- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: more like amazing buck things. And it's not doing me
- 0:19Speaker 1: true good it. Steve has to move together for ste
- 0:30Speaker 1: please by I don't join join me to be doing me.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Have you gotta use turning, You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out, turn got to turn out, then turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water the water. Come come on your back at it.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh. I show, well a good morning everybody. You're
- 2:04Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well, nothing
- 2:12Speaker 1: changes about that, Nothing changes about that. Man. I was
- 2:17Speaker 1: just so getting ready to come on to air this morning.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I was just thinking, man, I was just having a
- 2:26Speaker 1: reflective moment of just how really good God has been
- 2:30Speaker 1: to me. I just it's it's it's man. Let me
- 2:36Speaker 1: just say that again, how really good God has been
- 2:39Speaker 1: to me. And here's a cold part. In spite of myself,
- 2:45Speaker 1: you understand, in spite of all my shortcomings, in spite
- 2:50Speaker 1: of all of my flaws and and and and in
- 2:55Speaker 1: spite of all of what anybody has said about me, God,
- 3:00Speaker 1: through his grace and mercy just keeps me anyway. So
- 3:04Speaker 1: many of us are exceptional people, but we refuse to
- 3:13Speaker 1: just go ahead and be exceptional. We settle for the ordinary.
- 3:19Speaker 1: We follow the pack. We try to fit in. Man,
- 3:24Speaker 1: oh man, oh man. You know I've heard my wife
- 3:26Speaker 1: say this to my children all the time. When she's
- 3:29Speaker 1: scolding talking to him, she'd be talking to him about leadership.
- 3:33Speaker 1: You know, why are you following everybody when God clearly
- 3:36Speaker 1: made you to lead? So many of us are born,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and so many of you are born to be exceptional people,
- 3:43Speaker 1: but we always trying to follow the pack. Why would
- 3:48Speaker 1: you try to fit in? Why would you try to
- 3:51Speaker 1: be like everybody else be ordinary? Why would you follow
- 3:57Speaker 1: the pack when God has created you to be exceptional?
- 4:02Speaker 1: The key word in exceptional is accept you. Have you
- 4:06Speaker 1: ever done this right here? You know? Everybody did that
- 4:09Speaker 1: accept me. Everybody felt that way except me. Everybody said
- 4:17Speaker 1: that except me. Everybody won't wanted that. Accept me. Everybody
- 4:23Speaker 1: went over that except me. Everybody jumped in except me,
- 4:29Speaker 1: accept me. See why have you saying that in your life?
- 4:34Speaker 1: If you were not to be exceptional? See, you got
- 4:38Speaker 1: to say everybody accept me at one point in You're
- 4:40Speaker 1: to I don't know who ain't done it. You know
- 4:43Speaker 1: everybody wanted, everybody voted no except me. See, so you're
- 4:49Speaker 1: not You're not created to follow the pack. You ain't
- 4:52Speaker 1: created to fit in. You ain't created to h you know,
- 4:56Speaker 1: to be ordinary. You will create it to be exceptional,
- 5:00Speaker 1: as exceptional as your fingerprint on your finger is. You
- 5:04Speaker 1: were created to be exceptional. Why not make this the
- 5:07Speaker 1: year that you go ahead on and be exceptional? Why
- 5:12Speaker 1: won't this be the year that you decide in your mind?
- 5:16Speaker 1: But just has to be a decision that we make.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Now we're not following the pack no more. We're not
- 5:21Speaker 1: trying to fit in no more. We ain't settling for
- 5:25Speaker 1: ordinary no more. We're gonna be exceptional. But you know,
- 5:29Speaker 1: you got you got to go ahead and follow that.
- 5:31Speaker 1: You got to get on the exceptional path, because that's
- 5:34Speaker 1: what you were created for. Why be ordinary? You know?
- 5:37Speaker 1: But all of this this comes to it has to
- 5:40Speaker 1: start with a thought. You got to first think something
- 5:45Speaker 1: thought to become things. A man is as he thinketh
- 5:49Speaker 1: that's all you will ever be. So what are your
- 5:53Speaker 1: thoughts today? Why not have exceptional thoughts instead of ordinary thoughts?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Why not have exceptional thoughts instead of fitting thee in thoughts?
- 6:01Speaker 1: So why you want to be like everybody else? Why
- 6:04Speaker 1: you want to be ordinary when you could possibly be
- 6:07Speaker 1: extraordinary with a change of your mind, a change of
- 6:11Speaker 1: your venue, And you don't have to be any other
- 6:14Speaker 1: kind of way just because my mama was this way,
- 6:17Speaker 1: my daddy was this way, this the school I went to? This?
- 6:20Speaker 1: What race I belong to? This is my sexual preference,
- 6:23Speaker 1: this is my this, this is my dadd Why? How many?
- 6:26Speaker 1: How many? How many excuses you need? I'm an excuse? What? What? What? What? You?
- 6:31Speaker 1: What's it gonna be this year that we let another
- 6:34Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five days slip by without improving
- 6:38Speaker 1: our condition, our place, our spot, our life, the quality
- 6:43Speaker 1: of life we have. We cannot afford to keep letting
- 6:48Speaker 1: all these years go by without changing. You're an exceptional person.
- 6:55Speaker 1: How many times have you set up and said, everybody
- 6:58Speaker 1: did that? Accept me? You know I was only everybody
- 7:02Speaker 1: jumped in accept me. I told him I knew it.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Everybody voted for that, accept me. And now look at it, man,
- 7:11Speaker 1: it seemed like everybody went that way, accept me. Okay,
- 7:16Speaker 1: do you get it? Do you understand what's being said?
- 7:21Speaker 1: To you that don't accept me is because couldn't it be?
- 7:25Speaker 1: Because you're an exceptional person, and it's time for you
- 7:28Speaker 1: to take control of that. It's time for you to
- 7:31Speaker 1: start thinking different. It's time for you to start acting
- 7:34Speaker 1: on what you think. It's time for you to start
- 7:36Speaker 1: doing something about it. It's time for you to stop
- 7:39Speaker 1: taking each and every day that God gives us for
- 7:41Speaker 1: granted and letting them go by the wayside, like you
- 7:44Speaker 1: got plenty more. Well, you may have plenty more, but
- 7:48Speaker 1: guess what what you're wasting the ones you got for
- 7:52Speaker 1: I got you young, and you and you feel like
- 7:54Speaker 1: you're gonna live forever. Dah, okay, cool, But let me
- 7:57Speaker 1: ask you something. See here, here, here, here go the
- 8:00Speaker 1: part about pose you do live? See see everybody willing
- 8:04Speaker 1: about dying. But I got news for you. Suppose you
- 8:06Speaker 1: keep on living. You want to keep living in the
- 8:08Speaker 1: condition you in now. You want to keep living with
- 8:11Speaker 1: the money you got now. You want to keep living
- 8:13Speaker 1: with the relationship you got now. You want to keep
- 8:16Speaker 1: living by yourself like you are now. You want to
- 8:19Speaker 1: keep wanting the right relationship, the right man, the the
- 8:22Speaker 1: right woman, but you keep getting the wrong one. You
- 8:24Speaker 1: want to keep doing that for the rest of your life.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Problem ain't dying. It's problem is if you keep on living.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Who wants to keep on living just the way they
- 8:32Speaker 1: are right now? And if you can say I'm cool
- 8:35Speaker 1: what I am, just the way I am right now,
- 8:37Speaker 1: it ain't cool. This conversation ain't for you. I ain't
- 8:39Speaker 1: got no problem with that. You know you wanna say.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Greatness ain't for everybody being exceptional, ain't for everybody becoming extraordinary.
