- 0:04From Colin Welcome back y 'all yet another episode
- 0:11of the buckpusters where we talk anything and
- 0:14everything hockey where I'm surrounded by these
- 0:17That's a different one what's going on guys welcome
- 0:26back and yeah, how we doing boys? Good good really
- 0:30good about the Steelers one today. See we're
- 0:33not a football podcast, but I was just I'm calling
- 0:36Does that mean suffering? I was gonna say not
- 0:43a not a football podcast, but man what a fucking
- 0:46Steelers team we have What a football day in
- 0:48general. What a game chiefs lose their first
- 0:49game Ravens lose obviously to the Steelers Yeah,
- 0:53fucking great in Denver beating the shit out
- 0:55of Atlanta was crazy. Yeah, but uh Yeah, we're
- 0:59not a football podcast, we're a hockey podcast.
- 1:01Yeah, that's your one minute of football content
- 1:02there, your 30 seconds of football content. But
- 1:05I could do, I could talk about football for all
- 1:07of us if we really wanted to, but especially
- 1:09this year's Steelers, man, just such a good fucking
- 1:13team, man. But yeah, talk about Otters hockey
- 1:16too, man. Otters have been looking fucking solid.
- 1:19They've looked consistently solid. They've had
- 1:22really solid last two weeks, like actually. We
- 1:26split in their weekends and again again 500 weekends
- 1:29not losing three out of six three to five games
- 1:31or three to four games like we have been you
- 1:34know in years past yeah looking at third in the
- 1:36division and Fourth in the conference fourth
- 1:39in the conference. Well, we're tied for fourth
- 1:41with Saginaw But we get the tiebreaker because
- 1:44we haven't game an end and we've done in a best
- 1:46one still. Yeah And his ones are still in first
- 1:49in the conference They were on a winning streak
- 1:54last few weeks. Kitchner being 15, 3, 2, and
- 1:591. Windsor being 14, 5, and 2. Peter Burrow is
- 2:05making their way up. They're in 10th now in the
- 2:10East. They got their first dub finally. Way to
- 2:17go Peter Burrow, you did it. You did the thing.
- 2:19Welcome to the NHL, Peterborough. So we could
- 2:21at least give you your participation trophy,
- 2:23but you don't deserve any other medals, Jesse.
- 2:25What was the stat I said? Like going back to
- 2:27last season, before they got that win, going
- 2:29back to last season, they had lost like 22 games
- 2:31in a row or something. That's wild. And then
- 2:34like it was like lost 28 of 29 or like they lost
- 2:38like nine to the last 10 last season. And then
- 2:41it's a wild stat. Like they are just not a good
- 2:44team compared to, you know. They're still winning
- 2:47this at home. There's still one that's at home.
- 2:49There's one win game on the road. In Saginaw.
- 2:51In Saginaw. To Saginaw. Took that W. Saginaw.
- 2:56At home they're 0 -5 -1 -2. So I mean, really
- 2:59only 8 games played at home thus far. But, you
- 3:03know, 1 -10 -0 -1 on the road. Otter's got a
- 3:06whole bunch of home games coming up here. I know
- 3:09three of the four of us are gonna be at all three
- 3:12hopefully. I'll be at all three. And then we
- 3:15got... Steelers game we were onto on Thursday
- 3:17night. So four days in a row of going to a sporting
- 3:20event of our of our teams It's just gonna be
- 3:22wild constant. We're gonna be fucking exhausted
- 3:24by Sunday So we probably won't be recording next
- 3:26Sunday either. So yeah, if I didn't work second
- 3:29shift I definitely wouldn't gonna be absolutely
- 3:32killed for for Sunday. I Think it wouldn't be
- 3:36like three weeks. I'll have to do that. So Wednesday
- 3:38night or is it is sue on Wednesday night Wednesday
- 3:41nights bring and then Friday assume Saturday
- 3:44Kitchener Okay, yeah don't drive to Cleveland
- 3:51for the Steelers Browns game Thursday night football
- 3:53Next five games for the Otters are all are all
- 3:58at home We got Brampton Sioux Kitchener Owen
- 4:02Sound on the 27th and flints on the 30th Okay,
- 4:06so looks like they do they split their months
- 4:08between November December First half of their
- 4:10respective months are all in the road the back
- 4:13half of their respective months Just great. Yeah,
- 4:17I'm gonna try to at least go to the Thanksgiving
- 4:19Yeah, it was not Thanksgiving crazy thing is
- 4:21is they're doing the day before Yeah, I mean
- 4:24I'm off day before and then I think the day after
- 4:26the Saturday after I'm off. Yeah Yeah, they're
- 4:29cheap. They changed the Thanksgiving game. They're
- 4:32doing things I think I think they're doing they
- 4:33still do nears Eve and they're just near the
- 4:36just new year's near read this year Yeah, obviously
- 4:39that's Tuesday at 6 p .m. They're hosting the
- 4:42Hamilton, oh I'm not Hamilton, Brantford Bulldogs.
- 4:44Brantford Bulldogs, okay. Yeah, let's just say
- 4:46yeah they... Thanksgiving game isn't Thanksgiving
- 4:50even and they're changing the teddy bear toss
- 4:52to that night as well Which is different. It's
- 4:56not only that that's Richard the Saturday. Yeah,
- 4:59let's see Hopefully they can actually get a decent
- 5:01crowd on a Wednesday night for once Let's hope
- 5:03it's draw more than 2 ,000 people on a fun a
- 5:05Wednesday night. Yeah after obviously excluding
- 5:10this Wednesday and the fault Thanksgiving Eve
- 5:13the next Wednesday game is the last game before
- 5:17Christmas break is against London. So hopefully
- 5:20we get a couple, a couple high capacity or high
- 5:23attendance Wednesday night games, let's hope.
- 5:25Yeah, because I know my school, we... And we've,
- 5:28sorry to catch you off, but we've noticed the
- 5:30EIA, when that place is packed, that team feels
- 5:32it and that team plays a whole lot differently
- 5:34when that place is packed. Yeah. Oh yeah. So
- 5:37you can tell that all the guys just enjoy having
- 5:41that energy. That was one of the most recent
- 5:45home game that shutout was a damn near sellout.
- 5:47Wasn't it military military? I know they I know
- 5:55they stay official I think they officially announced
- 5:57that the McDavid game is officially sold out
- 5:59the earliest sellout game in EIA and like in
- 6:03Otter's history There's only like like was I
- 6:06was looking at the seating chart today. There's
- 6:08like going very select single seats, but pretty
- 6:12much it is sold out. I mean, I worked that out
- 6:16anyway. Yeah, I think when I was looking at it,
- 6:18there were like an estimate 27 seats left. I
- 6:22wouldn't doubt if like the fucking the club is
- 6:25going to be sold out. The suites are probably
- 6:27going to be packed too. Like it's standing room
- 6:29is going to be crazy. We might be pushing seven
- 6:31thousand that night. So because I know I know
- 6:33there's a lot that they said they're going to
- 6:36be doing like a lot of. promotions leading up
- 6:39to that night as well as including the night
- 6:43mcdavid's jersey retirement it's gonna be awesome
- 6:45i'm so i'm so excited for it i'm sorry i'm just
- 6:49looking at the cat are the bps mascot the unofficial
- 6:56mascot right otis yeah nothing usually he's vocal
- 7:01not right now Baman this this otters team carry
- 7:04trance on what Friday night four goals for carry
- 7:07torrents on Friday night These are just looking
- 7:09insane this team this team as a whole is looking
- 7:12great two hat tricks in the last week and that
- 7:15We got the first one Malcolm Spence did he damn
- 7:17got his first career I'm sure we'll get we'll
- 7:20get to that when you do your uh your milestones
- 7:21here shortly, but yeah the Going back to the
- 7:25veterans game. That was that was fun. That game
- 7:28was calling I Was that another shutout? That
- 7:31was like the 4 -0 win? Yeah, that was another
- 7:34shutout weekend for Noah. Back -to -back home
- 7:39shutouts for Noah? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 7:45I'm doing a little research here. Yeah, this
- 7:48team is the best it's looked in years, man. And
- 7:51it's only improved from the second half of last
- 7:54season. The power play is looking really to penalty
- 7:56kill. I know the penalty kill I know I think
- 7:58I've seen still needs a little bit of work, but
- 8:00the power play is looking a lot better. It wasn't
- 8:02good against Saginaw the other night, the penalty
- 8:04kill. It was probably the worst I think it's
- 8:08been this entire season. Yeah. I'm kind of curious
- 8:13now. I'm really excited to see what this team
- 8:15can do in these last 40 -something games. You
- 8:17know, it's first 20 or so has looked pretty damn
- 8:20good. So let's keep that up and keep this rolling
- 8:23through December and the rest of the season.
- 8:26Make another playoff push another hopefully a
- 8:28little bit deeper of a playoff run Yeah, currently
- 8:30the otters is power place eighth with 25 .6 That's
- 8:35better than we usually heard better than 17th
- 8:37or 18th. Yeah, the top seven are Kitchener London
- 8:41Windsor Kingston, Oshawa, Berry and Niagara and
- 8:45then the what's the penalty kill? Penalty kill
- 8:50it's um Penalty kill it's pretty much the same
- 8:55thing. Also eighth? Yeah, also eighth. It did
- 8:58drop a little bit because of probably because
- 9:01of their result the last two games in Saturday.
- 9:05Charlie Burns finally had a really good game
- 9:07last night and just we couldn't we couldn't put
- 9:10pocket enough goals to back him up for it. Definitely
- 9:12the best game he's played all season. I know
- 9:14he's had his struggles with his first couple
- 9:16starts. But he only led in two last night on
- 9:19what 30 shots and we just wasn't enough we couldn't.
- 9:21Couldn't squint score to back him up. So But
- 9:25hopefully hopefully get burns a win here. I don't
- 9:27know if he has one on the year yet Yeah, so,
- 9:29um, let's hopefully we can get him one here soon
- 9:31and and keep on rolling through through the rest
- 9:33of the month and Let's cap off this month with
- 9:36a couple wins here in Erie No, let's get a win
- 9:39in Cleveland for the Steelers That's my first
- 9:42NFL game. I know Collins what your seventh I
- 9:45can't keep practicing anymore. This is your first
- 9:48regular season. This is my first regular season
- 9:49because Bobo and I went to the one of the preseason
- 9:52games earlier this summer against the Texans
- 9:56and that's. So I think we don't think we won
- 9:58a preseason game this year did we? I think we
- 10:00were only three in preseason. Yeah well they
- 10:02were not good in preseason. Sixth. Sixth. Your
- 10:06sixth game? Yeah. So you're only your fourth
- 10:08stealer though? Or your only third stealers?
