- 1:24Speaker 1: Gotta turn. I got to turn the mouth. Turn You
- 1:43Speaker 1: probably got to turn the mouth.

- 2:04Speaker 7: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:08Speaker 7: dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:13Speaker 7: radio show, yo.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:15Speaker 7: God is in the blessing business all day every day.
- 2:18Speaker 7: God got hundreds of millions of blessings that he passes
- 2:22Speaker 7: out every day. All I want to do is be
- 2:27Speaker 7: the recipient that I'm the recipient of what He has
- 2:31Speaker 7: for me. That's all I want. I just want God's favor,
- 2:37Speaker 7: and I go. I want God's blessings. You know, of
- 2:41Speaker 7: course I need his mercy and his grace, but I
- 2:45Speaker 7: just want his blessings and his favor.
- 2:49Speaker 6: I want.
- 2:50Speaker 7: I want that in my life because it does things
- 2:53Speaker 7: for me that I'm absolutely incapable of doing for myself.
- 2:57Speaker 7: And I've been a recipient of many of those. And
- 3:00Speaker 7: you can be the recipient of them too. You already are, really, really,
- 3:06Speaker 7: you already are. If you're getting up every morning, that's
- 3:09Speaker 7: a blessing. If you're getting one day closer to anything
- 3:13Speaker 7: you're trying to accomplish, that's a blessing. But now let
- 3:17Speaker 7: me talk to you about this part right here, folks,
- 3:19Speaker 7: because this is the part that message people up a
- 3:21Speaker 7: great deal.
- 3:22Speaker 6: What happens when you get off track? What is that?
- 3:28Speaker 6: What does that mean? When you get off track?
- 3:32Speaker 2: See?
- 3:33Speaker 6: I've been off track.
- 3:34Speaker 7: I can't tell you how many times, and it happens
- 3:37Speaker 7: in so many aspects of your life. But for what
- 3:40Speaker 7: is it that makes getting off track so debilitating to
- 3:45Speaker 7: some people? You know, there are some people who want
- 3:48Speaker 7: theay off track. They of course, they off the dream.
- 3:51Speaker 7: They on to something else. And you cannot allow the
- 3:55Speaker 7: fact that you've gotten off track to stop you.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Can.
- 4:01Speaker 7: I tell you something. Everybody gets off track. There are
- 4:06Speaker 7: people who are living their life's dreams in spite of
- 4:12Speaker 7: getting off track. See what happens when you get off track?
- 4:16Speaker 7: Here's the simple thing to do. The simple thing is
- 4:19Speaker 7: just to get back on track. Now that's that's but
- 4:22Speaker 7: that's easier said than done. Ain't it, Steve.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:25Speaker 7: Because see, people, when you get off track, here's some
- 4:28Speaker 7: of the things that happen. See you get the here
- 4:32Speaker 7: comes the nay says, some of them from the outside,
- 4:36Speaker 7: some of them internally. Here's what gets said when you
- 4:40Speaker 7: get off track. See, I told you, I told you.
- 4:45Speaker 7: You know, you start hearing that it's not for you. Okay,
- 4:53Speaker 7: this is all just because you got off track. It's
- 4:56Speaker 7: not for you. Okay, here's another one. It ain't meant
- 5:00Speaker 7: to be. You can hear it all. You could say it. Well,
- 5:05Speaker 7: I guess it's just not meant to be. But let
- 5:09Speaker 7: me ask you a question, though, who made the rule
- 5:13Speaker 7: that when you get off track you can't get back on?
- 5:18Speaker 2: Who made that rule?
- 5:20Speaker 7: Where has that written that once you get off track
- 5:23Speaker 7: you can't get back on? See, because I'm gonna tell
- 5:27Speaker 7: you something, folks, there's no such rule. As a matter
- 5:31Speaker 7: of fact, it's quite the opposite. See, everybody in pursuit
- 5:37Speaker 7: of a dream, a goal, an aspiration, or mission is
- 5:42Speaker 7: going to get off track. Sometimes you're going to get derailed.
- 5:47Speaker 7: There are going to be days where you're not going
- 5:49Speaker 7: to get it right. There are going to be days
- 5:52Speaker 7: where you feel like giving up there's going to be
- 5:54Speaker 7: days when you're just gonna flat out get it wrong.
- 5:57Speaker 6: That's the journey.
- 5:59Speaker 7: But let me tell you some Every successful person that
- 6:01Speaker 7: I know, ever met, talked to, set out, and chopped
- 6:04Speaker 7: it up with, have shared one thing in common. We
- 6:08Speaker 7: all get off track. We all get it wrong along
- 6:13Speaker 7: the way. I don't care who the person is. The
- 6:15Speaker 7: president got it wrong along the way. Your pastor got
- 6:20Speaker 7: it wrong along the way. Quiet director guy got it
- 6:24Speaker 7: wrong along the way. The principle at your school got
- 6:27Speaker 7: it wrong along the way. The valve victorian of your
- 6:30Speaker 7: class got it wrong along the way. The star of
- 6:36Speaker 7: the team got it wrong along the way. They've all
- 6:41Speaker 7: been off track. Your boss down at your job, he
- 6:44Speaker 7: got it wrong along the way. Your immediate supervisor got
- 6:48Speaker 7: it wrong along the way. Everybody I know that has
- 6:54Speaker 7: any measure of success in every level that you call success,
- 6:58Speaker 7: however you want to label it, has gotten off track.
- 7:02Speaker 7: As a matter of fact, it's impossible. Listen to me,
- 7:08Speaker 7: it is impossible not to get off track in pursuit
- 7:14Speaker 7: of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It is impossible. Don't
- 7:20Speaker 7: you let nobody tell you that they got through life unscathed.
- 7:25Speaker 7: That they made it because they were just so determined,
- 7:28Speaker 7: and I would let nothing turn me back. Yeah, you
- 7:31Speaker 7: might not have let nothing turn you back because you
- 7:33Speaker 7: hear Oh, but you thought about it. Oh, you thought
- 7:38Speaker 7: about it on days when you was off track. But see,
- 7:40Speaker 7: people don't like to tell the whole story. They just
- 7:43Speaker 7: want you to think as much as you can about them.
- 7:46Speaker 7: So when they tell you their story, they leave out
- 7:49Speaker 7: the stuff along the way. It was just hard work
- 7:52Speaker 7: and determination that got me here. No it wasn't, No,
- 7:55Speaker 7: it wasn't. It was the fact that you got off
- 7:58Speaker 7: track and the grace and of God allowed you to
- 8:01Speaker 7: get back on. His forgiveness allowed you to get back
- 8:05Speaker 7: on because you would not believe what some of the
- 8:07Speaker 7: people have done. So when you get off track, don't
- 8:11Speaker 7: allow the naysayers outside and the big naysayer inside, because
- 8:16Speaker 7: let me tell you something, the biggest naysayer of them
- 8:19Speaker 7: all comes from inside. See, it don't matter what other
- 8:23Speaker 7: people say out there. It takes some time for you
- 8:25Speaker 7: to learn this. And I understand because it took me
- 8:27Speaker 7: some time to learn it. See, I have a lot
- 8:29Speaker 7: of naysayers out there, but I ain't operating for them,
- 8:34Speaker 7: operating function for the ones that love me, for the
- 8:37Speaker 7: ones that get me, for the ones that.
- 8:39Speaker 6: Understand what I'm really trying to do.
- 8:42Speaker 7: And so don't you be the one that doesn't allow
- 8:48Speaker 7: yourself to get back on track when you get off track, because,
- 8:51Speaker 7: like I said, who made the rule up that you
- 8:54Speaker 7: can't get back on track?
- 8:56Speaker 6: There's no such rule out there.
- 8:59Speaker 7: Stop stopping yourself from getting it right. So what you
- 9:04Speaker 7: started to die at the beginning of the year, and
- 9:07Speaker 7: you already off start another one, start over, try it again,
- 9:13Speaker 7: don't ever stop trying.
- 9:15Speaker 6: If you stop trying, you can't make it.
- 9:17Speaker 7: But if you never give up the effort, if you
- 9:20Speaker 7: never give up and say it's over, it ain't over.
- 9:23Speaker 7: You heard the saying it ain't over, to the fat
- 9:25Speaker 7: lady saying I never invite her.
- 9:29Speaker 6: She's not invited. It ain't over.
- 9:33Speaker 7: To the fat lady saying I don't know where the
- 9:35Speaker 7: fat lady stay. I have not send her an invitation
- 9:39Speaker 7: to none of my events. She's not welcome here. She
- 9:43Speaker 7: didn't ask me a couple of times. How come I
- 9:45Speaker 7: never get invited? Because you're gonna start saying it and
- 9:49Speaker 7: I ain't got time for that, all right, stop inviting
- 9:53Speaker 7: the fat lady to all your events.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, you know what. He's done it again.