- 8:48Speaker 1: It ain't fun everybody. Heck, becoming successful ain't fun everybody.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I got it. And you can come up with a
- 8:56Speaker 1: way to justify your non existence in your ordinary life
- 8:59Speaker 1: all you won't. And that's fine and dandy. I ain't
- 9:02Speaker 1: got no problem with it. Because some people just gonna
- 9:04Speaker 1: be regular. Some people just gonna follow the pack, follow
- 9:08Speaker 1: the crowd. Some people just wants to fit in. But
- 9:12Speaker 1: if you're not that person, if you want to be extraordinary,
- 9:15Speaker 1: if you want to be exceptional, if you want to
- 9:18Speaker 1: be if you want to dad to be great at something,
- 9:21Speaker 1: and you got to change your mind set. You got
- 9:23Speaker 1: to get with your creating, find out what he created.
- 9:26Speaker 1: You fault. You gotta quit thinking of things just in
- 9:28Speaker 1: your own thought process. You know, lean not to your
- 9:32Speaker 1: own understanding. I don't know what that is, but it's
- 9:34Speaker 1: in there somewhere. Seeing once you lean, if you lean
- 9:38Speaker 1: to your own understanding, you know what it's gonna do.
- 9:40Speaker 1: It's gonna limit you. Man, it's gonna limit you. Why
- 9:43Speaker 1: not see what God got for you. I would rather
- 9:46Speaker 1: know what God got for me than to think of
- 9:48Speaker 1: all the things I could because I can't out think
- 9:51Speaker 1: him out and tried it before. All right, it's just
- 9:54Speaker 1: the beginning. We're gonna have a good one. Man. Let's go.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening, everybody. It is Monday and you are listening
- 10:04Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Our balls slept in

- 11:02Speaker 1: Last time I saw it? So let me ask when
- 11:05Speaker 1: you get here? Yeah? Yeah, that's what I wanted. Is
- 11:08Speaker 1: he gonna had at green mana door coming to America
- 11:12Speaker 1: jacket on it? He excuh, was you don't look like
- 11:19Speaker 1: coming to America? Part file If that don't that's why
- 11:23Speaker 1: that was the head guys. Remember when I asked him
- 11:26Speaker 1: what he was gonna wear, he said green cheese. Remember
- 11:29Speaker 1: that it wasn't blue cheese this year. It was green cheese.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Uh huh. So this is it. That was go chay
- 11:37Speaker 1: and Gabanna. By the way, Tommy, thank you. I didn't know.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Don't chake about it. It's don't do that normal. That's
- 11:42Speaker 1: what that was. That was, don't do that. You don't
- 11:45Speaker 1: like it, you don't like it. I really it was
- 11:49Speaker 1: not your flavor. It was too much gold on it.
- 11:53Speaker 1: I mean, he really could have been Bishop don Juan
- 11:57Speaker 1: last night. He really could have been. Only it was
- 12:03Speaker 1: or something like that, maybe a crown with a match Yeah, crown,
- 12:08Speaker 1: I mean, was the gold part croquee on it? A
- 12:11Speaker 1: crochet on it? Croque brocade, crochee, crocheted. That's what I'm
- 12:21Speaker 1: telling about. No, I don't have I don't have a
- 12:24Speaker 1: picture of the pants. Was the pants matching pants? Because
- 12:26Speaker 1: I don't have a pan? Oh? Stop that, Jay, Now
- 12:31Speaker 1: you know better than that one going down? I didn't
- 12:35Speaker 1: see the pants. I couldn't see the pants. I got
- 12:38Speaker 1: the three quarter shot. Okay, we saw that, But I'm
- 12:41Speaker 1: just going on the here's what happened. Here's the thing
- 12:46Speaker 1: right here. If you hit him with a stick, candy
- 12:48Speaker 1: or Popeye, I'm telling you, man, oh my god, he's
- 12:58Speaker 1: gonna kill me. I know he's I'm with you. Look closer,
- 13:05Speaker 1: closer now, swing we love yeah, green cheese, because he'd
- 13:17Speaker 1: be dressing, right, he'd be dress, he'd be crochet by Crokay.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Are you doing all right? Steve is definitely on his way.
- 13:31Speaker 1: He overslept a little bit with all the festivities going

- 15:26Speaker 1: What was that? Can't nobody be that damn nice? I
- 15:30Speaker 1: mean nobody? No, I mean was he was? He was?
- 15:35Speaker 1: He was nice? Was he like that? Nicest man you
- 15:40Speaker 1: ever wanted me? I mean, there's there's nobody on the
- 15:43Speaker 1: face of the earth that's that damn nice. But wait
- 15:46Speaker 1: a minute, Jay, I have not seen the movie that
- 15:49Speaker 1: was Those were different times back then, now people that
- 15:55Speaker 1: beautiful day on the neighborhood. Yeah, but nice, nice and
- 15:59Speaker 1: perfect are two different things. We're not. You're not saying
- 16:02Speaker 1: he's perfect. You're just saying he's really a nice man. Yeah,
- 16:05Speaker 1: hain't nobody to write that many nice songs, all this soulful,
- 16:15Speaker 1: snife polite. He's very blite man. I'm just saying nobody
- 16:21Speaker 1: to be that nice, But what was it? Was? Just
- 16:24Speaker 1: too nice? Was Eddie Murphy's character mister Robinson? Mister Yeah,
- 16:34Speaker 1: that was more true to life. Mister Rogers, I will
- 16:38Speaker 1: see that more true to life. Yeah, yea, all right,
- 16:44Speaker 1: Well I'm glad. I mean, you know, we all grew
- 16:47Speaker 1: up on mister Rogers. Yeah. Um yeah, okay, let me
- 16:51Speaker 1: tell y'all this. Can I tell y'all what I did
- 16:53Speaker 1: this weekend? Yeah? I had a master class. You know,
- 16:57Speaker 1: your boys stepping out there now, master class. I was
- 17:00Speaker 1: a masterclass at Prince George's Community College in Maryland. Okay,
- 17:05Speaker 1: so your boy, you know, you know, we did a
- 17:07Speaker 1: masterclass that's theater, radio, film, television. And your boy was
- 17:12Speaker 1: flying in then, and all the students was asking your

- 17:16Speaker 1: like that, y'all y'all standing Jay. It was. It was
- 17:25Speaker 1: students and they were asking questions about film, theater. They were,
- 17:29Speaker 1: you know, they're majoring in radio and television. And you know,
- 17:32Speaker 1: the nephew came in there and did the dog on thing.
- 17:36Speaker 1: That was Thomas Miles. Jay, Thomas Miles cold player. Well
- 17:40Speaker 1: what about nephew, Tommy? What did he do? He didn't do?
- 17:49Speaker 1: And let me tell you this. Thomas Miles also hosted

- 19:14Speaker 1: such a historian. She knew backwards for what was going
- 19:17Speaker 1: on this. I gotta go back. You can't do it
- 19:19Speaker 1: one day, Yeah, that's what I heard. It takes two
- 19:21Speaker 1: or three days to really get through now. Huh. Yeah,
- 19:26Speaker 1: you started to bottom. You started the bottom of the
- 19:29Speaker 1: building and you work your way up. Slavery is at
- 19:31Speaker 1: the bottom, and you work your way up. It's amazing.
- 19:33Speaker 1: We black people are amazing. Let me just let me
- 19:36Speaker 1: tell you that we are some amazing. See that's good.

- 19:56Speaker 1: I look up to him. I'm telling me right now,
- 19:58Speaker 1: Thomas Miles. Alright, what'd you do this weekend? Called? What'd
- 20:02Speaker 1: you do? I was dance mom this weekend, said I
- 20:05Speaker 1: was dancing this weekend. I was. I was doing that too,

- 20:18Speaker 1: So I was dancing and I looked fabulous. I must say. Alright, girl, alright, girl,
- 20:23Speaker 1: what about you? I went to Chicago visited. Did you
- 20:29Speaker 1: go stand at the Peoplehouse again? It was so cold there,
- 20:36Speaker 1: That's all I have to say. It was so cold.
