- 0:15Speaker 1: million buck things in the stuffings and not through good
- 0:24Speaker 1: to mother for Please, I don't join jo. You got
- 1:01Speaker 1: turning you go. You gotta turn to turn out, turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn out the turn, turn water to
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Go. Come come on your thing. Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. I come on, and everybody you are
- 2:06Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
- 2:09Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man, got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Do you understand that? I'm telling you? God been big
- 2:17Speaker 1: in my life. God, God is a gentleman, you know.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I want to I want to point that out to you.
- 2:23Speaker 1: God is an absolute gentleman. He will not come in
- 2:28Speaker 1: unless he's invited. He don't just barge into your life.
- 2:34Speaker 1: He gives us the power of choice. You know. If
- 2:38Speaker 1: you say you got it, I don't need you, He
- 2:40Speaker 1: let you have it. If you say I need you,
- 2:43Speaker 1: come see about me. He right there. It's just a
- 2:47Speaker 1: real simple thing. Man. So always say to people this,
- 2:52Speaker 1: if you've gotten yourself into something, and please know I
- 2:56Speaker 1: have I man see that. That's why I'm so adamant
- 3:02Speaker 1: about it because I've gotten myself in some circumstances and
- 3:06Speaker 1: positions in my life. But I've been I've had some
- 3:10Speaker 1: low moments, man, I've had some moments where I did
- 3:13Speaker 1: not know what to do. I didn't know what was next,
- 3:19Speaker 1: I didn't know how to go about it. I didn't
- 3:22Speaker 1: have no more ideas. I was stuck. I thought a
- 3:27Speaker 1: couple of times, well, might not make it past this one.
- 3:34Speaker 1: But then if I don't make it past it, what's
- 3:36Speaker 1: gonna happen? And then I held on to this little
- 3:39Speaker 1: thing that my mother kept talking to me about. She said,
- 3:42Speaker 1: sometimes when you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope,
- 3:47Speaker 1: she said, just hope it'll be all right, you know.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And what I've learned in my life is that hope.
- 3:53Speaker 1: It's the beginning of faith. Hope. It's just is there
- 3:58Speaker 1: a possibility out there for me? I sure hope something happened?
- 4:05Speaker 1: See hope, Hope it's okay, man, Because like I said,
- 4:10Speaker 1: for me, the way I've lived my life, hope was
- 4:12Speaker 1: the beginning of faith. It was just the idea. It's
- 4:16Speaker 1: just the thought that something could change from me, that
- 4:19Speaker 1: something could be a little bit different from me, that
- 4:22Speaker 1: maybe man, just maybe for some reason, I could be saved.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I could be rescued. Things could turn around, it could
- 4:34Speaker 1: head any other direction. Maybe I could quit messing up.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Maybe somebody will forgive me. Maybe somebody will just say
- 4:44Speaker 1: all right. I don't know, but I can't count the
- 4:47Speaker 1: times I've been in that position. But then once I
- 4:52Speaker 1: hope a little bit, and then I remember. Also my mother,
- 4:54Speaker 1: because she was a Sunday school teacher, she taught me
- 4:58Speaker 1: the most valuable lesson I've ever learned earned in my life.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Nothing has been greater in my life than my faith.
- 5:04Speaker 1: She taught me to pray. Mamma used to say, when
- 5:08Speaker 1: you get real dog for your son, prad changes things.
- 5:13Speaker 1: She said, when you seem like you lost and you
- 5:16Speaker 1: can't finding your way, stop and pray, she said, because
- 5:21Speaker 1: prayd changes things. You know, when you get a point
- 5:24Speaker 1: in your life when you've done all you can do
- 5:26Speaker 1: and you can't do no more and you just don't
- 5:28Speaker 1: know what to do next, she says, stop, so pray
- 5:34Speaker 1: and combine that prayer with that hope that you got,
- 5:39Speaker 1: she said, because that hope is the beginning of faith.
- 5:43Speaker 1: She said. If you pray just hoping, she's saying that
- 5:47Speaker 1: God come through for you. That will give you confidence
- 5:50Speaker 1: that he can do it again. And then after a while,
- 5:53Speaker 1: you quit hoping, She's saying, you start believing. She saying,
- 5:58Speaker 1: that's when you're on to something. If you can turn
- 6:02Speaker 1: that hope into belief, that hope into faith's that that's
- 6:12Speaker 1: the ability to believe in something that you can't see.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But the key though the faith is you're believing in
- 6:20Speaker 1: something that you can't see see hoping a little bit
- 6:24Speaker 1: different from me now, I'm pretty sure, like I say,
- 6:26Speaker 1: oftentimes to tell a lot of people who can explain
- 6:28Speaker 1: this thing a lot better than I can to you hope.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It's just kind of I don't know how to I
- 6:33Speaker 1: don't know how to say it. But I'm just telling
- 6:35Speaker 1: you hope. You're just hoping it work out right. You
- 6:38Speaker 1: just have a thought in your mind that you know, man,
- 6:42Speaker 1: whoever you are, or whoever you are, whatever you are,
- 6:45Speaker 1: to me, God, I show hope something change. Hope helps. Man.
- 6:51Speaker 1: If you ain't strong enough to have faith, have hope, hope,
- 6:57Speaker 1: and then if you pray with some hope and God
- 7:01Speaker 1: answers your prayer, then that hope gains a little confidence.
- 7:07Speaker 1: And after a while that confidence becomes faith. Now they're
- 7:14Speaker 1: just hoping, but I'm believing. I'm believing in something that
- 7:18Speaker 1: I cannot see. Faith has been the key to my
- 7:25Speaker 1: entire existence, even when I didn't have any It was faith,
- 7:32Speaker 1: as I look back on it, that has gotten me here,
- 7:38Speaker 1: and not just faith, but my faith. See, you will
- 7:44Speaker 1: only get to where you're going in your life based
- 7:47Speaker 1: on your faith. See. A lot of people get the
- 7:53Speaker 1: word faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they
- 7:56Speaker 1: started going down this whole list of all these different
- 7:59Speaker 1: religions out here. But really an essence, man, when I
- 8:03Speaker 1: talk to people about faith, I'm talking to you about
- 8:06Speaker 1: your your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen? See?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Faith is the core of all that is happening to
- 8:20Speaker 1: me today. It is the faith that I have in
- 8:24Speaker 1: my relationship with God that enables me to just oftentimes,
- 8:30Speaker 1: if I stay on the right course and believe a
- 8:33Speaker 1: certain way and act a certain way, his blessings just poor.
- 8:39Speaker 1: They just come. And it comes in a lot of
- 8:43Speaker 1: little ways too. I've started to notice. See it ain't
- 8:46Speaker 1: just a lot of people think blessings is money and
- 8:49Speaker 1: now man, that ain't it. It's coverage. It's every time
- 8:53Speaker 1: my plane lands safe. It's every time they predict bad
- 8:58Speaker 1: weather and I get up in the sky and it
- 9:00Speaker 1: don't be no bad weather. You know, this is this
- 9:04Speaker 1: is favor. These are blessings that get poured out to me.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Somebody call me and offer me something, not money, but
- 9:12Speaker 1: an opportunity. See, blessings come a lot of ways. But
- 9:18Speaker 1: once you tie into God, once you tie in and
- 9:23Speaker 1: you start doing the best you can do, and you
- 9:25Speaker 1: start asking for Him to make you a better person,
- 9:29Speaker 1: to help shape and mold you into the kind of
- 9:32Speaker 1: man or person that he wants you to be. You
- 9:35Speaker 1: be amazed what God can do with you. Man, if
- 9:38Speaker 1: you just invite me in and allow him to be
- 9:41Speaker 1: a part of your life. I mean, what you got
- 9:43Speaker 1: to lose out there? Come on? Why why would you
- 9:46Speaker 1: not change? Why would you not allow God to be
- 9:49Speaker 1: a part of your life? God got some big plans
- 9:52Speaker 1: for you. If he didn't, you wouldn't keep waking up.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to ladies and gentlemen, prepare yourself for the
- 10:04Speaker 1: awakening of a new day. We are here. God blessed us,
- 10:08Speaker 1: Lord her mercy, and we all to be grateful. I
- 10:10Speaker 1: know I am thank you God for a new day
- 10:13Speaker 1: and a new opportunity. It's a new chance to get
- 10:15Speaker 1: it right, one step closer to the goal. Oh man,
- 10:20Speaker 1: feel good about that. Ladies and gentlemen, this is about
- 10:22Speaker 1: to go down today. I don't know, I don't I
- 10:25Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you, but it's about to
- 10:30Speaker 1: go down. Only Steve arpen Martin show, Charley Strawberry calling
- 10:35Speaker 1: for real Mouth of the South, Junior, and ain't nobody
- 10:38Speaker 1: left but me? We might as well gonna get the started.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Junior's on your mind? Man, all right, let me ask
- 10:45Speaker 1: this U. Let me ask you something. You know, you
- 10:47Speaker 1: do a lot of business with a lot of people.
