- 2:08Speaker 8: is Steve Harvey Man got a radio show? How good
- 2:11Speaker 8: is God?
- 2:12Speaker 2: Huh? Think about it?
- 2:13Speaker 8: Just take a slight inventory of your own life and
- 2:16Speaker 8: say it to yourself when you get through, how good
- 2:18Speaker 8: is God? Think of all the small things, because that's him.
- 2:23Speaker 8: You breathing, that's him. You still here, that's him. You
- 2:27Speaker 8: got another chance? That's him. You ain't out of here.
- 2:31Speaker 8: That's him. Got any measure of health?
- 2:34Speaker 2: That's him.
- 2:35Speaker 8: You think it's more to it than it really is
- 2:37Speaker 8: than it already showed up to be. That's him.
- 2:40Speaker 2: All of that.
- 2:41Speaker 8: You got, any dreams or aspirations you dream of other things,
- 2:45Speaker 8: that's him.
- 2:46Speaker 2: All that, that's him. That's him.
- 2:48Speaker 8: Him, clothes you got, that's him. Every time you eat
- 2:52Speaker 8: that's why they had this thing called you say you're Grace.
- 2:54Speaker 8: That's him. See that's him, Man, that's him. It's amazing
- 2:58Speaker 8: when you take a small inventory how you find out
- 3:00Speaker 8: how big God really is in your life. Now, the
- 3:03Speaker 8: more you turn yourself over to him, the bigger he
- 3:05Speaker 8: can be for you. See, he'll only be as big
- 3:08Speaker 8: as you let him. It's one thing about God. Now,
- 3:11Speaker 8: he's a gentleman. He can make you do anything. You know,
- 3:16Speaker 8: you get too big for him, You know you you
- 3:19Speaker 8: lose your humbleness. He can humble you.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Now.
- 3:23Speaker 8: God created man with the power of choice. We're the
- 3:29Speaker 8: only creature he created that. He gave us the total
- 3:32Speaker 8: power of choice when we mate, who we mate with.
- 3:35Speaker 8: You know everything, all of it. Man, it's a choice
- 3:40Speaker 8: what we want to be, how much we want to make,
- 3:42Speaker 8: where we want to live, with climate we want to
- 3:44Speaker 8: live in. We can live in cold climates, hot climates.
- 3:47Speaker 8: You know, we speak different languages. You can go learn
- 3:49Speaker 8: another language. A bear can't do nothing but be a
- 3:54Speaker 8: bear is he can't go learn how to be a fox,
- 4:00Speaker 8: can't go learn how to be an otter.
- 4:02Speaker 2: He just can't.
- 4:03Speaker 8: An ostrich is an ostrich man. He can't come out
- 4:06Speaker 8: here and fight like a lion. A lion is a lion.
- 4:09Speaker 8: A lion eat meat. He can't eat vegetables. I don't
- 4:12Speaker 8: care how much meat ain't around. He'll lay down and
- 4:15Speaker 8: pull up out of here and die because he can't
- 4:17Speaker 8: eat grass.
- 4:19Speaker 2: He just a lion. Man. You understand this that God
- 4:23Speaker 2: gave us.
- 4:24Speaker 8: We are the one creature he created that has total
- 4:27Speaker 8: power of choice. You can make every decision in your life.
- 4:30Speaker 8: What kind of watch you like, that's the one you
- 4:33Speaker 8: can buy. You want to live in Switzerland, go ahead.
- 4:38Speaker 8: You don't like Switzerland, you can move to Miami. You
- 4:42Speaker 8: want to live your life for crime, go ahead, that's you.
- 4:46Speaker 8: He gave you the power choice you want to do right?
- 4:48Speaker 8: Come on, So now look at this thing.
- 4:53Speaker 2: We are all.
- 4:55Speaker 8: The results of a series of decisions that we have made.
- 5:02Speaker 8: If we could just identify that the problem is us,
- 5:07Speaker 8: we could began the solution.
- 5:10Speaker 2: See that's the problem, y'all, it's us. It's what we do.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I threw my life down the hill.
- 5:17Speaker 8: I can't tell you how many years based on some
- 5:21Speaker 8: decisions that I was making. Now I can justify my
- 5:23Speaker 8: decision where I wasn't happy and I was doing this,
- 5:26Speaker 8: and I was in miserying y'all on that aint.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Yes to you when you get through.
- 5:30Speaker 8: You made the decisions though, and you can look at
- 5:33Speaker 8: this anyway you want to, y'all. But at the end
- 5:35Speaker 8: of the day, I'm just talking to people that's really
- 5:37Speaker 8: really wanting to improve their position in life. And how
- 5:41Speaker 8: do you do that? You got to have a solution.
- 5:45Speaker 8: How do you come up with a solution? You got
- 5:47Speaker 8: to identify the problem to even began to solve it.
- 5:54Speaker 8: But if the problem ain't ever you, how you gonna
- 5:58Speaker 8: solve something that ain't you?
- 6:01Speaker 2: See?
- 6:03Speaker 8: Okay, let me look at this one. If somebody say, like,
- 6:08Speaker 8: I got a child of mine, man, I just do
- 6:10Speaker 8: right here. Man, I don't even wanna get into it
- 6:12Speaker 8: this morning, bore. I'm struggling with this this boy. But man,
- 6:17Speaker 8: you go to people, you ask them why they do
- 6:19Speaker 8: sothing I just did. I just wasn't taking care of business?
- 6:23Speaker 8: Why I just didn't take care of business? Boy, do
- 6:28Speaker 8: you understand that your life is gonna be filled with
- 6:30Speaker 8: you got to take care of business? So when you're
- 6:32Speaker 8: gonna start, you know what I mean?
- 6:35Speaker 2: You can't. You can't. You can't go through life blaming everybody.
- 6:39Speaker 2: It's got to be you. See, you can fix you.
- 6:42Speaker 8: You can't fix nobody else if you keep getting married
- 6:45Speaker 8: and the marriages don't work.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Hello, Hello, Hello, could it be you? South Found? I
- 6:53Speaker 2: had to sit down and just make that decision.
- 6:54Speaker 8: Ain' don't need to be coming on the radio talking
- 6:56Speaker 8: about nobody else and what they did to me, and
- 6:59Speaker 8: y'all just don't know. No, no, no, man, what about
