- 0:13Speaker 1: more like amazing buck things. And it's not doing me
- 0:19Speaker 1: true good. It Steve hard to move together for ste
- 0:30Speaker 1: please by, I don't join join me to be doing men.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn, you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Got the turnout to turn, turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby at it, huh, I show
- 2:02Speaker 1: will good morning everybody you're listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:12Speaker 1: a radio show. Yoh man. God is in the blessing
- 2:16Speaker 1: business all day every day. God got hundreds of millions
- 2:21Speaker 1: of blessings that he passes out every day. All I
- 2:25Speaker 1: want to do is be the recipient that I'm the
- 2:30Speaker 1: recipient of what He has for me. That's all I want.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I just want God's favor, and I go. I want
- 2:38Speaker 1: God's blessings. You know, of course I need his mercy
- 2:43Speaker 1: and his grace, but I just want his blessings and
- 2:48Speaker 1: his favor. I want. I want that in my life
- 2:51Speaker 1: because it does things for me that I'm absolutely incapable
- 2:55Speaker 1: of doing for myself. And I've been a recipient of
- 2:58Speaker 1: many of those, and you can be the recipient of
- 3:01Speaker 1: them too. You already are, really, really, you already are.
- 3:07Speaker 1: If you're getting up every morning, that's a blessing. If
- 3:11Speaker 1: you're getting one day closer to anything you're trying to accomplish,
- 3:14Speaker 1: that's a blessing. But now let me talk to you
- 3:18Speaker 1: about this part right here, folks, because this is the
- 3:19Speaker 1: part that messes people up a great deal. What happens
- 3:23Speaker 1: when you get off track? What is that? What does
- 3:28Speaker 1: that mean? When you get off track? See, I've been
- 3:33Speaker 1: off track. I can't tell you how many times, and
- 3:36Speaker 1: it happens in so many aspects of your life. But
- 3:40Speaker 1: what is it that makes getting off track so debilitating
- 3:44Speaker 1: to some people? You know, there are some people who
- 3:47Speaker 1: want stay off track. They off course, they off the dream,
- 3:51Speaker 1: they own to something else. And you cannot allow the
- 3:55Speaker 1: fact that you've gotten off track to stop. You can't
- 4:01Speaker 1: tell you something. Everybody gets off track. That are people
- 4:07Speaker 1: who are living their life's dreams in spite of getting
- 4:12Speaker 1: off track. See what happens when you get off track?
- 4:16Speaker 1: Here's the simple thing to do. The simple thing is
- 4:19Speaker 1: just to get back on track. Now, that's that's but
- 4:22Speaker 1: that's easier said than done, ain't it, Steve. Yeah, Because, see, people,
- 4:26Speaker 1: when you get off track, here's some of the things
- 4:29Speaker 1: that happen. See you get the here come to they sayers,
- 4:33Speaker 1: some of them from the outside, some of them internally.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Here's what gets said when you get off track. See,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I told you, I told you. You know you. You
- 4:46Speaker 1: start hearing that it's not for you. Okay, this is
- 4:53Speaker 1: all just because you got off track. It's not for you. Okay,
- 4:58Speaker 1: here's another one. It ain't meant to be. You can
- 5:02Speaker 1: hear it all you could said, Well, I guess it's
- 5:05Speaker 1: just not meant to be. But let me ask you
- 5:09Speaker 1: a question, though, who made the rule that when you
- 5:14Speaker 1: get off track you can't get back on? Who made
- 5:18Speaker 1: that rule? Where has that written that once you get
- 5:22Speaker 1: off track you can't get back on? See, Because I'm
- 5:26Speaker 1: gonna tell you something, folks, there's no such rule. As
- 5:30Speaker 1: a matter of fact, it's quite the opposite. See, everybody,
- 5:36Speaker 1: in pursuit of a dream, a goal and aspiration or
- 5:40Speaker 1: a mission, it's going to get off track. Sometimes you're
- 5:45Speaker 1: going to get derailed. They are going to be days
- 5:48Speaker 1: where you're not going to get it right. That are
- 5:50Speaker 1: going to be days where you feel like giving up.
- 5:53Speaker 1: There's going to be days when you're just gonna flat
- 5:55Speaker 1: out get it wrong. That's the journey. But let me
- 5:59Speaker 1: tell you something. Every successful person that I know, ever met,
- 6:02Speaker 1: talked to, set out, and chopped it up with, have
- 6:05Speaker 1: shared one thing in common. We all get off track.
- 6:10Speaker 1: We all get it wrong along the way. I don't
- 6:13Speaker 1: care who the person is. The president got it wrong
- 6:16Speaker 1: along the way. Your pastor got it wrong along the way.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Qui director guy got it wrong along the way. The
- 6:25Speaker 1: principle at your school got it wrong along the way.
- 6:29Speaker 1: The valor victoria of your class got it wrong along
- 6:33Speaker 1: the way. The star of the team got it wrong
- 6:38Speaker 1: along the way. They've all been off track. Your boss
- 6:43Speaker 1: down at your job, he got it wrong along the way.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Your immediate supervisor got it wrong along the way. Everybody
- 6:53Speaker 1: I know that has any measure of success in every
- 6:56Speaker 1: level that you call success, however you want to label it,
- 7:00Speaker 1: has gotten off track. As a matter of fact, it's impossible.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Listen to me, it is impossible not to get off
- 7:11Speaker 1: track in pursuit of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It
- 7:17Speaker 1: is impossible. Don't you let nobody tell you that they
- 7:22Speaker 1: got through life unscathed, that they made it because they
- 7:26Speaker 1: was just so determined and I would let nothing turn
- 7:29Speaker 1: me back. Yeah, you might not have let nothing turn
- 7:32Speaker 1: you back because you hear all but you thought about it.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Oh you thought about it on days when you was
- 7:39Speaker 1: off track. But see, people don't like to tell the
- 7:41Speaker 1: whole story. They just want you to think as much
- 7:44Speaker 1: as you can about them. So when they tell you
- 7:46Speaker 1: their story, they leave out the stuff alone. The way
- 7:51Speaker 1: it was just hard work and determination that got me here.
- 7:53Speaker 1: No it wasn't, No, it wasn't. It was the fact
- 7:57Speaker 1: that you got off track and the grace and mercy
- 8:00Speaker 1: of God allowed you to get back on. His forgiveness
- 8:03Speaker 1: allowed you to get back on because you would not
- 8:06Speaker 1: believe what some of the people have done. So when
- 8:09Speaker 1: you get off track, don't allow the naysayers outside and
- 8:14Speaker 1: the big naysayer inside, because let me tell you something,
- 8:17Speaker 1: the biggest naysayer of them all comes from inside. See,
- 8:22Speaker 1: it don't matter what other people say out there. It
- 8:24Speaker 1: takes some time for you to learn this, And I
- 8:26Speaker 1: understand because it took me some time to learn it. See,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I have a lot of naysayers out there, But I
- 8:32Speaker 1: ain't operating for them, operating function for the ones that
- 8:36Speaker 1: love me, for the ones that get me, for the
- 8:39Speaker 1: ones that understand what I'm really trying to do. And
- 8:42Speaker 1: so don't you be the one that doesn't allow yourself
- 8:48Speaker 1: to get back on track when you get off track, because,
- 8:51Speaker 1: like I said, who made the rule up that you
- 8:54Speaker 1: can't get back on track? There's no such rule out there.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Stop stopping yourself from getting it right. So what you
- 9:04Speaker 1: started to diet at the beginning of the year, and
- 9:07Speaker 1: you already off, start another one, start over, try it again,
- 9:13Speaker 1: don't ever stop trying. If you stop trying, you can't
- 9:16Speaker 1: make it. But if you never give up the effort,
- 9:19Speaker 1: if you never give up and say it's over, it
- 9:22Speaker 1: ain't over. You heard just saying it ain't over to
- 9:24Speaker 1: the fat ladies saying I never invite her. She's not invited.
- 9:32Speaker 1: It ain't over, to the fat ladies, saying I don't
- 9:34Speaker 1: know where the fat ladies stay. I am not sending
- 9:38Speaker 1: her an invitation to none of my events. She's not
- 9:41Speaker 1: welcome here. She didn't ask me a couple of times,
- 9:44Speaker 1: how come I never get invited? Because you're gonna start
- 9:47Speaker 1: saying it, and I ain't got time for that. All right,
- 9:52Speaker 1: stop inviting the fat lady to all your events. Thank you,
- 9:56Speaker 1: you're listening. Wake up, everybody, It is a Steve Harvey
- 10:04Speaker 1: Morning Show. Big up to all of the android people
- 10:07Speaker 1: out there. You know there's a thing again, Androids against iPhones,