- 10:07Speaker 7: I'm just in I live in a constant state of
- 10:09Speaker 7: amazement and awe and how really good God is. I
- 10:13Speaker 7: just don't understand how I could wake up and overlook
- 10:19Speaker 7: this gift. You know, how could I wake up and
- 10:24Speaker 7: not understand how truly amazing this is. And as I
- 10:28Speaker 7: look out my window and the sun is beginning to
- 10:30Speaker 7: come up, I'm just like Wow. He does that all
- 10:33Speaker 7: the time, whether it's cloudy or reigning. He creates that
- 10:37Speaker 7: new day every single time. He's never missed. That's crazy.
- 10:40Speaker 7: That's how we do it, y'all. We start our day
- 10:43Speaker 7: with gratitude. It will affect your attitude, which has a
- 10:47Speaker 7: direct correlation to your altitude.
- 10:50Speaker 6: Man, God is good. Ain't everybody say? Yeah? Yeah?
- 10:54Speaker 7: Chrim, Steve Harvey, Martshow, Shelty Strawberry, Colin Frail, Mississippi, Monica Jr.
- 10:58Speaker 7: And the legend that is a few Timmy Junior, what's
- 11:01Speaker 7: on your mind?
- 11:02Speaker 8: Man?
- 11:03Speaker 2: Man?
- 11:03Speaker 9: Let's talk about this up man, because it's I know
- 11:05Speaker 9: it's it's Steve Harvey. I know you, Steve Harper, I
- 11:08Speaker 9: know how to famous, your all and everything, But do
- 11:11Speaker 9: you do you ever have to deal with the pressure
- 11:12Speaker 9: being Steve Harvey? Have you have you failed at being
- 11:15Speaker 9: with the pressure?
- 11:17Speaker 7: I mean, i'dne made countless mistakes. You know it ain't
- 11:29Speaker 7: It ain't no manual with this. I've gotten it wrong
- 11:33Speaker 7: so many times because there's no course on it. Okay,
- 11:38Speaker 7: you famous, Now watch this, watch that. Watch this, because
- 11:42Speaker 7: when you first start acquiring fame, you keep acting like
- 11:46Speaker 7: you've always acted, and you can't. You must make adjustments
- 11:51Speaker 7: along the way. But that's for anybody. As you get older,
- 11:56Speaker 7: you have to make adjustments the same way. If you're forty,
- 11:59Speaker 7: you can't do like you did when you was twenty.
- 12:01Speaker 7: You just can't. And growth requires change, and everybody that
- 12:08Speaker 7: wants to grow you have to change.
- 12:11Speaker 2: You cannot. You know.
- 12:13Speaker 7: Look, trees and grass start out the same way. But
- 12:18Speaker 7: if you notice, trees don't hang around with the grass.
- 12:22Speaker 7: They started out the same way. But that's what holds
- 12:25Speaker 7: a lot of us up. We get hell to how
- 12:28Speaker 7: we started. We got people around us. Every time you
- 12:31Speaker 7: try to improve and do better, and don't forget where
- 12:34Speaker 7: you come from. Okay, cool, I want to forget, but
- 12:37Speaker 7: they're also there are people who said, don't forget where
- 12:40Speaker 7: you come from to try to hold you to that,
- 12:44Speaker 7: and that's not good for your growth. Just because you
- 12:47Speaker 7: started on the ground with everybody else, don't mean you
- 12:50Speaker 7: have to stay there.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Now, you can stay grounded.
- 12:53Speaker 7: The thing about a tree and a grass, even though
- 12:56Speaker 7: they started in the same place, the roots are still
- 12:59Speaker 7: in the soil. But the tree going on about his business. Now,
- 13:04Speaker 7: if the tree tried to be accepted by the grass
- 13:07Speaker 7: all the time, he would stay grass. You understand, he
- 13:09Speaker 7: would stay down there. But tree said, no, I got
- 13:11Speaker 7: to grow. In order to grow, I got to change.
- 13:15Speaker 7: And so you got to change, y'all. You gotta be
- 13:18Speaker 7: the change is necessary, and don't be bothered by that,
- 13:21Speaker 7: and don't hang around people who try to make you
- 13:24Speaker 7: feel bothered at Oh now you think you all that. No,
- 13:28Speaker 7: I don't think I'm all this. I'm a little bit
- 13:30Speaker 7: different because I had to be. But it's really more
- 13:33Speaker 7: or less what how you think I am?
- 13:35Speaker 2: Now?
- 13:36Speaker 1: Okay, all right, all right, coming up, thank you guys.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after we'll run that
- 13:42Speaker 1: prank back with the nephew. Right after this you're listening

- 14:40Speaker 2: of a stink. Here we go.

- 14:46Speaker 4: read swarve. Yeah it may Hi. How you doing, man,

- 14:59Speaker 4: right with it? This rico, man, how you doing? I'm
- 15:01Speaker 4: one of your neighbors on the next street. Oh, how
- 15:03Speaker 4: you doing?
- 15:04Speaker 11: Okay, I'm doing good.
- 15:05Speaker 8: But how you get my number?
- 15:07Speaker 4: One of the neighbors on your block gave me the number.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Man.
- 15:09Speaker 4: We was we were having a little situation. Wanted to
- 15:11Speaker 4: reach out to you. Uh, some stuff going on in
- 15:14Speaker 4: the neighborhood, man, and wanted to try to make you
- 15:16Speaker 4: aware of it.
- 15:17Speaker 8: But what what's going on?
- 15:19Speaker 4: Uh? It seemed like, well, you know, the trash man
- 15:22Speaker 4: run on on Tuesday, okay and Saturday right now. The
- 15:27Speaker 4: problem is that that that that a lot of people,
- 15:30Speaker 4: I guess since the holiday just passed, you know a
- 15:32Speaker 4: lot of people got this stuff out on the on
- 15:34Speaker 4: the curve already right right now. The problem is that
- 15:39Speaker 4: that that they're saying, man, is that your your trash
- 15:43Speaker 4: is actually really really foul and smelling and smelling pretty bad.
- 15:47Speaker 4: And we wanted to call you, man. And if you
- 15:49Speaker 4: hold on, hold on.
- 15:51Speaker 8: You say you calling me because you smell my trash?
- 15:55Speaker 4: Well yeah, they say, yes, is the one that's really stinking, man,
- 15:58Speaker 4: And if you could actually maybe putt then put it
- 16:00Speaker 4: back in the in the in the garage until tuesday,
- 16:03Speaker 4: you know.
- 16:03Speaker 8: No trash and no garage that's why I put it outside.
- 16:07Speaker 8: I didn't have enough room in the garage.
- 16:08Speaker 4: Okay, what doing see that?
- 16:10Speaker 8: And who is everybody saying my trash?
- 16:14Speaker 4: Hey, listen, I'm I'm not saying you know what I
- 16:17Speaker 4: want to tell you.
- 16:17Speaker 8: If everybody in the hood got a proble with my
- 16:20Speaker 8: trash sake, you tell them because.
- 16:22Speaker 4: That okay, what what? What? What? We we we discussed
- 16:25Speaker 4: that too, But listen, listen, we don't want no trouble. Man.
- 16:28Speaker 4: If we could just get you to put your trades
- 16:29Speaker 4: back in, I'm.
- 16:30Speaker 8: Not moving no trash. I pay rent over here, my brother.
- 16:34Speaker 4: Hey, we're not gonna go back, and I'm not gonna
- 16:36Speaker 4: go back to you what you're gonna do?
- 16:38Speaker 8: I'm telling you where I pay rent at. Don't tell
- 16:41Speaker 8: me to do over here.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Okay, Well listen, man, aren't you concerned that your trash
- 16:45Speaker 4: is thinking and reaking through the whole neighborhood?
- 16:47Speaker 8: I don't give it. Who smelled my chances they got
- 16:50Speaker 8: a problem with it? Tell them come take it out still.
- 16:53Speaker 4: Then, and sad I said, okay, whether that's the problem,
- 16:55Speaker 4: The problem is is that you took it out, and
- 16:57Speaker 4: you took it out too early. You should out till
- 17:00Speaker 4: Tuesday morning. And now who money and find it?
- 17:04Speaker 8: If I put it out there and say it out yesterday,
- 17:06Speaker 8: come get it.
- 17:07Speaker 4: I'm not gonna go back and forth with you man, Okay, what.
- 17:10Speaker 8: You're gonna do? You ain't gonna call me telling me
- 17:12Speaker 8: take my chances?
