- 1:42Speaker 1: you got to turn them out. Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Come, come on your fad uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shall will Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man o man o man hey,
- 2:17Speaker 1: you know to date, I just want to say something,
- 2:20Speaker 1: UM that I don't think i've ever shared this way before. UM.
- 2:31Speaker 1: The title is very simple, and that is it's been
- 2:38Speaker 1: worth it to me? You know. I just I just
- 2:44Speaker 1: kept thinking that this morning, that it's all been worth
- 2:48Speaker 1: it to me. And what I mean by that is
- 2:51Speaker 1: this relationship that I have with my heavenly father, it's
- 2:58Speaker 1: been worth it to me. I can't even tell you
- 3:03Speaker 1: the value that it has had in my life. I
- 3:10Speaker 1: can't tell you how it's helped me to understand not
- 3:16Speaker 1: only my purpose, but to better understand my past. That's
- 3:24Speaker 1: that's that's critical, man, because I'm grateful for that, because
- 3:29Speaker 1: so many people can't get beyond their past and event
- 3:34Speaker 1: a set of circumstances, some calamity that been sets them.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Maybe it's been grief something, but it ties so many
- 3:42Speaker 1: people up. It's been so worth it to me it, man,
- 3:50Speaker 1: it's it's been worth having someone to go to when
- 3:57Speaker 1: no one else was there. Do you do you understand
- 4:02Speaker 1: what I'm saying it has It has given me a
- 4:06Speaker 1: place to go when no one else has been there.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Oh hey man, we're pulling for you. Hey man, hanging there,
- 4:17Speaker 1: Hey man, keep your head up all of that. But
- 4:21Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, man, you get yourself in some
- 4:25Speaker 1: circumstances and situations in this thing called life when no
- 4:29Speaker 1: one can help you but God, When the only person
- 4:32Speaker 1: that could possibly understand or know what you're feeling is God.
- 4:37Speaker 1: The only person that I'll sit there with you through
- 4:40Speaker 1: it all and understand everything about it has been God.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's been worth it to me, man, It's it's been
- 4:50Speaker 1: worth it to me. It's been the biggest improvement in
- 4:56Speaker 1: my life. I mean, man, as I look back over
- 5:00Speaker 1: my life and forming a strong bond with God has
- 5:05Speaker 1: been the most beneficial thing to me. You know, these
- 5:10Speaker 1: things you read in your in your your in writings
- 5:14Speaker 1: in the Bible or or whatever you're reading. You know,
- 5:17Speaker 1: when you when you read scriptures and things of that nature.
- 5:21Speaker 1: It it's it's been around a long time. It holds
- 5:27Speaker 1: so much truth to it. I mean, man, it's like,
- 5:31Speaker 1: how could this have been written so long ago and
- 5:36Speaker 1: still pertain directly to today? I mean that that's amazing.
- 5:43Speaker 1: That is amazing to me that. I mean, that has
- 5:47Speaker 1: to be God at work to have written something so complete,
- 5:53Speaker 1: so dead on point that if you read it today
- 6:00Speaker 1: it means exactly what pertains to today. That's amazing, man.
- 6:07Speaker 1: That's why my spiritual walk it's just worth it to me.
- 6:14Speaker 1: And I keep saying it's worth it, because if you're
- 6:16Speaker 1: sitting out there and you're tripping, like I was tripping, deciding,
- 6:20Speaker 1: now let me do. I got a few more things
- 6:23Speaker 1: I want to do, a couple more girls. I want
- 6:24Speaker 1: to hoil at, couple more things I want to get into.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I got a couple more deals I want to do.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I got a little bit more dirt. I want to
- 6:30Speaker 1: roll up on me a little bit. First, for man,
- 6:33Speaker 1: I wish I had known. I really wish I had
- 6:37Speaker 1: understood exactly what forming a relationship with God would do
- 6:41Speaker 1: for me. It's been worth every person who out there
- 6:47Speaker 1: who hating on me, that don't even know me, it's
- 6:51Speaker 1: because I have a relationship with Him that I'm fine
- 6:54Speaker 1: with that, or I don't care for it. But it
- 6:57Speaker 1: ain't gonna stop me though. See, because I know for
- 7:01Speaker 1: a fact that haters make you greater. I know for
- 7:06Speaker 1: a fact that haters validate your mere existence. I know
- 7:12Speaker 1: for a fact that half of them is out of
- 7:15Speaker 1: envy and jealousy because of something you're doing that they
- 7:19Speaker 1: wish they could do or they won't credit for, so
- 7:23Speaker 1: they just now anything all that bam and now you
- 7:27Speaker 1: just all over the place with people. Man, I'm so
- 7:31Speaker 1: grateful for this relationship that it has not allowed outside
- 7:36Speaker 1: influences that do not have my best interests at hard
- 7:40Speaker 1: to throw me off. Course. It has just been worth it.
- 7:45Speaker 1: And if you're sitting out there and you're wondering about
- 7:48Speaker 1: the benefits of it, I can't even tell you what
- 7:52Speaker 1: it's like to know that when bad things are happening
- 7:56Speaker 1: to me, the calming piece that I feel that I
- 8:00Speaker 1: know that that's gonna be all right too, that I
- 8:04Speaker 1: know that this tool shall pass. That I know in
- 8:07Speaker 1: my heart of hearts, man, that there's got to be
- 8:11Speaker 1: a reason for this, And if I can just hang
- 8:13Speaker 1: on in there, he gonna unfold that from me and
- 8:16Speaker 1: he gonna let me see it. But the number one
- 8:18Speaker 1: thing I always know is I'm gonna survive this one too,
- 8:22Speaker 1: that this tool shall pass. It has been worth it
- 8:25Speaker 1: to me, man, to have this thing called faith, which
- 8:29Speaker 1: is the belief in things that you cannot see, and
- 8:32Speaker 1: to know man along the way that, oh my goodness, man,
- 8:36Speaker 1: even though I don't know what's next, or even I'm
- 8:39Speaker 1: not really sure about the next step, I do know
- 8:43Speaker 1: for a fact that some mooe is coming. I do
- 8:46Speaker 1: know for a fact. It is a fact that God
- 8:50Speaker 1: will take care of me. It is a fact that
- 8:54Speaker 1: he will never ever leave me or desert me. If
- 8:58Speaker 1: I just stay here while I'm supposed to be. He's coming,
- 9:02Speaker 1: The Calvary's coming over the hill. He coming over the hill,
- 9:05Speaker 1: and when he come over that hill, he gonna wipe
- 9:07Speaker 1: out all this mess down here. That's that's trying to
- 9:10Speaker 1: hurt me, that that I don't have to worry about
- 9:13Speaker 1: my enemies anymore that my enemies that are all around
- 9:17Speaker 1: you can surround me. You can shoot all the arrows
- 9:21Speaker 1: you want. That's not to say that none of them
- 9:24Speaker 1: ain't gonna come close. And I ain't gonna say that,
- 9:27Speaker 1: you know, I ain't gonna be a little under some pressure,
- 9:31Speaker 1: a little nervous about being shot at so hard. But
- 9:34Speaker 1: at the end of the day, I know this for show.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Ain't none of them gonna stick in me. You could
- 9:39Speaker 1: shoot them, but ain't none of them gonna stick in me.
- 9:42Speaker 1: No matter what you do, no weapon formed against me.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Nothing you can't. You can't do nothing with me. Man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: I'm so cool. It's been worth it for me. Man,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening to show. Ladies and gentlemen, May I have
- 10:04Speaker 1: your undivided attention for just a moment. Please. This is
- 10:08Speaker 1: a public service announcement that will end as soon as
- 10:11Speaker 1: I stopped talking. This hill is the Steve Harvey damn
- 10:15Speaker 1: Morning Show. Now, that's what it is. That's what it's
- 10:18Speaker 1: gonna be, and that's what it's about, all right, Molding
- 10:22Speaker 1: Charley strong Bery, Good morning, Steve. Happy belated Father's Day. Yeah,
- 10:27Speaker 1: Colin Pharrell, Hey, Steve, Happy Belated Father's Day to you
- 10:31Speaker 1: too as well. Well. The gangs are here. What's up,
- 10:35Speaker 1: Jude morning up? Happy Father's Day, Pail, Yeah, yeah, like
- 10:41Speaker 1: I honor it. Here's another father, Jan Pannick Brown Happy
- 10:44Speaker 1: belated father Day as I call it. Oh, it's today.
- 10:52Speaker 1: And the other father on the show, Thomas Miles, Yes, sir,
- 10:57Speaker 1: top of the morning, having father, Happy Belated Father's Day,
- 11:00Speaker 1: the ste uncle Jay and ye, Father's Day. My wife
- 11:05Speaker 1: woke up and said, how do you want to spend
- 11:07Speaker 1: your Father's Then I said, I'm going fishing. Do it.
- 11:14Speaker 1: It made me some coffee. Walked out on the front.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Poach walked right down the hill, called an eight pound bass.
