Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome. It is verdict with Centater Ted Kruz, Ben Ferguson
- 0:05Speaker 1: with you and Senator I gotta tell you, victory is sweet.
- 0:09Speaker 1: It's even more fun watching the media meltdown continue after
- 0:13Speaker 1: having to deal with the reality that not only did
- 0:16Speaker 1: Donald Trump win, we got the Senate and it's clearly
- 0:19Speaker 1: looking like we actually may make gains on the House side.
- 0:23Speaker 1: And they can't handle it. It's a total meltdown.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Look, the corporate media are losing their minds. You know,
- 0:29Speaker 2: there's a German word shoden freud, which is taking pleasure
- 0:32Speaker 2: or joy from the suffering of others. It's not a
- 0:35Speaker 2: pretty sentiment, But I gotta say, watching these hardcore leftists
- 0:40Speaker 2: just scream out in agony that the voters voted and
- 0:46Speaker 2: voted in the way they didn't like it truly is
- 0:49Speaker 2: And you know, you know what's striking their rage, their anger.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Not a one of them has actually learned a lesson.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Not a one of them has paused to say, huh huh,
- 1:00Speaker 2: maybe being radical leftists and opening up the border and
- 1:04Speaker 2: threatening people's homes and screwing up the economy and driving
- 1:07Speaker 2: up the cost of everything and screwing up the country
- 1:09Speaker 2: and bringing the world to war and undermining Israel and
- 1:12Speaker 2: creating an environment where anti Semis take over college campuses
- 1:15Speaker 2: and threaten our kids. Maybe that's a bad thing. Maybe
- 1:18Speaker 2: having moms fear for the safety of their kids is
- 1:20Speaker 2: a bad thing. None of these leftists are saying that. Instead,
- 1:23Speaker 2: they're just screaming orange Man, bad raar, And it really
- 1:28Speaker 2: is striking. Although we're going to wrap up by pointing
- 1:31Speaker 2: out the one man in America on the Democrat side
- 1:36Speaker 2: who is not sad and who was actually full of joy.
- 1:40Speaker 2: And I'm not going to tell you his name, but
- 1:43Speaker 2: it rhymes with bo Jiden.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yeah. I've never seen a bigger grin on that man,
- 1:52Speaker 1: and we'll change his name for a little bit. Ever,
- 1:55Speaker 1: I think at any point, including even on days when
- 1:58Speaker 1: he thought it was probably the best day of his life,
- 2:01Speaker 1: it's going to be quite interesting to play some of
- 2:03Speaker 1: these clips we'll have this.
- 2:04Speaker 2: So let me just say, Joe Biden understands chaden freud
- 2:07Speaker 2: as well.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I said it on election night. The only place more
- 2:12Speaker 1: happier right now than the war room we were in
- 2:15Speaker 1: was the White House and sitting there just going you
- 2:18Speaker 1: guys thought you'd be better without me? How you like me. Now, yeah,
- 2:22Speaker 1: Joe Biden grinning from ear to ear and having a
- 2:25Speaker 1: very interesting press coverference. We're going to dive into that
- 2:27Speaker 1: in a moment. I can tell you this week I
- 2:30Speaker 1: have been running on fumes. Actually I've been running on
- 2:34Speaker 1: a great cup of coffee, Blackout Coffee. Election night. I
- 2:37Speaker 1: think my monitor ring told me I got like two
- 2:41Speaker 1: hours of sleep the day before that, three the day
- 2:43Speaker 1: after about three. And thank goodness for a premium cup
- 2:48Speaker 1: of Blackout Coffee, not just the morning, but in the
- 2:50Speaker 1: afternoon and in the evenings. And if you have never
- 2:53Speaker 1: tried Blackout Coffee, I want to save you money and
- 2:56Speaker 1: I want you to try it and get the best
- 2:58Speaker 1: cup of coffee of your life.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Now.
- 3:00Speaker 1: The coffee space is filled with like woke liberal companies.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And when I said that, you probably thought instantly of
- 3:06Speaker 1: a couple of different name brands. Stop giving your mind
- 3:08Speaker 1: to them and also drinking average coffee. Get a premium
- 3:13Speaker 1: cup of coffee from Blackout Coffee. They are one hundred
- 3:16Speaker 1: percent committed to conservative values, from the sourcing of the
- 3:19Speaker 1: beans to the roasting process, customer support, shipping. They embody
- 3:23Speaker 1: true American values. And this is the other thing they
- 3:26Speaker 1: accept no compromise on taste or quality. So how do
- 3:31Speaker 1: you try blackout Coffee? Once you try them, you're not
- 3:34Speaker 1: going to switch back. Go to Blackoutcoffee dot com slash
- 3:37Speaker 1: vertict and use the coupon code verdict for twenty percent
- 3:42Speaker 1: off your first order. That's Blackoutcoffee dot com slash vertict,
- 3:47Speaker 1: be awake, not woke, Blackoutcoffee dot com slash verdict, and
- 3:52Speaker 1: you're going to get the best cup of coffee of
- 3:54Speaker 1: your life. Promo code vertict twenty percent off. All right, So, Centater,
- 3:57Speaker 1: where do you want to start? Because the media a
- 4:00Speaker 1: meltdown has just been fun to watch. I've watched more
- 4:03Speaker 1: MSNBC on purpose and see it in the last forty
- 4:07Speaker 1: eight hours than I have in a very long time because,
- 4:11Speaker 1: like you said a moment ago, they haven't learned from
- 4:14Speaker 1: this loss. They're just crying and angry over this loss.
- 4:18Speaker 1: But they didn't pay attention to American people at all.
- 4:22Speaker 2: No, not at all.
- 4:23Speaker 4: All.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Right, let's start with Morning Joe because Morning Joe is
- 4:25Speaker 2: is it's a good place to start. It's it's where
- 4:27Speaker 2: lefties start their morning. So let's start there.
- 4:30Speaker 5: I want to talk about economy for a second. A
- 4:33Speaker 5: few weeks ago. Three weeks ago, somebody who's going to
- 4:36Speaker 5: be voting for Kamala Harris came up to me and said,
- 4:40Speaker 5: oh my god, Trump's gonna win.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I go, why is that?
- 4:43Speaker 5: He goes, I just I went to the grocery store.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Butter's over three dollars.
- 4:47Speaker 5: I kind of laughed, and I said, I said, well,
- 4:50Speaker 5: that's kind of reductive, isn't it, said it to myself.
- 4:53Speaker 5: To him, I smiled, and I said, good point, But
- 4:57Speaker 5: it actually what everything we're hearing after the election.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Is seven what's on the seven dollars?
- 5:05Speaker 1: What's on butter is seven dollars?
- 5:08Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 5:10Speaker 1: What is it framed in gold?
- 5:13Speaker 4: Okay?
- 5:14Speaker 1: Anyway from where you go?
- 5:17Speaker 5: Okay, well, yeah, okay, Well anyway, My point is this, Willy,
- 5:22Speaker 5: the rent is too damn high. And this guy was saying,
- 5:25Speaker 5: the cost of butter is way down, too high, and
- 5:27Speaker 5: so I thought it was a bit reductive.
- 5:30Speaker 1: It ended up being.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Just the point that if you look at the cost
- 5:35Speaker 5: of groceries, if you look at the cost of grass,
- 5:38Speaker 5: of gas, if you look at the cost of things
- 5:41Speaker 5: compared to four years ago, it was a very simple
- 5:46Speaker 5: answer for working class Americans. Things just cost too much. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 5: no question about it. By the way, seven, I.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Mean I love how the fact there. He He's like,
- 5:55Speaker 1: oh wait, it's seven, it's seven dollars. This is the
- 5:58Speaker 1: elitism of the left. They have no idea what's happening
- 6:01Speaker 1: in real America. And Mika's like, a dude, it's not
- 6:04Speaker 1: three dollars, not four dollars, not five dollars. I six
- 6:06Speaker 1: is seven dollars for butter, and he couldn't believe it.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I'm like, if you guys would have figured out before
- 6:10Speaker 1: election day, maybe you wouldn't have suck so bad.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Okay, Ben, let me call a little BS on you.
- 6:15Speaker 2: What wait, do you have any idea how much butter costs?
- 6:19Speaker 4: Oh?
