Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / CLEAR & PRESENT DANGER: Biden Allowing Terrorists to Roam Free in USA After Being Caught
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: So have you ever wondered what happens to terrorists that
- 0:04Speaker 1: are caught illegally crossing the border. Have you ever wonder, like,
- 0:08Speaker 1: do we do anything to stop them or to find
- 0:11Speaker 1: out if they may be planning something? Under Biden's America
- 0:16Speaker 1: right where we have a wide open border and we're
- 0:18Speaker 1: catching now you know, ten twelve, fifteen terrists a month
- 0:22Speaker 1: coming across the southern border. Yeah, they're not planning anything.
- 0:25Speaker 1: They're just wanted to come to a better country, right,
- 0:27Speaker 1: the same terraces that hate America and say death to
- 0:29Speaker 1: America and Ala akbar. Yeah, they're coming into this country.
- 0:33Speaker 1: They're on the terrorists watch list. But what do we
- 0:34Speaker 1: actually do. Well, here's something that's going to scare the
- 0:37Speaker 1: hell out of you. There is a new story that
- 0:41Speaker 1: has just hit. This story coming from the Daily Caller
- 0:45Speaker 1: and their investigation group, terrasts caught illegally crossing the border.
- 0:51Speaker 1: We're allowed to roam free for nearly a year. A
- 0:53Speaker 1: new memo states that's right, federal authorities caught a terrorist
- 1:00Speaker 1: at the US southern border, this is under Biden's America
- 1:04Speaker 1: and released the terrorists into the country, where the terrorists
- 1:10Speaker 1: roamed freely for nearly a year before being arrested in
- 1:14Speaker 1: Minnesota just days ago. That according to an internal federal
- 1:20Speaker 1: memo exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation, the
- 1:25Speaker 1: unnamed terrorists who the memo only identifies the member of
- 1:30Speaker 1: the Somali terror group Al Shabab, which by the way,
- 1:34Speaker 1: hates America and has no problem telling you they want
- 1:36Speaker 1: to kill every American and you know they just want
- 1:39Speaker 1: to like blow us up. But don't worry about that.
- 1:41Speaker 1: We let this guy just hang out for a year.
- 1:43Speaker 1: He was released shortly after being caught illegally crossing the
- 1:47Speaker 1: southern border in California on March the thirteenth of twenty
- 1:51Speaker 1: twenty three. Okay, so March thirteenth of last year, look
- 1:55Speaker 1: at the date today. According to the memo, the DCNF
- 2:01Speaker 1: is not publishing in order to protect the identity of
- 2:04Speaker 1: a confidential source. The Terrorist Screening Center deemed him a
- 2:08Speaker 1: quote mismatch after running his name through the terror watch list,
- 2:12Speaker 1: according to the memo, which was then sent to Immigration
- 2:16Speaker 1: and Customs Enforcement officials also known as ICE. However, on
- 2:21Speaker 1: January the eighteenth of twenty twenty four, the Terrast Screening
- 2:24Speaker 1: Center made a redetermination that's their words made a redetermination,
- 2:30Speaker 1: so it took him a year to actually check in
- 2:33Speaker 1: on said terrorists. That the individual was quote in fact,
- 2:37Speaker 1: a confirmed member of al Shabab and was involved in
- 2:41Speaker 1: the use, the manufacturer or transport of explosives or firearms.
- 2:47Speaker 1: The memo states, two days later, I snabbed the al
- 2:52Speaker 1: Chebab member in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a huge hotbed of Muslim activists, terrorists,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and jihadis. Border patrol, just so you know, caught one
- 3:03Speaker 1: hundred and seventy two individuals. That's not the guidaways, that's
- 3:07Speaker 1: the ones. They caught one hundred and seventy two tear
- 3:11Speaker 1: watchless suspects attempting to enter the US illegally during the
- 3:15Speaker 1: fiscal year twenty twenty three. So if you do the
- 3:20Speaker 1: math on that, and this is what's happening with the
- 3:23Speaker 1: Democrats again purposely having an open border, the new numbers
- 3:30Speaker 1: are one hundred and seventy two in the last fiscal year.