- 17:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I say, rent over here? Okay?
- 17:16Speaker 8: How is everybody smelling my trash?
- 17:19Speaker 7: Out?
- 17:19Speaker 8: Of everybody on the see.
- 17:20Speaker 4: I don't know from my understanding, it's just a couple
- 17:23Speaker 4: of holes in it. There's some food or something must
- 17:26Speaker 4: to got out. I don't know if if one of
- 17:27Speaker 4: the roads or dog got in it, or what the
- 17:29Speaker 4: case may be. But you know, we need to try
- 17:32Speaker 4: to get your trash in the backyard.
- 17:34Speaker 8: My trash ain't going no well, and how come you
- 17:37Speaker 8: the one?
- 17:37Speaker 4: You the fusing of this?
- 17:39Speaker 8: How come my next old neighbor? I ain't called? How
- 17:41Speaker 8: come yo around the corner and you called? Who put
- 17:44Speaker 8: you up to this?
- 17:45Speaker 4: What everybody's smelling it? I was just fortunate enough to
- 17:48Speaker 4: get your phone number, and I said, well, look I
- 17:49Speaker 4: just gone and called it.
- 17:50Speaker 8: My ill tell you this. You and hey, you my
- 17:53Speaker 8: phone number? Her, don't take it out?
- 17:56Speaker 4: Still? Then it ain't going no where. Lair okay, well listen,
- 17:59Speaker 4: let's swear this week we designed on the case we
- 18:01Speaker 4: got to this situation with you. Does that I'll just
- 18:05Speaker 4: come over there and put the trash in your backyard
- 18:07Speaker 4: and build tuesday morning and Tuesday morning, I'll come back
- 18:10Speaker 4: over there and take it out. That way, all the
- 18:12Speaker 4: smell of be in your backyard in the you say,
- 18:15Speaker 4: you go, what, I'm gonna come over there and put
- 18:17Speaker 4: the trash in your backyard. So the so the smell
- 18:20Speaker 4: that fuck it? I mean, that's that's let.
- 18:23Speaker 8: Me tell let me take you this. Say, if you
- 18:24Speaker 8: come over here, you might well call Hoon. That's who
- 18:27Speaker 8: you gonna need.
- 18:28Speaker 4: You come over here.
- 18:29Speaker 8: Bring all they had a problem saying my trash team
- 18:32Speaker 8: to come over here and take it out.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Well you you, I mean you you trying, you trying
- 18:36Speaker 4: to you trying to act like it don't smell. Man,
- 18:38Speaker 4: I don't give them if it mall, I'll tell you
- 18:40Speaker 4: what I do.
- 18:40Speaker 8: I'll go out to fool for myself. Where that where
- 18:43Speaker 8: that where that helped you out to look here?
- 18:44Speaker 4: Okay, but see that's not what the people in the

- 22:16Speaker 1: DeBie Brothers, the lead singer and music legend Michael McDonald
- 22:20Speaker 1: doesn't like Donald Trump. Speaking of the president, he weighed
- 22:24Speaker 1: in on the possibility of releasing or partning Diddy. We'll
- 22:28Speaker 1: talk about these stories at the top of the hour.
- 22:31Speaker 1: What but right now it is time to ask the COLO,
- 22:36Speaker 1: our chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. Ready, Steve this, Yeah, okay,
- 22:43Speaker 1: thank you. This is from April in Paramus. April writes,
- 22:47Speaker 1: I hit my husband's phone and I went walking in
- 22:49Speaker 1: the neighborhood. I wanted to see how he'd react. He
- 22:53Speaker 1: pulled up on me and accused me of trying to
- 22:55Speaker 1: check his calls and texts. Why was he so mad?
- 22:59Speaker 1: Is it a sign that he's hiding something from me?
- 23:02Speaker 9: No?
- 23:02Speaker 6: He pulls up on you.
- 23:07Speaker 7: Yeah, what you're trying to do?
- 23:12Speaker 6: What's up?
- 23:13Speaker 7: But you know, ma'am, ladies, y'all you don't have to
- 23:15Speaker 7: play them games. But you know, but you're gonna hide
- 23:18Speaker 7: the man's phone while you go for a walk. Now,
- 23:22Speaker 7: don't nobody want to be that long without their phone.
- 23:24Speaker 7: It That ain't no sign or nothing. That's that's a
- 23:28Speaker 7: sign that you didn't hit this man's phone. Suppose somebody
- 23:32Speaker 7: took your phone and hid it while they went for
- 23:35Speaker 7: a walk.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Come on, man, Yeah.
- 23:38Speaker 7: I got to have my phone on me, man, because
- 23:41Speaker 7: I got to stay in touch.
- 23:43Speaker 2: It's too much because my wife.
- 23:44Speaker 7: Laid her phone down all over the house, just walk
- 23:46Speaker 7: away from it. The kids already know. Let me call
- 23:50Speaker 7: daddy because he goes he gonna have this phone in
- 23:52Speaker 7: his pocket. Dadd is mom? Now, yes, she here. She
- 23:57Speaker 7: ain't answer her phone. Y'all already know she just laid
- 23:59Speaker 7: down walk off.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Yeah, she wants to know why was he so mad?
- 24:06Speaker 1: And you answered that for sure, Celo.
- 24:08Speaker 2: All right.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Moving on to Leon and Burbank, Leon writes, my wife
- 24:12Speaker 1: and I can argue and scream at each other, and
- 24:15Speaker 1: an hour later she's calling me baby and acting normal.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I'm usually still mad about whatever caused the argument, but
- 24:21Speaker 1: she's not. Why does my wife pick fights with me
- 24:24Speaker 1: over nonsent brum brum.
- 24:27Speaker 6: Listen to me. If an hour later she over it,
- 24:32Speaker 6: go enjoy your day.
- 24:34Speaker 1: But you're still mad?
- 24:37Speaker 2: No, bro, you you the man.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Let it go?
- 24:40Speaker 4: Yea?
- 24:41Speaker 7: How you still mad? The fire in the house has
- 24:45Speaker 7: been put out. I got put out. Don't worry about that.
- 24:48Speaker 7: Just go back in your house and enjoy your peace.
- 24:51Speaker 7: Now you want to stay mad, I don't under I'm
- 24:54Speaker 7: not finna out mad my wife.
- 24:55Speaker 2: That's not what I'm finna do. No.
- 24:58Speaker 7: We have an argument and and she come to me
- 25:00Speaker 7: and let it go. You best note we finish.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Yeah, because it could go really badly, right, she could
- 25:08Speaker 1: give you the SI treatment.
- 25:10Speaker 7: Yeah, I just moment and enjoy yourself.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Yeah, there's no way let it go.
- 25:20Speaker 6: I'm not I'm not.
- 25:21Speaker 2: I'm just not gonna stay.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Mad, all right, device yeah, all right. Moving on to
- 25:28Speaker 1: Robin in Milwaukee, Robin writes, I'm practically I've practically begged
- 25:33Speaker 1: my husband for sex the last five times we've had it.
- 25:37Speaker 1: He said it's him and not me. If his sex
- 25:40Speaker 1: drive has decreased, I get it. But I've heard him
- 25:43Speaker 1: in the shower and everything seems fine with him. So
- 25:47Speaker 1: why doesn't he want sex?
- 25:49Speaker 2: You're doing it in the shower.
- 25:53Speaker 1: She answered her own questions.
- 25:58Speaker 7: What's wrong, Steve, There's so many angles this could be coming.
- 26:03Speaker 1: From, you know, like.
- 26:06Speaker 7: He's telling you it's him, it's not you, right.
- 26:12Speaker 6: But you think he and the shower are doing something alone.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Yeah, she says she's heard him there and everything. Think's fine.
- 26:19Speaker 7: Well, then it's something he's doing alone. It's better than
- 26:27Speaker 7: when y'all together. Wow ah, or or another option. Yeah,
- 26:37Speaker 7: he's found a better way to accomplish something.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And it's just but he's telling you it's not you.
- 26:46Speaker 7: It could be him because don't know how long you've
- 26:49Speaker 7: been married, you know, you could lose attraction for a person.
- 26:53Speaker 7: Here's what I heard the guy say one time, and
- 26:55Speaker 7: this is going to be horrible, lady, So I just
- 26:57Speaker 7: want to tell you say a guy said one time,
- 27:00Speaker 7: he said, hey, man, you love your wife, right. The
- 27:05Speaker 7: other guy said yeah. He said, so what's your favorite meat?
- 27:10Speaker 7: And the guy said steak. He said, cool, you love steak?
- 27:15Speaker 7: He said, yes, I do. He said you don't want
- 27:18Speaker 7: no more fish and chicken.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I know.