- 6:19Speaker 7: You have no idea, dude. I do a lot of
- 6:20Speaker 7: the grocery shopping, Okay, So I in Cosa Cruz. I
- 6:24Speaker 7: am not the grocery shopper, like like, I just that's
- 6:26Speaker 7: that I go. There are things that are on my plate,
- 6:29Speaker 7: things that are on Heidie's plate. I am not the
- 6:31Speaker 7: grocery shopper, although I will say tonight I went and
- 6:34Speaker 7: bought some cheddar cheese because Caroline decided to make backed
- 6:38Speaker 7: baked mac and cheese, and so she sent me out
- 6:40Speaker 7: to buy Cheddar. So I bought Cheddar, but I if
- 6:43Speaker 7: you asked me how much is butter? I would have
- 6:46Speaker 7: no idea, And so I actually googled. I'm like, all right,
- 6:49Speaker 7: three dollars seven dollars beats the hell out of me.
- 6:51Speaker 7: So I googled how much is butter? And let me
- 6:53Speaker 7: just tell you what Google said. So, unsalted butter curbside
- 6:57Speaker 7: at Target is four dollars and twenty nine cents.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Landa Lakes have stick Salted butter is four dollars and
- 7:03Speaker 2: fifty nine cents. And then some weird ass thing called
- 7:07Speaker 2: carry gold pure Irish butter. How much you think that is?
- 7:10Speaker 1: I'm and see iris Prout's next level. It tastes a
- 7:13Speaker 1: lot better. By the way, I'm gonna that stuff is legit.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna go eight nine bucks.
- 7:19Speaker 2: One hundred and thirty five dollars.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Okay, that's that's another level that I've never seen before.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Like this like coated and gold maybe that like and
- 7:26Speaker 2: by the way, dollar general butter is three dollars. Now,
- 7:32Speaker 2: this may be in Houston, I don't know, Maybe in
- 7:34Speaker 2: DC it is seven. At Kroger a land of Lake
- 7:38Speaker 2: salted buttered two pac is nine ninety nine.
- 7:42Speaker 1: So, by the way, you need to try you some
- 7:45Speaker 1: if we're talking about butter. Here, if you've never tried
- 7:47Speaker 1: carry gold butter on a bagel or toast, oh my gosh,
- 7:50Speaker 1: it is unbelievable.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I look, I am not not a terribly fancy
- 7:57Speaker 2: I'm not a cook, and I'm not a terribly fancy eater.
- 7:59Speaker 1: But do you want to know the true reason why
- 8:01Speaker 1: I do grocery shopping? Sure, it's it is maybe the
- 8:05Speaker 1: first and only time I'll ever throw my wife under
- 8:07Speaker 1: the bus on the show. It's because I know how
- 8:08Speaker 1: much money I save when I go to the grocery
- 8:10Speaker 1: store instead of her going, Because when she goes, it's
- 8:13Speaker 1: like the organic and all that stuff starts speaking to her,
- 8:16Speaker 1: and it's like, you know, chickens that were coddled for
- 8:20Speaker 1: six months before they killed. The chicken is like, you know,
- 8:23Speaker 1: eight ninety nine a pound, and I'm like, I'm going
- 8:25Speaker 1: with a three point fifty three eighty four dollars pound chicken.
- 8:28Speaker 1: So I just go for economic reasons because I save
- 8:30Speaker 1: so much money when.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I Yeah, look, I have to. When I do grocery shopping,
- 8:34Speaker 2: I either buy junk or I buy fruit. I like fruit,
- 8:37Speaker 2: so I'll go pick out fresh fruit and get you know,
- 8:39Speaker 2: grapes or cherries or nectarines. And so I'll buy fruit,
- 8:43Speaker 2: and then i'll buy junk. I'll buy things like, you know,
- 8:46Speaker 2: lunchables like the you know, remember Heidi's vegetarians. So I'll
- 8:50Speaker 2: get you know, those things like the cracker and cheese
- 8:53Speaker 2: and little piece of ham or something.
- 8:55Speaker 1: If you're bacheloring it up for everybody listening. And I
- 8:58Speaker 1: think I know the answer to that. But if your batcher,
- 9:01Speaker 1: if it's just you grocery store buying for you, what
- 9:05Speaker 1: is that? Is it a lunchible or is it? I mean,
- 9:07Speaker 1: because usually I remember can of soup. All right, So
- 9:10Speaker 1: you've been to my apartment in DC. It is literally
- 9:14Speaker 1: a bachelor kitchen. Like there's nothing in the kitchen.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I may have like some three week old leftovers with
- 9:22Speaker 2: mold growing on them. He's in three bottles of beer.
- 9:26Speaker 2: And and that's pretty much like it's just an empty
- 9:28Speaker 2: fridge and and and so here look at here at home,
- 9:33Speaker 2: I'll have tortillas with melted cheese like that. That's my
- 9:36Speaker 2: favorite late night stack is snack is take take take
- 9:40Speaker 2: a slice of cheese, throat on a tortilla, nuke it
- 9:42Speaker 2: for for a minute, roll it up and and and
- 9:44Speaker 2: that that I like, and then chunky soup.
- 9:46Speaker 1: But I'm but I am not uh are you at
- 9:49Speaker 1: least an ATV tortilla guy, because that's mandatory in our house.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Oh, I'll eat any kind of tortio mission. Tortillas are good,
- 9:56Speaker 2: like HB what like, I'm I am not a food snob.
- 10:02Speaker 2: It's actually I like good food. I just like crappy
- 10:05Speaker 2: food too. I'm like just kind of across the board.
- 10:08Speaker 1: See, my boys love it when when the wife's out
- 10:11Speaker 1: of town, because we just go to the grocery and
- 10:13Speaker 1: I might give whatever you want, and we'll buy the
- 10:15Speaker 1: frozen pizzas, and we'll buy the like like you said,
- 10:18Speaker 1: like the lunchables, whatever it is. The toaster strots might
- 10:21Speaker 1: get it all boys, Mom's gone rules are off.
- 10:25Speaker 2: So today today for breakfast last lunch, I ordered on
- 10:31Speaker 2: delivery breakfast tacos and I had a chariso egg and
- 10:34Speaker 2: cheese taco for lunch.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I love it. That's the American dream right there.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Yah, it's good stuff. But anyway, the point it is
- 10:43Speaker 2: kind of amusing the back and forth between Joe and
- 10:45Speaker 2: Mika and they're suddenly realizing, well, inflation is really bad.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Now let's go let now, let's go to the sort
- 10:52Speaker 2: of bitter, bitter angry leftists. And of course by that
- 10:56Speaker 2: I mean the view which there is. There are no
- 10:58Speaker 2: bit more bitter or no no more angry leftists. Take
- 11:01Speaker 2: a listen to the views, explain it and.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Paying the picture. They came out in all black the
- 11:05Speaker 1: day after the election, just so people know, if you
- 11:07Speaker 1: don't want some view like it was a funeral, they
- 11:09Speaker 1: were wearing all black on the view. That's it. That's rich, right.
- 11:15Speaker 2: They are rich, and and they hate they hate average Americans.
- 11:20Speaker 2: They look down on us. And here let listen, and
- 11:22Speaker 2: I'm going to prove that that statement is not not
- 11:26Speaker 2: too extreme because because you're going to see Sonny Hostin
- 11:29Speaker 2: demonstrating just how much she despises average Americans.
- 11:33Speaker 8: And finally, we talk a lot about these different demographics
- 11:36Speaker 8: and these assumptions of where they're going to go. Latinos
- 11:39Speaker 8: in Texas a district that's ninety seven percent Latino went
- 11:42Speaker 8: seventy five percentage points for Donald Trump.
- 11:45Speaker 9: Why misogyny and the no was on.
- 11:47Speaker 8: The border crisis is on their doorsteps, and they were
- 11:50Speaker 8: begging people to care about it for years.
- 11:52Speaker 4: But we need to take some less that was.
- 11:55Speaker 10: Not who was there?