- 20:42Speaker 1: All right, listen, coming up next. It is Monday, so
- 20:45Speaker 1: you know, church complaints are untapped. Deacon dev Jam Of course,
- 20:48Speaker 1: Reverend Motown is out right now, but uh, Reverend Adnoid
- 20:53Speaker 1: and maybe Deacon Junior will be in the building with
- 20:56Speaker 1: church complaints. Right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show
- 21:01Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. Guys in
- 21:03Speaker 1: entertainment news, Marlin Wayans has opened up about Bill Cosby. Also,
- 21:07Speaker 1: Eddie Murphy thinks ten children are sexy, and Steve is
- 21:12Speaker 1: on his way. He's gonna join us to talk about
- 21:14Speaker 1: last night's Miss Universe pageant. It was hosted by Green

- 21:37Speaker 1: Motown is out of commission at this time. He'll be
- 21:43Speaker 1: in momentarily, but I don't think he'll be in tip
- 21:45Speaker 1: and church complaints, But sitting in with me is the
- 21:48Speaker 1: one and only Reverend Adnoid. Everybuddy, are you? Are you
- 21:57Speaker 1: sure you're up to it? Dick? Reverend add a clear clear? Now?
- 22:03Speaker 1: I don't think you're really clear, but we'll deal with it.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Take a netted pot if he would get one and
- 22:14Speaker 1: take a respirator. Family Lord, all right, we're gonna get
- 22:22Speaker 1: down in the business. I have some uh major church
- 22:25Speaker 1: complaints going on. I remember that. No, are you up
- 22:28Speaker 1: to helping me with it? Up to helping you with
- 22:30Speaker 1: these and see we could solve the problem that you have.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Let's see what you have. All right. We have a
- 22:35Speaker 1: major issue at night, Sister Brenda Dixon, who is bipolar.
- 22:43Speaker 1: We are asking please don't buy her teddy ball for Christmas.
- 22:46Speaker 1: That's disrespectful, uh, because she is bipolar. I'm sorry they
- 22:51Speaker 1: did that last year and buy her teddy ba. Don't
- 22:54Speaker 1: do that. That is disrespectful, okay, and all the members
- 22:57Speaker 1: need to know it. But they are always trying to
- 22:59Speaker 1: buy her teddy bad polar. They don't understand what bipolar is,
- 23:06Speaker 1: so they keep buying hood damn teddy Bear. Okay, so
- 23:11Speaker 1: two would listen to two damned. That's the look, fools,
- 23:16Speaker 1: that's not what bipolar is. Okay, it don't mean by
- 23:20Speaker 1: two damn teddy bears. Okay, stop it, thank you so
- 23:28Speaker 1: kind stop it. Listen. Uh the deva cuss the deva
- 23:41Speaker 1: cuse journey again Baby Jesus in the Christmas program last
- 23:45Speaker 1: year now, last year he was eight pounds five ounces.
- 23:51Speaker 1: A year later and now the boy wait ninety two pounds.
- 23:55Speaker 1: They say it's impossible to wrap him in swaddling clothes
- 23:59Speaker 1: and get him him in the main este But that
- 24:02Speaker 1: is the youngest kind we have at the church. We
- 24:05Speaker 1: have nobody to play jeans of that now, and he
- 24:08Speaker 1: is the lightest child that we have. So we checked
- 24:11Speaker 1: the weights of all the other children, and he's up
- 24:15Speaker 1: under the weight of other children. And what we have
- 24:18Speaker 1: decided to do instead of rising him hook, we're just
- 24:22Speaker 1: gonna shine a light on his ass when that part
- 24:24Speaker 1: come up, so we won't we won't be able to
- 24:28Speaker 1: lift him in the air, so we'll just shine a
- 24:30Speaker 1: light on him and that. But no, he's rising up
- 24:35Speaker 1: some kind of way, laughing at this. So you want
- 24:38Speaker 1: to raise him up and maybe put a flashlight behind him.
- 24:41Speaker 1: How do you want to do? The flashlight behind him,
- 24:43Speaker 1: and then the shadow will shine on the wall and
- 24:45Speaker 1: that will looks like he is rising. Okay, that's what
- 24:48Speaker 1: we're gonna do. Now you're talking more d light. What
- 24:53Speaker 1: kind of light do you want? I'm talking battery flashlight
- 24:57Speaker 1: that will shine on his ass and then will show
- 25:00Speaker 1: it and it'll shoot. He'll be big on the wall
- 25:03Speaker 1: on the right. And then okay, it looked like he
- 25:08Speaker 1: go over. He can't go lower. Here's something else, brother
- 25:15Speaker 1: had Now we got a situation between two of the
- 25:18Speaker 1: brothers that they going any Brother Jollivette and brother Cartwright
- 25:23Speaker 1: need you to settle a dispute. Since you're sitting in
- 25:26Speaker 1: I need Joe hell. Brother Cartwright keeps telling Brother Jollivette
- 25:31Speaker 1: that they had cause. In the Bibbler Cardames, brother Jollivan
- 25:36Speaker 1: told him that he was out of his mind. Now
- 25:38Speaker 1: listen to him. Now, Brother Cartwright says, why in Acts
- 25:43Speaker 1: chapter two doesn't say they wore all in one accord,
- 25:49Speaker 1: so they were in absolutely right that he is not lying.
- 25:58Speaker 1: There was one accord back in cut that they were
- 26:03Speaker 1: in agreement. It was all in a chord. R. Peter
- 26:14Speaker 1: Matthew James John Right. Now, listen, we got a problem here.
- 26:21Speaker 1: The Death Ministry is complaining the new persons complaining that
- 26:28Speaker 1: the Death Ministry is complaining. They the new person that
- 26:34Speaker 1: does the sign language, sister Wretha Kirkwood stut Us with
- 26:40Speaker 1: her sign language, and Death Ministry they're staying an extra
- 26:48Speaker 1: thirty minutes after everyone else has gone because they the
- 26:51Speaker 1: sermon is late getting to them. She stutter us with
- 26:53Speaker 1: her hands, and that's the problem is she has cramps
- 26:58Speaker 1: in her hands, and so when she's signing, she has
- 27:01Speaker 1: to shake out the cramp, right, and it looks like
- 27:04Speaker 1: she's given another sign, but what she's doing is shaking
- 27:07Speaker 1: the cramp out, and it's throwing the death people off right,
- 27:11Speaker 1: And then then that's yeah, And she show her the
- 27:14Speaker 1: cramp and cramps her fingers up and then she shakes
- 27:17Speaker 1: them to try to get it out, and they go,
- 27:19Speaker 1: I heard that. So one of them said that I
- 27:21Speaker 1: don't know who didn't, but at night, now hold on,
- 27:34Speaker 1: hold on to yourself. And that's when I again didn't
- 27:38Speaker 1: pay good money for her. Go right ahead. The liling
- 27:43Speaker 1: pop Minister has a sucking convention that's coming sad. They
- 27:50Speaker 1: know we have some better suckers at this page, and
- 27:53Speaker 1: they won't come forward. They're asking that, never man, you started,
- 28:01Speaker 1: it finishes, finish. It's hard for me to do it.
- 28:08Speaker 1: My sister call and look at that. We're gonna discontinue
- 28:15Speaker 1: the Lillipop Ministry from this point. Oh never man, no,
- 28:27Speaker 1: I try, I try. Let's go back to cars in
- 28:35Speaker 1: Biblical times in one call. That was the first card.
- 28:43Speaker 1: All right, thank you, guys, thank you so much. Coming
- 28:46Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, entertainment and national
- 28:49Speaker 1: news and probably Steve Harvey coming up right after this.
- 28:53Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 28:59Speaker 1: do we need to yeah? Do we need a drum roll? Please? Yes?
- 29:04Speaker 1: Drum and roll it, ladies and gentlemen. He is here,
- 29:12Speaker 1: the one and only the host of the sixty ninth
- 29:15Speaker 1: Annual Women's Universe has the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Only only five count the last five, Yeah, the only
- 29:24Speaker 1: only the five count about them sixty nine. I don't
- 29:27Speaker 1: know what they was doing. I don't know how they
- 29:30Speaker 1: was doing it about none of that jacket to work?