- 11:22Speaker 1: So you can fish from your house. You can go
- 11:26Speaker 1: from your list. You ain't go far at all. You
- 11:29Speaker 1: got mother, Yeah you got? Were you in your pj'all
- 11:37Speaker 1: y'all sent you kill? Yeah, I's got it up. I
- 11:39Speaker 1: saw it's nice man. We didn't so we can post it.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Sent it to us, send it to you. Yeah, ask
- 11:48Speaker 1: a question. I don't want to post it, calling it
- 11:51Speaker 1: ain't long enough than the game Warden calling Steve, don't
- 11:54Speaker 1: do that. You can't post that if it ain't long enough.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Game war. I have a question. You just walk out
- 12:02Speaker 1: the house to fish. Here that's where I am with
- 12:05Speaker 1: j Yeah. Yeah, that's beautiful because you thought that the
- 12:09Speaker 1: story was that you were able to go fishing, but
- 12:12Speaker 1: for us, we are I thought, like, I'm not even
- 12:18Speaker 1: like you know, put put the rods on the back
- 12:21Speaker 1: of the truck, loaded it up. That's most people, I thought,
- 12:26Speaker 1: he said. He got up. His wife asked him how
- 12:29Speaker 1: would he like to spend the day? He said, fishing.
- 12:31Speaker 1: She fixed him some coffee. He got up, walked down
- 12:34Speaker 1: the steps and went fishing. That's what he says. He did.
- 12:42Speaker 1: You enjoy your rich man? So, Jay, Jay, if you
- 12:47Speaker 1: went fishing, what would you have to do? If the
- 12:50Speaker 1: pack a little something to eat? Put stuff in the car,
- 12:54Speaker 1: gass up the carcase where I'm gonna fish is a
- 12:56Speaker 1: long way? How long dry minimum? Hey, j gotta go
- 13:06Speaker 1: over some gravel? Yeah, it's so far. I might go hired. Jane.
- 13:19Speaker 1: We're gonna ask somebody and are they bite? Hey? Jake? Early? Jay?
- 13:23Speaker 1: How early would you have to start one? All right? Listen?
- 13:35Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two after the hour, we'll find
- 13:39Speaker 1: out more about Father's Day from the Fellaws. Right after
- 13:42Speaker 1: this you're listening to Steven show. All right, So Father's
- 13:48Speaker 1: Day was yesterday, guys again, Happy Father's Day to everyone,
- 13:51Speaker 1: all the great fathers out there. Steve, you know you
- 13:54Speaker 1: always say fathers are forgotten, but if you looked on
- 13:56Speaker 1: the Graham yesterday, hey, you would have thought it was
- 13:59Speaker 1: the biggest holiday on the planet ever. Nice. Nice in
- 14:03Speaker 1: the history of holidays. Yeah, so many. I mean it
- 14:07Speaker 1: was really nice. The tribute that everyone gave their dads
- 14:10Speaker 1: and the day period. But anyway, Father Day was yesterday.
- 14:13Speaker 1: As I was saying, so, Steve, you were out at
- 14:15Speaker 1: the mentoring camp over the weekend. How was that? Well,
- 14:20Speaker 1: how did it end? Began Friday night we did the
- 14:25Speaker 1: VIP sponsorship event where a lot of the sponsores car
- 14:31Speaker 1: and I had these the for Washington's that called for
- 14:35Speaker 1: Washington's Instagram that for Washingtons. They were singing yeah, and
- 14:41Speaker 1: they had wrote a jingle for chick for late. We
- 14:47Speaker 1: didn't need you to repeat, we did. It's funny when
- 14:57Speaker 1: I had had him on my show for my talk show,
- 15:02Speaker 1: so I surprised me and said, I'm bringing y'all to
- 15:04Speaker 1: the minery camp and so you can go to the
- 15:07Speaker 1: Chick fil A ranch and I flew them down that
- 15:11Speaker 1: Friday night and they met and then they came up
- 15:14Speaker 1: and they sang the whole Chick fil a salt cheful No, no,
- 15:23Speaker 1: the kids wrote it. Oh oh Doc you are you
- 15:29Speaker 1: are to downloaded and play it this morning. But then
- 15:33Speaker 1: I got to mess it around with him after they sung,
- 15:36Speaker 1: and I said, man, that's my jam. It only takes
- 15:40Speaker 1: us black people to write a song about chicken. And
- 15:44Speaker 1: they and I said, yeah, uh, I forgot what the
- 15:51Speaker 1: hook was now, but I love chicken. And the kids
- 15:55Speaker 1: picked it up and start singing it right away, and
- 15:57Speaker 1: I got in it. Oh a mad god in it
- 16:02Speaker 1: my favorite thing to do. Huh yeah, you thing, hard foot,
- 16:07Speaker 1: please girl this instagram? Uh huh chicken chick, chicken fried
- 16:31Speaker 1: and salty smothered and gravy chi rice chicken, little college
- 16:40Speaker 1: green cheese, chicken, back of hold cheese, chicken. Give it
- 16:46Speaker 1: to me anyway, Chicken, my chicken. I'll be all right.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Chicken with just a little bit chicken. Take it down.
- 17:11Speaker 1: So they had sang the whole song, you know, and
- 17:13Speaker 1: then it ended. I was just saying, boy, just take
- 17:15Speaker 1: black people right a song about chicken, because that's how
- 17:18Speaker 1: fun we are, I said, you know what, I just
- 17:21Speaker 1: jumped in. I said, because I like my chicken. But
- 17:25Speaker 1: them looks singing as kids picked it up, and then
- 17:28Speaker 1: I just started leading. And that's where it turned out
- 17:31Speaker 1: and why it looked like you got problems. Jack, Well,
- 17:35Speaker 1: it's a nice song. And everything I have sung since
- 17:38Speaker 1: i've been here one one two almost two years, I've
- 17:41Speaker 1: sung maybe nine thousand songs about all different types of subjects.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I can't get him to sing one damn song with me.
- 17:50Speaker 1: He come to kids singing my chicken right in, Then
- 17:58Speaker 1: you're gonna sing a song with Jack Jay. He did
- 18:01Speaker 1: a collab. He had to give him no sheet music.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Put it with the butter chicken. Okay, okay, well all right,
- 18:19Speaker 1: I'll tell you what, man, I tell you what. Since
- 18:24Speaker 1: you see what what and what? Jesus, Jesus and Jesus.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Now you're gonna do a song out of pity. You
- 18:42Speaker 1: know now this is too much, that's too much, that's
- 18:49Speaker 1: your thick. I'll do a song with you pity, so
- 18:56Speaker 1: Jesus don't take that. They gonna get it anyway, he
- 19:02Speaker 1: can get it. He gonna do the song because he said, yeah,
- 19:09Speaker 1: we've been fanning him over the living room productions for
- 19:11Speaker 1: the long day. He said, he don't do it. Well, Jay, Jay,
- 19:15Speaker 1: you weren't here, but at least at least he didn't
- 19:19Speaker 1: say what the young man said to him when the
- 19:22Speaker 1: first kid came to the camp on the first night.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Tell him that will tell him how that went, Steve,
- 19:27Speaker 1: because Jay doesn't know his little boy got off from
- 19:31Speaker 1: from oh oh, the West Bank, Atlanta. He got off
- 19:35Speaker 1: the bus at the minute of campouto boy, probably about
- 19:39Speaker 1: a hunting boys had already got off the bus here.
- 19:41Speaker 1: But you know, he being bumping multiple buses. About the
- 19:44Speaker 1: third bus, about four bus full of boys, I guess
- 19:47Speaker 1: out the five something like that, about the third bus,
- 19:54Speaker 1: twentieth board to step off the bus. He wasn't running,
- 19:56Speaker 1: and that he just set his foot on the grass
- 20:00Speaker 1: and made eye contact with all the soldiers, all of
- 20:03Speaker 1: maga men, all the mentors, and said, I ain't doing
- 20:06Speaker 1: a mother blanket thing. I love it. I dropped to
- 20:16Speaker 1: my knees. But this a little bitty little dude, though. Man,
- 20:21Speaker 1: this little dude stepped off the bus and the soldiers
- 20:26Speaker 1: they just looked at me like, all right, mister Harvey,
- 20:30Speaker 1: how you want to hand this called This ain't what
- 20:32Speaker 1: we This ain't gonna go like this. All right, look,
- 20:39Speaker 1: we gotta get out of your guys. Coming up now,
- 20:41Speaker 1: I ain't doing a mother blanket. Church complaints and church
- 20:45Speaker 1: announcements with Pastor Motown and Deacon def Jam. Right after this,
- 20:50Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at
- 20:54Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Juniors Belated Father's Day poem.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Get ready for that. Get ready for that. We'll also
- 21:02Speaker 1: have the weekend box office report. But first, Steve, it
- 21:05Speaker 1: is Monday. It is time for church complaints and church
- 21:08Speaker 1: announcements with Deacon Jeff Jam and Reverend Motown. Oh, Sue,
- 21:21Speaker 1: we is owned in Monday today out for Father's Day.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Let us begin with church complaints, Yes, Sah, come on
- 21:34Speaker 1: all right. Pastor, we had a it was a mad
- 21:38Speaker 1: house yesterday passing. Yeah, it was meet your Daddy's Sunday.