- 27:26Speaker 1: He did not use meat.
- 27:29Speaker 6: To describe, and I had to sit back and go.
- 27:35Speaker 12: That's a good horrible I told y'all for I said it, y'all,
- 27:42Speaker 12: don't hate you practiced it?
- 27:44Speaker 7: Yeah, I just said it was good. But y'all, he said,
- 27:49Speaker 7: you don't want no more fish or ship?
- 27:52Speaker 1: God, what a dilemma. So that's what you're saying, that's
- 28:01Speaker 1: happening here? Could possibly no?
- 28:04Speaker 6: I was just using as I thought.
- 28:06Speaker 1: It was very cute, Oh.
- 28:09Speaker 6: Calling to make it cute because she got off the zoom.
- 28:13Speaker 1: You thought that was cute?
- 28:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I thought it was very funny doing it.
- 28:20Speaker 2: You gotter be killed for though. He gonna follow in
- 28:22Speaker 2: that shower.
- 28:26Speaker 1: He could hold on right, all right, you're done with
- 28:30Speaker 1: that one. Clo. We're moving on. Okay, last one, last one.
- 28:36Speaker 1: That's it.
- 28:37Speaker 6: That's all.
- 28:38Speaker 1: This is from Kenneth in Grand Prairie. Kenneth writes, my
- 28:41Speaker 1: girlfriend invited me to a wedding in Hawaii, and I
- 28:45Speaker 1: don't want to spend the money on the two airline tickets.
- 28:48Speaker 1: That's the only reason she invited me. Can I be
- 28:51Speaker 1: honest with her? Can I be honest and tell her
- 28:54Speaker 1: I don't want to spend the money or should I
- 28:56Speaker 1: lie to her?
- 28:59Speaker 9: Well?
- 29:00Speaker 7: Just say you don't want to spend the money, man,
- 29:03Speaker 7: tell the truth and that well, because this is easy
- 29:07Speaker 7: because it's going to open up the conversation you need
- 29:10Speaker 7: to have. He feels as though the only reason she
- 29:12Speaker 7: invited him to this wedding in Hawaii is so he
- 29:15Speaker 7: could pay for these tickets. Now, all he got to
- 29:19Speaker 7: do is say, Hey, I ain't really that cool with
- 29:21Speaker 7: them people, and I don't want to go in the
- 29:23Speaker 7: hole trying to go over here and see these two
- 29:25Speaker 7: people get married.
- 29:26Speaker 6: I I don't really know them like that. They ain't
- 29:28Speaker 6: even invite me.
- 29:29Speaker 7: They invited you and gave you the plus one, but
- 29:32Speaker 7: I don't want to go over there and spend that
- 29:34Speaker 7: kind of money.
- 29:34Speaker 2: I don't really know these people. And then she'll go,
- 29:38Speaker 2: so you don't want to go with me?
- 29:40Speaker 7: Now, I don't want to go with you all the
- 29:42Speaker 7: way to Hawaii to go to they wed which I
- 29:44Speaker 7: think that's why you want me to go, so I
- 29:46Speaker 7: can pay for these tickets.
- 29:47Speaker 6: Oh Lord, her message, that's the truth.
- 29:51Speaker 1: That's the truth.
- 29:52Speaker 6: Surelie, I didn't say, don't ever tell me?
- 29:55Speaker 5: Why did.
- 29:58Speaker 6: When the truth bus sit you?
- 30:03Speaker 7: Oh you don't need a never waste a good lot?
- 30:08Speaker 6: I mean, why would he say I gotta work that
- 30:10Speaker 6: week and then a lot?
- 30:16Speaker 1: Where's the logic in that huh, save you lot, Yes,
- 30:22Speaker 1: when you really truly need him. All right, thank you, Clo.
- 30:25Speaker 1: I guess coming up at the top of the hour,
- 30:28Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment news for you. Right after this.
- 30:31Speaker 1: You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. So, like Bruce Springsteen,
- 30:39Speaker 1: Bono and so many other artists, Legendary singer Michael McDonald
- 30:44Speaker 1: is also not a fan of President Trump and his administration.
- 30:49Speaker 1: According to Classic Rock magazine, McDonald said, quote, I think
- 30:53Speaker 1: it's important that all of us stand up and say
- 30:56Speaker 1: our peace here in the US. These are perilous time.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I'm afraid we are staring down a dark channel that
- 31:04Speaker 1: could lead to totalitarianism. Michael McDonald went on to say,
- 31:08Speaker 1: in part, we've got a guy who doesn't want to
- 31:11Speaker 1: be president of the United States as much as he
- 31:14Speaker 1: wants to be one of the points of light, the
- 31:16Speaker 1: whole axis of everything he wants the world. So that's
- 31:21Speaker 1: according to Michael McDonald, Yeah, he's saying, yeah, you heard him, Yeah,
- 31:27Speaker 1: dic leadership much.
- 31:29Speaker 7: You know that's president is an interesting human being man,
- 31:34Speaker 7: because I've never seen anybody in an authoritative position like
- 31:39Speaker 7: this take so many positions on stuff that's so minute.
- 31:44Speaker 7: I've never met a person who was supposed to be
- 31:47Speaker 7: relevantly important have so much time for smaller issues, Like
- 31:54Speaker 7: he got time to comment on a singer that don't
- 31:57Speaker 7: like him, Bruce Springsteen. I mean he has time for that.
- 32:02Speaker 7: Most presidents just know there's going to be a certain
- 32:05Speaker 7: amount of hate come with the job. Just going about
- 32:07Speaker 7: your business. He don't let nothing go once it crosses
- 32:11Speaker 7: his death. That's crazy, man, that you even have the
- 32:15Speaker 7: time yea, to even acknowledge something like this.
- 32:21Speaker 6: Man, that's what's.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right.
- 32:25Speaker 2: But you just go what what?
- 32:28Speaker 1: Man?
- 32:29Speaker 10: And if it's about don't you got something to do
- 32:33Speaker 10: to that?
- 32:33Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 32:34Speaker 7: Yeah, petty Yeah, I mean, I mean little bitty stuff.
- 32:38Speaker 7: He comments on every single thing. He has time for
- 32:42Speaker 7: the and if especially if it's about him, because he's
- 32:46Speaker 7: a narcissist, so if you say anything about him, he's
- 32:49Speaker 7: compelled to say something back. That's a dangerous person to
- 32:53Speaker 7: have in charge. Besides the amount of non truths he tells.
- 33:01Speaker 7: I mean, it's just out and out blatant lies that
- 33:04Speaker 7: you say. Man, the thing he did about Biden the
- 33:07Speaker 7: other day, talking about you know, he said, wow, you
- 33:10Speaker 7: know the guy's been sick. I don't know how we
- 33:13Speaker 7: didn't know about this. I mean, stage nine cancer takes
- 33:16Speaker 7: a really long time. Yeah yeah, yeah he said that,
- 33:25Speaker 7: but it was on the John Daily Show. Dal Hughgley
- 33:28Speaker 7: posted it. I mean he said it. He said, I
- 33:31Speaker 7: think he could have let us know. I mean, how
- 33:32Speaker 7: to get like that? I mean, stage nine cancer takes
- 33:35Speaker 7: a really long time. And he's not a great guy.
- 33:38Speaker 7: He's a bad but I don't feel sorry for him.
- 33:41Speaker 7: I mean he's saying it's about Joe Biden man, a
- 33:44Speaker 7: man who's really stricken right now.
- 33:47Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:50Speaker 7: That's how you know that. That was the administration's text
- 33:54Speaker 7: that first went out. Our heart goes out to Joe
- 33:57Speaker 7: and Jill and we're praying for to say because no,
- 34:01Speaker 7: that went out from White House.
- 34:04Speaker 2: He posted, Oh man, what he posted? That's the real dude.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Yeah, total opposite of that. And speaking of Trump, the
- 34:12Speaker 1: President weighed in on whether or not he's willing to
- 34:15Speaker 1: give Ditty a get out of free, get out of
- 34:17Speaker 1: jail free card on Friday, Trump, who has used his
- 34:20Speaker 1: presidential powers to partn Diddy if convicted, Trump said, I
- 34:26Speaker 1: haven't seen him, I haven't spoken to him in years.
- 34:29Speaker 1: He really used to like me a lot. There goes
- 34:32Speaker 1: the narcissism you were talking about, Steve. But I think
- 34:35Speaker 1: when I ran for politics sort of that relationship busted up.
- 34:39Speaker 1: The President went on to say he hasn't been watching
- 34:41Speaker 1: the trial too closely, but believes that some people have
- 34:45Speaker 1: been very close to asking him for a pardon. Whether
- 34:48Speaker 1: or not he'll cut did he a break he is
- 34:50Speaker 1: yet to decide, explaining I would certainly look at the facts.
