- 1:24Speaker 5: You gotta turn, got.
- 1:41Speaker 3: To turn the mouth turn you probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 3: the mouth turn out, turn the way of the money
- 1:48Speaker 3: up would come?
- 1:58Speaker 6: Come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:03Speaker 6: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 6: dig me now one and only see Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 6: radio show. Yeah man got one. Hey. You know, I
- 2:16Speaker 6: thought I think of my life in terms of blessings.
- 2:18Speaker 6: You know, I take mostly a positive approach and a
- 2:22Speaker 6: positive spin to my life. I hardly ever dwell on
- 2:27Speaker 6: you know, the what's well. I can't say that I
- 2:30Speaker 6: don't think about the what's wrong in it because I
- 2:32Speaker 6: have to, because I have to address problems as they arise.
- 2:36Speaker 6: But I try not to let them consume me. I
- 2:40Speaker 6: let the consumption part be about the blessings, the positive
- 2:44Speaker 6: things that has occurred in my life, the good things
- 2:47Speaker 6: that God has done for me, the power that He's
- 2:51Speaker 6: displayed in my life, the protection he's given me over
- 2:55Speaker 6: the years, to being tucked under his wings. I focus
- 2:58Speaker 6: on the things that he promises me. I think of
- 3:02Speaker 6: all the goodness that I perceive to come my way.
- 3:05Speaker 6: I think that has a lot to do with me
- 3:08Speaker 6: learning more and more about the law of attraction in
- 3:11Speaker 6: terms of you know, what you think and what you
- 3:14Speaker 6: put out in the space, and what you pray about
- 3:17Speaker 6: is what you receive. You know, and so I've become
- 3:20Speaker 6: better and better at that. It's not to say that
- 3:23Speaker 6: I'm not human and I don't have moments where I
- 3:27Speaker 6: think a little bit too long about what's going wrong
- 3:30Speaker 6: and what enemy is about to attack and what they're
- 3:33Speaker 6: going to do and say, and all of this his
- 3:35Speaker 6: That's not to say that I'm not concerned about it,
- 3:38Speaker 6: but I try to dwell mostly on the positive. And
- 3:42Speaker 6: one of the things that I learned, you can have
- 3:45Speaker 6: an incredible life, all of us. We can have incredible
- 3:49Speaker 6: lives if we just let God drive. See. The problem
- 3:54Speaker 6: that I had years ago was I was the driver
- 3:59Speaker 6: of my life, and I was taking myself in the
- 4:02Speaker 6: directions that I thought would be best for me, and
- 4:06Speaker 6: I aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish,
- 4:10Speaker 6: and I set goals that I saw myself being able
- 4:14Speaker 6: to attain I was driving when I gave up and
- 4:19Speaker 6: I let God drive. I then opened up my mind
- 4:23Speaker 6: and my spirit to what God had for me, for
- 4:27Speaker 6: what God could see for me, for what God could
- 4:31Speaker 6: do in my life, well, for what God wanted for me.
- 4:36Speaker 6: Now he wanted for me and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:41Speaker 6: that's the connection that you got to try to make. Well,
- 4:44Speaker 6: not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:46Speaker 6: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:49Speaker 6: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:52Speaker 6: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:55Speaker 6: wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:58Speaker 6: be nearly as demanding offsetting as you think it's gonna be. See,
- 5:02Speaker 6: I thought that if I did God's will, that if
- 5:06Speaker 6: I let God tell me what to do, that it
- 5:08Speaker 6: would cause me to not to be able to do
- 5:11Speaker 6: a certain some things I wanted to do well, which
- 5:13Speaker 6: is true. But the stuff I wanted to do was
- 5:16Speaker 6: all detrimental to my well being and my future and
- 5:19Speaker 6: my growth and development as a man. I was stopping
- 5:23Speaker 6: my own growth as a man because see, I was
- 5:25Speaker 6: doing what I thought I should do as a man.
- 5:28Speaker 6: But when you give it over to God. See, God
- 5:31Speaker 6: has a much better plan for you than you can
- 5:33Speaker 6: ever have for yourself. And God knows a better way,
- 5:36Speaker 6: far better than the one you know. I want you
- 5:38Speaker 6: to believe that.
- 5:39Speaker 7: Man.
