Speaker 1: you know to date. I just want to say something. UM.
• 2:52
Speaker 1: I don't think I've ever shared this way before. UM.
• 2:59
Speaker 1: The title is very simple and that is it's been
• 3:06
Speaker 1: worth it to me, you know, I I just I
• 3:12
Speaker 1: just kept thinking that this morning, that it's all been
• 3:16
Speaker 1: worth it to me. And what I mean by that
• 3:20
Speaker 1: is this relationship that I have with my heavenly father,
• 3:26
Speaker 1: it's been worth it to me. I can't even tell
• 3:31
Speaker 1: you the value that it has had in my life.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: I can't tell you how it's helped me to understand
• 3:44
Speaker 1: not only my purpose, but to better understand my past.
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: That's that's that's critical, man, because I'm grateful for that,
• 3:58
Speaker 1: because so many people can't get beyond their past and
• 4:03
Speaker 1: event a set of circumstances, some calamity that they sets them.
• 4:08
Speaker 1: Maybe it's been grief something, but it ties so many
• 4:12
Speaker 1: people up. It's been so worth it to me. It is, man,
• 4:20
Speaker 1: it it's it's been worth having someone to go to
• 4:26
Speaker 1: when no one else was there. Do you do you
• 4:31
Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying. It has. It has given me
• 4:35
Speaker 1: a place to go when no one else has been there. Oh,
• 4:43
Speaker 1: hey man, we're pulling for you. Hey man, hanging there,
• 4:47
Speaker 1: Hey man, keep your head up. All of that. But
• 4:51
Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, man, you get yourself in some
• 4:54
Speaker 1: circumstances and situations in this thing called life when no
• 4:58
Speaker 1: one can help you, but uh, when the only person
• 5:02
Speaker 1: that could possibly understand or know what you're feeling is God.
• 5:07
Speaker 1: The only person that I'll sit there with you through
• 5:10
Speaker 1: it all and understand everything about it has been God.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: It's been worth it to me. Man, It's it's been
• 5:19
Speaker 1: worth it to me. You know. Look, look at the
• 5:22
Speaker 1: moments of ridicule that I go through because of that
• 5:25
Speaker 1: my faith and and me saying it too many times.
• 5:28
Speaker 1: Some you know, people don't want to hear it that
• 5:31
Speaker 1: many times, or he can't talk about nothing else, or
• 5:34
Speaker 1: ain't nobody trying to hear all that? You know, I
• 5:36
Speaker 1: get emails all the time. You know why you think
• 5:39
Speaker 1: you will preach it? It's just people just don't get it.
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: So I can't. I can't. I can't help it. Man.
• 5:43
Speaker 1: I I can't explain myself from my walk to everybody
• 5:47
Speaker 1: that I meet because everybody that I meet ain't gonna
• 5:50
Speaker 1: get it. Why would I stop to explain my walk
• 5:54
Speaker 1: to somebody who ain't even trying to walk? I I
• 5:57
Speaker 1: just I just don't have time. But man, I can
• 6:01
Speaker 1: tell you this flat out as sure as I'm sitting here, y'all,
• 6:05
Speaker 1: it's been worth it to me. It's been the biggest
• 6:10
Speaker 1: improvement in my life. I mean, man, as as I
• 6:14
Speaker 1: look back over my life and forming a strong bond
• 6:19
Speaker 1: with God has been the most beneficial thing to me.
• 6:25
Speaker 1: You know, these things you read in your in your
• 6:28
Speaker 1: your in in writings in the Bible or or whatever
• 6:32
Speaker 1: you're reading. You know, when you when you read scriptures
• 6:34
Speaker 1: and things of that nature. It it's it's been around
• 6:39
Speaker 1: a long time. It holds so much truth to it.
• 6:45
Speaker 1: I mean, man, it's like, how could this have been
• 6:47
Speaker 1: written so long ago and still pertain directly to today?
• 6:56
Speaker 1: I mean that that's amazing. That is amazing to me that.
• 7:01
Speaker 1: I mean, that has to be God at work to
• 7:04
Speaker 1: have written something so complete so dad on point that
• 7:12
Speaker 1: if you read it today, it means exactly what pertains
• 7:19
Speaker 1: to today. That's amazing, man. That That's why my my
• 7:25
Speaker 1: my spiritual walk. It's just worth it to me. And
• 7:29
Speaker 1: I keep saying it's worth it because if you're sitting
• 7:32
Speaker 1: out there and you're tripping like I was tripping, decide
• 7:36
Speaker 1: now let me do. I got a few more things
• 7:38
Speaker 1: I want to do, a couple more girls, I want
• 7:40
Speaker 1: to hol at, couple more things I want to get into.
• 7:42
Speaker 1: I got a couple more deals I want to do.
