- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like the milling bus things. And it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not true. Good Steve hard to mother stearn't join Jo.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn, got to turn out to turn the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water the water. Come come on your back, Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on, dig me now one and on it. Steve
- 2:09Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show, man, Yeah, I do. Man.
- 2:14Speaker 1: God been good to me. Man, He been so good
- 2:18Speaker 1: to me. Wow. You know why I say it like that.
- 2:24Speaker 1: What makes it amazing is because it's been in spite
- 2:27Speaker 1: of myself. I mean you know what I mean by that.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I mean I mean that he's been good to me,
- 2:35Speaker 1: in spite of all the craziness I've done, all the
- 2:39Speaker 1: foolishness I've gotten myself involved with, and not only got
- 2:43Speaker 1: but knowingly got myself involved with, all of the stupid
- 2:49Speaker 1: decisions I've made. Put all that to the side, and
- 2:55Speaker 1: he's still been good to me. Bring it all and
- 2:58Speaker 1: put it on the plate, and he's still been good
- 3:00Speaker 1: to me. Man. That's amazing man. And I'm sure there's
- 3:03Speaker 1: a lot of people that can say the exact same thing.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I mean, come on, man, I got you, ain't famous,
- 3:10Speaker 1: I got anybody, got no microphone in your face, I
- 3:12Speaker 1: got nobody, ain't got no spotlight on you. I got nobody,
- 3:15Speaker 1: ain't got no came in your face. I got nobody problem.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Ain't your body blogging about you. But let me tell
- 3:19Speaker 1: you something. If you break it down and be real
- 3:22Speaker 1: about it, Oh, you haven't done something outside the box.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You haven't done something ladies included. You've done something out
- 3:28Speaker 1: the box. You woke up and went what did I
- 3:31Speaker 1: do that for? Oh? We've all done it. So when
- 3:36Speaker 1: all that said and done, God still loves you, man,
- 3:40Speaker 1: God still loves you, still wants you the best for you,
- 3:43Speaker 1: still considers you his child. And it's willing. It's willing
- 3:48Speaker 1: man to show you your future. He is willing to
- 3:51Speaker 1: show you your life. He is willing to let you
- 3:54Speaker 1: take a peek at the blueprint. Man. That's an amazing
- 3:59Speaker 1: God right there. Because I don't I know, I couldn't
- 4:01Speaker 1: do it. I couldn't do it. I'm glad it's him.
- 4:05Speaker 1: You know today, man, I want to encourage brothers out there.
- 4:08Speaker 1: And when I say brothers, I'm talking to everybody that's
- 4:10Speaker 1: of the male species. I don't care about your color.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I really really don't. I don't even have time for
- 4:15Speaker 1: that in my day a matter a matter of fact.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Sometimes when you get to discussing races, I just get
- 4:20Speaker 1: tired of it. Sometimes I just wish, you know, some
- 4:23Speaker 1: days I just want to wake up, just do me.
- 4:25Speaker 1: You know, I got what what the skin tone is,
- 4:29Speaker 1: I got that. But I just want to wake up
- 4:31Speaker 1: some days and just going buy my business and do me.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I don't want to have to deal with it. Somebody.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I get tired of talking about the issues. Ain't gonna
- 4:37Speaker 1: make them go away. But sometimes I get tired, So
- 4:39Speaker 1: the damn talking to brothers, all the brothers of the
- 4:42Speaker 1: male species. I'm talking about men today. Man, If if
- 4:48Speaker 1: you ain't doing it all, if you're feeling empty, man,
- 4:50Speaker 1: start today completing your process and your journey. And you
- 4:54Speaker 1: know what I'm saying by that, if there's a part
- 4:57Speaker 1: of you just missing as a man, and and now, man,
- 5:02Speaker 1: I'm talking to you. So you know, some ladies listening,
- 5:04Speaker 1: but you know what I'm talking about it's it's some
- 5:07Speaker 1: part of you that's missing as a man, if you
- 5:10Speaker 1: ain't really been in touch with your kids like you
- 5:12Speaker 1: supposed to now for whatever the reason is. And please no,
- 5:17Speaker 1: I do understand how sometimes women can use children as pawns.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It happens all the time. I've been through it. I've
- 5:26Speaker 1: been through it, man, I know what it feels like,
- 5:29Speaker 1: man to want to do something. But because you ain't
- 5:32Speaker 1: got this, or you ain't doing this, then I ain't
- 5:34Speaker 1: gonna let you have this. You gotta fight through, fellas,
- 5:38Speaker 1: you got to fight through. You got to fulfill your
- 5:43Speaker 1: end of the deal. And I got how difficult they're
- 5:46Speaker 1: making it. I got how man, it's gonna come with
- 5:49Speaker 1: some drama, but you gotta fight through it. Because man,
- 5:52Speaker 1: we need fathers to be fathers. That's really what we need.
- 5:56Speaker 1: If you're a man out there and you are a
- 5:58Speaker 1: father of a child, we need you do your job.
- 6:02Speaker 1: We I'm talking about the our community, our situation, us
- 6:07Speaker 1: as a people, all of us. We need you to
- 6:11Speaker 1: be a father. Period. Hey man, I ain't coming down
- 6:16Speaker 1: on you. I'm just your boy. I'm your man, and
- 6:19Speaker 1: I've been in the same predicament in the same hole myself,
- 6:23Speaker 1: where I couldn't get to them, where they were used
- 6:26Speaker 1: as pawns, where they were told things about me that
- 6:30Speaker 1: wasn't even true. I've been through it. You can't see them,
- 6:34Speaker 1: you don't come on, okay, okay, I got all that.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You ain't sent this. You ain't okay, Hey, hey, got
- 6:38Speaker 1: all that. If if you can call them sometimes, tell
- 6:44Speaker 1: them you're thinking about them, tell them you love them.
- 6:47Speaker 1: If you can get a letter to them, if you
- 6:49Speaker 1: can get a message to your children through one of
- 6:52Speaker 1: your relatives, start the process today. Be a father. It's
- 6:58Speaker 1: your job. Because you ignoring him, or you acting like
- 7:02Speaker 1: they ain't over there, or you to back him out
- 7:04Speaker 1: of your mind because the situation got too difficult. I
- 7:08Speaker 1: got that, I got that. But you got to step
- 7:11Speaker 1: up and be fatherless. You got to write a letter.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You gotta send the money if she talking about it.
- 7:16Speaker 1: If you don't send all the money, you ain't gonna
- 7:18Speaker 1: see him. Send what you got if she if taking
- 7:20Speaker 1: it over there's too much drama, Send it through a relative,
- 7:23Speaker 1: Give it to a mama, give it to her sister,
- 7:25Speaker 1: ask her to take it over there and do something
- 7:27Speaker 1: for the baby. Because okay, okay, you can't deal with
- 7:30Speaker 1: the drama. I got that, and I know it's much
- 7:33Speaker 1: to pay when you had to deal with that, because
- 7:36Speaker 1: I clearly I know hell have no fury like a
- 7:38Speaker 1: woman scoring Please know. I know that. Please know. And
- 7:42Speaker 1: that's a real statement. That ain't no saying. Steve got that,
- 7:46Speaker 1: that's the truth. But do what you gotta do. Sometimes
- 7:51Speaker 1: you have to apologize. Sometimes an apology goes a long
- 7:55Speaker 1: way to your children. Just hey, look, because I've made
- 7:59Speaker 1: this apology before. Hey man, look, I'm sorry. I wasn't
- 8:04Speaker 1: there for you. I was out grinding and hustling, and
- 8:07Speaker 1: I wasn't paying attention to you, and I should have been.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And I apologize now. I imagine, man, there's days where
- 8:14Speaker 1: you was telling people I was your father up at
- 8:16Speaker 1: the school and they wasn't believing you. I apologize for
- 8:19Speaker 1: sending you through that. But now, man, I'll tell you what.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I made some mistakes, and I got it together. I
- 8:26Speaker 1: want me and you to move forward as father and son.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I want me and you to move forward as father
- 8:31Speaker 1: and daughter. I want to be in your life now.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I ain't got a lot, but guess what, I know
- 8:36Speaker 1: a lot Because if you're a man and you a father,
- 8:38Speaker 1: Please know you know something that child don't know. You
- 8:41Speaker 1: have information, you have experience. That's all they need sometimes
- 8:45Speaker 1: to have somebody to talk to. That daughter yours just
- 8:49Speaker 1: needs to know from her daddy, how should a man
- 8:53Speaker 1: treat me? Dad? What should I look for in a man? See,
- 8:57Speaker 1: they'll take that information from you because they know as
- 9:00Speaker 1: coming from the right place. And then you know that
- 9:03Speaker 1: your son needs you because you know how difficult it
- 9:06Speaker 1: is if you're trying to be a man without your daddy.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You already know how funky that is right there. So
- 9:13Speaker 1: come on, man, and match your mistakes and move forward.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Call your kids, write a letter, get a phone number
- 9:20Speaker 1: on them, send a text, drop a message, send a
- 9:23Speaker 1: note up to the school. Do something. Man. If those
- 9:27Speaker 1: of us that are fathers would just be fathers, I
- 9:32Speaker 1: could shut the mentoring camp down. Now. I will say
- 9:37Speaker 1: I apologize because I don't want you to think I'm
- 9:39Speaker 1: coming down on you. But I've been through this myself.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I ain't really coming down. I'm just reminding you this
- 9:44Speaker 1: is our job. These are our children, this is our responsibility.
- 9:49Speaker 1: We all men. There is no excuses. You don't get,
- 9:53Speaker 1: you don't get cut a break on that one. Sorry
- 9:56Speaker 1: you're listening. Welcome to the Ride, y'all, the Steve Harvey