- 3:34Speaker 1: You divide that by twelve, that means fourteen point three
- 3:37Speaker 1: terrifts on average are being caught per month. Fourteen point three,
- 3:43Speaker 1: so one every other day a person that we have
- 3:49Speaker 1: on a terrorist watch list is being caught coming across
- 3:53Speaker 1: the southern border every other day during Biden's last year
- 3:57Speaker 1: in charge of the border. You think they're coming here
- 4:01Speaker 1: because they love America? Or do you think they're coming
- 4:03Speaker 1: here because they want to destroy America? If you're on
- 4:06Speaker 1: the terrorists watch list, you're not like pro America folks.
- 4:08Speaker 1: You have to understand about the mentality of an individual
- 4:11Speaker 1: that gets on the terrorists watch list. Former Homeland security
- 4:16Speaker 1: officials say the constant knowledge of illegal immigrants hitting the
- 4:21Speaker 1: southern border is making it easier for terrorists. Right bad
- 4:25Speaker 1: actors is slip into the country. Quote. Many within the
- 4:29Speaker 1: Biden administration, including Secretary of my ORCIS, have repeatedly assured
- 4:34Speaker 1: us that the vetting process of the border is quote
- 4:36Speaker 1: comprehensive and complete. That is what a retired ICE field
- 4:40Speaker 1: director who now sits on the National Immigration Center for
- 4:43Speaker 1: Enforcement Board told the Daily Caller. Quote. However, we continue
- 4:48Speaker 1: to witness alarming instances where terrorists are able to freely
- 4:54Speaker 1: roam the United States per months after being released after
- 4:57Speaker 1: we catch them, and then we're releasing them because we
- 5:00Speaker 1: have a catch and release policy, including now for the
- 5:03Speaker 1: terrorists that we catch at the border before their criminal
- 5:06Speaker 1: and terrorist histories come to light. Well, when you've got
- 5:10Speaker 1: ten thousand coming across every day, right, you got to
- 5:12Speaker 1: speed them up because you don't want to have a
- 5:14Speaker 1: backlog at the border, and then the media actually cover it.
- 5:18Speaker 1: So what do you do. You release them as soon
- 5:20Speaker 1: as you catch them, and then if you find out
- 5:22Speaker 1: you release the terrorists, well, eventually we just go find them.
- 5:25Speaker 1: A year later, the number of suspected terrorists caught trying
- 5:29Speaker 1: to illegally cross the southern border continues to grow. Border
- 5:33Speaker 1: patrol agents this is important that you understand, apprehended fifty
- 5:39Speaker 1: different illegal immigrants on the terrorists watch list between October
- 5:44Speaker 1: and December of last year. According to federal data. For comparison,
- 5:49Speaker 1: there were a total of thirty such encounters when Donald
- 5:54Speaker 1: Trump was president. So you look at October, November and December,
- 6:00Speaker 1: we had fifty terrafts that we caught coming across the
- 6:03Speaker 1: southern border, fifty when Donald Trump was present. From basically
- 6:08Speaker 1: the fiscal year twenty seventeen to twenty twenty, there were
- 6:11Speaker 1: a total of thirty such encounters. Quote. The situation is
- 6:16Speaker 1: greatly endangering our nation, and it is clear that our
- 6:19Speaker 1: safety is dependent on enforcing our immigration laws. And securing
- 6:24Speaker 1: the border. Mass release of illegal immigrants under the Biden
- 6:28Speaker 1: administration have placed immense pressure on the Biden administration and
- 6:34Speaker 1: their federal authorities to move people through the system quickly,
- 6:36Speaker 1: as I mentioned a moment ago, because they don't want
- 6:38Speaker 1: them to stack up. And then you get to actually
- 6:41Speaker 1: see a picture of how many people are sitting at
- 6:43Speaker 1: the border going to be released into the United States America.