- 11:57Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, it's whooping masad and sexism.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:04Speaker 2: And by the way, she's talking about South Texas, she's
- 12:06Speaker 2: talking about Hispanics and apparently, and it wasn't just Hispanic
- 12:10Speaker 2: men that we're voting for Donald Trump, it was Hispanic
- 12:13Speaker 2: women too. So apparently Hispanic women are motivated by misogyny
- 12:17Speaker 2: and sexism. They just don't like women. That's the only explanation.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Not that having eleven and a half million people invade
- 12:24Speaker 2: your state, invade your community, threaten your kids, not having
- 12:28Speaker 2: one hundred and ten thousand people die of fentonyl and
- 12:30Speaker 2: drug overdoses, none of that. No, no, no, it's just you
- 12:32Speaker 2: hate women. If you didn't vote for Kamala Harris, you've
- 12:35Speaker 2: got to just you got to say, you know what,
- 12:38Speaker 2: I'm willing for my family to be sacrificed because I
- 12:40Speaker 2: am a woke leftist. I mean, listen to the contempt
- 12:45Speaker 2: that there's no part of Sonny that's trying to say,
- 12:49Speaker 2: huh an overwhelmingly Hispanic district when overwhelmingly for Trump. And
- 12:55Speaker 2: by the way, in Texas, Trump carried Hispanics and I
- 12:58Speaker 2: carried Hispanics. I carried Hispanic State by six points, and
- 13:01Speaker 2: no part of Sonny could say, well, why is that is?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Is there maybe something about the current radical agenda of
- 13:09Speaker 2: the left that is turning people off? Nope, Nope, Apparently
- 13:12Speaker 2: everyone's just a racist and a bigot. That's the only
- 13:15Speaker 2: explanation possible.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And it didn't get any better, by the way, because
- 13:19Speaker 1: if you move from Sonny hoston, you go over to
- 13:22Speaker 1: Rachel Maddow. She took a different approach, and that was
- 13:26Speaker 1: a tirade where she basically fearmongered what this country is
- 13:33Speaker 1: turning into. It reminded me a lot of twenty sixteen,
- 13:37Speaker 1: except there's more hatred for Tharump now than there even
- 13:39Speaker 1: was in sixteen. But take a listen to MSNBC's like
- 13:44Speaker 1: obituary for America.
- 13:45Speaker 11: But now, history doesn't end, time doesn't stop. Now we
- 13:49Speaker 11: have the benefit of knowing, you know, how that's gone
- 13:52Speaker 11: in every other country that has been through a democracy
- 13:56Speaker 11: to authoritarian transition, and sadly there are a lot of
- 14:01Speaker 11: We have the benefit of seeing what's happened in those
- 14:03Speaker 11: other countries, though, and what we know is that the
- 14:05Speaker 11: more ground the authoritarian takes, the harder it is to
- 14:10Speaker 11: ever get that ground back.
- 14:13Speaker 4: And so the first order of business is to stop.
- 14:16Speaker 11: Them from taking any uncontested ground right from the outset.
- 14:19Speaker 11: When it comes to what our system of government is
- 14:22Speaker 11: and what our democracy is from other countries' experiences, that quickly,
- 14:26Speaker 11: I mean now, in the next few weeks, if not
- 14:28Speaker 11: the next few days, they are going to start pushing
- 14:32Speaker 11: to see how far the country is going to let
- 14:34Speaker 11: them go.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Without pushback, without protest. And part of this is.
- 14:39Speaker 11: Because it's just psychologically advantageous for them to do this now.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Right, They're counting on the.
- 14:46Speaker 11: Half the country that voted against them, half the country
- 14:48Speaker 11: that doesn't want to give up our system of government.
- 14:50Speaker 11: They're counting on all those tens of millions of Americans
- 14:54Speaker 11: to be despondent, to feel powerless, to check out, which
- 14:57Speaker 11: of course would mean letting them do what they want,
- 15:01Speaker 11: letting them run the table.
- 15:03Speaker 4: What they really don't.
- 15:04Speaker 11: Want is for the half the country that voted against them,
- 15:07Speaker 11: half the country that.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Wants to keep our democracy.
- 15:09Speaker 11: What they really don't want is for those tens of
- 15:12Speaker 11: millions of Americans to wake up tomorrow feeling scrappy.
- 15:15Speaker 4: As hell.
- 15:17Speaker 1: So there's your pep talk, Senator, it's there. We've got
- 15:20Speaker 1: a tyrant and a dictator, and half of America must
- 15:24Speaker 1: not be silent even though the majority of Americans and
- 15:28Speaker 1: I can't wait to throw this in liberal's faces all
- 15:31Speaker 1: the time. Donald Trump just won the popular vote too.
- 15:34Speaker 1: So the majority of Americans said Donald Trump is who
- 15:37Speaker 1: they want, not you, not Kamala Harris. And so you
- 15:41Speaker 1: need to stop acting like the majority of the country
- 15:43Speaker 1: was just disenfranchised. They were not. And the popular vote
- 15:47Speaker 1: proves that.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Ben explained something to me. I at times have trouble
- 15:51Speaker 2: understanding what passes for think processes among radical leftists. Rachel
- 15:57Speaker 2: Maddow just said, those Americans want to save our democracy
- 16:03Speaker 2: need to rage against how the damn people voted. But like, okay,
- 16:08Speaker 2: wait democracy, to quote Enigo Montoya, you keep on using
- 16:11Speaker 2: that word. I do not think it means what you
- 16:13Speaker 2: think it means. Like she's claiming to be a defender
- 16:16Speaker 2: of democracy, and her answer is screw the voters for
- 16:21Speaker 2: voting for something I don't like. And I, Rachel Mattow,
- 16:25Speaker 2: I the left, we should impose our views on you
- 16:28Speaker 2: whatever the damn voters say. It doesn't matter, we're going
- 16:32Speaker 2: to impose it. Why, Because we believe in democracy so
- 16:35Speaker 2: much we want to ignore what the voter's voted for.
- 16:39Speaker 1: This goes back to what the Democrats did in twenty sixteen,
- 16:43Speaker 1: and at least they're consistent when they don't get their way. Now,
- 16:47Speaker 1: their job, they feel like their job is to, Okay, well,
- 16:49Speaker 1: we just overthrow the well other people we have a
- 16:51Speaker 1: carer against.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Play the next play, the next Rachel mattowclip.
- 16:55Speaker 11: Then the decisive result of this election gives us not
- 16:59Speaker 11: just an answer to the question as to what Americans
- 17:01Speaker 11: want to do along those lines, it also gives us
- 17:04Speaker 11: a really big to do list as Americans. If you
- 17:07Speaker 11: are an American citizen who does not want to ashcan
- 17:11Speaker 11: the American system of government, who doesn't want a strong
- 17:14Speaker 11: man authoritarian system where the whole government is one guy
- 17:17Speaker 11: and everything else just exists to serve him. If that
- 17:20Speaker 11: is not the kind of country that you want, then
- 17:24Speaker 11: yesterday's election means you have more to do for your
- 17:27Speaker 11: country than you have ever done before, because now is
- 17:30Speaker 11: when the rubber really hits the road, right, We don't
- 17:33Speaker 11: just flip a switch and the American system of government
- 17:36Speaker 11: is gone.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Democracy is gone. It doesn't work like that.
- 17:40Speaker 11: I mean not to be boring here for a second,
- 17:43Speaker 11: but just getting very real. We now are just another
- 17:48Speaker 11: one in the list of countries that has decided to
- 17:53Speaker 11: you know, hey, what the heck, let's try the strong
- 17:56Speaker 11: man thing. Let's let democracy go. Let's put in an
- 17:59Speaker 11: all power or full guy instead.
- 18:01Speaker 4: See how it goes.
- 18:03Speaker 11: There are many more countries in the world and by
- 18:05Speaker 11: that kind of a system than there are governed by ours.
- 18:07Speaker 11: We are the only two hundred and forty eight year old,
- 18:10Speaker 11: multi racial, pluralistic democracy in the world. And shall we
- 18:14Speaker 11: keep it? A lot of our fellow Americans.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Say we shouldn't.
- 18:18Speaker 11: Now we know now, we know for sure, But a
- 18:20Speaker 11: lot of Americans, tens of millions of Americans, say we
- 18:24Speaker 11: should keep that system, which means time to fight for it.
- 18:29Speaker 11: And yes, Americans did fight for it by working on
- 18:31Speaker 11: this election, by trying to get the candidate elected who
- 18:35Speaker 11: was both the Democrat and the small d Democrat. She
- 18:39Speaker 11: didn't win the strong man candidate one instead. But now
- 18:43Speaker 11: history doesn't end.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Time doesn't stop. Now we have the.
- 18:47Speaker 11: Benefit of knowing, you know, how that's gone in every
- 18:51Speaker 11: other country that has been through a democracy. To authoritarian transition,
- 18:56Speaker 11: and sadly.
- 18:56Speaker 4: There are a lot of them.
- 18:58Speaker 11: We have the benefit of seeing what's happened in those
- 19:00Speaker 11: other countries, though, and what we know is that the
- 19:03Speaker 11: more ground the authoritarian takes, the harder it is to
- 19:08Speaker 11: ever get that ground back.
- 19:11Speaker 4: And so the first order of business.
- 19:12Speaker 11: Is to stop them from taking any uncontested ground.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Right from the outset, I mean, what else can you say?
