- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time, y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like theming bu bu things and it's not good.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Stea to mother, stay, don't joy. You gotta use that turn.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: them out. Then the water the water come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your baby. Uh huh. I show will come on, and
- 2:04Speaker 1: everybody you are listening to the voice, come on, dig
- 2:08Speaker 1: me down one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well, okay,
- 2:15Speaker 1: here we go. You know what's important, what's what can
- 2:20Speaker 1: be a huge part of your success is if you
- 2:25Speaker 1: if you find a balance, if you find a balance
- 2:30Speaker 1: in your life. That's that's been very important for me.
- 2:34Speaker 1: And I've really never phrased it this way until now,
- 2:38Speaker 1: but I was kind of thinking about it after my
- 2:40Speaker 1: wife and I mean, we set up one night recently. Man.
- 2:44Speaker 1: You know, I often come on here and this is
- 2:46Speaker 1: kind of an inspirational moment of the show, and I
- 2:49Speaker 1: try to remind people about that most important relationship between
- 2:53Speaker 1: you and God. And that's that's the apex of it.
- 2:57Speaker 1: That's that's the that's the top of the crown. You
- 3:00Speaker 1: gotta form the relationship with God. If you don't, everything
- 3:03Speaker 1: else struggles. It's hard to be a good husband without God.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It's hard to be a good family man without God.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It's hard to be successful without God. Man, it's hard
- 3:12Speaker 1: to be hard to get through this thing called life
- 3:14Speaker 1: without God. So that's clear. But at the same time,
- 3:20Speaker 1: you can't talk about God twenty four seven. You got
- 3:23Speaker 1: to go to work. Come on, man, let's just be real.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I ain't I ain't your past, and I ain't at
- 3:27Speaker 1: your church. But let's just be real about it. You know,
- 3:31Speaker 1: if people tell you got to keep your mind stayed
- 3:33Speaker 1: on Him and all like that, that's that's a true statement.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Got to keep your mind stayed in that area. I
- 3:38Speaker 1: don't not here to tell you how to live, but
- 3:40Speaker 1: you got to keep your mind stayed in that area
- 3:42Speaker 1: of God, of doing the right thing, caring about people.
- 3:45Speaker 1: That's what I took it as. Now I could be wrong.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I apologize if I'm not saying that the way you've
- 3:49Speaker 1: been taught. I can only do me now. But after that,
- 3:53Speaker 1: you got to go to work. You gotta have some fun.
- 3:57Speaker 1: You gotta take care of your business. And that's the
- 4:00Speaker 1: balance you have to find so it. Once you focus
- 4:05Speaker 1: on showing up your relationship with God, you got you
- 4:09Speaker 1: gotta balance this now. Now you got to allocate some
- 4:14Speaker 1: time I don't care who you are, for your family.
- 4:17Speaker 1: If you're gonna have a family, you got to allocate
- 4:20Speaker 1: some time for them. See, we can't just marry these
- 4:23Speaker 1: women or make these kids and then neglect them and fellas,
- 4:29Speaker 1: especially if I'm talking to me about him, Ladies, you
- 4:31Speaker 1: can listen to but listen. If you find yourself struggling
- 4:34Speaker 1: in your life, man, and you can't seem to get
- 4:37Speaker 1: it together, let's just go over a couple of things.
- 4:39Speaker 1: The first two things, if you find yourself struggling, you
- 4:43Speaker 1: can't seem to pull it together and reach your goals
- 4:45Speaker 1: and get to where you want to go, Let's just
- 4:48Speaker 1: do a check how is your relationship with God? And
- 4:53Speaker 1: then next how much time are you taking to allocate
- 4:57Speaker 1: for your family? Now, your family don't always live in
- 5:02Speaker 1: your house, but if you made them, they yours and
- 5:06Speaker 1: the responsibility to them is never lessing because you don't
- 5:09Speaker 1: stay that no more. Because you and the girl broke up,
- 5:13Speaker 1: you and the woman don't speak a man that don't
- 5:15Speaker 1: ever release you from the obligation. Feel me when I'm
- 5:19Speaker 1: telling you this now, because I'm not telling you something
- 5:22Speaker 1: I'm wondering about. I've had to live through them years.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So two things you can start looking at. If you're
- 5:29Speaker 1: not where you want to be, and you ain't, you
- 5:31Speaker 1: ain't really solid. You can't figure out why you keep
- 5:33Speaker 1: spending your wills. Have you just done a random inventory? Man?
- 5:36Speaker 1: Have you just checked on your relationship with God? Have
- 5:39Speaker 1: you checked on the time you spending dedicated towards your family,
- 5:43Speaker 1: your children that you've created? If them two things is
- 5:46Speaker 1: out of saint man, that I can tell you right now,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you can go on and get to explain in yourself
- 5:51Speaker 1: away just like that. A man, how come you ain't
- 5:54Speaker 1: where you want to be? Mancuf man, I really ain't.
- 5:58Speaker 1: But if you really ain't, then you really ain't. The
- 6:00Speaker 1: third thing is you got to allocate the necessary time
- 6:04Speaker 1: for your business. You got to handle your business. All
- 6:10Speaker 1: of this, man, is the way it works, and the
- 6:15Speaker 1: order the order is God first, family second. Then you
- 6:23Speaker 1: got to handle all your business but as men, and
- 6:26Speaker 1: this is what we do. If I don't handle my business,
- 6:29Speaker 1: I can't take care of my family. True statement. But
- 6:33Speaker 1: if your business is in front of your family. You
- 6:36Speaker 1: out of order. Nah, that's all we're talking about now,
- 6:39Speaker 1: ain't it. See, that's that's all we really saying here now,
- 6:41Speaker 1: fellas you know, you know, I mean, I mean, come on, man,
- 6:44Speaker 1: you know, let's let's have a real conversation about being better.
- 6:48Speaker 1: You know, if you have created these children, you got
- 6:50Speaker 1: to handle your business. You may not like the girl
- 6:54Speaker 1: no more. You and the woman might have broken up,
- 6:56Speaker 1: y'all might go your own way, But what that got
- 6:57Speaker 1: to do with the child though? Man, you got to
- 7:00Speaker 1: under your business. They got to know who daddy is.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That's your obligation, man, And God ain't letting you off
- 7:04Speaker 1: the hook for that. Try it. Go ahead and try it,
- 7:08Speaker 1: and thank you. Gonna get off the hook with that
- 7:10Speaker 1: because you're not man, You just not. I'm sorry, man,
- 7:16Speaker 1: dog Steve, Why are you coming like that? Because I
- 7:19Speaker 1: did it like that. I did it, man. I was
- 7:22Speaker 1: over here trying to reshape my life, getting myself up
- 7:24Speaker 1: on my feet when I was a homeless man and
- 7:26Speaker 1: trying to come back. Man, I thought I had to
- 7:29Speaker 1: take care of me first and then so I can
- 7:30Speaker 1: neglect it. Care about them kids, man, That ain't high work. Man.
- 7:34Speaker 1: God keepers knee on my neck for a long time
- 7:37Speaker 1: for that one right there, until I finally learned the
- 7:39Speaker 1: lesson hold up man, put these phone calls in, Go
- 7:43Speaker 1: spend some time, do something, And then it started turning
- 7:47Speaker 1: around for me. You know, I can't beat there all
- 7:50Speaker 1: the time because I am out here on the ground
- 7:52Speaker 1: in the hustle. But at the same time, Man, some
- 7:54Speaker 1: more phone calls, some more letters, somemo, haaha, he he's something.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Then take care of your business. Man. You got to
- 8:03Speaker 1: work hard to be successful. You know. Sometimes I don't
- 8:07Speaker 1: put that in there. I just live in and I
- 8:08Speaker 1: expect my sons to emulate that. But I gotta talk
- 8:11Speaker 1: to him all the time. How hard you got to
- 8:13Speaker 1: work to be something. It's all out of salt on it. Man.
- 8:17Speaker 1: If you gotta target in mind, you gotta go. You
- 8:20Speaker 1: gotta wake up every day trying to get there. And
- 8:23Speaker 1: you can't get tired of it because it's it's it
- 8:28Speaker 1: never ends. You're gonna always be this way. That's how
- 8:31Speaker 1: life is designed and set up. You got to be
- 8:34Speaker 1: a hard worker. Man. If you're always looking for some
- 8:37Speaker 1: time to chill and man, I won't to go do it.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I want to do, you ain't gonna make it. In
- 8:43Speaker 1: order to be successful, you have to do a series
- 8:45Speaker 1: of things that you're uncomfortable doing, and work is the
- 8:48Speaker 1: thing that most of us are uncomfortable doing. It's so
- 8:52Speaker 1: much easier to chill, man. I wish I could kick
- 8:55Speaker 1: back with a cigar man all the time, but I can't, Man,
- 9:01Speaker 1: I can't because I got to work. Then the last
- 9:08Speaker 1: piece of the balance balance piece is you gotta take
- 9:11Speaker 1: some time out to enjoy yourself. But if you ain't
- 9:15Speaker 1: where you wanna be, you ain't got a lot of
- 9:18Speaker 1: time to enjoy yourself. Quit thinking, man, that this balance
- 9:22Speaker 1: is even. It's a whole lot of God, a whole
- 9:26Speaker 1: lot of family, a whole lot of business, and a
- 9:29Speaker 1: little bit of chilling. The chilling can't be equal to
- 9:33Speaker 1: the family, the business, or your God. If the chilling
- 9:37Speaker 1: is equal to any of them, you ain't gonna make it.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Quit chilling, man, and go to work like a man.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Do what you post to do. Work on your family,
- 9:46Speaker 1: work on your relationship, work on your God, work on
- 9:49Speaker 1: your business. And then when you chill, you might not
- 9:52Speaker 1: chill is long, but your show gonna chill bigger. You're
- 9:54Speaker 1: gonna ball bigger babies. You're listening at everybody? It is Thursday.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I know, I know I'm asking the same damn question.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Why am I here because he asked me to be here?
- 10:10Speaker 1: I know it's throwing me home too, but we're here.
- 10:14Speaker 1: We're gonna do I know, I know I hold all
- 10:17Speaker 1: your texas? Why is Jay here? Jay is here? But
- 10:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it because they asked me to be here.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Isn't that right? Sherley's trouble. I'm so confused? What is