- 6:46Speaker 1: They want to send them through. They're not checking who
- 6:49Speaker 1: these people are, They're just sending them through. Quote people
- 6:53Speaker 1: have been released prior to completed record checks being returned
- 6:56Speaker 1: on a subject is problem number one, which would not
- 7:00Speaker 1: allow proper processing and placement of a potential terrorist once
- 7:04Speaker 1: those results were known, a nice official is confirmed. So
- 7:08Speaker 1: they're knowingly and willingly doing this, the Biden administration. They
- 7:12Speaker 1: know that they're not able to do a complete background check,
- 7:17Speaker 1: a records check on the individuals that they're releasing into
- 7:20Speaker 1: the United States of America Interior. They're deliberately and purposely
- 7:26Speaker 1: doing this. Now, border patrol can only hold migrants in
- 7:31Speaker 1: custody for up to seventy two hours, but it often
- 7:34Speaker 1: takes much longer. We've now been told to receive information
- 7:37Speaker 1: from background checks. So they're admitting now that they could
- 7:41Speaker 1: fix this law. They could change the law, they could
- 7:43Speaker 1: change how we're holding these people, but they're not doing
- 7:46Speaker 1: it because they're more afraid of the optics of you
- 7:49Speaker 1: understanding how many people are coming across the southern border,
- 7:52Speaker 1: because if there's a backlog and they start backing up,
- 7:54Speaker 1: then it looks really bad for them, right then it
- 7:57Speaker 1: becomes a humanitarian crisis. Right So instead you just let
- 8:00Speaker 1: them go and then you get their background check back
- 8:04Speaker 1: a year later because there's no urgency on the background
- 8:08Speaker 1: check and you're like, oh, crap, we just let a
- 8:11Speaker 1: jihadis terrace from al Shabab go. Okay, well maybe we
- 8:14Speaker 1: should like send Marshalls to go find that guy a
- 8:18Speaker 1: year later. Quote. The overburdening of the border patrol with
- 8:22Speaker 1: the excessive amount of illegal border crossers has forced faster
- 8:27Speaker 1: processing times, which doesn't allow for a more vigorous initial
- 8:31Speaker 1: investigation into a migrants background. The background checks currently being
- 8:36Speaker 1: run only initially search out criminal history specifically in the
- 8:40Speaker 1: United States of America, and does not look at criminal
- 8:44Speaker 1: history outside of its borders. That could take days, weeks,
- 8:47Speaker 1: or months to connect. Derogatory information coming from other databases.
- 8:53Speaker 1: The whistleblowers are now saying, in fact, there were eight
- 8:56Speaker 1: hundred and sixty thousand individuals who are known to have
- 9:01Speaker 1: snuck into the country illegally without apprehensions in twenty twenty three.
- 9:07Speaker 1: All right, I want to tell you real quick about
- 9:09Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. For ten years, Patriot Mobile has been America's
- 9:13Speaker 1: only Christian conservative wireless provider. And when I say only
- 9:17Speaker 1: trust me, they're literally the only one. Patriot Mobile offers
- 9:21Speaker 1: dependable nationwide coverage, giving you the ability to access all
- 9:25Speaker 1: three major networks. What does that mean to you? It
- 9:27Speaker 1: means you get the same coverage that you're accustomed to,
- 9:30Speaker 1: but you're doing it without funding. The Left. You may
- 9:34Speaker 1: not know the Big Mobile gives massive donations to Planned Parenthood,
- 9:39Speaker 1: to Democratic candidates, causes, and organizations. Why give your money
- 9:44Speaker 1: to a group of people that literally hate your values,
- 9:48Speaker 1: hate what you stand for, hate your family, traditional Christian values.
- 9:53Speaker 1: That is why I switch to Patriot Mobile. And when
- 9:56Speaker 1: you switch, you're sending a message that you support free speech,
- 9:59Speaker 1: really just freedom, the sanctity of life, the Second Amendment,
- 10:03Speaker 1: as well as our military, our veterans, and our first
- 10:06Speaker 1: responder heroes. They make switching easy one hundred percent US
- 10:10Speaker 1: based customer service team. Plus you can keep your same
- 10:12Speaker 1: cell phone number, upgrade your phone to a new phone,
- 10:16Speaker 1: or keep the one you've got in your hand as well.
- 10:18Speaker 1: And the most important part, every time you pay your bill.
- 10:21Speaker 1: They take a percentage of your bill every month and
- 10:24Speaker 1: give it back to conservative causes that you help choose
- 10:28Speaker 1: to support. So check them out. Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson.
- 10:33Speaker 1: That's patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine to seven
- 10:38Speaker 1: to two Patriot get free activation when you use the offer
- 10:42Speaker 1: code ferguson. That's patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine
- 10:47Speaker 1: seven to two Patriot. I also just want to take
- 10:51Speaker 1: a moment to think about the number I just gave you.
