- 0:35Speaker 1: Luxury real Estate Group is a real estate agent found
- 0:38Speaker 1: of Agents of l A real estate brokerage firm, producer,
- 0:41Speaker 1: entrepreneur and TV personality. I like that APO. Please welcome
- 0:45Speaker 1: to Money Making Conversations, Ti savt Man. Thank you for
- 0:50Speaker 1: having me on your show. And uh, I just listened
- 0:53Speaker 1: the whole part. And I need to step my game
- 0:55Speaker 1: up on my own podcast because you're killing it. I mean,
- 0:59Speaker 1: I feel like I just I scolled. So it is
- 1:01Speaker 1: it isn't an honor to be on your show. And
- 1:05Speaker 1: um ma'am, I need you ask my mentor, I staid
- 1:08Speaker 1: at this point, Man please, but thank you for that compliment.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I will be your mentor. That's why this show, because
- 1:13Speaker 1: a lot of people have asked me over the years,
- 1:15Speaker 1: you know, as an individual. And so I started money
- 1:18Speaker 1: making conversation in two and seventeen. I was doing it
- 1:20Speaker 1: on my Facebook page. I was doing on Mondays and
- 1:23Speaker 1: people will responding and I was only gonna give an hour,
- 1:26Speaker 1: and you know when people respond and want you to
- 1:27Speaker 1: respond back, and so I was sitting there for three hours.
- 1:30Speaker 1: And once I stopped managing Steve Harvey, I started to
- 1:32Speaker 1: be able to talk and start considering what I wanted
- 1:34Speaker 1: my brand to beat, and it was about providing information
- 1:38Speaker 1: and mentorship. And so that that that intro that you got.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Know that intro has been written many many years for
- 1:44Speaker 1: many celebrities. And I always feel that you are you
- 1:48Speaker 1: are a blessing to be on my show. You're providing
- 1:50Speaker 1: information to the people who listened to my show, and
- 1:53Speaker 1: I want to continue the relationship. Let you know that
- 1:55Speaker 1: coming on my show, I gotta do my homework. Tie,
- 1:58Speaker 1: So that's all that. I just did my homework, brother,
- 2:00Speaker 1: And you're special man. Man. You know It's like I
- 2:04Speaker 1: just feel like there's so much about you, and you know,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I'm doing my research about you. You know, literally, as
- 2:09Speaker 1: I'm sitting here, I'm really impressed. You know, you're Steve
- 2:11Speaker 1: Harvey's a manager, right or ex manager, and you've been
- 2:15Speaker 1: with him and he had a radio show. Were you
- 2:16Speaker 1: part of that? Well, I created radio show. We created
- 2:19Speaker 1: it in two thousand and uh in the l A.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I negotiated the largest local UH radio personality deal in
- 2:26Speaker 1: the country. Were Radio one at the time, and then
- 2:29Speaker 1: in two thousand five we would Uh. I always felt
- 2:32Speaker 1: he was that that show should be national. It always
- 2:34Speaker 1: felt that way. In two thousand and five we moved
- 2:37Speaker 1: to New York City and syndicated the show nationally and
- 2:41Speaker 1: the rest is history. You know, three three number one bestsellers.
- 2:44Speaker 1: They turned into a movie. I think like a man,
- 2:46Speaker 1: and think like a man. Think like a man too. Now,
- 2:49Speaker 1: Manager Steven A. Smith, he's one of my clients. Uh,
- 2:52Speaker 1: the most popular U sports media person in the world,
- 2:56Speaker 1: right there, Steven D. Smith. So I think what I
- 2:58Speaker 1: do is not accidental, and I think about a Yeah,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I have two emmis, uh, two emmis for television and
- 3:07Speaker 1: UH and so you know, I look at my life
- 3:09Speaker 1: and uh, you know, my book will be out in January,
- 3:13Speaker 1: and it's about not accepting average and uh, I don't.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I don't come from a family. Nobody rescue my family
- 3:19Speaker 1: and moved into a better neighborhood. Nobody told me that
- 3:22Speaker 1: that if I went to school that I would one
- 3:25Speaker 1: day become uh successful. It was just through hard work time.