- 21:43Speaker 1: We had eight kids who they daddy was spent the
- 21:47Speaker 1: first time. They are all going to need counseling that
- 21:50Speaker 1: two of these kids a teenager and went to Junior
- 21:54Speaker 1: Prime together, not knowing that they are siblings brother Melvin Dixon.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Brother Melvin Dixon's six of these kids, father, you're gonna
- 22:03Speaker 1: have to do something cause sister Phedra James is pregnant
- 22:07Speaker 1: for him. Now it's just too much path for going
- 22:10Speaker 1: on with it. I'm not understanding this one at all. Well,
- 22:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it again. Yesterday was Meet your dadd
- 22:19Speaker 1: Is Sunday. We had eight kids finding out who they
- 22:23Speaker 1: daddy was for the first time. All right, they are
- 22:27Speaker 1: all these kids are gonna need counseling, all right. Now.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Two of the kids or teenagers and went to the
- 22:31Speaker 1: Junior Prime together not knowing they were siblings Brother Melvin Dixon.
- 22:37Speaker 1: It's six of these kids. Father, You're gonna have to
- 22:41Speaker 1: do something because sister Phaedra James it's pregnant for him
- 22:44Speaker 1: right now. Well, or I think that we would like
- 22:48Speaker 1: to consider them meet your Daddy for the first time
- 22:52Speaker 1: Sunday or success success or we can not throw the
- 23:00Speaker 1: baby out with the bathwater. The fact that these or
- 23:05Speaker 1: young people were able to find out finally who they
- 23:10Speaker 1: daddy was, being Melvin or brother Melvin Diction. Uh, it's
- 23:18Speaker 1: quite a That's the big part of it, and I
- 23:20Speaker 1: think I don't want to lose sight of that by
- 23:22Speaker 1: condemning Brother Melvin m Now the problem with this is Oh,
- 23:31Speaker 1: Lord did some calculations and brother Melvin olds or twelve
- 23:37Speaker 1: million dollars in bad childhood million. So I don't know
- 23:44Speaker 1: what the hell that's the bigger problem. Would go ahead, deacon,
- 23:49Speaker 1: all right, let's see here a pastor. Now, this is
- 23:52Speaker 1: a major issue here. The Second Sale Ministry and the
- 23:56Speaker 1: Leukemia Ministry are competing over who is the sis. They
- 24:02Speaker 1: both fell out and we had the resting both to
- 24:04Speaker 1: the hospital. So you need to call it which one one?
- 24:07Speaker 1: I don't. It's we don't have or church or deacon,
- 24:14Speaker 1: and I'm ashamed of you personally. You would condemn the
- 24:18Speaker 1: sick membership here at the church. This is not a competition. Well,
- 24:23Speaker 1: they are the ones competing. It ain't. Well, we go
- 24:26Speaker 1: to our heavily Father for healing. That's right, past, we
- 24:30Speaker 1: believe in healing. Right And now let me tell you this.
- 24:34Speaker 1: I think Brother Brown has one of the best and
- 24:38Speaker 1: finest attitudes of discongregation with anyone dealing with his condition.
- 24:45Speaker 1: And we all know Brother Junior has been an outstanding
- 24:49Speaker 1: spokesperson for the sixth Seal community and since he's moved
- 24:55Speaker 1: to LA has has not had hospitalize crisis. That a
- 25:01Speaker 1: true statement, Brother class. Why his ass ain't move out
- 25:07Speaker 1: there sooner? It's I'm troubled by thank cold weather? Kick
- 25:12Speaker 1: it off? Why your ass throw snowball? Oh? Puss it
- 25:18Speaker 1: by that like that snow can't be that bush damn fun.
- 25:22Speaker 1: It just can't be either way. All right, Move a lord,
- 25:28Speaker 1: and congratulations to both album members. Will forming a new
- 25:32Speaker 1: committee or or to head up the Sick and shutt
- 25:37Speaker 1: end list or people that's just sick but ain't shut in.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Oh you're sick, sick, they gonna visit people that shut in.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Jesus take the week, all right, pastor listen, we have
- 25:52Speaker 1: an issue. Mike Lynndale. Mike Lynndale is the man that
- 25:56Speaker 1: makes the pillars and have the commercials that come out
- 25:59Speaker 1: late at night. He will be making the cushions for
- 26:01Speaker 1: the pills. He wants to know the sizes of the
- 26:04Speaker 1: butts that would be sitting on them so he can
- 26:06Speaker 1: determine the firmness that we're gonna we don't need. So
- 26:10Speaker 1: you need to make a booted judgment on how we
- 26:12Speaker 1: need to do these what well? I think the best
- 26:18Speaker 1: way for us to do this because we certainly due
- 26:20Speaker 1: to the Me too movement, can't go around measuring or
- 26:24Speaker 1: people's or osterious and posterious posteriosis area. So what our
- 26:31Speaker 1: propose is that we break the cushion making up in
- 26:37Speaker 1: the church into very simple categories, like let's just look
- 26:43Speaker 1: at herds for example, like you may want one as
- 26:48Speaker 1: an or heard of elephants or elephant herd be one
- 26:55Speaker 1: you we have the rhino heard, We'll have zebra herds
- 26:59Speaker 1: because they got nice posteriors on the deal or mostly
- 27:05Speaker 1: as mostly or a rhino pew and I can just
- 27:11Speaker 1: name them by heat by pews like that, just calling
- 27:13Speaker 1: different herds and be the cheetah herd all little skinny
- 27:19Speaker 1: on that one I got. I have my notes now, Patrick,
- 27:23Speaker 1: we got a few rules that we need you to
- 27:24Speaker 1: sign off on. A couple of rules. Blind people who
- 27:28Speaker 1: come to service Lake can no longer be escorted up
- 27:31Speaker 1: to the front, okay. Deacon Seymour Livingston said he always
- 27:35Speaker 1: sits up front, and I couldn't help but say, how
- 27:37Speaker 1: do you know that? So I just need you to
- 27:42Speaker 1: sign off on this rule that blind people cannot be
- 27:45Speaker 1: We're gonna do. We're gonna have a back row seat
- 27:47Speaker 1: with front row written on it in Breil. Oh God,
- 27:51Speaker 1: that work. I would just right on that. That's what
- 27:54Speaker 1: I needed to hear. All right, real number two, pastor,
- 27:59Speaker 1: you I need you to sign up two minute. We
- 28:02Speaker 1: need a two minute shouting limit. Two minute. We feel
- 28:05Speaker 1: it gonna doing. Get the Lord. I tell system too, man,
- 28:08Speaker 1: not gonna do that. Let the Lord use your however
- 28:11Speaker 1: long rule over three. The third one is if you're
- 28:15Speaker 1: running around in the trench when you get to that
- 28:17Speaker 1: back though, just run your ass out of it. We're
- 28:19Speaker 1: not gonna have all that. Thank you guys very much.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 28:28Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you. Right after this. You're listening
- 28:33Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well before we get to
- 28:38Speaker 1: the weekend box office report, Junior is here with a
- 28:43Speaker 1: belated Father's Day report poem. I mean, Junior, yes, ready, surely,
- 28:49Speaker 1: you know, you know, Sureley, let me just say this
- 28:51Speaker 1: what everybody didn't have with the Fay and some people
- 28:56Speaker 1: you know who just want to just say something today
- 28:58Speaker 1: did and everybody didn't. So let's not always think that father.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Everybody had a good father. I just want to say
- 29:04Speaker 1: this poem on behalf of them, all right, Okay, lights
- 29:09Speaker 1: and stuff, Okay, okay, here's to all the grads and dads.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Don't even know why they put y'all together, because one
- 29:20Speaker 1: of y'all will not be getting the gift. Sad to say, whatever,
- 29:26Speaker 1: old belated happy Father's Day. Sorry I let it pass.
- 29:31Speaker 1: I was gonna get you a real nice gift, but
- 29:34Speaker 1: I really need to save my cash. What happy belated
- 29:38Speaker 1: Father's Day. Let's go down memory lane like the time
- 29:43Speaker 1: I hit a home run and your ass wasn't at
- 29:46Speaker 1: the game. But guess their old dad, I'm really doing swell.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you like you used to tell me.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Your gift is in the damn mad here. Hey everybody
- 30:05Speaker 1: didn't have one, you know, A right happy Father's Day?
- 30:10Speaker 1: I guess yeah, yeah, oh you're done. Yeah, I'm done. Okay, yeah,
- 30:18Speaker 1: he don't get two times. Oh you know what? This
- 30:23Speaker 1: just in something that we failed to mention during church announcements. Um,
- 30:27Speaker 1: you guys know who. Um. Bishop Bullwinkle is a pastor
- 30:31Speaker 1: and singer. Bishop Bullwink Yeah, his real name is Bernard Thomas.
- 30:37Speaker 1: He is, like you guys say, best known for his
- 30:40Speaker 1: song Held to the Nonna. Well Sadly, very sadly, he
- 30:44Speaker 1: passed away recently. He had a heart attack. Yeah. He
- 30:48Speaker 1: was seventy one years old. Yes, yes, yes, yeah, yeah,
- 30:54Speaker 1: a lot of you. Yeah, and I thinks out to
- 30:57Speaker 1: his family. Yeah. I think he made fans. Yeah, he
- 31:01Speaker 1: made the song because of all the hypocrisy that was
- 31:04Speaker 1: going around, and I think he was hurt because it
- 31:07Speaker 1: was just a lot of things going on and the
- 31:09Speaker 1: song caught fire and just everybody liked the song. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:13Speaker 1: I love it. Yeah. Yeah. So ri ip uh Bishop
- 31:17Speaker 1: Fullwinkle No no, no, not three no no, yeah yeah three.
