- 1:41Speaker 1: To turn the most turn. You probably got to turn, mouth,
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn out, turn al the mon a capo.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you think I share with him?
- 2:03Speaker 6: Good morning everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 6: dig me now, one and only Steve Harley got a
- 2:10Speaker 6: radio show today. I want to just share something with
- 2:16Speaker 6: you along your way to wherever it is you're trying
- 2:23Speaker 6: to get to. You know, everybody has a different definition
- 2:27Speaker 6: for success, and I'm not here to tell you what
- 2:31Speaker 6: yours should be. I mean, please pursue whatever you think
- 2:34Speaker 6: success is. Aim as high as you can though, that's
- 2:39Speaker 6: for sure. My father used to say all the time.
- 2:42Speaker 6: I'm sure you all have heard it in different variations,
- 2:45Speaker 6: but he used to always say, aim for the moon.
- 2:48Speaker 6: Just in case you miss, you'll still be amongst the stars.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Just say that to me all the time. So that
- 2:54Speaker 6: always was in me to aim high. Now, he wasn't
- 3:00Speaker 6: aim with the intent to miss. He was just saying
- 3:04Speaker 6: aim in case you miss you'll steal me amongst the
- 3:09Speaker 6: stars if you aim for the moon. But if you
- 3:11Speaker 6: just aim for that first flow window and you miss it,
- 3:15Speaker 6: you know, usually run into some type of wall and
- 3:19Speaker 6: nothing happens. You slither down, you know. In my book,
- 3:22Speaker 6: act like a lady, think like a man. I told
- 3:24Speaker 6: her people that me in love three ways. They profess,
- 3:27Speaker 6: they provide, they protect, and that's the core essence of
- 3:31Speaker 6: a man's love.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Well, there's some other PE's in life too.
- 3:37Speaker 6: The number one thing you have to understand about trying
- 3:41Speaker 6: to be successful, and I guess I'll call this the
- 3:45Speaker 6: four p's. I may come up with five along the way.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:49Speaker 6: I'm just talking as it's given to me. So I'm
- 3:52Speaker 6: gonna summer start by saying that these are the four
- 3:54Speaker 6: p's of success that you have to get ready for.
- 3:59Speaker 6: Number one is pressure. A lot of it is applied
- 4:04Speaker 6: by the circumstance of what you're trying to go for
- 4:07Speaker 6: and what you're trying to do.
- 4:09Speaker 4: But.
- 4:11Speaker 6: A lot of it also is self imposed pressure. It's
- 4:15Speaker 6: what you put on yourself to make it. It's a
- 4:19Speaker 6: sense of urgency, it's a sense of necessity. But pressure
- 4:27Speaker 6: is the first thing I want you to be ready
- 4:29Speaker 6: for and pressure comes in a lot of different forms,
- 4:33Speaker 6: but it's going to be pressured as an old saying
- 4:35Speaker 6: that pressure buster pipe. See, that's why most people turn around,
- 4:38Speaker 6: because of the pressure of trying to be successful. I
- 4:42Speaker 6: want you to get it in your mind that it
- 4:44Speaker 6: is going to be a pressure rize situation on your
- 4:48Speaker 6: rise to the top. Pressure, but understand that that is
- 4:53Speaker 6: what it is. Is not going to change.
- 4:56Speaker 2: That's it.
- 4:57Speaker 6: Prepare yourself, get ready for there to be pressure. The
- 5:03Speaker 6: second thing I want you to understand is when you
- 5:06Speaker 6: receive this pressure, you have to persist.
- 5:11Speaker 2: You got to stay at it. You got to develop
- 5:14Speaker 2: a dog illness. Hez A.
- 5:20Speaker 6: There's a song how it says, why must I feel
- 5:25Speaker 6: like that? Why must I chase the cat? Nothing but
- 5:29Speaker 6: the dog in me? That's a funny line in that song,
- 5:34Speaker 6: because really I was thinking about it one day. I
- 5:37Speaker 6: was humming it and and it occurred to me, said,
- 5:42Speaker 6: why must I feel like that? Why must I chase
- 5:45Speaker 6: the cat? Nothing but the dog in me? And you know,
- 5:50Speaker 6: now you could take it in the literal sense that
- 5:53Speaker 6: a cat chases the dog, because it's innately it's in
- 5:56Speaker 6: his spirit that cats and dogs are a lot of
- 5:59Speaker 6: times enemies. Now people have pets in him, proving that
- 6:03Speaker 6: if you show love on both sides, they can exist.
- 6:05Speaker 6: And that happens too but naturally innately. When your cat
- 6:10Speaker 6: goes by a dog and your dog don't recognize him,
- 6:12Speaker 6: there's some barking going on. I'm talking about just walking
- 6:15Speaker 6: through the neighborhood or something. So, but the reason that
- 6:19Speaker 6: this dog is so persistent towards this cat is just
- 6:25Speaker 6: cause it's in him. It's innately in him. And what
- 6:30Speaker 6: I'm saying to you, just using that as an analogy,
- 6:35Speaker 6: is that you got to be you got to be
- 6:39Speaker 6: persistent in that. You got to develop some dog in
- 6:44Speaker 6: you now, because pressure takes some fighting back. See if
- 6:48Speaker 6: you don't fight back against pressure, pressure buster pipe, So
- 6:52Speaker 6: what you think it'll do to you? Pressure crack walls,
- 6:56Speaker 6: pressure calls, explosions. So if you don't fight back to
- 6:59Speaker 6: hold hold it in, you understand pressure does most people
- 7:04Speaker 6: in the simple thing called pressure, the weight of what
- 7:09Speaker 6: it feels like to want to be successful every single day.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Over and over and over and over and over.
- 7:15Speaker 6: It's just too much pressure. People crack. You got to persist,
- 7:20Speaker 6: You have to persist you can. The thought of giving
- 7:24Speaker 6: up can come, but you got to get it out.
- 7:27Speaker 2: You got to persist.
- 7:29Speaker 6: The next thing I want you to think about is
- 7:34Speaker 6: another something that I've been thinking about for years and
- 7:37Speaker 6: learned for years.
- 7:38Speaker 2: It's called perseverance.
- 7:41Speaker 6: To persist means to insist, keyword in incest, and persistence
- 7:48Speaker 6: insists you must. You must insist that this is going
- 7:52Speaker 6: to happen. Now, the persist I'm assuming means it's a proaction.
- 7:57Speaker 6: It's some type of proaction that you go towards it
- 8:00Speaker 6: to make it. You know, persist, You gotta be persistent.
- 8:04Speaker 6: You gotta be constantly at it, insisting that it happens.
- 8:07Speaker 6: You gotta be constantly at it. But the next thing
- 8:10Speaker 6: I want you to remember is perseverance. Perseverance is important.
- 8:14Speaker 6: Perseverance means that when you've done your best, when you've persisted,
- 8:21Speaker 6: when you're fighting back against the pressure. Perseverance simply means
- 8:26Speaker 6: I'm going to hang in here. What if a crack
- 8:30Speaker 6: come into pipe, I'm gonna hang in there. If the
- 8:34Speaker 6: pipe bust, I'm gonna keep going. If I gotta put duct,
- 8:38Speaker 6: take mud, whatever I got to put on this thing. Man,
- 8:43Speaker 6: I'm gonna use perseverance. I'm going to stay with it
- 8:48Speaker 6: no matter what. So we're looking at the three things again.
- 8:52Speaker 6: You got to understand that it's gonna be pressure that
- 8:55Speaker 6: you're gonna have to persist. Keyword in persistence insists. You
- 9:00Speaker 6: have to insist that no matter what the pressure is,
- 9:03Speaker 6: I'm gonna stay with it. But then perseverance. If it
- 9:06Speaker 6: goes wrong, man, you got to get in there and
- 9:10Speaker 6: keep fighting. But then, Lord have mercy. Nothing helps you
- 9:15Speaker 6: handle the three peas better than the fourth p You
- 9:18Speaker 6: got to pray.
- 9:19Speaker 2: You got to use prayer. You got to talk to God.
- 9:23Speaker 2: You gotta use faith.
- 9:25Speaker 6: You gotta have some conferences with him late at night,
- 9:29Speaker 6: early in the morning, in the middle of the afternoon,
- 9:31Speaker 6: when you're on the train, when you're driving. You got
- 9:34Speaker 6: to talk to God. Man, you got to get yourself
- 9:37Speaker 6: some help along the way. Nothing is bigger than prayer.
- 9:40Speaker 6: There is nothing bigger than prayer. Prayer will help you
- 9:43Speaker 6: overcome the pressure. Prayer will help you stay persistent, and
- 9:47Speaker 6: Lord have mercy, Prayer will help you persevere. Then, mister
- 9:51Speaker 6: faux pease, God gave that to me. I'm passing it.
- 9:56Speaker 5: On Moning show.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen. The time has come to us to
- 10:06Speaker 6: realize this blessing again. I'm so grateful that I get
- 10:12Speaker 6: to be here for it. Man, I just I can't
- 10:16Speaker 6: let it slide. I am grateful for being able to
- 10:20Speaker 6: be a participant in a new day.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I really am. Now.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Listen, a couple of things went wrong yesterday, a couple
- 10:28Speaker 6: of things could.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Possibly be a little challenging today.
- 10:33Speaker 6: But you know what, to God, I serve gives me
- 10:36Speaker 6: the ability to strength, the wisdom of understanding, the patience
- 10:39Speaker 6: to handle it all. So whatever it is, but right now,
- 10:43Speaker 6: as of right now, I expect great things to happen today,
- 10:46Speaker 6: and they will even even in the face of challenges
- 10:50Speaker 6: and difficulties, because all things work for the good of
- 10:55Speaker 6: those that love the Lord.
- 10:58Speaker 2: And you better know I love it.
- 11:00Speaker 6: I don't love him as much as he loved me,
- 11:02Speaker 6: because I'm human, But boy, his love and grace and
- 11:05Speaker 6: faithor for me been good enough for me, and I
- 11:07Speaker 6: take all the rest of it. Day he got too
- 11:09Speaker 6: high about you, Steve Harvey, Marty Show, Shelly Strawberry, Colin Farrell, Mississippi,
- 11:13Speaker 6: Monica Junior, and the Legend of Nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:17Speaker 2: You look different this morning. Man, what's going on? You know?
- 11:20Speaker 2: Unc man?
- 11:20Speaker 7: You know you got people being around you sometimes, uncle,
- 11:23Speaker 7: like you know, I have some people over, you know,
- 11:24Speaker 7: for over the weekend, stuff that was with me for
- 11:26Speaker 7: the race and everything.
- 11:27Speaker 8: But you notice how.
- 11:28Speaker 7: People always look at everything half empty and never half full,
- 11:32Speaker 7: complain the whole time.
- 11:34Speaker 8: Don't never find a beauty in nothing that you do
- 11:36Speaker 8: or anything that you have.
- 11:37Speaker 7: Always around you just ain't got nothing on anything, ain't
- 11:41Speaker 7: never grateful for nothing.
- 11:43Speaker 8: And they sit there and fought you for being grateful.
- 11:45Speaker 7: And you have to deal with these people all time
- 11:47Speaker 7: cause you then to tell you something, I can't help
- 11:49Speaker 7: him that my washing machine ain't got no dial on it.
- 11:52Speaker 8: Okay, see, I'm grateful. That's not my fault that you
- 11:56Speaker 8: don't know how to turn the power on on the
- 11:57Speaker 8: washing machine when you be glad to watch machine?
- 11:59Speaker 6: Is he though?
- 12:00Speaker 8: See see, I'm glad.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It ain't my fault.
- 12:04Speaker 8: You can't find the ice maker. The ice maker been
- 12:06Speaker 8: there the whole time.
- 12:07Speaker 2: It ain't my fault.
- 12:08Speaker 8: These things you look at half if these are the
- 12:10Speaker 8: things you need to be half full. Technology live in here.
- 12:12Speaker 7: I just don't want people be upset when they come
- 12:14Speaker 7: over here and you can't operate my stuff.
- 12:16Speaker 2: That mean you need to leave.
- 12:17Speaker 8: That's what that means.
- 12:20Speaker 1: That's what that means.
- 12:21Speaker 8: Over see you looking at it half empty. Look if
- 12:25Speaker 8: you don't know that the other button is for of
- 12:26Speaker 8: ice and others for the water.
- 12:27Speaker 1: That's not my fault.
- 12:28Speaker 7: Where you have to use ice trade. We don't have
- 12:30Speaker 7: ice trays here. You better stunt what am I supposed
- 12:33Speaker 7: to do? I'm got the top every bottom lock on
- 12:36Speaker 7: my locker. I ain't no dead boats in here. We
- 12:37Speaker 7: got top lights.
- 12:39Speaker 2: You need to get you an ice train. You can
- 12:41Speaker 2: get back.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Of the me though. You're some humility and we don't
- 12:47Speaker 1: raise the garage.
- 12:48Speaker 8: I'm over here by hand the garage go up to
- 12:50Speaker 8: the button.
- 12:50Speaker 9: I can't help that.
- 12:53Speaker 2: You need some new damn friends, these relatives because.
- 12:58Speaker 6: None of them frids got a button to open the
- 13:00Speaker 6: garage though, And don't do what the ice maker look
- 13:03Speaker 6: like you need?
- 13:03Speaker 4: You need?
- 13:04Speaker 2: You need to level up, dog.
- 13:06Speaker 8: Oh did you hear what I said?
- 13:08Speaker 6: Bright people over your house to flex and bring some
- 13:11Speaker 6: people over there that's already got this stuff in their house.
- 13:15Speaker 6: It's told you a thousand times everybody come with you
- 13:20Speaker 6: can't go with you. You try and take everybody with you,
- 13:22Speaker 6: not over your house.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Man.
- 13:26Speaker 9: He can't get rid of family that easily, though.
- 13:28Speaker 10: You can get rid of them because he got a backyard.
- 13:30Speaker 10: I ain't got no fence. They walk right on through
- 13:32Speaker 10: the door.
- 13:34Speaker 2: They can wander right over.
- 13:36Speaker 11: At thirty two minutes after the hour, William from the
- 13:40Speaker 11: nephew as he runs that prank back right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 5: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 13:46Speaker 9: It is time now to run that prank back with
- 13:48Speaker 9: a nephew.
- 13:49Speaker 2: What you got for his nep I got that triple cast.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Its shady. It's a triple cast. Three people in one cast.
- 13:56Speaker 12: Come on, let's go Jains Mortuary. This is Calevin Imel.
- 14:00Speaker 2: How you doing. My name is Brandon Man. Brandon.
- 14:03Speaker 10: Okay, we've got somebody that uh has passed actually three
- 14:08Speaker 10: people passed away. Yeah, I thank you for that, man.
- 14:13Speaker 10: It was kind of expected. Uh so you know, it
- 14:17Speaker 10: wasn't something that caught us off guard. But you know,
- 14:19Speaker 10: but all in all, you know, we're still grieving about
- 14:22Speaker 10: losing our loved ones. But uh, but I wanted to
- 14:24Speaker 10: give you all a call. We're trying to pick a
- 14:27Speaker 10: particular funeral home on who we want to take care
- 14:30Speaker 10: of the service.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Yes, yes, sir, Yes, sir.
- 14:33Speaker 12: Okay, I can definitely help you with that and just
- 14:37Speaker 12: let you know that we can pretty much do the
- 14:40Speaker 12: whole game that we we can make sure that you
- 14:43Speaker 12: need to take him from you know, from from now on,
- 14:47Speaker 12: we're here for you. Want to get that out. What
- 14:50Speaker 12: is your mean? Need you said three people? Sir?
- 14:54Speaker 5: Yes?
- 14:54Speaker 10: Yes, yes, I wanted to bring attention to you. Do
- 14:59Speaker 10: you guys customize caskets?
- 15:02Speaker 12: Yes, we do, gold plating, uh, engraving. Uh even have
- 15:07Speaker 12: a new thing where we can put the picture of
- 15:09Speaker 12: the person on the outside like a semi gloss coating
- 15:13Speaker 12: a couple of hours.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't. I don't need that on no goal
- 15:17Speaker 2: or nothing like that. Listen, listen. What I want to do.
- 15:20Speaker 10: Is it any way that you could maybe uh customize
- 15:24Speaker 10: a casket that can accommodate three people?
- 15:29Speaker 12: Uh? Yes, like we we can. We can customize each
- 15:33Speaker 12: individual casket for each individual.
- 15:36Speaker 10: No, no, no, Calvin, I didn't want to ask. What
- 15:39Speaker 10: I'm saying is if I want to like like I said,
- 15:42Speaker 10: like I said, deep, I could they was all close.
- 15:45Speaker 10: You know, I don't have a problem with all three
- 15:47Speaker 10: of them being in the same casket.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I get you.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Uh.
- 15:54Speaker 12: You know, to my knowledge is as far as I've
- 15:56Speaker 12: been in this business, I've never Uh, I'm I'm not
- 16:00Speaker 12: really sure we can actually do that.
- 16:02Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, I mean, but what's the problem
- 16:04Speaker 2: if we can get them all in there?
- 16:07Speaker 12: Well, sir, I mean, I think that's a I don't
- 16:10Speaker 12: even think if for one, it's legal in this state
- 16:13Speaker 12: or any state. Uh, three people in one casket and
- 16:18Speaker 12: ethics wise, I uh, that's not really something that can
- 16:22Speaker 12: I say that we actually, you.
- 16:24Speaker 10: Know, but if you customizing a casket, Calvin, then you
- 16:27Speaker 10: ought to be able to put as many people in there.
- 16:30Speaker 10: If you make it deep enough and wide enough, ought
- 16:32Speaker 10: to be get three people in there.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:35Speaker 12: Well, the customization is is the outer side of the
- 16:39Speaker 12: casket and maybe you know some people even put TV
- 16:44Speaker 12: screens on the inside or some of their their their
- 16:46Speaker 12: loved ones, uh, memorable mementos. Uh, we customize it for that,
- 16:52Speaker 12: you know, color wise?
- 16:54Speaker 10: Uh so what about when when is a person real
- 16:56Speaker 10: big uh, you know, a heavy set person, you know
- 17:00Speaker 10: you gotta have a casket that can accommodate them. Right, yes,
- 17:03Speaker 10: But okay, so so you want to be able to
- 17:05Speaker 10: put you want to be able to put three people
- 17:07Speaker 10: in one casket if they can fit, if you put
- 17:11Speaker 10: two one way and one the other other way, and
- 17:13Speaker 10: you ought to be to have all three of them
- 17:15Speaker 10: in there at one time.
- 17:17Speaker 12: Is there anybody else around you and your family that
- 17:20Speaker 12: can help talk with me about this.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I'm talking you right now.
- 17:25Speaker 10: I'm trying to get I'm trying to accommodate my cousins
- 17:27Speaker 10: and get them straight. And I'm asking you can we
- 17:29Speaker 10: get them in a casket, that one casket that can accommodate.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Three people if you put two pillows on the body
- 17:35Speaker 2: end one.
- 17:36Speaker 10: That's not something we're really uh, that ain't something you
- 17:41Speaker 10: used to doing, cabin but I'm calling you telling you
- 17:43Speaker 10: that's the way I want this customize.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Man.
- 17:45Speaker 12: All right, brother, look brother, brother, just just chill out
- 17:48Speaker 12: with cutting.
- 17:49Speaker 13: All right.
- 17:50Speaker 2: So we're trying to get three people are Yeah, I have.
- 17:53Speaker 12: A standard plan. It'll be a low end standard plan
- 17:56Speaker 12: for three individual cactis.
- 18:00Speaker 2: That's we ain't got.
- 18:01Speaker 10: We don't have enough money for three individual caskets. I
- 18:05Speaker 10: keep telling you that we got room for one casket.
- 18:09Speaker 10: We just need to big enough. Man, if you could
- 18:11Speaker 10: get everybody in there and close the door.
- 18:14Speaker 12: I'm not gonna I'm not. I don't want to go
- 18:15Speaker 12: back and forth with you, sir.
- 18:16Speaker 13: I know this is the time.
- 18:18Speaker 10: Then you ain't gotta go back and forth with me.
- 18:20Speaker 10: Buildings that I need, I can bury my family.
- 18:24Speaker 12: I don't really know what to tell you, sir, but
- 18:26Speaker 12: I'm just really trying to help. I'm trying to Don't
- 18:28Speaker 12: you tell me.
- 18:28Speaker 2: You're gonna get three people in the casket looking good?
- 18:31Speaker 4: Do?
- 18:32Speaker 12: We cannot do that?
- 18:34Speaker 2: You have that, man, I'm the one going through bereathing.
- 18:37Speaker 13: I understand that, but you are, you're you use the
- 18:40Speaker 13: foul language.
- 18:41Speaker 12: We can't do it.
- 18:42Speaker 10: Brother, you hear me, No, no, no, no, no, hold

