- 0:00Speaker 1: Joe Biden now saying he wants to come after guns
- 0:04Speaker 1: in a lame duck session. There's a very short there's
- 0:09Speaker 1: a very short lame duck session that's going to happen
- 0:12Speaker 1: between now and when the new Congress is sworn in,
- 0:16Speaker 1: and the President of the United States America has come
- 0:19Speaker 1: out and said that he wants there to be gun control.
- 0:24Speaker 1: A lot of people kind of shocked by this, and
- 0:27Speaker 1: I get it. I understand why you should be shocked
- 0:32Speaker 1: by this. Where did this come from, Why is it
- 0:35Speaker 1: happening now? This is all after the shooting in Colorado.
- 0:41Speaker 1: He randomly came out and said, I want to ban
- 0:45Speaker 1: not just quote assault weapons, I want to ban all
- 0:49Speaker 1: semi automatic weapons. Now, for people that don't understand semi
- 0:54Speaker 1: automatic weapons, I'll explain it to you in a moment,
- 0:56Speaker 1: but first I want you to hear what Joe Biden
- 0:58Speaker 1: had to say railing against all semi automatic weapons, saying
- 1:01Speaker 1: we should ban them all. The idea we still allow
- 1:06Speaker 1: semi automatic weapons to be purchased is sick. It's sick.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It has no no sociality value, zero none, Not a
- 1:16Speaker 1: single solitary rational afford and sub profit from the gun
- 1:19Speaker 1: manufacturer can you do anything about gun laws during the
- 1:21Speaker 1: lame doctor, I'm gonna try. I'm gonna try to get
- 1:25Speaker 1: rid of a saultway. He's gonna try to get rid
- 1:29Speaker 1: of asault weapons in a lame duck session. Now, this
- 1:32Speaker 1: was out of nowhere. The President stopped at this local
- 1:35Speaker 1: firehouse I think first responders there, and it was there
- 1:38Speaker 1: that he spoke with reporters for the first time on
- 1:41Speaker 1: camera following the devastating shooting at that walmart and Virginia. Now,
- 1:46Speaker 1: as you know, that was a manager there that decided
- 1:49Speaker 1: to take out some of his employees in the break room,
- 1:52Speaker 1: not people shopping, and immediately he said those comments. Now,
- 2:00Speaker 1: no one had this on their radar screen, so you
- 2:02Speaker 1: understand this was not something that was there. Okay, everybody,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I think was kind of caught off guard by this
- 2:10Speaker 1: because there was no telegraphing for the White House that
- 2:13Speaker 1: this was going to actually be something that they were
- 2:15Speaker 1: going to do. And here we are He's saying, all
- 2:19Speaker 1: semi automatic weapons, should you be taken away from you?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Let's talk about that number one. If you remember, the
- 2:28Speaker 1: handgun that was bought by Hunter Biden and loss by
- 2:30Speaker 1: his ex sister in law turned lover who threw it
- 2:34Speaker 1: in a trash canon, Delaware, which is part of the
- 2:38Speaker 1: investigation into Hunter Biden. That gun was a semi automatic handgun. Now,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna explain semi automatic for you as simply as
- 2:48Speaker 1: I can, and if you know what this is, just
- 2:51Speaker 1: hang with me for a second, okay, because I want
- 2:52Speaker 1: people to understand how little the Democrats understand about firearms.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Joe Biden, I have no doubt owns a semi automatic weapon.
- 3:02Speaker 1: His son certainly does. Semi automatic weapon is a gun
- 3:06Speaker 1: where you pull the trigger and each time you pull
- 3:09Speaker 1: the trigger, there is a bullet that comes out of
- 3:12Speaker 1: that gun. Right for the action, there is a reaction. Okay. Now,
- 3:19Speaker 1: that is a semi automatic weapon. The most simplistic way
- 3:22Speaker 1: I can describe it to you, an automatic weapon a
- 3:27Speaker 1: weapon of war? Right is they try to describe it
- 3:30Speaker 1: all the time and turn every gun into a scary
- 3:32Speaker 1: weapon of war. That's their favorite line that they use.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Is a machine gun a fully automatic weapon. What is that?
- 3:41Speaker 1: That's when you pull the trigger one time and bullet
- 3:45Speaker 1: after bullet after bullet continues to come out of the firearm.
- 3:49Speaker 1: That's what you see in a lot of the movies
- 3:51Speaker 1: right where they just hold down the trigger. It's rambo style.