- 7:02Speaker 8: the part you played in it? Cause see, if you
- 7:04Speaker 8: got a good marriage, you got a part to play
- 7:06Speaker 8: in that. If you got a bad one, you got
- 7:08Speaker 8: a part to play in that.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Even if it just get.
- 7:12Speaker 8: Down to you the one picked them, how about that, mister, mister?
- 7:16Speaker 8: I made a decision. The problem is usually within yourself.
- 7:21Speaker 8: Do you know that's the quickest and easy way to
- 7:23Speaker 8: fix your life. That way, you ain't got to check
- 7:26Speaker 8: with nobody. Here's the beauty of going on and admitting
- 7:29Speaker 8: that it's you. You don't have to check or clear
- 7:33Speaker 8: it with nobody to start the repair process. You don't
- 7:37Speaker 8: need anybody's permission. You ain't got to put it before
- 7:39Speaker 8: the review board to see if it will pass. It
- 7:42Speaker 8: ain't got to go through Congress. You ain't got to
- 7:44Speaker 8: hope that your local politician get their hands on it
- 7:47Speaker 8: and make a phone.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Call for you.
- 7:49Speaker 8: You ain't got to ask any counselors to come in
- 7:51Speaker 8: and sit with you. You don't have to check into rehair.
- 7:54Speaker 8: All you got to do is decide the problem is me.
- 7:58Speaker 8: I'm gonna start changing me. Identify the problem and start
- 8:05Speaker 8: with the part that you can own up to. Once
- 8:12Speaker 8: you identify the problem, you can start planning on how
- 8:15Speaker 8: to fix this or how to get to accomplishing something.
- 8:18Speaker 8: But remember this planning is important. If you fail to plan,
- 8:24Speaker 8: then please plan to fail. If you don't know how
- 8:28Speaker 8: to make a plan, let's just start with the basics.
- 8:32Speaker 8: Just make a list of what you want. Make this
- 8:36Speaker 8: list and then go to God in prayer with an
- 8:40Speaker 8: open mind and open your mind up to all the
- 8:45Speaker 8: clean opportunities that are available. Hear why a lot of
- 8:49Speaker 8: people won't succeed because certain opportunities come along you.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Don't want to do them. That kills me. Man, when
- 8:55Speaker 2: I hear here, I ain't doing that.
- 8:58Speaker 8: I know young comedians that come to me all the
- 9:00Speaker 8: time talking about man with you, and I say, man,
- 9:02Speaker 8: just take every gig you can, no matter what it pays.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Well listen to me.
- 9:07Speaker 8: Son, you can go make that money that it pay,
- 9:11Speaker 8: or you can make the decision to sit at home
- 9:13Speaker 8: and make no money. It's a comedy, hard business. They
- 9:18Speaker 8: ain't paying but one hundred dollars. You gotta drive fifty miles.
- 9:22Speaker 8: But if you drive fifty miles and you make the
- 9:24Speaker 8: hundred and you stand on that stage for thirty minutes,
- 9:27Speaker 8: you are now thirty minutes better than you was the
- 9:29Speaker 8: last time you went on stage. Oh man, they ain't man,
- 9:34Speaker 8: they don't pay me. I ain't coming. You ain't finna
- 9:36Speaker 8: be a comedian, man, not not like this here. A
- 9:40Speaker 8: lot of people just don't want to do what's necessary
- 9:43Speaker 8: to do. So when the opportunity presents itself and you
- 9:46Speaker 8: open up your mind to it, man.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Then get ready to go on and do it.
- 9:49Speaker 8: Man, identify your problem today. Start with the part dash.
- 9:56Speaker 4: You you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen, another one another one? God did it?
- 10:11Speaker 8: Another one another day? Man? Who else does this on
- 10:17Speaker 8: a daily without miss I mean, and has done it
- 10:23Speaker 8: this exact same way since the beginning of time, never missed.
- 10:28Speaker 2: That's crazy, man.
- 10:30Speaker 8: If you really give that any kind of thought, that
- 10:33Speaker 8: is truly an amazing God and for you to be
- 10:38Speaker 8: a participant in the process.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Wow, I'm grateful for that. I really really am. Man.
- 10:45Speaker 2: That just makes a lot of sense to me.
- 10:48Speaker 8: You know, And the next time you're talking to a
- 10:50Speaker 8: person that's an atheist, just walk away, Just walk away,
- 10:55Speaker 8: just walk away.
- 10:56Speaker 2: You can't fix everybody.
- 11:00Speaker 8: I can't even the frustration level I have with trying
- 11:04Speaker 8: to explain God to somebody who telling me it ain't one.
- 11:07Speaker 2: It's at like ten. So let's stop, ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:11Speaker 8: This is this Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry, Colin Farrell,
- 11:15Speaker 8: Mississippi Moonica Junior, and the legend that is nephew Tommy
- 11:19Speaker 8: Junior's not here today. He's doing a very very important
- 11:22Speaker 8: meeting out in Texas. We wish him well. He's speaking
- 11:26Speaker 8: to the Senate, to the House here to Congress awesome
- 11:32Speaker 8: about sickle sell and trying to get them to pass
- 11:36Speaker 8: some legislature. He's a real spokesperson for that, so we
- 11:39Speaker 8: wish him well. He was a little nervous about it,
- 11:43Speaker 8: but I told him, Man, go out there and just
- 11:44Speaker 8: be you.
- 11:45Speaker 2: You the only one.
- 11:46Speaker 8: You're the one person in the room. That's an expert,
- 11:49Speaker 8: and so you know who know more about it than you.
- 11:55Speaker 8: So it's just going out there. Well, normally I'll say, Junior,
- 11:59Speaker 8: what's on your mind? But I'm gonna have to say Tommy, Tommy,
- 12:03Speaker 8: what's on your mind?
- 12:05Speaker 2: You know? All right?
- 12:06Speaker 9: I told me and my wife was in the kitchen

