- 1:46Speaker 1: the water water go? Come come on your back, Uh huh,
- 2:01Speaker 1: i's your will A good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on, dig me now, one it only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. You know. I think
- 2:11Speaker 1: I'll explain something, y'all. You know when when I when
- 2:14Speaker 1: I wake up in the morning and I say, dig
- 2:17Speaker 1: me now, what I'm asking you to do is it's
- 2:20Speaker 1: old school, you know, man, and you know you say
- 2:22Speaker 1: old people say I dig you know, never stop saying it. Sorry,
- 2:28Speaker 1: but dig me now. It's just I want you to
- 2:31Speaker 1: don't you really feel me? I want you to understand
- 2:33Speaker 1: what I'm saying, because really, this morning inspiration is all
- 2:37Speaker 1: given in the spirit of sharing and love. It ain't
- 2:40Speaker 1: about to expose me in any way. That's not the
- 2:44Speaker 1: purpose of it. But I found that in my morning
- 2:47Speaker 1: inspiration that is best that I use some things about myself,
- 2:51Speaker 1: because I mean, what better example can I use? Because
- 2:53Speaker 1: I know me, I know what's happened to me. I
- 2:56Speaker 1: know exactly how I felt all along the way concerning
- 3:00Speaker 1: almost everything, every aspect of my life. I now fully
- 3:04Speaker 1: do really understand why God had my life spend the
- 3:08Speaker 1: way it spun. And here's the part that I want
- 3:11Speaker 1: to give to you this morning, that, first of all,
- 3:14Speaker 1: whatever position you find yourself in today, we kind of
- 3:17Speaker 1: come to one realization that we got ourselves there. We
- 3:22Speaker 1: put ourselves there by a series of thoughts and actions.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Thoughts turned into things. That's very important to know. So
- 3:32Speaker 1: let's look at both sides of it. For people who
- 3:34Speaker 1: think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things, and the
- 3:42Speaker 1: direct opposite is true. For those who think positive thoughts,
- 3:47Speaker 1: it turns into positive things. That's the deal. It's it's
- 3:53Speaker 1: as simple as that, folks. I cannot break it down
- 3:57Speaker 1: any cleaner, I cannot make get any clearer. Thoughts become things.
- 4:04Speaker 1: So the one glaring question for all of us always
- 4:09Speaker 1: is on a daily basis, what are you thinking? What
- 4:12Speaker 1: are your thoughts? What are you thinking? What are your thoughts?
- 4:18Speaker 1: Because I can assure you and it's not by or
- 4:22Speaker 1: promise of mind. This is not a theory that Steve
- 4:26Speaker 1: Harvey then came up with. This is a fact of life.
- 4:31Speaker 1: This is biblical, this is spiritual, This is written, this
- 4:36Speaker 1: is philosophical. This is the law of the universe. However,
- 4:40Speaker 1: you need to drink this medicine to take to get
- 4:43Speaker 1: it down and feel what I'm saying to you. This
- 4:46Speaker 1: is just the way it is now and here the
- 4:48Speaker 1: cold part, folks. It don't matter if you believe me
- 4:53Speaker 1: or not. It does not matter if you have never
- 4:57Speaker 1: been explained this or not. And it does not matter
- 5:02Speaker 1: if you think it works in your life or not.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It don't matter. Listen to me. It is the way
- 5:08Speaker 1: it is. It is a scriptural, it is a spiritual,
- 5:13Speaker 1: it is philosophical, and it's just one of the law
- 5:16Speaker 1: of the universe. You call whatever you want call. However,
- 5:19Speaker 1: you got to dress this thing up to put it
- 5:22Speaker 1: in the phase that you can feel me. I want
- 5:24Speaker 1: you to feel me now, because this is all it is.
- 5:27Speaker 1: So when I say that you are where we are
- 5:30Speaker 1: today because we thought ourselves here, are your best to
- 5:34Speaker 1: believe that's true? You thought yourself here, no one else. See.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Let me explain something. I got people around me who
- 5:43Speaker 1: so badly want to take credit for it, but I
- 5:46Speaker 1: don't allow it. But because I keep pointing to the heavens,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I keep pointing and and trying to say it out
- 5:56Speaker 1: loud as many times as I can without being so
- 6:00Speaker 1: into that my life is by design, by grace and mercy,
- 6:05Speaker 1: by blessings from God. My life is because God has
- 6:09Speaker 1: seen it to be so. Oh, but I got plenty
- 6:12Speaker 1: of people around me want credit for it and want
- 6:15Speaker 1: you to not give credit to God and give it
- 6:18Speaker 1: to them. I got that. I got that, But I
- 6:20Speaker 1: understand that. See, I understand what that is. That's a
- 6:24Speaker 1: person whose design is to get the credit. But it's okay.
- 6:30Speaker 1: It's so clear to me what my father was saying
- 6:32Speaker 1: to me. Man, I get it. As I get older
- 6:34Speaker 1: and older, he always said to me, son, everybody come
- 6:38Speaker 1: with you, can't go with you, see every you know,
- 6:42Speaker 1: I don't know how people say that in church. You know,
- 6:44Speaker 1: sometimes they go people come into your life for seasons,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and I guess the same thing. You know, they season up,
- 6:50Speaker 1: they're gone, well, you know, and then but then here
- 6:54Speaker 1: the way they try to hold you though, or you're
- 6:56Speaker 1: gonna forget where you come from. Oh, you ain't gonna
- 6:59Speaker 1: keep your real no more. And so you find yourself
- 7:03Speaker 1: trying to not forget where you come from and keep
- 7:06Speaker 1: it real no more. But to what end is it
- 7:10Speaker 1: to the good of your end? Or is it to
- 7:11Speaker 1: the good of the end? To what end is keeping
- 7:14Speaker 1: it real and not forgetting where you come from if
- 7:17Speaker 1: it does not allow you to progress and move forward.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I got where I come from. I don't want to
- 7:23Speaker 1: stay that no more. I don't forget where I come from.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I know full well what I've been through. But that's
- 7:29Speaker 1: what drives me, because I don't want to go back
- 7:31Speaker 1: to that. That's the push for me. I don't want
- 7:35Speaker 1: that no more. I don't want to go back where
- 7:37Speaker 1: I come from. I don't want to keep it that
- 7:40Speaker 1: real no more. It was real enough for me living
- 7:42Speaker 1: in the car. I had enough of that real. I'm
- 7:45Speaker 1: gonna keep it real now. I don't keep it real.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I wanna go keep it dreamy. I want to go
- 7:50Speaker 1: keep it fantasize it. I want I wanna I want
- 7:53Speaker 1: to keep it out of this world. I want to
- 7:54Speaker 1: keep it off the chain. I want to keep it moving.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I want to keep it ball, and I want to
- 7:59Speaker 1: see what that's like. So naw, I ain't gonna forget
- 8:02Speaker 1: why I come from, But you ain't gonna hold me
- 8:04Speaker 1: to that though. See, thoughts become things all day long?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Where's your vision board? Where are the things that you
- 8:14Speaker 1: won't written down? What do you think about the most?
