- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Okay, here we go today, folks.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Uh this is a good one because today I want
- 2:18Speaker 1: to share with you something that that affects every living soul,
- 2:25Speaker 1: and that one thing is your attitude. This affects everyone.
- 2:31Speaker 1: It is your attitude. You know. I don't know if
- 2:37Speaker 1: anyone's ever told you, but I mean many of you
- 2:40Speaker 1: who listen know this. But there are a lot of
- 2:43Speaker 1: people who don't understand a positive attitude can bring about
- 2:50Speaker 1: a change. A positive attitude can bring about a change. Well,
- 2:55Speaker 1: now here we go with the Nay says well, Steve,
- 2:57Speaker 1: what you mean if I'm just positive being chained? My
- 3:00Speaker 1: mama gonna what me being positive got to do with that? Okay,
- 3:04Speaker 1: Now listen to me carefully. A positive attitude can bring
- 3:08Speaker 1: about change. Well, okay, Steve, I hear you saying that,
- 3:12Speaker 1: But they didn't fired me. So now what does my
- 3:15Speaker 1: having a positive attitude have to do with the fact
- 3:17Speaker 1: that they fired me? Well, one more time. A positive
- 3:23Speaker 1: attitude can bring about change? Or Steve, I set up
- 3:29Speaker 1: in here and gave eight, nine, twelve years of my
- 3:33Speaker 1: life to this man and he just he cheated on
- 3:36Speaker 1: me and walked out. Now what does me being positive
- 3:39Speaker 1: have to do with him cheating on me? How that's
- 3:42Speaker 1: gonna change that? Okay, here we go again. A positive
- 3:47Speaker 1: attitude can bring about change. Now listen to the whole thing. Now,
- 3:52Speaker 1: the positive attitude and the change that can happen starts
- 3:59Speaker 1: just to start. It starts within you. See, life is
- 4:07Speaker 1: tempera cent. What happens is what you do about what happens. Okay,
- 4:11Speaker 1: you gave twelve years of your life to this man.
- 4:14Speaker 1: He cheated and left you. Hold in the bag, the
- 4:16Speaker 1: kids and everything. Now, what does being positive have to
- 4:20Speaker 1: do with changing that or they came in and they
- 4:22Speaker 1: fired you. You lost your job that you was a
- 4:25Speaker 1: stellar performer at. But now, how does you having a
- 4:29Speaker 1: positive attitude, How does that change things for you? So far,
- 4:34Speaker 1: you can use any example. Here's what happens when you
- 4:38Speaker 1: have a positive attitude. What it produces within you is
- 4:43Speaker 1: a positive approach to life. And when you have a
- 4:46Speaker 1: positive attitude and a positive approach to life, it causes
- 4:51Speaker 1: you to be optimistic, to have a positive out look,
- 4:57Speaker 1: to expect things to eventually turn around, and and and
- 5:02Speaker 1: and turn into a positive That's very important because as
- 5:06Speaker 1: the law of attraction comes into play, if you think
- 5:10Speaker 1: positive thoughts, you attract positive things. If you think evil thoughts,
- 5:17Speaker 1: you attract evil to you. You know, if if you
- 5:21Speaker 1: want for nothing, then nothing comes your way. If you
- 5:25Speaker 1: want for positive attitude, if you want for positive results,
- 5:28Speaker 1: if you want for a great outcome, that's what you
- 5:30Speaker 1: attract to you. The change will begin within you. So
- 5:34Speaker 1: let's take the man that walked out your life and
- 5:37Speaker 1: left you hold in the bag. Here's a positive attitude. Okay,
- 5:42Speaker 1: two things have happened as positive here. Number one, you've
- 5:46Speaker 1: ridd it yourself of someone who was obviously going to be,
- 5:50Speaker 1: if not already been, toxic in your life because you
- 5:54Speaker 1: many restless nights, a lot of uncomfortable feelings, an uneasiness,
- 5:59Speaker 1: not shore or insecurity, you've been going through it with
- 6:02Speaker 1: this person, whoever they are. Number One, that person has
- 6:06Speaker 1: been released from your life. Number Two, It allows you
- 6:10Speaker 1: now to have the someone who will treat you just
- 6:14Speaker 1: the way you want to be treated. That's the positive outlook,
- 6:17Speaker 1: that's the optimistic way. That's when you're a positive person.
- 6:21Speaker 1: You see the positive in things that happened to you
- 6:24Speaker 1: instead of burying yourself under the horse, wrong with it,
- 6:27Speaker 1: old woe is me? Now, concept see a positive attitude.
- 6:32Speaker 1: When they came in there and they fired you and
- 6:34Speaker 1: let you go. Could this not have been just the
- 6:38Speaker 1: opening you needed to finally start on a new career
- 6:42Speaker 1: path that you've been talking about doing anyway? Could it
- 6:45Speaker 1: possibly be a brand new chance for you to get
- 6:49Speaker 1: the dream job or dream career of your choice. Could
- 6:53Speaker 1: it not possibly be the perfect opportunity now for you
- 6:57Speaker 1: to finally finally do something about that gift, about that
- 7:03Speaker 1: talent that God gave you, that thing that you love
- 7:05Speaker 1: to do. Could it not be the perfect time for
- 7:08Speaker 1: you to pursue that. But if you don't have a
- 7:10Speaker 1: positive attitude, then you lay there all they're finn Come
- 7:14Speaker 1: get in my house. Oh what I'm gonna do now?
- 7:18Speaker 1: All this unemployment ain't enough? Oh Lord, when it's unemployment
- 7:22Speaker 1: run out? What am I gonna do? Then I won't
- 7:24Speaker 1: have nothing? And you old woe is me until you
- 7:27Speaker 1: become old woe is me. But if you take it
- 7:31Speaker 1: from the positive approach, some amazing things can happen in
- 7:35Speaker 1: your life. I will tell you on a personal note,
- 7:38Speaker 1: that's some of the most some of the best changes,
- 7:42Speaker 1: Some of the biggest moments in my life came after
- 7:45Speaker 1: a loss. Some of the best things that's ever happened
- 7:48Speaker 1: to me. Some of the biggest moments that I've accomplished
- 7:50Speaker 1: in my entire career came after a loss. So I
- 7:55Speaker 1: don't want to go down on the list, But boy,
- 7:57Speaker 1: I could tell you. Let me let me tell you something.
- 7:59Speaker 1: When they didn't want me on the radio anymore in
- 8:02Speaker 1: l A. W. They didn't when they were it was
- 8:04Speaker 1: sick of the way I did radio out there, and
- 8:06Speaker 1: they wanted me gone. And on May two thousand and five,
- 8:13Speaker 1: when my did When When when when my deal was
- 8:16Speaker 1: done with the beat out in l A. Okay, look
- 8:23Speaker 1: what happened though, y'all was gone in May. But in
- 8:26Speaker 1: September nineteenth I started to Steve Harvey Radio Network with
- 8:30Speaker 1: four cities. I'm now sixty some cities, you see. But
- 8:35Speaker 1: I didn't go old. Woe was me? I said, Okay,
- 8:40Speaker 1: God must have something else from me then, because if
- 8:43Speaker 1: he didn't remove me from this, that must be something else.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Same thing that happened when you lose and you and
- 8:48Speaker 1: you and you break up in a relationship, same thing
- 8:51Speaker 1: can happen to you. You never know the one God
- 8:53Speaker 1: God for you. Now here you go, here you go again.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Now you get put into a situation with somebody treat
- 8:59Speaker 1: you just the way you want to be treated, provide
- 9:01Speaker 1: you with a whole lot of aspects of your life.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You knew nothing about pride to that. But you gotta
- 9:05Speaker 1: stay positive. You gotta keep looking out, You gotta keep
- 9:09Speaker 1: looking to God. You gotta keep believing that there's gotta
- 9:12Speaker 1: be something better for you. That God has a plan
- 9:15Speaker 1: and it don't coincide with your plan oftentimes, but His
- 9:19Speaker 1: way is the best way. Oh. I have not liked
- 9:22Speaker 1: it many times. Man oh, man, I've had people scathed me.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I'm talking about man, people. I ain't done nothing too.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I don't even know where it's coming from. Just go
- 9:31Speaker 1: public and just try to bury me when they got through. Man,
- 9:36Speaker 1: I can't tell you what happened to me because I
- 9:38Speaker 1: ain't raised my voice back. I didn't. I didn't get
- 9:41Speaker 1: into that negative lane with them. I took the high road.
- 9:44Speaker 1: And when you take the high road, God got something
- 9:46Speaker 1: for you. So all of you out there is struggling,
- 9:49Speaker 1: that's being hated on, that you feel like your life
- 9:51Speaker 1: and took some turns that you have no control over.
- 9:54Speaker 1: If you stay positive, that positive attitude, that optimistic outlook,
- 9:59Speaker 1: that that that always thinking, God got me, no matter
- 10:03Speaker 1: what happened to me, some amazing things that's going can
- 10:07Speaker 1: will happen in your life. It's a fact. I don't
- 10:09Speaker 1: know how it works that way. I just know that's
- 10:12Speaker 1: what it is. Positive attitude is everything, y'all. So get
- 10:15Speaker 1: off the old woe is mean negativity train because it
- 10:18Speaker 1: ain't gonna take you nowhere but down and get get
- 10:21Speaker 1: your outlook up. If you change your attitude, you change
- 10:24Speaker 1: your altitude. Altitude is determined by your attitude. How high
- 10:30Speaker 1: you go, how big you become, how far you go.
- 10:33Speaker 1: It all depends on how you think. It all depends
- 10:36Speaker 1: on what type of attitude you got. Ain't no, ain't
- 10:40Speaker 1: no very very successful, super negative people. It just doesn't
- 10:45Speaker 1: coincide the way if you see that something happened to
- 10:47Speaker 1: him along the way, and don't worry. You ain't gonna
- 10:49Speaker 1: worry about it because you ain't gonna see them long
- 10:51Speaker 1: because you can't stay up there like that. This is
- 10:54Speaker 1: too hard, all right, that's the conversation you're listening to

