- 0:24Speaker 4: Listening to.
- 0:26Speaker 3: To I don't Joy, yeah, Joy, you know you love you.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Gotta turn't to turn the mouth turn you probably got
- 1:44Speaker 4: to turn the mouth.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Turn out the word of the mony.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yo, look me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Come out.
- 1:59Speaker 1: You think that I sure will? Good morning everybody. You're
- 2:04Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Only Steve Harvey, I've got a radio show. Sometimes you
- 2:13Speaker 2: wake up and you're not feeling your best. The reason
- 2:17Speaker 2: I'm talking about this today is because today is one
- 2:20Speaker 2: of those days for me.
- 2:22Speaker 1: You know, you can stay positive, and I'm a very
- 2:25Speaker 1: very positive person.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Now I'm turning it around as I speak to you
- 2:30Speaker 2: because I've learned a trick in my life. I've learned
- 2:34Speaker 2: a self motivating tool that I use and I'm gonna
- 2:38Speaker 2: share it with you today. So if you wake up
- 2:41Speaker 2: and you're not quite feeling yourself that day, as is
- 2:44Speaker 2: the case with me today, here's what I do. I immediately, immediately,
- 2:50Speaker 2: and I'm not kidding you, I'm in the process of
- 2:53Speaker 2: doing it right now. I immediately start thinking of all
- 2:56Speaker 2: the little things that I have that I can be
- 2:58Speaker 2: grateful for. And I start with the fact that the
- 3:01Speaker 2: reason I had to get up this morning. See, the
- 3:05Speaker 2: reason I had to get up this morning was because
- 3:08Speaker 2: of the job I have. Now, you may not have
- 3:12Speaker 2: a job that you're in love with like I'm in
- 3:14Speaker 2: love with mine. But let me ask you this right here,
- 3:18Speaker 2: suppose you didn't.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Have that job. Oh man, how would today be?
- 3:22Speaker 2: Well, you can sleep in a little bit longer, but
- 3:24Speaker 2: when you woke up, man, you'd have to be faced
- 3:26Speaker 2: with the cold realization that hey, man, I ain't working. Man,
- 3:30Speaker 2: I ain't making it happen for me and mine, I'm
- 3:33Speaker 2: not getting it done. And so with that in mind,
- 3:37Speaker 2: I immediately I start showing some gratitude for waking up
- 3:44Speaker 2: and man, just having work to go do. And then
- 3:47Speaker 2: I started telling myself that man, he didn't have to
- 3:50Speaker 2: do it, but he did. He woke me up this morning,
- 3:53Speaker 2: that I'm up, I'm actually able, that I'm here again,
- 3:56Speaker 2: that he ain't through with me yet, that that's really
- 3:59Speaker 2: still things for me to do.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Man, Okay, cool, I'm on point with that. I'm on
- 4:04Speaker 1: point with that.
- 4:05Speaker 2: And then I just started going over the little things Man,
- 4:07Speaker 2: you know, my coffee machine wasn't working this morning. I said, Man,
- 4:11Speaker 2: I've been down. I've been fitting with that coffee machine,
- 4:14Speaker 2: trying to get it to work. You know, couldn't get
- 4:16Speaker 2: it to work. I called somebody, you know, I get
- 4:20Speaker 2: some coffee. It's okay. The ain't the end of the world,
- 4:23Speaker 2: you know. And I started thinking about, man, that I
- 4:26Speaker 2: have a place that I can go to once a year.
- 4:29Speaker 2: That's beautiful, you know. I started thinking about you know, man,
- 4:31Speaker 2: look I got a place that I lay my head.
- 4:34Speaker 2: That's mine. I mean, you know, as my father in
- 4:37Speaker 2: law once told me, when somebody came to see about
- 4:40Speaker 2: him and his house was inside his house talking to
- 4:42Speaker 2: him crazy the police, he said, listen to me, he said,
- 4:45Speaker 2: this is my house. He says, as Meaga, as it
- 4:48Speaker 2: may be, this is my house, and I'm the king
- 4:52Speaker 2: of this castle right here. However, meaga, it may be,
- 4:58Speaker 2: this is mine. And you know, when you start looking
- 5:01Speaker 2: at stuff in terms like that, man, I mean, for me,
- 5:03Speaker 2: it's just a trick.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I use.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I start feeling better. I started looking.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Around, man, I started thinking about, man, I had I
- 5:09Speaker 2: got something to wear today. You know, I start looking
- 5:11Speaker 2: at little stuff, man, I'm gonna have some eggs later on. Today,
- 5:15Speaker 2: I started looking at other stuff. Somebody's hungry today. See,
- 5:18Speaker 2: somebody don't don't really have an option of knowing what
- 5:22Speaker 2: they're going to have today.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I actually haven't refrigerated with an option in it.
- 5:27Speaker 2: You know. I start looking at the little things, man,
- 5:29Speaker 2: that God has done for me, the little things is
- 5:31Speaker 2: in my life.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And I started picking myself up. Man.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I started feeling a whole lot better about myself. And see,
- 5:36Speaker 2: the more I start telling it to you right now,
- 5:38Speaker 2: the better I'm starting to feel. Because man, is you
- 5:41Speaker 2: could you know? I mean, look, I mean, listen to
- 5:43Speaker 2: my voice. My energy is picking up, my pace is
- 5:45Speaker 2: picking up because now I didn't hit out of hit
- 5:47Speaker 2: my rhythm.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I'm up. I'm glad, I'm up. I'm grateful to be here.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I'm glad.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I got a family. I'm glad God didne kept my kids.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Glad God kept my wife. You know, I'm glad. You know,
- 5:57Speaker 2: whoever you are, whatever your situation is, God didn't kept
- 6:00Speaker 2: somebody for you on your behalf. That's a benefit to
- 6:03Speaker 2: you or somebody you're trying to teach something, they may
- 6:07Speaker 2: finally get it today or something you've been trying to know.
- 6:10Speaker 2: You may finally know it today, but you got to
- 6:13Speaker 2: accept the blessing of what it is that you know
- 6:16Speaker 2: now okay, you know, see, if you've been looking for
- 6:20Speaker 2: an answer, a solution to a problem and then the
- 6:23Speaker 2: solution come, you know you got to be grateful for it.
- 6:26Speaker 2: You know, Lord, help me with this relationship. Maybe today
- 6:29Speaker 2: is today you find out that that's been the toxic
- 6:31Speaker 2: and the poison in your life, that that relationship is
- 6:34Speaker 2: what's wrong. But because we want to hang on to it,
- 6:38Speaker 2: or we tried to make it go against everything that
- 6:41Speaker 2: was in us. Now we got this toxic poison in
- 6:44Speaker 2: our life. You know, you may find out today that
- 6:46Speaker 2: that's it that you need to move on. Well, you know,
- 6:50Speaker 2: something that ain't the most devastating thing you could find out.
- 6:53Speaker 2: There's a blessing and a lot of things that looks
- 6:55Speaker 2: painful at times. You know, I said that at best
- 6:58Speaker 2: one time, I said, you know something to break up
- 7:01Speaker 2: is the blessing for a lot of people, it is, man,
- 7:05Speaker 2: because you know, look, man, you know we make choices
- 7:07Speaker 2: with who we want to be with, and sometimes you
- 7:09Speaker 2: don't pick the wrong person, and it don't make that
- 7:11Speaker 2: person to bass.
- 7:12Speaker 1: That person just wasn't good together with you. That's all
- 7:15Speaker 1: it is. And so when you come to that realization,
- 7:18Speaker 1: sometimes you know it's time to move on.
- 7:20Speaker 2: You got to be grateful for all of the little things, man,
- 7:23Speaker 2: the fact that you have a way to get around,