- 8:18Speaker 1: How grateful are you for what all God has done
- 8:22Speaker 1: for you? Where you at with that? See? Here here
- 8:26Speaker 1: another law? If thoughts become things? Uh h h here
- 8:32Speaker 1: come to moment, y'all. If thoughts become things, let me
- 8:37Speaker 1: ask you this. If all you're thinking about is your debt,
- 8:41Speaker 1: If all you're thinking about is what you ain't got,
- 8:44Speaker 1: If all you're thinking about or is old, woe is me?
- 8:48Speaker 1: If all you're thinking about is every time I turn around,
- 8:51Speaker 1: I'm sick. If all you thinking about it's the things
- 8:56Speaker 1: in life that you're lacking. If that's all you're thinking about,
- 9:04Speaker 1: And if thoughts become things, how much debt you think
- 9:09Speaker 1: you're gonna stay in? How much? How much? How much
- 9:12Speaker 1: lacking you thank you feel to feel your life with?
- 9:16Speaker 1: How much most stuff you feel to not have because
- 9:20Speaker 1: you keep thinking about it all the time. When you're
- 9:24Speaker 1: gonna be grateful, when you're gonna say thank you, when
- 9:29Speaker 1: when it's gonna come out your mouth. Man, that I
- 9:32Speaker 1: may not be where I want to be, but I
- 9:34Speaker 1: show am grateful for what you've given me so far,
- 9:38Speaker 1: for the things I have today, because I don't have
- 9:41Speaker 1: to have these things. You know that does? That then
- 9:44Speaker 1: opens up room for more stuff to come your way.
- 9:47Speaker 1: To be grateful fall. But if you're gonna be ungrateful, man,
- 9:51Speaker 1: let me ask you something. I ain't God, I don't
- 9:54Speaker 1: claim to be, But let me ask you something. Man,
- 9:56Speaker 1: If you're ungrateful for the things we've got, if we
- 9:59Speaker 1: can't show no gratitude for what what we have, why
- 10:04Speaker 1: would God give us some most stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 10:07Speaker 1: What would he do that for? Man, I blessed you
- 10:10Speaker 1: with that. You ain't like that I gave you this.
- 10:12Speaker 1: You ain't saying nothing to me about that. You you
- 10:15Speaker 1: ain't feeling me on this right here. So I'll tell
- 10:18Speaker 1: you what. Man, Let me stop giving this dude something
- 10:20Speaker 1: because he just over here, he ain't glad for nothing.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Because if I give him some more. He gonna be
- 10:25Speaker 1: mad about that too, Tad. Anybody feel me right now?
- 10:31Speaker 1: So when I say come on, y'all, dig me, now,
- 10:33Speaker 1: do you understand why I say dig me? Because I
- 10:36Speaker 1: want you to feel me. I want you to understand
- 10:38Speaker 1: and come to the understanding, not saying you ain't. Because
- 10:40Speaker 1: there's so many people got a deeper understanding than me
- 10:42Speaker 1: about this whole thing. I promise you they do, but
- 10:45Speaker 1: they listen to me. I'm just trying to get you
- 10:48Speaker 1: to walk up in this light, man, so you can
- 10:49Speaker 1: go on with your life and quit tripping yourself out
- 10:52Speaker 1: with your thoughts because thoughts become things, all right, All
- 10:55Speaker 1: days you're listening show, ladies and gentlemen, The Steve Harvey
- 11:02Speaker 1: Morning Show today will be dedicated to ignorance due to

- 12:40Speaker 1: come on, but somebody got to do it, so might

- 13:38Speaker 1: days and they're trying to get the grail, the cup
- 13:42Speaker 1: that Jesus drake out of at the Last Supper. I
- 13:47Speaker 1: ain't even know that ain't what that's about. It's a
- 13:52Speaker 1: whole lot of killing trying to get to Jesus cup. Yeah,
- 13:58Speaker 1: but I watched that over the weekend, you know, bench watching.
- 14:02Speaker 1: But maybe man, because it wasn't but one season. And
- 14:05Speaker 1: when lady got killed, I'm saying, I said, all right, man,

- 14:29Speaker 1: tell what we had to do. We voted, you know,
- 14:32Speaker 1: we all Yeah, that's what that's what you can do.
- 14:36Speaker 1: All right, Well, coming up, we'll have more of the
- 14:38Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this at thirty two
- 14:42Speaker 1: after you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Day
- 14:46Speaker 1: two of Jerry Selection and the trial of Wakin El
- 14:49Speaker 1: Chopo goose Man brought an unexpected surprise. While jurors are
- 14:54Speaker 1: usually excused for their opinions or their life circumstances, the
- 14:58Speaker 1: potential was excuse by the judge after requesting El Chapo's autograph. Okay,
- 15:06Speaker 1: the potential juror a dog cartail dope book, Let me
- 15:10Speaker 1: get that autograph. Can we get a selfie? Was not
- 15:17Speaker 1: you will sell us some dope. Let me go get
- 15:23Speaker 1: a selfie. My mom loves hey dog chop. How much?