- 10:11Oh fuck. Third. Cuz I did one in Buffalo this
- 10:16will be my Third in Cleveland Second until you've
- 10:22been I've done three in Pittsburgh. Yeah, so
- 10:27cuz I do already went to the Browns Niners game
- 10:29last Yeah, when the Browns actually beat beat
- 10:33the frickin for that. I'm defeated for designers
- 10:36of the time last year You were at that game last
- 10:38year. Yeah, I was at the game last year. Oh shit
- 10:40Yeah, without the pedophile rapist, words I can't
- 10:48say on the air, Deshaun Watson, and without the
- 10:51man, the myth, the Chubb, the Nick Chubb. Yeah.
- 10:55Glad to see Nick Chubb is back and doing well.
- 10:57He's not putting up amazing numbers, but I mean,
- 10:59he's still recovering from injury, so probably
- 11:01won't start seeing his numbers again until next
- 11:02year. I think this was last year, actually. I
- 11:06think he announced that this might be his last
- 11:07year. I heard that too. Did he? with all his
- 11:10injuries and stuff which it's sad. He's only
- 11:13like 28. He's young but like again he's the hero
- 11:17that Cleveland doesn't deserve. I say he's one
- 11:21of the actual few Browns I actually really do
- 11:24like. Hence he's why the only, well it's why
- 11:27he's the only Browns Jersey I will ever own.
- 11:29Period because your entire family's clip Browns
- 11:32fan. Yeah, no not doing it You're pretty much
- 11:36Cleveland any other sport right you Cavs fan
- 11:39basketball and baseball Cleveland I would love
- 11:51to go see a Cleveland Monsters game, I would
- 11:53have nothing against that. I'm sorry, when my
- 11:56early team was better than one of your professional
- 11:58teams in the Browns, sorry. I know we're crossing
- 12:02over sports boundaries here, but I'm sorry. Browns,
- 12:06I picked them to win today and they obviously
- 12:08didn't, so it's lost, I might do that. First
- 12:11time I picked them to win this year and they
- 12:13lost. just like they've lost what nine games
- 12:18now eight games now anyways let's move back to
- 12:21hockey i said the one of the biggest things that
- 12:24come in the last couple weeks and before in milestones
- 12:27is the ncwa and the chl are officially agree
- 12:33that players can now be now play for ncwa teams
- 12:38or Vice versa NCAA players to come over to any
- 12:42of the CHL Yeah, I saw that there's definitely
- 12:45rumors or interest that the auditors are looking
- 12:47at a couple different NCAA players Let's see
- 12:53that if I can speak let's hopefully hope that
- 12:58that's true and we can get You know a more another
- 13:01experienced guy on the team on a side I think
- 13:04the one time kind of if a player does come out
- 13:07what I honestly would want another defenseman
- 13:10Yeah, I mean I didn't learn to I don't look too
- 13:12deeply into it But I could assume there's probably
- 13:14gonna be limits like oh you can't have more than
- 13:16two or something or more than three I can only
- 13:18assume it's gonna be like that I said it may
- 13:23potentially third string go tender because in
- 13:25case so we don't have that same situation last
- 13:30year with the whole e -bugs and well last year
- 13:35you know it was kind of weird because like we
- 13:37really only had one grade a goaltender and the
- 13:41only reason that happened is because we because
- 13:42of all we made all those cuts early in the sea
- 13:44like we originally had you know Liam Gilmartin
- 13:48um uh Lucas Ignoretti Tao Artichuk uh Colby Saganuk
- 13:54all announced to be on the original like opening
- 13:57night roster and I think a couple of them played
- 13:58a night or a game or two and Just they just got
- 14:01cut and we had to call up, you know, Dylan Edwards
- 14:03We called up a couple different other guys, you
- 14:05know, Ty Henry started being full -time. Nicholas
- 14:07Colomago started being full -time Which I'm very
- 14:10happy with his improvement. He is starting to
- 14:12actually show like a top four defenseman He's
- 14:17starting to show he's starting to starting to
- 14:19get a lot better defensive. Yeah Yeah, that's
- 14:22that's the only reason we ended up getting into
- 14:23that that situation because the whole you know
- 14:27A card and B card thing whatever it was is we
- 14:31were out of A cards because of how many cuts
- 14:33we made early on in the season so we just didn't
- 14:35have enough to sign another goaltender so that's
- 14:38why we ended up doing all those e -bugs and ended
- 14:40up finding the full -time you know quote -unquote
- 14:43e -bug the full -time loan with Ethan Fraser
- 14:45ended up being one of the main reasons we made
- 14:47that Got a lot of wins towards the end of the
- 14:49season and made a playoff run and made it to
- 14:51the playoffs And nearly helped us wait until
- 14:54Benny came back in the last couple games of the
- 14:56Kitchener series and that yeah He was a big key
- 14:59part of that as well But I know the big one of
- 15:03the biggest players to officially sign with the
- 15:05NCAA what I forget which team it was but Over
- 15:10rager from the kitchen Rangers on Jax and Parsons
- 15:13Yeah, he was one of the bigger guy bigger names
- 15:22that that fish a slime hasn't been really too
- 15:25many players have Yes, yeah. Yeah as of yet like
- 15:30there hasn't been either a bunch of players that
- 15:33either a sign within any the OHL or NC double
- 15:39Can I keep an eye on that throughout the entirety
- 15:41of this season now that it's official? Yeah.
- 15:45But I want to say, I kind of like that it gives
- 15:48other players opportunities as well. Oh, for
- 15:51sure. Yeah, I mean... It's gonna be nice to see
- 15:53some possibly college level players coming down
- 15:55to play in the oh, you know Help out some maybe
- 15:58some struggling some struggling teams or you
- 16:00know middle of the pack that never got one piece
- 16:02away from being a Great team, which I think the
- 16:05auditors are one of those. I think I do think
- 16:07we just need a little bit of defensive help You
- 16:09know our top four has been pretty solid, you
- 16:10know that bottom two, Nicole Amigula, I mean
- 16:12he's getting better but he still has his struggles.
- 16:15Schaeffer is probably our best defenseman that
- 16:18we've had in quite some time. Not probably, he
- 16:20is the best defenseman we've had since Jamie
- 16:22Drysdale. Probably, yeah. Yeah. Easily. I mean
- 16:26Ty Henry's starting to look really well, he's
- 16:28got some goals again, we'll get there. Jeffy
- 16:30will talk about that here soon. But yeah, I mean
- 16:33we could use a little bit more help. I know Dabio
- 16:36has been pretty rough. he's hit or not he's in
- 16:40brogio he's still still come up and coming up
- 16:42think but he's defensive isn't he yeah he's still
- 16:44up and coming trying to trying to find his way
- 16:46into the lineup full time yeah i mean it's one
- 16:50more defensive men i think would be very solid
- 16:53for us to get that seven six solid sixth defensemen
- 16:56not have to you know go back and forth with them
- 16:58and maybe somebody on the fourth line We have
- 17:01all those, I mean mine is Messier. The other
- 17:04two in the fourth line are rookies. So it'd be
- 17:07nice to get some experience playing on a more
- 17:10professional level and kind of bring the different
- 17:13insight that will really fit Stan Butler's gritty,
- 17:17in your face, defensive style lockdown game that
- 17:21he's well known for. Not only around the OHL,
- 17:24but around the CHL as a whole. It would be a
- 17:27nice little addition to it, but... That's the
- 17:32thing where only time will tell what will happen.
- 17:37Go ahead Jeffy, kick us off. What happened this
- 17:41past week? Going back on to the November 3rd,
- 17:45Chris Diablo of the Flint Firebirds played in
- 17:48his 200th career OHL game. James Petrovsky of
- 17:53the Owen Sun Attack played in his 200th career
- 17:57OHL game. And then on November 6th, Luca Pennelli
- 18:03of the Ottawa 67 gets his 200th career point
- 18:06versus the Kingston Frontenacs. And then on November
- 18:117th, Chicago Blackhawks prospect Ty Henry gets
- 18:15his first career OHO goal. And then Malcolm Spence
- 18:19of the Erie Warriors gets his first career OHO
- 18:22hat -trick versus Niagara in... funny thing is
- 18:26Noah Erlen got his first point off of Ty Henry's
- 18:30oh did he really he an assist on that that's
- 18:33awesome he got an assist on that um the on the
- 18:39eighth um Niagara Ice Dogs raised banners to
- 18:42honor Brian Cullen and Marcel Dion of the verse
- 18:46to Sarnia Sting um he had a secondary assist
- 18:50that's Henry from Alfian Noah that's hilarious.
- 18:54I don't know if you had not knows that Yeah,
- 18:57I had a I actually had a look at that I was watching
- 19:00the game and I had his I don't actually go look
- 19:03at the Apple Mike who would crap he actually
- 19:05got assists on that one And then speaking of
- 19:09Noah everyone he gets his second career shutout
- 19:13in 26 saves in a 4 -0 victory and in Pano Fimas
- 19:18gets his 200th career, which I'll point verse
- 19:20the Sue Greyhounds And then on the 13th panel,
- 19:26Fimas of the URIs played in his 200th Kurohiko
- 19:29game versus... I don't know why I put Sue on
- 19:35the 9th when they didn't even play him on the
- 19:379th. But they... Well, what I want is to 14th,
- 19:45yeah, no 13th side. Yeah, I don't know why I
- 19:48put them on then on the knife Yeah, I just realized
- 19:51that on the 13th against sue a 4 -3 OT loss.
- 19:55Yes, 200th game On and then in that same game
- 19:59Brady Martin of the suit greyhounds gets his
- 20:01first career. Oh, it's a hat trick They're on
- 20:06the 14th Carter George of the OS sound attack
- 20:09gets his first career. Oh, it's a goal Off of
- 20:12the goalie goal. There was a goalie goal. There
- 20:14was a goalie goal. Oh, really? I said that in
- 20:17the chat the night it happened. I'm gonna have
- 20:19to go back in. I didn't catch it. He's the first
- 20:22goaltender in the Owenstowns franchise to get
- 20:26a goalie goal and he's the 11th goaltender to
- 20:29ever do it in the OHL. Only 11th, wow. And it
- 20:32was against the Peter Rowe Pete's. Of course
- 20:34it was. Like, the past couple years it's always
- 20:37been against Niagara. Oh, this guy scored his
- 20:39seventh hat -trick against Niagara. This guy
- 20:41scored four goals against Niagara. I feel like
- 20:43it's gonna be a lot of that for Peterborough
- 20:44this year. I just tagged you in that group chat,
- 20:48so I wonder if we get an opportunity out there.
- 20:49I think I'm gonna watch it now, it's on silent.