- 10:25Speaker 1: to day? What's your day? Confused? I was like, did
- 10:30Speaker 1: he add another day? Is this? What day is this?
- 10:34Speaker 1: I'm so confused. But if we're glad to have you
- 10:36Speaker 1: when we can get you, Jay, thank you for stopping by?
- 10:39Speaker 1: Do this to me? Why do you do this to me?
- 10:41Speaker 1: You know I can't take it? What's going on? Calumb Rel?
- 10:44Speaker 1: How are you doing? Baby? What day is today? What
- 10:46Speaker 1: is today's day? It is throwback Thursday, throw back to
- 10:50Speaker 1: when you used to come to work? What's up? What's up?
- 10:55Speaker 1: What's up in my writing? Part of my main man?
- 10:58Speaker 1: My sick partner? What's up? Yeah? How you doing? Man?
- 11:02Speaker 1: I think are you sick? Are you here? Oh? Oh
- 11:09Speaker 1: my god? What is going on? This is messing me up.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I mean, I'm flustered. I'm flustered. The man, he's the
- 11:16Speaker 1: he's the game, the Franks, y'all. Maybe he can help
- 11:18Speaker 1: me out and figure out what dad is? What's up? Time? Time?
- 11:21Speaker 1: What's going on? Top? Top top? It is three piece Thursday,
- 11:24Speaker 1: That's what it is. Three piece thurs the leg and
- 11:27Speaker 1: two thighs and a biscuit three piece third. I don't
- 11:31Speaker 1: know if you know this, but the chicken wing is
- 11:33Speaker 1: the most celebrated part of the chicken. The wing. I've
- 11:38Speaker 1: done research on the timing, and it is the wing.
- 11:40Speaker 1: There's nothing. There's no place called Bill's drumstick there's no
- 11:45Speaker 1: place called there's no place called marriage thighs. There's no place.
- 11:50Speaker 1: It's wings and no, there's no Betti's breast. There's no there,
- 11:54Speaker 1: no breast. It is David's wings. It is three wings
- 11:58Speaker 1: in a and I sat it's the wing. Is the
- 12:01Speaker 1: most important part of the chicken. We know it. I've
- 12:05Speaker 1: done the research on it. I've done the research. Man
- 12:08Speaker 1: done it? What drumsticker? Flat? Which one? Oh? Man, I
- 12:12Speaker 1: gotta have bone in my meat, bone in my meat.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I can't stand flats. I don't like them at all.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Don't like but can't. If you can't stick that flat
- 12:27Speaker 1: in your mouth and pull it out naked, it's something
- 12:30Speaker 1: wrong you got in your mouth and pull it out naked.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Let's see. I hate that wing stops doesn't give you
- 12:37Speaker 1: that little tip. I want that little tip that goes
- 12:39Speaker 1: on the wing. And I think I'm paying too much
- 12:42Speaker 1: when I don't get it. That is a part of
- 12:43Speaker 1: the wing, Jodd. I just like it chicken. When I
- 12:55Speaker 1: was a kid. I like the legs. That's all I
- 12:57Speaker 1: like with the leg All right, Well, bitter Man is
- 13:01Speaker 1: here and coming up with thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:04Speaker 1: Ask bitter Man coming up next right after this. Oh lord,
- 13:09Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Jay,
- 13:13Speaker 1: come on bitter Man. A slight disclaimer, and then we're
- 13:16Speaker 1: gonna get into ask bitter Man. Um, I'm not here
- 13:18Speaker 1: to help you. Now. If you're listening and you've gathered
- 13:21Speaker 1: around the radio to get help, you're you're not gonna
- 13:29Speaker 1: get it. Okay, go ahead, Shelly, what you get? All right? Well,
- 13:32Speaker 1: thank you for that. All right. This one's from Cindy
- 13:35Speaker 1: and Detroit. Cindy says, I'm a single mother of two
- 13:37Speaker 1: teenage boys and I'm a massage therapist. I have a
- 13:40Speaker 1: massage table in my sunroom for my female clients only.
- 13:45Speaker 1: My son's track coach had a minor car wreck and
- 13:48Speaker 1: he asked me to loosen up his back for him.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I suggested that he made an appointment with me at
- 13:53Speaker 1: the spot where I worked full time. He begs to
- 13:57Speaker 1: come to my house instead. My son's shoke me about
- 14:01Speaker 1: their coach liking me. Uh, is this weird? And is
- 14:05Speaker 1: this his weird way of trying to get to me?
- 14:07Speaker 1: What do you think, good or man? Is what this is?
- 14:11Speaker 1: To get your son more playing time for whatever sport
- 14:14Speaker 1: he's in. And if you you're gonna be a selfish mom,
- 14:17Speaker 1: he's gonna it sounds like you're about to be a
- 14:19Speaker 1: selfish mom and not help your say in every damn game.
- 14:24Speaker 1: This is what this is about it and you need you.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I don't care what it is. It could be a
- 14:31Speaker 1: bowling of marvels. The boy needs time and you can
- 14:35Speaker 1: help this boy further his career. Bouy that massage in
- 14:38Speaker 1: that back room back then, we all is soft while
- 14:41Speaker 1: you're right? Okay, thank you, Jack, let's move on to
- 14:49Speaker 1: Loretta and I know. Loretta in Tennessee says, my husband
- 14:53Speaker 1: and I have been married for a very long time,
- 14:56Speaker 1: and a year ago he started sleeping in the other bedroom.
- 15:00Speaker 1: He didn't give an explanation, and I didn't ask for one. Lately,
- 15:04Speaker 1: he's been sliding into my bedroom late at night trying
- 15:07Speaker 1: to have sex. But I'm not having it. If you
- 15:10Speaker 1: don't lay with me, you can't play with me. Now
- 15:13Speaker 1: he's mad and he's threatened to cheat on me. Is
- 15:16Speaker 1: he having an old man crisis? Kind of like a
- 15:18Speaker 1: midlife crisis? What's what's going on? Man crisis? We're just
- 15:23Speaker 1: trying to put some spark into the relationship. You like
- 15:27Speaker 1: you on the other side of town. And he's sneaking
- 15:30Speaker 1: in the room and gets something. I mean, that's all
- 15:33Speaker 1: it is. Stop being like that. He's like, oh, you
- 15:37Speaker 1: a wig, he's nothing on the door. He's adding excitement
- 15:40Speaker 1: instead of just rolling over. He's sneaking in the room.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Gives who's in him? Yez, who's in him? Yis? Who
- 15:47Speaker 1: got the drolls off? You know he's playing. He's playing.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Get involved this excitement breaking? Can I say something? Yeah?
- 15:58Speaker 1: You can man? Yeah? Mark parents slept in different rooms.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Of course, we know they used to sleep in the
- 16:04Speaker 1: same room. Couldn't got all these kids. But I noticed
- 16:07Speaker 1: that when I was, you know, in college, you know,
- 16:09Speaker 1: maybe about my third or four of y'all still have
- 16:11Speaker 1: noticed that my daddy starting to sleep more in against room.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I was like, what is going on? Was there a
- 16:17Speaker 1: certain time? But now I'm fifty three, dude, you know,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I'm in my house looking for a different place to stay.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I am looking for a new room in my house.
- 16:25Speaker 1: It happens. Okay, There's some things that people, but people change.
- 16:30Speaker 1: There's some things you old woman do while she sleep.
- 16:32Speaker 1: That's a thing while you sleep. And you can't tolerating
- 16:34Speaker 1: no more. You can't guess you just want to sometimes
- 16:36Speaker 1: you just want to get up and go to another room.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Or where are you gonna? I'm just going to another
- 16:40Speaker 1: damn room. Why do we buy that room? Why do
- 16:43Speaker 1: we buy that room? Nobody else sits in here? Can
- 16:50Speaker 1: I just coming in and sit out every room? All right?
- 17:00Speaker 1: Zuri and Baton Rouge says, I'm a twenty seven year
- 17:03Speaker 1: old graduate student. I'm taking virtual classes this semester. My
- 17:07Speaker 1: graduate advisor is a very nice looking man, in his
- 17:10Speaker 1: early forties, and he knows I have a crush on him.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I thought the feeling was mutual because he offered to
- 17:16Speaker 1: drop off a book to me. When he got to
- 17:18Speaker 1: my apartment, I was wearing a pair of booty shorts
- 17:20Speaker 1: and a brawlet. He said, I was barely dressed, and
- 17:24Speaker 1: he left. Was he fighting temptation or is he not interested?
- 17:28Speaker 1: What's a brawlet, y'all? What is that? It's whole bra
- 17:34Speaker 1: It looks like a brad that you could wear outside. Basically,
- 17:38Speaker 1: you had that own and booty shorts and he didn't
- 17:39Speaker 1: want nothing. Yeah, but he knows it's a lot of
- 17:42Speaker 1: stuff going on where people are losing their damn jobs.
- 17:45Speaker 1: He don't want to be He about to make whatever,
- 17:47Speaker 1: ten year or whatever, so he wanted to keep his
- 17:50Speaker 1: job and knock over there and mess with you and
- 17:53Speaker 1: then mess up his goodass job. And you graduated. He
- 17:55Speaker 1: ain't got no damn job. He's like, hit a book.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I gotta go, here's your book, talk to you day,
- 18:00Speaker 1: to see you tomorrow. He ain't got time for that.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I understand what this man is going through. He needs
- 18:05Speaker 1: older woman so he can keep his damn job. Put
- 18:08Speaker 1: on your damn pants and his shirt and stop trying
- 18:11Speaker 1: to mess up this man's job, because that's what you're
- 18:12Speaker 1: trying to do with your fast ass. Sell with your
- 18:17Speaker 1: fast took that book at midnight, though, John different, Yeah,
- 18:24Speaker 1: on a silver platter. Though didn't wat man alone. Yes,
- 18:28Speaker 1: he wouldn't. Nigga WoT this is not right? Something there's
- 18:32Speaker 1: cameras in hand, something, something going on this book out
- 18:36Speaker 1: of all right? Ja, yeah it is. I can't believe
- 18:44Speaker 1: he helped someone, all right, Jonathan and Queen says, Uh,
- 18:49Speaker 1: I'm in my mid twenties and I share a house
- 18:51Speaker 1: with my cousin. I have nice shoes and designer clothes
- 18:55Speaker 1: that I save up to buy. My cousin into isn't
- 18:58Speaker 1: into shopping at all, so he usually asked to borrow
- 19:01Speaker 1: my clothes. I let him borrow my Ralph Lauren jacket
- 19:03Speaker 1: last weekend, and he returned it with foundation and lipstick
- 19:07Speaker 1: all over it. The cleaners couldn't get it all out,
- 19:10Speaker 1: so I asked him to give me the money for
- 19:12Speaker 1: a new jacket. He says, I'm not giving you anything.
- 19:15Speaker 1: End of discussion. Fighting him is not the answer. So
- 19:19Speaker 1: what do I do? You don't you don't you don't

