what he did.
- 8:26Speaker 6: I got he all of that, YadA, YadA YadA. When
- 8:29Speaker 6: you get through. Did not God get you through it?
- 8:34Speaker 6: Did not he allow you to survive it. I got you,
- 8:40Speaker 6: got some cuts on you, I got you been a
- 8:42Speaker 6: little bit bruised. But did he not get you through it? So,
- 8:48Speaker 6: now that he's freed you from it, now he done
- 8:50Speaker 6: went on. He got a whole nother family over there somewhere. Now,
- 8:53Speaker 6: he trying to make it right because maybe he learned
- 8:56Speaker 6: the mistake he made and now he trying to be
- 8:58Speaker 6: a better man. He just trying to get it right now.
- 9:00Speaker 6: But you sitting there holding on to it, you drinking
- 9:04Speaker 6: the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. So now,
- 9:06Speaker 6: instead of you enjoying the blessing of finally being free
- 9:10Speaker 6: from a situation that was not healthy for you, you
- 9:13Speaker 6: create an even more unhealthy situation in your mind by hating,
- 9:17Speaker 6: by having revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall on his face.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Maybe you even doing something to the other situation to
- 9:25Speaker 6: make sure they struggle. Oh man, you drinking the poison,
- 9:29Speaker 6: waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe you ain't where
- 9:32Speaker 6: you ought to be in life, not because of your
- 9:35Speaker 6: external forces, but maybe it is you. If you don't
- 9:40Speaker 6: let it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 9:43Speaker 6: You can't keep driving your car looking in the rear
- 9:47Speaker 6: view mirror. Come on, man, Forgiveness is not for the
- 9:52Speaker 6: other person. Forgiveness is for you.
- 9:56Speaker 5: You're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 6: Morning show, ladies and gentlemen. The time has come to
- 10:04Speaker 6: say good morning, to give. But really when you say
- 10:07Speaker 6: good morning, y'all, to say thank you right behind it,
- 10:10Speaker 6: thank you God for this great morning, for this great opportunity,
- 10:12Speaker 6: for this great day, for this great chance for another
- 10:15Speaker 6: shot at it.
- 10:16Speaker 9: Man.
- 10:17Speaker 6: I look, I don't know how y'all feel this morning
- 10:20Speaker 6: when you wake up. But the one thing that a company,
- 10:24Speaker 6: whatever your feeling, is, is gratitude. But if you show gratitude,
- 10:28Speaker 6: I'm telling you right now, it will strongly affect your
- 10:32Speaker 6: attitude by the simple measure of gratitude. This morning, when
- 10:36Speaker 6: I sit on the edge of the bed, I said
- 10:37Speaker 6: I just thank you. I thank you for my life.
- 10:39Speaker 6: I think of whatever measure of health I got. I
- 10:42Speaker 6: just want to thank you for this chance today because
- 10:45Speaker 6: to day gonna be a good day. See the thing
- 10:47Speaker 6: about it, y'all, I'm gonna tell you something. I live
- 10:48Speaker 6: my life in expectation. I expect something good to happen. Now,
- 10:54Speaker 6: let me explain something to you. When life happens as
- 10:57Speaker 6: it does sometimes and the counterbalance this thing comes up,
- 11:01Speaker 6: like something go wrong. I'm okay with that because you
- 11:04Speaker 6: know what, I know everything that ever went wrong in
- 11:07Speaker 6: my life. God didn't handle that before. Because my track record,
- 11:11Speaker 6: along with your track record, for surviving bad days, is
- 11:14Speaker 6: one hundred percent. So why would he not get you
- 11:17Speaker 6: through this one too? If you got that information, that's key.
- 11:21Speaker 6: So gone with your bad self. Know that God is
- 11:23Speaker 6: in the blessing business and he's always dad available. Yeah, man,
- 11:27Speaker 6: Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morty Show. Sheery Straberry, Colin
- 11:30Speaker 6: Freil Mississippi, Monica Junior, and the legend that is Nephew
- 11:34Speaker 6: Tommy Junior. Got your hat on straight today. That's another
- 11:37Speaker 6: sign you know, I can all out and out of
- 11:40Speaker 6: start figuring you out. It's by the way you wear
- 11:42Speaker 6: your hat, I could tell when something wrong.
- 11:44Speaker 10: No, you know it's this is interesting this morning as
- 11:48Speaker 10: a brother. Man, we smokeing with some cigars yesterday. Man,
- 11:50Speaker 10: and he heard you when you were talking about that.
- 11:53Speaker 10: Ask not and you know you know you have not
- 11:55Speaker 10: because you asked not.
- 11:56Speaker 6: Uh huh. But he going through some situations. He sholding
- 11:58Speaker 6: me to ask you.
- 11:59Speaker 10: But he said, Man, But even if I'm going through
- 12:00Speaker 10: a situation I'm trying to tell about, see what you
- 12:02Speaker 10: mean to tell me? I still got to help and
- 12:03Speaker 10: ask to help other people, even when I'm down tried.
- 12:06Speaker 10: If I'm trying to work through something, I'm asking to
- 12:09Speaker 10: get out of a situation and it's working that too well.
- 12:13Speaker 6: Well, but let me sell you something. Who do you
- 12:15Speaker 6: know that's boring into this world? Who ain't connected to
- 12:19Speaker 6: nobody else? Who do you know I don't Somebody knows
- 12:24Speaker 6: who you are. Somebody wonders about you, Somebody is connected
- 12:29Speaker 6: to you. Somebody would actually care for you. There are
- 12:34Speaker 6: some people, no matter how down try and you feel,
- 12:37Speaker 6: somebody that feel for you. Somebody somewhere, if they knew
- 12:41Speaker 6: you was down and out, would pray for you. Somebody
- 12:45Speaker 6: somewhere no matter what you going through, WI say, man,
- 12:48Speaker 6: I hope you be all right. So yeah, man, when
- 12:52Speaker 6: you're going through stuff, just remember when you're praying to
- 12:55Speaker 6: get out of this situation, you ain't just praying for you.
- 12:58Speaker 6: And you got to look at this too. Of times
- 13:00Speaker 6: when you in a situation, the situation ain't just to
- 13:03Speaker 6: affect you. Sometimes God uses you to teach a lesson
- 13:07Speaker 6: to others too. Sometimes you just got to understand you
- 13:12Speaker 6: just the chosen one, You, just the one He done
- 13:16Speaker 6: picked to demonstrate his greatness in Sometimes God uses you
- 13:21Speaker 6: to prove a point to a non believer. I don't
- 13:24Speaker 6: care how bad it is going for you, it's going
- 13:25Speaker 6: worse for somebody else. Come on, and sometimes God use
- 13:29Speaker 6: you to show his glory and his goodness and his
- 13:32Speaker 6: grace and his mercy so other people can see it.
- 13:35Speaker 1: All right, Steve, thank you for that.
- 13:37Speaker 11: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, we
- 13:39Speaker 11: will hear from the nephew as he runs that brank back.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 5: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: It is time now to run that brank back with
- 13:49Speaker 1: the nephew. Nephew, what you got for us?
- 13:51Speaker 2: I got it for you. Sarlier.
- 13:53Speaker 12: Your trash stinks. Your trash stinks anyway you look at it.