• 7:44
Speaker 1: I got a little bit more dirt. I want to
• 7:46
Speaker 1: roll up on me a little bit. First. For while, man,
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: I wish I had known. I really really wish I
• 7:52
Speaker 1: had known. I really wish I had understood exactly what
• 7:56
Speaker 1: forming a relationship with God would do for me. But
• 8:01
Speaker 1: what it has meant to me, Man, it's been worth it.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: It's been worth every person who out there who hating
• 8:10
Speaker 1: on me, that don't even know me. It's because I
• 8:14
Speaker 1: have a relationship with him that I'm fine with that,
• 8:17
Speaker 1: or I don't care for it. But it ain't gonna
• 8:20
Speaker 1: stop me though, See, because I know for a fact
• 8:26
Speaker 1: that haters make you greater. I know for a fact
• 8:30
Speaker 1: that haters validate your your mere existence. I know for
• 8:34
Speaker 1: a fact that half of them is out of envy
• 8:38
Speaker 1: and jealousy because of something you're doing that they wish
• 8:42
Speaker 1: they could do or they won't credit for, so they
• 8:46
Speaker 1: just anything all that bam and now you just all
• 8:49
Speaker 1: over the place with people. Man, I'm so grateful for
• 8:54
Speaker 1: this relationship that it has not allowed outside influences that
• 8:59
Speaker 1: do not have my best interests at hard to throw
• 9:03
Speaker 1: me off course it it's it's it's just been worth it, man,
• 9:09
Speaker 1: it it has just been worth it. And if you're
• 9:11
Speaker 1: sitting out there and you're wondering about the benefits of it,
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: I I can't even tell you what it's like to
• 9:20
Speaker 1: know that when bad things are happening to me, the
• 9:23
Speaker 1: calming piece that I feel that I know that that's
• 9:27
Speaker 1: gonna be all right too, That I know that this
• 9:31
Speaker 1: tool shall pass. That I know in my heart of hearts, man,
• 9:36
Speaker 1: that there's got to be a reason for this. And
• 9:38
Speaker 1: if I can just hang on in there, he gonna
• 9:41
Speaker 1: unfold that from me and he gonna let me see it.
• 9:43
Speaker 1: But the number one thing I always know is I'm
• 9:46
Speaker 1: gonna survive this one too. That this tool shall pass. Man.
• 9:51
Speaker 1: It's been worth it to me. It has been worth
• 9:54
Speaker 1: it to me, man, to to to have this thing
• 9:57
Speaker 1: called faith, which is the belief in things that you
• 10:00
Speaker 1: cannot see, and to know, man along the way that, oh,
• 10:04
Speaker 1: my goodness, man, even though I don't know what's next,
• 10:08
Speaker 1: or even I'm not really sure about the next step,
• 10:12
Speaker 1: I do know for a fact that some moe is coming.
• 10:15
Speaker 1: I do know for a fact it is a fact
• 10:19
Speaker 1: that God will take care of me. It is a
• 10:23
Speaker 1: fact that he will never ever leave me or desert
• 10:27
Speaker 1: me if I just stay here where I'm supposed to be.
• 10:31
Speaker 1: He's coming the Calvary's coming over the hill. He coming
• 10:34
Speaker 1: over the hill, and when he come over that hill,
• 10:36
Speaker 1: he's gonna wipe out all this mess down here. That's
• 10:39
Speaker 1: that's trying to hurt me, that that I don't have
• 10:41
Speaker 1: to worry about my enemies anymore. That my enemies that
• 10:46
Speaker 1: are all around you can surround me. You can shoot
• 10:50
Speaker 1: all the arrows you want. That's not to say that
• 10:53
Speaker 1: none of them ain't gonna come close. And I ain't
• 10:56
Speaker 1: gonna say that, you know, I ain't gonna be a
• 10:59
Speaker 1: little under some pressure, a little nervous about being shot
• 11:02
Speaker 1: at so hard. But at the end of the day,
• 11:04
Speaker 1: I noticed for show, ain't none of I'm gonna stick
• 11:07
Speaker 1: in me. You could shoot them, but ain't none of
• 11:09
Speaker 1: them gonna stick in me. No matter what you do,
• 11:14
Speaker 1: no weapon formed to givest me nothing. Now you can't.

• 42:55
  Speaker 1: ain't not ain't not a Damon's child. And he've been
• 42:58
Speaker 1: sitting up here sending you money seven eight hundred dollars
• 43:00
Speaker 1: a month and this child ain't even here. Now I
• 43:03
Speaker 1: hate for Travis to find this out, and he's gonna
• 43:05
Speaker 1: have to find it out, but he ain't for the product.
• 43:09
Speaker 1: Why are you calling me? Look, the family that had
• 43:12
Speaker 1: a meeting, and I'm the one that they decided to
• 43:13
Speaker 1: make the phone call and tell you what's going on now,
• 43:16
Speaker 1: don't you You You don't have a damn thing to
• 43:19
Speaker 1: do with this. You ain't nobody daddy over here. So
• 43:22
Speaker 1: I'm not sure what you're calling for. Who God made
• 43:24
Speaker 1: you key or wanted you to be here in charge
• 43:27
Speaker 1: to call but that it's not gonna work out. But
• 43:29
Speaker 1: let me why Why are you doing this to my brother?
• 43:32
Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. For eight years, the man had
• 43:34
Speaker 1: been sitting you seven hundred seven dollars a month and
• 43:36
Speaker 1: and and this ain't even his child, you know him?