- 23:26Speaker 1: And I tell you, man, I've been without my ring
- 23:28Speaker 1: and my wife is raising holy hell about it. Yeah,
- 23:31Speaker 1: but you know something, doctor, we got a problem with
- 23:34Speaker 1: What do you mean, I mean, I'm about to go
- 23:36Speaker 1: back to work. I really can't be going back into
- 23:39Speaker 1: the operated room for somebody to take a ring out
- 23:42Speaker 1: of me that they left, that they left. Bad mistake,
- 23:44Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Okay, I mean, you know,
- 23:48Speaker 1: I realize your wife might be upstad you need your ring,
- 23:51Speaker 1: But at this point, that ring's gonna have to stay
- 23:53Speaker 1: where it is for a while. So I can't I
- 23:55Speaker 1: run as We can't allow with that ring to stay
- 23:57Speaker 1: there another two or three days. I don't think you
- 23:59Speaker 1: understand exactly what I'm going through. There's no way I
- 24:01Speaker 1: can allow that. Yeah, I got to go back to work.
- 24:05Speaker 1: But you know something, I mean, you know, I mean,
- 24:07Speaker 1: you know we're talking about a bad, bad, serious problem.
- 24:09Speaker 1: You know we're talking about mal practice. I mean, you
- 24:12Speaker 1: know we're talking about me taking out more time and
- 24:13Speaker 1: work when I'm ready to go back. I mean, you know,
- 24:15Speaker 1: we're talking law suit, all kinds of stuff. Yeah, we
- 24:18Speaker 1: need to get together. Can you hear me that? No? Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 24:25Speaker 1: my wife's lit upset. I mean, you know, I can't
- 24:29Speaker 1: get back on an operating tape, sir. This won't take
- 24:32Speaker 1: for seconds to actually for me to snip that thing
- 24:34Speaker 1: and get that ring out of there. It won't take
- 24:35Speaker 1: but a minute. I mean, you still have the same
- 24:37Speaker 1: incisions there. I can go right back into what the
- 24:39Speaker 1: same scar was and take that out and keep it moving.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Go back into the same and you're gonna operate again.
- 24:45Speaker 1: If you're cutting me open, sir, I promise you you
- 24:47Speaker 1: won't even know I was there. I'll go in there
- 24:49Speaker 1: and take that ring out just that quick. Okay. But
- 24:52Speaker 1: but let me ask you this here. My wife. My
- 24:54Speaker 1: wife is about to go crazy. I'm I'm pretty I'm
- 24:56Speaker 1: a pretty good guy here. But I mean, you know,
- 24:59Speaker 1: you guys, you left a man. I mean, you know,
- 25:01Speaker 1: do you all have mal practice insurance? And we have
- 25:03Speaker 1: plenty of insurance. You know, It's really more about what
- 25:06Speaker 1: I'm going through at home. So I'm doing this for years. Yeah,
- 25:09Speaker 1: pretty much here at this point, I mean, no one
- 25:11Speaker 1: actually from the hospital actually knows that I'm actually calling you. Wow,
- 25:15Speaker 1: you know, I mean that's a big, big problem. You
- 25:18Speaker 1: said something about mal practice. No, I didn't say anything
- 25:21Speaker 1: about mail practice. You guys actually said that. I didn't
- 25:23Speaker 1: say anything. Okay, now let me okay, hold on, not daring?
- 25:29Speaker 1: Hold on, well, now let me ask you this here.
- 25:31Speaker 1: You every time I've heard of somebody leaving something inside
- 25:34Speaker 1: of somebody, you know, it usually end up being a
- 25:36Speaker 1: situation where it sets up infections and stuff. Well, that's
- 25:39Speaker 1: that's an eighteen care goals. That's not going to infect
- 25:42Speaker 1: you at all. Yeah, I understand what you're saying, but
- 25:44Speaker 1: good grief. I mean, I just I mean, I didn't
- 25:47Speaker 1: even want to do the first surgery, but I didn't
- 25:49Speaker 1: have any choice. You know what, I'll be honest with you.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I tried to talk to you and be patient with you.
- 25:55Speaker 1: If I got to come over and put some core
- 25:57Speaker 1: form up against your nose and knock you out in
- 25:59Speaker 1: order to perform this procedure to get my ring, then
- 26:02Speaker 1: damn it, that's what I gotta do. Oh, hold on
- 26:05Speaker 1: that that what I'm supposed to be doing. Why are
- 26:07Speaker 1: you doing that? You hear that? Do you what he said? Who?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Come on? What's come out? You know? I'm not gonna
- 26:13Speaker 1: stand for these stretch. Now you know that's your problem
- 26:16Speaker 1: with your ring. Now you know, up until now everything
- 26:19Speaker 1: was cool. Now you gotta big problem. I tell it.
- 26:22Speaker 1: It's here. I'm at home right now. You're at home
- 26:25Speaker 1: with my ring. You got my ring? You come getting
- 26:28Speaker 1: right now the way? No, okay, now I don't I