- 10:50Speaker 1: What makes a good business partner? Like? How what makes
- 10:54Speaker 1: it a good business partner? Yeah? I had that a
- 10:57Speaker 1: lot of bad ones. I'll tell you that he did.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Or I've had my share very very bad ones. Um
- 11:07Speaker 1: I think of you know, I mean, of course, what
- 11:09Speaker 1: makes a good partner is, first of all, you want
- 11:13Speaker 1: to find someone who is like minded, who has the
- 11:18Speaker 1: same goals and ambitions as you, that you can merge
- 11:23Speaker 1: into the same vision and goal. But right next to
- 11:29Speaker 1: that and equally is important even if they don't have
- 11:32Speaker 1: the exact same vision and goal. You gotta find somebody
- 11:36Speaker 1: that's honest and trustworthy that that right there will come
- 11:41Speaker 1: and get you more than anything. See, I could I
- 11:44Speaker 1: can deal really with a person that don't share all
- 11:47Speaker 1: my visions, because who is that gonna be? Right? You know,
- 11:51Speaker 1: you don't find somebody that's gonna share all your visions.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I mean it would be ideal because ultimately we all
- 12:00Speaker 1: start out on venturous for ourselves. That's how we all start.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I mean, of course, you know you want to make
- 12:07Speaker 1: a better life for yourself, better life for your family.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Then you meet somebody you're talking about partnering with, well,
- 12:13Speaker 1: you know you still want to take care of you
- 12:15Speaker 1: and yours right so that you have to understand that
- 12:21Speaker 1: part and everybody will make their decisions based on you
- 12:25Speaker 1: and yours. So hopefully that you and yours decision making
- 12:30Speaker 1: benefits both sides. That can come a time where will
- 12:34Speaker 1: it will not and the partner that you thought you
- 12:39Speaker 1: have will become disloyal and then and then you have
- 12:44Speaker 1: a problem, brother, And then you haven't because there hasn't
- 12:50Speaker 1: come a day of awakening when you realize that this
- 12:53Speaker 1: partner right here is no longer loyal to you, and
- 12:57Speaker 1: one of them taught me a very famous slogan that
- 13:00Speaker 1: I use now, Loyalty has an expiration date, which means you,
- 13:05Speaker 1: as a loyal person, sometimes are loyal to people far
- 13:09Speaker 1: longer than they are loyal to you. They're loyal to
- 13:12Speaker 1: you has been stopped. That's a hard one to understand,
- 13:17Speaker 1: and so your loyalty to them shouldn't continue. So loyalty,
- 13:23Speaker 1: trustworthiness and like mindedness are the two things for great
- 13:27Speaker 1: business partner. Man Steve Harbrun show man, all right, all right,
- 13:33Speaker 1: there we go. Got a junior. Yeah, all right, coming
- 13:38Speaker 1: up in thirty two minutes after the hour. We'll run
- 13:41Speaker 1: that frank back right after this. You're listening to show
- 13:47Speaker 1: It is time now to start your morning off with
- 13:50Speaker 1: Junior and for the nephew to run that frank back.
- 13:53Speaker 1: What you got for is this morning, Junior. I'm not
- 13:55Speaker 1: gonna waste no time. My bones a week, oh my, oh,
- 14:01Speaker 1: come on back. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to uh, I'm

- 15:28Speaker 1: with Kendra. Man, and um, she was just telling me
- 15:30Speaker 1: how successful man, how nice it was, and you know,
- 15:33Speaker 1: laid out baby shower. I wasn't able to make it. Man,
- 15:35Speaker 1: I've been a little under the weather, bro, you know,
- 15:37Speaker 1: and uh, you know, with with God's help, man, I'll
- 15:39Speaker 1: be able to get back on my feet. You know
- 15:40Speaker 1: what I'm saying. That's all right? Hey man, I just
- 15:43Speaker 1: you know, congratulations again, man. You know, a beautiful baby girl.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I man, that's a beautiful thing. Yeah, thank you, thank you. Um,
- 15:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, bro to her. I just I can't foldy.

- 16:03Speaker 1: no no, no, my bad man. I'm sorry, job nah
- 16:05Speaker 1: me and you we haven't we haven't met at all. Um.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Like I said, you know, my wife knows Kendrill and
- 16:11Speaker 1: they hang out and uh, I guess she's She's dabbled
- 16:14Speaker 1: a couple of times and been around. You know, your
- 16:16Speaker 1: wife is uh, your wife is Maryland, right, Yeah, that's
- 16:20Speaker 1: no wife, Okay, Yeah, I guess she's been been in
- 16:23Speaker 1: the presence of Maryland. Man. So you know, you know,
- 16:26Speaker 1: I kind of got your number from uh, from my wife,
- 16:29Speaker 1: man um, and she got it from Kendrell. So I
- 16:32Speaker 1: kind of wanted to holl at you, you know, which
- 16:34Speaker 1: you weren't hed of me, actually, man, Like I said, Man,
- 16:38Speaker 1: I've been I've been down for a minute, you know,
- 16:40Speaker 1: and U I uh actually you know, came from doctor
- 16:46Speaker 1: yesterday and and my my bones, man, they my bones
- 16:52Speaker 1: are deteriorating. You know, that's kind of what I'm what
- 16:55Speaker 1: I've been going through, man um. And if I don't
- 17:00Speaker 1: uh get the proper medication that I need man the week,
- 17:05Speaker 1: you know it within the next three months here do it,
- 17:09Speaker 1: it could get pretty bad. You know what I'm saying. Well, Man,
- 17:14Speaker 1: I'm sorry to hear that, bro Um. It's you know,
- 17:17Speaker 1: all I can do is man. And you know, well, Man,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I the doctor told me that, bron the doctor told
- 17:30Speaker 1: me Man that you know, if I get the right medication, man,
- 17:35Speaker 1: that you know, I could get back up to seventy
- 17:39Speaker 1: healthy again. You know what I'm saying. So you know,
- 17:43Speaker 1: it's just a rare type of thing that I need
- 17:46Speaker 1: to try and get and I think that you might
- 17:50Speaker 1: be I think you can help me be strong. Man,
- 17:53Speaker 1: be strong, just man, sit down, man strong. It's gonna
- 17:58Speaker 1: be all right. But I think it's gonna be all right.
- 18:00Speaker 1: God is with you. I pray for you. I do
- 18:03Speaker 1: all I can. You know, I don't know well actually actually,
- 18:07Speaker 1: uh the doctor told me, man that for six months,
- 18:10Speaker 1: if I drunk breast milk, it will it would it
- 18:13Speaker 1: would put enough calseum and stuff back into my bones
- 18:17Speaker 1: that would get me back up to seventy to eighty
- 18:20Speaker 1: five percent healthy breast. Yeah, I ain't got no breasts.