- 13:58Speaker 12: I don't care your trash thinks.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Let's go get hello.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Hello, Hey, I'm trying to uh, I'm trying to reach swerve.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Yeah this ma Hey, how you doing? Man? I'm wanting
- 14:10Speaker 4: I'm one of your neighbors. But i'm I'm I'm one
- 14:11Speaker 4: street over from you. You over the off uh you
- 14:16Speaker 4: River Drive? Yeah, that's right this rico. Man. How you doing?
- 14:20Speaker 4: I'm one of your neighbors on the next street. Oh,
- 14:22Speaker 4: how you doing?
- 14:23Speaker 13: Okay, I'm doing good?
- 14:24Speaker 4: But how you how you get my number? One of
- 14:26Speaker 4: the neighbors on your block gave me the number. Man.
- 14:28Speaker 4: We was we were having a little situation. Wanted to
- 14:30Speaker 4: reach out to you, Uh, some stuff going on here
- 14:33Speaker 4: in the neighborhood, man, and wanted to try to make
- 14:35Speaker 4: you aware of it. Well, what what's going on? Uh?
- 14:38Speaker 4: It seemed like, well, you know, the trash man run
- 14:41Speaker 4: on on Tuesday, okay and Saturday right now. The problem
- 14:46Speaker 4: is that that that that a lot of people I
- 14:48Speaker 4: guess got this stuff out on the on the curve
- 14:51Speaker 4: already right right now the problem is that that that
- 14:56Speaker 4: they're saying man, is that your your trash is actually
- 15:00Speaker 4: really really foul and smelling and smelling pretty bad. And
- 15:04Speaker 4: we wanted to call you, man and see if you
- 15:05Speaker 4: do hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 15:07Speaker 13: You say you calling me because you smell my trash?
- 15:11Speaker 4: Well, yeah, they say, yours is the one that's really thinking, man,
- 15:14Speaker 4: And if you could actually maybe put it in, put
- 15:16Speaker 4: it back in the in the in the garage until tuesday, you.
- 15:19Speaker 13: Know, put no trash and no garage. That's why I
- 15:22Speaker 13: put it outside.
- 15:23Speaker 4: I didn't have enough room at the garage. Okay, we see.
- 15:26Speaker 13: And who is everybody saying my trash?
- 15:29Speaker 4: He Hey, listen, I'm not saying.
- 15:32Speaker 6: You know what I want to tell you.
- 15:33Speaker 13: If everybody in the hood gotta fly with my trash.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Saft, you tell them because okay, what what what? What?
- 15:40Speaker 4: We we we discussed that too, But listen, listen, we
- 15:43Speaker 4: don't want no trouble. Man. If we could just get
- 15:44Speaker 4: you to put your trash back in, I'm.
- 15:46Speaker 13: Not moving no trash. I pay rent over here.
- 15:49Speaker 4: My brother. Hey, we're not gonna go back, and I'm
- 15:52Speaker 4: not gonna go back.
- 15:53Speaker 13: What you're gonna do, I'm telling you where I pay
- 15:55Speaker 13: rent at don't tell me to.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Do over here. Okay, Well, listen, man, aren't you concerned
- 16:00Speaker 4: that your trash is thinking and reaking through the whole neighborhood.
- 16:03Speaker 13: I don't give a damn if who smelled my chance,
- 16:06Speaker 13: if they got a problem with it, tell them come
- 16:08Speaker 13: take it out.
- 16:08Speaker 4: Still then and say it out there, okay, whether that's
- 16:11Speaker 4: the problem, The problem is is that you took it out,
- 16:13Speaker 4: and you took it out too early. You shouldn't put
- 16:15Speaker 4: this out till Tuesday morning. And that's who is money
- 16:19Speaker 4: find it?
- 16:20Speaker 13: If I put it out there and say it out yesterday,
- 16:22Speaker 13: come get it.
- 16:23Speaker 4: I'm not gonna go back and forth with you, man. Okay,
- 16:25Speaker 4: the damn what.
- 16:26Speaker 13: You gonna do if you ain't gonna call me telling
- 16:28Speaker 13: me take my chance?
- 16:29Speaker 4: Yet? I take rent over here? Okay?
- 16:31Speaker 13: How is everybody smelling my trash?
- 16:34Speaker 4: Out?
- 16:34Speaker 13: Of everybody on it?
- 16:35Speaker 4: See, I don't know from my understanding, there's a couple
- 16:39Speaker 4: of holes in it. There's some food or something must
- 16:41Speaker 4: to got out. I don't know if if one of
- 16:43Speaker 4: the roads or dog got in it, or what the
- 16:45Speaker 4: case may be. But you know, we need to try
- 16:47Speaker 4: to get your trash in the backyard.
- 16:49Speaker 13: My chass ain't going no damn well, and how come
- 16:52Speaker 13: you the one you the fuson of this? How come
- 16:55Speaker 13: I nixt old neighbor ain't called? How come yo around
- 16:58Speaker 13: the corner and you called? Who put you?
- 17:00Speaker 4: What? Everybody's smelling it? I was just fortunate enough to
- 17:03Speaker 4: get your phone number, and I said, well, look, I
- 17:05Speaker 4: just gone and call it myself.
- 17:06Speaker 13: I'll tell you this.
- 17:07Speaker 4: You and hey, you my phone number.
- 17:10Speaker 13: Come take it out still then it ain't going nowhere flat.
- 17:13Speaker 4: Okay, Well listen, let's swerve. This week. We decided on
- 17:16Speaker 4: the case we got to this situation with you, I'll
- 17:19Speaker 4: put that I'll just come over there and put the
- 17:21Speaker 4: trash in your backyard, and just tuesday morning and Tuesday morning,
- 17:25Speaker 4: I'll come back over there and take it out that way.
- 17:27Speaker 4: All the smell of be in your backyard in the
- 17:30Speaker 4: you said, you go what, I'm gonna come over there
- 17:32Speaker 4: and put the trash in your backyard. So the so
- 17:35Speaker 4: the smell that fuck it, I mean, that's that's.
- 17:38Speaker 13: Let me tell Let me take you this said, if
- 17:40Speaker 13: you come over here, you might well call Ponice.
- 17:42Speaker 9: That's who you gonna need.
- 17:43Speaker 8: You come over here.
- 17:44Speaker 13: Bring all they had a problem saying my trash team
- 17:48Speaker 13: to come over here and take it out.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Well, you you, I mean you, you're trying. You're trying
- 17:51Speaker 4: to you trying to act like it. Don't smell, man,
- 17:53Speaker 4: I don't give it.
- 17:54Speaker 13: If it's mell, I'll tell you what I do. I'll
- 17:56Speaker 13: go out to pull slow myself with that.
- 17:58Speaker 8: Where that where that helped you out.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Of Look okay, but see that's not what the people

- 35:30Speaker 11: feeling it saying.
- 35:31Speaker 1: But he did a post.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Now I will say this.
- 35:34Speaker 1: He did post I'm getting cooked on social media. Yeah,
- 35:37Speaker 1: so he getting cooked in the secondary too. Coming up
- 35:46Speaker 1: in twenty minutes after the hour, we're going to talk

- 35:51Speaker 5: You're listening Hardy Morning Show right now.
