• 2:07
Speaker 1: one and only. Uh, Steve Harvey got a radio show,
• 2:10
Speaker 1: Yeah you do. Steve Harvey got a radio show. But
• 2:13
Speaker 1: like I said the other day, you got something too, though,
• 2:15
Speaker 1: don't you. God didn't done something wonderful for you. You
• 2:18
Speaker 1: just gotta thank Him for it, you know, in the
• 2:21
Speaker 1: midst of all that's going on in my life and
• 2:24
Speaker 1: in your life. You know, I always use myself as
• 2:27
Speaker 1: an example because well I mean that way. I guarantee
• 2:31
Speaker 1: one hundred percent I know what I'm talking about. Um,
• 2:35
Speaker 1: here's the situation, you know, with everything that's going on
• 2:38
Speaker 1: in my life and all the things I'm asking God
• 2:41
Speaker 1: for in the midst of a taxing and a very
• 2:47
Speaker 1: trying situation. That's very challenging for me right now. Man,
• 2:52
Speaker 1: God just keeps on, keeps on surprising me. He keeps
• 2:57
Speaker 1: doing things. And I want you to look at your life.
• 3:00
Speaker 1: Or for a second, let's make two columns here. Let's
• 3:05
Speaker 1: make a column of all the things you want from God.
• 3:09
Speaker 1: You know, just do that throughout the course of the day.
• 3:12
Speaker 1: You know, you know, run down the list of all
• 3:14
Speaker 1: the things you're asking God for, all the things you're
• 3:16
Speaker 1: praying for, the things you aspire to, what your dreams,
• 3:20
Speaker 1: your visions, whatever it is. Just make a column, a
• 3:23
Speaker 1: list of all those things. Let's make three lists. And
• 3:27
Speaker 1: then the second list, I want you to make a
• 3:30
Speaker 1: list of everything that you've been asking God for. So
• 3:36
Speaker 1: I guess that could be a little bit of the same.
• 3:39
Speaker 1: But this third list, I want you to do a
• 3:41
Speaker 1: check off point. I want you to do a make
• 3:43
Speaker 1: a list of everything that God has given you that
• 3:47
Speaker 1: you've asked him for. Just think about it like that
• 3:50
Speaker 1: for a second. I may be explaining a little wrong
• 3:53
Speaker 1: right now, but I'm gonna pull it together for you.
• 3:56
Speaker 1: Make a list of everything you're asking God for. Just
• 4:00
  Speaker 1: it's listed. You know, It's okay, It's a dream board.
• 4:02
Speaker 1: You can call it that I got one. It's a
• 4:04
Speaker 1: vision board. You know. Every everybody's got something you hope for.
• 4:07
Speaker 1: Make a list now. I want you to make another
• 4:11
Speaker 1: list of everything you've asked God for that he's given
• 4:15
Speaker 1: you already. See this is a good list because sometimes
• 4:21
Speaker 1: and what I've been guilty of, and maybe you two
• 4:24
Speaker 1: in my request list on my dream board. I keep
• 4:28
Speaker 1: focusing so hard sometimes on the what I'm yet to receive.
• 4:34
Speaker 1: I keep focusing so hard on the what I hope
• 4:38
Speaker 1: he gives me. I keep focusing so hard on the
• 4:41
Speaker 1: things that I yet not fulfilled in my life that sometimes,
• 4:47
Speaker 1: as he starts checking off my wish list the things
• 4:51
Speaker 1: I've asked for in the past that have come to
• 4:54
Speaker 1: pass that he's given me, I sometimes, in praying for
• 4:58
Speaker 1: what I want, get to thank him for what he's
• 5:02
Speaker 1: done for me. And I'm currently in the middle of
• 5:05
Speaker 1: that situation. And this morning when I woke up, I really, man,
• 5:08
Speaker 1: I just got on my knees this morning and I
• 5:10
Speaker 1: quit tripping for a second. I said, Man, hey, God,
• 5:13
Speaker 1: you know what I really do need all them things
• 5:17
Speaker 1: I'm asking for, and I'm really am believing that You're
• 5:19
Speaker 1: gonna give it to me. But in the meantime, though, Man,
• 5:23
Speaker 1: have I overlooked some important details here? I had to
• 5:27
Speaker 1: really look at what he's done for me. I mean, look, man,
• 5:31
Speaker 1: take yourself out of it personally and look, well, you
• 5:34
Speaker 1: can leave yourself in it however you want to be.
• 5:35
Speaker 1: Some people can't do that, So just leave yourself in it. Then.
• 5:38
Speaker 1: But man, I started looking at the eye part of me,
• 5:42
Speaker 1: and I started looking around at the what's happening overall. Like, man,
• 5:46
Speaker 1: he has kept my family together in spite of the
• 5:50
Speaker 1: attempts to tear it apart. I look at all of that.
• 5:53
Speaker 1: I look at how he's blessing my children with the
• 5:55
Speaker 1: desires of their heart, which I pray for my kids.
• 5:58
Speaker 1: You know, I want my kids to have a better
• 6:00
  Speaker 1: life than I've had. I really really do. I don't
• 6:02
Speaker 1: want them to take as long as it took me
• 6:05
Speaker 1: to get it together. I really really don't. I'm trying
• 6:08
Speaker 1: to say, hey, man, if you go to college, this
• 6:10
Speaker 1: is what you can be. Don't do like your father did.
• 6:12
Speaker 1: Don't go three years, drop out, throw yourself into a
• 6:15
Speaker 1: spiral and then got to start to scratch all over again.
• 6:18
Speaker 1: You know, And for the most part. So far, you know,
• 6:22
Speaker 1: they're doing quite well of it. You know, you know
• 6:24
Speaker 1: they they're getting kicked around a little bit, but that's life.
• 6:27
Speaker 1: I started thinking of the blessings that he's helped me
• 6:30
Speaker 1: overcome with some of the previous mistakes I've made in
• 6:34
Speaker 1: relationships in my life. And then I started looking about
• 6:39
Speaker 1: the things he's blessed me with that I've been asking
• 6:41
Speaker 1: him for. But since I've moved on from it, I
• 6:44
Speaker 1: forgot to keep thinking him because I gotta always thank
• 6:47
Speaker 1: God for a roof over my head because guess what,
• 6:50
Speaker 1: when I was asking for the roof and I didn't
• 6:52
Speaker 1: really have it, then he gave me one that since
• 6:54
Speaker 1: he gave it to me, what, I'm just cool now,
• 6:56
Speaker 1: I can't ever go back to him and go, hey, man,
• 6:59
Speaker 1: I really do appreciate this roof over my head because
• 7:02
Speaker 1: that was a time when I was living in a car.
• 7:04
Speaker 1: But see, so every morning I wake up, I gotta
• 7:06
Speaker 1: remember the fact that I have a home now, because
• 7:09
Speaker 1: I got to look back and go, man, that was time, Steve,
• 7:12
Speaker 1: when you didn't have no home. But see, we forget
• 7:15
Speaker 1: what God has done for us. Because in our column,
• 7:19
Speaker 1: the won't column, the need column, we oftentimes forget for
• 7:24
Speaker 1: the columns and the check marks, as He's already fulfilled
• 7:28
Speaker 1: in our life. You've got to take inventory every now
• 7:32
Speaker 1: and then daily if possible. But I know we're humans.
• 7:35
  Speaker 1: We're not gonna do that. I don't. But you've got
• 7:38
Speaker 1: to take inventory of your life to say, hey, what
• 7:43
Speaker 1: has God done for me? You know? And remember something
• 7:46
Speaker 1: else too. Change is good, but change is challenging. Accept
• 7:52
Speaker 1: the challenge that it is. Look a lot of you
• 7:56
Speaker 1: come up to me all the time and say, Steve Man,
• 7:59
Speaker 1: thank you, man boy, you in the morning. Man, I
• 8:01
Speaker 1: really be needing that, Like I under said it one
• 8:04
Speaker 1: hundred times, but I'm gonna say it again, y'all. I'd
• 8:06
Speaker 1: be needing it too. You know. You understand, sometimes what
• 8:11
Speaker 1: God is dealing with me is for me. But now
• 8:15
Speaker 1: I'm in a sharing position where I can open up
• 8:18
Speaker 1: and if I just if I just quit being so
• 8:21
Speaker 1: about me and become a little bit more transparent, I
• 8:24
Speaker 1: can maybe some of me that's happening to me is
• 8:27
Speaker 1: happening to you, and you can see some of this
• 8:29
Speaker 1: in me. That's why I use myself as an example,
• 8:32
Speaker 1: because man, I'm catching it too, y'all. I ain't perfect either.
• 8:36
Speaker 1: So for those of you that come up to me
• 8:38
Speaker 1: and say that, I want you to understand these these
• 8:41
Speaker 1: talks in the morning. Man, this is important for me
• 8:45
Speaker 1: because man, I need these conversations from God. I need
• 8:49
Speaker 1: God to continue to strengthen me, to show me the way,
• 8:53
Speaker 1: to help me understand what's happening to me. And see,
• 8:57
Speaker 1: as we've all those of you who have made the
• 8:59
Speaker 1: decision to change, to become a better person, a better woman,
• 9:03
Speaker 1: a better boy, a better girl, a better man. For
• 9:05
Speaker 1: those of you have made the decision to change, change
• 9:07
Speaker 1: is a challenge, and accept the challenge because it's gonna come.
