- 0:15Speaker 1: milking buck things in its sub true good to mother
- 0:27Speaker 1: for Please, I don't join join me. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turning you you you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you haven't got to turn them out? Then turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water. The water got me? Come come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: bad Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show, man, Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I do. Man. God been good to me. Man, He's
- 2:17Speaker 1: been so good to me. Wow. You know why I
- 2:24Speaker 1: say it like that. What makes it amazing is because
- 2:26Speaker 1: it's been in spite of myself. I mean you know
- 2:30Speaker 1: what I mean by that. I mean I mean that
- 2:33Speaker 1: he's been good to me, in spite of all the
- 2:37Speaker 1: craziness I've done, all the foolishness I've gotten myself involved with,
- 2:42Speaker 1: and not only got but knowingly got myself involved with,
- 2:47Speaker 1: all of the stupid decisions I've made. Put all that
- 2:53Speaker 1: to the side, and he's still been good to me.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Bring it all and put it on the plate and
- 2:59Speaker 1: he's still being good to me. Man. That's amazing man.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And I'm sure there's a lot of people that can
- 3:05Speaker 1: say the exact same thing. I mean, come on, man,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I got you, ain't famous, I got anybody, got no
- 3:11Speaker 1: microphone in your face, I got nobody, ain't got no
- 3:13Speaker 1: spotlight on you. I got nobody, ain't got no came
- 3:16Speaker 1: in your face. I got nobody properly. Ain't your body
- 3:18Speaker 1: blogging about you. But let me tell you something. If
- 3:21Speaker 1: you break it down and be real about it, Oh,
- 3:23Speaker 1: you haven't done something outside the box. You haven't done
- 3:26Speaker 1: something ladies included. You've done something out the box. You
- 3:29Speaker 1: woke up and went what did I do that for? Oh?
- 3:33Speaker 1: We've all done it. So when all that said and done,
- 3:39Speaker 1: God still loves you, man, God still loves you, still
- 3:42Speaker 1: wants you the best for you, still considers you his child.
- 3:45Speaker 1: And it's Willing's willing man to show you your future.
- 3:50Speaker 1: He is willing to show you your life. He is
- 3:54Speaker 1: willing to let you take a peek at the blueprint. Man.
- 3:58Speaker 1: That's an amazing God right there. Because I don't I know,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I couldn't do it. I couldn't do it. I'm glad
- 4:04Speaker 1: it's him, you know. Today, Man, I want to encourage
- 4:07Speaker 1: brothers out there. And when I say brothers, I'm talking
- 4:09Speaker 1: to everybody that's of the male species. I don't care
- 4:12Speaker 1: about your color. I really really don't. I don't even
- 4:15Speaker 1: have time for that in my day a matter a
- 4:17Speaker 1: matter of fact. Sometimes when you get to discussing races,
- 4:20Speaker 1: I just get tired of it. Sometimes I just wish,
- 4:23Speaker 1: you know, some days I just want to wake up,
- 4:25Speaker 1: just do me. You know, I got what what the
- 4:29Speaker 1: skin tone is, I got that. But I just want
- 4:31Speaker 1: to wake up some days and just going by my
- 4:33Speaker 1: business and do me. I don't want to have to
- 4:35Speaker 1: deal with it. Somebody. I get tired of talking about
- 4:36Speaker 1: the issues. Ain't gonna make them go away. But sometimes
- 4:38Speaker 1: I get tired, so the damn talking to brothers, all
- 4:41Speaker 1: the brothers of the male species. I'm talking about men today. Man,
- 4:47Speaker 1: If if you ain't doing it all, if you're feeling empty, man,
- 4:51Speaker 1: start today completing your process and your journey. And you
- 4:55Speaker 1: know what I'm saying by that, if there's a part
- 4:58Speaker 1: of you just missing as a man, and and now, man,
- 5:02Speaker 1: I'm talking to you. So you know, some ladies listening,
- 5:04Speaker 1: but you know, what I'm talking about. It's it's some
- 5:07Speaker 1: part of you that's missing as a man, if you
- 5:10Speaker 1: ain't really been in touch with your kids like you
- 5:13Speaker 1: supposed to now for whatever the reason is. And please no,
- 5:17Speaker 1: I do understand how sometimes women can use children as pawns.
- 5:24Speaker 1: It happens all the time. I've been through it. I've
- 5:27Speaker 1: been through it, man, I know what it feels like,
- 5:29Speaker 1: man to want to do something. But because you ain't
- 5:32Speaker 1: got this, or you ain't doing this, then I ain't
- 5:34Speaker 1: gonna let you have this. You gotta fight through, fellas,
- 5:38Speaker 1: you got to fight through. You got to fulfill your
- 5:43Speaker 1: end of the deal. And I got how difficult they're
- 5:46Speaker 1: making it. I got how man, it's gonna come with
- 5:49Speaker 1: some drama, but you gotta fight through it. Because, man,
- 5:52Speaker 1: we need fathers to be fathers. That's really what we need.
- 5:56Speaker 1: If you're a man out there and you are a
- 5:58Speaker 1: father of a child, we need you do your job.
- 6:02Speaker 1: We I'm talking about the our community, our situation, us
- 6:08Speaker 1: as a people, all of us. We need you to
- 6:11Speaker 1: be a father. Period. Hey man, I ain't coming down
- 6:16Speaker 1: on you. I'm just your boy. I'm your man, and
- 6:19Speaker 1: I've been in the same predicament in the same hole myself,
- 6:24Speaker 1: where I couldn't get to them, where they were used
- 6:27Speaker 1: as pawns, where they were told things about me that
- 6:30Speaker 1: wasn't even true. I've been through it. You can't see them,
- 6:34Speaker 1: you don't come on, okay, okay, I got all that.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You ain't sent this. You ain't okay, Hey, hey, got
- 6:38Speaker 1: all that. If if you can call them sometimes, tell
- 6:44Speaker 1: them you're thinking about them, Tell them you love them.
- 6:47Speaker 1: If you can get a letter to them, if you
- 6:50Speaker 1: can get a message to your children through one of
- 6:52Speaker 1: your relatives, start the process today. Be a father. It's
- 6:59Speaker 1: your job now. Because you ignoring him, or you acting
- 7:02Speaker 1: like they ain't over there, or you to back him
- 7:05Speaker 1: out of your mind because the situation got too difficult.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I got that, I got that. But you got to
- 7:11Speaker 1: step up and be fatherless. You got to write a letter.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You gotta send the money if she talking about it.
- 7:16Speaker 1: If you don't send all the money, you ain't gonna
- 7:18Speaker 1: see him. Send what you got if she if taking
- 7:20Speaker 1: it over there's too much drama, Send it through a relative,
- 7:23Speaker 1: give it to a mama, give it to her sister,
- 7:25Speaker 1: ask her to take it over there and do something
- 7:27Speaker 1: for the baby, because okay, okay, you can't deal with
- 7:30Speaker 1: the drama. I got that, and I know it's much
- 7:33Speaker 1: to pay when you had to deal with that, because
- 7:36Speaker 1: I clearly I know hell have no fury like a
- 7:39Speaker 1: woman scorn. Please know. I know that. Please know. And
- 7:42Speaker 1: that's a real statement. That ain't no saying. Steve got that,
- 7:46Speaker 1: that's the truth. But do what you gotta do. Sometimes
- 7:51Speaker 1: you have to apologize. Sometimes an apology goes a long
- 7:55Speaker 1: way to your children. Just hey, look, because I've made
- 8:00Speaker 1: this apology before. Hey man, look, I'm sorry. I wasn't
- 8:04Speaker 1: there for you. I was out grinding and hustling, and
- 8:07Speaker 1: I wasn't paying attention to you, and I should have been.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And I apologize now. I imagine, man, there's days where
- 8:14Speaker 1: you was telling people I was your father up at
- 8:16Speaker 1: the school and they wasn't believing you. I apologize for
- 8:19Speaker 1: sending you through that. But now, man, I tell you what.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I made some mistakes, and I got it together. I
- 8:26Speaker 1: want me and you to move forward as father and son.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I want me and you to move forward as father
- 8:31Speaker 1: and daughter. I want to be in your life now.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I ain't got a lot, but guess what, I know
- 8:36Speaker 1: a lot because if you're a man and you a father,
- 8:39Speaker 1: please know you know something that child don't know. You
- 8:41Speaker 1: have information, you have experience. That's all they need sometimes
- 8:46Speaker 1: to have somebody to talk to. That daughter yours just
- 8:49Speaker 1: needs to know from her daddy, how should a man
- 8:53Speaker 1: treat me? Dad? What should I look for in a man? See,
- 8:57Speaker 1: they'll take that information from you because they know it's
- 9:00Speaker 1: coming from the right place. And then you know that
- 9:03Speaker 1: your son needs you because you know how difficult it
- 9:07Speaker 1: is if you're trying to be a man without your daddy.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You already know how funky that is right there. So
- 9:13Speaker 1: come on, man and match your mistakes and move forward.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Call your kids, write a letter, get a phone number
- 9:20Speaker 1: on them, send a text, drop a message, send a
- 9:23Speaker 1: note up to the school. Do something. Man. If those
- 9:27Speaker 1: of us that are fathers would just be fathers, I
- 9:32Speaker 1: could shut the mentoring camp down. Now. I will say
- 9:37Speaker 1: I apologize because I don't want you to think I'm
- 9:39Speaker 1: coming down on you. But I've been through this myself.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I ain't really coming down. I'm just reminding you this
- 9:45Speaker 1: is our job. These are our children, this is our responsibility.