• 43:42
Speaker 1: Why am I even talking to you? I'm not really
• 43:43
Speaker 1: sure your brother need to call me if he has
• 43:45
Speaker 1: any problems with questions. You have a good thing. You
• 43:52
Speaker 1: don't hang no damn phone up on me. Damon told
• 43:54
Speaker 1: me in the last was hard headed. Anyway, Now, look,
• 43:58
Speaker 1: you know what you got the wrong one, baby, Like
• 44:00
Speaker 1: I'm trying to not lose all my religion today, but
• 44:03
Speaker 1: you're about to make me lose it on your You
• 44:05
Speaker 1: don't know who you over here, so like I said before,
• 44:09
Speaker 1: uh my fun your nephew that you're trying not to
• 44:12
Speaker 1: claim over there. I don't know why you came from
• 44:14
Speaker 1: wherever there. You said you came from the Dallas to
• 44:16
Speaker 1: try to I came from California down here to Dalla
• 44:19
Speaker 1: and I'm telling you need to take your breath come
• 44:21
Speaker 1: back to California because down here if you don't know
• 44:23
Speaker 1: me like that, No, I don't know you, but I'm
• 44:25
Speaker 1: fending know you. And Travis been to know that my
• 44:28
Speaker 1: brother ain't his daddy. I don't know you know what.
• 44:31
Speaker 1: You need to talk to your brother again. That's what
• 44:33
Speaker 1: you need to do. And you don't need to be
• 44:34
Speaker 1: talking to me. You've been to send us all the money,
• 44:36
Speaker 1: and my brother then sent y'all. I and when I
• 44:42
Speaker 1: do look but I said, when I sent all that
• 44:44
Speaker 1: eight years worth of money back, you're gonna send every
• 44:47
Speaker 1: dime back because it belonged to my brother that ain't
• 44:49
Speaker 1: my brother. Child. Now, we ain't got time to be
• 44:51
Speaker 1: going on on Mari Repolver, showing nothing to find out
• 44:54
Speaker 1: who you know what? Like I said, you kicked the
• 44:56
Speaker 1: wrong one to be your best friend, not to tell
• 44:59
Speaker 1: me anymore. You Actually it is a good thing that
• 45:01
Speaker 1: you call, because if you came knocking on my brog,
• 45:03
Speaker 1: you got you with to day, No you got that's
• 45:06
Speaker 1: my second thing offen to do if we can't rectified
• 45:08
Speaker 1: over the fall. I don't have a problem coming over
• 45:11
Speaker 1: there knocking down some does and getting some questions answered,
• 45:13
Speaker 1: because damn it, this ain't Damon's baby. Obviously you must
• 45:17
Speaker 1: wish it was yours, so you're taking so much entry.
• 45:19
Speaker 1: No it ain't mine, but but it ain't Dame Wents either,
• 45:23
Speaker 1: and we got to had any and looking for from
• 45:26
Speaker 1: But I'm sorry this was taken over here, and Damon,
• 45:29
Speaker 1: where we continue to play with you? Oh, Damon, don't
• 45:31
Speaker 1: open with your brother's No you don't want to pay,
• 45:34
Speaker 1: I'm sorry, he's gonna continue to pay, and you call
• 45:37
Speaker 1: wherever you want to come, do whatever you want to do.
• 45:39
Speaker 1: So go back and tell your mama and everybody else
• 45:41
Speaker 1: who who's waiting for this meeting, to let them know
• 45:44
Speaker 1: it ain't happening. Look, my mama ain't got nothing to
• 45:47
Speaker 1: do with it. Mama been. What's your mama? You say
• 45:49
Speaker 1: it's your mama. Y'all got to get us. She's the
• 45:51
Speaker 1: same way like I'll see where you get it from.
• 45:53
Speaker 1: You're like just like her knows that y'all from knows
• 45:56
Speaker 1: it people, My y'all damn business. That's a growd. Man.
• 45:59
Speaker 1: That ain't My mama said it from the get go,
• 46:01
Speaker 1: that it wasn't Hunt, that it wasn't dame when m
• 46:04
Speaker 1: I mean, your mama's the two faced lock because you
• 46:05
Speaker 1: ain't with your mama said. You ain't been to sit
• 46:08
Speaker 1: here and bring my mama up in this well. If
• 46:10
Speaker 1: you know so much, then you come back on my ball,
• 46:12
Speaker 1: Come on my bath if you want to. We didn't
• 46:14
Speaker 1: done the man. Seven hundred and fifty dollars times twelve
• 46:19
Speaker 1: times eight is seven and two thousand dollars. That's how
• 46:23
Speaker 1: much money. And my brother didn't sent you, and that's
• 46:25
Speaker 1: how much we want back. And I need you to
• 46:27
Speaker 1: get the working on this money. Not okay, Why don't
• 46:31
Speaker 1: you come over here and get don't get your woop today, Terry,
• 46:34
Speaker 1: come on over here. You don't see you one thing
• 46:36
Speaker 1: if you you in Dallas when I don't care nothingbody
• 46:40
Speaker 1: but I'm in no Dallas. This ain't for you. So
• 46:43
  Speaker 1: don't even know what they don't I'm I don't even
• 46:45
Speaker 1: got want way for my time talking to you. Like
• 46:47
Speaker 1: I said, your brother is a week if he got
• 46:50
Speaker 1: to have you had a meeting and you got to
• 46:52
Speaker 1: be the one to call. I'm not really understanding. Look,
• 46:55

• 52:44
Speaker 1: TV show Power Carla. Yes, Yes, it's gonna be good.
• 52:49
Speaker 1: Did you see it last night? Yes? Mr Jay not
• 52:58
Speaker 1: exactly what he said, Jay, what they say. He did
• 53:04
Speaker 1: his thing. I'm sure more movie roles will be coming
• 53:07
Speaker 1: his way. Yeah, he's a very talented young man. Well,
• 53:11
Speaker 1: now it is time for today's Strawberry Letter. And if
• 53:13
Speaker 1: you need advice on relationships, on dating, on work, on sex,
• 53:16
Speaker 1: on parenting, and more, please submit your Strawberry Letter to
• 53:20
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM dot com and click submit Strawberry Letter.
