- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn, got to turn out to
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water, the water. Come come on your back that
- 1:59Speaker 1: it h h, I sure will. Good morning everybody. Y're
- 2:06Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now wanting
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey man old man, got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I do. God so big to me, man, I just
- 2:15Speaker 1: have to tell you about it. I can't help it.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It's rather obvious to me how big, how good God is.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain. He owned one.
- 2:30Speaker 1: He'd be clowning, he'd be just showing out. Man. I'm
- 2:35Speaker 1: just over here, just on receiving it. You know, if
- 2:38Speaker 1: you're out there, start your mission today, Start your mission today?
- 2:45Speaker 1: What are you waiting for? Why do we as people
- 2:50Speaker 1: delay what we want or delay the process to begin
- 2:59Speaker 1: what we want? Our hopes, our dreams, our desires. Why
- 3:04Speaker 1: won't you start your mission today? Why don't we all
- 3:08Speaker 1: decide together that just individually. Look you listening, you got
- 3:14Speaker 1: something that you've been dreaming about. You got an ambition
- 3:17Speaker 1: of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got goals you
- 3:20Speaker 1: haven't accomplished yet. Everybody has them. Everybody's got them. Everybody's
- 3:26Speaker 1: got something that's that's on the table that they haven't
- 3:29Speaker 1: yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start your
- 3:33Speaker 1: mission today? Stop the procrastination now. The procrastination is only
- 3:39Speaker 1: hurting you yourself. And if you and if you allow
- 3:43Speaker 1: practical excuse men, if you allow procrastination to set in,
- 3:48Speaker 1: then that that allows then which is a weakness, you know,
- 3:53Speaker 1: but that allows the devil then to just really do
- 3:55Speaker 1: his thing, because an idle mind is the devil's playgrounds.
- 4:00Speaker 1: If you ain't working on your goals, dreams, aspirations or visions,
- 4:03Speaker 1: and you're just waking up seeing how today gonna go,
- 4:06Speaker 1: or the devil he got plenty for it for you
- 4:09Speaker 1: to do your thing about God is he's so forgiving
- 4:11Speaker 1: that if you get out of line, he'll hold your place.
- 4:14Speaker 1: See that's the real cool thing. But see the thing
- 4:16Speaker 1: with God is God don't do that. God don't say
- 4:19Speaker 1: the line, start back here. God holds your place. When
- 4:22Speaker 1: you make a mistake and you fall off the line,
- 4:25Speaker 1: God holds your place. But if you ain't got no dreams, aspiration,
- 4:29Speaker 1: if you ain't got no place, what he holding for you? See,
- 4:33Speaker 1: I mean he got a place for you, but you
- 4:35Speaker 1: gotta come to him. See some people if well, here's
- 4:39Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If you got a goal or aspiration
- 4:42Speaker 1: or dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
- 4:46Speaker 1: get back to that because God knows where you're left off.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Now you may have to accomplish a few more things
- 4:53Speaker 1: since you stop for a long period of time, but
- 4:55Speaker 1: God know where you left off, you can get back
- 4:58Speaker 1: on track. I look, man, and this dream of being
- 5:01Speaker 1: on TV since I was a kid, and it got
- 5:03Speaker 1: off track, now it got off track. I just kept
- 5:07Speaker 1: it as one of the dreams. And in some real
- 5:10Speaker 1: dog moments when it looked like it wasn't gonna happen,
- 5:14Speaker 1: all I was hanging on too was just the hope
- 5:16Speaker 1: that one day it could. But that's what faith is
- 5:19Speaker 1: really about. Faith is the belief in things that you
- 5:23Speaker 1: cannot see. But faith gives you the confidence to keep hoping. Man,
- 5:28Speaker 1: Sometimes it just keep hope alive. Sometimes you heard Jesse
- 5:32Speaker 1: Jackson said, just keep hope alive. Sometimes, Man, it's just
- 5:35Speaker 1: the hope. I was hanging on the hope. And I'm
- 5:40Speaker 1: talking about when it got real ugly and funky out
- 5:43Speaker 1: there for me, when it looked like I wasn't gonna
- 5:45Speaker 1: ever make it, and all of the facts was in
- 5:49Speaker 1: and everything pointed in the direction you're not gonna make it.
- 5:52Speaker 1: You didn't really messed up this time. Then I sat
- 5:56Speaker 1: there and I just hung on to the hope. But man,
- 6:00Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. If you got a dream on
- 6:03Speaker 1: aspiration of vision or something, when you fall off track
- 6:07Speaker 1: and you want to go get back in line, God
- 6:10Speaker 1: holds your place. See he held on to that fum me.
- 6:14Speaker 1: He knew I was off tracking how the line, but
- 6:16Speaker 1: he said, okay, here's where we stopped. You want to
- 6:19Speaker 1: be on TV that when you get it together and
- 6:21Speaker 1: you quit tripping and you come in your turn to me,
- 6:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna hold your place, put you back in line.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Then we're gonna finish your journey. That took me a
- 6:27Speaker 1: lot longer to get here than I wanted to, but
- 6:30Speaker 1: then it was necessary because I needed all of the
- 6:33Speaker 1: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 6:35Speaker 1: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 6:37Speaker 1: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 6:40Speaker 1: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 6:43Speaker 1: this radio show that I didn't see coming. Now I
- 6:45Speaker 1: have stories to tell, I got experiences to share, and
- 6:51Speaker 1: I can tell you about me better than I can
- 6:53Speaker 1: tell you about anybody. And I haven't been through enough
- 6:57Speaker 1: where it's relatable, where enough people can go. Man, that
- 7:00Speaker 1: happened to me. Appreciate you saying that that's what it
- 7:03Speaker 1: was for. See, I get it now. See at the time,
- 7:06Speaker 1: though I didn't, I didn't like what was happening to me.
- 7:09Speaker 1: At the time, I was really in total disagreement with
- 7:11Speaker 1: God on a lot of stuff He was pulling off
- 7:14Speaker 1: on me, but in essence, I was really pulling it
- 7:16Speaker 1: off on myself. But through his grace and mercy, he
- 7:20Speaker 1: kept me through all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions,
- 7:24Speaker 1: all my miscalculations, all my misfires, all the times I
- 7:29Speaker 1: knowingly stepped out there indeed wrong. He forgave me, He said,
- 7:33Speaker 1: because man, if you ever come to me, I have
- 7:37Speaker 1: a plan for you that it's going to be far
- 7:41Speaker 1: and above. It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of.
- 7:45Speaker 1: That's what I did. I just got sick of me,
- 7:48Speaker 1: good and sick of me, and I turned it over
- 7:51Speaker 1: to God. And then God started working, and here I
- 7:55Speaker 1: am today now as he threw it me. Yet Nope,
- 7:59Speaker 1: Have I arrived jet Nope? But guess what the journey
- 8:03Speaker 1: is cool? You know. It's like I was talking to
- 8:06Speaker 1: this young brother the other day about comedy. He's really
- 8:10Speaker 1: good stand up. You know, this young dude is really good.
- 8:13Speaker 1: He said, Man, what is this I feel every night
- 8:16Speaker 1: before I go on stage. I don't know what it is.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I just wanted off me, I said, sir, listen to me,
- 8:23Speaker 1: you young dude. This thing that climbs on my back
- 8:27Speaker 1: every night before I go on stage. I don't know
- 8:29Speaker 1: what it is. It's got something to do with pressure,
- 8:33Speaker 1: It's got something to do with anticipation. It's got a
- 8:36Speaker 1: whole lot to do with the fear of falling. He said,
- 8:38Speaker 1: what you mean by that? I said, every night I
- 8:41Speaker 1: walk out on stage, it's like I'm about to go
- 8:43Speaker 1: and step off a cliff. I said. It's a sickening feeling.
- 8:47Speaker 1: He said, man, but you do so well. I said,
- 8:50Speaker 1: that's because the parachute opens. I say, but I want
- 8:53Speaker 1: you to understand something. When I first walk out there,
- 8:55Speaker 1: it's just stepping off the cliff. Now, these joe provide
- 9:00Speaker 1: a parachute which slows my descent when I jump off
- 9:05Speaker 1: the cliff, and I turned it into a glide. And
- 9:08Speaker 1: then I take the audience this way and I swing
- 9:10Speaker 1: them back over that way. We might swing out to
- 9:13Speaker 1: the Colorado Rockies. We may go down to Miami with
- 9:17Speaker 1: this joke. We may take it on out to la
- 9:19Speaker 1: and I just swing back and forth till I land softly.