- 11:29Speaker 1: was the same. I ain't called because you ain't put

- 11:36Speaker 1: get off somebody and hit me nine one one. I
- 11:38Speaker 1: gotta I got something for y'all that goes that goes
- 11:41Speaker 1: with this what's up? Check this out? So you know
- 11:43Speaker 1: the song Bugga Boom? Yeah, huh So Tasha and her
- 11:50Speaker 1: friends they're singing the song and something they look at me.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Tasha says, uh, you know the part where it says
- 11:56Speaker 1: you make me want to throw my page out there?
- 11:59Speaker 1: Tell MCI to cut the phone out. Satasha said, what's
- 12:03Speaker 1: the page? And we were like what she said? Who is?
- 12:11Speaker 1: MCI said? Was a phone company girl? C Yeah? Yeah?
- 12:19Speaker 1: The next tale, next tale o prime Coach, prime Coat,
- 12:26Speaker 1: wonder phone, I think angler. Yeah. So anyway, she said
- 12:33Speaker 1: so what's the pages. So we're trying to explain it
- 12:35Speaker 1: was it was a group of moms. We're trying to
- 12:36Speaker 1: explain to these girls what a pager is and what
- 12:40Speaker 1: she said. Why, guy just didn't use the cell phone.
- 12:42Speaker 1: We didn't technology, baby, technology was not where it is today.
- 12:49Speaker 1: But sureley, when we said we didn't have a cell phone,
- 12:54Speaker 1: just imagine DC eleven, twelve, thirteen year old, they all
- 12:56Speaker 1: did this. Yeah, how did you? Yeah, we was going

- 13:05Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, my little girl was done. She says,
- 13:08Speaker 1: what are we doing with no WiFi? What are we doing? Yeah,

- 14:23Speaker 1: Now we eating? Uh what we eat? We eating? We

- 14:52Speaker 1: for lunch too. Yeah. So the little point like I

- 15:00Speaker 1: when your mama come to get you? Oh no, no, no, no,

- 15:25Speaker 1: what we right? All right? J Yeah, this one's for you.
- 15:32Speaker 1: What's something that can be learned in a day, but
- 15:36Speaker 1: but can be useful for the rest of my life.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Oh that's easy. The word no. I like it. I
- 15:42Speaker 1: like it. You had to learn it. I had to
- 15:44Speaker 1: learn it. The word that. It's a big lesson and
- 15:48Speaker 1: a lot of people feel itsh's there's no where in the
- 15:50Speaker 1: the worlds about it can make you feel guilty about
- 15:52Speaker 1: saying nothing. I have the right to say no about you,
- 15:55Speaker 1: to say no, this is no. That's right, and you
- 15:58Speaker 1: can't fall into that people please thing. Yeah, I like that.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I like it. Good less, I like it. Ain't tying
- 16:06Speaker 1: me up? All right? What you got? What screams? I
- 16:10Speaker 1: want you to think I'm very smart, but I'm just
- 16:13Speaker 1: about average three. I want you to think I'm smart,
- 16:20Speaker 1: but I'm really take your time. Let them well, when
- 16:29Speaker 1: you come to dinner at a restaurant, huh, and you
- 16:35Speaker 1: and you trying to read or derves, but you're saying
- 16:38Speaker 1: harsh duos or something like that. Yeah, that right there,
- 16:43Speaker 1: real screaming at something. This ain't you ain't never been
- 16:45Speaker 1: here before, or you've never seen it in print. You
- 16:51Speaker 1: ain't seen it all. You're trying to read all derves
- 16:53Speaker 1: and then you ain't saying it right. You ain't been here.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You can add to that. Wait on your order, Tatar,
- 17:05Speaker 1: you think you know? Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah, all right, junior,
- 17:13Speaker 1: here we go. What song? Now? Think about this? What
- 17:18Speaker 1: song makes you tear up every time you hear it?
- 17:22Speaker 1: If you buy sick, if you sing a little bit
- 17:25Speaker 1: of you're feeling like loving me, come on, little, come
- 17:30Speaker 1: on feeling like loving me. But but but that's not
- 17:35Speaker 1: the part and the reason why Brian, my best friend,
- 17:38Speaker 1: he passed on. Brian would do all to add little
- 17:41Speaker 1: so I'll be singing you. And he said, anybody want
- 17:45Speaker 1: to touch on John John? Oh, anybody want to control
- 17:52Speaker 1: John John? John John was a bit about the group, right, yeah, yeah,
- 17:57Speaker 1: that was that was yeah. So that if Brian would
- 18:04Speaker 1: do all of the ad Lite got bringing your sex
- 18:07Speaker 1: hit by the oath, things that do all of that,
- 18:11Speaker 1: we're doing the whole song. Come right back you And
- 18:20Speaker 1: that's how we did it. Okay, I keep up every
- 18:22Speaker 1: time I knew you were. I just knew you were
- 18:24Speaker 1: gonna do a jalicy. I chose it. I cry your time,
- 18:28Speaker 1: I cry that's non. I get a bottle out and
- 18:34Speaker 1: drank your time. I drank with him, trying a little
- 18:39Speaker 1: bit for the homies. Yeah, now you usually seen the
- 18:43Speaker 1: same Jodice song, But like Sherley, what was? What's what's
- 18:46Speaker 1: your my favorite time? To take my money in my house?
- 18:49Speaker 1: And I love that's come on, okay you feel that
- 18:55Speaker 1: way a bottom, a little bit of a little bit
- 18:58Speaker 1: of Yeah, hake my mom my eyes and my car
- 19:05Speaker 1: do right? Hit up? You can make you look you'll do?