- 5:39Speaker 6: You got to understand that part of it. And that's
- 5:41Speaker 6: the part that I finally got through my head to
- 5:44Speaker 6: let God do it his way and to show me
- 5:47Speaker 6: a better way, and to teach me a better way
- 5:50Speaker 6: and expose to me a better way. And when I
- 5:53Speaker 6: opened up my mind to what God was talking about,
- 5:56Speaker 6: I began to see things totally differently, started coming to
- 6:01Speaker 6: me totally differently. If you've been a friend of mine
- 6:05Speaker 6: or a fan of mine over the years, I mean,
- 6:08Speaker 6: you've had to see it, the change. You've had to
- 6:11Speaker 6: see the difference. I mean, and I acknowledge that every
- 6:15Speaker 6: chance I get, because I promised God I would, and
- 6:18Speaker 6: I hope that I'm not falling short in that category.
- 6:21Speaker 6: But then again, if I told it all day long
- 6:24Speaker 6: would he'd done for me, I still wouldn't have enough
- 6:26Speaker 6: time to really explain thoroughly what He's done for me,
- 6:30Speaker 6: because it's such a continuous growth in me. But now
- 6:34Speaker 6: that's not to say that I'm finished or I'm done
- 6:38Speaker 6: or I'm complete, because I'm still shock. You can't be him.
- 6:43Speaker 6: You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
- 6:45Speaker 6: all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
- 6:47Speaker 6: to be perfect, but you ain't and you can't. So
- 6:51Speaker 6: you quit saying it. You quit saying it to me,
- 6:53Speaker 6: quit saying it to other people. I'm seeking a life
- 6:57Speaker 6: of perfection, but it's something that you cannot have because
- 7:00Speaker 6: he said you can't do it. But that's what he'd
- 7:03Speaker 6: have for. He'd have for the moments when you stumble
- 7:05Speaker 6: and you fall, and you go stumble and fall. See,
- 7:08Speaker 6: you got to get that part right, man, The stumbling
- 7:10Speaker 6: falling part is coming. But see, you get God in
- 7:13Speaker 6: your life and it helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow, roll,
- 7:18Speaker 6: over lay their languish. That's what God is for. So
- 7:23Speaker 6: when you stumbling, fall, you get back up. Because you're
- 7:26Speaker 6: going to make mistakes. You're going to get it wrong.
- 7:30Speaker 6: You're going to come under attack, You're going to be
- 7:33Speaker 6: lied about, you are going to be falsely accused. That's
- 7:37Speaker 6: going to happen to you the moment you make a
- 7:39Speaker 6: decision to do better, the moment you try to be more.
- 7:43Speaker 6: The devil got to send his attackers. Man, and he
- 7:46Speaker 6: controls certain people. He just got people that's on his
- 7:50Speaker 6: side twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all
- 7:54Speaker 6: met one or two of the men in your life.
- 7:56Speaker 6: They just busy with the business of nothingness. They just
- 8:00Speaker 6: busy about the about the destruction of others. You said,
- 8:03Speaker 6: I know them, you know them. They coming. But here's
- 8:07Speaker 6: what you gotta hold fast too. They can't take away
- 8:11Speaker 6: nothing from you that God gave you. They didn't make you. See,
- 8:15Speaker 6: people who claim to have made you, if they so
- 8:19Speaker 6: in to make you business, why don't they make theyself?
- 8:22Speaker 6: Or if they ain't with you no more? And they
- 8:24Speaker 6: so busy in them I made you business, why don't
- 8:28Speaker 6: they make somebody else? Since you want to get credit
- 8:31Speaker 6: for making somebody make yourself. If you're responsible for someone
- 8:37Speaker 6: else's success, then you should easily be able to take
- 8:40Speaker 6: claim and be responsible for your own success. See, be
- 8:44Speaker 6: careful of that. Don't and don't don't change your course
- 8:48Speaker 6: because somebody is attacking you with that. I just hope, man,
- 8:52Speaker 6: that I'm giving it to God the way I said
- 8:54Speaker 6: I would give it to him, that I would unload
- 8:56Speaker 6: every chance I got that I was supposed to without
- 8:59Speaker 6: being you know, or hear he come again? You know.
- 9:02Speaker 6: I try not to be that, but man, I don't
- 9:04Speaker 6: know what else to be for the first twelve minutes
- 9:06Speaker 6: of my show? What else you want me to say?
- 9:08Speaker 6: I got four hours? I can't give God twelve twelve minutes, man,
- 9:12Speaker 6: I mean for real, Steve, come on, man, I mean,
- 9:14Speaker 6: let's look at this right here. If you given honor
- 9:17Speaker 6: to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog, he
- 9:20Speaker 6: gave you twenty four hours of luxury and life and
- 9:24Speaker 6: breath and hope and promise, you ain't got twelve minutes
- 9:27Speaker 6: to give him out the day. That don't make no sense.