- 9:22Speaker 1: The crowd cheers. The night is over with, I said,
- 9:26Speaker 1: but it's been too many nights though. When I walked
- 9:28Speaker 1: off that cliff and I pulled the cord in, the
- 9:30Speaker 1: parachute didn't open. I said. Now I'm just free falling
- 9:34Speaker 1: out there for thirty minutes. Ain't no jokes working, Ain't
- 9:36Speaker 1: the parachute didn't open. I said, So see that's what
- 9:40Speaker 1: it's like for me. And then you know what I
- 9:43Speaker 1: found out. If you didn't walked off the cliff in life,
- 9:46Speaker 1: and you ain't got no God in your life, it's
- 9:49Speaker 1: like not having a parachute. You step off the cliff
- 9:53Speaker 1: and you just free falling. Now see we all Now
- 9:57Speaker 1: that fall gets you closer to the grave, right, see
- 10:00Speaker 1: all head into the grave from the moment we're born.
- 10:02Speaker 1: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 10:05Speaker 1: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 10:08Speaker 1: here a parachute. You're still going down, but it's a
- 10:11Speaker 1: nice ride, and God just helps your your descent appear
- 10:16Speaker 1: more like a rise and then more like a euphoric fall.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Instead of not having no God in your life and
- 10:23Speaker 1: you just walking off that cliff every day free falling.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Ain't got no core, You steady pulling, you hauling the
- 10:30Speaker 1: whole way because you've messed around with yourself, and ain't
- 10:33Speaker 1: let God come into your life and provide a parachute
- 10:36Speaker 1: for you. I would rather have a parachute since I
- 10:39Speaker 1: got to jump every day than to not have one.
- 10:43Speaker 1: God has been like a parachute from me. Ask me
- 10:47Speaker 1: why where that came from? I can't tell you, But
- 10:50Speaker 1: like I always say, most good things that happened in
- 10:53Speaker 1: my life that I can't explain, it's usually him. You're
- 10:57Speaker 1: listening show Ladies and Gentlemen, The Boys and the Girls
- 11:07Speaker 1: Chitlings and heavy all Hall, the Malls and Linguini. This
- 11:17Speaker 1: is is Steve Harvey Morning Show. Wait wait wait yeah

- 11:42Speaker 1: the second one. I fell asleep right after it got started, okay,
- 11:49Speaker 1: because Jamie was in front of everybody and they were
- 11:54Speaker 1: telling them they were fitting killing yes, and then Tyrian
- 11:58Speaker 1: got in then saved well really who saved him was
- 12:01Speaker 1: Brianna Charge? Yeah, she jumped in and saved it, so
- 12:05Speaker 1: he gonna probably have to sleep with her. Well she
- 12:07Speaker 1: loved it, sound like yeah, yeah, that ain't gonna be
- 12:11Speaker 1: good TV. Yeah you say that, Carl. You think they're
- 12:17Speaker 1: gonna kill him for real? I think he and Brianna
- 12:20Speaker 1: are gonna get together. Yeah, but see, you don't want
- 12:22Speaker 1: to sleep nobody who can pick you up, just like
- 12:28Speaker 1: just like Aria and the Bathian boy Maria that you
- 12:32Speaker 1: didn't see that? Oh yeah yet? Yeah the young the
- 12:37Speaker 1: young Stark girl you know who was the Brathian boy
- 12:40Speaker 1: and boy to make all it? Yes? Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 12:44Speaker 1: he thought they were gonna die. So she said she
- 12:46Speaker 1: wanted to try having sex because she'd never had it
- 12:49Speaker 1: before and she wanted to do it before she died.
- 12:52Speaker 1: So she pushed him on the bed and they got business.
- 12:54Speaker 1: He didn't want anybody that dominated spoiling it from me. Now, oh,
- 12:58Speaker 1: you didn't see I didn't spoil it. Alert Yeah, you

- 13:16Speaker 1: how old she was and could she do that and
- 13:18Speaker 1: all of that because she started so young. You know,
- 13:20Speaker 1: she was I think eleven when she started the show,
- 13:24Speaker 1: and people were like, how two? How old is she?
- 13:27Speaker 1: Why is she doing that? Meanwhile she has killed like
- 13:29Speaker 1: forty thousand, Well, she ain't. She played eleven on the show.
- 13:35Speaker 1: She played eleven on the show. She wasn't she was eleven.
- 13:38Speaker 1: She was twenty two. Nine. Damon Throne has been on
- 13:41Speaker 1: tu Well it's been on at least eight and you
- 13:44Speaker 1: know they were off for those two years, you know. Yeah,
- 13:47Speaker 1: so she says she's twenty two. She said she couldn't
- 13:49Speaker 1: even believe they wrote that in script and asked, yeah,
- 13:52Speaker 1: she thought it was a jail. Yeah, but she did
- 13:56Speaker 1: that though we didn't have a rehearsal. Come on it,
- 14:00Speaker 1: get up in here. Yeah, it was really good. It
- 14:04Speaker 1: really was good. Steve. Watch so when you yeah, when
- 14:09Speaker 1: you have time, watch it on what on and off?
- 14:12Speaker 1: We get upset, you know, you get off days every
- 14:17Speaker 1: now and again. All right, listen coming up at thirty
- 14:25Speaker 1: two after the hour inside of something funny. Uh, celebrities
- 14:28Speaker 1: are just like us. You know. We'll talk about celebrity
- 14:31Speaker 1: jobs before they got famous, starting with Steve Harvey right
- 14:35Speaker 1: after this on stories. You're listening to show those celebrities, right,
- 14:49Speaker 1: they're just like us. Okay, Uh, well they are before
- 14:53Speaker 1: they got famous anyway, maybe not while they're famous. Okay.
- 14:57Speaker 1: You ever wonder what what's your favorite stars were doing
- 15:00Speaker 1: before they made it big? For instance, Russell Crowe, who
- 15:03Speaker 1: played Gladiator and won Academy Award for Gladiator. Uh, we're
- 15:09Speaker 1: gonna get to see this actor used to be a DJ.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Yes he's a Gladiator, don't yeh. Russell Crowe used to
- 15:22Speaker 1: be Gladiator. Are you not in a tame? Yeah? He
- 15:26Speaker 1: used to be a DJ. He worked at an Australian nightclub.
- 15:30Speaker 1: All right. His stage name Russell le Rock, I love it. Okay,
- 15:39Speaker 1: this one is really hard to believe. Steve brad Pitt
- 15:43Speaker 1: used to work at Alpoio Loco right here in Los Angeles.
- 15:48Speaker 1: But he stood outside of the Elo Loco, No, in
- 15:53Speaker 1: a chicken suit. Brad Pitt, Fine, Brad Pitt, Right, all right,
- 16:03Speaker 1: your friend Steve Chris Rock used to work in Red
- 16:08Speaker 1: Lobster as a bus boy. Okay, cheese biscuits. She but
- 16:13Speaker 1: he ate all the cheese biscuits he could ever want. Yeah. Uh.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Jennifer Aniston had an odde job. She says. She took
- 16:24Speaker 1: pride in cleaning toilets. Yeah, she had odd jobs cleaning, yeah,
- 16:30Speaker 1: cleaning stuff. So yeah, all right, so Steve, come on,
- 16:34Speaker 1: let us have it. First job, your first oh, no,
- 16:38Speaker 1: your first job, paper out. Let's get on up. When
- 16:41Speaker 1: I was killing out applications and jobs later come home
- 16:48Speaker 1: from college, Yeah, freshman, I need money. Fry cook at
- 16:54Speaker 1: burger kate rights to suit cock to the side, of course,
- 17:01Speaker 1: dropping fries. Music. Want it so bad for them to
- 17:06Speaker 1: put me on that open flame brawler so I can
- 17:09Speaker 1: lay them patties on top. I wanted to make sandwiches.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I was pissed off about the fry cook position. Girl.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I don't know how these stupid as people y'all got
- 17:21Speaker 1: in here making a sandwich and the man I wanted
- 17:26Speaker 1: to make a damn whopper. That's funny, Steve So. And
- 17:31Speaker 1: then later on in life, you got to do Burger
- 17:33Speaker 1: king commercials, right, it's been. I used to work on
- 17:37Speaker 1: the sembly line at Ford Motor Companies. Huh. Then became
- 17:43Speaker 1: a hit sport for it was my tops sponsor for
- 17:48Speaker 1: the Hoodie Awards and I had for a motor company
- 17:52Speaker 1: put the car on family feud. Wow. So wait a minute, though,
- 17:56Speaker 1: what did you You said you worked on the assembly line?
- 18:00Speaker 1: Made you leave that job? It wasn't a good job.
