- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out, you think, huh huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:04Speaker 2: morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:08Speaker 2: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, okay,
- 2:19Speaker 2: here's what I want to share with you. Stop complaining,
- 2:29Speaker 2: so I had to leg it. You see how I
- 2:30Speaker 2: let that one sit for a second. Stop complaining? Do
- 2:38Speaker 2: you realize without us even thinking about it, oftentimes we
- 2:45Speaker 2: just complain about stuff and it comes up in such
- 2:51Speaker 2: subtle forms. Man, I don't know why they're still letting
- 2:56Speaker 2: that lady work there. Man, if they don't fire this woman, man,
- 2:58Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm gonna do. She me crazy.
- 3:02Speaker 2: She always got something to say. I bet today though,
- 3:09Speaker 2: the way I'm feeling right now, I bet she better
- 3:11Speaker 2: not say nothing to me today. Mm hmm, yeah, yeah,
- 3:17Speaker 2: because day it today it I'm sick of her running
- 3:21Speaker 2: in her mouth. Last time she said something to me,
- 3:24Speaker 2: I should have said something to it. You know what
- 3:26Speaker 2: I'm saying. I'm just giving you a small example of
- 3:30Speaker 2: how it starts to snowball. Once you start to complain,
- 3:37Speaker 2: it just carries over into so many things. Man, Stop
- 3:41Speaker 2: complaining about your car, Stop complaining about your bus pass,
- 3:45Speaker 2: Stop complaining about your kids can't seem to get it together.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Stop complaining about your man can't seem to get it together.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Stop complaining. Stop Have you noticed? I'm just asking, have
- 3:59Speaker 2: you noticed that in all of your complaining, it has
- 4:04Speaker 2: provided not one solution. The reason I'm telling you to
- 4:10Speaker 2: stop complaining because God is able, Because God is capable.
- 4:18Speaker 2: He is capable and able of fixing anything, capable and
- 4:25Speaker 2: able of curing anything, capable and able of allowing you
- 4:32Speaker 2: to get to adjusting to things, and capable and able
- 4:40Speaker 2: to strengthen you to get through and change anything. But
- 4:47Speaker 2: the key here is God is capable, and God is able.
- 4:52Speaker 2: A lot of times I find myself complaining because I
- 4:56Speaker 2: have not used my greatest asset, and that's my relationship
- 5:01Speaker 2: with God. You all have one now. You may not
- 5:04Speaker 2: have nurtured it, but you have one because God created
- 5:07Speaker 2: you as his child. He's available to you. Now. The
- 5:11Speaker 2: fact that you ain't went to him. Okay, once again,
- 5:14Speaker 2: who fought as that? Stop complaining until you strengthen your
- 5:21Speaker 2: relationship with God and formulate this relationship. You don't have
- 5:27Speaker 2: enough weapons. You ain't got a big enough shield to
- 5:33Speaker 2: fight this thing called life. He just keeps coming. Man,
- 5:37Speaker 2: And unless you develop a relationship with God, you need
- 5:40Speaker 2: a partner in all of this. Maybe you got another
- 5:43Speaker 2: route you're gonna take. But every successful person I know
- 5:50Speaker 2: personally has a relationship with God. I have some really
- 5:58Speaker 2: really some people that's kind of up there in the
- 6:02Speaker 2: success term in terms of business and money and statute.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I'm just talking about that portion of success. And then
- 6:09Speaker 2: I have a lot of people who are very successful
- 6:13Speaker 2: in their spiritual life, who have become great men of
- 6:16Speaker 2: God and women of God. But look at all of them,
- 6:21Speaker 2: and all of them have substantial amounts of you know,
- 6:27Speaker 2: possessions and things like that. Also, most successful people I
- 6:31Speaker 2: know have that even if you saw them never with
- 6:36Speaker 2: a big lot of house and a lot of money
- 6:38Speaker 2: or stuff like that, they had so much respect, so
- 6:42Speaker 2: much love, so much power was given them from people
- 6:50Speaker 2: that their life was rich in that area, you know,
- 6:54Speaker 2: like Ahma and Luther King or something like that, or
- 6:57Speaker 2: Gandhi or somebody who lived their life in searchers or
- 7:00Speaker 2: a Nelson Mandela who came out and just man, people
- 7:03Speaker 2: put stuff at their feet because of their service. So
- 7:06Speaker 2: all successful people I know have that, Every last one
- 7:09Speaker 2: of these people that I know, they have relationship with God.
- 7:15Speaker 2: They use the tool that was available to them to
- 7:18Speaker 2: give them the strength, the bullets, the arrows, the slings,
- 7:23Speaker 2: the shield to fight this thing called life and have
- 7:26Speaker 2: the most valuable partner right there by the side. They
- 7:29Speaker 2: heavily father God because he will help you get through
- 7:31Speaker 2: this thing called life. Man, stop complaining all the time.
- 7:34Speaker 2: It's not fixing anything. Why don't you do yourself a
- 7:38Speaker 2: favor and strengthen your relationship with God? Man? Why can
- 7:41Speaker 2: I never get over? Well you have not because you
- 7:44Speaker 2: asked not. Man, how come I always got problems? Well,
- 7:47Speaker 2: you keep trying to solve them yourself and taking them
- 7:50Speaker 2: to your friends. You keep trying to do them with
- 7:52Speaker 2: your own thought process. Who are you? I keep telling you, Man?
- 7:56Speaker 2: You going through stuff you ain't got no business going through.
- 8:01Speaker 2: And if it's you going through something over and over
- 8:04Speaker 2: and over and over, and the same problem keep coming
- 8:06Speaker 2: back to bite you again. All that's saying is you
- 8:10Speaker 2: still ain't strengthen your relationship with God. It's your relationship.
- 8:14Speaker 2: He's not gonna make you have one with him. He
- 8:17Speaker 2: is a perfect gentleman. He only comes into your life
- 8:20Speaker 2: when you invite a men. But for those who do
- 8:25Speaker 2: invite men, they have a distinct advantage on their road
- 8:29Speaker 2: to success, a distinct advantage. You can do it without him,
- 8:35Speaker 2: trust me, you can. How far you get. I can't
- 8:37Speaker 2: promise you nothing, how well you handle it when you
- 8:41Speaker 2: arrived there, I can't promise you nothing. How long you
- 8:44Speaker 2: gonna stay there, I can't promise you nothing. How difficult
- 8:49Speaker 2: it is going to be without him. I can't give
- 8:52Speaker 2: you that. It's going to be far more difficult. But
- 8:55Speaker 2: you can. Something can happen, and you, you know, receive
- 8:58Speaker 2: a measure of success. And think is you and this
- 9:01Speaker 2: move you made, And you can describe it as I
- 9:03Speaker 2: got lucky. I happened to be in the right place
- 9:06Speaker 2: at the right time. I got lucky. Lucky is usually
- 9:11Speaker 2: how other people describe other people's success. Boy, he was lucky,
- 9:15Speaker 2: he was right there. Well, let me tell you what
- 9:17Speaker 2: Lucky is lucky is when hard work bumps up into opportunity.