- 10:56Speaker 1: There were eight one hundred and sixty thousand in individuals
- 11:01Speaker 1: who we know. That means we saw them but couldn't
- 11:03Speaker 1: get to them. Cameras caught them, but we couldn't get
- 11:06Speaker 1: to them who have stuck into this country illegally without
- 11:09Speaker 1: apprehension in twenty twenty three. That doesn't count, by the way,
- 11:11Speaker 1: those that got across the Southern Board that we didn't
- 11:13Speaker 1: see on camera. That we didn't catch on camera. There's
- 11:16Speaker 1: eight hundred and sixty thousand that we saw and we
- 11:18Speaker 1: just couldn't get to them. This on top of the
- 11:21Speaker 1: millions that are coming in that we do catch and
- 11:23Speaker 1: then release. Many within the Biden administration, including Secretary of Myorcas,
- 11:29Speaker 1: have repeatedly assured us that the vetting process of the
- 11:31Speaker 1: border is comprehensive and complete. However, we continue to witness
- 11:35Speaker 1: alarming instances where terrists are able to freely roam the
- 11:39Speaker 1: United States for months after being released as Southern Border
- 11:44Speaker 1: before their criminal and terrasts histories come to light. The
- 11:48Speaker 1: situation is greatly endangering our nation, and it's clear that
- 11:51Speaker 1: our safety has dependent on enforcing our immigration laws and
- 11:55Speaker 1: securing the border. Whistleblowers are now saying if there is
- 12:00Speaker 1: a terrorist attack, and I, based on what I'm seeing now,
- 12:04Speaker 1: I have little doubt that there is a clear planned
- 12:07Speaker 1: attack that is being planned right now inside the United
- 12:10Speaker 1: States of America. And I don't say that to fear monger.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I say that based on the reality. If you have
- 12:16Speaker 1: a massive influx of terrorists coming into the United States
- 12:18Speaker 1: of America, an average of fourteen point three that are
- 12:21Speaker 1: being caught per month, and then of those being caught,
- 12:24Speaker 1: many of them are being released. And then you've got
- 12:27Speaker 1: fifty that came in just in a two and a
- 12:29Speaker 1: half month period at the end of the year that
- 12:32Speaker 1: we caught. That doesn't count the ones that got away,
- 12:34Speaker 1: because there had to be some terrorists that got through
- 12:36Speaker 1: the Southern Board that we don't know about, and there
- 12:38Speaker 1: had to be some terrorists in the eight hundred and
- 12:40Speaker 1: sixty thousand individuals who are known to have stuck in
- 12:43Speaker 1: the country illegally without us apprehending them. This is total insanity.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Go back to the terrorists that we just allowed to
- 12:52Speaker 1: roam free in this country that we caught in Minneapolis.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Minneapolis is a hotbed for Muslim illegal activity. A lot
- 13:00Speaker 1: of Muslim and those on Terrists watch lifts have been
- 13:03Speaker 1: caught in Minneapolis Saint Paul area. There is a huge
- 13:08Speaker 1: number of Muslims there. I want to be clear, I'm
- 13:10Speaker 1: not saying that all Muslims are terrorists. What I am
- 13:12Speaker 1: saying is since nine to eleven, we have seen a
- 13:14Speaker 1: significant number of people that have been arrested in Minneapolis
- 13:17Speaker 1: Saint Paul because it is a hot bed for where
- 13:19Speaker 1: radicals go and where they live and where they hang
- 13:22Speaker 1: out with others. You look at this guy that was
- 13:24Speaker 1: a terrorist that we found after we already caught him
- 13:28Speaker 1: and then let him go. So what does the US
- 13:31Speaker 1: government say about al Shabab, Well, let me tell you
- 13:34Speaker 1: exactly what the Biden US government says. The US government
- 13:37Speaker 1: has considered als Chabab a foreign terrorists organization since two
- 13:40Speaker 1: thousand and eight. The terrorist group operates in Somalia and
- 13:44Speaker 1: has also committed at tax in Kenya and Uganda, according
- 13:48Speaker 1: to the National character Terrorism Center. In fact, our military
- 13:52Speaker 1: US force has killed three Alschebab terrists and a self
- 13:55Speaker 1: defense airstrike on January the twenty first, at the request
- 13:59Speaker 1: of the Somali government. So if you don't think that
- 14:03Speaker 1: al Chebab terrists hate us, you're stupid because we're killing them.