- 18:01Speaker 1: What happened? What made me leave it? Yeah? And they
- 18:04Speaker 1: called layoffs? I just happened. Stuff happened in my house.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I didn't leave school. They sent a letter to my
- 18:16Speaker 1: house and told me not to come back with rock. Steve, No,
- 18:22Speaker 1: I didn't. Anything happened to me. I was fused out.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Oh what happened after that? Well? I worked down at
- 18:30Speaker 1: the college on maintenance from midnight to four am. Huh. Well,
- 18:36Speaker 1: I wanted to work in the kitchen so I could eat. Okay, Well,
- 18:43Speaker 1: that's how I supplied my stoke. Oh your store, you
- 18:47Speaker 1: have the store in my room. See this this this no, no, no, no,
- 18:50Speaker 1: this is why he can't run for president. Oh he can't.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Now all that's out the window. Now see I got.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I had two double lined hot plates which were illegal
- 19:01Speaker 1: probably yeah, and I had them in my closet for
- 19:04Speaker 1: you could close the door. And when I opened them
- 19:08Speaker 1: at night, late at night, I had a stower. Now
- 19:12Speaker 1: I sold like platters and plates and sandwiches. I had
- 19:16Speaker 1: ham and cheese. I had steaks. Oh, that's why you
- 19:20Speaker 1: wanted to be on the sandwiches, because you had y'all
- 19:23Speaker 1: stole steaks out the freezing. Me and our hardies get
- 19:26Speaker 1: steaks out. They ain't hard at all. You worked at
- 19:29Speaker 1: midnight to foe you only one in there. So I
- 19:33Speaker 1: had a kin steak bag that hung outside my window
- 19:36Speaker 1: on the a float and had that little crank candle
- 19:38Speaker 1: on it. I just, you know, to draw strain plastic bags.
- 19:41Speaker 1: That was my freezer. So when the fellas walked by
- 19:44Speaker 1: and they saw the bag hanging out the window, they
- 19:46Speaker 1: know I got steaks. Wow. And then I made sandwiches
- 19:51Speaker 1: after all the parties. I had a pancake platter with bacon.
- 19:57Speaker 1: What an enterprising young man you were batter and bacon
- 20:01Speaker 1: from as a college student. Where'd you get that? When
- 20:03Speaker 1: I sold the steaks, I'm ahead and money, So I
- 20:06Speaker 1: go to grocery store and I'm by pancake batter. Wait,
- 20:10Speaker 1: excuse me now, Carla. Yes, when we first started the
- 20:16Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show, Steve had these same kind of fryars.
- 20:22Speaker 1: What do you call him with the plug? Yeah, we
- 20:26Speaker 1: would be on the skillet. Okay, that's what you call it.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I see, I would know that. But Steve had these
- 20:31Speaker 1: same skillets type skillets. While we were on the air,
- 20:35Speaker 1: he was frying eggs in the studio. Yeah, right, he bacon.
- 20:44Speaker 1: He would, he would say he would. He would tell
- 20:49Speaker 1: me he would be He would tell me something like
- 20:53Speaker 1: you take it, or it's breakfast time. He'd be cooking
- 20:56Speaker 1: bacon eggs toast us when the show going on. You know,
- 21:04Speaker 1: they're playing two records in the role. I didn't understand.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I came out here to talk. I would play record
- 21:10Speaker 1: carl it. He would come in in the middle of
- 21:11Speaker 1: a record. I got me bacon. Are you seeing such
- 21:16Speaker 1: a grassland? Last? Just all American and carl it. It
- 21:21Speaker 1: would be good too, because Steve can cook asshole. Oh man,
- 21:27Speaker 1: chocolate chip pancakes. I have you know, apple and cinnamon,
- 21:31Speaker 1: man can blueberry. He was doing a dog Oh so
- 21:38Speaker 1: that was his job. Yeah, all right, Coming up next,
- 21:41Speaker 1: it is a nephew who would run that prank back.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show coming up at
- 21:50Speaker 1: the top of the hour and entertainment news The Ocean
- 21:53Speaker 1: Daro Brothers sued Jesse Smallett for defamation of character. Wow, whoa.
- 21:58Speaker 1: And people are really concerned about Britney Spears' mental health.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I will talk about that later, but right now I'm
- 22:04Speaker 1: the nephews in the building. Yeah, A lot going on,
- 22:06Speaker 1: right to run that brank back? What you got, Let's
- 22:09Speaker 1: do it. Let's do it. My aunt's bike. Whoa, whoa

- 29:41Speaker 1: all right, thank you, nephew coming up at the top
- 29:45Speaker 1: of the hour. Entertainment news. Right after this, you're listening
- 29:49Speaker 1: to st Morning Show and entertainment news. You know the
- 29:55Speaker 1: brothers who claimed they were paid by Jesse Smollett to
- 29:57Speaker 1: stage the racists and h homophobic attack on him. Remember
- 30:02Speaker 1: those guys. All right, Well they're suing Jesse Smallllett's lawyers
- 30:06Speaker 1: not Jesse Smollett, but his lawyers. They're suing uh Jesse
- 30:10Speaker 1: Smaallllett's lawyers for defamation. Ola and abel Asandaro have filed
- 30:15Speaker 1: suit in Chicago against Mark Carrigos and Tina Glendian, claiming
- 30:20Speaker 1: that Smallllett's legal team have gone on TV and told
- 30:24Speaker 1: lies about them and accused them of being real attackers
- 30:28Speaker 1: who acted alone, being the real attackers who acted alone.
- 30:32Speaker 1: So there, now what you don't want to do it? Really,
- 30:35Speaker 1: may Ola Maya for real? Okay, have you seen theirs
- 30:38Speaker 1: on all right? Now? That was a fake whoop in
- 30:40Speaker 1: the first time. Yeah, it's not the real whop? Ola knew? Yeah,
- 30:46Speaker 1: the one that carried you know, one of them carries
- 30:48Speaker 1: a parrot on his shoulder. He just walks with a
- 30:50Speaker 1: parrot all the time. He's not a firing no, but
- 30:56Speaker 1: he's on small though. Sem about with a parent on
- 31:00Speaker 1: this show Johnny Jack exactly? That show? You he crazy already? Yeah,
- 31:10Speaker 1: but anyway, I wouldn't mess with these guys if I
- 31:13Speaker 1: were known. And when they did that Pirate movie, what
- 31:15Speaker 1: Tom ain't then was the African people them. Oh yeah,
- 31:19Speaker 1: I am I love that. I right, all right? Name
- 31:27Speaker 1: Ola and Able. All right, Well, the brothers say the
- 31:31Speaker 1: lawyers have spread lies about them and caused emotional distress, humiliation,
- 31:36Speaker 1: and loss of job opportunities. Small let Jussie was cleared
- 31:40Speaker 1: of wrongdoing in the incident, which leaves unanswered but about
- 31:44Speaker 1: what happened unanswered questions about whatever what actually happened. In
- 31:48Speaker 1: a statement today, the brothers lawyer said, we have sat
- 31:52Speaker 1: back and watched lie after lie being fabricated about us
- 31:56Speaker 1: in the media only so that one big lie can
- 31:59Speaker 1: continue to have life. These lot That was kind of
- 32:03Speaker 1: telling right there, that sentence. Um, these lives are destroying
- 32:06Speaker 1: our character and our reputation in our personal and professional lives.
- 32:12Speaker 1: So so they're saying, because they're implicated in all of this,
- 32:16Speaker 1: it's hard for them to get jobs. Yeah, people don't
- 32:18Speaker 1: want to hire them now, you know. Yeah, And that's
- 32:23Speaker 1: Cane and Able, it's Old and Abel. Yes, I don't know.
- 32:31Speaker 1: I can't kill Abel then I'm just gonna shall be
- 32:34Speaker 1: the right. It's not that Able caller. But I thought
- 32:38Speaker 1: that she should have went on the name of Kane
- 32:39Speaker 1: And maybe why why have an able and not a can?
- 32:43Speaker 1: Does that make sense? Olda? Why would you have a
- 32:47Speaker 1: why would you have an abel and not a can
- 32:49Speaker 1: Maybe she doesn't work an hour and yeah, maybe she
- 32:53Speaker 1: doesn't know that story telling me how they don't know
- 32:55Speaker 1: if I can't a name. Everyone doesn't read the Bible.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Everyone doesn't. Everybod I don't read one with week about
- 33:05Speaker 1: everybody doesn't. Everybody doesn't read the Bible and I'm not
- 33:11Speaker 1: trying to and other entertainment news. Family and friends are
- 33:15Speaker 1: concerned about Britney Spears. You know, there's been really some
- 33:20Speaker 1: concern about her mental health lately. Yeah, oh yeah. She
- 33:23Speaker 1: continues to seek treatment at a mental health wellness facility.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Her boyfriend h says she is doing fine and nobody
- 33:31Speaker 1: needs to worry about her condition, but her family is worried.
- 33:34Speaker 1: She did post a video on Instagram and she does
- 33:37Speaker 1: not look well. Brittany is struggling with dealing with her
- 33:40Speaker 1: father's illness. Her father is sick right now, and there's
- 33:43Speaker 1: also a hashtag Free Brittany. Her fans are saying that
- 33:46Speaker 1: she's been being held against her will, but her boyfriend
- 33:49Speaker 1: said that, you know, don't worry about her. That's that's
- 33:52Speaker 1: not the case. She doesn't look well. I saw that. Yeah,
- 33:55Speaker 1: she was social media, but they said it was something
- 33:59Speaker 1: wrong with the cocktail of meds that she's taking. But anyway,
- 34:02Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here. Let's go to headlines now, Steve,
- 34:06Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Tripp, thank you very much everybody,
- 34:10Speaker 1: and good morning. This is Andrew Tott News and Bottom
- 34:12Speaker 1: of the Hour, and here we go. Democrats disagree over
- 34:16Speaker 1: whether to move forward with impeaching Donald Trump, with some
- 34:19Speaker 1: like Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren pushing forward, while others like
- 34:22Speaker 1: Vermont Senator to Bernie Sanders, using caution. I do believe
- 34:25Speaker 1: that the evidence is just overwhelming that Donald Trump has
- 34:30Speaker 1: committed these offenses, and that means we should open proceedings
- 34:34Speaker 1: in the House and then the House can take a book.