- 14:03Speaker 8: the United States over the next three years that will
- 14:05Speaker 8: expand manufacturing and create more jobs for Americas.

- 15:26Speaker 10: a little longer to try and conceive a child than
- 15:29Speaker 10: you know in your earlier years. So we we definitely

- 16:19Speaker 10: what what what what are you referring to as an alternative? Well,
- 16:22Speaker 10: I mean I think I have a good thing then
- 16:26Speaker 10: that that might be able to help this thing speed

- 17:28Speaker 10: the doctor and got myself checked out, man, good physical
- 17:30Speaker 10: and everything. I'm physically fitting everything. And you know, maybe
- 17:34Speaker 10: I guess the complications are coming from you as far
- 17:38Speaker 10: as the child not being you know, you're not being
- 17:39Speaker 10: able to conceive right now now now at ain't nothing
- 17:43Speaker 10: wrong with me, man, Okay, Now what you mean by

- 25:47Speaker 4: Vanessa writes, I'm dating a guy that's engaged, but he
- 25:52Speaker 4: said he's not going to get married. I feel bad
- 25:55Speaker 4: for say because she doesn't know. On face this book,
- 26:00Speaker 4: it's all she talks about. I told him he's being
- 26:03Speaker 4: cruel by waiting to break it off. What's taking him
- 26:06Speaker 4: so long?
- 26:08Speaker 3: Wow?
- 26:08Speaker 2: You the one you can? You know? Are you stupid?
- 26:15Speaker 8: Petn gave you the information to keep you playing along.
- 26:18Speaker 8: He gonna marry that girl tomorrow. Pe done told you
- 26:23Speaker 8: he ain't getting married. He just ain't getting married right
- 26:26Speaker 8: now while he giving it to you.
- 26:31Speaker 2: But he gonna marry that girl.
- 26:33Speaker 4: But she feels badly for the fiance.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Though you're stupid.
- 26:38Speaker 8: Oh wow, you're dating a man who's given you just
- 26:43Speaker 8: the information you need to keep giving him what he
- 26:45Speaker 8: needs and won't and now it's gonna be over for you.
- 26:49Speaker 2: They gonna get married.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Yeah, she's waiting for him to break it off with
- 26:53Speaker 4: the fiancee. That's what she's doing.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Little girl, Little girl, you would be the fiance if
- 26:59Speaker 2: this was going on.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Okay, all right, I like that. Say that again, say that.
- 27:11Speaker 8: Make sure I just forgot. If you was the one,
- 27:15Speaker 8: you would be the fiance. You're not the one. She's
- 27:18Speaker 8: the fiance. She's getting married. And I didn't know you
- 27:22Speaker 8: could keep telling people that.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Kind of stuff.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I think too.
- 27:27Speaker 1: With young girls, a young woman.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Sometimes they just don't know.
- 27:30Speaker 1: You don't know, may be awake up call you know.
- 27:34Speaker 8: This guy has given you the piece of information you
- 27:38Speaker 8: need that will keep you on the hook that he'd
- 27:41Speaker 8: have done everything. First of all, the man, so anyway,
- 27:46Speaker 8: has he broke up with the fiance? Is that on Facebook?
- 27:50Speaker 8: Because since she posted everything about the wedding when she pays,
- 27:53Speaker 8: he's getting hesitant? He cold feet or none of that.
- 27:56Speaker 2: You don't know, wan.
- 27:57Speaker 8: I'm thinking he got cold feet and he don't told you.
- 28:01Speaker 8: And you know why you don't have cold feet, because
- 28:04Speaker 8: you're keeping them warm to you, keeping them warming to
- 28:06Speaker 8: the wedding. Wedding, you're gonna get the cold shoulder, and
- 28:16Speaker 8: then he gonna say he had to because he felt pressured,
- 28:19Speaker 8: but he always wanted you, and he regrets the decision,
- 28:23Speaker 8: and then that may be enough to make you stay
- 28:25Speaker 8: on board.
- 28:25Speaker 2: As the mistress promote.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Oh wow, so even beyond the men.
- 28:31Speaker 8: Wow.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Okay, wow, that's a long time playing.
- 28:34Speaker 12: Huh.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yes, it's levels to this.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Yeah right here, all.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Right, last one, last one, felo. This is from Dewanda
- 28:44Speaker 4: and Charleston. Wanda writes, I got a text from an
- 28:46Speaker 4: old friend and she asked me to borrow some money.
- 28:49Speaker 4: She is having a financial crisis, but she didn't give
- 28:53Speaker 4: any details. She opened up to our other friend who
- 28:56Speaker 4: told me, should I tell her to go ask that
- 28:59Speaker 4: girl for the money?
- 29:01Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, you know, I don't know.
- 29:06Speaker 2: What does she do it make if she told you
- 29:08Speaker 2: what it was for. She just says she having a
- 29:11Speaker 2: financial crisis. She tells certain people certain things.
- 29:16Speaker 4: But when you're lending money, don't you want to know
- 29:18Speaker 4: or you don't have to know you're saying what it's for.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Look, if you don't want to help the lady, dan,
- 29:24Speaker 2: tell her you can't do it.
- 29:27Speaker 9: What are you?
- 29:28Speaker 2: You're looking for a reason not to give it to
- 29:29Speaker 2: her or reason to help her.
- 29:31Speaker 8: And if you look for a reason not to give
- 29:33Speaker 8: it to it, then your reason is she told your
- 29:34Speaker 8: other friend what it was about it.
- 29:36Speaker 2: She never told you. Okay, So now don't give it
- 29:39Speaker 2: to her. You really don't want to give her the money.
- 29:43Speaker 4: It doesn't sound like it.
- 29:46Speaker 2: So go ahead.
- 29:48Speaker 1: If we ask you for some money, do we have
- 29:51Speaker 1: to tell you what it's for?
- 29:53Speaker 2: No, we don't.
- 29:56Speaker 10: No.
- 29:59Speaker 4: Don't you see that he's just gonna say no.
- 30:02Speaker 2: He doesn't care. I'm in a hole. I need five
- 30:06Speaker 2: thousand dollars.
- 30:07Speaker 8: If you want a crisis situation and you asked me
- 30:10Speaker 8: for help, I would help anybody on this show.
- 30:15Speaker 10: You see it's so sweet.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Listen to that listener, dude, on the show, we'll have some.
- 30:25Speaker 4: Entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening Hardy
- 30:30Speaker 4: Morning Show. The NFL has fined the Atlanta Falcons and
- 30:37Speaker 4: its defensive coordinator, Jeff Ulbrick for Olbrick's twenty one year
- 30:41Speaker 4: old son making a prank call to George Sanders during
- 30:45Speaker 4: the NFL draft. Ulbrick up. Yeah, Olbrick owns one hundred
- 30:49Speaker 4: thousand dollars, and the team as a whole owns two
- 30:52Speaker 4: hundred and fifty thousand dollars for disclosing confidential information that
- 30:57Speaker 4: was distributed to the club, specifically for the draft. Ulbrick's
- 31:01Speaker 4: twenty one year old son, Jacks, was reportedly visiting his
- 31:05Speaker 4: parents home and saw an open epad with Schador's phone
- 31:08Speaker 4: number and used it to Frank Shador. Jax even made
- 31:11Speaker 4: a video of himself pretending to be the general manager
- 31:14Speaker 4: of the New Orleans Saints. In the poorly thought Frank
- 31:18Speaker 4: Jax told Shador that the Saints planned to draft him,
- 31:21Speaker 4: but he would have to wait a while. So, I mean,
- 31:26Speaker 4: there's so much there right.
- 31:29Speaker 9: Were I would come back and post me whooping my
- 31:33Speaker 9: son behind. Y'all will see this whooping on camera. I'm sorry,