- 18:25Speaker 1: You know, it's not it's not you Ron you you
- 18:29Speaker 1: don't you know, but you know your your wife does. Thought. Whoa,
- 18:35Speaker 1: you're talking about my wife's breast. Man. I'm not not directly, man,
- 18:40Speaker 1: I'm just saying that chickens, you know. I mean, if
- 18:43Speaker 1: I had her breast milk for like six months straight, man,
- 18:47Speaker 1: I could get back hold again. Man. Oh, come, you'll
- 18:50Speaker 1: talk about a man's wife or her breast now. I gotta,
- 18:53Speaker 1: I just gotta. I'm just just all, I'm my breast milk. Man. Man,
- 18:59Speaker 1: I'm just asking y'all to share it. For six were

- 19:32Speaker 1: of y'all would have had twins. Man, y'all would have
- 19:34Speaker 1: been prest seeding two babies. Just look at it as
- 19:37Speaker 1: if we're twins. The man, I'm getting them up this
- 19:40Speaker 1: phone because I don't know who you are. You need
- 19:43Speaker 1: to chill, man, you need to go get on your knees,

- 19:49Speaker 1: the wrong number. Man, Listen. Man, all I'm saying is

- 21:35Speaker 1: who's been knocking it out of the park lately. It
- 21:38Speaker 1: is time for ask the CLO. Kaden Ocean Spring says,
- 21:43Speaker 1: I'm a recent college graduate and I want to follow
- 21:46Speaker 1: my boyfriend to another city and get a job there.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I will be living with him temporarily, and that's freaking
- 21:52Speaker 1: my parents out. We dated all through college and basically
- 21:56Speaker 1: lived together then, So why is it a big problem now?
- 21:59Speaker 1: Why are my parents so old fashioned? I mean, I
- 22:03Speaker 1: don't understand why y'all keep calling doing the right thing
- 22:07Speaker 1: old fashioned. They're concerned that you're gonna allow your boyfriend
- 22:15Speaker 1: to get the milk without buying the cow. When you
- 22:21Speaker 1: move in together, it's very, very different. See now, what
- 22:27Speaker 1: you're saying to your boyfriend when you move in is
- 22:31Speaker 1: you can have me and all of this that comes
- 22:33Speaker 1: with it, and then one day I hope you married me.
- 22:40Speaker 1: But there what's gonna be the rush because you're at
- 22:42Speaker 1: the house already, you're doing all the wifely duties. I
- 22:45Speaker 1: just you know, it's not that parents are old fashioned,
- 22:48Speaker 1: is that they care that they know the outcome of
- 22:51Speaker 1: a lot of situations that you've never even seen before.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about that? So, young people, do
- 22:58Speaker 1: yourself a favor. Quit telling old people that they old fashioned,
- 23:02Speaker 1: because old fashioned works in a whole lot of circumstances.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Just because y'all found a new way to mess it up,
- 23:08Speaker 1: don't mean that the old way it ain't gonna Because
- 23:13Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, the new way is not
- 23:16Speaker 1: really working that well. If you look at divorce rates
- 23:19Speaker 1: and all of that, it's not working that well, especially
- 23:23Speaker 1: for women. So I think a lot of it's concerned
- 23:27Speaker 1: on your parents' party. It's not being old fashioned. Yeah,
- 23:32Speaker 1: city cy, that's right. You're gonna move to another city
- 23:36Speaker 1: and live with a boy that won't even ask you
- 23:40Speaker 1: to marry him. Y'all all that tight jam and can't
- 23:43Speaker 1: live without each other, then go on and get married.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Your parents would be a little bit more understanding if
- 23:48Speaker 1: he was willing to make a commitment. And then, of
- 23:50Speaker 1: course you're not gonna make the commitment because he got
- 23:53Speaker 1: to get his money right, And that's what he told you.
- 23:56Speaker 1: When we get it together, we'll get married. And you've
- 23:59Speaker 1: accepted that. Yeah, mothers tell their daughters don't follow boyfriends
- 24:04Speaker 1: to follow. Huh m, that's right, followed that? All right,
- 24:14Speaker 1: here we go. Sharon in Baltimore says, I had a favor.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Excuse me. You know, ladies, y'a all so good at
- 24:23Speaker 1: following it. Men start getting good at following advice. M
- 24:29Speaker 1: you know she's so good at following men, Just start
- 24:33Speaker 1: getting good at following advice. Listen, it won't hurt to listen. Yes,
- 24:40Speaker 1: all right, sure, all right. Sharon and Baltimore had an affair.
- 24:44Speaker 1: She said, I had an affair with my next door
- 24:46Speaker 1: neighbor three years ago, and he's held it against me
- 24:49Speaker 1: for three years. I'm dating this great new guy, and
- 24:52Speaker 1: I'm scared to invite him over. How do I stop
- 24:55Speaker 1: my married neighbor from harassing me? Should I tell his wife?
- 24:59Speaker 1: M Oh wow, this is a harassment that you could
- 25:05Speaker 1: stop very easily. Okay, well, listen to me. Call me
- 25:13Speaker 1: one more time, and I'm gonna call your wife. Yeah.
- 25:19Speaker 1: And what you should do? I think you should move.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Unless you're a homeowner, I think you should move. You
- 25:29Speaker 1: made a mistake. You slept with this woman's husband. He
- 25:33Speaker 1: lives next door now, unless you are Unless you're a homeowner.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I'd move because you I think you need a fresh start.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Pulling up next to hearing this all the time. Yeah yeah,
- 25:52Speaker 1: all right, all right. Moving on to Tequila and Arlington,
- 25:56Speaker 1: Tequila writes, I'm dating a man that is brutally honest,
- 25:59Speaker 1: and he told me that he had better sexual partners
- 26:01Speaker 1: than me. I told him I've had bigger sexual partners
- 26:05Speaker 1: than him. We argued all night and he can dish
- 26:07Speaker 1: it out, but he can't take it. Is our relationship dune.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, you ain't doing it right. And
- 26:19Speaker 1: he's small, so yeah, yeah, why are we here and
- 26:26Speaker 1: y'all set up all night about that way better sexual
- 26:33Speaker 1: partner I had bigger than you? That shutt it b Yeah,
- 26:41Speaker 1: I can get better. You can't get bigger. What who
- 26:48Speaker 1: y'are with? How you saying I can get better? You
- 26:54Speaker 1: can't get bigger. That's at it down right there? All right,
- 27:04Speaker 1: all right, Tequila and Arlington, thank you. Moving on this
- 27:08Speaker 1: our last one, Steve Nisi and Saint Pete says, my
- 27:11Speaker 1: two aunts stayed with me over the weekend, and my
- 27:14Speaker 1: husband could breakfast daily and he put some meat on
- 27:17Speaker 1: the grill for them on Sunday. One of my aunt's
- 27:20Speaker 1: comments that he is henpecked and it didn't sit well
- 27:23Speaker 1: with him. He was disrespectful to her, and I'm so embarrassed.
