- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall well a good morning everybody. Y'all listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now. One and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harley got a radio show. I was. I had
- 2:14Speaker 1: my head down then it was thinking of what I
- 2:17Speaker 1: wanted to say this morning. But it kind of it's
- 2:23Speaker 1: kind of be something I've lived for a long time,
- 2:27Speaker 1: and you know, for a long time, you know, I
- 2:30Speaker 1: had a lot of faith in people. You know. It's
- 2:33Speaker 1: strange too, because you know, you know, my mother was
- 2:37Speaker 1: a Sunday school teacher, so of course I grew up
- 2:40Speaker 1: around it, knowing the scriptures and things like that. Not
- 2:44Speaker 1: not a lot of them, but you know, the ones
- 2:46Speaker 1: I retained. But having her as a mother was was
- 2:51Speaker 1: a huge help and understand about faith. But even with that,
- 2:54Speaker 1: as I grew up I began to put a lot
- 2:58Speaker 1: of faith in people, and you know, I figured, you know,
- 3:02Speaker 1: just like everybody else, you know, man if I could
- 3:04Speaker 1: just meet this person, or if I could just sit
- 3:07Speaker 1: down with that person, or man if I could just
- 3:10Speaker 1: get this person to hear my ideal, or man if
- 3:14Speaker 1: if this person could hear my track, or man if
- 3:17Speaker 1: I could just get this in the hands or somebody
- 3:20Speaker 1: in the know. I was, like everybody else, I thought
- 3:24Speaker 1: that way. You know, I actually thought that if I
- 3:26Speaker 1: could get in a certain situation with a certain person,
- 3:30Speaker 1: that if a certain person were to meet me, that
- 3:33Speaker 1: you know, it could change everything for me. Oh man,
- 3:37Speaker 1: Oh how wrong I was? Oh how wrong I was?
- 3:42Speaker 1: How long did I spend feeling that way? And how
- 3:45Speaker 1: many of you out there possibly have felt that way before?
- 3:48Speaker 1: You know, like even in a relationship, this is the
- 3:51Speaker 1: person for me, and you know, you just lay claim
- 3:54Speaker 1: to that, you know, not necessarily being a fact, but
- 3:57Speaker 1: you just lay claim to it. This is the person me,
- 4:00Speaker 1: This is the person that I want to spend the
- 4:02Speaker 1: rest of my life with. You know, sometimes, you know,
- 4:04Speaker 1: we just lay claim to stuff, and it's not always
- 4:07Speaker 1: what's in our best interest, or it's not always a fact.
- 4:10Speaker 1: It's just what we decided we want it. And I
- 4:13Speaker 1: was guilty of that, just like anybody else. And I
- 4:16Speaker 1: spent a lot of years in my life putting faith
- 4:19Speaker 1: in people. Man, if I could tell you anything this morning,
- 4:23Speaker 1: it's to stop putting your faith in people and put
- 4:26Speaker 1: your faith in God where it counts the most. I mean,
- 4:29Speaker 1: you can get something out of this one. See, here's
- 4:32Speaker 1: a deal about a relationship with God. It's the same
- 4:36Speaker 1: all the time. He never changes. His word is one absolute.
- 4:41Speaker 1: His word doesn't have loopholes in it, none of that.
- 4:44Speaker 1: It's this is what it is. He's very clear. Now,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you can deviate off your end of a bargain, but
- 4:52Speaker 1: it don't stop what he says from being true. But
- 4:56Speaker 1: if he asks you to do something, if God asks
- 4:58Speaker 1: you to be a certain way, to do a little
- 5:01Speaker 1: something a certain way, and you don't do it that way,
- 5:03Speaker 1: then you know you could still possibly get by for
- 5:08Speaker 1: a while. But don't you understand that his end of
- 5:11Speaker 1: the deal stays the same, and as long as you're
- 5:14Speaker 1: not doing it the way you're supposed to, the results
- 5:16Speaker 1: are not going to be what you wanted to be.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And I did this for years and years and years,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and I counted on people, and you know, I got
- 5:25Speaker 1: myself in a lot of situations. And I got out
- 5:27Speaker 1: one a dire situation that I'd been in for a
- 5:31Speaker 1: number of years. But he had protected me from years
- 5:33Speaker 1: prior to that. I didn't even know what was going on,
- 5:36Speaker 1: and then he made it away. It made me aware
- 5:38Speaker 1: of the problem. And then, man, lord ha mercy, I
- 5:42Speaker 1: was in a dismal situation. And then at the end
- 5:45Speaker 1: of the year, I was free, free from it all.
- 5:48Speaker 1: But it was a decision that I had made that
- 5:51Speaker 1: led up to that, and in going through that process,
- 5:55Speaker 1: I had to learn something. Man. I learned a lot
- 5:58Speaker 1: about people. See, if you want to learn about your friends,
- 6:02Speaker 1: if you want to learn about your people people around you,
- 6:06Speaker 1: get yourself in some trouble, get yourself in a situation.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Oh man, you start looking around. Man, the field get
- 6:13Speaker 1: real clear when you're in trouble. The field clear is
- 6:17Speaker 1: out when you're in doubt, when you don't know what
- 6:19Speaker 1: to do, when you need help, it get real clear
- 6:22Speaker 1: on the play and field, then don't it. Oh, But
- 6:25Speaker 1: when things is going right, it's time for a party.
- 6:28Speaker 1: We throw on a celebration. We were gonna we're gonna
- 6:31Speaker 1: do one down here. Oh man, there's plenty of people
- 6:33Speaker 1: on the field. But but but get yourself in a situation.
- 6:37Speaker 1: You find out rather quickly that old no, old no,
- 6:41Speaker 1: everybody ain't here. And that's when I started learning. And
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I had to start learning this for
- 6:48Speaker 1: real until I finally got it to stop putting my
- 6:51Speaker 1: faith in people and put all of mine in God
- 6:54Speaker 1: where it counts the most. Now is that to say
- 6:57Speaker 1: that there are people that you can't trust. No, that's
- 6:59Speaker 1: not what I'm saying. I ain't say you can't trust him,
- 7:02Speaker 1: but you can't dump your faith in him. I got
- 7:05Speaker 1: it all riding on what he say. I got it
- 7:08Speaker 1: all riding on what she say. Na, Na, No, I
- 7:14Speaker 1: hear you saying it. But I'm gonna keep my own
- 7:18Speaker 1: this situation because I hear you saying it. But I'm
- 7:22Speaker 1: gonna take this faith of mine and instead of putting
- 7:25Speaker 1: it in people, I'm gonna put it in God where
- 7:27Speaker 1: it counts the most. Because his word is absolute. What
- 7:30Speaker 1: he say he gonna do, he gonna do what he say.
- 7:33Speaker 1: He's not gonna tolerate, He's not gonna tolerate. Now, you
- 7:36Speaker 1: can make it you can make it tolerable for yourself,
- 7:38Speaker 1: but He's not gonna tolerate it. And that's just the
- 7:41Speaker 1: end of the line. And so you know, I'm wondering
- 7:44Speaker 1: how many people out there find themselves in a situation
- 7:47Speaker 1: like me, or maybe you've gotten yourself in a situation
- 7:50Speaker 1: because you put your faith in some people and now
- 7:52Speaker 1: you wound up in a different type of situation. Now,
- 7:54Speaker 1: let me ask you, whetting people, at the only one
- 8:00Speaker 1: that I found when I was in my deepest trouble,
- 8:03Speaker 1: when me and my wife were in our darkest situation,
- 8:07Speaker 1: was God. It is the only one, was the only
- 8:10Speaker 1: one who was just right there, right there all the
- 8:14Speaker 1: way through. Now, let me explain something to you. Because
- 8:20Speaker 1: you have this relationship with God, it does not mean,
- 8:24Speaker 1: it does not mean now that it won't get it
- 8:27Speaker 1: won't still be a situation, you understand. But what He
- 8:32Speaker 1: will do is protect you during that period. He'll cover
- 8:36Speaker 1: you during that period that it is a situation. He
- 8:40Speaker 1: will give you the strength to overcome the situation when
- 8:44Speaker 1: it turns into a situation. Then when he cracks it
- 8:47Speaker 1: open for you and the sun is bright and shining,
- 8:50Speaker 1: what he don't want you to do is when he
- 8:52Speaker 1: gets sunny again, to forget about him, who was there
- 8:56Speaker 1: when it was dark for you. See, I used to
- 8:58Speaker 1: do that too. I was, Oh, man, I did it.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, I did it. But I'm
- 9:04Speaker 1: telling you man, when I learned a very serious lesson
- 9:08Speaker 1: and I watched some people I thought were friends of
- 9:11Speaker 1: mine just sort of casually remove themselves from the situation,
- 9:18Speaker 1: then I said, okay. Me and Margie looked around. We said, okay,
- 9:22Speaker 1: it's just me, you and God. And when we started
- 9:24Speaker 1: conducting ourselves accordingly. So when it's sunny for us, we
- 9:30Speaker 1: remember God. We stay prayerful, we keep talking to him.