- 15:28Speaker 1: How much you think you made? Man? While the juror
- 15:37Speaker 1: was not identified, it has been revealed that he was
- 15:40Speaker 1: born in Colombia but has been living in New York
- 15:43Speaker 1: for the past twenty years now. According to report Steve,
- 15:46Speaker 1: the man also revealed that he liked TV crime dramas
- 15:49Speaker 1: and insisted it wouldn't affect his judgment going forward. Really
- 15:54Speaker 1: yeah right, but but but then been he asked a
- 16:01Speaker 1: court security officer for El Chappo's autograph. When asked by
- 16:05Speaker 1: the judge, the man reportedly owned up and noted, I'm
- 16:08Speaker 1: a bit of a fan. You put me on the
- 16:13Speaker 1: jersey free. I'm telling you that a brother worked for him. Yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 1: needless to say. I think. At this point, defense attorneys
- 16:22Speaker 1: wanted him to stay, prosecutors wanted him absolutely gone, and
- 16:27Speaker 1: he was ultimately excused. Uh. El Choppo is on trial
- 16:32Speaker 1: in Manhattan for drug conspiracy and money laundering. Prosecutors and
- 16:36Speaker 1: defense lawyers are looking to see how long has he
- 16:46Speaker 1: been in jail over here? Yes, I don't know the
- 16:52Speaker 1: exact number, but some years, yeah, a couple of years. Yeah,
- 16:58Speaker 1: Hell yeah. They'll netflix which were which were outstanding? Loosely
- 17:03Speaker 1: based on his life. That's how I know who we're
- 17:07Speaker 1: talking about. I know more about him than all y'all. Yeah,
- 17:13Speaker 1: he he was something else. Prosecutors defense attorneys are looking
- 17:17Speaker 1: to see twelve New Yorkers who can afford to take
- 17:20Speaker 1: four months off work and aren't afraid to sit in
- 17:22Speaker 1: judgment of a man accused of ordering hits on at
- 17:25Speaker 1: least thirty people who got in his way. I do
- 17:28Speaker 1: it if they if they paid me the same money, Well,
- 17:31Speaker 1: we're gonna pay you forty dollars a day at going
- 17:34Speaker 1: down there for that? What you telling about? Wouldn't learn?
- 17:37Speaker 1: Tell you did your something for a fart at all? Hello?
- 17:41Speaker 1: You ever been on a jury? Still? No? I was
- 17:44Speaker 1: just got called one time. My answers They called my
- 17:48Speaker 1: number in the first round. You were excused? Did you
- 17:52Speaker 1: ask a long time ago? They asked me all kind
- 17:55Speaker 1: of stuff. I didn't care nothing, only why I'm down hire.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I could care that's what he did. Hell, oh it was.
- 18:03Speaker 1: It was a give us a black dude anyway. So
- 18:06Speaker 1: they said, are you racially biased? I said, what did
- 18:09Speaker 1: that mean? M do you do you have or project
- 18:14Speaker 1: any racial bias? Do you mean do I love black people? Well?
- 18:19Speaker 1: Do you with your sir? And then he said do
- 18:24Speaker 1: you feel the same way about other races? I said
- 18:27Speaker 1: some of them? And just what I meant was I
- 18:32Speaker 1: like some of the people in each race, because you know,
- 18:36Speaker 1: I got friends all around the globe, so I like friends.
- 18:39Speaker 1: And that's what I said. There he's gonna talk about. No,
- 18:41Speaker 1: how can you just not like an entire race of people?
- 18:45Speaker 1: I said, that ain't what I said. That hum oh,
- 18:49Speaker 1: he said how could you? I said, hey, man, that
- 18:50Speaker 1: ain't what I said. Well, we want him excuse your
- 18:57Speaker 1: numb cleaning these carpets. I'm doing five room for fifty
- 19:04Speaker 1: nine special cleaning up what I was in that by myself? Stupid?
- 19:14Speaker 1: What hey? Hey, hey, yeah, I'm so proud of you guys,
- 19:32Speaker 1: you hard bud racing. Um you're gonna him again to yeah, yeah, President,
- 19:45Speaker 1: they don't you think so? I think yeah, I think so.
- 19:48Speaker 1: But Carly, you were saying his wife asked him not to.
- 19:51Speaker 1: That's what they were talking about in Textas. That's why
- 19:53Speaker 1: he said before that he wasn't running because he has
- 19:55Speaker 1: very young children as well, and so he was concerned.
- 19:59Speaker 1: His wife was con learned. So but you know, he
- 20:01Speaker 1: may change his mind after the mid term elections because
- 20:05Speaker 1: he did some things a Democrat wasn't able to do
- 20:07Speaker 1: in the state of Texas, right, and he achieved national attention,
- 20:12Speaker 1: you know, national you know, it's what's what's what all
- 20:18Speaker 1: of these people that we were really really pushing for.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I don't I don't want to views to get discouraged
- 20:24Speaker 1: about your vote because it did. Uh. And I'm not
- 20:28Speaker 1: so sure it's because we didn't go to the polls,
- 20:30Speaker 1: because I really think we did. We showed up. I
- 20:34Speaker 1: think her numbers are and his numbers are very very
- 20:36Speaker 1: reflective of that because it was so close. The part
- 20:41Speaker 1: that's troubling me about this election is how many people
- 20:46Speaker 1: voted the other way. I mean that that just throws
- 20:51Speaker 1: me off. Man. It's like, I do not understand, man.
- 20:56Speaker 1: We we can't put profit over people, you know, because
- 21:01Speaker 1: the economy is better, human rights are still more important
- 21:05Speaker 1: than the economy. Because if you continue to violate human rights.
- 21:09Speaker 1: You won't. You won't have an economy because when people
- 21:12Speaker 1: that's in constant violation, they're gonna raise up. I'm just
- 21:17Speaker 1: disturbed with the number of people that vote the other way,
- 21:20Speaker 1: and I mean with such subtlety and such aggressiveness. They
- 21:27Speaker 1: get down at the vote, man, and they don't care
- 21:30Speaker 1: if the policies are bit towards them are not. This
- 21:35Speaker 1: stuff is for rich people that tax cut y'all. Guy
- 21:38Speaker 1: with nothing, man, they got their hats on their shirts on. Yeah,
- 21:45Speaker 1: all right, coming up, nephew Tommy here would run that
- 21:48Speaker 1: prank back? Coming up right after this. You're listening to
- 21:52Speaker 1: the show. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 21:56Speaker 1: we'll do some entertainment news. But right now it is
- 21:59Speaker 1: time for the nephew to jump in here with run
- 22:01Speaker 1: that prank back. What you got now, let's run it back? Then.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Can I have your kidney? I mean you got to
- 22:07Speaker 1: I'm only one loan man, I did back to you.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Let me hold the kidney right quick, on me a
- 22:16Speaker 1: kid until I get on my feet. That's all I'm saying.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I can loan you lock your business. You're not getting kidney.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Can I have your kids? Hello? Hello, I'm trying to
- 22:35Speaker 1: reach a brother, Conny. This is kind of how you doing, brother?