- 27:28Speaker 1: How do I smooth things over? No? See, your aunt
- 27:32Speaker 1: got to get out your house, and your aunt need
- 27:35Speaker 1: to quit talking to your husband. He was disrespect call
- 27:38Speaker 1: you don't disrespect him in his house. He shouldn't have
- 27:41Speaker 1: trying to be kindy y'all fixing the purpose and some
- 27:44Speaker 1: food all grill. He hen pecked you old bitter loss healthy.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I bet that's what they say, you old bitter, lost, healthful,
- 28:00Speaker 1: trying to help your old antique ass enjoy your little
- 28:04Speaker 1: ragged ass in life. And then you're sitting up being
- 28:06Speaker 1: and tell mart, I'm hearing pet? And what so? How
- 28:11Speaker 1: does the wife smooth all this over? And they're no
- 28:14Speaker 1: smoothing it over? It's checking your arm. You gotta side
- 28:17Speaker 1: with your husband, right. And then in y'all's house, she
- 28:22Speaker 1: ain't got no business saying nothing to this man. He
- 28:26Speaker 1: hearing pet because he cooking breakfast, because you ain't never
- 28:29Speaker 1: had a man fix you no damn breakfast. I'm service
- 28:33Speaker 1: you now, he hid pet? Why don't you being nice
- 28:38Speaker 1: or being hospitable? You know, she don't know what nice
- 28:42Speaker 1: and hospitable is because she ain't never seen it. Now
- 28:45Speaker 1: he hearing pet because he hadn't here fixing breakfast and stuff.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Don't know man, fix no woman, no breakfast. Wow, right there, stupid.
- 28:55Speaker 1: That's why y'all's had time to be over there, because
- 28:57Speaker 1: it ain't Both of them is free and nothing going
- 29:01Speaker 1: on in their lives. Yeah, you got to aunten to
- 29:04Speaker 1: tell you how your relationship are to being I promise
- 29:07Speaker 1: you she ain't got one coming on. They're messing things up,
- 29:11Speaker 1: all right, Thank you, Ciello. Coming up at the top
- 29:14Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news for you.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Dave Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 29:23Speaker 1: our favorite social media vegan superstar, Tabitha Brown's new cooking show,
- 29:28Speaker 1: It's Compliplated, gets pulled from her primetime slot and move
- 29:34Speaker 1: back to a weekday afternoon slot on the Food Network.
- 29:38Speaker 1: We all know that Tabitha has found success as an actress,
- 29:41Speaker 1: as a vegan food influencer, best selling author, and of
- 29:45Speaker 1: course a fashion designer. Well, take a listen. It's Tabitha
- 29:48Speaker 1: talked about those who are critical lover Hello, the yellow
- 29:52Speaker 1: right real quick. I know I've said this so many
- 29:57Speaker 1: times before, but for whatever reason, people just don't seem
- 30:02Speaker 1: to believe me. Okay, there is not a company, there
- 30:08Speaker 1: is not a network, There is not a person, place,
- 30:14Speaker 1: or thing that it's going to change who I am.
- 30:18Speaker 1: If you don't like tab as this tab, if you
- 30:22Speaker 1: don't like the tab who gives God glory? If you
- 30:25Speaker 1: don't like the vegan tab, if you don't like the
- 30:28Speaker 1: cooking tab, the mama tab, if you don't like my personality,
- 30:32Speaker 1: if you don't like everything that makes tab tab, don't
- 30:36Speaker 1: work with me because I'm not going to change. I'm
- 30:39Speaker 1: not going to shift a little bit for your audience.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I'm not going to talk a little bit different for
- 30:45Speaker 1: your comfort. I'm not going to change this person I am.
- 30:50Speaker 1: This is who God created me to be. And if
- 30:53Speaker 1: it ain't enough for you, then you're not for me.
- 30:56Speaker 1: And if I bring it to your attention that wait,
- 30:59Speaker 1: I don't like how this feels. Um, I feel like
- 31:02Speaker 1: you're trying to change me or erase my personality or
- 31:07Speaker 1: my culture, and you get upset by that instead of
- 31:11Speaker 1: hearing me from my heart. Um, I also don't want
- 31:15Speaker 1: to be in business with you. Does that make sense.
- 31:19Speaker 1: It ain't personal for you, but it's personal for me,
- 31:23Speaker 1: and it's business. Everybody clear, Well, this relationship will be
- 31:28Speaker 1: coming to an end shortly. Yeah, yeah, it's very confident woman.
- 31:34Speaker 1: But I do understand exactly where she's coming from because
- 31:38Speaker 1: I've been faced with that same meeting with them before
- 31:43Speaker 1: and so and in radio I remember and radio yeah,
- 31:49Speaker 1: change change me. I know you need to wait, you
- 31:53Speaker 1: need to articulate your words are. First of all, I
- 31:57Speaker 1: don't even know what you're talking about. Don not not.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I don't know what. I don't know what he was
- 32:06Speaker 1: talking to me about. It fault because I clearly didn't
- 32:10Speaker 1: even boy man in two thousand they brought me in.
- 32:18Speaker 1: That's when they brought me. We got to bring in
- 32:22Speaker 1: a radio person to handle him. Wait, Steve, this is
- 32:29Speaker 1: what Steve. You're not giving time checks enough what You're
- 32:34Speaker 1: not telling them what time it is? You got time
- 32:38Speaker 1: for that. I'm talking, I'm doing radio. I'm why they
- 32:42Speaker 1: doing Then I ain't the clock. You gotta do that,
- 32:46Speaker 1: and then you got to do station ID checks when
- 32:49Speaker 1: you come in. Welcome back. It's ten forty five right
- 32:51Speaker 1: here to one hundred point three to beat Wait a minute, well,
- 32:55Speaker 1: you have to tell people where they are if they
- 32:58Speaker 1: can hear me, what station is their own? I ain't
- 33:05Speaker 1: even what do you want me to keep saying that phone?
- 33:08Speaker 1: If we own this station. If you ain't a one
- 33:11Speaker 1: hundred point three, you can't hear me say a one
- 33:12Speaker 1: hundred point three? So how did you stay true to yourself? Though?
- 33:17Speaker 1: That's the thing that's Tabitha? You know she still has
- 33:20Speaker 1: a show in streaming and all that. I just stayed.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I stayed look at me, look at me. You keep producing. See.
- 33:31Speaker 1: But here's a problem though, when you start having a
- 33:35Speaker 1: measure of success and you go into these meetings, everybody
- 33:40Speaker 1: in the meeting wants to put their hand on that
- 33:43Speaker 1: measure of success so they can feel a part of it.
- 33:46Speaker 1: So they start saying stuff to you so they can
- 33:50Speaker 1: say they were in the room and they reminded you
- 33:52Speaker 1: of this, or they got you to do that. But
- 33:55Speaker 1: you can't fall for that because he once I give
- 33:57Speaker 1: you the success you're looking for in terms of rating,
- 34:00Speaker 1: what is you in here talking about for? Can you
- 34:02Speaker 1: say this a little more clear? No? They like you
- 34:05Speaker 1: where I said it just did back there, So now
- 34:07Speaker 1: why is you in here talking to me about talking
- 34:09Speaker 1: about clear why but for what though? But I love
- 34:16Speaker 1: how she's standing her ground. She's going to be who
- 34:19Speaker 1: she is. She's very confident, you know, and she knows
- 34:22Speaker 1: who she is and she's comfortable in herself, and she
- 34:25Speaker 1: has an audience based on that. Yeah, you're trying to
- 34:31Speaker 1: make use somebody else. She gonna lose her bass, yes,
- 34:35Speaker 1: set target. Yeah, I never lost my bass, right. I
- 34:43Speaker 1: belonged to black people higher time. I never tried to
- 34:49Speaker 1: do nothing for they wasn't with me. I sound like
- 34:53Speaker 1: somebody else. And Steve Chang, why are you talking like that? No?
- 34:57Speaker 1: Hell no, it's how I talk. And when you send
- 35:01Speaker 1: people in there to change me, when over, I promise
- 35:05Speaker 1: you they'll be changed. And then they came to you
- 35:08Speaker 1: just by you being yourself. And that's remember that dude,
- 35:12Speaker 1: they hide out there. He gonna come in here and
- 35:14Speaker 1: tell me white dude. Now, these are the top black
- 35:18Speaker 1: songs of all time? What no earth winning fire? Now?