- 18:03Speaker 1: came out in the NFL draft, the one that they
- 18:07Speaker 1: banned from baseball. We was going to the Cowboys played
- 18:10Speaker 1: for Missouri. Dak Prescott boy played for Missouri. That Mississippi state.
- 18:16Speaker 1: You need to know your football, you know, if you're
- 18:17Speaker 1: gonna come up in this shot with the list, you
- 18:19Speaker 1: can't have a list and be stupids and proceed. So
- 18:24Speaker 1: I'm talking about remember that dude that came out football
- 18:30Speaker 1: and they sort of banned him, you know they they
- 18:32Speaker 1: said they didn't. So here's the question. Will there ever
- 18:35Speaker 1: be a center playing basketballball? Basketball? I said basketball? Probably
- 18:44Speaker 1: said anything about football, and I knowed your shot. But
- 18:47Speaker 1: you're gonna watch how you're talking to it, though, kay,

- 19:34Speaker 1: you something. Man, Yeah, how come Micky Mouse got on
- 19:38Speaker 1: pass but Donald duck don't anything about? That's just nay jaging.

- 22:59Speaker 1: She did Beyonce Crazy and love Thing. But anyway, Leslie
- 23:06Speaker 1: said in a statement that b ET was the first
- 23:09Speaker 1: network in place where I was on TV. I am
- 23:11Speaker 1: looking forward to uh turning this whole experience into a

- 23:55Speaker 1: tell us. I never know that you're nervous. With Jake,
- 24:00Speaker 1: you know, that's a whole different experience. Tommy nervous was different.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Tommy used to drink. Well, that does calm your nerves,
- 24:08Speaker 1: doesn't it. We just did your show and I was
- 24:13Speaker 1: so nervous then, I mean you saw it? Oh yeah, yeah,
- 24:19Speaker 1: but I was nervous, man, Yeah, yeah, my nerves we're
- 24:23Speaker 1: not there and took over more applause than any That