- 29:39Speaker 9: Frankie was seventy seven years old.
- 29:41Speaker 11: He was from Philadelphia and a founding member of his
- 29:45Speaker 11: group's Made Yeah.
- 29:47Speaker 9: Their music inspired us for generations.
- 29:50Speaker 11: Our home station in Philly, w DAS one oh five
- 29:53Speaker 11: point three FM shared a statement from Frankie's family on
- 29:57Speaker 11: social media. It said, quote, grievou the loss of a
- 30:00Speaker 11: loved one is a deeply personal and emotional experience. During
- 30:05Speaker 11: this time, as we are navigating feelings of sorrow, reflection,
- 30:09Speaker 11: and remembrance, we kindly ask for privacy and understanding, allowing
- 30:15Speaker 11: us the space to grievee in our own way. The
- 30:18Speaker 11: family continued, this period is for one of healing, and
- 30:21Speaker 11: your respect for our need for solitude is appreciated as
- 30:25Speaker 11: we honor the memory of our beloved Howard Stanley Beverly,
- 30:29Speaker 11: known to the world as Frankie Beverly. He lived his
- 30:32Speaker 11: life with pure soul, as one would say, and for us,
- 30:36Speaker 11: no one did it better.
- 30:37Speaker 9: He lived for his music, for his.
- 30:39Speaker 11: Family, and for his friends, love one another as he
- 30:43Speaker 11: would want that for us. All end quote Steve. I
- 30:47Speaker 11: mean you know, I know you knew Frankie. What a
- 30:51Speaker 11: legacy of music legacy he left. I mean, tell us
- 30:54Speaker 11: about some of your fondness memories.
- 30:56Speaker 6: I don't even really, I don't even know the words
- 31:03Speaker 6: about what Frankie Beverley was to us culturally. If you
- 31:09Speaker 6: are forty years old, you understand. I don't even have to.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Explain this to him.
- 31:16Speaker 6: If you are forty years old, I don't even have
- 31:19Speaker 6: to explain this to you. But if you are not
- 31:22Speaker 6: forty years old and you don't know, then you should know.
- 31:26Speaker 2: What you should do.
- 31:28Speaker 6: What you should do is go on Apple Music and
- 31:31Speaker 6: download everything you can from Frankie Beverley, and I want
- 31:34Speaker 6: you to listen to it, and I want you to
- 31:37Speaker 6: understand why this man could sell out Arenas having not
- 31:43Speaker 6: put out an album in twenty years. I want you
- 31:47Speaker 6: to go see why. I want you to see why
- 31:49Speaker 6: for years he closed out the biggest musical festival in
- 31:53Speaker 6: America for us, The Essence Musical festival. I want you
- 31:56Speaker 6: to understand why he I didn't care who was on
- 31:59Speaker 6: the show. I don't care who you bought down there.
- 32:03Speaker 6: Frankie Beverly and.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Mays was to show closer period. Yes, sir, I don't know.