- 31:38Speaker 1: If you were the coach.
- 31:41Speaker 4: Jack Oh yeah, yeah, Oh.
- 31:44Speaker 1: You know that's that privileged mindset that you know.
- 31:49Speaker 4: I'm no, it's not even though he apologized and all
- 31:57Speaker 4: of that.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Yeah, about but we've said this before this show. Everything.
- 32:02Speaker 4: We've said this before him from the Canadians.
- 32:06Speaker 2: You know. I mean, we have a prankster on our show,
- 32:09Speaker 2: and we've said to him.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Many times and many times, and we have one.
- 32:13Speaker 8: Time at that time he had that airport news that
- 32:16Speaker 8: time he had that airport noise in the background, and
- 32:19Speaker 8: call that man and told him him and his wife
- 32:22Speaker 8: was getting on a plane, just letting you know. I'm
- 32:24Speaker 8: just trying to be mad enough to let you know
- 32:26Speaker 8: it's over playoff. That was pretty good far though, pretty
- 32:31Speaker 8: good to far, so I would look for you after that.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Did you guys expect Elbrick and the Falcons to be
- 32:41Speaker 4: fined and all this stuff. You wanted something that should?
- 32:45Speaker 2: Yeah, they should. It's not high he he Hell that
- 32:47Speaker 2: ain't had his work. Now.
- 32:50Speaker 8: This is a protective system. They've had this system in
- 32:52Speaker 8: place for years. These guys get a phone, they get
- 32:56Speaker 8: a special number. The numbers distributed to all the That's
- 33:01Speaker 8: why you never know. We couldn't reach him. Your phone
- 33:04Speaker 8: was busy. No, mah uh, that's why Lamb was on
- 33:07Speaker 8: the phone talking to the people Dallas Cowboys when they
- 33:11Speaker 8: drafted him. When his girlfriend grabbed his phone, he reached
- 33:13Speaker 8: back over there said no, no, no, no, you don't
- 33:16Speaker 8: know who called me to congratulate me. Remember that, Remember
- 33:20Speaker 8: when Dallas Cowboys drafted the wide receiver C c Lamb.
- 33:24Speaker 8: He was taking the call from Jerry Jones and the Cowboys.
- 33:27Speaker 8: Then his phone rang, and his girlfriend sitting next to
- 33:29Speaker 8: her and picked it up. He reached over and snatched
- 33:31Speaker 8: that phone. I did it on NFL Honors. I played
- 33:34Speaker 8: the Clifton.
- 33:35Speaker 4: Oh wow, wow wow. So they got fined. Moving on

- 34:10Speaker 4: God has been telling me to do a gospel album
- 34:12Speaker 4: for years, and I've been running. But the world right
- 34:15Speaker 4: now is dark. It's a lot going on. So I
- 34:18Speaker 4: want to give my father, who's been so good to
- 34:21Speaker 4: me back what he deserves. So mm hmmm. So tell
- 34:26Speaker 4: me now that you know she's releasing a gospel album soon.
- 34:29Speaker 4: You feel the same way about Tasia.
- 34:32Speaker 9: When she when she's this ain't nothing, It's gonna be

- 38:09Speaker 4: joking and he doesn't have a strong preference as to
- 38:12Speaker 4: who will be the next pope. Shockingly, what he is