- 3:54Speaker 1: That's what a fully automatic weapon is. There is a
- 3:58Speaker 1: big difference. One you have to pull the trigger continuously,
- 4:01Speaker 1: the other you just have to pull the trigger and
- 4:02Speaker 1: hold it down. There's a big difference. Okay, I'll say
- 4:06Speaker 1: it again. There is a big difference. This president, i'm sure,
- 4:10Speaker 1: not only owns semi automatic weapons but has hunted with
- 4:13Speaker 1: semi automatic weapons. The majority of shotguns and the majority
- 4:16Speaker 1: of handguns that are sold are semi automatic. There are
- 4:21Speaker 1: shotguns that are over unders that are two different for example,
- 4:25Speaker 1: triggers on the gun. That's more of a classic family
- 4:29Speaker 1: heirloom esque type gun. Okay, that's real, just so you know,
- 4:35Speaker 1: but that's not what the majority of them sold today.
- 4:37Speaker 1: There are some pump action shotguns. You have to pump
- 4:40Speaker 1: the slide and pull it down and back up. You
- 4:43Speaker 1: hear the you know, the racking of the shell. That
- 4:46Speaker 1: is a semi automatic or that is a pump action shotgun.
- 4:50Speaker 1: The majority of shotguns solder not that they're semi automatic.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Where you put three or four or five depending on
- 4:55Speaker 1: if you have a plug in the in the shotgun
- 4:57Speaker 1: into and then you chamber one and then when the
- 5:01Speaker 1: gun shoots, it loads the next bullet. The majority of
- 5:04Speaker 1: handguns that are sold every day in this country are
- 5:07Speaker 1: semi automatic. There's a reason why he said he wants
- 5:10Speaker 1: to ban semi automatic weapons. It's because he wants to
- 5:13Speaker 1: ban the majority of handguns that are out there. I
- 5:16Speaker 1: don't know a single police department in the US that carries,
- 5:19Speaker 1: for example, a revolver. Now, okay, revolvers are not quote
- 5:25Speaker 1: semi automatic. Every law enforcement officer I know carries a
- 5:28Speaker 1: semi automatic. Every person that I actually know that carries
- 5:32Speaker 1: a firearm now carries a semi automatic handgun. They are
- 5:37Speaker 1: not want to be clear weapons of war. Any gun
- 5:40Speaker 1: can yes be used for bad things. It doesn't mean
- 5:42Speaker 1: they're a weapon of war. Cars, by the way, can
- 5:46Speaker 1: be used as a bad thing when people use them
- 5:48Speaker 1: to run over people. Right, Virtually everything, a baseball bat,
- 5:52Speaker 1: a knife that you cut and prepare food with can
- 5:56Speaker 1: be used for stabbings. Almost everything. Chemicals can be used
- 6:00Speaker 1: for bad things, even though the majority of them are
- 6:02Speaker 1: used for good things. You get my point. But what
- 6:04Speaker 1: the president is now advocating for is not getting rid
- 6:07Speaker 1: of what they used to refer to as assault weapons. Right,
- 6:11Speaker 1: They were obsessed with. They are fifteens now. They just
- 6:13Speaker 1: want to get rid of every single semi automatic weapon,
- 6:16Speaker 1: which goes back to the slippery slope that I and
- 6:19Speaker 1: so many others have warned you about. This is the administration,
- 6:22Speaker 1: this is what they want to do. The President says
- 6:25Speaker 1: it is a you know, and listen to his rhetoric
- 6:28Speaker 1: right about semi automatics. He can't believe that you, as
- 6:31Speaker 1: a human being, would ever even want to own this.
- 6:33Speaker 1: The idea we still allow semi automatic weapons to be
- 6:38Speaker 1: purchased is sick. It's just sick. It has no social
- 6:43Speaker 1: redeman value, zero none, not a single solitary rationale for it.
- 6:48Speaker 1: It's a profit from the gard manufactur It's sick. Well,
- 6:52Speaker 1: to be clear, if I didn't have that semi automatic
- 6:54Speaker 1: weapon that I had on the night of the shooting
- 6:56Speaker 1: that I was involved in, I wouldn't be alive. So
- 6:59Speaker 1: the idea that he describes as that is sick. It
- 7:01Speaker 1: is sick. There's no redeeming factor there is. I'm alive
- 7:04Speaker 1: because of that redeeming factor. Countless Americans have protected and
- 7:08Speaker 1: defended themselves with semi automatic weapons that are that are
- 7:13Speaker 1: vitally important for the safety and the security of their families,
- 7:16Speaker 1: their businesses. Countless men and women in law enforcement have
- 7:19Speaker 1: saved their own lives and the lives of others with
- 7:21Speaker 1: semi automatic handguns instead of having to carry a revolver,
- 7:25Speaker 1: for example. And he is now saying, and this is
- 7:28Speaker 1: the official, i think line of the Democratic Party. They
- 7:33Speaker 1: are now saying that this is what they believe is important. Okay,
- 7:38Speaker 1: this is what they believe they need to be doing
- 7:43Speaker 1: to take away our power and to put it back
- 7:46Speaker 1: on us. Now, understand, this is about power for them.