- 16:24Speaker 1: other person called me about them beans, and by the

- 17:18Speaker 1: for you since you got a problem with them. I
- 17:20Speaker 1: got a whole bowl for you. Okay, how about because
- 17:23Speaker 1: you're foolished, so if it made you, that's good for you. Hey, look, look,
- 17:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this here right now. Uh the

- 17:39Speaker 1: you're not getting the money from me. And I need
- 17:41Speaker 1: to go because I got work to do. I don't
- 17:43Speaker 1: know what you got to do. Spend it all this
- 17:44Speaker 1: time on the phone talk about something beings with all
- 17:46Speaker 1: that food. So the rice didn't do it, the meat
- 17:48Speaker 1: didn't do it. They had some other gravy. Gravy always
- 17:52Speaker 1: people up that didn't do it. You're gonna sing about
- 17:54Speaker 1: my beans out of here. Don't be calling me with
- 17:57Speaker 1: this dumb you know what? Now, comman, get be your
- 18:00Speaker 1: number because I don't even know you. I do know
- 18:02Speaker 1: your mom, a little mama grand Mamma Dan gave me
- 18:05Speaker 1: your number. I called Mama Mama Dan passing out numbers. Well,
- 18:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna call Mama Dean, and I'm gonna see if
- 18:11Speaker 1: anybody else got sick, which I know they didn't because
- 18:13Speaker 1: your ass is fullish, So I'm gonna call her see
- 18:16Speaker 1: if anybody got sick. How about we do it that way.
- 18:18Speaker 1: And I also I'm gonna call your mother. Okay, I'm
- 18:21Speaker 1: gonna call miss Louis and see why her dad son
- 18:24Speaker 1: is calling me on the phone. Because this is something broke.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I'm sick inside of this phone call, and nothing was
- 18:30Speaker 1: wrong with my beans. If anything something wrong with you,
- 18:33Speaker 1: and so take all access this, clear your ass out
- 18:36Speaker 1: and keep it the moving if you're gonna get off
- 18:38Speaker 1: my phone. Okay, okay, okay, they say they say Tommy
- 18:42Speaker 1: has some problem with the bags through. First of all,
- 18:46Speaker 1: I don't even know no Tommy. I barely know your mom.
- 18:50Speaker 1: I just know her by face. I don't even know
- 18:52Speaker 1: her know her. So Tommy, you I'm calling Mama Dean.
- 18:56Speaker 1: She ain't got nobodiness getting my mother number to nobody. Tommy?
- 19:00Speaker 1: What what you what you want me to tell you?
- 19:02Speaker 1: Tommy there? I just told you I don't know anybody
- 19:06Speaker 1: named Tommy, So you can tell him whatever you want
- 19:08Speaker 1: to tell him. And when you trying to gain other
- 19:11Speaker 1: people who want to jump on your side, it's not
- 19:13Speaker 1: going to happen because nobody complained about the being give
- 19:16Speaker 1: me give me another names, because Tommy wasn't there. I
- 19:19Speaker 1: know just about everybody that was there. What nobody named
- 19:21Speaker 1: Tommy there? Okay, Okay, so you're gonna say nephew, nephew
- 19:26Speaker 1: Tommy wasn't then what nephew Tommy? This is nephew from
- 19:31Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Martin Show. You are you crazy? Your cous
- 19:43Speaker 1: me to breakfall? You crazy? I'm at people walking by

- 22:12Speaker 1: in te Neck. Cynthia says, I'm in love with a
- 22:15Speaker 1: much older man and he's having surgery next month and
- 22:17Speaker 1: has asked me to take care of him. I don't
- 22:20Speaker 1: mind going to his house, but it looks like his
- 22:22Speaker 1: wife still lives there. She died six years ago and
- 22:26Speaker 1: he appears to have a shrine to her in his
- 22:29Speaker 1: formal living room. I've asked if we can remove some
- 22:33Speaker 1: of the pictures, and he said, I don't need to
- 22:35Speaker 1: worry about a deceased woman. This is creepy to me,
- 22:39Speaker 1: and I want to be the woman of this house.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Should I say something? I'm not staying there until he
- 22:44Speaker 1: cleans up. Well, you don't have to stay there, but
- 22:47Speaker 1: but let me tell you something else though. That kind
- 22:50Speaker 1: of strikes me. What is this operation that he fit
- 22:52Speaker 1: in the head where he gonna need this ultimate care
- 22:56Speaker 1: about you living there? You fit to be you Finn
- 22:57Speaker 1: to be a caregiver. I'm gonna have to get wheelchair
- 23:02Speaker 1: and blankets and push it down the street. Blanket You're
- 23:06Speaker 1: gonna have to learn how to put it in I vs.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Or animals? The girl you feel to be busy? He
- 23:12Speaker 1: got an operation where he know he needs some help.
- 23:14Speaker 1: What is he getting right? That's my concern. What is
- 23:20Speaker 1: this surgery that you have? Should she do it with
- 23:24Speaker 1: the shrine? Yeah? Going over there? No, no remote stuff,
- 23:30Speaker 1: don't no, you can't touch y'all, thank you. No, you
- 23:33Speaker 1: can't touch them ashes that's up in there in that
- 23:36Speaker 1: boat and probably it ain't no earth. No, he old,
- 23:41Speaker 1: probably in a bowl like a ferial bowl, like old
- 23:46Speaker 1: a fold just came old people. You know, she and
- 23:51Speaker 1: there like she's been pickled. That dude up in there.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Man got the wife shouldn't have been there. Man got
- 23:56Speaker 1: a picture taped on the jaw. Total body think nothing wrong?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, pitch on it. Real shrine. You need
- 24:06Speaker 1: to stay out. Candles lit up on each side. But Steve,
- 24:12Speaker 1: what's gonna happen when he needs to be watched after
- 24:16Speaker 1: the surgery? Alright? Coming in and you got to learn
- 24:25Speaker 1: wash red temperatures and all because you hain't that hot
- 24:29Speaker 1: red on his as he read it. That is not
- 24:35Speaker 1: what she has a problem with. Okay, Well, I'm just
- 24:38Speaker 1: telling what's going ahead. You need to find out what
- 24:40Speaker 1: this operationally out of it is. He gonna be all right,
- 24:46Speaker 1: we're moving on. It's so ignorant. On Chante and East Point, Georgia. Says,
- 24:53Speaker 1: I work as a teacher and my principal at my
- 24:56Speaker 1: school is trying to date me. I have told him
- 24:59Speaker 1: I do not full with married men, but he insists
- 25:02Speaker 1: that it's a work meeting and he's trying to get
- 25:05Speaker 1: to know me. He says he values me as a
- 25:07Speaker 1: professional and that's all it is. He wants to know
- 25:09Speaker 1: me better. It's my first real teaching job, so I
- 25:12Speaker 1: don't want any trouble. I also feel like if I
- 25:16Speaker 1: don't go out with him, he will treat me differently. So,
- 25:19Speaker 1: Uncle Steve, what should I do? Well, let's talk about this.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Treat you differently, treat you differently than what he's obviously
- 25:26Speaker 1: being very nice to you right now, respecting her, and well,
- 25:31Speaker 1: because he wants something. Uh huh, that's all the reason
- 25:34Speaker 1: he don't take all the teachers out. Yeah. Did he
- 25:37Speaker 1: take mister Samuel's out? Yeah, you know, you know the
- 25:46Speaker 1: gym teacher took him out right right right as as
- 25:50Speaker 1: he took miss Earleen Park out the library, Miss Park. Yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 1: you know, you know, get to get to know them. Yeah,