- 34:38Speaker 1: What do I worry about is that works the Trump's advantage.
- 34:42Speaker 1: But now how Speaker Nacy Pelosi is urging more investigation
- 34:45Speaker 1: over impeachment. Iowa state Representative Andy McKean is announced that
- 34:49Speaker 1: he's fed up with Donald Trump, so he's leaving the
- 34:50Speaker 1: Republican Party and becoming a Democrat. McCain, who was first
- 34:54Speaker 1: elected to the Iowa legislature forty years ago, calls Trump
- 34:57Speaker 1: a bully who quote creates a breeding ground for hateful
- 35:00Speaker 1: rhetoric and actions on a quote, and McKean also says
- 35:03Speaker 1: that the GOP has swung much too far to the right.
- 35:06Speaker 1: The man who was sent doug pipe bombs to prominent
- 35:09Speaker 1: Democrats and critics. President Trump says he abused steroids for years,
- 35:13Speaker 1: but after attending his first Trump rally, he felt he
- 35:16Speaker 1: found a new drug. Caesar Saark, though, says he's through
- 35:19Speaker 1: a politics. He calls politics dirty, ruthless, and deadly. Caesar
- 35:24Speaker 1: Sayak faces ten years in prison when he's sentenced. The
- 35:27Speaker 1: Supreme Court has been hearing arguments concerning the Trump administration's
- 35:30Speaker 1: idea to add a citizenship question on the next US census.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Three lower courts have already blocked the plan. However, the
- 35:36Speaker 1: mostly Republican appointed High Court is expected to support the idea,
- 35:39Speaker 1: and the justice's ruling could ultimately affect how many seats
- 35:42Speaker 1: that states get in the Congress, how many electoral votes
- 35:46Speaker 1: that they have for president, and how much each state
- 35:48Speaker 1: gets in federal the money. More than a year after
- 35:51Speaker 1: the school massacre in Parkland, Florida, Florida sent it yesterday
- 35:54Speaker 1: passed the bill that allows classroom teachers to be armed.
- 35:57Speaker 1: The vote in favor of the measure fell basically along
- 36:00Speaker 1: party lines. In fact, only one Republican senator and a
- 36:03Speaker 1: tier Flores of Miami, actually kept it from being a
- 36:06Speaker 1: complete GOP washwen she voted against it with all the Democrats.
- 36:11Speaker 1: A county in Oregon has agreed to pay one hundred
- 36:14Speaker 1: thousand dollars to a black employee who sued a co
- 36:17Speaker 1: worker who put up a Blue Lives Matter banner. Karema
- 36:22Speaker 1: Pedicure allegend her January suit that the Blue Lives Matter
- 36:25Speaker 1: flag demeans the Black Lives Matter movement and that she
- 36:28Speaker 1: was subjected to constant, stressful harassment from her colleagues after
- 36:32Speaker 1: she brought it up. As part of the agreement, she
- 36:34Speaker 1: gets the money, but she has to resign from her job.
- 36:36Speaker 1: They say she could apply for another one. Yeah, and finally,
- 36:40Speaker 1: today is National School Bus Day. Back to the Steve
- 36:45Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 36:51Speaker 1: the moment we've been waiting for. Former Vice President Joe
- 36:54Speaker 1: Biden is set to announce he is, Yes, Yes, he
- 36:58Speaker 1: is entering the twenty twenty president dential race. Vice President
- 37:03Speaker 1: Biden will enter this crowded democratic field new controversies could
- 37:07Speaker 1: also provide a challenge to Biden's candidacy, including some women
- 37:11Speaker 1: who say that he made them feel uncomfortable in past
- 37:15Speaker 1: interactions by touching them without their permission. Biden posted a
- 37:19Speaker 1: video acknowledging that social norms are changing and promising he
- 37:23Speaker 1: would be much more mindful, calling it his responsibility. So, Steve,
- 37:28Speaker 1: what do you think of the marathon of the CNN? Well,
- 37:31Speaker 1: what do you think of Joe Biden? First, let's get
- 37:33Speaker 1: to that. You can't you can't excuse what you've done.
- 37:38Speaker 1: You can apologize, but it's done. Yeah, you know, he
- 37:42Speaker 1: can apologize, you know, now we can either accept his
- 37:45Speaker 1: apology or not. But they let Donald Trump do way
- 37:49Speaker 1: more than that. Ye. Now, that don't make it right?
- 37:53Speaker 1: Their liars, look at her. Why would I come on? Really? Yeah?
- 37:56Speaker 1: I mean that's where he doubles down on everything right now.
- 38:01Speaker 1: If I were picking, I would go Biden and Camela
- 38:06Speaker 1: Kamala Kama Camello played going him too, I picked him.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I picked Camelo over Elizabeth Warre. All right, So, um,
- 38:21Speaker 1: and let's stay political for a moment here, Steve. Uh,
- 38:25Speaker 1: you know, there was a CNN town hall meeting yesterday
- 38:28Speaker 1: with Democratic candidates. U. I watched a Yeah, well what
- 38:32Speaker 1: did you think Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Amy Clover shar
- 38:36Speaker 1: and Bernie Sanders. What do you think? What did you
- 38:38Speaker 1: think of all of that? Amy clover Shaw can hang
- 38:41Speaker 1: it up right now? Yeah, don't nobody know her? Know her? Okay,
- 38:48Speaker 1: I'm just telling you real. You gotta put together somebody
- 38:51Speaker 1: that can beat Donald Trump. Amy, ain't finn to whoop
- 38:54Speaker 1: Donald Trump? Now? Why ain't nobody gonna tell that truth?
- 38:58Speaker 1: But me? That's truth. I'm not voting for Amy. You
- 39:03Speaker 1: voting for tell the truth. If she becomes, then the Democrats' death,
- 39:08Speaker 1: she bet not be the candidate because you might as
- 39:11Speaker 1: well hand it to Trump. So you're saying, Biden, So
- 39:14Speaker 1: you want someone in the Democratic Party Trump? Yeah? Who expition?
- 39:21Speaker 1: All right, we gotta put together a ticket that wins. Yeah,
- 39:24Speaker 1: all right, well he when he announces tomorrow. You're listening
- 39:28Speaker 1: to show, all right, Steve? Before we left off, I
- 39:32Speaker 1: had asked you what did you think of the Marathon
- 39:35Speaker 1: town hall meeting that CNN had a couple of nights
- 39:38Speaker 1: ago with all the Democratic candidates, not all of them,
- 39:41Speaker 1: they probably would still be going on if there were
- 39:43Speaker 1: all of them. Yeah, so many. I think the Democrats
- 39:46Speaker 1: should do what I've come to the conclusion of and
- 39:50Speaker 1: what is that we need to pick two to four favors.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Let's quick playing this game with these other people that
- 39:57Speaker 1: don't nobody know that to be given a fair chance,
- 40:02Speaker 1: because the Republicans are not going to play fair, and
- 40:06Speaker 1: we're gonna have to start doing this politics just like
- 40:08Speaker 1: they do it. They play dirty, and all we're trying
- 40:13Speaker 1: to do is take the high row this politics. We
- 40:17Speaker 1: ain't talking about Christian behavior. We're talking about politics and
- 40:23Speaker 1: dirty with it. They lie, they protect Trump. Trump lies repeatedly.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Fox don't mention now wanted to lie stand powers. So
- 40:37Speaker 1: now what we're going to do is be this open
- 40:41Speaker 1: party of Democrats and we're gonna allow all sixteen these
- 40:45Speaker 1: people canned parade and cross the stage. And we ain't
- 40:48Speaker 1: got time for that. But Steve, Now, the primaries and
- 40:51Speaker 1: when they start next year, they will narrow a lot
- 40:54Speaker 1: of these people down. Then a lot of these people
- 40:56Speaker 1: will start to get out of the race. It's gonna stand. Yeah,
- 41:00Speaker 1: it's gonna start dwindling down. I mean, now it's fair
- 41:04Speaker 1: game for everyone who wants to run. I mean you know,
- 41:07Speaker 1: you could run. Anybody can run. That is our democratic system.
- 41:12Speaker 1: It just is this stupid. Let me tell you what
- 41:15Speaker 1: Donald Trump is doing. Donald Trump is making head. He's
- 41:22Speaker 1: gonna keep talking about the economy has turned around. He's
- 41:26Speaker 1: gonna talk about this new prison reform bill that he passed.