- 34:54Speaker 1: If I think somebody was mistreated, whether they like me
- 34:57Speaker 1: or don't like me, it wouldn't have the impact on me. Huh,
- 35:02Speaker 1: that's me.
- 35:08Speaker 6: That's not true.
- 35:10Speaker 7: Yeah, and you know, but like once again, why does
- 35:14Speaker 7: he even have time for the Diddy trial?
- 35:18Speaker 2: Right?
- 35:19Speaker 1: Sort of that or to.
- 35:20Speaker 7: Politics, you could tolerate him and deal with him because
- 35:25Speaker 7: he wasn't in charge of you in any capacity.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Was the reality TV star and people.
- 35:32Speaker 6: Cool, cool show, all of that, Tower was cool, all
- 35:36Speaker 6: that's cool.
- 35:37Speaker 7: When he started running for politics, that's when it kind
- 35:40Speaker 7: of changed.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Man, I said, I don't know, I don't know you
- 35:44Speaker 2: think that.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Yeah, there, well, not a break off, but just a
- 35:52Speaker 1: regular party. Yeah, I don't know.
- 35:55Speaker 2: That was a difference.
- 35:57Speaker 10: Yeah, there's after your priority yeah, same minu maybe.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Maybe, yeah, it goes down after Yeah, all right. Finally,
- 36:15Speaker 1: in trending political news, according to USA Today and the
- 36:18Speaker 1: Atlanta Journal Constitution, one of Georgia's top Democrats and former
- 36:23Speaker 1: Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, announced her candidacy for Georgia governor. Bottoms,
- 36:28Speaker 1: who most recently served as an advisor to former President
- 36:31Speaker 1: Joe Biden, said she is running to fight for Georgians
- 36:34Speaker 1: amid what she described as quote chaos and uncertainty coming
- 36:39Speaker 1: out of Washington d C. Candidates in the Georgia governor's
- 36:43Speaker 1: race in twenty twenty six will be buying for an
- 36:45Speaker 1: open seat with Governor Brian Kemp term limited after his
- 36:49Speaker 1: two consecutive terms. So there you go. Yeah, yeah, ky, yeah,
- 36:55Speaker 1: governor of Bottoms.
- 36:56Speaker 6: She has a real chance. Term is up.
- 37:01Speaker 2: If Kemp's turn wasn't up, it'd be rough.
- 37:03Speaker 1: She has a real chant.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Yeah. She's really really.
- 37:06Speaker 6: Great person man, super smart person.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Yeah, all right.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Colleges are teaching adulting classes to help young people learn
- 37:16Speaker 1: life skills. We'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 37:20Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:27Speaker 6: Do you think astronauts fight over elbow room? Probably?
- 37:31Speaker 7: Because advanced tech doesn't always mean more space. Until now
- 37:35Speaker 7: introduce it the Hondai Ionic nine, a three row electric
- 37:40Speaker 7: suv with over three hundred miles of range, ultra.
- 37:43Speaker 6: Fast charging capability, and lots of space.
- 37:46Speaker 2: The all new Hondai Ionic nine face and an ev
- 37:49Speaker 2: Visit Hondai usa dot com for more details. EPA estimated
- 37:53Speaker 2: rings for nine based on fully charged batteries for comparison
- 37:55Speaker 2: purpose only. Actual rings will vary based on several factors.
- 37:59Speaker 1: You know, we send are kids to college with a
- 38:01Speaker 1: high school education, but it turns out a lot of
- 38:04Speaker 1: them don't know things like doing laundry. They don't know
- 38:07Speaker 1: how to grocery shop or pay their bills. And that's
- 38:10Speaker 1: why classes on how to adult are popping up at
- 38:13Speaker 1: college campuses across the country. Colleges like Michigan State University
- 38:18Speaker 1: are stepping up to teach it. They offer Adulting one
- 38:22Speaker 1: oh one class to help them learn to navigate the
- 38:25Speaker 1: complexities of everyday life as an independent adult. It focuses
- 38:30Speaker 1: on practical life skills as well as financial literacy, credit banking,
- 38:35Speaker 1: and budgeting. So here's a question, guys, how would you
- 38:39Speaker 1: rate your young adults basic life skills like can your
- 38:42Speaker 1: kids do these things like you know, credit balance their
- 38:46Speaker 1: checkbooks that they have that still practical life skills? What
- 38:51Speaker 1: do you think? What do you say?
- 38:53Speaker 9: So you said these classes at Michigan State University State University,
- 38:57Speaker 9: because he's going.
- 38:59Speaker 5: He's going, do they teach bathing in there?
- 39:03Speaker 9: That's that's why he goes practical life skill just bathing
- 39:08Speaker 9: if that's the first step he needs to be in
- 39:10Speaker 9: there for that.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Forget financial literacy.
- 39:14Speaker 5: He ain't got no money away, so just bathing is.
- 39:16Speaker 5: But he needs teaching. Get this funk off of you.
- 39:20Speaker 6: That's what we do.
- 39:21Speaker 1: That that's important. But what else do y'all think? Like
- 39:26Speaker 1: young adults? Y'all have older like I look at boys.
- 39:30Speaker 2: They can't They can't change a flat.
- 39:32Speaker 1: It's the clueless about stuff like that, life survival.
- 39:35Speaker 2: They can't cut a yard.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Wow, just stuff.
- 39:38Speaker 2: It's just simple stuff. They can't change all in the
- 39:41Speaker 2: car if you need. They don't know what to do, especially.
- 39:44Speaker 7: Giving them a lifestyle where they don't have to do that.
- 39:48Speaker 7: My kids never had to cut the grass. My kids
- 39:52Speaker 7: didn't have changed They tie the oil.
- 39:55Speaker 1: You know, that's kind of our fault, the parents fault.
- 39:58Speaker 1: But yeah, because you wanted to get them. That's your
- 40:00Speaker 1: great life once you Yeah, if you were doing well,
- 40:03Speaker 1: so you wanted to repass.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Over giving us some skills set at the same.
- 40:07Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah, which but which was the whole intent
- 40:13Speaker 7: was so your children don't have to have the life
- 40:16Speaker 7: you had. Backfires, It did. And I was talking to
- 40:22Speaker 7: a guy. He says, Steve, you ain't the only person
- 40:25Speaker 7: going through this. All of us are, he said. Don't
- 40:27Speaker 7: feel bad, he said. Society as a whole has created
- 40:31Speaker 7: this generation, he said, and Google began it because now
- 40:35Speaker 7: Google cut down having to research, having to think, and
- 40:41Speaker 7: all of a sudden, everything is at your fingertail. And
- 40:44Speaker 7: we have created a society, the whole generation of young
- 40:48Speaker 7: people who can't think for themselves.
- 40:51Speaker 6: Now they got AI. You just press a button.
- 40:55Speaker 2: So now and we had what we had encyclopedia, this l.
- 41:01Speaker 1: And a library call and a library car. You got
- 41:05Speaker 1: that right, No sales phone. All right, guys, coming up
- 41:12Speaker 1: at thirty four minutes after the hour, we're gonna check
- 41:15Speaker 1: your voicemail Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Right
- 41:18Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, and it's
- 41:27Speaker 1: time now Steve to check your voicemail at eight seven
- 41:30Speaker 1: seven twenty nine. Steve, you can call and leave a
- 41:33Speaker 1: message and you just might hear your call on the air.
- 41:36Speaker 1: You're ready, Steve, here we go.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Yep.
- 41:40Speaker 1: This caller would like some advice on just international travel
- 41:44Speaker 1: as you.
- 41:45Speaker 11: Do this morning, Steve in the morning three. This is
- 41:46Speaker 11: David out of Louisiana. My question is have I take
- 41:50Speaker 11: a birthday trip every year and I try to visit
- 41:53Speaker 11: a different country every year. Africa has been on my
- 41:56Speaker 11: mind a lot less. So my question is what is
- 41:59Speaker 11: some of the best parts of Africas that is it
- 42:01Speaker 11: for first time or or for anyone for that matter.
- 42:04Speaker 11: Thank you love what you guys do. God bless you.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:07Speaker 6: If I went to Africa for the first time, I
- 42:10Speaker 6: go to Ghana.
- 42:11Speaker 1: No, the country of Ghana.
- 42:13Speaker 7: Yeah, Ghana, That's why I would go first. Gna is
- 42:18Speaker 7: very receptive. It still has plenty for you to see
- 42:24Speaker 7: that's untouched. Every African American should go to the slave
- 42:29Speaker 7: Castle so you can see what they did and how
- 42:34Speaker 7: they did it and how and their thought process and
- 42:37Speaker 7: you can see it today. You can see that thought
- 42:41Speaker 7: process today and you can see how they've conducted business
- 42:45Speaker 7: with us for over four hundred years and it's amazing, man.