- 26:49Speaker 1: of me. Why it's gonna stay, sir, I'm not gonna
- 26:51Speaker 1: continue to go back and forth with you. You're not
- 26:54Speaker 1: gonna continue to do anything because you come over here.

- 29:18Speaker 1: now to social media commenting on her new hairstyle. Uh,
- 29:22Speaker 1: it debuted, like I said at the Oscars. On Sunday,
- 29:24Speaker 1: she retweeted, Hallie did a clip of the guy who
- 29:27Speaker 1: put on the bob wig and made fun of Hallie.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Hallie seems to be cool with it. She posted both
- 29:33Speaker 1: the sad and laughing emoji. By the way, according to Hallie,

- 32:46Speaker 1: for today's headlines. All right, everybody, it's time for the
- 32:48Speaker 1: news with miss Anne Trip. Thank you very much, everybody.
- 32:51Speaker 1: President Biden gave his first address to a joint session
- 32:53Speaker 1: to Congress last night, but due to COVID nineteen restrictions,
- 32:56Speaker 1: only a small number of lawmakers from both parties were
- 32:59Speaker 1: able to attend. The President focused on what you would
- 33:01Speaker 1: call human infrastructure, first of all, talking about his American
- 33:05Speaker 1: Family Rescue Plan, which would cost one point eight trillion bucks,
- 33:08Speaker 1: create a universal PreK for three and four year olds,
- 33:11Speaker 1: as well as fund two years of free community college,
- 33:14Speaker 1: and also introduces two point three tillion dollars infrastructure plan
- 33:17Speaker 1: to repair the roads and the bridges in the nation. Then,
- 33:20Speaker 1: after reminding Americans that our soldiers are going to be
- 33:23Speaker 1: coming home from Afghanistan by September eleventh, the President spoke
- 33:26Speaker 1: to the nation about the real threats out there. We
- 33:29Speaker 1: have to remain visually against the threat of the United
- 33:31Speaker 1: States wherever they come from. Al Qaeda and ISIS are
- 33:33Speaker 1: in Yemen, serious Somalia, other places in Africa and the
- 33:37Speaker 1: Middle East and beyond. And we won't ignore what our
- 33:40Speaker 1: intelligence agents had determined to be the most lethal terrorist
- 33:43Speaker 1: threat to the homeland today. White supremacies, terrorists, the vast
- 33:48Speaker 1: majority of men and women wearing a uniform and a
- 33:50Speaker 1: badge serve our communities, and they serve them honorably. We
- 33:54Speaker 1: have to come together to rebuild trust between law enforcement
- 33:58Speaker 1: and the people They serve through that systemic racism in
- 34:01Speaker 1: our criminal justice system, and don't act police reform in
- 34:05Speaker 1: George Floyd's name. I know Republicans have their own ideas
- 34:08Speaker 1: and are engaged in the very productive discussions with Democrats
- 34:11Speaker 1: and the Senate. We need to work together to find
- 34:13Speaker 1: a consensus. Let's get it done next month by the
- 34:17Speaker 1: first anniversary of George Floyd's death. Judge of North Carolina
- 34:23Speaker 1: has denied request to release the police bodycam video from
- 34:26Speaker 1: last week's police killing of Andrew Brown Junior and Elizabeth City.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Brown was unarmed shot by Sheriff's deputies during an attempted
- 34:32Speaker 1: arrest on drug related charges. The family says an independent
- 34:36Speaker 1: autopsy reveals that Brown died from an execution style shot
- 34:39Speaker 1: to the back of the head. The judge says he's
- 34:41Speaker 1: delaying the lease of the video for at least thirty
- 34:43Speaker 1: days because he claims it would compromise the investigation. The
- 34:47Speaker 1: Brown family lawyer, Harry Downel, says that doesn't make sense.
- 34:49Speaker 1: In the back of the head, Gud's riddle in the
- 34:52Speaker 1: back of the car, so regardless, show us to take
- 34:55Speaker 1: and what's the term of what's justin? Pott was not
- 34:57Speaker 1: Judge bot right now, it has on their hand. But
- 35:00Speaker 1: the judge says the body camp footage must be released
- 35:02Speaker 1: within thirty to forty five days and that mister Brown's
- 35:05Speaker 1: family will be able to see parts of it within
- 35:07Speaker 1: ten days. FBI plans to indict Derek Schouven and three
- 35:11Speaker 1: other Corma cops involved in George Floyd Cason with civil
- 35:14Speaker 1: rights violation charges. The FED search Rudy Giuliani's apartment yesterday.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Reports saw the search warrants sent it on possibly unregistered
- 35:21Speaker 1: lobbying by Giuliani for foreign clients, and according to CNN Anyways,
- 35:26Speaker 1: seven out of ten people asked that the President's speech
- 35:28Speaker 1: last night left them feeling optimistic. Now back to the
- 35:31Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Morning show, all right,
- 35:36Speaker 1: Come on, jun You're introduced your crazy partner in crime.

