- 0:00Speaker 1: President Trump holding a news conference after the shooting at
- 0:03Speaker 1: the White House Correspondence dinner. The President wanting to have
- 0:07Speaker 1: that dinner, but the Secret Service said, dude to protocol.
- 0:10Speaker 1: They did not want him to continue that night, but
- 0:13Speaker 1: he said, we will do it within weeks. What we
- 0:16Speaker 1: know about the suspect, he wrote a manifesto, He attended
- 0:21Speaker 1: the No Kings protests. Senior Trump officials have confirmed the
- 0:27Speaker 1: suspected shooter at the White House correspond Association dinner wrote
- 0:31Speaker 1: this manifesto and attended all of the liberal extremists events.
- 0:36Speaker 1: His name Cole Thomas Allen, thirty one, and he told
- 0:41Speaker 1: the world exactly what he believed in detailing in his
- 0:45Speaker 1: manifesto is intention to target officials in the Trump administration.
- 0:49Speaker 1: A senior Trump official has confirmed this to Fox News's
- 0:53Speaker 1: Jackie Heinrich, who first reported on the details. Allen allegedly
- 0:58Speaker 1: shared the manifesto with family before he allegedly stormed the
- 1:02Speaker 1: Washington Hilton where the dinner was being held in the
- 1:04Speaker 1: ballroom with what NBC News reported was a shotgun, a
- 1:08Speaker 1: handgun in several knives. His brother alert authorities after receiving
- 1:13Speaker 1: the alleged manifesto. Jackie Himra also reported on as Allen
- 1:18Speaker 1: also attended a leftist anti Trump No King's Protest, No
- 1:22Speaker 1: King's Rally. He was a regular at the shooting range
- 1:26Speaker 1: and was a member of a group known as the
- 1:28Speaker 1: Wide Awakes. We also know that a senior Administration official
- 1:34Speaker 1: said the Secret Service interviewed Allen's sister as well. Allen
- 1:38Speaker 1: said her brother had a tendency to make radical statements
- 1:41Speaker 1: and his rhetoric consistently referenced a plan to do something
- 1:44Speaker 1: quote unquote to fix the issues with today's world. According
- 1:49Speaker 1: to Charlie Kirk's executive producer Andrew Corvette, Allen was active
- 1:53Speaker 1: on Blue Sky, where he went by the handle Coldforce
- 1:57Speaker 1: Dot Bluesky dot social with multiple references to violence as
- 2:01Speaker 1: well as guns. In one post, he called President Trump
- 2:05Speaker 1: the Anti Christ. In another, he recommended buying guns in
- 2:10Speaker 1: reaction to Trump's doj exploring ways to ban firearm purchases
- 2:15Speaker 1: from transgenders. The Los Angeles Times also reported the firearms
- 2:21Speaker 1: were obtained legally, and according to Jackie Hinrich reporting Alan
- 2:26Speaker 1: bought guns at a Cap Tactical Firearms store. President Donald
- 2:32Speaker 1: Trump was rushed off the stage after the shots rang
- 2:35Speaker 1: out discussed the alleged manifesto with Fox News Sunday, the
- 2:40Speaker 1: guy is a sick guy. Trump said, when you read
- 2:43Speaker 1: his manifesto, he hates Christians, That's one thing for sure.
- 2:48Speaker 1: He hates Christians a hatred. And I think it's his
- 2:52Speaker 1: sister or his brother actually was complaining about it. You know,
- 2:55Speaker 1: they were even complaining to law enforcement. So he was
- 2:58Speaker 1: he was a very trouble guy. Acting Attorney General Todd
- 3:03Speaker 1: blanche said on NBC's Meet the Press that it appears
- 3:06Speaker 1: Alan traveled from Los Angeles to Chicago, then to Washington,
- 3:10Speaker 1: dcvia train and checked into the Hilton a day or
- 3:14Speaker 1: two before the dinner took place. Now, I go back
- 3:18Speaker 1: to the President of the United States of America being calm,
- 3:22Speaker 1: incredibly cool, and collected. He has gone through this now
- 3:27Speaker 1: multiple times where people have tried to kill him. He
- 3:31Speaker 1: even went back to the White House to address the nation.