- 42:50Speaker 7: And then you got to go to Gane just to
- 42:53Speaker 7: see the food, the culture, the people are beautiful. That's
- 42:57Speaker 7: a great place to start. But Africa has so much
- 43:02Speaker 7: to see. You can't go without going on the safaris.
- 43:05Speaker 7: So you can just understand really what wildlife really is,
- 43:09Speaker 7: Joe Berg. You gotta see it because it's really metropolis there,
- 43:14Speaker 7: the very fast paced uh, the cars, everything you see.
- 43:20Speaker 6: But an hour and a half away and you can.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Get eight wait what.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's that's the shock of it.
- 43:29Speaker 6: What you go, Joe Bird. But an hour and a
- 43:33Speaker 6: half flight later you can get eight file.
- 43:38Speaker 7: And that's what you need to understand about Africa when
- 43:41Speaker 7: you go on these safaris.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Remember this.
- 43:43Speaker 6: Now, everything you see out there in order to eat,
- 43:46Speaker 6: they gotta kill something.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, just is dope, man.
- 43:51Speaker 2: I mean that's a dope thing to see. They're not
- 43:54Speaker 2: because nobody's feeding.
- 43:55Speaker 7: Nobody's second little bowl and milk out anybody barely, no.
- 43:59Speaker 6: Hate, none.
- 44:03Speaker 7: This is this is different And you go, wait a minute, man,
- 44:07Speaker 7: this is intense because you look at animals that killed
- 44:10Speaker 7: to eat, they.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Look at you different.
- 44:13Speaker 5: They look like food.
- 44:15Speaker 2: And if you stay on that range rover and they
- 44:18Speaker 2: stay motionless.
- 44:19Speaker 7: They accept that as an innate object that moves, and
- 44:23Speaker 7: that's why they tell you don't stand up, wave your hands,
- 44:25Speaker 7: don't make no sudden movements and bring out individuality. They
- 44:30Speaker 7: recognize that range rover as a non food source and
- 44:33Speaker 7: they're used to seeing it come through the range. If
- 44:37Speaker 7: you stand up and wave your arms, then they go, oh.
- 44:42Speaker 2: And you can't. Now.
- 44:43Speaker 7: The only ones, the only animals that know the difference
- 44:47Speaker 7: is elephants and monkeys. They know you're an individual, so
- 44:51Speaker 7: don't even go over that playing with them, because because
- 44:55Speaker 7: they know you an individual, they don't ain't buying the
- 44:57Speaker 7: truck business. It's so interesting to go man, but Africa
- 45:02Speaker 7: gods and you gotta go on surpar.
- 45:04Speaker 1: It's crazy over all, right, Okay, it's crazy. Good to know.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Moving on to Robin from Baltimore. He left your message, Steve. Hey, Steve,
- 45:15Speaker 1: this is Robin from Baltimore.
- 45:17Speaker 2: I'm watching Celebrity Family Food see and you.
- 45:21Speaker 4: Come strutting out there with that tea tone weed to
- 45:25Speaker 4: get own nails done, called hombre, that teetne bird in
- 45:28Speaker 4: black suit, that seat is smoked. Gain you did that thing?
- 45:33Speaker 1: I love the outfit.
- 45:34Speaker 7: I love the look.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Thank you, miss Robin.
- 45:36Speaker 7: Yeah, this year would be a whole new look out
- 45:40Speaker 7: of celebrity this year because my stylist has cut a deal.
- 45:46Speaker 7: As a matter of fact, I have a phone call
- 45:47Speaker 7: with these people today and maybe something cooking, but a
- 45:53Speaker 7: new new design for the upcoming season.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Mary again, bluer bluer cheese.
- 46:08Speaker 4: Love it.
- 46:11Speaker 1: All right, Thanks for your calls. We appreciate it. Coming
- 46:14Speaker 1: up next, it is the Nephew and today's prank phone call.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour. Right about
- 46:29Speaker 1: four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today, and
- 46:32Speaker 1: the subject is why do men disappear on me? All right,
- 46:37Speaker 1: we'll find out what that's all about in just a
- 46:39Speaker 1: few She really has an issue with that. Right now,
- 46:43Speaker 1: the Nephew is here with today's prank phone called Nephew.

- 56:48Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject, am I dating Cinderella? Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:53Speaker 1: When I met my new friend, it was like a
- 56:55Speaker 1: fairytale romance. I'm twenty eight and he's thirty five and
- 56:59Speaker 1: perfect for me because I prayed for an older man
- 57:02Speaker 1: but not too old. He has a photography studio and
- 57:06Speaker 1: I booked him for a Christmas photo shoot for me
- 57:08Speaker 1: and my daughter. After the photo shoot, he asked me
- 57:12Speaker 1: to have dinner with him, so my daughter and I
- 57:14Speaker 1: went to dinner with him. After that, he planned dinner
- 57:17Speaker 1: dates with us every night that week. I couldn't wait
- 57:20Speaker 1: for my daughter to go to her dad's later that
- 57:22Speaker 1: week so I could spend quality time with my new friend.
- 57:25Speaker 1: He had kept telling me how good he was in bed,
- 57:28Speaker 1: and I couldn't wait to see It. Was supposed to
- 57:32Speaker 1: go down at his house, but it was raining really badly,
- 57:35Speaker 1: so he came over to my house. We didn't waste
- 57:38Speaker 1: time talking. We went straight to bed. He had exaggerated
- 57:42Speaker 1: a little bit on his skill level, but it was
- 57:45Speaker 1: still good for an older man. Since the weather was bad,
- 57:49Speaker 1: I thought he would spend the night.
- 57:51Speaker 2: He didn't.
- 57:52Speaker 1: He got up around eleven thirty and got dressed quickly,
- 57:55Speaker 1: like he was late for work or something. I told
- 57:58Speaker 1: him to call me when he got home, but I didn't,
- 58:00Speaker 1: and hear from him until the next day, he said
- 58:02Speaker 1: he missed me, and he asked if he could see me.
- 58:05Speaker 1: I said we could meet for dinner. He said he
- 58:07Speaker 1: wanted to pick up food and eat at my house instead.
- 58:10Speaker 1: We ate, then we had sex, and then he told
- 58:13Speaker 1: me that he needed to be home by midnight. I
- 58:16Speaker 1: told him that it was not cute to have sex
- 58:19Speaker 1: and run out. He apologized, but said he really had
- 58:22Speaker 1: to go. He has done this four times, and I
- 58:24Speaker 1: wonder what's so significant about midnight? He told me to
- 58:28Speaker 1: chill and learn to live in the moment. What's up
- 58:31Speaker 1: with this man? Am I dating Cinderella? No, not Cinderella
- 58:36Speaker 1: or Cindefella, none of those. He's just married, that's all.
- 58:41Speaker 10: I mean.
- 58:41Speaker 1: You're his side piece and he has to do You
- 58:45Speaker 1: then make sure he's home before his wife gets in.
- 58:48Speaker 1: That's his curfew. That's all. He's pretty much told you
- 58:52Speaker 1: that when he said he had to get home by midnight.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Except why didn't you ask him why? Right then?
- 58:57Speaker 2: And there?
- 58:58Speaker 1: Are you afraid to ask him these important questions? You
- 59:01Speaker 1: need to know this. You can't be scared. That's something
- 59:04Speaker 1: you definitely need to know because you are clearly not
- 59:07Speaker 1: reading between the lines here. Has that not crossed your mind,
- 59:11Speaker 1: not even once, that he could be married. That's why
- 59:14Speaker 1: he's racing home and doing all this stuff, eating at
- 59:17Speaker 1: your house. I mean, the clues are there. You want
- 59:19Speaker 1: to go out, he wants food, to bring it to
- 59:21Speaker 1: the house so he won't get caught being out with
- 59:24Speaker 1: you or something. Please ask him these questions so you
- 59:27Speaker 1: can get the answers you need and move on with
- 59:30Speaker 1: your life.
- 59:31Speaker 7: Steve, Well, have you ever read a letter in wid
- 59:37Speaker 7: because I mean, Shirley answered the letter really adequately.
- 59:40Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 59:41Speaker 7: I mean, it's just it's glaringly obvious to everybody that
- 59:45Speaker 7: has heard this letter what this situation is.
- 59:51Speaker 1: But I don't know.
- 59:52Speaker 6: Some people you have to slow welcome through.