- 35:54Speaker 11: You know, lots of college freshmen are buying stuff for
- 35:57Speaker 11: their dorm rooms. They're packing up the car. They're heading
- 36:00Speaker 11: off to college to begin a new chapter in life.
- 36:02Speaker 11: That's what they're doing. So here's a question for you
- 36:04Speaker 11: for today, if you could. Guys, if you could, what
- 36:08Speaker 11: would you tell your college freshman self about the journey
- 36:11Speaker 11: you were about to embark on.
- 36:17Speaker 12: Boy, you about to act a damn fold up? God
- 36:22Speaker 12: doog oo. You ain't got the report to nobody who

- 37:03Speaker 1: You're not gonna go to class.
- 37:05Speaker 6: You know, why are you signing up for any of
- 37:10Speaker 6: these classes? The basic requirements? You can't even complete that psychology?
- 37:16Speaker 6: What I'm down there for?
- 37:17Speaker 9: Man?
- 37:20Speaker 6: American literature?
- 37:22Speaker 4: Me?
- 37:22Speaker 6: American literature?
- 37:26Speaker 2: Is you crazy?
- 37:27Speaker 3: Right there?
- 37:28Speaker 1: Like math classes like algebra, geometry, trig.
- 37:32Speaker 6: I shouldn't have taken in high school. I was then
- 37:34Speaker 6: with math right after arithmetic. I'm telling you right now,
- 37:37Speaker 6: the only thing I was interested in it was arithmetic, addition, subtraction, multiplication,
- 37:45Speaker 6: and division. That's all I needed. And I needed to
- 37:48Speaker 6: know how to move that decimal over and so I
- 37:50Speaker 6: can get to them. Since that's all I needed, I
- 37:53Speaker 6: ain't us nothing else. Since why is we and algebra?
- 37:59Speaker 3: What are we?
- 37:59Speaker 2: Physical? What are you talking about? What you're talking to me? Fault?
- 38:04Speaker 2: Never used it?
- 38:05Speaker 1: Never use English?
- 38:07Speaker 2: English?
- 38:08Speaker 3: English?
- 38:09Speaker 2: Listen to me, Shun you think I can listen? Listen
- 38:14Speaker 2: to me, and and we sound like we can't.
- 38:21Speaker 6: I've given motivational speeches. People have paid to hear me
- 38:25Speaker 6: as a motivational and I've watched them when I've said
- 38:28Speaker 6: certain things. I've watched them go.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Don't tell them their pain, Okay, Oh.
- 38:38Speaker 6: I ain't now, Steve, you better say it like that.
- 38:43Speaker 1: No science or anything by all, none of that.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I mean, we took it. I took it.
- 38:52Speaker 10: Many signs I needed surely with how to cook the
- 38:54Speaker 10: ramen noodle, that's what I he I need to know
- 38:57Speaker 10: that what temperature do these boil at?
- 38:59Speaker 2: That's all I do.
- 39:00Speaker 6: Miss the dust to dawn, Dan says, we will go
- 39:03Speaker 6: in at dusk and come out at dawn. That was
- 39:05Speaker 6: really an important part of my life.
- 39:09Speaker 11: All right, thanks guys, coming up with thirty four minutes
- 39:11Speaker 11: after the hour.
- 39:12Speaker 1: We're gonna check Steve's voicemail right after this.
- 39:15Speaker 5: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:19Speaker 11: It is time now to check your voicemail Steve at
- 39:22Speaker 11: eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve, you should call us
- 39:24Speaker 11: if you want to leave a message for Steve, and
- 39:26Speaker 11: you might just hear your call on the air.
- 39:28Speaker 4: Now.
- 39:29Speaker 11: Steve, remember earlier this week when we talked about Houston
- 39:32Speaker 11: Texans quarterback CJ.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Stroud struggle.
- 39:35Speaker 11: He wanted to stop using profanity, stop cursing, and Steve,
- 39:39Speaker 11: you of course over shared.
- 39:40Speaker 2: As you do. You overshare it with us.
- 39:42Speaker 11: You're no profanity withdrawal, physical symptoms. So we have a
- 39:46Speaker 11: caller who left a voicemail on that.
- 39:49Speaker 6: Okay.
- 39:49Speaker 9: Hey, mister Steve Harvey, you made a comment about stop
- 39:52Speaker 9: cursing you was compilated and had headaches. Well, I went
- 39:55Speaker 9: through the same thing when I was trying to quit cigarette,
- 39:57Speaker 9: got compelsated, headache, and so all it is is a
- 40:01Speaker 9: form of transformation that you gotta go through. When I
- 40:03Speaker 9: say you can't put new stuff in old bottles, wine, bottle,
- 40:08Speaker 9: so yousually got to go through that transformation in order
- 40:11Speaker 9: to come out.
- 40:11Speaker 12: New on the end, Thank you having breathsake Amen, Amen
- 40:16Speaker 12: again fixed your face.
- 40:19Speaker 2: What you got to say that shoes figure out.
- 40:30Speaker 1: He's identifying with you.
- 40:33Speaker 2: That happened.
- 40:35Speaker 1: When he tried to stop cigarettes, like it happened to you.
- 40:38Speaker 6: When you think all I heard was I'm trying to
- 40:40Speaker 6: quit spokes a cigarette wet it can't put no old
- 40:42Speaker 6: wine and yeah in the whole bottom. Hey, what are
- 40:47Speaker 6: we going with this hit? I don't think CJ is
- 40:51Speaker 6: being helped at this point. I think I think she's
- 40:54Speaker 6: gonna be cussing for a while.
- 40:55Speaker 11: Sound all right, all right, We're gonna move on to
- 40:59Speaker 11: Danielle and Virginia. She left a vote message about young
- 41:03Speaker 11: people voting.
- 41:04Speaker 8: Steve, Hello, good morning, Sam. This is Danielle from Gainesville, Virginia.
- 41:11Speaker 15: Nephew just wanted to say, great job holding it down.
- 41:14Speaker 15: He drove the ship.
- 41:15Speaker 4: Great job.
- 41:16Speaker 8: I have a question for mister Harvey. Can you please
- 41:19Speaker 8: give some word of encouragement for us young voters or
- 41:23Speaker 8: not young voters, voters in general. They're a little discouraged
- 41:26Speaker 8: about this election or let me explain why when Hillary
- 41:30Speaker 8: ran against Trump, Hillary won the popular vote, but she
- 41:34Speaker 8: still lost the election. That places people like.
- 41:38Speaker 15: Me in a position of not wanting to vote because
- 41:42Speaker 15: I feel like, what good is it going to be
- 41:45Speaker 15: if a white woman can love against Trump?
- 41:48Speaker 8: That just seems like it would make it ten times
- 41:50Speaker 8: harder for a black woman to win against Trump.
- 41:52Speaker 15: Not saying it's impossible, but it does put a little
- 41:56Speaker 15: discouragement in me. For example, for voters like me going
- 42:00Speaker 15: to vote. I'm not saying I'm not going to vote,
- 42:02Speaker 15: but it does discourage me. It does make me just
- 42:05Speaker 15: kind of say, well, you know, what are our chances
- 42:08Speaker 15: If Hillary can win the popular but still lose the election.
- 42:12Speaker 15: What are we up against this race?