- 3:35Speaker 1: And I want to start first with those comments that
- 3:38Speaker 1: you can hear the President and what he had to
- 3:40Speaker 1: say to the world. But before we get to that,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I want to tell you about our good friends at
- 3:45Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. America is entering the two hundred and fiftieth
- 3:49Speaker 1: year and the direction of this country is being decided
- 3:52Speaker 1: right now in our culture and our economy, and who
- 3:55Speaker 1: we choose is support matters more than ever. Most wireless
- 3:59Speaker 1: come companies don't care who you are or what you believe.
- 4:03Speaker 1: They just want your money. Patriot Mobile they're different. For
- 4:07Speaker 1: more than twelve years, they've stood with Americans who believe
- 4:10Speaker 1: freedom is worth defending, funding the Christian Conservative movement when
- 4:15Speaker 1: others stay silent. That's what they do. So here's the deal.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You don't have to give up quality or service when
- 4:21Speaker 1: you switch to Patriot Mobile. They deliver premium priority access
- 4:26Speaker 1: on all three major US networks, so you'll get the
- 4:30Speaker 1: same or better coverage than you have today. Think switching
- 4:34Speaker 1: as a hassle, It isn't anymore in twenty twenty six.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You keep your number, keep your phone, or upgrade, and
- 4:40Speaker 1: their one hundred percent US based support team can activate
- 4:43Speaker 1: you in minutes, still paying off a device. Patriot Mobile
- 4:47Speaker 1: even offers a contract buyout. This is a defining year.
- 4:52Speaker 1: We must work together to save our country. Go to
- 4:55Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile dot com, slash ferguson or call nine seven
- 5:00Speaker 1: to Patriot used the promo code ferguson for a free
- 5:05Speaker 1: month of service. I use Patriot Mobile and you can
- 5:08Speaker 1: too patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven to
- 5:12Speaker 1: two Patriot switched today. Now, all this is happening while
- 5:16Speaker 1: we're also dealing with a ran and the present understanding
- 5:19Speaker 1: that he needed to address the country, and the president
- 5:22Speaker 1: was actually incredibly calm and bringing people together, not dividing.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Listen carefully.
- 5:30Speaker 2: That was very unexpected, but incredibly acted upon by Secret
- 5:38Speaker 2: Service and law enforcement. And this was an event dedicated
- 5:43Speaker 2: to freedom of speech, that was supposed to bring together
- 5:48Speaker 2: members of both parties with members of the press, and
- 5:52Speaker 2: in a certain way it did because the fact that
- 5:57Speaker 2: they just unified us to a room that was just
- 5:59Speaker 2: totally It was in one way, very beautiful, a very
- 6:03Speaker 2: beautiful thing to see a man charged a security checkpoint,
- 6:07Speaker 2: armed with multiple weapons and he was taken down by
- 6:12Speaker 2: some very brave members of Secret Service, and they acted
- 6:14Speaker 2: very quickly. And have just released for purposes of transparency clarity,
- 6:21Speaker 2: I've ordered it to be put out.
- 6:24Speaker 3: You probably have.
- 6:25Speaker 2: It by now, put out on Truth and put out
- 6:28Speaker 2: on many of the platforms, a tape showing the violence
- 6:31Speaker 2: of this thug that attacked our constitution and also showing
- 6:36Speaker 2: how quickly, Secret Service and law enforcement acted on our
- 6:40Speaker 2: country's behalf.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Really did a great job.
- 6:44Speaker 2: One officer was shot, but say by the fact that
- 6:48Speaker 2: he was wearing obviously a very good bulletproof. This he
- 6:52Speaker 2: was shot from very close distance with a very powerful
- 6:57Speaker 2: gun and did the job.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I just spoke to the officer and he's doing great.
- 7:03Speaker 2: He's great shape, he has very high spirits, and we
- 7:11Speaker 2: told him we love him and respect him.
- 7:14Speaker 3: And he's a very proud guy.
- 7:16Speaker 2: He's very proud of what he does. Secret Service Agent.
- 7:21Speaker 2: And we looked at all of the conditions that took
- 7:25Speaker 2: place tonight and I will say, you know, it's not
- 7:29Speaker 2: a particularly secure building. And I didn't want to say this,
- 7:35Speaker 2: but this is why we have to have all of
- 7:38Speaker 2: the attributes of what we're planning at the White House.