- 9:49Speaker 1: We all men. There is no excuses. You don't get
- 9:54Speaker 1: you don't get cut a break on that one. Sorry
- 9:58Speaker 1: you're listening da ladies and gentlemen. Another day has arrived,
- 10:06Speaker 1: another day, another opportunity to be grateful. I woke up
- 10:10Speaker 1: with it this morning, thanking him for just all the blessings. Now,
- 10:14Speaker 1: let me say something. You may not be where you
- 10:17Speaker 1: want to be, but can I tell you something you
- 10:21Speaker 1: on the way? Oh? Man, come on, you only wait
- 10:26Speaker 1: look at it like that. Good morning everybody. Sherley Strawberry
- 10:29Speaker 1: callin for real. Mouth of the South Junior government name
- 10:32Speaker 1: kills space and the legend that is nephew Tommy Junior.
- 10:35Speaker 1: What's on your mind this morning? Man? Watch as I answer. Yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 1: I've been the sun already. Know what man? It's gold
- 10:43Speaker 1: day to day? Man, vote day, vote day? Hunh y?
- 10:47Speaker 1: What's on the ballot for us to day? On? What
- 10:48Speaker 1: we vote for the day? What's this about today? Uh?
- 10:51Speaker 1: This is a vote for freedom, Yeah, a vote for justice.
- 10:59Speaker 1: This is a vote to proving points. Today is a
- 11:03Speaker 1: day where we stop the widespread belief that you could
- 11:09Speaker 1: do like you want to do to us. Today as
- 11:12Speaker 1: a day that we have an opportunity to get to
- 11:13Speaker 1: these polls and send a clear message around this country
- 11:18Speaker 1: that we are not going to allow the minority to
- 11:20Speaker 1: control the majority. We're not gonna do it. Symbol for
- 11:24Speaker 1: this country is the American eagle. In order for an
- 11:27Speaker 1: eagle to fly properly, it must have a right wing
- 11:30Speaker 1: and a left wing, a right wing and a left wing.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You cannot have it where one wing tells everybody else
- 11:40Speaker 1: what to do. In every case that does not work.
- 11:44Speaker 1: You got conservatives that's too conservative. You got liberals that's
- 11:47Speaker 1: too damn liberal. That's what you got, and we're tired
- 11:51Speaker 1: of it. You're not gonna have it. Gotta get some balance.
- 11:55Speaker 1: And when you lose, you can't get mad because you
- 11:57Speaker 1: lost and then create the delie that you didn't lose.
- 12:00Speaker 1: You did. But the race that concerns me more than
- 12:05Speaker 1: any race, and all of them are important, They're really
- 12:08Speaker 1: all of these races are equally important. Let me say
- 12:10Speaker 1: that they're all equally important. But the one that concerns
- 12:15Speaker 1: me the most, it's data went and got herschel Walker,
- 12:23Speaker 1: the most unqualified, unbelievable and no knowledge, no stance, having
- 12:36Speaker 1: no credibility. But then they did it with the presidency.
- 12:41Speaker 1: So why am I shocked? Why are you surprised? But
- 12:46Speaker 1: we cannot let herschel Walker in office. It'd be a
- 12:51Speaker 1: sad day, sad day, how sad day, sad day? And
- 13:00Speaker 1: really would be beautiful to see Stacy Abel in the
- 13:03Speaker 1: White House. I mean not in the White House, in
- 13:06Speaker 1: the governor's mansion. Yeah, this beautiful thing, wonderful first African
- 13:13Speaker 1: American governor. Yeah, that would be amazing. She's And for
- 13:18Speaker 1: those why y'all always trying to vote for somebody just
- 13:22Speaker 1: cause they black, because y'all asked voting for, and cause
- 13:24Speaker 1: the very reason you vote, why you ain't voting for,
- 13:28Speaker 1: is the reason I'm voting for. Yes, it's called she black.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Is that the same reason you ain't voting for? That's
- 13:34Speaker 1: the bigger question. Yeah, all right, thank you, Steve. Coming
- 13:39Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll hear
- 13:41Speaker 1: from the nephew as he runs that prank back right
- 13:44Speaker 1: after this you're listening show, all right, it's time to
- 13:49Speaker 1: start your morning off with the nephew and run that
- 13:51Speaker 1: prank back. What you got for his nap booty drop,
- 13:55Speaker 1: Let's go catch up. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Jordan. Please, Hey, Jordan,

- 14:34Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know who who's who gave
- 14:36Speaker 1: us your number or whatever, but they just told us

- 14:50Speaker 1: What you want some pictures? Yeah, we see this app
- 14:53Speaker 1: is uh, this app is called Booty Drop and what

- 14:59Speaker 1: people seeing a video they dropping their booty or you
- 15:02Speaker 1: could just send a picture of you behind. Have you
- 15:04Speaker 1: want to do it? You know, we're gonna make it
- 15:05Speaker 1: look real good or whatever. But you know you're gonna

- 15:26Speaker 1: You got me messed up. I don't drop no booty
- 15:28Speaker 1: for nobody but my man. Okay, So I don't know
- 15:31Speaker 1: who told you I was gonna be on here, but
- 15:32Speaker 1: I'm not doing no booty dropping. Okay, So hold on, okay,
- 15:36Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on all right. First of all,
- 15:38Speaker 1: somebody recommended you, you know, like I say, hold on. Now,
- 15:42Speaker 1: we got all the slides field itself for this one,
- 15:45Speaker 1: so you know, I don't want to I don't want
- 15:47Speaker 1: to have our app there, and then we ain't got
- 15:49Speaker 1: everything on there we need, so we gotta have you
- 15:51Speaker 1: to do this. Look, well, there's a lot of booties. Okay,
- 15:55Speaker 1: I'm not the only one, you know, thank you. No,
- 15:58Speaker 1: ain't gonna be no booty So I'm gonna assuming you know,
- 16:00Speaker 1: I don't mean no hard like I say this case,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I don't mean no harm. But let me ask you
- 16:04Speaker 1: this here. So evidently you must have a butt that
- 16:07Speaker 1: people admire. If you know, if they put your name
- 16:09Speaker 1: on here, then you must have a butt that they admire.
- 16:12Speaker 1: You know what I mean. I'm trying to be as
- 16:13Speaker 1: gentleman as possible. You understand what I'm saying. Uh? Is
- 16:16Speaker 1: it a reason why you don't want to, you know, participate.
- 16:19Speaker 1: What ain't nobody's gonna be putting their booty on the
- 16:22Speaker 1: internet or some app? No? No, no, okay, so let
- 16:27Speaker 1: me ask you this hire you ain't You ain't on
- 16:29Speaker 1: none of the other social media unless you don't have
- 16:31Speaker 1: no pictures on there or nothing like that. Not with
- 16:34Speaker 1: my booty. No, So you're just trying to tell me
- 16:36Speaker 1: that all your pictures are from the waist up. No,
- 16:39Speaker 1: they're not awesome to waist up. But I'm not about
- 16:41Speaker 1: to be flashing my booty and jiggling it for your app.
- 16:44Speaker 1: But but but see, you don't understand what booty drop
- 16:47Speaker 1: can do for you. Booty Drop, Booty drop can bring

- 16:59Speaker 1: t you tried it. Now, I say we put your
- 17:01Speaker 1: booty on there for the first week and you see
- 17:04Speaker 1: how many hits you get and if you don't like it,
- 17:06Speaker 1: then we take it down. That's how I'm saying. Just
- 17:08Speaker 1: you know, listen to k dub. Let me tell you something.
- 17:12Speaker 1: You're not about to put my booty on No out
- 17:15Speaker 1: talking about give it a week? You know I got

- 17:24Speaker 1: I'm saying. Give your booty a week on we good? No,
- 17:28Speaker 1: not putting my booty on the internet. So okay, are
- 17:31Speaker 1: you um insecure about yourself? No? I feel great about myself.
- 17:36Speaker 1: That's why I can say no. Let me just say
- 17:39Speaker 1: this to you. Now. When once Booty Drop blow up
- 17:42Speaker 1: and become a big a big time social media then
- 17:45Speaker 1: you know, social outlet, then you're gonna be wanting to
- 17:47Speaker 1: get back on here. And I'm gonna be honest with
- 17:49Speaker 1: your k Dub, I ain't gonna want your own here
- 17:51Speaker 1: no more because or the way you're acting with me. Now,
- 17:54Speaker 1: well that's okay, K Dub, you do you Bruce, it's

- 18:03Speaker 1: want to be a star. I'm trying to make you
- 18:04Speaker 1: a star, is what I'm trying to say. I'm all right.
- 18:07Speaker 1: I don't think I'm gonna be an Instagram star from
- 18:10Speaker 1: my booty jiggling. I'm okay. There's plenty of people doing
- 18:13Speaker 1: that already here. You'll find somebody to get that slot.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I'm just trying to make you a star. That's all.
- 18:19Speaker 1: You know what I'm really well, I really want to
- 18:21Speaker 1: know it's who told you to call me this? Some
- 18:24Speaker 1: more books? Don't nobody needs this. You don't call me
- 18:27Speaker 1: talking about you want to see my booty? Who do
- 18:29Speaker 1: you think I am? Better? Question? Who do you think
- 18:31Speaker 1: you are? This is some books Black women don't have
- 18:35Speaker 1: trying for this. You need to call talking about you
- 18:37Speaker 1: gonna pay some bills, that's what you need to call
- 18:38Speaker 1: talking about. Don't call me talking about no booties. I'm Sorry, what.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Don't call me talking about no booties. Call me talking
- 18:47Speaker 1: about you want to pay some student loans. Tell me
- 18:50Speaker 1: you're trying to pay a car note. Don't call me
- 18:52Speaker 1: talking about you want to see my booty on the internet.