- 26:06Speaker 1: but just black black social studies. Nobody come to that car.
- 26:14Speaker 1: That's the most cut class. Well, I don't want her
- 26:20Speaker 1: to feel like if she doesn't go out with him,
- 26:23Speaker 1: she cannot go out for fire her or something. Yeah,
- 26:27Speaker 1: and how you think that will play in this new day?
- 26:29Speaker 1: Exactly right? He asked me out. I refuse to go,
- 26:32Speaker 1: and now I don't have a jet. You don't think
- 26:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I definitely think that. And is he texting
- 26:38Speaker 1: you asking you out? All this is too much? She
- 26:42Speaker 1: wants to go. Okay, we're going and go say no,
- 26:45Speaker 1: don't go, don't go, don't go appropriate. Yeah, he shouldn't
- 26:50Speaker 1: even be doing that, right, all right? Moving on, Cameron
- 26:52Speaker 1: and Rochester says, I met a woman online and we've
- 26:55Speaker 1: been getting to know each other. I've introduced her to
- 26:58Speaker 1: my nineteen year old Say that again. I met a
- 27:00Speaker 1: woman online. This from Cameron in Rochester. We've been getting

- 27:06Speaker 1: year old son, and he kept saying that he'd seen
- 27:09Speaker 1: her somewhere before. He told me that he thinks she's
- 27:12Speaker 1: a stripper. At a gentleman's club that has a lunch buffet.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I told him, I'm sorry, Yeah, you just spoke out
- 27:21Speaker 1: a turn. I told him to do some research and
- 27:25Speaker 1: let me know. I've been on pens and needles waiting
- 27:28Speaker 1: to see if she's a dancer now or if she
- 27:31Speaker 1: used to be? If I if I really like this woman,
- 27:35Speaker 1: should that matter? That's what he wants to know. Well,
- 27:38Speaker 1: if you're boyed and I already seen, how you think
- 27:43Speaker 1: Thanksgiving dinner gonna be? Oh? Lord, you think Christmas fitna be?
- 27:48Speaker 1: That's sentiment. I'm just selling you. I'm just asking you.
- 27:52Speaker 1: How shouldn't matter? How does your son know this so brout?
- 27:57Speaker 1: Don't you know? Just find out? Might it might not
- 27:59Speaker 1: be this woman at all? Yeah, it might not be
- 28:02Speaker 1: her at all? He says. If I really like this woman,
- 28:05Speaker 1: he really does like her, don't think all you gotta do?
- 28:07Speaker 1: Ask her? Right? Yeah? But what if she says, yes,
- 28:11Speaker 1: do you dance at a gentleman's club? Yes, well it's
- 28:16Speaker 1: over No, what what time you are? That's a real
- 28:22Speaker 1: man right there? All right? But that lunchbo fight? Who? Okay?
- 28:28Speaker 1: There you go again? Hello? Remember what? And you know
- 28:32Speaker 1: that's how you read some Yelp reviews. Yeah, okay, get
- 28:37Speaker 1: your nephew, get them, get them, keep it, keep it moving.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Thirty seconds left. We don't have time for the next one.
- 28:47Speaker 1: But um yeah, but the lesson is what time you
- 28:51Speaker 1: get off? See a lot? Really, so you give her
- 28:54Speaker 1: a pass. Well, you know we're not we're not going
- 28:57Speaker 1: nowhere with this. Huh oh, because they ain't no telling
- 29:00Speaker 1: who else know this information? Huh Okay, all right, but
- 29:04Speaker 1: you know, were nothing to be you know, scripples are
- 29:08Speaker 1: great paper though. Yeah, I'm sure they are. I'm sure
- 29:11Speaker 1: they are. Okay, he just keeps on. Okay, all right,
- 29:15Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Thank you,
- 29:17Speaker 1: Cello Entertainment News. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 29:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Jesse Smollett's trial began Monday in Chicago,
- 29:28Speaker 1: three years after the former Empire star claimed he was
- 29:32Speaker 1: the victim of a hate crime. The jury was selected
- 29:35Speaker 1: and opening statements were heard. The trial is expected to
- 29:38Speaker 1: last about a week. Is somebody bringing charges against him? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 29:44Speaker 1: for that whole debacle, that whole lie. You know, he
- 29:47Speaker 1: should have just went well. The trial is expected to
- 29:51Speaker 1: last about a week. According to the Chicago Tribune. Special
- 29:54Speaker 1: prosecutor Dan Webb said in his opening statement that Jesse
- 29:58Speaker 1: hired two brothers to ki Harry out the bogus attack.
- 30:02Speaker 1: They were brothers that are actually brothers, and we all
- 30:05Speaker 1: know that when he reported the fake hate crime, that
- 30:07Speaker 1: was a real crime, Webb said. Jesse's lawyer argued that
- 30:11Speaker 1: the brothers who are prosecutors star witnesses are liars who
- 30:16Speaker 1: hated Jesse because of who he is as a person,
- 30:19Speaker 1: and we're using him to further their own careers. Jesse
- 30:23Speaker 1: faces six counts of disorderly conduct and up to three
- 30:27Speaker 1: years in prison if convicted. Yah, we'd like to call
- 30:29Speaker 1: Larry from subway to manager that night, ply, honestly, everybody
- 30:34Speaker 1: thought this trial was over. I just you know, look,
- 30:38Speaker 1: this whole thing was over. I thought, I think we
- 30:40Speaker 1: got other things to do instead of wasting taxpayers. And
- 30:44Speaker 1: you shouldn't have been here trying to convict Jesse Smullett
- 30:48Speaker 1: when Kyle Riddenhouser at the house. Yeah. So I'm already
- 30:51Speaker 1: on the free Jesse tram. Yeah so, because if Kyle
- 30:55Speaker 1: Riddenhouser can go home just going, let why are we
- 30:57Speaker 1: doing this hill? And he killed two people in shots
- 31:00Speaker 1: another person he had the house. He's free. This is
- 31:03Speaker 1: a waste of time and he can't. Yes, it does.
- 31:06Speaker 1: But Jesse maintains that his story is true. He maintains
- 31:11Speaker 1: a telling listen to me. We're just saying, yeah, this point,
- 31:16Speaker 1: we got to remember that too, Now, Jesse, No, we
- 31:20Speaker 1: were nothing to do this. We're with you, but know
- 31:23Speaker 1: with in the beginning, even though we knew, even though
- 31:27Speaker 1: we knew, we was yes, we were just quiet. But
- 31:35Speaker 1: you know you do maga had you don't walk your neck. Yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 1: but you picked your sandwich. Somebody tried to hang you
- 31:46Speaker 1: and you pitched your sandwich a foot long. And we're
- 31:49Speaker 1: to the house with you're saying, don't you know how
- 31:52Speaker 1: I'm trying to get to this house and it ain't
- 31:54Speaker 1: gonna have a damn thing to do. That's when you're hunger, though,
- 31:57Speaker 1: on take that asswhip and hold on to that sandwich doll.
- 32:05Speaker 1: All right, well, Pete Davidson, we're moving on. We'll be
- 32:08Speaker 1: stretched then through the holidays. Now, he's been invited to
- 32:12Speaker 1: Chris Jenner's Christmas party because of his relationship with Kim. Now,
- 32:16Speaker 1: you know, since Kim host is Saturday Night Live, she
- 32:18Speaker 1: and Pete have been hanging out. Some people think they're dating,
- 32:22Speaker 1: but looks like he's the one that's going to be
- 32:25Speaker 1: writing her stand up comedy set for this tour. She's
- 32:28Speaker 1: putting together all right, she's prepping for a comedy tour.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I mean she's really serious. Yeah, after she hosted Saturday
- 32:37Speaker 1: Night Live, she got she gained a lot of confidence.
- 32:40Speaker 1: But wait, she's talking to people at Madison Square Garden
- 32:44Speaker 1: for her stand up comedy routine, her act. So we're
- 32:48Speaker 1: gonna do aw, don't I a hand? She has no
- 32:53Speaker 1: idea what this? If you in the garden, you're gonna
- 32:56Speaker 1: go do an how hour and a hand? Well, she