- 14:07Speaker 1: You want to know what they've done and they're in
- 14:09Speaker 1: their history. Let's talk about al Shabab and what an
- 14:11Speaker 1: al Chabab attack actually looks like. This is the guy
- 14:15Speaker 1: that we let hangout for a year in our country
- 14:17Speaker 1: and we called him, knowing him as terris, but we
- 14:19Speaker 1: let him go. Al Shabab has carried out bombings. What
- 14:23Speaker 1: type of bombings, Well, they include their hallmark, which is
- 14:27Speaker 1: suicide terrorist attacks. And the group has assassinated Somali peace
- 14:32Speaker 1: activists as well. They have assassinated international aid workers, they
- 14:38Speaker 1: have assassinated journalists, they have assassinated numerous civil society figures.
- 14:45Speaker 1: That also according to the National counter Terrorism Center, how
- 14:49Speaker 1: big can their attacks get? The terror group carried out
- 14:53Speaker 1: a twenty thirteen attack on it that Westgate mall in Nairobi.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Remember that it went viral because it was put on TV.
- 15:02Speaker 1: That twenty thirteen attack on that Westgate Mall in Nairobi
- 15:05Speaker 1: killed sixty seven people. That doesn't count the hundreds that
- 15:12Speaker 1: were injured. And in twenty seventeen, they killed hundreds of
- 15:18Speaker 1: civilians in Mogadishu through not one but two suicide attacks. Now,
- 15:24Speaker 1: after the Hamas attack on Israeli civilians on October the seventh,
- 15:29Speaker 1: federal authorities warned the Border Patrol to quote be an
- 15:33Speaker 1: alert for Hamas Palestinian Islamic jihad and Hesbla Terri's attempting
- 15:39Speaker 1: to illegally cross the southern border. How the hell do
- 15:43Speaker 1: you do that if you have ten thousand a day
- 15:45Speaker 1: and you're not checking their backgrounds when you do catch them.
- 15:47Speaker 1: On top of the eight hundred and seventy thousand last
- 15:49Speaker 1: year that we didn't catch. That we caught on video
- 15:52Speaker 1: coming the country, but no one grabbed them. That doesn't
- 15:55Speaker 1: count again the ones that got into this country that
- 15:57Speaker 1: we don't know about. So the federal government, he is saying,
- 16:00Speaker 1: after the attack on October seventh against the Jews and
- 16:04Speaker 1: America backing Israel and knowing that we're at target, they
- 16:07Speaker 1: warned the border patrol, the same border patrol that they
- 16:10Speaker 1: refused to allow them to do their job. But hey, guys,
- 16:12Speaker 1: be an alert for Hamas and Palaesini, Islamic jihadis and
- 16:15Speaker 1: Hezwa Terris attempting to illegally cross the southern border. According
- 16:19Speaker 1: to an internal memo obtained by The Daily Caller, quote,
- 16:24Speaker 1: it is clear that our safety is dependent on enforcing
- 16:26Speaker 1: our immigration laws and securing the border. That is another
- 16:32Speaker 1: quote from one of the whistleblowers. Of all the information
- 16:34Speaker 1: that I just gave you, you want to know what
- 16:38Speaker 1: Ice said about this. They were asked for comment by
- 16:43Speaker 1: the Daily Caller News Foundation, and let me tell you
- 16:46Speaker 1: exactly what I said. Ice didn't respond for requests for
- 16:50Speaker 1: comment because you don't want to talk about this. You
- 16:53Speaker 1: want to be super quiet about this. You don't want
- 16:57Speaker 1: to talk about, No, you want to be quiet. Is
- 17:00Speaker 1: something you need to be super quiet about, super super
- 17:04Speaker 1: super quiet. This is Biden's America, a wide open border,
- 17:10Speaker 1: no enforcement on purpose, deliberately allowing for a wide open border, allowing,
- 17:19Speaker 1: on average since he's been in office, fourteen point three
- 17:24Speaker 1: terrafts on the watch list a month to be caught
- 17:26Speaker 1: coming across the southern border, and then some of them
- 17:29Speaker 1: being allowed to roam free for nearly a year. This
- 17:33Speaker 1: on top of a skyrocketing number that has increased coming
- 17:37Speaker 1: across our southern border. Border patrol agents caught one hundred
- 17:41Speaker 1: and seventy two terrast watchless suspects attempting to enter the
- 17:44Speaker 1: US legally during the fiscal year twenty twenty three. Those