- 18:55Speaker 1: This is so ridiculous, Like what is this book? Okay, okay, okay,
- 19:01Speaker 1: So I guess it's safe to say you ain't gonna
- 19:03Speaker 1: drop your booty. Ain't nobody dropping no booty. I'm launching
- 19:07Speaker 1: this tomorrow. I'm launching a whole lot of booty tomorrow,
- 19:10Speaker 1: and I'm gonna have one space empty. You see, this
- 19:14Speaker 1: is a great lesson in being prepared, starting early, because
- 19:17Speaker 1: you're gonna encounter some nos. Brother, No, but really, who
- 19:20Speaker 1: do all? I need to know who gave you my number? Like? Really?
- 19:23Speaker 1: Who thought that was a good idea? No? Really, because
- 19:25Speaker 1: you dodged into questions. I don't appreciate that. I need
- 19:29Speaker 1: to know, like who, Like I said, I don't know
- 19:32Speaker 1: who gave you I don't know. I don't. My job
- 19:35Speaker 1: is to get booty, drop feel and I'm missing one booty.
- 19:38Speaker 1: And here it is now. You know here this the
- 19:40Speaker 1: day before I'm launching. Here it is now. You don't
- 19:42Speaker 1: want to do it. Okay, well, but I need to
- 19:44Speaker 1: know who. Okay, Tommy the one told me you was
- 19:48Speaker 1: gonna do it. He said you would be up for it.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Who who is Tommy? Tommy? Tommy told me you would
- 19:54Speaker 1: drop that booty for our booty drop out. I don't
- 19:57Speaker 1: know who is Tommy? Tommy a few Tommy from The
- 20:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Play Jordan, you just got pranked
- 20:05Speaker 1: by your girl Amber. Okay, Amber, Okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 20:11Speaker 1: y'all playing this morning. Y'all got my blood pressure up? Okay,
- 20:15Speaker 1: y'all playing? Okay, you're good, baby, I'm sorry, Baby, you're good.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna calm down. I'm gonna calm down. I'm gonna
- 20:21Speaker 1: calm down. I see you, I see you got me.
- 20:25Speaker 1: You got me? Was that lit? I'm sorry? Was it? Look?
- 20:28Speaker 1: You got me lit? It was a little pressed up
- 20:30Speaker 1: over here. Okay, Okay, you got me using words I'm
- 20:33Speaker 1: not supposed to. You know what I'm saying, oh saying
- 20:36Speaker 1: some of them words drop? Okay, tell me this though, baby,
- 20:41Speaker 1: before we go. What is the baddest and I mean
- 20:43Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land, The Steve Harvey
- 20:47Speaker 1: Morning Show with neshew, Tommy, oh lord nephew. All right.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Coming up next, we'll ask the CLO Chief Love Officer
- 20:56Speaker 1: Steve Harvey right after this, asking me you're listening to
- 21:02Speaker 1: show well, today is the day go vote everyone, no excuses.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Today is the day. I hope you planned it out
- 21:10Speaker 1: and you're ready to get in there and fight and vote.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Yeah, Democratic
- 21:16Speaker 1: good edictorial candidate Stacy Abrams. Stacy Abrams will be our
- 21:21Speaker 1: very special guest. But right now, as we switch gears,
- 21:26Speaker 1: it is time to ask the CLOD all right. Heather
- 21:31Speaker 1: in Knoxville writes, A new Jamaican restaurant opened up by
- 21:34Speaker 1: my house, and I love the food, so I'm there often.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Sunday a new girl was taking orders and I've never
- 21:41Speaker 1: seen her there. She was very rude, so I told
- 21:44Speaker 1: the owner. He said she was his wife and she's
- 21:49Speaker 1: a crazy leo but harmless. Should I overlook it or
- 21:53Speaker 1: start eating elsewhere? What you want to do? The man
- 21:56Speaker 1: told you his wife? That mean he can't do nothing
- 21:58Speaker 1: body the food. She ain't got to beat the only
- 22:01Speaker 1: one services they bring food out? Does he eat? They eat?
- 22:06Speaker 1: The food? Being that complaining, the man told you, well, well,
- 22:12Speaker 1: don't go that in no more what you bright's fault?
- 22:14Speaker 1: This is see hello, this is for love relationships, not
- 22:17Speaker 1: the love of oxtails. Here for they got some good
- 22:23Speaker 1: ass oxtails. I don't care how man they are all right.
- 22:31Speaker 1: So you're saying, just go to another restaurant, okay, curse,
- 22:34Speaker 1: just go to that restaurant. She ain't the only ladies
- 22:37Speaker 1: stop tripping. Everybody ain't gonna be all sweet and kind
- 22:39Speaker 1: to you, this amerthon. You don't want to spend your money.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Where's somebody's route though, Steve, You don't y'all know, but
- 22:46Speaker 1: surely she wrote in to me, She didn't say this
- 22:49Speaker 1: ain't strumping that whatever. Y'all over here my signe. Anyway,
- 22:58Speaker 1: when it comes to down oxtails, that's what you're really
- 23:03Speaker 1: mad about. But take it out of all peas and peas,
- 23:09Speaker 1: all right, Carshena and Southfield says. My husband works at
- 23:12Speaker 1: the casino and he came home with makeup on his shirt.
- 23:15Speaker 1: He said, a drunk lady had to be carried out
- 23:17Speaker 1: of the casino, and he's a waiter, so why would
- 23:20Speaker 1: he carry her out? Do you believe a chick was
- 23:22Speaker 1: gambling alone? Drunk. Yeah, in Vegas. All all that's happening.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Everything has happened. He had to help us get off
- 23:33Speaker 1: and makeup, got on the column. She was drunk. Yes,
- 23:36Speaker 1: that sounds perfectly fine to me. Next question, Uma in
- 23:41Speaker 1: Charlotte write, So, I'm a twenty eight year old married
- 23:43Speaker 1: woman and I have a private suite from my estetician services.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I have a large client tale of males because of
- 23:50Speaker 1: a secret service that I do with my hands, and
- 23:53Speaker 1: it's an up charge. I only use my hands nothing else.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Is this cheating his hands? Yeah, you have been watching
- 24:03Speaker 1: the news her whole career. Gonna your ma gonna you
- 24:09Speaker 1: let your man find out if that's cheating or not
- 24:12Speaker 1: going on the word you're doing starts with an M,
- 24:16Speaker 1: and we all know what that is, and that's what
- 24:18Speaker 1: you're doing. Yeah, this is so cheating. This is what
- 24:23Speaker 1: you're doing. And you charge your up charge, happy yappy,
- 24:29Speaker 1: that's a form or anytime you sell sexual pleasures, that's prostitution.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Now you think your husband gonna be all right with that?
- 24:41Speaker 1: We'll let me ask you a question. Suppose your husband
- 24:43Speaker 1: had an esthetician business that he had a private Sweet
- 24:47Speaker 1: Sweet and a lot of his client Teles was women,
- 24:50Speaker 1: and he did a certain thing where he ut charged
- 24:53Speaker 1: and he only used his hands. How would you find out?
- 24:58Speaker 1: I think they bought temples and they do, they do.
- 25:05Speaker 1: That's what it parted. Let's go the next question. What
- 25:14Speaker 1: all right? This is the last one, very last one.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Chastity and Deston says, I've always wanted to live by
- 25:20Speaker 1: the beach, so I took a solo trip to Deston.
- 25:23Speaker 1: My husband told me if I went on the trip,
- 25:26Speaker 1: he was going to leave me, simply because it didn't
- 25:28Speaker 1: look right to our friends for me to go somewhere
- 25:31Speaker 1: by myself. My husband thinks I'm too headstrong. Why is
- 25:35Speaker 1: this a problem for him all of a sudden, Well,
- 25:39Speaker 1: it's not all of a sudden. You came into the
- 25:42Speaker 1: house all of a sudden and said you always wanted
- 25:45Speaker 1: to live on the beach, so you're taking the trip
- 25:47Speaker 1: by yourself. I mean, your husband may not want to
- 25:50Speaker 1: live on the beach, but he don't want to go
- 25:52Speaker 1: to the beach, so it does look suspicious. I don't
- 25:56Speaker 1: think it's worth losing your marriage over. You didn't say
- 26:00Speaker 1: you was going on a girl's trip, or you was
- 26:02Speaker 1: going with meet somebody there. You just said, you was
- 26:04Speaker 1: going by yourself. I don't think it should cost you
- 26:07Speaker 1: your marriage. But then we don't know the track record.
- 26:12Speaker 1: When what happened last time? You want somewhere by yourself?
- 26:15Speaker 1: H See, Well it's why is you always going somewhere
- 26:21Speaker 1: by your damn self? Always? She said, so I took
- 26:25Speaker 1: a solo trip to Deaston. Well, I'm just saying we
- 26:29Speaker 1: don't know the track record. So my question would be
- 26:32Speaker 1: if he has asked why you always going somewhere by yourself?
- 26:37Speaker 1: If this is the first and only time, it's not
- 26:39Speaker 1: cause to lose your marriage over but you know your
- 26:45Speaker 1: your explanation sounds shaking to me. I've always wanted to
- 26:48Speaker 1: live by the beach, so I've decided to take a
- 26:50Speaker 1: trip to Dustin by by myself. Okay, yeah, people go there.
- 26:59Speaker 1: It is man. Let that Pandama beaches up there nice?
- 27:03Speaker 1: But I don't. I can't why you why walk down
- 27:11Speaker 1: the beach? Take itself from trying to explain too famous?