- 33:42Speaker 1: a teenage teacher, were left injured. It was a school
- 33:45Speaker 1: in suburban Detroit after police say a fellow student of
- 33:48Speaker 1: fifteen year old sophomore opened fire at Oxford High School.

- 34:11Speaker 1: effective against the newest COVID variant, omicron. They're already starting
- 34:16Speaker 1: to work on a new formula. President Biden says his
- 34:18Speaker 1: administrations ready to assist so that we are prepared if needed.
- 34:23Speaker 1: My team is already working with officials Adviser and Burderna
- 34:26Speaker 1: and Johnson and Johnson to develop contingency Fans for vaccines
- 34:31Speaker 1: or boosters if needed. Meanwhile, authorities are reminding everyone over

- 34:43Speaker 1: Lamb was the founder of something called the Daystar television network.
- 34:46Speaker 1: He called the nation's vaccine mandates of sin against God.
- 34:50Speaker 1: He maligned vaccines. His wife nevertheless confirmed that he died
- 34:54Speaker 1: yesterday after his oxygen levels dropped and alternative treatments were ineffective.

- 35:03Speaker 1: Nineteen Lebron James is now out of the game and
- 35:06Speaker 1: definitely after testing positive for COVID. He has to be

- 35:11Speaker 1: if it's asymptomatic COVID or whether he has symptoms. It
- 35:15Speaker 1: seems from what the reports are is that he didn't
- 35:17Speaker 1: really have any symptoms. He took three tests and two
- 35:20Speaker 1: of them proved positive for COVID. TV's doctor Oz is
- 35:24Speaker 1: running for Senate in Pennsylvania. The sixty one year old
- 35:27Speaker 1: Mehman Odd is a conservative Republican. Just so, as you know,

- 35:34Speaker 1: legendary Josephine Baker became the first, the very first black
- 35:38Speaker 1: woman and first entertainer to be honored in the Pantheon.
- 35:41Speaker 1: That's the final resting place of France's most revered luminaries,
- 35:45Speaker 1: like scientists Madame Curie. There are only two other black
- 35:48Speaker 1: people buried there, Gaullis resister Felix Ebouret and the author
- 35:51Speaker 1: of the Three Musketeers, Alexandre Dumas, you know, who was
- 35:54Speaker 1: also a brother. Okay. Josephine Baker was born in Saint Louis, Missouri.

- 46:06Speaker 1: and I'm trying to see if possibly, you know, my
- 46:09Speaker 1: back is up against the wall right now. I'm trying
- 46:11Speaker 1: to see if I can possibly put something in one
- 46:15Speaker 1: of you as freezers for a couple of days until
- 46:18Speaker 1: I get freed up on this end. So that's why

- 46:33Speaker 1: I just want to put something there for a couple
- 46:35Speaker 1: of days because I have a freezer, but mine is
- 46:37Speaker 1: completely full, and I'm trying to see if I can
- 46:40Speaker 1: put something you ass freezer until you know, for a
- 46:42Speaker 1: couple of days, and then I'll come back and get it. Um.
- 46:45Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. We don't do that, U. If you
- 46:50Speaker 1: wanted to come by and purchase a freezer, I'm having
- 46:54Speaker 1: to help you, but we don't allow outside vendors to
- 46:57Speaker 1: put things in our freezers. That's that's yeah, that I'm sorry. Okay, Well,
- 47:02Speaker 1: well I was told if Dale wouldn't hear what was
- 47:05Speaker 1: going on, he might he might be able to help
- 47:07Speaker 1: me though. Okay, Um, you said your name is Kevin. Okay, Kevin,
- 47:12Speaker 1: if you just hold him m and I will see
- 47:13Speaker 1: if Dale can take your call. That's that's what the
- 47:16Speaker 1: hell I asked it in the first place. Speak okay,
- 47:19Speaker 1: then hold on the man. Please. Hey, this is Della. Okay,
- 47:23Speaker 1: I help you. Hey, how are you doing? This is
- 47:25Speaker 1: uh Kevin Kevin, and I've been on the phone with
- 47:29Speaker 1: with uh the salesperson. But let me tell you what