- 29:37Speaker 1: Now now I didn't bring it to work. It's where Jack,
- 29:39Speaker 1: What are you gonna do? Well? Actually, the first time
- 29:43Speaker 1: I've ever done this on the inside of the jacket
- 29:45Speaker 1: is said the two thousand nineteen Miss Universe paget, who
- 29:49Speaker 1: was written on there. So for the first time ever
- 29:52Speaker 1: I've had I had the winner signed the inside of
- 29:56Speaker 1: the jacket. Oh from South Africa. Hey man, you know
- 30:06Speaker 1: what it was with that with that young lady. You know,
- 30:10Speaker 1: this year they made a real conscious effort. I don't
- 30:12Speaker 1: know if you noticed it, but this is the first
- 30:14Speaker 1: time we've had all female judges because you know, that's
- 30:17Speaker 1: such a that's such a movement to empower women. So
- 30:23Speaker 1: they said, okay, cool, so skip this some guy sitting
- 30:26Speaker 1: that time up. Man, she had the best walk in
- 30:28Speaker 1: all like that. Um, those women were sitting there and
- 30:32Speaker 1: when that question came up where you had to put
- 30:35Speaker 1: your headsets home where it actually had to you had
- 30:39Speaker 1: to not only answer the question, but you had to
- 30:41Speaker 1: have a better answer than your competitors. That's when that
- 30:46Speaker 1: girl from South Africa started putting some distance on everybody
- 30:52Speaker 1: because that girl right there was smart. Not only did
- 30:55Speaker 1: she have an incredible background story. Not only was a
- 30:58Speaker 1: girl cute as a button, but that girl was smart
- 31:01Speaker 1: and all of her answers were just like even the
- 31:05Speaker 1: crowd that wasn't you know from South Africa. You could
- 31:10Speaker 1: just see their faces like wow, wow, yeah that girl
- 31:15Speaker 1: wo man, that crowd went off when she wore oh deservedly,
- 31:20Speaker 1: so they were saying yeah yeah, and all the girls
- 31:24Speaker 1: were happy for her because all the girls liked her.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Pretty girl I was surprised she wasn't in it. I
- 31:35Speaker 1: really was. I was surprised. I have a question, serious questions.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Since it was held in Tyler Perry's studios, was there
- 31:43Speaker 1: more of us than this year? Yes, yes, yes, just
- 31:48Speaker 1: the most, just the most black people I've ever seen it.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Miss you know, but now know this, when the tickets
- 31:55Speaker 1: went on sale, in one hour, they were gone. What
- 31:58Speaker 1: in one hour those tickets were gone one a testament
- 32:03Speaker 1: to you or the fact that well it's just the
- 32:06Speaker 1: paget man. You you know, Puerto Rico knew that they
- 32:10Speaker 1: had a contest, the Philippines and Thailand. That means the
- 32:14Speaker 1: world to those countries, not Puerto Rico, but Puerto Rico
- 32:17Speaker 1: was there because just you know, in America we are
- 32:19Speaker 1: such a large I mean, Puerto Rico is a part
- 32:21Speaker 1: of America, but it's such a large contingent from that
- 32:24Speaker 1: island that you know, they were there in large numbers.
- 32:28Speaker 1: But it was really man just the Asian Pacific country
- 32:33Speaker 1: short for that, Thailand, Philippines, all those those countries there
- 32:40Speaker 1: that miss universe is they let's stay super Bowl. Wow. Wow.
- 32:46Speaker 1: So I guess when we come back, um, we're gonna
- 32:49Speaker 1: go to headlines and now, but when we come back
- 32:51Speaker 1: at some point the guys want to talk about the jacket, Steve,
- 32:54Speaker 1: ain't no problem. They can't gog them or whatever they
- 32:56Speaker 1: want to, all right, but right was introducing bring in
- 33:01Speaker 1: miss Anne please, ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Shrip, thank
- 33:04Speaker 1: you very very much. And yeah, that was a beautiful pageant, Steve,
- 33:07Speaker 1: he did a really great job. This is Anne Trip
- 33:09Speaker 1: for the News. FBI says no arrests have been made
- 33:11Speaker 1: in connection with Fridays shooting at the naval Air base
- 33:14Speaker 1: in Pensacola, Florida. A gunman killed three people before he
- 33:18Speaker 1: was shot and killed himself. The shooter identified as a
- 33:21Speaker 1: twenty one year old member of the Royal Saudi Air
- 33:23Speaker 1: Force and he was apparently on the base for training,
- 33:26Speaker 1: along with a number of other Saudis, and the FBI's
- 33:29Speaker 1: Rachel Rojas says they're all being question Our main goal
- 33:32Speaker 1: right now is to confirm whether he acted alone or
- 33:36Speaker 1: was he the part of a larger network. We currently
- 33:39Speaker 1: assess there was one gunman. Other Saudias Is said to
- 33:43Speaker 1: be cooperating, but the FBI says they haven't settled on
- 33:46Speaker 1: a motive. However, they're now saying this morning that the
- 33:48Speaker 1: motive was terrorism, that this guy had gone on Facebook
- 33:52Speaker 1: and talked about how he did not appreciate the US
- 33:54Speaker 1: backing of Israel. The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee,
- 33:58Speaker 1: Gerald Nadler, says that the legislator he could vote on
- 34:00Speaker 1: articles of impeachment against President Trump before this week is out.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Natalis says that the committee's preparing for a hearing later
- 34:06Speaker 1: this morning, right around nine o'clock our time on the
- 34:08Speaker 1: East Coast time, on evidence gathered in a three hundred
- 34:11Speaker 1: page report issued by the House Intelligence Panel, a report
- 34:15Speaker 1: which Natalis tells CNN Stay the Union, concludes that Trump
- 34:18Speaker 1: put his personal and political interests in dealing with Ukraine
- 34:21Speaker 1: over those of the country, and then refused to cooperate
- 34:23Speaker 1: with the Congress. President Trump says that his personal attorney
- 34:26Speaker 1: Ruigiliani is going to deliver a report soon to the
- 34:28Speaker 1: Congress and to his Attorney General, William Barr about the
- 34:32Speaker 1: information Trump says that Giuliani uncovered during his latest trip
- 34:36Speaker 1: to the Ukraine. Because Trump says, quote, I hear he's
- 34:38Speaker 1: found plenty, Ruigiliani reportedly repeatedly made what have turned out
- 34:43Speaker 1: to be anyway unsubstantiated claims about supposed interactions between the
- 34:47Speaker 1: Obama White House and Ukraine. Several administrative officials testified during
- 34:52Speaker 1: impeachment hearings that Giuliani was pushing purely politically motivated conspiracy
- 34:56Speaker 1: theories at the expense of the interests of the American people.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Get this. A woman has started a petition to keep
- 35:03Speaker 1: Pro Football play Hall of Famer Michael Vick from serving
- 35:06Speaker 1: as one of twenty twenties Pro Ball Legends Captains. So far,
- 35:09Speaker 1: the petition's got about two hundred and twenty thousand signatures.
- 35:12Speaker 1: The Legends captains would act as mentors for the Pro
- 35:15Speaker 1: Ball players d while leading a specific team's offense or defense.