- 19:20Speaker 1: These people are deranged at this point on the media.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Yes, so, Rachel Maddow just said that Americans just voted
- 19:26Speaker 2: to end are quote multi racial, pluralistic democracy now number one.
- 19:31Speaker 2: The fact that they voted shows they didn't vote to
- 19:35Speaker 2: end democracy. Now, technically speaking, we have a republic, not
- 19:38Speaker 2: a democracy, but it is a democratic republic. It is
- 19:41Speaker 2: a republic where the representatives are elected by the people.
- 19:43Speaker 2: And in this case, the voters not only voted for
- 19:46Speaker 2: Donald Trump, they voted for Republican senators. Not only to
- 19:49Speaker 2: give Republicans a majority in the Senate, it looks like
- 19:52Speaker 2: they voted for a majority in the House too. And
- 19:54Speaker 2: you know what the leftists hate the fact that the
- 19:56Speaker 2: people voted for a policy agenda that includes low taxes
- 20:00Speaker 2: and low regulations and lots of jobs. That include spending
- 20:03Speaker 2: restraint and inflation under control. That includes the federal government
- 20:06Speaker 2: not waging war on American energy production and driving up
- 20:09Speaker 2: costs and driving up inflation. That includes securing the damn
- 20:13Speaker 2: border and not allowing eleven and a half million people
- 20:15Speaker 2: to invade this country, not making billions of dollars for
- 20:18Speaker 2: Mexican drug cartels, not allowing children to be traffic. It
- 20:22Speaker 2: includes not losing three hundred thousand children, which is what
- 20:25Speaker 2: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris has done. And by the way,
- 20:28Speaker 2: when she's talking about you know, we just voted to
- 20:31Speaker 2: end a multi racial, pluralistic democracy. Well just a minute ago,
- 20:35Speaker 2: Sonny Houstin was saying, those damn Hispanics, how could they
- 20:38Speaker 2: vote for this. Let's be clear, it doesn't what matter
- 20:42Speaker 2: if you're a white man or Hispanic or African American.
- 20:48Speaker 2: If you don't vote the way leftists want you to,
- 20:51Speaker 2: they hate you. I'll tell you in Texas, in this
- 20:53Speaker 2: last election, I want a majority of Hispanics. I won
- 20:56Speaker 2: twenty percent of African American men in the state of Texas.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Now that were fifty percent or higher, but twenty percent
- 21:02Speaker 2: is a high water mark. And in Rachel Maddow's world.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Those people who voted for me, who voted for Donald Trump,
- 21:10Speaker 2: they don't count as African Americans. It is truly. And
- 21:15Speaker 2: let me make another point. They're going on and on
- 21:18Speaker 2: about an authoritarian. An authoritarian Donald Trump was president for
- 21:21Speaker 2: four years. He didn't do anything that was authoritarian. He
- 21:24Speaker 2: followed the law. By the way, the reason we're going
- 21:26Speaker 2: to get good laws passed is we didn't just elect Trump.
- 21:29Speaker 2: We elected a Republican Senate in a Republican House. So
- 21:32Speaker 2: the democratic system worked and people said, we don't like
- 21:34Speaker 2: your policies, we're going to switch back to the ones
- 21:36Speaker 2: we like. And the administration that has been dictatorial has
- 21:42Speaker 2: been Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. You want to talk
- 21:43Speaker 2: about authoritarian, Having a president say I'm going to defy
- 21:48Speaker 2: federal immigration laws and just let people go. That's authoritarian.
- 21:52Speaker 2: It's lawless. Having an administration say I'm going to give
- 21:55Speaker 2: away a trillion dollars and a student loan giveaway that
- 21:58Speaker 2: is totally contrary to federal law to be struck down
- 22:01Speaker 2: by the Supreme Court. That is authoritarian. Having an administration
- 22:05Speaker 2: issue an edict you must get a COVID vaccine, or
- 22:09Speaker 2: we will fire you. We will fire you from the military,
- 22:11Speaker 2: will fire you from the federal government, will force your
- 22:13Speaker 2: private employer to fire you. We don't care if you
- 22:16Speaker 2: want to choose to get this vaccine or not. We
- 22:18Speaker 2: will force it on you. By the way, that was
- 22:20Speaker 2: struck down by the Supreme Court as well. You know
- 22:22Speaker 2: what you call all that authoritarian and the leftist. They
- 22:26Speaker 2: never acknowledge a moment of that. And let me be clear,
- 22:29Speaker 2: let's go back to the view. So as you know,
- 22:31Speaker 2: I've been on the view three times with my last
- 22:36Speaker 2: several books. You know, the last book I wrote, Unwoke,
- 22:39Speaker 2: the view said nope, we won't have you on because
- 22:41Speaker 2: it went so badly for them, because they can only
- 22:44Speaker 2: sit there and lie when they don't actually face facts
- 22:48Speaker 2: to the contrary. And so they want to live in
- 22:52Speaker 2: an utterly fact free environment where they can lie to
- 22:55Speaker 2: the American people.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Yeah, they do it well. They do it well every day.
- 22:59Speaker 1: And proof of it is they've been acting since election day,
- 23:02Speaker 1: which I think is the most surprising. But also for me,
- 23:05Speaker 1: part of me just says, I'm kind of glad they
- 23:07Speaker 1: don't get it. It's going to make it easier for us.
- 23:09Speaker 1: To win elections and move forward, because it seems like
- 23:12Speaker 1: they refused to admit when they lost, why they lost,
- 23:16Speaker 1: and how they lost, and they didn't listen to the
- 23:18Speaker 1: American people.
- 23:19Speaker 2: All right, go back to the view play the next
- 23:21Speaker 2: clip from Sonny again.
- 23:23Speaker 9: And I'm profoundly disturbed that the fourteenth Amendment of the
- 23:26Speaker 9: Constitution did not prevent someone who participated in an insurrection
- 23:32Speaker 9: from becoming president of the United States.
- 23:34Speaker 4: I think that going.
- 23:36Speaker 9: Forward, the convicted felon box unemployment applications better be taken off,
- 23:40Speaker 9: because if you can be the president of the United States,
- 23:43Speaker 9: they need should not be prevented from employment in this country.
- 23:47Speaker 9: Because I remember applying for my jobs as a federal
- 23:51Speaker 9: prosecutor and there was a box for convicted felons. Well,
- 23:54Speaker 9: and so that box better better be taken off. And
- 23:57Speaker 9: I think our healthcare system is now at risk. I
- 24:00Speaker 9: think no caloride for anyone. Yeah, economists have made clear
- 24:05Speaker 9: that he's going to increase the debt by seven point
- 24:08Speaker 9: seventy five trillion dollars. I'm worried about mass deportation and
- 24:13Speaker 9: internment camps. And I'm also worried about Elon Musk warning
- 24:16Speaker 9: Americans to prepare for temporary hardship.
- 24:20Speaker 2: All right, so let's break several things down. First of all, saying,
- 24:24Speaker 2: take the felon box off off of the job application.
- 24:29Speaker 2: You know, the irony is, there's only one reason that
- 24:31Speaker 2: Trump is a convicted felon, because her party, the radical
- 24:34Speaker 2: left Democrats, abuse the justice system to go after and
- 24:37Speaker 2: try to subvert democracy. By the way, one of the
- 24:40Speaker 2: great things the Department of Justice is dismissing all those
- 24:43Speaker 2: cases because now that he's won, the DOJ has a
- 24:45Speaker 2: long standing rule that it won't prosecute and can't prosecute
- 24:48Speaker 2: a sitting president, and it looks like all these cases
- 24:50Speaker 2: are going to be thrown out. So understand, the only
- 24:52Speaker 2: reason they can call him a convicted felon is because
- 24:55Speaker 2: they were a bunch of authoritarian zealots who abused the
- 24:58Speaker 2: justice system to try to stop the voters from doing
- 25:01Speaker 2: what they just did on Tuesday. And then her comment,
- 25:05Speaker 2: I'm worried about mass deportation and in tournament camps. Let's
- 25:08Speaker 2: break that down one piece at a time. Mass deportation, well,
- 25:12Speaker 2: you know what she should worry about that if you're
- 25:14Speaker 2: a drug trafficker, if you're a human trafficker, if you're
- 25:16Speaker 2: a felon, if you're a murderer, if you're a rapist,
- 25:18Speaker 2: We're going to find you. We're going to arrest you,
- 25:19Speaker 2: We're going to get you out of this country. You're
- 25:21Speaker 2: going to be deported. And I'm sorry, Sonny, that you
- 25:23Speaker 2: are lamenting it, but I also feel confident that you
- 25:26Speaker 2: have armed security protecting you at all time, and you're
- 25:28Speaker 2: not worried about Venezuelan and gangs taking over your apartment
- 25:30Speaker 2: building because you don't actually live in an apartment building.