• 9:10
Speaker 1: Because right out of that here come to haters. It
• 9:13
Speaker 1: ain't come people you don't even know, discussing your life
• 9:17
Speaker 1: and your change. If God see you, really really mean
• 9:20
Speaker 1: what you say in spite of what they say about you,
• 9:24
Speaker 1: God will raise you above the phrase. He'll keep promoting you,
• 9:28
Speaker 1: he'll keep blessing you, He'll keep moving you up. He
• 9:32
Speaker 1: will use you as a show off point. He'll show
• 9:36
Speaker 1: you off man. He'll make you. He'll make you look
• 9:39
Speaker 1: good to people man who wish you'd fall all day long.
• 9:42
Speaker 1: And so to all your haters, all your haters, will
• 9:45
Speaker 1: end up just watching you rise. Man, They will watch
• 9:47
Speaker 1: you continue to grow. That's what God will do for you. Man.
• 9:51
Speaker 1: You can fool the world, but you can't fool God.
• 9:54
Speaker 1: God know your heart, he know your every thought. Man.
• 9:57
Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Ladies and gentlemen, man, have your
• 10:04
Speaker 1: undivided attention. Please. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

Speaker 1: He said, if if let me see he okay, you're

Speaker 1: you what I'm up to. That and the nephew too.
• 13:43
Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Morning show? So ja, yes, baby,
• 13:50
Speaker 1: what's uh? You are back to the old Jay. I'm
• 13:54
Speaker 1: back to the old Jay. Cancer baby. Don't tell me
• 13:58
Speaker 1: o jail but don't Oh yeah, she said, oh Jay,
• 14:03
  Speaker 1: I didn't say, well you y'all got a lot in
• 14:06
Speaker 1: common though, like white women. But I don't kill man.
• 14:17
Speaker 1: Thank you, Jake. And the last difference, yeah, what have
• 14:24
Speaker 1: you been doing? What I'm really trying to now? I
• 14:27
Speaker 1: accept what he said. I have no problem with what
• 14:31
Speaker 1: he said. You know, he made his own decision about
• 14:34
Speaker 1: what he said. I'm just trying to digest what Tank said.
• 14:38
  Speaker 1: I don't don't digest it. I'm not okay how I
• 14:46
Speaker 1: can accept it because he's saying this is what I
• 14:49
Speaker 1: you know, Okay, but help me. Somebody helped me. Help me? Okay,
• 14:54
Speaker 1: you can help me, help me. Nobody else this show
• 14:59
Speaker 1: can help one person nobody. Okay, it's back to the
• 15:03
Speaker 1: ignorance as usual. I see what did he say? What
• 15:09
Speaker 1: he said is if a man is with another man,
• 15:13
Speaker 1: that don't make a man gay. He also said if
• 15:17
Speaker 1: a man goes back to another man again and he
• 15:19
Speaker 1: decides he don't like it, he's still I can accept
• 15:25
Speaker 1: what he said. It's his opinion. Yeah, you have to
• 15:30
Speaker 1: get two trial runs. I don't know what that means.
• 15:36
Speaker 1: There's no limit or anything. It's just his opinion. He
• 15:41
Speaker 1: asked about all these comments? Is JA Athony Brown? I
• 15:45
Speaker 1: wanted to be clear the crisin don't commented publicly on
• 15:50
Speaker 1: this in any way. So what else you've been doing? Jack? Yeah?
• 15:55
Speaker 1: DITI take statement? Ain't fire? Everybody listening to the Shogle
• 16:09
Speaker 1: answer the man? Keep ahead. You know you've been watching
• 16:17
Speaker 1: the news. What else have you been doing? Jay? Okay,
• 16:24
Speaker 1: hit hit Yes it is comment on. Wait a minute, JA,
• 16:35
Speaker 1: so does does now here? You go? You go? So
• 16:42
Speaker 1: it's it's tank okay we malik yobs. I don't know Tommy.
• 16:48
Speaker 1: I don't know clear that Tommy on the show is
• 16:58
Speaker 1: making these Tommy he said what he said? What is it?
• 17:05
Speaker 1: How do we know how he feels? Let me ask
• 17:11
Speaker 1: you a question, JA on social media. You're filming a
• 17:16
Speaker 1: movie with ray J. I just finished a movie with
• 17:19
Speaker 1: ray J. The movie is called The App That Stole Christmas.
• 17:23
Speaker 1: Ray J's in it. Scrunch your plays in elf. Of course,
• 17:26
Speaker 1: what else would he play? But anyway, I played Sanet
• 17:30
Speaker 1: tom Finish with Ready to Love. Jo could have got
• 17:39
Speaker 1: that one because he that's him. The only person could
• 17:48
Speaker 1: have beat him out of the dude on Game of Thrones, Terry,
• 17:54
Speaker 1: Come on, Jay and finish. It didn't have any little
• 17:57
Speaker 1: people as elf. You know they didn't in this movie.
• 18:00
Speaker 1: It isn't. But I played Santa Claus, so you played
• 18:04
Speaker 1: Santa Claus. But here's the thing and but here's the
• 18:07
Speaker 1: thing on the set. The sept discussing was the septet
• 18:12
Speaker 1: of discussion was what was Tank thinking about it? That's
• 18:15
Speaker 1: what you bring it back around? Were like, well, what
• 18:25
Speaker 1: the hell did he need? Jay? I have an idea.
• 18:30
Speaker 1: This is what I'm gonna do today, Tommy and Junior.
• 18:35
Speaker 1: I want everybody chill today. I am going to feature
• 18:40
Speaker 1: one of my favorite comedians of all time. Today. I'm
• 18:44
Speaker 1: gonna let Jay Anthony Brown be as ignorant jan Jane.
• 18:50
Speaker 1: Since you cancel free in celebration of being cancel free
• 18:55
Speaker 1: and you you off Chemo, what I'm gonna do is
• 18:58
Speaker 1: and Jay, I asked you as your friend. We've been
• 19:02
Speaker 1: friends since nineteen eighty six. I want you to be
• 19:08
Speaker 1: as ignorant as you possibly can today. So when all
• 19:12
Speaker 1: the ladies answer all the questions, your thoughts is gonna
• 19:16
Speaker 1: lead us in then Jay, I mean, then Tommy and Junior.
• 19:21
Speaker 1: If you allow me to comment on him, then y'all
• 19:24
Speaker 1: join it. But our job is to let I want
• 19:27
Speaker 1: you to let Jay lead in. At Jay, I don't
• 19:29
Speaker 1: want you to pull no punches. Be this boy actually
• 19:35
Speaker 1: taught me how to do comedy. Jay, you ain't got
• 19:39
Speaker 1: all these sponsors, got all these TV shows folding you back? Man?
• 19:45
Speaker 1: Do you dog my first ignorant statement? Come on? Might
• 19:51
Speaker 1: have to bleep this, come on, might have to bleep more.
• 19:54
Speaker 1: The question is is this sugar entertained? That's the question,
• 20:01
Speaker 1: Like so ignorant? Are you sure you want to? Yeah,
• 20:11
Speaker 1: I'm gonna do what the other show never did. I'm
• 20:15
Speaker 1: gonna cut his ass loose, let him go, do you doggy?
• 20:18
Speaker 1: We celebrating being cancer free beautiful was made all right?
• 20:26
Speaker 1: Well you heard it from the man himself. It's his show.
• 20:29
Speaker 1: So he wants Jay to be ignorance like he needed permission. Yeah.
• 20:34
Speaker 1: Coming up next it is the nephew would run that
• 20:37
Speaker 1: prank back right, after this You're listening show coming up
• 20:43
Speaker 1: at the top of the hour and entertainment news lamar
• 20:46
Speaker 1: odom dated Taraji p Henson. Did you know that? I
• 20:50
Speaker 1: don't think so. Plus R Kelly sure she don't want
• 20:55
Speaker 1: that out too late? I'm sorry, yeah, yeah, you got one.
• 21:03
Speaker 1: Sorry well. Also R Kelly lost another lawyer and we're
• 21:08
Speaker 1: gonna talk about all of that at the top of
• 21:10
Speaker 1: the hour. But right now he's back, right now, why
• 21:14
Speaker 1: would another lawyer walk out? First of all, Steve, I
• 21:18
Speaker 1: don't blame lawyers from because his ass ain't never getting out.
• 21:25
Speaker 1: They will be playing music on the news. They won't
• 21:28
Speaker 1: be CDs will be gone. It'll be something else. We'll

Speaker 1: how that will be doing out smuggling music. Thank you man.
• 21:53
Speaker 1: All right, the ring there, it is the ring running
• 21:56
Speaker 1: that prank back. Let's go cat. Hello, Hello, I'm trying
• 22:00
Speaker 1: to reach a Denise please, Yes, this is she, Hi Denise.