- 7:42Speaker 2: It's actually a larger room and it's much more secure.
- 7:46Speaker 2: It's got it's drone proof, it's bulletproof.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Last we need the ballroom.
- 7:50Speaker 2: That's why Secret Service, that's why the military are demanding it.
- 7:54Speaker 2: They've wanted the ballroom for one hundred and fifty years
- 7:56Speaker 2: for lots of different reasons. But today's a little bit
- 8:01Speaker 2: different because today we need levels of security that probably
- 8:05Speaker 2: nobody's ever seen before, but everyone knows a tremendous dead
- 8:10Speaker 2: of gratitude to the courage of law enforcement, the law
- 8:15Speaker 2: enforcement and working with the DC police.
- 8:18Speaker 3: And just spoke with the mayor.
- 8:20Speaker 2: And when we're finished, the police chief is going to
- 8:24Speaker 2: take over and discuss it also from their viewpoint. But
- 8:30Speaker 2: they also performed exactly as they were supposed to. And
- 8:33Speaker 2: you see the attacker in different positions, but you also
- 8:37Speaker 2: see the attacker totally.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Subdued and under control.
- 8:42Speaker 2: So as you know, this is not the first time
- 8:44Speaker 2: in the past couple of years that our republic has
- 8:47Speaker 2: been attacked by would be assassin who sought to kill
- 8:52Speaker 2: but Pennsylvania less than two years ago, you know all
- 8:55Speaker 2: know that story. And in Pompbach, Florida, a few months
- 8:58Speaker 2: after that close we really had again, we had some
- 9:03Speaker 2: great work done by law enforcement. But in light of
- 9:07Speaker 2: this evening's events, I asked that all Americans recommit with
- 9:11Speaker 2: their hearts and resolving our difference peacefully. We have to,
- 9:16Speaker 2: we have to resolve our differences.
- 9:18Speaker 4: I will say, you.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Had Republicans, Democrats, independents, conservatives, liberals, and progressives. Those words
- 9:27Speaker 2: are interchangeable, perhaps, but maybe they're not, but yet everybody
- 9:30Speaker 2: in that room, big.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Crowd, record setting crowd.
- 9:33Speaker 2: There was a record setting group of people, and there
- 9:38Speaker 2: was a tremendous amount of love and coming together.
- 9:41Speaker 3: I watched, I watched, and I was very very impressed
- 9:45Speaker 3: by that.
- 9:46Speaker 2: But we were first late and I were taking very
- 9:51Speaker 2: well care, very quickly, very quickly rushed off the stage.
- 9:55Speaker 1: The president there talking Literally moments after addressing nation would happen.
- 10:01Speaker 1: But the President wasn't done. He did a sit down
- 10:03Speaker 1: with sixty minutes talking about now what we know about
- 10:07Speaker 1: this attacker and I'm going to have that for you
- 10:10Speaker 1: coming up in just a moment, and I want to
- 10:14Speaker 1: go back to this other point. So not only did
- 10:17Speaker 1: the President do a press conference in the White House
- 10:19Speaker 1: trying to bring the country together, talking about when need
- 10:23Speaker 1: to settle our differences in a very different way, but
- 10:28Speaker 1: the President also said something else that was really interesting
- 10:33Speaker 1: in his sit down with sixty minutes. The President clearly
- 10:36Speaker 1: wanted to have a conversation and wanted to talk early on.
- 10:41Speaker 1: He wanted to go out there and yet again, be transparent.
- 10:46Speaker 1: That is what he loves to do. He likes the
- 10:49Speaker 1: press to have access to him. He's in favor of that,
- 10:52Speaker 1: and it's truly incredible.
- 10:55Speaker 4: And so the.
- 10:55Speaker 1: President said, after this third assassination attempt on him, Yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'll sit down, Let's do an interview, Let's let's knock
- 11:03Speaker 1: it out. Let's talk to the American people. Transparency on display.
