- 0:26Speaker 3: To I don't Joy, Yeah, Joy, you know you know.
- 1:24Speaker 4: You gotta turn. I can't have to turn the mouth turn,
- 1:43Speaker 4: probably got to turn mouth.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Water the water up? Come come on, you think I
- 2:02Speaker 2: sure will?
- 2:03Speaker 5: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 5: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey Man
- 2:11Speaker 5: got a radio show, borl borl boy. I can't even
- 2:16Speaker 5: tell you, man. I've been doing some thinking and and
- 2:22Speaker 5: one of the things that I wanted to mention today
- 2:25Speaker 5: to you as one of the principles of success, being
- 2:31Speaker 5: grateful at all times is difficult to do. Being grateful
- 2:40Speaker 5: at all times is very difficult to do. I find
- 2:45Speaker 5: that to be true with myself. Now there are others
- 2:48Speaker 5: that might be able to do it, but just from
- 2:51Speaker 5: talking and listening and living and learning, being grateful at
- 2:56Speaker 5: all times is difficult to do.
- 2:59Speaker 2: But it's necessary.
- 3:01Speaker 5: Because it's such an act of faith in knowing that
- 3:06Speaker 5: no matter what's going on, it's going to be alright.
- 3:11Speaker 5: And it's hard to see that when things are not
- 3:15Speaker 5: going in your favor when things have turned so dramatically
- 3:21Speaker 5: the other way, and it seems as though you're the
- 3:24Speaker 5: only one in the situation where you're involved with other people,
- 3:28Speaker 5: or someone got an accusation against you falsely, or somebody
- 3:32Speaker 5: trying to do something to you unjustifiably, whatever the case
- 3:35Speaker 5: may be. When it's happening to you, it does appear
- 3:40Speaker 5: to you that, oh, my goodness, man, this is horribly
- 3:45Speaker 5: one sided. So it is difficult. It's hard to do
- 3:50Speaker 5: to be grateful at all times, but it's so necessary.
- 3:54Speaker 5: And I just want to point out a couple of
- 3:56Speaker 5: things to you. First of all, the difficulty in being
- 4:01Speaker 5: grateful in hard times is that number one, the present circumstances.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Oftentimes it's just so pressing and so overwhelming that a
- 4:13Speaker 5: lot of your energy is devoted to trying to come
- 4:16Speaker 5: up with the solution for that, or trying to muster
- 4:19Speaker 5: the strength to whether the storm, or trying to just
- 4:22Speaker 5: brace yourself to try to get through it, and in
- 4:26Speaker 5: doing that, you don't It's hard to be grateful. It's
- 4:31Speaker 5: hard to be grateful in pain, and I know it is.
- 4:35Speaker 5: But here is the trick for me. This is what
- 4:39Speaker 5: I've had to learn how to do, and I guess
- 4:43Speaker 5: it takes practice to get here. It's not nothing you
- 4:46Speaker 5: just start doing right away. You got to practice it
- 4:48Speaker 5: in small increments to really get it. What I've always
- 4:52Speaker 5: had to say to myself and what I've learned to
- 4:54Speaker 5: say to myself is this is happening to me because
- 4:59Speaker 5: God is working me through something. This is happening to
- 5:03Speaker 5: me because it's some form of tests that I have
- 5:07Speaker 5: to pass in order to graduate to the next grade,
- 5:11Speaker 5: and that in order to be allowed to move to
- 5:13Speaker 5: the next level. This is happening to me because there's
- 5:18Speaker 5: something I need to purge my life, of my body,
- 5:22Speaker 5: of my spirit, of something's purging in me. And when
- 5:26Speaker 5: you purge something, it's it's painful. You know, It's like
- 5:30Speaker 5: a person getting off drugs. The withdrawal is agonizing. I've
- 5:36Speaker 5: been told and every documentary I've ever watched it it's
- 5:39Speaker 5: an agonizing process to go cold turkey, to withdraw, to
- 5:44Speaker 5: pull away after you've been doing something so long. And
- 5:48Speaker 5: so I know that this process is tough when you're
- 5:54Speaker 5: going through some pain, But when you're purging your system,
- 5:59Speaker 5: when you when you're having to pass a test, when
- 6:02Speaker 5: you're about to make when you're being made ready for
- 6:07Speaker 5: the next level, that moment right in there, in realizing
- 6:12Speaker 5: that that's what's happening, that's where you find the gratitude.
- 6:15Speaker 5: That's where I found the gratitude. I hope I'm explaining
- 6:19Speaker 5: this correctly. I'm gonna keep trying until I get it.
- 6:21Speaker 5: But that's where you find the gratitude. The second part
- 6:27Speaker 5: of it is.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Is that.
- 6:30Speaker 5: God has never left me in all the things I've done,
- 6:34Speaker 5: in all the mistakes I've made, all the lies I've told,
- 6:39Speaker 5: all the situations I've gotten myself into, from being greedy
- 6:43Speaker 5: and wanting too much for me at the expense sometimes
- 6:50Speaker 5: of other people, not doing it deliberately or in a
- 6:55Speaker 5: vindictive way, because I've never had that spirit. I'm not
- 6:59Speaker 5: a vindictive or mean person, but sometimes in my life,
- 7:04Speaker 5: in wanting to do what I wanted to do, I
- 7:07Speaker 5: didn't totally weigh out the cause and effect of the
- 7:11Speaker 5: other person. I mean, can I just be real with
- 7:13Speaker 5: you with that? I mean, how many times we'dne all
- 7:16Speaker 5: done that? Look, it doesn't it don't make you a
- 7:18Speaker 5: bad person. You know, good people do bad things all
- 7:23Speaker 5: the time. I just happened to have come to the
- 7:26Speaker 5: realization that unknowingly and not and not with malice intent
- 7:35Speaker 5: towards a person, I've hurt people looking at something I
- 7:40Speaker 5: wanted to do without really looking at what the cause
- 7:45Speaker 5: and effect would be on the other person. So in
- 7:48Speaker 5: doing some of these things, I've created situations for myself.
- 7:52Speaker 5: But God, through his grace and mercy, has allowed me
- 7:56Speaker 5: to even get beyond that. So when I'm saying that
- 8:00Speaker 5: God has never left me in spite of myself, He's
- 8:03Speaker 5: always gotten me through. So that's the other part of
- 8:07Speaker 5: it too. See that no matter what you're going through,
- 8:10Speaker 5: you've got to understand that God has always gotten you
- 8:13Speaker 5: through it. Now has any Now that may not be
- 8:15Speaker 5: the way you want it or the way you liked,
- 8:17Speaker 5: But guess what, you can't do wrong and not pay
- 8:21Speaker 5: for that. Now that that's not how this works, that's
- 8:23Speaker 5: never going to be the case. But the great thing
- 8:26Speaker 5: about God is he fires warning shots at us all
- 8:29Speaker 5: the time. He gives us an opportunity to stop. You know,
- 8:33Speaker 5: He don't fully punish us right away every time we
- 8:35Speaker 5: do something wrong.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Now does it?
- 8:38Speaker 5: You know eventually you're going to get caught doing whatever
- 8:41Speaker 5: it is you're doing. You do understand that, don't you.
- 8:44Speaker 5: But the first time, that close call, that was a
- 8:47Speaker 5: warning shot for you to stop. Look, I know you're
- 8:50Speaker 5: not perfect. I know we all sin us down here,
- 8:53Speaker 5: so I know you're gonna make mistakes.
- 8:54Speaker 2: One time.
- 8:55Speaker 5: I know you was looking at her when you weren't
- 8:57Speaker 5: supposed to. I know you said something to him when
- 8:59Speaker 5: you wasn't supposed to. I know you got with her
- 9:02Speaker 5: when you know you wasn't supposed to. And I know
- 9:04Speaker 5: you got with him when you know you wasn't supposed to.
- 9:07Speaker 5: So I tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm a
- 9:08Speaker 5: fire warning shot, and maybe you'll slow your roll this time.
- 9:12Speaker 5: But we keep on though. See see, see that's what happens.
- 9:15Speaker 5: See we just keep on and then the next thing,
- 9:18Speaker 5: you know, we get caught. Now, Oh Lord, have mercy.
- 9:22Speaker 5: I want out of this.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:23Speaker 5: Well, see, you done dug this hole pretty deep, and
- 9:26Speaker 5: he gonna get you out. But it's some things that's
- 9:29Speaker 5: got to go down now because you didn't pay attention
- 9:32Speaker 5: to the warning shot. See, had you stopped the first time,
- 9:34Speaker 5: you felt bad about it and said you wasn't gonna
- 9:37Speaker 5: do it no more, the situation wouldn't be as critical
- 9:40Speaker 5: but because we don't stop, and we go again.
- 9:42Speaker 6: But God always forgives, He always allows us to get
- 9:48Speaker 6: back up again. He always gives us a mercy. He
- 9:53Speaker 6: always gives.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Us his grace. He always does that.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of the con
- 10:15Speaker 5: Anybody out there that's struggling with any health issues. Just
- 10:21Speaker 5: want you to know that God is in the healing business.
- 10:24Speaker 5: He has done it time and time again, over and
- 10:27Speaker 5: over and over.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Nothing too hard for God.
- 10:32Speaker 5: I don't know what made me say that today, but
- 10:34Speaker 5: somebody might need to hear that there's nothing too hard
- 10:38Speaker 5: for God.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Get your faith up, Let's go to work.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Steve Harven Mortis Show, Sheldon Strawberry calling Forrell Mississippi, Monica Jr.
- 10:46Speaker 5: And the Legend of Nephew Tommy Faith up. Well, Junior,
- 10:50Speaker 5: what's happening today?
- 10:51Speaker 2: Man?
- 10:53Speaker 7: You know, Thanksgivings over now, You're in your favorite part
- 10:55Speaker 7: of the year.
- 10:56Speaker 8: Man, Christmas? Is this your thing right here? Just wanted
- 10:59Speaker 8: to do it for you, you.
- 11:01Speaker 5: Know, Man, Christmas has been my favorite holiday since I
- 11:06Speaker 5: was a child. But I do this annual thing in
- 11:11Speaker 5: my rants while I bring in my frat brothers, my
- 11:14Speaker 5: homies that I've been knowing for over fifty years. Who
- 11:20Speaker 5: and that's like a that's like a brand new Christmas
- 11:23Speaker 5: for me. Now Do I have more fun with them
- 11:26Speaker 5: than I do at the house for the holiday?
- 11:27Speaker 2: Yep?
- 11:28Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you be honest, Yeah I do, man, because
- 11:35Speaker 5: I we talk like we want to talk.
- 11:38Speaker 2: We we do things.
- 11:40Speaker 5: We got a lot in common, you know, and just
- 11:44Speaker 5: we're telling stories and yeah, but Christmas is here.
- 11:48Speaker 2: What's your question? Don't you what I'm saying?
- 11:52Speaker 7: Because you know, like for you, man, you know you've
- 11:54Speaker 7: seen so many of these Christmas, You've done so many things.
- 11:57Speaker 7: What's your favorite part about Christmas? What are you really
- 12:00Speaker 7: spend your time doing in the holiday?
- 12:01Speaker 2: Really? Truly?
- 12:02Speaker 4: Man?
- 12:03Speaker 2: For me, it is the giving. It is the giving,
- 12:08Speaker 2: you know.
- 12:08Speaker 9: Man.
- 12:08Speaker 5: Somebody asked me the other day, mister Harvey, can I
- 12:12Speaker 5: ask you a question? Are you happy? And I struggle
- 12:16Speaker 5: to answer that question because my happiness is tied to
- 12:21Speaker 5: other people's happiness. I'm most happy when I make my
- 12:28Speaker 5: wife happy, when I see her smiling. I'm most happy
- 12:33Speaker 5: when I see my children, who I've given support to,
- 12:37Speaker 5: I see them thriving. When I'm able to help them
- 12:41Speaker 5: when they call me. I'm happiest man now when I
- 12:44Speaker 5: see my grandkids playing and stuff that I know I'm
- 12:48Speaker 5: directly responsible for. So it is that that makes me
- 12:56Speaker 5: the happiest because somebody just asks me. As a matter
- 12:58Speaker 5: of fact, a person that asked me walked in to
- 13:01Speaker 5: the studio just now. So, mister Harvey, you happy, and
- 13:07Speaker 5: all of my happiness is tied to other people. That's
- 13:11Speaker 5: that's amazing. Now, When am I happy? If you see
- 13:17Speaker 5: me fishing, I'm happy. If you see me what you
- 13:25Speaker 5: won't riding across my property on my ranch with a cigar,
- 13:31Speaker 5: chances are I'm happy?
- 13:35Speaker 2: Nice all right?
- 13:38Speaker 10: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:41Speaker 10: hear from the nephew as he runs that prank back