- 9:34Speaker 1: We thank him for the sunshine, we thank him for
- 9:36Speaker 1: the dark days that he allowed us to do, who
- 9:39Speaker 1: allowed us to survive it and turn it into sunny days.
- 9:42Speaker 1: And we talked to him constantly to protect us of
- 9:45Speaker 1: our future enemies. And that's what the deal is. So
- 9:48Speaker 1: if I was everybody, I would stop putting your faith
- 9:50Speaker 1: in people and put your trust in God where it
- 9:53Speaker 1: really does count the most. It really really does. Ladies
- 10:01Speaker 1: and gentlemen, Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Ain't
- 10:04Speaker 1: gonna waste no time. It's Monday, morning. I hope you

- 11:20Speaker 1: I spoke to my mind freely, I said exactly what
- 11:23Speaker 1: what I thought it did not. Yeah, and then the
- 11:26Speaker 1: first one. I was young, so I didn't even know. Yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 1: I didn't even know the rule that you can't say everything.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I didn't even know that you could. That you that
- 11:38Speaker 1: you posted you. When you have peace in your house,
- 11:41Speaker 1: you ain't supposed to bring up subject. I didn't. I
- 11:43Speaker 1: didn't know. Yeah, I didn't know. I set myself on fire.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times I've actually been
- 11:51Speaker 1: sitting at the dinner table dumping gasoline on myself fitting
- 11:56Speaker 1: the smoker said, God, I didn't even know that. I
- 11:58Speaker 1: didn't even know. It took a long time to figure
- 12:02Speaker 1: it out, man, But peace is priceless, and if you're
- 12:06Speaker 1: having it, let it exist for as long as it can,
- 12:10Speaker 1: because there's something gonna come up anyway. Ain't no needed
- 12:13Speaker 1: you bringing it up, right? Or you can be happy?
- 12:19Speaker 1: I love it. That's that's it, bro, That's the only
- 12:21Speaker 1: thing you got to figure out. Don't be stupid man.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Stupididity is to bring it up. Oh, we have an
- 12:29Speaker 1: expert on that subject, right, he's sitting right. No, I'm not.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I'm not stupid in my marriage though I stuck up.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Oh you're smart y smart. Hey, junior, let me ask
- 12:43Speaker 1: you a question. If you get into a relationship in
- 12:47Speaker 1: a marriage, what's the one thing you're looking forward to?
- 12:50Speaker 1: Really be honest with you, man, I'm looking for the partnership.
- 12:53Speaker 1: You know. Somebody got my back. I got the back. Okay,
- 12:56Speaker 1: that's good. Now. You do know what this is going
- 12:58Speaker 1: to be, don't you. It has the word ship in it,
- 13:01Speaker 1: but it's a dictatorship. You're gonna be in the receiving Yeah. Yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 1: you've been to be in servitude home. Yeah. Yeah. We've
- 13:16Speaker 1: been trained to call it a partnership, but it's very
- 13:19Speaker 1: close to dictatorship. So I just wanted to bring that
- 13:23Speaker 1: to your attention. Yeah, the word is the word is ship.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Isn't that? No? No, no, All the advice I give
- 13:30Speaker 1: you ain't gonna help you. It doesn't matter what I
- 13:34Speaker 1: tell you. I can't prepare you for it. All right,
- 13:37Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, the
- 13:39Speaker 1: pastors are here with church complaints. Right after this, you're
- 13:43Speaker 1: listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Time now for
- 13:47Speaker 1: church complaints on this Monday with Reverend Motown and Deacon
- 13:50Speaker 1: deaf jam Eating. You would go we are hell Yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 1: to inflicate what inflicate. We come with the discerning spirit,
- 14:15Speaker 1: realizing that monogamriously we will, we will ampendentiously proceed with
- 14:27Speaker 1: cautionary duplicity. We are foth right and uh perpetuity gavel
- 14:40Speaker 1: information on all these dientesies. I don't know that one. Now,
- 14:49Speaker 1: I know you're dough, but I'm preaching right now. So
- 14:52Speaker 1: let us begin with church complaints from the dionnestly dubi ustris,
- 15:02Speaker 1: come on deacon death jail. But out of Lord Hell mercy,
- 15:08Speaker 1: wouldn't he using me? Wouldn't you using? All? Right? Pastor,
- 15:16Speaker 1: we got a situation our sister Rachel Bailey about thirty
- 15:21Speaker 1: five hundred chicken wings for the big game on Sunday.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Now she used the church credit card. Now Sister Doris
- 15:28Speaker 1: told her to take them damn wings back. Sister Doris,
- 15:32Speaker 1: I slapped her with two packages of other chicken wings.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Long story short, ain't but four packs of wing left
- 15:39Speaker 1: that they didn't fought all through them chicken wings. Um,
- 15:42Speaker 1: I don't know what you want to do, but I
- 15:44Speaker 1: might have been spent hitting about thirty five chicken wings
- 15:48Speaker 1: and they you are you saying they got in the
- 15:51Speaker 1: chicken wing fight, and chicken wing meat is everywhere, everywhere,
- 16:00Speaker 1: all over the back of the churchpan. Okay, well, let's
- 16:03Speaker 1: hurry up and get all these chicken pieces on ice
- 16:07Speaker 1: or it looks like we're gonna have all wing and
- 16:10Speaker 1: nugget night into chick. Of course, if they're not giving
- 16:15Speaker 1: us a third of a lot of wings, I got
- 16:18Speaker 1: to get these waying meat in a fry. If we
- 16:21Speaker 1: can get this wayan meet in a fry, we can
- 16:23Speaker 1: have nuggets, chicken nugget nuggets, chicken wings and chicken nibblets. Right, well,
- 16:30Speaker 1: we're gonna have to get about to float you and
- 16:34Speaker 1: just yeah, just Rachel, go ahead, what you go. You're
- 16:39Speaker 1: gonna have to talk to her. Sister. Well, my Mason
- 16:43Speaker 1: is trying to sue slim Fast because she said it
- 16:46Speaker 1: didn't work. She said it didn't even slim Slow and tie.
- 16:50Speaker 1: We need you to talk to her because she's getting
- 16:53Speaker 1: a lawyer in everything trying to sue slim Fast. It's
- 16:55Speaker 1: just a waste of time, passes. Who we all my
- 16:59Speaker 1: a Mason, Oh, sister Mason, she's suing slim Fast. Well, now,
- 17:08Speaker 1: sister Mason, let's let's be honest. Now, come on, we
- 17:14Speaker 1: will support your lawsuit. But you've only been How long
- 17:20Speaker 1: has she been using the product, Deacon? I think about
- 17:24Speaker 1: two or three weeks? But like, but like it says
- 17:27Speaker 1: it's slim fast, but she not listen to me. It
- 17:32Speaker 1: is slimming fast, sister or Mason, But you have to
- 17:36Speaker 1: realize you were so far gone that the slimming process Begod,
- 17:44Speaker 1: it's just we can't tell. A matter of fact, her
- 17:50Speaker 1: sister was in the office and said that she's trying
- 17:54Speaker 1: to encourage her because she's lost twenty five pounds. But
- 18:00Speaker 1: when you fall eighty and you lose twenty five, we
- 18:04Speaker 1: ain't gonna Ain't nobody wi she is slimming fast. You
- 18:08Speaker 1: just can't see the slimming. So I would not go
- 18:12Speaker 1: after slim fast for this at all, because she gets
- 18:15Speaker 1: slimming fast. It's just it's gonna be another two three
- 18:19Speaker 1: hundred pounds for she get to what we can use
- 18:21Speaker 1: the word slim at all right, right, you're right, all right,
- 18:26Speaker 1: we'll get back to that. All right. Here's a situation.
