- 0:15Speaker 3: a million boozy.

- 1:27Speaker 3: We got to turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Turn You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out,
- 1:46Speaker 4: turn the money.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you'll think that, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You all listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 6: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:12Speaker 6: old man, oh Man symbolizes just one thing to me. Man,
- 2:16Speaker 6: It's just a constant remind of exactly how good God
- 2:19Speaker 6: has been to me over the years. And I'm thanking
- 2:22Speaker 6: for it too, because I realize every day that I
- 2:24Speaker 6: wake up that I would be nothing without Him. That
- 2:27Speaker 6: everything I am that's any good in me, I owe
- 2:31Speaker 6: to him.
- 2:32Speaker 7: Now.
- 2:32Speaker 6: Have I made some mistakes along the way? Yep, bunches,
- 2:37Speaker 6: bunches and bunches. And will I continue to make mistakes
- 2:41Speaker 6: along the way yep? Not as many, hopefully as I
- 2:46Speaker 6: have in the past, because a lot of stuff I
- 2:49Speaker 6: know better now.
- 2:51Speaker 2: But you're still going to make mistakes.
- 2:54Speaker 6: Now. You know, hopefully I've limited the amount of intentional
- 2:59Speaker 6: error in my life. I've wiped quite a few of
- 3:03Speaker 6: those out. But from time to time, because we're a human,
- 3:07Speaker 6: we're going to make a mistake every now and then.
- 3:09Speaker 6: The trick, what it is, y'all, is not to let
- 3:12Speaker 6: the devil deceive you into thinking that once you make
- 3:14Speaker 6: that mistake, that that's it.
- 3:16Speaker 2: You can't do it.
- 3:17Speaker 6: You're falling off the wagon. You can't reboard it. That's
- 3:21Speaker 6: the biggest trick that he uses. He makes you think
- 3:25Speaker 6: that if you keep stumbling, that you can't run the race.
- 3:32Speaker 6: It kind of reminds me of a marathon runner. From
- 3:36Speaker 6: time to time I watch them on TV, and you'll
- 3:39Speaker 6: see some people who finish the race, you know, in
- 3:44Speaker 6: a nice pace. You see people finish the race sprinting
- 3:49Speaker 6: towards the finished line. But every now and then you'll
- 3:53Speaker 6: watch a marathon and you'll see a runner and the
- 3:57Speaker 6: runner is in really, really a bad shape.
- 4:02Speaker 2: The key is they finish the race.
- 4:06Speaker 6: See, you don't get disqualified in the marathon because you stumble.
- 4:13Speaker 2: You don't. They don't. They don't take your opportunity to
- 4:17Speaker 2: finish the race because you keep falling. It's not the key.
- 4:23Speaker 2: The key is finishing.
- 4:25Speaker 6: And a lot of times what the devil does is
- 4:27Speaker 6: he makes you think that because you keep stumbling, because
- 4:31Speaker 6: you're swaying from side to side, that you know you
- 4:35Speaker 6: out the race. Well that's not the case. And see
- 4:39Speaker 6: and then this thing called life, let me help you
- 4:41Speaker 6: understand something. Everybody falls, Nobody sprints to the tape in
- 4:45Speaker 6: this one. Nobody just runs free and clear. That has
- 4:49Speaker 6: some people running faster than you and all like this,
- 4:52Speaker 6: and some people gonna get to the end before you
- 4:54Speaker 6: let them go ahead. And when the end come, the
- 4:57Speaker 6: end come. I ain't in the rust.
- 4:58Speaker 2: You get to the end.
- 4:59Speaker 6: But in this race, though, when you're stumbling and you're falling,
- 5:03Speaker 6: it's a part of it. No one gets through this
- 5:06Speaker 6: race without stumbling and falling, swaying from side to side.
- 5:10Speaker 6: So don't let the enemy to see you in the
- 5:14Speaker 6: thinking that it's over. I try to be encouraging to
- 5:19Speaker 6: people because I don't want people to get stuck on
- 5:22Speaker 6: this thing, you know. And my walk is very different
- 5:25Speaker 6: from a lot of people's walks. And then I know
- 5:27Speaker 6: a lot of people who walking in faith the way
- 5:30Speaker 6: I'm walking in faith. But my thing in the morning
- 5:32Speaker 6: is just to remind those that is not a perfect
- 5:35Speaker 6: walk man, that it's not something that's set up where
- 5:40Speaker 6: you're gonna be skipping through life scott free without any pitfalls.
- 5:45Speaker 6: You know, I keep saying it over and over and
- 5:47Speaker 6: over again because, like I said, when I was in DC,
- 5:51Speaker 6: my boy Hondo said this to me and it just
- 5:53Speaker 6: kind of stuck with me that the road to construct,
- 5:56Speaker 6: the road to success is always under construction. Have to
- 6:00Speaker 6: figure and count on the setbacks and the pitfalls. But
- 6:04Speaker 6: it's those people that that that that are that fight
- 6:08Speaker 6: through will be the victors in the end. You cannot
- 6:12Speaker 6: give up, man, Stop going somewhere and sitting down every
- 6:16Speaker 6: time something goes down. It's going to go down. It's
- 6:20Speaker 6: a part of it. It's going to happen. It's going
- 6:24Speaker 6: to occur that are going to be setbacks. If you
- 6:27Speaker 6: go and sit down every time there's a setback, that's
- 6:31Speaker 6: not how this works. It is designed that way. If
- 6:35Speaker 6: success were easy, everybody would be successful. But success is
- 6:42Speaker 6: just reserved for those who are willing to fight through,
- 6:45Speaker 6: who refuse to settle for mediocrity, who wants something more. Now,
- 6:51Speaker 6: don't get me wrong, success is defined by each individual.