- 42:13Speaker 8: So can you please send some words of encouragement or
- 42:17Speaker 8: enlightenment for people like me? Thank you, I'm black, You're back.
- 42:20Speaker 15: Hope you enjoyed your time off.
- 42:21Speaker 4: Bye guys.
- 42:23Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly, And that's a great question. First of all,
- 42:27Speaker 6: I felt the exact same way you feel towards Madame
- 42:32Speaker 6: Vice President Kamala beating the opposition. I felt the same
- 42:37Speaker 6: way when Obama, when Barack Obama ran because I didn't
- 42:41Speaker 6: think in my lifetime that I would see a black
- 42:43Speaker 6: man as a president of the United States. Now that's
- 42:46Speaker 6: because I didn't see it. What God saw was completely different,
- 42:50Speaker 6: and thus we had completely different results. So once again
- 42:54Speaker 6: we are faced on the cusp of something great happening
- 42:58Speaker 6: again as long as we do our part. Here's why
- 43:01Speaker 6: you have to vote, because do you understand what we
- 43:06Speaker 6: are up against right now is we are not just
- 43:09Speaker 6: battling the popular vote. We are battling the electorial That's
- 43:14Speaker 6: why we are fighting so hard for the battleground states
- 43:18Speaker 6: to be won. Minnesota, Michigan, Philadelphia, Georgia, Arizona, Yeah, yeah, Philly, Pennsylvania.
- 43:29Speaker 6: Those are the battleground states. That's where we can lose
- 43:34Speaker 6: and that's where he won before in those battleground states.
- 43:40Speaker 6: Now last time, the last election where he lost to Biden,
- 43:44Speaker 6: we won. Georgia, we won Philly and we won Arizona.
- 43:50Speaker 6: We have got to repeat that in the electorial so
- 43:55Speaker 6: that the popular vote stands. I understand your discourage, what
- 44:00Speaker 6: you meant, but understand we can fight if we fight
- 44:04Speaker 6: the good fight and the smart fight.
- 44:06Speaker 11: All right, thank you guys. Coming up next, it is
- 44:08Speaker 11: a nephew and today's prank phone call. Right after this
- 44:12Speaker 11: you're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Coming up at the.
- 44:16Speaker 11: Top of the hour, right about four minutes after, it's
- 44:19Speaker 11: my strawberry letter for today and the subject is his
- 44:22Speaker 11: daughter gets better.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Gifts than I do. Wait till you hear this letter.
- 44:26Speaker 11: We'll get into it in just a few because right
- 44:28Speaker 11: now it is the nephew's time with today's prank phone call.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Nephew, it's time for stupid Shirley. It's time for it.
- 44:35Speaker 2: It's tank.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Uh.
- 44:37Speaker 12: You know, it happens. It doesn't happen that often, but
- 44:40Speaker 12: it happens. What and uh, you know sometimes, you know,
- 44:43Speaker 12: with things like this, you gotta you gotta give somebody
- 44:45Speaker 12: heads up, you know. So we're gonna make the call
- 44:47Speaker 12: right now that Hey, one of your twins is mad.
- 44:51Speaker 12: You understand one of your twins. It didn't it can happen.
- 44:55Speaker 2: It can help. I've done the research. It can open.
- 44:59Speaker 2: One of your twins is man.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Okay, research research, Just.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Has anybody know you? One of your twins is man.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Let's go catch out.

- 45:52Speaker 4: you in? Do you? You do y'all have kids together?
- 45:56Speaker 4: What do you all have children together? Yeah? I got
- 45:59Speaker 4: kids from Keira?
- 45:59Speaker 2: Man.
- 46:00Speaker 4: How you get my number? Man said, yeah? How do
- 46:03Speaker 4: you get my number? Hey? Bro, I ain't trying to
- 46:05Speaker 4: have no beef with you, man, It ain't. It ain't
- 46:07Speaker 4: nothing like that. I'm just do y'all do you bet
- 46:10Speaker 4: of a set of twins? Yeah, man, we got a
- 46:13Speaker 4: set of twins.
- 46:14Speaker 7: Man, But waiting, hold on, dog, why are you calling me?
- 46:16Speaker 4: Man? Whatever?
- 46:16Speaker 7: You indeed, Man, that's you do. But what you're asking
- 46:20Speaker 7: me about my kids?
- 46:21Speaker 4: Fun? Man? Okay, bro it is. I mean, I don't
- 46:24Speaker 4: even know how to break this on you, but I'm
- 46:26Speaker 4: just gonna just put it out there. Okay. Just just
- 46:28Speaker 4: hit me out, man, just hit me out. It's been
- 46:31Speaker 4: brought to my attention that there is a strong possibility
- 46:36Speaker 4: that one of the twins is mine. Oh you crazy?
- 46:41Speaker 4: The man who you say you is? Again? Man, this
- 46:44Speaker 4: Kendrick Man. Man.
- 46:45Speaker 7: Look, man, I'll call my hospitist. Man, how twin gonna
- 46:48Speaker 7: be yours?
- 46:49Speaker 4: Man? Ain't my twins? Man? Hey? Man, I found out
- 46:52Speaker 4: and I thought I thought the same thing you thought, Tony.
- 46:55Speaker 4: I was like, okay, man, that doesn't even biologically possible,
- 46:58Speaker 4: That's what I thought. But I found out that two
- 47:00Speaker 4: seeds could actually join together create twins, and each one
- 47:04Speaker 4: of them could have a different daddy. I'm finding this
- 47:06Speaker 4: out for the person for first hand myself. Oh man,
- 47:10Speaker 4: we ain't found man.
- 47:11Speaker 12: Man.

- 52:16Speaker 12: I just feel so qualified. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but but
- 52:21Speaker 12: I mean it's stupid in a great way. It's a

- 52:45Speaker 12: with that, rulee, but we're gonna wear white on Saturday night,
- 52:47Speaker 12: White on Saturday night.
- 52:49Speaker 2: All right, nephew, times you get put out, leave with that.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Yeah, Chicago too, with the white.
- 52:56Speaker 6: Yeah, all white. That's where it came from because fall

- 53:03Speaker 6: done in fashion. Now they're over with. But that's where Kate.

- 54:00Speaker 2: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 54:01Speaker 4: We got it for you.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Here. It is Strawberry letta.
- 54:04Speaker 11: Thank you nephew subject his daughter gets better gifts than
- 54:08Speaker 11: I do. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a wife and a
- 54:12Speaker 11: bonus mom to two teenagers, and my husband has a
- 54:15Speaker 11: good co parenting relationship with his ex wife. His fourteen
- 54:20Speaker 11: year old son lives with us. His seventeen year old
- 54:23Speaker 11: daughter is living with her mother. She turned seventeen on
- 54:27Speaker 11: July thirtieth, and that is what prompted me to write
- 54:30Speaker 11: in for your Opinion. My husband told me that we
- 54:33Speaker 11: were buying his daughter a car for her birthday, but
- 54:36Speaker 11: he did not tell me it was going to be
- 54:38Speaker 11: a car that's better than both of our cars. It's
- 54:42Speaker 11: a sporty coop with too much horsepower for a teenager.