- 7:50Speaker 1: This is about making sure that they disarm America's public.
- 7:58Speaker 1: That's what this is really all about. If you can
- 8:03Speaker 1: dismantle our right to protect and defend ourselves, you win
- 8:09Speaker 1: automatically if you are a government that has the weapons.
- 8:13Speaker 1: If you don't believe me, look at the lockdowns in
- 8:15Speaker 1: China right now. Sprang using drones some sort of chemical
- 8:20Speaker 1: on the streets in China right now. Many believe it's
- 8:24Speaker 1: to keep people inside in the lockdowns. You've seen the
- 8:27Speaker 1: beating and the taking away and the dragging away of
- 8:31Speaker 1: people in China. Over the last twenty four hours. Some
- 8:33Speaker 1: of this video has broken out. It's incredible, it's shocking.
- 8:38Speaker 1: But the people they are ripping down fences, then being
- 8:40Speaker 1: beaten and also disappearing, okay, because their government is dragging
- 8:48Speaker 1: them away. They can't defend themselves. The lockdowns are continuing
- 8:51Speaker 1: in China. People are committing suicide. They were welding doors
- 8:56Speaker 1: shut to apartment complexes. If there's a fire, I don't
- 8:58Speaker 1: know how you get out. They don't care. If you
- 9:01Speaker 1: don't have enough, I guess food. You're screwed in your
- 9:06Speaker 1: house until they unweld your doors. They're doing this in China.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Can you imagine living in a home or a building
- 9:13Speaker 1: where they take your door and they well, that shuts
- 9:15Speaker 1: to you physically cannot leave and there's nothing you can
- 9:18Speaker 1: do to stop these psychos. That's happening in China right
- 9:22Speaker 1: now because they don't have the right to protect and
- 9:24Speaker 1: defend themselves. The idea we still allow semi automatic weapons
- 9:30Speaker 1: to be purchased is sick, so sick. It has no
- 9:35Speaker 1: social of dem value to zero none, not a single
- 9:39Speaker 1: solitary rationale for it, and sub profit for the gun manufacturer.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Can you do anything about gun laws during the lame doctor,
- 9:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna try. I'm gonna try to get rid of
- 9:48Speaker 1: a salt one. He's gonna try to get rid of
- 9:51Speaker 1: assault weapons, which apparently now mean that we are going
- 9:54Speaker 1: to get rid of all semi automatic weapons. That's the plan, now,
- 10:01Speaker 1: get rid of all of them. Other Democrats, caught off
- 10:05Speaker 1: guard by this, are now trying to figure out what
- 10:08Speaker 1: this means and can he get something done in a
- 10:11Speaker 1: lame de accession. There certainly is a chance of that.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Do I think it can get through the Senate? I
- 10:19Speaker 1: do not, And I think this is one of those
- 10:21Speaker 1: moments where you know, for so long Republicans, conservatives, advocates
- 10:26Speaker 1: for the Second Amendment, we have said over and over
- 10:29Speaker 1: and over again, be weary of the slippery slope. This
- 10:33Speaker 1: is it in real life, right, and he has now
- 10:36Speaker 1: said we want a ban. And this is the president
- 10:39Speaker 1: of United States of America, who was elected by half
- 10:42Speaker 1: the country, who is saying that he believes that we
- 10:46Speaker 1: need to get rid of all semi automatic weapons. There's
- 10:49Speaker 1: not a redeeming factor about it. Doesn't matter whose life
- 10:52Speaker 1: has been saved, doesn't matter what has happened. He believes
- 10:57Speaker 1: that these guns are weapons of war. And even his
- 11:01Speaker 1: own son apparently is one of the worst people in
- 11:03Speaker 1: the world. Right And I'm sure he's like, well, my
- 11:05Speaker 1: son can have one. That's different because the gun that's
- 11:08Speaker 1: being investigated, the gun purchases being investigated, was in fact
- 11:11Speaker 1: very semi automatic handgun. But when they make you weak,
- 11:15Speaker 1: this is what we see. You look at what's happening
- 11:17Speaker 1: in China right now. There are lockdowns happening in China
- 11:21Speaker 1: where they are actually wilding that they're welding shut the
- 11:25Speaker 1: doors of apartment complexes. We are seeing in China right