- 6:56Speaker 6: So what I may consider to be successful, you may
- 6:58Speaker 6: not consider that. You know what Bill Gates considered successful.
- 7:03Speaker 6: I might not consider what Michael Jordan considered successful. I
- 7:07Speaker 6: might not consider what you consider successful. Your boss might
- 7:11Speaker 6: not consider. You have to define what that is for yourself.
- 7:15Speaker 6: It may not be monetary at all. You know, your
- 7:19Speaker 6: level of success could be tied up in community service.
- 7:22Speaker 6: It could be tied up in family. It could be
- 7:25Speaker 6: tied up in the church. Your level of success could
- 7:28Speaker 6: be tied up into boys clubs. It could be any
- 7:31Speaker 6: number of things. Whatever your level of success is, you
- 7:36Speaker 6: have to determine what that is you and the best
- 7:38Speaker 6: way to determine that is to get in touch with
- 7:42Speaker 6: your maker, who created you, to find out what your
- 7:46Speaker 6: mission and your purpose is so he can put you
- 7:49Speaker 6: on track. I just had this conversation with my son
- 7:53Speaker 6: and we were talking about getting on the path that
- 7:57Speaker 6: God has set up for you. Many times we find
- 8:01Speaker 6: ourselves fighting through life because of so much uncertainty, because
- 8:05Speaker 6: we have no idea where we're headed.
- 8:09Speaker 2: It's like one of my.
- 8:13Speaker 6: Sayings that I have at my mentoring camp for boys
- 8:16Speaker 6: is is that a boy without a male role model
- 8:20Speaker 6: is like an explorer without a map. See if you
- 8:26Speaker 6: don't have a map laid out in front of you
- 8:29Speaker 6: of where you're going when you wake up every day.
- 8:34Speaker 6: That pretty much explains the feeling of confusion, the laxadaisical attitude,
- 8:41Speaker 6: the lack of purpose, to not understanding your mission because
- 8:48Speaker 6: you don't have not gotten in touch with your creator
- 8:51Speaker 6: to find out exactly what your path in life is.
- 8:56Speaker 6: What are you supposed to be doing? The moment you
- 8:58Speaker 6: can identify that is the moment that you get started
- 9:03Speaker 6: waking up with purpose, with the sense of direction. When
- 9:07Speaker 6: you kill the sense of I don't know what's next
- 9:10Speaker 6: or what to do. Now, there's going to be some
- 9:12Speaker 6: confusing moments no matter what happened, it's going to be
- 9:14Speaker 6: some uncertainty, but at least you'll know where you're going.
- 9:18Speaker 6: So if you're tied a waking up feeling loss, abandon confuse,
- 9:23Speaker 6: don't know what to do, don't know what you're supposed
- 9:26Speaker 6: to be doing, refer back to your maker because when
- 9:31Speaker 6: he created you, he had a plan for you. When
- 9:35Speaker 6: he created you, he had a path for you. Now
- 9:38Speaker 6: we've made some decisions to get off of both of those,
- 9:41Speaker 6: the mission and the path but God can get you
- 9:44Speaker 6: right back on track. Do that today, ask him what
- 9:49Speaker 6: you're supposed to be doing, and listen. God has all
- 9:54Speaker 6: the answers if you form the relationship.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Okay, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen. Uh, you know, I'm just gonna say
- 10:09Speaker 2: I'm grateful.
- 10:10Speaker 6: I'm grateful every for everything, all of it, the situations
- 10:15Speaker 6: i'm in that I know he'll pull me through the
- 10:19Speaker 6: decisions I have to make.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I know if I trust in him, he'll provide an
- 10:24Speaker 2: answer these things.
- 10:26Speaker 8: I know.
- 10:28Speaker 6: So I'm just gonna say I'm grateful today for all
- 10:32Speaker 6: He's done for me, for whatever measure of health you
- 10:35Speaker 6: might have today, all of it. Just know this, man,
- 10:40Speaker 6: God is right there, right there. So just say I'm
- 10:47Speaker 6: just say I'm thankful. Just try it, man, make a
- 10:49Speaker 6: list of stuff to be grateful for. Try it, because
- 10:52Speaker 6: you if you stop focusing on what you don't have
- 10:55Speaker 6: and what happened, and put your focus on what He's
- 10:58Speaker 6: done for you, what you do have and what's going
- 11:01Speaker 6: to happen, you have a better day.
- 11:03Speaker 2: You have a better outlook. That's all I can tell you.
- 11:05Speaker 6: Steve harfor Morning Show Shirley Strawberry called the for real
- 11:09Speaker 6: Mississippi Monica Junior to come back kid and the legend
- 11:12Speaker 6: of Nephew Tommy.
- 11:14Speaker 2: What's going on, Junior?
- 11:16Speaker 9: Well, let's talk about that list.
- 11:18Speaker 10: Remember unc used to tell us about making a list
- 11:20Speaker 10: to be grateful, and it's about four hundred things that
- 11:22Speaker 10: we're supposed to write down.