- 15:03Speaker 12: the one I tell I tellt you you parked it.
- 15:05Speaker 12: And then when I came back, you the one brought
- 15:07Speaker 12: my car back, and I tept you, I know you
- 15:09Speaker 12: the one put them miles on my car.
- 15:11Speaker 13: On man, hold on, wait, wait, hold on, hold on?
- 15:12Speaker 9: Who is this?
- 15:13Speaker 12: My name is Jason Man Jason.
- 15:16Speaker 13: Jason, why didn't you get my numbers?
- 15:17Speaker 12: I got your number from the hotel manager. I told
- 15:20Speaker 12: him I needed a folk the Curtis who do the
- 15:22Speaker 12: ballet parker, and they gave me your number. You the
- 15:25Speaker 12: one put these miles. Man, you put a hundred miles on.
- 15:27Speaker 13: The I ain't hold I ain't putting up miles in
- 15:29Speaker 13: your cart.
- 15:29Speaker 12: Man.
- 15:30Speaker 13: That's all I do is just get the cars and
- 15:32Speaker 13: park and that shit I ain't ain't. I ain't taking
- 15:34Speaker 13: no change to nobody car, even the one took.
- 15:36Speaker 12: My change I had. I had three d Jakes in
- 15:39Speaker 12: there in the in the in the c player. When
- 15:41Speaker 12: I got in there, it was a biggest smiles or
- 15:43Speaker 12: somebody in there. You the one was in my car. Man, Man,
- 15:46Speaker 12: I don't.
- 15:46Speaker 13: Even know how to work that radio. And there, man,
- 15:48Speaker 13: look what I probably plunk your car because I parked
- 15:52Speaker 13: a whole lot of cars and I just we you
- 15:55Speaker 13: can gill you. Maybe somebody else probably took your car
- 15:58Speaker 13: and drove it around.
- 15:59Speaker 12: But I don't know. We can work at the hotel
- 16:03Speaker 12: and do vallet parking. How many am I like?
- 16:05Speaker 13: Hey, you don't working? Didn't do by that parking? But
- 16:07Speaker 13: that's all I do is park the cars. I don't
- 16:09Speaker 13: tell nobody car and driving around the town. I'm steal nothing
- 16:11Speaker 13: from the car. Ain't no thief. Man.
- 16:13Speaker 12: Hey man, let me tell you something. Man, I know
- 16:15Speaker 12: you the one put these miles on here you hear me.
- 16:17Speaker 12: I know you was the one man put.
- 16:19Speaker 13: That hold on, hold on man, Look look look man,
- 16:21Speaker 13: I'm on probation right now, right so, I mean, ain't