- 25:33Speaker 2: The rest of America is going to feel a lot
- 25:34Speaker 2: happier when we're deporting violent criminals that your party let
- 25:38Speaker 2: in and then in tournament camps. And let's break it
- 25:41Speaker 2: into a couple of pieces. Number one Benjamin History quiz
- 25:46Speaker 2: which president of the United States set up internment camps.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I'm going to go with a Democrat? Is it a
- 25:52Speaker 1: final answer? Can I put that in my jeopardy with
- 25:54Speaker 1: all my money on it?
- 25:55Speaker 2: Not only a Democrat, but the granddaddy of them all,
- 26:00Speaker 2: a lion of the left, FDR Franklin Delan R. Roosevelt,
- 26:03Speaker 2: who I'm pretty sure on the view if they reference
- 26:06Speaker 2: FDR that they require Gregorian monks in the banks. Back
- 26:09Speaker 2: to saying, ah, of course they don't believe in monks either,
- 26:12Speaker 2: so they wouldn't let that happen. But FDR set up
- 26:16Speaker 2: internment camps for Japanese citizens, wildly on constitutional, wildly illegally illegal.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Thankfully we now recognize that as a grotesque abuse. But
- 26:26Speaker 2: that's never been done by a Republican Donald Trump was president.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Were there any internment camps? No, but it doesn't stop
- 26:32Speaker 2: the left from their fever dream. And by the way,
- 26:35Speaker 2: you know, what she really means is internment camps. She
- 26:38Speaker 2: means detention facilities for illegal immigrants, which she'll call to
- 26:41Speaker 2: tournament camps. And to be clear, Kamala Harris promised when
- 26:44Speaker 2: she was running for president that on her first day
- 26:47Speaker 2: she would shut down all the ice attention camps. So
- 26:49Speaker 2: a detention camp for someone who enters the country illegally
- 26:53Speaker 2: is not an internment camp. What's the difference?
- 26:55Speaker 3: All Right?
- 26:56Speaker 2: This is where hopefully verdict does some good. If you
- 27:00Speaker 2: have a murderer and you convict him of murder and
- 27:03Speaker 2: you send him to jail, is the jail and internment camp? No?
- 27:07Speaker 2: Why because he's been convicted of a crime. If someone
- 27:11Speaker 2: crosses into this country illegally and they are detained, and
- 27:13Speaker 2: they're detained a detention facility. Is that an internment camp?
- 27:16Speaker 6: No?
- 27:17Speaker 1: Why?
- 27:18Speaker 2: Because the law provides you can't cross any illegally and
- 27:20Speaker 2: you can be detained for doing so while your deportation
- 27:23Speaker 2: proceedings are pending. An internment camp. What FDR did is
- 27:27Speaker 2: he rounded up Japanese citizens who had not broken any law.
- 27:30Speaker 2: They were American citizens of Japanese descent, so they were
- 27:34Speaker 2: law abiding Americans living their life. And FDR said, if
- 27:37Speaker 2: you're of Japanese descent, we're going to arrest you and
- 27:40Speaker 2: throw you in a camp simply because you're Japanese and
- 27:43Speaker 2: we're in World War two and we're at war with Japan.
- 27:46Speaker 2: That was grotesquely bigoted, and it was directly contrary to
- 27:50Speaker 2: the constitution. You can't arrest someone who's a law abiding
- 27:54Speaker 2: American citizen who hadn't broken the law. But of course,
- 27:58Speaker 2: on the view everything I just said, they don't have
- 28:00Speaker 2: anyone who says that. Instead, they just nod vapidly and said, yes,
- 28:03Speaker 2: he's an authoritarian. It's terrible, and they ignore that their
- 28:06Speaker 2: party is the one who has been engaged in authoritarian lawlessness.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I want to talk to you real quick about our
- 28:12Speaker 1: friends over IFCJ and the incredible work that they're doing
- 28:16Speaker 1: for the people that are hurting in Israel. This past year,
- 28:19Speaker 1: not only have we seen the war rage on in
- 28:22Speaker 1: the Holy Land, but we've also seen an alarming rise
- 28:25Speaker 1: in anti Semitism. Some of it have been playing out
- 28:28Speaker 1: in this presidential election. And that's why I am proud
- 28:33Speaker 1: of the partnership with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
- 28:37Speaker 1: They've been building bridges between Christians and Jews for over
- 28:40Speaker 1: forty years and since that time they've been on the
- 28:43Speaker 1: ground helping the vulnerable and providing security for Jews in
- 28:46Speaker 1: both Israel and also Ukraine. Thank you for your support
- 28:50Speaker 1: during this critical time, because your gifts have helped the
- 28:53Speaker 1: Fellowship provide on only food and necessities, but also security
- 28:59Speaker 1: for those most in standing with Israel and the Jewish people.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Has never meant so much. And if you have not
- 29:06Speaker 1: gotten involved with IFCJ, I want you to find out
- 29:09Speaker 1: more by going to support IFCJ dot org. You can
- 29:14Speaker 1: learn more and make a gift right now. Many of
- 29:18Speaker 1: the armored ambulances and temporary bunkers that have been put
- 29:22Speaker 1: up have been built and given those military those armed
- 29:26Speaker 1: vehicles by members of the IFCJ. So if you want
- 29:30Speaker 1: to know that you're making a difference no matter what
- 29:32Speaker 1: you give, look at what they do at IFCJ. Go
- 29:35Speaker 1: to support IFCJ dot org to learn more and make
- 29:38Speaker 1: a gift that SUPPORTIFCJ dot org altogether, or you can
- 29:43Speaker 1: call them eight a eight four eight eight IFCJ. That's
- 29:48Speaker 1: eight eight eight four eight eight IFCJ eight at eight
- 29:53Speaker 1: four eight eight four three two five Senater. One other
- 29:57Speaker 1: thing that I also thought was really shocking, just of
- 30:00Speaker 1: the takeaway is look, whether I'm on a campaign that
- 30:04Speaker 1: wins or a campaign that loses. One thing I've always
- 30:08Speaker 1: learned early on in my career is you better take notes.
- 30:14Speaker 1: And the notes can be Hey, we won, but what
- 30:16Speaker 1: can we do better next time? What did we mess
- 30:18Speaker 1: up that we don't want to make the same mistakes.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I keep a notebook. I have a notebook of every
- 30:24Speaker 1: campaign I've been involved in, and I go back through
- 30:27Speaker 1: it during campaign season and read it because you learn
- 30:30Speaker 1: from your mistakes when you win, and you learn from
- 30:32Speaker 1: your mistakes when you lose. There seems to be no
- 30:35Speaker 1: self awareness here at all from the Democratic Party in
- 30:39Speaker 1: general over this loss, and this loss was big. You
- 30:43Speaker 1: look at California and how many people voted actually for
- 30:47Speaker 1: concerts there at numbers that were historic in some areas.
- 30:50Speaker 1: New York, look at the numbers there historic in some areas. You,
- 30:55Speaker 1: for example, having an almost ten point margin of victory
- 30:58Speaker 1: over a can it they pump money in the state.
- 31:01Speaker 1: It was a good old Texas ass whooping. As I
- 31:04Speaker 1: described it on Fox Business Channel earlier, that there seems
- 31:08Speaker 1: to be no self awareness at all, and is that
- 31:11Speaker 1: going to be their downfall moving forward? I kind of
- 31:14Speaker 1: hope it is. Yeah.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Look, unfortunately, I wish some Democrats would recognize we've gotten
- 31:19Speaker 2: to extreme. Let's adjust, let's let's move towards the middle,
- 31:22Speaker 2: let's find common ground that would be good for America.
- 31:24Speaker 2: I don't think they're there yet. I think it is
- 31:27Speaker 2: going to take a couple more as you put a
- 31:31Speaker 2: good old fashioned ass whippings to let them change. And
- 31:35Speaker 2: you mentioned California. Listen, California is going to play a
- 31:38Speaker 2: pivotal role in ensuring that Republicans have the majority in
- 31:41Speaker 2: the House Representatives, and yet California Democrats are I want
- 31:44Speaker 2: you to listen to Eric Swalwell, who you know. I mean,
- 31:47Speaker 2: he really liked the folks on the view. He's just
- 31:50Speaker 2: kind of a hard, angry leftist. But I want you
- 31:52Speaker 2: to listen to his analysis of why the Democrats lost.