- 22:00Speaker 1: another person to come in at work. Um. I am
- 22:03Speaker 1: in a suite. It's rather small in here, but if
- 22:07Speaker 1: you are interested in coming in working, I would barely
- 22:09Speaker 1: like to have someone come in and work with me.
- 22:11Speaker 1: That would be nice. Can I ask you a question?
- 22:13Speaker 1: I'm good. What's your background? What do you do? Actually? Well,
- 22:16Speaker 1: actually I've just moved here to DC. I was actually
- 22:20Speaker 1: living in the Los Angeles area, and you know, I've
- 22:24Speaker 1: been doing hair there for the last probably fifteen twenty years.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I've been doing hair, definitely licensed. You know, I just
- 22:31Speaker 1: moved here, but I've been doing here care for quite
- 22:34Speaker 1: a long time. I specialized and only doing females hair.
- 22:37Speaker 1: And you know, just looking to get into DC and
- 22:40Speaker 1: get back to work, and okay, I really want to
- 22:42Speaker 1: find a place where I can do some hair and
- 22:44Speaker 1: and you know it's going to take me a minute
- 22:46Speaker 1: to get some clientele built up, but you know, I
- 22:49Speaker 1: know my work is good. Okay, Well, I am in
- 22:52Speaker 1: a high traffic area and I think this would be
- 22:54Speaker 1: a great area for you just coming in from another state,
- 22:57Speaker 1: especially because California, right, is it possible you can come
- 23:01Speaker 1: in and take a look and see what you can
- 23:04Speaker 1: you know, I'd love I'd love to come in and
- 23:06Speaker 1: take a look and see what I don't want the
- 23:07Speaker 1: type of work environment you have, and so I'm understanding
- 23:11Speaker 1: that a lot of people that do have and have
- 23:13Speaker 1: different rooms. Is that how this setup is, Yes, that's
- 23:16Speaker 1: how it's set up. However, I did you actually have
- 23:19Speaker 1: you actually have a suite? I do have a suite.
- 23:21Speaker 1: M it's a double sweet, so there is room for
- 23:23Speaker 1: another technician. But you know, with it being such close quarters,
- 23:26Speaker 1: you know, you got to got to kind of get
- 23:28Speaker 1: a feel for the person that's going to come in
- 23:29Speaker 1: and work for you. So right right, Rik's gonna be
- 23:32Speaker 1: working real close to each other. Understand, you know, if
- 23:34Speaker 1: we kind of meet each other, you know, we can
- 23:35Speaker 1: get a feel for each other and see if you work.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Let me ask you something. Have you have you had
- 23:39Speaker 1: a PHS? Have you worked around a PHS person before?
- 23:44Speaker 1: I'm sorry? Who a PHS? Have you worked around. I mean,
- 23:47Speaker 1: that's that's pretty much what I do. Have you worked
- 23:49Speaker 1: around a PHS. I'm not. I'm not familiar with that term.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Is that a California term? I don't with p PHS?
- 23:57Speaker 1: Is um private hair special Have you worked with a
- 24:00Speaker 1: private hair especialist before? Um? Well, I would consider myself
- 24:05Speaker 1: private being so I'm in a suite but where you
- 24:08Speaker 1: would be working out and open with myself. So I
- 24:10Speaker 1: don't know how private you would be. Oh no, no,
- 24:12Speaker 1: no, no no, no, you know you don't understand when it's
- 24:14Speaker 1: coming from. I'm a PHS. Okay, private hair specialists, and
- 24:19Speaker 1: what that is is I do women's private hair, like
- 24:24Speaker 1: if they want removal from under their arm or their
- 24:28Speaker 1: chin or you know. But most of my work actually
- 24:31Speaker 1: resides in the bikini line. Uh. You know, I'm an artist,
- 24:34Speaker 1: so I've known to put your name there. I can
- 24:37Speaker 1: die of different color or mohawk landing strip. You let me,
- 24:42Speaker 1: let me, let me let me stop you right there.

- 25:17Speaker 1: who are a customed to having a professional setting. Um,
- 25:20Speaker 1: and I don't think it would be appropriate for you
- 25:22Speaker 1: to have someone come in and have a landing strip, airport,
- 25:27Speaker 1: a plane, their baby daddy's name. I don't, I don't
- 25:30Speaker 1: out or whatever you do. That's not what we're about here.

- 25:56Speaker 1: come here and you could do that. Well, I'm thinking
- 25:58Speaker 1: that you would be open for something new. Why would
- 26:01Speaker 1: you think that I'll be open for that? Who told
- 26:03Speaker 1: you that? Which I mean? I you came all the
- 26:07Speaker 1: way from California and you called me. You're not coming
- 26:11Speaker 1: to my salon to call your name anybody else's name,
- 26:15Speaker 1: and you have a landing strip any type of initials. Okay,
- 26:19Speaker 1: this is a professional salan, and we found hair. The

- 40:56Speaker 1: like this? Are you will fly? What? What? It's too much?
- 41:01Speaker 1: And everybody got a computer? Call? Oh? Yeah, everybody got
- 41:06Speaker 1: They don't have books. They do have books, but they
- 41:08Speaker 1: have to have laptimes. They have to Yeah, they have
- 41:10Speaker 1: to have all that share them. One to private school.
- 41:12Speaker 1: She had to have all that too, uniforms, all of that. Yeah,
- 41:16Speaker 1: but yeah, you know public school less you and you
- 41:20Speaker 1: want to help the teachers out. They still need stuff
- 41:22Speaker 1: in the school. So then I like to donate to
- 41:24Speaker 1: the classroom as well. Yeah, because you got a lot
- 41:26Speaker 1: of teachers that really you know then pockets they really do.
- 41:31Speaker 1: They do for supplies and stuff for the kids. And
- 41:34Speaker 1: we commend you educators who do that, big up, thank you. Yes,
- 41:41Speaker 1: yeah yeah, because the parents out there, when the teachers
- 41:44Speaker 1: are asking the things that the classroom need, if you
- 41:47Speaker 1: can help them out, help them out money. Absolutely, yeah.
- 41:53Speaker 1: One day, one day the kids will realize what sacrifices
- 41:57Speaker 1: their parents made. A computer. I would tell him'm gon
- 42:02Speaker 1: need a computer for class. Matter of fact, we would
- 42:04Speaker 1: get in trouble if we pulled out a computer or calculator.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, calculate. You gotta do it. Yeah in
- 42:12Speaker 1: your head, let me see your work. Well listen, speaking
- 42:15Speaker 1: of school, ideal family member jo Anthony Brown left us