• 22:04

• 22:13
Speaker 1: you gave it to one of my salespersons, and yes
• 22:16
Speaker 1: you wanted to get it resized as well as as
• 22:19
Speaker 1: get it a praise. Correct, yes, yes, yes, and you
• 22:21
Speaker 1: don't have to tell him up to be a bit
• 22:24
Speaker 1: on my own. Okay, wow, okay, listen, I actually do
• 22:28
Speaker 1: to resize the ring. And first of all, let me
• 22:30
Speaker 1: be the first to say, um, congratulations, when when is
• 22:34
Speaker 1: your wedding? Thank you? I'm getting married and stuff come there, Well,
• 22:37
Speaker 1: congratulations to thank you. Listen. I don't know how to
• 22:41
Speaker 1: tell you this now. As far as the appraiser less concern,
• 22:43
Speaker 1: I've looked at your ring over and over and this
• 22:48
Speaker 1: ring is probably worth maybe fifty dollars. Excuse me, I've
• 22:54
Speaker 1: I've been I've been in this business for over twenty years.
• 22:56
Speaker 1: But you know when I'm confused on what you just seeing,
• 22:59
Speaker 1: and I understand that. What I'm trying to explain to
• 23:00
Speaker 1: you is that I've been in this business for for
• 23:02
Speaker 1: twenty years. I've seen so many different pieces of jewelry
• 23:05
Speaker 1: and this is something that you that you buy late
• 23:09
Speaker 1: night on an infomercial for nineteen ninety nine. This is
• 23:12
Speaker 1: a Cubic Sclonian stones and the gold is not real
• 23:17
Speaker 1: at all. It's like, wait you wait, you lost me.
• 23:20
Speaker 1: You lost me as much money as my pen make
• 23:22
Speaker 1: and as much money as my father is putting down
• 23:25
Speaker 1: on his wedding or has put down. And you're gonna
• 23:28
Speaker 1: understand everything you're saying. But Denise, honestly, what I need
• 23:31
Speaker 1: you to do is hold on. Wait wait, no, I
• 23:34
Speaker 1: need you to hold on because we need to convict us.
• 23:37
Speaker 1: Wait wait man, First of all, I can't wait wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
• 23:42
Speaker 1: hold down, hold on because I'm trying to do you
• 23:48
Speaker 1: wait wait wait what are you trying to What you're
• 23:49
Speaker 1: trying to do, sir? I need I need you to
• 23:52
Speaker 1: repeat what you just said to me. Okay, I need
• 23:56
Speaker 1: little of personal stuff. Man. You oh you hit it.
• 23:59
Speaker 1: It's personal now. So I need you to hold on. Okay, Oh,
• 24:04
Speaker 1: she called her man. Okay, thank thank hello, Victim. I
• 24:10
Speaker 1: need to listen to this jeweler that's on the phone.
• 24:12
Speaker 1: I want you to hit it. And he just told me,
• 24:14
Speaker 1: what's what's the problem? What you mean, what's the problem
• 24:16
Speaker 1: he's gonna tell you what the problem is. Gonna hit on, sir,
• 24:18
Speaker 1: gonna hit on. Who Hello, Yeah, who's this? My name
• 24:22
Speaker 1: is Gavin. I'm from Diamonds. And actually your wife, I
• 24:26
Speaker 1: mean where your fiance rather, she brought her ring in
• 24:28
Speaker 1: to actually be resized. Yeah, and we we also did
• 24:32
Speaker 1: an appraisal on the ring for her. And actually the
• 24:36
Speaker 1: ring is estimated to be only, in the words of
• 24:38
Speaker 1: around fifty dollars. Fifty dollars fifty that's what the man said,
• 24:44
Speaker 1: do sir. Obviously there's some sort of mistakes, sir. Yeah,
• 24:49
Speaker 1: what you got to say about that fifty dollars? That's
• 24:52
Speaker 1: that's got to be some kind of mistakes. And what'd
• 24:54
Speaker 1: you say your name was, sir? My name is Gavin.
• 24:56
Speaker 1: I work here at Diamonds. I'm the head jeweler here.
• 24:58
Speaker 1: I've been here for twenty years. And there's there's no
• 25:02
Speaker 1: way that that ring is worth fifty dollars. I know
• 25:04
Speaker 1: what I paid for it, So obviously there's some sort
• 25:06
Speaker 1: of mistakes. There's not a mistake. I've been dealing with jury,
• 25:10
Speaker 1: I've seen it. I couldn't pretty much look at a ring,
• 25:13
Speaker 1: but I actually went into detail on this one. As
• 25:15
Speaker 1: I do all of them, and so I promise you
• 25:18
Speaker 1: this is probably maybe between forty and fifty dollars for
• 25:21
Speaker 1: his workers. Know, absolutely not. That's that's impossible. How is
• 25:25
Speaker 1: that impossible? He's a jeweler. You heard him say, he's
• 25:27
Speaker 1: been doing it for twenty he's the highest. That impossible.
• 25:30
Speaker 1: I don't understand. That's all the money that my dad
• 25:33
Speaker 1: is putting down on this wedding, and you don't pay
• 25:35
Speaker 1: fifty dollars. You bought a cheap ring. So no, no, no,
• 25:39
Speaker 1: I did not buy a team. This is this is
• 25:41
Speaker 1: this is obviously some kind of mistake. You didn't got it.
• 25:44
Speaker 1: You got that right, you show got that right. So
• 25:47
Speaker 1: what you got to say for yourself fifty dollars? Then
• 25:50
Speaker 1: you can't I believe that that's right, that this is
• 25:52
Speaker 1: obviously some kind of mistair. Oh, it is a mistake.
• 25:55
Speaker 1: I'm mistaken me thinking I'm gonna get married to the
• 25:57
Speaker 1: man of my dream. I do have the engage a
• 26:00
Speaker 1: ring that was purchased and bought for your wife. No,
• 26:03
  Speaker 1: I don't think you. I don't think you do. I
• 26:04
Speaker 1: don't think you have my ring because if you have
• 26:06
Speaker 1: my ring, you wouldn't be telling me this is worth
• 26:07
Speaker 1: fifty dollars. I have the ring that your wife, your
• 26:11
Speaker 1: fiance brought in his wife. Yet, hold on, hold on.
• 26:14
Speaker 1: The man is trying to explain. I'm trying to get
• 26:16
Speaker 1: to the body. Thank you. So you have I don't
• 26:19
Speaker 1: think he has the right ring. I have the right ring.
• 26:22
Speaker 1: And what I'm letting you know, sir, is that this
• 26:24
Speaker 1: is something you buy on an infomercial in two ocock. Dude,
• 26:28
  Speaker 1: you don't like that. I ain't bout a damn ring
• 26:32
Speaker 1: on infomercial. I bought the ring from a reputable establishment.
• 26:35
Speaker 1: I have the receipt, I have the certificate. So obviously
• 26:39
Speaker 1: the mistake is on your and where you're mistake is
• 26:41
Speaker 1: now here. So you bought a piece of jump. He's
• 26:44
Speaker 1: been doing it all these years. How hill he's gonna
• 26:46
Speaker 1: make a mistake. You come off telling me I bought
• 26:49
Speaker 1: a piece of jump. I know what I bought. If
• 26:51
Speaker 1: there's any mistake that's been made, it's on your end, world,
• 26:54
Speaker 1: it's not on my end. Yeah, don't you want things that?
• 27:01
Speaker 1: My dad is paying too much money for this wedding,
• 27:03
Speaker 1: So you're don's gonna pay fifty dollars dollars. I tell
• 27:06
Speaker 1: him this chill. Hold on. First of all, I don't
• 27:09
Speaker 1: appreciate I want to tell you this. This is a
• 27:11
Speaker 1: typical case of you trying to pawn it off for
• 27:14
Speaker 1: us because you bought the price of stuff for fifty bucks.
• 27:16
Speaker 1: I'm the money. Did you do it? I get fifty
• 27:19
Speaker 1: dollars worth of a ring? Then he's hold on, let
• 27:21
Speaker 1: me talk to this. Where you going and get dollars?
• 27:25
Speaker 1: I never heard of it. So your wife knows exactly where.
• 27:29
Speaker 1: She's the one that brought the ring. And I'll tell
• 27:30
Speaker 1: you what. I'm gonna come down there to see the
• 27:33
Speaker 1: ring that you're talking about. If it's not the ring
• 27:35
Speaker 1: that I gave my girl, I'm gonna take seventy six
• 27:37
Speaker 1: hundred dollars out of your because that's so. Now you
• 27:42
Speaker 1: want to jump on me because you bought your wife
• 27:44
Speaker 1: a piece, Come on, you want to put it on me?
• 27:47
Speaker 1: You you don't tell me what the I don't know
• 27:49
Speaker 1: what the I spin on the ring and you I
• 27:51
Speaker 1: don't kind of trying to pull. First of all, I
• 27:53
Speaker 1: don't appreciate you coming in my household trying to mess
• 27:55
Speaker 1: my and you want to come at me with this one.
• 27:57
Speaker 1: I know the ring gotta be real no. If I
• 28:00
Speaker 1: were you, miss de niece, I would not marry somebody
• 28:03
Speaker 1: that's gonna be I'm coming. I'm looking for your puppet.
• 28:06
Speaker 1: And you know what, you don't get the ring a right, man,
• 28:09
Speaker 1: you don't go in it. Can I say one more
• 28:10
Speaker 1: thing to both of you all? But I'll tell you
• 28:12
Speaker 1: what if they did, I want to hear me, and
• 28:14
Speaker 1: you're gonna have some more problems. This is nephew telling
• 28:16
Speaker 1: me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Y'all just got
• 28:20
Speaker 1: pranked by the niece's sister that that's why she ain't
• 28:28
Speaker 1: got no man to be. Wow. That's how I man. Wow,
• 28:34
Speaker 1: that's how clear time? Are you about to start me? Wow?