- 11:07Speaker 1: When many would seek shelter, when many would move backwards
- 11:13Speaker 1: not forward, when many would say I'm not going out,
- 11:18Speaker 1: I'm not talking to anybody for a few days, the
- 11:20Speaker 1: President's like, yeah, let's go. President, I's it's America. I
- 11:24Speaker 1: want to talk to the American people. You want to
- 11:25Speaker 1: sit down with me, I will do it. That is
- 11:28Speaker 1: incredibly brave. It's also what great leaders do. I want
- 11:34Speaker 1: you to listen to, President and how Sixty Minutes describes
- 11:37Speaker 1: what happened at the White House Corresponden's dinner.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Last night in the nation's capital. A gunman stormed the
- 11:45Speaker 5: security perimeter at the White House Correspondence dinner. The President,
- 11:49Speaker 5: the First Lady, the Vice President, cabinet members, and more
- 11:53Speaker 5: than two thousand, five hundred guests were gathered to celebrate
- 11:56Speaker 5: the First Amendment and freedom of the press. After shots
- 12:00Speaker 5: were fired, the president was evacuated. It was at the
- 12:04Speaker 5: same hotel for President Ronald Reagan was nearly assassinated by
- 12:08Speaker 5: John Hinckley forty five years ago. Tonight, federal investigators are
- 12:13Speaker 5: looking into the motive of the alleged gunman, a thirty
- 12:16Speaker 5: one year old teacher from Torrence, California. He emailed what
- 12:20Speaker 5: a senior official called a manifesto to his family minutes
- 12:24Speaker 5: before the attack. He wrote he was targeting members of
- 12:28Speaker 5: the Trump administration. We spoke with President Trump this afternoon
- 12:32Speaker 5: at the White House about what happened. Mister President, do
- 12:36Speaker 5: you know if you were the target of the gunman?
- 12:40Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 12:41Speaker 2: It sounds to me I read a manifesto. He's radicalized.
- 12:47Speaker 2: He was a Christian believer and then he became an
- 12:51Speaker 2: anti Christian, and he had a lot of change. She's
- 12:54Speaker 2: been going through a lot based on what he wrote.
- 12:57Speaker 2: His brother complained about him, and I think reported him
- 12:59Speaker 2: to the police, and his sister likewise complained about him.
- 13:02Speaker 2: His family, who was very concerned. He was probably a
- 13:07Speaker 2: pretty sick guy.
- 13:08Speaker 5: I was in the room not far from you, mister President.
- 13:14Speaker 5: Could hear what sounded like gunshots or commotion. People nearby
- 13:18Speaker 5: could smell the gunpowder. Everybody hit the floor. How worried
- 13:23Speaker 5: were you that there were going to be injuries.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I wasn't worried. I understand life. We live in a
- 13:31Speaker 2: crazy world.
- 13:33Speaker 5: You are sitting there next to the first lady. The
- 13:37Speaker 5: entertainer named os Pearlman is talking to you, is known
- 13:40Speaker 5: as the mentalist.
- 13:42Speaker 6: When did you know something was wrong?
- 13:44Speaker 4: Right around that point?
- 13:46Speaker 2: In fact, you can see the expression on the first
- 13:49Speaker 2: lady's face. And you're president of the evening chairman or
- 13:55Speaker 2: president or both. Who was doing a great job, by
- 13:58Speaker 2: the way, Jangs, she was a terrific person. They were
- 14:02Speaker 2: asking the name of Caroline's child that he didn't know.
- 14:07Speaker 5: I guess he were the secretaries expecting and he was
- 14:10Speaker 5: trying to guess her baby's name. That's right, you mentioned
- 14:13Speaker 5: the first lady her face. She looked very alarmed. Was
- 14:18Speaker 5: she scared?
- 14:19Speaker 2: Well, I don't want to say, and people don't like
- 14:22Speaker 2: having it said that they were scared, but certainly, I mean,
- 14:24Speaker 2: who wouldn't be when you have a.
- 14:26Speaker 4: Situation like that.
- 14:27Speaker 2: By that time, I think she realized ahead of time
- 14:30Speaker 2: that that was more of a.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Bullet than it was a tray, and she was.
- 14:37Speaker 2: I looked at her face just a little while ago
- 14:39Speaker 2: before I came I saw the scene. They played it
- 14:42Speaker 2: for me in you know, pretty good close up, and
- 14:48Speaker 2: she looked very upset about what just took place.