- 31:57Speaker 3: People resent when you talk to them like you're trying
- 31:59Speaker 3: to win a Harvard Law School mood court competition, as
- 32:03Speaker 3: opposed to just you know, talking to somebody.
- 32:06Speaker 2: At a bar or at the bus stop.
- 32:08Speaker 3: And I think we would be better served if we
- 32:11Speaker 3: led with our personality rather than policy. And our personalities
- 32:15Speaker 3: can reflect our values, our principles, what we care about.
- 32:19Speaker 3: But too often we're just not plain spoken enough and frankly,
- 32:24Speaker 3: we're too nice and too modest, and we stand on virtue.
- 32:28Speaker 1: I mean, basically, if you didn't vote for us, you're
- 32:32Speaker 1: all a bunch of deplorables, garbage Nazis. We hate you
- 32:38Speaker 1: all and you're stupid.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I've got to say when Eric Swalwell's diagnosis of
- 32:44Speaker 2: the problem of Democrats is that they're quote too nice,
- 32:48Speaker 2: too modest, and stand on virtue like that truly is
- 32:53Speaker 2: disconnected from reality. This is while Kamala Harris is screaming
- 32:56Speaker 2: Trump is hitler, this is we left us on TV
- 32:59Speaker 2: are saying he's authority is going to set up in
- 33:01Speaker 2: tournament camps. This is wal Joe Biden is calling the
- 33:04Speaker 2: people who voted for Trump garbage. This is while Mark
- 33:09Speaker 2: Cuban is insulting every woman who voted for Donald Trump.
- 33:12Speaker 2: And I love how he said, well, our problem is
- 33:16Speaker 2: we're trying to win a Harvard moot court. Well, Eric,
- 33:19Speaker 2: one of us has actually been in Harvard moot courts,
- 33:22Speaker 2: and one of us has won arguments before. And I
- 33:24Speaker 2: will tell you Kamala Harris has many problems, but being
- 33:27Speaker 2: too much of an effective advocate in a Harvard moot
- 33:30Speaker 2: court that ain't one of them. That's not Kamala's problem,
- 33:33Speaker 2: I can assure you. And in fact, the word salad
- 33:37Speaker 2: that was the special of the day from Kamala Harris.
- 33:39Speaker 2: The reason she told the word salad is because your
- 33:43Speaker 2: policies are indefensible. And my favorite part of that clip
- 33:46Speaker 2: with Swalwell is he said, well, maybe we should stop
- 33:50Speaker 2: talking about policies and just lead with our personalities. And
- 33:53Speaker 2: I get it. If your policies are complete garbage, if
- 33:56Speaker 2: their failures, if they don't work for the American people,
- 33:59Speaker 2: what else do you you have other than to try
- 34:01Speaker 2: to like Woo people with a bunch of smoke and
- 34:04Speaker 2: mirrors and distraction. But no aspect of what he said
- 34:09Speaker 2: there is any reflection of, gosh, maybe we got too
- 34:15Speaker 2: extreme now. Instead he's saying we need to be even
- 34:19Speaker 2: more extreme. And I gotta tell you, unfortunately, there're gonna
- 34:23Speaker 2: be more than a few leftists who react just like that.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Even late night comedy, they were not funny, Stephen Colbert.
- 34:29Speaker 1: He was angry and just frustrated. And here's what he
- 34:34Speaker 1: said to America.
- 34:35Speaker 10: I'm your host, Stephen Colbert. Well, well it happened again.
- 34:50Speaker 12: After a bizarre and vicious campaign fueled by a desperate
- 34:53Speaker 12: need not to go to jail, Donald Trump has won
- 34:55Speaker 12: the twenty twenty four election. Indep It's almost like you
- 35:02Speaker 12: rehearse that. The deep shock and sense of loss is enormous. Okay,
- 35:08Speaker 12: but let's look at the bright side. This way, at
- 35:10Speaker 12: least there'll be a peaceful transfer of power. Mike Pants, Ali,
- 35:14Speaker 12: Ali Oxen free. All day yesterday I was walking around
- 35:18Speaker 12: proudly wearing my eye voted sticker. Today I wore my
- 35:22Speaker 12: I am questioning my fundamental belief in the goodness of
- 35:24Speaker 12: humanity sticker. Yeah, they give those out, They give those out,
- 35:29Speaker 12: yeah at the Bakesdale right outside. Now, as a late
- 35:34Speaker 12: night host, people will often say to me, come on,
- 35:37Speaker 12: part of you has gotta want Trump to win because
- 35:40Speaker 12: he gives you so much material to work with.
- 35:43Speaker 10: No, no, no, one.
- 35:46Speaker 12: Tells the guy who cleans the bathroom, Wow, you must
- 35:49Speaker 12: love it when someone has explosive diarrhea. There's so much
- 35:52Speaker 12: material for you to work with.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Come on, now, do you understand that?
- 35:59Speaker 5: Not good?
- 36:00Speaker 2: I wish you wish.
- 36:02Speaker 4: So many of us wish this.
- 36:03Speaker 12: Hadn't happened, But that is not for us to decide.
- 36:06Speaker 4: This is a democracy.
- 36:08Speaker 12: That's democracy with a capital duh. And in this democracy,
- 36:13Speaker 12: the majority has spoken and they said they don't care
- 36:16Speaker 12: that much about democracy. And I want to take a
- 36:19Speaker 12: moment to congratulate Kamala Harris on Tim Walls on running
- 36:23Speaker 12: an amazing one hundred and seven days came, well, come.
- 36:27Speaker 1: On, that was extraordinary, right out of the great His
- 36:32Speaker 1: definition of extraordinary and mind center are very different. But
- 36:35Speaker 1: I do think there's a bigger point.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Actually, to be fair, though you would agree their campaign
- 36:39Speaker 2: was extraordinary.
- 36:40Speaker 1: It was extraordinary. Is extraordinarily bad and thank them for
- 36:43Speaker 1: doing it? That's true, Yes, it was extraordinary on that front.
- 36:47Speaker 2: But see there's common ground you and Stephen Colbert on
- 36:49Speaker 2: the same page.
- 36:50Speaker 5: Ha ha ha.
- 36:51Speaker 2: That's very true. So there's a bigger theme here. By
- 36:55Speaker 2: the way, tell me Ben it likes Stephen Colbert. Have
- 36:58Speaker 2: you ever dressed up as a giant COVID vaccinations shout
- 37:01Speaker 2: and danced around publicly?
- 37:03Speaker 1: Yeah? No, never gonna happen. Never gonna happen. But this
- 37:07Speaker 1: is the part that I grint about. I feel like
- 37:10Speaker 1: we've actually broken the media now. And I got to
- 37:14Speaker 1: give some credit on Musk for doing this when he
- 37:15Speaker 1: bought X and it started to change things and people
- 37:18Speaker 1: were actually able to get their views out there and
- 37:20Speaker 1: not be silenced and censored the way that they were before.
- 37:24Speaker 1: And what I think has happened now is if you
- 37:27Speaker 1: are a conservative, even a moderate, being talked to by
- 37:32Speaker 1: late night television in this way is the reason why
- 37:37Speaker 1: I think they're actually putting themselves into irrelevancy.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, one of the things striking you look at
- 37:43Speaker 2: Colbert when he's like complaining about the election result in
- 37:47Speaker 2: all of his crowd is cheering with him. It's clear
- 37:49Speaker 2: only leftists go to Stephen Colbert. Only leftists watch when's
- 37:53Speaker 2: the last time you watch Steven Colbert, Just seriously.
- 37:56Speaker 1: I'm not kidding. Years years to love watching Leno and Letterman.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Yeah, Leonard, Leonard Letterman. I would watch all the time
- 38:04Speaker 2: Letterman's Top ten list and a real shift in late
- 38:09Speaker 2: I like comedy. I like late night comedy. I watch comedies.
- 38:12Speaker 2: I've grown up on SNL. I like good comedy. And
- 38:16Speaker 2: by the way, I laugh at comedy making fun of Republicans.
- 38:19Speaker 2: There's plenty to make fun of Republicans if you have
- 38:20Speaker 2: a good comedian. They ought to make fun of everybody.