- 20:54And then, to November 15th milestone, Noeder
- 20:57Butter of the Kingston Frontnecks. Butter? gets
- 21:01his first curio hl goals is that is that really
- 21:04is fucking yeah butter it's it's just instead
- 21:07of an e it's um just an a and it's butter butter
- 21:11might be bataar but when i look listen to on
- 21:17the bracket it is butter yeah fucking awesome
- 21:20his name is smooth like butter when did they
- 21:23come to eat are you a couple weeks so we all
- 21:26have to dress up as butter sticks got it yes
- 21:29um Toast so most of us toast one of us dress
- 21:34like a giant butter knife Thanks the butter Wicks
- 21:40science come here, but or we do pancakes like
- 21:43each of us for a pancake someone just does the
- 21:45cube of butter every time he whiffs butterfingers
- 21:48No, no whenever he steps. Oh, you look like you
- 21:54said to my warm stick of butter whoa Is it ice
- 21:59or butter? Brody Najam and Demian Zlizolkin of
- 22:06the Saginaw Spirit gets their first career O
- 22:09.H .O. goals versus the Urie Otters. In Hanaheim
- 22:11Ducks Prospect, Kerry Terantz gets his first
- 22:14career O .H .O. hat -trick. Then on the 16th,
- 22:20Chicago Blackhawks Prospect, Nick Lardis of the
- 22:24Brantford Bulldogs gets his 100th career O .H
- 22:26.O. career goal first to Brampton Steelheads
- 22:30and then Austin Elliott of the London Knights
- 22:33in 27 states gets his first career OHL shot in
- 22:37a 4 -0 victory versus the Guelph Storm and then
- 22:42David Suzzalville of the Oshawa Generals gets
- 22:46his first career OHL goal versus the Barry Colts.
- 22:50Awesome. Alright, you already know what it is?
- 22:53Well, I'll show you now. Let's switch it up a
- 22:56little bit before we go to part two. Remember
- 22:58how I said we're doing blind? Oh, I was gonna
- 23:00start bringing up blind rankings. Yeah So we're
- 23:03gonna start it off easy. We're gonna do blind
- 23:06rankings of best A's in the league. Best A's
- 23:12in the match world to begin with. Like alternate
- 23:15captains A's? Yeah. Okay. So first on the list,
- 23:19Sebastian Ajo of Carolina. Okay, he's only an
- 23:24A? Yeah, he's only right. Remember, uh, Jordan
- 23:26Stahl. I forgot he's still there, man. But yeah,
- 23:30Smash Moth, though. I think that's a solid middle
- 23:34ground. I would say... I would say two, honestly.
- 23:39I would say three. I would say three. That's
- 23:41a solid middle ground, but you don't know who's
- 23:42all on the list. Okay, I would say two. I feel
- 23:45like he's gonna give us some, uh, some shitty
- 23:46ones just to fuck with us here. Uh, the second
- 23:49name, Jack Hughes of the Devils. That's one that's
- 23:53one right off the bat easily Yeah for A's like
- 23:57I can't don't think I can think of an alternate.
- 23:59That's a better player. Especially the Metro
- 24:01I'm sure Colin has a couple up his sleeve. No,
- 24:04I'm saying A. I'm saying one for JQ's Third man
- 24:08on the list Chris Crider Four four. Yeah, he's
- 24:13overrated as hell dude. He's And that could just
- 24:16be my buy it could be my buy showing a little
- 24:18bit No, cuz I there's one I had in mind that
- 24:23I know he's gonna name and he's gonna be five
- 24:25I Have getting Balkan too In the hold on let's
- 24:30let's try let's think of what other teams there
- 24:32is still to choose from let's do up the islanders
- 24:35I don't even know who the A's are over there.
- 24:37The Blue Jackets, I don't even know who their
- 24:39A's and Captains would be at this point. I think
- 24:41Boon Jenner is still the Captain. Boon Jenner
- 24:42is Captain. I have no clue who the A's could
- 24:44be. Maybe Warrenski? But I don't think Warrenski
- 24:47is better than Kreider or Ajo. Might be better
- 24:51than Kreider, but... So... Blue Jackets. Capitals.
- 24:56Tampa. Tampa is semantic. I only get Metro. Oh,
- 25:01Metro. Capitals, I think you got... Oshi and
- 25:05Carlson? I think so. Uh, Oshi's on LTIR, remember?
- 25:10So, there's going to be another one. They'd probably
- 25:13be Wilson, Carlson. I think it's just Wilson
- 25:17and Carlson. So do we want to go two? Two? We'll
- 25:21go two. He's going to throw some crazy name at
- 25:23us, Max. Alright, so automatically in the number
- 25:29five position. Just type it, don't even tell
- 25:31us. Just type it. He's gonna he's gonna freeze
- 25:36it and then type it My feeling he was gonna throw
- 25:40a crystal tang at us is why he said let's hold
- 25:42the number five open for crystal tang Okay Good
- 25:49I'm happy with that list. That's honestly that's
- 25:51honestly you might let's be convinced He could
- 25:54probably switch a ho and Malkin. I would probably
- 25:56but that's a pretty fucking solid list there
- 25:58I'm happy with that. I'm surprised you don't
- 26:00do all eight You should have done all eight and
- 26:03just had... It's all in top five. Top five, fine
- 26:07dragons, random lists. Okay. I like that. If
- 26:10you want to keep, you should keep this up. Try
- 26:11to do this every episode. I like this. Okay.
- 26:15That was fun. All right. Now, Kyle, it is time.
- 26:18Do a normal puck doku. Puck doku. Ooh. Okay,
- 26:23going across the top for the Columns, we got
- 26:25Anaheim, Dallas, Detroit. And going down the
- 26:28side for the Rose, we got Toronto, Calgary, and
- 26:30Goli. John Gibson for Ducks -Goli. Yep. Easy
- 26:34right off the bat. Just played his first game
- 26:39this season, earlier this week. And then Dallas,
- 26:46I thought of random, Kerry Leighton. If you can
- 26:48remember how to fucking spell his name. It's
- 26:52Kate Kate ERI Yep, there we go. All right Toronto
- 27:08Detroit No, not been shot Chris Tanev, Calgary
- 27:19Dallas. That's actually what I was just about
- 27:21to say. You were just about to say that? Yeah.
- 27:23I knew he was Dallas. I couldn't remember if
- 27:25he played for Calgary. Hold on, because he can
- 27:27technically fit under Dallas, too. Dallas, Toronto,
- 27:30too. Yeah. Dallas, Toronto, and Calgary. So we
- 27:33can hold onto them in our back pockets. Okay,
- 27:36figure out which one we win. Okay, so we'll save
- 27:37that. Let's work on the Anaheim and Detroit column,
- 27:41then. For Toronto, Detroit. Tyler Bertuzzi. Yeah,
- 27:49okay. Can he fit anywhere else? No, he cannot.
- 27:52Tyler Bertuzzi? Good job. B .E. Where is he now?
- 27:59Isn't he in Chicago? He is in Chicago. Poor guy.
- 28:02He's playing with Connor Bedard. That's gotta
- 28:04be pretty exciting. Looks like a hockey player.
- 28:11We can do Yager for Dallas, Calgary, and then
- 28:14Tana for Toronto. Forgot, Jagger played like
- 28:2020 games for Calgary. And I think a full season
- 28:23with Dallas. Christopher Tanner. Boom, all right.
- 28:31So we need Toronto Anaheim, Calgary Anaheim,
- 28:34and Calgary Detroit. Kaudry never played for
- 28:39Detroit. I know, and I know he didn't play for
- 28:41Anaheim. Cam Talbot, Calgary Detroit. That's
- 28:48right. That's right. Did he play for Anaheim?
- 28:52No, I don't think so. I don't think so. I'd say
- 28:55it might be easier to go with him, but Blake
- 28:58Coleman, where is he playing now? Calgary. Is
- 29:01he still in Calgary? Yeah. I thought he got traded
- 29:03or like signed this offseason. Last I knew he
- 29:06was still in Calgary. Okay. Toronto Anaheim.
- 29:13Reeves never played for Anaheim, I don't think.
- 29:17Mean if there might be in that might be another
- 29:20inforcer player Calgary Anaheim Hannah Finn never
- 29:30played for a nine. I don't think I think he's
- 29:32been I think he was always in Calgary and then
- 29:34just went to Vegas this offseason Around the
- 29:38trade did on last year Well, we always get to
- 29:47like these first seven right off the bat and
- 29:48we get down in these last two I'm thinking possibly
- 30:08Freddy Anderson Good help me get there by looking
- 30:14shit Just try, try Freddy. Poor Anderson, yeah?
- 30:23Holy Anderson, what's that man? Fredrick Anderson,
- 30:25there we go. Boom. Alright. Teamwork there, Bubba.
- 30:29He got me there. Calgary, Anaheim. Calgary, Anaheim.
- 30:33I'm thinking either a defenseman, or like enforcer.
- 30:37Did Camp Fowler, he always been only been with
- 30:40Anaheim, right? Fowler's only been Anaheim. I'm
- 30:44pretty sure, yeah. Radko Gudis, where all has
- 30:47he played? Florida Toronto Washington not Washington
- 30:53obviously Did you ever play for Calgary? I don't
- 30:58think so. No, I don't think so What about the
- 31:03man of you know, 27 million teams? I don't think
- 31:08you played for either one. Played for either
- 31:10one. See you Crosby. Crosby dude. Maybe like
- 31:19an Eric Good Branson, like an Ian Cole. Good
- 31:25Branson did Anaheim, but I am not confident on
- 31:28Calgary. I thought he played for Calgary, I wasn't
- 31:31confident about Anaheim. That'll be our last
- 31:41second guess if we can't think of anything. I'm
- 31:47thinking like fourth liner like 12 13th defense
- 31:5012 13 forwards here Zach Aston Reese did he ever
- 31:56play a game for Calgary Which I didn't know till
- 32:02the other night that he's on Columbus now until
- 32:04he scored against us I had no fucking clue that
- 32:06he was in Columbus now Brian Duhamel and never
- 32:17played it mostly just Pittsburgh Anaheim Seattle
- 32:20I'm trying to think of other like Journeymen
- 32:24goaltenders, you know, obviously jumped around.
- 32:26Yeah, Freddy's paid for three different teams
- 32:29Bob was paid for four Korea. What is Anaheim
- 32:33Paul Korea? I don't think it was Calgary The
- 32:42Bob the Bob's only Canadian team was Toronto
- 32:46No team who never played for Calgary. I don't
- 32:49think no Only can you pay for too much? Winnipeg
- 32:53the original Winnipeg franchise bless you and
- 32:56then anaheim Maybe something in feel flurry.