- 14:51Speaker 4: You know, why not.
- 14:53Speaker 5: You see the security moving quickly within seconds, grabbing the
- 14:58Speaker 5: vice president by his co lifting him up, bringing him out.
- 15:03Speaker 5: Then the counter assault comes in. Took ten seconds for
- 15:07Speaker 5: them to flank you, mister president, and then twenty seconds
- 15:10Speaker 5: to get you out. It looked chaotic. At one point
- 15:13Speaker 5: you were down. What was happening?
- 15:15Speaker 2: Well, what happened is it was a little bit of me.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I wanted to see what was happening, and I wasn't
- 15:21Speaker 2: making it that easy for him.
- 15:22Speaker 4: I wanted to see what was going on.
- 15:26Speaker 2: And by that time we started to realize maybe it
- 15:29Speaker 2: was a bad problem, different kind of a problem, bad
- 15:32Speaker 2: one and different than what would be normal noise from
- 15:36Speaker 2: a ballroom, which you hear all the time. And I
- 15:41Speaker 2: was surrounded by great people, and I probably made them
- 15:46Speaker 2: act a little bit more slowly. I said, wait a minute,
- 15:48Speaker 2: Wait a minute, let me see wait a minute.
- 15:50Speaker 5: So you know, I'm telling guys, just at that moment
- 15:52Speaker 5: where it looks like you go sort of down with
- 15:54Speaker 5: the sort of thing you were telling them to wait.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Well, I know what happened is then I started walking
- 15:58Speaker 2: with him. I turned, I started walking, and then said
- 16:00Speaker 2: please go down, Please go down on the floor. So
- 16:04Speaker 2: I went down, and first lady went down also, But
- 16:08Speaker 2: we were asked to go down by the agents as
- 16:11Speaker 2: I was walking.
- 16:12Speaker 4: In other words, I wanted you.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Almost to crawl.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Were standing up pretty much.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I was standing up and then turned around the opposite
- 16:20Speaker 2: direction and started pretty much walking out, pretty tall, a
- 16:24Speaker 2: little bent over because they you know, I'm not looking
- 16:28Speaker 2: to be standing too tall.
- 16:30Speaker 4: And but I was walking out.
- 16:32Speaker 2: It was pretty about halfway there, and they said, please
- 16:34Speaker 2: go down to the floor, Please go down to the floor.
- 16:36Speaker 4: So I dropped to the floor. So to the first lady,
- 16:39Speaker 4: what was.
- 16:39Speaker 5: Your thought at that moment?
- 16:40Speaker 6: What did the first lady say?
- 16:42Speaker 4: Well, my thought was, you know, I've been through this
- 16:44Speaker 4: before a couple of times and she has not to
- 16:49Speaker 4: this extent. She handled great.
- 16:51Speaker 2: I mean she was She's very strong, smart, she got it,
- 16:55Speaker 2: she knew what was happening.
- 16:56Speaker 4: She listened. I did too, but this was the first
- 16:58Speaker 4: time she said.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Yeah, when they had dropped down, that meant trouble. And
- 17:03Speaker 2: obviously I'm the president, and I listened to what they
- 17:06Speaker 2: said please hrup down, so please shrop down. So I
- 17:10Speaker 2: was walking halfway and then I dropped down at the
- 17:12Speaker 2: final because we had little ways to go where you're
- 17:15Speaker 2: exposed to the ballroom surroundings. And then I got up
- 17:21Speaker 2: and we went to a whole room for a while,
- 17:25Speaker 2: and I.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Tried to get them to continue the event if possible,
- 17:29Speaker 4: you wanted to go back in. I did, I really did.
- 17:31Speaker 5: You can see the gunman running through the metal detectors
- 17:35Speaker 5: and he fired off one or two rounds.
- 17:38Speaker 4: His speed was rather incredible. Actually, he was like a blur.
- 17:42Speaker 5: How did he get that close with the place swarming
- 17:44Speaker 5: with security?