- 32:25Speaker 2: You can't know, but you have to hear the songs
- 32:28Speaker 2: now listen.
- 32:29Speaker 6: I know if you're young, y'all have a propensity sometimes
- 32:33Speaker 6: to overlook old school and think it's old. If it
- 32:37Speaker 6: wasn't for that, you don't exist today. If you don't
- 32:40Speaker 6: think Frankie Beverly bad, asked Beyonce, ask.
- 32:47Speaker 2: The Queen Bee.
- 32:49Speaker 6: I am telling you you cannot call yourself a music
- 32:53Speaker 6: connoisseur and not know what this man did. Frankie Beverly,
- 32:59Speaker 6: and then on top of that was just a beautiful soul.
- 33:01Speaker 6: He was a cool ass dude. Man, I'm talking about man.
- 33:05Speaker 6: When we talk about cool, he wasn't hard, he wasn't
- 33:08Speaker 6: no gangster, he wasn't no thug. When I'm telling you
- 33:11Speaker 6: the epitome of cool. Yeah, cool with a capital O,
- 33:17Speaker 6: capital C O o L all caps, Frankie Beverley all.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Caps, all white.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yeah, that's how.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Deep he was.
- 33:32Speaker 6: No introduction necessary. The only person, and excuse me for
- 33:36Speaker 6: I take this flex moment. Only person ever introduced Frankie
- 33:40Speaker 6: Beverly at essence was Steve Harvey. Only one nobody else.
- 33:45Speaker 6: You just you just walked off the stage. He left
- 33:48Speaker 6: it black. Nobody Frankie, Frankie walked out there. I'm just
- 33:52Speaker 6: saying me though, because Frankie had a Frankie had a
- 33:57Speaker 6: set thing. I'm just telling you Frankie had at essence,
- 34:01Speaker 6: I said, at essence, Frankie had a set thing. Everybody
- 34:04Speaker 6: leave the stage, stage go black, the band walk out,
- 34:09Speaker 6: the band don't say nothing, TU two three, don't and
- 34:16Speaker 6: then they start. After that, Frankie Beverly walked out. There
- 34:21Speaker 6: was no introduction, just one time. I asked him, could
- 34:24Speaker 6: I do it? He says, Steve, I'm gonna let.
- 34:27Speaker 4: You do it.
- 34:28Speaker 2: I just wanted to. I just wanted that because I
- 34:32Speaker 2: had never seen nobody do it before.
- 34:35Speaker 6: Now.
- 34:36Speaker 2: But this dude right here, he it was no introduction necessary.