- 11:24Speaker 9: And see it started getting hard about around one hundred.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Well, have you quit when you're getting it a little
- 11:30Speaker 2: bit confused? Okay?
- 11:32Speaker 6: The list of things to be grateful for it's different
- 11:37Speaker 6: than the list of things you want. Okay, So the
- 11:41Speaker 6: list of things you want when you just started out
- 11:44Speaker 6: should have about four hundred things on it. It just
- 11:46Speaker 6: gonna get real tough after one hundred because your mind
- 11:49Speaker 6: ain't expanded yet and you haven't exercised that muscle of
- 11:54Speaker 6: just opening up your mind to all possibilities.
- 11:58Speaker 2: And so that's the difference.
- 11:59Speaker 10: But go ahead, yeah, okay, Well, for what is the
- 12:02Speaker 10: list about us being grateful? When you say write this
- 12:04Speaker 10: list down about being grateful? How many is that you
- 12:06Speaker 10: want us to do?
- 12:07Speaker 6: Well, it's it's what all you everybody lists gonna be
- 12:09Speaker 6: different with that grateful that Well, everybody's list should be
- 12:12Speaker 6: start with the same thing. I'm grateful for your presence.
- 12:15Speaker 6: That's that's good to be grateful for. You know, you're
- 12:17Speaker 6: grateful for all the mercy you've extended me. That's something good.
- 12:21Speaker 6: Thank you for the power of forgiveness. That's another one
- 12:25Speaker 6: that's a common thread. I thank you for this life
- 12:28Speaker 6: that I have, the every breath I take. I thank
- 12:31Speaker 6: you for for riding me with a new morning, another
- 12:34Speaker 6: chance to get it right and get started. That should
- 12:36Speaker 6: be on everybody's list. After that, Junior is up to you.
- 12:39Speaker 7: You know.
- 12:41Speaker 10: But this, this, this, this, this, and you know, but
- 12:46Speaker 10: that's something you have to practice, right because you say,
- 12:48Speaker 10: like I said, I mind haven't expanded that far yet.
- 12:50Speaker 6: Okay, you have to get you confused in the two
- 12:53Speaker 6: Your mind hasn't expanded into your dream vision board list.
- 12:57Speaker 6: You haven't expanded your mind to open it up talk
- 13:00Speaker 6: all the possibilities. What you should be grateful for. You
- 13:03Speaker 6: should know this, okay, because only you know what God's
- 13:09Speaker 6: truly done for you.
- 13:11Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, you're right, I got you because I'm greatful
- 13:14Speaker 10: coming out that hospital every single time.
- 13:16Speaker 9: Yeah, that's that's me.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Oh hello, see you.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Now, everybody else that might not be on their list
- 13:20Speaker 6: because they ain't got to go down there once some more.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a whole nother. Yeah, I got it.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I got you say once a month week.
- 13:29Speaker 9: Yeah, I heard them. See everybody got to go down
- 13:31Speaker 9: there once a month.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Well I would have seen.
- 13:35Speaker 1: All Right, we're wrapping this up.
- 13:38Speaker 7: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:40Speaker 7: hear from the nephew as he runs that bring back.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:53Speaker 7: Think about the people who mean the most to you.
- 13:56Speaker 7: Giving them valuable protection is a great gift you can offer.
- 14:00Speaker 7: Globe Life Insurance can make it easy with Globe Life coverage.
- 14:03Speaker 7: There's no medical exam, just a simple application. Take this step,
- 14:08Speaker 7: or the people you love called Globe Life at one
- 14:10Speaker 7: eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred, or visit
- 14:13Speaker 7: globelifradio dot com. That's one eight hundred two five one
- 14:17Speaker 7: fifty four hundred or Globelife.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Radio dot com. And it's time now for the nephew
- 14:22Speaker 1: to run that prank back what you got for us, nep.
- 14:26Speaker 11: You know, when you can't make it, you know, then
- 14:28Speaker 11: you just start looking around. When you start looking around,
- 14:30Speaker 11: you start looking for spots. Yeah, you just got you
- 14:33Speaker 11: gotta find a place, and you gotta find a dinner here. Yes,
- 14:37Speaker 11: you you will find a place a cup, a bottle
- 14:41Speaker 11: or something.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Yes, oh, my sharing.
- 14:44Speaker 11: I'm just telling you what what men go through. And
- 14:46Speaker 11: then sometimes I just might have to pee on your house.
- 14:50Speaker 2: It might happen.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Whoa, I wish you would be a pile.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Well, watch me do it right here, pee it on
- 14:58Speaker 2: the house. Let's go on. Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 15:02Speaker 2: a uh mister, I think that's the name.
- 15:06Speaker 8: Yeah, this is this is what's this in regard to.
- 15:09Speaker 11: Uh, just by the air conditioning unit. You did some
- 15:12Speaker 11: work off force over on my house over off street.
- 15:15Speaker 11: Do you remember coming out there last week?
- 15:17Speaker 8: Uh? Yeah, yeah, I remember, yeah, right my Uh.
- 15:21Speaker 11: It was a lady that my wife, she let you
- 15:23Speaker 11: in to come out right. No, no, no, no, it's
- 15:29Speaker 11: cooling everything. Matter of fact, I want to tell you,
- 15:31Speaker 11: uh that you did a you did a good job.