- 27:18Speaker 1: You're too famous and too fine? Is that what you're
- 27:20Speaker 1: trying to tell her? Oh? Why ain't too fine? I
- 27:25Speaker 1: don't have to respond to somebody's comments though, that's the
- 27:28Speaker 1: damn show. You got a dad, bod Well, I'm a granddaddy,
- 27:38Speaker 1: So what what should she do? Her husband thinks she's
- 27:40Speaker 1: too headstrong and she wants to know why is it's
- 27:42Speaker 1: a problem for him all of a sudden, Well, because
- 27:46Speaker 1: you're headstrong. He wants a more submissive white Nah, you
- 27:53Speaker 1: ready for all that to get started, daddy. That's why
- 27:56Speaker 1: he having a problem with it, because he wants you
- 27:59Speaker 1: to be more submissive and you ain't, and you ain't
- 28:02Speaker 1: fitting to be. And this twenty twenty two, they don't
- 28:04Speaker 1: even have submissive wives no more. You ain't Amish, they
- 28:08Speaker 1: ain't fit to have. Let me, let me let me
- 28:14Speaker 1: take that back for our game, for saying that, Well,
- 28:17Speaker 1: what I'm supposed to do? You know, you know, unless
- 28:21Speaker 1: we're riding down you know what the speed limit is sixty. See,
- 28:31Speaker 1: I'm from Ohio, so I grew up. I'm from Ohio community.
- 28:38Speaker 1: They do. They have a huge Amish community. And you
- 28:41Speaker 1: get it in behind that horse and you be riding
- 28:46Speaker 1: to be going along. All of a sudden you got
- 28:48Speaker 1: slam on brakes, got to weight, and then you're the
- 28:51Speaker 1: double yellow line. You can't cross it. You're sending them
- 28:53Speaker 1: here behind it, buggy strong. They are sitting up in
- 29:01Speaker 1: here driving like he okay, thank you, Cielo Man Man
- 29:09Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. Very special guests,
- 29:13Speaker 1: this is Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams. Will be here
- 29:17Speaker 1: right after that. Now her ass can't go to Florida.
- 29:21Speaker 1: You're listening. Everybody has promise. Our very special guest is
- 29:28Speaker 1: our Democratic candidate for governor for the state of Georgia.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Georgia has a historic we had a historic early voter
- 29:36Speaker 1: turnout for this big election, and we want to keep
- 29:39Speaker 1: the momentum going as you head to the polls today. Well,
- 29:44Speaker 1: she's wrapped up her big Let's get it Done statewide
- 29:48Speaker 1: bus tour, so now it's up to Georgia voters to
- 29:51Speaker 1: get it done. Please welcome to the show our choice
- 29:54Speaker 1: for governor of Georgia, Miss Stacey Abrams. Welcome, wel come here,
- 30:01Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Morning. Yes, well, Miss Abrams, give
- 30:04Speaker 1: us an overview of your Let's get it Done statewide
- 30:07Speaker 1: bus too. What was that like for you? It was extraordinary.
- 30:10Speaker 1: We went all across the state from Statesboro to Brunswick,
- 30:14Speaker 1: to we were in millard Zille, we were down in Albany.
- 30:18Speaker 1: We went it's to our north that we were in Dalton,
- 30:20Speaker 1: We went everywhere, and the energy is real, the opportunity
- 30:25Speaker 1: is real, and if people show up today between seven
- 30:28Speaker 1: am and seven pm, we have we are going to
- 30:31Speaker 1: win this race. That's exactly right, and that's what we're
- 30:34Speaker 1: counting on. We've been pushing hard for all of your constituents,
- 30:39Speaker 1: all of our listeners on the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 30:42Speaker 1: even though we're a national show. Well I live in
- 30:45Speaker 1: it Adam, so I've been really really pushing for the
- 30:49Speaker 1: state of Georgia. But all of us on the show
- 30:51Speaker 1: have been pushing. We've got some concerns about Texas also
- 30:54Speaker 1: and everywhere else, but we've really been pushing forward now
- 30:58Speaker 1: and we noticed something the last Sunday's bait with Governor Kemp.
- 31:02Speaker 1: He failed to answer whether or not he'd signed new
- 31:06Speaker 1: abortion limits into law if he were reelected. Let's talk
- 31:10Speaker 1: about that for a minute. He absolutely will sign that legislation,
- 31:14Speaker 1: and what he was hesitating about was how bad it
- 31:17Speaker 1: was going to be. This is someone who was caught
- 31:20Speaker 1: on a mic saying that he was willing to limit
- 31:22Speaker 1: access to contraception. He was caught on another mic saying
- 31:26Speaker 1: he agreed with potential limits to women getting answers to
- 31:30Speaker 1: IVF treatment. He has also said he likes the Texas
- 31:34Speaker 1: bounty law allows people to turn in their friends for
- 31:38Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars if you accuse them of having an
- 31:41Speaker 1: illegal abortion. Those are the kinds of bills that he
- 31:44Speaker 1: will allow to come to his death and may sign.
- 31:47Speaker 1: And if that doesn't terrify every single person, you're not
- 31:52Speaker 1: paying attention for black women. This is dangerous. We are
- 31:58Speaker 1: three times more likely to die from the term of
- 32:01Speaker 1: mortality related issues. We are going to be investigated by
- 32:05Speaker 1: sheriff and all of these things will happen because Brian
- 32:09Speaker 1: temp does not care about the women of Georgia. Wow,
- 32:13Speaker 1: that was so obvious too, you know, and also, I
- 32:16Speaker 1: mean this guy, it's a clear choice for US Governor
- 32:21Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams. It's a clear choice for us when it
- 32:25Speaker 1: comes to choosing who should govern the state of Georgia
- 32:30Speaker 1: for the people, because it's obvious she's a candidate for
- 32:34Speaker 1: the people. We gotta get it together, y'all and get
- 32:36Speaker 1: out to these polls today. For those of us that
- 32:38Speaker 1: haven't early voted, We've got to get out to the
- 32:40Speaker 1: polls now. Also, let me bring this point up. Last
- 32:44Speaker 1: week Atlanta Medical Center closed. Yes, I said it was
- 32:47Speaker 1: going to happen, but it's closed, which now leads the
- 32:50Speaker 1: metro Atlanta area with only one Level one trauma center
- 32:54Speaker 1: as Grady Hospital. Grady is already overrun with patients. This
- 33:00Speaker 1: is the sixth hospital that has closed. Is this the
- 33:03Speaker 1: sixth one that's closed? On the camps? Is the sixth
- 33:07Speaker 1: one that's closed. And he has given away, meaning he
- 33:11Speaker 1: has refused to accept twelve billion dollars in the last
- 33:16Speaker 1: four years that could have saved those hospitals and saved lives.
- 33:21Speaker 1: And let's let's be clear what it means to not
- 33:23Speaker 1: have a Level one trauma center. We have the ninth
- 33:26Speaker 1: highest gun violence rate in the nation. When a gun
- 33:29Speaker 1: wound happens, if you're lucky, it's just you just need
- 33:33Speaker 1: to go to a hospital. But if it is a trauma,
- 33:35Speaker 1: which most gun violence is, if Grady can't take you,
- 33:40Speaker 1: the next closest trauma center is making eighty five South. Yes,
- 33:46Speaker 1: the next closest trauma center is making We're down to
- 33:50Speaker 1: Grady Atrium and making Memorial down in Savannah and Augusta
- 33:57Speaker 1: as a hospital. That's it. That's it. And so I
- 34:02Speaker 1: think about what happened to take off and Houston, I mean,
- 34:05Speaker 1: God rest his soul. And it is a tragedy. A
- 34:08Speaker 1: man was a beautiful musician and an artist. He was
- 34:11Speaker 1: killed by senseless gun violence. He's a son of Gwynette County.
- 34:17Speaker 1: This is a young man. What happened to him in Houston,
- 34:20Speaker 1: could happen does happen in Georgia? And if you are
- 34:24Speaker 1: one of the victims, you can you need access to
- 34:28Speaker 1: a hospital. Look right now, Emily is on the version
- 34:32Speaker 1: they can't take you. He is not going to take you.
- 34:36Speaker 1: We don't know where they will say. If you need
- 34:37Speaker 1: a level one pharma center, it is naked. That's where
- 34:41Speaker 1: you have to go if you survive. Wow, unbelievable and
- 34:47Speaker 1: not real because Atlanta has a gun violence that is
- 34:51Speaker 1: has and now people are gonna go, what is such
- 34:53Speaker 1: a high climb area? Do you know that's directly related
- 34:57Speaker 1: to gun laws? O? I have vidy So gun violence
- 35:02Speaker 1: has increased twenty three percent under Bryan Kemp. And if
- 35:05Speaker 1: you watched the debate before he alive and says that
- 35:08Speaker 1: we had background checks, Georgia doesn't have a universal background text.
- 35:11Speaker 1: He made sure of it by eliminating the background check
- 35:15Speaker 1: for a con healed carry permit. He eliminated one of
- 35:17Speaker 1: the few background texts we have for guns with a
- 35:20Speaker 1: purchase either in private sale or in gun shows. And Steve,
- 35:24Speaker 1: you know this. There's a gun show every week in Atlanta,
- 35:26Speaker 1: every week in Georgia, and you do not get a
- 35:29Speaker 1: background check. There is a loophole if you buy a
- 35:32Speaker 1: gun through a gun show or through a private sale.
- 35:35Speaker 1: He has made it more dangerous to live in Georgia.