- 9:21Speaker 2: If you've been working hard as something and the opportunity
- 9:24Speaker 2: presents itself, that comes a match. That's not luck. But now,
- 9:29Speaker 2: if you haven't done that on a repetitive enough basis,
- 9:33Speaker 2: that opportunity could present itself one time. You got to reconnect.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Stop complaining, man, come on, listen to me. Stop complaining.
- 9:42Speaker 2: It hasn't fixed a single thing in your life. And
- 9:44Speaker 2: if you're a chronic complainer, it's because you really really
- 9:48Speaker 2: have not fixed your relationship with God. He'll move it
- 9:50Speaker 2: out for you. That I can tell you for a fact.
- 9:53Speaker 2: I know that for a fact He's mooved mine out.
- 9:55Speaker 2: All right, let's go morning, ladies and gentlemen. The time
- 10:04Speaker 2: has come. It's arrived. This a new day, another blessing,
- 10:07Speaker 2: another gift from God. I'm grateful for all of it. Man,
- 10:10Speaker 2: I know you are too, So we just want to
- 10:12Speaker 2: give take a moment out to say thank you to
- 10:15Speaker 2: the Creator for all he's done for us. That's the
- 10:17Speaker 2: best way to start your day. Start your day with
- 10:19Speaker 2: gratitude will affect your attitude, which has a direct correlation
- 10:22Speaker 2: to your altitude. Simple as that Steve Arbret Morti Show,
- 10:25Speaker 2: Shelty Strawberry Calling for Real, Mississippi Monica, the Junior Boy
- 10:29Speaker 2: and the Legend that is Nephew Tommy Junior. What's going
- 10:33Speaker 2: on today?
- 10:34Speaker 7: Man?
- 10:35Speaker 3: You know up?
- 10:35Speaker 8: Man?
- 10:36Speaker 2: I just want to ask you something. Man, I want
- 10:38Speaker 2: to know if you know me. Let me stop it now,
- 10:42Speaker 2: let me stop me.
- 10:44Speaker 7: Now.
- 10:44Speaker 2: If you're gonna ask me the question, Junior, don't give
- 10:47Speaker 2: me the answer. I'm not go ahead because you've been
- 10:53Speaker 2: doing that a lot lately and I just noticed it.
- 10:55Speaker 2: It just just being a little bit, you know, put
- 10:58Speaker 2: offish to say the least something. I want to help you,
- 11:04Speaker 2: but I can't help you if you already know I.
- 11:07Speaker 9: Don't know this one?
- 11:08Speaker 2: What is it today?
- 11:11Speaker 9: If I was in the hospital, uncle, and you was
- 11:14Speaker 9: my caretaker, you the only one in here, would you
- 11:17Speaker 9: be able to do the job?
- 11:19Speaker 5: You do already know the answer to that one?
- 11:21Speaker 9: Junior, I don't know the answer because it's gonna be

- 20:11Speaker 4: I'm I'm gonna kicking. Let me called that he on
- 20:15Speaker 4: the phone. He ain't on the phone, man, I'm sweating
- 20:19Speaker 4: like a Oh so I'm still so. I'm still getting
- 20:21Speaker 4: my damn check that. That's what that means. Y'all have
- 20:23Speaker 4: me heiting? Boy, I thought y'all gonna take my what's up?
- 20:27Speaker 13: Man?
- 20:27Speaker 4: Nice to hear from y'all. Man, y'all got me though, Man,
- 20:31Speaker 4: y'all got me.
- 20:32Speaker 7: I got one more question? Man, what is the baddest
- 20:35Speaker 7: and I mean the baddest radio show in.
- 20:38Speaker 4: The land, of course, no doubt, man, it's the Steve
- 20:41Speaker 4: Harvey Morning Show, always will be. Especially y'all done got
- 20:45Speaker 4: me like this here?
- 20:48Speaker 1: You need the man your business?
- 20:50Speaker 5: Hey, hey, hey, coming up next, you're listening Harvey Morning
- 20:57Speaker 5: Show coming up at the top of the hour. In
- 21:00Speaker 5: the Entertainment News, Hallie Berry post naked on this past
- 21:05Speaker 5: Mother's Day, Tommy Gail King is on the cover of
- 21:10Speaker 5: the sixtieth anniversary issue of Sports Illustrated the swimsuit cover,
- 21:16Speaker 5: and Stevie Wonder is now a citizen of Ghana. We'll
- 21:19Speaker 5: talk about all of these stories at the top of
- 21:21Speaker 5: the hour, but right now it is time to ask
- 21:24Speaker 5: the clo. This is from Carolyn and West Phillip Coelo.
- 21:28Speaker 5: Carolyn writes, I got a fraud alert on my AMEX
- 21:32Speaker 5: card after my son decided to buy his girlfriend a
- 21:34Speaker 5: tennis bracelet for Mother's Day. He is only twenty three
- 21:38Speaker 5: years old and he is not the father of her child.
- 21:42Speaker 5: All I got was a card. Should I make my
- 21:44Speaker 5: son return the bracelet?
- 21:46Speaker 8: Oh?
- 21:47Speaker 2: Come on, wow, Well you should make him pay for it.
- 21:52Speaker 2: You should make him pay for it. You know he
- 21:57Speaker 2: can't get to bracelet back from the girl. See what
- 22:01Speaker 2: you're trying to do now is humiliate the boy and
- 22:04Speaker 2: humiliate the girl because you don't think the girl good
- 22:07Speaker 2: enough for your son, because you talking about it ain't
- 22:10Speaker 2: your child now. You raised the boy to be respectful
- 22:13Speaker 2: of women. Then when he showed some respect towards a woman. Now,
- 22:17Speaker 2: you want him to unrespect her, No, that's not how
- 22:20Speaker 2: it works. Make him be the man he's supposed to be,
- 22:23Speaker 2: and make him pay for the tennis bracelet. That's the
- 22:28Speaker 2: key to this. You cannot make this boy go back
- 22:31Speaker 2: in here and get this bracelet from this girl. Do
- 22:34Speaker 2: you know all the levels that that's gonna take. And
- 22:38Speaker 2: it's really because you don't like the girl. She ain't
- 22:41Speaker 2: even mentioned how much tennis bracelet was, how he gonna
- 22:44Speaker 2: pay her back, how he ran. Yeah, he didn't do that.
- 22:49Speaker 2: He ain't the father of the baby. That's where she
- 22:52Speaker 2: mad at.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Yeah, oh he should have asked as much.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm just stupid. And he only bought his mom
- 23:04Speaker 5: a card. That's the crazy part.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Oh I didn't even hear that part.
- 23:12Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, he only bought his mama card.
- 23:15Speaker 2: You need his butt well out now. And are you stupid?
- 23:22Speaker 2: You do as a donob. You ain't get your mama
- 23:25Speaker 2: nothing nothing with her card. You'd have been better off
- 23:31Speaker 2: buying your mama that tennis. Basel hadn't given that girl
- 23:34Speaker 2: the car.
- 23:35Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, that's mama's point, that part.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 23:40Speaker 5: Yeah, he only got his mama card. Yeah, all right.
- 23:44Speaker 7: Uh.