- 15:34Speaker 11: But uh, I got a question for you now. When
- 15:36Speaker 11: you was at the house and you was working on
- 15:38Speaker 11: the air condition out there in the backyard, did you
- 15:41Speaker 11: did you happen to go on the side of my
- 15:44Speaker 11: house and pull out and use the bathroom right there
- 15:48Speaker 11: on the side. Did you go there and you do
- 15:51Speaker 11: number one on the side of my house? Well, what
- 15:53Speaker 11: I'm saying is that my wife tells me that when
- 15:56Speaker 11: you were there, that you you went on the She
- 15:59Speaker 11: was looking at the winter. She said that when you
- 16:01Speaker 11: was dad, that you and went and used the bathroom
- 16:05Speaker 11: on the side.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Hold.
- 16:07Speaker 12: Hold, hold, wait a minute, I did what not.
- 16:09Speaker 2: To what right?
- 16:12Speaker 8: You? You? You?
- 16:13Speaker 2: You say you did number one over on the side
- 16:16Speaker 2: of the house. Now is that something that you did?
- 16:19Speaker 8: Said?
- 16:19Speaker 12: Man, Look, you got to understand something. Man, all right, now,
- 16:22Speaker 12: I apologize if that did happen, but you got to
- 16:25Speaker 12: understand something.
- 16:26Speaker 8: You know, we're downside, man, and you know we're.
- 16:29Speaker 12: Talking eighty five ninety ninety.
- 16:30Speaker 5: Five degree weather.
- 16:31Speaker 12: Man, I got to stay high trated. I got to
- 16:33Speaker 12: drink a lot of fluid. So you know, with me
- 16:36Speaker 12: being the age that I am, I have to drink
- 16:38Speaker 12: a lot of fluids and in tend to pass through.
- 16:40Speaker 12: Look once and once again, I said, I apologize.
- 16:43Speaker 11: I understand all that, but you know what, I can't
- 16:45Speaker 11: accept no apology like that. When I got a man
- 16:47Speaker 11: this foot got.
- 16:48Speaker 5: On the side of my house, and then man, I'm
- 16:51Speaker 5: apologizing you and you coming off on me like that, you.
- 16:56Speaker 2: On the side of my house in front of my wife.
- 16:58Speaker 5: I not look at man now if your wa ain't
- 17:01Speaker 5: shown me it was she needed to see some type
- 17:05Speaker 5: of because you ever really ain't doing something?
- 17:07Speaker 2: You know that who you think you talking job?
- 17:10Speaker 5: You ain't watching me anyway? Do my work? Why is
- 17:14Speaker 5: she hold up that she got to look at a home?
- 17:16Speaker 8: Man?
- 17:17Speaker 3: Look? Look? Look.
- 17:18Speaker 11: All I know is I don't want no man at
- 17:20Speaker 11: my house in the house, side of the house, backyard.
- 17:24Speaker 5: Nothing, well, you said a man.
- 17:27Speaker 11: Look man, Let me tell you something though, Let me
- 17:29Speaker 11: tell you something. I'm the only person at my house.
- 17:32Speaker 8: You understand me, but you ain't. Why is she out
- 17:35Speaker 8: there looking at me?
- 17:36Speaker 5: Look at your son. I'm a profession okay. I do
- 17:39Speaker 5: my job, and I take my job with pride. Okay,
- 17:42Speaker 5: it's not being professional if there's something that I did
- 17:45Speaker 5: that take water.
- 17:45Speaker 8: Running through me?
- 17:46Speaker 5: All right?
- 17:47Speaker 2: Okay, but you don't.
- 17:48Speaker 11: You don't at no other man's house, and you at
- 17:51Speaker 11: my house and my wife's sitting there looking at you
- 17:53Speaker 11: out to what now I got a.
- 17:55Speaker 8: Problem with that or what you need to have.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Come with your wife looking at me? That's what I
- 18:00Speaker 5: did you know what you need to be at home
- 18:03Speaker 5: and give with something to look at other than looking
- 18:05Speaker 5: at me.
- 18:06Speaker 2: You don't tell me what I need to do about
- 18:08Speaker 2: my wife. You don't talk to another man.
- 18:10Speaker 5: I show man, you know what.
- 18:12Speaker 12: I'm about to lose it all right now you go.
- 18:15Speaker 2: You're gonna make You're gonna make.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Me lose because that's let me. Let me get my depth, doune,
- 18:19Speaker 5: let me get my book. That's all. Yeah, I just
- 18:23Speaker 5: do right here, I.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Just right and I'm gonna.
- 18:28Speaker 5: Yeah, that's I'm gonna that's what I'm gonna show you.
- 18:29Speaker 11: What is You don't say at another man's house. You
- 18:33Speaker 11: don't do that and people my wife looking out the window,
- 18:36Speaker 11: and I bet you knew that them blinds was open.
- 18:39Speaker 8: Young man.
- 18:40Speaker 5: Nah, you hit me real upset with these accusations right now. Look,
- 18:47Speaker 5: you you had with it the street.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Not your you know what I'm at.

- 56:47Speaker 2: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry.
- 56:50Speaker 7: Let us all right, nephew, thank you. The subject is
- 56:53Speaker 7: he goes there to unwind. Dear Stephen Shirley, my husband
- 56:58Speaker 7: and I have been together for ten years and married
- 57:00Speaker 7: for seven years. We met after college. I already had
- 57:04Speaker 7: a good job in my field, but he wasn't as lucky.