- 7:26Speaker 2: the way that you have, the reason that you have
- 7:28Speaker 2: some money to go get on something to go get around,
- 7:30Speaker 2: that you in school. It might not be going just
- 7:33Speaker 2: perfect for you right now, but guess what you in school, man,
- 7:36Speaker 2: you got a shot. You're making it happen, you know
- 7:38Speaker 2: what I'm saying, a lot of people don't have that. Man,
- 7:41Speaker 2: A lot of people don't know what the next move is.
- 7:44Speaker 2: At least you're in the process of doing something about it.
- 7:46Speaker 2: And you may not know how to see your way
- 7:48Speaker 2: all the way to the end. But just knowing what
- 7:50Speaker 2: to do what the next step could be for you,
- 7:52Speaker 2: that's good enough.
- 7:53Speaker 1: You know.
- 7:53Speaker 2: You don't have to know all the steps. Just what
- 7:55Speaker 2: am I gonna do next? Well, left, I do this,
- 7:57Speaker 2: and I'm gonna take this course. Then after I complete
- 8:00Speaker 2: just semester, I move on to that semester. I don't
- 8:02Speaker 2: care what it is. Look, man, we just got to
- 8:04Speaker 2: find something to be grateful about today, because in your gratitude,
- 8:08Speaker 2: God blesses you with more. See when God sees that
- 8:11Speaker 2: we're grateful for the things we have, he gives us
- 8:14Speaker 2: more things to be grateful for. It's simply the law
- 8:16Speaker 2: of attraction. It works in every aspect of your life.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Matter fact that you don't know the rule, it does
- 8:23Speaker 2: not matter. So the thing that you want the most
- 8:27Speaker 2: of in your life is the thing that you're gonna
- 8:29Speaker 2: have to give the most of the things that the
- 8:33Speaker 2: thing that you hope happens to you the most. It
- 8:37Speaker 2: is the thing that you're gonna have to have happen
- 8:39Speaker 2: to others the most. Lord, I want you to cover me.
- 8:43Speaker 2: You're gonna have to cover some people. Lord, I want
- 8:46Speaker 2: you to hear my crime. You're gonna have to hear
- 8:48Speaker 2: some people's surprise. Lod I want more love in my life.
- 8:53Speaker 2: You're gonna have to love more people. I'm talking about real,
- 8:56Speaker 2: real love.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Now.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I'm not talking about going out fooling around with somebody.
- 8:59Speaker 2: That's ridiculousness. Let's see here's oh, well, well, since I'm
- 9:02Speaker 2: talking about love and wrong love and ridiculousness, here's how
- 9:06Speaker 2: you know that it ain't from God.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I want you to hear me.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Now, if God is involved in it, there is no sin.
- 9:16Speaker 2: If there is sin involved in it is not from God.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Just remember that rule. It took me a long time
- 9:24Speaker 1: learned that way.
- 9:26Speaker 2: You know what the Bible says doing tell us that
- 9:28Speaker 2: you would have them do it when they did it
- 9:29Speaker 2: to me, so they must want it done to them.
- 9:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna go down here, I'm gonna do this. If
- 9:33Speaker 2: what you're going to do is a sin, you have
- 9:36Speaker 2: now twisted a Bible verse to fit your method or
- 9:39Speaker 2: what you want to do. To know, simply know that
- 9:43Speaker 2: if it's God's voice is talking to you, or something
- 9:45Speaker 2: that's going on is in it. Bishop Oldma talked this
- 9:47Speaker 2: to me. The God's voice, in God's methods or ways
- 9:52Speaker 2: has no sin in it.
- 9:54Speaker 1: That's you. All right, Have a great day, everybody.
- 9:57Speaker 6: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Another day is here, another blessing, another great moment of
- 10:07Speaker 2: favor and a gift from God.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Man, it ain't nothing, but it ain't nothing but all
- 10:11Speaker 1: right to be alive. That's all it is.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Man.
- 10:13Speaker 1: It's just a O K.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Fine with me. Man, Thank you God for another day,
- 10:22Speaker 2: another chance. Thank you for taking the troubles and bearing
- 10:26Speaker 2: them from me and listening to me and making me
- 10:28Speaker 2: feel better about it all.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I appreciate that.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Steve har Marni show, Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi
- 10:35Speaker 2: Money Junior and the legend of Nephew Tommy Junior.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Or what's on your mind today? You got your hat
- 10:40Speaker 1: on the day? Yeah? I think got my hat on
- 10:41Speaker 1: to day.
- 10:42Speaker 2: You know this.
- 10:43Speaker 7: I didn't even know. The haircut is why I got
- 10:45Speaker 7: the hat on. That's why it's all. Oh, I got
- 10:47Speaker 7: another half cut. Then I have to take off right.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Yeah, every hevery real step by take? Yeah, hevy real step.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Let's step What does that mean? Every little step I take?
- 11:08Speaker 3: What does that mean? What did you say? Yeah?
- 11:11Speaker 1: I asked, what is he saying? Every step by tape?
- 11:16Speaker 2: My head line recens every trip by me down to
- 11:22Speaker 2: the bob shop.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Every real step by tape goes further away from me.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Every step.
- 11:32Speaker 7: Hene I thought he was doing the real song.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I was.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I was until it hit me. We'll go ahead.
- 11:40Speaker 7: Yeah, let's talk about this man, everything that's going on
- 11:43Speaker 7: with everything with with the country. This is the first
- 11:45Speaker 7: time I like I've seen an administration.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Like this, I ain't nobody. Yeah this is And what's
- 11:52Speaker 1: the focus for us? How do we focus on this?
- 11:54Speaker 2: I don't don't bro I'm adjusting day by day, as
- 11:58Speaker 2: is everyone else, because it's unseen before. It is really
- 12:03Speaker 2: really crazy what's happening. How we've allowed one man to
- 12:07Speaker 2: hijack the entire political system. One man has hijacked the
- 12:13Speaker 2: Senate and the Congress. And this same man has hijacked
- 12:18Speaker 2: the country and the voters of the country voted for
- 12:23Speaker 2: him to allow him to hijack it. And that's all
- 12:27Speaker 2: that is happening, clear as a bell. And it's crazy
- 12:31Speaker 2: to me. I have never seen I didn't know that
- 12:35Speaker 2: many men were cowards that to know a man is
- 12:40Speaker 2: doing something wrong and then to validate it, knowing in
- 12:45Speaker 2: your heart that is wrong. Yeah, that part, Yeah, that
- 12:49Speaker 2: is cowardice. You mean to tell me, no one will
- 12:53Speaker 2: stand up? And yeah, no one even I'm talking about
- 13:00Speaker 2: in both parties, because what has happened is we don't
- 13:04Speaker 2: even the Democrats don't even have a response for.
- 13:07Speaker 1: This except boo, look what he doing? This ain't right?
- 13:12Speaker 2: What y'all ain't y'all got to think of something boo
- 13:16Speaker 2: and this ain't right, is not working because he don't
- 13:19Speaker 2: care that you don't think it's right. They're doing it anyway.
- 13:23Speaker 2: How did you even how is it allowed that you
- 13:26Speaker 2: can put a person in like Elon Musk who had
- 13:29Speaker 2: nothing to do with the political party, and how he
- 13:33Speaker 2: just brought his way in?
- 13:34Speaker 8: Yeah, okay, all right, thank you guys. Coming up at
- 13:37Speaker 8: thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll run that brank
- 13:40Speaker 8: back with the f you right after this.