- 35:18Speaker 1: The NFL announced that Vick would join fellow Hall of
- 35:21Speaker 1: famers Terrell Davis, Darryl Green, and Bruce Smith. Michael Vick
- 35:24Speaker 1: served eighteen months, you may remember, in federal prison after
- 35:27Speaker 1: can be convicted of running what prosecutors called a cool
- 35:30Speaker 1: and inhumane dogfighting ring and then lying about it. The
- 35:33Speaker 1: twenty twenty Pro Ball takes place January twenty six in Orlando. Finally,
- 35:37Speaker 1: Disney's Frozen two was tops at the box office for
- 35:39Speaker 1: the third weekend in a row. I'm going with you, Anna,
- 35:43Speaker 1: No excuse me. I climbed the North Mountain, survived a
- 35:45Speaker 1: frozen heart, and saved you from my ex boyfriend. So
- 35:48Speaker 1: you know I'm coming. Brought another thirty five million. Now
- 35:52Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 35:54Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, last night it was
- 35:58Speaker 1: the annual Miss Universe path Jennet was hosted by our
- 36:01Speaker 1: very own Steve Harvey at Tyler Perry Studios and for
- 36:06Speaker 1: the first time that's right, Uh, Steve, we saw you
- 36:10Speaker 1: rock in your green and gold jacket. Okay, so tell
- 36:13Speaker 1: us about that please? What I mean? This jacket out?
- 36:18Speaker 1: How did this come about? You know what I mean?
- 36:20Speaker 1: What could I tell you? You know it's green, it's money,
- 36:27Speaker 1: you know? Uh huh what crochee on that gold part
- 36:33Speaker 1: with that crochete on that who made the jacket? Don't do? Who?
- 36:39Speaker 1: Don't shake? Abe? Well? My question is this, since Miss
- 36:44Speaker 1: South Africa signed the inside of the jacket, could you
- 36:48Speaker 1: wear the jacket inside out? I mean I think why
- 36:56Speaker 1: would why would want to wear this? Well? Because it
- 36:59Speaker 1: has the winners? She's yeah, now see what you want
- 37:03Speaker 1: to do? Jay? No, see you just that's the inside.
- 37:09Speaker 1: It's the pika boo A portion of a plus. If
- 37:13Speaker 1: I decide to later on put the Universe jackets up
- 37:18Speaker 1: for auction for charity here to have more value, I
- 37:21Speaker 1: had the inside of last year's jacket would have had
- 37:25Speaker 1: all the stars on it and the galaxy. I had
- 37:28Speaker 1: the whole universe only jacket. He was blue and had
- 37:31Speaker 1: all the Schwarski crystals on it. The inside had every
- 37:35Speaker 1: country's name of the Miss Universe contestament, not their names,
- 37:39Speaker 1: but the country. You're not listening to me. I'm saying,
- 37:42Speaker 1: if you would wear the jacket one time inside out,
- 37:46Speaker 1: that would increase the v that would increase the at
- 37:52Speaker 1: once one inside out by Steve Harvey. Now, who wouldn't
- 37:55Speaker 1: want about it? The late Great Tim Willis boo uh
- 38:00Speaker 1: in boomerang uh John John Witherschool, John Witherspoon, John with
- 38:07Speaker 1: late Great John Witherspool wore his jacket inside out after
- 38:10Speaker 1: coming out the bathroom the first room that we di's
- 38:17Speaker 1: appropriate to wear the jacket that way. And your your
- 38:22Speaker 1: jacket ain't boomerang. You you mo like coming to America.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Princess a Moonda, You mo Princess a Moon Obviously you
- 38:31Speaker 1: be in the size that you are. You had a
- 38:33Speaker 1: problem with the jacket of some sorts because it was
- 38:38Speaker 1: so long. I couldn't even see the pan. I still
- 38:40Speaker 1: don't know what could of pants You had a right yet.
- 38:44Speaker 1: First of all, the jacket wasn't long at all. It
- 38:46Speaker 1: just looked long because you short. It was really a
- 38:51Speaker 1: regular side super coade. It really was like as all
- 38:54Speaker 1: of my other Dohaker battle suits, which you've never said that,
- 38:58Speaker 1: But then Broidery gave it a longer, more tapered look.
- 39:01Speaker 1: That was the design. I can feel the hate in
- 39:06Speaker 1: Yale show to head. Hey, all right, coming up in
- 39:17Speaker 1: thirty four after the hour more Miss Universe highlights coming
- 39:21Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening to all right, Steve.
- 39:28Speaker 1: You made it in after a big night last night
- 39:31Speaker 1: with the Miss Universe pageant. So tell us now what
- 39:34Speaker 1: happened with Well, you can explain it better than I can,
- 39:37Speaker 1: for sure, So tell us what went down with Miss Malaysia. Well, see, people,
- 39:43Speaker 1: you know I've been hearing that this stuff is trendy,
- 39:45Speaker 1: but people don't know how this works. First of all,
- 39:49Speaker 1: when I was reading the teleprompter and I said the Philippines,
- 39:53Speaker 1: it was in reference to the picture which had actually
- 39:57Speaker 1: won the costume which we in the silver that was
- 40:02Speaker 1: Miss Philippines. The mistake that got made was the lady
- 40:06Speaker 1: that was standing there from Malaysia asked me for the mica,
- 40:09Speaker 1: said excuse me, Steve, can I say something? And I
- 40:12Speaker 1: handed her the mic and she says, I'm not from Philippines,
- 40:16Speaker 1: I'm from Malaysia. Okay. First of all, lady, you're not
- 40:20Speaker 1: supposed to be talking. You're supposed to just stand here
- 40:23Speaker 1: with your outfit on. But since you asked for the mic,
- 40:27Speaker 1: I gave it to her. So then since she did that,
- 40:30Speaker 1: I just tried to play like it was a mistake
- 40:33Speaker 1: in the teleprompter instead of putting her own blasts and
- 40:36Speaker 1: going you weren't supposed to be talking, yeah, because then
- 40:40Speaker 1: my next reference was gonna be her. But she didn't
- 40:44Speaker 1: let the whole thing play out because there was supposed
- 40:46Speaker 1: to be another costume came up from a Canada that
- 40:50Speaker 1: had all green marijuana leaves on it, and that joke
- 40:55Speaker 1: was supposed to be that ain't the Canadian maple leaf.
- 40:58Speaker 1: I didn't know snoop Dog was designed and outfits now
- 41:04Speaker 1: and then it was another joke. But the miss Malaysia
- 41:08Speaker 1: lady when she asked for the mic. I mean, the
- 41:12Speaker 1: producers were going, why is she talking? But I didn't
- 41:14Speaker 1: want her to get no trouble, so I turned around
- 41:16Speaker 1: and said, man, y'all did it to me again? It's
- 41:19Speaker 1: say the Philippines right there, And I just took that
- 41:22Speaker 1: so it wouldn't be on her. Yeah. Yeah, such a
- 41:27Speaker 1: gentleman man. It's always a backstory to what is going
- 41:31Speaker 1: down people. But you know, people on the internet, they
- 41:34Speaker 1: got nothing else to do. Steve makes another mistake. I
- 41:37Speaker 1: didn't make no mistake. I read the teleprompter and she
- 41:41Speaker 1: didn't give me a chance to reference the lady and
- 41:45Speaker 1: the silver who was the actual winner from the Philippines.
- 41:50Speaker 1: I said, we have here the winner from the Philippines. Now.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Before I could turn and point to the screen, Miss
- 41:57Speaker 1: Malaysia said, Steve, can I say something? Okay? That was
- 42:02Speaker 1: out of the ordinary. That ain't what it supposed to be, right.
- 42:05Speaker 1: People are reacting to what they see on TV live TV,
- 42:09Speaker 1: and so like you said, here comes the headlines, you know,
- 42:13Speaker 1: trending today. You don't do nothing, then, I don't think jacket,
- 42:17Speaker 1: you don't do nothing. You know, Timmy, your sense of fashion.