- 17:45Speaker 2: I will say I say it because I'm a big
- 17:49Speaker 2: fan of the people of law enforcement, and you know,
- 17:53Speaker 2: some of these people they may be crazy, but they're
- 17:55Speaker 2: not stupid and they figure things out.
- 17:58Speaker 4: He ran forty five yard.
- 18:00Speaker 2: As they say, and he just went to it and
- 18:03Speaker 2: then boom, he popped through it. I mean he ran
- 18:06Speaker 2: like I think the NFL should sign him up. He
- 18:08Speaker 2: was fast when you look at it, and it's almost
- 18:11Speaker 2: like a blur, right, But it was amazing because as
- 18:15Speaker 2: soon as they saw that, you could see them drawing
- 18:18Speaker 2: their guns. They were so professional aim their guns, and
- 18:20Speaker 2: then they took him down immediately.
- 18:23Speaker 6: Two hours later, the President was back at the White
- 18:26Speaker 6: House to brief reporters.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I want to take it just to pause there, and
- 18:31Speaker 1: it is truly incredible to hear the President talk even now,
- 18:35Speaker 1: so calmly about this with such clarity, where it's just
- 18:40Speaker 1: become part of his day, it is become a normal
- 18:46Speaker 1: part of his year to have someone try to kill him.
- 18:50Speaker 1: And the question is why. The answer is also clear
- 18:56Speaker 1: because the radical left in the Democratic Party has normalized
- 18:59Speaker 1: put it violence and has made people believe that if
- 19:05Speaker 1: you don't like someone for their political beliefs, or you
- 19:08Speaker 1: don't like the outcome of an election, you're allowed to
- 19:11Speaker 1: then go kill that said leader. This is the Democrat's
- 19:16Speaker 1: fault period. The President even saying, yes, I will sit
- 19:21Speaker 1: down with CBS for sixty minutes, who by the way,
- 19:23Speaker 1: they have amplified the disdain for the President United States
- 19:27Speaker 1: of America on their shows, and yet the President says,
- 19:30Speaker 1: I will sit down and talk to you. I want
- 19:33Speaker 1: you to hear part two of what the President had
- 19:35Speaker 1: to say. With sixty minutes, I saw.
- 19:38Speaker 3: A room that was just totally unified. It was in
- 19:40Speaker 3: one way very beautiful.
- 19:42Speaker 5: Do you think this will change your relationship with the press.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Well, look, for whatever reason, we disagree on a lot
- 19:51Speaker 2: of subjects, we talk about crime. I'm very strong on crime.
- 19:57Speaker 2: It seems like the press is and it's so much suppressed.
- 20:01Speaker 2: It's suppressed plus the Democrats, because they're almost one and
- 20:04Speaker 2: the same.
- 20:04Speaker 4: It's like the craziest thing. I have the.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Strongest border we've ever had in the country. Where as
- 20:10Speaker 2: you know, it said zero people for nine months came
- 20:13Speaker 2: into our country to our southern We have a very
- 20:15Speaker 2: tough border.
- 20:17Speaker 5: The so called manifesto is a stunning thing to read.
- 20:20Speaker 5: Mister President. He appears to reference a motive in it.
- 20:24Speaker 5: He writes this, quote administration officials, they are targets. And
- 20:29Speaker 5: he also wrote this, I'm no longer willing to permit
- 20:32Speaker 5: a pedophile, rapist, and trader to coat my hands with
- 20:36Speaker 5: his crimes. What's your reaction.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Well, I was waiting for you to read that because
- 20:39Speaker 4: I knew you would, because you're you're horrible people. Horrible people. Yeah,
- 20:44Speaker 4: he did write that, I'm not a rapist. I didn't
- 20:47Speaker 4: rape anybody. I think he was referring to excuse me.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I'm not a pedophile. You read that crap from some
- 20:56Speaker 2: sick person I got associated with stuff that has nothing
- 21:02Speaker 2: to do with me. I was totally exonerated. Your friends
- 21:05Speaker 2: on the other side of the plate are the ones
- 21:09Speaker 2: that were involved with let's say Epstein or other things.
- 21:14Speaker 2: But I said to myself, you know, I'll do this
- 21:16Speaker 2: interview and they'll probably read the manifesto. You know it's
- 21:19Speaker 2: a sick person, But you should be ashamed of yourself
- 21:23Speaker 2: reading that because I'm not any of those things. Excuse me,
- 21:30Speaker 2: you shouldn't be reading that in sixteen minutes. You're a disgrace.