- 16:26Speaker 13: I'm just I'm just part time job man, just parking
- 16:29Speaker 13: call them, trying to take care of me and my
- 16:30Speaker 13: little girl.
- 16:31Speaker 9: That's it.
- 16:31Speaker 13: I'm telling you. If somebody did take your car and
- 16:33Speaker 13: drive it around or steal something from your car, we
- 16:35Speaker 13: can we can figure out. You know what I'm talking
- 16:37Speaker 13: about that you just bring the car and you're just
- 16:39Speaker 13: telling them. We could talk to the managers and figure
- 16:41Speaker 13: it out. But I promise you, I promise.
- 16:42Speaker 9: You wasn't me.
- 16:43Speaker 12: Man, how mambles you?
- 16:44Speaker 13: If you just don't look it, you know, we'll find
- 16:46Speaker 13: out what happened with your car.
- 16:47Speaker 12: You the one did it, man, You the one put
- 16:49Speaker 12: the hundred miles on my car. You had that Red
- 16:52Speaker 12: Bess song, you had that name tag see curtains. You

- 17:14Speaker 12: you put that hundred miles on it. I'm gonna come

- 22:49Speaker 10: He is a gentleman, and I apologize for him, but

- 23:08Speaker 5: if it ain't your man, because the world ain't built
- 23:11Speaker 5: like that. But now you defended your man. He is
- 23:14Speaker 5: a gentleman. But she kept coming for him. That's ignorant.
- 23:18Speaker 5: That's ignorant, and you should not participate in ignorance because

- 23:40Speaker 5: He ain't want you to get into it on his
- 23:42Speaker 5: behalf with this woman that ain't in y'all's life. Now,
- 23:45Speaker 5: if it was your mama at the door, then we
- 23:47Speaker 5: got a different situation.
- 23:50Speaker 10: All right, Celo. Up next is Wyatt in Brooklyn. Wyatt writes,
- 23:54Speaker 10: I'm not working right now, but I can pay most
- 23:57Speaker 10: of the household bills with savings and my unemployment check.
- 24:01Speaker 10: I got a big sum of money from my uncle's estate,
- 24:04Speaker 10: and I didn't tell my wife and I don't want to.
- 24:07Speaker 10: Is withholding info just as bad as lying?
- 24:12Speaker 2: It is nothing. It ain't even the same thing.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Though it's two different things.
- 24:16Speaker 5: God no, no, no, no, no, no no, it's withholding
- 24:20Speaker 5: information same as lying.
- 24:22Speaker 2: How could that be? You just didn't.
- 24:25Speaker 5: Tell her lying untruthful fact because she don't need to know.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Well, that's not for you, because she don't spe in