- 35:37Speaker 1: And he has now made it more dangerous and more
- 35:39Speaker 1: lethal to try to survive in Georgia. That's what we're
- 35:43Speaker 1: deciding today. We're deciding do you want a governor who
- 35:46Speaker 1: believe and protecting your life, protecting your freedom, and protecting
- 35:51Speaker 1: your wallet. Brian Kemp doesn't believe in doing any of
- 35:53Speaker 1: those things for folks who he doesn't consider like him.
- 35:57Speaker 1: None of it. Not a damn thing. Miss Abrams. Hang
- 36:00Speaker 1: on one second, great interview. Hey y'all, we're coming back
- 36:03Speaker 1: with more with our future governor, Stacey Abrams. Right after this.
- 36:08Speaker 1: You're listening, and everybody, we're back in our special guests
- 36:13Speaker 1: this morning is goovernorial candidate Stacey Abrams. And if we
- 36:16Speaker 1: get out and do our job today, we could be
- 36:19Speaker 1: talking to the next governor of the state of Georgia.
- 36:23Speaker 1: I'm so sick of a way it's done to the
- 36:26Speaker 1: people of Georgia. We need a change in here. And
- 36:30Speaker 1: that's how urgent today's election in And why do we
- 36:34Speaker 1: need everybody, Why do we need everybody to get out
- 36:37Speaker 1: and vote, especially black men, Miss Abrams, because we have
- 36:41Speaker 1: seen record turnout and black men have actually performed better
- 36:45Speaker 1: than any population. They've actually outperformed black women as a
- 36:49Speaker 1: percentage of their turnout from twenty eighteen by one point.
- 36:52Speaker 1: But it's still more. And that's the thing. We have
- 36:55Speaker 1: seen the historic turnouts and if we keep up the momentum,
- 36:59Speaker 1: we win. The numbers are in our favor. But what
- 37:03Speaker 1: they're counting on is that we showed up for early
- 37:06Speaker 1: voting and now we're going to sit down the seas
- 37:07Speaker 1: we're done. And what I know we know is that
- 37:10Speaker 1: we're not done until the last full closes. And that's
- 37:13Speaker 1: why I need people to get in line and stay
- 37:16Speaker 1: in line. They are hoping you will give up. They
- 37:18Speaker 1: are hoping they're going to be distracted by the fact
- 37:21Speaker 1: that Cobbs County fail to send out a thousand apps
- 37:24Speaker 1: and key ballots they're going to hope you get distracted
- 37:26Speaker 1: by someone asking you if you have the rights to vote,
- 37:28Speaker 1: you have the rights, you have the responsibility, and we
- 37:32Speaker 1: have the reason we can win. And if we win,
- 37:35Speaker 1: we have six point six billion dollars sitting in our
- 37:39Speaker 1: bank account that we can use to invest in education
- 37:43Speaker 1: and healthcare, in affordable housing, and helping small businesses, especially
- 37:48Speaker 1: black owned businesses, get the resources they need. This governor
- 37:51Speaker 1: is okay with the fact that black people get are
- 37:54Speaker 1: thirty three percent of the population, but get less than
- 37:56Speaker 1: two percent of business revenue, and people will color all
- 37:59Speaker 1: together get less than two percent of the state contract.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I can change that the day I become the governor
- 38:05Speaker 1: of Georgia. That's exactly right. And you know what else, folks,
- 38:08Speaker 1: that's six billion dollars that he's just sitting on. It
- 38:12Speaker 1: would have saved the Atlanta Medical Center. Yeah, I've learned
- 38:16Speaker 1: this is a fact. Now it's money sitting there that
- 38:19Speaker 1: he doesn't have to request. It's available because he's the governor,
- 38:24Speaker 1: he has the power to sign. Is that a true statement? Said? Absolutely.
- 38:29Speaker 1: I'll give you a perfect example, four hundred million dollars
- 38:32Speaker 1: sitting in what's called the rental assistance fund. That's the
- 38:36Speaker 1: money that's supposed to help put people from being evicted.
- 38:39Speaker 1: On Tuesday, the same day that the Atlanta Medical Center
- 38:42Speaker 1: shut down, he also shut down the portal, so no
- 38:45Speaker 1: one can apply for the money, even though we've got
- 38:48Speaker 1: people on the edge of adviction. On November first, the
- 38:52Speaker 1: day you pay your rent, the day you pay your mortgage,
- 38:54Speaker 1: he turned off the access the four hundred million dollars
- 38:58Speaker 1: in Georgia tax care is money because he doesn't want
- 39:02Speaker 1: to give you the money, and he nui to turn
- 39:04Speaker 1: it off. I turn it back on case you're trying
- 39:08Speaker 1: to make this about race. That type of policy effects everybody.
- 39:13Speaker 1: So those constituents in Georgia who are hurting financially, who
- 39:18Speaker 1: needs the assistance that hurts you as well, black or white.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Hang on one second from Miss Abrams. We'll be right back.
- 39:27Speaker 1: We gotta take a quick break. When we come back,
- 39:29Speaker 1: we'll have more with Miss Stacey Abrams. You're listening, all right, everybody,
- 39:37Speaker 1: We're back. We're back in our special guests this morning.
- 39:40Speaker 1: This uh, miss Stacey Abrams, who's on the ballot today
- 39:44Speaker 1: against Kemp for the governorship of Georgia, and we need her.
- 39:49Speaker 1: We really really do, Miss Abrams. I want to pay
- 39:53Speaker 1: you a compliment, ma'am. I've watched you very closely. You
- 39:57Speaker 1: have poured out your heart and soul into this mission.
- 40:00Speaker 1: You have campaigned, you have put forth an effort. I
- 40:05Speaker 1: haven't seen it. You have worked tirelessly. You. I think
- 40:10Speaker 1: you're a woman of your word. I think that you
- 40:12Speaker 1: are just what Georgians need. I think today is important.
- 40:17Speaker 1: We've got to get to the polls. We've got to
- 40:19Speaker 1: stand in line. It doesn't matter. Take your water with you,
- 40:24Speaker 1: take your lawn chair with you, take your prop up stool,
- 40:28Speaker 1: get yourself comfortable. Do not allow them to vote a
- 40:31Speaker 1: suppression to stop you from voting. Today. We can make
- 40:36Speaker 1: a difference, just like we did in two thy eighteen
- 40:40Speaker 1: and brothers, your boy is calling on you. Get to
- 40:43Speaker 1: the polls and prove them wrong today. Thank you. I
- 40:49Speaker 1: want to help people go to Stacey abramst complex votes,
- 40:52Speaker 1: because the only other thing they're gonna do to you
- 40:54Speaker 1: is if you go to the wrong precinct in your county,
- 40:57Speaker 1: go to the right county, but for the wrong precinct
- 41:00Speaker 1: to be you could get a provisional ballot and come
- 41:02Speaker 1: back and tick it. Brian Kemp changed that law because
- 41:05Speaker 1: seven thousand vote like that helped Joe Biden win in
- 41:09Speaker 1: twenty twenty, so he changed the law. Now, if you
- 41:12Speaker 1: go to the wrong precinct before five pm, they will
- 41:15Speaker 1: not give you a provisional ballot. So go to Stacey
- 41:18Speaker 1: Abrams dot com slash vote, make sure you're at the
- 41:20Speaker 1: right polling place, and once you get there, stay in
- 41:25Speaker 1: line until he cast the ballot. Every vote counts. We
- 41:29Speaker 1: won in twenty twenty, we won in twenty one, we
- 41:31Speaker 1: came incredibly close in eighteen. We can get it done.
- 41:35Speaker 1: We have unfinished business, and we can finish that business
- 41:38Speaker 1: today by seven pm. Show up, show out, and show
- 41:42Speaker 1: America who Georgia is. Ladies and gentlemen. Let's get it done.
- 41:46Speaker 1: The next governor of the State of Georgia, Miss Stacey Abrams.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Go to Stacy Abrams dot com. Everybody, Stacey Abrams dot
- 41:57Speaker 1: com slash vote, sash vote, y Abrams dot com dot
- 42:04Speaker 1: com slash vote check your precinct, make sure you're there.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Because voter suppression is real. They found another way to
- 42:12Speaker 1: stop us. Make sure you're in the right so you
- 42:15Speaker 1: don't have to get a provisional ballot. Because they're not
- 42:17Speaker 1: gonna give you one. Make sure you go to the
- 42:19Speaker 1: right precinct today, double check before you get into can
- 42:23Speaker 1: make you move. They are trying everything. We are going
- 42:26Speaker 1: to survive at all. Miss Abrim, thank you so much.
- 42:28Speaker 1: We will be talking to you soon. Thank you all
- 42:31Speaker 1: so much. I still appreciate your help. So y'all. So
- 42:34Speaker 1: that's it we've heard from her. Today, today's voting day.
- 42:38Speaker 1: We gotta get to these polls, y'all. For everybody that
- 42:40Speaker 1: didn't early vote, it's okay. We're voting today. It's okay.
- 42:44Speaker 1: And make sure everybody make sure before you go to
- 42:47Speaker 1: the polls go to Stacy Abrams dot com, slash dot com,
- 42:52Speaker 1: slash vote, abrams dot com slash vote, and make sure
- 42:58Speaker 1: you check your precinct because we've done that before. My
- 43:01Speaker 1: wife and out. They moved out precinct and they moved
- 43:04Speaker 1: the precinct and they had to give us a provisional
- 43:06Speaker 1: ballot because they had moved out precinct. Well, he's passed
- 43:10Speaker 1: the law to stop that. Seven thousand people happened last year,
- 43:14Speaker 1: and you remember all they needed was eleven thousand, and
- 43:17Speaker 1: Trump would have been in in Georgia. Did you hear me, yes, sir.