- 11:30Speaker 1: now where people are protesting the lockdowns, and we are
- 11:38Speaker 1: seeing some of the videos come out of this, these
- 11:42Speaker 1: rare protests. And I'm gonna give you, for example, the
- 11:45Speaker 1: CNN perspective on this, okay, because they've got somebody in
- 11:49Speaker 1: Beijing right now that that's actually getting to report on this,
- 11:53Speaker 1: and this is I think a really important point. They're
- 11:57Speaker 1: even talking about this from Shanghai to Beijing. Protests have
- 12:01Speaker 1: erupted across China, and there has not been one comment,
- 12:04Speaker 1: by the way from this White House on this, not one,
- 12:08Speaker 1: not one one scene the reporter was able to make
- 12:11Speaker 1: her way in. She's at the zero you know, there's
- 12:15Speaker 1: this reporters at the side of the protests against these
- 12:17Speaker 1: zero COVID policy. So when anybody gets COVID in China,
- 12:20Speaker 1: they just locked down your community where you live. They're
- 12:23Speaker 1: still living in extreme lockdowns, and this is part of
- 12:25Speaker 1: what happens when you can't defend yourself and you can't
- 12:28Speaker 1: stand up to the government. Take a listen in the
- 12:31Speaker 1: middle of the protests that's happening in Beijing. It's just
- 12:33Speaker 1: past one am. There's a crowd of mostly young people
- 12:36Speaker 1: that have gathered here to protest the COVID measures in China,
- 12:39Speaker 1: and they've been chanting no to COVID tests, yes to freedom.
- 12:43Speaker 1: And this is happening in Tallong District. This is where
- 12:46Speaker 1: the center of the COVID outbreak is in Beijing, where
- 12:49Speaker 1: they've urged all residents to stay at home. So it's
- 12:51Speaker 1: really unprecedented that we're seeing such a large crowd of
- 12:55Speaker 1: people here. A lot of the folks as well. You
- 12:57Speaker 1: can see they're holding these white pieces of paper. This
- 13:01Speaker 1: is a symbol of anti censorship. And we also saw
- 13:05Speaker 1: protests in Shanghai. We saw protesters also hold those white
- 13:08Speaker 1: pieces of paper. Now in this district as well. Around here,
- 13:12Speaker 1: there are many foreign embassies, including the American embassy over there,
- 13:15Speaker 1: so notable that they chose this site for this protest. Now,
- 13:18Speaker 1: this protest has been going on already for several hours.
- 13:21Speaker 1: It's very late and you can see the policemen right
- 13:24Speaker 1: now is telling me to move back a little bit.
- 13:26Speaker 1: But there is a large police presence. They are actually
- 13:28Speaker 1: on this whole roll of whole roll of policemen. But
- 13:31Speaker 1: it is a peaceful protest so far. You could hear
- 13:34Speaker 1: the cheering, the chanting. Cars are also driving by frequently,
- 13:38Speaker 1: they're honking and solidarity. The folks here don't look like
- 13:42Speaker 1: they're going anywhere anytime soon. Now. This is happening all
- 13:47Speaker 1: over the country now, and I think that's probably the
- 13:50Speaker 1: coolest part of this. The numbers are swelling demonstrations and
- 13:54Speaker 1: multiple major cities over the weekend they've come out to
- 13:58Speaker 1: basically say enough. They're calling for greater democracy and freedom.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Among the thousands of protesters, hundreds have even called for
- 14:05Speaker 1: the removal of the Chinese leaders Ye who for nearly
- 14:08Speaker 1: three years has overseen the strategy of mass testing, brute
- 14:12Speaker 1: force lockdowns, in force quarantine, and also digital tracking that
- 14:19Speaker 1: has come at a devastating human and economic cost. The
- 14:22Speaker 1: protests were triggered by a deadly blaze. They are killed
- 14:26Speaker 1: at least ten people to injure nine an apartment building,
- 14:28Speaker 1: leading to public fury after videos the incident appeared to
- 14:31Speaker 1: show lockdown measures had delayed firefighters from reaching the victims.
- 14:36Speaker 1: So far, there have been demonstrations in at least sixteen
- 14:40Speaker 1: major locations nationwide in China, including two of China's bigg
- 14:44Speaker 1: as cities, the capital Beijing, when the Financial Center Shanghai.