- 18:29Speaker 1: The Senior j p JJ Olympic bob sledding team is
- 18:35Speaker 1: having trouble getting all four team members inside the bob
- 18:38Speaker 1: sled and asking for a suggestion. I have told the
- 18:42Speaker 1: senior citizens that they cannot be in the bob Slid
- 18:45Speaker 1: team because that by the time they get in the
- 18:48Speaker 1: bob sled, they three folks way down the track. And
- 18:52Speaker 1: we didn't drug two members half to death. We almost
- 18:56Speaker 1: lost Brother Peterson got his ass drugged down the track
- 19:01Speaker 1: and he never got into bob Slid. And as a
- 19:04Speaker 1: matter of fact, we've never completed a race with all
- 19:07Speaker 1: folk members in the bob Slid. We've even had a
- 19:12Speaker 1: bob Slid incident, whether the driver or brother Pernell. The
- 19:17Speaker 1: driver got in and it took the other three bob
- 19:21Speaker 1: sliders so long to get in that he fell asleep
- 19:23Speaker 1: at the wheel and the bob Slid with your gone
- 19:27Speaker 1: down the hill with no driver. Yeah, so I'm really
- 19:33Speaker 1: thinking that we're not We sure ain't gonna make the
- 19:36Speaker 1: Olympics over in China this year. That ain't gonna That
- 19:38Speaker 1: ain't gonna work out. He has another situation since the
- 19:46Speaker 1: Tanya Sims is in jail this morning, Pastor. She had
- 19:50Speaker 1: a hot flash last week during the winter freeze and
- 19:54Speaker 1: ran outside butt neck at the cool off. Do you
- 19:58Speaker 1: want them say right there? Do you want to bail
- 20:01Speaker 1: high out a night fadom and she was in the
- 20:03Speaker 1: middle of a hot flash and since it was freeze
- 20:05Speaker 1: and outs at she ran out there to cool out.
- 20:07Speaker 1: And if you go on line to Steve Harvey FM,
- 20:10Speaker 1: she's selling potable fans. Yes, get your we can't keep them.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Thank you, Reverend Motown Ducon def jam for those church complaints.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Coming up next to Ask the CLO Chief Love Officer
- 20:27Speaker 1: of Steve Harvey in the building for your love questions.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour. We'll discuss
- 20:37Speaker 1: ethics in the workplace following the resignation of CNN's president
- 20:41Speaker 1: last week, and Nick Cannon is offering an apology, a
- 20:45Speaker 1: public apology to the mothers of his children. We'll get
- 20:48Speaker 1: into that in just a little bit, but right now
- 20:50Speaker 1: it's time yeah for Ask the CLO Chief Love Officer
- 20:56Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Here we go. Glow in South Florida says,
- 21:00Speaker 1: I'm married and my husband told me that he's always
- 21:03Speaker 1: wanted a threesome, so I was considering it for his
- 21:07Speaker 1: fortieth birthday. He got overly excited and sent me pictures
- 21:11Speaker 1: of five women for me to select from. Should I
- 21:14Speaker 1: be concerned that he already had a list of women?
- 21:17Speaker 1: And do I have to choose one of them? Please advise?
- 21:21Speaker 1: Where do you think the fantasy came from? But to
- 21:25Speaker 1: see the fact that you have considered it, He went, okay, cool,
- 21:31Speaker 1: let me let me help you. And now your concern
- 21:35Speaker 1: is should I be concerned about him the fact that
- 21:37Speaker 1: he wants to introduce that into your marriage. Your bigger
- 21:40Speaker 1: concern is you entertaining it. So you ain't no need
- 21:43Speaker 1: of you getting mad at your husband because you entertaining
- 21:46Speaker 1: this mess right here. So just let us know how
- 21:48Speaker 1: to work out for you. That's a lot happening in
- 21:53Speaker 1: that room. You're knowing that though boy, three people, there's
- 21:56Speaker 1: a lot happening. Listen, you gotta have some talks to
- 22:04Speaker 1: some people so you can get some clearly how I done.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Don't go in there trying to feel your weight through
- 22:09Speaker 1: that relationship. Go ahead, Oh shit, Skyler and Saint Louis writes,
- 22:16Speaker 1: I'm thirty and my boyfriend of six years recently broke
- 22:20Speaker 1: up with me and he moved on quickly, and now
- 22:22Speaker 1: he lives with a woman that is five years older
- 22:24Speaker 1: than him. He's very rude when I talked to him
- 22:26Speaker 1: and he said, she doesn't want him speaking to me.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I lost my best friend and lover her. How can
- 22:32Speaker 1: he let her control who he talks to? Why are
- 22:36Speaker 1: you trying to talk to him your hold? You're trying
- 22:38Speaker 1: to hang on to somebody that don't want you. That's
- 22:43Speaker 1: all to it. And I've lost my best friend and
- 22:47Speaker 1: you No, he wasn't your best friend. If that was
- 22:48Speaker 1: your best friend, you need to get some better friends. See,
- 22:53Speaker 1: you all keep redefining what holds a lot of people
- 22:57Speaker 1: from their futures. They keep being defined by pass. He
- 23:00Speaker 1: was my lover and my best friend. He was just
- 23:03Speaker 1: his girlfriend for six months. And he didn't even lived
- 23:07Speaker 1: with you. He'd have moved in with this other woman.
- 23:09Speaker 1: So that's it. You're not You're not who you thought.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Quit trying to be something that you worried It wasn't
- 23:14Speaker 1: even healthy for you in the first place. He gone,
- 23:20Speaker 1: how can she control who he talked to? He don't
- 23:22Speaker 1: want to talk to you, that's right, Jesus, All right, yes,
- 23:30Speaker 1: let's go. Moving on to Mike Cello and Queen's. Mike writes,
- 23:35Speaker 1: have been dating this great woman for five months. I
- 23:38Speaker 1: love everything about her except her feet. She doesn't believe
- 23:44Speaker 1: in getting pedicures. I take care of myself and I
- 23:47Speaker 1: love for my woman to have moisturized feet and polished toenails.
- 23:52Speaker 1: I've thought about doing the pedicure myself. Would that be
- 23:55Speaker 1: sweet or offensive? I don't know how you're gonna do it,
- 23:58Speaker 1: because I ain't gonna be able to go down there
- 24:00Speaker 1: like that. You got a ugly band feet. I'm got
- 24:02Speaker 1: leave to hold your foot in my hands without coming.
- 24:04Speaker 1: First of all, I got to take this COVID madhous mask. Also,
- 24:07Speaker 1: you can hear what I got to say, and then
- 24:09Speaker 1: I think it just ain't gonna work right here? Who's
- 24:12Speaker 1: wrong with you? See? Ladies, y'all can't be laying in
- 24:16Speaker 1: the bed and y'all feet at the foot of the
- 24:18Speaker 1: bed and the the blanket come up and you can't tell
- 24:21Speaker 1: who's foot belong to who. I want my woman's foot
- 24:24Speaker 1: to look like it's her foot. I want to have toenail, polo,
- 24:27Speaker 1: shoulder and stuff. I just got a pedocut the other day.
- 24:30Speaker 1: She don't get pedocuted. She don't all her feet. What
- 24:34Speaker 1: what you gotta make? You gotta make this a mandate? Dogs?
- 24:37Speaker 1: You gotta say, hey, this is offensive. You're too beautiful
- 24:40Speaker 1: to do that. Pay for the pedocure. Had a lady
- 24:42Speaker 1: come to the house. They got mobile pedocut units and everything.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Now you know, had once a week here she come.