- 34:56Speaker 6: he meant to us immeasurable, believable to the culture.
- 35:02Speaker 9: Yeah, I still well, you can't go to a family union.

- 35:22Speaker 11: The news was shocking. He just completed his farewell tour too.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:28Speaker 6: Now, let me tell you something. He wasn't a prince
- 35:33Speaker 6: or Michael Jackson global icons.
- 35:36Speaker 2: But to us though, in our culture.
- 35:41Speaker 6: He was all of that, all of that, and he
- 35:44Speaker 6: was all of that, yes, sir, Yes, to black folks.
- 35:47Speaker 6: And you got to be bad to black people to
- 35:50Speaker 6: be bad anyway.
- 35:51Speaker 9: So that's right, that part, that's right.
- 35:57Speaker 2: No disrespect to nobody else, but you got to be
- 36:01Speaker 2: bad to us.
- 36:02Speaker 5: That's right.
- 36:03Speaker 9: Thank you for that reflection.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Steve.
- 36:05Speaker 11: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have

- 37:15Speaker 11: That's how I got to go to London because I
- 37:17Speaker 11: was part of the promotion and everything, and went over
- 37:19Speaker 11: there and saw Frankie Beverly and it was an amazing trip.
- 37:23Speaker 11: I was in London watching Frankie Beverly on stage. That
- 37:27Speaker 11: was just an awesome, awesome trip for me. I'll never
- 37:30Speaker 11: forget that as long as I lived, because it was
- 37:32Speaker 11: great and he was great, and the people over there
- 37:35Speaker 11: loved him too.
- 37:36Speaker 9: They loved him.
- 37:37Speaker 3: I think for me, it's the same thing what Tommy

- 38:29Speaker 7: In New Orleans, all New Year's Eve, I got to
- 38:31Speaker 7: open for Frankie.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Oh wow, there you go.
- 38:34Speaker 7: I did it about four times with her, but at first,
- 38:36Speaker 7: but that's what say you. You don't got to introduce him.
- 38:39Speaker 7: I did my jokes, and they just told me, you know,
- 38:41Speaker 7: to walk off stage. I did jump off the front
- 38:44Speaker 7: of the stage. I want to be up front.
- 38:46Speaker 8: My grandmother's hero right here.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I'll finish his music live.
- 38:50Speaker 3: He inspired generations, generations for us and our culture for
- 38:55Speaker 3: black people.
- 38:55Speaker 5: He did for sure.
- 38:57Speaker 11: Coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour, We're
- 39:00Speaker 11: gonna check your voicemail Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.

- 39:19Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 39:20Speaker 9: All right, here we go this call. I left a
- 39:22Speaker 9: message about the debate.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Hey, what's up, Steve.
- 39:27Speaker 4: Tommy called Shirley Junior all of y'all. Hey, I was
- 39:31Speaker 4: listening to that debate last night, man, and that dude
- 39:34Speaker 4: needs to go eat it some jello, do a little
- 39:36Speaker 4: crossword plover and go on sleep man. That's what he
- 39:39Speaker 4: needs to do. This over warm man, I don't think
- 39:42Speaker 4: he knew he was talking about he gonna play the
- 39:44Speaker 4: clipback and he went like, man, why y'all they stop me?
- 39:46Speaker 6: Man?
- 39:47Speaker 4: Why all that go up there and say all that
- 39:48Speaker 4: stuff like that. Anyway, Hey, Tommy, listen to.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Some of your your priks.
- 39:52Speaker 4: Man at the end where everybody always say.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Oh man, I was about to do this to you,
- 39:56Speaker 2: not about to do that to you?
- 39:58Speaker 4: How how are you gonna do that? How were you
- 40:00Speaker 4: gonna do This's you weren't gonna.
- 40:02Speaker 12: Get tell me.
- 40:03Speaker 2: I was about the war.
- 40:04Speaker 4: It was about to be a slaughter in here.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Boy.
- 40:06Speaker 4: I was about to come look for you, man.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Do this on anyway? All right, y'all have a.
- 40:12Speaker 4: Good one man.
- 40:16Speaker 6: The reality moment, I appreciate you, man, But you know
- 40:27Speaker 6: the spin that's been put on this debate already, it's amazing. Uh,
- 40:32Speaker 6: here's fox whole thing. It was the worst debate. It
- 40:35Speaker 6: was three against one. It was the most unfair debate.
- 40:38Speaker 6: Elon Musk came out and said it was an unfair debate.
- 40:42Speaker 6: It was three on one.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Them folks put spins on everything.
- 40:47Speaker 9: Every that's what they do.
- 40:49Speaker 6: Donald right after debate walked out there and said it's
- 40:53Speaker 6: the best debate I've ever had.
- 40:55Speaker 2: You're delusional.
- 40:56Speaker 9: Yeah, that's because she won, all right.
- 41:01Speaker 6: You might as well have just came out there and said,
- 41:02Speaker 6: you know what, I took a good I ask for him,
- 41:05Speaker 6: y'all did y'all see?
- 41:07Speaker 9: Yeah, I submitted own it.
- 41:10Speaker 1: But you're said like he's in denial about that. He's
- 41:13Speaker 1: gonna be a denial about the selection.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 41:14Speaker 1: We got to vote. Man, got out there and vote.
- 41:17Speaker 2: He has already said for if he don't win, he's
- 41:23Speaker 2: already set that up, y'all. That's what he said.
- 41:26Speaker 9: You're right, all right, Steve. Another caller left a message
- 41:29Speaker 9: about the debate.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Check it out.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Oh Steve Ogg, you know, I got one more thing.
- 41:33Speaker 13: What was the point of the munich mic? What was
- 41:36Speaker 13: the point?
- 41:36Speaker 15: More seriously, what was the point of the musical mutich might?
- 41:39Speaker 15: Why do we have to hear about that always about
- 41:41Speaker 15: the rules of debate? What was the point of moderators
- 41:44Speaker 15: if they were not going to moderate? And why have
- 41:46Speaker 15: these moderators not learned by this point that you do
- 41:49Speaker 15: not ask Donald Trump compounded questions.
- 41:52Speaker 4: You asked him a single question. See if you can
- 41:55Speaker 4: answer it.
- 41:56Speaker 2: If you can't answer it, you ask it again.
- 41:58Speaker 4: But you know another thing I noticed.
- 41:59Speaker 15: Speed you you rarely ever see Donald Trump shit across
- 42:03Speaker 15: from a black man. Even when they had that interview
- 42:05Speaker 15: with the National Association of Black Journalists, there was not
- 42:08Speaker 15: a single black man on that stage. Okay, so everything
- 42:12Speaker 15: is he hasn't so easy, so easy, so easy, and
- 42:16Speaker 15: he still makes himself look crazy.
- 42:18Speaker 13: But I digress.
- 42:19Speaker 4: I'm done with the causes. You know, ain't nobody.
- 42:21Speaker 12: It's gonna be the same thing tomorrow, next week. So
- 42:25Speaker 12: I just wanted to get off my chest.
- 42:28Speaker 6: First of all, he's right about simplifying the questions for him.
- 42:32Speaker 6: Either way, he's not going to answer it.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Right. He did not answer a single question.
- 42:39Speaker 6: And the part that I didn't like was they gave
- 42:43Speaker 6: him a chance to rebuttal everything she said.
- 42:48Speaker 2: I mean, even when his time was up.
- 42:51Speaker 6: Yep, because if you look at the time spent, who
- 42:55Speaker 6: spent the most time talking? I mean, man, he just
- 42:58Speaker 6: he was able to rebuttle everything and she said, and
- 43:01Speaker 6: to no avail though it was a clear cut when
- 43:04Speaker 6: the sad part of it is the Trumpsters are voting
- 43:07Speaker 6: for Trump. I don't care what he say. I will
- 43:10Speaker 6: vote for you.
- 43:11Speaker 2: If you have sexual assault charges, I will vote for you.
- 43:16Speaker 6: If you have thirty four felony convictions, I will vote
- 43:20Speaker 6: for you. If you've paid off a porno star, I
- 43:24Speaker 6: will vote for you. If you don't pay taxes. I'm
- 43:28Speaker 6: voting for you because I wish I was you. But
- 43:32Speaker 6: if he loses, this will be a chance for the
- 43:35Speaker 6: Republican Party to take their party back and get it
- 43:38Speaker 6: back at least on the track. I don't mind you
- 43:40Speaker 6: having Republican views. Just can you get a better damn
- 43:44Speaker 6: candidate to exude these views because this dude right here,
- 43:47Speaker 6: if he's what you call an example, y'all in a
- 43:50Speaker 6: sad state, we need to have Erica.
- 43:54Speaker 11: All right, Thank you guys for your calls. Coming up
- 43:57Speaker 11: next the Nephew and the prank phone call for today.
- 44:00Speaker 11: Right after this, you're listening Hard Morning Show. Coming up
- 44:06Speaker 11: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes after,
- 44:08Speaker 11: it's my Strawberry letter for today. And here's the subject.
- 44:11Speaker 11: He asked so many questions. We'll get into that, find
- 44:16Speaker 11: out what that's all about. Yeah, he's you want to
- 44:21Speaker 11: know too much.
- 44:23Speaker 9: We'll find it what's all about?
- 44:24Speaker 11: Coming up in just a few because right now the
- 44:26Speaker 11: nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 44:29Speaker 9: What you got for his neph?
- 44:31Speaker 4: Uh?
- 44:31Speaker 10: Sureley, what I got Let's see we going deep into
- 44:34Speaker 10: the archives of.