- 41:30Speaker 1: He's gonna talk about the tax credits he gave people. Yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 1: he's gonna tout a few more jobs and came back
- 41:38Speaker 1: to America. He gonna heep influencing his base about that wall.
- 41:45Speaker 1: He gonna continue to ban on the seven Muslim country
- 41:50Speaker 1: and it's going to appear, and then the gross national
- 41:53Speaker 1: product gonna be up to him, such as such a percentage.
- 41:56Speaker 1: He gonna take credit for that. The whole time, the
- 42:00Speaker 1: Democrats are doing nothing but talking about impeaching him. The
- 42:06Speaker 1: Muller re pot he lied. That may not have been collusion,
- 42:12Speaker 1: but there's definitely obstruction of justice. Yeah. Yeah, they need
- 42:19Speaker 1: to get serious, and we don't have We don't. We
- 42:23Speaker 1: can't wait on the primaries because you gotta remember, the
- 42:27Speaker 1: Republicans won't have primaries this year. They're gonna run Donald
- 42:32Speaker 1: Trump again. So while we're all fighting it out in
- 42:35Speaker 1: the primaries, Trump gonna be steady marching towards the White
- 42:41Speaker 1: House again. We need to stop this foolishness. Nancy Pelosi
- 42:47Speaker 1: and Chuck Schumer need to sit the party down and go, hey, listen, guys, Well,
- 42:51Speaker 1: she is against the impeachment. She she's saying, let it go.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi is now she is doing that and she
- 43:00Speaker 1: has she's saying it. Yeah, and she has been saying
- 43:02Speaker 1: we have to beat him the old fashioned one. Yes,
- 43:05Speaker 1: and she's she knows how to do it. You know,
- 43:08Speaker 1: she's smart. Yeah, she's very smart. Have you all been
- 43:11Speaker 1: watching seeing you? Yeah? Are you watching what the Democrats
- 43:16Speaker 1: are doing? Yeah? They're not listening to her, right, We
- 43:20Speaker 1: don't know they're not. Yeah, And there's and there's not
- 43:23Speaker 1: a lot of new blood you know, in the Democratic
- 43:25Speaker 1: Party too, with the with the most recent elections. So
- 43:29Speaker 1: they're you know, on their own path and doing their
- 43:31Speaker 1: own thing, thinking you know that the older Democrats don't
- 43:34Speaker 1: know what they're talking about and stuff like that. They're
- 43:37Speaker 1: you know, these new people are trying to do it
- 43:40Speaker 1: their way. So you're absolutely right, they're not listening. They're not. Lad,
- 43:44Speaker 1: don't wise up and get rid of this foolishness and
- 43:48Speaker 1: sit all these candidates down and go let's stop this.
- 43:53Speaker 1: You know they're not voting for you. You know they're
- 43:55Speaker 1: not voting for you, and you know they ain't finding
- 43:58Speaker 1: vote for and as so we can put fold people
- 44:04Speaker 1: in these primaries and then we're going to side. I'm
- 44:07Speaker 1: telling you, man. If we don't get like that, listen
- 44:10Speaker 1: to me, Donald Trump will be back in that White House.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Well you're not all right, all right, we gotta get
- 44:16Speaker 1: out of here now. Steve coming up next, it is
- 44:18Speaker 1: the nephew's prank phone call. Right after this. You're listening
- 44:23Speaker 1: to Steve Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 44:28Speaker 1: the hour. Guys, right about four minutes after, it's my
- 44:30Speaker 1: strawberry letter for today, subject Who if am I the
- 44:35Speaker 1: wife or the other woman? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, that's what
- 44:40Speaker 1: I say to you. But right now the nephew is
- 44:44Speaker 1: here with today's prank phone call. What you got for

- 53:49Speaker 1: be reading your letter live on the air, just like
- 53:51Speaker 1: we're gonna read this one right here today. Michael up,
- 53:55Speaker 1: Hold on tight, we got it for you here. It
- 53:57Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter. Subject and the wife or the
- 54:01Speaker 1: other woman. Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband and I have
- 54:04Speaker 1: been married for two years when we met, he told
- 54:08Speaker 1: me that he and his ex wife have a great
- 54:11Speaker 1: system of co parenting their two children. I did not
- 54:14Speaker 1: have a problem with that. I love his children, and
- 54:17Speaker 1: I met his ex wife early on, so everything was
- 54:19Speaker 1: fine in the beginning. After my husband and I got
- 54:22Speaker 1: married and bought a house, the ex wife rented a
- 54:25Speaker 1: house down the street from our home. I was livid,
- 54:30Speaker 1: but my husband was thrilled that his children would be
- 54:32Speaker 1: closer to him, so he could spend more time with
- 54:35Speaker 1: his daughter and take her to school every morning. His
- 54:38Speaker 1: daughter is in high school and his son as a
- 54:40Speaker 1: freshman in college, but he and his ex wife talked
- 54:44Speaker 1: daily like the children are still toddlers. She has a
- 54:47Speaker 1: great job that requires a lot of travel, and my
- 54:50Speaker 1: husband usually takes her to the airport and picks her
- 54:53Speaker 1: up when she lands. I know she has money for
- 54:57Speaker 1: uber or a taxi. My husband will go to her
- 55:00Speaker 1: home on any given day to put up a mailbox,
- 55:03Speaker 1: move some furniture around, get her mail when she's out
- 55:07Speaker 1: of town, et cetera. Whenever I get upset and question him,
- 55:12Speaker 1: question his motives, or complain about how much time he
- 55:14Speaker 1: spends doing things for her, he gets upset with me.
- 55:18Speaker 1: He claims he is only doing these things to make
- 55:21Speaker 1: sure his children's home is as nice as his. The
- 55:25Speaker 1: ex wife has no boundaries, and my husband does not
- 55:28Speaker 1: see anything wrong with his behavior. At this point, I
- 55:31Speaker 1: am ready to let him go so he can be
- 55:34Speaker 1: with his family full time. He says that he is
- 55:37Speaker 1: committed to our marriage and he will never get back
- 55:40Speaker 1: with his ex. So am I wrong? I refuse to
- 55:43Speaker 1: keep feeling like the other woman in our marriage. I
- 55:46Speaker 1: have thought about talking to his ex wife and letting
- 55:49Speaker 1: her know how I feel. What do you think? Please? Help? Wow?
- 55:53Speaker 1: I think this is crazy. This is not a marriage.
- 55:56Speaker 1: This is not any marriage I know about. Your husband
- 56:00Speaker 1: takes his ex wife to the airport and picks her
- 56:03Speaker 1: up when she lands. What you go along with that? Really?
- 56:09Speaker 1: He says he's committed to your marriage and he'll never
- 56:11Speaker 1: get back with his ex. Well, this sure doesn't sound
- 56:14Speaker 1: like it in this letter, And you ask are you wrong?
- 56:16Speaker 1: You're definitely not wrong. Okay, I'm with you all the
- 56:20Speaker 1: way in this. You're right. And to answer your question
- 56:23Speaker 1: the subject, am I the wife or the other woman?
- 56:26Speaker 1: You're absolutely the wife and you've got to know that
- 56:30Speaker 1: though ex wife is out of line. Your husband is
- 56:34Speaker 1: out of line. He's allowing her to disrespect you and
- 56:37Speaker 1: your marriage under the guise of co parenting the children. Okay,
- 56:42Speaker 1: who are really almost grown? Okay, he's disrespecting you because
- 56:48Speaker 1: when you try to talk to him about this, how
- 56:51Speaker 1: you know, unhappy you are with it? He gets upset
- 56:54Speaker 1: with you. What is he getting mad at you for?
- 56:56Speaker 1: He is your husband? What's wrong with you? Don't take
- 57:00Speaker 1: from him? Okay, You've got to stand up for yourself.
- 57:03Speaker 1: You have to let your husband know that he's got
- 57:06Speaker 1: a choice. And yes, right here, right now, I'm talking
- 57:09Speaker 1: ultimatum her, are you? That's the bottom line, her or you.
- 57:15Speaker 1: You don't have to talk to her about anything. It's
- 57:18Speaker 1: it's the marriages between you and your husband you need
- 57:21Speaker 1: to deal with and talk to him. Steve, this letter crazy, Yeah,
- 57:28Speaker 1: this letter is damn crazy. How getting way with idiot? Is?
- 57:36Speaker 1: Who he married too? Who are you? Where you come from?
- 57:44Speaker 1: You got a system? Why was y'all raised this way?
- 57:51Speaker 1: I don't even understand this. Y'all ain't been married but
- 57:55Speaker 1: for two years when y'all man, he told you he
- 57:58Speaker 1: and his ex wife got a great system of co
- 58:00Speaker 1: paring their two children. You didn't have a problem. You
- 58:03Speaker 1: love his children. You met his ex wife early on,
- 58:06Speaker 1: so everything was fine in the beginning. What right there again?