- 47:36Speaker 1: use your You have a lot of walk in freezers
- 47:39Speaker 1: that you all sell, right right? We do? Yeah? Okay,
- 47:42Speaker 1: So what what I got is my freezer is completely full, man,
- 47:48Speaker 1: and I'm my back is against the wall. You can't
- 47:52Speaker 1: record highly recommend it to give you a call? Is
- 47:54Speaker 1: it possible for me to? Um, I need to keep
- 47:57Speaker 1: something frozen for a few days. It's only gonna be
- 48:01Speaker 1: like two days. My frieze will be, you know, half empty.
- 48:05Speaker 1: In a couple of days. I just want I just
- 48:07Speaker 1: need some somebody to just kind of help me out here.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Is it possible for me to bring something over there
- 48:12Speaker 1: to keep it frozen for a couple of days? You
- 48:14Speaker 1: know what? We got into show room, you know, with
- 48:17Speaker 1: different displays so you can see what different kind of
- 48:19Speaker 1: refrigerators look in your restaurants. But I mean, if you
- 48:22Speaker 1: want to come and take a look at one, I
- 48:24Speaker 1: could have you in if you're interested in buying one.
- 48:26Speaker 1: But no, no, it's there for show, you know, right right? No, No,
- 48:30Speaker 1: I have a cooler, I have a freeze already, but
- 48:33Speaker 1: like I say, mine is just full. In a couple
- 48:35Speaker 1: of days it won't be. And I really got to
- 48:38Speaker 1: get this this stuff on frozen. Man, I'm gonna be
- 48:41Speaker 1: in trouble. Like I said, I'm I'm my back against
- 48:44Speaker 1: the wall over here. Man. And I can't remember who
- 48:46Speaker 1: recommended you, but you can't highly recommend it that you
- 48:49Speaker 1: might be able to show me a little love on
- 48:50Speaker 1: this look. I guess it comes back it depends on
- 48:53Speaker 1: what do you need? How much? How much do you
- 48:55Speaker 1: have do you need frozen? I mean I don't even
- 48:57Speaker 1: know what you Well, well, I got three bodies that
- 49:01Speaker 1: I need to get um to keep you know, to
- 49:04Speaker 1: keep frozen. Man. That you know we run the mortuary
- 49:06Speaker 1: over here. This is bows body. Yeah we got three
- 49:10Speaker 1: people bodies. Yeah, yeah, we got three bodies that and
- 49:13Speaker 1: like I said, my my freezers full. Man. But in
- 49:16Speaker 1: a couple of days, you know, these bodies, you know,
- 49:19Speaker 1: the funerals would have happened, so we'll be freed up,
- 49:22Speaker 1: you know. But right now I got I got three
- 49:24Speaker 1: bodies coming in the day that I got to get
- 49:26Speaker 1: in the freezer. Are you crazy? Damn mine, No, no, no,
- 49:32Speaker 1: I'm dead serious. I'm dead serios. Bro. So I'm like
- 49:35Speaker 1: I said, you can highly recommend it. You know what,
- 49:37Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get somebody to show me a
- 49:38Speaker 1: little love. Man. You got those freezes, you don't have
- 49:40Speaker 1: nothing in them, you know, I just needed for a
- 49:42Speaker 1: couple of days. You gotta be out of your mind.
- 49:45Speaker 1: We're not talking about ice. This isn't chicken wings or
- 49:48Speaker 1: reports shoulder. He's a people. You are out of your mind, man,
- 49:53Speaker 1: But but listen to me, then listen to what I'm
- 49:55Speaker 1: gonna you understand how serious is is I have to
- 49:58Speaker 1: keep them frozen. That's the reason why I'm calling I'm
- 50:01Speaker 1: needing your help, man, Yeah, I understand that. Look, if
- 50:04Speaker 1: you want to, I'll have you come in to buy
- 50:06Speaker 1: your own freezer. You can put your own bodies in
- 50:08Speaker 1: your own freezer. How muck to show off my show
- 50:11Speaker 1: room with frozen bodies and the freezer. But just just
- 50:15Speaker 1: don't just don't show that going for a couple of days,
- 50:17Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Don't just don't show it
- 50:19Speaker 1: all way? It just come you know what? You know
- 50:21Speaker 1: what here? What we could do. We could put the
- 50:23Speaker 1: bodies in there, just cover them up and people don't
- 50:25Speaker 1: want to know what it is. Yeah, and then I
- 50:27Speaker 1: get a buyer that comes in and the cover falls
- 50:29Speaker 1: off it and I got a frozen dead body and
- 50:31Speaker 1: my freezer. Is that even illegal? I don't know. Man.
- 50:34Speaker 1: All I'm saying is there's a deal. Man, you can't
- 50:37Speaker 1: highly recommended. They told me that you would probably show
- 50:39Speaker 1: me so love. I'm actually, you know, getting ready to
- 50:43Speaker 1: load up and come your way. Dude, you can't those
- 50:47Speaker 1: dead bodies away from my store. I'm telling you right now,
- 50:50Speaker 1: I can't hook you up on this one, all right.
- 50:52Speaker 1: I just can't do it, Okay, But we shouldn't to
- 50:55Speaker 1: load up and come that way though. Man, So you
- 50:57Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. It's I mean, what am I
- 51:00Speaker 1: supposed to do? I have no you know what you
- 51:03Speaker 1: want to come talk to me. You want to buy
- 51:04Speaker 1: a freezer for yourself, and you want to freeze your
- 51:07Speaker 1: dead bodies on your own. I don't care. I'll tell
- 51:09Speaker 1: you a freezer. I got no problem with telling me
- 51:12Speaker 1: a freezer. But you're not bringing the bodies here. It's
- 51:14Speaker 1: just not happening. So if Alonzo, if Alonzo calls you
- 51:19Speaker 1: and green lights it is it, okay, then I highly down.
- 51:24Speaker 1: Alonzo's gonna call me and tell me to put three
- 51:27Speaker 1: dead bodies and wait on our showroom for freezers. I
- 51:32Speaker 1: made out that. Okay, okay, but but guess what Alonzo
- 51:36Speaker 1: told me? What did Alonzo? I'm telling you Alonzo told
- 51:41Speaker 1: me to give you a call. He told me to
- 51:43Speaker 1: give you a pot phone call. This is not from
- 51:46Speaker 1: the Steve. Come on, are you serious? Yes? Yes, I'm
- 51:57Speaker 1: having my chester. Oh oh jeez, that guy. You just
- 52:03Speaker 1: you just got pranked by your GM baby. That's why
- 52:06Speaker 1: a happening right here? All right, man, give me one
- 52:10Speaker 1: more thing. You gotta tell me this is right here? Deal?
- 52:12Speaker 1: What is the baddest that I'm talking about, the baddest
- 52:15Speaker 1: radio show in the land. It is the Steve Harvey
- 52:18Speaker 1: Morning Show, My friend, Come on, come on, what come
- 52:22Speaker 1: on and give me songs? Get boy pranking from dubot. Okay,
- 52:29Speaker 1: we're trying to bury a person. But we don't you know,
- 52:32Speaker 1: we didn't ran out of space, and we just need
- 52:33Speaker 1: a little room, little freezer room, you know. But who
- 52:38Speaker 1: lends their freezer anyway or a dead person? But all right,