• 28:38
  Speaker 1: I think I'm sorry, baby, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I
• 28:41
Speaker 1: would make its ring. I gotta ask y'all something. What
• 28:47
Speaker 1: is the baddest radio show in the Wow? But Steve
• 28:51
Speaker 1: Harvey The Morning Think Nephew coming up in the top
• 29:02
Speaker 1: of the hour Entertainment and national news right after this.
• 29:06
Speaker 1: You're listening to show? All right? So did you guys
• 29:12
Speaker 1: know that lamar Odom dated Taraji p Henson at one time.
• 29:17
Speaker 1: He's actually opening up about their relationship and how it
• 29:21
Speaker 1: ended on TV Ones uncensored. Apparently, Lamar and Taraji were
• 29:26
Speaker 1: hot and heavy sometime between two thousand and nine. Somewhere
• 29:30
Speaker 1: before two thousand and nine, I should say, Lamar said
• 29:33
Speaker 1: dating Taraji was the most adult relationship he's ever had.
• 29:38
Speaker 1: Take a listen else. That was the most significant relationship
• 29:47
Speaker 1: as a grown up that I had with a black woman.
• 29:51
Speaker 1: I used to carry a pitch on a roll with me.
• 29:54
Speaker 1: I don't nobody know that seven due that play with me.
• 29:58
Speaker 1: But she gave inspiration, you know what I'm saying. A
• 30:01
Speaker 1: black woman broken like that, that's just as good as
• 30:05
Speaker 1: her craft, and I'm at my craft. Wow, who the
• 30:16
Speaker 1: hell is deep out? Piano music went nicely with that, Jake.
• 30:27
Speaker 1: It was a great pairing by you, Dady. We don't
• 30:30
Speaker 1: know about kid. The piano music and all that was
• 30:35
Speaker 1: a nice touch. But Taraji somewhere is right now hearing this.
• 30:42
Speaker 1: Such a nice compliment, beautiful compliment he paid her. She's
• 30:47
Speaker 1: engaged in everything, right, Sorry, dog, you say the time
• 30:51
Speaker 1: for that? Well? Unfortunately the rest did badly because Lamar
• 30:59
Speaker 1: was an immature or a punk. According to him, I
• 31:02
Speaker 1: didn't know how to tell her that I was falling
• 31:04
Speaker 1: in love with another woman named Chloe Kardashiane, how the
• 31:09
Speaker 1: story see so right here, right here, see now everybody
• 31:16
Speaker 1: was trying to feel something for you. Then here you come. You.
• 31:20
Speaker 1: This ain't the thing to say, not on our girl
• 31:23
  Speaker 1: to Raji, Well it's uncensored. It's a show. So he's
• 31:27
Speaker 1: talking about his life and that should have been quiet.
• 31:33
Speaker 1: Tommy had not been answered. Come on playing the piano, Jail,
• 31:42
Speaker 1: You want me to tell you who playing? Yes, yes, Tommy,
• 31:45
Speaker 1: who's playing the piano? Man Tank is playing the piano? Tommy,
• 31:57
Speaker 1: good boy, good right there. Man ain't gonna another way.
• 32:07
Speaker 1: When he finished, he said, all right, we're moving on.
• 32:14
Speaker 1: And other entertainees and other entertainment news. R Kelly lost
• 32:19
Speaker 1: another lawyer this week because he can't or won't pay
• 32:23
Speaker 1: the bill. He's currently locked up waiting trial waiting trial
• 32:28
Speaker 1: for child sex abuse and trafficking and multiple jurisdictions, but
• 32:31
Speaker 1: he also has an unpaid twelve thousand dollars bill from
• 32:34
Speaker 1: his divorce attorney. Lisa Demiko no longer represents for R.
• 32:38
Speaker 1: Kelly and wants a judge to force him to pay up.
• 32:41
Speaker 1: There you go, when when your lawyer then turned on
• 32:46
Speaker 1: you to create another case, do you squeezed your life
• 32:50
Speaker 1: is when your lawyer, super boy, it's all take the
• 32:57
Speaker 1: d take the day, whatever the all right, we gotta
• 33:11
Speaker 1: cut of this tea. Thank you very much, and good
• 33:20
Speaker 1: morning everybody. This is ANDERP with the news. Well let's
• 33:23
Speaker 1: start out with this one. Very important funeral services are
• 33:25
Speaker 1: taking place in a Baltimore, Maryland church this morning for
• 33:28
Speaker 1: Representative Elijah Cummings, who passed away last week after undergoing
• 33:32
Speaker 1: a medical procedure. He was sixty eight years old. Cummings
• 33:34
Speaker 1: body was brought to the nation's capital yesterday, where he
• 33:37
Speaker 1: lay in state all day, becoming the first African American
• 33:41
Speaker 1: lawmaker to be so honored. However, two other black Americans
• 33:44
Speaker 1: were honored, civil rights icon Rosel Parks, DC police officer
• 33:48
Speaker 1: James Chesnut, who was killed in a Capitol Who'll shoot out.
• 33:50
Speaker 1: They were honored with their bodies laying in state what
• 33:53
Speaker 1: they call it laying in honor, the term used for
• 33:55
Speaker 1: non elected officials anyway. And yesterday's moroyal service at the
• 33:58
Speaker 1: Capitol many of Congressman Cummings fellow legislators like Senate Minority
• 34:02
Speaker 1: Leader Charles Schumer, pay tribute. He was strong, very strong
• 34:06
Speaker 1: when necessary, but also kind and caring and honorable, universally
• 34:13
Speaker 1: respected and admired in a divided time. His voice could
• 34:17
Speaker 1: shake mountains, stir the most cynical hearts, inspiring us all
• 34:23
Speaker 1: to be better. His authority came not from the office
• 34:26
Speaker 1: he held. It came from the moral force of his life.
• 34:31
Speaker 1: A sharecropper's son born and raised in Baltimore, Elijah Cummings
• 34:36
Speaker 1: never forgot where he came from and never lost sight
• 34:39
Speaker 1: of where he wanted his country to go. During today's
• 34:44
Speaker 1: homegoing service, both the former presidents Barack Obama and Bill
• 34:47
Speaker 1: Clinton are schedule to speak, among others and Lewis Flowers.
• 34:50
Speaker 1: The Cummings family asked that people make donations through the
• 34:53
Speaker 1: Elijah Cummings Youth Program or to Howard or Morgan State
• 34:57
Speaker 1: Universities in Texas. Yesterday, hundreds of mourners gathered for the
• 35:00
Speaker 1: funeral of twenty eight year old eight Titiana Jefferson. That's
• 35:03
Speaker 1: the black pre med student shot and killed by a
• 35:05
Speaker 1: white cop and she played with her eight year old
• 35:07
Speaker 1: nephew in her own home. Meanwhile, in Dallas, the white
• 35:10
Speaker 1: now former cop who shot and killed an innocent black
• 35:13
Speaker 1: man named Botham Jane in his own apartment is trying
• 35:16
Speaker 1: to appeal her murder conviction. Lawyers for Amber Geiger, who
• 35:19
Speaker 1: may can the community feel, already received a super light
• 35:22
Speaker 1: sentence of only ten years for botham Jean's killing. Her
• 35:25
Speaker 1: lawyers have filed the notice of appeal this week. Dallas
• 35:28
Speaker 1: police have identified two people and connect with the murder
• 35:30
Speaker 1: of former NBA player andre Emmett inside his home last month.
• 35:34
Speaker 1: Authorities say twenty nine year old Michael Lucky thirty to
• 35:36
Speaker 1: year old Keith Johnson responsible for fatally shooting the professional athlete.
• 35:40
Speaker 1: Lucky turned himself and Johnson was already in jail on
• 35:43
Speaker 1: another charge or something. Andre Emmett played for both the
• 35:46
Speaker 1: Brooklyn Nets and the Memphis Grizzlies. Trump administration out with
• 35:49
Speaker 1: a plan to collect DNA from migrants crossing the border.
• 35:52
Speaker 1: In fact, that Justice Apartment wants to begin taking DNA
• 35:55
Speaker 1: samples from hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants. And today,
• 35:58
Speaker 1: as national Frankenstein Friday, to show you're listening to Steve
• 36:11
Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve J. Anthony Brown, who
• 36:15
Speaker 1: you've asked to be ignorant today, is here with phrases
• 36:19
Speaker 1: that will break up a friendship. Basically, these are roommate rules.
• 36:24
Speaker 1: I mean, you got on your own. You might have
• 36:26
Speaker 1: to get a roommate to branch out. But there's some
• 36:28
Speaker 1: rules you should live by if you get a roommate.
• 36:32
Speaker 1: First rule, if you don't put it in the fridge,
• 36:35
Speaker 1: damn it, don't take it out to the fridge. How
• 36:37
Speaker 1: about that? Yeah, at work, the same thing, same thing.
• 36:46
Speaker 1: You and your significant others should not haug the living room.