- 14:50Speaker 1: In Shanghai over the weekend, hundreds and hundreds gathered for
- 14:53Speaker 1: a cannobite vigil and to mourn the victims. There, many
- 14:58Speaker 1: held up blank sheets of white paper were a symbolic
- 15:00Speaker 1: protest against censorship and enchanted need human rights, need freedom.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Some also shouted for the president, the dictator, the leader
- 15:10Speaker 1: g to step down he won't, and saying the International
- 15:14Speaker 1: Socialist anthem used as a call to action and demonstrations
- 15:17Speaker 1: worldwide for more than a century. It was also used
- 15:22Speaker 1: during pro democracy protests and DMin Square in Beijing before
- 15:28Speaker 1: brutal cracked down by armed troops in nineteen eighty nine.
- 15:32Speaker 1: China's zero COVID policies have been felt particularly brutal in Shanghai,
- 15:38Speaker 1: where a two month long lockdown earlier this year left
- 15:40Speaker 1: many without access to food, medical care, other basic supplies,
- 15:44Speaker 1: sewing deep public resentment. By Sunday evening, mass demonstrations that
- 15:49Speaker 1: spread in Beijing as well and in Wuhan, where thousands
- 15:53Speaker 1: of residents called for not only an end to COVID restrictions,
- 15:55Speaker 1: but more remarkably political freedoms. Residents in some lockdownighborhoods tore
- 16:00Speaker 1: down barriers and locke and took to the streets. Protests
- 16:04Speaker 1: also took place on campuses, including the prestigious institution at
- 16:08Speaker 1: the University in Beijing as well as the Communication University
- 16:12Speaker 1: of China. In fact, in recent days, vigils and demonstrations
- 16:17Speaker 1: and solidarity with those on the mainland have also been
- 16:21Speaker 1: held elsewhere around the world, including London and Sydney. Now,
- 16:25Speaker 1: to put it in perspective so you understand what's happening,
- 16:29Speaker 1: they have actually put up fences in between neighborhoods, So
- 16:36Speaker 1: imagine the Berlin Wall in essence between your neighborhood and
- 16:42Speaker 1: an artificial barrier between the next neighborhood. These zero COVID
- 16:49Speaker 1: policies have allowed for people to die who needed medical
- 16:52Speaker 1: care because they weren't able to leave their house to
- 16:54Speaker 1: get the medical care they needed. Some people have been
- 16:59Speaker 1: able to get their videos out saying they're literally starving
- 17:02Speaker 1: in their homes. Now there have been apartment complexes, for example,
- 17:07Speaker 1: that have been protesting. The government actually came in and
- 17:12Speaker 1: welded shut the exit doors of them, putting them in
- 17:17Speaker 1: what is no different that a prison at that point.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Now this is significant and the White House has been
- 17:23Speaker 1: silent on this, which also tells you. I think how
- 17:26Speaker 1: compromised Joe Biden is by the China because of the
- 17:29Speaker 1: deals that he and his son have done on oil
- 17:32Speaker 1: and energy in China. They clearly can blackmail him. Public
- 17:36Speaker 1: protests are rare in China. Why because the Communist Party
- 17:40Speaker 1: has tightened its grip on all aspects of life there.
- 17:42Speaker 1: They've launched a sweeping crackdown on dissidents. They've wiped out
- 17:46Speaker 1: much of civil society and built a high tech surveillance state.
- 17:49Speaker 1: The mass surveillance system is even more stringent in other cities,
- 17:52Speaker 1: where the Chinese government is accused of detaining up to
- 17:55Speaker 1: two million individuals and other ethnic minorities, and camps where
- 18:00Speaker 1: former dtinees have alleged they were physically and sexually abused
- 18:05Speaker 1: a damning United Nations reported September to describe the regions
- 18:08Speaker 1: invasive surveillance network, with police databases containing hundreds of thousands
- 18:12Speaker 1: of files with biometric data such as facial and eyeball scans. China,
- 18:18Speaker 1: of course, denies accusations of human rights abuses in the region. Now.