- 24:49Speaker 1: It's gotta stand in appointment period. We have a standing appointment.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Now that yeah, that first one gonna be some work.
- 24:57Speaker 1: She's gonna be snacking her foot back because you ain't
- 25:03Speaker 1: take a minute on that person you got and you
- 25:06Speaker 1: got to make sure that the person they're doing the
- 25:07Speaker 1: pedicure is gentle. Because I had a lady one time.
- 25:10Speaker 1: I don't know who she thought I was. She I
- 25:14Speaker 1: looked down there and she had my whole big toe
- 25:18Speaker 1: inside of her fists filing it and I couldn't. I
- 25:23Speaker 1: was hyper ventilating because I was because my big toe
- 25:28Speaker 1: has never been away from the rest of his friends
- 25:31Speaker 1: for any extended they come to They're always touching my toes.
- 25:35Speaker 1: I like, got it. I can't spread my toes where
- 25:38Speaker 1: they don't touch. I don't have I don't have baby toes.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I got grown ass man toes. My foot don't look
- 25:44Speaker 1: like a web. My toes is always touching. And she
- 25:46Speaker 1: reached down and took my big toe and had it
- 25:49Speaker 1: inside her fist and was just filing it. I couldn't
- 25:54Speaker 1: even breathe. Good man, I was hyper ventilating because I
- 25:56Speaker 1: was scared and and Mississippi Monica had referred her and
- 26:03Speaker 1: had her come to my office in Chicago. She's never
- 26:07Speaker 1: been back. Evil Monica has his little baby feet. Man,
- 26:13Speaker 1: I get my big toe looked like a microphone. You
- 26:16Speaker 1: should hitting the pull it away from the rest of
- 26:19Speaker 1: my sitting Man. The Temptations and David, this is a group,
- 26:34Speaker 1: all right? Uh? All right? So you think he should
- 26:37Speaker 1: go ahead and do it, Just schedule it and get
- 26:39Speaker 1: it out of the way, whether it's offensive or not. Yeah,
- 26:42Speaker 1: she'll get over it. Yeah, all right. So last one,
- 26:46Speaker 1: Joy in Little Rock says, um, I'm forty one and
- 26:49Speaker 1: I'm dating a wealthy man that has four cars and
- 26:52Speaker 1: a mansion. But he has the smallest oh wow, male
- 26:59Speaker 1: body part. And you know which one I'm talking about? Ever, Okay,
- 27:04Speaker 1: he says, I'm sure he knows I'm faking it, so
- 27:09Speaker 1: shut up. So I should be honest. So should I
- 27:12Speaker 1: be honest and see if there are ways we can
- 27:15Speaker 1: make the experience better or do I keep faking it?
- 27:19Speaker 1: I don't know what you're gonna do to make it better.
- 27:22Speaker 1: I don't really know what you're gonna do, But you do,
- 27:24Speaker 1: do understand why he's worked so hard to become wealthy
- 27:28Speaker 1: because he needed all the other stuff. Yeah, he got
- 27:31Speaker 1: the calls, he got that mansion, he got this money,
- 27:35Speaker 1: and now he got somebody gonna just play long with
- 27:37Speaker 1: the game, and you're just going with the game. I
- 27:40Speaker 1: don't know what you're gonna do, you know, unless you
- 27:42Speaker 1: could just allow him to you know, since he's so small,
- 27:46Speaker 1: you're gonna have to let him, you know, you know,
- 27:53Speaker 1: let's not be vogue or anything, but maybe you're just
- 27:56Speaker 1: gonna have to suggest to him to use more things
- 28:00Speaker 1: things you know, might have to just say to him,
- 28:02Speaker 1: you know, you know, you might have to say something.
- 28:04Speaker 1: You know. So you're saying she should be honest. Well,
- 28:08Speaker 1: he well, he needs help and he don't have enough
- 28:13Speaker 1: and he knew it. He knew it. So she you're
- 28:18Speaker 1: saying she should be honest and see if there are
- 28:20Speaker 1: ways that they can make the experience better. That's what
- 28:22Speaker 1: she wants. Well, I don't know what he gonna do.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I'm trying to I don't know what he can do
- 28:26Speaker 1: unless you're gonna allow him to or cars in a
- 28:30Speaker 1: mansion and all that money is enough, you got to
- 28:32Speaker 1: buy some more calls or something. He got to something
- 28:34Speaker 1: he got all right, Celo, As your voice trails off,
- 28:38Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up at the top of the hour,

- 29:58Speaker 1: happen next few and everything all right, you know, would
- 30:13Speaker 1: be okay anyway. CNN president Jeff Zucker resigned last Wednesday.
- 30:19Speaker 1: He told his staff that he failed to disclose a
- 30:21Speaker 1: consensual relationship with a colleague. Zucker said in a memo
- 30:25Speaker 1: that his relationship came to light during the network's investigation
- 30:29Speaker 1: into the conduct of Chris Cuomo. Chris Cuomo we all know,
- 30:32Speaker 1: was a primetime CNN anchor. Chris was fired in December
- 30:35Speaker 1: for assisting his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo,
- 30:40Speaker 1: who was accused of sexual misconduct. Zucker said I was
- 30:43Speaker 1: required to disclose it when it began, but I didn't.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Zucker wrote in the memo, you know that, hey, I
- 30:51Speaker 1: didn't reveal it. I should have. The relationship was with
- 30:54Speaker 1: Alison Gallust, the chief marketing officer for CNN, and she
- 31:00Speaker 1: will stay employed at CNN. Zucker joined CNN back in
- 31:04Speaker 1: twenty thirteen. He stepped down also as chairman of Warner Media,
- 31:09Speaker 1: News and Sports. I don't understand why that's necessary to
- 31:14Speaker 1: disclose it. They're both single, that both relationship. I mean,
- 31:20Speaker 1: what do you mean, now they were married, their relationship
- 31:24Speaker 1: led to the deport their breakup. Oh, he was married.
- 31:29Speaker 1: So they were a long time ago. A long time ago, yes,
- 31:32Speaker 1: but going on for over ten years or more. But see,
- 31:35Speaker 1: that's not a that's not a it's a morality, but
- 31:39Speaker 1: that's not a against the law. Well, it's a power
- 31:42Speaker 1: thing to see. He's the president, he's the president of
- 31:46Speaker 1: the network, So you have power over your employees, including her,
- 31:50Speaker 1: including her. So it but that wasn't consensual. Yes, it
- 31:55Speaker 1: was confederally. I didn't say it was assault. Power. Yeah,
- 31:59Speaker 1: they vacations together. I mean, see, I don't understand though,
- 32:03Speaker 1: why you know, man, I just don't. I just don't.
- 32:06Speaker 1: I don't understand policy. But it's crazy, man, these are
- 32:11Speaker 1: consenting adults. Well, apparently all you have to do is
- 32:15Speaker 1: disclose it and then it's okay. Apparently I'm sure they're
- 32:19Speaker 1: still doing it, right, they still hold on, hold on.
- 32:22Speaker 1: But let me say that they're good if you disclose it.
- 32:27Speaker 1: If you disclose it, somebody gonna have a problem. With that. Yeah,
- 32:31Speaker 1: well then they'll know, they'll know, they won't think it
- 32:34Speaker 1: maybe special favors going on that you're promoting her or
- 32:39Speaker 1: she's always you know what I'm saying. If you disclose it,
- 32:43Speaker 1: then the staff knows. All right, that's where they lived
- 32:49Speaker 1: in the same building, see right there? Not that's convenient?
- 32:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Oh yeah, it's good, isn't that? Yeah? My role,
- 33:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna help you pay for the pay for your place. Yeah,
- 33:06Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know, it's it's a lot there.