- 44:00Speaker 1: up next, nephew Tommy is here to make us laugh,
- 44:03Speaker 1: of course, with today's praying phone call that's coming up
- 44:06Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming
- 44:11Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four
- 44:13Speaker 1: minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today. The subject
- 44:17Speaker 1: You're not as fine as you think right now, that's
- 44:24Speaker 1: the subject of the letter. Oh oh oh, he got
- 44:31Speaker 1: hit in his mind. Right right now, nephew is here
- 44:35Speaker 1: with today's praying phone call. What you got for his
- 44:37Speaker 1: next alarm alert? Alarm? Alarm alert sounds very simple, right right? Okay?
- 44:45Speaker 1: Alarm alert? Come on? Kay? Hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 44:49Speaker 1: reach the nise please. Yeah, this is Denise. Hi, Denise,
- 44:53Speaker 1: This is Tony. I'm calling security. Um, I've got an
- 44:57Speaker 1: alarm that we've got an alarm that's gone off. You guys.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Property is all right? Are you guys? We're just checking
- 45:03Speaker 1: before we send authorities out. Is everything okay? Then maybe
- 45:06Speaker 1: someone trip the alarm? Oh my gosh, No, I'm at work.
- 45:11Speaker 1: I'm at work right now. I'm not home. Okay. Do
- 45:14Speaker 1: you have a tet or dog or anything that could
- 45:16Speaker 1: actually trip the alarm? No, No, that's strange. It never
- 45:20Speaker 1: goes off like that. I'm nervous. Okay, give you a second.
- 45:25Speaker 1: We've got a call into the neighborhood security that actually
- 45:28Speaker 1: are en route to the property and they were going
- 45:31Speaker 1: to give us some information before we actually sent sent
- 45:35Speaker 1: the police officers out, unless you would like for me
- 45:37Speaker 1: to send them out now. But yeah, I feel like
- 45:39Speaker 1: you should send the police. I mean if I'm not
- 45:42Speaker 1: home and nobody's home and my alarms going off and
- 45:46Speaker 1: it never goes off, that I'm worried. Okay, hang on
- 45:49Speaker 1: one second. This is neighborhood security calling the Hang on
- 45:52Speaker 1: one second. I'll be right back to you. Okay, niece,
- 45:55Speaker 1: are you there? Yes, yes, yes, I'm here. They have
- 46:00Speaker 1: they're out there of a property, the neighborhood security. Do
- 46:03Speaker 1: you um there is a black guy? There is only
- 46:07Speaker 1: your premise. Are you familiar with who that might be? Well,
- 46:11Speaker 1: I mean my husband's black, but he should be at
- 46:13Speaker 1: work right now. Okay, oh, definitely, okay, and he probably
- 46:18Speaker 1: have texted me if you know the alarm was flying off. Okay, Well,
- 46:22Speaker 1: I mean, do you have any other black male friends?
- 46:25Speaker 1: Excuse me? Do you have any other Do you have
- 46:30Speaker 1: any other black male friends that might be at the house.
- 46:33Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, it's a very weird question. I mean
- 46:37Speaker 1: I have black friends, yes, but I don't think they
- 46:40Speaker 1: would be in my house. Okay, Well, I mean should
- 46:44Speaker 1: we just assume that this is your husband? What do
- 46:46Speaker 1: you think? I I mean, what would you like? I mean,
- 46:52Speaker 1: what how tall is this person? My husband's sixty? Hold
- 46:57Speaker 1: on one second, let me go back to the scurry
- 46:59Speaker 1: from the neighborood. I ain't one second know if somebody's
- 47:02Speaker 1: in my larm's going off. I don't know. I mean, okay, Denise, yes, okay,
- 47:09Speaker 1: they have. The black guy that they're looking at is
- 47:12Speaker 1: about five foot and maybe late twenties. How old is
- 47:16Speaker 1: your husband? No, my husband is I just told you
- 47:22Speaker 1: that my husband's not there. He would have texted me
- 47:25Speaker 1: or called me and told me that he accidentally set
- 47:28Speaker 1: the alarm off. And I'm actually gonna text him. I mean,
- 47:31Speaker 1: this is crazy. I should probably call him. Okay, you
- 47:34Speaker 1: do realize if we send you do realize if we
- 47:36Speaker 1: send the authorities out and this is a false call,
- 47:38Speaker 1: that you gotta get charged for that. You do know that, right,
- 47:41Speaker 1: a false call. You just said somebody's in my house
- 47:44Speaker 1: and it's not me or my husband. You're saying your
- 47:50Speaker 1: husband's black, and then there's a black guy there. I
- 47:53Speaker 1: mean they probably know each other, right, Are you kidding me?
- 47:57Speaker 1: What kind of question is that? Because they're both black.
- 48:02Speaker 1: I'm just trying to save you some money, man. I
- 48:04Speaker 1: don't want to send out police officers when they get
- 48:07Speaker 1: there and then all of a sudden, your husband knows
- 48:08Speaker 1: the black guy, or he's he's a relative or something.
- 48:11Speaker 1: I mean, do they I mean, you know, do you
- 48:13Speaker 1: want to call you think this is really offensive? And
- 48:21Speaker 1: and I don't understand if I'm telling you that I
- 48:23Speaker 1: don't know who the person is in my house that
- 48:26Speaker 1: means to send the police. I mean, this is ridiculous.
- 48:32Speaker 1: They're calling back neighborhoods. Just hold on one second. Neighborhood
- 48:36Speaker 1: security is calling back here. Oh my god, this is ridiculous. Okay, Denise,
- 48:45Speaker 1: Now the security in the neighborhood. They're telling me that
- 48:50Speaker 1: this guy just drove out of the garage and a
- 48:52Speaker 1: white pickup. Do you do you guys have a white pickup? Yes,
- 48:56Speaker 1: we do. So this guy just pulled out your your
- 49:00Speaker 1: your garage and a white pickup. Well, I have my
- 49:03Speaker 1: car at work and my husband has his car that's
- 49:06Speaker 1: like the truck that he uses on the weekends for
- 49:09Speaker 1: like construction and stuff. So that means somebody just stole
- 49:12Speaker 1: our car. I can't believe this is happening. You are
- 49:16Speaker 1: watching somebody in my house and you you basically watch
- 49:19Speaker 1: them steal my truck. Well, well, I'm gonna go ahead
- 49:23Speaker 1: now and get the police to go over. Okay, why
- 49:26Speaker 1: are you going to send them now? He probably took
- 49:28Speaker 1: all my sh in my house. I mean, the police
- 49:32Speaker 1: get there, there's not gonna be anything left in my house,
- 49:34Speaker 1: probably the back of the truck. I mean, I'm doing
- 49:37Speaker 1: the best I can. I'm trying to help you out.
- 49:38Speaker 1: With you is going to do with me now? I mean,
- 49:41Speaker 1: the whole time you've been talking to me, he's been
- 49:44Speaker 1: cleaning up my house out and stealing. Well, how did
- 49:47Speaker 1: he get in your house? I don't know. I don't
- 49:51Speaker 1: know this guy. You're what I was asking him? How
- 49:57Speaker 1: could somebody gave her house? Did you leap something open?
- 50:00Speaker 1: What did you go? Hey, listen, you would know because
- 50:05Speaker 1: I wouldn't have been able to set my alarm this morning.
- 50:08Speaker 1: If something was open, it would beat then it wouldn't
- 50:10Speaker 1: let me set the alarm. And the fact that you're
- 50:13Speaker 1: interrogating me when somebody's robbing my house. You need to
- 50:16Speaker 1: do your job. I need to call my husband. You're
- 50:20Speaker 1: wasting my time. I mean, by the time the police
- 50:22Speaker 1: get there, it's going to be tomorrow. So you're gonna
- 50:25Speaker 1: so you're gonna call Darrel now. I'm sorry, You're gonna
- 50:29Speaker 1: call Darrel now? How do you know my husband's name, Denise.
- 50:38Speaker 1: This is nephew telling me from the Steve Hobby Morey Show.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Your husband Darrell got me through prank phone coffee. Oh
- 50:45Speaker 1: my god, I wasn't gonna come down there. And so
- 50:54Speaker 1: nobody right, nobody's tell your truck, nobody's at your house,
- 50:59Speaker 1: your alarm. Fine, everything is good, but Therell told me said,
- 51:02Speaker 1: we gotta get my wife. We gotta get a good
- 51:05Speaker 1: that's so get you. Oh my god, I was sweating.
- 51:11Speaker 1: I was so angry. I was sweating over here all right.
- 51:16Speaker 1: To tell me this? What is the baddest and I
- 51:18Speaker 1: mean the baddest radio show in the land, so Steve
- 51:22Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. I think I might have went you
- 51:32Speaker 1: think too far? Oh, this this this problem, you know
- 51:36Speaker 1: what this might be the first time I think I
- 51:37Speaker 1: went yeah first, never first, the first time that he
- 51:41Speaker 1: thinks that he thinks that, Wow, Well, I'm I'm a
- 51:45Speaker 1: prank collegist, okay, and when yeah, I'm a prank college.
- 51:48Speaker 1: So what's the line. So what do you think what
- 51:51Speaker 1: made this prank make you feel like you just went
- 51:53Speaker 1: over that line? I just I think I took the
- 51:56Speaker 1: lady a little too far. You know she married the
- 51:58Speaker 1: white lady, you know, nice lady at the black guy.
- 52:00Speaker 1: I just I just it was just a bit much.
- 52:03Speaker 1: You push button a push. I just kind of went
- 52:07Speaker 1: a little too when you really you'reself in that's scary feel. Yeah. Yeah,
- 52:13Speaker 1: but I didn't stop, you know. Yeah, well I needed
- 52:18Speaker 1: to finish it part. Yeah, I had to finish my part.
- 52:21Speaker 1: But I'm just saying though, I'm just saying I did
- 52:24Speaker 1: what I needed to do. Got you know, Frank Elogist,
- 52:27Speaker 1: always know that you have to finish your you know,
- 52:30Speaker 1: and I want to. I want to take time right
- 52:32Speaker 1: now for all the people, all the people that stopped me,
- 52:34Speaker 1: and tell me how they love the pranks. They love
- 52:36Speaker 1: the pranks. I love you back. I hope y'all. I
- 52:38Speaker 1: hope it gets you to work in the morning with
- 52:39Speaker 1: a smile on your face. Everybody's got their favorite one.
- 52:42Speaker 1: Everybody always stopping me, and a couple of people like
- 52:44Speaker 1: you know, try to charge me up like you know,
- 52:46Speaker 1: you ain't gonna get me with all that. Okay, cool,
- 52:49Speaker 1: And as soon as you say that, I get get
- 52:51Speaker 1: your phone number from the person that's with you. That's
- 52:53Speaker 1: I'm waiting for Vanessa Belt callaway that's our girl. I'm waiting.
- 53:00Speaker 1: She challenge you, Yeah, she challenged you. All right, all right, nephew,