- 23:45Speaker 5: Moving on to Ronda in Detroit, Ronda says, I told
- 23:49Speaker 5: my husband some juicy gossip about a coworker. He knows
- 23:52Speaker 5: more about her business than I do. He told me
- 23:55Speaker 5: that I should tell her that the streets are talking.
- 23:58Speaker 5: If it were me, I would want to know. We're
- 24:00Speaker 5: not close friends. Should I tell her?
- 24:03Speaker 2: Well? I think your bigger problem is how your husband
- 24:06Speaker 2: know the streets is talking. Uh huh?
- 24:09Speaker 5: How does he know so much?
- 24:12Speaker 2: And stay out of it? It's gossip. Yeah, I just
- 24:16Speaker 2: think it's gossip. Stay out of it. What's the problem?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Mine your business? What happened today?
- 24:22Speaker 5: It seems to be a lost art these days.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Mine your business? That ain't your business? Wow?
- 24:34Speaker 5: Yeah, it's really not okay. Moving on to Yvette and Monroe,
- 24:39Speaker 5: Iveed writes, my boyfriend of two years recently broke things
- 24:43Speaker 5: off with me by a text message. He told me
- 24:45Speaker 5: he was not happy. I want to know why, but
- 24:48Speaker 5: he won't return my calls or text messages. Why won't
- 24:51Speaker 5: he tell me why he was unhappy so I can
- 24:54Speaker 5: move on?
- 24:55Speaker 2: Because men don't do closure. How many times do I
- 25:02Speaker 2: have to say this so I can move on? You
- 25:06Speaker 2: best best to find a way to move on without it.
- 25:10Speaker 2: He texts you now that I was trifling at night,
- 25:13Speaker 2: but he told you he wasn't happy. He's done. He
- 25:18Speaker 2: don't return your calls. Now you need a phone call
- 25:21Speaker 2: to move on. I suggest you move on without the
- 25:25Speaker 2: phone call.
- 25:27Speaker 5: She's never going to get it, because.
- 25:28Speaker 2: If that's what you're waiting on, you ain't gonna be
- 25:30Speaker 2: able to move on. Yeah, and now, if you like
- 25:35Speaker 2: for me to personally help you with this, I will.
- 25:39Speaker 2: I don't like you. This is what he saved. I
- 25:45Speaker 2: don't care for you. You are so offensive to me.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I don't even want to discuss anything with you. I
- 25:54Speaker 2: want all contexts cut off. That's how repulsive you are
- 25:59Speaker 2: to me. And I don't ever I want to even
- 26:02Speaker 2: hear your voice again. WHOA Okay, if you don't need
- 26:06Speaker 2: to move on.
- 26:07Speaker 5: From yes, help run girl, don't walk run away?
- 26:16Speaker 1: Be grateful? Yeah with you, she's like that. Oh wow?
- 26:20Speaker 1: All right?
- 26:22Speaker 5: Paris and New Rochelle last one. Steve says, my ten
- 26:26Speaker 5: year old wonted an above ground pool, so my boyfriend
- 26:30Speaker 5: bought her one. I told my daughter it was a
- 26:32Speaker 5: gift from me, but her dad knows I couldn't afford it.
- 26:36Speaker 5: He said that my boyfriend is doing way too much.
- 26:39Speaker 5: Why is he so mad about a pool?
- 26:44Speaker 2: Well, it's the male ego. What the real problem is
- 26:53Speaker 2: that daddy can't afford to pool?
- 26:55Speaker 5: Eat right, Okay, that's the real problem.
- 27:00Speaker 2: And now your boyfriend and came in playing Disney Dad.
- 27:05Speaker 2: You know he wasn't there for all of the raising
- 27:08Speaker 2: part of it, but he is there for that. I
- 27:10Speaker 2: want her to like me part and let me just
- 27:13Speaker 2: shower her with gifts. Well, two good things is happening.
- 27:17Speaker 2: He is treating your daughter right. But secondly, your ex
- 27:22Speaker 2: husband is a bit put off because he doing too much,
- 27:27Speaker 2: well you know, for his starter taking care of the girl.
- 27:32Speaker 2: I know that's a lot. But he bought her the pool.
- 27:35Speaker 2: That's what she wanted. You ain't had the money for it.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Your ex husband ain't had the money for it. Jiggerlo
- 27:42Speaker 2: Jack had the money for him.
- 27:44Speaker 5: So Steve, would you be mad in that instance if
- 27:47Speaker 5: it were your daughter and your boyfriend?
- 27:51Speaker 2: Uh? At least because that's the male ego?
- 27:57Speaker 1: Wait a minute, did you get.
- 28:00Speaker 7: What is it?
- 28:00Speaker 1: What is your saying?
- 28:01Speaker 2: At least everybodys gonna learn how to swim, We're gonna
- 28:03Speaker 2: get so Memorial Day around a corner.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Yeah, articulated, Well, at least the baby's happy. The ten
- 28:12Speaker 5: year old is happy.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I know the pool ain't leaving.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I know that, Marco.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I'm sitting out in the backyard with my chest out
- 28:21Speaker 2: with my weber grell with the wheels on the pool up.
- 28:25Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, how y'all doing over there?
- 28:27Speaker 7: Y'all?
- 28:27Speaker 6: Pool?
- 28:31Speaker 2: I get phone, Hey, man, what you're doing all? We're
- 28:33Speaker 2: just out here splash all right?
- 28:39Speaker 5: Well, well yeah, so yeah, so the husband, the ex
- 28:45Speaker 5: husband is mad.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Yeah, her ex husband. He's gonna be mad because he
- 28:50Speaker 2: getting showed up. The male ego is in it now.
- 28:53Speaker 2: But let the girl enjoy the swimming pool she got.
- 28:58Speaker 5: All right, thank you, Celo. Coming up at the top

- 33:04Speaker 1: At any age? Gill?
- 33:06Speaker 5: I think will be seventy this year. I think so, sir,

- 33:25Speaker 2: Down? All right, when we researched and we researched you,
- 33:31Speaker 2: I like to not sound corny. I like confidence, Yeah,
- 33:38Speaker 2: I like I like a woman who has confidence. I
- 33:40Speaker 2: like a woman with a nice walk, you know, walk,
- 33:46Speaker 2: come up, bring it.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Yes, that's sexy.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Yeah. I like those two things. I like a woman
- 33:53Speaker 2: who specializes in upkeep. I like hair, make a total
- 34:00Speaker 2: nail polish, finger nail polish. I like stuff like that.
- 34:04Speaker 7: I like that.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I like all the stuff I don't do.

- 34:13Speaker 5: make up and hair and nails.
- 34:16Speaker 8: I like the confidence I like he like confidence. I
- 34:20Speaker 8: like breast for dance, booted dance. All of that is

- 34:27Speaker 5: You know him, I don't know why he's in the cos.
- 34:35Speaker 6: All that.
- 34:35Speaker 2: That's all.
- 34:38Speaker 5: You have anything to add to this ignorant conversation.
- 34:42Speaker 9: You know, I like all the things that Fellas said.