- 14:49Speaker 9: school with your son.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Now yeah.
- 14:52Speaker 9: Uh he went to a birthday party that your son
- 14:55Speaker 9: had last weekend.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Am I right?
- 14:57Speaker 11: Yeah?

- 15:36Speaker 12: what when your taw boat? Oh you mean, oh you

- 15:40Speaker 12: a problem with me.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I got a problem.
- 15:42Speaker 9: I got a problem with any parents who decides on
- 15:47Speaker 9: their own that somebody else's child it's okay to feed
- 15:51Speaker 9: them some curry goat. My child don't eat no goat.
- 15:54Speaker 9: We eat chicken, we eat steak, we eat cow. We
- 15:57Speaker 9: don't eat curry goat.
- 16:00Speaker 12: Yo, he says, A birthday a party door Man, he
- 16:04Speaker 12: means that birthday party. I want you might if you
- 16:08Speaker 12: would have told me I deal with something too, so
- 16:10Speaker 12: some root more call me when you're when you're undying
- 16:14Speaker 12: of a rumble me in a red dren because you
- 16:18Speaker 12: don't know who we are dealing.
- 16:19Speaker 9: With and know Okay, I need you to slow it
- 16:22Speaker 9: down for me. Man, I understand that nothing you're saying.
- 16:24Speaker 5: You can't tell me for slow.