- 21:33Speaker 2: But go ahead, let's finish the interview.
- 21:34Speaker 5: The other thing that he wrote in the disgraceful the
- 21:37Speaker 5: other thing in the manifesto that I think is worth
- 21:40Speaker 5: looking at in terms of determining his motive. He had
- 21:43Speaker 5: been staying at the hotel since Friday. He checked in.
- 21:47Speaker 5: He said he had cased the place, and he wrote,
- 21:49Speaker 5: what the hell is the Secret Service doing? And he
- 21:51Speaker 5: wrote this quote. I expected security cameras at every bend,
- 21:55Speaker 5: bugged hotel rooms, armed agents every ten feet, metal detectors
- 21:59Speaker 5: out the water. Do what I got is nothing? He wrote,
- 22:02Speaker 5: like this level of incompetence is insane. Sir, you have
- 22:06Speaker 5: already had two.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Well, he was pretty incompetent too, because he got caught,
- 22:10Speaker 2: and he got caught pretty easily, So I'd say he
- 22:13Speaker 2: was pretty incompetent too. You know, I could take any
- 22:15Speaker 2: event having to do with security or anything else, I
- 22:18Speaker 2: can always find fault. Those guys did a good job
- 22:21Speaker 2: last night. They did a really good job.
- 22:24Speaker 5: I mentioned that because again as his motive, you brought
- 22:27Speaker 5: this up. He had social media accounts that had anti
- 22:30Speaker 5: Trump and anti Christian rhetoric.
- 22:33Speaker 4: You should read what on you read all the anti Trump?
- 22:36Speaker 4: You just did what and you read it?
- 22:39Speaker 5: Well, he had a lot of anti Christian rhetoric he had.
- 22:43Speaker 5: He was part of a group called the Wide Awakes.
- 22:46Speaker 5: He had attended No King's protest in California. Kings, what
- 22:50Speaker 5: did security tell you about?
- 22:51Speaker 4: Was the reason you have people like that is you
- 22:54Speaker 4: have people doing no Kings. I'm not a king? What
- 22:57Speaker 4: I am? If I was a king, I wouldn't be
- 22:59Speaker 4: dealing with you.
- 23:00Speaker 5: Also at the dinner last night was your secretary Robert F.
- 23:03Speaker 5: Kennedy Junior. His sister Carrie Kennedy was there. They've both
- 23:08Speaker 5: witnessed their father and their uncle the assassinated. Erica Kirk
- 23:13Speaker 5: was there. The House Majority Leader Steve Scalise was there.
- 23:19Speaker 5: Political violence has touched so many people in that room.
- 23:24Speaker 5: Is there something that you, as president can do, what
- 23:27Speaker 5: can be done to change the trajectory?
- 23:30Speaker 2: You know, you go back twenty years, forty years, one
- 23:35Speaker 2: hundred years, two hundred years, five hundred years to always
- 23:39Speaker 2: been there. People are assassinated, people are injured, people are hurt,
- 23:46Speaker 2: and I'm not sure that it's any more now than
- 23:48Speaker 2: there was. I do think that the hate speech of
- 23:51Speaker 2: the Democrats much more so, is very dangerous.
- 23:54Speaker 4: I really think it's very dangerous of the country.
- 23:57Speaker 6: President Trump told us he hopes to move events like
- 24:00Speaker 6: last night's prescala to the new East Wing ballroom that
- 24:04Speaker 6: he says is a head of schedule, though it won't
- 24:06Speaker 6: be ready until twenty twenty eight, but he wants last
- 24:10Speaker 6: night's dinner to be rescheduled much sooner than that. You
- 24:14Speaker 6: are committed to doing this event with the White House
- 24:16Speaker 6: correspondents inner.
- 24:17Speaker 5: It's about freedom of the press.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I want them because I don't want to see it
- 24:20Speaker 2: be canceled. I don't want to have a crazy person.