- 33:00I know he played for Calgary. I Don't know if
- 33:03he played for Anaheim. I don't know if he his
- 33:05time Anaheim was even a team who's that? the
- 33:09backups for the respective clubs because you
- 33:11obviously got a Dostoe Dostoe for Anaheim and
- 33:17then who's the backup up in Calgary? I don't
- 33:20even know. I know the starter. I think he's Dustin
- 33:22Wolfe now Yeah, I don't even know who the backup
- 33:24would be and Dostoe is on he's only been Anaheim
- 33:28Where's where's Wolfe been? I'm not too familiar
- 33:32with him. He's I say he's young He's in Kadri
- 33:39never played for Anaheim Miller's out cuz he's
- 33:43never he only played for Anaheim Vancouver st.
- 33:46Louis and Buffalo Like a Brian Elliott did he
- 34:00ever play for Anaheim st. Louis Philadelphia?
- 34:06Did you say Dallas Cause I know in Dallas he
- 34:13did. Dallas. Calgary, yeah. My only solid guess
- 34:20right now is Eric and Branson. That's all I got.
- 34:29Oh sorry, what's right? Oh nice! Boom! Alright.
- 34:34You must hit it was a goalie. We were fucking
- 34:36we were dancing around it. No, it's Hillary.
- 34:39Yes, and jay shigar. Okay, I can choose either
- 34:42Branson Curtis McLean the other goalie. Yeah,
- 34:48Steve Monodore Wow What's more Toronto Anaheim?
- 34:52Yeah, okay shigar Joffrey loop. I haven't heard
- 34:55that name in a fucking minute stars. Okay, so
- 34:59Jonathan Brunier James Reimer Reimer Andre Cache,
- 35:04Luke Shen. Well, damn. Okay. I want to see what
- 35:10would have been more for Calgary Dallas, too.
- 35:14Because we jumped the auger right away. Joe Newendike,
- 35:17Christina for them, too. Brett Hall. James Neal.
- 35:21I didn't even realize Brett Hall played for Calgary.
- 35:24I only knew St. Louis and Dallas. Jimmy Craig.
- 35:29Tyler Pitlick. Yeah, that's about it for big
- 35:33names cool boys nine out of nine. No, let's let's
- 35:36get the pyramid to do the pyramid perfect Oh
- 35:46easy those people like it that fucking like,
- 35:49you know guy that played one game And then we
- 35:53were just talking about this the junior yet NCAA
- 35:57for both columns and then OHL and WHL for the
- 36:00rows. We got Tyler Parsons. Has he played a game
- 36:02yet on the NCAA? Let me check. Oh, we can't check.
- 36:06It's cheating. Well, he's the only name I can
- 36:09think of right now. Jackson. Jackson Parsons.
- 36:13Jackson Parsons. I'm sorry. Can't even type his
- 36:18name in. Okay, yeah, can't even type his name
- 36:24in. Okay. I don't have any guesses for this.
- 36:39Yeah, I got nothing I'm guessing it's probably
- 36:46just me players that have signed already Four
- 36:55players, that's it. That's all you got. And then
- 36:59for the WHL, a few more, but we had Duncan Keith
- 37:04from my Conrader. Yeah, I wouldn't even... Oh,
- 37:07Chuck Kobasu! I don't know who that is. Remember,
- 37:10he played for the Penguins in 2012 -2013. Did
- 37:13he really? I had no idea. Chuck Kobasu, wow.
- 37:17Never heard of him. Yeah, I saw it right there,
- 37:27Pittsburgh Penguins, yeah. Yeah, 2001, paid in
- 37:32the KHL for the knockout season. But yeah, oh,
- 37:3713 -14. 33 games with us. Two goals. Two goals
- 37:42for two points, and what is that? 15 penalty
- 37:45rates. Wow. Nice, that sounds like me and Joe.
- 37:49And 33, no, you had that one game, not 33 games.
- 37:51Yeah. No, damn bobo. It says 15, not 150. Awww.
- 37:58Alright, that was interesting. Sorry, I like
- 38:00to hit harder. We always love it when we get
- 38:03a perfect pokedoku. Yeah. Don't take that as
- 38:06a win. Alright, then I also had a, like a guessing,
- 38:11or like a, not a ranking, but like a guessing
- 38:13a top ten. Okay? If you're all ready. The top
- 38:17ten currently active goaltenders. with the most
- 38:21wins against the Boston Bruins. He is number
- 38:27five. Bob's not on the list, surprisingly. He's
- 38:31not on the list. This is courtesy of TBR Sports
- 38:35on TikTok. Follow them. I love those guys. He's
- 38:39number two. I'll put it up on the screen. You
- 38:59got Vassi at five, Flower at two. Okay. Flower
- 39:07at two? Yep. And Vassi at five. And you said
- 39:13active goaltenders, right? Yes. I'll tell you
- 39:16right now, the only one that I didn't get were
- 39:18eight and nine. Okay. Literally once I didn't
- 39:21get reading it. All right, so players we've got
- 39:24I Here's who guess we've guessed the Bob. We've
- 39:26guessed for a basia Let's go down I am a hot
- 39:34anaheim got Gibson would not be dasta will not
- 39:38be I But Buffalo definitely not Ouka definitely
- 39:43not Levi not be by I Carolina Not, oh Freddie.
- 39:50Freddie Anderson's number one. Wow. Yeah, Freddie
- 39:53Anderson's number one on the list. And the pack
- 40:01that came from Montreal, Jake Allen. No, not
- 40:04on the list. Calgary Markstrom. He's number ten.
- 40:08Number ten, okay. And Wolf. No, not on the list.
- 40:19Columbus would be... Elvis. Elvis wouldn't be
- 40:26on there. I was just naming. I doubt it was going
- 40:31to be there back. Elvis doesn't have any. I'm
- 40:36definitely skipping over teams. Colorado. Nope.
- 40:40Definitely by... He doesn't currently play for
- 40:45Colorado, but he did at one point. Darcy Kemper.
- 40:48No. I couldn't think of the other... Oh, Grubauer.
- 40:54No. I could be wrong. Let me double check. I
- 40:57believe he did play for Colorado at one point.
- 41:07Yeah, he did. Okay, he did play for Colorado
- 41:09at one point. We'll get back to it because you
- 41:14said he's still active. He's still going to be
- 41:16out there. I skipped over Chicago. The only person
- 41:19that has a chance would be Peter Masi, but I
- 41:21doubt it. Dallas would be daughter, but he's
- 41:25still too young and I don't even know who the
- 41:26fuck I'm talking about. Casey Smith. Dave Casey
- 41:28Smith, which is still fucked now. Detroit Red
- 41:31Wings. It would be Camp Talbot. Yes, Camp Talbot
- 41:35number seven. Number seven. Who else is going
- 41:44in? Detroit right now. Who so? Nobody else from
- 41:50Detroit. Edmonton, the only person that has a
- 41:53chance is Stuart Skinner. Florida, we've said
- 41:57the Bob already. Spencer Knight wouldn't have
- 42:00any. LA Kings. Oh, former LA King, Jonathan Quaid.
- 42:07Jonathan Quaid's number three. Number three.
- 42:16Who the goalies out in LA? Kemper and... Kemper's
- 42:21a no. Who's the other one? Nobody care in LA.
- 42:30Nobody care. Okay. Next up would be Minnesota.
- 42:39We already guessed the flower and I doubt that's...
- 42:42Gustafson has... Nope. Montreal, fuck no. Fuck
- 42:53no. Am I wrong? Nobody from Montreal? No. Nashville,
- 43:01UC hasn't paid a whole lot? No. I doubt Scotch
- 43:04Wedgewood either. Jersey. Former Jersey. Former
- 43:13Jersey. Get back to that. It'll come to us. Islanders,
- 43:20you got Sorokin. But it's... What's Sorokin?
- 43:25Sensanoff? No, uh, Simeon Varlamov. Varlamov,
- 43:28that's your former admin that you skipped over.
- 43:30Number four. I don't even know how to spell his
- 43:36name, but I don't give a fuck. Rangers, you got...
- 43:40Igor. Igor. And Jonathan Quick was on here. So,
- 43:46Igor would be the only opportunity. Nope. Okay,
- 43:50the Senators. These last three, I don't think
- 43:54you're gonna get it. I'll tell you that right
- 43:55now. I pulled number six out of my ass, just
- 44:00because of how long he's been around. Senators,
- 44:03no, because obviously Omar has played with Runes
- 44:06for so long, and I doubt he has the most wins.
- 44:09Flyers, nobody. San Jose, probably nobody. Oh,
- 44:14it's San Jose with that face. Don't look at San
- 44:18Jose's goalies, huh? Yeah, think of it. Who plays
- 44:23for San Jose right now? Listen, I've carried
- 44:25us to 7 up to 10. Give me a fucking break. I
- 44:29can't remember all six before fucking goaltending.
- 44:32Number six. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 44:36Do not say anything. Either back or to Vetechek.
- 44:39Both of them. Both of them. Both are eight and
- 44:41nine. Number six used to play for Toronto way
- 45:05back when early in his career Okay, well he's
- 45:12definitely not a name that you would think of
- 45:14nowadays Well Seattle st. Louis Tampa, Utah Vancouver
- 45:23Vegas the caps and the Jets not hell bug buck
- 45:29This guy just signed with a team recently It
- 45:36was claimed off of waivers recently Yeah, I did
- 45:40not want to pay, not Washington. Oh. Wasn't it,
- 45:46um... You didn't say Johansson? Not Johansson.
- 45:51Wouldn't it be Edith Hill? No. Think he spent
- 46:08some time in Detroit too, but he's mainly known
- 46:12for trying out early on his career. I think he
- 46:14spent some time with Detroit. Oh, Ned. Not Ned.
- 46:18He was the first one I said, oh he spent some
- 46:20time in Detroit. Okay, it was last year he spent
- 46:41time with Detroit, last year. Still doesn't fucking
- 46:43help, man. Spent time with Florida, Carolina,
- 46:46San Jose. Just was claimed off of waivers for
- 46:51Buffalo this past week. So you're just fucking
- 46:54giving it to us? No. No. Yeah. James Reimer is
- 47:01number six on that list. Jesus Christ. Fucking
- 47:08James Reimer. Shout out to TBR Sports on TikTok,
- 47:14that's where I got that from. I played along,
- 47:17I said the only one I didn't get was Vanessa.
- 47:19Can't remember if I ended up getting Blackwood
- 47:20or not. I was like, how the hell is Vanessa on
- 47:27that list but fucking Sergei Bobrovski isn't?
- 47:32Boston apparently just doesn't like playing against
- 47:34Vanessa apparently. Banachek, Vanessa, I don't
- 47:38know how to pronounce it to this day, so It's
- 47:49not a check band, it's a band of checks. Yeah,
- 47:55exactly What's that what's that mnemonic device
- 48:02is what they call that or something like that.