• 53:25
Speaker 1: All right, let's go now, well, let's do it. Buckle
• 53:29
Speaker 1: up and hold on tight. We got it for it.
• 53:30
Speaker 1: You here. It is the straw Barn Number one question.
• 53:36
Speaker 1: We're asked, do you make these letters up? The number
• 53:38
Speaker 1: one answer is absolutely not. Absolutely a very active imagination,
• 53:46
Speaker 1: but no. Who has this kind of time subject? I
• 53:50
Speaker 1: start in a steamy video and didn't know it. All right,
• 53:59
Speaker 1: we'll get to you. Hang on, nephew. Dear Stephen Shirley,
• 54:02
Speaker 1: I need your help. My fiance and I have been
• 54:05
Speaker 1: at a great relationship for four years, and things were
• 54:07
Speaker 1: great until recently when I happened to scroll across the
• 54:10
Speaker 1: steamy video of us on his phone. We have our
• 54:13
Speaker 1: own YouTube channel with a lot of followers that love
• 54:16
Speaker 1: our funny videos of the two of us doing silly things,
• 54:19
Speaker 1: and I edit all of our videos for the channel.
• 54:21
Speaker 1: The other day, I had his phone so I could
• 54:24
Speaker 1: edit a recent video of us on a shopping spree.
• 54:26
Speaker 1: As I scroll through his videos, I saw one that
• 54:29
Speaker 1: was a total shocker. The video was only twenty seconds long,
• 54:33
Speaker 1: but it was twenty seconds of one of our hottest
• 54:36
Speaker 1: intimate moment. I never even knew he was recording us
• 54:40
Speaker 1: at the time, so you can imagine how shocked I was.
• 54:43
Speaker 1: This could very well be a simple mistake, but he's
• 54:46
Speaker 1: got some explaining to do. We have talked about making
• 54:49
Speaker 1: a video of our intimate moments before, and he is
• 54:51
Speaker 1: fully aware that I don't agree with it. I am
• 54:54
Speaker 1: focused on getting my degree and securing a good job,
• 54:57
Speaker 1: so I don't need any videos out there that could
• 55:00
Speaker 1: I'm back to haunt me. I'm so upset, and I
• 55:03
Speaker 1: may never trust him again. I'm hoping he is only
• 55:07
Speaker 1: using the video for his personal pleasure and he doesn't
• 55:10
Speaker 1: plan to use it for anything else. I love this man,
• 55:14
Speaker 1: but I'm no fool. Now. I'm wondering if he's recorded
• 55:17
  Speaker 1: other things that I don't think about that I don't
• 55:19
Speaker 1: know about. I have to come compose myself before I
• 55:22
Speaker 1: even talk to him about it. Stephen Shirley, How should
• 55:25
Speaker 1: I handle this? What if there are other videos that
• 55:27
Speaker 1: I don't know about? Please help? You are exactly right
• 55:31
Speaker 1: on right on all levels everything you're thinking. He is
• 55:34
Speaker 1: wrong for him to tape you without your consent or
• 55:37
Speaker 1: without your knowledge. It's deceitful. It is wrong. Uh and
• 55:41
Speaker 1: some places is probably against the law. How about that?
• 55:44
Speaker 1: And uh? What what did he um? What did he
• 55:47
Speaker 1: think that if he leaks it or something accidentally, that
• 55:50
Speaker 1: you would become an instant reality TV star. Did he
• 55:54
Speaker 1: think that? I don't know, but I'm sure this goes
• 55:57
Speaker 1: on more than we know. Uh, but I'm with you, Yes, yes, yes,
• 56:02
Speaker 1: he broke some major trust issues with you. And how
• 56:06
Speaker 1: can you ever trust this guy again? I mean, anything
• 56:08
Speaker 1: he says or does. I would definitely let him know
• 56:11
Speaker 1: that you saw it, you're upset by it, and you
• 56:14
Speaker 1: need him to take that one down and any others
• 56:16
Speaker 1: he might have. His attitude, his truthfulness or lack thereof,
• 56:22
Speaker 1: will determine if you, guys, go forward with the rest
• 56:24
Speaker 1: of your relationship. And really, I don't see how you can.
• 56:27
Speaker 1: This is a mistake. He may only have you know
• 56:29
Speaker 1: this one of you, but the fact that he did
• 56:31
Speaker 1: it without your consenter knowledge, like I said earlier, that
• 56:35
Speaker 1: that's the part that I would have trouble coming back from.
• 56:38
Speaker 1: All Right, Jay Shelly, this is one of the few
• 56:42
Speaker 1: times I totally totally agree with you. No, no, no, no.
• 56:47
Speaker 1: He is so wrong for doing this not letting her
• 56:51
Speaker 1: know that he is so wrong and he's short of
• 57:02
Speaker 1: getting his behind book doing something like this. This is
• 57:06
Speaker 1: so low down and here's the reason being. When you
• 57:09
Speaker 1: don't let people know you're not taping, you you you
• 57:13
Speaker 1: don't get you don't get to set up lighting, you
• 57:15
Speaker 1: don't get to set up shading and all that. The
• 57:18
Speaker 1: atmosphere is not the ambiance that you know. If you
• 57:25
Speaker 1: do it wrong, you can take to do it again.