- 33:08Speaker 1: You can fire somebody for ethics and you're breaking the
- 33:11Speaker 1: rule to think exactly. And that's what happened over helping
- 33:16Speaker 1: his brother's going all along that he was having an
- 33:19Speaker 1: affair that he shouldn't have had with this woman, with
- 33:22Speaker 1: this other woman. I mean what we've been to keep
- 33:25Speaker 1: doing it? Yeah? What's the pay job? And your lost
- 33:31Speaker 1: six figures over here? Now we've been to be doing
- 33:33Speaker 1: it air date till I get my mind right? Have
- 33:35Speaker 1: y'all ever dated somebody y'all worked with? No comments? Steve?
- 33:44Speaker 1: What you're looking around? Have you? Uh? Ferrell? Hell, it's
- 33:53Speaker 1: my open Have I you're looking for your ain't something? Yes?
- 34:02Speaker 1: I married? Did you just close it at the time
- 34:07Speaker 1: they knew. But he wasn't my supervisor when I wasn't here.
- 34:12Speaker 1: I don't remember having a job ever in my life.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Why will you have it trying to sleep with somebody
- 34:19Speaker 1: to work? There were in here all these hours. What
- 34:23Speaker 1: is we doing you over the holm over here? Hey
- 34:28Speaker 1: at Ford Motor Company. It started in college. I ain't
- 34:32Speaker 1: up been in the class. I ain't slept with somebody
- 34:34Speaker 1: in one of my classes each one? What was that? Love?
- 34:42Speaker 1: I needed help? You know what I was doing? I
- 34:45Speaker 1: was taking hours in college? What I got to dake
- 34:50Speaker 1: one of these girls? Man, somebody got to sit up
- 34:53Speaker 1: here and show me something. I don't even know what
- 34:57Speaker 1: this is power super a visor, it's I think it's
- 35:01Speaker 1: the supervisor over employee. I think that's it. Well, are
- 35:06Speaker 1: we're gonna do it? Go to the top man, now
- 35:12Speaker 1: be your peer, so you know, make sure you state
- 35:17Speaker 1: it all right. Well, there you have it. Coming up
- 35:21Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after the hour. Uh, we're gonna talk
- 35:24Speaker 1: about Chicagoans who are angry right now over the release
- 35:28Speaker 1: of the police officer who killed LaQuan McDonald. We'll talk
- 35:32Speaker 1: about that right after this. You're listening to show former
- 35:38Speaker 1: Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke um left prison on
- 35:42Speaker 1: Thursday after serving less than half of his nearly seven
- 35:46Speaker 1: year sentence for killing black teenager LaQuan McDonald. Seventeen year
- 35:50Speaker 1: old LaQuan was shot sixteen times by Van Dyke back
- 35:53Speaker 1: in twenty eighteen. Van Dyke was convicted of second degree
- 35:57Speaker 1: murder and sixteen counts of aggravated battery with the firearm.
- 36:01Speaker 1: He was the first first Chicago police officer in half
- 36:06Speaker 1: a century to be convicted of murder for an off
- 36:09Speaker 1: duty or for an on duty killing, and many black
- 36:12Speaker 1: leaders hoped his conviction signaled a willingness to hold officers accountable.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Members of McDonald's family, local activists, and political leaders have
- 36:21Speaker 1: voiced their fury over Van Dyke's early release, noting that
- 36:24Speaker 1: he served just a fraction of the eighteen years prosecutors
- 36:28Speaker 1: originally sought, let alone the maximum ninety six years van
- 36:32Speaker 1: Dyke could have received for his charges. You know, a
- 36:36Speaker 1: lot of them wanted, of course, for his sentence to
- 36:38Speaker 1: be longer and everything. But initially they didn't say why
- 36:42Speaker 1: he got out, But they're saying he got out for
- 36:44Speaker 1: good behavior. In Illinois, there's some sort of law that
- 36:49Speaker 1: for I think it's called statutory good time. He actually
- 36:52Speaker 1: got out because to ask no premium of value on
- 36:55Speaker 1: black lives. Yeah, that's the truth, because this is what
- 36:58Speaker 1: the whole movement is about. It's about black lives matter.
- 37:03Speaker 1: And in Chicago and in a number of places, and
- 37:06Speaker 1: in the United States and in the Constitution, it is
- 37:10Speaker 1: clear that black lives do not matter. They do not
- 37:13Speaker 1: count the same. If a black man kills a white person,
- 37:19Speaker 1: you're not getting out in three and a half years
- 37:21Speaker 1: for good behavior. You can go to prison and set
- 37:24Speaker 1: up four churches in now if you want too. You're
- 37:29Speaker 1: not getting out in three and a half years for
- 37:31Speaker 1: good behavior. He gets out in three and a half
- 37:34Speaker 1: years for good behavior. It's appalling. It's just to watch
- 37:38Speaker 1: this system over and over and over prove that black
- 37:43Speaker 1: lives don't matter, continually find a way to show you
- 37:49Speaker 1: that they care less than a about black people, that
- 37:53Speaker 1: they don't consider us the same. It was Chico and
- 37:59Speaker 1: they went on in fit stat Well, let's unmeracleize this
- 38:02Speaker 1: because we can't let this here. Oh my god, we're
- 38:07Speaker 1: going to set up presidents where they think that we're
- 38:10Speaker 1: actually going to start convicting o'all. Oh no, then please,
- 38:14Speaker 1: it's easy to be on your best behavior. It's pretty easy.
- 38:17Speaker 1: If you see what's going on in there. You're pretty quiet. Man. Yeah,
- 38:26Speaker 1: he's in protective custody. There's no way you can put
- 38:30Speaker 1: a police officer and kill the black man in general population.
- 38:34Speaker 1: It's impossible. All right, Well, the fight continues, that's for sure. Um.
- 38:41Speaker 1: All right, well, coming up at thirty four minutes after
- 38:43Speaker 1: the hour, as we switch gears, our resident poet Junior
- 38:46Speaker 1: is here. Finally are you waiting for this? Junior? Last
- 38:51Speaker 1: History Month home? Right after this you're listening every morning show,
- 39:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, Steve, why don't you do the honors? Please? Ladies?
- 39:06Speaker 1: And it is time for another poem by Jay Rapp.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Jay Rapp is the new name I've chosen for him.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, It is time for Jay Rapp, which
- 39:20Speaker 1: stands for simply Junior's raggedy ass poems. Come on, Jay Rapp,
- 39:27Speaker 1: Thank you, sir, Thank y'all very much. You know, I've
- 39:29Speaker 1: put a lot of thought into this, as I do
- 39:31Speaker 1: all my poems, but this one here is more especial
- 39:34Speaker 1: because this is a Black History Month poem, and I
- 39:37Speaker 1: would like to begin. Thank you. It's Black History Month
- 39:42Speaker 1: and I need your attention. I'm gonna tell you what
- 39:45Speaker 1: history books don't mention. The correct term is African American.
- 39:49Speaker 1: You see, but black history did not start with slavery. See,
- 39:53Speaker 1: we are proud and we stand tall. We made so
- 39:56Speaker 1: many inventions to help all. Y'all. You dance like us
- 40:00Speaker 1: and bray your hair. Your boot is like ours, and
- 40:03Speaker 1: it's not fair. So calm down, Karen, what's your fuss?
- 40:08Speaker 1: You really do love everything about us. There are so
- 40:11Speaker 1: many black inventors and scholars, designers and restale stores thrive
- 40:16Speaker 1: off five dollars. We don't need the shortest month to celebrate.
- 40:20Speaker 1: We celebrate black pride three sixty five days a year
- 40:23Speaker 1: the end, Yes, Junior nailed. Yeah, that shows up a
- 40:31Speaker 1: Black History Month. Yeah, shows right up black history. I
- 40:35Speaker 1: know you confused time. I see the look on your face.
- 40:38Speaker 1: I think I could do that. I know you look
- 40:40Speaker 1: on my face, shine on shod and that was more
- 40:47Speaker 1: of us. That was more of a statement than a poem.
- 40:50Speaker 1: I know, stay, but it needs to be staying though
- 40:53Speaker 1: you ain't. You ain't gonna limit us. Just a February
- 40:56Speaker 1: were three sixty five and this jump you better your
- 41:01Speaker 1: your reaches into the deep water. It's what always throws
- 41:04Speaker 1: me when you don't normally go deep. It's always makes
- 41:08Speaker 1: It's always interesting when I see people diving the deep
- 41:10Speaker 1: end of the pool that normally stay in the shallows.