- 48:04Yeah, yeah. Where you use, like, whatever the
- 48:08friggin' is, like, Vana -chex, like we just did,
- 48:13you know, that's how you remember how to pronounce
- 48:15Vana -chex's name. Yeah. V -tec, Vana -check.
- 48:18Vana -check, got it. Alright. So, I don't know,
- 48:21that's how I remember it, so you do, you do.
- 48:23Yep. Alright, the other than that, I got nothing
- 48:25else. Other than to jump over to the NHL milestones.
- 48:30Jumping all the way over back to November 3rd,
- 48:34Vinny Churchak scored his 200th career goal and
- 48:37Nikolaj Ehlers became the highest scoring Danish
- 48:40player of all time with point number 474 passing
- 48:43Franz Nelson. On November 5th, Rasmus Delien
- 48:48reached the 300 point milestone and Nino Niederreiter
- 48:51skated in his 900th career game. Jack Thompson
- 48:56of the Sharks scored his first career NHL goal
- 48:58against the Blue Jackets. Quinn Hughes became
- 49:01the third fastest defenseman in history to reach
- 49:04300 assists doing so in just 376 games Behind
- 49:09Bobby or who did it in 346 and Brian Leach who
- 49:12did it in 368 on November 6th Brandon McNabb
- 49:16set the Vegas Golden Knights franchise record
- 49:18for games played at 515 November 7th The Winnipeg
- 49:25Jets became the second team in NHL history to
- 49:27win 13 of their first 14 games. Last team to
- 49:30do that? The 07 -08 Senators. Was that surprising?
- 49:34The Senators? It's like I forgot they were actually
- 49:36good at one point. Connor Hellenbuck recorded
- 49:40his 40th career shutout. Ivan Fedotov recorded
- 49:44his first career win. And Marc -Andre Fleury
- 49:48played in his 1029th game of his career, tying
- 49:51Patrick Waugh for third most in history amongst
- 49:54goaltenders, only trailing Bobby Liu at 1044,
- 49:59and Martin Brodeur at 1266. Brodeur played so
- 50:04many games now. On November 8th, Robbie Fabry
- 50:08scored his 100th career goal. On November 9th,
- 50:12Matthew Kachuck skated in his 600th career game.
- 50:16Scott Piranovic of the St. Louis Blues recorded
- 50:18his first career goal against the Capitals. Sam
- 50:22Bennett recorded his 300th career point with
- 50:24a goal against the Flyers. And the Jets improved
- 50:28to 14 -1 to set a new record for the best start
- 50:30to a season in NHL history. On the 10th, Mr.
- 50:36Jack Johnson himself played in his 1200th career
- 50:38game. On the 12th, Tim Stutza played in his 300th
- 50:43career game already. It doesn't feel like he's
- 50:45been around for that long already, but damn.
- 50:47And on the 13th, Ouel played in his 1000th career
- 50:49game. On the 14th, Jonathan Likeremaki of the
- 50:56Vancouver Canucks scored his first career goal
- 50:59against the Islanders. And Oscar Back of the
- 51:01Dallas Stars scored his first career goal against
- 51:03the Boston Bruins. Brock Faber played in his
- 51:06100th career game. And Andrei Vasileski became
- 51:09the fastest goaltender to reach 300 wins, doing
- 51:12so in just 490 games, surpassing the great jock's
- 51:18plunt. Connor McJesus himself recorded his 1000th
- 51:25career point, becoming the 4th fastest to reach
- 51:28that milestone, and the 99th player of all time
- 51:30to do it. Obviously Wayne Gretzky did it in 424
- 51:35games and then he did it again in 433 games.
- 51:40And then Mario Lemieux did it in 513. Bossy did
- 51:43it in 656 and McDavid in 659. So he almost was
- 51:48the third fastest. We just got a couple more
- 51:52points in a couple games here and there. Then
- 51:55Gina Schwartz scored his 200th career goal. On
- 51:58the 15th Marco Casper scored his first career
- 52:01NHL goal against the Ducks. And in the same game,
- 52:04Cutter Gautier, for the Ducks, scored his first
- 52:07career goal. And Dustin Wolf recorded his first
- 52:11career shutout, as well. And then on the 16th,
- 52:14Owen Pickering of the Penguins recorded his first
- 52:16career point with an assist to a Jesse Poliarvy
- 52:19goal. Eric Johnson played in his 1 ,000th career
- 52:23game. And Spencer Martin of the Carolina Hurricanes
- 52:26recorded his first career shutout. That is it
- 52:31for NHL Milestones. Nice. Alright, I have one
- 52:35more that I just found. One more. So, pick a
- 52:39team. Who do you think is going to win? You know,
- 52:42put it all on the line. Three on three. You've
- 52:46got on Team A, William Nylander, Mika Zbamchad,
- 52:50EK65, and Linus Almork. Our team Bs, Mikhail
- 52:55Granlin, Alexander Barkov, Miro Hiskinen, and
- 52:59UC Saros. We talking about current we talking
- 53:06about like In their prime in their prime with
- 53:11the way McGrennan's playing I think he's reaching
- 53:13his prime right about now how he's been playing
- 53:16this season He's also on our pretty shitty team.
- 53:19Did I say that allowed you can't fucking talk
- 53:21paying with your dog shit? Mean if we're talking
- 53:26prime you got to go team a yeah, that's no questions.
- 53:30I think that was kind of if we're going right
- 53:32now I'd say team B If we're going prime then
- 53:40team a everyone right now team B Now main topic
- 53:53we I didn't get everything together for what
- 53:56I had suggested because... Adulting sucks. Adulting
- 54:00sucks. So, I pulled up a couple things. I haven't
- 54:03even seen... I looked at them. I said, I think
- 54:05this is good enough. And I told them it's good
- 54:07enough. I'm sorry if it isn't. It's just... I'm
- 54:10trying to pull something out of my ass and I'm
- 54:11going to be completely honest with you. Hopefully
- 54:13the guys agree that it's... or say it's good.
- 54:16If not... We'll say it's good just because we're
- 54:18here for you. How does that sound? So, random
- 54:21quizzes. I kind of close out with them. I thought
- 54:24about talking about Sporacle at some point. But
- 54:27yeah, I just found it out. You know, I have two
- 54:29quizzes from Sporacle and I have two others,
- 54:31well, one other than Sportsnet and a fourth one
- 54:33that I don't even remember what it's called.
- 54:35Just pardon NHL quiz. Yeah. So we've got 10 minutes
- 54:39to answer 81 questions. Okay. Phil Kessel. I
- 54:47feel like we should have had some hot dogs if
- 54:48we knew there was medium on questions. I would
- 54:50have bought some on my way. Hot dogs and Pepsi.
- 54:54No, Coke. Two liters of Coke. That's all we need.
- 54:57Alright. Let's start it off. Austin Matthews.
- 55:04Yep. Least drafted who first overall in 2016?
- 55:06Who won the Heart Trophy? Who won... Oh, Austin
- 55:10Matthews won what trophy in 16 -17? Would that
- 55:13be the Colder? Did he win the Colder? I don't
- 55:17know. Did he or did Illini end up winning it?
- 55:23I thought Matthews won the Calder. Did he win
- 55:27it for the Calder? There's the heart, yeah okay.
- 55:31Beating out forward. Patrick Illini? Yep. Who
- 55:36plays for the one who was his maid. At the time
- 55:38it was the Winnipeg Jets, at the time. At the
- 55:42very bottom of this men at the time? Okay. Who's
- 55:45drafted? Who also drafted who 9th overall? In
- 55:482014. 2014. There's some names on there. Nakajiro,
- 55:56Barzawa, Ratan and Marner. EJ? No, not EJ. I
- 56:00don't think, no. Adam Larson, no. Yari Kiri?
- 56:06Paul Yarvey, no. Jonathan Druin, no. Justin Floyd,
- 56:10no. Nikolai Elers? Yeah, probably. Elers. Yeah,
- 56:13okay. Who played for which junior team in the
- 56:15queue? I think he's the only one on there. I'm
- 56:21trying to see. Yeah. Yeah, that's the only one.
- 56:24The same team with which current athlete? Nick
- 56:27McKinnon. Nick McKinnon. You're right there,
- 56:30right there. Who's just the first overall, what,
- 56:32your 2013? It's only here again. Yeah. What team
- 56:37won the Stanley Cup? Chicago. Chicago. Who sent
- 56:40this player out of the cage? Panarin. Right above
- 56:43it, right above it. Who won the Calder over which
- 56:46phenom? Who would have been the... McDavid? No,
- 56:51that was too soon. That was too soon. No, McDavid
- 56:54was drafted in 15. So he'd have been for the
- 56:5616 Calder. For the 15 -16 Calder. Well, we're
- 57:00talking about 13. The year 2013. 12 -13 season
- 57:03when Chicago won. No, he said who drafted this
- 57:06player in 15 -16 from the KHL. Oh, so that'd
- 57:09be it. So it would be McDavid then. Yeah. Who
- 57:12won the 16 -17 what trophy? The heart? I believe
- 57:17so, yeah. Or would it be the MVP? Did he win
- 57:23the heart or did he win the MVP? It would have
- 57:24been the heart. Because McDavid only won the
- 57:28MVP at the Smashing. Yeah, it would have been
- 57:30the heart. Also known as what? The MVP award.
- 57:34The heart is the MVP. No! The MVP was down there.
- 57:37You hit the MVP at the playoffs. Oh no! Restart
- 57:42hopefully it starts at the same question No,
- 57:49okay. Yeah, so I do Matthews Calder top right
- 57:55or top left sorry being out forward Patrick line.
- 58:00I play for the Jets down the bottom You have
- 58:05a ninth overall Nikol Nikolai Ehlers It's their
- 58:09junior team Halifax Played on McKinnon. Middle
- 58:17left. First over on 2013. Same year, what team
- 58:22won the Cup? Chicago. Signing this player out
- 58:25of the cage off of the 15 -16 season, yeah. Panarin.
- 58:30Cold over this phenom, McDavid. Won the heart.
- 58:35It's also known as the MVP award. Okay, now we're
- 58:37back, okay. Who was, which was won the previous
- 58:40year by... So who won the MVP in 15 -16? Is that
- 58:47the year Crosby won it? Kuturov, Rankin, Barzol,
- 58:53Lemieux, obviously not Lemieux. I feel like this
- 58:56one might have been Crosby. No? Who the fuck
- 59:02would have won it in 2016? Kuturov? I think that
- 59:06would have been too soon. Giroud maybe? Patty
- 59:08Kane? Maybe Patty Kane. Damn well we failed that
- 59:12one And we'll go on to the next one NHL hardest
- 59:16quiz ever the hardest NHL quiz ever 20 questions
- 59:20in 18 minutes That one who is the first player
- 59:33to use a one -piece composite stick in an NHL
- 59:36game Okay, I had no idea when they would have
- 59:41started using these. Probably 30s. Maybe a lot
- 59:46earlier. No. No? No. Or later? I don't know.
