Prime Minister Calls for Stronger Tax Collection
Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre says the recovery of a portion of Saint Lucia’s outstanding tax arrears could significantly improve the country’s financial position. He called on the Inland Revenue Department to ensure that tax collection remains fair, transparent and free from preferential treatment, while helping taxpayers understand their obligations and the benefits of tax amnesty measures.