- 43:23Speaker 1: So they found seven thousand ways. Now, they found seven
- 43:26Speaker 1: thousand votes to try to trick us. It's called voter suppression, everybody.
- 43:30Speaker 1: It's no need to pass that law. It's no need.
- 43:34Speaker 1: They are the most hateful ass people man, when they
- 43:38Speaker 1: come to not getting their way. These politicians, this party
- 43:42Speaker 1: can be hateful. Man. It's when at all costs, I'm
- 43:46Speaker 1: telling you right now. They voted for Donald Trump and
- 43:49Speaker 1: to win at all costs. You put this in moral
- 43:52Speaker 1: guy in the White House. Ain't paying taxes, now, that's
- 43:56Speaker 1: what they don't care about that. It's not in a
- 44:01Speaker 1: dug up. This old ass slave name Herschel, and it
- 44:05Speaker 1: brought his ass over here to George and gave him
- 44:08Speaker 1: a free house and everything. Put this slave at the
- 44:12Speaker 1: damn dope, man, miss me. Thank you to the black
- 44:16Speaker 1: men who have been showing up at the polls. Thank you.
- 44:19Speaker 1: All right, we need more of you things were showing
- 44:21Speaker 1: up against Herschel. Yes, we'll be back with more of
- 44:26Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening
- 44:30Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 44:34Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's
- 44:37Speaker 1: my Strawberry letter for today and the subject is he
- 44:41Speaker 1: hid his wife for years. Okay, we'll find out what

- 47:34Speaker 1: me before that that. That don't sound right, sir. Don't

- 48:22Speaker 1: no picture for a funeral that I'm not even dead yet.
- 48:25Speaker 1: I don't. I don't get that. That that sounds like
- 48:27Speaker 1: a munch of more and ill. Where the hell gave
- 48:30Speaker 1: you my number? That's what I want to know, sir.
- 48:32Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure. But one thing we have to
- 48:34Speaker 1: do is we have to follow through with our job.
- 48:37Speaker 1: So what we're gonna have to do is we I
- 48:39Speaker 1: have to come out there and take a picture. So
- 48:42Speaker 1: I don't want to, you know, create a problem, but
- 48:44Speaker 1: I have to get a picture of you by next week.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Oh it's gonna be problem because you're not getting a

- 54:14Speaker 1: hear from you. Buckle up and hold on tight. We
- 54:16Speaker 1: got it for you. Here It is drawbervery letter. Subject
- 54:20Speaker 1: he hid his wife four years. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've
- 54:24Speaker 1: been married for twelve years and I've been a side
- 54:27Speaker 1: check for the past four years. My husband brought me
- 54:30Speaker 1: a bad gift home four years ago, and I had
- 54:32Speaker 1: to take antibiotics and two shots to get rid of it.
- 54:37Speaker 1: It wasn't just the fact that he cheated on me,
- 54:39Speaker 1: but the lady he messed with told me that he
- 54:42Speaker 1: never used any protection. I stopped having sex with my
- 54:46Speaker 1: husband altogether, but I didn't want to divorce. I get
- 54:50Speaker 1: all of my needs met by my man on the side,
- 54:53Speaker 1: who led me to believe he's divorced. He said he
- 54:57Speaker 1: owns his home and it was a nice and very
- 55:00Speaker 1: neat home. He's cooked for me there, and he allowed
- 55:04Speaker 1: me to keep toiletries there to freshen up after we
- 55:07Speaker 1: have our fun together. My husband and I got in
- 55:10Speaker 1: a big argument the other night, and I called my
- 55:12Speaker 1: sideman and told him I needed to see him. He
- 55:16Speaker 1: gave me the code to his front door and told
- 55:18Speaker 1: me to spend the night at his house and he'd
- 55:20Speaker 1: be there in the morning. He was at his sister's house.
- 55:24Speaker 1: I was shocked he let me stay in his house alone.
- 55:27Speaker 1: After I got ready for bed, I started doing what
- 55:30Speaker 1: any woman might do. I snooped his drawers and in
- 55:35Speaker 1: his home office. He only had a few pair of
- 55:38Speaker 1: underwear in the dresser, with two shirts and a jogging
- 55:40Speaker 1: suit in the closet. Everything was so neat that it
- 55:43Speaker 1: seemed unreal to me. I checked his home office and
- 55:47Speaker 1: found a for rent sign or found for rent signs
- 55:50Speaker 1: in his closet with his phone number on the signs.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Then I found utility bills in a woman's name for
- 55:58Speaker 1: this same address. I found or on Instagram and realize,
- 56:01Speaker 1: she's my man's wife. How did he hide a wife
- 56:05Speaker 1: for four years? Was this their rental property or airbnb
- 56:10Speaker 1: that I spent the night in? I called him for
- 56:13Speaker 1: some answers, but he won't call me. Why would he
- 56:16Speaker 1: hide his marriage? Well, I think he hit his marriage
- 56:22Speaker 1: because he obviously didn't want you to know he had
- 56:24Speaker 1: a wife. I mean, that seems, you know, the most
- 56:28Speaker 1: simple answer. He didn't want you in his business. You're
- 56:32Speaker 1: not his wife. You're just a side chick, so he
- 56:34Speaker 1: doesn't owe you an explanation. That's the only thing I
- 56:38Speaker 1: see here. You're probably thinking, but I've been with him
- 56:41Speaker 1: for four years. Why wouldn't he tell me he was married?
- 56:44Speaker 1: Because I guess in his mind that's not what it is.
- 56:48Speaker 1: He knew you were married, and I'm assuming you told
- 56:50Speaker 1: him early on. That would have been a good time
- 56:52Speaker 1: for him to tell you he was too, but he
- 56:55Speaker 1: just didn't. I mean, he knew you guys were just
- 56:57Speaker 1: sleeping together and that's it as far as it would go.
- 57:01Speaker 1: So that information he decided to keep to himself. But
- 57:05Speaker 1: here's a question for you. Did you ever ask him?
- 57:10Speaker 1: Why didn't you ask him? I'm sure the answer is no,
- 57:13Speaker 1: because if you had asked him, he probably would have
- 57:15Speaker 1: told you had you asked him. That's one of the
- 57:18Speaker 1: first things you should ask. You didn't say he lied
- 57:22Speaker 1: to you. You just said he led you to believe
- 57:25Speaker 1: he was divorced. That should have been the first thing
- 57:28Speaker 1: you asked. Like I said, so, don't blame your side piece,
- 57:32Speaker 1: you know, for not telling you. And remember you did
- 57:35Speaker 1: go snooping for something, and you know the saying when
- 57:38Speaker 1: you go looking for something, you're usually going to find it,
- 57:41Speaker 1: and you found it. Okay, So now what are you
- 57:44Speaker 1: going to stop seeing this man? I doubt it. I
- 57:47Speaker 1: doubt that you are, especially after four years. And anyway,
- 57:50Speaker 1: you're married too, So now you're just two people cheating
- 57:54Speaker 1: on their houses. I mean, what do you want? What
- 57:58Speaker 1: do you want from us? See? What does she want? Well,
- 58:03Speaker 1: let's just start the letter. The title of the letter
- 58:08Speaker 1: is he hid his wife for years. Let's go to
- 58:12Speaker 1: the bottom of the letter. Here's the question, why would
- 58:15Speaker 1: he hide his marriage. Number one answer why you don't
- 58:21Speaker 1: have the answers to none of these because you ain't nothing?