- 58:11Speaker 1: See you meet my ex wife. Damn that to you
- 58:21Speaker 1: right now now. I was at my daughter's wedding, sitting
- 58:23Speaker 1: between both of them. This letter is not about you.
- 58:27Speaker 1: Did sound like any beginning? Anything sound like me? I
- 58:31Speaker 1: get it out. And after my husband and I got
- 58:36Speaker 1: married and bought a house, the ex wife rented a
- 58:39Speaker 1: house down the street from my home, right down the
- 58:44Speaker 1: street I was living. Oh no, this health fuck didn't
- 58:52Speaker 1: right down right down the damn street. I know this
- 58:58Speaker 1: healthful ain't moved. Huffine ass right down the street and
- 59:05Speaker 1: holding these babies over my head and got my husband hostage.
- 59:12Speaker 1: But my husband was thrilled that his children would be
- 59:16Speaker 1: closer to him, so he could spend more time with
- 59:18Speaker 1: his daughter and take her to school every morning. She
- 59:21Speaker 1: at high school. We'll take a high school student to
- 59:25Speaker 1: school every day. Everybody do that high school bus. Yes,
- 59:36Speaker 1: my daddy gave me a right to school rain one time.
- 59:42Speaker 1: All right, I let that go. His daughter's in high
- 59:48Speaker 1: school and his son a freshman at college. But here
- 59:52Speaker 1: and his ex wife talked daily about what exactly did
- 59:59Speaker 1: you know that? Really you and your husband or you
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: and your wife don't really talk daily like talk talk,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: not every damn day. Every day can't call for open discussion,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: not every damn them no mean riddly, Come on now,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: let's stop. Hey good, I'm good. I love you, love you.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: That's it, see you tomorrow. Nah man hell nah? Who
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Newly they talk daily? Him and the ex wife talks daily.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Not him and the wife they talk daily like the
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: kids are still toddlers. She got a great job to
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: quite a lot of traveling. My husband usually takes her
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: to the airport and picks up when she left. Asked
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: the line, I want to get that. How did he
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: do that? What did he say to you to make
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: you be all right with this? So I want to
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: use that. What did he say? Baby? All us men
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: out here, we want to know what did he say
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: that he can take his ex to the airport and
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: pick her up when she lives? All right? Hold that thought, Steve.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour Today's Strawberry Letters subject am
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: I the wife or the other woman? We'll be back
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening. All right, Steve, here we go.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Let's recap today's strawberry letters. Subject am I the wife
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: or the other woman? This woman wrote this letter two
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: years married to the husband, got a great care co
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: parenting relationship with his ex wife, and they two grown
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: as kids, one high school one freshman. They buy a house.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: She happy as hell, lowing behold this half of moves
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: down the street was livid, Mala co cockdawn. Yeah. Now,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: the scary part about this letter is these don't sound
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: like black people, but it is. Yeah, which is throwing
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: me way off because you you scared me. His daughter
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: in high schooling freshman in college. He and his wife
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: talked daily like the kids are still talert. Okay, she
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: got a great job to require a lot of traveling.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: This is where we left off at an Atlanta. My
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: husband usually takes her to the airport and picks her
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: up when she lands. What man, could you please tell
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: all the rest of us me and what he said
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: to you that lets him be able to take his
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: ex wife any damn where, pick her up from the
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: airport when she landing, when she laying take her Why
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: are he doing all this taxi? And what are you doing.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I know she got money for uber or TAXI. My
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: husband would go to her home on any given day
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: to put up a mailbox, move some furniture around, get
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: her mail when she out of town. When I get
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: up setting questions and motives, are complaining about how much
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: time he spends doing things for her, he get upset
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: with me whatever, and then you get quiet again. See
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: that's what's happening. You got to turn this knob up
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: on teen and leave it there. You gotta let his
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: ass have it. Yeah, radiant hold. He claims he's only
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: doing the things to make sure that his children home
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: is as nice as here. What hodn't that got to
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: do with dropping her ass off at the airport? Though
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: I didn't get that either. Man, he's selling you. Let
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: me tell you something. First of all, they sleeping together.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: You think him and the X who who mailbox you
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: put up? You? You know who mailbox you didn't put up?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I put your mailbox? If we're sleeping together, Yeah that
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: I'm picking I'm taking care of your mail. I'm dropping
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: your ass off at the airport and picking you up
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: for what. I ain't dog, I ain't got a friend
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: or homeale mine Because I'm talking about dude. Die wrote
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: it that talking about him. Came in to the airport
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: airtime I go and pick me up. Any words, you
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: better you got a circle the airport and come on, man,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: you've been delayed. The ex wife has no boundaries, and
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: my husband does not see anything wrong with his behavior.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: First of all, this ain't your husband. This y'all's husband.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: They're sharing. Yeah, he down that doing what the husband's
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: doing both houses, and I mean everything, But he downed
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: there doing everything at both houses. Ain't no man down

- 1:05:27Speaker 1: down here hamming up a damn mailbox, you better believe
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: I'm somewhere else hamming too. If I'm hammering outside, I'm
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: hamming inside. That's all I got to say. All this
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: hamming picking you up? Where they how longer take him
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: coming from the airport? Whoa uh? Where they stopping? How
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: many times he didn't walk the dog and the dog

- 1:06:04Speaker 1: know now, Shirley, I want you to be the upset wife.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I want you to ask me the question. Me and
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: the dog is gonna answer the question. After he took
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: after he dropped her off from the anytime, anytime you? Honey,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: where have you been? I've been sitting here waiting for

- 1:06:48Speaker 1: your ex wife to the hospital to the airport. Baby. No,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: listen to me. These kids looking for their mom are
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: almost grown kids there, you're almost grown kids. They're looking
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: for their mama. They know how to find their mother.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: You don't. You don't need to help them find their mother.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: You ain't helping them find I'm making sure she get
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: back to them. Kids. The kids can't live without huh.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: That's why they have Uber. She can take Uber. You

- 1:09:21Speaker 1: what to say. You know, the show is over. But
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: I watched her last night and I knew one thing.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: She's a mom. Yeah, she's a mom. She had a baby.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: She named the baby Albert, and all of the ups
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: and downs. Morris Chestnuts her friend, and you know his name,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: his character's name was Bo. And then Michael E. Justin.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: You know, we all wanted, of course Mary Jane Paul
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: to get with Justin. And then wait a minute. And
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: then I was so worried about Carra. I mean I
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: was tweeting as it Carra car I don't know. I
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: think I think it's Kara right now, Kara, Carra her Cara.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: But she you know, I was tweeting. I said, she's
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: been not die, she been not die girl. Yeah yeah,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: she had breast cancer. She was diagnosed, she had the
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: surgery and yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, very good. Yeah yes,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: and then you know what can we say the very end? Uh?