- 56:43Speaker 4: Thank you. Nephew. Subject his mama has too much access.
- 56:48Speaker 4: Dear Stephen Shirley. I married a man from another country.
- 56:52Speaker 4: He got divorced and moved to Texas for work. He's
- 56:56Speaker 4: a doctor, and he's got two teenage boys that chose
- 56:58Speaker 4: to move to Texas with him after the divorce. They're
- 57:02Speaker 4: in high school and they're friendly to me, but it
- 57:04Speaker 4: is very obvious that there are spies for their mom.
- 57:08Speaker 4: I caught one of them, one of the boys, facetiming
- 57:11Speaker 4: with his mom, but his camera was turned toward me
- 57:14Speaker 4: so she could get a good look at me. The
- 57:16Speaker 4: boys and their mama are not the problem. My husband's
- 57:20Speaker 4: mother is the problem. Right before we got married, she
- 57:23Speaker 4: moved to Texas too. She was living in Virginia with
- 57:26Speaker 4: her second husband, but she left him to come ruin
- 57:29Speaker 4: my life. I told my husband that I was not
- 57:32Speaker 4: going to marry him if he allowed his mother to
- 57:35Speaker 4: live with us. He tried to sneak it in during
- 57:37Speaker 4: our home search by looking for homes with a nice
- 57:40Speaker 4: bedroom on the first floor. No, sir, that was not happening.
- 57:44Speaker 4: So instead she has a little studio apartment in a
- 57:47Speaker 4: building about three miles from our home. The boys go
- 57:51Speaker 4: pick her up all the time, and somehow she ends
- 57:53Speaker 4: up at our house. I am tired of her. She
- 57:57Speaker 4: loves to mention my husband's ex wife to the boys,
- 58:00Speaker 4: make sure that I can hear her conversation. She even
- 58:03Speaker 4: cut her eyes at me once or twice to engage me,
- 58:06Speaker 4: but I ignored her. My husband recently gave her a
- 58:09Speaker 4: key to our house and the cod to the alarm
- 58:12Speaker 4: in case of emergency. She told me that now she
- 58:16Speaker 4: can come check on our grandsons whenever she wants to.
- 58:20Speaker 4: That night, I had the alarm code changed, and I'm
- 58:22Speaker 4: thinking aboutrique king all of the lots. My husband knows
- 58:27Speaker 4: that his tiny Caribbean mama is a pest, but instead
- 58:30Speaker 4: of talking to her, he gives her more access to us.
- 58:34Speaker 4: Why is he so concerned about her feelings and not mine?
- 58:37Speaker 4: Please help? Okay, we've seen this movie before. He's a
- 58:44Speaker 4: typical mama's boy. What else can you say? I mean,
- 58:47Speaker 4: he either doesn't know how or he refuses to cut
- 58:50Speaker 4: the apron strings and put you his wife first. His
- 58:53Speaker 4: mom is a metler and she's there unannounced, not to
- 58:58Speaker 4: see her great and sons, like she said, I mean,
- 59:01Speaker 4: she's there to rereak havoc, to get in your business.
- 59:04Speaker 4: She's there to be nosy and to undermine your relationship.
- 59:08Speaker 4: And I'm glad you changed the alarm codes again, and
- 59:11Speaker 4: yes you should change the locks again, Riquiem. No, she
- 59:16Speaker 4: should not have access to your house like this. No
- 59:19Speaker 4: one should but you and your husband. I think it's
- 59:21Speaker 4: time for you and your husband to have a serious
- 59:23Speaker 4: talk about how are you going to move forward with
- 59:25Speaker 4: his mama out of the house and out of your business.
- 59:29Speaker 8: Steve, he doesn't strike me as a mama's boy. That's
- 59:34Speaker 8: not what he strikes me as. Oh, he's concerned about
- 59:40Speaker 8: his mother. He's trying to do for his mother. But
- 59:43Speaker 8: I don't think he's a mama's boy. If he was
- 59:44Speaker 8: a mama's boy, he would have insisted that she's staying now.
- 59:49Speaker 8: Was his mama's boy, he would have she would he
- 59:51Speaker 8: would have insisted that you all get the bigger house
- 59:53Speaker 8: with the bed of your house there. Instead, he moved
- 59:56Speaker 8: her three blocks away, probably because the marriage was over with,
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: you know, and so she was alone and he has
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: money and he's trying to pay his mom back. That's
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: what it sounds like to me. But this is all
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: going bad for you, and rightfully so. The question you
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: asked in the letter, though was why is he so
- 1:00:21Speaker 8: concerned about her feelings and not mine? Well, it's his mother.
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: Most dudes are concerned about their mother's feeling It's not
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: that he's not concerned about your.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: He is, but he's still giving his mama some access.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Your problem is the past is haunting you.
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: His past, the boys being a spy for the mama,
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: the grandmama liking the exbeded in you.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: That's your problem.
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: It's it's a combination because you started to let her
- 1:00:57Speaker 8: off complaining. You know that, you know you married a
- 1:01:00Speaker 8: man from another country, obviously some Caribbean country because you
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: mentioned that about his mother.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: He moved to Texas for he's a doctor.
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: Got these two teenage boys that chose to move to
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: Texas with him after the divorce. So obviously he's a
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: good dude. They're in high school and they're friendly to me.
- 1:01:20Speaker 8: But it's very obviously that they are spies for their mom.
- 1:01:23Speaker 8: Pull up, lady, they still love their mama. Now, they're
- 1:01:27Speaker 8: not spies for the mama, but the mama is using
- 1:01:30Speaker 8: them for information. What she looked like, let me see her,
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: and so he faced timing and then he aim the
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: camera at you. So she got a good look at you.
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: The boys and their mama are not the problem, okay,
- 1:01:40Speaker 8: but you mentioned it. Though you mentioned it, So now
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: the mama becomes the straw that broke the camel's back
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: because you think everybody out to get you. You just
- 1:01:55Speaker 8: said the boys is nice to you after they face timing.
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: She in the room, let me see them.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: They ain't gonna do it. It's his mama.
- 1:02:02Speaker 8: Now, my husband's mother is the propert, because right before
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: we got married, she moved to Texas too. She was
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: living in Virginia with her second husband, but she left
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: him to come ruin my life. No, well the marriage
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: didn't work. So now the only family she got is
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: in Texas. He moved there from another country. My baby
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: in Texas, my grandkids. I'm gonna go live out there.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: Too. Bad for you. You told him you weren't gonna
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: marry him if he allowed his mother to live with us.
- 1:02:31Speaker 8: He tried to sneak it in doing our home search
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: by looking for homes with a nice bedroom on the
- 1:02:35Speaker 8: first floor.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: No, so that was not happening. He considered your feelings.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: It didn't happen.
- 1:02:40Speaker 8: So instead she's got a little studio apartment in the
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: building about three miles from our home.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: That ain't bad.
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: The boys go pick up all the time. It's they grandmama,
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: all right, somehow she end up at our house. That's
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: where they live.
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: twenty three minutes to after the hour. Today's strawberry letter
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: subjects his mama has too much access. We'll get back
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: into it right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: Hardy Morning Show. You've heard us talk about the benefits
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: of Globe Life insurance. Globe Life has been protecting families
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: for generations. Globe Life is easy to buy, with rates
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: starting as low as three dollars and forty nine cents
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: a month. There is no medical exam, just a simple application.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: Call Globe Life today at one eight hundred two five
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: one fifty four hundred, or visit Globelife radio dot com again.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: That's one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: or globelifradio dot com. All right, come on, Steve, let's