• 36:50
Speaker 1: Take that nasty stuff to your bedroom. Okay, all right,
• 36:53
Speaker 1: people live here, yea, other people live here too, all right,
• 36:58
Speaker 1: don't go in your room made room for a damn thing. Okay,
• 37:04
Speaker 1: why are you in here? What you're doing in here?
• 37:07
Speaker 1: Ain't nothing here for you. If your girlfriend or your
• 37:10
Speaker 1: boyfriend like eggs, bacon, cheese, alcohol or whatever cereal, make
• 37:16
Speaker 1: sure they bring it with their ass when they come over. Okay.
• 37:23
Speaker 1: If if that's what they like, ain't room. Make sure
• 37:27
Speaker 1: make sure they got that in the bag when they
• 37:29
Speaker 1: come in the door. Okay, that's all I'm saying. If
• 37:32
Speaker 1: your boyfriend for the lads, if your boyfriend man man
• 37:35
Speaker 1: likes to play video games, you need a big screen
• 37:38
Speaker 1: TV for his ass in your room. Okay, But this
• 37:45
Speaker 1: is this is a good rule. Right here, we all
• 37:47
Speaker 1: should to buy body. Nobody who is a roommate is
• 37:51
Speaker 1: allowed to date anybody that's been to prison, nobody. You
• 38:00
Speaker 1: gotta make sure you hold in your room, you know
• 38:03
Speaker 1: you can. You gotta watch, you gotta check all your
• 38:06
Speaker 1: stuff off because he no, we can't. All right, if
• 38:10
Speaker 1: you got a Christian roommate and you're not a Christian,
• 38:13
Speaker 1: let me tell you christian something. Who whoever sleeps with,
• 38:17
Speaker 1: who who ever sleeps within, dan't your damn benness. Okay,
• 38:24
Speaker 1: the last one. If the rent is due on the
• 38:29
Speaker 1: foast the foe, we agreed that they paid the rent.
• 38:33
Speaker 1: We don't want to rent on the second, third, four, fifth, six, seven, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleven, twelve, thirteenth, fourteen, fifteenth, sixteen, seventeen, eighteenth, nineteen, twenty,
• 38:46
Speaker 1: twenty one, twenty two, twenty three, six, twenty seven, twenty eight,
• 38:54
Speaker 1: twenty nine, thirty we wanted on the foight. Okay, okay,
• 39:00
Speaker 1: all right, thank you ja. Those roommate rules coming up
• 39:05
Speaker 1: in thirty four after the hour. Unbelievable. This story right here, guys,
• 39:10
Speaker 1: the officer who was fired for the choke and whole
• 39:12
Speaker 1: death of Eric Garner. Well now he's suing the NYPD
• 39:17
Speaker 1: to get his job back. All Right, we'll tell you
• 39:20
Speaker 1: about that right after this you're listening to. All Right,
• 39:26
Speaker 1: So Daniel Pantaleo, the officer who was fired back in
• 39:30
Speaker 1: twenty fourteen in the chokehole death of Eric Garner, Well,
• 39:35
Speaker 1: check this out. He's now suing the New York Police
• 39:38
Speaker 1: Department and the Police Police Commissioner to be reinstated to
• 39:43
Speaker 1: get his old job back. We all saw that horrific
• 39:46
Speaker 1: video of the confrontation between mister Garner, a black man,
• 39:49
Speaker 1: and the officers trying to arrest him for selling untaxed cigarette.
• 39:55
Speaker 1: It drew outrage as well it should have. Mister Garner's
• 39:59
Speaker 1: dying words, I can't breathe remember that. Um. Reverend Al
• 40:03
Speaker 1: Sharpton of the National Action Network released a statement saying
• 40:07
Speaker 1: Pantalio's decision to seek his reinstatement is not only disrespectful
• 40:11
Speaker 1: to the Police Commissioner and the NYPD, but also the
• 40:15
Speaker 1: Gardner family. Uh Now, according to Pantalio's lawyer, Pantalio never
• 40:20
Speaker 1: put any pressure on Gardner's neck and that he likely
• 40:23
Speaker 1: died from either a lung or heart condition. No no,
• 40:30
Speaker 1: no autopsy told us what he died from. Yeah, Frank, yes, yeah, yeah,
• 40:39
Speaker 1: and we all saw it with our very own eyes.
• 40:41
Speaker 1: How about that Hinckley, the dude the shot Ronald Reagan.
• 40:49
Speaker 1: He can't go to the White House no more. Yeah, oj,
• 40:58
Speaker 1: your ass can't be a police officer, no mo right.
• 41:02
Speaker 1: The grand jury didn't indict him, but he did. The
• 41:06
Speaker 1: ruling was he did lose his job, and the Garner
• 41:09
Speaker 1: family won a civil lawsuit, you know, against the city.
• 41:13
Speaker 1: And we just saw Miss Eric Garner's mother, she was
• 41:16
Speaker 1: with us. There's no way you get to go back
• 41:24
Speaker 1: to this profession who would hire him? But and you're right,
• 41:31
Speaker 1: this is so disrespectful man, right, This is when you
• 41:37
Speaker 1: really don't understand the value of life, or so you
• 41:41
Speaker 1: think that you can kill this black man, get fired,
• 41:45
Speaker 1: and then sued him for firing. You What all I
• 41:48
Speaker 1: did was kill a black dude. Why I can't go
• 41:51
Speaker 1: back to work exactly? That's are you serious? Man? By him?
• 41:57
Speaker 1: And even they shouldn't even entertain this case. This is nothing.
• 42:04
Speaker 1: As soon as they filed a paperwork, they should throw it. Well,
• 42:08
Speaker 1: they filed it, they should throw this out. See, you
• 42:11
Speaker 1: could come to court for some dumb ass reasons, man,
• 42:14
Speaker 1: and this right here is appalling. Yeah, it really is
• 42:18
Speaker 1: total disregard for this man's life, for his family. You
• 42:23
Speaker 1: think that all you did was kill a black man,
• 42:26
Speaker 1: so you should be able to continue your job. Your
• 42:29
Speaker 1: ass really supposed to be in prison. You're supposed to
• 42:32
Speaker 1: be right over there with Amber Geiger doing some damn tap.
• 42:35
Speaker 1: It's what you supposed to be doing, right, sir. Interesting
• 42:38
Speaker 1: that you bring up Amber Geiger, Steve and other news
• 42:41
Speaker 1: out of Dallas, Texas former police officer Amber Geiger, who
• 42:46
Speaker 1: of course, was convicted of killing both them John and
• 42:49
Speaker 1: his apartment. While her lawyers have filed for paperwork to
• 42:53
Speaker 1: appeal her murder conviction. Geiger, of course, is serving her
• 42:57
Speaker 1: ten year sentence in Mountain View Prison and Bill, Texas.
• 43:01
Speaker 1: She is eligible for parole in twenty twenty four. So
• 43:04
Speaker 1: here we go. You can, you you can, you can
• 43:10
Speaker 1: appeal your conviction. You date, nobody's doing that. You go
• 43:15
Speaker 1: back to any court system. You're not gonna get that
• 43:18
Speaker 1: one overturned. Sorry, well, I hope you're right. Yeah, I mean,
• 43:22
Speaker 1: stranger things have happened. This is unbelievable, man. Listen, Really,
• 43:28
Speaker 1: Daniel Pantaleo trying to sue the New York Police Department
• 43:31
Speaker 1: and the police commissioner. That's crazy too. The audacity job
• 43:37
Speaker 1: and good. So you can have a weapon, so you
• 43:41
Speaker 1: could kill somebody else. Come on, man, now you've already
• 43:45
Speaker 1: proved that you would choke a person. Yeah, yeah, it
• 43:48
Speaker 1: would takes very little for you to shoot a person.
• 43:51
Speaker 1: And I don't see how any police officer we want
• 43:54
Speaker 1: to work side by side with somebody like that, knowing
• 43:57
Speaker 1: what he's done, because man, for the good offers that
• 44:00
Speaker 1: are out there to serve and protect, who do go
• 44:03
Speaker 1: to work trying to do the right thing? Why would
• 44:05
Speaker 1: you want to be sitting in a squad call with
• 44:07
Speaker 1: this this butthole y man, miss me? All right, coming
• 44:12
Speaker 1: up next, Steve, we're gonna switch gears here, Nephew Tommy
• 44:14
Speaker 1: in the building with today's prank phone call. We'll do
• 44:17
Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening to show coming up
• 44:22
Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes after.
• 44:25
Speaker 1: It's today's strawberry letter. Uh my subject today is saved
• 44:29
Speaker 1: by the finger. Wait till you hear this letter. Yeah,
• 44:33
Speaker 1: right now, though, nephew in the building with today's prying
• 44:35
Speaker 1: phone call. The letter is crazy. You do not want
• 44:38
Speaker 1: to miss it, and you don't want to miss this prank, right, nephew,
• 44:41
Speaker 1: But you get your son and my daughter? WHOA what
• 44:46
Speaker 1: about him? Yo? Son and my daughter? Is he preaching this? No?
• 44:55
Speaker 1: Son and my daughter? I don't even know it, frank
• 45:00
Speaker 1: about this. It's about your son and your daughter or
• 45:04
Speaker 1: a pick a tone that you want us to have
• 45:07
Speaker 1: ignorant your son and my daughter? Your son and my daughter?