• 57:29
Speaker 1: For him not to let her know that he's taping
• 57:32
Speaker 1: and not have the lighter, that's that could not be
• 57:34
Speaker 1: her lighting, that couldnot be her good side. I mean,
• 57:38
Speaker 1: what is wrong with him? Many many, many many times,
• 57:41
Speaker 1: and I totally professional. In words of Kinney Lamar, nasty.
• 57:46
Speaker 1: He's very nasty because he didn't get the lighting. Crazy.
• 57:55
Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna hear from We're gonna hear from
• 57:57
Speaker 1: Junior when we come back. We're else, they're gonna hear
• 57:59
Speaker 1: from the net few. We'll have part two of the
• 58:01
Speaker 1: guy's responses at twenty three after the hour, Jay, you're crazy.
• 58:05
Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Show, all right, coming up
• 58:09
Speaker 1: in twenty minutes, we're gonna do some power talking, talk
• 58:12
Speaker 1: about power in Kendrick Lamar with Carla, We're going to
• 58:15
Speaker 1: do all of that. That was a great show last night.
• 58:17
Speaker 1: It really was Kendrick Lamar. While he didn't, he's an actor.
• 58:28
Speaker 1: He is. Okay, here's a recap of today's Strawberry letter.
• 58:32
Speaker 1: The subject I started in a steamy video and didn't
• 58:35
Speaker 1: even know it. We still have to hear from Junior.
• 58:36
Speaker 1: We still have to hear from the nephew. Oh god,
• 58:39
Speaker 1: I can almost imagine what the nephew is going to
• 58:41
Speaker 1: say right now. But anyway, it's from a young lady.
• 58:44
Speaker 1: She needs our help. She's engaged to this man. They've
• 58:47
Speaker 1: been in a relationship for four years. Things were great
• 58:49
Speaker 1: until recently when she happened to um see a steamy
• 58:53
Speaker 1: video of her and him on his phone. They do
• 58:58
Speaker 1: um they do a YouTube channel showing them, you know,
• 59:01
Speaker 1: as a couple doing things, going shopping, just doing silly
• 59:04
Speaker 1: things together, and she edits the videos, so she has
• 59:08
Speaker 1: to go on his phone to get the video, to
• 59:10
Speaker 1: edit it to put it on YouTube. Well, this's just
• 59:12
Speaker 1: one particular day she happened to see a really hot
• 59:15
Speaker 1: steamy video of the two of him, two of them. Well,
• 59:18
Speaker 1: the problem is she did not consent and she had
• 59:21
Speaker 1: no knowledge that he took the video. So she's very
• 59:24
Speaker 1: very upset about it. She doesn't think she can trust
• 59:28
Speaker 1: him anymore. Um, you know she wants to approach him,
• 59:31
Speaker 1: but she has to call him way down before she does,
• 59:34
Speaker 1: and she definitely has trust issues with the young man. Now, Um,
• 59:37
  Speaker 1: I think she's right. I agree with him. Um, I
• 59:40
Speaker 1: agree with her. She should not have done that without
• 59:43
Speaker 1: her consent, and it is causing a major trust issue
• 59:46
Speaker 1: in their relationship. She should bring it up, she should
• 59:48
Speaker 1: deal with it. I think his attitude is going to
• 59:51
Speaker 1: determine whether or not they go any further in this
• 59:54
Speaker 1: relationship any further. Of course, Jay said that he agrees
• 59:58
Speaker 1: with me for the but for the wrong reasons. Uh.
• 1:00:03
Speaker 1: Jay says he shouldn't have done it. The young man
• 1:00:05
Speaker 1: shouldn't have done it without her knowledge because you want
• 1:00:08
Speaker 1: to get the lighting right when you're doing the videos. Okay,
• 1:00:12
Speaker 1: of course that was ignorant. Now let's hear. But let's
• 1:00:16
Speaker 1: get over here with Jay. Then right over there with Jake,
• 1:00:21
Speaker 1: because I'm gonna tell you that right now. I think
• 1:00:23
Speaker 1: she's very unappreciative. Okay, Okay, why are we worried about
• 1:00:27
Speaker 1: it if we got the tape in case only twenty second? Okay,
• 1:00:30
Speaker 1: it's not a whole lot, but your response is wrong.
• 1:00:34
Speaker 1: Why don't you say, baby, what's that that? To meet that?
• 1:00:40
Speaker 1: What's happened to that? You know saying send me that?
• 1:00:44
Speaker 1: Get that on your phones and you can have the
• 1:00:45
Speaker 1: same twenty seconds he got. So when you're feeling it,
• 1:00:48
Speaker 1: only you can turn yours on. You got to pick
• 1:00:50
Speaker 1: up his phone. What's happ that to me? It's all
• 1:00:53
Speaker 1: by the way to send videos? Why, what's wrong with that?
• 1:00:56
Speaker 1: She's a young woman. She's going places she doesn't want to.
• 1:00:59
Speaker 1: She's not going right now. She doesn't want this video
• 1:01:02
Speaker 1: to turn up in the wrong hands or for the
• 1:01:04
Speaker 1: wrong eyes to see it. If she's trying to get
• 1:01:06
Speaker 1: a job. You know, she's doing her thing professionally and
• 1:01:09
Speaker 1: she doesn't want this ever to come up. Who being professional?