- 22:39Speaker 1: This is Deacon Patterson called him from the church. How
- 22:41Speaker 1: you doing today, Patterson? Yeah, you're doing fun and your self.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I'm sure I'm doing good, doing good. You know the
- 22:48Speaker 1: church is behind you on what you're going through. When

- 24:28Speaker 1: we asked that you make sure that the doctor it's
- 24:32Speaker 1: got a strong eye on that morning with him. We
- 24:36Speaker 1: asked that that that he got a steady hand when
- 24:39Speaker 1: he got the scalpel in his hand. We asked that

- 34:10Speaker 1: you're probably just waking up. But in light of uh
- 34:13Speaker 1: this horrific chain of events that such curt we have
- 34:18Speaker 1: another public shooting. Uh this is getting out of hand.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Uh look you know what, y'all in light of everything
- 34:26Speaker 1: that's going on, you know, we try to keep your breast,
- 34:28Speaker 1: but the best way to do it is really to
- 34:30Speaker 1: give you the facts. And here with the facts and
- 34:32Speaker 1: bring us all up to speed. Is our very own
- 34:35Speaker 1: miss and thank you very much, Steven. Good morning everybody,
- 34:39Speaker 1: And yes it's happened again. There's been another mass shooting
- 34:42Speaker 1: in this country at this time in a place called
- 34:45Speaker 1: Thousand Oaks, California. Thousand Oaks, California, which is about forty
- 34:49Speaker 1: miles west of downtown l A. Authorities say that a
- 34:54Speaker 1: man entered the bar that with that bar was having
- 34:57Speaker 1: a country college night. Now there was a lot out
- 35:00Speaker 1: of line dancing and stuff going on, and started shooting.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Here's Mayor pro tempt, Rob McCoy. Anyway, Rob McCoy says
- 35:07Speaker 1: that there have been at least thirteen fatalities. They were
- 35:10Speaker 1: saying eleven at one point, um, and then they say
- 35:13Speaker 1: now thirteen and that includes the shooter who was unidentified
- 35:17Speaker 1: at this point. But nevertheless it's a fatality. And again
- 35:20Speaker 1: the man just came in the bar and started shooting
- 35:22Speaker 1: during college night. Of course, people are just really out there,
- 35:26Speaker 1: just the young people are so distraught, so frightened, they
- 35:29Speaker 1: call their parents. They're on the scene this again this
- 35:32Speaker 1: morning at the California time, at about eleven pm California time,
- 35:36Speaker 1: and that's when it happened. A man unidentified at this
- 35:39Speaker 1: point still enters the bar in Thousand Oaks at California,
- 35:43Speaker 1: about forty miles west of downtown l A. Starts shooting,
- 35:46Speaker 1: and in the end at least thirteen people, including the
- 35:48Speaker 1: shooter and one sheriff's deputy, are dead. We'll stay on
- 35:51Speaker 1: top of this for you and we'll get back as
- 35:52Speaker 1: soon as it changes. Unfortunately, again another mass shooting. It's
- 35:56Speaker 1: finally happened. In the wake of the Republicans losing control
- 35:58Speaker 1: of the House, Donald Trump asked for and received Attorney
- 36:01Speaker 1: General Jeff sessions Is resignation yesterday and says, well your five.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Sessions has been on the receiving end of publicly leveled
- 36:08Speaker 1: personal attacks from the President ever since he recused himself
- 36:12Speaker 1: from the Mueller investigation into alleged Russian medaling in the election.
- 36:17Speaker 1: As Attorney General, Sessions would have been in charge of
- 36:19Speaker 1: the probe and could have limited its scope or ended
- 36:22Speaker 1: it at any time. However, under the law, Sessions had
- 36:25Speaker 1: to remove himself from the investigation because he actually worked
- 36:28Speaker 1: in Trump's campaign. By the way, for Sessions, this is
- 36:32Speaker 1: kind of a case to be careful what you wished for,
- 36:33Speaker 1: because uh, you might get it. Because the former Alabama
- 36:36Speaker 1: legislator was one of Trump's earliest supporters in the Congress,
- 36:40Speaker 1: and he worked on his campaign. And you may remember
- 36:43Speaker 1: that the elite corette Scott King, wrote a letter urging
- 36:46Speaker 1: Congress back in block Sessions and nomination to a federal
- 36:50Speaker 1: judge it because of his quote shabby attempt to intimidate
- 36:53Speaker 1: and frighten elderly black voters. She said that guy does
- 36:56Speaker 1: not deserve a federal appointment. A news conference the President
- 37:00Speaker 1: had yesterday did to spend things saying that he had
- 37:03Speaker 1: victories because Republicans picked us some seats in the Senate.
- 37:06Speaker 1: He twisted things around. Of course, you know he's good
- 37:07Speaker 1: at that. Insisting Democrats gaining control the House was also
- 37:10Speaker 1: good for him. His Nancy Pelosi. It's not about Democrats Republicans,
- 37:14Speaker 1: It's about the United States of America. That's about the
- 37:17Speaker 1: country that Ronald Reagan talked about that he loved. The
- 37:20Speaker 1: president said he loved that we all love we have
- 37:23Speaker 1: responsibility to our then and went in a uniform the
- 37:26Speaker 1: sacrifices day and their families have made over town to
- 37:29Speaker 1: keep us the land of the free and the home
- 37:30Speaker 1: of the brave. And we have a major responsibility to
- 37:33Speaker 1: our children and their future because elections are all about
- 37:37Speaker 1: the future. And Pelosi says she does want to work
- 37:40Speaker 1: with the Republicans on legislation. She's already told that and
- 37:43Speaker 1: broach that subject with them. Here's up Steve Harvey Nation,
- 37:45Speaker 1: find out of Uncle Steve Smarter than his nephew. Will
- 37:47Speaker 1: be back twenty minutes after the hour on the Steve
- 37:49Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show today. Uh, we
- 37:55Speaker 1: sit here and we're in shock again as a nation,
- 37:59Speaker 1: having to do ill with all that's going on in
- 38:03Speaker 1: our world today. And another tragic event has occurred, unexplainable
- 38:08Speaker 1: senseless act of violence. Uh makes no sense, there's no
- 38:12Speaker 1: purpose at all, and Uh all we are left to
- 38:16Speaker 1: wonder how we could solve this problem. But I'll tell
- 38:19Speaker 1: you one thing. We gotta get involved and start figuring
- 38:22Speaker 1: out the solution to this problem. Instead of saying something
- 38:25Speaker 1: gotta be done. We have got to amend the way
- 38:29Speaker 1: people purchase firearms in this country, and we have got
- 38:33Speaker 1: to take steps to reclaim the safety of this country.