- 57:07Speaker 7: We started out as friends, and he stayed on my
- 57:10Speaker 7: sofa for two months after he and his roommate could
- 57:13Speaker 7: no longer afford their apartment. He was very helpful when
- 57:17Speaker 7: he stayed with me because he was trying to make
- 57:19Speaker 7: sure I didn't put him out. I fed him and
- 57:23Speaker 7: I gave him gas money so he could go to
- 57:25Speaker 7: job interviews. There's a reason that I'm telling you this.
- 57:29Speaker 7: I took care of this man for the first five
- 57:32Speaker 7: years that.
- 57:32Speaker 1: I knew him.
- 57:33Speaker 7: I never asked him for anything in return except loyalty.
- 57:38Speaker 7: I told him it was time to get married, so
- 57:40Speaker 7: he proposed in front of my family with a fake
- 57:43Speaker 7: diamond ring that I picked out. My mom had started
- 57:47Speaker 7: saying that he was using me for a place to live,
- 57:50Speaker 7: so he agreed that it was best to get married
- 57:52Speaker 7: to silence my mom. After our wedding, I found out
- 57:55Speaker 7: that he had a close female friend that he spent
- 57:58Speaker 7: time with after work working as a substitute teacher, and
- 58:02Speaker 7: so was she. He said she was just a friend.
- 58:05Speaker 7: But when I met her, I could tell by how
- 58:07Speaker 7: she looked at me that she didn't know he was married.
- 58:11Speaker 7: I told him that if he was too close to
- 58:13Speaker 7: the woman, and I asked him how he'd feel if
- 58:15Speaker 7: the station, if the situation were reversed. He said they
- 58:20Speaker 7: were only friends. Now fast forward to last week, and
- 58:22Speaker 7: the woman called me and said that she is tired
- 58:25Speaker 7: of my husband coming to her house to wind down
- 58:28Speaker 7: before he comes home. I asked her to explain how
- 58:31Speaker 7: he winds down, and she said, you know how. I
- 58:36Speaker 7: was speechless after that. All I've done, after all I've done,
- 58:41Speaker 7: after all I've done to lift up his sorry excuse
- 58:44Speaker 7: for a man.
- 58:45Speaker 1: He goes and does this to me.
- 58:47Speaker 7: Do I put him out or let him stay so
- 58:49Speaker 7: I can make him suffer? Please help? Well, it sounds
- 58:53Speaker 7: like there's a lot of suffering going on on both
- 58:56Speaker 7: your part and his part. I mean, you guys have
- 58:59Speaker 7: been married for ten years and this is where we
- 59:01Speaker 7: end up. And I've got to ask you, if he's
- 59:03Speaker 7: your husband, now, what do you want? I mean, do
- 59:06Speaker 7: you want the man you're married to to continue to
- 59:09Speaker 7: go to his female friend's house after work to unwind.
- 59:12Speaker 7: What because that is what's happening here, and I know
- 59:16Speaker 7: you don't want that. He knows you are aware of
- 59:19Speaker 7: what's going on, and he's still over there. That's the
- 59:22Speaker 7: ultimate in disrespect. It is he used you for a
- 59:26Speaker 7: place to stay back in the day when he was down.
- 59:28Speaker 7: Now he's up and in some other woman's face and
- 59:31Speaker 7: her bed. He's only proposing to you.
- 59:35Speaker 1: He only did that.
- 59:36Speaker 7: He only proposed to you to shut your mom up.
- 59:39Speaker 7: You said that in your letter to silence your mom.
- 59:41Speaker 7: There was no mention of love, no mention of commitment
- 59:44Speaker 7: till death do his part.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 59:46Speaker 7: Has he ever even said thank you for taking care
- 59:48Speaker 7: of him for five years? I mean, rent free in
- 59:51Speaker 7: your house for five years, and this is what you
- 59:54Speaker 7: get in return? I say, yeah, pack his close up
- 59:57Speaker 7: and put him out today, Steve, this is a letter.
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: Where I do not understand what you're staying for. I mean,
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: if you follow this letter now, I know it's more
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: to it than this, but this is the part she
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: gave us from the time.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: She started typing. I saw no value here.
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: I just didn't see you know, and you know, people
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: get mad at women when they want to make sure
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: you know her know what a man does for a living.
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: Get mad at women for asking course where you work
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: and stuff like that. This is why you need to
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: continue to ask questions so you know.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: But you you didn't. You have nothing.
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: You've been with this man ten years, you've been married
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: for seven. I met after college. You had a good job,
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: he didn't.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: Things sell on hard times with him and his roommate,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: so they couldn't split the rent. No more. Now there's
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: two men that can't come up with one rent, okay,
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: so they.
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: Had to split up, and you felt sorry for him,
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: so you let him stay on your sofa for two
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: months because of the situation with him and his roommates.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: Then you say he was very helpful when he stayed
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: with me because he was trying to make sure that
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: you didn't put him out. So that's why he was
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: doing these things so he didn't get put out. Do
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: you hear anything in there for you? Because cleaning up
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: behind you and helping you you got a small apartment.
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: He was really doing nothing because you know what you did.