- 16:28Speaker 12: slow on a mighty four in your car up.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Look, man, all I'm saying is this.
- 16:34Speaker 9: This is disrespectful to the child, to people's parents. You're
- 16:37Speaker 9: going out on your own liberty deciding on what you're
- 16:40Speaker 9: gonna feed somebody. You gotta feed them normal stuff. You
- 16:43Speaker 9: can't do that kid birthday parties Here in the States, Man,

- 17:42Speaker 13: Can you know what you know?
- 17:43Speaker 2: What?
- 17:44Speaker 1: Can you mind?
- 17:47Speaker 13: The spring up?
- 17:48Speaker 14: No help?
- 17:48Speaker 1: Are you? You want to meet me somewhere? Is that
- 17:51Speaker 1: what you want to do?

- 32:02Speaker 8: formerly of in Vogue iconic group in Vogue, confess that
- 32:07Speaker 8: she's been living in her car since twenty twenty two.
- 32:10Speaker 8: For three years, she's been living in her car. She

- 32:15Speaker 8: and that didn't work out and living with her manager
- 32:18Speaker 8: was no longer an option.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Don did a video on YouTube.
- 32:22Speaker 8: She detailed how she researched quote car life and the
- 32:25Speaker 8: community of people that choose to live in their vehicles,
- 32:28Speaker 8: and she thought, wow, I could do this. Don went
- 32:33Speaker 8: on to say, I felt free, I felt like I
- 32:35Speaker 8: was on a camping trip. It just felt like it
- 32:38Speaker 8: was the right thing to do. Yeah, she this is
- 32:41Speaker 8: down from in Vogue.
- 32:43Speaker 1: She could have called me, I damn VideA.

- 33:17Speaker 2: get a phone, and she can get an eye viewership
- 33:20Speaker 2: on the iPad or whatever. Living in your car, man,

- 33:25Speaker 2: think it is, especially for a woman.
- 33:27Speaker 8: Man.
- 33:28Speaker 1: See, I could use it.
- 33:29Speaker 2: I had a lot of options for using the bathroom.

- 33:51Speaker 1: It's a whole community.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Just listen to me, man, You know what we learn

- 34:39Speaker 16: are still in it. Yeah yeah, yeah, but we saw him.
- 34:44Speaker 16: Cindy was you know, the tall one.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Yeah, got to hold on. Yeah, why you take a
- 34:50Speaker 1: sip of coffee to shout out to Terry.

- 48:47Speaker 15: It is they go over these eggs countless some of
- 48:50Speaker 15: the times.
- 48:51Speaker 11: And the temperature and the phraser.
- 48:53Speaker 10: First of all, wouldn't even allow for a chicken to
- 48:56Speaker 10: be alive if you had a baby.
- 48:58Speaker 5: I don't know idea this one. I don't know how
- 49:02Speaker 5: this one got tasked the system, Okay, But what I

- 49:54Speaker 14: of all, you can't have.
- 49:55Speaker 15: A baby chick living in a dozen adds.
- 49:59Speaker 10: There's no a way that this the temperature and my

- 51:12Speaker 15: be possible.
- 51:13Speaker 10: I just I don't understand how you would have a chick.
- 51:17Speaker 5: Let just leave them over there, don't touch the chicken.
- 51:21Speaker 14: I just don't believe that this could possibly be happy.