- 34:45Speaker 9: But you know, I like a woman with a beautiful mind, though,
- 34:47Speaker 9: I really do you see something that I can't see
- 34:50Speaker 9: in myself? You know that that that that can pull
- 34:53Speaker 9: that out of me.
- 34:54Speaker 2: That's what I like.
- 34:59Speaker 5: You know, that makes it work for me.
- 35:01Speaker 9: You know, I like that about a woman. You know,
- 35:04Speaker 9: it's just not about her body and all of that.
- 35:06Speaker 9: She's the whole person. I try to receive her as that.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but what does your wife seeing you though? That's
- 35:15Speaker 2: what I'm unable.
- 35:18Speaker 5: I don't try to discredit. His answer.

- 38:53Speaker 14: you know who looks into me and see things in me.
- 38:56Speaker 14: You know that I didn't even know I had like
- 38:58Speaker 14: you on the inside of me, and you know, seeing
- 39:02Speaker 14: bacteria things.
- 39:03Speaker 6: You know, what.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Sings floating around in me that I didn't even.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Know dare coming.
- 39:10Speaker 5: In thirty four, chapter Rice is coming home for you called.
- 39:14Speaker 5: Check Steve's voicemail eight seven seven nine, Steve, right after
- 39:17Speaker 5: you're listening Hard Morning Show. It's time now to check
- 39:23Speaker 5: Steve's voicemails eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve. You can
- 39:26Speaker 5: call if you want to leave Steve a message. You
- 39:28Speaker 5: might just hear your call on the air. This one's
- 39:31Speaker 5: from Robert Steve. He left to comment about Trump.
- 39:34Speaker 6: Something was burning, really burning my butt. Man, Hey, going
- 39:37Speaker 6: after Donald Trump for this, uh, you know, family matter
- 39:40Speaker 6: of something with him and his wife, personal matter when they.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Should be going after his ass for treason.
- 39:46Speaker 1: I mean you many times.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Its mayored Riot at the Capitol. I'm sorry she.
- 39:51Speaker 6: Using my language anytime when you do something person like
- 39:54Speaker 6: that at the Capitol. Builder, that's treating man using my
- 39:57Speaker 6: language to.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Your evil Brady warns, love you. Yeah, I understand what
- 40:02Speaker 2: you're saying. But what this House money trial is not
- 40:05Speaker 2: a personal matter. First, this money was used an illegal
- 40:11Speaker 2: payment to affect the election his campaign, and this money
- 40:15Speaker 2: was used He made this payment to Michael Cohen while
- 40:18Speaker 2: he was president and wrote the check from the White
- 40:22Speaker 2: House for a personal All that stuff is illegal. He's
- 40:26Speaker 2: done so much illegal stuff. We just live in a corrupt,
- 40:29Speaker 2: in moral society. If this weren't anybody else, let me
- 40:33Speaker 2: explain something to y'all point blank. If this was Barack Obama, Yes, sir,
- 40:39Speaker 2: do you know how this would be going? Yes, And
- 40:42Speaker 2: nobody would be accepting of it, Republicans or Democrats. He
- 40:49Speaker 2: would be held to another set of standards, the one
- 40:53Speaker 2: that Donald Trump is supposed to be held to. This
- 40:56Speaker 2: man is hijacking the democracy. He is fighting the against elections.
- 41:01Speaker 2: That is democracy, the same thing your Constitution and y'all
- 41:05Speaker 2: forefathers came up with. He is the very person that's
- 41:08Speaker 2: going against all of that, and y'all letting him do it,
- 41:12Speaker 2: and y'all letting him hijack y'all's democracy. We're not a
- 41:16Speaker 2: part of your democracy anyway, never have been. All you
- 41:20Speaker 2: gotta do is look at the prison systems. It don't
- 41:23Speaker 2: work that way for us, but it seems to work
- 41:27Speaker 2: that way for him. But I bet it wouldn't work
- 41:29Speaker 2: that no other way for any black person, any black
- 41:34Speaker 2: person anywhere, or ninety one damn indictments and running for
- 41:37Speaker 2: the White House. A job at the White House, you
- 41:40Speaker 2: get one indictment your hands, won't get a job at
- 41:43Speaker 2: Chuck E Cheese nowhere, and you pay one hundred and
- 41:45Speaker 2: thirty thousand dollars to a porno star out of your
- 41:49Speaker 2: You ain't getting in the White House. You ain't even
- 41:52Speaker 2: getting back in your house. But he is allowed to
- 41:56Speaker 2: do all of this. Now, this is crazy, This is crazy.
- 42:00Speaker 2: America can miss me on this one, because I don't
- 42:03Speaker 2: really care what they do after this. I'm not listening
- 42:05Speaker 2: to him no more because y'all, y'all just letting this
- 42:09Speaker 2: man hijack the whole democracy, the government, everything you believe,
- 42:13Speaker 2: everything he say with his lyon ass. I mean this
- 42:17Speaker 2: is crazy. How you are a common sense thinking person
- 42:21Speaker 2: and you don't see him lying. You know why, because
- 42:23Speaker 2: you don't want to see him, because that's how you
- 42:26Speaker 2: stole the country. You stole America through from lying. It's
- 42:29Speaker 2: all part of the center. That's why they cool with it,
- 42:33Speaker 2: because it's just part of the course for them. And
- 42:36Speaker 2: most people, if they could get an airplane with their
- 42:38Speaker 2: name on the side of it, in the building with
- 42:40Speaker 2: their names on top of it, and they could do
- 42:42Speaker 2: it the same way he did it, they'll do it.
- 42:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:45Speaker 5: Well, moving on to our next call, Steve, remember Anita
- 42:48Speaker 5: Baker canceled her concert at the last minute in Atlanta,
- 42:52Speaker 5: and Tommy told us about the time Luther Vandrous did
- 42:55Speaker 5: the same thing in Detroit. Well, Joanne left a message.
- 42:59Speaker 4: Good morning to the whole crew. But this call is
- 43:01Speaker 4: for Tommy. Tommy, I'm from Detroit. This is Joe and
- 43:04Speaker 4: from Detroit.
- 43:05Speaker 5: And I was sitting in the Fox Theater that night
- 43:08Speaker 5: when Luther Vandross walked off that stage and just left
- 43:11Speaker 5: us sitting there like we were crazy.
- 43:13Speaker 4: And we sat there for a.
- 43:14Speaker 13: While, and then somebody came out and said Luther said
- 43:16Speaker 13: he was having problems with his throat, he couldn't give us.
- 43:19Speaker 1: A good concert and he'd be back another day, and.
- 43:22Speaker 11: We all just still sat there looking crazy.
- 43:25Speaker 4: Band was still sitting there.
- 43:27Speaker 11: And we were all like, I didn't kick it, And
- 43:29Speaker 11: then the lights came on. Well, I guess they not kidding.
- 43:33Speaker 4: It's time to go wrong. So I just want to
- 43:35Speaker 4: let you know I was there with you, Tommy Souse.
- 43:37Speaker 11: Every time Luther came to Detroit, Joe Am was there.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Y'all all have a good day.
- 43:47Speaker 8: And it was the second note and it didn't work.
- 43:49Speaker 8: He was like, it's not working to night and just
- 43:51Speaker 8: turned and walked off.