- 54:20Speaker 1: Here it is strawberry. Let us thank you, nephew. Subjects
- 54:29Speaker 1: started from the bottom. Now we're here. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:33Speaker 1: I'm a twenty nine year old married woman who's married
- 54:36Speaker 1: to a forty four year old man. When I met him,
- 54:40Speaker 1: I was twenty four, and I fell in love with him.
- 54:42Speaker 1: Because I was so ready to move out of my
- 54:45Speaker 1: mom's house, I moved in with him a few months
- 54:48Speaker 1: later he proposed to me. Then we hit rock bottom
- 54:52Speaker 1: and he lost the house. For three months, we had
- 54:54Speaker 1: to live with my mother and I was in health
- 54:58Speaker 1: all over again. We got on her feet and got
- 55:00Speaker 1: an apartment not far from my mother's house. My mother
- 55:03Speaker 1: was giving me money to get basic things I needed
- 55:06Speaker 1: when I fell short. My husband didn't know about it.
- 55:09Speaker 1: He found out and confronted my mother about making him
- 55:12Speaker 1: seem like less than a man, and she said he
- 55:14Speaker 1: was my husband. And my mom didn't speak for months,
- 55:18Speaker 1: and then one day I went by my mom's house
- 55:21Speaker 1: and I saw my husband's car there. I walked in
- 55:25Speaker 1: and he was scrambling eggs in the kitchen and my
- 55:28Speaker 1: mom was in the shower. I went and pulled my
- 55:32Speaker 1: mother out of the shower, and she tried to fight me.
- 55:36Speaker 1: My husband and my mother told me they've been messing
- 55:39Speaker 1: around since we lived with her. My husband said he's
- 55:42Speaker 1: only sleeping with my mother and cooking for her because
- 55:45Speaker 1: he owes her money. My mother said she's happy to
- 55:51Speaker 1: get it anyway she can. I have no positive female
- 55:54Speaker 1: role model in my life, and now I'm married to
- 55:57Speaker 1: a man that sells his soul to get bills paid.
- 56:01Speaker 1: I have put my husband out and he's staying with
- 56:04Speaker 1: his brother. He's been begging me to come back to
- 56:07Speaker 1: our apartment, but I can't believe he fell for my
- 56:09Speaker 1: mother's schemes and was sleeping with her. He's just as
- 56:13Speaker 1: damaged by her as I am. So I feel like
- 56:15Speaker 1: I need to be kind to him and give him
- 56:18Speaker 1: a second chance. Should I forgive him or not? What
- 56:24Speaker 1: this letter is really really really out there? And people
- 56:28Speaker 1: think we make this stuff up? How can we? How
- 56:30Speaker 1: can we make this up? All? Right? Should you forgive
- 56:33Speaker 1: him or not? I mean, eventually, of course I'll tell
- 56:36Speaker 1: you to forgive him. That's always the best way, but
- 56:39Speaker 1: you you mout, Steve may feel otherwise. Eventually. I didn't
- 56:46Speaker 1: say go back to him, but you know, in order
- 56:48Speaker 1: to move on with your life. But your man, and
- 56:50Speaker 1: your your your mom and your husband. But but I
- 56:52Speaker 1: have to say mostly your mom in this instance, because
- 56:55Speaker 1: you are her daughter. Oh there's no way she should be,
- 56:59Speaker 1: you know, do this with your husband. There's just no way.
- 57:03Speaker 1: This is sick. This is craziness. Your husband, he's crazy
- 57:09Speaker 1: too for even thinking that he had to do this.
- 57:12Speaker 1: I don't believe it for a second. He's sleeping with
- 57:13Speaker 1: her to get the bills paid. He's just sleeping with
- 57:15Speaker 1: her because he wanted to sleep with her, because she
- 57:18Speaker 1: wanted him to sleep with her. I mean, they have
- 57:20Speaker 1: a whole set of other circumstances going on with them.
- 57:23Speaker 1: But you know, don't make excuses for him. He's just
- 57:27Speaker 1: as damaged by her as you are. That might be
- 57:29Speaker 1: the case with so what he knows right from wrong.
- 57:31Speaker 1: He's a grown forty four year old man. No, do
- 57:35Speaker 1: not give him a second chance. He doesn't deserve a
- 57:37Speaker 1: second chance. That was just too low down. I think
- 57:41Speaker 1: you should move on with your life. You know, even
- 57:44Speaker 1: if you have to stop speaking to your mom for
- 57:46Speaker 1: a while and move on with your life. You need
- 57:49Speaker 1: to put this behind you. That's what I say, Steve.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Everybody isn't that crazy? For sure. Yeah, Stephen Sherley, I'm
- 58:00Speaker 1: a twenty nine year old married woman married to a
- 58:02Speaker 1: forty four year old man. Here's where the letter takes
- 58:05Speaker 1: a dive. When I met him, I was twenty four.
- 58:09Speaker 1: I fell in love with him because I was so
- 58:12Speaker 1: ready to move out of my mom's house. That's why
- 58:16Speaker 1: you fell in love with him? Or is that why
- 58:19Speaker 1: you said you loved him? See, I don't really believe
- 58:23Speaker 1: you fell in love with him. I just needed you
- 58:25Speaker 1: needed a man for convenience. I moved in with him.
- 58:29Speaker 1: A few months later he proposed to me. Then we
- 58:32Speaker 1: hit rock bottom and he lost the house. He was
- 58:35Speaker 1: losing that house before that. You know, you just moved
- 58:40Speaker 1: at a few months later he proposed me, and he
- 58:43Speaker 1: lost the house. You don't lose a house in a
- 58:44Speaker 1: few months. He was already in the process of losing
- 58:47Speaker 1: that house. For three months. We had to live with
- 58:51Speaker 1: my mother, and I was in hell all over again.
- 58:55Speaker 1: We got back on our feet, got an apartment not
- 58:58Speaker 1: far from my mother's house, but other mistakes. My mother
- 59:02Speaker 1: was giving me money to get some basic stuff that
- 59:06Speaker 1: I needed when I fell short, and your husband didn't
- 59:08Speaker 1: know about it, you said, he found out confront of
- 59:10Speaker 1: my mother about making him seem less than a man,
- 59:13Speaker 1: and she said, he was Your is last than the man,
- 59:19Speaker 1: Your is last than the man. The way you're doing
- 59:21Speaker 1: my daughter over here with me frying these eggs and everything,
- 59:27Speaker 1: just in here, frying in just in here, making aggs,
- 59:32Speaker 1: scrambling the ads, you know, and who who what is I?
- 59:37Speaker 1: Whoa who is I baking? We got back on their feet.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Mother's giving me money for basic stuff. My husband didn't
- 59:45Speaker 1: know about it. He found out confront of my mother
- 59:47Speaker 1: making him seem less than a man. She said he
- 59:49Speaker 1: was my husband, and my mom didn't speak for months.
- 59:55Speaker 1: That's what you think, See, that's what you think. And
- 59:59Speaker 1: then one day I went by my mom's house. I
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: saw my husband's card in. You just think that morning
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: they started talking again. Well, you walked in and he
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: was scramming the eggs in the kitchen, just in there,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: just beating him up like he'd work at the Waffa house.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Just in there, got a little whisked. He don't watch
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: what just in there, just chopping it, flipping eggs up,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: chopping on using stuff. He and that salty. He just
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: looked like the chef at the waffa house. You could
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: have hollered your order to it. Hang on, Steve, hang on,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters. Subject
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: we started from the bottom. Now we're here. We'll get
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening Steve Morning Show.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Subject started from the bottom. Now we're here, Hi, This
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: letter is about three ignorant people. Twenty nine year old
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: married woman married to a forty four year old man,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: fell in love at twenty four and loved him right
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: away because she was just ready to move out of
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: mom's house. This is not love. This is a relationship
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: built on convenience. So you moved in with him. A
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: few months later he proposed to you. Then y'all hit
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: rock bottom. He lost the house after three months. If
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: you get married and lose a house, he was already
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: losing that house, all right, And we had to live
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: with my mother, and I was in hell all over again.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: We got back on after he got apartment not far
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: from a mama's house, and your mama was giving you
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: money for basic things you needed when you fail. Short
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: husband didn't know about it. He confronted your mama, said,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: you're making me feel less than a man. She said
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: he was my husband and mom didn't speak for months.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: That's what you think, That's what you thought. And then
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: you went by your mama's house. You saw your husband's
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: calling there. I walked in. He was scrambling eggs in
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: the kitchen. He just in there, He just in that
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: scrambling eggs, and my mom was in the shower. So now,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: without any discussion, you wouldn't pull it. Your mama out
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: to shower, and she tried to fight me. Now, I
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: don't really know what it is to be a woman,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: so I can't argue it. But I do know how
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: hard it is to fight naked. I do know. I've
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: tried it. I've tried it. You can't win that fight nither.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: So I wouldn't pull the mother out. She tried to
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: fight me. My husband and my mother set you down
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: and told her they've been messing around since they live
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: with the mama. My husband said he's only sleeping with
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: my mother and cooking for her because he owes her mother.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: How much did he fall? Why? I got to sleep
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: with your mama's body is a lot on You do
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: know that most people of mama look like day mama moles.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: People's mama look like they's somebody's mama. Yeah, so something
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: happened in here unless your mama is one of them.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Exception to the rules. But if you and your mother's
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: relationship ain't worth a dog one and now your husband
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: say he's sleeping with her and cook because he owe
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: her money, then your mama tells you she happy to
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: get it anyway she can. So she said that to
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: hurt you. She that hell you was in at your
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: mama's house. It's coming back now, Shirley talking about forgive
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: him eventually. I don't know. I don't know what Shirley
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: talking about. Ain'tybody can't let this though, But let me
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: show you how stupid to let it get. I have
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: no positive female role model in my life, and now
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I'm married to a man that sells his souls to
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: get the bills pay. I have to put my husband
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: out and he's staying with his brother. Are you shure?
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I don't think so. Are you sure? Brother? I'm not sure.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: He's been begging me to come back to our part.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: But I can't believe he failed for my mother's schemes
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: and we're sleeping with her. Wait a minute, how have
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you diverted all of this? And it's your mama? Fuck?
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I can't believe he failed for her schemes? What skin?
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I don't know what scheme you're talking about. You want
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: some of this? Huh? I'm gonna send your Valentine's called
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: check yes or no? Block that's the last time I
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: called it. She's mama. You want to do that at all?
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Want some pudding? That's there's some good putting due this
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: tappy okle? Yeah? What you want to do? Now? You're
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: sitting over there? What is your way? Now? Listen, I'm
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: laying on the bed. What's on the floor? They missed
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: my breast on the floor? Oh my god, don't step
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: on it when you're getting the bed. M M well,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: waiting on you to rock my world? The visualist killing me?
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: M hit it? Yes, sir, your son? Now beat me
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: like a pastor, tap me, do this, do this to me?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Make me sing a him look a hill all right here?
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Good lord boy? You love it like a runaway boy?
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Are you boy? Are you loving on me like you're
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: going somewhere. Boy, you you mustn't have your back to