- 9:30Speaker 6: What in exchange? What a wonderful life God has given
- 9:34Speaker 6: me in exchange for so small of effort that I
- 9:37Speaker 6: put forth. Don't let the effort you got to put
- 9:39Speaker 6: forth to God seem so dawning that you don't attempt
- 9:41Speaker 6: to do it, because man, it seems like a lot.
- 9:44Speaker 6: It ain't nothing to compare to what He be giving
- 9:46Speaker 6: us for real. So if you want a real life,
- 9:48Speaker 6: you want a real shot at what you can be,
- 9:50Speaker 6: what you can have, what you can own, what you
- 9:52Speaker 6: can become, who you really are. Go to God. Let
- 9:55Speaker 6: him fix you. Man.
- 9:56Speaker 1: That's all you're listening morning.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen. It's a new day, a new downing,
- 10:05Speaker 6: a new opportunity, another chance, another blessing, another moment of grace.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Please don't overlook it.
- 10:10Speaker 7: Man.
- 10:11Speaker 6: If you woke up this morning, if you were able
- 10:13Speaker 6: to get off your job and you're driving home this morning, man,
- 10:17Speaker 6: be grateful, y'all. Show gratitude. That's one of the most
- 10:19Speaker 6: overlooked principles of success there is. The more you are
- 10:23Speaker 6: grateful for, the more God will give you to be
- 10:26Speaker 6: grateful for. It's a very simple concept. Always wake up
- 10:30Speaker 6: with thanks and praise on your lips because you don't
- 10:32Speaker 6: have to do it. He didn't have to do it.
- 10:34Speaker 6: You ain't got to be here, but you are. Once
- 10:37Speaker 6: you start that, Heaven's Angel starts singing, and then every
- 10:41Speaker 6: word after that is all open ears. So let's give
- 10:45Speaker 6: thanks and honor to the Almighty God to create it.
- 10:47Speaker 6: And then you know, after that you can put in
- 10:49Speaker 6: some request. Bless me, Heavenly Father, bless me indeed. Yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 6: Steve Harvey mor The Show, Shirley Strawberry Colin for Real,
- 10:56Speaker 6: Mississippi Monica Junior and the legend of nephew Tommy Junior
- 11:00Speaker 6: kind of smiling this morning. That's throwing me off.
- 11:03Speaker 8: No, uncle, man, I'm out, man. I mean, I know, Uncle,
- 11:07Speaker 8: I had a rough week last week, but I'm out.
- 11:11Speaker 6: About the hospital. Yeah, I'm about the I'm back. It's
- 11:13Speaker 6: gonna be a little bit, tm I. You ain't gotta
- 11:15Speaker 6: do that on this show.

- 11:22Speaker 8: smiling though I'm unattracted.

- 11:27Speaker 9: Yeah, we got a smile a lot.
- 11:28Speaker 6: Tommy is shaking his head because he had denied, but
- 11:30Speaker 6: that that's that's why we have rehabs in denying. I'm
- 11:34Speaker 6: just you know what, I.
- 11:35Speaker 8: Bet I can hypnotize Tommy right now. I can hypnotize
- 11:38Speaker 8: and make make you understand that. You know, I can
- 11:40Speaker 8: make time. Go ahead, okay, Tommy, listen to me. Look
- 11:43Speaker 8: at me, Tommy, look at it. But on the counter
- 11:47Speaker 8: of three, when I snapped my fingers, you will fork
- 11:49Speaker 8: it that you're unattracted.
- 11:51Speaker 10: Go ahead, I'm gonna be saxe. Every time you snap
- 11:55Speaker 10: your fence, it working right now, that's work. You snapped
- 12:01Speaker 10: your fingers.
- 12:01Speaker 6: I'm gonna be Can you forget? You want to track?
- 12:04Speaker 6: You actually believe you attracted? You actually believe it?
- 12:10Speaker 2: Do you believe my This is his segment?
- 12:16Speaker 6: But what is he doing with it?
- 12:18Speaker 11: With me?
- 12:18Speaker 6: What?
- 12:18Speaker 7: What?
- 12:19Speaker 9: What?
- 12:19Speaker 3: What?
- 12:19Speaker 6: I don't know what you want? It's junior. What's on
- 12:23Speaker 6: your mind? Do you believe you?
- 12:25Speaker 9: Do you believe you attracted?
- 12:27Speaker 6: Do you do this with your rugg lass today? John?
- 12:31Speaker 2: Okay, okay, we're looking at you.

- 12:43Speaker 6: We don't here we go.