- 35:48Speaker 1: look into the mind. Up Dathany Brown. Thank you, thank you.

- 38:03Speaker 1: of damn sweating. The most award for you can't fire
- 38:09Speaker 1: me because I'm a white woman. Award goes to Sharon Osborne.
- 38:16Speaker 1: You can't fire me. I'm a white woman. And the
- 38:21Speaker 1: last one goes out to I'm doing every damn thing
- 38:24Speaker 1: I can do to keep from cussing your ass out
- 38:27Speaker 1: goes to my girl, Sharon Underwood. On the Steve, Nat
- 38:38Speaker 1: and Joe your dinners coming up with thirty four minutes
- 38:42Speaker 1: after the hour, Thank you, Jay, We'll have more of
- 38:44Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening
- 38:47Speaker 1: to Steve Morning Show. All right. So in trending News,
- 38:52Speaker 1: one of the jurors from the Derek Chauvin trial spoke
- 38:55Speaker 1: about the jury deliberations and the trial. His name is
- 38:58Speaker 1: Brandon Mitchell. He did an interview with Robin Roberts from
- 39:02Speaker 1: Good Morning America, and Brandon said, there was not too
- 39:05Speaker 1: much of going back and forth to get to the
- 39:07Speaker 1: guilty verdict. Take a listen, we weren't watching the news,
- 39:10Speaker 1: so we don't know what was going on. We were
- 39:12Speaker 1: really just locked in on the case. And then with
- 39:15Speaker 1: so much stress coming from the case, I mean, those
- 39:18Speaker 1: things are so secondary because you're literally, throughout the trial
- 39:21Speaker 1: you're watching somebody die on a daily basis. So that
- 39:25Speaker 1: stress alone, um, is enough to take your mind away
- 39:29Speaker 1: from whatever's going on outside of the four walls of
- 39:31Speaker 1: the courtroom. I mean, that was that was not even
- 39:33Speaker 1: that wasn't even something that's of our minds. I don't
- 39:36Speaker 1: think so. Wow, I never thought about that every day.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I have to watch that over video. Wow. Yeah. And
- 39:44Speaker 1: I saw the beginning of that interview where he also
- 39:47Speaker 1: offered his condolences to the Floyd out of the gate. So, um,
- 39:53Speaker 1: he's a secondary got it right. Yeah, they did speaking,
- 39:57Speaker 1: but I know everybody was nervous because it could have
- 40:00Speaker 1: on either way because we've seen it go the other way.
- 40:02Speaker 1: I'm so glad and still a lot more to go,
- 40:08Speaker 1: you know. Um wow, all right, we'll switching gears and
- 40:12Speaker 1: other trending news. President Biden delivered his first address to
- 40:16Speaker 1: Congress last night at the US Capitol, now one hundred
- 40:21Speaker 1: days into his presidency. President Biden took a victory lap
- 40:25Speaker 1: about his rebonding economy and the success of the COVID
- 40:30Speaker 1: vaccine rollout. He announced a one point eight trillion dollar
- 40:34Speaker 1: proposals to create universal pre K and paid leave, infrastructure improvements,
- 40:40Speaker 1: and free community college. I mean, he has a list
- 40:42Speaker 1: of things that he wants to get done while he's
- 40:45Speaker 1: in office, and he's a politician. He does know what
- 40:48Speaker 1: he's doing. The President also addressed police reform and gun violence. Okay,
- 40:55Speaker 1: and you know this was the crazy part to me.
- 41:00Speaker 1: I'm scott a Republican was the one the Republican rebuttal, yes,
- 41:07Speaker 1: the only black man in the Senate, uh was Republican.
- 41:13Speaker 1: That's yeah, that that is a Republican, right, that I
- 41:16Speaker 1: said earlier, what is a Republican? They chose him to
- 41:19Speaker 1: respond to the president? Interesting, don't you think the all
- 41:24Speaker 1: we know they can that going after Tim? Go tell
- 41:28Speaker 1: it Tim, Now, were gonna need you on this one.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Now you're here, man, and don't let us down. Now.
- 41:37Speaker 1: We ain't gonna and close the game out. Okay, Now
- 41:41Speaker 1: we know, we know, we know, we've never talked to
- 41:44Speaker 1: you since you've been here, but we need you now
- 41:46Speaker 1: more than Yeah, what's his name, Tim? Timmy? Right? Is
- 41:52Speaker 1: it Tim? Tim? Tim? They never talked to him, say,
- 41:59Speaker 1: old boy. It is kind of crazy though. You know,
- 42:04Speaker 1: he's the only black Republican in the Senate, mail in
- 42:08Speaker 1: the Senate. And there's a video you can go online
- 42:11Speaker 1: and see it. What Tim Tim Scott is standing up
- 42:13Speaker 1: there and he's trying to shake hands with the other
- 42:15Speaker 1: Republicans And you know, the worst thing you can do
- 42:17Speaker 1: the black man is leave him hanging with that hand
- 42:19Speaker 1: up and left. They left his ass hanging like it's
- 42:23Speaker 1: like not the camels all on it. Man, I'm gonna
- 42:30Speaker 1: let my hand fall off. That's what y'all gonna do.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Running in front of a So here's your South Carolina. Yeah,
- 42:37Speaker 1: he is he's from from your state. I'm not from
- 42:40Speaker 1: I'm from North Carolina. You are, Oh now tonight, yeah, tonight,
- 42:50Speaker 1: So we'll be uh, we'll be hearing more from Tim
- 42:54Speaker 1: Scott in the future. You think, you know, man, Tim,
- 43:00Speaker 1: it's just interesting that they picked him. We're not mad
- 43:02Speaker 1: at him, you know, no, of course not. Yeah, but
- 43:06Speaker 1: you need somebody black to you, I mean, to criticize Biden.
- 43:11Speaker 1: He's got to be a black person. So strategy. Yeah,
- 43:16Speaker 1: he's been sitting on the bench alone. Time, it's time
- 43:18Speaker 1: to go into game to him come home sitting you in?
- 43:21Speaker 1: I mean who while I mean, I think the first
- 43:27Speaker 1: thing needs to happen is gun reform. Though they got
- 43:30Speaker 1: in policing. They got police reform. Yes, yes, all right,
- 43:33Speaker 1: Coming up next, the nephew is here. The MTV nominee
- 43:38Speaker 1: is here with today's praying phone call. Right after this,
- 43:42Speaker 1: you're listening to show coming up at the top of
- 43:47Speaker 1: the hour, about four minutes after to my strawberry letter
- 43:50Speaker 1: for today, the subject all of my ex's friends are fine.
- 43:56Speaker 1: We'll get into one. We'll get into it though, but
- 44:00Speaker 1: right now it is the Nephew's turn with the prank
- 44:03Speaker 1: phone call for today is the MTV Award. Now I'm
- 44:05Speaker 1: a need what you got for us? Is there a heart?
- 44:09Speaker 1: Is there a heart in the house tonight? Okay, this
- 44:15Speaker 1: is right here is heart of a brother, Heart of
- 44:18Speaker 1: a brother. Let's go. Yeah, y'all. Hello, Hey, I'm trying
- 44:24Speaker 1: to reach Alan. This is Alan Alan. How you doing? Man?
- 44:29Speaker 1: My name is Bobby, Bobby Book. Uh what can I
- 44:32Speaker 1: do for you? I got your number, man, from the
- 44:35Speaker 1: from the hospital. Did you just um, within the last
- 44:39Speaker 1: I guess three four months? Did you get a heart transplant?
- 44:44Speaker 1: But then a half months ago? Yeah I did? I
- 44:46Speaker 1: did three and a half months ago. Okay, how you
- 44:49Speaker 1: can feel the man? Actually good, I'm actually up and
- 44:52Speaker 1: around faster than I thought it was gonna be, you know.
- 44:55Speaker 1: So I'm doing well. Thank you? Are you with are you?
- 44:59Speaker 1: Are you at the hospital? No? No, I'm not. Actually
- 45:03Speaker 1: you know, they gave me your number. Man. I hope
- 45:05Speaker 1: you kate, but you you actually? Uh the heart that
- 45:11Speaker 1: you got was from from my brother charm Oh my god.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Really yeah that's my brother, my brother. I'm so sorry
- 45:21Speaker 1: about your brother. But wow, I gotta tell you he
- 45:23Speaker 1: saved my life. Man. Yeah yeah, yeah, so so I
- 45:28Speaker 1: you know, I just want to call you. Man, I
- 45:30Speaker 1: hope you on mind. You know, no, no, not at all.
- 45:34Speaker 1: It's kind of like a little bit of my brothers.
- 45:36Speaker 1: It's still living, you know what I mean, It kind
- 45:38Speaker 1: of it kind of feels like my brother's still living.
- 45:40Speaker 1: So that's a good thing. It's a good thing that glad.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Thank you. Yeah. Yeah, let me ask you this, man.
- 45:47Speaker 1: I'm just curious because your Caucasian, right yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 45:52Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, do you feel any any different having