- 17:48Speaker 1: numbers continue to go up. Border patrol agents apprehended fifty
- 17:54Speaker 1: illegal immigrants on the terror watch list in October, November,
- 17:57Speaker 1: and December of last year alone, according to the FED data,
- 18:00Speaker 1: right after that attack that took place in Israel, we
- 18:04Speaker 1: apprehended fifty individuals on the terrorists watch list. For comparison,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I go back to this, there were a total of
- 18:14Speaker 1: thirty such terrorists that were caught when Donald Trump was
- 18:18Speaker 1: present from twenty seventeen to two thy and twenty, meaning
- 18:24Speaker 1: that in a month, because of our open border, there
- 18:26Speaker 1: are more terrorists on the watch list than the four
- 18:28Speaker 1: years that he was the president of the United States
- 18:30Speaker 1: of America. Do not tell me that we can't secure
- 18:32Speaker 1: the border. Donald Trump did it this present, saying I
- 18:35Speaker 1: don't care. And when there is a terrorist attack that
- 18:38Speaker 1: is going to happen in this country, clearly they're planning something.
- 18:42Speaker 1: They're not coming to America because they love America. The
- 18:44Speaker 1: terrorists hate America. So if you're a terrorists coming into America,
- 18:48Speaker 1: the chances that you're here for a better life are
- 18:50Speaker 1: about zero point zero. And when something happens, and I
- 18:54Speaker 1: hope it doesn't, but when it does, you need to
- 18:57Speaker 1: understand they knew about it and they didn't care. This
- 19:02Speaker 1: also coming after that Jordan drone strike that killed American troops.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Who are these Who is the Islamic resistance in Iraqan?
- 19:11Speaker 1: What is Tower twenty two is a question many of
- 19:13Speaker 1: you have been asking, So I'm going to explain that
- 19:16Speaker 1: to you so you understand this group that went after
- 19:18Speaker 1: the Americans, all right, the group that claimed responsibility for
- 19:21Speaker 1: the deadly attack on US military base in northeast Jordan
- 19:25Speaker 1: is what everybody has been talking about. Three US service
- 19:28Speaker 1: personnel were killed, dozens were wounded. After a drone apparently
- 19:33Speaker 1: from what we understand, it's a drone that you could
- 19:34Speaker 1: buy the store, dropped a bomb on this military base,
- 19:42Speaker 1: this outpost in Jordan that is known as Tower twenty two.
- 19:46Speaker 1: It lies on the border with Iraq and Syria. US
- 19:49Speaker 1: President Joe Biden has blamed the Iranian backed militants for
- 19:51Speaker 1: the attack and said we will hold all those responsible
- 19:54Speaker 1: for account at a time and in a manner of
- 19:57Speaker 1: our choosing. I'm not sure I believe him. Iran has denied,
- 20:01Speaker 1: of course, any involvement in the attack, but Islamic resistance
- 20:03Speaker 1: in Iraq have claimed responsibility as part of the efforts.
- 20:07Speaker 1: What makes me even more upset about this is the
- 20:09Speaker 1: fact that we have a present that knew that this
- 20:11Speaker 1: was happening. We had more than one hundred plus attacks
- 20:13Speaker 1: that have happened since on American troops installations in the
- 20:17Speaker 1: Middle East since the attack on Israel just four months ago.
- 20:22Speaker 1: This has been galvanized by the Israeli Hamas war to
- 20:26Speaker 1: try to drive US troops out of Iraq and out
- 20:28Speaker 1: of Syria, seeing as an opportunity saying, hey, they already
- 20:31Speaker 1: got out of Afghanistan, maybe we can drive these troops
- 20:33Speaker 1: out of Iraq in Syria. So who are the Islamic
- 20:36Speaker 1: Resistance in Iraq is a question you may ask, Well,
- 20:40Speaker 1: the attack on the US base was that's now been
- 20:44Speaker 1: claimed by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a term used
- 20:48Speaker 1: to describe a loose coalition of Iranian backed militias that
- 20:51Speaker 1: oppose US support for Israel in the war in Gaza
- 20:55Speaker 1: and American troops being in Iraq. Membership of the group
- 20:58Speaker 1: is deliberately vague each armed group to level a plausible deniability.