- 3:28Speaker 1: And now I tried to continue to say that on
- 3:31Speaker 1: this show and everybody that meet that I am you
- 3:35Speaker 1: through hard work, through proper planning, and I would continue
- 3:38Speaker 1: to be you and you can be me now well
- 3:41Speaker 1: I separate the liners through athletics and physicality that I
- 3:45Speaker 1: will not dark like Lebrod. I will not shoot like
- 3:49Speaker 1: Steph Curry. I will not throw the ball like Deshaun Watson,
- 3:52Speaker 1: but I know I can. I can think with him,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I can compete with them mentally. And so that's the
- 3:58Speaker 1: world that a majority of all people out there can
- 4:01Speaker 1: compete in. And so when I bring individuals on the show,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I just want you to share your story, your ups
- 4:06Speaker 1: and downs, because we all have downs and I don't uh.
- 4:09Speaker 1: And sometimes when you look at Hollywood, all you see
- 4:11Speaker 1: is the magic side of a story. You know, and
- 4:13Speaker 1: you can tell a great story in thirty minutes or
- 4:14Speaker 1: twenty two minutes if it's a commercial TV or an hour.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Go see a movie in three hours, and they go
- 4:20Speaker 1: from the beginning, middle, and end. But life is not
- 4:22Speaker 1: like that. It's a journey, and my life is still
- 4:25Speaker 1: part of that process. I did a I did a
- 4:28Speaker 1: video or with Tom bill you and it went viral,
- 4:32Speaker 1: things like like and m. One of the things that
- 4:35Speaker 1: I talked about in the video was about not restricting
- 4:38Speaker 1: one's growth through their age, and it hit home with
- 4:42Speaker 1: a lot of people because I've noticed that when people
- 4:44Speaker 1: hit a certain age, especially in their fifties, they kind
- 4:46Speaker 1: of they're kind of in a race to the retirement
- 4:48Speaker 1: line and and and the feeling that something's gonna happen.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And I looked at and I looked up what you
- 4:54Speaker 1: would get when you retired Despite all the money I've
- 4:56Speaker 1: made in my life, if I retired at the age
- 4:59Speaker 1: of six or six to check our guilt, between eight
- 5:01Speaker 1: hundred dollars of allow all them all and I made
- 5:07Speaker 1: some money. Now time I made some money, that's the
- 5:10Speaker 1: check I would get, you know. So, so I'm trying
- 5:12Speaker 1: to figure out what are people racing two to retire?
- 5:16Speaker 1: If that's your pot of goal and so if that's
- 5:18Speaker 1: your pot of goal, because you've been misinformed, and you've
- 5:21Speaker 1: been misled by some some ill informed level of propaganda
- 5:25Speaker 1: people out there talking about they got, they got, somebody's
- 5:28Speaker 1: gonna take care of them, and that's not true. And
- 5:30Speaker 1: so my whole part and purpose of this show is
- 5:33Speaker 1: to provide that that negative education so you can realize
- 5:37Speaker 1: that if fifty you can still reach your dreams at sixty,
- 5:39Speaker 1: you can reach reach your dream at seventy. It don't
- 5:41Speaker 1: stop life. Life provides opportunities. So that's my tone. That's
- 5:46Speaker 1: that's the purpose of why I do money making conversations.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And when I bring an individual like you who is
- 5:50Speaker 1: different from me, who speaks different from me, who lives
- 5:53Speaker 1: a different walk of life, but we'll share similar stories
- 5:56Speaker 1: of success, similar stories of setbacks. And I just want
- 5:59Speaker 1: to let people know, who come on, who listened to
- 6:01Speaker 1: the show, that can be you. Your success story can
- 6:04Speaker 1: be motivation as long as you realize how hard this
- 6:07Speaker 1: young man is working, how committed to proper planning this
- 6:10Speaker 1: young man has. That's the story that I want to
- 6:12Speaker 1: be told on this show, and people deliver it on
- 6:15Speaker 1: the regular braceis and that's why when we sit around,
- 6:17Speaker 1: and I look at the various people who can come
- 6:19Speaker 1: on my show. I can't keep telling the same story. Rush.