- 24:42Speaker 5: I'm telling you why he didn't tell her about this money.
- 24:46Speaker 5: He got this large some money he didn't tell his wife.
- 24:49Speaker 5: You have got to keep some stuff to yourself. Let
- 24:52Speaker 5: me ask you, lady something. Since y'all sitting over there
- 24:54Speaker 5: trying to act all righteous and everything, don't y'all have
- 24:58Speaker 5: some money somewhere your man and don't know about? Yes,
- 25:01Speaker 5: you do, no comment? Yes, your caller, don't be looking off.
- 25:09Speaker 5: Huh what'd your mama say? If you can hum me,
- 25:13Speaker 5: you can hear me. You have some money somewhere that
- 25:18Speaker 5: your husband don't know about. My wife got some money
- 25:21Speaker 5: somewhere I don't know about.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Proud I got some money somewhere. You're right, What if his.
- 25:28Speaker 10: Wife finds out that he got this large settlement from
- 25:32Speaker 10: the family.
- 25:33Speaker 8: I don't have that happened to?
- 25:36Speaker 1: What happened?
- 25:37Speaker 2: What?
- 25:38Speaker 10: How did you get out of that? I ain't tell no, lie,
- 25:44Speaker 10: Oh you just didn't say anything. What happened?
- 25:47Speaker 2: Oh that's right, God, I ain't tell you. I'll be
- 25:55Speaker 2: just as surprised.
- 25:57Speaker 5: Hey, let me tell you something, man, I got a
- 25:59Speaker 5: law dodge amount and did not mention.
- 26:03Speaker 10: Yeah, m hm, so you weren't planning on sharing it
- 26:08Speaker 10: or anything anything.
- 26:11Speaker 2: She won't start.
- 26:16Speaker 5: It's okay, got plenty, let me have. Let me sit
- 26:20Speaker 5: on this for a minute and see how I feel.
- 26:22Speaker 1: M okay, all right.
- 26:24Speaker 10: Moving on to Monty in Atlanta, Monty writes, my mother
- 26:29Speaker 10: and I my mother in law called me and asked
- 26:31Speaker 10: why I'm not happy about coming to dinner at her house.
- 26:34Speaker 10: My wife shouldn't have told her that, but since she did.
- 26:39Speaker 10: I told my mother in law that I don't like
- 26:41Speaker 10: her dog. She uninvited me, and I'm so happy, but
- 26:44Speaker 10: my wife is trying to make me go anyway, I
- 26:48Speaker 10: was uninvited.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Do I have to go?
- 26:52Speaker 2: Okay? Now, let me get this right. His mother in
- 26:56Speaker 2: law asked his okay, called.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Asked him why didn't he want to go to dinner
- 27:02Speaker 1: at her house?
- 27:03Speaker 9: Oh?
- 27:03Speaker 2: And then he said, because I don't like your dog.
- 27:05Speaker 5: Because mother in law she uninvited him. Now a wife
- 27:11Speaker 5: wants you to go anyway? Do I have to go? Yeah,
- 27:14Speaker 5: you're probably gonna.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Have to go.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Do you think he's still gonna have to go?
- 27:19Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:19Speaker 5: But now, if the mama done uninvited you, then you
- 27:22Speaker 5: got to call up and make an apology and then
- 27:25Speaker 5: get reinvited. But you're not going over to the girl
- 27:28Speaker 5: mama house. You don't even know the hell you're fit
- 27:31Speaker 5: to start. You don't go over there? Yes, but what
- 27:34Speaker 5: if you don't.
- 27:34Speaker 10: I mean, it's about a dog though, It's just not
- 27:37Speaker 10: that he doesn't like the mother.
- 27:39Speaker 2: You just said, he don't like the dog.
- 27:41Speaker 10: That means the dog is messing with him or something.
- 27:43Speaker 10: I mean, you know, I don't know if.
- 27:45Speaker 2: It's a little annoying dog or it's a big dog
- 27:47Speaker 2: and he.
- 27:47Speaker 5: Afraid of him. But I don't know what it is.
- 27:52Speaker 5: But you know all these people with these dogs. Like
- 27:55Speaker 5: when people come over my house and they say, hey, man,
- 27:57Speaker 5: I'm afraid of your dog. Cool I put the dog
- 28:00Speaker 5: going there, man, because I don't want nobody.
- 28:03Speaker 2: I don't comfort with No.
- 28:05Speaker 5: He ain't free to walk around, You ain't human, you
- 28:07Speaker 5: ain't brought nothing up in here. Plus I don't have
- 28:13Speaker 5: people over my house. I don't like no way. So
- 28:15Speaker 5: if you're over there and you don't like you, probably
- 28:17Speaker 5: gonna meet bath. And if he don't know you, you're
- 28:20Speaker 5: you're You're in a situation. You're you're in I have adobe, man,
- 28:23Speaker 5: you're in a situation. If he don't know you.

- 28:28Speaker 5: He know who supposed to be over there, and he
- 28:31Speaker 5: knows who know he very intelligent dog. Now, if you're
- 28:35Speaker 5: over there and he don't know you, yeah, you got you.
- 28:37Speaker 5: You're in a situation.
- 28:39Speaker 1: What's gonna happen if he doesn't know you and you're there.
- 28:43Speaker 5: We have a family protection dog. He ain't just over.
- 28:46Speaker 5: He ain't no pet.
- 28:47Speaker 1: What if you have guessed? I mean, yeah, you have somebody.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Over there, he's put away.
- 28:56Speaker 5: Or if you're over the house and you around us,
- 28:59Speaker 5: he know, oh they sitting in here talking.
- 29:02Speaker 2: They cool.
- 29:03Speaker 5: He gonna go up and smell you and going about
- 29:04Speaker 5: his business and then he remembers you.
- 29:07Speaker 2: But that's it. Now. If you in that.