- 31:22Speaker 1: It was a big debate about that whether it was
- 31:24Speaker 1: two no, no, no, no, no, no, he's three Okay, okay,
- 31:27Speaker 1: it's three okay, yeah yeah yeah, yeah he's right though. Yeah. Well, um,
- 31:38Speaker 1: it wasn't a good weekend for sequels at the box office.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Men in Black International and Shaft both fell. Both fell
- 31:46Speaker 1: well below expectations at the box office. Men in Black
- 31:49Speaker 1: Internet International made twenty eight point five million, The Secret
- 31:54Speaker 1: Life of Pets still in the top three, making twenty
- 31:57Speaker 1: three point eight million, A Laddin six teen point seven
- 32:01Speaker 1: That was number three, Dark Phoenix nine million, Rocketman The
- 32:06Speaker 1: Elton John Story eight point eight million, and then Shaft
- 32:09Speaker 1: came in at number six with eight point three million
- 32:12Speaker 1: dollars is a good movie. But Men in Black, you know,
- 32:15Speaker 1: the little thing they had will you and make you forget?
- 32:19Speaker 1: I wish they had when they came out to theater.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I wish they had zap Zack forgot. I saw that
- 32:28Speaker 1: damn movie. All right, let's move on, Steve. Time for headlines,
- 32:34Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Tripp's Everybody, Everybody Morning. President Trump,
- 32:41Speaker 1: as he gears off for the official start of the
- 32:43Speaker 1: twenty twenty presidential election season, is throwing the idea out
- 32:46Speaker 1: there that the stock market will crash if he's not
- 32:48Speaker 1: re elected. He tweets a quote, if anybody but me
- 32:51Speaker 1: takes over, there will be a market crash the likes
- 32:54Speaker 1: of which have not been seen before. Trump officially hits
- 32:57Speaker 1: the campaign trail tomorrow with a rally and or Orlando, Florida,
- 33:00Speaker 1: and looks to be sort of rotesting some of the
- 33:03Speaker 1: themes he's going to be touching on in the next
- 33:05Speaker 1: eighteen months. Trump tweets that Tuesday will be a quote
- 33:08Speaker 1: big crowd and a big day. Is also tweeting this
- 33:11Speaker 1: that at the end of six years, after America has
- 33:14Speaker 1: been made great again, and I leave the beautiful White House.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Do you think that people would demand that I stay
- 33:19Speaker 1: longer and keep America great? Recent poles show that Trump
- 33:23Speaker 1: would lose to several Democratic White House candidates and by
- 33:27Speaker 1: big margin. Lease now Congress from at Alexander o'casio Cortes
- 33:30Speaker 1: at don't don't worry about that, because the very very
- 33:33Speaker 1: important that Democrats will have to face four more years
- 33:35Speaker 1: of Donald Trump for real if they don't select the
- 33:37Speaker 1: right candidate. I think that we have a very real
- 33:40Speaker 1: risk of losing the presidency to Donald Trump if we
- 33:43Speaker 1: do not have a presidential candidate that is fighting for
- 33:47Speaker 1: true transformational change in the lives of working people in
- 33:50Speaker 1: the United States. Kazio Cortez was on ABC's This Week.
- 33:53Speaker 1: She also says that the current number of Democratic presidential
- 33:56Speaker 1: candidates is too long, too much, and that the party
- 33:59Speaker 1: needs to fall more on winning Senate seats next time around.
- 34:02Speaker 1: That's what they need to focus on. The mayor of Phoenix, Arizona,
- 34:06Speaker 1: is apologizing for the way that city cops treated a
- 34:09Speaker 1: young black couple and their toddlers while answering a call
- 34:12Speaker 1: about shoplifting last month. Video of the encounter shows Phoenix
- 34:16Speaker 1: police pointing guns and yelling profanities at the family, kicking
- 34:20Speaker 1: the father so hard that he falls, even threatening to
- 34:23Speaker 1: shoot the parents in front of their kids. The mother
- 34:26Speaker 1: is pregnant and they are telling her to hold her
- 34:28Speaker 1: hands up, and she's screaming, I can't hold my hands up.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I'm holding my baby and I'm pregnant. Turns out that,
- 34:34Speaker 1: unbeknownstedt to parents, the couple's four year old little girl
- 34:36Speaker 1: had picked up a doll in the store. Drayvon James
- 34:39Speaker 1: and Asha Harper said as soon as city for ten
- 34:41Speaker 1: million dollars. In Memphis, cops shot and killed the twenty
- 34:44Speaker 1: year old black man, whom they were seeking for outstanding
- 34:46Speaker 1: felony warrants. Members of the African American community in the
- 34:49Speaker 1: Frasier area of North Memphis have been protesting. Last week,
- 34:52Speaker 1: Police Breast said thirty six cops were injured. Stormy Daniels
- 34:56Speaker 1: posted a rather snarky reaction to White House spokesman Sarah
- 35:00Speaker 1: Sander's announcement of departure last week from the administration and
- 35:03Speaker 1: the strippers. A treat tweet went viral. You know she's
- 35:06Speaker 1: Sanders off from and criticized her making inaccurate statements shall
- 35:09Speaker 1: we say so? In reacting to an article where Sanders
- 35:11Speaker 1: says she'd liked to be remembered as transparent and honest
- 35:14Speaker 1: Stormy Daniel's tweets, and I hope to be remembered for
- 35:17Speaker 1: being a virgin. Finally, at the box office this weekend,
- 35:21Speaker 1: Men in Black was twenty eight and a half million dollars. Meanwhile,
- 35:24Speaker 1: though Chaft debuted in eighth place. Now back to the
- 35:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show.
- 35:32Speaker 1: All right, did you guys see last night's primetime special
- 35:36Speaker 1: with ABC News host George Stephanopolis and the President. George
- 35:42Speaker 1: spent like two days at the White House and on
- 35:45Speaker 1: the President's campaign trail. Now, during the interview, the President
- 35:49Speaker 1: also insisted that Article two of the US Constitution allows
- 35:53Speaker 1: him to do whatever he wants, arguing that he never
- 35:57Speaker 1: planned to fire Special Counsel Robert Muller, but had every
- 36:00Speaker 1: legal right to do so. Take a listen to this.
- 36:03Speaker 1: You talk about article too. So your position is that
- 36:05Speaker 1: you can hire or fire anybody, stop or started. That
- 36:08Speaker 1: is the position of a lot of great lawyers. That's
- 36:10Speaker 1: a position of some of the most talented lawyers. And
- 36:12Speaker 1: you have to have a position like that because you're
- 36:15Speaker 1: the president. But if you answer these questions to me, now,
- 36:17Speaker 1: why not answer them to Robert Muller under oath? Because
- 36:24Speaker 1: they were looking to get us for lies, for slight misstatements.
- 36:29Speaker 1: I looked at what happened to people, and it was
- 36:32Speaker 1: very unfair, very very unfair, very unfair. So I'm listening
- 36:37Speaker 1: to you. You're not worried about being prosecuted once you
- 36:39Speaker 1: leave office. I did nothing wrong. George did nothing wrong.
- 36:43Speaker 1: There was no collusion. I did nothing wrong with George.
- 36:54Speaker 1: You know, is collusion. He has to win a second election, yeah,
- 37:01Speaker 1: because his freedom is depending on it. His whole reason
- 37:06Speaker 1: for wanting to get this second thing. It has nothing
- 37:09Speaker 1: to do with moving the country forward or keeping his promises.
- 37:13Speaker 1: This one is so he don't get these charges because
- 37:16Speaker 1: the moment he ain't president, they're gonna do it. So
- 37:18Speaker 1: you're saying he just wants to get re elected to
- 37:20Speaker 1: stay free, that's all it is, and move around. He's
- 37:23Speaker 1: not enjoying being president. I agree, or I could promise
- 37:28Speaker 1: you that's a lot of work. Well, yeah, and the president.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I love how George handled the interview though, because at
- 37:35Speaker 1: one point, you know, George pressed him. He did not
- 37:38Speaker 1: back down. At one point he was pressing the president,
- 37:41Speaker 1: and the President just stopped and called him a wise
- 37:43Speaker 1: guy during the interview, and so it's like, you know,
- 37:47Speaker 1: he ran out of answers to give him, so he
- 37:50Speaker 1: just started insulting George. But George was classy. He just
- 37:53Speaker 1: ignored it, let it roll right off him, and kept
- 37:55Speaker 1: it moving with more questions. You know, two hours, a
- 38:00Speaker 1: lot of stuff in there. I mean, look, man, he's
- 38:03Speaker 1: not being All he's doing is asking you questions. If
- 38:07Speaker 1: you have the truth? Yeah, why is he a wise guy? Exactly? Yeah.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I mean, if if he's asking you a question and
- 38:14Speaker 1: you've done nothing and he's not trying to slickly get
- 38:17Speaker 1: you to say something, that's what you didn't say before.
- 38:23Speaker 1: If what you said before, what's the truth, we ain't
- 38:25Speaker 1: got no problem. Yeah. But he has that attitude that
- 38:29Speaker 1: if he doesn't want to answer the question, then that's
- 38:31Speaker 1: what he does. He back up, he feels back in
- 38:32Speaker 1: the corner and he'll come out fighting. Well. Yeah, coming
- 38:38Speaker 1: up at thirty four after the hour, we'll tell you
- 38:40Speaker 1: where to go if you want to see some highlights
- 38:42Speaker 1: from the Stephen Marjorie Harvey mentoring camp or you guys
- 38:46Speaker 1: had a great time over the weekend, Steve all week Actually,
- 38:49Speaker 1: we'll talk about that when we come back. Right after this.