- 24:55Speaker 1: Anthony Anthony Brown, three names Anthony Brown kind of like
- 24:59Speaker 1: s Rick V entertainer. Yeah, so it j Anthony the
- 25:04Speaker 1: Brown J Anthony Brown. Is it a reference to your
- 25:07Speaker 1: color at all? Is that what we're doing here? Brown?
- 25:11Speaker 1: J Anthony Brown? Yeah, like you know, we don't do that.
- 25:14Speaker 1: There will be no like j Anthony White. You know
- 25:17Speaker 1: it's it's not gonna happen. Tommy, How you doing it right? Good?
- 25:23Speaker 1: I mean, you know, he doesn't want to be called tom.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I was just trying to shorten it up. You don't,
- 25:27Speaker 1: you know, you know, just give us a little connectivity here.
- 25:30Speaker 1: That's why I call people, you know, a shorteny name.
- 25:31Speaker 1: You know, like you guys do you guys give each
- 25:33Speaker 1: other's nicknames. I was just gonna call him tom, but god,
- 25:37Speaker 1: he got offended. Well, yeah, that's not his name. Her
- 25:41Speaker 1: name is Thomas all Tom. Well, it can't be both
- 25:44Speaker 1: now if your name is Thomas, didn't it isn't Tommy.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Somebody threw that in. Well, my mom has been calling
- 25:50Speaker 1: me Tommy from day one, but he ain't. Don't wanta
- 25:52Speaker 1: get into that. Sorry, off limits for me. Cash you
- 25:56Speaker 1: guys a question about BT, Yes, of course, Yeah. Why
- 26:01Speaker 1: do you do it? Why it it's a celebration of
- 26:09Speaker 1: you know, entertainment and sports and things like that. It's
- 26:13Speaker 1: a celebration of the best guys, I mean facing, I mean,
- 26:16Speaker 1: we don't have wet TV, we don't have white entertainment television.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I mean, you don't call it that Fox Network. Yeah,
- 26:25Speaker 1: you don't all that. So you guys are just gonna
- 26:30Speaker 1: play a little get back. Is that we got one,
- 26:35Speaker 1: maybe two stations? This is no magic Johnson got Inspire, Yeah,
- 26:41Speaker 1: got bet, you got TV one Hello Yeah? Centric Yeah, Centric,
- 26:52Speaker 1: huh bounce. That's a lot, guys. It's not how to
- 26:59Speaker 1: channel though. Yeah, but for so many years, Ralph, we
- 27:01Speaker 1: were excluded from mainstream, mainstream TV. So we created our
- 27:06Speaker 1: own you know, Hello, Yeah, that's what. That's what we
- 27:12Speaker 1: want to turn on the TV and see people that
- 27:13Speaker 1: look like you. Yeah, and why we gotta give you
- 27:18Speaker 1: a black history lesson on stuf? Why we gotta do Hey, guys, guys,
- 27:21Speaker 1: come on, how it's called communication. I'm trying to understand.
- 27:25Speaker 1: I'm not knocking it. I just wanted to understand a
- 27:28Speaker 1: lot of my friends don't know why what sounds like
- 27:30Speaker 1: you were knocking it a little bit? Yeah, I mean,
- 27:35Speaker 1: I mean why what the question was? Why you told
- 27:37Speaker 1: me why? I got kinda get it, you know, I
- 27:39Speaker 1: mean I kind of get you know, guys were piste
- 27:41Speaker 1: about friends, so I understood, you know, well, come on
- 27:45Speaker 1: in the whole city of New York, not a one,
- 27:50Speaker 1: not one like that at all. I said, Oh my god,
- 27:57Speaker 1: this is blatant racism to me, a white guy. I
- 28:03Speaker 1: thought it was awful. I mean, you know, he had
- 28:06Speaker 1: that show different strokes back in the day. I was
- 28:09Speaker 1: going like, wow, yeah, what a great thing. I mean,
- 28:13Speaker 1: a white guy just saves these two black kids. I
- 28:15Speaker 1: thought that was great. You didn't get Yeah, we loved it, okay, Green,
- 28:22Speaker 1: I mean it's like me. It's like me coming on
- 28:25Speaker 1: saving this show. It's the same thing. I just came
- 28:28Speaker 1: on the roof. What you say, I've never been on here,
- 28:38Speaker 1: and you guys didn't want me. I'm just assuming I'm
- 28:41Speaker 1: gonna welcome edition. But I'm looking at the ruddings and
- 28:45Speaker 1: I'm going, hey, must be me. You never give us
- 28:47Speaker 1: any warning or any advance. Yeah, yeah, you just pop up. Hey,
- 28:54Speaker 1: that's what they call a blessing, just pops up. And
- 29:01Speaker 1: in the words of you people yourself, won't do it.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Won't he do it? Hey? Hey? Hey, hey, one more time, bro,
- 29:13Speaker 1: won't he do it? Won't he do it? Hey? Hey?
- 29:20Speaker 1: And I hey, and hey, guys, it's called blessings. What
- 29:26Speaker 1: pops up? That pops up? I wanted to see if
- 29:29Speaker 1: Ralph wanted to go to the BT Awards, But you
- 29:31Speaker 1: know you're firing off people. I don't even want to
- 29:38Speaker 1: kick it. Would you like to want to go where
- 29:41Speaker 1: you guys invite me? But you guys never invite me.
- 29:45Speaker 1: You don't want me there the lea Thomas giving you side?
- 29:51Speaker 1: I row here, you're going there, You're gonna you know,
- 29:53Speaker 1: the anger Jesus, what are you saying about the anger
- 30:00Speaker 1: or level? God? You guys are quick with that. You guys,
- 30:04Speaker 1: it's just just go. It's from high time to asswhipping. Now,
- 30:07Speaker 1: he's just like that. Yeah, we operate, tom Yeah, we're good.
- 30:12Speaker 1: On the clap back we are clap yeah yeah, what
- 30:17Speaker 1: is that new ebonics? I don't can't get that one
- 30:20Speaker 1: clap back? He needs a good at Thomas hold on time. Well, Hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 30:32Speaker 1: hey Tommy, you know you keep swinging and I gotta
- 30:33Speaker 1: swing back. And you mustn't know a lot about an swhippies.
- 30:36Speaker 1: You know, you guys took a lot of them from you.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I had to do it because because Thomas was swinging
- 30:48Speaker 1: at me guys. Sorry, miss and is coming up with
- 30:52Speaker 1: our national news. Ralph, you're listening Steve Morning Show, all right,
- 30:59Speaker 1: missing in a standing by with today's news. But first, Steve,
- 31:02Speaker 1: it's summertime almost okay. Women, of course can wear open
- 31:06Speaker 1: toad shoes. They can wear sandals, no problem. Most guys,
- 31:11Speaker 1: on the other hand, with their hairy, crazy looking toes.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Shit okay, shot comes to mind there for some reason.
- 31:20Speaker 1: So what's your take on men wearing flip flops? Um? Never?
- 31:24Speaker 1: Should they never wear them? Should always company. If you
- 31:29Speaker 1: got nice feet, yeah, yeah, I don't mind if you
- 31:31Speaker 1: have nice feet. I can't can't wear one ses, Tommy.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Do you wear sandals? Yeah? Sometimes, because you don't. You
- 31:42Speaker 1: don't really have nice where'd you get that from? S
- 31:49Speaker 1: put shoes on a lot of times? I'm not toping
- 31:54Speaker 1: at all, nothing, okay, tom I'll just remember your feet
- 32:01Speaker 1: here be beating baby toes like baby toes. All his toes,
- 32:07Speaker 1: all his toes looked like corn. I love little baby
- 32:10Speaker 1: food feet are so beautiful. Yeah what Tommy, Tommy got
- 32:14Speaker 1: them feet, But they aren't grown as man. Look like
- 32:18Speaker 1: a mutation. It looks like stunt it grow. He ain't
- 32:23Speaker 1: got no toes. He just got toe nails like stunt grow. Yeah,
- 32:28Speaker 1: just just got a fist and it's got some toenails
- 32:31Speaker 1: on the knuckles like that ring feet or shut up, junior,
- 32:41Speaker 1: Sorry Jay, you didn't want to join them. No, my foot,
- 32:44Speaker 1: my foot is. This is the foot that when you
- 32:46Speaker 1: pull us out, when you get the petticilling, there's a
- 32:50Speaker 1: lot of talking. They go in and looking fool I
- 32:55Speaker 1: ain't to black. What's that way to just fileing down?
- 33:00Speaker 1: Don't worry about what color it is? Why you ain't
- 33:03Speaker 1: gotta have all that talking, No eat whatever, file it
- 33:08Speaker 1: like the other one. Do you have your toes? I
- 33:13Speaker 1: have them all, but some of the coloration is a
- 33:16Speaker 1: little different one. So I can't wear the open toes
- 33:20Speaker 1: shoes you want to make your daddies ain't took two
- 33:24Speaker 1: or three toes floppy, sliding on and on, turning the
- 33:36Speaker 1: air up in here, turn on high. So now when
- 33:49Speaker 1: you guys get pedicurius, do you get polished? Some people
- 33:52Speaker 1: get some guys get clear polish. You should never never
- 33:57Speaker 1: guys with like black polish on their toes. If you
- 34:02Speaker 1: get black polish, you into a whole different lifestyle. We're
- 34:06Speaker 1: not judging for just just the lifestyle. For instance, I've
- 34:10Speaker 1: seen in magazine Seal, the singer Seal. I've seen him
- 34:13Speaker 1: with black polish on Seal. What neutral color, but I
- 34:28Speaker 1: have seen that. I'm just saying it's actually clear. But
- 34:31Speaker 1: once it hits that toe, it sucks it up to
- 34:34Speaker 1: the dark part of his foot. The black wearing socks
- 34:46Speaker 1: and sandals, leaving calls from a distan didn't look like
- 34:49Speaker 1: he just got on socks a shoe. Alright, See time
- 34:56Speaker 1: to get serious. Let's go to missing ladies and gentlemen,
- 34:59Speaker 1: miss and trip. Thank you very much, everybody, and good good,
- 35:04Speaker 1: good morning. This is a trip with the news. Okay,
- 35:06Speaker 1: listen up, everybody. Police say that Tiger Woods did not
- 35:10Speaker 1: have any alcohol in his system when he was arrested
- 35:12Speaker 1: Sunday morning after filling sobriety tests. He didn't. Police said
- 35:16Speaker 1: he found Tiger asleep at the wheel of his car