- 29:33Speaker 1: Wow?
- 29:34Speaker 2: You know all right?
- 29:35Speaker 1: We have one more.
- 29:36Speaker 10: This is our last one. This is from Taylor and Carrollton.
- 29:39Speaker 10: Taylor writes, I got stood up twice by the same man.
- 29:42Speaker 10: He's a doctor and he was on call both times.
- 29:45Speaker 10: I want to excuse it since he was seeing patients.
- 29:47Speaker 10: But if he cared about seeing me, why did he
- 29:49Speaker 10: schedule a date both times he was on call? Is
- 29:52Speaker 10: he even trying?
- 29:54Speaker 2: Are you crazy? Do you have me in a doctor works?
- 29:57Speaker 2: He are called?
- 29:59Speaker 5: He car every day in the life saving business. Why
- 30:03Speaker 5: would he schedule a date when he on call? What
- 30:07Speaker 5: just cause you're on call don't mean you go get called.
- 30:09Speaker 5: But if you do get called, you got to go
- 30:11Speaker 5: to work. You don't need to date nobody in.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Everybody.
- 30:23Speaker 10: Yeah, all right, Madia, thank you, Cela. At the top

- 30:55Speaker 1: It was wonderful and beautiful.
- 30:57Speaker 14: It was breezy outside, Andy see, but we had a

- 32:41Speaker 11: you are? You know, So.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Every time I carried in the kitchen.
- 32:46Speaker 11: Every time I came in the kitchen. I catch him

- 53:14Speaker 15: doesn't really work with country music. You know what I'm said,
- 53:18Speaker 15: we play R and D. It's not our genre.
- 53:21Speaker 13: Well, I got how got.

- 53:59Speaker 15: what we do and what we play.

- 54:03Speaker 9: in my life, not playing problem playing Guardbrooks Chris Staples
- 54:07Speaker 9: and Jason now Dain Brooks and Nuns, Blake Shelton, Cole
- 54:11Speaker 9: Swim Dadel Lady. Ay, you don't sit here and tell
- 54:15Speaker 9: me you can't play none of these songs. I want
- 54:19Speaker 9: you to get on the stage and sing these songs
- 54:22Speaker 9: that we want do. We ain't got time to find
- 54:24Speaker 9: another group, everybody. I don't know.
- 54:26Speaker 15: I don't get about your stupid party. You know what
- 54:29Speaker 15: I'm saying. You came to us to play music.
- 54:31Speaker 9: And then we told you what we do right now.

- 54:45Speaker 15: my band, all right, because this is going this is
- 54:48Speaker 15: going unnecessary too far. You know what I'm saying. Maybe
- 54:50Speaker 15: we could make it work, all right.

- 54:55Speaker 9: bass player?