- 21:03Speaker 1: According to the Atlantic Council, there is evidence strong evidence suggesting,
- 21:10Speaker 1: I would argue, proving that Iran's Revolutionary Guard plays a
- 21:13Speaker 1: major coordinating role with this group. On Sunday, the Islamic
- 21:19Speaker 1: Resistance in Iraq said they targeted US personnel with drones
- 21:23Speaker 1: at three locations in Syria, including two bases near where
- 21:26Speaker 1: the borders with Iraq, Syria, and Jordan meet, but it
- 21:31Speaker 1: was not immediately clear if the group was referring specifically
- 21:34Speaker 1: to the attack that killed the US troops. Since the
- 21:37Speaker 1: outbreak of the Israeli guys Awar, the group has claimed
- 21:40Speaker 1: responsibility for at least twenty attacks on US forces in
- 21:43Speaker 1: Iraq and Syria. What is America done in response? Not
- 21:46Speaker 1: a damn not a damn thing. Biden is weak and
- 21:49Speaker 1: they know they can do whatever the hell they want.
- 21:51Speaker 1: In total, US forces have now come under attack more
- 21:55Speaker 1: than one hundred and fifty times by Iranian back groups
- 21:58Speaker 1: in Iraq and Syria, causing at least seventy casualties before
- 22:03Speaker 1: Sunday's attack, most of them traumatic brain injuries. Now, what
- 22:08Speaker 1: is Tower twenty two? Something else you need to know?
- 22:11Speaker 1: This US based Tower twenty two. Tower twenty two occupies
- 22:15Speaker 1: a strategically important location in Jordan at the most northern
- 22:20Speaker 1: northeastern point where the country borders meet Syria and Iraq.
- 22:24Speaker 1: That's why we have it there in Jordan. Little is
- 22:28Speaker 1: publicly known about the base, but what it is is
- 22:32Speaker 1: a small group that houses a small number of US
- 22:35Speaker 1: troops across the border in Syria in an area near
- 22:39Speaker 1: tamph It's been key in the fight against Islamic state
- 22:43Speaker 1: known as ISIS, and has assumed a role as part
- 22:46Speaker 1: of a US strategy to contain Iran's military build up
- 22:49Speaker 1: in eastern Syria. Tower twenty two is located close enough
- 22:54Speaker 1: to US troops at Tamp that it could support them
- 22:57Speaker 1: while also potentially countering Iran back militants in the area
- 23:01Speaker 1: and allowing troops to keep an eye on remnants of
- 23:04Speaker 1: ISIS in the region. Since the start of the Syrian
- 23:08Speaker 1: conflict all the way back in twenty eleven, Washington has
- 23:11Speaker 1: spent hundreds of millions of dollars to help Jordan set
- 23:14Speaker 1: up an elaborate surveillance system known as the Border Security Program,
- 23:18Speaker 1: to stem in the infiltration of militants from Syria and
- 23:22Speaker 1: Iraq crossing the border. The kingdom has hundreds of US
- 23:28Speaker 1: trainers and is one of the few regional allies that
- 23:32Speaker 1: holds extensive exercises with US troops throughout the year. Late
- 23:36Speaker 1: last year, Amon asked Washington to deploy Patriot air defense
- 23:40Speaker 1: systems to bolster its border defense. It has requested more
- 23:44Speaker 1: aid to tackle drones used in the multi billion dollar
- 23:47Speaker 1: drug war along the border with Syria, which Aman blames
- 23:50Speaker 1: on pro Iranian militias that hold sway in southern Syria.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Right now, there are about two thousan five hundred US
- 23:59Speaker 1: troops in Iraq and nine hundred in northeast Syria to
- 24:03Speaker 1: support operations against remnants of isis that according to the
- 24:07Speaker 1: Atlantic Council numbers, it is unclear how many US troops
- 24:11Speaker 1: are stationed on Tower twenty two that was hit. It's
- 24:14Speaker 1: also unclear where are the types of weapons that are
- 24:18Speaker 1: kept the air defense used, and what exactly went wrong
- 24:21Speaker 1: in this attack that allowed for a drone to drop
- 24:24Speaker 1: a bomb. Now you look at all the information that
- 24:28Speaker 1: I just gave you, and the part that is the
- 24:31Speaker 1: most frustrating to me, specifically, is the fact that we
- 24:35Speaker 1: have a president of the United States of America who
- 24:38Speaker 1: has been saying over and over again, Oh, We've got
- 24:41Speaker 1: this right, over and over and over and over and
- 24:45Speaker 1: over again. He's like, We've got it under control. We
- 24:49Speaker 1: know what's going on. I have warned them not to act.