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: You fed him and you gave him gas money so
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: he could go to job interviews.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: You took care of this man for five years. Five years,
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: you took care of this man. So are you saying
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: for five years.
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: He wasn't working, because you say you helped him out
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: for five years, So I'm assuming that's five years of
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: gas money, years of free rent all this hit. I
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: never asked him for anything in return except loyalty. I
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: told him it was time to get married.
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: For what.
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: Married?
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: You thought it was time to get married to who?
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: You can't be talking You cannot be talking about this
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: man that's in here on his sofa. You cannot be
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: talking about with this man who can't afford an apartment
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: with another man.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: You cannot be talking about the same guy, but you are.
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: So.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: He proposed in front.
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: Of my family with a fake diamond ring that I
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: picked out. You don't see you don't see this going
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: bad from the get gold. He don't even have enough
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: money for the fake ring. I bet you gave him
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: the money for that too, because you said you picked
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: it out and it's fake.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: You done married the wrong person.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, that's for show.
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: We will have part two of your response coming up
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: at twenty three minutes to after the hour Today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Subject he goes there to unwind.
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening

- 1:04:12Speaker 7: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: The subject is he goes there to unwind.
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: You've been knowing this man for ten years, you been
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: married for seven of the seven years. You have taken
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: care of him for five years. This is all in
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: the letter, you've been taking cares of my gas money
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: to go to interviews.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: You fed him, and you gave him a place to stay.
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: And the reason he needed the place to stay because
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: him and his roommate another man, two men that couldn't
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: come up with one rent.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: So now you decide we should get married. My question
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: is for what?
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: So you're volunteering to continue to take care of this man.
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: What redeeming quality that he had? Oh yeah, he helped
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: around the apartment, so he didn't want you to put
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: him out. That's what you said in the letter also,
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: but that's the reason he was over there and nice
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: to you, so he didn't get put out. I ain't
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: heard nothing about how well he is for you, emostly
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: how he loves you and you all talk and have
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: wonderful conversation.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: I know y'all ain't going nowhere because he ain't got
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: no money for that.
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: Car. So now you told him because you're getting a
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: little flat from your parents, because your mama said, he
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: just over there to use you for a place to live.
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: Because everybody can see that, so you decide, well, I'll
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: show them is more than that.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Let's get married.
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: He agreed, what a he gonna say, no. You the
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: only the only life rap he got you the life preserver.
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: You the only rope he got. So he proposes to
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: you in front of the family. Then he gives you
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: a ring of fake diamond that you picked out. The
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: ring ain't real, the proposal ain't really real, and you
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: married this guy to silence your mom. Then after work,
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: after the wedding, you found out he had a close
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: female friend that he spent time with after work.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: He was working as a substitute teacher, and.
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: So was she.
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: He said she was just a friend. But then when
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: you met her, you got to You got them woman eyes.
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: When you met her, you looked over there and you knew,
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: and you could tell by the way she looked at
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: you that she didn't know he was married.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Well, I kind of think she knew he was married.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Now I'll tell you why.
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: In a second, I told him that he was too
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: close to the woman, and I asked him how he
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: feel if the situation was reversed. He said, well, we
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: only friends. Fast forward to last week. The woman called
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: me and said she is tired of my hood h
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: coming to her house to wind down before he comes home.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: Now, this is the part where I want you to know.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: She know he married, he done, went over her house
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: and told her that man, this marriage ain't working, is
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: stressing me out. I just need some space. I need
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: some relief, and you provided the substitute teacher provided.
- 1:07:21Speaker 6: Now she calling you to tell it to you, and
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: now you sitting her, she said, and she's tired of
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: your husband coming to your husband coming to her house
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: to wind down before he come home. So I asked
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: her to explain what she means when he wind down.
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: She said, you know, you know, and you do know
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: how he been in that getting unwound, unwrapped, unstressed and undressed.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: He's getting all that over there, that's how unwound he is.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: I was speechless.
- 1:07:55Speaker 6: After all I've done to lift up this sorry excuse
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: for a man, he goes and does this to me,
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: then here's your question. Do I put him out or
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: let him stay so I can make him suffer. Let
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: me ask you a question. If you let him stay,
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: how he gonna suffer. He got a job as a
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: substitute teacher. He could tell you working every day well,
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: or you're gonna bring it up. You're gonna make him suffer.
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: Lady to make a person suffer, you have to create
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: the things to produce the suffering. And that's taking up
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: too much time of your day to find a way
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: to make him suffer, because you're only gonna suffer yourselfing.
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: You know, the best way to do it is to
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: put him out. That's how you make him suffer. Because
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: he got to go and run this story by the
- 1:08:51Speaker 6: substitute teaching. I just decided I was thinking because this
- 1:08:55Speaker 6: way he's gonna tell the other lady, Hey, I've been
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: thinking about this.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: I'm just gonna move home. You don't have feelings for you, right, Yeah,
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: we're going through it.
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: So if you would allow me to come over here
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: and spend more time with you till I get back
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: on my feet, and then you and I can put
- 1:09:17Speaker 6: that money together and say and get a big, big

- 1:13:01Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:13:02Speaker 9: Yeah, that pretty much gets our attention.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:13:05Speaker 6: How come you ain't on the camera right now? You
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: don't want you don't want to see you stacking them

- 1:13:22Speaker 9: this game tonight. The one out of game five usually
- 1:13:25Speaker 9: wins by eighty.