- 45:56Speaker 1: a black man's heart and your body cutting up? No?
- 46:01Speaker 1: I don't feel any difference. Uh No. I didn't really
- 46:05Speaker 1: think about it though, And this would just make me
- 46:08Speaker 1: and the rest of the family feel good that we
- 46:10Speaker 1: knew what he was dedicated to and the things that
- 46:12Speaker 1: matter to him. Would you feel all right joining the NAACP? Uh?
- 46:20Speaker 1: Is that are there? Some people are gonna be upset
- 46:22Speaker 1: that I joined? I mean, is that okay? Well, you know,
- 46:26Speaker 1: I don't know about anybody being upset. Man, It's just
- 46:28Speaker 1: I know my brother that that's what he was a
- 46:30Speaker 1: part of, and you know, you you're walking around with
- 46:34Speaker 1: his heart. Man, it would just feel different, feel great,
- 46:37Speaker 1: you know, to have to feel like he would be
- 46:39Speaker 1: back in there. Doing what he was doing and fighting
- 46:42Speaker 1: for for injustice for the black community. Now you were
- 46:46Speaker 1: Democratic or Republican? Well, you know, I mean honestly that
- 46:50Speaker 1: I was Republican until Trump, and now I'm just really
- 46:54Speaker 1: I'm kind of on the science. I mean, that guy's
- 46:57Speaker 1: an idiot. You did vote for Trump. I did not,
- 47:00Speaker 1: But I am a Republican, okay. So and the reason why,
- 47:03Speaker 1: you know, because I'm just curious man about it. What
- 47:05Speaker 1: I what I would hate to see is you know
- 47:07Speaker 1: when come around, you know, you you over there in
- 47:10Speaker 1: the voting booth, you know, with my brother black Heart
- 47:13Speaker 1: and you and there, you know, voting Republican. Uh, you know,
- 47:17Speaker 1: and and and that's something that I know my brother
- 47:19Speaker 1: wouldn't be doing, you know what I'm saying. So I'm
- 47:21Speaker 1: just I'm just asking, well, I mean, I'm not happy
- 47:24Speaker 1: with Trump, but if someone else in the Republican party
- 47:27Speaker 1: runs and I agree with them, I'm it's kind of
- 47:30Speaker 1: like it's my heart. Now, I can't change my point
- 47:33Speaker 1: of view just because of that. I mean, yeah, but
- 47:36Speaker 1: but but but what you're not gonna do, though, man,
- 47:39Speaker 1: is be in there with my brother black Heart and
- 47:42Speaker 1: you up in there making some decisions that I know
- 47:44Speaker 1: my brother wouldn't. Do you see what I'm saying? That's
- 47:47Speaker 1: the long way off, man, But I can't promise you that.
- 47:49Speaker 1: I mean, if somebody runs in that like I mean,
- 47:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna vote the way I feel my heart and
- 47:55Speaker 1: my head tell me the d don't don't say what
- 47:59Speaker 1: my heart because that ain't your heart. You know I'm
- 48:01Speaker 1: standing my brother hard, So you got every right to
- 48:04Speaker 1: ask me what you think my brother would feel in
- 48:07Speaker 1: his heart? And I tell you, do you understand what
- 48:10Speaker 1: I'm saying? I don't ask the way I see? Hey, man,
- 48:13Speaker 1: let me ask something. Have you have you been like
- 48:15Speaker 1: craving different kinds of foods that you don't lo e?
- 48:18Speaker 1: Have you been looking at I don't know. I mean
- 48:21Speaker 1: girl like greens like my brother ate a lot of greens.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Did you do you feel like you ge wounds and
- 48:24Speaker 1: greens sometimes? I like greens occasionally. Yeah, Okay, have all
- 48:29Speaker 1: of a sudden, do you like women who have big
- 48:33Speaker 1: butts or all of women in general? I didn't think
- 48:35Speaker 1: about specifics, but you know, if they're good looking, they're
- 48:38Speaker 1: good looking. Well wait, wait a minute, what kind of
- 48:41Speaker 1: calls this? Man? I mean, you're asking me all these
- 48:43Speaker 1: random questions. Why what I don't understand where it's coming from.
- 48:48Speaker 1: It's coming from my brother's haart, That's where it's coming from.
- 48:52Speaker 1: You got my brother's black heart inside of you. You know. Yeah,
- 48:55Speaker 1: I'm asking you. I'm asking you to do what my
- 48:57Speaker 1: brother would do, not what you would do. You want
- 49:00Speaker 1: to do it from your heart? You then you're doing
- 49:02Speaker 1: it from my brother's heart. When you first called me
- 49:04Speaker 1: about your brother, I was excited. Now I'm saying, how
- 49:06Speaker 1: much did the hospital give you? Just this number? And
- 49:09Speaker 1: you get to call me up? That's privilege information. You
- 49:12Speaker 1: shouldn't get this call me and ask me all these
- 49:15Speaker 1: random questions. Man, I just thought a mart plan. Now
- 49:18Speaker 1: it's starting to get me worked up. If I'm not
- 49:20Speaker 1: trying to get you worked up, all I'm trying to
- 49:22Speaker 1: man Okay, okay, well let me let me just come down.
- 49:24Speaker 1: All I know is you got Tchory hard and inside
- 49:27Speaker 1: of you, and I'm trying to let you know the
- 49:28Speaker 1: kind of person Choy appeals. Okay, so let me let
- 49:31Speaker 1: me it. Has your music change? Are you listening to
- 49:34Speaker 1: more art and B? Now? I do like R and B,
- 49:37Speaker 1: but I listened to hard rock too. That hasn't changed
- 49:39Speaker 1: because what's in truth hard on stage, in short hard
- 49:43Speaker 1: you understand. So you got to hand that's in your
- 49:46Speaker 1: heart now, greens big but in ACP. That's what I'm saying. Okay,
- 49:51Speaker 1: what I'm trying to tell you about Choy? What are
- 49:56Speaker 1: you crying? Man, I'm trying to tell you about Chobe. Hey, hey, hey,
- 50:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Don't I know you miss your brother,
- 50:03Speaker 1: don't damn, I'm sorry. Okay, let let me say this say, Okay,
- 50:10Speaker 1: since you got my brother hard, I think it's the
- 50:12Speaker 1: only right and me and you we get to gether
- 50:16Speaker 1: and go to go to a jay Z call Sor together.
- 50:18Speaker 1: I think that's the only right jay Z and be honestly,
- 50:21Speaker 1: because Sor we go to gether because that's what me
- 50:23Speaker 1: and my brother did. We we will go see him perform. Well,
- 50:27Speaker 1: I mean they are to the best of all time.
- 50:29Speaker 1: So am I buying both the tickets? Oh? Yes, up,
- 50:33Speaker 1: you got trouble and you worry about who's gonna pay
- 50:36Speaker 1: for some tickets. I didn't know. I thought maybe you
- 50:38Speaker 1: might want to tweet your brother one last time. I'm sorry,
- 50:42Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, Yeah, no, no, okay, listen, I'm really
- 50:46Speaker 1: I'm really sorry. I mean, I get upset. I didn't
- 50:48Speaker 1: mean the yell at. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. Do
- 50:52Speaker 1: you do you do you listen to black radio? Sometimes?
- 50:56Speaker 1: I do listen to black radio. Do you ever listen
- 50:58Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey more than the show? Boy? Yeah,
- 51:01Speaker 1: he's one of the best. Man When he was on
- 51:03Speaker 1: Family Cude, he trade what He's got a nephew on
- 51:07Speaker 1: the show and he does frank phone calls. Yeah, and
- 51:14Speaker 1: that would be me, Alan, this is nephew Tommy, baby,
- 51:17Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning show man out? Are you serious? Are
- 51:24Speaker 1: you kidding me? I'm not kidding back. Oh my god, dude,
- 51:29Speaker 1: you almost gave me a second heart attack. Jesus, Oh
- 51:32Speaker 1: my god. You've been franked man by your wife Robbing
- 51:35Speaker 1: and her co worker Bridget Potting. You gotta tell me, guys,
- 51:39Speaker 1: what is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 51:42Speaker 1: show in the land. It's your show, baby, Steve Harvey?
- 51:45Speaker 1: Come on, man, is that hard in the house for nighte?
- 51:50Speaker 1: That was too far? Yeah, I'm usually that home run,
- 52:02Speaker 1: right man. He was holding a regular conversation too. It's
- 52:07Speaker 1: my heart now. Green didn't get the damn black heart,
- 52:13Speaker 1: because I don't need all this man. I want you
- 52:20Speaker 1: come on that far right? He said, will you pay
- 52:24Speaker 1: footed tickets? So that's black right there. He didn't go black,
- 52:27Speaker 1: He went black real quick. But she wanted to treat
- 52:29Speaker 1: your mother one last time. That was too far. That
- 52:34Speaker 1: was that was. It was hartless, heartless man. Have a
- 52:39Speaker 1: heart in the house tonight. All right, well, thank you, nephew. Wow,