• 1:01:14
Speaker 1: When they were making the video, well, she didn't know
• 1:01:16
Speaker 1: she was making it, that's the thing. He only knew that,
• 1:01:19
Speaker 1: but she she saw it. Why you don't want it
• 1:01:21
Speaker 1: on your phone? To thank JR? Let's move thinking you
• 1:01:28
Speaker 1: guys today. All right, let's hear from the nephew. Uh huh,
• 1:01:33
  Speaker 1: come on, I can't help you if I don't see
• 1:01:38
Speaker 1: the video. I'm happy to see exactly talking about you.
• 1:01:43
  Speaker 1: Understand that I can't help you I can't give you,
• 1:01:46
Speaker 1: you know, some some wisdom or whatever it is you
• 1:01:48
Speaker 1: want answers, I can't give it to you. Show me
• 1:01:51
Speaker 1: this twenty seconds we're talking about. That's what I need
• 1:01:54
Speaker 1: to start. We go to time. Miss Tips two thousand
• 1:01:57
Speaker 1: three at Yahoo. Send me to twinne set because let
• 1:02:00
Speaker 1: me look at it, let me analyze it, let me
• 1:02:02
Speaker 1: break it down, and then I can tell you how
• 1:02:05
Speaker 1: to assess the problem. I can do that for you.
• 1:02:08
Speaker 1: But here's what I do want you to understand. You
• 1:02:10
Speaker 1: ran across a twenty second video of you and your man.
• 1:02:14
Speaker 1: You didn't run across twenty seconds of him and somebody else.
• 1:02:18
  Speaker 1: It's just you. It's y'all. Don't be upset about it.
• 1:02:22
Speaker 1: If you want to do something, hey guess what, get
• 1:02:24
Speaker 1: some video on him when he not really knowing that
• 1:02:27
Speaker 1: it's going on. Have your own set of videos so
• 1:02:30
Speaker 1: that way you got your own and initiative. Anything else
• 1:02:32
Speaker 1: goes bad, you can release something on him. But all
• 1:02:35
Speaker 1: in all, I really can't really help you until I
• 1:02:38
Speaker 1: see that video. Can I see that video? Because I
• 1:02:43
Speaker 1: want to get that. Send me your video. That's how
• 1:02:49
Speaker 1: Tommy can help you. Don't normally to help people, but
• 1:02:51
Speaker 1: I'm trying to help you, but I can't help you
• 1:02:54
Speaker 1: if I don't see that dog on video. I want
• 1:02:56
Speaker 1: to see that twenty second and it'll just be you
• 1:02:59
Speaker 1: and him that had seen it, just us us. She
• 1:03:03
Speaker 1: says she's upset and she may never trust him again.
• 1:03:06
Speaker 1: I agree with her. You can't do that without telling
• 1:03:08
Speaker 1: you've done with your four year fiance, that you my
• 1:03:12
Speaker 1: four year fiance that I can no longer trust. Surely
• 1:03:18
Speaker 1: it's just y'all, though, put it on her phone without
• 1:03:22
Speaker 1: her knowledge. You can't do that her phone. Put on
• 1:03:25
Speaker 1: his phone. Now, I have a problem with him at
• 1:03:29
Speaker 1: having his phone. That's that's all ignorance. No, he let
• 1:03:39
Speaker 1: her see it because she edits the videos that they
• 1:03:41
Speaker 1: do together for their YouTube channel. Why does she know
• 1:03:44
Speaker 1: how to get in your phone? That's the issue, because
• 1:03:49
Speaker 1: they're stupid every man riding in their car right now?
• 1:03:55
Speaker 1: Like what is he? What is she doing with his phone? Anyway?
• 1:03:58
Speaker 1: We all thinking that because and if he's with his woman,
• 1:04:01
Speaker 1: he's saying all this to himself, to himself, he's saying
• 1:04:04
Speaker 1: none of this. Alright, guys, we gotta get out of here. Listen,
• 1:04:09
Speaker 1: email us her Instagram. That's your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter.
• 1:04:12
Speaker 1: I started to see me video and I didn't know it. Uh.
• 1:04:16
Speaker 1: You know you you should have a safe place, and
• 1:04:18
Speaker 1: that safe place should be with your man. And if
• 1:04:21
Speaker 1: you don't feel safe anymore with him because he did
• 1:04:23
Speaker 1: something to break the trust, Okay, got to build up
• 1:04:28
Speaker 1: that trust, and trust is hard to rebuild. I have
• 1:04:34
Speaker 1: been in the middle of it and pulled out one
• 1:04:36
Speaker 1: of them. Um, what's that that stick you put? Your
• 1:04:40
Speaker 1: had this selfish stick out I put on the show.
• 1:04:43
Speaker 1: You hear me, she knew it, knew you yet I'm
• 1:04:49
Speaker 1: telling you missing something. You both get the whole in
• 1:04:53

• 1:06:21
Speaker 1: talk about power, Carl, Come on, this is great Kendrick
• 1:06:25
Speaker 1: bar He does not have to sit down and be
• 1:06:29
Speaker 1: humble for this role he was. He was so good. Yeah,
• 1:06:32
Speaker 1: he was so good. First you don't you didn't know
• 1:06:38
Speaker 1: who he was. Yeah, check us out, gost he hit
• 1:06:43
Speaker 1: rock bottom last night. We're gonna talk about ghost in
• 1:06:45
Speaker 1: a minute. I mean he has really really jacked up
• 1:06:49
Speaker 1: when he choked Counselman Tate at the front raiser. Tad
• 1:06:54
Speaker 1: had the best line when you when you getting choked
• 1:06:57
Speaker 1: and you say to the choker, real big. Yeah, I
• 1:07:05
Speaker 1: don't like to see the unraveling of ghosts. I just don't.