- 6:25Speaker 1: You know what, I'll jump in here because I think
- 6:27Speaker 1: the most important thing for any viewer or listener out
- 6:31Speaker 1: there is to have passion and motivation, get up with
- 6:36Speaker 1: the right tone. And you know, for myself personally, you know,
- 6:40Speaker 1: I wake up every morning early and I get my
- 6:43Speaker 1: thoughts collected, and uh, I get my goals planned out,
- 6:48Speaker 1: you know, every day, every week, every month, every year.
- 6:50Speaker 1: You know, it's not just a thought, it's a dream
- 6:53Speaker 1: and a dream that I'm gonna make reality. And you know,
- 6:57Speaker 1: I think anybody has the chance to to to meet
- 7:01Speaker 1: their goals as long as they move in the right direction.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And you know, it's expectations too. You know, for myself,
- 7:09Speaker 1: you know, it's it's I'm I'm success um goal oriented.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You know, it's not really about the money. It's really
- 7:17Speaker 1: about the passion and what really drives me. And I
- 7:21Speaker 1: think anybody that wants to do anything with their life,
- 7:24Speaker 1: they have to find the right passion. That's where they're
- 7:27Speaker 1: going to be success. It's really so true what you're saying.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I always tell people's doubt about the buddy, It's about
- 7:31Speaker 1: the opportunity. You you push the opportunity and planned opportunity
- 7:34Speaker 1: and it guess what you make money. And so that
- 7:37Speaker 1: is what you're just saying. It is what I believe in,
- 7:39Speaker 1: and that's why I said that when I wanted you to.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I just want to let everybody know that when I
- 7:44Speaker 1: get up at four fifteen every day, that's a step
- 7:47Speaker 1: on Saturday and Sunday, and so I'm early because I
- 7:49Speaker 1: do collect my thoughts. People say, what are you doing.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I said, well, I get up. You know, I'm not
- 7:53Speaker 1: happy to get up. So I'm just collecting my thoughts.
- 7:55Speaker 1: And I've learned that getting up at four o'clock, four
- 7:58Speaker 1: fifteen and getting up a six is just the whole
- 8:00Speaker 1: approach to my day. So you were saying a lot
- 8:02Speaker 1: of things that I've been preaching on this podcast and
- 8:05Speaker 1: the syndicated radio network for the last couple of years,
- 8:09Speaker 1: and we've never met. Yeah, it's it's weird. But you
- 8:14Speaker 1: know what, though a lot of people have this mindset
- 8:16Speaker 1: where they think that that they'll do it in the future,
- 8:20Speaker 1: people don't have the mindset that their life's really running out.
- 8:22Speaker 1: You know, life is a gift and every day you
- 8:25Speaker 1: wake up, that's your gift, So use it to the
- 8:27Speaker 1: fullest extent. You know, even with this conversation that we're having,
- 8:30Speaker 1: you know, it's we're going to take some people out
- 8:32Speaker 1: there what it takes to actual success. You know. I
- 8:35Speaker 1: woke up early this morning, just like you. When the gym.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I'm currently on a walk right now because I want
- 8:39Speaker 1: to put that out in my my goal sheet. So
- 8:41Speaker 1: as we're we're talking, I'm walking. You know, I'm burning
- 8:44Speaker 1: some calories right because that's on my goals. And you know,
- 8:48Speaker 1: people people don't really have the mentality they think, you know,
- 8:51Speaker 1: I'll just do it tomorrow. I'll do it the next day. No,
- 8:53Speaker 1: the time is right now, don't wait. You know, if
- 8:56Speaker 1: you have something that you want to do, put it,
- 8:59Speaker 1: put it on paper, figure out how long it's gonna take,
- 9:02Speaker 1: and then you know, check around, find out who's doing
- 9:05Speaker 1: what you're doing. Do the research, just like what you've done.
- 9:07Speaker 1: You know, you've done your research. I'm embarrassed that I
- 9:10Speaker 1: haven't done all my research. I called my publicist this
- 9:12Speaker 1: morning and I said, tell me about Rashan. And then
- 9:15Speaker 1: I started looking at you, looking you up, and I mean,
- 9:17Speaker 1: you start telling me about me. I'm like, dang, okay,
- 9:19Speaker 1: you know I gotta get on my A game. I
- 9:21Speaker 1: gotta get on my A game to be like you.