- 18:22Speaker 1: While protests do occur in China, they rarely happen on
- 18:25Speaker 1: this scale, nor take such direct aim at the central
- 18:27Speaker 1: government in the nation's leader. This is a different type
- 18:31Speaker 1: of protests and the more localized protests we've seen reoccurring
- 18:34Speaker 1: over the past two decades that tend to focus their
- 18:37Speaker 1: claims on demands on local officials and on very targeted
- 18:40Speaker 1: societal and economic issues. One university professor said, they said
- 18:44Speaker 1: and said. This time the protests have expanded to include
- 18:46Speaker 1: the sharper expression of political grievance alongside with concerns about
- 18:51Speaker 1: COVID nineteen lockdowns, there have been growing signs in recent
- 18:56Speaker 1: months that the public has run out of patients with
- 18:58Speaker 1: the zero COVID policy after nearly three years of economic
- 19:01Speaker 1: hardship and disruption of daily life. Isolated pockets of protests
- 19:06Speaker 1: broke out in October with the anti zero COVID slogans
- 19:10Speaker 1: appearing on the walls of public bathrooms and in various
- 19:12Speaker 1: Chinese cities inspired by banner hung by a loan protests
- 19:16Speaker 1: or on an overpass in Beijing just before days before
- 19:20Speaker 1: Ye submitted a third term in power. Earlier in November,
- 19:24Speaker 1: large protests took place as residents to five lockdown orders
- 19:28Speaker 1: to topple barriers and cheered as they took to the streets. There. Now,
- 19:32Speaker 1: the good news is, at least some of the videos
- 19:35Speaker 1: are eight. We're now able to see them, and that's
- 19:37Speaker 1: inspiring others as they are able to get these videos
- 19:41Speaker 1: out of China to the rest of the world. That's
- 19:44Speaker 1: inspiring people in China to continue to move forward. Is
- 19:49Speaker 1: it going to be enough for them to have something significant?
- 19:53Speaker 1: Who knows? China doesn't screw around with protesters. They'll kill you,
- 19:58Speaker 1: They'll imprison you, will destroy you and your family. Hell,
- 20:01Speaker 1: they'll even well willed the doors shut on your apartment
- 20:04Speaker 1: building just to keep you inside. They'll spray chemicals from
- 20:09Speaker 1: from above using drones. So don't forget that, Okay, I
- 20:14Speaker 1: mean this. This is the reality of the situation. Okay,
- 20:17Speaker 1: that's that's the reality. It's incredible. Chuck Schumer is now
- 20:21Speaker 1: saying that it's time to give amnesty for a million
- 20:24Speaker 1: of illegal aliens, who he says are eligible and enrolled
- 20:28Speaker 1: in DOCA. Why, he says, necessary because we have a
- 20:31Speaker 1: spike we have a lack of US population, even though
- 20:34Speaker 1: new numbers have just come out and the United States
- 20:37Speaker 1: population is a new record thirty three point or excuse me,
- 20:40Speaker 1: three hundred and thirty one point nine million people reside
- 20:43Speaker 1: in the US. During a press conference this month, however,
- 20:48Speaker 1: Chuck Schumer came out made it very clear what he
- 20:50Speaker 1: thought right. He said during this press conference, we got
- 20:54Speaker 1: to do something right. We urge ten Republican Senators to
- 20:59Speaker 1: back and anty for the three point three million illegal
- 21:03Speaker 1: aliens enrolled and eligible for Obama's DOCTA program. So it's
- 21:07Speaker 1: time to provide them a green cards to remain permanently
- 21:10Speaker 1: in the US and eventually gained citizenship. He also said
- 21:14Speaker 1: it's time to give out amnacy to all illegal immigrants
- 21:16Speaker 1: in this country at the same time. As part of
- 21:18Speaker 1: that plea, he said amnesty for millions of illegal aliens
- 21:21Speaker 1: is necessary to drive up to quote, the US population
- 21:24Speaker 1: and low birth rates among Americans. We have a population
- 21:29Speaker 1: that is not reproducing on its own at the same
- 21:32Speaker 1: level that used to. Schumer said the only way we're
- 21:34Speaker 1: going to have a great future in America is if
- 21:37Speaker 1: we welcome and embrace migrants of Dreamers and all of them,
- 21:40Speaker 1: meaning every illegal immigrant. Schumer also said the Democrats ultimate
- 21:45Speaker 1: goal is to provide amnesty to all eleven to twenty
- 21:50Speaker 1: two million illegal aliens living in the US. The suggestion
- 21:55Speaker 1: comes as the US population has in fact increase to
- 21:58Speaker 1: its highest total in history, hitting three hundred thirty one million,
- 22:03Speaker 1: eight hundred ninety six thousand, seven hundred forty five residents
- 22:06Speaker 1: in twenty twenty one, driven mostly by the way by
- 22:10Speaker 1: legal immigration, not illegal but legal immigration. For comparison, the
- 22:16Speaker 1: population nineteen seventies stood at two hundred and three million
- 22:19Speaker 1: residents in the US. Now we're at three thirty one
- 22:22Speaker 1: compared to nineteen seventy. At current legal immigration levels whereby
- 22:28Speaker 1: more than a million four nationals are given green cards annually,
- 22:33Speaker 1: the nation's foreign born populations expected to hit seventy million
- 22:37Speaker 1: by twenty sixty. In nineteen seventy, the foreign born population
- 22:43Speaker 1: were fewer than ten million in this country. Likewise, Shumers
- 22:47Speaker 1: claim that an amnesty for illegal aliens would boost low
- 22:50Speaker 1: birth rates among Americans is unlikely, by the way, as
- 22:53Speaker 1: fertility rates among foreign born Americans has dropped more rapidly
- 22:57Speaker 1: than fertility rates among native born Americans. The total fertility
- 23:01Speaker 1: rate for all women, immigration and native born in America
- 23:05Speaker 1: in twenty nineteen was one point seven six. Excluding immigrants,
- 23:11Speaker 1: it would be one point six nine the rate for natives.