• 1:07:08
  Speaker 1: I know, I know, I don't like it. I mean,
• 1:07:15
Speaker 1: he's gonna come back, you know the characters. Of course
• 1:07:17
Speaker 1: he is gonna make Yeah, he has to hit rock bottom.
• 1:07:21
Speaker 1: And and he lost his daughter. His son is betraying him,
• 1:07:25
Speaker 1: he lost his wife. His fan yeah loves his side piece.
• 1:07:32
Speaker 1: You know the motion. But yeah, life is upside. That
• 1:07:40
Speaker 1: can take a phone call. She finally took took the
• 1:07:44
Speaker 1: phone call. But everybody's going crazy about Kendrick Lamar's making
• 1:07:48
Speaker 1: his dramatic TV debut as Lacest the Crackhead. Is that
• 1:07:54
Speaker 1: his first acting role? Because he was really good? Yea
• 1:07:57
Speaker 1: he Hollywood, Yeah, yeah yeah. If you guests are on
• 1:08:05
Speaker 1: the show, you have to play the opposite of who
• 1:08:09
Speaker 1: you are, so they said. The producers asked Kendrick, Okay,
• 1:08:13
Speaker 1: we know who you are, so what do you think
• 1:08:15
Speaker 1: you're the opposite of what you would be? And he
• 1:08:17
Speaker 1: said a crackhead? So Lass was born, so there you go,
• 1:08:22
Speaker 1: Yes he was What was that laugh? Let me. You
• 1:08:32
Speaker 1: you ain't got no friends. Yeah, however, I got a
• 1:08:37
Speaker 1: little scared for a minute. I thought Kanan was about
• 1:08:39
Speaker 1: to kill Lasons. I got nervous. Yeah. Normally when you
• 1:08:43
Speaker 1: were guest, you normally leave by death. That's right, Tommy. Yeah, yeah,
• 1:08:50
Speaker 1: So it was Tark. It was the twins birthday, Trek
• 1:08:53
Speaker 1: and Brain a baby girl, and it was a very
• 1:08:56
Speaker 1: difficult time for the st Patrick family. You know the
• 1:09:00
Speaker 1: birthday cake mix up. You saw Tasha, she went to
• 1:09:03
Speaker 1: the bakery or did the cake and they sent the
• 1:09:05
Speaker 1: wrong cakes. Ain't happy birthday to Rain instead of Tyreeke. Yeah.
• 1:09:10
Speaker 1: Ghost missed the birthday dinner because you know, he was
• 1:09:13
Speaker 1: at the fundraiser trying to get back at dre and
• 1:09:16
Speaker 1: councilman Tate. So that was going down. He came home drunk,
• 1:09:21
Speaker 1: and so Ghost and Tyrek they got into it, and
• 1:09:24
Speaker 1: Tyreki really feels that he can't trust anybody beside Note,
• 1:09:29
Speaker 1: I really feel that Ghost needs to beat Tyrek's behind.
• 1:09:33
Speaker 1: He has been asking for this a long time. Just
• 1:09:38
Speaker 1: say this. Call it from experience. I realized this. Don't
• 1:09:40
Speaker 1: try your daddy, boys, Okay, I don't care. I drunk
• 1:09:44
Speaker 1: your daddy and don't. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean Tyrek
• 1:09:52
Speaker 1: was very disrespectful to his father and then he called
• 1:09:54
Speaker 1: him ghost. Did you say, okay, all right, the froggy
• 1:10:00
Speaker 1: Lee Tommy awesome? Yeah, well Tommy also he had a
• 1:10:06
Speaker 1: real moment with his godson Tyreek. I felt, you know,
• 1:10:09
Speaker 1: they were Yeah, you're right. No, I was gonna say sorry,
• 1:10:12
Speaker 1: didn't interrupt. But that was the best scene in the
• 1:10:14
Speaker 1: in the hold uh hour for me. I love that
• 1:10:17
Speaker 1: scene with Tommy and Terek. Yeah. But here's the thing.
• 1:10:20
Speaker 1: Here's the thing that the writing is so good. He's
• 1:10:23
Speaker 1: he's questioning a snitch. Meanwhile, his daddy is a snitch.
• 1:10:31
Speaker 1: But if Jaddy said a snitch is only a snitch
• 1:10:33
Speaker 1: unless he snitches uh on someone who he cares about. Yeah, yeah,
• 1:10:39
Speaker 1: and that's my question. Yeah, Terressey, this is Tommy's dad
• 1:10:43
Speaker 1: who were talking about. He said a rat is only
• 1:10:45
Speaker 1: a rat if he rats on somebody he should be
• 1:10:47
Speaker 1: loyal to. So hit me up at lips by Carla.
• 1:10:50
Speaker 1: Do you agree with that? My husband and I were
• 1:10:52
Speaker 1: watching it, and my husband was like, no, if you
• 1:10:55
Speaker 1: were rat, you were rat. Period. If you see a rat,
• 1:10:59
Speaker 1: is it a rat when you see a rat? Or
• 1:11:00
Speaker 1: is it just as a rat because of any kitchen
• 1:11:03
Speaker 1: or a rat. If you see him upstair, he's still
• 1:11:05
  Speaker 1: a rat. He's still a rat. That's what my husband's going.