- 38:52Speaker 1: You're listening, all right. We want to welcome back one
- 38:58Speaker 1: of our favorite stations out of Las Vegas, Jam and

- 39:48Speaker 1: all right here roulette. You take four subject you can
- 39:50Speaker 1: put them on the wheel, spind the wheel, wedge stop.
- 39:52Speaker 1: We will do the damn thing because we're all comedians.
- 39:56Speaker 1: All right, Here we go. Things you say to people

- 40:18Speaker 1: to apologize after you've made a complete fool of yourself.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Come on, let's go. That's let's go. It's gonna be fun.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Oh I wasn't expecting this. Things you say to people

- 44:39Speaker 1: And you know the church is behind you on what
- 44:40Speaker 1: you're going through. When we were praying for you, man,
- 44:43Speaker 1: we know all about the you know you're going in

- 44:55Speaker 1: the man upstairs are gonna pull you through this success
- 44:58Speaker 1: where God bless and keep you. Uh that, Deacon, God
- 45:01Speaker 1: blessing keep you because I tell you I'm going through

- 45:08Speaker 1: a wonderful thing to know that your church is with
- 45:11Speaker 1: you and and y'all thinking about me in prayer. I
- 45:14Speaker 1: I've really had to take this to the Lord. This
- 45:16Speaker 1: is a serious thing with me and I ain't never
- 45:19Speaker 1: had an operation before in my life, and I know
- 45:22Speaker 1: I need it. My wife and made it clear. The
- 45:24Speaker 1: doctor made it clear that I believe I'm ready to

- 45:47Speaker 1: hold on to the doctor that's getting ready to go
- 45:50Speaker 1: and loyal to put the servitory on it. Yes, we
- 45:52Speaker 1: asked that you make sure that the doctor it's got
- 45:56Speaker 1: a strong eye, who on that morning walk with him,
- 46:00Speaker 1: asked that that that he got a steady hand when
- 46:02Speaker 1: he got the scalpel in his hand. We asked that
- 46:05Speaker 1: you're all own to him please as it goes into
- 46:08Speaker 1: a surgeon, because we know come side them all the
- 46:12Speaker 1: victory gonna beloan the brother Conley and the Lord. Thank
- 46:15Speaker 1: you Lord, we know all of this. But we we
- 46:17Speaker 1: asked that you take that pincres and you remove it
- 46:20Speaker 1: out successingly closing back up like it will never been
- 46:24Speaker 1: into the end before walk with me. That's what we're asking.
- 46:26Speaker 1: We ask your Lord. At the same time that they're
- 46:29Speaker 1: removing this pincres, as Lord, we asked that your reach
- 46:32Speaker 1: around his backside, and we asked that you touch his kidney,
- 46:37Speaker 1: Lord God, just kidney and make it hold. Make it
- 46:39Speaker 1: a hundred and ten percent. We want you to make
- 46:42Speaker 1: that that kidney like it's been the best kidneys. Deacon,
- 46:47Speaker 1: that's deacon, Deacon whoop, pat Deacon passion. Yes, you know
- 46:50Speaker 1: you're saying that, you doun sir, they're just nothing wrong
- 46:52Speaker 1: with my kidney. Deacon. I'm doing I'm doing fine. The
- 46:55Speaker 1: Lord is Lord has de needed. Well, he's gonna work
- 46:57Speaker 1: on my pancres. That's what the doctors are read. No
- 47:01Speaker 1: trap me forward, and that's what they're playing to remove.
- 47:03Speaker 1: So really not getting this fine. They did what they
- 47:05Speaker 1: called when they in my eyes and everything else is fine.
- 47:08Speaker 1: They ain't working on nothing but my pacres, right right right? Well, well,
- 47:12Speaker 1: if let let me say, I'm glad you brought that
- 47:13Speaker 1: up with this this this wouldn't re want I call you, huh.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Of course I did call the prey for you. Yes,
- 47:20Speaker 1: you know, because I want to make sure that that
- 47:22Speaker 1: that that you make it through this successfully. But what
- 47:24Speaker 1: another the reason why I'm getting rounded is here is uh,
- 47:28Speaker 1: what I want to ask you, and I know we
- 47:29Speaker 1: we you know, we've never met face to face. I've
- 47:32Speaker 1: seen you a couple of times, like I said, the church,
- 47:33Speaker 1: but you've been out most time, uh, or you with
- 47:35Speaker 1: your sickness and whatnot. But now, what what I was
- 47:39Speaker 1: gonna ask you was, yeah, and I know this is
- 47:43Speaker 1: I hate to come at you in the final hour
- 47:45Speaker 1: and you're getting ready to go he sercha and all that,
- 47:47Speaker 1: But if you don't mind it, if you could see
- 47:50Speaker 1: it in your heart to to to see to do
- 47:53Speaker 1: something for somebody else. Yes. Uh, that's that's the large
- 47:56Speaker 1: we are. You always supposed to have those who right,
- 48:00Speaker 1: And I'm glad you think like that. Now when they
- 48:03Speaker 1: go in on Friday morning and remove that pinker is out,
- 48:08Speaker 1: do you think that that that that they could go
- 48:11Speaker 1: in and get one of your kidneys? Because I need one?
- 48:16Speaker 1: Hold hold on, just met being what you say what
- 48:20Speaker 1: you said. See see see what else I've been going
- 48:23Speaker 1: through myself with a little ailment. And and I'm wondering
- 48:26Speaker 1: if if if I need a kidney, and I'm wondering
- 48:29Speaker 1: if you can give me one of yours When they
- 48:30Speaker 1: go in and get your pinkers, they're going already to
- 48:32Speaker 1: have you open. Did you say you wanted them to
- 48:35Speaker 1: take one of my kidneys? Yeah, and give it to
- 48:37Speaker 1: me because I need one. You need a kidney? Yeah,
- 48:40Speaker 1: but what I mean you already gonna be lading there open.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Wait a minute, mister, you need a kidney. I need
- 48:46Speaker 1: hit with my packers. You will call me with that. Man,
- 48:49Speaker 1: this ain't now. You say you're a deacon like I said,
- 48:53Speaker 1: Dickon Patterson my name, But see what I'm asking you
- 48:56Speaker 1: if what you are, man, brother Carr, what harm is it?
- 49:01Speaker 1: If you already open and laying on the table. Oh
- 49:03Speaker 1: you ain't hit the damn thing I say it? Have you?
- 49:05Speaker 1: I said, I'll be man, you're crazy as hell. Now
- 49:09Speaker 1: what I'm gonna have to do. I'm gonna need to
- 49:11Speaker 1: call the pastor because he's all going on here. You
- 49:14Speaker 1: say you knew you man, A damn knew mister. Man's
- 49:17Speaker 1: you two damn new to know who you're talking to?
- 49:19Speaker 1: What what I'm saying is you have two kids, two
- 49:22Speaker 1: like you said. You say they did the Mr. You
- 49:24Speaker 1: don't give what I said they did. Man, I got
- 49:27Speaker 1: two kidneys. You got to one of yours bad? That's
- 49:29Speaker 1: your problem. Mister. Let me tell you something. I'm trying
- 49:32Speaker 1: to get well, and you calling with this. You say
- 49:35Speaker 1: you're a new deacon. You damn show ills and you
- 49:37Speaker 1: won't be at the church long. I tell you that,
- 49:39Speaker 1: because if I ever get good to your sister, we
- 49:42Speaker 1: got some wristmon to do. What is it gonna hurt
- 49:44Speaker 1: for you to give me one of them kidnas that
- 49:45Speaker 1: both them? If both them kidneys is good, it ain't
- 49:48Speaker 1: gonna hit him. Think you ain't getting my kidney. Man,
- 49:51Speaker 1: ain't gonna hit what's wrong with you? Say? Man, all
- 49:54Speaker 1: I'm saying is, if you're gonna be Olden laying on
- 49:56Speaker 1: the table, what is it gonna hurt old Now you're
- 49:59Speaker 1: gonna kill im? I won't be laying on the damn table.
- 50:01Speaker 1: What kind of a pray you in charge of? Mister?
- 50:04Speaker 1: Let me tell you something I was I need to
- 50:06Speaker 1: meet you for. I get to the hospital and maybe
- 50:08Speaker 1: I can pick out that damn bag getting to yours.
- 50:10Speaker 1: And I can't tell you that you're gonna feel a
- 50:13Speaker 1: damn thing. How about that? I'll be damned if you're
- 50:16Speaker 1: gonna call and talk to me out of one of
- 50:17Speaker 1: my damn kitdings. Man, I'm trying to live just like you,
- 50:20Speaker 1: trying to let the Lord take care of me. Because
- 50:22Speaker 1: what you're talking about it ain't got a damn thing
- 50:24Speaker 1: to do with Jesus. You can kiss my and get
- 50:26Speaker 1: off my phone, that's what you can do. Can I
- 50:29Speaker 1: say one more thing to you? What is you listening
- 50:31Speaker 1: to me? Man? And to listen to you and you
- 50:34Speaker 1: ain't talking about nothing that's got nothing to do with
- 50:37Speaker 1: what's going on with me. Mister. You're running the game.