- 35:18Speaker 1: on the side of the road near his home in Jupiter, Florida.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Was some damage to the vehicle and two flat tires.
- 35:24Speaker 1: The reports that says the police report says they had
- 35:26Speaker 1: to wake him up and that the world famous golfer
- 35:28Speaker 1: speech was kind of slurred. He told officers. He didn't
- 35:30Speaker 1: know where he was. At one point he said he
- 35:32Speaker 1: thought he was in California. He wasn't sure where he
- 35:34Speaker 1: was headed now. Woods has recently undergone a series of
- 35:37Speaker 1: back surgeries. Everybody and you've heard about those. He's told cops.
- 35:40Speaker 1: He's been on several medications, including Vikadan, which is a
- 35:43Speaker 1: very very powerful painkiller, and Tigers apologizing to how it
- 35:47Speaker 1: all may look to his family and friends and fans. Again,
- 35:49Speaker 1: cops say Tiger had no alcohol in his system. He
- 35:52Speaker 1: was arrested, though, and released and is to be arraigned
- 35:55Speaker 1: in July five on charges of driving under the influence
- 35:57Speaker 1: because he was out of sorts, no doubt from the medication.
- 36:00Speaker 1: The Cleveland cop who fatally shot Tamir Rice, the twelve
- 36:03Speaker 1: year old black child who was merely playing in the
- 36:05Speaker 1: park with a toy gun, that guy has been fired finally, however,
- 36:09Speaker 1: not for that after over two year internal investigation. The
- 36:13Speaker 1: city of Cleveland firing Timothy Lohman for inaccurate details on
- 36:16Speaker 1: his job application. Loman's partner, Frank Garenback has been suspended
- 36:20Speaker 1: for ten days. That is in connection with Tamir's killing.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Investigators say going Back violated a tactical rule in the
- 36:25Speaker 1: way he approached the innocent youngster. He again suspended for
- 36:29Speaker 1: ten days. Jury selection has begun the retrial of a
- 36:33Speaker 1: white now former University of Cincinnati police officer accused of
- 36:36Speaker 1: the twenty fifteen fatal shooting of a black motorist. Ray
- 36:39Speaker 1: Tensing is accused of murder and involatary mansload for shooting
- 36:42Speaker 1: and killing Sam du Bois doing an off campus traffic
- 36:45Speaker 1: stop for a missing front license plate. Tense's first trial
- 36:49Speaker 1: ended in a hung jury, even so, the judges turning
- 36:51Speaker 1: down prosecutor's request for a change of venue and also
- 36:54Speaker 1: refusing to allow the jury to see the Confederate flag
- 36:57Speaker 1: undershirt that Tensing was wearing that day. Get This. Housing
- 37:02Speaker 1: Secretary Dr Ben Carson claims that poverty is only a
- 37:05Speaker 1: state of mind. During a recent interview with fellow Republican
- 37:08Speaker 1: Armstrong Williams in Serious XAM, the former neurosurgeon who grew
- 37:11Speaker 1: up poor in Detroit, says a quote, if you take
- 37:13Speaker 1: somebody with the wrong mindset, you can give them everything
- 37:15Speaker 1: in the world and they'll work their way back to
- 37:17Speaker 1: the bottom unquote. Carson says parents shouldn't still on their
- 37:20Speaker 1: children the mindset of a winner. Well, that part I
- 37:22Speaker 1: think we all agree. Today National Museum Day, Nationalistparagus Day,
- 37:27Speaker 1: National Neckaloon Day, and National Brother's Day. As Dan tripled
- 37:36Speaker 1: me back with Eugene the Butterfly and twenty minutes after
- 37:38Speaker 1: the hour, stay tuned to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:41Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. As always,
- 37:45Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, here he is. Good morning everyone, Stephen,
- 37:50Speaker 1: Timmy Shirley College junior Anthony Brown. Um that morning, Um. Yesterday,
- 38:01Speaker 1: it was supposed to be a conference call. You know,
- 38:04Speaker 1: there was gonna be a consultation for me and Steve
- 38:07Speaker 1: Harvey because we're supposed to be doing a Yanna fix
- 38:10Speaker 1: of my life. Now you were not on the call yesterday,
- 38:14Speaker 1: and that is going to create a problem with us,
- 38:16Speaker 1: and we are the odd company. We're gonna If she's
- 38:17Speaker 1: gonna fix our life, she's gonna have to hear the
- 38:19Speaker 1: things that we want to put on the table. And
- 38:21Speaker 1: you're gonna have to get on the call. And I
- 38:23Speaker 1: know you're busy and you have jobs and things to
- 38:25Speaker 1: like that, but I need you to get on the
- 38:28Speaker 1: call so we can do what we're gonna do. We
- 38:30Speaker 1: are you. You need to hug your brother and you
- 38:35Speaker 1: need to go over there and get involved with this
- 38:38Speaker 1: at this relationship. It's to work. You need to go
- 38:41Speaker 1: there and hug your brother. That's and that's the way
- 38:45Speaker 1: we're working on. They want to know all the things
- 38:47Speaker 1: that we have that we we disagree with one of them.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Thank you. I'm sorry. You just got Stephen. We have
- 38:57Speaker 1: thirty years our day. She's gonna come up with a
- 38:59Speaker 1: family for you and she's going to break. She's gonna
- 39:04Speaker 1: fix our life. So good. Yeah, you need to be
- 39:08Speaker 1: on hell yeah, come on, try to get through the gate.
- 39:12Speaker 1: But anyway, she got Steve. We have to be on
- 39:15Speaker 1: the conference call. They have to learn what it is
- 39:17Speaker 1: about us. So it's fixing, Yes, it's prepping and in
- 39:20Speaker 1: order for us to do um what we're gonna do
- 39:22Speaker 1: on Thursday, we have to be growth. Yeah. Grow, Yeah,
- 39:27Speaker 1: I love growth. You've got to hug your brother. Your
- 39:30Speaker 1: brother isn't and you need to go over there and
- 39:33Speaker 1: hug him. Important. See how he follow what he's saying
- 39:38Speaker 1: right there. Now, open your arms, re open your right
- 39:42Speaker 1: and be ready to embrace me. Minutes of hugging. You're
- 39:52Speaker 1: gonna hug me Thursday, we'll see. I mean there is tension.
- 39:55Speaker 1: There is a lot of you know, sort of animosity
- 39:58Speaker 1: between you two. Maybe I really not. I don't think
- 40:01Speaker 1: it's really animosity. Shirley, Well, there's something going on. Well,
- 40:04Speaker 1: I don't tell you what is. We ain't got to
- 40:06Speaker 1: go to don't I don't Afore somebody just asked me
- 40:10Speaker 1: I don't like him. It ain't nobody about to make
- 40:18Speaker 1: me like him? What if he done to you? Though?
- 40:21Speaker 1: I think he's whiny. I think he's just respectful. I
- 40:25Speaker 1: think it's an element of arrogance. I think he's ungrateful
- 40:30Speaker 1: that Tommy has given him the life that he has,
- 40:33Speaker 1: and he disrespects Tommy. And without Tommy he doesn't exist.
- 40:37Speaker 1: He thinks he's better than all the other characters. He's
- 40:40Speaker 1: always wanting to be number one, and he doesn't know
- 40:43Speaker 1: how to share. Now, what is it for me to
- 40:45Speaker 1: like about him? That can come out in therapy? Steve,
- 40:49Speaker 1: there's out now. I just told you what's wrong. Don't
- 40:57Speaker 1: get mad though you're yelling him too. Why are we
- 41:02Speaker 1: still talking and you Londer ain't coming here? Said, let
- 41:07Speaker 1: me your brother say it, say it me, me, me, me,
- 41:16Speaker 1: that's your problem hood out, h brother, come out if
- 41:25Speaker 1: you have any bron is gonna murder another hit at
- 41:27Speaker 1: thirty four after the hours you're listening, Steve har y'all,
- 41:32Speaker 1: we back this time for our newest member to come
- 41:36Speaker 1: on and shine. It's called murder the hits or what
- 41:40Speaker 1: is it? What is it about? What we're doing it too?
- 41:43Speaker 1: And who are we doing it for? Oh my god,
- 41:45Speaker 1: this is such a good one. This might be another
- 41:47Speaker 1: one of your friends that you have lost again. Yeah
- 41:52Speaker 1: the list? Could you read the list just so we
- 41:54Speaker 1: could catch up. It starts with Sea Long Okay, Yeah,
- 41:57Speaker 1: and it it doesn't that's at all. It goes from Celo.
- 42:01Speaker 1: These are the celebrities who hate us now probably never
- 42:04Speaker 1: come back in Celo, John Legend, The Weekend, Janet Jackson,
- 42:14Speaker 1: Kirk Franklin, and Jermaine Jermaine Jackson. That's to Jackson. Yes,
- 42:23Speaker 1: let's add another one to the list. And I'm not
- 42:27Speaker 1: a Jackson. I'm sure you're friends with. His name is Tyrese.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Excellent singers singing, well a couple of them. Maybe a
- 42:36Speaker 1: couple of years ago he had a song called Shane Yea.
- 42:41Speaker 1: The song was about, you know, expressing how he was
- 42:44Speaker 1: a shane of everything he did well. I kind of
- 42:47Speaker 1: twisted that around. It's the holiday's Memorial Day, people eating
- 42:50Speaker 1: barbecu with all their white um. So my song is
- 42:54Speaker 1: called stain Shane same put him on. Lets check it
- 43:02Speaker 1: out on the steve. It's an old white shindy in
- 43:20Speaker 1: my cleanest suit, from my head to toe, snow white,
- 43:26Speaker 1: baby white. You spanking new like bad to see I land,
- 43:36Speaker 1: Mr Roke and tattoo can tell me nothing. Wait, they're
- 43:45Speaker 1: serving by back. Got a rip to protraction action, just
- 43:53Speaker 1: one piece I can have made me a bit from
- 43:59Speaker 1: napkin in up eating a snab, washed it down with
- 44:07Speaker 1: fruit juice, looking down up confused. How I got mo
- 44:15Speaker 1: ful sauce all over my side? Now I got stags
- 44:24Speaker 1: on me ebkill and brown sad web and wolf up clean.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I'm afraid it's time to come. I got my Micuel