- 9:23Speaker 1: But you know, I'm you know, ecstatic that we're having
- 9:27Speaker 1: this conversation because I think that, you know, I'll learn
- 9:30Speaker 1: something for you, you'll learn something from me. And you know,
- 9:33Speaker 1: I think that I'm not sure where you want to
- 9:35Speaker 1: go with everything, but this is your show. Well, first
- 9:38Speaker 1: of all, you lead the way. You're going right where
- 9:40Speaker 1: I want you to go. And secondly, we have to
- 9:41Speaker 1: end this break and we will come back and talk
- 9:43Speaker 1: more about your success stories, your your agency, the TV show,
- 9:47Speaker 1: the concept of your new production company, all those things.
- 9:50Speaker 1: When we come back with my man time walking. He
- 9:52Speaker 1: get up early. You know he don't worry about money
- 9:55Speaker 1: is not his ultimate goal. He's just the opportunity. I
- 9:57Speaker 1: think he's a a double ganger. That's matter. He's my
- 10:00Speaker 1: double ganger. How are you listening to money making conversations?
- 10:05Speaker 1: And I'm talking to Tie Savid and he's walking, he's
- 10:09Speaker 1: burning calories. And I would tell you some time, it's
- 10:11Speaker 1: really cool what you're saying, because now I'm in the stretching.
- 10:14Speaker 1: All right, that has changed my life. I was, it
- 10:16Speaker 1: was so funny. I was flying for this this from
- 10:19Speaker 1: Philadelphia nor to the Boston and it's there's a flight attendant.
- 10:24Speaker 1: She was that was the accident. And I said that.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I said, where you're from? She said South Africa? And
- 10:28Speaker 1: I said, and I spent some time in South Africa
- 10:31Speaker 1: over there, and Levin in Durban and Johannesburg, and so
- 10:33Speaker 1: I knew exactly what she was talking about. And then
- 10:35Speaker 1: and then then she came by and I told him
- 10:38Speaker 1: mental dessert because one of my hobbies ties. I'm a
- 10:41Speaker 1: award winning baker too, okay, so and so so I
- 10:47Speaker 1: said that. I said, she was asking me about the cuisine,
- 10:49Speaker 1: and I said, I don't really um so, I really
- 10:52Speaker 1: didn't find any great dessert. So she came by my
- 10:54Speaker 1: seat and and I was on my phone. I was
- 10:56Speaker 1: just going through my app or Delta app, and she
- 10:59Speaker 1: looked on and she saw the number of miles that
- 11:01Speaker 1: I've flown. It was like two million. Was two million miles?
- 11:05Speaker 1: She said? She said, She said, excuse me, h am
- 11:10Speaker 1: I seeing two million on your app? I go, yeah,
- 11:14Speaker 1: I actually use some miles. So so I say that
- 11:20Speaker 1: because my back was starting to bother me and so
- 11:24Speaker 1: and so the stretching has really helped me. In fact,
- 11:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna take a politic class. I was location and
- 11:30Speaker 1: I was bringing this up in the conversation because the
- 11:32Speaker 1: fact that you're exercising, because a lot of people leave
- 11:35Speaker 1: that part, the health part under the equation when they're
- 11:39Speaker 1: talking about planning success. How you have to your body
- 11:42Speaker 1: has to be right, your eating habits have to be right.
- 11:45Speaker 1: You know, your amount of time that you give to
- 11:47Speaker 1: yourself and your family has to be right. Otherwise your
- 11:50Speaker 1: ultimate goal can be shattered because it guess what, You
- 11:53Speaker 1: lose your health, you lose your relationship, you lose your passion.