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: the river head North brought it some good loving right here.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Ain't had no love like this is now. That Turner,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: that Turner put on me one time, him and Shatcher
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: got in a fight over me. Shatcher page baseball play
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: good love and then he gro leagues, Oh well it
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: was for me back. He's just as damaged by her
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: as I am. So I feel like I need to
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: be kind to him and give him a second chance. Hey,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: listen to me. You need to get all these people
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: out of your life, all these people. Should I forgive
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: him or not? No, no, no, I hate him because
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: all he gonna do is hurt you again. And as
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: far as your mama go, but don't you can come.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Y'all want to stay here. She's keep him closet. One
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: thing he show can't make some open me? All right?
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Leave your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey FM,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: and check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Coming
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: up next, we're gonna talk about Dubai. There's a big,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: a big expo going on in Dubai. We'll talk about
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to show. All right,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: So Steve, we're here in Dubai like we we've been
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: talking about all week for the last couple of days. Anyways,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: by beautiful, Yeah, the weather's here and we're here for
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: the world. You can Uh Anthony Anderson, Chris Tucker, uh
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Malik Yoba, yeah, um Ahmad Rashad. You can go to
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: several people's Instagram and see what they were doing out
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: of the African Pavilion. African Pavilions outstanding and beautiful. Man
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Chef Coco, who owns a restaurant in South Africa called Epicure,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: who I and did my birthday dinner in Africa? Chef
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Coco is the top chef out there at the African Pavilion.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: What can you say to them to encourage them to
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: expose themselves to well, listen to me. At the World Expo,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: you can come. It's like take the Epcot Center at
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Distant World, blow it up times three hundred. That's what
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: the World Expo is. It's but it's every country. Every
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: country's represented in some way, but Africa is over there, big,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: big I'm talking about they really it's not like chaos
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: or nothing. They have an entire building. What Dubai did
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: was they built these this multi billion dollars city. It's
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: an entire city for you to go and explore technology, programming,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: the future, medicine, agriculture, everything that's happening around the world.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Every country has represented it there and you go, they gott.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I'll be speaking at the entrepreneurship program on the sixth.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: I'll be speaking at the religious form on the seventh.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I have two other moments. You all be gone.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Well when you go back, I stay because I have
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: to do to entrepreneurship program for young people globally and
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: then the religious form And it's a lot have you
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: been doing to prepare for that? Because that's interesting. I'm
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: just sharing my views. Really what it is, man. I
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: I have so many Muslim friends, so many people from
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: the religion of Islam, and I found so many similarities.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: I was actually alarmed at their understanding and belief in
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. I didn't know, but they honor that, they
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: respect that, they know it. Ex they don't go no, no, no,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: that never happened. No, they know it happened. And so
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: it's a lot of similarities. Man. And when people can
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: sit down and start talking to one another. You'll find
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: out that we're very much the same. So that religious
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: form is going to be quite interesting. Yeah, but it's
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: a lot. Man, He's beautiful. Okay, Well, I can't wait.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: It'll be going on until March of next year, the
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Dubai World Expo twenty twenty. All right, we'll be back
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at the
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: top of the hour. Right after this you're listening to show. Well,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: let's talk about work for a minute and having a
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: work friend, like a best friend at work, it could
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: prevent people from quitting their jobs. This is according to experts.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Workplace consultant and former Twitter vice president Bruce Daisley says
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: that maintaining healthy friendships at work can motivate people to
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: remain employed with a company. In his newsletter that's called
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Make Work Better, Daisily stated that workplace friendships are created
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: through a sense of shared experience. People who work together
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: every day share the same space and encounters with others
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: there Therefore, this causes them to grow closer, and there
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: is data to back up that theory. Back in twenty eighteen,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Gallup reported that sixty three percent of women who had
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: a work best friend work over twice as likely were
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: over twice as likely to be engaged during work hours.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: So you guys find it, that's true. I mean, you know,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: we all work together. I think if we didn't have
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: the relationship that we have, I don't think this could
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: have lasted. Yeah. Yeah, because I'm not coming up in
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: here and don't like y'all. I'm paying nothing. Oh you're
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: going to be sitting over there and looking at me
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: just straight, ye, be at home. I don't think he
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: liked it. I just get this feeling. Yeah. Well I'll
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: tell you what a check helps too. Yeah. Well, of course,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: if you can make the friendship, I like you, I
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: just gotta work with you. Well I have a lot
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: of those jobs, or not a lot of them, but
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: I've had jobs in this business where I just did
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: it for the change. Yeah, I didn't enjoy the people
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: I worked with exactly. That what affects you? That's you know?
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: It does? It really really does. Because we've worked together
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: for quite some time. I mean years, yeah, over ten years,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: all of us, fifteen, right, I mean we have been
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: involved in our families milestones and everything. Well I was,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I was since your daughter board Yes, yeah, my daughter
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: will be fourteen in January. I think Sheridan was three
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: three three, Yeah, you're three. All our kids say, yeah,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: it's crazy, man, we've seen them grow up. So we're
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: close like that. We see each other practically more than
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: at a witting Yeah you did, yeah, and that's almost
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: been seven years ago. Poem. Yeah, you did a reading
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: from First Corinthia for first chapter thirteen. Okay, Tashaw flower girl,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: he did, he did, he did. Monica was a hostess, Yeah,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: she sure was. I mean Carla, we went through your
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: pregnancy with you practically, yeah, because you had to take
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: some time yea for a minute, Yeah, I was on favorous.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Steve shipped a bunch of diapers US driver Kate about
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: house to say how many babies you had? You use all?
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Thank you, sir, and tell me we went through your
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: wife's pregnancy with Jordans with with Jordan, that's right. I
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: was just trying to remember. We did Sydney. Sydney's a
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: senior in high school. Yes, wow, Yeah, we've been through
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: a lot together and got her eyes on Texas. Ain't
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: do something crazy? What's where you went? Right? And her mother?
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: I wouldn't don't do I was I was hoping for
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: USC Stanford. I was a lot of stuff. Yeah, I was.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I was hoping all that kacky and brigging. I even
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: do Spellman out there, come on. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's true,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: it really is. We've been through a lot together. We
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: really have. Thank God for that divorce. Yeah we went.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Let's see, I went, Yeah, I went to Oh divorce,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: that's right. I was married when I first met you see,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: not to yeah, my first us. Yeah, it was getting
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: a little sticky. Yeah, they the only one can have them.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: I was married to a couple of people started running
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: together from Yeah, I was leaving. People are going, I
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: got to do it out of here. I can't do
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: this a lot having we you know, I was honored
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: my vials though, I did you know to death? Do
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: you party? As soon as I felt like I was dying?
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: All right, that's about the pay for working was a
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: happy Yeah. All right. We'll have more of the Stave
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up a twenty minutes after right
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: after this Caramel to Day. You're listening to show. Well,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: doctor Oz, the doctor we all love, okay, about to
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: do something different. Doctor Oz is planning on a run
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: for a US Senate seat in Pennsylvania. All right, that's different, now,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: this is all according to TMZ. Sources tell TMZ that
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: doctor Oz has just made a multimillion dollar media buy
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: in Pennsylvania and it's a media by to push his
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: impending candidacy. Though he hasn't made an official announcement. TIMZ
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: says doctor Oz has hired a full campaign staff, including
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Chris Hansen, to manage his campaign. Ain't Hanson ran the
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: National Republican Senator Senatorial Committee. Doctor Oz will reportedly run
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: as a Republican for the seat, which is now occupied