- 56:25Speaker 8: My husband and side dude are besties right there, all
- 56:29Speaker 8: right here, Stephen Shirley. I've been married for almost five years.
- 56:34Speaker 8: I love my husband, but I don't like him. He
- 56:37Speaker 8: showed me the best of him while we were dating,
- 56:40Speaker 8: and when I married him, he flipped the script and
- 56:43Speaker 8: told me about his son that was born right after
- 56:46Speaker 8: we met. I didn't find out until we were talking
- 56:49Speaker 8: about baby names and he said I couldn't name my
- 56:52Speaker 8: first child after him because he already has a son
- 56:55Speaker 8: named after him. I checked out mentally after I met
- 56:58Speaker 8: the child and talked to a child's mom and she
- 57:01Speaker 8: told me that they continued to mess around until he
- 57:03Speaker 8: and I got married. I was mad and ignored him
- 57:07Speaker 8: for four months. Then I met a man at a
- 57:09Speaker 8: club and he's a drummer. He lives in Alabama, but
- 57:13Speaker 8: he's in my city often for gigs. We talked NonStop
- 57:17Speaker 8: for about two weeks, and then he came back to
- 57:19Speaker 8: see me. That's when our affairs started. We are three
- 57:23Speaker 8: months into the affair and I just found out that
- 57:25Speaker 8: my husband and my side dude are best buds. Here's
- 57:29Speaker 8: what happened. My husband texted me two weeks ago and
- 57:32Speaker 8: asked me to meet him at the lounge after work
- 57:35Speaker 8: so we could talk and try to get our marriage
- 57:37Speaker 8: back on track. I went, even though I'm happier with
- 57:41Speaker 8: my side dude. I met my husband at the lounge
- 57:44Speaker 8: and I found out that my side dude's band was
- 57:46Speaker 8: playing there. My knees got weak. My husband motioned for
- 57:50Speaker 8: side Dude to come over after their set. He introduced
- 57:54Speaker 8: side dude as one of his best friends from childhood.
- 57:58Speaker 8: I shook side dudes hand and he smirked. I stayed
- 58:01Speaker 8: for thirty minutes and then pretended to have a headache
- 58:04Speaker 8: so I could go home. Since that night, my side
- 58:07Speaker 8: dude said he wants to continue our affair. He said
- 58:11Speaker 8: he figured out a long time ago who I'm married to.
- 58:14Speaker 8: I feel so dirty. We cannot do my husband like
- 58:18Speaker 8: this or can we? Well interesting, Well, the answer to
- 58:23Speaker 8: that is you've already been doing your husband like this,
- 58:26Speaker 8: I mean for three months. The only difference is that
- 58:29Speaker 8: you didn't know who the guy really was. Your side dude.
- 58:33Speaker 8: Everyone in this letter, everyone in this letter is wrong.
- 58:36Speaker 8: I know you were heard about your husband's affair and
- 58:39Speaker 8: the baby and all of that, and rightfully so he
- 58:41Speaker 8: took your options away with you know, with not telling you.
- 58:44Speaker 8: If you knew about the baby beforehand, you might not
- 58:47Speaker 8: have married him a brand new baby. That is not
- 58:50Speaker 8: something you sweep under the rug or anything like that.
- 58:53Speaker 8: This is something you need to know. Side dude knew
- 58:57Speaker 8: who you were for a long time and didn't tell you.
- 59:00Speaker 8: He definitely is no friend of your husband. You would
- 59:04Speaker 8: think the side dude would want to stop now that
- 59:06Speaker 8: you know he's supposedly a good friend of your husband,
- 59:09Speaker 8: but no, he still wants the affair. What a dangerous
- 59:14Speaker 8: game you guys are playing. I mean, now your husband
- 59:17Speaker 8: wants to work it out, but are you willing to
- 59:21Speaker 8: give up your side?
- 59:22Speaker 1: Dude?
- 59:23Speaker 8: Accept the baby and forgive your husband for not telling
- 59:26Speaker 8: you about his baby that he got with a woman
- 59:29Speaker 8: he was sleeping with right up until the time you
- 59:31Speaker 8: guys got married. Okay, that's what it's going to take
- 59:35Speaker 8: for you to save this marriage if you want to
- 59:37Speaker 8: save this marriage. But I don't know if you do
- 59:40Speaker 8: because you don't want to really give up your side dude.
- 59:42Speaker 8: I mean, this is a real life soap opera here
- 59:44Speaker 8: with no clear winners. Steve.
- 59:47Speaker 3: Uh.
- 59:49Speaker 2: This letter is entitled my husband's side dude of besties.
- 59:54Speaker 2: The title of this letter should be I'm trifling? What
- 59:57Speaker 2: can I do about I'm trifling? What can I do
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: about it?
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I like it?
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: Uh, You've been married almost five years. I love my husband,
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: but I don't like him. That's very important, man. You
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: know Tina Turner said it best. Whoa What's love got?
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: To do. Got to do with it, because if you
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: don't like the person, love can make you stay.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: But if you don't like him, it causes you to play. Wow.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: That's a fact of marriage or any other relationship. And
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: you said he showed you the best when y'all was dating,
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: and then when you got.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Married, he flipped the script.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: And you didn't know until y'all you got pregnant because
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: he had a son. Well he flipped the script because
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: and told you about his son that was born right
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: after we met. I didn't find out until we were
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: talking about baby names, and he said I couldn't name
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: my first child after him because he already got a son.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Named after him. Well that didn't stop George for me,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: So why stop? He's got four named Georgie. Right, it's
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: five people.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that that's easy on the woman When she said George,
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: did everybody come?
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: I like it?
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: I checked out mentally after I met the child and
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: I talked to the child's mom and she told me
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: that they continued to mess around until I got married.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: I was mad, ignored him for most Then I met
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: a man at a club and he's a drummer. He
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: lives in Alabama, but he's in my city often for gigs.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: We talked non stop for about two weeks and he
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: came back to see me. That's when our affair started.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: This as a.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Whole new meaning to get a drama song. You in
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: a band and he holler like that jet a drama song.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: He was not talking to you, lady. That was for
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: him to play a solo. I am no, he sposed
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: to play the solo. You ain't both not you. We
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: three months into the fair and I just find out
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: that my husband and side dudes are best friends. Here's
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: what happened. Now when we come back, I'll walk you
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: through it, and this is what happened, and I'll tell
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: you this all.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Right, Steve.
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:02:39Speaker 8: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters subject
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: my husband and side dude our besties. All right, we'll
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: Hardy Morning Show. This message is brought to you by Pfizer.
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: If you're fifty years older, getting sick can keep you
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: away from where you need to be. You don't want
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: surprises like new micaco pneumonia or invasive new macaccle disease.
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: You're six point four times more likely to get new
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: micacle pneumonia compared with adults eighteen to forty nine. It's
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: recommended that people fifty or older get vaccinated. Being sick
- 1:03:18Speaker 8: could get between you and the people who rely on you,
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: So schedule your shot at vaxcist dot com. All right,
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:03:29Speaker 8: is my husband and side dude are best ees.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Well, let me married a dude. She loves him, but
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: she don't like him. She saw the best of him
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: when they was dating. Then when they got married, he
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: flipped the script because he found out that after they
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: got married there was a baby that was born right
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: after they met. He never told them about it until
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: they were discussing baby names, and she suggested his name
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: and he said, I can't because I already got a
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: son named after me. She was confused and hurt. Yeah,
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: then she met the baby and the mama, and as
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: they talked about it, she found out that they had
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: continued to see each other right up until they was married.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: So now she was through with ther husband at least
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: she checked out. And then she met a man at
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: a club and he is a drummer. He lives in Alabama,
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: but he's in the city off the time, playing gigs
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: and all like that. And they started talking and then
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: after about three months they start. They start non stop
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: for two weeks, and then he came back to see me,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: and that's when our affairs started. And that's where the
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: term get a drama some takes on a whole new
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: meaning because when the lead was out there saying he
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: said get a drama some, she thought he was talking
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: to her. It was actually for a solo. Now, then
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: you found out three months into the relationship that your
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: side dude and your husband is best friends.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Here's what happened.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: The husband texted her a couple of weeks ago said
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: to meet him at the line so they could talk
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: about getting their marriage on track. I went, even though
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: I'm happy with my side dude. And then when you
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: got there, she found out that side Dude's band was playing.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Now my knees got weak.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: My husband motioned to the side dude to come over
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: after his set. He introduced his side dudes as one
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: of his best friends from childhood. I shook side Dude's
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: hand and he smirked. I stayed for thirty minutes and
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: pretended to have a headache so I could go home.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: Since that night, my side dude said he wants to
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: continue our fair He said he figured out a long
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: time ago who I'm married to.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: I feel so dirty. We cannot do my husband like this?
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Or can we? Well, when did you decide not.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: To do your husband like that?
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Yeah, now you say you feel so dirty because he
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: know the dude, but you wasn't feeling dirty before that.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Hmmm. When she says can we do my husband like this?
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Or can we that? Or can we means it's going
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: to continue. Yeah right, that's right, Steve.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: Now here, what's gonna happen Eventually, as stupid as me
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: and all, he gonna figure it out because we're dumb.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Now, yeah about his wife and his best friend.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Yeah, we dumb now. But when we do find out,
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: it's gonna get physical. It's going to get physical.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Yeah, oh yeah, that's gonna happen because everybody gonna get
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: a druma.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: So then.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: The next time he motioned for side dude to come
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: over to the table.
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: Mm hmm, he.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Gonna whoop his ass with that table? Yes, is going
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: to lead to a problem, ma'am.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: I pushed them drumstick, and then they're gonna have to
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: get some forceps that they're using.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: To go get them sticks. You're doing the most right now.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: But then ain't nobody gonna play with them sticks no more?
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: Because they don't know what them sticks was. I don't
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: care how good, how hard you wish, I don't care
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: how hard you washed them wooden drumsticks.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Never and beyond that thing.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: So once again we have another letter here of a
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: person who's writing in something and wanted to be a norm.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Now, this ain't as bad as.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: No, it's not some of the others, because these are
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: all consensual relationships, right, and nobody knows who the other
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: person is. That's the main thing of and a fair
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: is to main keep the information from the other person.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: But when the other two but two of the people
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: in there, well, see here's the problem with this triangle.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: This triangle has two of the people are married, yeah,
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: and two of the people are best for his sister child.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Now there's no way to keep that away. How can you?
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: And what was you thinking when he called side piece
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: over there?
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: She said her knees got weak? Oh, she had to
- 1:08:32Speaker 8: take a fen a headache. Oh, she had to get
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: out of there, she really did.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I would.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: I wouldn't have shipped the side piece's head. If I
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: was married and my side piece came over to the table,
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: I faint right away. I get medical attention. I'm in
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: the Yeah, I'm in the ambulance. I'm going to emergency.
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: But Steve, what about what about the best friend? When
- 1:08:54Speaker 8: he finally met the woman in front of her husband,
- 1:08:57Speaker 8: he smirked.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: He smirked. You know what was the smirk about?
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Well, you know, it was like, hey, nice to meet you.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: But h she did, I've been waxing. Yeah, I'll disrespectful,
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: your lord, I've been waxing. Yeah, you've been buffing me.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: So now, Yeah, and I figured out a little while ago,
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: your husband, but I kept on coming back.
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: Yes he wants to continue the affair. Yeah, yeah, all right.