• 45:13
Speaker 1: Here we go. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Darren's

• 45:34
Speaker 1: the word I got a few minutes ago, was that
• 45:36
Speaker 1: the two of them to run off and then got
• 45:39
Speaker 1: married together. I don't know what what what what make

• 45:53
Speaker 1: grew up with it? When to grew up with an auto?
• 45:56
Speaker 1: Grade school? She called it? Said Lashonda and Darren then
• 46:00
Speaker 1: ran off and got married together, and didn't say that
• 46:04
Speaker 1: done yesterday. But wait, my father ain't my friend. Ain't
• 46:10
Speaker 1: I talked to him U three days ago in here.

Speaker 1: to do something crazy. Okay, let me tell you something.
• 48:29
Speaker 1: Your son didn't curse my baby girl and be getting
• 48:32
Speaker 1: married and he didn't gotta bring it. I know what's

• 53:58
Speaker 1: for you today, Jay, buckle up, hold on tight. We
• 54:01
Speaker 1: got it for you here. It is Berry Letter, all right,
• 54:05
Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew Saved by the Finger. Dear Stephen Shirley,
• 54:10
Speaker 1: I attend a prominent mega church and I'm very active
• 54:14
Speaker 1: in my church. The church threw a back to school
• 54:17
Speaker 1: bash for the children at the church and we had
• 54:19
Speaker 1: a pool party in our indoor pool. I volunteered to
• 54:22
Speaker 1: help her on the pool and watch the smaller kids. Shirley,
• 54:26
Speaker 1: I have been losing weight for the last year and
• 54:29
Speaker 1: I wanted to show off my body in my swimsuit,
• 54:33
Speaker 1: but with a nice cover up on over my swimsuit.
• 54:36
Speaker 1: My husband told me I was going too far by
• 54:39
Speaker 1: wearing it to the church event, but I wasn't showing
• 54:42
Speaker 1: any body parts. I went to the party and it
• 54:45
Speaker 1: was going good until some of the kids started horse
• 54:48
Speaker 1: playing and I went over to stop them. One of
• 54:51
Speaker 1: the boys was so wild he pushed me in the
• 54:55
Speaker 1: pool by mistake. So there I was wig and all
• 54:59
Speaker 1: in the pool and flailing around to get out. One
• 55:03
Speaker 1: of the deacons of the church jumped in and tried
• 55:06
Speaker 1: to rescue me, so I was holding onto him for
• 55:09
Speaker 1: dear life. I ended up slipping out of his grip
• 55:12
Speaker 1: and he reached down with one hand and cupped my butt.
• 55:19
Speaker 1: When he did. When he did, one of his fingers
• 55:26
Speaker 1: slid into my butt. What man, I mean in my butt?
• 55:36
Speaker 1: So here I am in the pool, traumatized, and I
• 55:40
Speaker 1: don't think the deacon knew what he had just done.
• 55:43
Speaker 1: It happened so fast. I started yelling and other men
• 55:47
Speaker 1: came over and pulled me out. My cover up was
• 55:50
Speaker 1: all tangled up, so everyone saw my bikini, and that
• 55:53
Speaker 1: made me even more ashamed. I should have listened to
• 55:56
Speaker 1: my hobby and chose another job to volunteer for back
• 56:00
Speaker 1: to school bash. I got out of the pool and
• 56:03
Speaker 1: wrapped up in a towel, but I couldn't sit down.
• 56:06
Speaker 1: The pain was still there. I need to tell my
• 56:10
Speaker 1: husband what happened, but I don't know how. I wonder
• 56:13
Speaker 1: if the deacon figured out what he did. Maybe I
• 56:16
Speaker 1: should just take this secret to my grave. Please advise,
• 56:20
Speaker 1: please take this to your grave. All right, in the
• 56:23
Speaker 1: words of my late mother, Helen Clark, you cannot tell everything. Okay,
• 56:30
Speaker 1: this was an accident. It was an accident. None of
• 56:34
Speaker 1: this meant to go down, Okay, was meant to go down.
• 56:37
Speaker 1: Once your husband finds out what the deacon did, he's
• 56:40
Speaker 1: probably gonna want to put hands on the deacon. So please,
• 56:43
Speaker 1: you're gonna start a big old thing if you If
• 56:46
Speaker 1: you do this, if the deacon doesn't remember, just act
• 56:48
Speaker 1: like it didn't happen. I gotta tell you, congratulations on
• 56:52
Speaker 1: your weight loss. I know you were probably feeling yourself,
• 56:55
Speaker 1: you know, and and looking good and you know, and
• 56:58
Speaker 1: just feeling confident in all that because of the weight loss.
• 57:01
Speaker 1: Right now, but because this was a church affair, I
• 57:05
Speaker 1: have to say I agree with your husband. I think
• 57:07
Speaker 1: you should have listened to him and not warned that
• 57:09
Speaker 1: bikini there, and you know, maybe you could have avoided
• 57:12
Speaker 1: this little situation you found yourself in. No one would
• 57:16
Speaker 1: have known, you know, if you no one knows anyway,
• 57:20
Speaker 1: but they didn't know, you know, they wouldn't have seen
• 57:22
Speaker 1: you in this bikini, and you wouldn't have been ashamed,
• 57:25
Speaker 1: and it wouldn't have ended up like this. But now
• 57:28
Speaker 1: here you're feeling guilty for no reason. You don't have
• 57:31
Speaker 1: to feel like that. Okay, take this secret to your
• 57:34
Speaker 1: grave and go on with your life. Please just stay
• 57:38
Speaker 1: away from that deacon. Don't look him in the eye
• 57:41
Speaker 1: when you see him. Steve, Oh, well here we go.
• 57:48
Speaker 1: You better make me proudly. You better listen close to
• 57:55
Speaker 1: this megachurch. That means be a lot of people, and
• 57:59
Speaker 1: you very reactive in your church. Well not any more
• 58:06
Speaker 1: hard to be active when you sow. So let's just
• 58:11
Speaker 1: get to this. The church threw a back to school
• 58:15
Speaker 1: bass for the children at the church and they had
• 58:20
Speaker 1: a pool party. You volunteered to watch him at the
• 58:24
Speaker 1: pool party, but for a very devilish reason. See, you've
• 58:30
Speaker 1: been losing wait the last year, and you wanted to
• 58:32
Speaker 1: show off your body in the swim suit. You went
• 58:38
Speaker 1: down now with the intent to show everybody your ass.
• 58:45
Speaker 1: That's what you went down there, fault. Come on, now,
• 58:50
Speaker 1: I had nice cover up on my swim suit, but
• 58:54
Speaker 1: your husband told you you was going too far when
• 58:58
Speaker 1: the bikini to the church event. But I wasn't showing
• 59:04
Speaker 1: anybody parts. What you go down there? Fall into bikinni.
• 59:09
Speaker 1: A bikinny is two pieces, shoulders is out, some of
• 59:14
Speaker 1: your breast is out, all your mid section is out,
• 59:17
Speaker 1: and your booty out. Very important information here, booty is out.
• 59:26
Speaker 1: This is critical. So I went to the party and
• 59:31
Speaker 1: it was going good to some of the kids started
• 59:33
Speaker 1: horse playing. You went over to stop him. One of
• 59:35
Speaker 1: the bars was so wild he pushed you in the
• 59:38
Speaker 1: pool by mistake. That what you think? So there I
• 59:42
Speaker 1: was wig it all in the pool, flailing around to
• 59:46
Speaker 1: get out. Why is you flailing around to get out
• 59:50
Speaker 1: the pool? Why is you watching kids and your ass
• 59:55
Speaker 1: can't swim at the pool because the purpose wasn't to
• 1:00:00
Speaker 1: watch the kids. It was sold everybody else could watch you.
• 1:00:07
Speaker 1: You to jump your ass out there. Nah, God don't
• 1:00:11
Speaker 1: like showing out. So the punishment is you and you
• 1:00:15
Speaker 1: win as wig is not in the water. When I
• 1:00:18
Speaker 1: come back, I'm tell you what really happened. Yeah. Part
• 1:00:22
Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three after
• 1:00:25
Speaker 1: the hour, subject Saved by the Finger. We'll be back
• 1:00:29
Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve, Come on,
• 1:00:35
Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject Saved by the Finger.
• 1:00:39
Speaker 1: Part The uppity woman down at the church, Big church
• 1:00:42
Speaker 1: wants to watch the kids at the food party. She'd
• 1:00:45
Speaker 1: been losing wait for years, so she wanted to ask,
• 1:00:47
Speaker 1: she said in her letter, show off her body. So
• 1:00:50
Speaker 1: what she do at the church event. She put on
• 1:00:52
Speaker 1: the babe to suit, the shows off the most body
• 1:00:54
Speaker 1: the damn but kinney. Her husband told her not to wear.
• 1:00:57
Speaker 1: After the church event, she said, but I won't be
• 1:01:00
Speaker 1: showing any body parts because I'm wearing a wrap cover up.
• 1:01:04
Speaker 1: Well have fuck you? Went down at the show off
• 1:01:08
Speaker 1: one of the boys that the pool got wild and
• 1:01:11
Speaker 1: pushed you in the pool by mistake, that's what you
• 1:01:13
Speaker 1: think his ass wanted to see you? Whet the boy
• 1:01:16
Speaker 1: pushed you in now on purpose? Oh really? Oh hell yeah?