- 38:38Speaker 1: We gotta do something. How many before we do something?
- 38:44Speaker 1: Because right now, man reacting to it ain't enough. It's
- 38:47Speaker 1: too late. I mean, hats off to the first responders
- 38:50Speaker 1: and everything. I'm not talking about that type of reaction.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I'm talking about what we gotta keep going through before
- 38:56Speaker 1: somebody passing some bills and say, hey man, we're gonna
- 38:59Speaker 1: slow is way down. Oh damn. Problem is the Second
- 39:04Speaker 1: Amendment that needs amending? Can we America? I don't understand
- 39:10Speaker 1: how we keep doing this? Uh, you know what's just
- 39:14Speaker 1: some troubling times. And just to be honest with you,
- 39:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna let miss and just go into it today.
- 39:18Speaker 1: These are the news facts with miss Anne. Thank you
- 39:21Speaker 1: very much, Steven. Good morning everybody, And yes it's happened again.
- 39:24Speaker 1: There's been another mass shooting in this country, this time
- 39:28Speaker 1: in a place called Thousand Oaks, California. Thousand Oaks, California,
- 39:32Speaker 1: which is about forty miles west of downtown l A.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Authorities say that a man entered the bar that with
- 39:39Speaker 1: that bar was having a country college night. Now, there
- 39:43Speaker 1: was a lot of line dancing and stuff going on
- 39:45Speaker 1: and started shooting. Mayor pro Tem Rob McCoy says that

- 39:54Speaker 1: thirteen and that includes the shooter who was unidentified at
- 39:58Speaker 1: this point. But nevertheless it's a fatality on again. The
- 40:01Speaker 1: man just came in the bar and started shooting during
- 40:04Speaker 1: college night. Of course, people are just really out there,
- 40:07Speaker 1: just the young people are so distraught, so frightened, they
- 40:10Speaker 1: call their parents. Are on the scene this again this
- 40:13Speaker 1: morning at the California time, at about eleven pm California time,
- 40:17Speaker 1: and that's when it happened. A man unidentified at this
- 40:20Speaker 1: point still enter the bar in Thousand Oaks of California,
- 40:24Speaker 1: about forty miles west of downtown l A, starts a
- 40:26Speaker 1: shooting and in the end at least thirteen people, including
- 40:29Speaker 1: the shooter and one sheriff's deputy, are dead. We'll stay
- 40:32Speaker 1: on top of this for you and we'll get back
- 40:33Speaker 1: as soon as it changes. Unfortunately, again another mass shooting.
- 40:37Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Show. All right, Steve, it

- 55:34Speaker 1: I have a problem, and I've been praying over it
- 55:37Speaker 1: for years, but I can't seem to get over it.
- 55:39Speaker 1: I married a man when I was twenty six years
- 55:42Speaker 1: old and he was forty one years old. We had
- 55:44Speaker 1: a great married life, a nice, big home, and three
- 55:48Speaker 1: lovely children. I thought our fairy tale would never end,
- 55:52Speaker 1: but it did. We were married for eight years, and
- 55:55Speaker 1: on his birthday, he asked me for a divorce and
- 55:59Speaker 1: served me pay first. I was shocked that he already
- 56:02Speaker 1: had the papers drawn up. Six months after our divorce
- 56:06Speaker 1: was final, my sister gave birth to a healthy, beautiful
- 56:10Speaker 1: baby girl. When I saw the baby, I noticed that
- 56:13Speaker 1: the baby had the same birthmark on her foot that
- 56:17Speaker 1: all three of my children do. Two months later, my
- 56:20Speaker 1: sister married my ex husband. At the wedding, only two
- 56:26Speaker 1: of our family members attended. My mother didn't even go. Wait,
- 56:32Speaker 1: wait what okay at the web? Okay, where do you
- 56:35Speaker 1: want me to start? Uh? Two months? This is crazy, Steve,
- 56:41Speaker 1: this is so crazy. All right, I'll start here. We
- 56:46Speaker 1: were married, they had We were married for eight years,
- 56:48Speaker 1: and on his birthday he asked me for a divorce
- 56:51Speaker 1: and served me papers. I was shocked that he already
- 56:55Speaker 1: had the papers drawn up. Six months after our divorce
- 56:58Speaker 1: was final, my sister a birth to a beautiful baby girl.
- 57:02Speaker 1: When I saw the baby, I noticed that the baby
- 57:05Speaker 1: had the same birthmark on her foot that all three
- 57:09Speaker 1: of my children do. Two months later, my sister married
- 57:13Speaker 1: my ex husbanded. At the wedding, only two of our
- 57:18Speaker 1: family members attended. My mother didn't even go. It has
- 57:22Speaker 1: now been five years, and I've heard my sister has
- 57:25Speaker 1: three has had three more kids. I haven't seen my
- 57:28Speaker 1: ex husband or my sister and many years, but my
- 57:32Speaker 1: children have. Oh and yes, I have driven by her
- 57:35Speaker 1: house several times only to see that my ex husband
- 57:38Speaker 1: has built her a huge new house. I guess she's
- 57:41Speaker 1: happy now that she has everything. I had. Why can't
- 57:44Speaker 1: I get over this? Why do I feel like a
- 57:47Speaker 1: minute I see my sister, I'm going to punch her
- 57:51Speaker 1: in her face? Why am I so hurt that my
- 57:53Speaker 1: children's father is also my children's uncle. I just don't
- 57:57Speaker 1: know how to get past this? Please help me. Yeah,
- 58:02Speaker 1: this right here, this right here is a hot, stinking mess. Okay.