- 11:56Speaker 1: And am I hitting any h Am I hitting the
- 11:58Speaker 1: right point when we're talking in this conversation here to absolutely,
- 12:02Speaker 1: I'm two hundred calories deep right now. I've just done.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I'm telling good, look good. Let's talk about how does
- 12:08Speaker 1: a young man create a TV show? H one? Yeah,
- 12:13Speaker 1: let's let's talk about it, you know, and I want
- 12:16Speaker 1: to talk about it very openly so people have the
- 12:18Speaker 1: opportunity to what I've done, because, if you think about it,
- 12:20Speaker 1: I'm a real stage in Los Angeles and what does
- 12:24Speaker 1: TV have to do with me? Right. So I would
- 12:28Speaker 1: say for myself, it's about relationships, knowing who does what,
- 12:33Speaker 1: and then how to use those relationships. You know, we're
- 12:35Speaker 1: playing a game of chess and you have to move
- 12:38Speaker 1: these pieces on the board in order to go go
- 12:41Speaker 1: to the next or advancement. Right. So, you know, in
- 12:45Speaker 1: my my business practice of real estate, I've met a
- 12:47Speaker 1: couple of producers, you know, and in the in the
- 12:50Speaker 1: interm of showing properties, I'm asking questions and learning about
- 12:54Speaker 1: their life and learning about their businesses and how they
- 12:57Speaker 1: can afford certain things. And you know, I'm taking I'm
- 13:00Speaker 1: taking notes, you know, just like you're taking notes on me.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I'm taking notes on you. Right, So how to use
- 13:04Speaker 1: the proper relationships and how to go into the right direction.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I knew I wanted to do a reality show, and um,
- 13:11Speaker 1: I wanted to do it on real estate. I got
- 13:13Speaker 1: turned down several times. I turned to my good friend
- 13:17Speaker 1: and client, ray J and I said, you're the king
- 13:19Speaker 1: of reality. How did someone do this? Said, We'll tell
- 13:22Speaker 1: you know. I'm a I'm an actor, you know, and
- 13:24Speaker 1: I'm getting paid to do this. I'm like, well, who's
- 13:27Speaker 1: the one that created these shows? Then I talked to
- 13:29Speaker 1: Amona Scott conversations with her as I'm showing properties and said,
- 13:33Speaker 1: how does one create TV shows and whatnot? She's busy
- 13:36Speaker 1: obviously making money, you know, and she wasn't the right fit.
- 13:39Speaker 1: So I went to somebody else. I went to a Dr.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Holly Carter, that was Usher's agent, and she she liked
- 13:45Speaker 1: the idea. We talked about it. She put me with
- 13:48Speaker 1: another producer under her production company, and magic started happening. So,
- 13:53Speaker 1: you know, we started taking things that we filmed, little
- 13:55Speaker 1: bites and sizzles that we created, and then we started
- 13:58Speaker 1: going to networks and shopping. So it's really about leveraging relationships.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Everybody has them, you know. It's so easy to find
- 14:06Speaker 1: relationships if you don't have them already. You know, you've
- 14:09Speaker 1: got resources that are free, like LinkedIn, like Instagram, Facebook,
- 14:14Speaker 1: but people do not use those free relationships or make
- 14:18Speaker 1: those connections. I don't know why. You know, anyone in
- 14:21Speaker 1: the world can do it, They just have to start
- 14:23Speaker 1: with now. Well, you know, the thing I liked about
- 14:25Speaker 1: your conversation was that you didn't stop on one though.
- 14:28Speaker 1: You didn't get frustrated because a lot of people get
- 14:30Speaker 1: you know, a lot of people get caught up with
- 14:31Speaker 1: this one idea and they're like, Okay, just and I
- 14:35Speaker 1: always tell people I've been in casting sessions and I
- 14:38Speaker 1: swear to your people coming in there. They've held on
- 14:40Speaker 1: that headshot so long. It's not it doesn't even look
- 14:42Speaker 1: like them anymore. They are they they've smoothed down the
- 14:45Speaker 1: line so much. You're going, Okay, who is this person
- 14:47Speaker 1: just walking in the room. There's a reality, there's a relationship.
- 14:50Speaker 1: And you were talking about like you you mentioned names.
- 14:52Speaker 1: There were very credible names. They just didn't work for you.
- 14:55Speaker 1: And then you would with Holly Carter, who I know
- 14:57Speaker 1: very well and UH and so and her success that
- 15:00Speaker 1: she's had lately, and you know, you go over NBC
- 15:03Speaker 1: UNI they love her okay because of her success. And
- 15:06Speaker 1: I know that she hit the wall with UH. I
- 15:08Speaker 1: think preachers l A preachers. Remember she got a lot
- 15:11Speaker 1: of uh, a lot of bad press on that in
- 15:15Speaker 1: the beginning. But that didn't stop her. She fixed it
- 15:17Speaker 1: and she moved forward and now she's working with you. Now.