- 54:45Speaker 11: He defended his decision to buy it because she did
- 54:48Speaker 11: not get a car for her sixteenth birthday like her
- 54:51Speaker 11: friends did. He took me to the dealership to pick
- 54:54Speaker 11: up the car, and I thought I was getting pranked
- 54:58Speaker 11: and the car was for me. He made me drive
- 55:00Speaker 11: his old car back home because he didn't want any
- 55:03Speaker 11: damage on his princess's car. I cried all the way
- 55:07Speaker 11: to the house. I'm jealous and hurt that he values
- 55:11Speaker 11: his daughter more than he values me. It's always been
- 55:15Speaker 11: like this. He gives her a teddy bear and some
- 55:18Speaker 11: kind of jewelry for Valentine's Day every year, and all
- 55:21Speaker 11: I get is a card and dinner, no card or
- 55:25Speaker 11: anything for Christmas. She gets everything on her list. We
- 55:31Speaker 11: can't afford her lifestyle, and I am tired of paying
- 55:34Speaker 11: credit card bills. Her mom called me to discuss the car.
- 55:38Speaker 11: She thinks it is inappropriate too, and she told me
- 55:41Speaker 11: that my husband might be trying to buy their daughter's
- 55:44Speaker 11: love because she knew about his infidelity. She said that
- 55:48Speaker 11: their daughter knows that I was the side chick for years.
- 55:52Speaker 11: I never looked at it that way. Is this punishment
- 55:56Speaker 11: for me because I helped to end his marriage or
- 55:59Speaker 11: is this a typical daddy daughter bond that's unbreakable?
- 56:03Speaker 1: Please advise? Okay, well, I'm just gonna say this.
- 56:08Speaker 11: I was feeling some kind of way about all of this,
- 56:11Speaker 11: you know, kind of on your side at first, until
- 56:14Speaker 11: I got to the bottom of this letter and you
- 56:16Speaker 11: said you were the side chick that helped end his marriage.
- 56:20Speaker 2: What do you expect?
- 56:22Speaker 1: I mean, this is an entirely different situation.
- 56:24Speaker 9: Now.
- 56:24Speaker 11: This is more than just a daddy doting over his
- 56:27Speaker 11: daughter and spoiling his daughter. His ex wife, the woman
- 56:31Speaker 11: he left for you told you that the daughter knew
- 56:34Speaker 11: for years he was.
- 56:35Speaker 2: Cheating with you.
- 56:37Speaker 1: What she didn't say is how her daughter knew, And
- 56:40Speaker 1: I think that's key in this letter. Did she catch him?
- 56:43Speaker 1: Was she traumatized by it all?
- 56:44Speaker 4: We don't know.
- 56:45Speaker 1: You didn't tell us that part.
- 56:47Speaker 11: But I think this is about him trying to make
- 56:50Speaker 11: up for his cheating by, like his ex wife said,
- 56:54Speaker 11: trying to buy his daughter's love.
- 56:56Speaker 1: This is what guilt looks like.
- 56:58Speaker 11: And I think you know that he's trying to make
- 57:01Speaker 11: his daughter not think he's a bad dad because he
- 57:04Speaker 11: cheated and left the family for you. That in and
- 57:08Speaker 11: of itself is unusual, because that hardly ever happens to
- 57:11Speaker 11: side chicks where the husband marries them.
- 57:13Speaker 1: The woman that he was cheating on his wife with.
- 57:16Speaker 11: You don't say how long you guys have been married,
- 57:18Speaker 11: but she's only seventeen the daughter, and I really don't
- 57:21Speaker 11: see the extravagant gifts stopping anytime soon again because of
- 57:25Speaker 11: the guilt he feels, he may have married you, but
- 57:28Speaker 11: clearly his daughter is number one. I mean you even
- 57:31Speaker 11: said that, and this will continue to be a problem
- 57:34Speaker 11: for you. But I say, don't suffer in silence. You
- 57:36Speaker 11: wrote us. Now you got to bring it up to
- 57:38Speaker 11: him so you guys can deal with it. But I
- 57:40Speaker 11: would just tell you this lower your expectations.
- 57:44Speaker 14: Steve.
- 57:45Speaker 6: Great answer, Shirley, Absolutely great.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Asser.
- 57:48Speaker 6: I agree with everything you said, one hundred percent. I'm
- 57:51Speaker 6: just looking at this letter. I don't I don't this
- 57:54Speaker 6: one got some twisting turns in it. Di justah, yeah,
- 57:59Speaker 6: I don't know what you want, old lady, you know
- 58:01Speaker 6: you kind of I'm just reading this letter, you know,
- 58:04Speaker 6: I'm like, Shirley, I was with you. You know you
- 58:07Speaker 6: you were you were you were you you the you,
- 58:09Speaker 6: the wife, your ex her. I mean, your husband has
- 58:13Speaker 6: a great co parenting relationship with the ex. Got the
- 58:17Speaker 6: fourteen year old boy to live with y'all, and and
- 58:19Speaker 6: uh and the seventeen year old girl to live with
- 58:21Speaker 6: the mother. Okay, cool, all right? And your husband told
- 58:25Speaker 6: you that he was buying his daughter a car for
- 58:28Speaker 6: her birthday, and what he didn't tell you that the
- 58:32Speaker 6: car that they was gonna buy was better than the
- 58:35Speaker 6: car that both of y'all got. That ain't finna happen.
- 58:38Speaker 6: I'm just gonna tell you that right there, that that
- 58:40Speaker 6: that's about as crazy as you come. Right here now,
- 58:43Speaker 6: I don't know how my child I just done that.
- 58:46Speaker 6: That's ignorant on so many levels. I'm not fit to
- 58:50Speaker 6: buy my child a car that's better than the one
- 58:54Speaker 6: I got. I damn show ain't fit to walk in
- 58:58Speaker 6: here and get my child a car better than the
- 59:01Speaker 6: war on my wife driving. Okay, he done lost his
- 59:05Speaker 6: ever loving ass mind for that, and they went to
- 59:09Speaker 6: pick it up. It's a sporty coop, too much horsepower
- 59:12Speaker 6: for a teenager. And he defended the decision by telling
- 59:16Speaker 6: you because he didn't get her a car for her
- 59:18Speaker 6: sixteen Oh, okay, I got news for you. I should
- 59:22Speaker 6: have been wrote this letter on my mom and daddy
- 59:24Speaker 6: a long time ago, because they didn't ever get me
- 59:26Speaker 6: no damn car. So I'm just pissed off at this
- 59:29Speaker 6: letter right here. Damn the sixteenth, I didn't get nothing
- 59:32Speaker 6: for the twenty fifth, twenty eight, thirty thirty fifth. I'm
- 59:36Speaker 6: just so mad at they ass now so anyway, and
- 59:41Speaker 6: he took you to the dealership to pick up the
- 59:43Speaker 6: car and you thought you was getting pranked, that you
- 59:46Speaker 6: thought the car was for you. He made me drive
- 59:49Speaker 6: his old car back home because he didn't want any
- 59:51Speaker 6: damage to his prince's car. I cried all the way
- 59:54Speaker 6: to the house. I'm with you on all this here,
- 59:57Speaker 6: and I still stand on what I said. My child
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: cannot get a better, more expensive car than me. Not
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: done even how his work. Now you say, I'm jealous
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: and hurt that he values his daughter more than he
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: values you. And when we come back, I'm gonna tell
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: you what the real problem is and how I might
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: handle it.