- 41:14Speaker 1: It just throws me. Yeah, I see see. Can you
- 41:19Speaker 1: call that with a raggedy yeah? No, pray fu me,
- 41:23Speaker 1: pray for me and my understanding of what it is
- 41:26Speaker 1: you're doing. Can I call that with a raggedy yeah?
- 41:31Speaker 1: Do you have a rebuttal? Yeah? Your name is Jay Rap.
- 41:36Speaker 1: It's already label. Yeah, before you say it, I'm looking
- 41:42Speaker 1: for it to fit into the name. Where do you
- 41:45Speaker 1: pull from, Junior? What do you pull from for your creativity? But? Oh,
- 41:49Speaker 1: where I pull it from? Just um, just something I
- 41:52Speaker 1: see on TV? And then you know what life be going? Yeah,
- 41:56Speaker 1: you know, you know, because you know I see people
- 41:58Speaker 1: going through stuff. You know, I just put it in
- 42:00Speaker 1: the poem for him, you know, like Antonio Brown, I
- 42:01Speaker 1: got one boy him coming up, you know, stuff like that.

- 53:44Speaker 1: it is Strawberry letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject my husband's
- 53:49Speaker 1: straight cat. Dear Stephen Shirley. My husband and I are
- 53:53Speaker 1: in our late thirties, and my husband is working on
- 53:55Speaker 1: his bachelor's degree. He's been at it for a few
- 53:58Speaker 1: years because he also works full time. He has an
- 54:02Speaker 1: old friend that is a high school English teacher, and
- 54:05Speaker 1: she's helped him a lot with his essays in public
- 54:07Speaker 1: speaking class. She's come by our home and sat with
- 54:10Speaker 1: him for hours at our kitchen table, trying to get
- 54:13Speaker 1: him together so he can get this degree. The farthest
- 54:16Speaker 1: thing from my mind was him being attracted to her
- 54:20Speaker 1: then he started to say things like intelligence as sexy.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I thought he was referring to me because I have
- 54:26Speaker 1: a degree and I'm a licensed social worker. He met her, though,
- 54:31Speaker 1: I noticed him texting her every morning, so I read
- 54:34Speaker 1: his texts a few times. A few weeks ago when
- 54:37Speaker 1: he was in the shower. He texted her good morning
- 54:40Speaker 1: Queen every morning, and her responses high king. Then it's
- 54:46Speaker 1: basic stuff like have a great day or read your syllabus,
- 54:49Speaker 1: but the fact that she gets a good Morning Queen
- 54:52Speaker 1: every day blew my mind. So my spighty senses were
- 54:55Speaker 1: up and I started paying attention to everything. I noticed
- 54:59Speaker 1: he changes his shirt impressions up before she comes over,
- 55:02Speaker 1: and he always has a little snack prepared. All of
- 55:06Speaker 1: this was going on right under my nose all along.
- 55:09Speaker 1: I finally got the chance to tell her to stay
- 55:12Speaker 1: in her place. She called me Saturday to let me
- 55:16Speaker 1: know my husband is on track to receive his degree
- 55:19Speaker 1: in May, and she wants to throw him a big
- 55:21Speaker 1: party and she wants my help. I told her she
- 55:26Speaker 1: had life all effed up because she's not throwing a
- 55:29Speaker 1: darned thing from my husband. I told her to stay
- 55:32Speaker 1: in her place. As the helper and once my husband graduates,
- 55:36Speaker 1: she can lose his number. She called me crazy and
- 55:39Speaker 1: hung up. Now my husband is furious and wants me
- 55:42Speaker 1: to apologize. Was I wrong? Well, I can't say that
- 55:48Speaker 1: you're wrong, because you handled the situation as you saw it,
- 55:52Speaker 1: and I'm sure as every other married woman sees it. Okay,
- 55:58Speaker 1: she needed to be checked at that point. She needed
- 56:00Speaker 1: to be She was out of line, and so is
- 56:02Speaker 1: your husband. I mean, it's not her place to give
- 56:05Speaker 1: your husband a party, and that's what this letter is
- 56:07Speaker 1: really about. That's your job. But she didn't give you
- 56:10Speaker 1: a chance. Did you not say anything, because certainly you
- 56:13Speaker 1: could have given him a party. She knows exactly what
- 56:16Speaker 1: she's doing, because what is up with? Good morning queen
- 56:21Speaker 1: and good morning king? What's that about? Or hi king?
- 56:24Speaker 1: Good morning queen, hi king? What is that? What is that?
- 56:28Speaker 1: She had one job, and that was to get him
- 56:30Speaker 1: to the finish line. She did that. Now she says
- 56:33Speaker 1: he's on track to graduate in May. Congratulation to your husband.
- 56:39Speaker 1: All the extra stuff she's trying to do is unnecessary.
- 56:43Speaker 1: And another thing, does he think you don't notice that
- 56:46Speaker 1: he's freshening up and putting up, putting on a clean
- 56:49Speaker 1: shirt and putting out snacks for her. I mean that's
- 56:52Speaker 1: good hospitality, I suppose, But I think of anything he
- 56:58Speaker 1: needs to do. He needs to on her to apologize
- 57:01Speaker 1: to you for overstepping with the party. You don't need
- 57:04Speaker 1: to apologize. Uh, you're definitely not crazy like she said.
- 57:09Speaker 1: You are the wife who is not here for another
- 57:12Speaker 1: woman giving her man a party. That's just it. You know,
- 57:15Speaker 1: that's it in a nutshell. You don't like that, and
- 57:18Speaker 1: you let it be known. Steve, Well, well, well, there
- 57:25Speaker 1: is so much confusion in this letter for me, because
- 57:32Speaker 1: I'm torn in this letter because I want to pick
- 57:39Speaker 1: a side, but I can't pick a side. But I'm
- 57:45Speaker 1: on both sides. But h and I shouldn't be. You're wrong,
- 57:53Speaker 1: but you're right, But you're right, but you're wrong. So
- 57:56Speaker 1: let me tell you where I'm starting. Stroke husband and
- 58:00Speaker 1: you in your late thirties and your husband working on
- 58:03Speaker 1: Bachelor greedy. He'd been at it for a few years
- 58:05Speaker 1: because he worked full time. He has an old friend
- 58:12Speaker 1: that is a high school English teacher, and she's helped
- 58:16Speaker 1: him a lot with his essays. An old friend. Ah see,
- 58:22Speaker 1: this is where I I keep telling y'all about these friendships.
- 58:28Speaker 1: I keep telling women over and over about these opposite
- 58:34Speaker 1: sex friendships. I keep telling you. Now, it could be
- 58:39Speaker 1: the rare occasion way it works, but it normally dealt
- 58:44Speaker 1: Here we go that old friend, high school English teacher.
- 58:49Speaker 1: She helped him a lot with his essays and public
- 58:52Speaker 1: speaking class. She's come by a house and set with
- 58:55Speaker 1: him for hours at y'all's kitchen table, trying to get
- 58:58Speaker 1: him together so he can get his to agree. Now,
- 59:01Speaker 1: you all, knowing women the way you do, ladies, you
- 59:05Speaker 1: know that one of the main characteristics of a woman
- 59:08Speaker 1: is nurturing. We love to take care of people. That
- 59:15Speaker 1: is one of the best qualities of a lot of women.