- 12:45Speaker 5: I'm not going.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Your own, take your own, handicapped and own your own.
- 12:54Speaker 6: I'm not gonna do.
- 12:55Speaker 9: I got mine.
- 12:55Speaker 8: But you you letting one go, You letting you an
- 12:58Speaker 8: unattracted go. You You is as well ugly and sick
- 13:02Speaker 8: as I am. We all together, we all want in
- 13:04Speaker 8: the words of Frank.
- 13:05Speaker 9: And we all want. Yeah what you say, we don't want?
- 13:09Speaker 2: Click clearly clearly, you back clearly clear If it will
- 13:13Speaker 2: help y'all out, let me.
- 13:15Speaker 6: I'm unattractive and healthy.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I can't coming over in thirty two minutes.
- 13:24Speaker 6: I can't do this with you, actually, because.
- 13:28Speaker 12: Minutes the hour for this, run that break back with
- 13:36Speaker 12: you as they argue about.
- 13:39Speaker 6: And then you come out after prayer. This is what
- 13:41Speaker 6: I got.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 12: You're listening Morning show. It is time now for the
- 13:48Speaker 12: nephew to run that break back. Nephew, what you got?
- 13:51Speaker 6: Can I borrow your freezer? Can I borrow your freezer?
- 13:58Speaker 13: Un there's a train on?
- 14:00Speaker 14: Can I help you?
- 14:00Speaker 7: I'm trying to reach Dale. Dale's the manager, right.
- 14:04Speaker 13: Yes, Dale is the manager. How can I help you?
- 14:07Speaker 7: Okay? Is Dale available? Is he there?
- 14:09Speaker 13: He's actually well with a customer. Is there something that
- 14:12Speaker 13: I can help you with? Or a pass along a message?
- 14:14Speaker 7: Okay? So y'all Allied Equipment? What exactly do y'all have there?
- 14:19Speaker 7: I'm going to make sure i'm calling the right place.
- 14:21Speaker 15: Oh yes, of course.
- 14:22Speaker 13: It's a restaurant supply company. So we have you know,
- 14:26Speaker 13: everything from freezers, refrigerators to your basic restaurant supplies.
- 14:32Speaker 7: Okay, y'all do have freezers, because that's what I'm trying
- 14:35Speaker 7: to do. What I'm trying to do is uh, I've
- 14:39Speaker 7: run out of freezer space, and I'm trying to see
- 14:42Speaker 7: if possibly, you know, my back is up against the
- 14:44Speaker 7: wall right now. I'm trying to see if I can
- 14:46Speaker 7: possibly put something in one of you as freezers for
- 14:50Speaker 7: a couple of days until I get free up on
- 14:53Speaker 7: this end. So that's why I wanted to see if
- 14:55Speaker 7: you guys would allow me to do something like that.
- 14:58Speaker 7: Is that possible?
- 15:00Speaker 2: Sorry?
- 15:00Speaker 13: Sorry, I'm a little confused. I don't want to buy
- 15:03Speaker 13: a freezer. You just want to put something in one
- 15:06Speaker 13: of our freezers.
- 15:07Speaker 7: I just want to put somebody there for a couple
- 15:09Speaker 7: of days because I have a freezer, but mine is
- 15:11Speaker 7: completely full, and I'm trying to see if I can
- 15:14Speaker 7: put something you ass freezer until, you know, for a
- 15:16Speaker 7: couple of days, and then I'll come back and get it.
- 15:19Speaker 11: I'm so sorry.
- 15:20Speaker 15: We don't do that.
- 15:24Speaker 13: If you wanted to come by and purchase a freezer,
- 15:28Speaker 13: I'm happy to help you, but we don't allow outside
- 15:31Speaker 13: vendors to put things in our freezers.
- 15:33Speaker 15: That's that's yeah, that's I'm sorry.
- 15:36Speaker 7: Okay, Well, well, I was sold if Dale would hear
- 15:39Speaker 7: what was going on, he might he might be able
- 15:41Speaker 7: to help me though.
- 15:42Speaker 13: Okay, you said your name was Kevin.
- 15:45Speaker 7: Kevin.
- 15:46Speaker 13: Okay, Kevin, if you just hold a moment, I will
- 15:48Speaker 13: see if Dale can take your Call's.
- 15:50Speaker 7: That's what the hell I asked in the first Playdal.
- 15:53Speaker 13: Okay, then hold on my own please.
- 15:56Speaker 7: Alright, this is Bell. I can I help you? How
- 15:59Speaker 7: you doing?
- 15:59Speaker 5: This?