- 1:13:26Speaker 10: Four percent of the time. So that's good for y'all too.
- 1:13:29Speaker 10: So we got to steal this, yere, I.
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: Don't know statistics, Junior, being from Cleveland, why is that?

- 1:13:42Speaker 2: What's that one?
- 1:13:43Speaker 8: See?
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: Okay, what did you say?
- 1:13:44Speaker 9: The chances of if you win eighty four percent of
- 1:13:47Speaker 9: the time?
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Yeah, eighty four percent of the time. That's usually us.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: We we we the sixteen percent.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:13:56Speaker 7: Coming up at the top of the hour, a dad
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: that is raised his son does not want to help
- 1:14:01Speaker 7: raise his nephew.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: He needs advice. We'll try to help him. Right after this.
- 1:14:06Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:14:13Speaker 7: This is from Angelo and Ladera. Angelo says, my wife
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: and I are empty nesters, and I was hoping it
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: would stay that way, but she has other planned. My
- 1:14:23Speaker 7: younger sister has a sixteen year old son that is
- 1:14:27Speaker 7: hanging with the wrong crowd on his block. My wife
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: suggested that my nephew spend the summer with us and
- 1:14:33Speaker 7: go to work with me every day. I do flooring
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: and my nephew is a knucklehead, so I can't have
- 1:14:39Speaker 7: him messing up my business. He has a father, so
- 1:14:42Speaker 7: that man should take more interest in his son. I've
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: raised my children. Is it selfish to not want to
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: get involved with my own nephew?
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: Well, not that I'm here in all of it. It
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: isn't selfish. It's not selfish. Okay, But where is he
- 1:15:00Speaker 6: has a father?
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: A father? Yeah, he said he has one.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: That's really his dad's job.
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: And maybe somebody needs to you, just you need you
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: and your wife need to perform an intervention with the
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: boy sixteen year old father, Say hey, could you come over,
- 1:15:15Speaker 6: we'd like to talk with you, and then get on
- 1:15:17Speaker 6: there and say, hey, man, we really.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: We really want to save uh uh.
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: You know, little man's life, man, because he going down
- 1:15:24Speaker 6: the wrong path and you can help with that, uh huh.
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: And just please be more of a presence in his life.
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: I would do that. I do understand you being a
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: little hesitant. But she's talking about him staying that just
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: for the summer. But you know that ain't true. So
- 1:15:40Speaker 6: once you let somebody in the house just for the summer,
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: it's gonna leak into the fall. You're gonna be buying.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Christmas gipseys pretty much.
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: So I think this man is justified in what he
- 1:15:52Speaker 6: was saying because you taking him to work. Angelo works
- 1:15:57Speaker 6: as a flooring guy.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Yeah he Lauren, the wife wants him to take the
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: nephew to work with him.
- 1:16:05Speaker 6: Because he's the boys saving business. You can't throw these
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: young people away. Somebody's got to step up and be
- 1:16:13Speaker 6: the big person and say, hey, let me do what
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: I can do to help save this young man.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: We need more of that, so I would encourage you
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: to consider.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: It, all right. The mentor Steve Harvey is speaking, Yeah.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: Recheck that flow when y'all get through. He ain't gonna
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: have it right.
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: He's just gonna be like, go out to your truck,
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: bring this, give me that.
- 1:16:35Speaker 7: Okay, Yeah, all right, we have time for another one.
- 1:16:37Speaker 7: This is from Monique in Seattle. Well, Nick says, my
- 1:16:40Speaker 7: husband and I almost got put out of an upscale
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: hotel over the weekend because he's so loud. He is
- 1:16:46Speaker 7: a heavy voice naturally, so when we're being intimate, it's
- 1:16:49Speaker 7: hard to get him to keep quiet.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: It gets worse since he gets more and more excited.
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: The problem is I won this trip for being a
- 1:16:57Speaker 7: top performer at my job, and this hotel is one
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: of our clients.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: What do I say if my boss founds out find out?
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta talk to your husband. Listen to me.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: You can't be in here sounding like I'm beating you
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: all right up, Oh you're hearing that, clown.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: But this is for her job.
- 1:17:25Speaker 7: They need to be quiet. She doesn't want to get
- 1:17:27Speaker 7: put up and her boss finds out.
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: You shouldn't have took your husband down there to your
- 1:17:33Speaker 6: little prize that you won. Does she wear a hotel
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: night or something?
- 1:17:39Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean she got this trip. Yes she did,
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: because she's a top performer at her job.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: Well no, well, now we'd have found out you ain't
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: the only one that's the top of form.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: That's what you got out of this. Yeah, daddy performing,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: letting them have it?
- 1:17:56Speaker 11: Mm hmm.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Can you put me up?
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: I'm just a wall.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: There you go, she said.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: He has a heavy voice naturally, So.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: God, dog, just hold a tie right down.
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: We didn't heal.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: They almost got put out, Steve. They almost got put
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: out to Drake because he's so loud in the window.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: People are complaining.
- 1:18:26Speaker 9: He so.
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: So she just doesn't want her boss to find out,
- 1:18:36Speaker 7: so he can't just keep it quiet a little bit.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Good about to rip this TV. Also, no, all right.
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: Never mind coming up in twenty minutes after, we'll have
- 1:18:48Speaker 7: more of this old show.