- 58:07Speaker 1: I just have to tell you you're not wrong, and
- 58:09Speaker 1: how you feel, you're not wrong at all. Anyone who
- 58:12Speaker 1: has gone through what you've gone through would feel the
- 58:15Speaker 1: exact same way in your position. Your emotions are real,
- 58:19Speaker 1: they are valid. Your ex husband is vile, and so
- 58:22Speaker 1: is your sister. Imagine being married to someone for eight
- 58:26Speaker 1: years only to get a divorce uh paper at his birthday,
- 58:31Speaker 1: at his on his birthday, at his birthday party. Of
- 58:34Speaker 1: course you're shocked. Of course you know they've been doing
- 58:37Speaker 1: this behind your back all this time. Six months after
- 58:40Speaker 1: your divorce is final, then your sister gives birth to
- 58:43Speaker 1: a beautiful baby girl. Who does this to their sister,
- 58:45Speaker 1: their own blood? She I mean, stole your husband. Your
- 58:49Speaker 1: husband's sleeping with her behind your bag. This is awful.
- 58:53Speaker 1: At the wedding, I understand if only two of your
- 58:56Speaker 1: family members attended. Um, your mother didn't even go. Um,
- 59:03Speaker 1: so your kids, Let's get this straight. Your kids are
- 59:08Speaker 1: their cousins, their aunt's, uncles and aunts. What what is
- 59:11Speaker 1: this is crazy? Yeah? This is not a good family
- 59:15Speaker 1: reunion at all. Uh. Yeah, I probably would have driven
- 59:19Speaker 1: by our house several times too, too. You know. Yeah,
- 59:22Speaker 1: it's hard to get over something like this. I mean,
- 59:25Speaker 1: I you know, I'm surprised that you even had the
- 59:27Speaker 1: strength to write the letter, and it's a great letter.
- 59:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry you had to go through this. This is
- 59:32Speaker 1: this is awful. Who does this to their sister, to
- 59:35Speaker 1: their wife? This is craziness. Uh, you're hurt because they
- 59:39Speaker 1: hurt you, and you're hurt because of that they hurt you.
- 59:42Speaker 1: This is terrible. You don't know how to get past it.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I don't know how either. I don't know how I would.
- 59:47Speaker 1: And you know, I'm all about love and forgiveness and
- 59:49Speaker 1: all of this, but this right here would be a
- 59:51Speaker 1: real hard one to forgive to get past. H Yeah
- 59:56Speaker 1: what yeah? Yeah, I mean you know this this is
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: really this is just vile and crazy and ugly. Steve.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: All right, I'm sixty one years old. I have been
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: around a long time. I've seen a lot of things.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I've heard a lot of things. This is the first
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: and I'm gonna just start with the end of the letter. Um,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: I don't know how to get past this. Please help me, somebody,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: somebody need to get the ass Hey man, that really
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: I don't even know how to That's the only way
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I could see me coming through this. Yeah, this is
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: this really the only way I see me coming coming
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: through this at all. I mean for me to even
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: begin the healing process, I'm gonna hack them, make several
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: attempts to get at both y'all. The sister in the X.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: You know, he got all his house building money where
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: he can build everybody big housing. I would have been
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: shut that down. What would you have done? Oh, reported
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: him on Facebook. I'd have destroyed him on social media?
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Very similar. I'm just okay, this is not about turned
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: away off to Mike. But we heard you though a mic, Yeah,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: a multidirectional Mikey. Lady, you was married to this man
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: when us twenty six, he was forty one. You had
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: a great married life, big house, three kids, dr fairytale.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: When they married eight years on his birthday, he asked
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: you for a divorce papers. He already had the papers
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: drawn up six months after divorce was final. Your sister
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. You saw the baby.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: The baby got the same damn birthmark on her foot
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: at all three and your kids head. I have started
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: with the baby, baby, get the foot. Okay, I don't
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: know how to. I'm telling you somebody I gotta start paying.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I deal with the rest of them. Come back. I
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: don't know how, all right, Steve, Well, okay, We're gonna
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: give you a moment to calm down, Okay, because this
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: is a crazy letter, and what do you do? Okay,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour. My husband is now my
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: kid's uncle is the subject. We'll be back right after this.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: You're listening to Steven Show. All right, Steve, let's recap today. Nothing.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I'm just going into this. Twenty six years old married man,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: he parted one, had a great man, life, big high,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: three beautiful kids. I thought the fareytale would never end,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: but he did. Married for eight years. On his birthday,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: he asked me for a divorce and served me papers.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: You know why he did it on the birthday because
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you're spending the birthday with your sister. Now, I can't
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: be over here and there at the same time. How
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: could I not be over here? I got it, drompty
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: damn divorce papers that stop all the party atmosphere over
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: here and go over here and had his birthday with
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: your sister. I was shocked. He already had the papers
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: drawn up. Six months later, after our divorce was final,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: my sister gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. When
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I saw the baby girl, the baby had the same
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: birthmark on her foot that all three of my children do.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Now see right here, I started hurting people right there,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: right there, right here. Now, let's just say this right here.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: When I looked down and I see the same birthmark
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: on this beautiful baby girl that so all of your children,
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: somebody got to pay with their foot. I can't be
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: the baby. So that right here I'm gonna start with.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I need a foot from somebody, either my sister or
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: my damn husband, but somebody fit to give up a
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: foot because I got to start hurting people. I meet it,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: I noticed. Two months later, my sister married my ex
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: husband two months after the baby was born. At the wedding,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: two of our family members attended would have been three.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: I had to go because I got started hurting some
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: people at the wind. I'm gonna be in the banket
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: in somewhere with something. That shooting might not be a gun,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: but it's gonna be like a sling shot of pellet
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: right for something. At the wed and only two of
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: my family members attended. Okay, what you two with them?
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Because I asked, ain't speaking? I need the name? Are
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: the two people that took they brought to this wed?
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Called me and you? It's through. My mother didn't even
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: go cause she knew go down there if you want to, Mama.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: It's now been five years and I heard my sister
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: has had three more kids. I'll tell you what they've been.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I had that on their feet. I know that, I know,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know it better I be
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: three more people with some birthmon because now I'm gonna
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: be three more people some problem. Everybody with birthmark on
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: the foot, I takes another foot, so that folk that
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: folk kids right? Three more and folks. So now my
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: sister and my ex husband ain't neither one of them
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: got no more feet. Man, man, I haven't seen my
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: ex husband or my sister in many years. That's impossible.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: What do you mean we ain't seen each other? You
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: know what I mean? Attempts I would have made on that.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: How the hell I'm gonna try to kill you and
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: I ain't seen. You can't get a shot off you
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: ain't seen, so right there, I haven't seen my ex
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: but my children. So the children been going over that
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: visited huh because that's their daddy, Steve, that's their daddy. Huh.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: So they've been over the visitor to their daddy. Uncle. Yeah,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: who's married to your aunt? Who really is your uncle?