- 44:47Speaker 2: it right here. That ain't my brother's baby.
- 44:49Speaker 9: Okay, my brothers get that.
- 44:53Speaker 10: Yeah, okay, right here, right now, it ain't my brother baby.
- 44:57Speaker 10: I mean, you're gonna get the things straight right here,
- 44:58Speaker 10: right now. Let's go care a dog. Don't worry about
- 45:03Speaker 10: this something I need to take care. I talked to it, man,

- 45:09Speaker 10: my brother. I don't live in Dallas where y'all live at.
- 45:11Speaker 10: I'm the one that live out of town. But we
- 45:14Speaker 10: didn't have a family meeting and talked about it. And uh,
- 45:17Speaker 10: I know Travis is your son. He eight years old.
- 45:21Speaker 10: But the problem is the reason why I'm calling you, Tyry,
- 45:24Speaker 10: is cause we didn't fund out that Travis ain't none
- 45:28Speaker 10: of damous child. Excuse me, Travis ain't none a damon child.
- 45:33Speaker 10: He's been paying you child support here for the last
- 45:35Speaker 10: eight old on And you said, I'm Darrell, I'm Damon brother.
- 45:40Speaker 14: And who gave you this information?
- 45:42Speaker 2: We already found the information out.
- 45:44Speaker 10: We actually gonna go down there to the courthouse and
- 45:45Speaker 10: get all this stuff rectified. But we didn't find out
- 45:48Speaker 10: that Travis ain't not ain't none a damon's child, and
- 45:51Speaker 10: he's been set up here sending you money seven eight
- 45:54Speaker 10: hundred dollars a month and this child ain't even here.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Now, I hate for Travis to find this out, and
- 45:59Speaker 2: he gonna have to find it.
- 46:01Speaker 14: He ain't finna find Ask why are you calling me?
- 46:04Speaker 10: Look, the family done had a meeting, and I'm the
- 46:06Speaker 10: one that they decided to make the phone call and
- 46:09Speaker 10: tell you what's.
- 46:09Speaker 14: Going on now, don't you You You don't have a
- 46:12Speaker 14: damn thing to do with this. You You ain't nobody
- 46:14Speaker 14: daddy over here. So I'm not sure what you're calling for.
- 46:17Speaker 14: Who God made you keen or wanted you to be

- 47:26Speaker 14: to your brother again.
- 47:27Speaker 2: That's what you need to do.
- 47:28Speaker 14: And you don't need to be talking to me.
- 47:29Speaker 2: You finish send us all the money my brother didn't send, y'all.
- 47:32Speaker 13: I and when I do, Look but I sent.

- 48:04Speaker 2: have a problem coming over there, knocking down some doz
- 48:06Speaker 2: and getting some questions answered. Because Damon, this ain't Damon's baby.
- 48:10Speaker 14: Obviously you must wish it was yours. So she's taking