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: recap today's strawberry letter. The subject his mama has too
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: much access.
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: Now, I'll admit that the title of the letter is true,
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: but your reasoning for thinking it is a little bit off,
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: but just let me try to help you with it.
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: Her husband is a divorced doctor from another country moved
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: to Texas to get work. He got two nat teenage boys.
- 1:04:06Speaker 8: They decided to move to Texas with their daddy follow
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: the money. They in high school. They friendly to me,
- 1:04:14Speaker 8: but obviously that they are spies for they mom. Don't
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: relegate the boys down to that. You just said they're
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: nice to you, They like you. They mama is taking
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: advantage of the situation. It ain't that the boys is spies.
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: But then you say the boys and the mama ain't
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: the problem, but you just said they was. It's really
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: her mama. Right before we got married, she moved to
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: Texas too. She was living in Virginia with her second husband,
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: but she left him to come ruin my life. I
- 1:04:43Speaker 8: don't know if you notice it. Everything in this letter
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: is about you and how you feel and what's wrong
- 1:04:47Speaker 8: with you. And I understand that that's why you write
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: in the letters. But come on, Ain't nobody moved here
- 1:04:52Speaker 8: to ruin your life. You don't like the lady.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: I told my husband I was gonna marry him and
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: be allowed his mother to live with us. He didn't.
- 1:05:00Speaker 8: She tried to sneak it in doing our search for
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: homes with a nice bedroom on the first floor.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: I told him, no, sir, that's not happening.
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: He didn't do it, ended up getting his mom in
- 1:05:08Speaker 8: an apartment three miles away in a building. Okay, the
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: boys go pick up all the time, and somehow she
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: ends up at our house. It's where the boy stay.
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: I am tired of her. She loves to mention my
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: husband's ex wife to the boys and make sure that
- 1:05:29Speaker 8: I hear her conversation.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: I got that, you know, she rubbing it in. She
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: liked the other lady better than she liked it. Facts
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: that just happened.
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: Maybe the lady was nice, nice to her. You ain't
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: nice to her. You're not welcoming to her, You're not
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: kind to her.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: So, yeah, she liked the other lady better. You don't
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: see that.
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: She's even cut her eyes at me once or twice
- 1:05:58Speaker 8: to engage me. But I know her, I don't know
- 1:06:00Speaker 8: what that means. Cut her eyes at me once or
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: twice to engage me, I.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Don't know what that means. Anyway, she told me that now,
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: but I've ignored her.
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: My husband recently gave her key to the house cold
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: to the alarm in case of emergency. She told me,
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: now she can come check on her grandsons whenever she
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: wants to. That night, I had the alarm cold change,
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: and I'm thinking about Rique and all Wreki and all
- 1:06:24Speaker 8: the locks.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: My husband knows his tiny careb mama is a pastiman.
- 1:06:29Speaker 8: Instead of talking to her, he gives her more access
- 1:06:31Speaker 8: to hers Why is he concerned about so concerned about
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: her feelings and not mine.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: He is concerned about your feelings. But that's his mama.
- 1:06:40Speaker 8: What you want him to do? Throw his mama to
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: the side. She'd have moved the Texas. Second marriage is over.
- 1:06:46Speaker 8: It ain't working out. He knows mama crazy.
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: You don't think that. But it is his mama, him
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: giving her his mom access to the house though she
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: can come in whenever.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know you would give your mother akiiti
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: house for emergency. You would do that. You would do that.
- 1:07:04Speaker 8: But if she lived in the same if she lived
- 1:07:08Speaker 8: in the same city, you would give your mama a
- 1:07:11Speaker 8: key to the house in case you need. You with
- 1:07:14Speaker 8: out a country that when our town you left something
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: everybody would do that. I don't think nobody. Not when
- 1:07:19Speaker 8: your mama never had a key to this, I don't
- 1:07:21Speaker 8: think that was it. The problem is she told her
- 1:07:23Speaker 8: I can come over with it whatever I want. But
- 1:07:30Speaker 8: you know that may not be the case because the
- 1:07:32Speaker 8: boys got to go over there to get her, you know,
- 1:07:37Speaker 8: and they end up at the house. Please help. I
- 1:07:42Speaker 8: think you should chill a little bit. Why don't you
- 1:07:46Speaker 8: take this approach? Why don't you make friends with the mama.
- 1:07:52Speaker 8: Why don't y'all go to lunch one day? Why don't
- 1:07:55Speaker 8: y'all go shopping one day and just share how you feel?
- 1:08:00Speaker 8: Ask your Can y'all have a better relationship?
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: Try that?
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: Have you ever thought of that? Are you just stuck
- 1:08:10Speaker 8: on getting it your way or no way? Because you're
- 1:08:13Speaker 8: changing alarm codes on the woman?
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: That ain't right?
- 1:08:16Speaker 10: You know?
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Come on, now, a simple conversation with the lady might
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: fix that.
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: Now, I suppose that is a real emergency and she
- 1:08:26Speaker 8: coming over there and she can't get in because alarm
- 1:08:29Speaker 8: cold ain't working.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: So so isn't that a conversation that the husband should
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: have with the mom?
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: No, it's the two women got to have this conversation.
- 1:08:38Speaker 8: You can't fix two women. Surely, try you ever tried that. Yeah,
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: you're not fixing two women. Not no, dude, because you
- 1:08:45Speaker 8: don't even understand where they're coming from. But I'm saying,
- 1:08:48Speaker 8: that's the conversation between I just told you in my
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: answer to the letter that I think Shuiry that she
- 1:08:56Speaker 8: ought to have conversations with the man.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Mama. Now you had your chance do the letter. If
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: it's my answer, No, I'm.
- 1:09:03Speaker 10: Tell you what.
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: You can say whatever. I'm just asking a question. That's it.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: I just told her saying, not why you were doing that.
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: I just asked the questions. But go ahead, Tommy.
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: Uh?
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: Uh? Am I wrong? Am I wrong for what I'm saying?
- 1:09:28Speaker 12: Your call?
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: Am I wrong for what I'm saying?
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: Who is?
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: Just ask you a question?
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Can she not ask all right questions?
- 1:09:45Speaker 10: Sir?
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: It's nothing.
- 1:09:48Speaker 12: Uh.