- 15:20Speaker 1: When we were talking about did you want to be
- 15:22Speaker 1: on the we're talking about Love and Listens V one
- 15:25Speaker 1: show that we're talking about you. The executive producers in
- 15:27Speaker 1: one of the cast member being a cast member. What
- 15:29Speaker 1: is that done for your brand? You know, I haven't
- 15:34Speaker 1: noticed what it's done for my brand because I'm so
- 15:37Speaker 1: busy making my brand, making sure i have control over
- 15:40Speaker 1: everything I do that the TV stuff is only a plus,
- 15:43Speaker 1: but I don't. I don't rely on TV to make
- 15:46Speaker 1: my brand. I've made my brand since day one. I
- 15:48Speaker 1: mean full control. I know my marketing and I know well.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I also have my own production company that I've started
- 15:55Speaker 1: many years back, which was known as the Ghost Group.
- 15:59Speaker 1: And it's the people behind the scenes. That's why I
- 16:01Speaker 1: came up with the name of the Ghost Group. You know,
- 16:03Speaker 1: it's the ones that are making the brand without you
- 16:05Speaker 1: really knowing, you know, what what we're actually doing. So
- 16:08Speaker 1: that's how we got the attention of the network, and um,
- 16:12Speaker 1: you got Holly involved and numerous other people. But you know,
- 16:16Speaker 1: going back to your question, circling back around, you know,
- 16:18Speaker 1: what has it done for my brand? Um, it's only
- 16:21Speaker 1: endorsed it. And it's I think when I when I
- 16:24Speaker 1: first thought about the opportunity to be on TV, and
- 16:28Speaker 1: my my mindset was, you know, and I'm gonna I'm
- 16:33Speaker 1: gonna say this, and I think it's important. When I
- 16:35Speaker 1: saw that million dollar listing was worth a hundred million dollars,
- 16:40Speaker 1: I said, what are they doing? I did my research
- 16:43Speaker 1: and I said, Okay, they are cast members, they don't
- 16:47Speaker 1: don't own the show, they don't executive produce this show. However,
- 16:52Speaker 1: that's a hundred million dollar brand. So I decided that
- 16:55Speaker 1: I wanted to come up with Agents of L A
- 16:58Speaker 1: Agents of A t L, Agents of NYC. Right I wanted.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I wanted to come up with the franchise idea and
- 17:05Speaker 1: have TV back it. So my my whole concept wasn't
- 17:10Speaker 1: really to be on TV, as it was for my
- 17:13Speaker 1: company to have a media outlet for the franchise success
- 17:17Speaker 1: we're about to have. And I'm about to open next
- 17:20Speaker 1: week a Agents of A t L. And I'm flying
- 17:24Speaker 1: out there and putting the pieces to the puzzle together.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I got some billionaire backers, and I think you actually,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I think you're actually friends with one of the one
- 17:33Speaker 1: of the consultants I hired, Maryland Booker that was with
- 17:37Speaker 1: Morgan Stanley. Absolutely absolutely the work. We've already locked down
- 17:43Speaker 1: locations and yeah, just it's it's really fun. It's really
- 17:48Speaker 1: First of all, are you coming out next week. I'm
- 17:51Speaker 1: coming out the eighteenth to just to get there by lunch,
- 17:56Speaker 1: and I'll be in town because the following week I'll
- 17:59Speaker 1: be a napty the week of the twenties not being napty.
- 18:02Speaker 1: So let's, uh, let's see if we can connect while
- 18:04Speaker 1: you're in town. You know, if you're busy problem, if
- 18:06Speaker 1: you're in town, you can got some time. Let's let's
- 18:08Speaker 1: hook up, because I just like I enjoyed talking to you.
- 18:11Speaker 1: You this conversation is almost like a couple of dudes
- 18:14Speaker 1: who made at the bar and just sharing some ideas
- 18:17Speaker 1: and ideas are very similar. And guess what, We're gonna
- 18:19Speaker 1: shake hands and give each other sales phone numbers and
- 18:22Speaker 1: uh and be cool about it because of the fact
- 18:24Speaker 1: that your your your value line and the way you're
- 18:27Speaker 1: doing things is because when I when I say that,
- 18:31Speaker 1: it feels like alone. The way people have said why
- 18:33Speaker 1: are you doing that? A lot has that you know,
- 18:36Speaker 1: why why are you doing that? What's the purpose of that?