- 15:59Speaker 7: Is Kevin Kevin? And I've been on the phone with
- 16:05Speaker 7: the cell persons. But let me tell you what I'm
- 16:08Speaker 7: trying to do. Man, I'm trying to use your You
- 16:12Speaker 7: have a lot of walk in freezers that you all sell,
- 16:14Speaker 7: right right? We do? Yeah? Okay, so what I got
- 16:19Speaker 7: is my freezer is completely.
- 16:21Speaker 9: Full, man, and I'm I'm my.
- 16:25Speaker 7: Back is against the wall. You can't highly recommended to
- 16:28Speaker 7: give you a call. Is it possible for me to uh,
- 16:31Speaker 7: I need to keep something frozen for a few days.
- 16:35Speaker 7: It's only going to be like two days my freezer
- 16:37Speaker 7: be uh, you know, half empty in a couple of days.
- 16:41Speaker 7: I just want to just need some somebody to just
- 16:43Speaker 7: kind of help me out here. Is it possible for
- 16:45Speaker 7: me to bring something over there to keep keep it
- 16:47Speaker 7: frozen for a couple of days?
- 16:49Speaker 11: You know what we got at the showroom, you know
- 16:51Speaker 11: with different displays so you can see what different kind
- 16:54Speaker 11: of refrigerators look int your restaurant. But I mean, if
- 16:56Speaker 11: you want to come and take a look at one,
- 16:58Speaker 11: I can have you in if you're into didn't buying one?
- 17:01Speaker 7: But no, no, I hate it's there for show, you know,
- 17:04Speaker 7: right right? No, No, I have a cooler. I have
- 17:07Speaker 7: a freezer already, but like I say, mine is just full.
- 17:10Speaker 7: In a couple of days it won't be And I
- 17:12Speaker 7: really got to get this this stuff on frozen. Man,
- 17:15Speaker 7: I'm gonna be in trouble. Like I said, I'm I'm
- 17:18Speaker 7: on my back against the wall over here, man. And
- 17:20Speaker 7: I can't remember who recommended you, but you can't highly
- 17:23Speaker 7: recommend it that you might be able to chill me
- 17:24Speaker 7: a little love on this look.
- 17:26Speaker 11: I guess it comes back. It depends on what you need,
- 17:28Speaker 11: how much? How much do you have that you need frozen?
- 17:31Speaker 11: I mean I don't even know what you Well, well.
- 17:33Speaker 7: I got three bodies that I need to get to keep,
- 17:38Speaker 7: you know, to keep frozen man. That you know we
- 17:40Speaker 7: run a mortuary over here. This is both Yeah, we
- 17:43Speaker 7: gotta need three people bodies, Yeah, yeah, we got three
- 17:46Speaker 7: bodies that And like I said, my my freezer is full. Man.
- 17:50Speaker 7: But in a couple of days, you know, these bodies,
- 17:53Speaker 7: you know, the funerals would have happened, so we'll be

- 36:34Speaker 12: people are still being Yeah it was, it really was. Yeah,
- 36:40Speaker 12: it really really was. Now we're going to switch gears
- 36:42Speaker 12: here and talk about this debate tonight. The first, last
- 36:45Speaker 12: and only debate is tonight between VP candidates Democratic Governor
- 36:50Speaker 12: Tim Waltson Republican Senator JD Vance. They're going to face off.
- 36:55Speaker 12: This will be the only debate. Like I said, it's
- 36:57Speaker 12: tonight at nine Eastern at the CBS studio in New York.
- 37:01Speaker 12: CBS said it reserves the right to turn off candidate microphones,
- 37:05Speaker 12: but microphones will not be muted while the other candidate
- 37:08Speaker 12: is speaking. A coin toss was held, which Republican VP
- 37:12Speaker 12: candidate JD Vance won, allowing him to have the second
- 37:15Speaker 12: closing statement. Okay, so there you go. That's tonight. I
- 37:20Speaker 12: don't think the anticipation is like it was for Harrison Trump.
- 37:26Speaker 1: No, I really don't earlier.
- 37:30Speaker 8: Yeah, I don't really care what JD.
- 37:33Speaker 12: Has to set all any woman hater, yes, hating.
- 37:38Speaker 9: On women's we product rights and all that.
- 37:41Speaker 1: I don't want nothing. I do want Walts to mop
- 37:45Speaker 1: the floor with him, though, I do want that. I'm
- 37:47Speaker 1: looking like that.
- 37:48Speaker 6: I like that.
- 37:48Speaker 9: Yeah, me too.