- 43:53Speaker 5: That proved he's a perfectionist.
- 43:55Speaker 2: He was perfect. He was not finna give you a
- 43:57Speaker 2: bad show. That was not gonna happen. Yeah, he came
- 44:00Speaker 2: back and redeemed it though.

- 54:03Speaker 2: It is strawberry letta.
- 54:05Speaker 5: Thank you nephew subject. He asked to see it, and
- 54:08Speaker 5: I heard him, Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband and I
- 54:12Speaker 5: have an auto detailing shop, but we make the most
- 54:15Speaker 5: money with our mobile detailing truck. My husband has been
- 54:19Speaker 5: running the mobile detailing business all by himself because he
- 54:22Speaker 5: said he can't find anyone that's as good as he is.
- 54:25Speaker 5: Most of his mobile customers are single females that don't
- 54:28Speaker 5: like going to a car wash. I go by the
- 54:31Speaker 5: shop daily to pick up the cash so I can
- 54:33Speaker 5: deposit it. I was there the other day and I
- 54:36Speaker 5: overheard a female telling my detailed shop manager that she
- 54:39Speaker 5: had to stop getting mobile detailing because the owner was
- 54:42Speaker 5: flirting with her and her husband didn't like it. Since
- 54:46Speaker 5: she was talking about my husband, I asked the shop
- 54:49Speaker 5: manager if she said anything else about my husband being
- 54:52Speaker 5: inappropriate while he was working. The manager minimized the whole
- 54:57Speaker 5: complaint by saying the customer is an airhead that all
- 55:00Speaker 5: men want her. I could see that in her, so
- 55:04Speaker 5: I didn't dwell on it. The next day, my husband
- 55:06Speaker 5: was on a deck smoking a cigar and I could
- 55:09Speaker 5: see him on the camera, smiling and talking on the phone.
- 55:12Speaker 5: I turned the sound on so I could listen to
- 55:15Speaker 5: his conversation. I heard him asking for a picture of something.
- 55:19Speaker 5: He asked for a sneak peek, a full view, and
- 55:22Speaker 5: then he asked the person to touch whatever it was
- 55:25Speaker 5: that he wanted to see. I started talking to him
- 55:28Speaker 5: through the camera and it startled him. He hung up
- 55:32Speaker 5: without saying bye, and he came in the house. He
- 55:35Speaker 5: said he was talking to a guy about a scratch
- 55:39Speaker 5: on his car. The guy wanted to see if he
- 55:41Speaker 5: could buffet out without having to sand and repaint it.
- 55:45Speaker 5: I don't believe that. My intuition tells me he's a cheater.
- 55:48Speaker 5: My intuition tells me he was asking to see some
- 55:51Speaker 5: part of a female's body. Do I need more proof
- 55:54Speaker 5: before I accuse him of lying? Now, you know in
- 55:58Speaker 5: your soul he was talking to woman, and yes, he
- 56:01Speaker 5: was asking to see it and touch and for her
- 56:04Speaker 5: to touch herself. You heard that, period. I don't care
- 56:07Speaker 5: how he tried to spin it with those lies. He
- 56:09Speaker 5: told you after you startled him on the phone, That's
- 56:12Speaker 5: what it was. There's nothing wrong with your ears. You
- 56:15Speaker 5: heard what you heard. Why did he hang up? The
- 56:18Speaker 5: phone so abruptly when you started talking to him. Why
- 56:21Speaker 5: was he smoking a cigar and smiling about? What was
- 56:25Speaker 5: he smoking and smiling about? What was that all about?
- 56:29Speaker 5: If it was business? It was If it was just business.
- 56:32Speaker 5: And a scratch doesn't have to be touched to see
- 56:35Speaker 5: that it's a scratch. You can just point to a scratch.
- 56:37Speaker 5: There's nothing wrong with a little harmless flirting. I get
- 56:40Speaker 5: that from time to time. But your husband is out
- 56:43Speaker 5: there doing the most in these streets. I think you
- 56:45Speaker 5: should get in that truck and start going on these
- 56:47Speaker 5: mobile detailing jobs with him.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Steve.
- 56:50Speaker 2: First of all, let's just go on to deal with
- 56:53Speaker 2: the you know, relationship record herself, who just has destroyed
- 56:57Speaker 2: another relationship whatever up in here, and try to salvage
- 57:02Speaker 2: what I can of the remaining relationship that these poor
- 57:05Speaker 2: people have. Lord, have mercy forgive us this day. Our
- 57:09Speaker 2: daily bread boy is boring so much damn trouble in
- 57:13Speaker 2: this letter.
- 57:13Speaker 10: But Lord, how can I help him?
- 57:16Speaker 2: You know, it's hard to help for food sometimes because
- 57:20Speaker 2: I already know what Shereley gonna do, seek and destroy.
- 57:23Speaker 2: She's on a mission and already, you know, to end
- 57:26Speaker 2: them as many as she can obviously, and I understand
- 57:30Speaker 2: that usually comes to the aid of the woman to
- 57:34Speaker 2: try to offer her but mostly in out. I, on
- 57:38Speaker 2: the other hand, come with a different mission in mind
- 57:41Speaker 2: to all diversity in the letter. My husband and I
- 57:44Speaker 2: got an auto detail and shop and we make the
- 57:47Speaker 2: most money with our mobile detailing truck. I stop by
- 57:51Speaker 2: the business every day to pick up the money. The
- 57:54Speaker 2: problem is most if its customers happen to be single
- 57:57Speaker 2: females that don't like going to car washing, you know,
- 58:00Speaker 2: So I you know all this here. So you overheard
- 58:04Speaker 2: one of your shop managers talking to a customer that
- 58:08Speaker 2: said she had to stop the mobile detailing because the
- 58:11Speaker 2: owner was flirting with her and her husband didn't like it. Now,
- 58:14Speaker 2: a minute ago, you just said most of the customers
- 58:16Speaker 2: were single females. Now that lady Mary got a husband,
- 58:20Speaker 2: So you know, what are you hearing? So let's find
- 58:23Speaker 2: out what you heard. He said that my manager said
- 58:29Speaker 2: that she had to stop because the owner was flirting
- 58:31Speaker 2: with her. So you asked the manager, did she say
- 58:33Speaker 2: anything else about your husband saying anything that might be
- 58:37Speaker 2: in appropriate. The manager kind of shut the whole thing
- 58:40Speaker 2: down by saying that she's an ad head and she
- 58:43Speaker 2: thinks all men want her, you said yourself. I can
- 58:46Speaker 2: see that in her because women can see things. My
- 58:51Speaker 2: husband was on the deck smoking a cigar. This is
- 58:53Speaker 2: why I come in at because I too smoked cigars,
- 58:57Speaker 2: and I am a man, so I specialize in it.
- 59:00Speaker 2: I could see him on the camera smiling and talking
- 59:05Speaker 2: on the phone. This is where the letter gets cloudy
- 59:08Speaker 2: for me. He was smiling and talking on the phone.
- 59:13Speaker 2: I turned up the sounds so I could listen to
- 59:16Speaker 2: his conversation. Now she turned up the sound on what
- 59:22Speaker 2: that's what I didn't understand. Camera the camera, Oh, she
- 59:26Speaker 2: got one.