- 42:25Speaker 1: It's quite different. You know, they don't make everything in
- 42:28Speaker 1: g I Joe fashion. When you shop at and why
- 42:31Speaker 1: I shot at in the grown Middi sexual timming, they
- 42:35Speaker 1: have things like this. You understand, but but you know,
- 42:38Speaker 1: I mean you ain't. You ain't at this level. So
- 42:41Speaker 1: you hauling uphill this high? Really, I don't really want
- 42:46Speaker 1: to hear you. We could take this time to address
- 42:48Speaker 1: the Cartil comment too, which is if the jacket trending,
- 42:55Speaker 1: I wanted no, no, the jacket, See Timmy, you don't
- 42:58Speaker 1: this ain't for you. Jacket hot for you? Don't it's
- 43:02Speaker 1: too big for you. You thought the jacket was too long,
- 43:05Speaker 1: You didn't get the design. You You're gonna be fine.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Here was the deal with the cardtail comment and this
- 43:11Speaker 1: way and people that's trending about this, they need to
- 43:13Speaker 1: wake up because they don't know the reality of it.
- 43:16Speaker 1: The reality of it is the reason I have twenty
- 43:19Speaker 1: four hours security at my house now is because when
- 43:22Speaker 1: I did make the mistake and say the wrong name,
- 43:25Speaker 1: I had so many death threats from that group of
- 43:30Speaker 1: people and I said that, and I can't tell you
- 43:32Speaker 1: how many articles. So when I said it on TV
- 43:35Speaker 1: that night, it wasn't nothing new. And the reason I
- 43:37Speaker 1: have security at my house today is because they were
- 43:41Speaker 1: driving by throwing notes over the gate saying who they were.

- 54:00Speaker 1: this time, let's buckle up, let's hold on tight. We
- 54:03Speaker 1: gotta for you. Strawberry letter subject, why is her husband
- 54:07Speaker 1: so insecure? Here's Stephen Dear's Stephen Shirley. I am happily
- 54:14Speaker 1: married and my wife and I have two kids. The
- 54:17Speaker 1: problem is I have a female friend from college. My
- 54:20Speaker 1: female friend is also married with two kids, and she
- 54:23Speaker 1: lives in another state. We hardly ever see each other,
- 54:27Speaker 1: but we do keep in touch. Over fifteen years ago,
- 54:30Speaker 1: she and I had sex. My wife knows we were
- 54:33Speaker 1: intimate in the past because we all went to the
- 54:36Speaker 1: same college. The other day, I was talking to my
- 54:39Speaker 1: friend on the phone. We chatted about reality TV shows.
- 54:42Speaker 1: I congratulated her on her anniversary, and we talked about
- 54:46Speaker 1: our children. We didn't talk about anything that we couldn't
- 54:49Speaker 1: discuss in front of our spouses. My wife is cool,
- 54:52Speaker 1: but she's no fool. She knows she has nothing to
- 54:55Speaker 1: worry about. My friend's husband is nuts so cool. He
- 55:00Speaker 1: got upset and called my house. He spoke to my
- 55:03Speaker 1: wife about my friendship with his wife. He was hoping
- 55:06Speaker 1: my wife would be upset, but she was not. I
- 55:09Speaker 1: think he should talk to his wife instead of calling
- 55:11Speaker 1: my house and texting me. I shouldn't have to deal
- 55:14Speaker 1: with all of the fu and f your family texas,
- 55:17Speaker 1: he sends me. I know, so I cut my friend
- 55:21Speaker 1: off completely. I changed my number and blocked her on
- 55:24Speaker 1: social media. My wife told me but that this lady
- 55:27Speaker 1: is my friend, so I should not just cut her
- 55:29Speaker 1: off like that. What do you think is cutting her
- 55:32Speaker 1: off the right thing to do. If my wife doesn't
- 55:34Speaker 1: have a problem with our friendship, why should he. I
- 55:37Speaker 1: don't understand why her husband is so upset. Is so insecure?
- 55:41Speaker 1: You know he might be insecure, but it doesn't matter
- 55:44Speaker 1: whether he's insecure or not. He has a problem with
- 55:47Speaker 1: you talking to his wife, simple as that, and that
- 55:50Speaker 1: is the bottom line. Whether your wife is okay with
- 55:53Speaker 1: it or not. He has a problem with it because
- 55:55Speaker 1: you don't know what's going on in their house. You
- 55:57Speaker 1: don't know what she's telling him. You don't know if
- 56:00Speaker 1: he knows that you guys had an intimate relationship in college,
- 56:04Speaker 1: all that is probably messing with him and he doesn't
- 56:06Speaker 1: want that to ever happen again. He doesn't like the
- 56:09Speaker 1: fact that another man is talking to his wife. You
- 56:12Speaker 1: got to give him that you did the right thing.
- 56:14Speaker 1: I'm in agreement with you. Cut it off. That's the
- 56:16Speaker 1: best thing to do. Sorry that you're friends, but she'll
- 56:19Speaker 1: have to understand that if she's truly your friend, that
- 56:21Speaker 1: it's best for her marriage, and it's best for your
- 56:23Speaker 1: marriage as well. Even though your wife is cool with it.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Just cut it off. Form a bond with your wife.
- 56:28Speaker 1: If you need to talk about TV reality shows, you
- 56:31Speaker 1: guys talk about that. Whatever you guys need to talk
- 56:33Speaker 1: about it, do it with your wife. It's just dangerous
- 56:36Speaker 1: ground when you form friendships with the opposite sex because
- 56:40Speaker 1: it can lead to other things. It doesn't always do that,
- 56:43Speaker 1: but it can lead to other things. And that's I
- 56:45Speaker 1: think what her husband is talking about. Yeah, like I said,
- 56:47Speaker 1: he may be insecure, but it really doesn't matter. Stop
- 56:50Speaker 1: talking to his wife. And you've done that, so you're,
- 56:53Speaker 1: you know, okay, sorry that you lost your friend, though, Steek,
- 56:59Speaker 1: I can't I can't believe this letter. What's wrong? Let mean, dude,
- 57:04Speaker 1: what's what's what's wrong with you? Now? Dog? Man? And man,
- 57:11Speaker 1: let's take Shelly out of this for a minute. You
- 57:12Speaker 1: should just wrote this letter. Dear Steve, she drag Shelly
- 57:18Speaker 1: into this fault. Man, we're talking about the problem between
- 57:22Speaker 1: you and another man. What you're talking to Shelly about?
- 57:26Speaker 1: This fault? What you're talking to your wife about it fault?
- 57:30Speaker 1: The problem between you and another man? Damn dog? How
- 57:35Speaker 1: old are you? You're this fifteen years ago? You're in college.
- 57:38Speaker 1: You ate to you in your late thirties, you're thirty five.
- 57:42Speaker 1: You got to be nuts. Let me tell you why
- 57:45Speaker 1: you open the ladder with I'm happily married, my wife,
- 57:48Speaker 1: we got two kids. The problem is I got a
- 57:51Speaker 1: female friend from college. Well, damn, I got a problem.
- 57:53Speaker 1: We got to alleviate the problem. My female friend is
- 57:58Speaker 1: also married with two kids. She lived another state. We
- 58:00Speaker 1: hardly get to see each other. And dog, are you
- 58:04Speaker 1: listening to yourself? We hardly ever see each other see
- 58:07Speaker 1: each other for one I'm just asking this, just a question.
- 58:10Speaker 1: What did you see each other for? What you're talking
- 58:13Speaker 1: on the phone. What you need to see each other? Fault?
- 58:15Speaker 1: But we do keep in touch. Here we go over
- 58:19Speaker 1: fifteen years ago. She and I had sex. My wife
- 58:24Speaker 1: knows we were intimate in the past because we all
- 58:28Speaker 1: went to the same college. What you're trying to tell me, though,
- 58:30Speaker 1: that the reason you had sexual hood because all y'all
- 58:32Speaker 1: went to college together. You know how many chicks I
- 58:35Speaker 1: went to college with. I wanted and I couldn't get.
- 58:39Speaker 1: So if that was the rule because we went to
- 58:40Speaker 1: college together, you know how much sex out of here?
- 58:44Speaker 1: Well we in college, Come on, man, Berndy's park Man Housing,
- 58:50Speaker 1: Little this girl in college, Man, I could go down
- 58:53Speaker 1: to the list of girls I was in little with her.