- 53:29Speaker 1: your letter live on the air, just like we're gonna
- 53:32Speaker 1: read this one right here, right now today. Fuck all
- 53:36Speaker 1: up it, hold on tight, we got it for you here.
- 53:37Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. All right, nephew, thank you.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Subject you are not as fine as you think. Okay,
- 53:44Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. Recently I noticed that there are a
- 53:47Speaker 1: lot of women that think they got it going on
- 53:50Speaker 1: and don't mind bragging on how fine they are. There
- 53:53Speaker 1: is nothing that turns me off more than a woman
- 53:57Speaker 1: that thinks she is God's gift to man. Nothing, you
- 54:02Speaker 1: know who I'm talking about. The ones that walk around
- 54:04Speaker 1: like their ish doesn't stink. I was married to a
- 54:07Speaker 1: gorgeous sister, and the best thing about her was the
- 54:10Speaker 1: fact that she wasn't stuck on herself and she always
- 54:13Speaker 1: had a great attitude. Women don't realize that looks will
- 54:18Speaker 1: fade in the long run. It's a great personality and
- 54:22Speaker 1: brains that will matter most. Most men are idiots and
- 54:25Speaker 1: will light to women to get what they want from them. Huh,
- 54:27Speaker 1: but not me. So since being single, I'm having trouble
- 54:32Speaker 1: meeting a good woman that has something to bring to
- 54:34Speaker 1: the table besides looks. I was raised by a good
- 54:37Speaker 1: woman that was a teacher for thirty five years, and
- 54:40Speaker 1: she was smart, down to earth, and she took care
- 54:43Speaker 1: of her body and family. I'm well traveled, speak two languages,
- 54:48Speaker 1: and i have a great job. But I've met many
- 54:51Speaker 1: women that have no ambition to rise above their current
- 54:54Speaker 1: status in life. Their conversational skills are low, and all
- 54:57Speaker 1: they want to talk about is social media or current movies.
- 55:01Speaker 1: If you mentioned politics, the conversation dies because they aren't
- 55:06Speaker 1: up to speed with current events. These women are like
- 55:10Speaker 1: a Ferrari with no engine, useless. I can't I can't
- 55:15Speaker 1: just have a fine woman to show off. I need
- 55:17Speaker 1: one that enjoys good conversation and the finer things in life?
- 55:20Speaker 1: Is it wrong to think that women should bring a
- 55:23Speaker 1: little something to the table besides looks and a great body.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Can you please help me out here, well, who died
- 55:30Speaker 1: and made you a judgment of all? I mean, come on, seriously,
- 55:35Speaker 1: let me get this straight. You don't like women who,
- 55:37Speaker 1: you say brag about how fine they are. And let
- 55:41Speaker 1: me ask you something. There's a whole bunch of stuff
- 55:43Speaker 1: going on in the world. I mean, you know this
- 55:45Speaker 1: current president. I mean, just you know, I mean, everything
- 55:49Speaker 1: that's going on in the world. And the thing that
- 55:51Speaker 1: turns you off most in the world is a woman
- 55:55Speaker 1: who talks about how fine she is. Really, how shallow
- 55:58Speaker 1: are you? Uh? And and and and let me also
- 56:02Speaker 1: say this, Uh, you don't like a woman who brags
- 56:05Speaker 1: about herself. But in the letter you say you was ray,
- 56:08Speaker 1: you were raised by a good woman, you're you're you're
- 56:10Speaker 1: well traveled, you speak two languages, you have a great job. Okay,
- 56:14Speaker 1: what are you doing. You're bragging about who you are.
- 56:17Speaker 1: I think you're very judgmental. I think, uh, the line
- 56:20Speaker 1: you say about these women are like Ferraris with no engine.
- 56:23Speaker 1: You call them useless. I mean, who made you judge
- 56:27Speaker 1: and jury? That's what I'm trying to figure out. Um,
- 56:30Speaker 1: And what do you want a woman to bring to
- 56:32Speaker 1: the table. I think most women know that that looks
- 56:36Speaker 1: will fade and and things like that. So you know
- 56:39Speaker 1: a lot of people say, while they have it, they
- 56:41Speaker 1: flaun it. Okay, while they have it, they flaun it.
- 56:44Speaker 1: But you, young man, uh you, what are you bringing
- 56:50Speaker 1: to the table? Um? Seriously? But but a lot of judgment, um,
- 56:55Speaker 1: but a whole lot of judgment. You say. You even
- 56:58Speaker 1: talk about men, you say, most men are idiots and
- 57:01Speaker 1: we'll lie to women to get what they want from them.
- 57:03Speaker 1: But not you. So since being single, you have trouble
- 57:07Speaker 1: meeting a good woman that has something to bring to
- 57:09Speaker 1: the table besides looks. So obviously you like good looking women.
- 57:15Speaker 1: You obviously you like that, obviously because that's what you
- 57:18Speaker 1: talk about mostly. And what I don't know a man
- 57:21Speaker 1: alive that doesn't love a beautiful woman. I mean, so
- 57:25Speaker 1: why don't you get to know them a little more? Why?
- 57:28Speaker 1: You know, it's nothing wrong with being confident and you know,
- 57:33Speaker 1: knowing what you look like and appreciating your oneself and
- 57:36Speaker 1: all that. I thought men liked confidence. Are you tearing
- 57:40Speaker 1: that home? Is that a myth now? Because that's what
- 57:43Speaker 1: it sounds like to me. These women are confident, they
- 57:46Speaker 1: know who they are and all of this. And you know,
- 57:50Speaker 1: I think you're very judgmental. I think you're braggadocious as well.
- 57:54Speaker 1: And I think that this is what you're going to attract,
- 57:58Speaker 1: because this is what you're putting out there. There are
- 58:00Speaker 1: plenty of beautiful women with brains and ambition and stuff
- 58:03Speaker 1: like that. Why don't you try instead of judging them,
- 58:06Speaker 1: Why don't you try to find that in your life? Jesus,
- 58:10Speaker 1: oh at, I don't like him that much. Mad at him.
- 58:15Speaker 1: They're useless? He called women useless. Women are like a
- 58:18Speaker 1: Ferrari with no engine. Come on, I don't like you.
- 58:22Speaker 1: You're you're judging, you're judging them. I don't care for that,
- 58:26Speaker 1: all right, junior, your urn This is nobody but an old,
- 58:30Speaker 1: unattractive judge, middle ass man. This is That's all that's
- 58:35Speaker 1: all you is. And then it here's the other thing too.
- 58:38Speaker 1: That's why the last one left because you're so judgmental.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I was married. Oh you're not marry? No both? Oh
- 58:45Speaker 1: yo at last? Ain't man no both, because see people
- 58:48Speaker 1: that are single, they don't write into the show. They
- 58:51Speaker 1: ain't got time. They're single, they meet, they write they're
- 58:54Speaker 1: going on dates. Now hear you in right into some
- 58:57Speaker 1: strangers and you want to help your problem. Your problem
- 58:59Speaker 1: is you judge mental How dare you speak of women
- 59:02Speaker 1: like that? Man? My mother is one of the coldest
- 59:04Speaker 1: women I've ever known. Shirley Strawberry is one of the
- 59:07Speaker 1: coldest women I ever known. Carlin Pharrell is one of
- 59:10Speaker 1: the coldest women I've ever known. You must not know women.
- 59:13Speaker 1: You must not know women. Man. You give a woman
- 59:18Speaker 1: anything to give you more back in return? You stupid food.
- 59:22Speaker 1: I love it. Hell is wrong with you. You give
- 59:25Speaker 1: women groceries, they give you a meal. Huh, You're give
- 59:29Speaker 1: money to take care of a house. That's why you
- 59:32Speaker 1: ain't win nobody. That's what your same problem is. Man. Man,
- 59:36Speaker 1: you need to gonna find something else to do to you. Man,
- 59:37Speaker 1: I ain't got time that I find you. Whoop your ass.
- 59:41Speaker 1: I don't care for women. I don't care for this
- 59:45Speaker 1: this this dude here, yeah, no, all right, listen, um,
- 59:49Speaker 1: We'll be back with part two of this letter. The
- 59:52Speaker 1: subject You're not as fine as you think you are,
- 59:54Speaker 1: neither are you? How about that? All right, we'll recap
- 59:58Speaker 1: the letter when we come back. The subject is You're
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: not as fine as you think. We'll talk about it
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: more at twenty three after the hour right after this
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: you're listening to show. All right, let's recap this strawberry letter.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: The subject You're not as fine as you think you are.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: This man wrote in Okay, he notices that there are
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: a lot of women now that think they got it
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: going on and don't mind bragging on how fine they are.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: He's saying, there's nothing that turns him off more than
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: a woman who thinks she's God's gift to the world. Well,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: you know, there's a whole lot of stuff going on
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: in the world. This is what concerns you, sir, He's
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: and then he tries to make friends with us by saying,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: you know who I'm talking about, the ones that walk
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: around like their ish doesn't stink. He's saying he was
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: married to a gorgeous sister. The best thing about her
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: was the fact that she wasn't stuck on herself, and
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: she always had a great attitude. Keyword and that sentence