- 50:39Speaker 1: If I could get to y'all put larding you. What
- 50:42Speaker 1: can I just say one more thing and then I'm

- 51:03Speaker 1: and you are right, brother con Man. Man, you have
- 51:06Speaker 1: made me use language that I swear I don't know,
- 51:08Speaker 1: but I heard my nagle's name using that. How didn't
- 51:10Speaker 1: stop a long time ago talking that a way? Please
- 51:13Speaker 1: forgive me gord him whoa y'all. I'm gonna have to

- 51:22Speaker 1: this ain't me, This ain't me. And you I'll tell
- 51:25Speaker 1: you what I enjoyed Steve Harvey and nephew told me.
- 51:28Speaker 1: I do, Brother Colly, I gotta ask you one more thing, man,
- 51:32Speaker 1: what is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio
- 51:35Speaker 1: show in the land. It's gotta be It's gotta be y'all,
- 51:41Speaker 1: It's gotta be y'all. Hell, I don't want them the
- 51:43Speaker 1: name of it now. The Steve Harvey Steve Harvey more
- 51:46Speaker 1: showed Lord him must I ain't gonna forget it now.
- 51:48Speaker 1: I prayed that thing at the beginning, doesn't I was
- 51:50Speaker 1: praying that thing now? Yeah, yeah, you know if you
- 51:55Speaker 1: why are you olting this? You wont? I don't, man,
- 51:58Speaker 1: if they just reached around. Now, let me give one
- 52:01Speaker 1: of them kidneys because I need one that you don't mind.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Get smooth cussed out by a deacon. Ain't nothing wrong.
- 52:10Speaker 1: That's it. Getting ready, y'all this I start. Let me
- 52:12Speaker 1: say this, I'm shooting Ready to Love. I start Sunday,
- 52:15Speaker 1: so it is time. Your nephew is going into production
- 52:18Speaker 1: for Ready to Love on the own network, and I
- 52:22Speaker 1: start Sunday night. Y'all see, I'll wish me look and
- 52:24Speaker 1: I'm dropping the weight on. I'm getting it down. I
- 52:26Speaker 1: will be one. Tell me, let me take that off
- 52:30Speaker 1: your plate. That ain't gonna do nothing, dog, just gonna
- 52:33Speaker 1: be a star. Good. That's great advice, Steve. Yeah, no,
- 52:36Speaker 1: for real, you take that off your plate. Then nobody
- 52:41Speaker 1: tune in and seeing if you ate a twelve pounds
- 52:43Speaker 1: lighter nobody. I love that advice. All right, all right, well, nephew,
- 52:50Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up next, it is today's Strawberry Letter.

- 53:12Speaker 1: click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your letter
- 53:16Speaker 1: live on the air, just like we're going to read
- 53:18Speaker 1: this one today right here, right now, all right, buckle up,
- 53:22Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 53:24Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you enough. Subject my man
- 53:29Speaker 1: loves being in the Doghouse. Dear Stephen Shirley, I am
- 53:34Speaker 1: a twenty eight year old woman dating a thirty four
- 53:38Speaker 1: year old man. We were together nine months and waited
- 53:41Speaker 1: almost five months before we started having sex. He was
- 53:45Speaker 1: very kinky and liked to keep it interesting in the bedroom,
- 53:50Speaker 1: but it ended up being way too much for me.
- 53:53Speaker 1: You've answered a letter like this before, but mine is
- 53:57Speaker 1: different because my man is more extreme. My issue started
- 54:01Speaker 1: one night about three months ago, when out of nowhere,
- 54:04Speaker 1: during sex, he started barking like a dog and licking
- 54:08Speaker 1: me all over during sex. I asked what the hell
- 54:13Speaker 1: was going on, and he shushed me and told me
- 54:16Speaker 1: not to spoil the mood. He told me to say
- 54:19Speaker 1: good boy while we were having sex. I thought he
- 54:23Speaker 1: was playing it first, so I did it. I told
- 54:26Speaker 1: him afterwards that it was awkward as hell, but he
- 54:29Speaker 1: said he loved it. From then on, we did this
- 54:33Speaker 1: dog We did his doggy routine during sex a few
- 54:36Speaker 1: more times, but it got too darn weird. One night,
- 54:40Speaker 1: when he came into the bedroom naked on all fours
- 54:44Speaker 1: wearing a leash, he asked me to pet him and
- 54:47Speaker 1: take him for a walk in the backyard. Of course
- 54:52Speaker 1: I didn't want to, but I did. Come on, I'm
- 54:54Speaker 1: trying to read this with a straight face, guys. We
- 55:00Speaker 1: walked out of the yard. We walked out to the yard,
- 55:03Speaker 1: and he stopped and relieved himself yes, in the grass.
- 55:09Speaker 1: This pushed me to the edge and I broke up
- 55:12Speaker 1: with him and left his naked behind in the yard.
- 55:15Speaker 1: I could never have sex with him again. Now he's
- 55:18Speaker 1: calling me non stop and begging me to hear him out.
- 55:22Speaker 1: He sent me a link to an online group of
- 55:24Speaker 1: people that also indulge in this fetish. It's all too
- 55:28Speaker 1: freaky for me. But now I have a major problem.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I am pregnant by him. I don't want my child
- 55:36Speaker 1: to have a freaky father that might lick on him
- 55:39Speaker 1: and make him potty in the backyard. I really just
- 55:43Speaker 1: want to move away and not even tell him that
- 55:45Speaker 1: I'm pregnant. I know that's not right, though, What should
- 55:47Speaker 1: I do? Please advise? Oh, Edna was I know? I know, Steve,
- 55:54Speaker 1: I know, I know she's saved that until the end,
- 55:56Speaker 1: didn't she? And she's right. We did have a letter
- 56:00Speaker 1: earlier about a guy who liked to wear furry dog costumes.
- 56:04Speaker 1: We did have that. But you're definitely right. This is
- 56:08Speaker 1: way more extreme with this man right here. And listen,
- 56:11Speaker 1: I was perfectly ready to tell you to run, not
- 56:14Speaker 1: walk away from this man. But now you're pregnant and
- 56:17Speaker 1: an innocent baby is involved in all this foolishness. So
- 56:22Speaker 1: you know, I mean, I don't. This is hard. I mean,
- 56:29Speaker 1: what do you You've got a baby? You know you
- 56:32Speaker 1: put yourself into this freaky situation. Why didn't you wear protection?
- 56:36Speaker 1: You could get pregnant if you don't wear protection and
- 56:39Speaker 1: you're having sex, you know, and you had sex with
- 56:42Speaker 1: him more than once you know, so you knew he
- 56:45Speaker 1: was into this freaky stuff, but you had sex with him.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Now the baby is going to have a man who literally,
- 56:51Speaker 1: I mean literally wants to be treated like a dog
- 56:54Speaker 1: completed with like you say in the letter, walking naked
- 56:56Speaker 1: on all fours and you were nating in the in
- 56:58Speaker 1: the backyard. I mean, I just have to say, get
- 57:01Speaker 1: ready to be a single parent unless this guy straightens
- 57:05Speaker 1: up and changes. You know, but it sounds like he's
- 57:08Speaker 1: really deep into this. I mean he's part of a
- 57:11Speaker 1: group that does it. He shows you that, you know,
- 57:13Speaker 1: he's not the only one. There's more like me. I
- 57:16Speaker 1: guess to make it seem like he's not so bad
- 57:18Speaker 1: or something, but this is pretty bad, especially if you're
- 57:21Speaker 1: bringing a baby into this situation. So yes, you have
- 57:24Speaker 1: some decisions to make. I mean, he's the father, you
- 57:26Speaker 1: owe him that. But get ready, like I said, to
- 57:30Speaker 1: be a single parent unless he changes. Steve well, because
- 57:34Speaker 1: I just handle this the best way I can until
- 57:36Speaker 1: we get to the impregnant part. Twenty eight year old
- 57:40Speaker 1: woman y'all and her Shelley's answered dating a thirty year
- 57:42Speaker 1: old man. We was together nine months and waited almost
- 57:46Speaker 1: five months before we begin having sex, he was kinky,
- 57:50Speaker 1: like to keep it interested. Now the reason y'all waited
- 57:55Speaker 1: five months is caused probably just probably I'm going out
- 57:59Speaker 1: on the end. It wasn't maiden seasons. I'm just gonna
- 58:06Speaker 1: that's who I'm gonna think. Maybe maybe it just wasn't
- 58:12Speaker 1: maiden season. Now you know you didn't even then y'all
- 58:18Speaker 1: having sex and it went kind of kinky. One night
- 58:21Speaker 1: he just started barking and looking on you like a dog,
- 58:27Speaker 1: and you told him hold on. He said, now just
- 58:31Speaker 1: pat me and say good boy. All right, so you
- 58:34Speaker 1: start patting it now, sirley. But I can't get to
- 58:38Speaker 1: that part yet. But here where it got real. State
- 58:41Speaker 1: that night that he came over and you open the bedroom.
- 58:45Speaker 1: He crawled in on all fours with that leash and
- 58:49Speaker 1: then asked you to walk him outside, and you didn't
- 58:53Speaker 1: want to, but you did. But I'm assuming you had
- 58:58Speaker 1: your clothes on. Maybe you just put your robe on,
- 59:02Speaker 1: so you take your negative ass outside, right, come on,
- 59:06Speaker 1: come on? And he I'm come on? Did he squat
- 59:15Speaker 1: now he was already fo Yeah, but you gotta do
- 59:21Speaker 1: something else. You can't that ain't got humans? Now, yeah,
- 59:27Speaker 1: well you can pee, But I'm talking about that other thing.