- 53:21Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is a Strawberry letter.
- 53:24Speaker 1: All right, thank you, MTV Award nominee. Subject, all of
- 53:31Speaker 1: my ex's friends are fine, okay. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 53:35Speaker 1: a thirty one year old single female and I met
- 53:37Speaker 1: a really good man on a dating app. We're from
- 53:40Speaker 1: the same city and we know a lot of the
- 53:42Speaker 1: same people. We dated for three months and he revealed
- 53:45Speaker 1: to me that he went to college with my ex
- 53:47Speaker 1: boyfriend and didn't want me to run off by telling
- 53:51Speaker 1: me that upfront. I was cool with it, but my
- 53:54Speaker 1: ex boyfriend wasn't, and when he found out, he called
- 53:58Speaker 1: to tell me his friends were off limits. I dated
- 54:02Speaker 1: my ex boyfriend for five years and his friends would
- 54:05Speaker 1: openly flirt with me and make inappropriate comments often, and
- 54:09Speaker 1: he would just laugh it off. I must admit that
- 54:12Speaker 1: all of my ex's friends are fine, but I never
- 54:16Speaker 1: wanted any of them until I met the guy on
- 54:19Speaker 1: the dating site. His sex was amazing, but I ended
- 54:23Speaker 1: things with him out of respect for my ex boyfriend.
- 54:26Speaker 1: After a while, I was back on the dating scene
- 54:29Speaker 1: but not having much luck. Then I ran into a
- 54:31Speaker 1: guy that used to work with my ex boyfriend. He
- 54:34Speaker 1: invited me to a sip and see art exhibition that
- 54:37Speaker 1: was in town. I went to the gallery the next
- 54:40Speaker 1: night and he cornered me and said he'd always wanted
- 54:43Speaker 1: to get to know me better, but he couldn't because
- 54:45Speaker 1: of my ex. I could feel his eyes on my
- 54:48Speaker 1: body all night as I walked around. He kissed me
- 54:52Speaker 1: on my neck before I left, and he asked me
- 54:56Speaker 1: if he could see me again, but in a more
- 54:59Speaker 1: private setting so we could get to know He could
- 55:02Speaker 1: get to know me much better. I know that if
- 55:06Speaker 1: I'm ever alone with him, we will definitely have sex.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Because the sexual tension is thick. I'm willing to risk
- 55:14Speaker 1: my ex boyfriend hating me. That's how bad I want
- 55:18Speaker 1: this man. My inner whore is tell what That's what
- 55:24Speaker 1: I said, Junior, My inner wore is telling me to
- 55:28Speaker 1: have sex with him and tell my ex to mind
- 55:31Speaker 1: his business. Would it be wrong to mess around with
- 55:35Speaker 1: this guy? Are there anymore guys in town beside your
- 55:41Speaker 1: ex as friends? All right? I mean you got to
- 55:45Speaker 1: get out of this circle and break out. Okay, Obviously
- 55:48Speaker 1: it's a small town, and these guys have been coveting
- 55:51Speaker 1: you since you know you were with your ex for
- 55:54Speaker 1: those five years. I just think this is too messy
- 55:57Speaker 1: of a situation. You still talk to your ex and
- 56:00Speaker 1: he's still friends with his friends. These guys are still
- 56:03Speaker 1: his friends. It's awkward. It's got that pass around vibe,
- 56:08Speaker 1: which you don't want and you already you know, had
- 56:12Speaker 1: two in this group come at you like that. So
- 56:15Speaker 1: tell your inner horror as you called it. No, no,
- 56:20Speaker 1: you will not have sex with your ex's friends, no
- 56:23Speaker 1: matter how fine they are and how thick the sexual
- 56:29Speaker 1: tension is. Just say no, keep it clean. There are
- 56:31Speaker 1: plenty of guys. I'm sure that you can date without
- 56:34Speaker 1: having to date your ex's friends. Jay, Why would you
- 56:44Speaker 1: have to do so? Why would you have to work