• 1:01:20
Speaker 1: And get your fine ass in the water. It's time
• 1:01:23
Speaker 1: for a little where t shirt contest contest. You don't
• 1:01:26
Speaker 1: think they noticed. They got computer, they know what to do.
• 1:01:29
Speaker 1: They didn't push your thicker ass in that water, and
• 1:01:31
Speaker 1: that it's all looking good. You flayed it around to
• 1:01:33
Speaker 1: get out, wig and all, because you know why, because
• 1:01:36
Speaker 1: you know why you're flailing because you can't swim. Why
• 1:01:38
Speaker 1: was your ass volunteering to be the lifeguard and you
• 1:01:41
Speaker 1: ass can't swim. You can't save a damn soul if
• 1:01:43
Speaker 1: they get it lost in the water. But you didn't
• 1:01:45
Speaker 1: took your ass down there to ship walk. Well here,
• 1:01:47
Speaker 1: let me tell you what happened. One of the deacons
• 1:01:49
Speaker 1: at the church jumped in and tried to rescue. So
• 1:01:52
Speaker 1: I was holding on to him for dear life that
• 1:01:55
Speaker 1: he went in there on purpose. He didn't have those
• 1:01:57
Speaker 1: swim shots on. Deacon then full suit everything, Yeah, get
• 1:02:09
Speaker 1: on in the hill. Yeah, he jumps in, I got you.
• 1:02:14
Speaker 1: I ended up slipping out of his grip and he
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: reached down with one hand and cut my butt. That
• 1:02:19
Speaker 1: ain't how you save nobody like they ain't no life
• 1:02:24
Speaker 1: saving school. Do you jump in and grab nobody's ass
• 1:02:28
Speaker 1: to save them? This black dead in to grab your ass.
• 1:02:37
Speaker 1: Ain't have nothing. All this is happening in three feet
• 1:02:42
Speaker 1: of water. Three feet black people ain't got no pool
• 1:02:51
Speaker 1: with no dep in on it. Now he down in
• 1:02:55
Speaker 1: three feet of water, acting like he being health of
• 1:02:58
Speaker 1: with it. Damn suit off. This tie ain't even wet.
• 1:03:03
Speaker 1: Now you ended up slipping out of his grip. He
• 1:03:05
Speaker 1: greached down with one hand and cups your butt. Wow,
• 1:03:09
Speaker 1: the idea is to get your head out the water,
• 1:03:12
Speaker 1: knock your hand. So now he hadn't grabbed your home.
• 1:03:16
Speaker 1: But when he did, one of his fingers slid into
• 1:03:21
Speaker 1: my button, I mean in it, Dad off up in
• 1:03:26
Speaker 1: my booty. So here I am in the pool, traumatized
• 1:03:33
Speaker 1: as you should be. Got this bad, and you know,
• 1:03:37
Speaker 1: and this big deacon breaks, Big deacon break. This is
• 1:03:42
Speaker 1: why you're traumatized. One of them kids finger had it
• 1:03:45
Speaker 1: got caught up in that wouldn't have been that bad.
• 1:03:47
Speaker 1: But big ass deacon breaks. This was a whole another experience.
• 1:03:53
  Speaker 1: That's why you're traumatized. I don't think that Dickon Deacon
• 1:03:57
Speaker 1: knew what had just happened. What you don't know why
• 1:04:01
Speaker 1: you don't think he happened. How he don't know his
• 1:04:07
Speaker 1: finger has slipped in your button. Let me help you understand.
• 1:04:10
Speaker 1: Something like that is a temperature change from pool water
• 1:04:16
Speaker 1: to foody water. Pool water and booted water is two different.
• 1:04:22
Speaker 1: Damn temperature one when you're in the pool. Pools is cool.
• 1:04:28
Speaker 1: They don't have heated pools in public et. This is
• 1:04:32
Speaker 1: cool water. When he cuts your butt and pushed his finger,
• 1:04:39
Speaker 1: felt a temperature change. It happened so fast. I started yelling.
• 1:04:44
Speaker 1: I've never had that happen. But I probably hollow too.
• 1:04:49
Speaker 1: I hollowed at my last prostate example, and I wasn't
• 1:04:53
Speaker 1: even in the pool. So now you holly. Some other
• 1:04:59
Speaker 1: men came over, pulled me out. My cover up was
• 1:05:01
Speaker 1: tangling up. Everybody saw my bikini. Ain't that what you want? Huh?
• 1:05:06
Speaker 1: Ain't that why you wore it? Because you wanted to
• 1:05:08
Speaker 1: show off your body. Now God, see, God grants our wishes,
• 1:05:13
Speaker 1: He just don't tell us how he gonna do it.
• 1:05:15
Speaker 1: So the Lord said that what you want this high
• 1:05:19
Speaker 1: is gonna happen though. Now you got to wrap wrapped
• 1:05:21
Speaker 1: up all around your neck. You got deacon finger to
• 1:05:24
Speaker 1: slid all up in you. Now you stand up there
• 1:05:26
Speaker 1: with the bikini on, and it made you more a shame.
• 1:05:29
Speaker 1: I shouldn't listened to my husband. You damn right chose
• 1:05:31
Speaker 1: another job, volunteered to back school bad. I go out
• 1:05:34
Speaker 1: the pool wrapped up in a tower, but I couldn't
• 1:05:36
Speaker 1: sit down. The pain was still that. That's called the
• 1:05:38
Speaker 1: big Deacon Banks. I need to tell my husband what happened,
• 1:05:42
Speaker 1: but I don't know how. You know why. You don't
• 1:05:43
Speaker 1: know how, because you're better not to tell him what
• 1:05:46
Speaker 1: you're gonna tell him. Not for I wondered the deacon
• 1:05:49
Speaker 1: figured out what he did? Hell yeah, he church Mouth's quiet.
• 1:05:52
Speaker 1: He know what he did. He dove in there. He
• 1:05:54
Speaker 1: saved you by grabbing your button to get you out
• 1:05:57
Speaker 1: of three feet of water. Maybe I should take my
• 1:06:02
Speaker 1: secret to the grave. You ain't gotta take your secret
• 1:06:07
Speaker 1: to the game. You might just take kept secret down
• 1:06:10
Speaker 1: to the hospital. All right, we gotta roll out, Steve.

Speaker 1: ended on TV one's Uncensored. Apparently, Lamar and Taraji were
• 1:16:40
Speaker 1: hot and heavy sometime between two thousand and nine. Somewhere
• 1:16:44
Speaker 1: before two thousand and nine, I should say, Lamar said
• 1:16:47
Speaker 1: dating Taraji was the most adult relationship he's ever had.
• 1:16:52
Speaker 1: Take a listen what else? That was the most significant
• 1:16:58
Speaker 1: relationship as a thrown up that I had with a
• 1:17:01
Speaker 1: black woman. I used to carry a pitch on the
• 1:17:04
Speaker 1: roll with me. Don't nobody know that, dude that play
• 1:17:10
Speaker 1: with me? But she gave me inspiration. You know what
• 1:17:13
Speaker 1: I'm saying. A black woman broken like that, that's just
• 1:17:16
Speaker 1: as good as her craft, And I'm at my craft.
• 1:17:19
Speaker 1: Who who the hell is deep thoutain? Piano music? Went
• 1:17:36
Speaker 1: nicely with that, Jake. It was a great pairing. Boy,
• 1:17:41
Speaker 1: you dad, We don't know about beautiful compliment he paid her.
• 1:17:45
Speaker 1: She's engaged in everything round. Hey dog, this ain't the
• 1:17:50
Speaker 1: time for that. Well unfortunately, the res did badly because
• 1:17:57
Speaker 1: Lamar was an immature punk. According to him, I didn't
• 1:18:01
Speaker 1: know how to tell her that I was falling in
• 1:18:03
Speaker 1: love with another woman named Chloe Kardashian. See how the
• 1:18:08
Speaker 1: story see so right here right here? See now, everybody
• 1:18:15
Speaker 1: was trying to feel something for you. Then here you come. You.
• 1:18:19
Speaker 1: This ain't the thing to say, not on our girl.
• 1:18:22
  Speaker 1: To Raji, well it's uncensored. It's a show. So he's
• 1:18:26
Speaker 1: talking about his life and exactly that should have been
• 1:18:32
Speaker 1: quiet Tommy has not been answered. Come on playing the piano?
• 1:18:41
Speaker 1: Ja you want me to tell you who playing? Yes, yes,
• 1:18:43
Speaker 1: Tommy who's playing the piano? Man Tank is playing the piano?
• 1:18:55
Speaker 1: God Boy? Right there? Man, I ain't gonna lie to
• 1:19:05
Speaker 1: another way. When he finished, he said, all right, we're
• 1:19:12
Speaker 1: moving on. In Other entertainees and other entertainment news, R
• 1:19:17
Speaker 1: Kelly lost another lawyer this week because he can't or
• 1:19:21
Speaker 1: won't pay the bill. He's currently locked up waiting trial
• 1:19:26
Speaker 1: waiting trial for child sex abuse and trafficking in multiple jurisdictions,
• 1:19:30
Speaker 1: but he also has an unpaid twelve thousand dollars bill
• 1:19:33
Speaker 1: from his divorce attorney, Lisa Demiko no longer represents R
• 1:19:37
Speaker 1: Kelly and wants a judge to force him to pay up.