- 1:10:49Speaker 1: the Rams cut Cooper Cup the wide receiver.
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: They cut him.
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: So hopefully the Texans can pick him up because we
- 1:10:55Speaker 7: could use a wide receiver. We can really use a
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: Pro Bowl wide receiver like Cooper.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Yeah, why he can't? You always kill our dream? Why
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: he can't? I try to as often as I can. J.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I don't know if you've noticed it or not.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: We can't. Yeah, all our wild receivers end up hurt.
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: We need one.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Well, they know he not going. You know why I couldn't.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: Can't about no ROADEU. You ain't got no other sports?
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: I got something to do with other than host? Can
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: we do any other sports? Other news? I don't like
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: you little prejudice ass up no sports.
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: It's not that I'm just saying, we keep trading away
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: lineman in Houston. Forget what are we doing trading with
- 1:11:38Speaker 7: another line into Philly? Now we got another lineman going
- 1:11:41Speaker 7: down and he's going to Philly.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: We got rid of k Why don't you just do
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: the Houston report? And I'm gonna get you what happens?
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: What are we all off and everything changing?
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: Help?
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: What we got us to say? You're not gonna get
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: all these dreams from field?
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: And here's your.
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: Y'all ain't got no quarterback.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Y'all ain't got one.
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: Now here's your options though you got yeah, here, y'all,
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: here's what y'all got. Because Russell Wilson met with Russell Wilson,
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: he met with the Browns. Okay, y'all like him because
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: you got Kenny Pickett right now?
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Do you do you like Russell Wilson? His wife don't
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: like Cleveland?
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Keep going.
- 1:12:18Speaker 7: You got Kirk Cousins could possibly be the quarterback Cleveland Brown.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: Do you like Kirk Cousins? Y'all like him? Do we
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: have the money for Kirk Cousins? Because we done paid that?
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: All this is with this attitude, he's just mad. What
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: about Aaron Rodgers? No, because he's only one season? But
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: what if you win? What if he takes? Yeh? Super Bowls?
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Got a girl? Guy, we ain't never been take the
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: super Bowl? You think takes.
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: A takeall?
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: If you give us Josh Allen like I told them to,
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: we had the number one and the number three pick.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: I said, take sa Kwan Barkley at number one. Everybody else,
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: who's gonna pick somebody else at number two? Because they
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: took that boy out of Ohio State, the great tackle,
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: and then we could have took Josh Allen because he
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: played in cold Weather in Cleveland. Cole I told them that,
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: all right, they didn't get kwan On here, we got
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: Baker Mayfield and Johnny Man says.
- 1:13:24Speaker 8: Oh, just your attitude, all right, sir, thank you. Jes
- 1:13:28Speaker 8: coming up at the top of the hour, wife needs
- 1:13:31Speaker 8: some advice. She is tired of her husband complaining. We'll
- 1:13:34Speaker 8: get into it right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, this is from
- 1:13:40Speaker 8: Suana and Dayton Shawana says, I tuned my husband out
- 1:13:45Speaker 8: when he comes home and complains about his job. He said,
- 1:13:48Speaker 8: I don't understand how hard it is for a black
- 1:13:51Speaker 8: man to work in an all white environment. I don't
- 1:13:54Speaker 8: understand how a black man can be pushed around all
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: day and not say anything about it to the people
- 1:13:59Speaker 8: that are doing it. I have told him over and
- 1:14:02Speaker 8: over to go find a better job. He said, it's
- 1:14:05Speaker 8: not that easy. Well, what's so hard about that?
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: What's so hard about finding another job that's gonna pay
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: you and get the benefits with the one you got?
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: What's so hard about getting another job when everybody in
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: America is getting fired right now? What's so hard about
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: getting another job, because he's still gonna be a black
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: man on that job too. The fact that you are
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: not sympathetic to your man, that you can't understand his
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: cry for help. He coming home to get recharged and
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: rejuvenated by the one person who can do it for him,
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: that will give him the stript and fortitude to go
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: back out here and deal with these folks on another day.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: But oh no, you don't want to do that. Right there,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: you tune him out.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: See, since this man, some of y'all don't understand now,
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: and then stop making it a compassion.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: He ain't saying your life easy. He's just saying, here
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: is is hard?
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: He trying to talk to somebody when you get a
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: cused black man, get accused because we don't. We don't communicate.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: Then when he come home and he complaining about his
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: job and how hard it is, and he's telling you
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: you don't understand, and you steady ain't trying to understand.
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: She said she tried over and over to tell him
- 1:15:15Speaker 8: to get a better job. What's so hard about that?
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: That's what? Did I just tell you? What's so hard?
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Get another job? Where at his age of the yea,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: she doesn't get it. She really does. That's when they
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: need support more than anything goes.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: Most men leave this world underappreciate and die from lack
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: of support and underappreciation being underappreciated. And I know a
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: lot of men suffering from that. Right now, I know
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: exactly how that feels. Hey to hello, Hello, my hand
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: is up.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: This is a moment mine. I feel what. Yeah, well,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: we appreciate you, guys. You know that, right, We appreciate example,