- 59:17Speaker 1: That innate nurturing skill that you have. Oh but it
- 59:22Speaker 1: can be too much. Yeah, the furthest thing from my
- 59:29Speaker 1: mind was him being attracted to her and why that's
- 59:32Speaker 1: so far away? She attractive ans And then he started
- 59:39Speaker 1: to say things like intelligence is sexy. That this is
- 59:46Speaker 1: why I have a problem with his stupid ass. Why
- 59:48Speaker 1: would you open your damn mouth? Intelligence is sexy. When
- 59:53Speaker 1: I come back, I'm gonna light your ass. Oh but
- 59:56Speaker 1: you bought this on yourself, your stupid ass. Hang on,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Steve we'll get part two of your response coming up
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after be our subject my husband
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: straight cat. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject is my husband's stray cat. Well,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: we got this married couple that's in the late thirties
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: and the husband been in school trying to get his
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: bachelor's degree, but he works full time. He's got an
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: old friend of his. Once again, I've told you all
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: about these opposite sex friends who comes by the house.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: That's an English teacher helping with his essays and his
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: speaking classes. And she's come to our house and set
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: at the kitchen table for I was trying to get
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: him together to get his degree. Then she said, the
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: furthest thing from my mind was him being attracted to her.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: How that so far from your mind? You don't have
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: a mind of a man, so now it's the this
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: thing from your mind. Then he started saying things like
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: men here, who I lost it. He started saying things
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: like intelligence is sexy. Why would you say that dog
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: to your wife? Why with your stupid because you, in
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: your turnis man, you don't know, why would you say that?
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Because c what he's trying to say. What he wanted
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: to find a way to verbalize the woman's sexiness because
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: he just can't help himself because he young. And but
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: then he tried to disguise it with intelligence is sexy.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: But now you dumb it in him because you thought
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: he was referring to you because you got a degree
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: and you are licensed social work. That's social work. That's intelligence,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: or degree that's intelligence. But all the years y'all been, man,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: he never told you intelligence was sexy because he wasn't
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: talking about you. He met her though I noticed him
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: texting her every morning. So I read this text a
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: few weeks ago when he was in the shower. Boy,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: if you're texting other women, you can't lay your phone
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: round if you're gonna take a time showers. The show,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: they got the stuff that they buy for kids when
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: they go to camp. They got this little thing they
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: fit around your neck where your phone going. This little
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: waterproof come on, so you can shower with your phone
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: hanging around your neck. Now, they for twelve year olds,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: but if your asses gone at twelve, then you need
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: the damn thing to go around your neck on the road.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: All right. So now I noticed some texting, and I
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: read a few texas while he was in the shower.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: He texts her good morning queen every morning. Her response
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: is high King. Now, Shirley, that's the dueling. Go now
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: we refer to each other. Okay, Well, I'm just saying
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: so he trying to be cute, high queen, high king,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: and he trying to keep it basic. That's basic stuff.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Like then it's basic stuff like have a good great day,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: or read your syllabus. Now that's a good one. Read
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: your syllabus that throws you off. Read Joe syllabus, something
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I've never done in all of my school years. I
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: still don't know what that is. Because I thought it
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: was syllables, and I was going, well, I do read
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: them as I'm pronouncing words. What I thought syllabus syllable.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: I thought syllabus was sillble plural, like more than one syllable.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: So I was going, I do that when I read
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: thank y'all and so anyway, but the fact that she
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: gets a good morning queen every day blew my mind.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: So my spotty senses were up, and I started paying
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: attention to everything. I noticed. He changes his shirt and
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: freshens up before she comes over, and he always has
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: a little snack prepared. Well, if you're gonna be sitting
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: in the kitchen at the table for hours, then you're
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: gonna want a snack. Now he's been at work, he
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: wanted freshen up. Didn't you hear him say? Intelligence? Its sexy,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: stupid ass. All this was going on right under my
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: nose all along. I finally got the chance to tell
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: her to stay in her place. She called me Saturday
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: to tell me her husband's on track to receiving his
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: degree and mate and she wants to throw him a
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: big party and she wants my health. Oh, now she's
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: stupid too. Yeah, you call a wife and say I'm
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: beIN to throw a big party for your husband and
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I won't chill. Help what lady, you already notice a
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: fit in the fly? I told her you could, You
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: got you got life left up? No you do, No,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: you got me twisted. You got this thing flet up
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Because she's not throwing a damn thing from my husband.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I told him stay in her place, and as the helper.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: As the helper once my husband graduates, she can lose
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: his number, She called me crazy and hung up. Now
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: my husband infusis he wants me to apologize. Was I wrong? Well,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: he wasn't wrong, but you was wrong? And what your
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: husband is using now here's an office and part your
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: husband is stress because he can't lose his tutor who
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: is sexually intelligent. And so now he gonna make you
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: the heavierness because you crazy. Are you crazy? Yes, yes,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: you're crazy. Were you wrong for this? No, no you are.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Should you have done it that way? Yes? You should have.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: You jeopardized him getting agreed. The boy probably ain't gonna
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: ever get it, Damnygreen. Now after a nah, he ain't
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: gonna make it. Hit us up on Instagram at Steve

- 1:07:58Speaker 1: That's what be going right with you. That's what I
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: do know that. Man. That's crazy. Man, it's so crazy. Man,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: It's just it's just hot. Okay, say okay, the middle level, Tommy,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: that's just in the middle. It's twenty eight thousand, three
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: hundred and seventy four. I was just to be under
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: two hundred level. This is la first of all so far.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Stadium wasn't even open last year when I did NFL
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Honors there to promote that the super Bowl would be
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: there the next year. This is going to be the
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: most star studied super Bowl in the history of Super Bowls.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: And and just for this seat, I can't do. Hey, dog,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: I would rather be at the house where I could
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: get instant replay, because that's the best seat is at
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: the house. I don't even like live football because you
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: missed too much. Yeah. Now, since you know Roger Goodell,
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: you think you can talk to him. I'm just asking thing.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: That's the one nobut it I can get you at
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Jackson State though, when they played Jillie. I have youth
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour when Kim
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Kay has had it with Kanye and we'll talk about
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: that right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, So here we go with this, Kanye,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: or excuse me? Yay? Isn't he ya? Now? Over the weekend,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Kanye posted, UM, since this is my first divorce, I
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: need to know what I should do about my daughter
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: being put on TikTok against my will. This was in
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: response to a short TikTok video that Kim posted of
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: her and their daughter North. Kim apparently is fed up
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: with Kanye's comments about her parenting, and she responded, uh,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Kanye's constant attacks on me and interviews and on a
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: social media it's actually more hurtful than any TikTok North
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: might create. As a parent who is the main provider
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: supervision because it brings her so much happiness. Kim went
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: on to say, divorce is difficult enough on our children,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: and Kanye's obsession with trying to control and manipulate our
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: situation so negatively and publicly, it's only causing further pain
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: for all from the beginning. I wanted nothing but a
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: healthy and support of co parenting relationship because it is
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: what is best for our children. And it saddens me
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: the way. So there you go with Kim's clap back.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: You know what, I agree with it. I'm actually Kim
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: has want her to perme correctiveness. Kanye gotta get out
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: of social media with this divorce and with this children
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: and things he's doing. And it's hard for you to
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: tell your children you don't want them to do something
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: that they see you doing. It's kind of hard, man.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: It's it's not it'sn't it. It's not like do as
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: I say, it's do as I do. You can tell
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: a person all day don't smoke weed, but if they're
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: in the house smelling weed, what you could quit tell
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: them not to smoke weed because you do it. And
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I think that Kim is perfectly right about this. And Kanye,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: this being my first divorce, well, I can tell you
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: right now, this ain't how you do it. I could
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: have called your boy because I have some experience at this.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: This is not how you do it. And he's just
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: wrong on this and what her clapback was classic and
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: it's just the right thing. You just posted a picture
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: of you giving your girlfrid you're not divorced from yet.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: You're not divorced from your wife. You're giving your new
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: girlfriend a broken bag, and you bought birken bag for
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: all her friends and they online post pictures with it. Now,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: you don't want North on TikTok. But now since you'd
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: have bought so much attention to it, North got over
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: sixty million followers. Wow, I'm talking about just like that.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: And the little girls TikTok, which people have shown me
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: is like little cute little stuff. But guess what they
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: monetizing that She advertizing ear rings, all kinds of stuff.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: But dog, you got to get off social media with
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: this divorce. Man, it's it's nothing can happen for you
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: through this divorce on social media. And she's dropping really