- 59:30Speaker 1: If you're trying to do that, you're gonna have to
- 59:33Speaker 1: get in a squat position. Are you fit to have
- 59:36Speaker 1: stuff running all down your damn league? Hold your response?
- 59:43Speaker 1: We last part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:47Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour, subject my man loves to
- 59:50Speaker 1: be in the doghouse. We'll get back into it right
- 59:52Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to all right, Steve, we gotta
- 59:58Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry Letters subject my man loved being in
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: the doghouse. It's woman that met this man that likes
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: to do dog stuff, barg when they're having sex, liquor
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: when they having sex. It got kind of ignorant. One
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: night he came in on all folds naked with a
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: leash round his nag begged her to take his stupid
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: ass outside naked, and she put a robe on and
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: got the leash. He on all fours crawling in the grass.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: He gets out there and he relieves himself in the grass.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Now I know he peed in the grass, but I'm
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: trying to figure out if he tried to number two
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: in this yard, because, as I said on the last break,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: the reason you don't want to do that on all
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: fours because man booty ain't the same and dog booty
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: because dog booty can do things that man booty can't.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Dog booty can push it out, chop it off, clean it,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: go back in. Ain't no sign of it. Human booty
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: don't work that. Human booty requies wipe it in it
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and pattern and washing this. Okay, well I'm just tening
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: now while he outside. Look, come quick, did he pee
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: on your leg? Because after this happened, she didn't call
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: him no more. You should have rolled up a newspaper
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: and just wore his ass out. He probably would have
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: liked that too. Now it's some other problems. You got
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: to deal with him. Now. I can't have sex with
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: him again. Now he's calling me NonStop, want me to
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: hear him out. Then he sent you a link now
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: to an online group of people that also indulge in
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: this fetish. See, so he in deep. You're not gonna
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: change him. He not gonna change him, and you should
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: not be involved with him. And you did a good thing,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: but nah, you pregnant by him. Now surely got on
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: you and tried to tell you why didn't you use
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: protection surely. When have you ever seen a dog with
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: a condo? Harvey, I'm asking you what dog? And I've
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: seen a lot of dogs have sex. Have you ever
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: seen one? Stop? Hold on, wait a minute. I got
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: to get something. I got it up on it, got
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: it taped up on my collar, reaching there and get
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: that funny, I got a dog and now he'd took
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: both pauls, bit it off with his teeth and rolled
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: it on. Dogs don't use condom ship. He's a man. Now,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: you obviously keeping the baby. So now I don't know,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: you have to tell this man as his baby, you
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: do not have to have sex with him again. But
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: if you're gonna have the child, the child should know
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: his father. It's just what you're gonna need to do,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: a supervised visit. But you're gonna go over there and
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: get your baby. One day. Your baby gonna be an
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: account Wow. Yeah, I mean no, I'm just telling you.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: If he thinking a dog, where is this going? The
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: baby is part of a litter, like a puppy. That's
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: how you know. You don't name the dog Scoopy for sure.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Y'all don't know where this is going now, So since
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: this is gonna happen. I'm thinking something like, we gotta
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: get a name, and I think we need to name
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: this baby something that's kind of gonna make him happy
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: but kind of remind you of what you're dealing with. It. Oh, God, Like,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: if your name is Landis, your last name is Landis,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: maybe you can name the baby Rover Landish. Uh. Maybe
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: it's your last name is Johnson. Maybe the baby name
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: can be Skippy Johnson. Oh, I hate you your last
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: name Thompson. Maybe we can name the baby bow huh Bow?
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: How about buddy? Buddy is a good dog name, but
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: sound like name, but dog names that sound like people
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: name Scotty scott it. A lot of people name their
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: dogs scott it. If it's a girl, lasting last I'm
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: just trying to come up with some name last name
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: that's kind of sick. Yes, somebody. I don't like any
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: of you guys, I know, but you gotta you gotta
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: do stuff like you gotta compensate because there's nothing to
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: do about this hill. But if you sleep with a
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: man with all this going on, you gotta be out
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: your mind, you know, you come up with stuff like
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: you know, maybe if his a little girl like Tricksie,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: you know, uh, houndsworths Worth Hounds, Houndsworth Jackson, Houndsworth, Tommy,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: you know something in that so far? I like Skippy
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: and lastly body like Legal Jackson. This is crazy right here? Yeah?
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: This nast all right? Listen? Um. You can email us
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: or instagram us your thoughts on Today's Strawberry Letter at

- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now Coming up at forty
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: six after the hour, some sports talk with the fellas.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: The Lakers got Anthony Davis Junior. Yeah they did. Yeah,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: we'll talk about it right after this. You're listening, all right, Junior?
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Come on, tell us about this Anthony Davis trade to
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: the Lakers. What is that about? Well, let's just say
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: first of all that the Lake of Bandwagon just got
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: so much bigger. Steve, didn't you call this one too?
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: You call this one, didn't you? Well? I said, the
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: only way this would work is if Anthony David somehow
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: goes to the lake. I was surprised though, that it
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: happened this soon. And then what did they give up? Junior? Oh? Um,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: they gave up Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, along
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: with three first round draft picks and including the number one,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: the number four or pick they had this year. All
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: of that, all of us a lot man for Anthony Davis.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: But that yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah he is. He
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: is a game changer immediately. I don't care who you getting.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: The draft ain't gonna be no immediately. Now they'll be
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: better than they was last year. The Pelican's gonna be.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Pelican is gonna be a good team. What's what's Anthony Davis?
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: What's so good about him? Everything? He does? Everything he
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: got post game, he got, go to the rat game.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: He blocked shots, play defense, and he can shoot the
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: long ball, which I am tired of these damn seven
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: footers out here shooting twenty eight percent. Man, get your
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: ass in the basket. Shoot sixty percent and give us
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: two and create an option so they can't live out
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: there at the three point line. I do have a question,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: is the ball the ball Brother's daddy is very unhappy.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: What are we gonna do about that? In New Orleans?
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Because they're gone? Because they gone, they go. First of all,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I think the conversation with him and Magic calmed him down.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: After he met with Magic, I think Magic got the
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: brother to calm down because the ball brother Daddy when
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: somewhere sat down. After that, you ain't really heard from him,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: And I think maybe his son got to him too,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: or the wife. Somebody got to him, but he got
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: out the picture. He cannot resurface in New Orleans because
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: New Orleans ain't the same press as LA. Get you.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: I like the Bnzo ball man. I like him. He's
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: he's he's a great guy and he can ball, but
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: he's a great guy. It is brun James is happy.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: He posted tod let's go. Is Kyrie possible? Will be
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: going there too? Yes? Yeah, If Kyrie goes to LA
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: right now, the Lakers will win a title showtime and
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: I will be back to can about basketball in the
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: playoffs called Lebron to be unit. All right, Well, thank
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: you guys, Thank you Junior. Coming up at the top
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll hear from Jay Jay Anthony Brown.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: We'll get an update from him right after this. You're
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. In case members of
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: our audience don't know Jay, why don't you tell him
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: what's going on with you. I'm dealing with early stages
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: of leukemia. I'm hitting you know, chemo once a month
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: and three times out of the week, three weeks out
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: of the month. You gotta flush your system out. But
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: my attitude from the day I found out that I
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: had it was that I was definitely not going to
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: come in here or when I walk around with a
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: down and dead attitude. I just was not gonna do that.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I just decided that I'm gonna deal with this head on.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: And I have and and I have. I have ran
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: into people who say, man, were you're making jokes about lekemia?
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: This is how I'm dealing with it. This is what
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I'm this is the way I'm gonna deal with it.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: I'm a comedian. Yeah, I am a comedian. I've been
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: married three times. Leukemia can't get me. It is not
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: the way. There is no way it conte what what what?