- 56:44Speaker 11: got it for you. Here it is strawberry letter.
- 56:48Speaker 10: Thanking a for you subject where should I sit? There's
- 56:51Speaker 10: Steven Shirley. I'm a fifty five year old married woman
- 56:55Speaker 10: and my husband is currently going through a very disrespectful
- 56:58Speaker 10: stage of life. He thinks he's a scholar and a comedian,
- 57:02Speaker 10: and he is flirtatious with younger women, my son's girlfriend
- 57:07Speaker 10: in particular. I've heard my husband congratulate my son on
- 57:11Speaker 10: pulling someone so fine and asking questions like where does
- 57:15Speaker 10: she work work out? And is her mama as fine
- 57:19Speaker 10: as she is? I thought it was father son bonding,
- 57:23Speaker 10: but he has gotten worse. We had a Memorial Day
- 57:26Speaker 10: get together and my son's girlfriend came over with her
- 57:29Speaker 10: little girl.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Excuse me.
- 57:31Speaker 10: The little girl was attached to me because she said
- 57:34Speaker 10: I reminded her of her grandmother. The girlfriend was walking
- 57:37Speaker 10: around with a plate on the patio and all the
- 57:40Speaker 10: seats were taken, and she asked my husband where should
- 57:44Speaker 10: I sit. My super ignorant husband said I know where
- 57:49Speaker 10: you can sit, and I almost jumped up and tackled him.
- 57:52Speaker 1: He had a dirty old.
- 57:53Speaker 10: Man look on his face and the girlfriend was smiling
- 57:56Speaker 10: from ear to ear. So I loudly told him to
- 57:59Speaker 10: sit his ass down somewhere. Immediately, he got bristly with
- 58:06Speaker 10: me and we had a screaming match in front of
- 58:09Speaker 10: our guests. He said he wasn't flirting and it was
- 58:12Speaker 10: a joke. I took a lot. I take a lot
- 58:15Speaker 10: of mess from him, but I don't have to tolerate
- 58:17Speaker 10: this in my house. My son is in support of
- 58:20Speaker 10: his father because maybe he doesn't know my husband was
- 58:23Speaker 10: implying something nasty when he said that to his girlfriend.
- 58:27Speaker 1: My husband is.
- 58:28Speaker 10: Waiting for me to apologize, and I did not do
- 58:31Speaker 10: anything wrong. The girl was at our house again last
- 58:34Speaker 10: night and she was acting funny too. What's going on
- 58:38Speaker 10: with my husband? Did I overreact? Or is my husband
- 58:41Speaker 10: playing me for a fool? Please help? Well, I don't
- 58:45Speaker 10: think your husband's playing you for a fool. I don't
- 58:47Speaker 10: think that. Did you overreact? Well maybe you did, but
- 58:51Speaker 10: you know, I just tell you don't second guess yourself
- 58:54Speaker 10: if you think something was going on, if you were
- 58:56Speaker 10: feeling something. You know how we are with our intuition
- 59:00Speaker 10: and all of that. We know how with other women
- 59:02Speaker 10: are at our house and if they're flirting with our
- 59:05Speaker 10: men and all of that. I mean, you know, you
- 59:08Speaker 10: probably were right about your husband's response to his son's
- 59:11Speaker 10: disrespectful girlfriend.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Where do I sit? And he goes, I know where
- 59:15Speaker 1: you can sit?
- 59:16Speaker 10: Did he show her a seat or did he just
- 59:18Speaker 10: say that you said he had a dirty old man
- 59:20Speaker 10: look on his face. I just think you know, it
- 59:22Speaker 10: was too bad your husband was flirting with this young
- 59:24Speaker 10: lady and allowed this kind of foolishness to go down.
- 59:28Speaker 10: And the fact that you guys got into a screaming
- 59:30Speaker 10: match at the house.
- 59:32Speaker 1: What was that about.
- 59:34Speaker 10: No, I mean I think he was feeling guilty at
- 59:37Speaker 10: this point because he knew that he was flirting with
- 59:40Speaker 10: this young girl. I don't think there's no other way
- 59:43Speaker 10: for you to take it except that he was low key,
- 59:46Speaker 10: I don't know, kind of hitting on her. I just say,
- 59:48Speaker 10: who does this type of thing in front of their
- 59:50Speaker 10: wife at the house. I think he was out of order.
- 59:54Speaker 10: And no, you shouldn't be expected to apologize to him.
- 59:57Speaker 10: You weren't the one who said this to the guests.
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: Your husband was, and he flipped it. Now you're feeling guilty.
- 1:00:03Speaker 10: Now you're feeling like you should apologize, and you overreacted.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I think you're dead.
- 1:00:08Speaker 10: On your spot on and I think you need to
- 1:00:11Speaker 10: talk to your son too, because he sided with his dad,
- 1:00:14Speaker 10: your husband, against you on this one.
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: Steve oft times agree with a lot of things, and
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: Shirley has given some answers that I have been in
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: total agreement with. I think she does a fine job
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: with her segment on the Strawberry Letter, but sometimes she
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: fails in her obligation miserably, and this is the one
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: time that I think she has failed. Surely you made
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: some statements in this I can't believe you made it.
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: The girl has not been disrespectful in here at all.
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: The girl ain't did nothing nothing. By saying where should
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: I sit? Was not being disrespectful. Let me go through
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: this letter so I can save this marriage before Sureley
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: and another one.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Oh to break up.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Uh you might as well.
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: Uh you're fifty six years old, lady, and uh, she
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: says her husband's currently going through a very disrespectful stage
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: of life. Your son has a girlfriend, and you've heard
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: your son your husband congratulate your son on pulling somebody
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: so fine, asking questions like where she work out and
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: as her mama's fine as she is. Now, let me
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: say something. When my sons come home with a fine one.
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: You know, I'm a I'm on their Instagram with her dad.
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: I want you to meet this girl what she look like,
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: because I know they know so that they got ig
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: page and all this head and I'm looking at me
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: and I'll live vicariously through my boys, because.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: I mean, boy, I'm talking about whoo. Come on, come through.
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: Boy, come through, sons.
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: You know I've said stuff like you better be a
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: hoggy showing what you're working with. Come on, boy, I
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: see you lord, and have mercy.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: Girl.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: I've asked a little girl, girl, you ever had thanks
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: giving us and some well off people house?
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: You know, stuff like that. You know, but so I
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: know what he's doing.
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: Uh.
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: I thought it was father's son bonding, but he has
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: gotten worse. I had a mamoul day gathering. Son's girlfriend
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: came over with her little girl. The little girl was
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: attracted to me because she said you reminded her of
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: her grandmother. The girlfriend was walking around with a plate
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: on the patio and all the seats were taken, and
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: she asked my husband where should I sit? That wasn't
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: being disrespectful, you said. She was walking around the patio
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: and all the seats were taken. She said, where should
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: I sit? My superdiggaant husband said, I know where you
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: can sit. Yeah, don't almost jump. We come back. I
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: straighten it out for.
- 1:03:06Speaker 10: At twenty three minutes after the hour, we'll come back
- 1:03:09Speaker 10: to recap the Strawberry letter right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:13Speaker 10: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:20Speaker 14: Christmas is a time for joy, and joy is most
- 1:03:22Speaker 14: powerful when it's shared at the Salvation Army. Your twenty