- 1:00:20Speaker 11: All right, Steve, hang on, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:22Speaker 11: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the
- 1:00:24Speaker 11: hour of The subject is his daughter gets better gifts
- 1:00:28Speaker 11: than I do.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:34Speaker 11: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:37Speaker 11: The subject his daughter gets better gifts than I do.
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: She's got a co parenting relationship with her husband, his
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: ex wife's and their child live with them. Fourteen year
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: old boy, seventeen year old girl lives with the mother.
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: That great co parenting problem is he buys this girl everything.
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: And he bought a new car for her seventeenth birthday
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: without telling her and took her down to the dealership
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: and what tripped her out was a sporty high house
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: horsepower car and she thought the car was for her
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: and it wasn't. And it's a car that's better than
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: both the car that the mother drives and her husband drives,
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: so he'd bought his daughter car that's better than both
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: of them. Then he made the ex wife drive his
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: old car home while he drove a new one to
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: the house because he ain't want nothing happened to it.
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: This lady cries all the way home. She feels like
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: he values the daughter's relationship more than he values their
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: relationship and justified it by saying he's buying this expensive
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: car because she didn't get a car for her sixteenth
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: birthday like her friends did. That really stung me personally,
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: because my mama and them didn't get me no car
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: for sixty or thirty fifth birthday. And I'm really boomstarted
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: more pissed off by this as I read this letter.
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: I'm mad as hell and my mama thought about this
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: here now because I didn't even know I was supposed
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: to get no damn card sixteen. Tell you clearly, I
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: remember exactly what I had on my sixteenth birthday. Yeah,
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: I had bought myself a brand new English Racer eighty
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: seven dollars from May Company. Had that in layaway because
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: I had to work and get there anyway. Long story short,
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: So now you get home crazy, and he feels she
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: feels like he values a daughter's relationship more than hers,
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: and it's always been like this. He gives her a
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: Teddy Bear some kind of jewelry on Valentine's Day every year,
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: and all I get is a card and dinner. I
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: don't get no card or anything for Christmas. She gets
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: everything on her list. We can't afford her lifestyle, and
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: I'm tired of paying credit card bills. Now here's the
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: key to this whole letter. Her mother, the girl's mother,
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: his ex wife, called this lady to discover us the car.
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: Now the mother agrees and thinks it's inappropriate too to
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: buy such a car. Now all the adults is against
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: the car except him. So now the daughter probably got it,
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: got it. The daughter got a better card than the
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: lady that wrote the letter, But it got a better
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: card than her husband, and now I got a better
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: car in the ex wife. Oh, everybody in the letter
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: pissed off. So now she told me that her husband
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: might be trying to buy her daughter's love because she
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: knew about his infidelity. Shirley said, how would.
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: She know that?
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: Well, because the mama told her that. You better believe her.
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: Daddy didn't tell her. The father didn't go in there
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: and tell it. The mother told her about the infidelity.
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: And it's odd that she would call you under the
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: let's car. I'm gonta say disguised because I know there's
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: a word for it that you're supposed to use. But
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: she gonna hide her real intent for calling you by
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: saying I think the car is inappropriate too. But she
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: really wanted to stain your ass with the information and
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: the reason she buying him this car, because your husband
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: might be trying to buy our daughter's love because she
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: knew about y'all's infidelity. She said, her daughter knows that
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: I was a side chick for years. Then she said
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: this surprising statement, I never looked at it that way.
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: You know, lady, what you ain't finna do is be hurt.
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: And then all of a sudden, get real stupid in
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: your letter? Now you analyzing everything else? Now, all of
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: a sudden, stupid just took over. I never looked at
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: my daughter knows. Their daughter knows. I was a side
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: chick for years. I never looked at it.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Side piece thoughts.
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: I love it? Well?
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: Are you crazy? I didn't know Popeye's had re.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: He's all right, she tried to trick us.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: You mean to tell me camc.
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: Sir slow, is this punishment for me because I helped
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: to end his marriage? Or is this a typical daddy
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: daughter bond that's unbreakable? Please advise. Let me tell you something.
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: I have a hard time telling my daughter's No, my
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: daughters can call me for anything, and I pretty much
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: would do it. Tommy, No, the same thing. But now
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: let me explain something. Though you're not finna get no
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: damn car that cost mode in my car, I bet
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: you that you got my driveway right now. Matter of fact,
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: you better not pull up in something look just like mine,
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: because I'm trying to figure out what hell going on now.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: So let's just start there. Have all my daughter's gotten
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: cars from me?
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: Absolutely? Was any of them cars better than the one
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: I'm driving. Hell No, now, have I had to explain
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: some of my past transgressions to my kids?
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: I could have, but I haven't.
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: Okay, I ain't gotta tell you damn thing. Me and
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: your mommy aid together called well, me and your mommy
- 1:06:18Speaker 6: aid to get We ain't work out.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: That's not what happened.
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: What it is, We ain't work out the whole that
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: had been about me ever since they brought this girl
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: in this car. Sixteen, My mama and daddy didn't buy me,
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: no damn car. I ain't get a call when out
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: sixteen twenty twenty five, thirty thirty five, I ain't get up.
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: I ain't get a new call out at thirty eight.

- 1:07:11Speaker 10: And I'm telling you right now, Mark, you know you
- 1:07:13Speaker 10: got time to wash all the medals giving out.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: But do you know your playbook though the middle back
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: of high fire fire you had left the field.
- 1:07:22Speaker 10: You just go got the call up because you thought
- 1:07:24Speaker 10: it was a fire side that you just started up
- 1:07:26Speaker 10: the left. Now, but ten people on the field because
- 1:07:28Speaker 10: you ad the left wide receiver wire over touchdown.
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: Lightning lightning.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: You didn't went in there.
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: You didn't went in the whole field.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: House just clipped for cover.
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: You ain't even out there the field touchdown that point,
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: I bet you did.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: You go ahead when you say lightning lightning? Is that
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: like the car?
- 1:07:47Speaker 10: Now he's the deep ferred he asked left the field
- 1:07:49Speaker 10: because he thought of the lightning.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Oh that's what that means. Was a signal?
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: Know what he's supposed to do?
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: Five fight one.
- 1:07:57Speaker 10: He's supposed to have a flat Oh yeah, oh yeah,
- 1:07:59Speaker 10: he just all eating cookies.
- 1:08:03Speaker 9: Too.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: That's not very Hall of Fame.
- 1:08:05Speaker 10: Like last time for your Olympic hood report.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Thank you, Julia.
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: It's very very short this morning. The Olympic Hood report
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: is very very short because there were no hood events
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: involved in the Olympics on yesterday, that was a day
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: off from track and field. But let me give you
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: the hood update. First of all, beach volleyball, that's happening.
- 1:08:25Speaker 6: That's always white people until you go to Brazil and
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: then you see some people with some color on it.