- 59:29Speaker 5: She could see him on camera talking on the phone,
- 59:32Speaker 5: so she turned okay, and I heard.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Him asking for a picture of something. He asked for
- 59:37Speaker 2: a sneak peek or full view, and then he asked
- 59:41Speaker 2: the person to touch whatever it was that he wanted
- 59:45Speaker 2: to see. I started talking to him through the camera
- 59:49Speaker 2: and it startled him. He hung up without saying goodbye
- 59:52Speaker 2: and came in the house. He said he was talking
- 59:55Speaker 2: to a guy about a scratch on his car, and
- 59:58Speaker 2: the guy wanted to see if he you could buffet
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: out without having the sand and repaint it. I don't
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: believe that mind tuition tells me he's a cheat, a cheatah,
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: and my tuition tells me he was asking to see
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: some part of a female body. Do I need more
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: proof before I accuse him of lying?
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: Well?
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: Have part two of Steve's response coming up at twenty
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: three minutes after the hour. My Strawberry letter for today.
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: The subject is he asked to see it and I
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: heard him. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: You're listening hard morning show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: let's recap today's strawberry letter. Subject he has to see
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: it and I heard him.
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: Oh.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: This lady and her husband have the mobile detail shop.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: She was over at the shop one day collecting the
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: money and overheard a customer talking to one of the
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: managers saying she had to stop the mobile detailing busses
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: that makes most of their money because the one of
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: the guys was flirting with her and her husband didn't
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: like it. So then you knew she was talking about
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: your husband. So you went up to the manager, say
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: did she say anything else her husband did was inappropriate?
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: The manager played it off and shot it down by
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: saying she's an airhead. She think all women all men
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: won't hurt, you said yourself. You could see that. But
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: then the next day your husband was out on the
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: deck smoking a cigar on the phone, smiling, laughing, cigar
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: in his head. This is where Shirley proceeds to destroy
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: another man whatever, to seek and destroy mission she is on.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: I am here to try to offer some type of
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: lie vice lie. Well, but you know it not necessarily
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: a lie, Shirley, because you don't know now. Anyway, he
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: heard her say asking for a picture of something. He
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: asked for a sneak peak, a full view, and then
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: he asked the person to touch whatever it was that
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: he wanted to see. Right. I started talking to him
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: through the camera. They got one of them ring phones.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: I guess she talked out on the deck. Hey, what
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: you out there doing? He hung up without saying goodbye.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: He came in the house and said he was talking
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: to a guy about a scratch on his car, and
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: the guy wanted to see if he could buffet out
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: without having the sand and repaint it. I don't believe that,
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: but you must admit this was a magnificent Oh god,
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: it was all what I love about What his response was.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: It was related to what he do, so he turned
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: his phone call into a business call. Now surely you
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: said some stuff. Mm hmm, that's not true. What because
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: you can't. Well, you can walk around your car with
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: a cigar. I do it all the time. Everybody rubs
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: the scratch on.
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: A car, but you don't have to. That's not necessary.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Everybody rubs the scratch on the car to see how
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: deep the grooves is and if it can be rough
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: buffed out. That's a true statement about a scratch on
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: the car, everybody. If you want me to do my buss,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: you got to show me the scratch.
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: Well he could have just showed it to it.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: Man, come and give me a full view of it. Now,
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: touch it, rub it cross there with your fringers so
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: I can see if it's down into the pin. What
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: a wonderful thing he said. Now Shelley thinks that he's
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: talking about a woman's body part, because that's what the
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: wife said. The wife said, I don't believe him, But
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: then here was the opening. Do I need more proof
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: before I accuse him of lying? You already are showing
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: what we need, which is reasonable doubt. If you knew
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: that you knew what you knew, you would have approached
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: him by now, but you're a little bit unsure because
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: of his quick king and turn it into a paint.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: In the words of the late Johnny cockree, if it
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: doesn't fit, you mustn't quick and that that you got.
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: It fits.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: It fits what an autobody man would say. Let me
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: see it. Pull back, give me a full view of
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: that's great, like that you were talking like that. Put
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: your finger on it. Let me see if that ain't
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: too deep. Put your fingers on that scratch. Let me see.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: How are you see what I'm saying? You see what
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: That's not a business call.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: And you you with your busy boy, Hey, why are
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: you doing out there?
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: The wife?
- 1:05:15Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Hey what did you touch it out there? What did
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: you got? Your friends?
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: They got to come in?
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: Now you have messed up to be visit deal?
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: Yeah right right?
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: And yeah you scared me because I heard a voice
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: out of nowhere. See all this could be true. Now
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: surely being the person that she is, evil just evil
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: has destroyed, destroyed another family. I have tried to save
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: a family.
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: If you tried to help him with a good lie
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: to get out of it.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: Better than the ones you well, but it was the
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: lie that was needed to cause reasonable doubt because now
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: she is now questioning does she need more proof? Yes,
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: therefore you have to have more proof she doesn't. That's
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: all I can say. You need more proof? All right? Yes?
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey

- 1:06:34Speaker 5: Now coming up at forty six minutes after the hour,
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: we got Junior in with Sports Talk right after this.

- 1:06:58Speaker 9: for ok See is seat Gilberg. You'll just Alexander. He
- 1:07:01Speaker 9: had thirty points.

- 1:07:05Speaker 2: there you go? What oh in two days? Now?

- 1:07:13Speaker 2: what they call them.
- 1:07:14Speaker 8: Baby.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Well you know that how you learn that sorts?
- 1:07:22Speaker 9: You know he know too, Mom, it's Hga, that's who
- 1:07:25Speaker 9: it is. I ain't gonna let him be out there
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: by himself. Sure he paid my check and that was Carl.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you can leave me out there by yourself for
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: all I care.
- 1:07:39Speaker 9: Boston Man closed out Cleveland one thirteen and ninety eight.
- 1:07:43Speaker 9: No Donovan Minchell, no, no Jared Allen, no carouseler Vert Man.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: And yeah we's got we got decimated with injuries. Great
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: great season, Cavaliers, Thanks for everything. Appreciate that, you know, attempt.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: You know, it was a lot of pride for a moment.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: But you know, too many injuries. We'll see y'all next year.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: How many times it's something you're expecting that Oh knew it,
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: knew it, He knew it. I mean, especially when the
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: injury started happening, when the injury started burning Dawn Man.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: Uh, well, you know.
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: Evan Mobley balled out for Cleveland Man, he had thirty three,
- 1:08:23Speaker 9: but didn't nobody else show.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: Up to help him. It was just Evan Mobley. Well
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: how many that work did they have? Uh?
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: Evan Mobley had thirty three, but everybody else was just
- 1:08:33Speaker 9: in there. There just eleven, twelve, thirteen.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: What I'm asking is what what was the score? Oh? One,
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: thirteen to ninety eight. Well, there's some more people just
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: gold baskets. I'm not gonna let you degrade my team total.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: I'm not like you're talking like we just had thirty
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: three points. Just what Evy Bobley was the only one
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: that double Biggs?