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: And your and your daddy? So what uncle, daddy, uncle, daddy? Oh? Yes,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: I've driven by her house several times. Drive back. Now
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: we're talking. I've driven by. You ain't had nothing hanging
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: out the window. Let's do it. You ain't had none.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: You had grenade and you assault rifle? You know. Hell,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: they keep talking about the Second Amendment. You're right, you
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: ain't have assault rifle. Yeah, the cocktail where you lighted
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: like the bottling through only to see that my ex
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: husband has built her a huge new house with what
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Now I got all that, I got all that money,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: I'm child support alimony? Yeah, I guess she's happy now
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: that she has everything I had. How you ain't got
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: it no more? How you how he leaves you with
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: the baby. You ain't got no house, no money, no
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: child support, no alimony. If you have told this story
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: in any court of law, he is still be paying you. Yeah.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Why can't I get over this? Because you ain't hurt nobody?
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: That the problem? The ole? Damn? Why do I feel
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: like the moment I see my sister punching in her face,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: that cat, because that's what you're gonna do. And how
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: do you punch down face? You can start healing this
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: because look, then you can. You have dinker to ask
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: the Lord to forgive you so you can start. I
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: just don't know how to get past this. I'm so
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: hurt that my children's father is also my children's uncle.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I just don't know. You got pray about this for real, lady, seriously,
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: and do not hurt nobody because it ain't worth it.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: You're right, Steve, that part is true. You're right court

- 1:18:09Speaker 1: down to the clinic and get those fund meads medications,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: fun meads. Give me two of those and I raised
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: you four. All right, So, as I said, Real Housewives
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: of Atlanta, we are back Cynthia, portion Nini, Eva, Candy.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: The lists go on and we get to meet a
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: new housewife, Mrs Duval. We haven't met her yet, but
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: we will meet the new housewife. So anyway, Yeah, so
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: the first thing is some sad news. Nini and her
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: husband Greg Leaks has stage three colon cancer. So it's
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: just really really sad, and but Nini is gathering friends
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: and family around Greg and supporting him, and h the
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: ladies on the show are supporting Nini as Greg, you know,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: battle cancer. It's such a horrible, terrible disease and you
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: know grand had to have part of his colon remove.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I mean, he is really really sick. So our prayers
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: and you know, just as a viewer, you know, watching
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Greg over the years to see him down like that,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Benini is right there supporting her husband and so are
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: his sons. And it's um, we just you know, have
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: to prayer of healing for him, and uh keep keep
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Gregg in your prayers. Um. Other news portions dating this guy.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: He's a lantern entrepreneur. He's on the ground with the
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: relationship on the show. His name is Dennis well well
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: well well well well well well yeah, yeah, idiot, but
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: your need is a love complete idiots to take. They
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: just want to say you can't pass up a good boy.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: All they are always remember hown, I'm sorry, we just
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: saying we love your baby. What's up? Bit of stuff?
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: You just can't say. You got to give my name.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: We're gonna take it didn't look to take. He's sorry,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: So I let go on girl. So Porsche's doing her thing,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: and they all went to Miami to surprise Nini to
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: support Nini and her comedy show. So the girls have
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: had it there to surprise her and support her because
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: you know she's going through a really tough time. Cynthia
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: Bailey has a new boom and his name is Mike,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Mike Hill. He's a sports analyst. He works with Fox Sports.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: And Cynthia said on the show that Steve Harvey looked
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: them hooked her up with her new boom. Cool shout
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: out Steve, that was real, real cool. So Cynthia has
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: a new man. Porsche has a new man, and you
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: know they haven't revealed this on the show, but we
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: all know Porsche is expecting and she's pregnant, so we'll
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: keep an eye out on that. And Candy Burris, did
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: you see she won a big award with her group
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: from the nineties. Well, they won this big like ask
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Apple War. She doesn't talk like that girl. Candy love Candy.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: But did you see where Riley sa Candy with her
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: and her husband. They were all talking about growing the
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: family and having another baby. Riley was not trying to
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: hear that, but Porscha and Candy all them were talking.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: But Candy recently said and US Weekly that she may
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: get a surrogant, so she may still grow her family
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: because she's in her forties. So I don't think she
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: wants to carry the baby, but she is looking to
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: the possibility of seregacy, so we'll keep an eye on that.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: And did you guys get a chance to see Married
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: to Medicine though my wife watched that? Uhh. I love
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: the show. Love the show with the doctors and their wives,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: and some of the doctors on the show they are
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: female physicians and their husbands. So quickly they went on
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: an anniversary trip Toya and her husband Dr. Eugene and
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: they went to Antigua. Things got a little heated. Quad
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: was trying to explain what was going on with her
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: divorce from her husband, Dr. Greg and Heavenly is very
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: protective of Quad and her and Mariah. They got into
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: it and shot. Did you see when Mariah broke the
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: glass on the side of the table like she was
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: about to shank penitentiary move It ain't like a dollar,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: look like a doctor who can make a Shank Chris,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: car that was that was pretty u Yeah, she's about

- 1:27:34Speaker 1: Tim p M Eastern nine Central on on Ready to
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: Love hosted by your What's truly all right? We'll be
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: right back right after this you're listening to show. Today
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: we sit here and we're in shock again as a nation,
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: having to deal with all that's gone on in our
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: world today, and another tragic event has occurred, unexplainable, senseless
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: act of violence, makes no sense, serves no purpose at all,
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: and uh all we are left to wonder how we
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: could solve this problem. But I'll tell you one thing.