- 38:23Speaker 2: And I mean there's a lot to laugh at. And
- 38:25Speaker 2: in the age of Trump, late night comics are just
- 38:29Speaker 2: so consumed that they just give partisan rants. And by
- 38:33Speaker 2: the way, one of the big shifts. So a decade ago,
- 38:36Speaker 2: it was a regular part of politics to go on
- 38:38Speaker 2: late night shows. I've been on Stephen Colbert, I've been
- 38:40Speaker 2: on Jimmy Kimmel, I've been on Fallon, I've been on Leno.
- 38:43Speaker 2: It used to be a regular part. When is the
- 38:45Speaker 2: last time you saw any Republican on late night shows?
- 38:51Speaker 1: We're not welcome if you're a fake Republican, if you're
- 38:54Speaker 1: a kids.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, no, no, if you're but an actual Republican,
- 38:59Speaker 2: the they simply do not have them on, and as
- 39:03Speaker 2: a result, they're infinitely less funny. And by the way,
- 39:06Speaker 2: A Sinel did the same thing with Kamala Harris and
- 39:08Speaker 2: Tim Kaine. They had both of them on, but not
- 39:10Speaker 2: not their Republican opponents, and then they got in trouble
- 39:12Speaker 2: with the FCC because they were violating federal law. And all.
- 39:17Speaker 2: All right, Colbert is one thing, but I want you
- 39:19Speaker 2: to listen to Jimmy Kimmel because again, I know Kimmel,
- 39:21Speaker 2: I've you know.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Good old Texas and we're talking about as women's earlier.
- 39:26Speaker 1: You gave him a good old Texas ass whoop when
- 39:28Speaker 1: you were not that long ago, when you guys played
- 39:31Speaker 1: basketball against each other. Let's just make sure we remember,
- 39:34Speaker 1: remind the audience of that.
- 39:35Speaker 2: I will never forget, so so play Kimmel that this
- 39:41Speaker 2: is his comedy monologue.
- 39:43Speaker 4: Let's be honest.
- 39:44Speaker 6: It was a terrible night last night. It was a
- 39:46Speaker 6: terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of
- 39:50Speaker 6: thousands of hard working immigrants who make this country go.
- 39:55Speaker 4: For healthcare, for.
- 39:57Speaker 6: Our climate, for scran for journalism, for justice.
- 40:04Speaker 10: For free speech.
- 40:05Speaker 6: It was a terrible night for poor people, for the
- 40:07Speaker 6: middle class, for seniors who rely on social security, for
- 40:11Speaker 6: our allies in Ukraine, for NATO, or your truth.
- 40:18Speaker 1: He's crying, and half of what he said, by the way,
- 40:22Speaker 1: is just more than it.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Was a terrible night for free speech, Like that's just hysterical.
- 40:28Speaker 2: His side are the censoring. We will silence you, we
- 40:31Speaker 2: will control you, we will ban you. You know, it
- 40:35Speaker 2: was like everything he said, it was a terrible night
- 40:39Speaker 2: for women. Now, to be clear, this is the same
- 40:41Speaker 2: Jimmy Kimmel that used to co host The Man Show
- 40:43Speaker 2: and he would have women in bikinis jumping up on trampolines.
- 40:46Speaker 2: So he's not exactly on the vanguard of women's rights.
- 40:51Speaker 2: But Jimmy Kimmel no longer is a comedian. He's just
- 40:54Speaker 2: an angry leftist. He's not quite as woke as Steven Colbert,
- 41:00Speaker 2: but he's like one to one thousandth away. And you
- 41:05Speaker 2: know what, as a result, it's just not funny. And
- 41:07Speaker 2: so I will say this. You mentioned my playing hoops
- 41:11Speaker 2: with him, so back in twenty eighteen, I challenged him
- 41:14Speaker 2: to one on one basketball. We played. It was terrible,
- 41:17Speaker 2: terrible basketball. As ESPN broadcasted that night. If doctor Nasmith
- 41:23Speaker 2: had seen what happened here today, he would have invented
- 41:26Speaker 2: a different sport. But at the end of the day,
- 41:29Speaker 2: my terrible basketball was slightly better than his terrible basketball,
- 41:33Speaker 2: and I won eleven to nine, which forever and ever
- 41:36Speaker 2: will be an ass kicking that Jimmy Kimmel has to
- 41:39Speaker 2: live with. And as a result of it, I've lived
- 41:41Speaker 2: free in his head for the last six years. And
- 41:43Speaker 2: so he about once a month goes on a rant
- 41:46Speaker 2: attacking me, and in fact, like when my last book
- 41:50Speaker 2: on Woke came out, he hired a drag queen to
- 41:54Speaker 2: read excerpts of my book to five year olds, which
- 41:58Speaker 2: was kind of bizarre, but I thanked him for helping
- 42:00Speaker 2: me sell copies of the book. And then my standard
- 42:03Speaker 2: response whenever he lashes out is I have a video
- 42:07Speaker 2: that we've compiled that we call Buckets and Blocks, and
- 42:10Speaker 2: it consists of nothing but shots of me scoring on
- 42:12Speaker 2: him and shots of me just swatting his shot back
- 42:16Speaker 2: and actually fouling the hell out of him a whole lot.
- 42:19Speaker 2: And so that's my response every time, is gush, Jimmy,
- 42:21Speaker 2: you seem angry, but it's really a shame that you're
- 42:24Speaker 2: gonna have to live with that loss forever.
- 42:26Speaker 1: You know. One of the things it's also interesting about
- 42:28Speaker 1: this conversation is the fact that Democrats who said, well,
- 42:33Speaker 1: you know, we were trying to save democracy were screwed.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Now we got a dictator of tyrant coming in are
- 42:39Speaker 1: actually the ones acting like that. Governor Newsom has already
- 42:43Speaker 1: come out saying, I'm calling a special session to prep
- 42:47Speaker 1: the battle against incoming Trump administration, calling it a special
- 42:52Speaker 1: legislative session focus on potential state litigation against the Trump
- 42:57Speaker 1: administration ever, issues that could to impact his state.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Look, they're going to resist on every front. They're going
- 43:05Speaker 2: to fight because why because they hate democracy. That's the irony.
- 43:10Speaker 2: They talk about democracy constantly, But what they mean of
- 43:13Speaker 2: democracy is we will force you to obey us whether
- 43:16Speaker 2: or not the voters want it. They don't actually want democracy.
- 43:18Speaker 2: If they want a democracy, they wouldn't have prosecuted Trump
- 43:20Speaker 2: four different times because they would have trusted the voters.
- 43:22Speaker 2: They like power, and they mask their lust for power
- 43:27Speaker 2: in calling it democracy. But I gotta say there's at
- 43:30Speaker 2: least one Democrat right now who is celebrating, who is
- 43:33Speaker 2: smiling ear to ear, who may well be the happiest
- 43:37Speaker 2: man in the world, and that would be Joseph Robinette Biden.
- 43:42Speaker 2: He is joyful. And I'm going to wager you twenty
- 43:45Speaker 2: bucks that Joe Biden and Jill Biden they both pulled
- 43:49Speaker 2: the lever for Donald Trump when they voted on Tuesday.
- 43:53Speaker 1: It wouldn't surprise me because if you go back to
- 43:56Speaker 1: this coup, and to quickly remind people it was it
- 44:00Speaker 1: was the Democratic mafia and the fam the five families.
- 44:04Speaker 1: It was the Shumer, Pelosi, Obama Clinton's that were in
- 44:10Speaker 1: this and Harris, those five families had a coup. I
- 44:15Speaker 1: think they probably threatened him with a twenty fifth amendment
- 44:17Speaker 1: if you don't step aside, we're going to do this too,
- 44:20Speaker 1: because we don't want to lose and we think we
- 44:22Speaker 1: can win. With Harris and Joe Biden, I have not
- 44:26Speaker 1: seen him have a bigger grin on his face when
- 44:29Speaker 1: he did this Rose Garden conversation. Whatever.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Well, look, the whole thing started. I mean, I think
- 44:34Speaker 2: Biden found out about it when he woke up with
- 44:38Speaker 2: his dog, Major's head in his bed and he was
- 44:42Speaker 2: just screaming and screaming and screaming. And for those of
- 44:45Speaker 2: y'all too young to get the reference. That's a reference
- 44:47Speaker 2: to The Godfather, where where the movie producer who refuses
- 44:51Speaker 2: to cast a young Frank Sinatra has this this prize
- 44:55Speaker 2: race horse that that the Godfather decapitates and puts the
- 44:59Speaker 2: horse head in the bed. And it really was it
- 45:03Speaker 2: was the five families that they met and they said, oh,
- 45:06Speaker 2: mister Biden, your services are no longer needed. And and
- 45:11Speaker 2: you know what, I think Joe Biden is pissed. I
- 45:13Speaker 2: don't think it's an accident that Joe Biden put on
- 45:15Speaker 2: a Maga hat in the middle of the election. I
- 45:18Speaker 2: do not think it is an accident that Jill Biden
- 45:21Speaker 2: when she went to vote dressed in all read I
- 45:24Speaker 2: think that was quite deliberate. But listen to Joe Biden.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Listen to the joy that he is emanating today.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Before I play that for you, I want to tell
- 45:35Speaker 1: you about our friends over at Berna, and I got
- 45:37Speaker 1: to tell you I love telling you about companies that
- 45:40Speaker 1: can help protect you and your family. I had to
- 45:44Speaker 1: use a firearm to protect myself. I had to use
- 45:47Speaker 1: a firearm to save my own life. But many times
- 45:50Speaker 1: you may not be in a place where you can
- 45:52Speaker 1: carry a firearm. Maybe you have a child that is
- 45:56Speaker 1: under twenty one and you want to know they have
- 45:58Speaker 1: a way to protect themselves. Maybe you gotten them pepper spray.