- 1:08:56Speaker 10: Really pretty much?
- 1:08:57Speaker 8: Oh?
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: Is eleven to you? I'm just saying he the only
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: one over twenty?
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: Is it?
- 1:09:04Speaker 9: I'm not going to be great the teams.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Let's go with that.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Okay, but let's give.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: A shout out to.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: Hold On, hold on before we move on, Let's give
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: a shout out to the Houston Rockets. Then, since we're
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: talking about who sucked, Oh God, just just a firm
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: shout out to the Rockets because I didn't know if
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: there was the Rockets or the Rockets show. Oh wow Wow.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Injuries made her w NBA debut man.
- 1:09:35Speaker 9: She had twelve points, eight rebounds, five offensive rebounds as
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: the Chicago Sky fall to the Dallas Wings eighty seven
- 1:09:43Speaker 9: to seventy nine.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: Did you go, Shirley?
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: Thank you you? And you're coming up at the top
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: of the hour. A woman on social media needs some advice.
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: She says, I want the lottery? Should I share it
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: with my friend? We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: You're listening hard morning show, all right, Steve so Adrian
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: and Steve Harvey FM. Needs your advice. She says. I
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: won three million dollars in the lottery. For three years weekly,
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: my friend Laarnda and I went in fifty to fifty
- 1:10:13Speaker 5: on ten lottery tickets for each drawing, with the agreement
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: that we'd each get half of anything we won. Well,
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: right now, we're going through a small beat, just over
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: silly stuff. Anyway, two days later, the next lottery drawing
- 1:10:27Speaker 5: came about and I bought ten tickets without Larnda contributing,
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: and miracle of miracles, I actually won. Larnda and I
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: are friends, and like friends, we fight, but we're back
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: to being close. So here's a question for you, Steve.
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: Do I owe Loronda some half or none of my winnings?
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: Yeah? I think you do, because see, you all had
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: this agreement running for the longest, and you all had
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: been doing it, and then you went off on your
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: own invoked these ten But you all have been on
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: it all along, and I think the right thing to
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: do is you do that? Man? You all should decide
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: how much that is. You know, you owe her something though,
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: because she had been in or with all the time.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: Did you tell her you was gonna buy ten without her?
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: Because y'all would go down there and then somebody would
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: buy the ten and then y'all would split the tickets,
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: and that was y'all's agreement. Yeah.
- 1:11:20Speaker 10: I just think, yeah, you do it.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: I mean, if it's your girl, you know you gotta win.
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: How much.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Split with you?
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: How much from three million?
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: Would you say?
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: You know, really fair? But five hundred thousand?
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: What? Oh?
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: I still got an attitude, give me my half, and
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: I mean, you know, really y'all had.
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: That's what y'all's deal was until they got into the fight.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Yeah, but she said they fight over stuff then they
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: get back cool. Yeah, yeah, see the same.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Wow, that's it. Yeah. I don't even know why you
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: told her you won. That's what I'm trying to.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: Because she bought the tickets on her own while they.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Adrians. This all of a sudden she started balling.
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: Lot control When this has been going on for three years.
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: Every week, you got a Burley bag so much?
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Still, I like I say half would be the really,
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: really fairest thing, since y'all did it that way. But
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: you know you went out and bought these tickets. Now
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: here you go money, then change your attitude. See money,
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: Money change the way people view what fairness is. Now
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: all of a sudden, do I owe her anything? Well,
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: that's why you're writing this letter, because you know you do.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: You know that was y'all's agreement the whole way. But
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: you at least got to give her five hundred thousand.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: She be salty though, because a million.
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: You and Tommy buy lottery tickets together. You've been doing
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: it for three years.
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: You win.
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: Let's say let's make the stakes higher because we know
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: how you are. Let's say you win twenty million, and
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: you go when you went out and bought the tickets
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: on your own, you and Tommy were beefing. So you
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: won twenty million. How much are you given? Yeah, that's
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: that's the issue in this leg. They were arguing, we
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: got into a fight. Yeah, oh we.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Broke up there in years. I got the whole twenty.
- 1:13:34Speaker 13: Thing is different this letter, as I didn't know he
- 1:13:40Speaker 13: was beefing ying.
- 1:13:43Speaker 9: Yeah, but they she said they got into a beach
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: but they still get back cool soon.
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: But while they have fallen out, she went and bought
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: the lottery tickets by herself, just so you don't know.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what he said.
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: You said, No, no, I clear, I ain't never met you.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: If we be, I hit twenty now you shouldn't have
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: be her dog dog dog? Really you know, really are.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: The woman in the letter beefing.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: My wild dog? You one of my really to you
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: my sister's child. I told you really really ain't even
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: that damn closing, I bet you ain't hardy Morning show.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: I bet you're not gonna enjoy.
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: This one coming up at twenty minutes after the hour
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: speaking it's funny, right, Well.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: You ain't gonna know, I got it. So what difference
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: is means.
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: You're listening Morning show.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: So there's a new survey that found out that, on average,
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: people need to spend sixty seven minutes outside each day
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: in order to feel refreshed. The survey also revealed that
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: over half the people polled said being outside relaxes them,
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: and the other half said it puts them in a
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: better mood. So, whether it's grilling outside, going to a
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: park or a beach, or just sitting outside in your backyard.
- 1:15:12Speaker 5: Get outside if you can, it's good for you. So
- 1:15:16Speaker 5: you guys agree, I'm.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: A country boy. I do my absolute best when i'm outside.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: What I'm out. Yeah, I'm gonna tell you man like
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: it's talking. When I take family few doing the winter months,
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: early spring, when it gets dark early and I go
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: to work, if I can go to the studio and
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: it's light and get off work and it's still light outside,
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: that helps me a great deal. But when I take
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: my days off and I go to my ranch and
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: I'm fishing, that's what I'm at my happiest. Oh I'm
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: an outdoor boy. I got to be outside.
- 1:15:53Speaker 10: I'm country junior.
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: Oh absolutely, I like sitting outside.
- 1:15:58Speaker 9: You know, I sit out there, smop cilgar, relaxed you
- 1:16:02Speaker 9: some bits, you know, good, good thing.
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: Okay, this sounds so serious. I thought it should be fun.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: Every answered that question with a beautiful man. Now hecation
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: on six, you're like beef mass.
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: Three minutes after around would rather right twice? To see
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: you know you're listening hard morning show and it's time
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: now for a round of would you rather? Would you
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: rather have to make your own clothes? Or would you
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: rather have to grow your own food. Which one throwing
- 1:16:45Speaker 5: or growing bed?
- 1:16:49Speaker 6: No?
- 1:16:49Speaker 7: No, no, no no.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: I thought you said you was gonna make your own clothes.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: I'm not making my own clothes. It would be easy.
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: You have that much.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: Little lad clothes you got to wear on the little
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: bitty jacket, A little bitty passed you half your stuff.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: You canna ride down there the g I Joe shopping,

- 1:18:12Speaker 5: live version of the movie Planet of the Apes, Or
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: would you rather be in Jurassic Park which one?
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: In a Jurassic Park with the dinosaurs, No, not Jurassic Park,
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: Planet at eight?