- 23:14Speaker 1: The difference is point zero six children, or a four
- 23:19Speaker 1: percent increase in the overall total fertility rate in the
- 23:22Speaker 1: United States of America. That's what the Center for Immigration
- 23:26Speaker 1: Studies research shows, suggesting more immigration would have a minimal
- 23:30Speaker 1: impact on the nation's quote low birth rate. Now unamended
- 23:36Speaker 1: by Democrats as well as many Republican lawmakers, they are
- 23:39Speaker 1: crafting a national family agenda that would help boost American
- 23:42Speaker 1: birth rates. Right. No, they're not doing that at all,
- 23:46Speaker 1: not doing that at all. They're telling everybody get across
- 23:49Speaker 1: the border as quick as you possibly can, because if
- 23:51Speaker 1: you don't, we're screwed. Like, hurry up, get across the
- 23:55Speaker 1: border now as fast as you can. Hurry up, we
- 24:00Speaker 1: might give you amnesty. This is why you're seeing tents
- 24:04Speaker 1: and tens of thousands who are now camping out on
- 24:07Speaker 1: the other side of the border right now. And the
- 24:09Speaker 1: reason why they're doing is because they're just waiting for
- 24:13Speaker 1: that Title forty three to expire, and once that expires,
- 24:17Speaker 1: are going to come rushing across the border because they
- 24:19Speaker 1: believe that they're about to get amnesty and not just amnasty,
- 24:22Speaker 1: they're going to get the American dream, like they're going
- 24:24Speaker 1: to get a green car that turns into citizenship in
- 24:30Speaker 1: the United States American I once you get here, we
- 24:32Speaker 1: give you everything Americans get anyway, it's also truly just shocking,
- 24:36Speaker 1: and I guess you could say amazing to me, right,
- 24:38Speaker 1: I mean, that's that's something that we see instantly now,
- 24:41Speaker 1: which is just I have a hard time with this one, right,
- 24:46Speaker 1: I really do. I have a very hard time with this.
- 24:49Speaker 1: It is incredibly frustrating that we take care of illegal
- 24:53Speaker 1: immigrants better than we take care of our American veterans.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Look at how many homeless veterans we have in this country.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Look at how many veterans we have that we don't
- 25:02Speaker 1: take care of in this country, and it's really frustrating,
- 25:07Speaker 1: it's really shocking. Now, before I continue on this, I
- 25:10Speaker 1: gotta tell you about our good friends over at legacy
- 25:12Speaker 1: precious metals. With the economy really an inflation out of
- 25:16Speaker 1: control in the stock market taking horrific losses, the NASDAC
- 25:20Speaker 1: down more in one month than we've seen back in
- 25:23Speaker 1: two thousand and eight was the last time it was
- 25:25Speaker 1: this bad. You may be looking at your financial portfolio
- 25:29Speaker 1: and you're sick to your stomach. You're not alone. The
- 25:31Speaker 1: question is if you are not diversified in precious metals
- 25:36Speaker 1: as part of your financial portfolio, then what would it
- 25:39Speaker 1: look like now? Maybe if you would have been, it's
- 25:42Speaker 1: not too late, by the way, to take advantage of
- 25:44Speaker 1: gold and silver. It is a hedge against inflation, and
- 25:47Speaker 1: it's a way for you to diversify your IRA, your
- 25:50Speaker 1: four oh one K, your investment portfolio. If you've never
- 25:53Speaker 1: looked at gold and silver, there's actually no better time
- 25:56Speaker 1: than right now now. I've been investing golden silver for gosh,
- 25:59Speaker 1: almost twenty years. I've used it as a percentage of
- 26:03Speaker 1: my strategy to protect myself. So on the worst days
- 26:06Speaker 1: on Wall Street usually they're not as bad for me
- 26:08Speaker 1: as they are for others. Call Legacy Precious Medals and

- 26:47Speaker 1: and many people miss this during the holidays is part
- 26:51Speaker 1: I'm not gonna play all, but I'm gonna play you
- 26:52Speaker 1: a good a chunk Here of Chuck Schumer saying we're
- 26:56Speaker 1: not gonna stop fighting until we get a pathway to
- 26:58Speaker 1: citizenship for all under documented workers. Undocumented means illegal immigrants. Okay.