- 46:01Speaker 1: What if I told you there's something that's so much
- 46:03Speaker 1: better than that, Well, that is a burna less lethal pistol.
- 46:07Speaker 1: It is amazing. The less lethal pistol launcher can save
- 46:11Speaker 1: not only your life, but the life of someone else.
- 46:14Speaker 1: It is a great compliment to owning a firearm. But
- 46:18Speaker 1: if you're your family or in a situation where you
- 46:20Speaker 1: feel threatened, you can start with less lethal and this
- 46:24Speaker 1: is legal in all fifty states. There are no permits
- 46:27Speaker 1: or background checks needed. I own this myself and they
- 46:31Speaker 1: have been given as gifts to many of my family members. Now,
- 46:34Speaker 1: if you've got a daughter or Eliza by yourself, or
- 46:37Speaker 1: is it school eighteen and under or I say eighteen
- 46:40Speaker 1: and over, Berna is the answer. It's designed for easy
- 46:44Speaker 1: use by all age groups eighteen are over. The burner
- 46:47Speaker 1: launcher has powerful deterrence like tear gas and pepper spray rounds.
- 46:52Speaker 1: They are amazing kinetic rounds as well, with a sixty foot range,
- 46:57Speaker 1: so you have a lot more distance between you and
- 46:59Speaker 1: a threat. Then you have with a taser or with
- 47:02Speaker 1: pepper spray. One shot can incapacitate attacker for up to
- 47:06Speaker 1: forty minutes. It's used by government agencies and law enforcement
- 47:09Speaker 1: around the country, and over a half million units have
- 47:12Speaker 1: been sold in more than fourteen thousand, four and a
- 47:16Speaker 1: half star reviews. Now I'm gonna save you money too.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Visit Berna dot com slash verdict for ten percent off
- 47:26Speaker 1: your purchase. That's by RNA dot Com. Slash verdict for

- 47:35Speaker 1: it works, and you're gonna be amazed. You'll understand why
- 47:38Speaker 1: I am telling you about it. By RNA. That's Burna
- 47:42Speaker 1: dot Com slash verdict for ten percent off. That's by
- 47:46Speaker 1: RNA dot com. Now take a listen to Joe Biden
- 47:50Speaker 1: and I'll say it again. When he came out, he
- 47:52Speaker 1: was grinning from ear to ear in the Rose Garden.
- 47:55Speaker 13: Yeah, it's good to see you all, particularly good to
- 47:59Speaker 13: see my granddaughters in the front row. Here at been
- 48:02Speaker 13: Halloi honey. For over two hundred years, America has carried
- 48:07Speaker 13: out the greatest experiment in self government and history of
- 48:11Speaker 13: the world. And that's not hyperbole.
- 48:13Speaker 1: That's a fact.
- 48:15Speaker 4: For the people.
- 48:16Speaker 13: The people vote and choose their own leaders, and they
- 48:19Speaker 13: do it peacefully. And we're in a democracy. The will
- 48:23Speaker 13: of the people always prevails. Yesterday I spoke with President
- 48:29Speaker 13: elect Trump to congratulate him on his victory, and I
- 48:33Speaker 13: assured him I direct my entire administration to work with
- 48:37Speaker 13: his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition.
- 48:42Speaker 1: That's what the American people deserve.
- 48:45Speaker 13: Yesterday I also spoke with Vice President Harris. She's been
- 48:50Speaker 13: a partner and a public servant. She ran an inspiring
- 48:54Speaker 13: campaign and everyone got to see something that I learned
- 48:58Speaker 13: early on to respect so much her character. She has
- 49:02Speaker 13: a backbone like a rammod. She has great character, true character.
- 49:06Speaker 13: She gave her whole heart and effort, and she and
- 49:09Speaker 13: her entire team should be proud of the campaign they ran.
- 49:13Speaker 13: You know, the struggle for the soul of America since
- 49:18Speaker 13: our very founding has always been an ongoing debate and
- 49:24Speaker 13: still vital today. I know for some people it's a
- 49:28Speaker 13: time for victory to state the obvious. For others, it's
- 49:32Speaker 13: a time of loss. Campaigns your contest of competing visions.
- 49:39Speaker 13: The country chooses one or the other. We accept the
- 49:43Speaker 13: choice the country made I've said many times, you can't
- 49:49Speaker 13: love your country only when you win. You can't love
- 49:54Speaker 13: your neighbor only when you agree something. I hope we
- 49:59Speaker 13: can and do no matter who you voted for, they
- 50:03Speaker 13: see each other not as adversaries, but as fellow Americans.
- 50:07Speaker 13: Bring down the temperature. I also hope we can later
- 50:11Speaker 13: rest the question about the integrity of the American electoral system.
- 50:16Speaker 13: It is honest, it is fair, and it is transparent,
- 50:22Speaker 13: and it can be trusted win or lose. I also
- 50:26Speaker 13: hope we can restore the respect for all our election
- 50:30Speaker 13: workers who busted their next and took risks at the outset.
- 50:34Speaker 13: We should thank them, thank them for staffing voting sites,
- 50:39Speaker 13: counting the votes, protecting the very integrity of the election.
- 50:44Speaker 13: Many of them are volunteers who do it simply out
- 50:47Speaker 13: of love for their country and as they did as
- 50:52Speaker 13: they did their duty as citizens. I will do my
- 50:55Speaker 13: duty as president. I'll fulfill my oath and constitution. On
- 51:01Speaker 13: January twenty, we'll have a peaceful transfer of power here
- 51:06Speaker 13: in America. To all our incredible staff, supporters, Captint members,
- 51:12Speaker 13: all the people have been hanging out with me for the.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Last four years.
- 51:14Speaker 13: God love you as my mother would say, thank you
- 51:17Speaker 13: so much. You put so much into the past four years.
- 51:20Speaker 13: I know it's a difficult time.
- 51:22Speaker 1: I mean, this was a different Joe Biden. You could
- 51:25Speaker 1: even say a joyous Joe Biden. He was not what
- 51:28Speaker 1: you would normally think. And you gotta look at it
- 51:30Speaker 1: and go, man, he was living it up on election
- 51:33Speaker 1: I like you guys threw me out and guess what,
- 51:36Speaker 1: you didn't get the prize after all.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Yeah, And look, I am certain that Joe Biden looked
- 51:42Speaker 2: at his family, looked at his top staff and said,
- 51:44Speaker 2: if it had been me, I do want he believed. Sure,
- 51:48Speaker 2: he believes it through and through. And I don't think
- 51:51Speaker 2: he will ever forgive Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama and
- 51:55Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer for throwing him overboard, doing it unceremonial lee
- 52:00Speaker 2: and saying we want Kamala instead. And look, we'll never
- 52:04Speaker 2: know what that alternative reality would be. I mean, Biden's
- 52:07Speaker 2: first debate was a disaster. That's undoubtedly true. But I
- 52:12Speaker 2: will tell you on election night, Biden did better everywhere
- 52:19Speaker 2: than Kamala did like Kamala or let me frame it
- 52:22Speaker 2: in the obverse, Kamala did worse than Biden did everywhere,
- 52:29Speaker 2: and Joe Biden, I think, is celebrating and not even
- 52:33Speaker 2: that quietly. And you know what, I'm celebrating too, because
- 52:36Speaker 2: it means the country. It's morning in America again and
- 52:39Speaker 2: we're turning the country around.
- 52:41Speaker 1: No doubt about it. Don't forget. We do this show Monday,