- 1:18:26Speaker 10: Yeah, being there with yeah, it's kill the humans.
- 1:18:46Speaker 5: Killing at the box office? Yeah, you see you?
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: Would you rather be smacked in the face with a
- 1:18:52Speaker 5: whole raw fish or would you rather be smacked in
- 1:18:54Speaker 5: the face with a whole raw chicken?
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: Slapped chicken breast?
- 1:19:01Speaker 10: That's why they wrote that.
- 1:19:02Speaker 8: That's why they wrote. They wrong for that, man, they did,
- 1:19:05Speaker 8: but they did that. Y'all did y'all wrong for that?
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: Y'all know, y'all already know that. Y'all know that man
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: been here with a piece of chicken.
- 1:19:12Speaker 5: Y'all had five, he's not going to turn out.
- 1:19:16Speaker 8: Why would y'all write it out though? That's that to me,
- 1:19:18Speaker 8: that's just disrespected. Back to the question chicken a fish?
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Which one?
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: Yeah, Well you answered, I don't know man that that.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. That chicken breast is heavy?
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: Is it boneless? It's like getting slapped with an open
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: wet hand piece of salmon. It ain't heavey. Yeah, love
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: me with that salmon. I'm cool with that.
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: I didn't say salmon, it just said raw fish. All right,
- 1:19:48Speaker 5: coming up in forty nine minutes after the hour, it's
- 1:19:51Speaker 5: our last break of the day and we'll close out
- 1:19:53Speaker 5: the show with the one and only Steve Harvey right
- 1:19:56Speaker 5: after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, here
- 1:20:00Speaker 5: we are, guys, our last break of the day. See,
- 1:20:04Speaker 5: before we get to your closing or whatever, we have
- 1:20:06Speaker 5: a voicemail call for you from Sharon out of Atlanta.
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: Take a listen.
- 1:20:13Speaker 11: Good morning, Steve and Morning Show crew. My name is
- 1:20:17Speaker 11: Sharon from Atlanta, Georgia. And you asked both one day
- 1:20:22Speaker 11: about purpose in life, and I am fifty three years old, Steve,
- 1:20:27Speaker 11: and I just don't know my purpose. I don't know.
- 1:20:31Speaker 11: If I've been praying room, but I don't know what
- 1:20:35Speaker 11: going to have for me to do. I don't know.
- 1:20:38Speaker 11: But anyway, Steve, I hope you play this and I
- 1:20:42Speaker 11: heard and you could give me some type advice to
- 1:20:46Speaker 11: you and the Morning Show. Y'all stay blessed and keep
- 1:20:49Speaker 11: doing what you're doing, brother, because you inspire a lot
- 1:20:52Speaker 11: of us, and I thank you so much for they
- 1:20:55Speaker 11: have a wonderful day.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: Oh you know, Sharon, that's not as far fetched uncommon
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: as you might think it is. There are quite a
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: few people who never find their purpose in life. So
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: in closing, let me tell you the best way I
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: found to discover your purpose in life. Your purpose is
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: directly tied to your gift. People who don't discover their
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: purpose in life have never taken full advantage or notice
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: or applied their gift. That's the problem with most people,
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: and it's a common problem. The Bible says, your gift
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: will make room for you and put you in the
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: presence of great men. But you've got to get to
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: the part of discovering what the gift is. And your
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: gift is a thing that you do the absolute best
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: with the least amount of effort. The problem is most
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: people look at gifts as running, jumping, singing, and dancing. No,
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: there's so many things you can be gifted at. There
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: are people who are born to be teachers. There are
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: people who are born to be nurses. There are people
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: who are born to be in the military. There are
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: people who are born to be firemen. There are people
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: who are born to be designers and architect artists, poets.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: There are people who are born to be singers. There
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: are people who are born to be caregivers. There are
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: people who are born to run daycarees. They might start
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: as a babysitter, but you are born because that is
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: your gift. You take care of kids better than anybody else.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: You end up a babysitter, you end up owning a
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: daycare center. Your purpose. I have found this is my
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: finding in life, that your purpose is tied to your gift,
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: and your gift can just be used for the application
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: of self gain. Your gift must be used in sharing
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: it with the world. Had God given me this gift
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: of humor and I used it purely to make money,
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: I think my ride would have been more limited. But
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: I think what God did. Matter of fact, I know
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: what he did for me was he took this gift
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: of giving me the ability to take anything and turn
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: it into comedy. He also caused me to have a
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: sharp mind because I kept a promise to God a
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: long time ago. I would not dilute the mind. I
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: wouldn't use alcohol and drugs and diffuse this gift that
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: he gave me. My brain is my gift, my quickness,
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: my sharp wit. But that sharp wit has turned into
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: ability to think sharp so I can have moments like
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: this in close and remark without paying or paper, and
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: talk without stuttering or fumbling all over my words because
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: he has enhanced this gift and turned this gift of
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: comedy into as Bill Collsby taught me a lesson, He said, Steve,
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: when you have the ability to make people laugh, you
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: have the undivided attention because everybody wants to laugh, he said.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: But it's in this gift of making people laugh you
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: have to be careful and choose carefully what you say
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: because they are listening, he said. And once you have
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: their undivided attention, you can tell them anything. Well, guess
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: what that turned into me becoming more of an inspirational person,
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: more of a motivational person, because I found out sometimes
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: you don't need laughs, you need information. Sometimes you need
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: a gem or a piece of jewelry to put on
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: your crown so you can make your journey better. And
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: one of the things I learned was how to find purpose.
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: Now there's a book by Rick Warren called The Purpose
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: Driven Life. I strongly suggest you get this book. Rick Warren.
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: I think that's his name. He's a pastor. It's called
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: The Purpose Driven Life. That book right there can help
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: you clear up your purpose, but it's going to be
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: tied to your gift. See my purpose now, I thought
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: was to make people laugh. Well it still is because
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: the laughter is healing. But I don't just do it
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: on stage anymore. I do it on TV every day.
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: Family Feud is a comedy show. It ain't a game show.
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: Nobody tunes into Family Feud to hear what top one
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: hundred people think they tune in because I turned to
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: show into a show about personalities, the relationship between the
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: host and the contestant, and most of the fun is
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: in that relationship right there. But I still make people laugh.
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: But along the way, your gift evolves and it changes,
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: and it reshapes itself, and it turns into more and
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: more and more. And so what turned out for comedy
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: for me with quick Quit has turned out to quick
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: quit and motivation and inspiring people. But my gift led
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: me to my purpose. Discover your gift and it will
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: lead to your purpose. Your main thing right now, sister,
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: is discover your purpose. Excuse me, It's to discover your
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: gift who will lead you to your purpose. The Bible
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: says the gift will make room for you, and that's
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: what it'll do. That's my suggestion. Now, somebody else might
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: have another route, but I don't know that route, so
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: I just gave you mind. Those are my closing remarks today.
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: Hope you got something from it today. God will, and
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: we'll see y'all tomorrow. Hey, y'all, listen, talk to God today.
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: He would absolutely love to hear from you. And it
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: don't matter if you ain't talked to him in a while.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: He know already knows.