- 59:53Speaker 7: Information because a lot of times you want, you want
- 59:59Speaker 7: to leave for your heart's sake, And I get it,
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: I get it. You want to believe for your heart's sake,
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: so you shut your brain off from doing what it's
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: supposed to do.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: And that's like think.
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: A person's brain is designed to think, to absorb information
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: to learn. Obviously, you don't want to absorb no information
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: because you don't want to learn the facts here. So
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: there's nothing we can do to help you.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: But here we go.
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: I met my new friend. It was like a fairy
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: tale romance. See that's all she wanted. She wants a
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: fairy tale romance. See just listen to this letter, y'all.
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: I met my new friend. It was like a fairy
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: tale romance. Okay, she's been wanting that since a little girl.
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: He's twenty eight and thirty five and perfect for me
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: because I prayed for a older man. Okay, so now
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: as soon as.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: You meet an older man, you immediately.
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: Begin your fair tell romance. Now, if you twenty eight
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: and he thirty five, I don't want to break this
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: two news to you, But that ain't really no older man.
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: That's just another dude. Because women and men mature differently.
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: Women is a known fact.
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: This is not me talking.
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: Women mature more quickly and rapidly than men because they
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: have to, because somewhere in their teenage years, they start
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: experiencing these little girl moments that has to grow them
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: up a little bit quicker. They have to start working
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: around a certain time and all this hit and they
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: had to prepare themselves.
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: So they mature quicker than boys, and.
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: They have to think about what they're doing and what happens,
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: and you know, reproduction and the boys we just done
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: for a long term. So he's got a photography studio.
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: In that studio, you book for a Christmas photo shoot,
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: you and your daughter. After the photo shoot, they asked
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: you and your daughter to dinner. They went, and after
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: that he's playing dinner day for us every night that week.
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: Ain't that nice? This is a fairy tale rooman He
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: loves you and the baby. So I couldn't I couldn't
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: wait for my daughter to go to her dad's later
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: that week so I could spend some quality time with
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: my new friends.
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: And he had been telling me how good he was
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: in bed. I could not wait to see.
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: It was supposed to go down at his house, but
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: it was raining really bad, so he came over to
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: my house.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: All right, now, hold up.
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: Right there, unless he stays in a refrigerator box, I.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: Don't really know what that rain got to do with it.
- 1:02:32Speaker 7: Now, if you if you stay under the bridge, you
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: know in your rool is a refrigerator box or tarp,
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: then I understand you know.
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: You ain't you know? Okay, but I don't know how.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: But it raining really bad, So he came we didn't
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: waste no time talking. We went straight to bed.
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: He had exaggerated a little bit on his skill level,
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: but it was still good for an older man.
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: I ain't gonna tell you no more thirty five.
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: That ain't no older man don't give bedroom skills at
- 1:03:01Speaker 7: thirty five.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, coming up for twenty five.
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: Minutes, still bringing it that when you give your PRIs.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: Twenty three minutes after the out will have part two
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: of your response Today's Strawberry Letter subject, Am I dating Cinderella?
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: Do you think astronauts fight over elbow room?
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: Probably because advanced tech doesn't always mean more space. Until now,
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: introduce it the Hondai Ionic nine, a three row electric
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: suv with over three hundred miles of range, ultra fast
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: charging capability, and lots of space.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: The all new Hondai Ionic nine face in an EV.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Visit Hondai USA dot com for more details. EPA estimated
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: rings for Oing nine based on fully charged batteries for
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: comparison purpose only. Actual rings will vary based on several factors.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Come on, Steve Let's recap Today's strawberry letter. The subject is,
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: am I dating Cinderella?
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: Well, this lady that mechtus what she claims as a romance,
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: a fairy tale romance. So what she didne did was
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: she didne got with this guy that she met. That
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: he's older than her. He's thirty five, she twenty eight.
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: He said, that's what she had been praying for an
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: older man. He not really older. Thirty five and twenty eight,
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: that's seven years. That's just another dude.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: You done matter.
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: Now, y'all had got together, y'all went over. You went
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: to a photography studio with your daughter doing a Christmas
- 1:04:35Speaker 7: photo shoot. He took your picture, then he asked y'all
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: to dinner. You and your daughter, y'all went out to dinner,
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: had a nice time. Then he's just playing a dinner
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: date for y'all every night that week. Okay, cool, let's work.
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: Then you couldn't wait for her, your daughter, to go
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: to a daddy house this weekend, because so you could
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: spend some quality time with your new friend.
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: And he had been bragging about how good he was
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: in bed.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: Now, I don't know at what part of the dinner
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: with you and the daughter where he was letting you
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: know what how good he was. But I showed her,
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: like have been at the table when he was sliding
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: that past. Oh baby, you like to wear your steak done? Yeah,
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: I really know how to do steak him. He ain't
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: want some baked cookies or when it comes to bacon,
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: that's what I do. I likes to bake that cookie.
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: So I'm just assuming these is the conversation he had
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: to have at dinner with you and the daughter to
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: let you know how good he was in bed.
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: You couldn't wait. Well you got there, now, y'all.
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: Was supposed to go down at your house, but it
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: rained real bad, so he had to stay at home.
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: He had we well it had to. He was coming
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: to he was.
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: He was supposed to be at his house, but it
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: rained real bad, so he came over to your house. Now,
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: like I said, unless he stay under the bridge in
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: a refrigerator box, I.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: Don't know what the hell they got to do with it.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: But you didn't see that. It's okay.
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: So then you said he exaggerated a little.
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: Bit how good he was in bed, but it was
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: still good. And uh and and she said, and he
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: was uh, he said, but it was still good for
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: an older man. Let me explain some of you post
- 1:06:19Speaker 7: to still be good at thirty five. Matter of fact,
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: you're starting to come into your own. You don't really
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: get this sex thing down as a man. To you
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: an e forty, you got to help you, you know,
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: disappointed a couple of people before, you know, you had
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: to have found out that you ain't what all you
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: thought you was a couple of times. You know, to
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: get your game up, you got to be in your forty.
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: He was pretty good for an old man at thirty five. Lady,
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: If that's what you're thinking, oh, you're in trouble now.
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: If he was seventy and you was telling me this,
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: I'd be clapping for the dude. But he thirty five,
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: he posted to still be good. You don't get you
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: don't get it. You get no credit for being thirty
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: five and can still go.
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: That's no good.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: He got up and he got about eleven thirty, and
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: he got dressed quickly, like he was late for work
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: or something. I told him to call me when he
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: got home, but I ain't hear from him till the
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: next day. He said he missed me and asked him
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: he could see me again. I said we could meet
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: for dinner. He said he wanted to pick up the
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: food and eat at my house instead. We ate, then
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: we had sex. Then he told me he needed to
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: be home by midnight. I told him that's not cute
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: to have sex and run out. He apologized and said,
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: I really got to go. I'll give it boy, what
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: you think is cute. I got skipped mia to the house.
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: He was done.
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: He has done this four times, and I wonder what
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: is so significant about midnight? He told me to chill
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: and learn to live in the moment. What's up with
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: this man and my dating a Cinderella? Well, you're not
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: dating a Cinderella. You're not dating a cinder fella. You're
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: dating somebody else's fella.
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: That's all it is.
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: He You ain't dating Cinderella, You're dating somebody else's fella.
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: He got to be at that house by twelve because
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: she know what time the studio closed, and he booked
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: his last appointment, and she know how far that appointment
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: is from the house. Why are you sitting up here
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: talking about what's up with this man? Am I dating
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: a Cinderella?
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: No?
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: He's Judy.
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: You you you maybe you don't need no older man.
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: Matter of fact, you twenty eight, you need to start
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: dating a twenty one year old. You need That's what
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: you need to do. Once you got up in the thirties.
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: I don't know what man in his thirties and don't
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: don't come with with nothing. What what man don't have
- 1:08:47Speaker 7: a history by the time he thirty. You need to
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: find out if he got children, if he got a wife,
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: he got a family, he got a living in lover.
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: You need to find out where his kids stay.
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: You ain't ask no question because you were so content
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: on saying you met your fairy tale romance and he
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: was what you prayed for.
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: He was older.
- 1:09:10Speaker 7: Just because you pray for something don't mean it's God
- 1:09:13Speaker 7: descending it to you. See, you got to ask some questions.
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: God.
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: You can always meet the older man. Hell, that ain't hard.
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: Why that's hard? You can meet the older man, that's easy.
- 1:09:28Speaker 7: But you want an older man that's available for you? Right,
- 1:09:32Speaker 7: You didn't get none of that information, sister, you not.
- 1:09:35Speaker 7: You haven't asked one relevant question because you were too
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: busy and join your fairy tale romance and this older
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: man that you had prayed for, that God said to you.