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: But Lord her Mercy, the white folks, you can play
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: beach volleyball. I played beach volleyball before it, and it's
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: really hard because when you think you fit to run
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: your toes digging that saying as you fall, it's hard
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: to have top speed in saying, I'm telling you that
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: right now, which makes it a better sport for white
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: folks because you can't run at top speed in the saying. Thus,
- 1:08:51Speaker 6: ain't no need of putting black people out there, because
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: white people can go just as slow as they want. Anyway,
- 1:08:57Speaker 6: they got this new tape that they putting on people,
- 1:09:00Speaker 6: those bodies that put stripes on your body, supposed to
- 1:09:02Speaker 6: make you mo athletic. Hardly ever see black people with
- 1:09:05Speaker 6: that tape on. Wonder what's up with that congratulations called
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: kinetics tapes? If you slow and white by yourself some
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: kinetic tape and you two can play in the Olympics.
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: Also like to say congratulations to the skull people that's
- 1:09:17Speaker 6: running in the rowboats on their knees and paddling on
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: one side. I still don't know what the hell that about,
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: and don't give a damn who get the gold medal. Also,
- 1:09:25Speaker 6: water polo has been going on all white countries in
- 1:09:28Speaker 6: that too. I saw a black girl that's the goalie
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: for the United States team, but she ain't stopping a shot.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Also, we got the seven man rugby.
- 1:09:37Speaker 6: Is out there now. I don't even give a damn
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: about the eleven man rugby, so let loan the seventh
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: man rugby right there and last, but not these. I
- 1:09:45Speaker 6: watched the archery contest and a white man won that.
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: It's amazing how no Native Americans are in this who
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: I am sure would just be sweeping They ass with
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: this right here. But once again we took that from
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: them too. That has been the Hood and Olympics Report.
- 1:10:02Speaker 6: Thank you for joining us track and Field. We'll be
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: back on tomorrow.
- 1:10:05Speaker 15: Thank you, Thank you.
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: Steve.
- 1:10:07Speaker 11: With the HOOD Report coming up at the top of
- 1:10:09Speaker 11: the hour. A man needs some advice. He says, my
- 1:10:11Speaker 11: girlfriend flirts with everyone. We'll get into that right after this.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: You're listening morning show, all right?
- 1:10:21Speaker 11: Steve Gary on Facebook says, the woman that I've been
- 1:10:24Speaker 11: seeing for about six months is super beautiful and she's charming,
- 1:10:29Speaker 11: and I really think she could be the one. But
- 1:10:31Speaker 11: sometimes I can't tell if she's as serious about our
- 1:10:34Speaker 11: relationship as I am. She tells me we're exclusive, but
- 1:10:38Speaker 11: then she seems to flirt with guys all the time,
- 1:10:40Speaker 11: even when I'm standing right there. Maybe this is just
- 1:10:44Speaker 11: the way she is and I'm the one with the problem,
- 1:10:46Speaker 11: but I don't know if I can get past this.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Is this a normal thing with some people?
- 1:10:50Speaker 11: Do some women just come off like they're always flirting
- 1:10:53Speaker 11: with everyone?
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: No?
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: No, no, that ain't normal. And if it seemed like
- 1:11:01Speaker 6: she flirting with everybody, bruh, she's just a happy person
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: that smiles at people, then that's a different thing. But
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: but let me tell you stuff. You can't here, so
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: what you're doing, you know, you can you hear stuff
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: like that?
- 1:11:18Speaker 16: You know that's saying.
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: Yeah. Now if you hear her say stuff like you
- 1:11:24Speaker 6: ain't bring me no drink? Got muscles?
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Yeah? Wow, oh you got muscles?
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: That's a flirt at.
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: Now, she's just a person that smiles at other people
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: because some people you know me and takes oh man,
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: she feeling me. No, man, she's just happy, that's all.
- 1:11:47Speaker 6: But you know, if you if you're seeing her and
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: and you think she's openly flirting, that's the problem. You
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: could be into her more than she's into you. I
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: don't know.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: You know, you're the only reason. And you tolerating this.
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: It's cause she fine, is hey, that's that's it. But
- 1:12:06Speaker 6: I'm gonna tell you right now, old dog, you can
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: get some more fine though. That's not fine, and you
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: don't act right. That ain't worth a damn. That ain't damn.
- 1:12:17Speaker 12: How come I tell my walk in here you smiling
- 1:12:19Speaker 12: and skinning and Kiki and and his man pray?
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: What is all that about?
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: We have time for another one, Steve.
- 1:12:28Speaker 11: This is from Cebe on Steve Harvey f m Ptebe says,
- 1:12:32Speaker 11: I'm currently sleeping on my friend's couch because I got
- 1:12:35Speaker 11: kicked out of my last apartment. My friend says I
- 1:12:38Speaker 11: can only stay with him for another week, but I
- 1:12:40Speaker 11: don't have enough money to put down on an apartment.
- 1:12:43Speaker 11: I have a job, but barely make enough to survive,
- 1:12:45Speaker 11: and my car is on its last leg. I feel
- 1:12:49Speaker 11: like the universe is working against me and I don't
- 1:12:51Speaker 11: know what to do. How can I get myself out
- 1:12:54Speaker 11: of this situation?
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: Well, first of all, dog, I've been there before. You
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: know you gotta car, but you can't. First of all,
- 1:13:03Speaker 6: stop expecting everybody to help you get off that your
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: refugees and your relationship with God. I hate to tell
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: people that, but that's really the truth. And I don't
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: hate to tell people that because people keep looking for
- 1:13:16Speaker 6: something else. And if you keep looking for answers and
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: other people, then there you have it. Your friend and
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: said you can stay with him for another week. Now,
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: you just got kicked out your other place. Something wrong
- 1:13:26Speaker 6: with you though? Don't nobody want you staying with them?
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: You got kicked out your last apartment. Your homie are
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: goun to gain you one more week? And why is
- 1:13:36Speaker 6: the universe just me? First of all, I would self
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: examine and self check myself. What am I doing wrong?
- 1:13:43Speaker 6: Why I can't even stay?
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: No?
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: Damn well, I mean, bro, you done got kicked out
- 1:13:48Speaker 6: your last apartment. You didn't say why? Your friends say
- 1:13:51Speaker 6: you got one more week?
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: On his couch.
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: What you're doing wrong?
- 1:13:54Speaker 9: Bro?
- 1:13:55Speaker 6: Now you're working, but you don't make enough to barely.
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: I don't know what to tell you that. You're gonna
- 1:14:01Speaker 6: have to get you a little small uh you know,
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: stay k place, you know, homewood suite, Go stay there
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: for a few days with your next check. You know,
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: you got to find yourself a little studio apartment. You know,
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: you gotta do something. But you got to quit dependent
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: on other people.
- 1:14:18Speaker 12: See, everybody couch can't take that. He probably a big
- 1:14:21Speaker 12: ass do Everybody couch can't have that. That's too much
- 1:14:23Speaker 12: on them. I don't like everybody on my couch. Say
- 1:14:27Speaker 12: they need to get on the floor, get your get
- 1:14:29Speaker 12: your blanket and pilling, get.
- 1:14:30Speaker 6: On the floor.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: And you can't be on everybody couch.
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: Some of them something that you could be a fat
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: or skinny problem. It's messed up people in all weight classes.
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: But what you can't do being here is dipping my
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: couch though, that's.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: What stay here.
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: You eating up all the food and you damage your froniture.
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: You gotta get your fat ass up out of it.
- 1:14:54Speaker 11: On the Steve Harvey Morty Show coming up in twenty
- 1:14:57Speaker 11: minutes after he did not say anything about what call it.