- 45:55Speaker 1: also doing a fundraiser for you know, any college fund,
- 45:58Speaker 1: so she's at the club too. I'm gonna go see yeah, yeah,
- 46:02Speaker 1: So put him on the list. Tiras is on the list,
- 46:04Speaker 1: and uh, Bruno mars at him for Friday because we
- 46:07Speaker 1: will take care of that again. Oh, your next murder
- 46:10Speaker 1: the head. That's what I like. Well after Friday, all right,
- 46:18Speaker 1: the brank phone call is coming up next with the
- 46:20Speaker 1: nephew What you got Now, we'll see right after the song.
- 46:24Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 46:29Speaker 1: the top of the our right about four minutes after
- 46:31Speaker 1: the hour. Get ready for today's strawberry and letter. But
- 46:35Speaker 1: up next, come on food, what you got? You're not graduate?
- 46:39Speaker 1: You're not graduate? No heartbreaker right there, for it's talking
- 46:47Speaker 1: to something you're not graduating. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 46:54Speaker 1: reach a trava place. Uh this humble of this. This
- 46:59Speaker 1: is my name is Joseph the work open student Affairs.
- 47:02Speaker 1: How you doing today? I'm good? How are you? I'm good?
- 47:05Speaker 1: Listen you're supposed to be UM. This is your fifth
- 47:10Speaker 1: year here at the university. You're graduating and UM in
- 47:13Speaker 1: the next seven eight days. Am I right? And yes
- 47:16Speaker 1: there joint. Okay, listen, I'm giving you a call. We
- 47:21Speaker 1: got a bit of a problem here that we want
- 47:23Speaker 1: to try and discuss with you, and maybe we can
- 47:26Speaker 1: get you over at student Affairs and come in and
- 47:27Speaker 1: have a meeting with us. But we wanted to bring
- 47:29Speaker 1: it to your attention. Now, you took a one of
- 47:33Speaker 1: your last subjects was English, uh, and you had an
- 47:36Speaker 1: English exam with a You guys are writing an essay.
- 47:40Speaker 1: M I R m ir, Am I correct about that? Yeah? Yeah,
- 47:44Speaker 1: that's okay. Let's see that we got some problems here
- 47:47Speaker 1: that the professor there is actually a simulating that you
- 47:50Speaker 1: may have cheated on this on this essay that you've
- 47:53Speaker 1: actually written. Now, I mean from what from what he's
- 47:59Speaker 1: telling us here at student Affairs, is that you may
- 48:02Speaker 1: have plagiarized some things uh that uh that we're in
- 48:06Speaker 1: your essay. Dude, No, I didn't. I didn't plagiarize nothing
- 48:09Speaker 1: that was in the essay. Everything is documented like it
- 48:11Speaker 1: should be, So I don't know what you're talking about
- 48:13Speaker 1: essentially cheating on no exam or no paper nothing like that.
- 48:16Speaker 1: You must got me mixed up with somebody else. No, no, no,
- 48:18Speaker 1: not at all. You're actually Mr Travan, correct. I mean
- 48:21Speaker 1: that's me, But I didn't cheat on no exam for
- 48:24Speaker 1: that matter. Okay, well, let me let me try to
- 48:27Speaker 1: bring you up to speed here at Travan. What we're
- 48:28Speaker 1: gonna need is, we're gonna need you to actually come
- 48:30Speaker 1: in and talk to us over here at student affairs
- 48:33Speaker 1: so we can try to get this thing rectified. But
- 48:36Speaker 1: I will let you know, it's gonna take a few
- 48:38Speaker 1: more days longer than graduation. So as of right now,
- 48:42Speaker 1: you're actually not gonna be walking uh and graduating with
- 48:46Speaker 1: the rest of the students. Man, man, you got me
- 48:49Speaker 1: messed up. What's what do you mean? I'm not gonna
- 48:51Speaker 1: be walking well until we get this situation rectified here.
- 48:55Speaker 1: You're not gonna be graduating with the rest of the
- 48:57Speaker 1: students now. Dot. I don't know what I how to do,
- 49:00Speaker 1: but you'll need to figure it out and find out
- 49:01Speaker 1: what the problem. I mean. I ain't cheating on no
- 49:03Speaker 1: exam there you're talking about due My family is coming
- 49:06Speaker 1: down here and you're talking about cheating on an English exam.
- 49:08Speaker 1: There I look like cheating on an example. And I'm
- 49:10Speaker 1: getting ready to graduate. Man, now, y'all need to fix it,
- 49:13Speaker 1: like right now, like today while we're on the phone.
- 49:15Speaker 1: We can't do that. It's a little it's a sensitive
- 49:17Speaker 1: subject and like I said, it seems like it's plagiarism.
- 49:20Speaker 1: You know, if we can get you to actually come
- 49:22Speaker 1: over the student affairs next Wednesday, man, you've got me?
- 49:26Speaker 1: What you mean next Wednesday? Due? I'm graduating in a
- 49:29Speaker 1: few days and you saw my next Wednesday. Men, why
- 49:32Speaker 1: don't my professor didn't give me a call? Why are
- 49:34Speaker 1: you calling me sir? This is not something that professors
- 49:37Speaker 1: actually take care of. This is a student affair situation now,
- 49:41Speaker 1: and it's a very sensitive situation. And what we want
- 49:43Speaker 1: to do is try to get this thing taken care of.
- 49:45Speaker 1: And if you if what you're saying is actually true,
- 49:48Speaker 1: then you'll probably graduating. So you got me. I'm telling
- 49:53Speaker 1: you writing that this is you got me. I'm just
- 49:57Speaker 1: I'm graduating. This to me here too long to go
- 50:00Speaker 1: through some my last few weeks of school, and you
- 50:03Speaker 1: talk about August. I ain't even tiding here right here,
- 50:07Speaker 1: same man. You didn't even time to hear what you
- 50:09Speaker 1: got to say. Man, my family is coming down here
- 50:11Speaker 1: from everywhere to see me graduate. Now I'm the first
- 50:14Speaker 1: graduate from my family. You're talking about some talking about
- 50:17Speaker 1: my cheating on the paper, paper a paper? Can you
- 50:21Speaker 1: come here, man, I'm not gonna work two and three
- 50:23Speaker 1: because to see me to the school. And now I'm
- 50:26Speaker 1: coming getting rid of the graduate and you're talking about
- 50:28Speaker 1: how to wait until August a graduate. Man, Hell not,
- 50:31Speaker 1: I'm on my way to the office right now. And
- 50:33Speaker 1: you can tell whoever the profess is that I'm on
- 50:35Speaker 1: my way and he needs to be there too, Sir.
- 50:37Speaker 1: I can really tell you that we can try and
- 50:39Speaker 1: get just sing rectified and earlier the next wednes like, Man,
- 50:42Speaker 1: what's your name again? And where is where's your office? Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 50:48Speaker 1: So I'm about to get in my car right now
- 50:50Speaker 1: and I'm about to come over there, and we're gonna
- 50:51Speaker 1: handle it today. And I am how are you singing
- 50:53Speaker 1: to me cheating on the exam or paper? Man? Is
- 50:57Speaker 1: that is the professor? Man that there's a possibility of pagiarism?
- 51:02Speaker 1: Here are you kidding me? Do I've been in five. Yes,
- 51:07Speaker 1: I'm the start law to graduate from Colors. Man, my
- 51:10Speaker 1: grandma is eighty two. He is all that ship come
- 51:13Speaker 1: in and see me graduate. And you're telling me the
- 51:16Speaker 1: about seen of the paper, and I got away till
- 51:18Speaker 1: I'll get to graduate. Man, make you tell it, professor
- 51:22Speaker 1: to come to your office right now, because I'm already
- 51:24Speaker 1: in my car on my way to come to your officers.
- 51:26Speaker 1: And we're gonna handing this today. Said man, you got me.
- 51:30Speaker 1: I don't have any more room or my s to
- 51:32Speaker 1: actually pull anybody in today or you're gonna call me
- 51:36Speaker 1: with like this somebout you ain't got room in your casule.
- 51:39Speaker 1: San Hell now, miss miss whatever your name is. I'm