• 1:11:10
  Speaker 1: I saw. I saw what I thought was a rat
• 1:11:12
Speaker 1: on the way to work this morning, but it turned
• 1:11:14
Speaker 1: out it was an a possum. So I don't know
• 1:11:16
Speaker 1: what that means. But I thought I was like, oh
• 1:11:21
Speaker 1: my god, is that a rat? Like they don't jump
• 1:11:28
Speaker 1: to anything. Man, Okay, that's what me. I finished up
• 1:11:32
Speaker 1: with power. I love that Tommy. He has his swag back.
• 1:11:35
Speaker 1: You know, he checked his god son Tyreek and now
• 1:11:38
Speaker 1: he's willing to work with his enemy Angela to get
• 1:11:42
Speaker 1: some things done. And that's what I need from Tommy.
• 1:11:44
Speaker 1: I need him to be focused because he's a smart dude.
• 1:11:47
Speaker 1: And uh well, we saw the very last scene angela
• 1:11:52
Speaker 1: ghost went to Angela's apartments back. So hit me up
• 1:12:00
Speaker 1: at lips of Carla. Tell me what you thought about
• 1:12:01
Speaker 1: Kendrick Lamar, his debut is Laces. Do you agree with
• 1:12:05
Speaker 1: Harresse about a rat is a rat? If you want holiday,
• 1:12:08
Speaker 1: hit me up at lips of Carla And that is it?
• 1:12:11

Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening
• 1:23:41
Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, guys, check this out.
• 1:23:46
Speaker 1: According to Hip Hop Wired, Monique back in the news,
• 1:23:51
Speaker 1: she is standing up now for her sister in comedy,
• 1:23:55
Speaker 1: Rosanne bar Yeah, standing up for a Rosanne Yeah. Uh.
• 1:24:02
Speaker 1: As you recall, Roseanne, of course, came under fire for
• 1:24:04
Speaker 1: a racist tweet comparing a White House advisor Valerie Jarrett
• 1:24:08
Speaker 1: to an ape. All right, we could stop this whole
• 1:24:11
Speaker 1: story right there. Uh. To start, Monique points out that
• 1:24:15
Speaker 1: everyone is said or done something they wish they could
• 1:24:18
Speaker 1: take back. Monique also doesn't think, uh Roseanne is a
• 1:24:23
Speaker 1: racist and shouldn't have been canceled. Uh. Monique says, my
• 1:24:26
Speaker 1: sister made a mistake and she said something I know
• 1:24:29
Speaker 1: she wishes she could take back. What I would ask
• 1:24:33
Speaker 1: is we don't throw her away. Okay, Yeah, everybody's like,
• 1:24:37
Speaker 1: what did Rosene say anything? Okay, here we go. Monique
• 1:24:42
Speaker 1: went on to share how Roseanne had her back when
• 1:24:45
Speaker 1: she had a Monique show. Remember that, So apparently during
• 1:24:48
Speaker 1: that time, certain white representatives wouldn't let their talent appear
• 1:24:53
Speaker 1: on Monique show. Okay, because they said the show was
• 1:24:57
Speaker 1: too black. So Roseanne stepped in in her defense. She's saying,
• 1:25:03
Speaker 1: so that's why she's defending. That's why she herd back
• 1:25:07
Speaker 1: defending Roseanne right now because back in that's what you
• 1:25:12
Speaker 1: got out of moen Row. Moen Row, we messed up to.
• 1:25:17
Speaker 1: They're gonna do that. I don't know no tour dates. Uh,
• 1:25:21
  Speaker 1: who's gonna be the opening? I don't know who's gonna
• 1:25:31
Speaker 1: comedians in trouble to her. I wish I hadn't said
• 1:25:35
Speaker 1: it to dang it like dang it. Come to the
• 1:25:46
Speaker 1: Rising wireless right now, I'll be down storring congresmen. Take
• 1:25:54
Speaker 1: you know you don't asked up? Back to Ken Lamar. Yeah,
• 1:26:01

• 1:26:03
Speaker 1: on Power last night. Phenomenal job, Mr Lamar job. Yes,
• 1:26:09
Speaker 1: you can keep rewinding to that part. I watched the
• 1:26:12
Speaker 1: whole scene like five times. You know, a part I
• 1:26:15
Speaker 1: love to when Canaan was on the bike. Oh yeah,
• 1:26:19
Speaker 1: that was so funny to me. He has a big
• 1:26:22
Speaker 1: role in this season and the Canaan show. Yeah, you're
• 1:26:30
Speaker 1: upset because Ghost has hit rock Bo Yeah, yeah, because
• 1:26:35
Speaker 1: that character is surreal to me. It's so real to me.
• 1:26:38
Speaker 1: I hate to see him unraveled like me. I hate
• 1:26:41
Speaker 1: to see him hit the bottom. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we
• 1:26:50
Speaker 1: married baby girl. Yeah. But his ghost, it's gohest. Nothing
• 1:26:56
Speaker 1: rattles him, you know, nothing brings you back, but his
• 1:26:59
Speaker 1: chill turning his daughter's on, his son is disloyal to him,
• 1:27:04
Speaker 1: his wife, because at least let us behind. All right,