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: is was okay, you weren't married to her. And then
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: he's trying to tell women about themselves, saying that women
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: don't realize that looks will fade and in the long run,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: it's a great personality in brains that will matter. We
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: know that we know that we're never going to be
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: as fine as we were in our twenties. And you know,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: we know that we get it. Our mothers teach us that. Okay,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: so you don't have to tell us that you're being
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: very judgmental here. Uh. He's saying since being single, he's
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: had trouble meeting a good woman that has something to
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: bring to the table besides looks. Then he talks about himself.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: He says he's well traveled, he speaks two languages, and
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: he has a great job. Okay, so now you're bragging
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: about yourself. So do you like bragging or you don't
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: like bragging? You're confusing, all right. He's saying that women
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: only want to talk about social media and current movies. Now,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: all right, you know, keep it light on the first
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: couple of dates. Okay, you want to talk about politics. Politics,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: We can't escape politics. Yeah, and everybody doesn't have to
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: talk about politics. Everybody's not into it. Okay, Um, he
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: wants to talk about the fire, the things in life,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: he says. So he's asking, is it wrong to think
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: that women should bring a little more to the table
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: besides looks in a great body? I mean, come on,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: come on, come on, can you please help me out here? Yeah?
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Stop being so judgmental? All right, nephew, what you got?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: You are stupid every day even I know better, and
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I come from stupid. I come from stupid. Yeah, but
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I know this is just beyond right here. Yeah, you
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: have lost your man. You don't know what you Listen,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: let me tell you something. You speak to the language
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: and we still don't want to hear you. You got
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: two langua, you got two langues. I don't want to
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: hear now, one of them talking about to finished sitting
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: being get with you, about you putting some sisters or
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: some ladies down, if you lost your man. I want
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: to hear everything a woman want to talk about. If
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: it's movies, but my wife rolling, she talked about card
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: it b We're gonna talk about a lot of housewives.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about Kim kardash Yeah, guess what we're
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: gonna talk about? Trump? But guess what. Don't nobody want
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: to talk about Trump all damn yo, I'll talk about politics.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I'm want to talk about all that, all that. It's depressing. Yes,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: what bothers me is is that you're trying to judge
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: some sisters that want to compliment themselves. They want to
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: talk about how fly they look. That's nothing wrong with that.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: That's nothing but confidence. That's all. That's all it is.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: That's all. That's all her sister doing. She showing you
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: the comfidence she has within herself. Nothing wrong with that. Brother.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: You need to regroup and check yourself. That's right now.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I don't know what happened in your your your marriage.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: I don't know, you know if she passed away? Uh,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: you know they divorced, all right, So you need to
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: check yourself and fin out why people are leaving you.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: He says. Men are idiots. He said that in the letter,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: so he don't respect me and junior eight now he said,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: men are idiots who light to women to get what
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: they want from them. He says, but not me. Your
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: asses in the glue. No no, no no no, here's
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: a prodigy yourself. You need to get the ladd You
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: need to get the land. And you think you know
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: women better than women. No, women, come on, Yeah, whatever
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: women want to talk about, I'm dead show interested in.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: But he's a contradiction though. But I have seen brothers
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: like this a thousand times, and every last one of
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: them or buy themselves. Yeah, yeah, I think he's intimidated
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: by a beautiful woman. I think that's what it comes
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: down to. He's intimidated. He doesn't like a woman to
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: brag about her looks. But here he is. I can't
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: read this sentence enough. I'm well traveled, speak two languages,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: and I have a great job. What is that You
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: didn't say your ass was fine? If you will travels,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: do us a favor, fly your ass somebody. You're lying again,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: ran It says I'm well traveled, speak two languages, and
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: I have a great job. But show asks it. I
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: just want to keep going back to yourself and buy yourself. Yeah,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: he talks about women. Their conversational skills are low. All
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: they want to talk about. I mean, and then these
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: women are like a Ferrari with no engine, useless that's
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: the line. Yeah, yeah, get your asses ugly. Yeah, he
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: ain't got no ferra. But how dare you call women useless?
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Come on, come on now, check yourself. Yeah, you need
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: to check yourself. He really does, because ladies are the
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: backbone to this nation and you need to know that. Yeah,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: he can't just have a fine woman to show off.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: He needs one that enjoys good conversation and the finer
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: things in life. But the problem is your ass you
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: can get and you're not a finer thing in a
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: no know that about yourself, young man. Yeah, and then
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: he's gonna try to be our friends. That that other
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: line that I threw out there again. You know who
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I'm talking about? Oh, well, there's nothing that turns me
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: off more than a woman that thinks she's God's gift
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: to the world. You know who I'm talking about, Like
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: he's friends with us? You know who I'm talking about,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: the ones that walk around like their ish doesn't stay.

- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Did you guys see this? He takes a tumble, I
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: should say, and Rick ross his near bicycle. Miss just
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: look where you're going. Okay, we'll talk about it right
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to well, um, the Boss Rick
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Ross narrowly avoided a collision with a bike rider after
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: he left a New York City radio station where he
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: was chatting about the new Port of Miami two album,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: which dropped on Friday. TMZ caught the incident on film,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: of course, and it shows Ricky Rose and member of
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: his crew. They walked right into a marked bike lane
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: without looking both ways. Yeah, we know, across when you
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: crossed the street to look both ways for those bike
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: lanes in New York the coming Yeah yeah, yeah, uh
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: so fortunate, but fortunately the non too happy cyclist managed
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: to swerve. Yeah he was mad, Yeah, he was mad.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: He was really so he avoided them though, Yeah, quick
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: reflexes on the bicycle. We didn't fly, didn't fly in
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: the wind, I know I did. Okay, all right, So
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and this is another related story. You gotta look where
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: you're going. You have to pay attention. Uh. You know
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: rapper Mystical you know him? Yeah, all right, Well he
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: was performing in Tampa last week and he fell. Oh
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: he fell hard. According to an eyewitness, a drink was
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: dropped on the stage right before Mystical got there. He
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: hit the stage around one am, and thirty seconds in
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: he tumbled off stage. Security helped him off, but he
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: was clearly injured and he was in some pain. You
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: could see it for the next forty five minutes. Uh.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Mystical sat on the edge of the stage and scooted
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: around on the bit. You know how it is when
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: you're when you're hurting, but you still have to perform.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: You gotta make a do what it do is? Nephew says,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: why you know what? It gets me? Why he take
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: his ownly bite? What don't jo? Why? Yeah? Exactly, He
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: repeatedly said, Man, I need an ambulance. He finally ended
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: the show. Uh. Now I gotta ask you guys. Okay,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: we heard two near miss stories right now, one from
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Rick Ross and then now this one from Mystical. Have
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: you guys ever fell when you weren't looking? What were
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: you doing? And what happened? Oh? I fell about a
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: month ago down my steph Russian pants got caught on
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: the step and got turned around and fell, And I
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: knew it was gonna hurt because I was at the
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: same level of the dough handle and right when I
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: hit that flow hit my head. I immediately had to
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: put a hat out. While ya saw me with a
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: hat out, I had not God, yeah you're okay. Now
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I'm good, but you're tripper. You came to work and yeah,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: I own my way. Because he couldn't tell y'all that
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: y'all have been cracking jokes out there saw this. He
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: wouldn't be He knows we would take that hat out here,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: take that out let, y'all not breathe boy, what happened
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: to you, nephew? I fell off a stage in college.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Oh yeah. We was doing Shakespeare, doing Shakespeare show and
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: it was it was pitch black and the professor was
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: a professor is Cussin saying, where is Thomas Miles? I
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: have completely missed my que But it is the deal
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: in this theater, it's called Rutter Auditory. There's bats in
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: the theater, real bats, so and we have been hearing
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: these stories by the bats in the theater. So I'm
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: standing back there. I'm going to make my entrance. But
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: I lied to you not there is a bat coming
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: straight at me, but we are in the dark. I
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: didn't slipped and filled my butt off the stage six
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: feet down, trying to get away from the back, trying
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: to get away from the back. Unfortunately I didn't break nothing,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: and man, fortunately, yeah, fortunately, you know, but look at him.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: The professor didn't know what was gonna Damn it. Where
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: it's Thomas smiles. Y'all already know me. I'm um, you
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: know my timper quick, I said, damn it, I'm on
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: the floor. Hell A bat came at me and I
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: fell off the damn stay. I had to kiss the professor.