- 51:48Speaker 1: it's gonna be a problems. I ain't graduating in a
- 51:51Speaker 1: few days. You've got to deal with me. You got
- 51:53Speaker 1: to deal with my family and my mama. Where don't
- 51:55Speaker 1: play this? Then you got a hurt sir, I under
- 51:59Speaker 1: is there a possible maybe you plagiarized and didn't know
- 52:02Speaker 1: that you did that? You mean the paper was that
- 52:05Speaker 1: I had a new Sir, can I can, I can
- 52:07Speaker 1: I tell you one more thing and then and then
- 52:09Speaker 1: all that you can't tell you you're not ready to
- 52:11Speaker 1: call me with somebody. I can't graduate with my class
- 52:14Speaker 1: as I didn't been this for five years, and you're
- 52:18Speaker 1: telling me I can't graduate until August. You ain't got
- 52:21Speaker 1: to tell me. I do have one more thing I
- 52:23Speaker 1: need to tell you, and then I'll let you be
- 52:25Speaker 1: on your way. Okay, man, go here? Can I tell

- 56:04Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter. But first, breaking up isn't just hard
- 56:07Speaker 1: to do, It can really mess with your appetite too.
- 56:11Speaker 1: According to Dutch neurobiology professor named Gert Turr, horse heartbreak
- 56:17Speaker 1: causes quite a bit of stress and the body responds
- 56:21Speaker 1: the same way it does to other traumatic life event
- 56:23Speaker 1: by raising cortisol and adrenaline levels and heart rate, and
- 56:27Speaker 1: he says, because of that, it's almost impossible to get
- 56:31Speaker 1: food down your throat. That's why you can't eat when
- 56:34Speaker 1: you break up. So let me as your question, what Tommy,
- 56:40Speaker 1: what if? Man? I'm just this is a hypothetical course.
- 56:47Speaker 1: If you lost your wife, what would you do? Uh?
- 56:54Speaker 1: My wife? I got uh somebody else? I don't idiot
- 57:02Speaker 1: wrong yours by myself. It's hypothetical. He's answering the hypothetical answer.
- 57:17Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not supposed to be by myself. So
- 57:21Speaker 1: whenever anything comes out of his mouth, it's pretty much right,
- 57:26Speaker 1: and I agree with it. But it was stupid. Stupid
- 57:30Speaker 1: pays our bills a lot. We have done very well
- 57:33Speaker 1: with stupid. Everything that comes out. I am said thought
- 57:36Speaker 1: that anything the man said that was just straight stupid.
- 57:38Speaker 1: And if he does, I'm aware of and I let
- 57:40Speaker 1: him know. But so fun good, he's good. He's good
- 57:44Speaker 1: on it. He's got to get somebody. And that's a
- 57:47Speaker 1: hypothetical question. It's not gonna happen, you know. Yeah, So
- 57:52Speaker 1: that makes it okay to say it's tryingly not at
- 57:54Speaker 1: the house. It's gonna be a little rough. Yeah years ago,
- 58:02Speaker 1: I mean my first husband. Yeah, dude, you have another wife.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Don't come over here with that. Okay, Okay, I'm not
- 58:13Speaker 1: gonna do that. Don't even bring that over here. But
- 58:15Speaker 1: it was gonna have several end where several was going.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Don't bring it over here, y'all. Don't want me joining
- 58:24Speaker 1: y'all clue she and a new now so up, steve
- 58:36Speaker 1: something you can't play, just back keep playing? Let it go?
- 58:44Speaker 1: Is Janet Jackson one of these because she eating a
- 58:46Speaker 1: lot of this is talking about when you lose your
- 58:52Speaker 1: If I lost I lost my wife, I would be
- 58:57Speaker 1: in a misery. I would be in a pain that
- 59:00Speaker 1: would be undescribable for me. Indescribable. Uhuh, it would be
- 59:05Speaker 1: undescribable because ain't no in it. You can't indescribe anything.
- 59:11Speaker 1: It's undescribable. When you lost the first two, you made
- 59:16Speaker 1: it through. What you talking about? Okay? Did you turn
- 59:22Speaker 1: my mic off? I don't want to play these reindeer games,
- 59:30Speaker 1: wife like you don't know how to lose a wife.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Jesus help us. Lord, it's still on Strawberry letter. Alright,
- 59:47Speaker 1: buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for
- 59:49Speaker 1: you right, ignorant. I didn't you answer like you ain't
- 59:54Speaker 1: sitting that because my mic was off. Buckle up, hold
- 59:59Speaker 1: on time. Here it is strawberry, Let strawberry. Subject. It's
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: a little bit in the back of my throat, all right. Subject.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Children with a married man, Dear Morning Show. I am
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: writing this because I was messing with this married man
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: for years, and I was also married, but I am
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: recently divorced. Anyway, me and this married man had two
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: children on the side together, but we chose not to
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: tell anyone about it. But now my children are getting
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: older and they know who their father is because after
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: a while, I had no other choice but to tell them.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: My husband found out when they were babies, and we
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: worked it out. But now my children want to have
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: a relationship with this man and his family. I don't
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: know how to go about it. He took care of
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: them and came to see them once in a while
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: when they were growing up. But they only know one
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: man as their father. Should I let them choose for
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: them selves or tell them to leave that can of
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: worm closed by the way. When his wife found out,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: she divorced him, and he had three children of his
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: own already please help me to make the best choice
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: with my children. I think if you and your husband
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: work this out, you're a pretty blessed lady, because I
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: just don't know too many men who would have stood
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: by their wives during you know, this kind of mess.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: This was a mess you're married, messing around with a
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: married man. Uh, they would have left just like the
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: other man's wife did. But to answer your question, yes,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: I think since the children are older now and if
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: they want to see their biological father and his kids
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: their siblings, then let them a lot of it is
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: going to be curiosity on their part. Um, I say,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: just don't allow them to disrespect the man who raised them,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: your husband. Don't allow them to disrespect him in any way,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: because he raised them as their own and um, that's
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: who they really know as their father during that time. Steve. Uh,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: it's something missing in this letter. Yeah, because and I'm
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: gonna tell you where it is. Um. First of all,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: the both of you were married, you all start messing
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: around with each other, and okay you will also married.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Why you use messed with that? But I am recently divorced.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Episode that means the ladies divorce anyway, Me and this
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: man had two children on the side together, but we
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: chose not to tell anyone about it. Wait a minute,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Wait a minute. We chose not to tell anybody about it?
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: You mean you you mean he didn't want his wife
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: to know, and you didn't want your current your husband
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: to know. Is that? What's those the people that you
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: chose not to tell. But now your children are getting
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: older and they know who their father is because after
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: a while, I had no other choice but to tell them. Okay,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: wait a minute, I don't understand, very confused. How did
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: they started realizing that this other man was not their father?
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I mean it's missing some pieces, Yes, it's it's a
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: lot of pieces missing here. My husband found out when
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: they were babies, and we worked it out. Your husband
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: found out when when they were babies, and y'all worked
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: it out. So you you were married after you had
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: the kids by this married man. That's what I'm going
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I have news for you because I think I just
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: figured something out. We'll be back. I'll tell you what
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: it is. You're listening to, ladies, you're excited? Yeah, my god, lovely.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I love I love soul, and I love the moments.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Listen to me. October six, through the ninth. It is
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: going to be an exciting time and you know what,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: I'm excited about it though. It's an event where we
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: thought of to create where people can go and just
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: have a good time. Sand and Soul, I love that,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: all right, jans Andy Brown's Man in the Street is
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: coming up. But right now more foolishness from this crazy
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: ignorant show. Come on, Steve with your response to part
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: two of this letter. Let's do it now. Children. I
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: think see I'm writing this morning because I wasn't messing
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: with this married man for years, and I was also married,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: but I'm recently divorced. Anyway, me and this married man
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: had two children on the side together, but we chose
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: not to tell anyone about it. But now my children
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: are getting older, they know who their father is because
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: after a while, I had no other choice but to
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: tell him. My husband found out when they were babies,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: and we worked it out. But now my children want
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: to have a relationship with this man and his family.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: See this is there's a lot of information. Here's what
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: I think happened. I think that she was messing around
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: with this married man before she got married. That's what
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: I think she had the babies. Then she had to
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: tell her new husband who the babies really were. And
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: then he went along with and said that ain't no problem.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna raising him as mine. But then they got
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: a divorce. The children getting older now they want to
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: know who they real daddy is because the dude you
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: divorced ain't I don't know if he really acting like
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: their father anymore. Bla blase. So you had no choice
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: but to tell them the truth. That's the only thing
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: that I can get out of this that might make
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: a little bit of sense, because if you had the
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: babies by this man while you were still married to
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: this man, I don't think when you went in at
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: it told him that the babies wasn't here. I don't
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: really know how to just strawberry letter could have went
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: to smoothly. I really really don't. That's why I'm thinking, yeah,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: that that's something else. Not now the children want to
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: have relationship with this man and his family. You're talking
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: about the married man and his family. Well, y'all decided
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: y'all couldn't tell it. Nobody in the beginning. I think
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: at the beginning he chose not to tell it. You
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: went along with it. That's what I really think happened. Well,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: he's no longer married either. You know his wife Okay, yeah,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: well he took care of him and came to see
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: them once in a while when they were coming up.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: But they only know one man as their father. That
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: would be the guy that you married. Should I let
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: them choose for themselves or tell them to leave that
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: can of worms clothes? Excuse me? Once the child gets
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: a certain age, it ain't the choice of yours anymore.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: A child has the right to know who the father is.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Period is who they are. You can't be talking about
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: this a can of words because you tripped. Come on, lady,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: it's really you gotta let these kids know who their
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: dad is. Whatever this situation is, well you say, by
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: the way, when his wife found out, she divorced him
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: and they had three children on his own already. Please
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: help me to make the best choice with my children.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: The best choice with your children is to let your
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: children know who their real father is. Packing a lie
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: on top of a mistake ain't fin to fix nothing.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: You made a mistake, Okay, lady, people make mistakes. You're
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: not the worst person in the world. You know, God
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: is a forgiving God. That's that's what he has grace
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: and merciful for when we all make mistakes, as we
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: all will do. So, you've made a mistake. You was
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: with a married man. Okay, you did it. It's done.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Email us or Instagram thoughts on today's strawberry letter at
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: my girl? Surely? Uh it is always time. It's time
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: to switch gears. Now. I wanted to ask Steve and
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Ja this question. You guys, Okay, well, jay us, I
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: don't know of newlyweds have this big difference with their spouses.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: What is it? Here's the answer? Race or ethnicity? Okay,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: more than one in six people getting married these days
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: is an interracial is in an interracial relationship? And now, Steve,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I gotta ask you. I've known you for a while.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I think I know the answer to this, but I
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: may not. Have you ever been in an interracial relationship?
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: I cain't, cause black women will kill you my entire career,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: got that right? Oh no, you don't up there, and
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: now your little punk as got some money. Now we
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: ain't good enough for you no more? Uh No, I
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: can't y'all kill my whole career. Like what say? It's Steve. Yeah,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: so that you're answering. Yeah, you know, Tommy, I built
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: a career on B E T. That's like when O J.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Simps when Gordon was interviewing O J. Simpson on a
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: commercial break, o J leaned over there going and said
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: he they was doing it at BT said, you mean
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: to tell me it ain't no white girls up here,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: b et les sEH, it's it no we damn that
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: snatch at Mico. Yeah. Yeah, that's that's the problem. When
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: you put other races, you think other races are better
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: than your that's a problem. That's the problem. Okay. I
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: wanted to go to Tommy first and then we're coming
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: to you, James. Tom interracial relationship. I'm great with race
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: relations I think it's a good thing to move around.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: And Junior, who my mama said, if she can't use
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: her calm, don't bring her homes. I just did it
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: for me. I never had the opportunity, So okay, Jay, Yeah,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: colors black white, that's my dude. All good, All good.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: And it's not when you're with a white when it's
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: not putting down black women. I mean, black women got
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: half of my money. You don't divorce, so hey, just now.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: It's like, I'm sure they deserved it. We believe in
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: the crayon barber. There's nothing wrong with it. I mean
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: the look you get just for what that do to you.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: You don't even know her. I didn't know who she
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: is or you. Yeah, yeah, you barely know me. What
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: didn't we do by eating in this establishment? And I
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: feel that what the hell did we do? Anybody so quiet?
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: White girl need sweetie pea chicken? Am I wrong? Establishment? Yeah?