- 37:49Speaker 1: I like his energy. I love his coach Walt just mind.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Your damn business.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it. Seems like he talks from the heart. Yeah,
- 37:57Speaker 1: a lot genuine guys.
- 37:59Speaker 12: Yeah yeah, so yeah, we we at this time too.
- 38:03Speaker 12: We want to be We want to remind everyone to
- 38:06Speaker 12: please go vote. Go register. You can go to vote
- 38:09Speaker 12: dot gov. That's vote dot go o v to register
- 38:13Speaker 12: to vote. You still have time because the election is
- 38:17Speaker 12: in thirty something days now thirty something days, thirty five days. Okay.
- 38:24Speaker 17: Does the vice presidential debate matter?
- 38:28Speaker 6: No?
- 38:29Speaker 1: Well, I mean it's not going to change anything, is it. Well,
- 38:33Speaker 1: it's not going to really.
- 38:34Speaker 2: I don't care if if if it's just fall flat.
- 38:37Speaker 2: I don't care. I'm voting for Gamela. I don't care
- 38:40Speaker 2: what happens on this Seve.
- 38:44Speaker 6: Well, I mean, you know it's the vice presidency. You know,
- 38:50Speaker 6: nobody's pulling, nobody's voting for president because of the vice president.
- 38:56Speaker 6: If they cared about choice. First of all, if you
- 39:01Speaker 6: really cared about choice of candidate, Trump wouldn't be running to.
- 39:05Speaker 9: President, and JD wouldn't be vice and.
- 39:08Speaker 6: JD's show wouldn't be the vice president. Because you listen
- 39:11Speaker 6: to everything he says, he's damning idiots.
- 39:16Speaker 12: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, We're
- 39:19Speaker 12: gonna check your voicemail Steve at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 39:28Speaker 12: It's time now to check Steve's voicemail at eight seven
- 39:31Speaker 12: seven twenty nine, Steve. You can call and leave a
- 39:33Speaker 12: message and guess what, you just might hear your call
- 39:35Speaker 12: in the air.
- 39:36Speaker 1: So here we go, Steve.
- 39:37Speaker 12: This is a male caller who left a message for you.
- 39:41Speaker 18: Oh hold one, man, I just want to be agree
- 39:44Speaker 18: about it.
- 39:45Speaker 7: Okay.
- 39:45Speaker 19: Oh well, I'm gonna say this man. First of all, I.
- 39:48Speaker 18: Say everything you do as far as like.
- 39:50Speaker 16: You know, I think you aspired me, and you don't
- 39:52Speaker 16: say everything.
- 39:53Speaker 7: You know.
- 39:53Speaker 18: When I think about the fifth and I think about prosperity,
- 39:56Speaker 18: I think about you know what.
- 40:00Speaker 7: And I appreciate that.
- 40:01Speaker 18: Man, because in the morning you saw me, you letting
- 40:04Speaker 18: me off. You let me know. You know how God
- 40:06Speaker 18: feel a boy me. He is how I feel about
- 40:09Speaker 18: you know, my situation. Whenever I'm facing that person, you know,
- 40:13Speaker 18: and he and ten o'clock move to ten o'clock or
- 40:17Speaker 18: a message, you say the same thing. And I want
- 40:20Speaker 18: you to know that I appreciate that, but I will
- 40:22Speaker 18: I ever say that. When you talk politics, man, I
- 40:26Speaker 18: feel like you're kind of that's what you kind of divide.
- 40:29Speaker 19: The people that really love you and that really look
- 40:32Speaker 19: forward to hearing from you.
- 40:33Speaker 18: I feel like that's what you kind of divide where
- 40:36Speaker 18: we stay. I don't know if that makes sense.
- 40:38Speaker 16: I don't know.
- 40:39Speaker 6: Man.
- 40:39Speaker 18: I feel like you should kind of stay out of that.
- 40:40Speaker 7: Man.
- 40:41Speaker 18: I feel I can kind of let God, let God
- 40:43Speaker 18: handle this.
- 40:43Speaker 7: Like you. You do what you do as a leader, and.
- 40:46Speaker 18: You you know, don't separate, don't divide us, just to.
- 40:49Speaker 16: Keep it going.
- 40:50Speaker 19: And another thing, man, the whole thing with Junior man
- 40:53Speaker 19: on his I know he might be able to take it,
- 40:56Speaker 19: and you know, he might be able to laugh with it.
- 40:58Speaker 19: And my kind of person of the thing that it
- 41:00Speaker 19: did a little bit too much, man, because at the
- 41:03Speaker 19: end of the day, he might be able to laugh
- 41:04Speaker 19: about it, but he is still going through something that's
- 41:07Speaker 19: a battle that he keeps.