- 1:18:35Speaker 1: It's not I don't like them. I didn't have seaweed,

- 1:18:46Speaker 1: on the floor. All the rocks was in the floors,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: and the hot let them sick. As soon as they
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: dropped that rock on me, my body went, what the hell? Reject? Reject? Okay,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: would you rather? Would you rather shave off all your
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: facial hair, pluting your guys mustache and your and your eyebrows,

- 1:19:17Speaker 1: all right, that's I can't shave my eyebrows. I'd had
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: my mustache already, looked ignorant, crazy, I look like Shrek.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: You wouldn't shave your beer temming, No you go? That's
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: all I got left mustache, all you got brow all?
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: No you said all the facial y'all? Facial hair? Yeah no, no,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: I need all it. You wouldn't do it? Okay, all right.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: A lot of people are saying that m Dubai kind
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: of reminds them of Vegas, so here, it's not at

- 1:20:13Speaker 1: a liqustow, a check, cash in place, and a pawn
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: shop and a bail bomb. All that at one strip

- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Thank you Steve Harvey. Yeah, we're gonna hate to say
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: bye to Dubai. Camel's up, all right, So Steve, in

- 1:20:55Speaker 1: special announcement about your brand new clothing line coming up,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: and we have a special guest so here. It is
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: the new Tie collection is the first capsule that would
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: launch you, and all you gotta do to check it
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: out is go to H by Steve Harvey dot com.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: H by Steve Harvey dot com. Y'all ain't been visiting
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: the site obviously, I haven't been on it. So let's
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: go H by Steve Harvey dot com. Everybody go to
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: H by Steve Harvey dot com. Beautiful ties. I know
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: you buy ties for you, me and life at Christmas
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: and five bunch stuff. We don't want you. Put him
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: into Steve Harvey Tie H collection tie and learn them now.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: The man behind these new designs is a guy that
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: I hired as my stylist a couple of years ago,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: and he's been doing a wonderful job. He's here, ladies
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: and gentlemen, for the first time on the Steve Harvey
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: Morning Show from quart vall Via, Paris, France. Quart Ball.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: Please welcome Quartevo. Don't worry about this Houston. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: What's up? Up? What's up? Finally, finally, I've been dying
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: to be here. Happy. I love this show. So we
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: love what you Sorry, Carla, we love what you've been
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: doing with Steve. You've changed this whole look completely. Now
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: he's a fashion icon. Now people are looking at him
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: for a fashion forward, fashion forward looks, and we attribute
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: that you really absolutely, Uh, don't be shocked, but it's been.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: It's been such a great collaboration working with mister Harvey.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: He's an electric performer. He's so witty, and he's so
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: into the fashion and the arts, and for his age,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: he's such a great example to show. So I think
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: it was such a natural collaboration that we had to
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: get because he's to me, one of the greatest examples
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: to display for guys after forty because a lot of
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: guys just give up, you know, visually, and now that
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: we've been working together and pushing the boundaries of fashion,
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: guys are so much more inspired. They take more time
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: in the morning and the afternoon for date night, for rehearsal,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: for the daughter, for the stars, and they look at
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: mister Harvey's Instagram as their format, you know. So I
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: thank you, mister Harry. Well I think well, I think
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: it's both because now after all the recognition that we've
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: been hat we've been having, we've been receiving, I think
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: people see the connection between both pages. If they want
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: to see more details to probably go on my page,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: but if they want to see the finished product, they're
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: going on his page. Okay, yeah, yeah, So now this
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: is a whole collection you guys are doing. So you
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: started with the tie. Yes, full collection. So we've been
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: working with it for about two years. Um, it's a full,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: complete collection, but we're releasing it in segments, in capsules. Yeah,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: I want it. I didn't want it to just attack
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: the audience, and I didn't want to scare the existing
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: audience because we do have an existing customer. A lot
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: of those customers were are getting a little bit older.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: So we revamped it. But I wanted to get something
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: that they used to so I wanted to condition them
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: with the standard, which is the tie. The tie you
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: need for support, you need it for date night, you
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: need it for your birthdays. What we did was changed
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: the dimension. I trimmed the tie. Slimmer's much slimmer. It's
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: much more modern, much more European. Um, mister Harvey, why
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: what's happening? Why you? Why are you sleepy? Because you
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: bore me? That doing good? You ain't have to look
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: over You're doing great. Girl ahead, you know at what
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: you know? You want to start with the time, because
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: that's what guys want, and that's what guys are used
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: to with the Steve Harvey name, and little by little,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: we're just gonna shock them a little bit by little.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: And I didn't want to just utilize this moment because
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: I don't I don't think it's just a moment. I
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: think that we're real it's the future. I think we're
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: doing something really, really, really dope. The thing we've noticed
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: about Steve, of course, and he's spoken about it as well,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: is the color. And we see that you are rocking
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: this like bright orange to suit and it's beautiful. So
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: is that what you brought into it? The color situation?
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: And then the macaroni look where they got everything is
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: the same color? That's what what chrome attic? Oh, I'm
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: so embarrassed. So so yeah, tell us about the color
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: in your relationship with color and what color does. And
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: I love I've always loved color because it brings the
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: person alive like a lot of a lot of the time.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: How it worked with colors um with mister Harvey, the
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: system we take so many shows at first with family food,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: I try to get the most vibrant colors at the
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: end of the day, like the six shows, so he
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: can wake up and it feels like it's a new
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: day and it's electrifying. But I've always loved colors because
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: it's it speaks to people. You know, when you a
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: lot of the times you're just tired and you don't
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: want to get dressed, and when you finally get dressed,
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: come on and you finally get dressed, and what you
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: finally get just you just feel like a new guy.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: You just feel like you feel sexy, feels and it
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: just speaks well, thank you for Jordan's today. For a minute,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: Wait a minute, wait a minute, it's time to go.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: We had a great day today over h by Steve Harvey,
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: and I will be back. He's doing a great job.
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: Now you're doing a great job. Look good. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: he's an example. Yeah, good night, Thanks for lot. We'll
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: see you tomorrow. Terry Voyd, we're prohibited. Participants must be
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: legal US residents at least eighteen years old, unless otherwise stated.