• 1:19:40
Speaker 1: There you go, all right, coming up our last break
• 1:19:43
Speaker 1: of the day and some closing remarks from the one
• 1:19:46
Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey right after this at forty nine
• 1:19:49
Speaker 1: minutes after the hour you're listening to show. All right,
• 1:19:55
Speaker 1: here we are Steve, last break of the day. It's
• 1:19:57
Speaker 1: been a good day, a good Friday. Up. Yeah, yes,
• 1:20:12
Speaker 1: if the lift bring up the day, which leads us
• 1:20:17
Speaker 1: into Steve's losing remarks. Take it away, Steve. Hey, you know, um,
• 1:20:22
Speaker 1: I want to share something to you all that really
• 1:20:24
Speaker 1: happened to me this year, and um, it was a
• 1:20:27
Speaker 1: game changer for me, and I think this is something
• 1:20:29
Speaker 1: that a lot of people experience. A guy was at
• 1:20:32
Speaker 1: my home doing a procedure today and uh he was said,
• 1:20:36
Speaker 1: mister Harvey, thank you so much. How do you do it?
• 1:20:38
Speaker 1: How do you? And I told him, and so I
• 1:20:40
Speaker 1: want to share it with you. You know, Um, you
• 1:20:44
Speaker 1: know I was almost borderline having high blood pressure right
• 1:20:50
Speaker 1: and that doctor's telling me, you gotta watch it. You
• 1:20:52
Speaker 1: gotta slow down a little bit, you gotta take your time.
• 1:20:55
Speaker 1: You know, you need more time off or something, but
• 1:20:58
Speaker 1: you gotta just stop. Man, you bought it, you don't
• 1:21:01
Speaker 1: have it, but you can be borderline. And we like
• 1:21:05
Speaker 1: to start you on five milligrams. I forgot the stuff
• 1:21:07
Speaker 1: they gave me, but they gave me five milligrams. That's
• 1:21:10
Speaker 1: when I came back to do the check up ninety
• 1:21:12
Speaker 1: days letter. My blood pressure was perfect and the doctor
• 1:21:15
Speaker 1: was saying to me, he said, man, this is great man.
• 1:21:17
Speaker 1: That five milligrams really worked. He said, But I'm looking
• 1:21:20
Speaker 1: at your records, and you didn't call in to get
• 1:21:23
Speaker 1: your refills and one supplies only. We gave you a
• 1:21:27
Speaker 1: one month supply. You should have had two refills. You
• 1:21:30
Speaker 1: didn't call in for the refills. I said, I stopped
• 1:21:33
Speaker 1: taking it. He said, no, no, no, no, your blood
• 1:21:35
Speaker 1: pressure is perfect, mister Harvey. Don't stop taking it because
• 1:21:38
Speaker 1: it's working just fun. I said no, I stopped taking
• 1:21:41
Speaker 1: it after seven days. He said what, he said, your
• 1:21:46
Speaker 1: blood pressure is perfect. What did you do? I said, well,
• 1:21:50
Speaker 1: I did two things. I started watching my diet really closely.
• 1:21:55
Speaker 1: He said that can help. But what else did you do?
• 1:21:58
Speaker 1: I said, I stopped worrying. He said what I said?
• 1:22:02
Speaker 1: I stopped worrying because what had happened y'all was And
• 1:22:07
Speaker 1: I found out that a lot of people suffer from stress.
• 1:22:12
Speaker 1: A lot of people have high CORTERSOL levels, which stop
• 1:22:15
Speaker 1: you from losing weight. A lot of people are high
• 1:22:18
Speaker 1: blood and borderline high high blood. A lot of people
• 1:22:21
Speaker 1: live their life under pressure and anxiety because of a
• 1:22:25
Speaker 1: simple thing called worry. Well, I was reading a scripture
• 1:22:29
Speaker 1: and I'm just gonna paraphrase it. There was a scripture
• 1:22:33
Speaker 1: that I had read that says, by worrying, you cannot
• 1:22:36
Speaker 1: add one hour to your life. And I stopped, and
• 1:22:41
Speaker 1: I thought, by worrying, you cannot add one hour to
• 1:22:46
Speaker 1: your life. Now, if worrying can't even add an hour
• 1:22:50
Speaker 1: to your life, what you're worrying about the rest of
• 1:22:53
Speaker 1: this stuff? For by worrying, you can't increase your time
• 1:22:57
Speaker 1: on earth? Why are you worrying about anything else? And
• 1:23:01
Speaker 1: what happens is we worry so much that we bring
• 1:23:05
Speaker 1: undue pressure on our shoulders that we don't need. Because
• 1:23:08
Speaker 1: the Large Prayer is clear, give us this day our
• 1:23:11
Speaker 1: daily bread. And the reason it doesn't mention the past
• 1:23:14
Speaker 1: in the Lord's Prayer, and it never mentions the future
• 1:23:18
Speaker 1: in the Large Prayer, with the exception of the line
• 1:23:20
Speaker 1: that will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
• 1:23:24
Speaker 1: I mean, that's the closest thing to talking about anything
• 1:23:28
Speaker 1: in terms of time. But what it clearly says is
• 1:23:31
Speaker 1: give us this day our daily bread. And as I
• 1:23:34
Speaker 1: got to study in a little bit further than I
• 1:23:35
Speaker 1: was reading this book, what they're talking about is God
• 1:23:38
Speaker 1: created us as creatures to live in twenty twenty four
• 1:23:42
Speaker 1: hour increments that we are really not designed to handle
• 1:23:46
Speaker 1: what happened in the past, and We're most certainly not
• 1:23:49
Speaker 1: designed to what's going to happen tomorrow. We are designed
• 1:23:52
Speaker 1: for twenty four hour increments. That's why you ask Him
• 1:23:55
Speaker 1: to give us this day our daily bread. And when
• 1:23:58
Speaker 1: you do that each day that you face when you
• 1:24:01
Speaker 1: focus on the right decisions today, worshiping, praising Him today,
• 1:24:05
Speaker 1: thanking him for today, thanking him for what all he's
• 1:24:08
Speaker 1: done for you, and you focus on the decisions, the thoughts,
• 1:24:14
Speaker 1: your visions. Not to say you're not supposed to have
• 1:24:16
Speaker 1: visions and dreams for tomorrow. I'm saying you're not supposed
• 1:24:19
Speaker 1: to worry about tomorrow. So when you focus on the
• 1:24:23
Speaker 1: right things of today, today is plenty. You have enough
• 1:24:26
Speaker 1: decisions to make today. You have enough trials or consequences
• 1:24:29
Speaker 1: I mean or tribulations to get over in the course
• 1:24:33
Speaker 1: of the day. You have enough to do to get
• 1:24:35
Speaker 1: through today. And today is so strong on us as
• 1:24:39
Speaker 1: human beings that God even broke these days up into
• 1:24:42
Speaker 1: two brackets. He gave us day and night so you
• 1:24:46
Speaker 1: can even get a rest from the day by going
• 1:24:49
Speaker 1: to bed. So he gives you day and night so
• 1:24:53
Speaker 1: you can break this very stressful thing up called life
• 1:24:56
Speaker 1: and keeping it to twenty four our increments you would
• 1:24:59
Speaker 1: be suppos rise, and how much better you would feel,
• 1:25:02
Speaker 1: how stress free your life becomes, and how happier you
• 1:25:07
Speaker 1: could become. If you simply would not worry about tomorrow,
• 1:25:11
Speaker 1: you can actually lower your blood pressure by eating right
• 1:25:15
Speaker 1: and by stop worrying about things you can't control. You
• 1:25:18
Speaker 1: can't do nothing about tomorrow. How many times have you
• 1:25:21
Speaker 1: laid a plan out for tomorrow and then you wake
• 1:25:23
Speaker 1: up and something happens and the whole plan go away.
• 1:25:27
Speaker 1: So now what you're worrying about tomorrow, how it's gonna
• 1:25:30
Speaker 1: go when guess what, you don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow.
• 1:25:35
Speaker 1: It could all change for the better, or it can
• 1:25:38
Speaker 1: all change your creative challenge. But if you would stop wary,
• 1:25:42
Speaker 1: if you would ask God to give us this day
• 1:25:44
Speaker 1: our daily bread and get through today. Focus on making
• 1:25:47
Speaker 1: decisions today, Focus on doing the right thing today. Focus
• 1:25:51
Speaker 1: on living the best life you can live today. Enjoy today.
• 1:25:54
Speaker 1: Stop tripping about what happened to you in the past
• 1:25:57
Speaker 1: because you can't change it, And stop tripping about what's
• 1:25:59
Speaker 1: gonna happen to me because you can't do nothing about
• 1:26:01
Speaker 1: it till it get here. If you would just stop worried.
• 1:26:04
Speaker 1: You would feel a whole lot better. Those are my
• 1:26:06
Speaker 1: closing remarks today. Guess what, like I've been saying, have
• 1:26:10
Speaker 1: yourself until weekend, he said. For all Steve Harvey contests,