- 53:42Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 53:45Speaker 11: All right, nephew, thank you. Subject he has so many questions.
- 53:49Speaker 11: Dear Stephen Shirley, my boyfriend and I are on shaky
- 53:52Speaker 11: ground because he thinks I'm cheating. He's the one whose
- 53:56Speaker 11: phone rings all night long, So why is he so
- 53:58Speaker 11: paranoid about me whenever I go out without him? He
- 54:02Speaker 11: calls me repeatedly. He'll even ask me to FaceTime him
- 54:05Speaker 11: so he can see where I am. He thinks he's slick,
- 54:08Speaker 11: but it makes me think he could be cheating on me.
- 54:11Speaker 11: The thing is, I do not care, because if he is,
- 54:14Speaker 11: it will come out eventually. He's suspicious about everything I do,
- 54:19Speaker 11: and now he's questioning me before, during, and after sex.
- 54:24Speaker 11: The last time I saw him, it was late and
- 54:26Speaker 11: I was about to go to bed. He asked why
- 54:29Speaker 11: I didn't take a shower with him, and I told
- 54:32Speaker 11: him he's always welcome to join me. He said I
- 54:36Speaker 11: was hiding my body from him, so I got naked
- 54:39Speaker 11: in front of him to shut him up. Then I
- 54:41Speaker 11: kissed him on the neck and he said I've never
- 54:43Speaker 11: kissed him in that spot before.
- 54:45Speaker 1: He asked me who taught.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Me to do that.
- 54:48Speaker 11: I almost told him I was leaving right then and there,
- 54:51Speaker 11: but I stayed, and during our intimate moment, he stopped
- 54:55Speaker 11: to ask me if I would ever give myself to
- 54:58Speaker 11: anyone else. I was so thrown off and it ruined
- 55:02Speaker 11: the moment. We got back into the swing of things
- 55:05Speaker 11: and he asked if I was his for the rest
- 55:07Speaker 11: of our lives. I told him I was just trying
- 55:09Speaker 11: to get through what we were doing at the moment.
- 55:13Speaker 11: He got mad and he got up and went to
- 55:16Speaker 11: the bathroom. I was dressed and headed out. When he
- 55:19Speaker 11: came out of the bathroom, he asked if I was
- 55:21Speaker 11: going home or to another guy's house. I ignored him.
- 55:25Speaker 11: He texted me to see if I made it home,
- 55:27Speaker 11: and I ignored him. He tried to FaceTime me, and
- 55:31Speaker 11: I ignored him. I haven't texted or talked to him.
- 55:34Speaker 9: In three days.
- 55:35Speaker 11: What's with all the questions? Well, you said it at
- 55:39Speaker 11: the top of your letter. I mean, he's the one
- 55:41Speaker 11: whose phone is ringing all night long. And I'm not
- 55:44Speaker 11: saying he's cheating, and neither are you. But a lot
- 55:47Speaker 11: of times, you know, when people act this suspicious checking
- 55:51Speaker 11: up on you all the time, wanting to see where
- 55:53Speaker 11: you are, FaceTime me, let me see where you are,
- 55:55Speaker 11: it's because they could be doing something themselves too, huh,
- 56:02Speaker 11: asking you questions like why are you why aren't you
- 56:04Speaker 11: taking a shower with me? Why are you kissing me
- 56:07Speaker 11: on my neck like this? Who taught you to do that?
- 56:10Speaker 11: He's stopping love making, He's stopping down to ask you
- 56:13Speaker 11: about someone else. He asked if you were going to
- 56:16Speaker 11: see another man, Well, could you blame him or could
- 56:19Speaker 11: he blame you? I should say if you did go
- 56:21Speaker 11: to another man. At this point, it's just too much,
- 56:23Speaker 11: all these questions, all this nagging and stuff. He couldn't
- 56:26Speaker 11: be this insecure. Come on, now, this man is not
- 56:29Speaker 11: even your husband at this point, Answer his call the
- 56:33Speaker 11: next time he phoned you, and talk to him about
- 56:36Speaker 11: what's on your mind, just like you wrote us this letter.
- 56:38Speaker 9: This cannot continue. This is nerve wracking.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Steve, Well.
- 56:50Speaker 2: What, Steve?
- 56:51Speaker 6: I knew a guy like this once. I knew a
- 56:54Speaker 6: guy like this once, but it was because he was
- 56:59Speaker 6: dating his woman who was completely out of his league.
- 57:04Speaker 6: I mean really, I have known the guy for years.
- 57:08Speaker 6: I met the girl with him, and I couldn't believe it.
- 57:11Speaker 6: I was like, wow, man, what did you say to
- 57:16Speaker 6: get this girl? I couldn't understand it because I know
- 57:20Speaker 6: for a fact he don't have game. I've talked with it.
- 57:22Speaker 6: He's always been the one of us who was like
- 57:26Speaker 6: the least, the left behind dude. But this dude, he
- 57:30Speaker 6: came in with a with a star and boil. Let
- 57:32Speaker 6: me tell you something. It didn't last long because he
- 57:35Speaker 6: wore her out the same way this dude is doing
- 57:38Speaker 6: right here. So it could be that you are out
- 57:43Speaker 6: of his league. But I mean, I've most guys date up.
- 57:49Speaker 6: I've never you know, you ever know you always see
- 57:54Speaker 6: a woman and go, what the hell is she doing
- 57:56Speaker 6: with him? You always do that, And when you see
- 58:00Speaker 6: a guy you saying, wow, how the hell he get her?
- 58:02Speaker 2: It's always a woman who appears to be more, you know.
- 58:07Speaker 2: I'm like, I'll give you an example. A rich man
- 58:13Speaker 2: will marry and take care of a poor woman, but
- 58:19Speaker 2: you will very rarely see a rich woman marry and
- 58:23Speaker 2: take care of a pole man. It just it just
- 58:26Speaker 2: don't really work out there. We don't mind being the
- 58:31Speaker 2: night and shining off.
- 58:33Speaker 6: Of the cavalry to come over the hill. Women ain't
- 58:35Speaker 6: finna do that. I ain't finna get with you and
- 58:37Speaker 6: change your life, partner. So you got the ying and
- 58:41Speaker 6: the yang here. So I'm going a long way around
- 58:43Speaker 6: to talk about the different types of men that I
- 58:45Speaker 6: know now in this letter right here, I have a
- 58:48Speaker 6: different twist on it. Oh yeah, because I think she
- 58:54Speaker 6: is fine. But the way he's asking these questions, you know, see,
- 59:00Speaker 6: like even if you think a woman not your league.
- 59:02Speaker 6: If she kiss you on your neck? Why you learn
- 59:04Speaker 6: how to kiss from like that? You ain't never kissed me? Now,
- 59:07Speaker 6: we just we ain't been together that long. So much stuff,
- 59:10Speaker 6: it's way more stuff we ain't done. Hell, you talking
- 59:13Speaker 6: about you lick my teeth? Where you get that move from?
- 59:16Speaker 6: Steve said it on the radio.
- 59:18Speaker 9: Ah, you better throw yourself in it.
- 59:23Speaker 2: What is you doing in here with all this? Baby?
- 59:25Speaker 2: Or damn it? Steve said it on the radio. You
- 59:30Speaker 2: know you pick up things.
- 59:34Speaker 6: When I come back, though, I will tell you what
- 59:37Speaker 6: I really think is going on with this band here.
- 59:41Speaker 2: I know I'm right.
- 59:43Speaker 6: I have no chance of being wrong because I'm an expert,
- 59:49Speaker 6: an expert at manhood.
- 59:52Speaker 9: Okay, all right, we want to hear it.
- 59:55Speaker 11: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 59:57Speaker 11: twenty three minutes after the hour today Strubberry letter, subject
- 1:00:01Speaker 11: he has so many questions.
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: Lord, we'll get back into it right after this. You're listening.
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: Morning show?
- 1:00:09Speaker 11: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:12Speaker 11: The subject is he has so many questions?
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: Yeah, listen, I talked about the types of men. This
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: could be, I said in this letter. It could be
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: because he's dating a woman that's out of his league.
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: I know a guy like that, but he's asking the
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: wrong questions if she's out his league. You know, you
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: know why you don't never take a shower with me? Hey,
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: you can join in with me anytime. Why you don't
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: never take your clothes off in front of me? So
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: she stripped naked. Then she kissed him on his neck.
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: Who taught you how to kiss on the neck like that?
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: You ain't never kissed me in that spot before? Well,
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: she didn't miss most of the spots on your body.
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: I'm just tell you that right now. So okay, so
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: let's stop that out there. Then then he asked me,
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: who taught you how to do that? I told him
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: I was leaving right there. Then y'all got meant intimate,
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: and I was thrown off because he asked me, would
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: you would I ever give myself to anyone else in
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: the middle of it. I was so thrown off that
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: it ruined the moment we got back into the swing
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: of things. He asked me if I was his for
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: the rest of our lives? Boy, were dating? Damn it,
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: I don't know. I told him I was just trying
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: to get through what we was doing at the moment.
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: He got mad, got up, went to the bathroom. See look,
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: look this mindful. Look, I'm just trying to get through
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: with this, all this talking, and what you doing ain't
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: measuring up with the talking though you're doing it.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: You're talking and you ain't delivering. And I'm just tired.
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: So she got dressed and was headed out. Then he
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: asked if I was going home or to another guy's house.
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: I ignored him. He texted me to see if I
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: made it home. I ignored him. He tried to FaceTime me.
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: I ignored him. I ain't text him or talk to
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: him in three days. What's with all the questions? Well,
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: here's my conclusion with this letter. It ain't you out
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: of his league because you ain't heard from him in
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: three days. This is the gap he needed. This is
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: the gap he needed. Let me explain something to you.
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: My brother taught this to me when I was eighteen
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: years old. I had made a mistake one time, trying
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: to be a player. I went to this department store
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: at Christmas at make Company, and I was buying this
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: girl a turcose little bracelet. Well, you know, at Christmas time,
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: they have all that stuff in the middle of the
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: floor where if you buy one you get one free.
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: So I bought two. Whoa, It cost me about seventeen dollars,
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: got two Turkose bracelets, and I bought one for each
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: one of these girls. Put him in the box, and
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: I put a note in their name in each box.
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: Problem was, I put the wrong name in each box,
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: and I gave each girl the other girl's box. Say,
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: I'm seventeen eighteen at this point, freshman in college. You
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: all when they open up them boxes right there?
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: God? Who is.
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: So?
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: Then my brother taught me a valuable lesson, and I
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: think this is what's happening in this note. I called
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: my brother. I said, Brother, what I'm gonna do? He said, well,
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: you messed up, he said, but I'm gonna buy you
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: about forty eight hours.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: He said, what you could.
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: What I want you to do is call them and
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: accuse them of being messy, and you don't want to
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: have nothing to do with them, and you don't appreciate
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: them being unappreciative, and you tried to do the best
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: you can for them, and you don't have a lot
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: of money, and just talk to the one girl at
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: the time just like that. So I made the two
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: phone calls and it worked. It threw them off balance.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: They didn't know because they're young too. Now these ain't
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: no fault of your old women. So they young too,
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: so they the little throwed off balance. My brother taught
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: me something that day. He said, the best defense is
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: a good offense. So what that means is you gotta
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: stay on our fence and make them defensive.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: He said.
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: Now that's only gonna work for a little while. And
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: I believe that is what has happened in this letter
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: right here. What he playing all office, making her play defense.
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: You don't show me your clothes while you getting naked,
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: while you don't never shower with me? Who taught you
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: to kiss on the spot like that? While you're always
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: doing that?
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Who you calling? Where you at? FaceTime?
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: Me?
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: How come I don't believe you where you at? Or
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: you would you go over another guy's guy?
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: Is this mind?
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: For the rest of my life? How does it feel?
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: All this here?
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: He playing offense? He playing offense. Advice to you, young sister,
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: because you young, because ain't no grown woman do this here?
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: Listen to me going about your business. You have not
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: said one redeeming quality that this man has, except he
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: your boyfriend, that's all. He don't treat you good. He
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: don't do nothing for you. He just questioned you and
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: accuse you. Now you've ignored him and you ain't talked
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: to him for three days, but he ain't. Now has
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: he been texting you.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: And calling you for three days? Or have y'all just
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: not spoken?
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: If it's all right for him not to see or
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: hear from you for three days, you ain't got nothing,
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: no way, It's no way you can care about a
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: woman and not hear or talk to her for three days. Boy,
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: you know how much how many times you gonna call her?
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: In the words of Thomas Miles, if you don't have
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: eight hundred misscalls twelve hundred messages, he don't care.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: He don't care.
- 1:06:03Speaker 9: All right, post your comments. He's just playing Today's Strawberry Letter.