- 1:19:24Speaker 1: he could whoop me? That's the first thing. That's let's
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: get that out to wait. What's wrong? Is you getting
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: mad about it? Tater Todd chimp, mustard sandwich special tater top,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: little bit potatoes, mustard everything, mustard, mustard on mustard. Right,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: he's got to eat, Steve, He's got to eat and
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: put mustard on nothing. That's what he won't people to say,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: don't use mustard on nothing. But you muss out there
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: on that grill. You fin to get yourself taught, so
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: you're gonna learn something. Then, so mustard cast a role.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: This mustard, bring your grill. Let's go. We need more mustard.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: And then and then all we gotta do is just
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: had the people try to meet. That's all that's all
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: we got to do. And you must make your own sauce.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: From here we go, Stephen Jr. Again Jay, and they
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: don't want none of this team we started on. Junior.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: You don't get me with that went over there? He
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: just oh, we can do that. Stephen Junior cooking against
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Tommy and Jay. Ain't any time. Anytime, we're gonna have
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: to add a little seat right and wrong. And it
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: better be in the summertime because we know who won't
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: show up. That's when we barbecue into summertime. Know that
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: you're ready. Yeah, so we'll see if he you know, no, No,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I'm just saying it's you know, I'm going to do
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: this right or wrong. But we're gonna see what play
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: side with. It's potting over there, right, it should just
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: be just just right. Can we just see what it is? Okay? Here,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: it is just you just have an open man. Please
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: tell this boy, if you get scared half to death twice,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: tell him you'll be dad to death, completely dead. Tell him, man,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: it's only two halves. He's right. If you just twice,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: you did. Come on, now, if you get scared half
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: to there twice, tell that boy you'll be dead. But
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: check this out though, If you get scared half to
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: death and you don't die, you get a redo. So
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: now you don't. That's wrong with these two because because
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: all you can never get scared the maximum scared is
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: half to death. That's the maximum scaled. That's different than
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: all the way then right, But if you get it
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: twice your dad, then no. But if you get it
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: twice and you and you didn't kill you the first time,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: because you only have that, you get a redo. You
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: only got a half left. If you get scared half
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: to death. Either way, you lose. See you at the
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: cook off, Shauty, What are you gonna stand on while? Okay,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: you like they give on the little women's shows, they
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: you're gonna ladder. You gotta pull your bobby by the steps.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: You got the time it got is his ass. It's hot.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: Let Steve Tommy can really really cook It don't matter,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: it don't matter. I bet you he came out barbecue me.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: I promise you. He can't think he can see what
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: you're listening to, Carl. Yes, he can cook a little bit.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I side noticed he ain't been inside at all now
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: on his own TV show, we watched him burn a
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: damn pizza while they was video on him. And that's
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: how we saw that on the pizza because the TV
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: chef they had insisted on putting the pizza on that
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: without the sheet that goes into my pizza of it,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: she insisted, And you had mustard on it, mustard on
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: the pia pizza. He just making he just he just
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: watch now we're making up. I threaten you. I was.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: You'all threaten you somewhere. I claim to be good at
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: and you claim to be better. So I said, I
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: challenge you to that. I didn't challenge you to nothing.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: I know I'm better than you, like you can't make
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: fried corn better than me. But I didn't say that though. See,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: because your ask be in trouble and you you can't
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: do fried green tomatoes better than me, because your ass
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: be in trouble, and you can't make red eye grave
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: it with ham slices because your ass be in trouble