- 24:24Speaker 2: I think it's really bad for a crazy person to
- 24:26Speaker 2: be able to cancel something like this. There are great
- 24:29Speaker 2: people in the press to like a name, but I
- 24:32Speaker 2: don't want to embarrass your show. We have some great
- 24:34Speaker 2: people in the press, some very fair people, and people
- 24:36Speaker 2: that are just on my side. But for the most part,
- 24:38Speaker 2: it's a very liberal or very progressive let's use the
- 24:41Speaker 2: word liberal liberal press. But I was just really I
- 24:47Speaker 2: was really happy to see the I don't know how
- 24:50Speaker 2: long it'll last, the relationship, the friendship, the spirit. After
- 24:57Speaker 2: a very bad event took place now turned out to
- 25:00Speaker 2: be much less bad because nobody was killed, nobody was hurt.
- 25:04Speaker 2: The Secret Service agent I spoke to him, he had
- 25:08Speaker 2: a bulletproof.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Vest on, unbelievable. He's okay, Oh, he's one hundred percent. Yeah, no,
- 25:12Speaker 4: he was one hundred percent.
- 25:13Speaker 2: He didn't want to go to the hospital, he really didn't.
- 25:16Speaker 2: They asked him to go, and he didn't want to go.
- 25:18Speaker 2: He said, I don't need to go to the hospital,
- 25:20Speaker 2: but he went because they asked him to go.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Well, I know the White House Correspondence Association very much
- 25:25Speaker 5: appreciates you going last night and honoring a commitment to
- 25:29Speaker 5: do it.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Hope we're going to do it again.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Nora, tell him to get it going, and we should
- 25:35Speaker 2: do it within thirty days, and they'll have even more
- 25:38Speaker 2: security and they'll have bigger perimeter security. It'll be fine.
- 25:43Speaker 2: But tell him to do it again. We can't let something.
- 25:47Speaker 2: It's not that I want to go. I'm very busy.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I don't need that. I think it's very important that
- 25:53Speaker 2: they do it again.
- 25:55Speaker 1: The President of the United States of America doing this
- 25:57Speaker 1: incredible interview. It also you could hear that point there
- 26:01Speaker 1: that was disgusting. That's the best way I can describe it,
- 26:06Speaker 1: where she reads the manifesto like it is fact that
- 26:09Speaker 1: the President knights it's America's committee's heinous crimes. It was disgusting.
- 26:14Speaker 1: She did it on purpose. She chose that part of
- 26:17Speaker 1: the manifesto to try to undermine and slant of the
- 26:19Speaker 1: President Knights. It's America who someone just tried to kill
- 26:22Speaker 1: again and justified the shooter. Well, you are these things, right,
- 26:27Speaker 1: mister president, Like you know well, he says it's because
- 26:29Speaker 1: you did these things, mister president. I'm glad that the President.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I'll be honest with you, my words would have probably
- 26:38Speaker 1: been much more like you can go to a bad place.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Would I would have said, you know, this is exactly
- 26:44Speaker 1: why they're trying to kill me because of people like you.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I would have made it that clear in that blunt
- 26:49Speaker 1: It is really sad that even those they are supposed
- 26:52Speaker 1: to be like the least non violent, like are non biased.
- 26:58Speaker 1: I should say, let me rephrase that, like the main
- 27:01Speaker 1: anchors of like sixty minutes, like you would think that
- 27:05Speaker 1: in this moment, she would have a little bit of class.
- 27:09Speaker 1: But they hate Donald Trump so much that even when
- 27:13Speaker 1: they get the exclusive after what we just witnessed hours after,
- 27:18Speaker 1: they still make sure they take a shot to slander
- 27:22Speaker 1: the president of the United States of America to imply
- 27:26Speaker 1: that somehow he deserved this. Well, it's president. You know
- 27:31Speaker 1: they hate you for X, Y, and Z, and isn't
- 27:33Speaker 1: that justifiable to want to try to kill you. That's
- 27:36Speaker 1: what Noradno basically should.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Have just said.
- 27:38Speaker 1: There's that is the ballgame, and it's sick. Thank goodness
- 27:45Speaker 1: they failed. Don't forget Share this podcast please with your
- 27:49Speaker 1: family and your friends wherever they are, and I will
- 27:52Speaker 1: see you back here tomorrow.