- 1:06:21Speaker 11: We got Junior and Sports Talk right after.
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: This you're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:28Speaker 9: All right, guys, it is time now for junior and
- 1:06:30Speaker 9: sports talk. Junior.
- 1:06:31Speaker 12: What you got?
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: All right, let's talk about it.
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: So you know, last week was opening Sunday, the first
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: game of the season, and Miami Dolphins player Tyreek Hill
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: was pulled over and detained by Miami police on Sunday,
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: moments before the season opener between the Dolphins and the Jaguars.
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: Tyreek was allegedly pulled over for speeding on his way
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: to the hard Rock Stadium for the season opener between
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: Miami and Jacksonville.
- 1:06:52Speaker 8: Now, the bodycam footage.
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: Of the incident has surface online, revealing Miami police officers
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: use excessive force and file language as they pulled Hill
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: from his vehicle. Hell was thrown onto the street, face
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: down and handcuffed as officers continued to curse at him.
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: Hill was eventually released by police to play in Sunday's game,
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: where he had the longest touchdown of his career.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: Now, did y'all have to.
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: See the body can foot that? Y'all look at this?
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: I saw yeah, said that this could have went sideways.
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: It was a possible. I mean he did with the police.
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: Black Man famous guy in a car that that you know,
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: this doc looked right. You know it's the Lamborghini and
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: he's out of his car. Now here's the thing he wrote.
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: He gave him the driver's license, and this what made
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: him upset, the police upset. He gave it and he
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: rolled his window back up. Yeah, you try to get
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: to the game. Yeah, now, he said, hey, hold on,
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: you'll just roll your window up.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:07:49Speaker 8: A couple of his teammates did stop to see what.
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: Was going on.
- 1:07:52Speaker 8: They tried to make them go on to the game
- 1:07:54Speaker 8: and say, hey, this is none of your business. They say, no,
- 1:07:56Speaker 8: we're not leaving him.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: Leaving him in hand handcuff. I saw they were one
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: of the teammates and handcuffs.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: So here's the thing. It looks like the police they
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: had little egos. The feelings got hurt.
- 1:08:08Speaker 10: Tyreek was you know, they got madder and madder as
- 1:08:12Speaker 10: they kept going. They got they just they just would
- 1:08:15Speaker 10: not They escalated.
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: It to me.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Yeah, their egos like they do.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll tell you this. I'll tell you this. If
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: this was at night, this would have gone. Man, that's
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: what I thought. This was at night. This wasn't in
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: broad daylight where everybody can see it. I promise you
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: this would have went wrong.
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: No, he admitted that he did some things that he
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: didn't do right. He said he didn't do it.
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: The best way is football is the season opening. So
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: you're like you just trying to get to work. So
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: I'm just glad it didn't go.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: The wrong way.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: Let's just say this because this is a scene we've
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: seen all too many times.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: If that wasn't Tyreek Hill, what would have happened?
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: Would have went?
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you already know which way.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: Again, that's what this is.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Vastly his knee in his back, yes, oh yeah, and
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: stay steady curshing that, you know.
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: And I'm just glad he olways saying and Tyrek Hill
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: just say I want the officer's side, yeah and rightless.
- 1:09:11Speaker 8: So just no conversation need to happen.
- 1:09:13Speaker 7: If it's a traffic stop, here's my license to my insurance,
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: go run it. Give them a ticket because I can go.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: It's always a debate with us about racing the police.
- 1:09:21Speaker 11: And you know, way we go again, always always all right, junior,
- 1:09:26Speaker 11: thank you. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:09:28Speaker 11: Woman needs some advice. This is from social media, she says,
- 1:09:31Speaker 11: her best friend had a baby with her ex boyfriend.
- 1:09:34Speaker 11: What we'll talk about that right after this.
- 1:09:37Speaker 9: You're listening.
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: Morning show, all right.
- 1:09:42Speaker 11: You know we're big PayPal fans here on the show,
- 1:09:45Speaker 11: and Try was just telling us about their new debit card.

- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: So this month I picked groceries because my teenage daughter

- 1:10:35Speaker 3: grocery store.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: They just stop buying, just do just pop up kickbacks?
- 1:10:40Speaker 12: What is that?
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: What if you gess girl, you all of usn't snakes.
- 1:10:46Speaker 11: Maybe now, maybe with the five percent cash back, you'll
- 1:10:49Speaker 11: be able to throw something in the cart for yourself.
- 1:10:51Speaker 9: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: Now that I can get behind all thanks to PayPal,
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: Earn cash back with a Pal debit card.

- 1:11:05Speaker 11: from Cheryl on Facebook. She needs some advice. She said
- 1:11:08Speaker 11: her best friend just had a baby. She's been with
- 1:11:12Speaker 11: her boyfriend for about nine months, so I just assumed
- 1:11:15Speaker 11: the baby was his. But this week she told me
- 1:11:18Speaker 11: that the father is my ex boyfriend. We've been broken
- 1:11:22Speaker 11: up for over two years, so she didn't have sex
- 1:11:26Speaker 11: with him when we were together. She said she's sorry
- 1:11:29Speaker 11: she didn't tell me before and begged me to forgive her,
- 1:11:32Speaker 11: which I did.
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: But now I'm wondering if I should be mad about this.
- 1:11:36Speaker 11: My ex and I had a pretty bad falling out
- 1:11:38Speaker 11: when we broke up, and she knows what a blank
- 1:11:41Speaker 11: he is.
- 1:11:42Speaker 9: Would you forgive a friend for sleeping with your ex?
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: That is the question.
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: You knew it.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: Well, but den, let me take that back.
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: Okay, Yeah, now that I thought about it, If you
- 1:11:59Speaker 6: sleep with my ex, I'm gonna buy your car. Make
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: sure the date can go real smooth for y'all. Yep,
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: buy your car, and I'm gonna give you monthly siphon.

- 1:13:01Speaker 9: Wow, that's a lot.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: She broke cold though, Yeah, you know.
- 1:13:08Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:13:09Speaker 11: She said she's trying to figure out if she should
- 1:13:11Speaker 11: be mad about this and if she's should she forgive
- 1:13:15Speaker 11: this friend she already forgave her.
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: She said, Well that's cool. I mean, you know she
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: can forgive her. I'm not that ain't what I do.
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: But you know, like I said, but in real life,
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: that's really hard for women to do. I think she's big,
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: you know, forgive you told.
- 1:13:29Speaker 9: You you know, yeah, broken up?
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't know, but.