- 1:10:22Speaker 8: of twenty one billion dollars in the United States over
- 1:10:25Speaker 8: the next three years that will expand manufacturing and create
- 1:10:28Speaker 8: more jobs for Americas.
- 1:10:30Speaker 9: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 1:10:33Speaker 9: MSRP through June second. No matter what, call five six
- 1:10:37Speaker 9: two three one four forty six zero three for more details.

- 1:10:57Speaker 9: because there's some stuff going on in.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: My high and I just I don't know if it's mean.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: Maybe I'm.
- 1:11:05Speaker 9: I mean, I'm all saying is What's all I'm doing
- 1:11:08Speaker 9: is just saying what's on my mind? And you just
- 1:11:10Speaker 9: tell me that's scary, Just tell me where I'm wrong at. Okay,
- 1:11:15Speaker 9: Now this was last week. Now, last week last week
- 1:11:18Speaker 9: said do my you know, do my stomach look flat?
- 1:11:23Speaker 9: And I said what he said? Do my stomach look flat?
- 1:11:26Speaker 9: All I said was is the letter a silent?
- 1:11:30Speaker 10: You know?
- 1:11:31Speaker 9: That's all I said. That's all I said, is the
- 1:11:35Speaker 9: letter a side? That's all I ask? And now you

- 1:12:33Speaker 4: What flowers?
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: Shot?
- 1:12:35Speaker 8: Yeah, like, yeah, why I don't buy? Why you never
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: buy her flower? And you said I didn't know your soul.
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: As if she had a flower.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: You know what, I can see that. I could see that,
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: thank you. You can you can see that. Yeah, yeah,

- 1:13:26Speaker 2: I can't show you where you're wrong. I can't. I
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: am I taking a bullet that ain't for me. I'm
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: just trying. I just want to tell you this.
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: Every morning show, We're sorry, Jackie, We're sorry. Coming up
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: at the top of the hour, a wife needs some
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: advice and it's not Jackie. My wife is upset because
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: she missed the Jazz Best and we'll talk about that
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: right after this.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: Why I'm wrong?
- 1:13:57Speaker 11: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:04Speaker 10: All right?
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: This is Nadia and Potomac. Nadia says, I had tickets
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: for the Jazz Fest in New Orleans to see Lil
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: Wayne perform I was all set to get my airline tickets,
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: and my husband told me he wanted to see all
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: of Cash Money perform, not just Lil Wayne. He bought
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: two tickets to the Cash Money concert in Jacksonville, and
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: he bought our airline tickets. I was heartbroken when I
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: had to sell my tickets online. The real show was
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: in New Orleans, and I heard Lil Wayne showed out
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: at the jazz Fest. How do I get past all
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: of the hatred I feel toward my husband for being
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: so selfish?
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Why would he do that? I don't know.
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:14:44Speaker 8: It's called forgiveness, but I don't know how you get
- 1:14:47Speaker 8: past the hatred for your.
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: Because she.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Yet he said I won't to
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: see all though.
- 1:15:03Speaker 8: Yeah, slim, little baby, juvenile, everybody, everybody, man, it's fresh.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: I'm up in the here, ma'am. And with Little Wayne
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: in Jacksonville.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: No, no, le Wayne was in New Orleans.
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: He was in Jack's Best in New Orleans.
- 1:15:22Speaker 7: Cash Money was in it was in Jacksonville.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: So he went to see everybody. So she hatred for
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: her husband.
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: She can't get past it. She can't get past it.
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: That's the thing, because she's.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: That's y'alls listen, that's y'all's hip hop generation. I can't
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: tell you how to feel about that. I wouldn't be.
- 1:15:47Speaker 8: I ain't got no take of money to see none
- 1:15:49Speaker 8: of them. But you know that's neither hear nor there.
- 1:15:52Speaker 8: I understand your love for a wheezy little Wayne, one
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: of the greatest of all time. But I'm I'm.
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: A little baby. I'm baby. I'm about him, not lay baby.
- 1:16:08Speaker 8: That's what I'm saying. I'm about baby though, Right, bird man,
- 1:16:14Speaker 8: that's my dude.
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: Right, you would be with her husband, you would have
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: gone to the Yeah.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: I'm going to see bird number one.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I would hate you too, Steve Harvey Lyon and yeah.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm I'm used to being hated. I'm all right.
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: We have time for another one. They got to work
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: for their own marital problems out, we have time for
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: another one. This is from a lease in Culver City.
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: At least says I'm dating a guy that is an
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: only child and he was raised by his mom and grandmother.
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: I took him to meet my big family and he
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: said he was overwhelmed by all of the different conversations
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: going on at once. I have six nieces and nephews
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: that kept trying to talk to him. He said, holidays
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: with my families would stress him out. Does that mean
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: that he and I are not compatible? And will he
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: get used to it?
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: I don't see.
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: Look, man, it's just once every now and then that
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: you got to put up with it. It would stress
- 1:17:12Speaker 8: you out.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: Deal with it. What's that little punk attitude about?
- 1:17:15Speaker 10: It?
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: Has stressed me out?
- 1:17:17Speaker 10: What the hell?
- 1:17:17Speaker 9: Dog?
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: It's life. But she got a big family.
- 1:17:20Speaker 8: So if you love the girl, you get with her
- 1:17:23Speaker 8: big family every now and then, and it'll stress you out.
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: Why because he's an only child?
- 1:17:28Speaker 8: You know, well, tough enough, keep on. You can't be
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: the only one child your whole life. You just want
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: to be the only one child your whole life.
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: I can tell you know what. Man, Let me just
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: go and say this right here.

- 1:17:48Speaker 8: Just get some guts. The girl is a beautiful person.
- 1:17:53Speaker 8: She got a big family.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Man, deal with it.
- 1:17:56Speaker 8: It'll stressed me out. So what you're a black man
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: in America, when you ain't stressed out? At least they
- 1:18:05Speaker 8: trying to talk to you, anybody and wrestling you and
- 1:18:08Speaker 8: none of that the.
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: Family was trying to get to know him. The sixth
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: nieces and nephews.
- 1:18:12Speaker 7: Yeah, we let me say, as an only child, I
- 1:18:16Speaker 7: understand it's a lot.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: We raised them wrong.
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: Yeah, we wanted to give them everything we didn't have.
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: Now they're entitled and everything is too much. Yeah, all right,

- 1:22:43Speaker 1: And so you've done that.
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: Look he's done the bean bag and Tommy's obviously done
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: this trampoline. What happened we put that bean bag on trampoline?
- 1:22:55Speaker 8: Yeah, now for a while, you understand the requirements it
- 1:23:04Speaker 8: is to get on the trampoline.
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: Your toe called in one of them springs, you're gonna
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: want off.
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:23:17Speaker 4: Moving on to would you rather for okay, for a
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: sore throat? Guys, would you rather a warm glass of