- 58:29Speaker 1: And a hush fell over Jerusalem because you ain't nothing.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Listen to me, lady. First of all, you don't respect
- 58:43Speaker 1: your marriage. You don't respect yourself, but you want somebody
- 58:49Speaker 1: else to respect you. Are you kidding me? Why do
- 58:54Speaker 1: you got to tell you folk? You're cheating on your
- 58:57Speaker 1: husband with this man. You're the cheater here. Now he
- 59:07Speaker 1: out a wife and he cheating too. Your question ain't
- 59:11Speaker 1: how do I get out of this? Your question ain't
- 59:14Speaker 1: how did I get into this? Your question ain't what
- 59:19Speaker 1: do I do now? How do I get him to
- 59:21Speaker 1: recognize me? How do I get him to tell me
- 59:25Speaker 1: he married? For what Shirley said the best? You're nothing
- 59:30Speaker 1: to leave him, You're nothing to stop. So what you
- 59:35Speaker 1: write us for? You're cheating with the man because you
- 59:41Speaker 1: made a decision not to get a voice, and you
- 59:43Speaker 1: get your needs met by your man on the side.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Now you've been a side chick for the past four
- 59:49Speaker 1: years because you discovered newly that the guy you've been
- 59:54Speaker 1: getting your needs, Matt When, is married and he didn't
- 59:57Speaker 1: tell you. You know why he didn't tell you can't
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: say this again because you ain't nothing. You ain't nothing.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: He didn't let you come up with some little piece
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: of house he got somewhere, gave you a colde to
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: some little piece of house. He got a little extra
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: piece of property for his extra piece. You the extra piece.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: You see. Oh that thought, Steve, We come back. I'm
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: gonna tell you what y'are. Yeah. Well, a part two
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up, coming up in twenty three
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter, subject he hit
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: his wife for years. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter, the subject
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: he hid his wife for years. The only question this
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: woman has in this letter is at the bottom of it.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Why would he hide his marriage? Because you ain't nothing.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: He ain't got to tell you nothing. You have a
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: husband that brought a venereal disease home, which is known
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: now as a sexually transmitted disease. In my era, that's
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: called VD. That's how you know you old when it's VD.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Now I'm gonna tell you right now, I can tell
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: you exactly what you had, because if you had to
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: take antibiotics and two shots to get rid of it,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: you had the one that starts with the G because
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you can't get rid of the other one. Huh see
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: the other one, penicilla don't work on. But the one
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: that starts with the G. You can get healed from
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: that one. And that's why you with him, because you
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: got healed. That's a shot in some antibiotics. And you
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: just found out through a checkup. But he bought at
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: home because he has actual symptoms here in the bathroom.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Hog it. You get symptoms and you don't know till
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: you go get a check up. That's how you found
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: out he bought at home. To you, now, I just
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: want to clear that up. That's a lot of trips
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: around the sun. I know all this type of things
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: right here. You know, I'm from the DD generation. That's
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: what she had now sharing Wow. And then the lady
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: he messed with told you he never used perfection protection.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: You know what, people in your life can just come
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: to you with anything. You just you just a little
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: wealth of information. Everybody's just tell you anything. The lady
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: that he messed with carl you and told you. We
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: ain't never use no protection. That's how he hit got
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: what I got. I ain't even know I had it.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: And you need to go get yourself checked out. That's
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: how you found out you had it. But he knew
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: he had it because he was in the bathroom. Holly,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I'm telling y'all. Did what happened? Girl? You're lying? No,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: you got it. Go get yourself checked. Now he gave
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: it key to the house. And now she said I
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: didn't want to divorce it. I get all my knees
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: meant by a man on the side who led me
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: to believe he's divorced. I don't know if he led
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: you to believe that. I don't think you asked, like
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Shirley said, say they owns his home. It was nice
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: and very neat home. He cooked for you. Then all
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: like that, your husband gotten a big argument the other night,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: and then you call your side man and told him
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: you needed to see him. He gave you a cold
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: to the front door, told me to spend the night,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: and he was over there at his sister's house. Now
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: he wasn't at sis house. He was at home with
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: his wife. What dude, who spend the night at day's
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: sister house Who do that? When man man spend night
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: his sister house man, Please lady get out of here.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I was shocked. He letting me stay in this house alone.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: So I did. With anybody else to do, I started dipping.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I snooped through his drawers in the office at home office.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: He only had a few peril or underwear and addressing.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: That's called that's his side spot for his side chicks
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: see and you the other side chick. Then I found
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: a utility bill and all this him. How did he
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: have a wife for four years? Because you weren't looking
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: for nothing but a side piece. You was looking for
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: somebody to meet your sexual needs. Since you start sleeping
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: with your husband, since he gave you the G word,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Now that's all you want it. You want to just
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: sleep with this man now. I called him for some answers,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: but he won't call me. You standing at his house.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: He can't call he's sitting next to his wife. I
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: can't call you. He gave you the cold you in
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: the house. Let me explain something to you what you
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: are when you go to buy chicken at a fast
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: food restaurant. Let's use Popeyes for an example, because they
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: have a good chicken, and you ordered a chicken. Let
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: me show you where you fit at in this right here.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: You're not an extra thigh, you're not an extra breast.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: He didn't ask for a two piece. You, ma'am, are
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: the slawm you're the slaw like love the marriage Huntsville. No,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: you just slaw. You aside, you just aside. You're not
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: an actual piece of chicken. See, he didn't get another
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: two piece at a biscuit. All he got was a
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: pint of cold slaw. You are the equivalent in a
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: two piece to a pint of cold slaw. And the
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: reason you don't get to be a dish all your
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: own is because he knows you are the dish of
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: another man. See you're married. Once you're willing to do that,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: and you're married, then we can reduce you even further.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: So now you don't get to be an extra piece
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: of chicken getting in the box. All you feel to
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: be is a bigger side order. See you the side
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: chick with no benefits. He gave you the cold, He
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: didn't give you a house. He ain't get helping you
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: with your rent, He ain't paying your carndo he letting
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: you use his extra house. You don't even get the
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: money for your own apartment. You are pint or cold slaw.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: That's the side you are. You ain't the beans and rice,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: You ain't none of that. You ain't mashed potatoes. That's
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: too thick you are at All you are is a
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: little more gravy or cold slaw. And if either one
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: of them ain't in the box, you still gonna eat
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: your chicken. Oh, let your church say, man ain't man?
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Man all right? Poster comments on today's Strawberry Letter and
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Steve Rve FM on Instagram and Facebook, and check out
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up at
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: forty six minutes after the hour in case you missed it.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Coming up next Steve's interview with Senator Rafael Warnock. Right
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: after this, go vote you're listening to show. We got
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: a special guest this morning. This man is in the
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: running for the Senator of the State of Georgia, and
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: since his election to US Senate back in twenty twenty one,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: our special guests has led the fight to expand access
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: to affordable healthcare and lawer the costs for hard working
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Georgia families. While serving all this time as the senior
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: pastor at the e. Benesia Baptist Church in Atlanta for
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: the past seventeen years. We've invited him to join us
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: today to stress the importance of voting in the mid
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: term election. He is our Democratic candidate for the US
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Senate and we want him to remain in that position,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: and the entire Steve Harvey Nation is on board with
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: this mission. Please welcome to the show, Senator Raphael or
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Not welcome. Welcome, sir, Welcome, Thank you so much, Good morning, everybody.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Great to be with Steve Harvey. Sir. It is our
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: honor to have you on the show. Congratulations are so
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: far and we got a lot of work to do
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: to make this thing happen, So let's get started. You
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: are leading the fight for all of us that live
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: here in Georgia in the US Senate to lower cost
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: and to protect and grow good paying jobs and stand
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: up for veterans and families. Let's talk about that for
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: a moment, sir. That's absolutely right. Thank you so much.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: It's great to be here and listen. Serving the people
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: of Georgia in the United States Senate is the high
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: honor of my life. That's a real special thing when
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: the people of the state say, you know, when we
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: think about our families and our children, when we think
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: about our grandmothers and our grandfathers and what they need,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: we want you to serve us. We want you to
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: represent us, and I'm honored to do it. Every single day.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: We pass first of all, the single largest tax cut
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: for middle and working class families in American history. It's
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: called the Expanded Child Tax Credit. We did that early
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: in my tenure in the Senate, and in recent months
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: we passed The Inflation Reduction Act, now signed into law
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: by the President, has two provisions that I wrote. One
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: caps the cost of insulin for folks who are on
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Medicare to no more than thirty five dollars or the
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: out of pocket costs per month. I was trying to
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: get it done for folks are on private insurance as well.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: But people and who work in the building that I
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: work in. Some of those politicians too, many of them
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: feel that they worked for the pharmaceutical companies. Well, I
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: work for the people of Georgia. I was able to
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: get this cap for folks on Medicare, on insulince and
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: if the people of Georgia send me back to the Senate.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I won't wrestle until we get an infulent cap for
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: everybody who needs it. Insulin shouldn't be expensive as a
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: one hundred year old drugs. I also wrote another provision
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: that caps the costs of prescription drugs for seniors who
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: are Medicare. And I'm very clear that our grandmothers and
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: grandfathers shouldn't have to choose between buying medicine that they
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: need and groceries that they need. The people of Georgia
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: hired me to stand up and fight for them, and
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: I'm committed to doing that every single day. Yeah, home,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: on one second, we'll be right back. We're talking to
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: us Senate candidate, Senator Raphael Warnuck, and we'll be right back.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: We're talking about a lot of things and the ways
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: he's helping Georgia families here. We'll be right back with
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: more from Senator Raphael Warnuck. You're listening a right, everybody.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: We're back in our special guests this morning is our
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: senator candidate and current Senator Raphael Warnuck. He's up for
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: reelection and we got some work to take care of us.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Nation We've already proven that we have the
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: power to change things through our vote, and we're gonna
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: make it even more obvious in this election. So this
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: morning we invited the Senator on We're talking about one thing,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: and one thing only, the importance of all of us
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: getting out to vote. Thank you so much. Listen, The
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: main message this morning is that we need you to vote.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: We need you to show up. Election Day is happening
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: right now in Georgia, and we need you to show up.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: And as you think about that, I want you to
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: consider the choice in front of you. I have already
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: written and passed the field the cap the cost of
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: insulin for folks who are on medicare to know more
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: than thirty five dollars about a pocket costs per month
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: that will be in place of this coming January. I
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: wrote another provision, the cap the cost of prescription drugs
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: for seniors. Now. When I raised these issues during the
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: debate on the insulin question, as I talked about the
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: need to cap the cost of insulin and that these
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: companies should not be price gauging a medicine that people need,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: especially in a state where a million people have diabetes,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: my opponent, you know what it's responsible. He said, people
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: just need to eat right. I don't know how it
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: is that he's running for centate and he doesn't know
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: that you can eat right and still have diabetes. That
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: it doesn't explain why they're gouging the price. If his
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: answer to the insulent crisis and price gouging is people