- 1:26:19Speaker 6: And when you try to remind people, because I mean,
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: these are closing remarks, right this is where we're at
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: right now, yes, sir, so okay, so let me say this.
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: It is difficult when you approach young people and you go, hey, listen,
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: there are people for who died for our right to vote.
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: The average young person don't.
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: They don't.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: They don't comprehend that. I talk to them all the time.
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: They don't have a real.
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: Sense of history. And if you bring up history, it's
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: this old calamity that happened some years ago. But see,
- 1:26:59Speaker 6: if you do, I don't know your history. Ask what's
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: happening right now? History can repeat itself and they're doing
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: exactly that. We didn't get the right to vote without interference,
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: without threats until nineteen sixty four.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: I was seven. Sixty four, I was seven. We didn't
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: get that and the way we got it.
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: We didn't burn and loot, We had city ins what
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: we were beaten by policemen. We had marches where we
- 1:27:35Speaker 6: were fire holes and a sick dog was on us.
- 1:27:38Speaker 6: Just amazing the limit that they have gone to to
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: prevent us from voting, because and now what they're doing
- 1:27:48Speaker 6: again is they're rescinding all of that that was provided
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: for us in nineteen sixty four, which why was it
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: even half necessary to provide it for us? We should
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: according to the constitution that your forefathers wrote, we should
- 1:28:03Speaker 6: have the right to vote, we should have the right
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: to be counted. But we're in a new administration. Now, Oh,
- 1:28:11Speaker 6: these are the creators and makers and architect of projects
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: twenty twenty five. And if you read this thing, it's
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: fulfilled with so much hatred and bigotry and taking it
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: back and going back, and so.
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: Now look at this. We got ice, we got abortion.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: Laws have been switched.
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: They want everybody to bow down to the white conservative
- 1:28:36Speaker 6: Republican movement. And not all whites belong there or fit there,
- 1:28:42Speaker 6: and they know it, but the ones in power, that's
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: what they want, the power brokers, And so they don't
- 1:28:51Speaker 6: want you to vote if your vote didn't matter, y'all,
- 1:28:54Speaker 6: why do they keep doing stuff to make sure you
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: don't vote. Because your vote matters, and they know.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: They know it.
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: If we could come together, we could change anything, if
- 1:29:07Speaker 6: we came together. It's thirty five thirty six million African
- 1:29:11Speaker 6: Americans in the United States, and all those are our
- 1:29:14Speaker 6: votes because some of them kids and stuff like that.
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: So you got to take a lot of that thirty
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: five thirty seven million away off the table because they
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: can't vote. They're just young, too young. But though those
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: of us who can vote, I can't even tell you
- 1:29:28Speaker 6: how important it is. And you have to pay attention
- 1:29:31Speaker 6: to history. Do you know they just did this in
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: Alabama yesterday They redistrict at Alabama and took away the
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: black representation that his job just gone and it went
- 1:29:45Speaker 6: to the white person who was next door of that district.
- 1:29:49Speaker 6: They just made that whole black district one and they
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: put the one with the most votes in it in power,
- 1:29:54Speaker 6: who was a white guy. They doing it everywhere, y'allly
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: doing it in Louisiana, they running rapid with this. They
- 1:30:00Speaker 6: gonna try it in Georgia. They did it in Texas.
- 1:30:03Speaker 6: They just keep on keeping on. It's kind of crazy, man.
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: My father, Now, my father was born in the early
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: nineteen hundreds, do you hear me? My daddy was born
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: in nineteen fourteen. That's crazy, man. Do you know that
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: we've already passed twenty fourteen? My daddy would have been
- 1:30:28Speaker 6: one hundred in twenty fourteen. Now you add what's that
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: eleven more years and we in twenty twenty six, twenty twelve,
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: twelve years ago, my dad would be one hundred and
- 1:30:41Speaker 6: twelve today. He done saw everything. And my daddy was
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: born in Alabama, in the Deep South, and we came
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: as far north as West Virginia. I grew up looking
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: at colored only water fountains, colored only restrooms.
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: I saw it.
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: I saw this with my own eyes. But if you
- 1:30:59Speaker 6: bring it up to young people, man, they have a tendency. God, oh,
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: they don't do that no more. Yeah they do, and
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: they finna do it again if we don't pay attention,
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: if we don't get registered to vote, because your vote
- 1:31:09Speaker 6: is powerful. And once again I'll say this to you.
- 1:31:11Speaker 6: If it wasn't powerful, why did they keep doing everything
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: and they power to make sure we can't vote as
- 1:31:19Speaker 6: long as they can affect us. And get us to
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: sit on the sidelines they win. Do not sit on
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: the sidelines. When you sit on the sidelines something, I
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: ain't going down there because it don't matter. It matters
- 1:31:29Speaker 6: exactly because when you don't vote for one of us,
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: it's a vote for one of them.
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: And let's not be stupid young people.
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:31:38Speaker 6: I ain't mad at you, and I ain't dogging you,
- 1:31:39Speaker 6: but I'm saying we got to be a little bit
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: smarter than this right here. If your vote didn't count,
- 1:31:43Speaker 6: why they keep trying to take it from you. Think
- 1:31:46Speaker 6: about that. Let's get registered, Let's get to the post.
- 1:31:48Speaker 6: Those are my closes from Marks today. Hope you have