- 1:16:20Speaker 7: and give me the apple pie and some ice cream?
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: She said, you was just down there.
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: I don't see anything wrong with what she said.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: You can walk down there.
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: Ha ha.
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: What what did you want her to say, Junior?

- 1:16:41Speaker 16: say whatever you like? Ain't nobody.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: But let me ask you something. Ladies.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: If you tell me your husband, can you go downstairs
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: and give me some pie some ice cream?
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: You know what he gonna do?
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: Yeah, of course, yeah, always, thank you.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: That's very nice. So why so why you can't get
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: some pants?

- 1:17:21Speaker 8: Madeleine says, I'm a fifty six year old single woman.
- 1:17:24Speaker 8: I've been engaged three times. Each time my relationships ended
- 1:17:27Speaker 8: while we were doing our pre marital counseling. My parents
- 1:17:31Speaker 8: called me Sunday and said that maybe I need to
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: go see a counselor on my own. Are they trying
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: to say that I might be the problem?
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: It's not me.
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: I just keep picking the wrong type of man. How
- 1:17:42Speaker 8: could my parents even suggest that to me?
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: To me, come on, I hear all the time from women.
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: How men ain't sugar honey iced tea. Three times you
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: got down to the point of no return, and three
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: times they've all turned around.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: It could be you, she says, is not her and
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: I believe her and you believe her.
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: Uh, counseling three times three different means.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: She just picks. What is she saying in the counciling?