- 35:27Speaker 1: He had no earth winning follow hire top Black songs
- 35:33Speaker 1: of all time, didn't have no press on there to
- 35:37Speaker 1: Michael Jackson song You Almost Died, No Luther music. No,
- 35:42Speaker 1: they were beat it in black and white. Yeah, it's
- 35:44Speaker 1: not in the top three hundred. Luther no luthor. Yeah,
- 35:49Speaker 1: all right, we gotta roll out of Seve. Think you
- 35:52Speaker 1: made your point. Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Every Spears gets backlash over the Lizzo comments he made
- 36:00Speaker 1: us Aries versus Mike Epps. We'll talk about all of
- 36:02Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening, all right. So Lizzo
- 36:09Speaker 1: said Sunday night at the VMA's that she doesn't clap
- 36:12Speaker 1: back at her haters, she just wins. Lizza was probably yeah, yeah,
- 36:18Speaker 1: you know, you gotta yeah, give her props for that.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Lizzo was probably addressing comedian Ari Spears, who recently said
- 36:25Speaker 1: some disparaging remarks about her. During an interview, Ari said
- 36:29Speaker 1: that Lizzo had a body of the poop poo emoji,
- 36:32Speaker 1: but has plenty but has a pretty face. Of course,
- 36:35Speaker 1: Aries received some major backlash for body shaming Lizzo, and
- 36:39Speaker 1: he responded to that backlash with a video on the
- 36:43Speaker 1: Graham saying he knew it was coming and he did
- 36:45Speaker 1: not apologize for those comment. Comedian Mike Epps commented on
- 36:50Speaker 1: the story via the Shade Room. Uh. Mike Epp said,
- 36:53Speaker 1: he looks dirty and sick, and he's not been on
- 36:56Speaker 1: TV since Matt TV, and now Aries has responded to
- 37:00Speaker 1: like Epp saying, yeah, but people don't walk out of
- 37:02Speaker 1: my shows. Might want to turn down the volume on
- 37:05Speaker 1: those shiny suits jewelry and step your funny up. Oh wow,
- 37:10Speaker 1: not the comedian, all right, Steve Um. First of all,
- 37:17Speaker 1: I like Lizzo, Yeah, on the show for the first time.
- 37:23Speaker 1: She's a fan of the show. I didn't know too
- 37:27Speaker 1: much about her, but I was very much aware of
- 37:30Speaker 1: who she was. But I don't know too much about her. Um,
- 37:36Speaker 1: I don't you know when Arie made the statement, I
- 37:39Speaker 1: don't know where he thought this was gonna go, but
- 37:42Speaker 1: I could assure you it didn't go the way he
- 37:45Speaker 1: thought it was gonna go. And then to say I
- 37:48Speaker 1: stand by the statements, you apologize, That's not the most
- 37:55Speaker 1: intelligent way to do about it. Couldn't have just say hey,
- 37:57Speaker 1: I did a joking, bad taste. Mike Epps came to
- 38:02Speaker 1: her aid by making the statement he made. Um, and
- 38:08Speaker 1: now he's talking about people walking out of Mike elp shows. Um,
- 38:14Speaker 1: all of us have had bad nights, every single one
- 38:18Speaker 1: of us. I've had bad boy. Absolutely, I'm talking about
- 38:22Speaker 1: bad nights as a famous person, including Ari. I've I've
- 38:30Speaker 1: I've been on. I performed with him a few times before.
- 38:33Speaker 1: A good guy like Ari, but he's had bad nights.
- 38:38Speaker 1: I think Mike ELPs is dressing real pimp like and
- 38:41Speaker 1: I love it. Do it. It might as will be me,
- 38:50Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So I ain't mad at.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I don't know why you think a shot at the
- 38:55Speaker 1: shiny suits. H It's called pimp gilt, not for the
- 39:03Speaker 1: faint of heart. So there you have it. I really
- 39:08Speaker 1: love Mike. That's not a battle that ariy Spears can win.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Now leave Litze alone. We love not with her or Mike.
- 39:15Speaker 1: That's not a battle he can win. All right, thank you.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Steve coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 39:23Speaker 1: We'll check Steve's voicemail right after this. You're listening to show.
- 39:31Speaker 1: All right, guys, it is now time to check Steve's voicemail.
- 39:34Speaker 1: If you want to leave a voicemail for Steve, callum
- 39:36Speaker 1: eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve. This person is Lenna
- 39:41Speaker 1: as a lift driver as a response to Junior's latest poem,
- 39:46Speaker 1: Hello Steve's ladies, all of y'all, this is Lenn the
- 39:49Speaker 1: lift driver. I thought i'd give y'all a call. Now, First,
- 39:52Speaker 1: let me say I respect all your staff and Junior's youthful.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Now even tell you is always good for last. This morning,
- 39:59Speaker 1: I was moved by the please of Jay Rat and
- 40:02Speaker 1: felt his humble request denies was a budget craft as
- 40:06Speaker 1: the oldest even you dar see riding a bike the
- 40:09Speaker 1: good show. But Tommy, now he's digging, is unwilling to
- 40:14Speaker 1: multi task as we all know, and doing his job.
- 40:18Speaker 1: His junior humble, a bit scrawny and lighting the egg. Now,
- 40:23Speaker 1: if he don't deserve a raise, how about at least
- 40:26Speaker 1: a damn meal from chick from leg he h the
- 40:33Speaker 1: lift driver she is. We're not lending the middle of Hey,
- 40:43Speaker 1: you heard, did the lift driver for you? We don't
- 40:53Speaker 1: want you calling here no long trying to do the
- 40:56Speaker 1: poems that you do. This show has three comedians and
- 41:02Speaker 1: all of us are doing well. And for you to
- 41:05Speaker 1: come on here and try to suggest we don't need nothing.
- 41:08Speaker 1: You trying to tell to keep all your ragged ass
- 41:12Speaker 1: poems to your damn sell don't call here no more.
- 41:19Speaker 1: There's other radio shows called somebody else. All right, Moving
- 41:32Speaker 1: on to um. Remember we recently talked about the State
- 41:36Speaker 1: of Missouri putting corporal punishment and padding back in schools.
- 41:40Speaker 1: This is a caller about that. All right, this is Britney.
- 41:43Speaker 1: I am from one Row, Louisiana. UM. I was calling
- 41:47Speaker 1: because I just wanted to say I allow, I checked
- 41:50Speaker 1: the box to get my kids, my kids full permission
- 41:56Speaker 1: to cattle down. Because I feel that a lot of
- 42:01Speaker 1: times some of these kids have a awesome impression of
- 42:06Speaker 1: adults can't recommend them, and so I when when the
- 42:10Speaker 1: kids grow up adult, it's going to repommend them. And
- 42:14Speaker 1: so I just feel like if they're causing that school
- 42:16Speaker 1: enough trouble that they have to get paddled, then they
- 42:20Speaker 1: deserve it. And that's my thoughtful that by that's cool.
- 42:24Speaker 1: You want somebody in your baby, go ahead. It's too
- 42:27Speaker 1: many racists at school for me, Now what you mean
- 42:30Speaker 1: too many races? It's too many racists. There's too many teachers.
- 42:33Speaker 1: That's race racist racist. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, see, it's
- 42:39Speaker 1: just too many. It's too much integration in schools. Now,
- 42:43Speaker 1: you know, when it was segregated, I probably go along
- 42:46Speaker 1: with it. That's what I was. I was at the
- 42:48Speaker 1: segregated school. There's too much integration. Now you're gonna be
- 42:52Speaker 1: pulling black kids up there. Frankly, people ain't been to
- 42:55Speaker 1: handle that. Right now, this is down the dark hole.
- 42:59Speaker 1: It's the before the horse. You put your prayer back
- 43:01Speaker 1: into schools first, see how that work out for you.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Allow corporal punishment in school. That will make no damn sense.