- 59:53Maybe 50s? Not in here. I'm between the top two.
- 1:00:00That's right. I'm between Danny Heatley All -Star
- 1:00:03and Scott Gomez. I was thinking of going towards
- 1:00:06Heatley. It was Scott Gomez. Motherfucker. Who
- 1:00:14are the fourth most short -handed goals? What?
- 1:00:18In 1971, 1972. How do we know any of these names,
- 1:00:22bro? Bill Fairbairn, Jimmy Roberts, Derek Simmerson?
- 1:00:26Chris. Just for the name. Ah. What's your goalie?
- 1:00:37In 93 -94 had the most goals against. The only
- 1:00:40name I know is Bob Esinza. Because I think he
- 1:00:43was a fucking emergency goalie at one point.
- 1:00:46That's the only reason I know that name. Alright,
- 1:00:48well. Fuck! I wasn't going to say that for an
- 1:00:50answer. What does Mike kill? What the fuck? What
- 1:00:55the fuck are these questions, bro? How the fuck
- 1:00:57are we supposed to know this? What is Mike Kamelari's
- 1:01:00middle name? I don't fucking know. Anderson?
- 1:01:04Anthony. Anthony. Anthony. Hey! That's the one
- 1:01:08we get! Okay. Who was, in 2006, 2007, who was
- 1:01:12the second highest point scorer in the Chicago
- 1:01:14Blackhawks? Rue2. Rue2. I honestly want to say
- 1:01:17that one was Rue2. Fuck! Ruebata. Who was the
- 1:01:22120th pick in the 2003 NHL Draft? Paul Mr. Nett?
- 1:01:28I'm gonna say Paul Mr. Nett, yeah. Paul! 2005
- 1:01:33-2006 Blue Jackets captain. I want to say Yann
- 1:01:37Hardina. Okay. Who? Adam Futton, motherfuck.
- 1:01:43Who was the first player? Andrew Day -Her -Dan.
- 1:01:45I know that one. Andrew Day -Her -Dan. I know
- 1:01:47- WHAT?! Oh, did it say the first one? Yeah.
- 1:01:50Which one of these did he not play for? Mike
- 1:01:53Sillinger did not play for it. I want to say...
- 1:01:58Preds? I want to say Ottawa. We should probably
- 1:02:06be reading the questions out loud too. Which
- 1:02:08of these... I did. Which of these teams did Mike
- 1:02:10Sillinger not play for? Well, this isn't helping
- 1:02:12because all four of us have four different fucking
- 1:02:14answers. What are you saying? An answer! I mean,
- 1:02:20I don't fucking know. I'd say Ottawa, but Atlanta,
- 1:02:24sure. Oh, fuck, all right. Who had the best shooting
- 1:02:28percentage in 2000 and 2001? Gary Roberts, Joe
- 1:02:31Thorne, Alex Tate, Gay or Keith Primo? Just because.
- 1:02:33Just because. I'd say Keith Primo. Oh. Gary Roberts.
- 1:02:38Okay. Which of these players awarded five or
- 1:02:41more penalty shots and never scored a single
- 1:02:43one? I feel like wearing Gavrin. Marty saying
- 1:02:47that we would score and respond Rick Nash is
- 1:02:49already scoring one. So I know it's not those
- 1:02:51two So it's either Gabbard or Milan Milan. Hey,
- 1:02:54Duke. Hey Duke. What's going on? Yeah, I'll say
- 1:02:57Gabbard. Yeah It's me. Hey saying the what? See
- 1:03:03that we never scored on a penalty shot. That's
- 1:03:06well, which is more major penalties Joey koser
- 1:03:13Tim Hunter, Paul Laws, I want to go with Tim
- 1:03:17Hunter. Who had the most power play goals in
- 1:03:231984 and 1985? I don't fucking know. Del Harichuk?
- 1:03:28I agree. What team finished third last in the
- 1:03:3478 -79 season? So who's the third worst team
- 1:03:37in the 78 -79 season? The Colorado Rockies. Of
- 1:03:44course. In the 2006 draft, where was centerman
- 1:03:48Matthew Perot selected? 83rd, 177th, 101st, or
- 1:03:53206th? I don't fucking know. 177. Hey! How many
- 1:03:59games did right winger Brady call the play in?
- 1:04:03Three. It's fucking zero, I swear to you. Are
- 1:04:07you fucking kidding me? Who roasted the worst
- 1:04:11plus -minus in a single season at negative 82?
- 1:04:18I feel like they're trying to trick us with that
- 1:04:20name. I would say Jeff O 'Neil. That's for what
- 1:04:22I'm lying. Oh my god. Who scored the first...
- 1:04:38I know this one, this one I believe is Nick Antropov.
- 1:04:42I knew that one. Who is the second overall pick
- 1:04:45in the 1995 entry draft? Shane Doane is a decent
- 1:04:49answer. Wade Redden is also a decent answer.
- 1:04:54Shane Doane is the only name I know on here.
- 1:04:57Go with Doane, but I guarantee it's probably
- 1:05:00Redden. 5 for 20. Woo! The average is 30%, yeah,
- 1:05:08fucking right. That was so fucking ridiculously
- 1:05:12hard. Let's put a different one on Sparkle before
- 1:05:14we do the other two, because that one was unnecessarily
- 1:05:17hard for no reason. Yeah, no shit. No shit, that
- 1:05:23was hard. Okay, yeah, let's try that one. Okay,
- 1:05:29that's interesting. See, that one was just posted
- 1:05:31five minutes ago, so it was actually pretty...
- 1:05:33Accurate, hopefully. Alright, okay, okay. Also,
- 1:05:40we literally have to just click and drag them,
- 1:05:41I'm guessing. So, thrashers to Winnipeg Jets.
- 1:05:44That's the reason. 97. Well, when did Winnipeg
- 1:05:51go to Phoenix? 96, I thought. No, it was Hartford
- 1:06:00to Carolina in 97. Probably yeah, okay, so then
- 1:06:04I may I wouldn't peg to Phoenix 96 I know Quebec
- 1:06:17the Nordics to Colorado's either 95 or 96 Well,
- 1:06:21when did Colorado win their first cup? That's
- 1:06:25what that's what I'm saying is because they won
- 1:06:26it the first night 96 cuz deep I remember Ethan
- 1:06:29bragging Oh Detroit wanted both 97 and not in
- 1:06:32the 98 because that was the last was back back
- 1:06:34so nice. Yes, and I remember Colorado won it
- 1:06:38the first year they They made it they get Colorado
- 1:06:42Rockies to the New Jersey Devils. I want to say
- 1:06:44that might have been 93 or that might should
- 1:06:46be right right there. I don't know the Auto Center's
- 1:06:50to the st. Louis Eagles Atlanta flames are the
- 1:06:53Calgary flames that would have been because the
- 1:06:55flames won their first and only in 1989 or 1988
- 1:07:02so then it would have been you know 1982 before
- 1:07:06yeah okay to the devil's I'd say maybe switch
- 1:07:12those two switch to 1882 currently So that means
- 1:07:21North stars to Dallas stars in 93 It sounds right
- 1:07:24because the Mighty Ducks wasn't came out 192
- 1:07:28Or was they that came out a little bit later
- 1:07:30looks the Penguins beat the North stars in their
- 1:07:33first year in the first in the 1990 91 season
- 1:07:37Sorry, and the option 92 is an option. So I feel
- 1:07:39you'd have to be 93 So here's what we have so
- 1:07:43far 1980 and Lance's McCalvary Not 82 Colorado
- 1:07:48Rockies and Devils New Jersey Devils 93 Minnesota
- 1:07:51to Dallas 95 the original Jets to Phoenix 96
- 1:07:57Quebec to Colorado 97 Hartford to Carolina and
- 1:08:022011 is the Thrasher's to down I almost want
- 1:08:05to switch the North Stars and the Jets again.
- 1:08:08I put the North Stars to Dallas in 95 Because
- 1:08:13when did the Mighty Ducks come out? Want to say
- 1:08:15that came out in 94 and they were still the Minnesota
- 1:08:18North Stars in that movie So I wanted so I almost
- 1:08:23want to switch down to 95 even maybe even then
- 1:08:25to 96 No, 96 is definitely off. I'm sorry. I
- 1:08:32think that's about it These bottom three are
- 1:08:34for sure different like so I would want to possibly
- 1:08:36switch the 93 95 Cuz when did when did the Mighty
- 1:08:41Ducks movie come out? I want to say he's 90.
- 1:08:43I was in 91 91. I thought it was 94 Okay That
- 1:08:52night so that go back was the original 16, but
- 1:08:56then they folded Okay, all right that franchise
- 1:09:01folded I thought the Golden Seals were 76 to
- 1:09:08Cleveland Okay, I Think this might be it I think
- 1:09:19this might be the perfect list. Oh So was it
- 1:09:26switch those two How is that one wrong it's cuz
- 1:09:34we got it wrong the first time also it's green,
- 1:09:36okay So we are so we were we were one off on
- 1:09:39that one So it was the final the final final
- 1:09:45results Quebec Bulldogs to Hamilton in 1920 the
- 1:09:50Pittsburgh Pirates to the Quaker Philadelphia
- 1:09:52Quakers in 1930 the original Auto Center's the
- 1:09:57st. Louis Eagles in 34 the California Gold Seals
- 1:10:01to Cleveland Barons and Kansas City Scouts to
- 1:10:04Colorado Rockies in 76 Atlanta Flames to Calgary
- 1:10:08in 80 Rockies to New Jersey in 82, Minnesota
- 1:10:14to Dallas in 93, and Quebec to Colorado in 95.
- 1:10:19Then Jets to Coyotes in 96. I knew the Nordiques
- 1:10:23in Colorado was 95, 96. Then the Whalers to the
- 1:10:29Hurricanes in 97, and then obviously the Thrasher's
- 1:10:31and the Jets in 2011. And now the more recent
- 1:10:34one, if they were on this list. Arizona to Utah
- 1:10:40now All right now we got a quiz from Sportsnet's
- 1:10:44website also titled hardest hockey quiz ever
- 1:10:48So uh Let's give it a shot. Oh, we got some warm
- 1:10:54-up questions. Thank you so much. Which goalie
- 1:10:56has the most career Vezna trophies? Dominik Hasek,
- 1:11:00Terry Satchuk, Glenn Haller, Jacques Plante I
- 1:11:05was going to say Jacques Plante. Who's the first
- 1:11:12defenseman in history to reach 1 ,000? Bobby
- 1:11:15or Ray? I was going to say Bobby. I don't know.