- 41:08Speaker 18: The person telling you to, I know he want to
- 41:12Speaker 18: laugh about it, but I know at the end is
- 41:13Speaker 18: still hurt. You say, y'all family, y'all family, y'all cool,
- 41:18Speaker 18: y'all cool, and I love y'all, and I just want to.
- 41:21Speaker 6: Get you know, man, First of all, I appreciate the call,
- 41:25Speaker 6: and I do appreciate you most of all for respecting
- 41:29Speaker 6: and honoring the fact that the first thing I do
- 41:33Speaker 6: is to point out God and remind people of having
- 41:37Speaker 6: a relationship with God and how important that is. That's
- 41:41Speaker 6: a critical aspect as to who I have become as
- 41:44Speaker 6: a person. So I appreciate you recognizing that. I hope
- 41:47Speaker 6: I can continue to inspire people and everything like that.
- 41:52Speaker 7: Uh.
- 41:52Speaker 6: The part about me and Junior Junior is a comedian, Oh,
- 41:58Speaker 6: Junior is a commedian. Junior has said stuff about his
- 42:00Speaker 6: own own illness. That has been pretty funny to me. H,
- 42:04Speaker 6: we're not gonna stop riding Junior.
- 42:06Speaker 3: That ain.
- 42:06Speaker 6: That ain't what we're doing over here. We're not gonna
- 42:08Speaker 6: We're not gonna stop riding Tommy. They're not gonna stop
- 42:11Speaker 6: riding me or you know, I hear everything they say
- 42:14Speaker 6: about me when I ain't here. You know, I know
- 42:16Speaker 6: how it goes. But that's who everybody, your friend Paul
- 42:26Speaker 6: talk about which one about that. As far as the
- 42:30Speaker 6: voting go, I think you say stuff divide us. Well,
- 42:33Speaker 6: you know we have a difference of opinion which comes
- 42:35Speaker 6: to voting, especially if you're voting for Trump versus Kamala has,
- 42:38Speaker 6: it's gonna be a difference. I'm not trying to divide you, brother,
- 42:42Speaker 6: I'm trying to get you to see what we up against,
- 42:45Speaker 6: the reality of what we're up against. If you listen
- 42:49Speaker 6: to me careful, I'm really trying to uplift you because
- 42:51Speaker 6: I know the truth about a lot of people, especially
- 42:55Speaker 6: that are supposedly wealthy. You know you have to you
- 42:59Speaker 6: have to be myul of how they really are. So
- 43:02Speaker 6: listen to me. You said you think, oh, to stay
- 43:04Speaker 6: out of it and let God helen it. God don't vote,
- 43:08Speaker 6: we do it. So now that statement you got to
- 43:13Speaker 6: kind of think carefully. Man. You know, faith without works
- 43:17Speaker 6: is dead. That's a scripture. So if you want things
- 43:22Speaker 6: to change in your life, you have to be willing
- 43:25Speaker 6: to be a participant in the things that can bring
- 43:29Speaker 6: about the change. So as far as us staying out
- 43:33Speaker 6: of politics and letting God helen, God handles it, but
- 43:37Speaker 6: God has also given us the power of choice, and
- 43:41Speaker 6: voting is one of the choices that we are afforded
- 43:44Speaker 6: in this country. And so no, we can't stay out
- 43:48Speaker 6: of it. We have to get involved in it because
- 43:52Speaker 6: if we stay home, they go to do what they
- 43:54Speaker 6: want to do with us, people who say your vote
- 43:57Speaker 6: don't count, or people who don't vote. If if you
- 44:00Speaker 6: don't put yourself at the table, you can quit complain
- 44:04Speaker 6: about what's on the menu. So I can't stay out
- 44:07Speaker 6: of politics, but I appreciate your call. Brother, keep your
- 44:10Speaker 6: head up and Junior is we're moving Junior to as
- 44:14Speaker 6: on sooner we can.
- 44:17Speaker 12: Coming up next Nephew Tommy's prank phone call. Right after this,
- 44:21Speaker 12: you're listening Hardy Morning Show coming up at the top
- 44:26Speaker 12: of the hour, right about four minutes after it's my
- 44:28Speaker 12: strawberry letter for today, and the subject is what does
- 44:32Speaker 12: she do that is so amazing. We'll get into that
- 44:36Speaker 12: and find out what that's all about, and justin for
- 44:40Speaker 12: you because right now the nephew is here with today's
- 44:43Speaker 12: prank phone call, nephew, what you got for us?