- 1:03:43Speaker 14: org or at a red Kettle near you that Salvation
- 1:03:46Speaker 14: Army USA dot org.
- 1:03:48Speaker 10: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:51Speaker 10: The subject is where should I sit?
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: This woman who's fifty five's married to this man, she said,
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: going through a very what did she call it, disrespectful
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: stage in life, and especially when it comes to his
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: son's girlfriend. We bought over to the house and she banged.
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: She fine, so he asked her questions, like where you
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: work out?
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: You know, you know.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: What is your mama as fine as she is?
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: Hell yeah, hell yeah, I'll tell you right now.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I can tell you right now here. Yes, you're fine.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: And daddy thought that, and you thought it was father's
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: son bonding but didn't. Got worse. The girl came over
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: for memorrow. They bought a little girl.
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: The little girl was attracted to her mother because the
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: lady wrote the letter, because you minded her grandmama. And
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: girlfriend was walking around with a plate on the patio
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: and all the seats were taken. The lady said, all
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: the seats was taken, so she asked my husband where
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: should I sit? My super ignorant husband said, I know
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: where you can sit. Oh, I know where you can sit.
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: I know how I said it, SI, So you want
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: to sit?
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Huh.
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: I almost jumped up and tackled him. He had a
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: dirty old man look on his face, and the girlfriend
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: was smiling from ear to ear. He's flattering his son's
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: girlfriend publicly in front of everyone. Now it's this bad judgment. Yep,
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: it's just being done in poor taste, yep. But he's
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: doing it in front of everybody, so he don't really
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: see the harm in it. So I loudly told him
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: to sit his down some way. Immediately he got bristly
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: with me. Hold up, no, hell are you hollering at
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: And we had a screaming match in front of our guests.
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: He said he wasn't flirting and it was a joke.
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: Now I believe that he wasn't flirting, but it was
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: a joke. Is it in poor taste?
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: What's the timing of it bad? Yes, But this joke
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: was done in front of everybody. He ain't pulling off
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: to the side trying to meet up with the girl.
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: He did this in front of everybody. I take a
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: lot of mess from him, but I don't have to
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: tolerate this in my house. My son is in support
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: of his father because maybe he don't know my husband
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: was implying something nasty when he said that to his girlfriend. No,
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: he wasn't implying something nasty. He was implying something escape.
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: He not being nasty with his son's girlfriend. Your husband
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: shouldn't have said it that way, and it's poor taste
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: and bad timing. But I know people that tell bad
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: distaste for jokes all the time, and I really think
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: this is one of those times. And he ain't upset
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: with his father because he know where his father coming from.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: And plus you don't know what you're not privy to.
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: It's a conversation to him and his daddy have when
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: you ain't around, because father and son's conversation is not
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: for the mothers. I can just tell y'all that right now,
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: what I say to Winter, Jason and Stevie that this
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: cannot be said in front of his sisters and his mama.
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: So he didn let one out in front of you.
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: That's what happened. Now, Shirley says, trust your heart and everything.
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: And this disrespectful girl walking around your house. The girl
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: has done nothing.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: She just walking.
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: Around straight up fire. And if you got to be penalized.
- 1:07:30Speaker 8: For being fun?
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: No, you now that's exactly what you said.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Yeah I did. I did because she asked. She didn't
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: have to. She walking around with a plate, flouncing around.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: All the seats are taken.
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: No, she flounces around cause she fine, it ain't flouncing
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: it just do what it do?
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: Its shaped like that, could it.
- 1:07:59Speaker 10: Move like he flirts with younger women and his girlfriend
- 1:08:03Speaker 10: in particular, so he was flirting.
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: No, surely listen, that's what he said. He wasn't flirting,
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: and it was a joke. I take a lot of
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: mess from but I don't tolerate this to my how
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: my son is imported his father because he don't know
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: my husband implying something nasty when he said that to
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: his girlfriend. My husband is waiting for me to apologize.
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: And I did not do anything wrong. The girl was
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: at our house again last night and she was acting
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: funny too.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: The reason she acted.
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: Funny was because the last time she was over there,
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: y'all had a screaming and shouting match and she feels
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: like it was at her because everything was directed at her.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Oh whatever.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: We're doing that, she said, all the barbecue plates. Now,
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: little fine mama that came up in there, you know,
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: see his mama. Girl that wrote the letter, she's been
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: in fifty five more day outings, all jealousy fifty five
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: look good on the lot.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Of Yeah Yeah.

- 1:10:50Speaker 10: The Strawberry letter subject today was where should I Sit?
- 1:10:54Speaker 10: It was from a fifty five year old woman who
- 1:10:57Speaker 10: wrote in because her husband is currently going through she
- 1:11:01Speaker 10: called a disrespectful, very disrespectful stage of life.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: He's being very flirtatious.
- 1:11:07Speaker 10: With younger women and his son's girlfriend in particular, they
- 1:11:11Speaker 10: had a barbecue. The young lady was there carrying a
- 1:11:13Speaker 10: plate and she asked where could she sit? And the
- 1:11:17Speaker 10: woman said, her super ignorant husband said, oh, I know
- 1:11:20Speaker 10: where you can sit.
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: And it started a very loud fight and argument in
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: front of all the guests guests, and I realized, I said,
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: I know the guy that was distasteful what he said
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: in the time. It was all but people make distasteful
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: jokes all the time, they just don't know it. But
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: I don't think this man is trying to make a
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: pass at the girl. I think he's just like doing
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: a dirty old man joke and it's just a wrong
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: place in time.
- 1:11:50Speaker 10: Yeah, his house in front of his wife is his
- 1:11:54Speaker 10: son's girlfriend, and in front of everyone.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: He said it, and in front of everybody. But then
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: she jumped up and went off on the man in
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: front of everybody. They had a loud screaming match.
- 1:12:06Speaker 5: And I think that she should have said, excuse me,
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: can I talk to you for a second and pull
- 1:12:11Speaker 5: him to the side and checked it.
- 1:12:13Speaker 10: But I was to say he said, well, he said
- 1:12:15Speaker 10: in front of everyone, right, but she pulled him to
- 1:12:20Speaker 10: the side.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: Listen to me, listen to me.
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: His intent he thought he was being funny and a joke,
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: bad timing, poor choice of jokes, distasteful, But the way
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: to check him was not in front of everybody.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: She was wrong, she felt disrespected. The wife did in
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: front of the son is not.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: Offended in nothing.
- 1:12:51Speaker 14: So if the married couple had a daughter who came
- 1:12:56Speaker 14: with a fine boy and the boyfriends say where should
- 1:13:01Speaker 14: I sit and the wife said, I know where you
- 1:13:05Speaker 14: can sit, then how with.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: The That's not what this story is. That's not what
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: this story is.

- 1:13:14Speaker 5: Slip it, flip it from flipping it.
- 1:13:20Speaker 10: We're not shut up, tommy, We're not flipping it at all.

- 1:13:29Speaker 2: Y'all don't have dirty.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: In this letter.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: That's not what y'all do.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: So you do though? What what was man?
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: I know where you can sit exactly.