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: We gotta get involved and start figuring out the solution
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: to this problem instead of saying something gotta be done.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: We have got to amend the way people purchase firearms
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: in this country, and we have got to take steps
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: to reclaim the safety of this country. We gotta do something.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: How many before we do something? Because right now, man
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: reacting to it ain't enough. It's too late. I mean,
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: hats off to the first responders and everything. I'm not
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: talking about that type of reaction. I'm talking about what
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: we gotta keep going through before somebody passing some bills
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: and say, hey man, we're gonna slow this way down.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: Our damn problem is the Second Amendment that needs amending
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: because we America, How I don't understand how we keep
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: doing this. Hold on, man, See, we're so free, we
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: we're so free. We're stupid. We're stupid free. We won
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: country that we really need to pull back on some
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: of the freedoms. Because if you're telling me, if you're
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: telling me, you're trying to tell me that these brave
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: women and women that are over here fighting for our
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: freedom is the freedom that you ask can walk in
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: the gun and turn around and turn it on a
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: bunch of people. That's what they over there phone, Because
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: I think they'd all come home if you told them
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: that's what they was over the phone. You see what
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: I'm saying this This second Amendment needs a JUSTI Yeah
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: it does. Hey, folks, listen, we got a special news
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: update with MS and thank you very much. Steven. Good
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: morning everybody, and yes it's happened again. There's been another
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: mass shooting in this country, this time in a place
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: called Thousand Oaks, California. Thousand Oaks, California, which is about
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: forty miles well of downtown l A. Authorities say that
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: a man entered a bar that with that bar was
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: having a country college night and there was a lot
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: of line dancing and stuff going on and started shooting.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: Mayor pro Tem Rob McCoy says that there have been
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: at least thirteen fatalities. They were saying eleven at one point,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: um and then they say now thirteen and that includes
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: the shooter who was unidentified at this point. But nevertheless
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: it's a fatality. And again the man just came in
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: the bar and started shooting during college night. Of course,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: people are just really out there, just the young people
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: are so distrought, so frightened, they called their parents. They're
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: on the scene this again this morning at the California time,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: at about eleven pm California time, and that's when it happened.
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: A man unidentified at this point still enters the bar
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: in Thousand Oaks at California, about forty miles west of
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: downtown l A. Starts at shooting and in the end
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: at least thirteen people, including the shooter and one sheriff's deputy,
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: are dead. We'll stay on top of this for you
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: and we'll get back too soon. Is it changes, unfortunately
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: again another mass shooting. You're listening here, we are last
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: break of the day, Steve Harvey, you're closing remarks. What
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: do you have for us today, just some more encouragement.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: I want to try to give you a mindset, and
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: you can pick and choose whichever you like, but I
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: want to try to give you a mindset to succeed with.
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: I want I want you all to start thinking about
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: your goals, your visions, and your dreams, and I want
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: you to think of them like their long overdue. Have
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: you wanted something for so long that you think that
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: is long overdue? Have you ever dreamt of something so
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: many times and it's yet to happen that you kind
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: of feel like it's long overdue. I want you to
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: take that feeling that it is long overdue, and I
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: want you to internalize that feeling because what I want
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: you to do is I want you to take that
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: feeling and I want you to use it as your
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: motivation to pursue your dreams and goals. Because some of
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: you are right, it's long overdue. Now. Some of you
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: may feel that way because you're just impatient, but however
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: you want to look at it. I want you to
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: take that long overdue feeling and I want you to
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: use it as your motivation to spur you to get
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: at it. Take that long overdue feeling and start looking
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: at your life in terms of you know what, now's
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: the time. Now is the time. There is no better
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: time than now. Don't worry about getting all your ducks
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: lined up in the road, because they don't line up.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: Don't wait till the perfect time, because there is no
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: such a time. You got to remember that there's a
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: force out there that don't want you to succeed. His job,
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: the devil's job, is to throw blocks in your path,
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: to throw temptation in your path, to test you all
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: along the way. All God needs us to do is
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: past these tests. You're not gonna pass all of them,
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: but he wants your best effort. But you've got to
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: act like now's the time. You've got to develop a
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: sense of urgency. This thing that's long overdue, this thing
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: that's long overdue, the time for it to start happening
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: is now, and I have to develop and you have
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: to develop a sense of urgency to get it done.
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: It's this sense of urgency that spurs you, It springs
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: you into action. See the hospital is filled with rooms
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: of care and all like this, but you've got different divisions.
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: Now if you in uh I see you intensive care unit,
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: it's intensive care. They in there watching you all the time.
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: They got you monitored regularly, you hooked up to machines.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: It's down there at the nursing station. You and I
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: see you. They got the emergency room that's set up
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: for people who are stuffed and popped off unexpectedly and
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: you need some care right away. Now, the fact that
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: you got to sit there and wait on your right
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: away all this time. It's still the emergency room. But
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: you want to approach your life with a sense of urgence.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: You don't have to sit there and get put on
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: hold like they do at the hospital. Feel out the paperwork.
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: You got developed a sense of urgency, because if it's
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: long overdue and now is the time, you might as
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: well develop a sense of urgency. Your success, your dreams,
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: have visits and visions of happening and a current have
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: to be critical. They have to be critical. It's gotta
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: be critical. You have to perform in your life like
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: you are in a state of being critical. This is critical.
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: It's critical, y'all that you become successful. It's critical. It's
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: tied to your happiness, your success, your well being. It's critical.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: This ain't something man that we can casually deal with.
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: It has to be critical to you. You have to
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: have it in your mind that being happy and being
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: successful is something that you can't live without. Why not?
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: Do you know how many negative things people feel is
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: overdue that they have a sense of urgency junkies addicts,
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: this is a sense of urgency for that and it's
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: a negative thing. I got to get high, I got
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: to get my fixed. Do you know that people developed
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: sense of urgencies and and and and and and and
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: and and things being critical over so many negative things.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: I gotta get down there a happy hour. I gotta
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: get more likes on my page. I gotta do something
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: that I don't really feel comfortable doing because I gotta
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: get more likes. I gotta show some part to my body.
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: I really don't want to show, but I'm trying to
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: get some likes. I'm trying to get my followers up.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: Do you know how many people are feeling critical about that?
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: How many people are approaching that negativity with a sense
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: of urgency that they can't live without. Well, let me
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: explain something to you. You should feel that way about
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: your success, and you should feel that way about your happiness.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: That is critical. Man it's overdue. Now's the time. You
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: have to have a sense of urgency. Your happiness and
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: success is critical to your well being. You had not
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: Leo without it. That's the mindset you have to have
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: towards your success. If you don't, you're not gonna be successful.
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: I'm sorry I had to tell you that, but you
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: won't be successful. People feel that way. It's critical. Get
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: critical about your happiness and about your success and get
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: it done. Y'all have a great reek, alright, Steve, you too?