- 27:03Speaker 1: So that's just their code word for acting like they're
- 27:06Speaker 1: saying saying they're not that just no, that's it. It's
- 27:09Speaker 1: one hundred percent code word, okay, for illegal immigrants. Here's
- 27:13Speaker 1: Chuck Schumer in his own words. So we also fought
- 27:17Speaker 1: repeatedly to pass legislation that would protect dreamers, and it
- 27:21Speaker 1: was a key piece of our original legislative agenda. In fact,
- 27:26Speaker 1: my office was intimately involved in pushing for a change
- 27:29Speaker 1: in the Registry Jade that would once and for all
- 27:32Speaker 1: provide some sense of security to Dreamers and their families.
- 27:36Speaker 1: And while we've encountered roadblocks along the way to get
- 27:38Speaker 1: this done, we've never stopped fighting for immigrant relief. Senator Durban,
- 27:45Speaker 1: Senator Cortez, Masto, Senator Padeen, the others I mentioned, Senor Menendez,
- 27:49Speaker 1: Senter Ben Ray Luhan, and just about every person in
- 27:52Speaker 1: our caucus believes in this strongly. Unfortunately, getting a fixed
- 27:57Speaker 1: to DOCCA in the Senate remains taught tied to our
- 28:00Speaker 1: ability to secure the sixty votes. We put proposals fourth
- 28:04Speaker 1: time and time again. But the elections now over, so
- 28:08Speaker 1: all the bs. That was the word I was going
- 28:10Speaker 1: to use that we've heard from some of these Republican candidates. Okay, well,
- 28:15Speaker 1: the election's over. Now, let's do the right thing. Now,
- 28:19Speaker 1: let's roll up our sleeves and get this done. Americans
- 28:22Speaker 1: sent a clear message. They rejected the deeply anti immigrant
- 28:27Speaker 1: message of the Magarepublicans. They said, Magarepublicans, we don't believe
- 28:31Speaker 1: in you. And one of the main reasons we don't
- 28:33Speaker 1: believe in you is you divide us and divide US
- 28:36Speaker 1: by attacking immigrants. In just last just last week, we
- 28:40Speaker 1: learned that Arizona, a purple state where the election was tight,
- 28:45Speaker 1: approved a measure to extend in state college tuition for
- 28:49Speaker 1: non citizens. That's not the politicians, that's the voters of Arizona,
- 28:56Speaker 1: which has a virulent right wing mostly who lost. But
- 29:03Speaker 1: in any case, and they joined eighteen other states Arizona
- 29:09Speaker 1: did in doing inputting this in place. Massachusetts voters rejected
- 29:14Speaker 1: a GOP appeal to a GOP effort to repeal a
- 29:18Speaker 1: state law that allows undocumented immigrants to apply for a
- 29:21Speaker 1: driver's license. So on something as simple as DOCCA, when
- 29:26Speaker 1: the public is clearly on our side in blue states,
- 29:29Speaker 1: purple states, even red states, we're calling on Republican colleagues
- 29:33Speaker 1: to join us. Waiting for our judicial system hanging by
- 29:38Speaker 1: a bare thread from court decision to court decision is
- 29:41Speaker 1: no way for anyone to have to live. It's cruel
- 29:44Speaker 1: and inhumane to keep millions in limbo. It's pastime DOCA
- 29:49Speaker 1: recipients feel safe in this country. So my message to
- 29:52Speaker 1: Senate Republicans is this, work with us, Work with us
- 29:56Speaker 1: on this widely supported policy so we can reach agreement
- 29:59Speaker 1: that will protect families and strengthen our economy, just as
- 30:03Speaker 1: we passed other bipartisan accomplishments which they thought couldn't be done, guns, veterans, chips.
- 30:11Speaker 1: We can get it done here. We can get it
- 30:13Speaker 1: done here. If we can get ten Republicans to join us,
- 30:16Speaker 1: we will get this done by the end of the year.
- 30:19Speaker 1: It's the smart thing to do, it's the right thing
- 30:21Speaker 1: to do, it's the morraw thing to do, it's the
- 30:24Speaker 1: humane team to do. And I want to assure everyone
- 30:26Speaker 1: here we will not stop fighting till we get a
- 30:29Speaker 1: fixed for DOCCA, a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers, and
- 30:33Speaker 1: a pathway to citizenship for all undocumented Thank you very much, everybody,
- 30:38Speaker 1: straight pathway to citizenship for all undocumented workers. Share this