- 1:15:36Speaker 1: My heart breaks for everyone who lost someone. I know
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: how everyone rallies around one another during their time of grief.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: I love how they do that. But our nation should
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: not keep putting ourselves through these preventable traumas. Let's fix

- 1:17:08Speaker 1: that Antonia wants to wear is they don't make it
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: no more. You know, it had made it since two
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: thousand left and it could not be recertified for two
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: thousand and nineteen. So the helmet ain't here now you now,

- 1:17:31Speaker 1: What if he signed a release for him, you know,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: like if if something happened to you you came, he
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: could sign the release foreign time. But they don't make
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: the helmet. They're not gonna give it to him. The
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: helmet don't even get made no more. But I'm with
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: you the one he had. Yeah, I'm with you, Junior.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Don't let then't make this about the helmet I played

- 1:17:55Speaker 1: will not hit my head. I promise you won't give
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: me the one day. What's the first one they wont
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: the one on the side with no face? Man leve
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: helmet that he put that on. Put thirty minute lead,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: get me that. I swear I'm leading head first thirty million,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: and quit talking like he gonna quit. I'm not gonna play.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: He threatened not to play, Junior. Did Junior, did you
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: hear about the grievance yesterday? Did you hear? Yeah, I
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: heard about grievance. I'm just sitting there shaking my head.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: It's you're making thirty meets. I'm shaking my head while
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: you're telling the story right now. Why in the hell
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: is you're not playing well. His grievance was denied. Yeah,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: they told him no, they told him no. You what,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: there's other people that didn't get the helmet that they
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: wanted the one. He didn't get that one. But he
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: was went out there and played h yeah yeah, come
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: on yeah yeah, crazy man. Now you're doing too much.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Now now you got you wanted out to steal as
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: you're out. Now you want to make about the helm.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: You're definitely not saying a good example. That's the show. No, no, no,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: you're not doing that. Man, what's gonna play? He won't
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: have to it, he just is he just drawing attention
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: to this? Is it? I think it's for attention. Send
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: up crying about a helmet, ming over what your mama.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: I'll go out there and put Tommy's hat on. Tommy
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: hat out there. Temmy's got a real nice for door
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: right there. It doesn't look anything like a helmet, but
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: I wear that. I can play in that hat. And
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: you're not gonna hit me for thirty met this, Tommy.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: I'll tell you right now, I wear a construction hat.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Give me, give me something. Junior Antonio Brown is he
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: the league's greatest wide receiver. Is he he's up there?
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: I mean it's Julio Jones. I think um, I think
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Antonio Brown's one either one. All right, so coming up
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: our last break of the day and we'll go around
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: the table and find out what we learned today in
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: honor of Jay Anthony Brown. I love you, Jake right
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: up to this, coming up at forty nine after you're
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: listening to show. All right, here we are, last break
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: of the day. Uh, it was a good day Hunters Tuesday. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: it's really really good. Yeah. We have fun on this day.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Learned a lot. We learned a lot. So we're gonna
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: take over to pick up from u our family member,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Joy Anthony Brown. What did you learn today? We'll roll
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: around the room and we're gonna start with you. Boy,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Can we start with you today? Yeah? Man, find out
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: that the man in destroyery letter is stupid. I really
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: learned that to day. That they are actually he's not
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: by himself. They are are some men that really feel
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: like that. How could you say women are just totally useless?
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: What mad? I really got mad? Yeah, yeah, no, I
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: really got mad at that today. Man. I learned that today.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: I really did these guys ugly women. Man, I wouldn't
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: even be in. But you don't put women down just
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: because they're confident in themselves. You don't do that. You
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: don't do that, and then you go and boast about
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: how you got it going on. But you don't like
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: for women to do that. Yeah, that's why the last word,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: because she was controlling and your ASTI two hours later.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: That's what I learned. Yeah, Carla farl learned a couple
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: of things. The first thing I learned, well, I was
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: just reminded of this. I already knew this, but Simone Viles, Yeah, gymnasts,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: she is the goat greatest of all time. So just
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: reminding people about that black girl magic. I love, love
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: love watching her tumble. She's a beast. She is the beast.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: And any other thing I learned is about Rihanna shopping.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: She's just like us because I love her so much,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: so much. She's grocery shop, pushed her grocery card just
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: like the rest of us. Stars like us. I love it.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: So that's what I learned today during entertainment news on
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right, Um, well, you know
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: I'm not into sports that much, you know, but this guy, um,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: this guy Antonio Brown is that his name? All right?
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: To have this fight with with his team and the
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: NFL about this helmet that he wants to wear and
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: he's making all this money. I mean, like I said,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I'm not into it. Yeah, but but come on now,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: you have to learn in life to pick your battles.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: You have to pick your battles. This is not one
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: of those battles, uh, that that you should be involved in. Okay,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: put a helmet on, get out there and play and
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: get your money, all right, and and and build a
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: legacy for for your family and stuff like that, and
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: for for future football players and stuff like that. Don't
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: do this, Okay, don't do this. Well, let me let
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: me pig that though, sir. Get you an astronaut helmet.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. You don't need to see. Yeah,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: you know, can you put that that you could breathe
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: in it? Yeah? You know what I mean? You could
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: play football here are on the moon, you know, get
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: your helm. But that that that they're gonna clear, you know,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: clear astronaut him. Yeah, you'll be fine. And the other
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: thing we got to talk about Rick Ross too. I mean,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: you know when we were kids. We always found we
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: always learned when you cross the street, look both ways
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: before you cross the even if your shirt is over. Yeah,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: and when you're in New York City, look both ways
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: in the bike lane. You gotta do that. I know
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: you're Rick Ross, I know you're the boss. I got
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: all of that, But you guys to still look both
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: ways because I could have been ugly if he had
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: been hit. You know, he eve been fine that bike.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: Didn't want to hurt. Yeah, but the bike is actually
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: coming faster than some of the calls. Yeah, yeah, those
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: guys are serious. Yeah, the guys are flying man, especially
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: the messengers, you know, yeah, the carriers. I like how
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: the service, right. I like how the biker you know,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: had quick reflexes and was able to swerve and miss them,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: you know, because that could have been crazy right there.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: But anyway, he got mad though, Yeah, yeah he was mad.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Did he know who he was cousining that? Did he know?
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: I don't think New York they can, yeah, I don't
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: even Yeah, you didn't give you in the bike lane
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: look both ways in New York? Can I say something
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: about Antonio Brown? You gotta tell us what you've learned today?
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: That's what it is, Antonio Brown. Yeah, I've learned that.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: You know, when you blessed to make this count of money, Yes,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: when you blessed to make thirty something plus. And it's
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: gonna tell her how many millions Antonio Brown has made
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: thus far. And you are you are role model, whether
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: you want to be one or not. But you can't
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: you can't be a leader of your team, which he
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: is a leader now of the of the Open Raiders. Okay,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: you really big, right, you are a leader man, So
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: you can't be older. You can't be over there pouting
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: and putting your lip out about your helmet when it's
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: just proper protocol. It's the way things are in the NFL.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: You think this this this uh, this particular helmet is outdated.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: We're not using it anymore. And all of this is
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: for your safety. Yes, yes, you know. I get it
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: when people like uh, Michael Jordan, you got to have
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: a number twenty three, Kobe Bryant got to have this number.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: You know what I mean? I get the number thing.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: It's a jersey. Yeah, that can change, that can interchange
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: at any time. We're talking about the safety. We're talking
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: about You're not getting a concussion. Brother. Yeah, so that
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: bothers me that you are when you're not taking advantage
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: of your city. And now you sit over here saying
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: you're not gonna play and even probably tell me taking
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: it for granted a little bit as I'm trying. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: that's what I mean. Don't do that. That's why I
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: say pick your battle, definitely picking about Is this the
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: same guy that was had frostbite on his feet? Him?
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: Same guy? Yeah? Yeah, purpose, Well no I know that
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: who who? I hope not. You go on one of
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: those cryogenic therapy things and he didn't have on shoes
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: right and his feet propertear? Is he change his shoe?
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: I'll bet you wheel Now, I'm sure he's going to play.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he's gonna play. He's gonna play. So you
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: think it's all about attention. He's trying to getting starner
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: attention before the game. All right, Okay, we learned a
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: lot today. Leave a good example for your keys to
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: say you got a legacy. Come on now, all right, guys,
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you so much for joining us.