- 1:18:26Speaker 1: All right, guys.
- 1:18:27Speaker 8: So Southwest Airlines is back in the news again. They've
- 1:18:30Speaker 8: disappointed a lot of its loyal customers with the announcement
- 1:18:34Speaker 8: that Southwest will begin charging for checked bags starting May
- 1:18:38Speaker 8: twenty eight.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Southwest yeah, checked bags. Yeah.
- 1:18:42Speaker 8: Southwest has always been attractive to travelers because of its
- 1:18:46Speaker 8: two bags fly free policy, but the airline CEO cited
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: increased pressure from activist investors and a shift in its
- 1:18:55Speaker 8: business model as the reason for declining to charge.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: Decide hm oh rich people, yeah, yea yeah yeah.
- 1:19:03Speaker 8: Yeah yah yeah yeah, as a reason for deciding to
- 1:19:07Speaker 8: charge for luggage.

- 1:19:10Speaker 2: Do you know who has to pay the charge? Regular people?

- 1:26:01Speaker 9: If you're guess what Friday night, it's I can't do
- 1:26:05Speaker 9: nothing for you, Okay, Sun Sunday, got a few tickets left,
- 1:26:09Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: I appreciate all.
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna pass it from one Sexy to the US,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: Just in in closing, I wanted to touch on something
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: that touched on earlier today in one of the questions
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: that came in, and it was just about appreciation and
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: how this woman just was upset with her husband because
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: he comes in and he complains about his job, and
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: he wanted her to acknowledge that and he wanted her
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: to understand how hard he was working, and he wanted
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: he he was talking about how hard it is for
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: a black man out here to work in the atmosphere
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: that we have to work in. It's not saying that
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: black women don't work in the same atmosphere. There is
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: a difference between the two. And she says, well, I've
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: been I tune him out, but I've been imploring him
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: to just go get another job. Why don't he do that? Well,
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: it's not that easy out there to just go get
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: another job with the benefits, with the seniority, with the
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: same amount of pay. You know, he may be at
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: an age where they don't hire people of his age anymore,
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: forties and stuff like that. So it's a lot to consider.
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: But let's not overlook the basic problem that his brother
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: had when he wanted. All he wanted from his woman
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: was to validate him. All he wanted was appreciation. And
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: I'm going to say something. I'm speaking for all men
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: right now. Most men leave this world underappreciated. All of
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: my true friends are my age. They all feel this way.
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: They all have felt this. Just being a man, a husband,
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: and a father is really really a thankless job. It's
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: really really tough man. And I'm not saying it's not
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: tough for women, because it is. Let's just look at
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: let's take for example, Mother's Day versus Father's Day. That
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: right there shows you the level and the effort that
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: men boys have to put forth to show their appreciation
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: for their mothers, and as they should. It is a
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: well deserved title. You only get one mama, and I
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: understand it, But fathers don't get that same type of recognition. Now,
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: is it because you think we mean and were supposed
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: to be tough and we're supposed to just suck it
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: up and deal with it because that's what we do
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: every day. But don't you know how much it would
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: mean to your man if you just appreciated him, if
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: you showed it to him, if you told it to him.
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: You know how much it would mean to your man
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: if you would talk to your kids and say, go
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: on down and tell your father thank you, because that
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: man bring it in here every day and he just
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: show up sick, well off, whatever, and he keep putting
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: it in.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: Do you know what that would mean to that man?
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: Do you know how many times you are your man
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: has had to help your family, or your man has
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: had to help some other people, and it goes without
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: thanks and appreciation, and it wears on a man. The
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: sad thing about being a man is we don't really
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: get You don't really know how value you are and
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: how much you appreciate it until you gone, and we
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: got to stop that.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: I just think we have to stop that now.
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: I'm speaking up on behalf of men because I've been
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: in that position many times where I just felt unappreciated.
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: I have, and you can look at what I have
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: and think that ought to fix it and compensate for it,
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: but it don't because there's nothing like appreciation.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you.
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: This again, ladies, most men leave this world feeling underappreciated.
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: And you just don't know what it would mean to
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: him if everybody gathered around him and just told him
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: thank you, if it just did some kind for the man,
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: if you just had your have your damn kids call
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: they dad every now and say hey, man Loo, I
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: know you don't have to do what you're doing, but
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: I show appreciate it. I'm talking from experience too, but
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: I'm talking because I know all of my friends feel
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: the exact same way. I could tell you right now
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: on this show that Junior and Tommy feel the exact
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: same way.
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: They just do.
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: Man, but it don't look good when we complain about it,
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: because just like the lady said in the letter, I've
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: tuned him out. Wow, don't he just go get another job,
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: because you don't know what it's like, because you don't understand,
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: as a black man, what this is to go out
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: there in this world afterday and to bite your tongue
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: and deal with the things you deal with, and then
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: to come home and not get no reinforcement, not have
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: a place to get our battery recharged. And then we
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: got to turn around and go right back out there
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: again and produce again and bring that check home again.
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: And ain't nobody clapping for us, Ain't nobody cheering us home,
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: and ain't nobody appreciating us? And that's gonna get old. Ladies,
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: do your man of faith, gather everybody up that's ever
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: he's ever done something for and tail them to appreciate
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: your fail. Even if you do tell everybody else get
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: any it would mean a lot to those are my
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: clothing remarks today.
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: Have a great day to y'all.