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: smart stuff. I being the main provider for these children,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: boy boy, that's a setup move. Kanye, You have no
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: idea the money you've been the paying child support. Homie
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: silly down their social media family with the Kardashians, that
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: the living color, that's I mean, that's what they do.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: That's a gig. Yeah, so how are you saying that
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: your daughter can't be a part of that. I don't understand.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: They've they've actually mastered it. Yes, they're very smart, man.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: They control the narrative. They charge for plugs them girls.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Is making a living at this, man, it's a new way. Yeah,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: it's the new way of doing things. Man. I don't
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: care for social media, but I've watched these people turn this.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: People turn this into millions of dollars. Yeah. I don't
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: want my daughter on TikTok you own Yeah. Yeah, but
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: he used to then't be on social media like this.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: That's what's so funny. Now he is all of us
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: because he wants to stand the public eye at all costs. Yeah.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: All right, coming up at twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: we're going to talk about method Man, because Method Man
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: right now, Steve is the man. Okay, we'll talk about
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, So Steve Rapper Empowered book too.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Ghost actor Method Man is on the cover of the
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: February digital issue of Essence, and his article his pictures
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: have been trending all weekend. I think you've started something here.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Steve method Man's female fans are swooning, swooning, I mean,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: just going crazy over these pictures. Method Man is forty
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: four years old. He stated that he is aware of
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: his handsome looks, but he does and I understand that.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: But he said, he doesn't keep himself up to please
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: the world. He said, I don't understand that. Sugar honey
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: iced tea. I go to the gym from my own
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: peace of mind. I don't do it to become someone
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: sex symbol or pin up on someone's wall. I do
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: it for me. Added people like attention. I'm the same
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: as everybody else. But at the end of the day,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: take me seriously, not lightly. So when I said you
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: started something, you know, he was looking good. He was,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: you know, in his gear and his drip and all
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: of that, looking really good. And I think it's a
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: trend for like, you know, older men to start really
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: looking good. Now, what do you think good? Now? It's
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: sort of funny, man, I can't. I stumbled into this.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: I didn't even really was not intentionally did or nothing
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: like this. I kind of stumbled into this, all right. Well, anyway,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: congratulations method Man. We love those congregulations. You're not gonna
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: be in that same catagory. How this method? Man? By
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: the way, he's real tall, real tall. Yeah, all right,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: do a round it. Would you rather? Right after this
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: you're listening show? All right, guys, time for a round
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: of would you rather? Would you rather make love outside
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: in a rainstorm? Think about that? Tommy already pick b
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: because if it's thunder, he's out. I promise you I'm
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: not gonna be able to help do anything for you
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: outside of that. I cannot go ahead, Go ahead, then, Tommy, Yeah,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: get me. I can't do nothing that rain. Okay? Would
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: you rather make love outside in a rainstorm or inside
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: a cave with bats? You tell me I'm gonna get
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: outside in that rain because I'm gonna tell you right now, man,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: I can get naked around these bats. As soon as
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: one of them fly by me, it's not gonna be good.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: I gotta I gotta switch back back in the rain.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: You outside, make it with a blanket over so I
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: can't see that lightning. I'm good then, because it's kind
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: of hard to wait these bats off and keep yourself
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: covered at the same time. I got cold myself. Man,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: I got I'm in here hollying with your damn bats.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Ma man, Hey, the wing racial bat dog or bat
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: fly across my ass while I'm nicking. You would just
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: pass out? Yeah? Would you rather fish in a gator
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: infested lake? I've done it? Huh. I've done that on
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: a rowboat gator infested lake. I was fishing on the
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: boat and saw six gators at eye level on the
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: lake in Florida fishing. Can't you've done that? Fishing my
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: ass off here? Or would you rather take the pass
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: code off your phone? Get up here with these past
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: cold off my phone? I wrestle there. Yeah, I can't
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: go out there with the gators. No ball, I'm going
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: you cuss me out about to gallgate and we've be
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: golfing in Africa. In Africa, no food right here. Tommy
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: got a ball extension thing where he can he can
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: extend the pole in case he knocked a ball in
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: the water, so he wants I'm not knock a ball
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: in the water. It's not my ball. No more you
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: going on? I got some more balls, Yeah, Tommy, Man,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: I gotta get my ball, I said, I said, Yo, dog,

- 1:20:08Speaker 1: I don't know things that rich people don't know. Wait
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: a minute, you what is big trash date? When you
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: have let's say you like you like if you want
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: to throw away a couch where the holder? What when
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: you Okay, I don't live nowhere where you can have
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: a couch sitting out on your law that I ain't
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: seen nobody pull a couch out on a tree law
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: heavy tragic date. See I this this what's crazy to me?
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: How you didn't had a couch so long that it's
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: not trash. It's been sitting in your house. But he
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: got your arge though, Steve, that you don't want but
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: you can't just put it out on a trash day. Yeah,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: you gotta wait for heavy trash day, heavy trash day.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: You can have something a piece of furniture, don't know,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: he's never heard of this before. Yeah, this is so
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: far fast. So what you said is when you want
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: new furniture, they just take the old furniture of bringing
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the new furniture must well, it's it's levels. And so
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: what I'm saying is that where I am now, it's
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: been a long time since i'd have set on the
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: couch until it became trade. That's the start set. I've
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: been here, man, and you just set on this couch
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: withhere the sprains popping through your ass and everything, the games,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: it's gone, and then I don't have nothing in the
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: garage has to Okay, you do know that they have services,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: okay that come to your house. Yeah, you don't. But
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: sometimes the services won't take some stuff, so you have
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: to plan according that's no such a thing. That's what.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: That's no such a thing. They don't come. They won't
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: take certain things. No, no no, no, no list together and
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: all that a list. Yes, you know, okay, don I
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: believe you. I believe that all this is happening. But see,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: y'all came to me because y'all know I'm out of
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: touch with a lot of stuff, and I'm grateful to
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: God that I'm not stuff. But you know what, don't
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: that leads me to my closing remark. I'm glad, y'all
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: to my closing remarks because you know what man, I do, man,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: and these are my clothes remark. I'm so grateful for
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: the things that have gone wrong in my life because
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: I've learned what those things actually produced in me. See,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: I had to finally figured out that my life isn't
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: by accident, that my life is actually by design. I'm
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: talking to you too. Your life isn't by accident. Folks,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: Your life is actually by design. It's a cool thing
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: to come to this realization because it used to really
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: really bother me when things would go wrong. But then
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: I had to mess around and learn what all of
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: is wrong stuff was leading up to. Because these wrong
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: things that seem to be happening in your life that
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: are on accident, they are actually by design. I really
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: I just didn't. Man. I'm so grateful that things didn't
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: happen exactly when I wanted to, because if everything had
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: to happen exactly when I wanted to, I never would
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: have learned a valuable lesson of patients that I needed
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: to learn. Because when things didn't happen to me when
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: I wanted it too, it actually taught me patience. And
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: how many times has patience been such a valuable lesson
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: in your life? I want to thank God for all
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: of my failures. As many times as I wished it
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: had not happened, I actually thank God for my failures, man,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: because you know what it did. It actually taught me
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: the lessons that I needed to learn about staying alive
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: and living. Because how many times those failures in my
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: past have given me the lessons that I needed to learn.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: So when it happens again, I don't even look at
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: that as a failure. It's just a bump in the role.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Let's just keep it rolling. See. I had to learn
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: to thank God for everything that was wrong in my life. Man,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: I want to thank God for all of my losses.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: Do you hear me? I thank God for all of
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: my losses because in all of those losses, you know
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: what I learned. I learned gratitude. I learned how to
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: be grateful for the things I do have. Wow. Man,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: but you got to lose something of value to really
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: start appreciating what you have. See. So what used to
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: trip me out? And now the things I look forward
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: to and I have embraced them, and I thank God
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: for that. I thank God for all the all of
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: the delays and the denials. I appreciate you Lord for
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: giving me delays and denials because you know what that
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: taught me. Faith. It taught me faith is belief in
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. So every time I got
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: delayed or got denied, I had to rely on my
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: faith because I just didn't see. I'm so grateful for
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: everything that went wrong in my life man, I hope
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: you feel the same way. Have a great day, man,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: take that which you talk to God to day He
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: loved to hear. Run. May thank you Lord. For all