- 1:16:15Speaker 9: I'm always analyzed everything.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: I don't want to get no money and died and
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: next day.
- 1:16:25Speaker 11: Or is it b' we're all aging right now for
- 1:16:30Speaker 11: you to every question.
- 1:16:32Speaker 10: Man, I don't want to look like I'm thirty and died,
- 1:16:35Speaker 10: died into I just learned.
- 1:16:37Speaker 9: We'll go to see, we'll come back to you.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: See.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: No, I just I don't know.
- 1:16:43Speaker 6: I don't take this money, okay, because depend on what
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: age they asked me this question.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Right, if you asked me this at thirty three?
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: Uh huh.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: You know we're asking you now.
- 1:16:58Speaker 6: Living in that damn car. The hell I want to
- 1:17:03Speaker 6: keep looking like him for your goal was to try
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: to look like I wouldn't holdless.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: That was my whole goal. All right.
- 1:17:13Speaker 11: Would you rather pay three thousand dollars every time you
- 1:17:16Speaker 11: insult someone? Or would you rather pay three thousand dollars
- 1:17:19Speaker 11: every time you lie to someone?
- 1:17:24Speaker 13: He be broke?
- 1:17:25Speaker 8: Either way, you are time over your mouth.
- 1:17:36Speaker 11: All right, I'm say insult okay, all right, because you
- 1:17:41Speaker 11: don't do that very often?
- 1:17:42Speaker 9: Okay, I mean that's what you thinks.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:17:51Speaker 10: Have you come up with an answer yet because insult though, well,
- 1:17:55Speaker 10: you know, three thousand dollars for every time I insult
- 1:17:57Speaker 10: a person, I just pay that, all right.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: I can pay three thousand every time I lie that that.
- 1:18:04Speaker 9: That that that will be like we said, all right,
- 1:18:09Speaker 9: would you rather.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: Have I'm out? I'm out a half million today?
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: They just started.
- 1:18:16Speaker 11: Yeah, would you rather morning sex or would you rather
- 1:18:20Speaker 11: have sex before bedtime?
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: Huh?
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: I think it gets my day going.
- 1:18:26Speaker 9: Yeah, the morning, okay, Junior, morning or bedtime?
- 1:18:31Speaker 11: Yeah, I have to say morning, morning okay, all right, Steve,
- 1:18:37Speaker 11: morning or nighttime?
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Rock me to sleep, put me out night wheel me? Yes,
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: all right?
- 1:18:46Speaker 11: Last one, guys, would you rather be half your height
- 1:18:50Speaker 11: or double your weight?
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: I'm not even I'm not doing Yeah, well, well we
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: know where you might as right. You're right, bring your
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: lit shall home. I ain't no work. You can be
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: half of that where we are now.
- 1:19:08Speaker 11: Coming up in forty nine minutes after it's our last
- 1:19:10Speaker 11: breaking off the day, and we'll close out the show
- 1:19:13Speaker 11: with the one hour Lee Steve Harvey.
- 1:19:15Speaker 9: Right after this, you're listening.
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: Morning Show.
- 1:19:19Speaker 11: All right, Steve, it it's time for your closing remarks. Remember,
- 1:19:22Speaker 11: we are praying for our friends and our neighbors in
- 1:19:25Speaker 11: Louisiana dealing with Hurricane Francine.
- 1:19:28Speaker 9: Yes for sure, coastline. Yeah, yeah, these storms are deadly, man.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Be careful, y'all, be careful.
- 1:19:39Speaker 6: Of course, we've paid a tribute to Frankie Beverly all morning,
- 1:19:43Speaker 6: and we've spoken rather highly of him. There's not enough.
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: We could say though, we could play the songs, we
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: can make the tributes, but it don't really tell the
- 1:19:54Speaker 6: story of who Frankie really was. Man. Culturally, I can't
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: even tell you. It's just he's too significant in the culture.
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: And yeah he would perform in London and out of
- 1:20:08Speaker 6: the country and everything. But let me just tell you
- 1:20:11Speaker 6: something flat out. Frankie Beverly belonged to us.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: He was ours. He was ours uniquely philosophically, musically, he
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: was ours period. That's probably I don't know. I guess
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: it is some others, you know, like the Old Jay's,
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: like the Isley's, you know like that. That was just the.
- 1:20:42Speaker 6: Temps, but the tempts were so crossover too. But when
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: I tell you, was just ours. He belonged to us.
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:20:54Speaker 6: We made him, and then he turned around and made us.
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: That dude right there, we are one. That dude came
- 1:21:05Speaker 6: out there. He just didn't understand that the fractioning of
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: us as a culture. He wrote songs about it. This
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: dude was something special. So thank you, brother for everything.
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: For all the years, with all the memories, all the moments,
- 1:21:28Speaker 6: all the feelings for them, golden times a day for them,
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: Southern Girls for that morning after. I can't man that
- 1:21:35Speaker 6: joined pain. The list is too long, man, some of
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: my favorite songs is made.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: Oh man, I can't even. I'm just off the top
- 1:21:47Speaker 6: of my head. I can't even touch it. Silky Soul album.
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: You don't even this stew Man was just next level,
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: next level. Condolences to his family, y'all heartbroken. Well, I
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: just want to share something with the family. It's a
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: lot of people heartbroken this morning, man, because y'all had
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: great family member. Who want to thank y'all for sharing
- 1:22:10Speaker 6: him with us. Really, man, just thank you, thank you
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: for letting Frankie be a part of us. You know,
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: not as much as he was for y'all. You know,
- 1:22:18Speaker 6: you were his family, his sons, his daughters, his brothers,
- 1:22:22Speaker 6: his sisters, and you know, his band members.
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: But y'all let us have a piece of them. We
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: appreciate it.
- 1:22:27Speaker 6: So, hey, y'all, listen to me. Keep your head up.
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: Life is filled with his twisting turns and it hits.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: All of us.
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: Don't be discouraged when life comes your way, because it
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: comes for all of us. All of us have to
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: experience it, So just prepare yourself for it. Stop getting
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: in the dolgence of life and wallowing in it and
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: staying there.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: Get up.
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: If you make a mistake, get up. If you did
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: something really bad to somebody, ask for forgiveness. If they
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: don't forgive you, ask God for forgiveness. Get up and
- 1:23:07Speaker 6: move on. Stop looking in the rearview mirror. Stop beating
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: yourself up about your past. Sow what you made a mistake.
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: You ain't the first person. This will not be your
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: last mistake. You ain't that person. But stop allowing people
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: to bring up your past to mess with who you
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: are now and who God is changing you into becoming.
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: Your past is nothing but your resume. It just shows
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: where you've been and what you've done. It has nothing
- 1:23:43Speaker 6: to do with who you are today and where God
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: is taking you. So stop stop allowing your resume to
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: beat you up. You ain't applying for a job in life.
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: See see it's different. If life was applying for a job,
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: your resume will determine whether you get the job or not.
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: But your resume in life, it just shows where you
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: being and what you did. It has nothing to do
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: with who you are today. It has nothing to do
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: with where you're going. Your resumey will not determine what
- 1:24:18Speaker 6: you can be. You can have the worst resume possible,
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: jail time, imprisonment, felonies. You can be a divorce he.
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: You can have walked out on your family. You can
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: have been walked out on. You could have been homeless,
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: you could have been despondent. You could have been broke.
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: You could file bankruptcy. You can get eviction notices, you
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: can get your car repot, you get all that. Man,
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: you could have hurt somebody really bad. Do you know
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: that God will forgive you anyway? Do you know that
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: God will pick you up and dust you off. Do
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: you know that you've done nothing so wrong? You haven't
- 1:25:00Speaker 6: fallen in a hole so deep that God can't come
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: get you. Man, you better get yourself up. Your resume
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: does nothing in this life. It show excepts tell your
- 1:25:12Speaker 6: story of where you were and what you did. It
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: has nothing to do with where you're going. You have
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: a future. You have a God that promises to be
- 1:25:23Speaker 6: with you, to protect you and to prosper you. That's
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: what I'm hanging on too. I suggest you do the same.
- 1:25:29Speaker 6: Those are my closes remarks today. Hey, listen, everybody talk
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: to God today. He would absolutely love to hear from you. Okay.
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: In the meantime, y'all stay in peace. God will and
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: we'll see y'all. Maw Okay, y'all have a good one today.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: I will.