- 59:53Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter. All of my exes friends are fine.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Thirty one year old single female called in. I mean
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I called in, wrote in. She met a really good
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: man on a dating app. They're from the same city.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: They know a lot of the same people. They dated
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: for three months. Then he told her that he was
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: a friend of her ex's. She was okay with it,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: but her X found out and he said he was
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: not cool with it and that his friends are off limits.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: She dated her X for five years, then they broke up.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: His friends would openly flirt with her and make inappropriate comments,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: and at that time her X would just laugh it off.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: But now he's not interested in her dating any of
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: his boys. So she broke it off with that guy.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Then she met another guy at an art exhibition, and
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: you know, the sexual tension between them was really thick.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: She wanted to get with him, but she's trying to
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: find out would it be wrong to mess with this
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: guy who was also a friend of her X. I
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: said absolutely not, Jay said why not? Junior said no?
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: And Tommy, you say what all my extra friends are fine?
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I say, let yo in a hold Joe out. You've
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: got to let it out, Yo, hold Joe. You've got
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: to let it out. You can't keep the hold Joe
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: pent in it. Trust me, it's nothing worse than a
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: pent up hold Joe. It's just it's just bad, all right.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: You can get sick when you don't let you hold
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Joe out. You gotta let your hold Joe out. You
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. You get stick to your stomach.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: That's how you get stomach offers and stuff like that,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: because you why what's wrong with you? I ain't let
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: my hold Joe out. My hold Joe was pent up.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: You gotta let you hold Joe out. People be getting
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: the asthma and stuff, can't breathe. You know why I
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: got that hold Joe pent up in there. Let Joe
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: hold Joe out. Okay, you got answer? Reflect I don't know.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: I just keep feeling like I don't know what it
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: is and it's burned up here? What is that? That's yo?
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Hold Joe. Let Joe old Joe out. When you release
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: yourself and let your hold you out, you'll be surprised
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: how free you are, so all of him. I'm with Jay,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: all of his friends. Get them out, your sister, and
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: we look out. How free you gonna be. Ain't nothing
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: wrong with you? Know what? You know what? You know what?
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: It's like a It's like a it's like a clean
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: like a hole. Joe cleans. You know you you release
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: things like that, you know, hold you out like it's
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: all like It's like, Whoosa, come on Charlotte calling Hold Joe?
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Hold Joe? What did you want to add? Jay? Yo?
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I hate both of you? But yes, I know this
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: is not right. You wouldn't want your your boy. Let me,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: let me, let's say something. How many people like day
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: X do? Nobody liked the ex? So why are we
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: worried about his feelings? Why does it matter? Why? Why
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: should I be worried about his feelings when I'm pimped
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: over here with this hole Joe? No, no, it's either
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: him or my whole Joe, what's it gonna be? Let Yo?
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Hold Joe out? Man release his friends? He knows too
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: many people. Tommy, you'll take bath together? What we got
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: to get together? We got I would go, I would
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: go out with some of his friends in front of him.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Why not? It's just not something that we do. You know,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I don't know what? What? What? Then? Why don't we start?
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Let's start doing something we don't normally do. Let's try
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: to think outside of the boxes up inside of hers.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: He needs to be released in need. Let that hold
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Joe out? Okay? Why why do I visualize a man
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: with a Jerry Clel dripping right now? Yeah, yeah, Wow,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: let yo hold Joe out. Girl. We're worrying about this
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: man that you don't even date no more. You ain't
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: got nothing to do with him. We got We're not
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: gonna be just just lose. Everybody know him. They still
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: talk and he's still friends with his friends. So those
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: are the two that's about to change. What, dude, don't
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: look like the friends give a damn sure they don't.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Well they don't, obviously they don't. Okay, should everybody trying
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: to let they hold Joe out, even the guys. Find
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: some other guys if she wants to let it out,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: find some other guys that aren't his friends. Too many
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: damn people, Yeah, too many people. You don't know a
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: long time, you know, a whole stadium of people. That's
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: too many people. We can't. We can't. We can't find nobody.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: What I was gonna play together. We got we got
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to yea to cut his friends. He's gonna cut his
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: friend list down when he get back. He't gonna see
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: he donna have that minty friends soon get back. Carl,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: This is obviously John. You know John. That's that's an introduction,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: that's it's just yeah, I don't I don't get it happens.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong. I know it happens. I know
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: it does happen. But this is just too close, I
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: think personally, not only AAU team. If we have, you
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: got to get to get everybody. She said, they're fine, though,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: she says, there's gotta be a limit though, somewhere you
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: gotta be ab cut it out. Really, I mean a
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: limit on this own. How many people you know, we
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: gotta be. It's gotta be somewhere where we can say
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: you don't need with three friends and that's it. He
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: got to be damn friends with you, all right? Listen

- 1:09:50Speaker 1: know Mendces and Gandy from Loving hip Hop but it's
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: really called Love and hip Hop but Loving hip Hop
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: New York. But anyway, we know that Gandy she stood
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: by her man and held it down while Mendces was
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: into being He was locked up in prison for a
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: while for some time. YANGI, she's devoted wife. She was
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: devoted wife and mother of their children. Well, on the show,

- 1:10:20Speaker 1: you know, just let them go invent This is what

- 1:10:33Speaker 1: for her and hold it down because they're having some
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: issues in their marriage, Take a listen if the shoe
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: was on the other foot, you know, I don't know
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: what I would be able to do, and that's a problem,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: so men. DC finally admitted that he doesn't know if
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: he would see if the rules were reversed. And that's
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: sortful because people have said to me, either doing all this,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: where he do that for you? And I've always come
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: at he wouldn't we love each other. I don't even
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: know where to begin. You un grateful. I don't think
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: I would have said that, even if I didn't believe it.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: I don't think I would have said that right Tommy
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: in the moment, that is just not the thing for you.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: I wouldn't have hurt rushed her. He absolutely broke her heart,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and she held it down through all his troubles. She
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: was there for him. And then, like she said, it
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: was just so hurtful for her to say that. All
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: her friends were like, if the roles were reversed, would
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: he do the same for you? And She's like, what,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: of course, your husband, the father of your children. Wow,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: that's cold. I don't love I could stay in that relationship.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: I don't look at him like black coming in high

- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Linda Stokes. This is Shirley Strawberry. Yeah, she designed Kenya's
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: dress and she happens to be Kenya's on so that's cool.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: That's cool. We got to see Linda's work on Real
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Housewives of Atlanta, but she always designs her dresses. Yeah,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: so quickly before we run out of time. Um, the
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: same old beef between Kenya and Porsche. Kenya is beefing
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: with also Drew, the new cast member on the show,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: and then we all wanted to know what was going
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: on with Drew and her husband Ralph. He went to
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Tampa for three days and didn't tell her wife. And
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: then he comes back and gives her copies of receipts,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: saying he had dinner just by himself. And he tries
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: to she says that he showed her to receipt with
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: his guests for one get out of him. You know
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: you can get chick. Come on, Tommy exactly. Kenny's looking

- 1:13:38Speaker 1: And she said, all hell, whatever hoops. If my husband's
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: gone for three days, all right, that is all the time.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: We have four Reality Update which cast Shirley Well, thank you, Carla.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: That was great, more of the trending stories and Steve
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back in twenty minutes after
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: the hour right after this You're show. Well, um, it
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: was all good. I thought last night the President's first
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: addressed to the Joint Session of Congress history was made
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: in so many ways. The first time, two women, Nancy Pelosi,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Speaker of the House and of course Vice President Kamala
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Harris sat behind the President that looked at the girl power. Yes, yes, Harris, yes, madam. Yes.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: And in the words of my wife, that's that ski
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: we up there, that's that. Yeah. That was really cool
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: to see. Um. And my favorite, one of my favorite
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: parts is when the president comes in right before he
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: comes in and they yell the President of the United States.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: I love that. And then he comes in and shakes
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: hands and all that. But he probably, you know, because
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: of COVID, it was spread out. A lot of people

- 1:17:39Speaker 1: to have sex. But I'm not having it. If you
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: don't lay with me, you can't play with me. Now
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: he's mad and he's threatened to cheat on me. Is
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: he having an old man crisis? Kind of like a
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: midlife crisis. What's what's going on? I was just trying
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: to put some spark into the relationship. You like you
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: on the other side of town, and he's sneaking in

- 1:18:19Speaker 1: drows off? You know, playing, he's playing getting bobbed. It's