- 18:38Speaker 1: But you know your purposes. It can be done with
- 18:41Speaker 1: a lot of quality work, a lot of quality time.
- 18:44Speaker 1: And also not excepting the word no, and and and
- 18:49Speaker 1: because it's I'm passionate about it, you know, it's kind
- 18:50Speaker 1: of funny story. You know, when I was lost as
- 18:53Speaker 1: a kid. You know, I actually when I say it lost,
- 18:57Speaker 1: you know, my soul was lost. I made a lot
- 18:59Speaker 1: of money out of early age, but I didn't know
- 19:03Speaker 1: where I wanted to go in life, you know, and
- 19:05Speaker 1: people think that money is the ultimate goal. People people
- 19:08Speaker 1: don't realize what life is really about. It's not about money, okay,
- 19:12Speaker 1: because people that want money never had it before. The
- 19:14Speaker 1: money has a big responsibility. And for me, I wanted
- 19:18Speaker 1: to find out who I was, and so it was
- 19:20Speaker 1: kind of scary, you know, like I I was lost,
- 19:23Speaker 1: It was in the dark place, and I wanted to
- 19:25Speaker 1: find out where I was supposed to go. So what
- 19:27Speaker 1: I did was I went to a church and I
- 19:30Speaker 1: sat in the back of a uh you know, the
- 19:33Speaker 1: back of the way back of the church, right where
- 19:34Speaker 1: you're kind of blacked out. And the things I heard
- 19:37Speaker 1: from the minister and when he spoke about you know,
- 19:40Speaker 1: it was an hour long, but the only conversation in
- 19:43Speaker 1: my head that kept on repeating itself is what are
- 19:46Speaker 1: you passionate about? And so when I reiterate the word passion,
- 19:50Speaker 1: it changed my life. When I decided that I want
- 19:52Speaker 1: to give and not just received, but become a giver.
- 19:56Speaker 1: And that's when my blessings really started to happen because
- 19:59Speaker 1: it wasn't about anything else but to find my sole
- 20:02Speaker 1: purpose in life. And I don't ever preach religion, you know,
- 20:06Speaker 1: but for me, I've been blessed to give, you know.
- 20:09Speaker 1: And I always say be kind to everybody. It's free,
- 20:12Speaker 1: you know. And and I'm gonna continue to do well
- 20:16Speaker 1: because I know where I live my life, I know
- 20:18Speaker 1: where where I'm going, and I'm gonna continue to bless
- 20:21Speaker 1: other people and make people, you know, realize their dreams
- 20:25Speaker 1: and kind of got them. Before we wrap up here,
- 20:28Speaker 1: I want to you have a podcast. I want everybody
- 20:30Speaker 1: because I can tell you deserve to have a podcast.
- 20:32Speaker 1: You have a story to tell. I can tell the
- 20:34Speaker 1: motivational and information you've You've dropped some nuggets on this show,
- 20:37Speaker 1: and those are the type of nuggets that I want
- 20:39Speaker 1: all my guests to drop. But you on Fire to Date,
- 20:41Speaker 1: my friend, uh, you host and created a podcast All
- 20:44Speaker 1: Tied Up. Tell us about it and the why that
- 20:47Speaker 1: you created them. A lot of popular names on it
- 20:49Speaker 1: that I'm from there with. Talk to us about All
- 20:51Speaker 1: Tied up. Well, you know the in the beginning, um
- 20:55Speaker 1: the podcast was well, it seemed like the right thing
- 20:59Speaker 1: to do because I have the relationships with a ton
- 21:01Speaker 1: of celebrities, and a lot of people are so scared
- 21:04Speaker 1: to ask questions. But they don't realize that these celebrities
- 21:06Speaker 1: are just like me and you without being a celebrity.