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: You know, Richard Rowntree, he forgave his wife. He was tall.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: But the family. Who listens to the show. By the way,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Hey Richard, Yes, yes he does the original right, shout
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: out to Paul m Paul Patterson obviously Mary Jane's dad.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: And then the very end of the series, Morris Chestnut
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Michael Ealy by some words were you're talking my cute
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: went against cute? Yes? What fine? And fine went against
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: second Michael threw the first punch. What yeah, that's what
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: lights did do. Baby, That's what I would happened in
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: the Floris Chestnug got up and just started going in
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: because that's what dark skin wait, wait, waits in dark
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Skin came back? Who won? Carl come on? Well. At
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: the end of the series finale, Justin married Mary Jake baby,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: thank you. Hello, Yeah he married, but he married with
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: that ass when he took first. All right, that's all right,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: went down the baby green eyes of all Go ahead,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Michael Ely. It was dumb blue. You need to know
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: what color the aqua green, aqua green blue. They're blue.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: It doesn't matter. I don't know. I didn't see limping folk.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: That ain't blue. You're color blind, you know. He wasn't
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: in the Bahamas with him. They were blue, that I
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: mean they were green. The Bahamas went Hi Win, we
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: were down there for Wheal packing for you, and they
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: and the green maybe they changed, but they're blue whenever
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: we see him, right, Carla, he got on contact. His
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: natural eyes. The green ones are nothing. But it was
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: so good, it was it was yeah. Yeah. So at
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: the end of the day, you know, Mary Jane and
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Justin they reunited and they got married and in the end,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: you know how and then you know, you remember throughout
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: the series, you remember she had all these posted nosey yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: she had all this advice and cliches and sayings, and
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: so she kind of narrated like she normally does, but
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: she narrated at the end at the wedding reception or
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: baby Leila had the way sang my angel at the risk, yes, yes, yes.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: But at the end, you know, Mary Jane Paul, she
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: just kind of narrated and said, you know, all this
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: control that she was trying to have over her life
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: and all of these sayings and all this stuff that
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: she was talking about, it's just stuff. At the end
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: of the day, you gotta let go and love you
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: got me. I gotta catch up now, I got to
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: watch man. Jane. Then I got to watch Welco, the
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: first one you talking about when Lauren London Tracy Edmonds
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: was our special guest yesterday. Yeah, and she talked about
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: the show. She's the executive producer. So after being Mary
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Jane series finale last night, we watched Games People Play
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: with Lauren London. So it was all good. Missus. Steve
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Harvey's not saying anything, but we had to give a
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: shout out to Laurie Harvey on the show. Yes, yeah, yo,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: let me say this right here. Call congratulations and Miss
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Tracy and Miss Tracy and Dion. I'm expecting this wedding invitation.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Remember you asked her yesterday and she didn't. She didn't reply.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: They did. Don't be asking to be invited, just waiting
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: call her. They ain't got my address, just laying around,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: so you don't ask a guy is in my number
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: every every every two weeks, he gonna text me. Now,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: that was funny, that was fun And then and then
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: it just say pray, Okay, I don't know where my
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: invitation coming. Maybe he gonna text it to me. That's cool.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: But I got Miss Tracy, who wouldn't need to the
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: address because prime ain't over with it. Carl, he's the groom, right,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: he ain't over addresses and stuff like up what he do? Huh? Yeah,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: you know. Tomorrow I'll do a reality update, catch you
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: up on child Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Part three.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: It's one too many, I think. Yeah, it could have
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: ended last week. Turn into fans and series. All right, well,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: use all right, guys, coming up at the top of
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: the hour, some good news, that's right, some trending good
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: news stories for a change. Okay, right after this, you're
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: listening to show. All right, guys. The tragic fire that
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: happened at the Notre Dame Cathedral last week in Paris
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: has led to a spike in donations to rebuild three
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: historically black churches that were recently burned down in the
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: United States. In Louisiana, We're talking Saint Mary's Baptist Church,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Greater Union Baptist Church, and Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. They
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: were all set on fire in a string of hate crimes.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: A gofund me campaign was created by the Seventh District
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Baptist Association a week ago, and before Tuesday they had
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: only raised one hundred and fifty thousand dollars. However, in
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: the wake of the Notre Dame fire, they received an
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: outpouring of support and donations to rebuild, to the tune
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: of two million dollars. So that's really good. Yeah, people
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: stepped up. Yeah, that's really really good. And then that
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: guy was caught too, right, that did it? Yeah, the
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: prime guy? Yeah, okay, good yeah, but I mean really
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: good news. They were all Baptist churches too in Louisiana. Wow. Yeah,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: I mean yes, to me, that would be the last
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: place you would want to burn is a church, because
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: you know, that should tell you right there, you're going
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: straight to you are definitely the day, Yeah, you're going.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: That's where you're going. Yeah, definitely the Yeah. But two
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: million dollars awesome. Um. And before that, because a lot
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: of people were very upset edge should be about the
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: historic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, billionaires were donating millions
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: and millions of dollars and then, um, these historically black
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: churches over here were struggling. You know. So now since
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: you know, uh, this has come to the forefront, then
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: now people are are donating here. So yeah, yeah, I
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: mean really this is rebuilding. Yeah, the rebuilding. Yeah, and
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: that's gonna take a long period of time. Yeah, so
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: you gotta keep in mind these people have nowhere, you know,
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: you gotta now find a place to have service. Yeah, temporary, timporary, wheah.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: You know most a lot of people do do high
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: schools or junior high school. Yeah, hotel, ballroom, right, yeah,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: things like that. Yeah. Sometimes they split, the parishioners split
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: and go to other churches until you know their church
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: is ready and all that. I mean, thank god, they
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: do have options. But it's nothing like your church, nothing
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: like your church home. Yeah, but that's a good example.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Good I'll shine evil every yes, love overheight every day
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: every year. Now here's another good news story. Guys, forget watches,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: forget luggage, fancy cars, boo, stuff like that. Russell Wilson,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: the football player, the quarterback, Sierra's husband, Russell Wilson just
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: thanked his Seattle Seahawks offensive line with the most I mean,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: this is just a beautiful gift. He gave them with
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: the most prime gift ever. He gave them twelve thousand
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: dollars each. And Amazon stock how about that? Yeah? And
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: the stock yeah, and the stock the stock went up, yes, yes, yes, yeah,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: And remember now, Russell Wilson highest play players right one
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: hundred forty million dollars a four year contract, making him yeah,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: the highest paid player in the NFL. Russell spent a
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: grand total of one hundred and fifty six thousand dollars
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: on his thirteen offensive linemen. He also gave them a letter.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Is one hundred and fifty six dollars total, but he
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: gave each of them twelve thousand dollars. Yeah, and then
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: the stock went up. I love that each player got
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: a letter with the stock gift, explaining every Sunday we
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: go to battle together. This is what Russell Wilson wrote
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: to them. You sacrifice your physical and mental well being
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: to protect me, which in turn allows me to provide
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: and care for my family. This does not go unnoticed
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: and it is never forgotten. You have invested in my life.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: This is my investment into yours. Wow. I love that
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: is how you do it. Yes, yes, yes. Russell says
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: he wants to help his teammates prepare for life after
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: football and believe Stock and Amazon will help these players
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: achieve their dreams. Well, if it keeps going up like
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: it is, Yeah, yes, when you're gonna do that, I
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: love Donna sit there and not say nothing. I know,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: I know you don't want to say nothing. Do you
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: see how Russell do let just being example, if you
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: get some fan a few stock something little big shot
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: stock something, Come on na, what hap that bacon? We
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: ain't getting nada from that baker? Give him some of
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: that state You just gonna sit there and be quiet
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: and giving move. He's gonna take care of us. You
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: know he always talks well, he always talks about it.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: When you want some of what time? Now? Would you
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: say I want some stock? He hearing me? Russell Wilson
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: and gay bars stock Russell Wilson and stop, okay, it's Wilson,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Tommy that him and gave him some stock the whole lot?
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: And why did he do this for the lot? Read
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: that against her will? Back to verse one. Don't say
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: every Sunday we go to battle together? Uh huh yeah,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: don't do we go to battle take album every morning? Absolutely?
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: Don't we love him dearly? Oh you know we just
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: so we're blocking form ain't block That's what the lock
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: keep going protection. Yeah, the seconds we don't know him
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: saying want to I love him? Saying versus. He goes
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: on to say Russell Wilson. Tommy goes on to say,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: you sacrifice your physical and mental well being to protect me?
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: Right there? See what Wilson doing? Mental and physical well being?
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Did you see that? Oh? Oh, he's quiet right now, Okay,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: which in turn allows me to provide and care for
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: my family. Nah. We allow you you are you reading
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: this to preach that thing? We allow you to care
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: for your family? Do way you doing that? Ye? Hear
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: me out, I'm preaching today, sermon for you not keep going.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: Verse three. He goes on to say, this does not
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: go unnoticed and it is never forgot it. You see that,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: you see Russell Wilson. Don't let nothing go unnoticed. I'm
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: talking about Russell Wilson. Wilson who if you know, Seattle Seahawks,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: Russell Wilson, that's what he's you know, if it's I'm
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: trying to figure out who the hell Russell is willing
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: somewhere and Seattle of Washington. You know what set Wow?
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Russell Wilson. Oh oh did you record it? Say in
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Roussell Steve when he gets excited. Yeah, he's just excited.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: All right, Look, we'll be back with more of the
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show, right after this, you're listening to
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Whitney Houston's bff. Robin Crawford has remained silent since Whitney's death,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: but now Robin Crawford is ready to address the nature
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: of their relationship or her friendship in this case. It
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: was rumored for years that Robin and Whitney had had
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: a lesbian affair. It was even addressed in b ET's
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: recent biopic movie about Bobby Brown, in case you missed it, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: in case you missed it, Uh, He revealed that he
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: and Robin almost got into a fight over her attachment
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: to Whitney. And we remember when this was going on,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: there were all kinds of rumors and you know, going around.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: He ended up, Yeah, back in the day, Robin, Bobby
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: ended up giving his late wife and ultimatum, and she
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: chose him. In Robin's memoir A Song for You, My
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: life with Whitney Houston, She's setting the record straight. According
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: to a press release, Robin will chronicle the years from
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: when they met in the nineteen eighties as teenagers to
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: her epic success, talking about Whitney now deeply personal and heartfelt.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: A Song for You is the vital, honest and previously
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: untold story that provides an understanding of a complex life
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: of Whitney Houston. Wow, and from someone who really knows
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: her since being a teenager. Yeah, you can look forward
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: to hit Stories in November. I look forward to reading
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: that book. I really do, because you know much I
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: loved Whitney. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Is that good though, y'all?