- 1:24:09Speaker 8: Folks, there are a lot of reasons to like Hundai,
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: Hyundai's done a lot to support American consumers. I mean,
- 1:24:17Speaker 8: they announced their investment of twenty one billion dollars in
- 1:24:20Speaker 8: the United States over the next three years that will
- 1:24:23Speaker 8: expand manufacturing and create more jobs for Americans.
- 1:24:26Speaker 9: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 1:24:29Speaker 9: MSRP through June second, no matter what. Call five six
- 1:24:33Speaker 9: two three one four four six zero three for more details.
- 1:24:38Speaker 4: Here we are, guys, our last break of the day
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: on this Friday. Wow, what a week, What a day?
- 1:24:45Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: The second already, many, y'all.
- 1:24:51Speaker 4: Sure you know what I'm going to say.
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm thinking Christmas already.
- 1:24:58Speaker 10: Here.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Let's let's go with summer.
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: Can we do that? All right? Steve?
- 1:25:06Speaker 10: Come on?
- 1:25:08Speaker 8: You know what we were talking earlier about the constitution.
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: We were talking about our president possibly trying to seek
- 1:25:20Speaker 8: a third term, and the question arose, isn't that against
- 1:25:26Speaker 8: the constitution? Excuse me? You know, I didn't vote for
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: Donald Trump, but I've been sitting here hoping that he
- 1:25:37Speaker 8: gets some things right, because that is the plight we
- 1:25:41Speaker 8: we we are, We are resigned to this for four years.
- 1:25:45Speaker 8: So I am hoping that he gets some things right. Now,
- 1:25:48Speaker 8: He's done some things that has been right. He's done
- 1:25:52Speaker 8: some things that's been right. Uh past, some policies that's
- 1:25:57Speaker 8: been right. The bathrooms, he straightened that sit situation out.
- 1:26:01Speaker 8: I happen to agree with not allowing transgender men to
- 1:26:06Speaker 8: participate in female sports. I happen to agree with that.
- 1:26:10Speaker 8: You know, it's just not it's not it's not fair,
- 1:26:13Speaker 8: it's not right. It's just a matter of fairness. So
- 1:26:19Speaker 8: it's a couple of things he's done that he's gotten right.
- 1:26:23Speaker 8: I'm also looking at the things that are going horribly wrong.
- 1:26:29Speaker 8: And even though we have different views and different takes
- 1:26:32Speaker 8: on this show, the question was posed this morning, could
- 1:26:38Speaker 8: he seek a third term? Is that constitutional? And it
- 1:26:43Speaker 8: just laid me down a path man about our constitution.
- 1:26:47Speaker 8: You know, I wish that this Constitution would be upheld
- 1:26:50Speaker 8: to the letter. It would be okay. It needs amending,
- 1:26:56Speaker 8: like I think the Second Amendment needs amending personally, that
- 1:27:01Speaker 8: everybody should not have the right to bear arms. Why
- 1:27:06Speaker 8: because we lead the world in murders, we lead the
- 1:27:11Speaker 8: world in gun violence. We need some laws about these guns.
- 1:27:20Speaker 8: We lead the world in school shootings, mall shootings, church shootings,
- 1:27:25Speaker 8: mass moss shootings, and temple shootings. We lead the world
- 1:27:30Speaker 8: in that we lead the world in gunshot victims of civilians.
- 1:27:36Speaker 8: These are not people that war in the army. We
- 1:27:39Speaker 8: lead the world in that we lead the world in
- 1:27:42Speaker 8: incarcerated people. We who are supposed to be the most
- 1:27:47Speaker 8: powerful free nation. I wish that everybody had their inalible
- 1:27:54Speaker 8: right to the pursuit of happiness. I wish that every
- 1:27:58Speaker 8: American was afforded the rights that are supposed to be
- 1:28:01Speaker 8: afforded to Americans.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: But it's not the case. It has never been the
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: case for us, and I don't see it becoming the
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: case for us. This is alarming, man, that we are
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: still fighting for civil rights. Do you understand what civil
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: rights means? All we're asking is that we have the
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: right to be treated civil. That's a simple request. Why
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: is it a for vote? Why is it being rescinded.
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: We are not asking to be treated special or better,
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: just civil. We want civil rights. Why we can't get
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: that It's in the constitution. But it's in the constitution.
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: For who do we have the available right to the
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: pursuit of happiness? Can we live anywhere we want to live? No,
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: not without some type of pushback. I'm facing that now.
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: I'm facing pushback on a place I live in.
- 1:29:08Speaker 8: The dude who built a house that I live in,
- 1:29:11Speaker 8: he had pushback on even purchasing the land.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: I'm just telling you, man, we.
- 1:29:18Speaker 8: Are constantly fighting for basic things, just basic things that
- 1:29:24Speaker 8: other humans get to have and walk around and do.
- 1:29:28Speaker 8: I constantly have had to talk to my three sons
- 1:29:33Speaker 8: about how to act when the police pull them over.
- 1:29:37Speaker 8: When I watch live police video cams, and I watch
- 1:29:40Speaker 8: white boys and men get pulled over and talk to
- 1:29:44Speaker 8: the police so disrespectful and nothing happens. I'm watching this
- 1:29:50Speaker 8: same show, going what would happen if a black person
- 1:29:54Speaker 8: talk back to a police officer like this, Get your
- 1:29:57Speaker 8: hands off me. I'm not giving you nothing, because I've
- 1:30:02Speaker 8: seen it go badly for them for far less. I
- 1:30:06Speaker 8: watched George Floyd get murdered for less, for not not complying,
- 1:30:14Speaker 8: but for simply complying and asking the man to get
- 1:30:19Speaker 8: your knee off my neck so I can breathe.
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: Y'all saw it.
- 1:30:23Speaker 8: So this constitution that y'all keep waving, this great piece
- 1:30:28Speaker 8: of paper that was written by your forefathers, who I
- 1:30:31Speaker 8: must remind you were enslavers. You operating on a piece
- 1:30:37Speaker 8: of paper people, written by people who own people. How
- 1:30:42Speaker 8: could this piece of paper be that important?
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: Y'all?
- 1:30:47Speaker 8: Y'all get to live under that, and we just under it.
- 1:30:54Speaker 8: That's what the constitution is for us. So are you
- 1:31:00Speaker 8: on us to feel? But if it were happening to you,
- 1:31:03Speaker 8: how would you feel? Or does that you ever take
- 1:31:07Speaker 8: that into consideration? Those are my closing remarks that probably
- 1:31:12Speaker 8: didn't help nobody today, accept me, So thank you to
- 1:31:15Speaker 8: me for just saying what you wanted to say today.
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: Have a great day, y'all. Talk to God. He'd love
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: to hear from you.