- 1:25:53Speaker 5: Human and I've done something so bad that I didn't
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: even talk to God for a while because I just
- 1:26:03Speaker 5: knew he got to be upset with me on this one,
- 1:26:07Speaker 5: and he was probably disappointed in me. But God's disappointment
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: in you and willingness for you. Let me just put
- 1:26:17Speaker 5: it to you this way. God's love for you overshadows
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: anything you can do. You can't do nothing to make
- 1:26:25Speaker 5: him stop loving you.
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: Now. He the only one you can say that about.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: Now my mama. I think my mama would have loved
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: me no matter what I do.
- 1:26:34Speaker 5: But she'd have been shamed though, because but and Ben,
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: then I know I've embarrassed my mama. I know, I
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: know I embarrassed my mama one Christmas so bad, man,
- 1:26:44Speaker 5: I felt so bad. She brought me a memorys recorder
- 1:26:47Speaker 5: for Christmas. The first thing I recorded on that was
- 1:26:51Speaker 5: Rudy ray Mole's signifying Monkey Baby wear Down in the
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: Jungle Deep, because I had been listening to my father
- 1:27:03Speaker 5: listening to it on his record player, and I recorded
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: it one morning, but I left my recorder in the
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: living room. After church, my mama bought some friends over
- 1:27:15Speaker 5: to the house and said, I bought my baby this
- 1:27:17Speaker 5: MEMORYX recorder. He just been recording on it all day.
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: Now I'm sitting on the steps looking. I want to
- 1:27:23Speaker 5: go eat this recorder right now. I want to go
- 1:27:25Speaker 5: over there and put this MEMORYX recording in my mouth
- 1:27:28Speaker 5: and eat this thing. Because but then she held it
- 1:27:33Speaker 5: up and had it in her lap, and I was
- 1:27:35Speaker 5: just looking, and I said, man, and then she said,
- 1:27:38Speaker 5: let me see, and she pressed play. Oh, I had
- 1:27:42Speaker 5: some little I had a box where I did the
- 1:27:45Speaker 5: beginning because the beginning was like like a jungle beat,
- 1:27:49Speaker 5: like bongos. And then I said, way down in the
- 1:27:53Speaker 5: Jungle Deep, and I said now. She just pressed stop
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: right now, I'll be okay. But she didn't know how to.
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: You just left it on play. The cussing that I
- 1:28:04Speaker 5: was doing on Christmas Day in front of them church women, boy,
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: let me tell you So I'm sitting on them steps
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: looking at this tears, tears just running down my cheek
- 1:28:18Speaker 5: because I know this is the end of my life.
- 1:28:20Speaker 5: I'm gonna die today. Yeah, that's today, the time she
- 1:28:24Speaker 5: gonna kill me. I already noticed. So I've had some
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: moments that I've truly embarrassed her.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: God forgave me for that. My mama never did.
- 1:28:36Speaker 5: Oh yeah, how many Christmas has I heard about that?
- 1:28:41Speaker 5: Do you know how many times every time she walked
- 1:28:45Speaker 5: past that recorder that's where your little nasty mouth was
- 1:28:48Speaker 5: talking into the Oh God, God forgave me and never
- 1:28:55Speaker 5: bought it up.
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: Matter of fact, God turned them lemons into limits.
- 1:29:00Speaker 5: Little did I know that I was one day gonna
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: be my own version of Rudy Raymo. He was preparing
- 1:29:06Speaker 5: me for what I was going to be, and I
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: didn't even know it. So, you know, man, I've done
- 1:29:14Speaker 5: some things in my life that I've been ashamed of.
- 1:29:17Speaker 5: But I'm gonna tell you something. I don't care what
- 1:29:19Speaker 5: you've done. Because of God's grace and mercy, you can
- 1:29:23Speaker 5: make it. I don't care how you've been done. Because
- 1:29:27Speaker 5: of God's grace and mercy, you can make it. I
- 1:29:30Speaker 5: don't care what they said about what you're done, or
- 1:29:34Speaker 5: what they said that you did that you didn't do.
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: You can make it because of God's grace and mercy.
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: I don't care how many times you stumble and fall,
- 1:29:48Speaker 5: God to pick you up. I don't care how many
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: times you get it wrong, God to help you correct it.
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: I don't care how many mistakes you've made. God can
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: help you overcome it.
- 1:29:58Speaker 5: That is the beauty of having a relationship with God.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: Now, when you don't have the.
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: Relationship with God, the devil's number one mission is to
- 1:30:07Speaker 5: rob you of your destiny. So guess what the devil
- 1:30:10Speaker 5: does is since you don't have relationship with God.
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: Cool.
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: I'm not gonna remind you that God is in the
- 1:30:16Speaker 5: forgiving business, that God is in to get your life
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: together business that God can forgive you for matter what
- 1:30:22Speaker 5: you've done. I'm gonna let you lay there and wallow
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: in your misery and think you've ruined your life. And
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: if I get you to think and you've ruined your life,
- 1:30:30Speaker 5: then there's no way that you can accomplish or be
- 1:30:34Speaker 5: what God created you to be. The devil has one
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: mission that is to ruin you and stop you from
- 1:30:40Speaker 5: your destiny. So if you out there today and you
- 1:30:44Speaker 5: wallowing in your misery, if you out there today and
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: you've made what you think is an unforgivable mistake, let
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: me ask you something. Have you asked God to forgive you?
- 1:30:55Speaker 5: Because people are not gonna do it, but God will
- 1:30:58Speaker 5: and he'll give you the strength to get you through it.
- 1:31:01Speaker 5: Everything I've ever messed up on, God got me through it.
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: Man. I'm so grateful. Boy, I flunked out of school.
- 1:31:11Speaker 5: All my partners come to my ranch have college degrees,
- 1:31:17Speaker 5: every last one of them. I was the only one
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: that flunked out of school. Boy, look at God. You boy,
- 1:31:30Speaker 5: God God that lifts you up in front of some
- 1:31:32Speaker 5: people that was laughing at you.
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: Man. Yeah, will He'll prop you right on up, y'all
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: have a good day to day. Man, y'all.
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: Matter of fact, have a great day today. I know
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: I am. I'm one of God's favorites, man, and I
- 1:31:45Speaker 5: just talked myself into it. Just now, y'all do the same.
- 1:31:48Speaker 5: Form a relationship with God. Man, help him, let him
- 1:31:50Speaker 5: go get.
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: You through it. So what you made a mistake don't
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: mean nothing. You good, peace y'all.