- 54:16Speaker 1: for the Strawberry letter with my good friend Shirley Strawbeary,
- 54:20Speaker 1: thank you my good friend juniors. Subject Did I make
- 54:24Speaker 1: it all up? Dear Stephen Shirley. My boyfriend and I
- 54:28Speaker 1: are in our early thirties and we've been together for
- 54:31Speaker 1: two years. We've been on again, off again for the
- 54:35Speaker 1: past year of our relationship because he gets upset over
- 54:39Speaker 1: the smallest things. I assumed he was cheating on me
- 54:42Speaker 1: when we'd argue and not speak to each other. On
- 54:45Speaker 1: our last breakup, we were apart for a month, so
- 54:49Speaker 1: I took it upon myself to be the bigger person
- 54:51Speaker 1: and try to fix things with him. He had been
- 54:54Speaker 1: living with his cousin in a townhouse about five miles
- 54:57Speaker 1: from my house. I went by the house and they
- 54:59Speaker 1: had moved. I called my boyfriend and his phone was
- 55:03Speaker 1: no longer in service. I got mad all over again,
- 55:06Speaker 1: and I thought he'd taken the games too far this time.
- 55:09Speaker 1: A few weeks passed and I really missed him, so
- 55:13Speaker 1: I rode by his mother's house and I didn't see
- 55:15Speaker 1: his car, so I kept going. I noticed that he
- 55:18Speaker 1: had untagged himself in two group pictures I posted of
- 55:22Speaker 1: us on my Instagram page. My profile is private because
- 55:26Speaker 1: he doesn't want our love life on social media. He
- 55:29Speaker 1: hates taking pictures and always dodges my phone whenever I'm
- 55:34Speaker 1: taking selfies or when I try to take pictures with him,
- 55:37Speaker 1: And now I know why. When he went missing, my
- 55:42Speaker 1: intuition finally kicked in and I found his ex's Facebook page.
- 55:47Speaker 1: She lives in another city, and so does he, with
- 55:50Speaker 1: her and their newborn son. They got married two years ago,
- 55:55Speaker 1: according to Facebook. That's right around the time I met him.
- 56:00Speaker 1: I ran to my mother for comfort, but she was
- 56:02Speaker 1: no help. She said that he gave me signs all
- 56:06Speaker 1: along that he's married. But I made up a fairytale
- 56:09Speaker 1: relationship in my head. But he said he loved me
- 56:12Speaker 1: all the time and we had unprotected intercourse. He was
- 56:16Speaker 1: mine and I was his. How could I possibly make
- 56:19Speaker 1: it all up? What do I do now? Well? I mean,
- 56:24Speaker 1: you know, what do you do now? I mean you
- 56:29Speaker 1: move on with your life And as hard as that sounds,
- 56:32Speaker 1: that's what you have to do. Two words. It's over.
- 56:35Speaker 1: It's over. He's married with a newborn. There's nothing else
- 56:38Speaker 1: to discuss. Don't be mad at him, because, like your
- 56:41Speaker 1: mom said, he gave you signs all along, but you
- 56:44Speaker 1: were so disillusioned, so caught up, you made up a
- 56:47Speaker 1: fairytale relationship in your head. You ignored all the red flags.
- 56:52Speaker 1: We talk about this all the time on this show.
- 56:54Speaker 1: There are red flags. You cannot ignore them, but you did.
- 56:59Speaker 1: They were there from the from the very beginning. You
- 57:01Speaker 1: just made the choice to ignore them. You said, finally
- 57:05Speaker 1: your intuition kicked in and you finally paid attention to
- 57:11Speaker 1: you know, and you got what he was saying. But
- 57:13Speaker 1: your mom gave you what you needed in that moment.
- 57:17Speaker 1: You need it tough love. So you gotta stop calling him,
- 57:20Speaker 1: stop writing by his mom's house, his old town house.
- 57:23Speaker 1: You got to stop looking for him on Facebook and stuff.
- 57:26Speaker 1: You gotta let this stuff go. You gotta let him go.
- 57:29Speaker 1: You don't need to talk to him. You don't need
- 57:31Speaker 1: to find out what happened. You don't need to get
- 57:33Speaker 1: any closure. He already gave you that closure when he
- 57:37Speaker 1: went back to his wife and with his child, So
- 57:40Speaker 1: you need to block him. Anything other than that after
- 57:44Speaker 1: what he did is just desperation on your part. And
- 57:47Speaker 1: trust me, you'll get over this. You will many have
- 57:50Speaker 1: and you will too, Steve, you know this letter is different.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Did I make it all up? Well? You know what
- 57:59Speaker 1: I chose to do with this letter, Shirley, was I
- 58:01Speaker 1: decided to talk about what she didn't mention. Okay, because
- 58:09Speaker 1: this letter is full of what she didn't mention. My
- 58:14Speaker 1: boyfriend and I in our early thirties, and we've been
- 58:17Speaker 1: together for two years. We've been on and off again
- 58:22Speaker 1: for the past year of our relationship. I've told women
- 58:29Speaker 1: how many times, Shirley, that men don't do we don't
- 58:34Speaker 1: do off. No, we own with somebody. If we off
- 58:39Speaker 1: and own with you, it's cause we off with you
- 58:42Speaker 1: because we own somewhere else a schedule. So you've been
- 58:48Speaker 1: on again, off again for the past year in your
- 58:50Speaker 1: relationship because he gets upset over the smallest things. That's
- 58:56Speaker 1: just his out. You ain't look at right. Well, he
- 59:01Speaker 1: got to go home and he what you say? That
- 59:06Speaker 1: fault in the back of his mind. My wife, don't
- 59:08Speaker 1: talk like that. You just let me come and go
- 59:12Speaker 1: as I please. I gotta get home. My wife checking
- 59:15Speaker 1: on me. You see what I'm saying. It's what she's
- 59:18Speaker 1: not saying. I assumed that he was cheating on me
- 59:23Speaker 1: when we'd argue and not speak to each other. You
- 59:28Speaker 1: assumed he was cheating on you. Oh, shain't cool. What
- 59:33Speaker 1: you're not saying is you didn't assume he was cheating
- 59:37Speaker 1: with you on our last breakup. We were apart for
- 59:42Speaker 1: a month. Yeah, he had to go get it together now.
- 59:45Speaker 1: So I take it abon myself to be a bigger
- 59:47Speaker 1: person to try to fix it with him. We've been living.