- 24:53Speaker 1: I have warned them, referring to Iran, that they better
- 24:57Speaker 1: not get involved. Well, guess what, they are involved. They
- 25:00Speaker 1: are involved, and they know it. Axios put out an
- 25:05Speaker 1: article just five hours ago their headline, war pressure grows
- 25:08Speaker 1: as Biden plans military response to deadly Jordan attack. President Biden,
- 25:13Speaker 1: other top yuo's officials discussed Sunday a significant military response
- 25:17Speaker 1: against pro Iranian militias over the drone attack near the
- 25:21Speaker 1: Jordan Syrian border that killed three American soldiers and winted
- 25:24Speaker 1: more than thirty others. A US official with intel briefed
- 25:29Speaker 1: on the matter told Axios whyatt matters. The White House
- 25:32Speaker 1: and Pentagon are hoping to calibrate their retaliation to contain
- 25:35Speaker 1: the growing risk of regional war, but pressure for more
- 25:39Speaker 1: significant action is brewing on Capitol Hill. We don't want war,
- 25:44Speaker 1: but those who are behind this attack need to feel
- 25:46Speaker 1: our response, a US official said Sunday night for the report.
- 25:51Speaker 1: When you have a week president, this is what happens
- 25:54Speaker 1: when you have, in essence, one hundred and fifty attacks
- 25:56Speaker 1: on US troops in the region since the Israel Hamam
- 26:00Speaker 1: this war began on October the seventh. You have to
- 26:03Speaker 1: respond because if you don't, they're going to keep doing it.
- 26:05Speaker 1: And what they realize is you have a week president
- 26:07Speaker 1: that you can screw with. We shall respond, Biden vowed
- 26:11Speaker 1: Sunday during an evening during an evening event in South Carolina,
- 26:15Speaker 1: after requesting a moment of silence for the fallen soldiers,
- 26:19Speaker 1: what he should have been doing is he should have
- 26:20Speaker 1: been doing his damn job and not. It shouldn't have
- 26:23Speaker 1: taken one hundred and fifty attacks before you wake the
- 26:26Speaker 1: you know what up and do your damn job as president.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I want to be clear, this was avoidable. Let me
- 26:33Speaker 1: say that again. I want to be clear. This was avoidable.
- 26:40Speaker 1: They do an attack, you don't respond. They do another attack,
- 26:42Speaker 1: You don't respond. They do two or three more attacks.
- 26:44Speaker 1: You don't respond. They do ten more attacks, they don't respond.
- 26:47Speaker 1: You do twenty more attacks, they don't respond. You do
- 26:48Speaker 1: one hundred more attacks, they don't respond. You get up
- 26:50Speaker 1: to one hundred and fifty and we still haven't responded.
- 26:52Speaker 1: What the hell did you think was going to happen?
- 26:56Speaker 1: Did you really think, mister president, that you could just
- 27:00Speaker 1: look the other way. Did you really think that you
- 27:03Speaker 1: could just look the other way and this would just
- 27:06Speaker 1: somehow stop on its own. Did you think you could
- 27:09Speaker 1: look the other way and at some point they were
- 27:10Speaker 1: they were going to be successful or not be successfult
- 27:13Speaker 1: to killing an American troop. Lack of leadership has real consequences.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Lack of leadership from this president has significant consequences. Lack
- 27:24Speaker 1: of leadership from the president of the United States of
- 27:27Speaker 1: America cost these Americans their lives, and everyone truly needs
- 27:32Speaker 1: to understand that makes you share this podcast with your
- 27:36Speaker 1: family and your friends, share it on social media. Please
- 27:39Speaker 1: writse a five story review and I will see you