- 58:55Speaker 1: College ain't gave me the time of day, but we
- 58:58Speaker 1: was in college with cats. Now. The other day I
- 59:03Speaker 1: was talking to my friend on the phone. We chatted
- 59:05Speaker 1: about reality shows. I congratulate on Anniversity. We talked about
- 59:08Speaker 1: our children. We didn't talk about anything. We couldn't discuss
- 59:11Speaker 1: them front Housepouse. But the key to this whole thing
- 59:13Speaker 1: is We didn't talk about nothing. We can discuss them
- 59:15Speaker 1: one ouse, front housepouse, but spouse wasn't on phone. You
- 59:21Speaker 1: write anything you want this letter, but what your wife
- 59:24Speaker 1: and her husband was not on this phone call? Right,
- 59:27Speaker 1: because we're just going on what you're telling us. My
- 59:29Speaker 1: wife is cool, but she's no fool. She knows she
- 59:32Speaker 1: has nothing to worry about. My friend's husband is not
- 59:36Speaker 1: so cool. He got upset and called my house. He
- 59:40Speaker 1: spoke to my wife about my friendship with his wife.
- 59:43Speaker 1: He was hoping my wife would be upset, but she
- 59:45Speaker 1: was not. You don't understand this. See, bro, you calling
- 59:50Speaker 1: his wife? Hit figure, I can call your wife. See
- 59:55Speaker 1: once you're talking to the man wife. The man got
- 59:58Speaker 1: the right to talk to you, old wife. You see that?
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: That's all this is, this faul. I'd have seen this
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: played out a lot of time. Yeah, and the need
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: of you getting mad by dude talking to your wife.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Are you over there talking to his wife? That's how
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: this work. Now. I think he should talk to his
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: wife instead of calling my house and texting me. You're
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: lucky he whipping your ass holding right there? Better be lucky.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Were just going to texting and talking, got your ass yes,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: take us out and discuss this with such as you're
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: listening show all right, Steve, back to the Strawberry letters
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: subject why is her husband so insecure? And this was
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: written by a man. And this man then wrote in
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: here where he opened a letter, that I'm happily married,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: my wife and I got two kids. The problem is
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I have a female friend from college. Okay, we've identified
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: the problem. You know it's a problem. So now what
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: what you're writing a letter for? Bro? I mean on
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: the real man just see his business man to man.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: You out of line on this one, not now you.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: And now she's married, she got two kids, she lived
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: in another state. Y'all hardly ever see each other, but
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: we do keep in touch. Over fifteen years ago she
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: and I had set we were intermitted in the past
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: because we all went to Saint College. What I can
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: name the kicks. I went to college and we didn't
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: have sex. What was her named berneath? What beneath Paul? Okay,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: look in the severn, Bernie. I thought you were trying
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: to get me any trick. What was her name that? Hesitate? Hesitated? Hesitated?
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: But let me say this, Steve, let me ask, No,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: I ain't no ask me nothing. I can't ask you
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: a question ahead because you know a lot of people
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: there are two schools of thought of us. A lot
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: of people think that you can have a friendship with
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: a member of the opposite side. You didn't already had
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: sex with her. That ain't friends. No, fifteen years ago,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: I don't give a damn, But there was fifty years ago.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: You had sex with her. You didn't elevated the friendship
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: to somewhere else. Yeah, it is somewhere else. Since you
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: wanted it, then what's stopping you from wanting now? You
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: do remember having sex with her, don't you? Yes, because
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: you mentioned it in the letter and now to your husband.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Her husband got a problem with it. My friend husband
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: is not so cool. He got upset and called my house,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: spoke to my wife about our friendship with his wife.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: He was hoping my wife would be upset, but she
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: was not. Now listening to this part, I think he
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: should talk to his wife instead of calling my house
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: and texting me. No, no, partner, you call his wife.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: This man now has the right to call your wife.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: That's how this work. Ain't no, you can't call my
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: wife no more. But you steady calling mine hould up partner.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: That ain't how this work? He texted strong and can
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: you text it? You can't text my girl and I
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: can't text your girl. How this gonna work? He's talking
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: about this texting though, I'm surprised it's just texted. What
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: am what? He's saying, you and your family? Where's the
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: ass with me? In this left that's mixed. I'm reading
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: this matter. I don't see ass with me here nowhere, anywhere,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: because once you tell me, if me and my family
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: here comes, then we got to get to doing what
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: you're saying. I don't understand this right here. But he's
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: so damn stupid. So then he says he don't understand
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: all the F you and F your family texts. He
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: wanted you this Jesus called warning shot. Hey man, you
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: and F your family? Now that F your family means
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: you interfeld with mine? Yeah, yea. So now since you
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: don't give a damn bey him, I'm running mine over here.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: I can't possibly care how you running yours over there.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: So now here come to F you and the F
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: your family. I'm telling you, this dude is clean. The
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: dude that's insecure is clean. And you better think the
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: lord is just Texan one more time? Where's the where
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: is the ass in this letter? Because the ninety percent
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: of the men I know, I know, and maybe I
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: know the wrong type of men, but men I know.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: It's already than elevating this here looking in different cities. Yeah,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: because we're trying to find somewhere to meet right now. Yah. Now,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: so I cut my friend off complete because you know
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: why you cut him off completely, because you know you're wrong,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: because you know the man to fied the warning shot.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: So you didn't cut your friend off completely, change my
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: number in block, turn on social media that he was
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: to watch this right here. My wife told me that
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: this lady is my friend, so I should not just
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: cut off like that. What do you think your wife's
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: gonna get your ass? Yeah? And I see this is
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: why a woman have to step up and be a woman. Now, See,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: real women have to Women have a different responsibility than men.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Real women go, okay, let me keep my husband out
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: of danger. Let me keep him out of harm's way.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: That's why a lot of women don't come home with
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: news to their husband about something a man saying to him,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: or something that a man saying to him at a
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: party because she know I gotta protect my husband because
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: just because of man law, he gonna go down here
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: and do something this laby. So now this is where
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: your wife need to stop all this. I don't see
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: why you can't be her friend because she ignant too. Now,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: both of y'all, egn't ask people that's married together and
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: somebody gonna get their ass on igness, So he is
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: and his wife, okay, both of them. Now it's cutting
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: her off the right thing to do. If my wife
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: doesn't have a problem with our friendship, why should he?
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Why should he have a problem with it cause you
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: screwed his wife. The whole reason he got a problem
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: with you is because you screwed his wife. Yea, well
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: back in the day she wasn't his wife. I don't
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: give a day we find out we know who it is. Yeah.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Oh but now y'all talking, So now we automatically got
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: to wonder what he talking about? Then why are you listening?
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: All right? Well, I think we get the message. Thank you, Steve.

- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. See if you hosted the Miss Universe
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Annual pageant last night, fifth year for you live from
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta. There was some beauty
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: full as always, a beautiful, beautiful women, amazingly smart and
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: intelligent women representing ninety countries competing in multiple categories. It
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: was fun, you know what, man, I was really pulling
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: for Miss Iceland. She was very pleasant. All the girls
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: like Miss Iceland. I thought Miss Haiti was really really good.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Haiti was really really good, and my sons felt the
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: same way. My sons was going with Haiti and Iceland.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: That's what they were Miss South Africa one. It was
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: really really good. And I gotta tell y'all, man, because
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: the way they did the judging, if you notice, like
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I said earlier, it was all women judge and the pageant,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: and the focus really was on those questions and answers.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Now you had to have the poise, you know, you
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: had to walk with the poison grace. You had to
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: pull off the evening gown. You know, the swimsuit is
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: not who looks the best in the swimsuit, It's who
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: carries it in the swimsuit. It's not this is not this.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Ain't that type of deal anymore the way it used
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: to be. That's all women judging it. And there were
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: some very very sharp sisters judging that thing, man, and
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: they focused on the answers. And that's where South Africa shine.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Now the bonus side. The girl was pretty. That girl
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: was pretty, man, and she walked it. But Lord have
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: mercy when she talked, that's really where she pulled herself apart. Wow.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: And she was beautiful man. And up close that girl
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: was pretty. Man. We were so happy. I went backstage,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: took pictures with it and had to sign the inside
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: of the jacket is really good. Swimsuit was about. You know,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: if they make me go in the back one more
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: time for the swimsuit, I'm a quinn say that again.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Why the hell I got to go into back due
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: to swimsuit from the back. But I think it's best though,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: I really do. I think it's best. Yeah, we need
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: to see my face. Okay, uh we mentioned this earlier
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: time to get back to the foolishness. You know, it
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: doesn't take long on this show. Coming up at the
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: top of the hour, side piece holiday gift ideas. Yea, nothing, no, sorry, nothing,

- 1:16:19Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, you made
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: it in after a big night last night with the
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: Miss Universe pageant. So tell us what went down with
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Miss Malaysia. Well, see, people, you know I've been hearing
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: that this stuff is trending, but people don't know how
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: this works. First of all, when I was reading the
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: teleprompter and I said the Philippines, it was in reference
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: to the picture which had actually won the costume which
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: was in the silver that was Miss Philippines. The mistake
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: that got made was the lady that was standing there
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: from Malaysia asked me for the mic and said, excuse me, Steve,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: can I say something? And I handed her the mic
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: and she says, I'm not from Philippines. I'm from Malaysia. Okay,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: First of all, lady, you're not supposed to be talking.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: You're supposed to just stand here with your outfit on.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: But since you asked for the mic, I gave it
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: to him. So then since she did that, I just
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: tried to play like it was a mistake in the
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: teleprompter instead of putting her own blast and going you
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: weren't supposed to be talking, yeah, because then my next
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: reference was gonna be hurt. But she didn't let the
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: whole thing play out because there was supposed to be
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: another costume came up from a Canada that had all
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: green marijuana leaves on it, and that joke was supposed
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: to be that ain't the Canadian maple leaf. I didn't
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: know snoop dog was designed and outfits then come, you know, Timmy,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: your sense of fashion is quite different. You know they
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: don't make everything in Gi Joe fashion. When you shot
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: at and why I shot at in the Grown middlesexual, Timmy,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: they have things like this, you understand. But but we
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: could take this time to address the cartail comment too,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: which is another is the jacket trend? Come, I want
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: no the jacket? See, Timmy, you don't this ain't for you?
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: That jacket help for you? Don't it's too big for you.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: You thought the jacket was too long, you didn't get
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: the design. You You're gonna be fine. Here was the
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: deal with the cartail comment and this way, And people
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: are trending about this. They need to wake up because
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: they don't know the reality of it. The reality of
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: it is. The reason I have twenty four hours security
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: at my house now is because when I did make
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: the mistake and say the wrong name, I had so
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: many death threats from that group of people. And I've
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: said that and I can't tell you how many articles.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: So when I said it on TV that night, it
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: wasn't nothing new. And the reason I have secured in
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: my house today is because they were driving by throwing
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: notes over the gate saying who they were. And that's
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: the dumbest thing you could have did. And you're gonna
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: pay now that right there as a fact that ain't
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: got nothing to do with it, now, you know, Was
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: I joking last night? Yeah? I was joking last night.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: But if you want to trend about that, that type
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: of trending don't even bother me. It really really don't,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: because that's just the reality in my world right now.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: All right, coming up, our last break of the day
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: and some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Right after this, we'll be back at forty nine after
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you're listening to morning show. Here we go a last
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: break of the day. It's been a good day. Huh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: busy ye yeah. Getting close to Christmas, guys, getting close. Yes,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: we are all right, I'm talking about ye oh junior. Yeah,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: you know, we get to that age now. They don't
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: buy you gets no mom. Hey junior, junior, let me
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: ask you a question for the holiday. Do you have
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: somebody special man? Yes, sir, okay, yes, she's gonna get
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: you something different over here. You know, how do you
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: do well? More importantly, you're gonna get hurt something right, absolutely? Okay, good, Yes,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: it's gonna be one of them side piece. ID turn
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: your head, you need me call me. I got out,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Damn my god. All right, Steve um on that note.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Crazy thing to follow that, but it's all good. Do
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: your clothing remarks with your jacket on. Yeah, you know,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I really do understand where you're coming from. I understand.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you have that because you don't know, Steve,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: you brought the flying this baby as all it surely huh,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: I was a right, Yeah, it was a girl who
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: when I put it on, when I knew it, were
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: no doubt in my mind what was going on? And
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: you were giving us a hint already. When I asked
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: you earlier last week you said I'm going to be
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: a green cheese. You said, huh, yeah it was when
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: I put it on, I tapped it up. Yeah. So anyway, Hey,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: you know what I want to say in closing remarks today,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: I want to remind people of something. Okay, don't let
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: other people steal your joy, you know, always man, Just
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: take your positive attitude and going about your business in
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: your life. Too many times, man, you allow outside forces
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: to incorporate and to get into your mindset or your
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: day about something that really has nothing to do with you.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Stop allowing people to steal your joy. If you're in
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: a good mood today, being a good mood today, if
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: somebody comes along with some bad news and you just
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: happen to have to sit there and listen to it.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: Just when they get through giving you the bad news,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: just say, you know what, I'm gonna pray for you
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: and I bet you things, or turn around and just
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: go on about your business. Don't drink that. Don't allow
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: other people to put they trash in your trash can.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: You don't need it. See, your trash can is only
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: room for what you have to put in it. If
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: you allow other people to fill up your trash can
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: with they trash, when it's time for yours to go
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: in there, it's full and it overflows in the stays
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: sitting around you. Don't let people steal your joy. If
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: you're feeling good about something, keep on feeling good about it.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: If something has brought you joy, then keep on feeling
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: joy about it. If you've got some good news, don't
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: let nobody counter it with some other news. If you
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: know that you've done the right thing and somebody comes
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: along with a different opinion, be careful of people's opinion,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: especially when you didn't ask for it, because they're usually
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: sent by that other force to put their opinion into
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: your space to help ruin what you already had going it.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Ain't it amazing sometimes how you be going along and
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: say it and you get a call or a text
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: or something. You know, I don't know if you thought
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: of it this way, or you know, I heard what
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: you said, but I was thinking this. Don't let that
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: happen to you. What they think and what they have
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: to say shouldn't matter to you. If you've done your best,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: if you've done the right thing, if you're feeling good,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: if your spirit is feel with joy, if you're in
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: a good mood, if you're just having a wonderful day.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Don't allow anybody to come along with their opinion their
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: thought and try to change it. You have to remember
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: what's going on, and that can be from anybody. It
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: can be a phone call and text, It could be
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: on social media, it could be anywhere that's not your business.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: Remember something that I had to learn a little while back.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: It don't matter what they say, because what they say
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: don't matter. Keep on pushing, don't allow it to affect
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: your day, a positive spirit, and realize that the law
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: of attraction is always at work, even for them. Whether
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: they know it, acknowledge it, realize it, or accept it,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: the law of attraction is real. So if there's a
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: person in your life that's trying to put bad energy
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: out your way, you have the right to not accept it.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: But all they've done is brought more bad energy their way.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: You know, some people call it calm or you know,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: what goes around comes around, But actually what you put
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: out just bounces back. So if you see person getting
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: a lot of breaks, it's because they've probably given people
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: a lot of breaks. If you see a person who's
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: always being forgiven, it's probably because they've forgiven just about everybody.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: If you see a person that they're always talking about
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: but they seem to bounce back somehow, it's because they've
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: probably been in the conduit of a piece of pie
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: that has allowed people to come through them and for
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: them to bounce back. What you put out is the
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: thing that you receive most. The law of attraction is real.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Keep on smiling, keep on striving, never cease from doing good.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: God will bless you for that. Y'all have a great weekend.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: I did the Universe Popped off file. I'm on to
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: the next mission on my way to Africa, y'all. Oh