- 59:50Speaker 1: He had been living with his cousin in a town
- 59:52Speaker 1: house about five miles from my house. I went by
- 59:56Speaker 1: the house and they had moved. He never lived at
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: He was using his cousin's house. Girl. When I come back,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I'm just gonna tell you the rest of it. Sheldon
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: already tell you what you needed to do. I'm just
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: gonna help you get the facts. All right, Steve, We'll
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: have part two of your response coming up at twenty
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter, subject did
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: I Make it All Up? We'll be back right after this.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Morning Show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter, the subject did I make
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: it all up? Oh? Yeah, your mother told you this,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: but you don't listen. Relationship you're having with a boyfriend
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: for two years has been on again, off again for
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: the past year. That's I've told women, we don't do off,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: we just do own. If we'll offer you to cast,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: we're own somewhere else. Our last breakup, they broke up
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: for a month, so she took it on herself to
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: be a bigger person to try to fix things with him.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: He had been living with his cousin in the town
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: house about five miles from my house. No, he wasn't.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: He was going over there for the hook up. There
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: was the hook up pan in his cousin's house. He
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: wasn't living there. So when you went by, they had moved,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: the cousin moved. He back at the house with his wife. Yeah.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I called my boyfriend and his phone was no longer
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: in service. He didn't got he didn't had to get
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: rid of ever dance. I got married all over again
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: and thought he'd taking the games too far this time
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: once again, thirty old boyfriend and y'all taking the games
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: too far this time. So you was in a gamesmanship,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: not a relationship. A gamesmanship not a relationship. A few
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: weeks past, and I really missed him. So I rode
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: by his mama's house and I didn't see his car,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: so I kept going. I noticed he had untagged himself
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: in two group pictures I had posted of us on Instagram. Yeah. See,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: he didn't get rid of the phone. He had to untagged.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: He got busted by his wife. My profile is private
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: because he don't want our love life on social media
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: because his wife will find out. Girl. He hates taking
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: pictures and always dodges my phone when I remember I'm
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: taking selfish or when I try to take pictures with him.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: He can't be in no picture. He ain't even famous,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: and he doing that right. And now I know why Dan.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: The light bulb went off in Dummy's head when he
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: went missing. My intuition finally kicked in. It finally kicked in.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Nor didn't Lady, it been kicking in you, jess ignored.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Didn't try to make something of that. You've been in
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: the own again all of gain relationship for the past year.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: He gets upset over the smallest things. Here's your other intuition.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I assumed he was cheating on me when we'd dog
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: and not speak to each other. All that was intuition.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I called my boyfriend's phone and he was no longer
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: in service. I got mad all over again. That was intuition.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: I thought he'd taking the games too far this time.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: That was intuition. Then he had untagged himself in two
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: group pictures I posted on my Instagram. That was intuition.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Your profile is private because he doesn't want our love
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: on social media. That was intuition. He takes pictures and
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: dodges my phone whenever I'm taking selfish where I try
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: to take rid of That was intuition. Then she say,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: and now I know why when he went missing, my
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: intuition kicked in and I found his Facebook page. She
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: lives in another city and soldiers. He with her and
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: their newborn son. They got married two years ago, according
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: to Facebook. That's right around the time I met him.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I ran to my mother for comfort, but she was
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: no help. She said he gave me all the signs
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: all along that he was married. But I made up
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: a fairy ary relationship in my head. But he said
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: he loved me all the time, and we had unprotected
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: in the course. He was mine and I was his.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: How could I possibly make it all up? You just did?
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: You just read this letter to us, and you said
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: he was mine and I was his. How could I
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: possibly make this up? You tell us your intuition kicked
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: in from the very beginning. You ignored it until later
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: on in the life before you went to his exits
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Facebook page and found out he lived in another city
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: with him and his newborn. Uh, what do I do now? What? Shure?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: He told you? What do you do now? You got
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: to move on? Yeah? Yeah, you have nothing. You got
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: to move on. He's married, he got a family, he
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: lived out of town. You ain't got no phone number
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: on him. You've been untagged. You can't take no pictures
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: with him. He don't want to take pictures with you.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: He's married. What do I do now? You move on?
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: There's nothing else for you to do. I'm sorry. This
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: is the way it works. Stop writing by his mom's house,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: that's for sure, because mama don't give it to you.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Just help you. Your mama didn't care, right, His mama
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: could give lessons now interested in her new grand baby. Right?
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: None of the mama's a senior kid. Your old mama
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: didn't kid. No, she told you you made it up.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: It was in your head, a fantasy relation. So stop
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: making up stuff without facts. So what you had unprotected
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: in it? He headed with that other girl too, and
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: she got a baby. Brenda got a baby. Nick, Your
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: marvel's up, Go home, play somewhere all right. Post your
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM and

- 1:07:18Speaker 1: But you know, it's just it's just good to see
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: them little chats out there, Man from Curious Ound. They
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: had a great tournament. They had a great tournament this year.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: They was not playing talking about them little dudes get
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: a hit and then curious curiousles in Jerry's small place.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Yeah man, they lost. Man also and other sports dudes.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Man's just shout out to Rory McElroy. Man. He becomes
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: the first person to win the Finnish Cup title three times.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Wow and unk. The paycheck that go with that is
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: eighteen million. Ye'all watched it came pulling for Roy too. Yeah, yeah, man,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: And that's great because no one in our marketing place listens.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: Took off. So I was shocked that you did golf story.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: But thank you for me. But for the other millions
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: of people they could give less. Yeah. They don't even
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: know who Roy Michael Roy is. They don't know from Scotland, Shirley.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: They have you know who Roy Michael Roy is? No

- 1:08:39Speaker 1: what you're talking about. Okay, Well I'm just saying, would
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: you swing a club for eighteen millions? What I'm asking
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: I'm down here swinging it for free. A great story, Junior,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: swing golf club for eighteen years. Ask damage person what
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: theyre I'm trying to figure out what they won't do
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: for a teen That's all I was just asking. Eighteen me.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: He don't speaking free, but man, that's a pretty good paycheck. Also, man,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: we gotta say our prayers are with Brian Robinson. Man,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: he's running back for the Washington Commanders. He was shot
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: multiple times in attempted robbery. All um, I mean, he's
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: just a young guy. He's playing for the Washings Commanders
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: and all his all of the shooting is none of
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: his life threatening. So we just want to send all
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: of the shootings and none of us like, yeah, it's
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: not it's not life threatening. I mean he just was
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: shot some good times, that's all. So we are praying
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: for his family injuries. He's an injury, so we're praying
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: for his family. Man. That's our sports talk right there today.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Eighteen me swing that club. Man, get out here, all right,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: thank you, Junior. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Steve a lie that you're going to be proud of
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: we found this. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: You're listening, well, Steve. We found this letter recently. It
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: was posted on Baller Alert. I think you'll be proud
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: of this letter. I think you'll be proud of this lie.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: This man wrote this letter to his girlfriend. It's titled
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: to Bay from prison after Valentine's Day? Okay, well, uh,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: dear Bay, Sorry I missed Valentine's Day and for the
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: no call and no show, I got locked up on
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: my day. On my way to your house. To surprise you,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: I use my only phone call to call my lawyer.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: I will see you Sunday when they release me. Can
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: you pick me up at Newark Airport? That's where the
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: police dropped me off at because one of them live
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: in Newark and was giving me a ride. If you
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: see some pictures on Facebook, those are old pictures of
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: me in Jamaica before we got together. I love you,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: your Bay, your boot man. Did that make you dog?
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: I'm in prison, yeah, but I get out Sunday. Rocket
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Boy Balatie's death Boy. On his way to her house,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: I used the one call to call my lawyer, my dad.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Can you pick me up at the New York Airport,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: though policeman gonna give me a ride there and see
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: any pictures of me on faith. But that was last year.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: That ain't that ain't where I was. This lie nothing
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: the work, but is damn though the fact that you
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: had the gumption to tell ye, boy, come on, man,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: say what not tell me what happened? Do you do
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: on the way to her house? I got imprisoned. He
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: in jail, he in prison. See. One of the comments
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: was that is the most creative lie I have ever seen, now,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: one of them. When you go to prisoner, you've been sentenced,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: then you go to jail and await sentencing a way
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: to try. Yeah, but you just went to prison dog.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: So that that right there is you know, he'd been
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: in jail, just sending for me, one more time, doing it,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: one more town for me. Hey. So you know what, man,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: I was baby baby, not the sign blowing crazy. It's crazy.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I remember when I was, when I when I was
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: supposed to be seeing you on Valentine's Day. Yes, I
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: was waiting for you. So I'm driving and all of
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: a sudden, sound effects is that? And it scared me
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: so bad I slammed on my brakes right, so the
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: car ran up in the back to me. The police
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: car ran up into the back of them, and and
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: it messed my head up me and I hit my
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: head a little bit, you know, because you know, I
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: ain't got no air bags because I disabled them because
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: I don't know. I was reading on sixty minutes how
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: they hurt a lot of people, so I went on disable.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Now I hit my head on that standing wheel. It
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: kind of made me black out. And they got out
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: the car and they thought I was drunk because I
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: was woozy from me standing wheel because I disabled the bag.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: So they arrested me, and then they come to find
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: out they had all these charge just because I had
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: these warrants. The next thing, you know, they had one
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: phone call, so I they had a phone book then there,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: and so I looked up my lawyer and I called
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: him and that was my only phone call. I couldn't
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: call you because they kept my cell phone. And you'll know,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: being the cell phone, I ain't never memorize it, you know.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: I just hit the support person in my life, babe bag,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: and you know, and then the next thing, you know, man,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: I was just locked up. I couldn't have the number, man,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: So I'm getting out Sunday a point pick me up.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: It's gonna be some pictures you see on Facebook, but
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: that's last year. At the same time before I met
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: you had all right, we'll have more of the Sea
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up in twenty minutes after the
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: hour right after this you're listening show. All right, this
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: story is crazy. Uh it was a lie of hoax,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: a prank gone bad. Did you guys see the viral
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: picture of a man who went to McDonald's. I don't
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: know how you missed this when it appeared he had
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: a case of monkey pox. It really did go viral.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: You guys saw that picture right right, yeah, because it
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: really looked crazy. Yeah, yeah, that one. Uh huh. Well,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: this guy won on social media to announced it was
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: all a prank to promote his music. You got monkey pock.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: You went all out, dude. The guy his name is Dwayne.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: He admits that his marketing scheme didn't go too well
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: and people were really mad at him for going to
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: McDonald's with monkey pox. Even posted the video of the
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: whole process of someone painting the fake fake pox on him,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: and he even took some of the props off to
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: prove it was all a prank. I just think you know,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: doing way too much? Right, that was way too much.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: That's what your music really really must Yeah album that
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: boy album? Man, I gotta do something to get somebody
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: want to hear this. I'm no one. I'm tell him
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: I got market pops an album. Why would you do that?