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:15:08Speaker 11: All right, So Republican VP candidate JD Vance's campaign plane
- 1:15:13Speaker 11: and air Force too, that's VP Kamala Harris's plane. They
- 1:15:16Speaker 11: were all in the tarmac at the same time. This
- 1:15:18Speaker 11: went down in Wisconsin. They were all there at the
- 1:15:20Speaker 11: same time. Well, here goes Vans walking over to Air
- 1:15:23Speaker 11: Force two. While he was doing it, and he was
- 1:15:25Speaker 11: telling reporters that he wanted to see what his future
- 1:15:28Speaker 11: plane would look like.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: Van said he wanted to speak Uh huh. How arrogant
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: of him.
- 1:15:34Speaker 11: He said he wanted to speak outside of air Force too,
- 1:15:37Speaker 11: because he's going to fly around in the vice presidential
- 1:15:39Speaker 11: plane in just a few short months.
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: Say, you can always be speaking outside of air Force too,
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: always because you ain't getting in the plane and you

- 1:17:43Speaker 11: no crime? Would you rather live in a world where
- 1:17:45Speaker 11: there's no privacy.
- 1:17:47Speaker 6: No crime?
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: Man?
- 1:17:49Speaker 9: Oh?
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: Hell yeah, give me the no crime, privacy, necking and anything.

- 1:18:44Speaker 6: He the only one go to the carnifer that don't
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: get a snow.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: Cone in the summer.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: What are you canceling, nephew, I'm.
- 1:18:53Speaker 12: Canceling winter, but I'm gonna be wearing my sweaters and stuff.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: I'm canceling. Okay, I'm gonna I'm Sweaterland sometimes you're.
- 1:19:03Speaker 12: Gonna have I'm gonna be happy over there with Junior,
- 1:19:06Speaker 12: with just Turnle Necker owns.
- 1:19:08Speaker 6: I'm impressed that you be finding them fashionable close in
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: your size.
- 1:19:12Speaker 11: Would you rather compete in judo or would you rather
- 1:19:16Speaker 11: compete in wrestling at the Olympics?
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: Which one.
- 1:19:21Speaker 12: Way I'm getting my ass whip. Either way, I'm getting
- 1:19:24Speaker 12: my ass already.
- 1:19:27Speaker 6: Yeah, but at least in wrestling. But judo they be
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: grabbing your clothes and everything. Look at your ass off.
- 1:19:34Speaker 11: Thanks, guys, that's today's rounded. Would you rather coming up
- 1:19:37Speaker 11: in forty nine? Minutes after, we'll close out the show
- 1:19:40Speaker 11: with the one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this,
- 1:19:43Speaker 11: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here
- 1:19:47Speaker 11: we are last break of the day and it's time
- 1:19:49Speaker 11: to close out the show closing remarks with the one
- 1:19:51Speaker 11: and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:19:53Speaker 6: Hey, you know, a young lady called in earlier today
- 1:19:57Speaker 6: and was talking about, Uh, she was going to vote,
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: but so many young people are depressed about to vote
- 1:20:03Speaker 6: because they think they vote don't matter. She said, because
- 1:20:07Speaker 6: if Hillary Clinton won the popular vote but she lost
- 1:20:10Speaker 6: the electoral what's the use of us voting? And it
- 1:20:15Speaker 6: was really really a fair question. I didn't think when
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: Barack Obama ran for president that he was going to win.
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: I voted for him, but I didn't think in my
- 1:20:26Speaker 6: lifetime I was going to see a black man be
- 1:20:29Speaker 6: become the president of the United States. And now we're
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: on the cusp of watching another first possibly that has
- 1:20:37Speaker 6: real potential. This woman could become and has a very
- 1:20:42Speaker 6: strong chance of becoming the first female to win the
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: presidency of the United States and the first black woman
- 1:20:51Speaker 6: to win the presidency of the United States. Now, in
- 1:20:54Speaker 6: my lifetime, if you think I didn't think that was
- 1:20:56Speaker 6: possible for a black man. I really never even think
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: thought of this. But here we are again. And it's amazing, man,
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: because I think of Martin Luther King's speech oftentime mountaintop.
- 1:21:09Speaker 6: He said, I may not get there with you, but
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: we as a people will get to the mountaintop. And
- 1:21:15Speaker 6: I've watched us do some incredible things after this man's death.
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: But I want to say to young people out there
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: and everybody out there that's listening, your vote does matter.
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: I'm gonna show you something. Your vote does matter.
- 1:21:31Speaker 11: See.
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: The reason your vote matter is because it does affect
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: the popular vote, but it also affects the electoral vote.
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: See.
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: The reason they had the electoral vote in the beginning
- 1:21:46Speaker 6: is when the North fought the South Civil War and
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: they split the country North. In the South, the South
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: felt like in order for them to get rights, and
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: they were less populated in states like Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana.
- 1:21:58Speaker 6: They wanted to have as much say so as the
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: northern states. So if they won the popular vote, their
- 1:22:03Speaker 6: electoral vote would count the same as a more populated state.
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: That was the purpose of it. But if you win
- 1:22:11Speaker 6: the popular vote in that state, you can control the
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: electoral in that state, you are valuable. Listen to me, y'all.
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: The biggest lie they've e've helped to perpetuate is that
- 1:22:26Speaker 6: our vote doesn't count.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: That and let me tell you something.
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: They help perpetuate that lie by propping us up every
- 1:22:35Speaker 6: format they can to saying we don't stand a chance
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: they're voting. Our vote don't count. They get behind that
- 1:22:41Speaker 6: stuff on Facebook they push out as they prompt that agenda.
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: But let me show you the trick they using.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: Though.
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: If our vote don't count, why does Donald Trump keep
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: saying he's done more for black people since Abraham Lincoln?
- 1:22:58Speaker 6: If our vote count, why is Donald Trump always somewhere
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: trying to get the black vote? Why at every Trump
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: rally do you see black people strategically placed in the
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: background of all of his rallies. You know what, those
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: people who stand in those positions, they're placed there by
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. That's politics. Those
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: people you see at the rallies are placed in those
- 1:23:28Speaker 6: camera seats. And why do you think if the black
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: vote don't count, you always got some black people behind
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: Donald Trump at all of his rallies.
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: That's because your black vote counts.
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: Man, Why do you keep seeing them prop up every
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: chance they get Blacks for Trump? Why is it that
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: you keep seeing that no matter where you go? Because
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: they know our vote counts. They know that we can
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: make the decision in this election because we made it
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: in the last one.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: They know how valuable you are.
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: We have always been made to think we are less
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: than who we are, when all along they've known the
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: truth about us. It's just that we got to quit
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: believing the lie about us. We all of that and
- 1:24:18Speaker 6: a bag of chips, and everybody know it. So why
- 1:24:21Speaker 6: we don't know that about ourselves? Our vote is critical.
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: That's why everybody wanted Donald Trump included why did Donald
- 1:24:30Speaker 6: Trump even show up at the NABJ, the National Association
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: of Black Journalists? Why would he even go there? And
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: then when they asked him the hard questions, he's so
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: hateful and so ignorant towards black people. He want the
- 1:24:44Speaker 6: black woman fired if I would fire her? She asked