- 1:11:22I don't think Bobby made it. a thousand points.
- 1:11:26So I'm gonna say Bork. Yeah, you might actually
- 1:11:29be right. It could be Podlin too, but I'm gonna
- 1:11:31say Bork. Which franchise did not enter that
- 1:11:33any shelter in the sixth team expansion in 67?
- 1:11:35Obviously Buffalo. Yeah. Sidney Crosby. I already
- 1:11:39know that one. Only player to record a hundred
- 1:11:42points and a hundred penalty minutes in his rookie
- 1:11:44season. That is your boy Sidney Crosby. Who's
- 1:11:46the first player to play for all three teams
- 1:11:48based in the state of New York? Paolo Lafontaine.
- 1:11:53Is he? You already have it? Yep. Alright, first
- 1:11:57period. Okay, that's a bunch of different categories.
- 1:12:00Who was the first player in history to score
- 1:12:01three short -handed goals in one game? I believe
- 1:12:04that it's Theo Flurry. I believe so. Which player
- 1:12:10has the most Stanley Cups without ever having
- 1:12:12played for the Montreal Canadiens? Wayne? That
- 1:12:15was my answer. I was gonna say Wayne Gretzky.
- 1:12:17That's either that or Red Kelly. I was going
- 1:12:21to say, because during the 80s, how many cups
- 1:12:23did the Oilers have there? Between the Oilers
- 1:12:26and... I think they only, I think Gretzky only
- 1:12:29has like four. Well, how much does Rick Kelly
- 1:12:33have? Well, he played for Detroit in Detroit's
- 1:12:36early days when Detroit was winning a lot in
- 1:12:38the original six era. Or is it Satchik? I thought
- 1:12:44Satchik did play for the Montreal Canadiens.
- 1:12:47Without having never played through the Montreal
- 1:12:49canadians. Yeah, I thought it's not Chuck did
- 1:12:50though He was he knew Chicago Was he Chicago
- 1:12:56and Toronto? It might might be so it might be
- 1:13:00saw Chuck then Because I think saw Chuck was
- 1:13:04yeah, it's gonna sound check Toronto and Chicago
- 1:13:06was the first player to record 300 penalty minutes
- 1:13:09in a season defaults. There's a tiger Williams
- 1:13:13Dave Schultz One of the original boss. I what
- 1:13:16created the broad -street bullies back in the
- 1:13:18day. He's the biggest goon out of all the boys
- 1:13:21First US based franchise to be granted membership
- 1:13:25into the NHL Boston Detroit the Rangers and the
- 1:13:28Americans Well, they're Americans. Oh Was a New
- 1:13:33York Americans part of that those teams that
- 1:13:35was like pre -original six Yeah, and it's all
- 1:13:39sound in like 7 1917 or 1920 whatever was yeah,
- 1:13:42cuz I it was either the Rangers were created
- 1:13:46to compete with the Americans or the Americans
- 1:13:49are great to beat with the Rangers I want to
- 1:13:51say was the New York Americans Which go tender
- 1:13:57did Wayne Gorski score the most goals on in his
- 1:14:00career broader Vernon McQueen and I'm Daniel
- 1:14:04birth from a I'm gonna say Mike Vernon. That's
- 1:14:12the only one that that played for a long amount
- 1:14:15of time that I know of that would be a potential
- 1:14:17answer. Yeah. Second period. One more time Bradore
- 1:14:23was selected 20th overall in the 1990, I almost
- 1:14:25said 1920, the 1990 draft. He was the second
- 1:14:29goal he selected who was the first. Felix Potvan,
- 1:14:33Trevor Kidd, Jamie - Excuse me, Jamie Storr and
- 1:14:37Olaf Kolzig. I was between the top two. I was
- 1:14:44between Trevor Kidd and Felix Potvin. Felix the
- 1:14:46cat, Potvin. Let's go with Potvin. After Cindy
- 1:14:51Crosby, which players selected in the 2005 draft,
- 1:14:54currently has the most career regular season
- 1:14:56points. Ryan Kessel. Copetar or Taze? I want
- 1:15:01to say it's Copetar. I was gonna say I think
- 1:15:02it's Copetar. I don't think it's, I don't think
- 1:15:04Kessel ever even broke a thousand yet. Well,
- 1:15:08I was gonna say Taze was drafted in 06, 07. Copetar
- 1:15:12was 03, right? I think he was the same draft
- 1:15:16as Flory. I thought Copetar was the same draft
- 1:15:21as... I thought Copetar was 05. Bobby Ryan is
- 1:15:25definitely 05. So wait, well we can take out
- 1:15:28Johnny Taze. out of this because he wasn't in
- 1:15:31the middle of a five draft for sure. Phil Kessel.
- 1:15:34I can't remember what year he was drafted in.
- 1:15:36Honestly, it was like 2007. So Kessel and Payes
- 1:15:39are both out because... I want to say... I want
- 1:15:42to say it's Kopitar. Honestly, I think it's Kopitar.
- 1:15:46Yeah, I'm gonna third that. Are you leaning more
- 1:15:49towards Bobby Ryan? Yeah, but I'm gonna be outnumbered,
- 1:15:51so it's fine. Who's the first American -born
- 1:15:55player to captain a team to the Stanley Cup?
- 1:15:57Brian Leach, Darren Hatcher, Mike Padano, and
- 1:16:00Mark Howe. What did... Howe? Mark Howe? I did...
- 1:16:04Madonna never won a cup. Oh, I thought he did.
- 1:16:07I thought he did with Dallas. 99. Okay. Brian
- 1:16:12Leach would have done it with the Rangers in
- 1:16:1494 or 93. Darian Hatcher, I'm not sure on, and
- 1:16:19Mark Howe, I'm not sure on. So it would have
- 1:16:21been... Want to say it's Brian Lee. Yeah Which
- 1:16:25player has been traded for Chris Pronger twice?
- 1:16:27Joffrey Luple, Justin Benner, Brennan Sheehan
- 1:16:32They did this question I can't remember if it
- 1:16:39was on if it was on bar down or if it was on
- 1:16:42post to post productions I wanted to say it's
- 1:16:48Luple Espacito? I think it was Espacito. Espacito
- 1:17:07with a question mark. Who's recorded the most
- 1:17:20points in the standing cup final? Richard, Wayne
- 1:17:25Gretzky, Brian Trachet, and Gene Blavio. Jean
- 1:17:28Beliveau? Yeah. I want to say it could be Beliveau
- 1:17:33because he was part of that run with the Maples,
- 1:17:38the Canadians, where they won fucking nine cups
- 1:17:39in a matter of like 12 years. But then again,
- 1:17:43Maurice Richard, you know. Was also part of that.
- 1:17:46But if not, the Richard is named after him, he
- 1:17:48never won. Who is the last member of the Montreal
- 1:18:14Canadiens to score 50 goals in a single season?
- 1:18:18Gila for Matt Matt's Nazlund Stefan Richter or
- 1:18:23Steve shut It's I'm between Lafleur and Richter.
- 1:18:28That's what I was between. I want to say Gila
- 1:18:31for I'll say Lafleur. Yeah Who holds the record
- 1:18:34for most consecutive wins by a goaltender in
- 1:18:36the Stanley Cup final? Turd Broda Ken Dryden
- 1:18:40Billy Smith or grant for I'm between the bottom
- 1:18:45two on this one, between Billy Smith and Grant
- 1:18:47Fehr. I was leaning more towards Grant Fehr than
- 1:18:49Billy Smith. Let's go for Grant Fehr then. And
- 1:18:52then, which of these goalies has the most career
- 1:18:55ties? Glenn Hall, Patrick Watt, Dajah Klan, and
- 1:19:00Tony Esquicido. This one I almost want to say
- 1:19:05Watt for this one, just because of how long he
- 1:19:08played and he's not even like top three in wins
- 1:19:10or whatever. Just even with how long he played.
- 1:19:13So that'd be my guess is that he just had a lot
- 1:19:14of ties. That's my only. Over time. Over time,
- 1:19:19yeah. This is gonna be the last one we're gonna
- 1:19:21have. This is page 505, so these are the last
- 1:19:22ones. Alright. Which of these top 20 all -time
- 1:19:25career leaders and goals had the best single
- 1:19:27season mark? Brendan Shanahan, Mike Gartner,
- 1:19:31Mark Recky, or Mark Messier? Probably Messier.
- 1:19:35Leader in goals. Well Shanahan played well into
- 1:19:39the mid -slate 2000s Yeah Mark Ruckey did as
- 1:19:43well. Yeah. Yeah missy I think didn't even make
- 1:19:46it past the lockout and I don't know how long
- 1:19:49Gartner made it into the NHL or I think he was
- 1:19:54played for the capitalists for a long time and
- 1:19:56did very well for a long time with them Goals
- 1:20:01and those points. I think I'd go Shanahan but
- 1:20:05Mean goals. I still want to go Shanahan too.
- 1:20:07Let's go Shanahan, fuck it. Which team holds
- 1:20:10the record of 35 game regular season unbeaten
- 1:20:13streak with the 77 -78 Montreal Canadiens, 79
- 1:20:17-80 Philadelphia Flyers, the 84 -85 Edmonton
- 1:20:21Oilers, or the 87 -88 Boston Brews. I want to
- 1:20:25say the 84 -85 Oilers because that was right
- 1:20:27when they're starting their finals. Was between
- 1:20:31that or the flyers sadly one of them one of the
- 1:20:34fires when they're back -to -back was it 78 79
- 1:20:36or 77 78 Sometimes or was it like 80 81 it was
- 1:20:4280 81 was their fires back -to -back. Yeah No,
- 1:20:50cuz no no the fires weren't in like 1975 like
- 1:20:5374 75 was there back -to -back. Oh, that's right
- 1:20:56Cuz I just remember the meme with Cindy Crosby
- 1:20:59That'll be 1975 please. Who was the last team
- 1:21:10made up of entirely Canadian -born players to
- 1:21:13win the Stanley Cup? We've got the 71 -72 Bruins,
- 1:21:18the 74 -75 Flyers, the 77 -78 Montreal Canadiens,
- 1:21:23and the 80 -81 New York Islanders. I'll just
- 1:21:31say the Canadians. Yeah, that's what my first
- 1:21:33thought was. The first defenseman to win the
- 1:21:37Con Smythe. Pierre Pollard, Bobby Orr, Serge
- 1:21:41Savard, or Guy LaPointe. Probably Bobby Orr,
- 1:21:45yeah. Which player holds the record for goals
- 1:21:49by a rookie in a single postseason? I want to
- 1:21:52say that's Mike Bossi. I was just about to say,
- 1:21:54I wonder if... I do want to say it's Bossi, yeah.