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: Only thing was God didn't send him to you. You
- 1:09:51Speaker 7: just coincidentally met an older man. Several women have met
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: that same man.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: All right, I'm a sun Today's Strawberry Letter on Instagram

- 1:14:12Speaker 1: All right, So this is from Vic on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Vic writes, last weekend, I was at my homeboy's mama's
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: house for a barbecue and went into the house. As
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: I was walking out, my friend's mama started talking to
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: me in the hallway and she was flirting. I'd be
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: lying if I said I wasn't into it. But I'm curious.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: What what are the downsides of taking my friend's mama
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: up on her offer of getting together and seeing what's
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: what happens? Yeah, he wants to date his friend's mom
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: and he wants to know you getting.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Called by your friend is the downs If your boy
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: find out you over there doing something with his mama,
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: that's the downside, I see.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: But she flirted with him.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: Don't get the cookout dog, That's what this is. Mama
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: is gonna have to cook it all right now. She's
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: flirting with you, and you think that's a connection right there.
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: You think the connection is a margarita. That's what it is.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: Your mama thinking at the cookoff. Okay, now, if you're
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: gonna listen, really it should have happened then right then.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: But you can always say if she's fine, you make
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: those exceptions from you guys.
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: His mama probably the boy mama probably is fine because
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: he's over there thinking about it. He's already, so if
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: you're thinking about it, she's fine. Now where's y'all fining?
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: Y'all got to get out this house, in this cookout
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: and get somewhere else to make this happen. But you
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: can't jump it off right there at the boy house.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: Not not not not not that as not at his
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: house with his mama. Dog. Don't don't. I got mama fined.

- 1:17:22Speaker 1: in pain, but every time I ask him, he insists
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: he's fine. I'm pretty sure he's nursing a back injury,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: but he's too proud to admit it. I don't think
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: less of him for being hurt. It happened. How do
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: I get him to open up and stop pretending he's invincible?
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: I think he nurses some fact, that's a lot of stuff.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: You don't see what you want to do? He nursing something,
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: all right, He didn't got bigger. That's what you need

- 1:18:28Speaker 5: we can do?
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: But it's okay, I mean, that's why he's in the gym.

- 1:25:53Speaker 2: Steve, you have some words with some You.
- 1:25:57Speaker 7: Know, I've been very fortunate in my life that God
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: has afforded me a lot of grace and a lot
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: of favor in my life.
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: You know, I work hard.
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: I do understand that I put forth a lot of
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: effort because I do adhere to the principle that if
- 1:26:17Speaker 7: you plan on being successful, it's going to require an
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: all out, massive effort. It's going to take everything you have.
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: I thank God that I have been willing to do
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: mostly everything that was requested of me in order to
- 1:26:33Speaker 7: become successful. I'll just put it that way. I'm pretty
- 1:26:36Speaker 7: sure there has more coming, but so far I've tried
- 1:26:39Speaker 7: to answer to bail and answer the call. But with
- 1:26:43Speaker 7: that being said, my life is still filled with a
- 1:26:46Speaker 7: great amount of mercy and grace that God has done
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: for me almost the unthinkable. And the reason I say
- 1:26:56Speaker 7: the unthinkable because oftentimes people say, hey, man, Stee, did
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: you see yourself being here? And it kills me when
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: people say, yeah, I always imagine myself here, Well, how
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: did you do that? How did you imagine something that
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: you didn't know was possible? Because what I've also learned
- 1:27:16Speaker 7: is if you can imagine it, it's possible. It is
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: impossible to think an impossible thought. That's impossible. You know
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: what I mean, It's impossible. How should I phrase this?
- 1:27:32Speaker 7: Let me see, you can't have a thought that's not
- 1:27:37Speaker 7: doable or thinkable or attainable. Some weighe some shape or fashion,
- 1:27:42Speaker 7: because everything we have in this world, somebody thought of it.
- 1:27:46Speaker 7: I'm not phrasing it exactly the way I want to, because,
- 1:27:48Speaker 7: as I do, most of my clothes remarks is off
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: the top of my head. But I do know one
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: thing that if it had not been for God's grace
- 1:27:57Speaker 7: and mercy, i am not who I am today. I
- 1:28:00Speaker 7: am clear about that. Somebody sent me something the other
- 1:28:04Speaker 7: day that really touched me.
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: He sent this to me.
- 1:28:08Speaker 7: He said, God has a tendency of picking up a
- 1:28:12Speaker 7: nobody to become a somebody in front of everybody without
- 1:28:19Speaker 7: asking anybody. That It put tears in my eyes, and
- 1:28:25Speaker 7: I sent it to a few people that I knew
- 1:28:27Speaker 7: would understand it. Once again, he said, God has a
- 1:28:32Speaker 7: tendency of picking up a nobody to become a somebody
- 1:28:37Speaker 7: in front of everybody without asking anybody. And I'm telling you, man,
- 1:28:45Speaker 7: if that ain't me, I just don't know what was
- 1:28:50Speaker 7: what is because I was just a nobody that God,
- 1:28:55Speaker 7: through his grace picked me up and turned me into somebody,
- 1:29:03Speaker 7: and he did it in front of everybody, and he
- 1:29:07Speaker 7: didn't ask anybody. And I'm sure glad he did. And
- 1:29:12Speaker 7: do you know something, man, we are all we are
- 1:29:16Speaker 7: all privy to that. But in order to be privy
- 1:29:19Speaker 7: to it, you gotta be willing to follow some instructions.
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: And the instructions you follow can't just be yours. Your
- 1:29:28Speaker 7: people say all the time, I do what I want
- 1:29:30Speaker 7: to do. I'm gonna live my life where I could
- 1:29:32Speaker 7: do how I want to do, when I want to.
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: Do it how I want to do it.
- 1:29:35Speaker 7: That ain't how I work, man. Sorry, sorry, That's not
- 1:29:38Speaker 7: the equation to real success. That's not the equation because
- 1:29:43Speaker 7: to whom much is given, much is required. That are
- 1:29:47Speaker 7: going to be requirements along the way. You don't get
- 1:29:50Speaker 7: it free. You just don't get it free.
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:29:55Speaker 7: I've often said, convenience is built through inconvenience. See, if
- 1:30:01Speaker 7: you want to have a convenient life, the only way
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: to have a convenient life, it is built through a
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: series of inconvenient things. And when I tell you a series,
- 1:30:12Speaker 7: I'm talking about a life full of them. Don't sit
- 1:30:15Speaker 7: up and think you just gonna have one or two,
- 1:30:17Speaker 7: three or four inconvenient moments to have an incredible life
- 1:30:21Speaker 7: of convenience, because that's not how it works. You are
- 1:30:25Speaker 7: going to have a series of inconveniences. You are going
- 1:30:30Speaker 7: to be required to lay in it way longer than
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: you want to. You're gonna have to wallow in it
- 1:30:36Speaker 7: way longer than you want to. You're gonna have to
- 1:30:38Speaker 7: deal with it way longer than you want to deal
- 1:30:40Speaker 7: with it. That's what it is, man, that's the requirement.
- 1:30:47Speaker 7: But in order to have a life of convenience, it
- 1:30:49Speaker 7: is built through inconvenience. And if you want your life
- 1:30:53Speaker 7: to be convenient, you got to deal with the inconveniences
- 1:30:56Speaker 7: that come along with getting convenient.
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: Period slid. This ain't no rule.
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: Steve Harvey came up with this is life, man. You
- 1:31:05Speaker 7: hear people say it all the time. If it's successful, easy,
- 1:31:08Speaker 7: everybody would have it. That's the truth. So if you're
- 1:31:11Speaker 7: not willing to be inconvenienced, and you don't like being inconvenienced,
- 1:31:17Speaker 7: then you can get off wanting the convenience because it
- 1:31:21Speaker 7: requires the inconvenience to get the convenience. I'm sorry to
- 1:31:26Speaker 7: tell you that, but I'm also happy to tell you that,
- 1:31:30Speaker 7: so it could clear up any confusion that you might
- 1:31:32Speaker 7: be having. Oh why am I going through this old
- 1:31:34Speaker 7: woe is me? Because it ain't just old woe is you,
- 1:31:37Speaker 7: It's old woe is everybody that wants a life of convenience.
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: You have got to deal with the inconvenience. And in closing,
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: I just want to say this.
- 1:31:46Speaker 7: God has a tendency of picking up nobody to become
- 1:31:50Speaker 7: a somebody in front of everybody without asking anybody such
- 1:31:55Speaker 7: a church say amen.
- 1:31:57Speaker 6: Those are my closing remarks. Hey, y'all talk to God.