- 1:28:24Speaker 1: If you're with a girl who's got more pictures of

- 1:29:28Speaker 1: A social media addict who cares more about portraying her
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: life online rather than actually living it. I have kids,
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: all right. Here's another one, guys, A woman who has
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: no independent interests or hobbies. Yeah, you got something. Yeah,
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: do love a woman with low self esteem, though man,
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: her low might not be low to you. You're like
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: one with low self team only because make your seen.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: So all right, Well, here's the last one. Women who
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: only talk gossip, that's all they have to do, that's
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: their whole conversation. He's gossip, gossip, gossip, gossip. I don't

- 1:30:36Speaker 1: I agree. Women gossip if we embid and she wanted gossip,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: I don't care what she's saying. She can say whatever
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: she wants. All right, here we go. Okay, so this
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: is good news. Michael Vick has cleared up a possible
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: one day retirement deal offers. Michael Vick clarified recently that
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: the claims he's in talks with the Atlanta Falcons. Yeah,
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: Michael Vick is just trying to get a one day
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: contract with the Falcon so he can retire and that
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: would help his retirement. And that's what. Oh, so he
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: is negotiating a one day contract deal so he can retire. Oh,

- 1:31:25Speaker 1: tweeted dirty Bird for for life and then how A
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: Vic stated that he ain't spoken to anybody in the
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: organization specifically, but in due time it's something that can
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: potentially happen. Mike is a good dude. This is a

- 1:32:02Speaker 1: you tell help me to damn man, you feel good
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: about yourself right now? Okay? And put him on this year? Okay,

- 1:32:23Speaker 1: the show. I got a Nick song for you, Oh yes,
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: I got one. But speaking again of Michael Vick, he
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: has done with the NFL. He's he's not done with
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: the sport. However, he's currently focused on the American Flag
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: Football League with an exhibition game. It's called the American
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: Flag Football League. I've never heard of that. That's been
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: okay with an exhibition exhibition game, I mean schedule for
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: next month. Uh. Michael explained in a statement. This league
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: could potentially be under the NFL. It will give guys
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: another opportunity to play the game in a safer way.
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: That's good. Yeah, that's really good news. Yeah, that's all
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: I could play. And I don't want to flag. I
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: don't chase me, don't snatch look at me. Man, Hell
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Steven play football in high school. I played football in
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: junior high One game had number twenty two on Claire
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: Scott cornerback. Cleveland Brown rained all day that damn day.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: I went in at halftime. Suit yet White ain't fail tackle.
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: Say all the hell is? You know you didn't play
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: the half of football and you ain't got nothing on.

- 1:34:01Speaker 1: to tell me they didn't want to sweep with nothing
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: your side. Now while I was standing over, how like
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: you didn't like it? It hurts nobody coming at you. Yeah,
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: that quickly, that fast, with all that force. Here do jokes.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: He boxed and played basketball. Yeah, all right, we'll be
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: back with just one more thing. We're gonna wrap up
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: the show. All right, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: We're back with time for just one more thing was happening?
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: All right, Steve, glad this is not you, but this

- 1:34:53Speaker 1: that he or she is actually miserable. They're actually miserable people.
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: Researchers found that bosses who see to be on a
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: power trip abusing employees by yelling and making unreasonable don't
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: do so because they get some kind of rush from
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: their show of dominance. Instead, all this nonsense actually makes
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: them feel worse about themselves. They feel less fulfilled, and
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: they feel less competent. Really, I used my dominance in
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: the bed room. How about it work? But that yeah,
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: it's more work dead and here actually I was just
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: talking about I take up more bed than anybody. Oh
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: that's what yourself. Okay, everybody got get on. I um.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: I met this older couple one time and their philosophy,
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: um of how they stayed married so long. They always
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: slept in a double bed. They never went to a
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: queen size or a king size. They didn't care if
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: they were angry with each other or whatever the case.
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: They always slept in a double bed. Well, and that's
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: how they said they kept the next to somebody, and
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: they're mad at you. That's really hard. Yeah, because naked,
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: I as soon as you touched the skin they flesh.
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, you'll be trying to make it that naked
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: and they're mad till that's a hole. Yeah yeah, but
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: but we are relentless though. We're not gonna give up
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: trying more than one. Not if you naked. Once your naked,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: we're gon we're gonna have to fix something. You don't apologize. Yes,
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: we need to do something unless you get this here?
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: What are you doing? Nothing? What's bad? When they're mad?
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: If they didn't walk around the whole kid and just
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: gonna tease you all day like they're really downstairs frying fish,
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: frying naked. It's very ray naked. Put that out there
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: and wow, because it's naked would be good. But you
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: ain't get there. And while she's standing, you might be
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: asked to pass the hot song around. But no. Add
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: that to another to my list of another thing I
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: won't be ever doing in life ever cooking frying fish naked?
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: Now I cook and I ain't doing that. We're just
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: doing the house cooke dangerous. It's like when you walk
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: back from the stove over to the fr just flat