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: J more than three times? You're lying about that stage
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: I want and I survived that. Do you do you
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: in your right mind think that lekemia can take me
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: away from here? No way, no way. I like to
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I like to also do a spa shout out to
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: the doctor, and I might be saying his name, I'm
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: doctor the seer who's over at to see the sign
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: of the hospital who's a very good, hands on type doctor.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: And I gotta tell Junior this because in the clinic
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: that I go to, there's also a couple of people
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: up there who are getting treated for sick or sale. Now,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: the other day, I'm getting dripped up. Right, I'm in
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: my room and three yeah us what we call it,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: that's what we call it. Chemo. Get your chemo. Yeah,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: you have your bag, chemo, you get your stuff in there.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: And three D sicker sale people come in my room
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: and they, you know, they got a little attitude. They said,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: we don't like the way you talk to Junior because
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: we sick of self pay. I'm like, if y'all don't
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: get your asses out, so Junior call your people off. Man.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: They were all in there all this. The actually like
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: the way that you and I go back and forth
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: and deal with it. Junior has the same at I've
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: never seen Junior down or sad about any thing. Is
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: that type of disease. You can be sad or you
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: can be happy, and I chose to be positive. Let
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: me ask you, Jay, is there anyone who is upset
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: about the way you're handling it? Or is everybody cool
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: with the way, because no, everybody ain't cool. But that's
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: that's what anything. You deal with it. Yeah, and you
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: just there's definitely be people that are not happy with
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: no matter what it is, you deal with it. That's
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: the truth. Like that, you shouldn't talk about divorce like that,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: talk about drugs like that. It doesn't matter. You're gonna
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: get a group of people that dislike you for whatever
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: the set guard decision you choose to be in. And
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: that ain't no lie man, because it doesn't matter. Did
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: you all know that O. J. Simpson is now on Twitter? Yes,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: And he announced it and one of the things he
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: said at the end was, yeah, I'm on Twitter. Just
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: want y'all know I'm on it now. I'm coming with
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: it and just to let you know I got a
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: little getting even I won't I gotta do boy. The
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: first comment on his page was a dude said, oj
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: you don't know how this social media sugar honey, iced
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: tea work? Do you buckle up? Partner and buddy, they
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: lit him up. The best one was it, I see
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: you on social media, throw ahead, O Jake, take a
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: stab at it. Yeah, I've been reading Wow, I want
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: to dude saying hey, man, I need o j can
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: I call you'all got a little I wanted I need
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: a little marital advice? His whole page is they just
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: doing him two comments? Excuse me? Do you all? Are
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: you all familiar what he was acquitted by Jerry of
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: his peers. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that. Yeah, that is
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: what social media due though on Twitter, we ain't on
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: that Jerry. Yeah, but you know he didn't looked at
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Trump and now he want to get on trip. But
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: that's a dumbest de sit. We need gonna learn. Go
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: sit your hands down. So yeah, you out there's so

- 1:14:52Speaker 1: how did Tampa go for you this weekend? Can I
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: tell y'all that this was an amazing weekend in Tampa?
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: First of all, least think not if one seven to
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: beat they were I mean, we had I mean Queen Bee,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: my man, jimmy. Oh, we had a great time. Went
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: to three different Walmart location. They just turned me loose
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: into stove. All is for Walmart. I'm on the income.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I did everything. I feel you're singing a Joda see
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: song singing Joe to see a Walmart. I'm selling phones
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: in Walmart. Huh. So we went to three different Walmarts.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: We went to Largo, we went to clear Water, and
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: we went to Newport Richie Walmart. Man, we had a
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: great time. And thank y'all so much. And I really
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: love Tampa area. It is beautiful over Yeah. Man, they
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: got and they love. They don't have money like that. Yeah.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I love boat and they love us and thanks for
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: that love. Yeah they did all right. Well, congratulations, Junior,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: I'm glad you had a good time. We'll have more
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: this and thirty three after the hour you're listening to
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show to see if you were out at
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: the mentoring camp over the weekend. How was that? Well,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Friday night we did the hub VIP sponsorship event and
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I had these the for Washington's and they had wrote
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: a jingle for chick for late and us. We didn't
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: need you to repeat. I had had them on my
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: show for my talk show. So I surprised me and said,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: I'm bringing y'all to the mentoring camp and so you
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: can go to the Chick fil A ranch. I flew
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: them down that Friday night and they met and then
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: they came up and they sang the whole Chick fil
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: A soul. No No, the kids wrote it. Oh oh
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Doc you are you are to downloaded and play it
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: this morning. But then I got to mess it around
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: with him after they sung, and I said, man, that's
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: my jam. It only takes us black people to write
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: a song about chicken. And the kids picked it up
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: and start singing it right away, and I got in it,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: made got in it my favorite thing to do. Chicken
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: chick chicken fried and salted smothered in gravy wrist, chicken,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: little college green shoes, chicken, back of cheese, Chicken, give
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: it to me anyway, Chicken, my chicken. I'll be all
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: around chicken with just a little bit chicken. Take you down. Children.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: So they sang the whole song, you know, and then
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: it ended. I was just saying, boy, just take black
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: people right song about chicken, because that's how fun we are.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: I said, you know why, it looked like you got problems? Yeah,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: what's wrong? Well, it's a nice song. Everything song, maybe
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: nine thousand songs at all different types of subjects. I
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: can't get him to sing one damn song with me.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: It comes to kids singing, boy, chicken right in. Then
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: you're gonna sing a song. Jay. He did a collab
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: bal He had to give him no sheet music and
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: put it with the butter chicken. Okay, okay, what since
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: you see what? What? And what? Jesus, Jesus and Jesus.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: All right, coming up, we'll have our last break of
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: the day, and of course some closing remarks from the
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: one in um least Steve Harvey. Right after this at
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: forty nine after the hour you're listening to all right, Steve,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day. It's been
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: an exciting week weekend for you. The mentoring camp is over.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Now what's your next project? And then leave us with
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: some closing remarks. Well, uh, back to work and uh
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: produce it and you know, make some announcemith shortly about
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: what's going on career wise, but Rob probably won't do
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: that though, and let people you know, in on a
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: couple of things. Possibly not that's it. I've heard answer
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: the question. Tell them I'm not gonna answer the question
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: because you know what, like Jay said when he was
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: talking about his illness, I don't care how you do it.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: They got something to say about it. It's really sad, man,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: because when you watch social media, which is going to
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: be part of my closing remark today, but I'm going
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: to turn and put a positive sping on it, it
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: is amazing, man, the opportunities that people take to say
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: what they consider the most damaging thing that they can
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: possibly say about another person that they don't even know. Yeah,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: and I've never seen such a place that has such
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: an outpouring of ill will towards a fellow man. And
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: you can often tell what color the person is by
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: the by the type of remark and then if you
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: go to their page, it's private. I think got eighty followers.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: They're just on they're just tagging people. So it's become
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: really sad. But here's a good thing. Let me say
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: this to you. Here's the beauty of it. Yesterday, which
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: was Father's Day, that was some rays of hope all
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: over the place because so many people took to social
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: media to do something good with it. I watched people
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: do something really good with it. In the devastating loss
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: of his young brother, Nipsey Hustle, I watched the outpouring
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: on social media come to his aid and benefit. But
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: on Father's Day yesterday, man, it was like nearly cool
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: because there were so many people man who said something
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: righteous about their fathers. And today I just wanted to
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: take a moment to thank all the fathers out there
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: for being fathers. You know. I had a long talk
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: with some brothers this weekend to our starter move, some
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: very very important people, very famous people. We're trying to
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: get it together to make their announcement. But there's so
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: many fathers incarcerated who backed the Dying Man, Dying Man
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: because they can't be in contact with their kids. And
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: they loved ones. And you know, it's really sad how
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: people go, well, they shouldn't have did what they did.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: The fact that I'm telling you that they backed that dying,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: they could have made another decision. Wish they could be forgiven,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: Wish they could be there, Wish they could turn back
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: their hands and make another decision. All of that still
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: in effect. But the fact that they're back, they're dying
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: and hurting about it is what I'm talking about. Father's
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: Day was Sunday. On Monday, a dear friend of mine's
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: brother who's incarcerated, son was murdered while he was incarcerating.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: So they follow a petition for to allow him to
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: go to his son's funeral, and of course it was denied.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: You ain't going nowhere. You know what the man said
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: to my partner, He said it was his brother who
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: had son had been murdered. He said to my partner,
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: he said, man, you know what, man, I just need
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: a hug from somebody that loved me. Man, That's all
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I want right now. That's all the man wanted from
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: prison was somebody to put their arms around him, that
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: loved him. He said, I ain't felt that in twelve years. Man.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: That crushed me. And then Father's Day came and he
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: ain't a father no more. His son's gone, and he
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: was writing letters to his son, just telling me, man,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: I don't want you to do what I did, but
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: you know he wasn't now so and things happened, and
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: I was just thinking, a man, of how many good
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: men I locked away? Who are fathers? How many daughters
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: don't get to see their daddies. How many sons don't
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: get to see their daddies because they're incostly were headed?
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: But they're still good people, man, They're good fathers. They
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: they were okay in the father department. They made a decision,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: but they were really okay in the father department. You know,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: you could be good at some one thing and not
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: be good at another. But we're so quick to rush
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: to judgment, man, and then we just throw these people
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: away and we act like it don't affect. But when
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: a person's incarcer rating, the whole family is affected. Everybody's affected.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: The children offer ever affected. If they have kids, their
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: grandkids get affected. The woman is affected, the parents are affected,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: the siblings are affected. It's to trickle down. So it's
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: a lot of good brothers in prison, man, that we
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: want to try to do something for it. We're gonna
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: put this plan and implement it. But I was just
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: wanting to take the time out, man to say that
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: all the fathers out there is doing it the right way. Man.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: I appreciate you. I just appreciate you, you man, because
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: I know how hard it is to be a father.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: It's a hard job. Now. This ain't comparing it to motherhood.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: That ain't what I'm doing. I'm just talking about fathers
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: for a minute. I think there's nothing more special than
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: a mother. But the fathers is out here is doing
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: it right. Man. Congratulations, Right on, right on, man, Keep
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: on being soldiers, keep doing what you gotta do. You're
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: making a difference. Man, Don't stop. I don't care how
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: hard it gets. Don't stop. I don't care if you
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: break up with her, don't stop. If you're the mama,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: don't make it. Don't stop because you matter, man, you
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: really really do. Thank you to all the fathers out there.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: Happy Father's Day for real. Drop it, y'all have a
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: great week here, man. I'm looking forward to it already. Yeah,