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: His mama don't have his album? Craby, This ain't good.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: You want to redo this without the monkeybox? Okay? Coming
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: up in thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: around it. Would you rather right after this you're listening
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: to the Steve Morning Show time now for would you
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: rather would you rather have new picks, your nude picks
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: be leaked to everyone at work? Or would you rather
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: those nude pictures be leaked to everyone at your family gathering,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: your family reunion or whatever at work or family gathering.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: IM gonna let y'all see it. Yeah, yeah, that way
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: you know they gonna know one. Yeah you go, yeah,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: don't don't, all right? Would you rather break out into
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: laughter at a funeral or would you rather break out
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: into laughter at a wedding? Which one funeral? You bust
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: stop laughing. Oh, you should have seen the people here talking.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Oh my god. Yeah, because my cousin, you know, he
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: was his funeral, but my cousin his partner his bed
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: friends said, you know, I know he ain't hear no more,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: but he ain't heaven right now, body rocking? Who says
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: that at the funeral? Now, I've been in some funerals
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: since I've been in Holly, laughing, Holly. This lady went
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: up to the cask and was standing there talking to
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: the body and then leaned down to lay her head
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: on the chest, and the lid fell on her. You
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: have seen her ass thinking she was siting to go
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: with him. You've seen her big ass getting her but
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: she damned and told the lid off the other weight
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: I was at the funeral, she told her satin out
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: the top of the snatched so hard, she told her
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: satin at the top of the funeral. The family was
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: sitting over there. I'm mortified. I'm on the other side.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I can't breathe. Well, that would laugh, Yeah, I was
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: it now, wheezing her head on you. You know, she
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: tried to lay her head on his chest, like I'm
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: gonna miss you, and she snatched it lead open with
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: a elbow and taul and satting off the top. I
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: was sitting over there on the side. Who okay, all right,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: that's today's version of grieving that hard alright? Coming up
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: in forty nine minutes after the hour, it's our last
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: break of the day, and of course we'll have some

- 1:19:43Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show, all right, Here we are
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: our last break of the day before we get to
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Steves closing on this Tuesday. This is um Labor Day
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: week right, girl, Yeah? Countdown the Labor Day weekend coming up. Yeah,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: this is man. This this year we say it all
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: the time. This year is moving. Christmas is tomorrow. It
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: really is, it really is. We got wight Holidays, folks
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: that get here. I know, I know what now we
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: have three yeah what Thanksgiving? It depends on who you are.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: You got Labor Day, yeah, Halloween yeah yeah, and then
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: you got to season you got you know, holiday season
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: you got yeah, Christmas oh yeah, Nicle yeahs and Christmas yeah.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: You know. I was thinking one day, have you ever
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: wondered about this is my closing remarks. So I'm just
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: went through Have you ever wondered about why y'all life
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: hands so many stumbling blocks and pitfalls and troubles? You know,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I was talking to myself the healthy day, well not really,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I was really talking to God and it was kind
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: of and it was funny because I read something I
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: was just asking God about, you know, why I was
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: taking so long for something to happen. And then I
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: got reflective of it, and I started thinking about, hey, man,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: what what is it about my life that's been so
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: so troubling? Why so many troubles? And I've oftentimes at
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: the times I wanted to ask God back then when
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: it was happening to me, why am I going through
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: this so long? I got it. I don't need this
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: lesson no more? You know this living in this car?
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: What I got it? Come on, man, let's make something happen. Happen.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: Why did these relationships be so disappointing? I got it.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: Make something happen. When I look back all on it.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: And you know what he told me. He sent this
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: to me from from a friend of mine, and the
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: saying said, I asked God why he took me through
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: so many troubled waters? And God's response was because your
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: enemies can't swim, and boy, lever tell you something. It
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: was like I was really having a conversation with God
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: about everything that had happened to me, and I just
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: couldn't and the why of it I was struggling with.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: And then a friend sent it to me. I'm talking
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: about within minutes and the slogan said, I kept asking
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: God why he keeps taking me through these troubled waters,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: and God's response was, because your enemies can't swim. He
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: took me out into deep He took me out there
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: where the waves was crashing or and even though I
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: didn't want to be out there, he was with me
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: the whole time. And why he was with me the
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: whole time, my enemies couldn't get to me no more.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I was out of reach because I was out there
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: in the trouble zone trouble zone. But I was tucked
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: under the wings of my heavenly Father. And that's why
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: sometimes you have troubles because you put down He put
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: you out there sometimes in a condition, in a set
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: of circumstances where very few people can can can deal with,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: can relate. I often wonder why they weight on my shoulders.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: It's so heavy, and I have to come to terms
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: because I'm built for this. I have to understand why,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: why me, Oh Lord, why does it feel so crushed
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: for me? I'm talking to those of you that have
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: am wondering this sometimes, Oh me, Oh wonder why it's me?
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Oh Lord? Because you it. You're the one that has
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: the stripth that he can demonstrate his power through. He's
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: using you to show other people what he can do.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about that? Did you ever think, man,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: that he needed to show you on the ground. So
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: when he picked you up and had you walking again,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: that was people who saw that who didn't think you'd
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: ever get up again. Don't you understand that there are
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: people in your life who just knew you wasn't gonna
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: get up again, and God used you to show them.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: I'm God Almighty, I'm the powerful. I can do the unthinkable.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: I can make things happen when it seems happenless. That's
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: that God, Man. And so sometimes when you're going through it,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: understand something. It's because he chose you for it, that
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: he put the test in front of you, because he
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: knows you have the ability to pass it. And that
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: right there, Man explains a lot of my life. That
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: right there can explain a lot of your life. It's
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: tagged you it because you were chosen for this life.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: You can do it. Why are you the only one
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: in your family ever went to college? Why are you
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: the only one in the family had this then went
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: down this path of the road. I used to be
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: tripping all the time. Lord, I'm tired of swinging this machette.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: He said, Well, what you you want to go to
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: where everybody else can win? Or you want to keep
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: this machette in your hand and cut this path? I
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: got you on, get your swinging and shut up. So
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: I shut up and I'm swinging nice pad. Appreciate you. Lord.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks that they hope you got
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: something from it. If not, yeah, I see you tomorrow. Hey,
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: talk to God today, y'all. He'd love to hear from you.