- 1:21:57And then who, last but not least, who holds the
- 1:22:00NHL records for most career regular season power
- 1:22:03play goals? Esposito, Yager, Eindrchuk, or Gartner?
- 1:22:08I would say that one sounds like Yager. Honestly,
- 1:22:13yeah. That's either Yager or Esposito. What did
- 1:22:19we get? 36%. Question one we got right with...
- 1:22:26it was poppin i said poppin could have been the
- 1:22:28answer for that one okay sabers we got right
- 1:22:32crowds be the player mike donnelly was the play
- 1:22:36for all three new york teams first player just
- 1:22:40sure handles with steele flurry i was right on
- 1:22:41that i don't know i thought we we set pat long
- 1:22:44frontain for we did and i was wrong do we not
- 1:22:52get to see the rest of the Okay, I guess we don't
- 1:22:55get to see the rest of the answers. Cool. Hold
- 1:23:00on. There's gotta be a way. Is there like a bar
- 1:23:08on the right side there? No. There's absolutely
- 1:23:14nothing. Really not? How do we? Okay. So we don't
- 1:23:18get to see. Alright. Oh, we still got one more
- 1:23:24quiz up there. Hold on, I have an idea. I have
- 1:23:26an idea. Please hold while I transfer your call.
- 1:23:32Wait, email the results to yourself or whatever?
- 1:23:37Alright, please hold. We'll be right back. After
- 1:23:40no messages. Alright, we figured it out. Alright.
- 1:23:44I thought we had... I don't remember choosing
- 1:23:46red... Or did we get that one right? Oh, we did
- 1:23:48get that one right. Okay. Heard. The check marks
- 1:23:51are messing me up now. All right, Dave Schultz
- 1:23:54was right If Americans was wrong, or is it that's
- 1:23:59wrong? Okay. Well this unfortunately doesn't
- 1:24:02seem like it's gonna gonna work in our favor
- 1:24:04Yeah, we can't figure out how to get the correct
- 1:24:07answers for sorry, but this one is on fun trivia
- 1:24:11calm again also titled hardest ultimate NHL trivia
- 1:24:16quiz So let's get started with this one Who won
- 1:24:20the Jack Adams Award for the best coach of the
- 1:24:22year in 2000 and 2003? Who won the cup that year?
- 1:24:27Was that in New Jersey that year? That was New
- 1:24:30Jersey. Oh yeah. So I want to say it might have
- 1:24:33been Pat Burns. Okay. OneHL team was the first
- 1:24:38American team to ever enter the NHL. This would
- 1:24:41have been the Rangers. Right? Because we got
- 1:24:43it. Yeah. Because remember, you got it wrong
- 1:24:48in this one. Which of the following players does
- 1:24:58not belong in the group of four before 1990 Stanley
- 1:25:02Cup victories? The Rangers. What was the St.
- 1:25:25Louis Blues Arena called in 2004? Which of these
- 1:25:40players was not chosen first overall by the Ottawa
- 1:25:43Senators? Dagle was, I know that one for some
- 1:25:46weird reason, and I believe Yashin was too. Chris
- 1:25:50Phillips? No, he... I want to say... He was later.
- 1:25:55Phillips was later? I thought he was later. So
- 1:25:57you want to say it was Phillips? Okay. You're
- 1:26:02saying he was not chosen first overall, is what
- 1:26:03you're saying, Chris Phillips? Correct. Okay.
- 1:26:07In which city did the Flames play before, Calgary?
- 1:26:09Would you go tenders Nick which go tenders nickname
- 1:26:12was the moose Yohan Hedberg? Gee Herbert or Hibbert
- 1:26:16Olaf Kolzig or Robert ash? Yohan moose Hedberg
- 1:26:27Gee the moose Herbert Olaf the moose Kolzig Which
- 1:26:53of the following players had the fewest goals
- 1:26:59during their rookie season? Pavel beret, Eric
- 1:27:04Lindros, Timu Solani I Know beret went off his
- 1:27:10I know Timo has the record I'm pretty sure he
- 1:27:13saw the record 76 I Want to say it's Eric Lindros.
- 1:27:19I feel like they might be trying to throw us
- 1:27:21off by throwing that random Tony Amante name
- 1:27:23in there So I want to go to Lindros. Wait, hold
- 1:27:26on Okay, so it does do that for it, okay So yeah,
- 1:27:34we were given a hints on question number seven,
- 1:27:37which was the move go tenders making the moose
- 1:27:40So takes away two answers. It took off gear bird
- 1:27:42and Robert Ash So of course the one that I said
- 1:27:45it could also be he's still on that honestly
- 1:27:47was the two I was between honestly Do we want
- 1:27:49to switch that to Olaf or do we want to keep
- 1:27:52it at you on ice? I think it just fits all yeah,
- 1:27:58I think we let Hedberg go, you know, let it go
- 1:28:01and do it All right, so what's going on? What
- 1:28:05are some other ones that we're not sure on? We
- 1:28:07still have two more hints to use. Well, off that
- 1:28:10one question. Yeah, they all say hints. Well,
- 1:28:13if you click one more, I might say one hit left.
- 1:28:17Let's use it on number four, because I'm not
- 1:28:18positive on if it's DeSavis. Oh, so it could
- 1:28:23be DeSavis Center, unless they're trying to throw
- 1:28:25us off and there was two Bell Centers, but...
- 1:28:27Does that thing launch all this technically Lysantre
- 1:28:30Bell? technically but translated to english yeah
- 1:28:34so it could be all right and then five i'm not
- 1:28:39100 positive on both right now we have one hit
- 1:28:42now well no kyle said that yeah we have one left
- 1:28:45pretty positive also we know number six we know
- 1:28:48that the flurry question you did on this one
- 1:28:50number five yeah either we do number five or
- 1:28:53number ten number five or number ten I say number
- 1:29:01five. I say five. That's not Phillips, okay.
- 1:29:09Berard, maybe? Let's say Berard, yeah. Yeah.
- 1:29:13Because the Ashen sounds familiar. Alright, let's
- 1:29:16submit. First one was not Pat Burns, it was Jacques
- 1:29:23Lemire for the coach of the year. First American
- 1:29:27team was technically the Boston Bruins. All of
- 1:29:30the Montreal Maroons in the league's first expansion
- 1:29:32in 1924 1925 It was Wayne Gretzky did not does
- 1:29:38not belong in the group before before 1990 Traded
- 1:29:43before the oilers won the fifth cup in 90 L Devitt
- 1:29:46two pairs won all five championships with the
- 1:29:48Oilers So you're seeing never end up winning
- 1:29:50with the Oilers with the he didn't win the fifth
- 1:29:53He got traded to LA that that's either I'm confused
- 1:30:01on the wording of that question, but okay. When
- 1:30:06the Oilers won in 1990, the 89 -90 season, Wayne
- 1:30:11Gretzky was not on that team. Right. The other
- 1:30:14three were. So they're not including Wayne Gretzky
- 1:30:17in the 1990 team. Okay. Or the 89 -90 cup winning
- 1:30:22team. Because again, that trade to LA, that happened.
- 1:30:28It was Alexi Ashen. I said the first thing when
- 1:30:38you think of a moose is the head. And then it
- 1:30:51was Scott Niedermeier who was the captain of
- 1:30:52the 0304 Eastern All -Star Team. You don't have
- 1:31:00that that other sparkle one pulled up and so
- 1:31:02we could try to finish that one real quick. I
- 1:31:04don't read a click All right. Well, I did have
- 1:31:09one other thing really quickly here I Have a
- 1:31:15year a draft class I'm gonna start it's like
- 1:31:18a list of like 20 30 players here I'm gonna start
- 1:31:20at the lowest number overall pick that they have
- 1:31:23we got to try to name the year Okay. Drafted
- 1:31:27291st was Brian Elliott. 271st was Yaroslav Holak.
- 1:31:35245th was Dustin Bufflin. 239th was Tobias Enström.
- 1:31:442005 was Joe Pavelski. Any guesses yet? 2000
- 1:31:54and... I want to say 02 or 03. Final answer.
- 1:32:00I'm gonna say... 03. That was my peck, 03. 03.
- 1:32:08Okay. Rest of it, Lee Stepniak was 148th, Jimmy
- 1:32:13Howard was 64th, David Back is 62nd, 52nd Corey
- 1:32:17Crawford, 49th Shay Weber, 45th Patrice Bergeron.
- 1:32:2233rd Louie Erickson 28th Katy Perry 26th Brian
- 1:32:27Boyle 24th Mike Richards and then the first some
- 1:32:31of these on the top 20 are just ridiculous Ryan
- 1:32:33Kessler, Brett Burns, Ryan Getslav, Zach Prese,
- 1:32:37Brett Seabrook, Dustin Brown, Jeff Carter, Dion
- 1:32:40Fanaf, Braden Coburn, Ryan Suter, Milan Mikolek
- 1:32:45Thomas Vanek, Nathan Horn, Eric Stahl and obviously
- 1:32:50MAF That's oh three. That's what you said. Oh,
- 1:32:54I'm sorry. I thought you this enough another
- 1:32:56one No, he said oh three. No, it's correct. Okay?
- 1:33:00Yeah, all those got that whole draft class is
- 1:33:02just ridiculous Yeah, but that Brian Elliott
- 1:33:05and got it just played his last year playing
- 1:33:07last year still on that list too It's I don't
- 1:33:11know. It's it's crazy to think I Was wrong on
- 1:33:14who I thought was gonna blow out this game that
- 1:33:16bangles chargers. I thought the bangles are gonna
- 1:33:17blow him out. Nope Chargers up 24 to 6 Anyways,
- 1:33:22I think that does it for this week. I got nothing
- 1:33:25else. I know our brains hurt after that stupid
- 1:33:28ass quiz. Who is drafted 149th in 1920? Like
- 1:33:32what? Oh, Otis is gonna say goodbye. Otis is
- 1:33:38gonna do the outro for us this week. Oh, now
- 1:33:42you're silent. You jerk. Alright, that's it.
- 1:33:47We'll see you guys next week. or weeks when we're
- 1:33:50not mentally physically or vocally dead same

- 1:34:15will not see you guys again in november so all
- 1:34:17right um Yeah, hope you guys enjoyed this episode.

- 1:34:23Snapchat, not Snapchat. Twitter, Instagram, YouTube,
- 1:34:26you know where to look, you know where to find
- 1:34:27us. Yeah, thank you guys for listening. See you