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: What after someone has passed to write something that may
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: have been their secret or you know what I mean? Yeah,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: I mean it's good from the sense that it's hurt.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: It's Robin's truth. It's yeah, yeah, it is okay. And
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: she she wants to tell right and say everybody else
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: has speculated us have been out. So she's a story
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: about her. Yeah, yeah, about her relationship and friendship with Whitney.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: And mind you, Robin has moved on now she's married
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: and all of that, she's moved on. Well, I mean,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: you know a lot of people do this. You know,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: this is not unusual for someone to write a book
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: after someone has passed away. You know, sometimes you have
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: to get over the grief and the pain of it.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: Is that the way of getting it out? Yeah? And
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: then sometimes you know it's it's it's a healing. It's
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: cathartic for you to do something like this so you
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: can really move on. Although she has moved on, but
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: you know, maybe this is like you know, the button,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: putting the button on the story. Yeah, it's her story,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: it's her true and you know that's what what's happening.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: The book is called a Song for You, My Life
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: with Whitney Houston, you know, so if you want to
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: know it from Robin's perspective, then and you pick up
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: the book. Like when I write my book, you know,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: I mean, I don't want to tell that. I used
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: to have to go by junior room until he fell
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: asleep with the light on, because he couldn't go to sleep,
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: you know, with the light off. And I had to
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: do that when we was on tour. What's the title
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: of your book? The title of my book is, uh,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: go ahead, get your book, as I'm gonna tell you
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: many yeah, you know, you know my my title my
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: book is being the bigger person Timmy everywhere. Wow. Yeah boy,
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: we wrote everything that Haphim on the road the road man.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: Really yeah. Yeah. You don't want that book right there?
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: You do, yeah, but the players in it don't want it.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: And then after you die, I'll write about it. That's
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: what I'm talking about right there. All right, Look, we'll
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening celebrities, right, they're just like us. Okay,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: well they are before they got famous anyway, Maybe not
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: while they're famous. Okay. You ever wonder what your favorite
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: stars were doing before they made it big. For instance,
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: Russell Crowe, who played Gladiator and won Kennemy Award for Gladiator.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: This actor used to be a DJ. He's a Gladiator. Yeah,
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: Russell Crowe used to be Gladiator. Are you not in
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: a tain? Yeah? He used to be a DJ. He
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: worked at an Australian nightclub. All right. His stage name
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: Russell le Rock. I love it. Okay, this one is
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: really hard to believe. Steve brad Pitt used to work
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: at Elpoyo Loco right here in Los Angeles. But he
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: stood outside of the Elo Loco no in a chicken suit.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: Brad Pitt, Fine, Brad Pitt, Right, all right, your friend
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: Steve Chris Rock used to work in Red Lobster as
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: a bus boy. Okay, cheese biscuits, she but he ate
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: all the cheese biscuits he could ever want. Yeah. Uh.
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: Jennifer Aniston had an odde job. She says she took
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: pride in cleaning toilets, leaning. She had odd jobs cleaning, yeah,
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: cleaning stuff. So yeah, all right, so Steve, come on,
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: let us have it. First job, per, let's get on up.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: When I was filling out applications and later, well, I
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: worked down at the college on maintenance from midnight to
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: four am. H Well, I wanted to work in the
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: kitchen so I could eat. Oh well, that's how I
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: supplied my stoke. Oh your store, you had to stow
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: in my room late at night. I sold like platters
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: and plates and sandwiches. I had ham and cheese. I
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: had steaks. Oh that's why you wanted to be on sandwiches,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: because you had y'all stole steaks out the freezing me
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: how hardy to get steaks out? They ain't hard at all.
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: You worked at midnight to fold you only one in there.
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: So I had a kin steak bag that hung outside
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: my window on the a float. They had that little
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: crank candle on it. I just you know, to draw
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: string plastic bag. That was my freezer. So when the
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: fellas walked by and they saw the bag hanging out
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: the window. They know I got steaks. Wow. And then
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: I made sandwiches after all the parties. I had a
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: pancake plotter with bacon. What an enterprising young man you were.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: Pancake batter and bacon from as a college student. Where'd
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: you get that? When I sold the stakes, I'm ahead
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: and money, so I go to grocery store and I'm
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: buy pancake batter. Wait, excuse me now, Carla. Yes, when
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: we first started the Steve Harvey Morning Show, while we
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: were on the air, he was frying eggs in the
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: student Yeah right, oh, man, chocolate chip pancakes. I have
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: you know, apple and cinnamon, man can blueberry. He was
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: doing a dog Oh so that was his job. Yeah?
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: All right, coming up our last break of the day
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: and then some closing remarks from the one and I
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: don't least Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day. It is
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: time for your closing remarks. First of all, to date
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: is a dear friend of mine, Cedric Entertainer's birthday. I'm
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: saying a happy birthday to said, but I'm also saying
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: thank you to said a lot of major parts of
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: my career have been with this guy. And of all
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: the years that I've known Cedric, Cedric and I have
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: never had a fallen out, never had mixed words. Never,
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: Hey man, I misunderstood what you said. I thought you
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: did this or man, my bad, I thought you said that.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: Hey man, forgive me. We never had them words. Just
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: been a good guy to me, man, And like I said,
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: we've had some major moments together. I gave him his
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: first headline date at a club called Vookoo Read Hollas, Texas.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: I used to bring him in as a headline at
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: my comedy club, Steve Harvey's Comedy House in Dallas, Texas.
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: When I got the TV show The Steve Harvey Show.
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: I was originally supposed to do the show with George Wynn,
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: the guy that played Norman on Chairs, but I insisted
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: they bring in Cedric. They said, we have no idea
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: who this guy is. I said, man, this dude is
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: so funny, man, and we're really cool. We weren't even
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: as good a friends as we are today. But they said,
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: all right, we're bringing in and tried said killed it
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: so we did seven seasons of The Steve Harvey Show,
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: Steve Hoddtower coach Robinson, and during that time kings of
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: comedy were born. And Man, I couldn't have done it
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: with a better brother. So we spent seven days a
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: week together. We did the show Monday through Thursday, and
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: we was on tour Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and we would
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: come in, Man, and we was burning that candle on
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: both ends and in the middle, and we had some
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: great times. Man. Cedric is one of the funniest people
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: I've ever met. Man, I've ever set and genuinely talked
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: to an incredibly funny person, but just an incredibly kind person. Man.
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: It's one of the coolest people I know. Man. And
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: now he's the father husband. He's just doing it. His
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: success on television is outstanding. His movies have all been good.
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: And I've just watched him and I'm saying all of
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: this to get to one thing. This is a message
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: for everybody. I watched Cedric's career right now, Man, and
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: it's at the superstar status. I just watched the person
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: man who never gave up. I watched the person grind
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: and hustle, grind and hustle, grind, and hustle. And I
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: can't tell you, man, how good it is to see
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: a person's hard work pay off. Everybody can take a
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: page from that and learn a lesson and know that
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: it requires an all out effort from all of us
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: to be happy and be successful in his life. But
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: in your quest to be happy and successful, and you're
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: all out assault, the one thing you can never do
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: in this assault is quit. You just can't quit, man,
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: because you don't never know where the turn is coming.
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: You don't ever know when God gonna click the switch.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: But if you've asked him for it, and you believe
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: in it, and you've written it down like the Bible
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: ask us to, if you follow those principles of success,
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: everything you ask for will come to pass at its
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: appointed time. That's the part you've got to lay hold
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: to that what you ask God for, he is shipping
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: to deliver to you. The problem with the package that
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: God ships to us, he never gives us to date
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: that the package will rise. If he did, that would
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: destroy his faith in him, It would destroy our faith
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: in him. He requires our faith, our belief in him.
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: So when you ask God for something and he ships
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: the package for you and he don't tell you the
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: date that's gonna ride arrive, he's asking you to see
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: if you believe in something that you can't see, that
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: you don't know when it's gonna get that, but you
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: have no doubt that it will. That's the part, and
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: you've all got to hang on to faith. Faith is
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: a substance of things hoped for and the evidence of
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: things not seen. Faith really starts out with just hard hoping, y'all.
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: You just gotta hope in something so hard that it
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: finally comes true. That's the essence of faith. It's just
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: hard hoping until you become hard hoping enough to where
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: you go. You know what, I ain't hoping no more.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: I believe this because I've learned that from hoping as
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: a little child. I hope I get a bite for Christmas,
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: going down there one year and it was under the tree.
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: But I've learned from that that this hoping has to
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: eventually if you got sense to turn into a belief.
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: You gotta believe, man, You gotta believe that you can.
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: Once you believe that you can, if your mind can
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: conceive it and your heart can believe it. That is
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: a strong possibility you will achieve it. One more time.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: If your mind can conceive it and your heart can
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: believe it, there's a strong possibility you will achieve it.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Them three things got to be in sinc though, Man,
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: you gotta sink, got to use your imagination in your
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: mind to see what it is, and in your heart
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: you got to believe it. And to that, man, it's achievable.
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: You can receive it, but you got to get at it. Man,
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: never give up, y'all. Don't ever ever give up. I
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: don't care what happens because you don't know when God
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: go click this switch. I said all that to say,
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: happy birthday, said entertainer, my man, living legend boy. I
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: appreciate you, man, thank you for everything you've done from
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: my career. I appreciate you. That was so nice, Happy birthday,
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: said that was so nice. That was from the heart sick. Yes, yes, yes, no,