- 21:09Speaker 1: They're just normal people that have a story. And I
- 21:11Speaker 1: was telling my publicist this morning that you know t Bos,
- 21:14Speaker 1: She's the only person I know that reaches out to
- 21:16Speaker 1: me just to see how I'm doing. No, no, no expectations,
- 21:19Speaker 1: no nothing. But people don't know her stories about having
- 21:22Speaker 1: sickle cell and the business, you know, where she where
- 21:26Speaker 1: she came from. And this is what the podcast is
- 21:28Speaker 1: really about. It's about celebrities and significant and and and
- 21:33Speaker 1: and big personality people to talk about their business, where
- 21:36Speaker 1: they came, where they came from, who they are, where
- 21:39Speaker 1: they're going, and asking the questions you know that are
- 21:42Speaker 1: are you know that that are that are going in
- 21:45Speaker 1: through your brain and my brain at the same time,
- 21:46Speaker 1: and ask him because maybe you're you don't want to
- 21:48Speaker 1: ask him, you don't want to offend them, Just ask
- 21:50Speaker 1: him a question. You know I had Tea Bass crying
- 21:52Speaker 1: on my TV show. I had a guy that you know,
- 21:55Speaker 1: his name's Mike. You know, it's caveat Gold, you know,
- 21:58Speaker 1: and he owns one of the biggest Canada's companies, and
- 21:59Speaker 1: he crying on the show talking about, you know, how
- 22:02Speaker 1: he can't give certain product away because it's illegal now,
- 22:05Speaker 1: and how he can't help cancer victims. I mean, there's
- 22:07Speaker 1: a lot of really good, you know, conversation that we
- 22:10Speaker 1: have that people need to know. And I think that,
- 22:14Speaker 1: you know, it's just um, it's it's it's a different
- 22:16Speaker 1: type of podcast because first off, I had no idea
- 22:18Speaker 1: what I was doing, but I jumped into it. You know,
- 22:20Speaker 1: I was so scared, you know, talking in front of
- 22:23Speaker 1: Mike and didn't know what I was doing and you
- 22:25Speaker 1: know how I was gonna sound. And but the thing
- 22:27Speaker 1: about it is I did it, and I think that
- 22:30Speaker 1: people are going to get a lot of good insight
- 22:32Speaker 1: information that I'm just a normal person just like them.
- 22:35Speaker 1: You know, I have the same kind of fears that
- 22:37Speaker 1: they have. I'm just living my life because I have
- 22:39Speaker 1: this dream that one day I'm going to become somebody
- 22:42Speaker 1: and discover myself and people will follow that journey with
- 22:46Speaker 1: me a man, I want to thank you for coming
- 22:49Speaker 1: on my show. I appreciate you, I really do, because
- 22:52Speaker 1: you know, this is probably the most honest show off
- 22:55Speaker 1: hand because you as you as at the very beginning,
- 22:58Speaker 1: you say, ma'm I'm finding out about you as we speak,
- 23:01Speaker 1: and that was just you know, which is really cool,
- 23:03Speaker 1: you know, because of a lot because a lot of
- 23:05Speaker 1: things in life about what I've accomplished, I pushed aside
- 23:08Speaker 1: and I just moved forward because I'm not a guy
- 23:10Speaker 1: who keeps looking at my success. I want to know
- 23:12Speaker 1: what the opportunity to present for me and how I
- 23:14Speaker 1: can change the future because that's what I'm about. I'm
- 23:16Speaker 1: about changing the future. And if you come in town
- 23:18Speaker 1: next week, man, please just drop me a call. I'll
- 23:21Speaker 1: set aside some time just say hi, quick snack, quick hug,
- 23:25Speaker 1: because I want you to be a part of my life,
- 23:27Speaker 1: my brother, I really do, just as a just as
- 23:30Speaker 1: a person that that we'll make that call to you today.
- 23:32Speaker 1: How you doing, brother, Because I have a phrase I'm
- 23:35Speaker 1: telling everybody in this is my phrase, lead with your
- 23:38Speaker 1: gifts in. That's my statement, that's my mantra, and I'm
- 23:42Speaker 1: telling everybody believe in yourself and leave you with it.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Don't let nobody question it, and you will be successful
- 23:49Speaker 1: if you have the work ethic in the plan. I
- 23:51Speaker 1: appreciate your brother, and uh, we're gonna talk soon. But
- 23:53Speaker 1: tell you people to contact my people so we can
- 23:55Speaker 1: hook up next week. Okay, thank you, Tie, thank you