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: just need to eat right, maybe he should run the Dietitian.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: I'm running for the United States Center to repmmend the
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: people of Ordian. Come on. You know. Also, I like
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: to point out sometimes people take positions based on money,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: and if you supportive of big business, then you're not
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: gonna say nothing about big business. You've also fought really
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: really hard, sir, to protect and create jobs to Georgia.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: How did this come about? We passed the Jobs and
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Competition Bill a few months ago, and let me say
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: that we did that on a bipartisan basis. I'm listed
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: as the eighteenth most bipartisan senator in the Senate. I
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: work with anybody if it helps me to get something
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: done that's good for the people of Georgia, and I've
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: done it time and time again. This Jobs and Competition Bill,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: among other things, it invests in domestic manufacturing, keeping the
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: jobs right here in Georgia, right here in the United States.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: We have a plant right in West Point, Georgia that
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: had to shut down on multiple occasions, not because they
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: didn't have enough customers, but because they didn't have enough chips.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: We're waiting on chips to come from China that we
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: ought to be making right here in the United States.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: And so I led the fight in passing the Jobs
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: and Competition Bill to keep those jobs right here in Georgia.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: That same bill also invests in creating STEM jobs right
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: here in the country, and it invests in HBCUs, historically
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: black colleges and universities. I'm a proud Morehouse graduate. I
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: know that we have smart young people on these college campuses.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: HBCUs have been punching way above their weight for so long.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: They've been doing so much for so many people for
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: so very little that people expect them to do something
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: for nothing. I secured in the Jobs and Competition Bill
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: two point seven billion dollars with a D for HBCUs.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: I secured a total of six billion dollars in the
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: twenty months that I've been in the Senate. BACUS a
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: vote is a kind of prayer for the world we desire,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: for ourselves and for our children. It's time to put
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: our faith in our dreams into action. People gave too
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: much for us to sit home, and the foremost powerful
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: words and the democracy are the people have spoken, but
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: we need people to get out and vote. Don't weigh
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: the issues are too urgent, the stakes are too high.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: So tell everybody you know, Call your friends, call your
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: family members, call your church members, call the people who
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: owe you money, and tell them that it's the vote.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: We're gonna show up. Thank you, Hey, everybody our special
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: guest this morning, Democratic candidate for the US Senate, show
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: your love, get out and vote for Senator Raphael Warnock.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Thank you so much, sir. Thank you all Right, ladies
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: and gentlemen, you hurt it. Today is the day. Please
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: get out and vote. We'll have more of the Steve
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. It's coming. You know for lottery
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: winners to wear this guys when claiming their massive prizes.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: So you know why they do that, so that they
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: don't have to worry about people robbing them or trying
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: to extort them or anything. But that's not exactly why
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: one lottery winner in China did it. He was his name,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: He's just identified as A Lee. Just call him Lee,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: and I'm talking about l I Lee. Okay. The lottery
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: winner showed up to claim his prize dressed in a
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: costume so he wouldn't be recognized. This sounds like you,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Tommy by his own family. You do what you got
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: to do. Lee told reporters he didn't want his own
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: wife and children to know that he won about thirty
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: million dollars. His reason for it is not what you expect,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: though he wasn't planning to take the money and run
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: away from his family. He says he didn't want his
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: kids to feel superior to anyone else and not work.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: He adds that he didn't want them to become arrogant
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: or lazy. And while some people have applauded his decision,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: others think he's horrible for keeping his family in the dark.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: And then there's some who look at Lee from a
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: legal perspective and say he is violating martial law, which
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: considers all assets marital property. So here's the question, guys,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: would you tell your family if you won the lottery,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Would you show up in costume to collect your winning
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm going down there as met Steve Ye
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: coming up with thirty three minutes after, we'll play a
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: round of would you rather? Right after this you're listening
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: to show? All right, guys, it is time for a
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: round of would you rather out of the gate? Would
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: you rather be a moderator at a Republican debate? Or
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: would you rather moderate your family's holiday meal arguments? I
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: want to be at that debate so I can ask
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: real questions. Muh okay, m m Junior, Tommy, I don't know.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: I got some people in my family. I love him.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Go ahead and moderate that, because that's gonna be That's
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: gonna be way more fighting, way more. It's gonna be
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: a lot happen and kier. You know. We love your family. Yeah,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: all day long. I can't wait from mouth unity to
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: go in there and get another plate and he putting
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: in on this food. It's gonna be a fight, right then? Yeah,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: all right? Would you rather fight Mike Tyson once or
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: talk like him for the rest of your life? Talk
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: like you know? So if I fight him, I'm gonna
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: be talking like I might be talking less. I'm not fighting, Mike,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: so you're not all right? Would you rather be great
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: at sex and have a bad body, or would you
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: rather be bad at sex and have a great body.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: I'm already, but I'm cold with this trip with his
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: T shirt on? Now, I can't take this T shirt though?
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: All right? Come on, you know your next what you
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: got Steve great sex, bad body. I'm good right now.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I got bad boy. He never had no complaint ever
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: ever get here. You know a lot of stuff about
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: Steve harm You ain't heard of that though. You can
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: leave me for a lot of reasons. But it ain't
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: gonna be for that though. Attention, you know, loss of interests.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: You know, I don't know how to don't know how
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: to go home? All right? To be great at it,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: you got to get around a little bit, you know.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: You can't just can't just be in one place. You
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: know you ain't gonna get great at one spot, that's
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: for sure. Would you rather never be able to lie? Okay?
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Or that's never be able to tell when someone's lying
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: to you? Bet? I don't give a damn if you
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: lying to me? Ain't you lying it? In? But I've
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: got to be able to lie, you'll lie. I ain't
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: gonna I don't care what you're saying. I've got to
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: be I don't give a damn about you, Lyne. If
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I get lied to you all the time, they ain't
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: no problem. We're figuring out. Let me give you something
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: to figure out, sir. All right, that's today's rounded. Would
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: you rather coming up at forty nine minutes after the
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: hour on this election day? Hey? Oh, I can deal
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: without lining. It'll be our last break of the day,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: and we'll get some closing remarks from the one and
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Stry right after this. You hear him. You're listening show,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: all right, guys, it's election day. It's our last break
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: of the day. Yeah. Voting, yep. Voting is the most
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: important thing that we can do. Uh. And the rights
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: that we have in this country, listen, man, it's because
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: of the lack of voting that the other rights are
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: in jeopardy. The right for a woman to choose life
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: what she wants to do with her body, the right
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: to decide who can carry a firearm in this country
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: and not, the right to vote for all citizens, the
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: right to travel free from country to country, the right
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: we've been dealing with this since we got here. The rights,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: the rights, the policies that's in place that have been
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: so restrictive of us. We need somebody that cares about
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: the people, somebody who's willing to put some laws in
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: place for the lawlessness that we have in this country,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: both outside and inside the police department. We need most
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: stuff done about the laws of the crimes as being committed.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: I'm all for that, but we also need some laws
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: to protect people when they are pulled over by the police.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: I don't know why people think just because a person
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: is a police officer that they're capable of making quality decisions.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: That's not how this works. And they bring some of
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: these prejudice. They bring all of their prejudice to work
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: every day, and we see it turned out in all
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: types of ways. In Georgia, we've bought We watched Governor
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Kemp who has access to six billion dollars that's sitting there.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: He could have saved the Atlanta Medical Center. We need
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: another trauma center down here in Atlanta, but it's in
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: the hood. So why save it because saving the trauma
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: center would be saving lives. Well, y'all wouldn't have so
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: much crime. Well, if we had some gun laws. Hello,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: if we have some gun laws, we wouldn't need to
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: have two trauma centers. I know some parts of the
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: world that ain't got no trauma centers at their hospitals
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: because they got gun laws. But the reason we don't
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: have gun laws is because the NR is a number
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: one lobbyists in politics today and they control all the politicians.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Voting is essentially y'all. We've got to get to the votes.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: Voting polls today, brothers. I'm asking you, if you haven't
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: early voted, brothers, please get out and vote. I'm asking
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: everybody that hasn't voted today to get out and vote.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: In Georgia, Stacy Abrams in Georgia, Raphael Warnaker in Philly,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: in Detroit, in Milwaukee, in the Carolinas, in Texas, in Mississippi,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: that are everywhere. People need your support. In California, man,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: they running in some problems. See here's a sad part
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: because of Joe Biden's ratings. They got people thinking if
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: they vote rep Publican that that'll straighten it out. Man.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: I don't know how they did it. Well, I know
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: how they did it. The Republicans, the right, the Conservatives
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: are masters at deception and delusion they got everyday people
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: thinking they talking to them when they not. You know,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: when they talk about small businesses, that definition of a
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: small business is not your mom and pop store, your
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: T shirt stand, your chaosts in the middle of the mall.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: If you look up small business, the definition of a
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: small business at the Small Business Administration in the United States,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: look it up. You have to make a lot of
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: money to be considered a small business, a mid term
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: cap business, and a large business. It's a totally different number.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: They ain't even talking about you. We got to vote, y'all.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Today is a big day. Today is a big day.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Let's vote. If you're in Georgia, go to Stacy Abrams
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: dot com sash vote Stacy Abrams dot com slash vote
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: and get your precinct. Margie and I went to the
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: wrong precinct last year, so they gave us a provisional
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: ballot that we filled out because we had moved and
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: they had done something blah blah blah blah blah, and
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: we got a provisional ballot that was seven thousand provisional
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: ballots done in the state of Georgia last year. Where
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: last election, well Kemp has come along and transcended a
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: law that there are no more provisional ballots, no more.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: The bulk of those provisional ballots was in places and
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: communities we live in because they shifted the polling stations
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: for confusion and voting suppression. But you could get a
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: provisional ballot. Now they switched the polling stations again and
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: created a law where you don't get a provisional ballot.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: Seven thousand people would have been denied the right to vote.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: Last year, Donald Trump was only looking for eleven thousand
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: votes so he could still be president. You see how
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: slick they are, and the slickest move of all moves
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: they don't win and got herschel Walker, who got about
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: as much business and politics as I got flying the airplane,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: This ridiculous human being that they haven't propped up and
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: called him a black candidate. Man. Please, ain't nobody going
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: for that. We're getting to the polls today, y'all. Today's
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: voting day. Let's be serious about it. It's our obligation.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Stand in line, sit there, take your water, take a snack,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: take a fold away chair, take a pop up stool.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: Get yourself comfortable. Do not be denied and make sure