- 50:28Speaker 15: You would I wish you would try to whoop my

- 50:34Speaker 15: to show up and talk real reckless. O. Can you
- 50:36Speaker 15: show it up here with a damn caravan of animals
- 50:39Speaker 15: like I mean the ridiculous Okay, huh no, got my
- 50:43Speaker 15: face manous.
- 50:45Speaker 2: It's only one thing, I really, just only one last
- 50:48Speaker 2: thing I need to take.
- 50:48Speaker 6: You, to be honest with you.
- 50:50Speaker 7: What is that?
- 50:51Speaker 2: The only thing I can tell you now, Adrian, is
- 50:53Speaker 2: that I have nephew Tommy from the Steve.

- 54:07Speaker 12: Thank you, neph you subject what does she do that
- 54:09Speaker 12: is so amazing? Dear Stephen Shirley, My boyfriend is in
- 54:13Speaker 12: love with his brother's wife and he won't admit it.
- 54:17Speaker 12: It started as a joke, but now it's starting to
- 54:19Speaker 12: get under my skin. I met his brother. The same
- 54:23Speaker 12: night I met him, his brother had just started dating
- 54:26Speaker 12: the lady he married. That was four years ago. They
- 54:29Speaker 12: are married, but my boyfriend and I are not. My
- 54:32Speaker 12: boyfriend idolizes his sister in law and compliments her when
- 54:36Speaker 12: she's all dressed up, which is all of the time.
- 54:40Speaker 12: Her hair is short and fly, and she has expensive
- 54:43Speaker 12: purses and shoes. She called me last week and asked
- 54:46Speaker 12: me if we could do a day of pampering together.
- 54:49Speaker 12: We got Manny's and petties and had lunch at an
- 54:51Speaker 12: upscale hotel before we went to an expensive store downtown
- 54:56Speaker 12: to shop. I had only window shopped in this store
- 54:59Speaker 12: before we went straight to look at shoes. I don't
- 55:02Speaker 12: have small feet, so I never thought of wearing an
- 55:06Speaker 12: expensive pair of shoes. I ended up spending eight hundred
- 55:09Speaker 12: dollars on some red sole shoes.
- 55:12Speaker 1: After shoes we went.
- 55:14Speaker 12: After shoes, we went onto the makeup counter and I
- 55:17Speaker 12: had to pay seventy five dollars for a lady to
- 55:19Speaker 12: put makeup and lashes on me. My boyfriend's sister in
- 55:23Speaker 12: law was cheering me on all the way. Before we left,
- 55:27Speaker 12: I bought a super tight dress that was on sale,
- 55:30Speaker 12: and it showed off my big booty. I was exhausted,
- 55:34Speaker 12: but I was grateful and I felt beautiful as I
- 55:38Speaker 12: drove home, my boyfriend came over to check me out,
- 55:41Speaker 12: and he said it's the most beautiful he's ever seen me.
- 55:45Speaker 12: At that moment, my heart sank and I was so hurt.
- 55:49Speaker 12: Then he asked me if i'd ever cut my hair
- 55:52Speaker 12: short like his sister in law. I am crushed and
- 55:55Speaker 12: he can't understand why. He said the day I spent
- 55:58Speaker 12: with his sister in law was for my own good.
- 56:01Speaker 12: I feel like he's trying to turn me into something
- 56:03Speaker 12: I'm not. Am I wasting my time with him. Will
- 56:06Speaker 12: I ever be as amazing as she is? Okay, you
- 56:12Speaker 12: gotta stop this. I mean you gotta stop this. Stop
- 56:15Speaker 12: comparing yourself to this woman.
- 56:18Speaker 1: She's who she is and.
- 56:19Speaker 12: You are who you are. You will never be her.
- 56:22Speaker 12: Get that out your mind because you're you.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Let that be enough. Okay.
- 56:27Speaker 12: If your man wants her, then that means he doesn't
- 56:30Speaker 12: want you. I'm all for you know, doing things to
- 56:33Speaker 12: make yourself more attractive, enhancing your beauty and all that.
- 56:36Speaker 12: That's part of the fun of being a woman in
- 56:38Speaker 12: the first place. But you should be enhancing your own
- 56:41Speaker 12: beauty and enhancing, not trying to look like someone else.
- 56:45Speaker 12: You have to be confident. You have to be comfortable
- 56:47Speaker 12: in your own skin. You gotta love you, love yourself.
- 56:50Speaker 12: Don't worry about your man. Yeah, he compliments her and
- 56:53Speaker 12: all of that. He's you know and all of that.
- 56:56Speaker 12: But you it makes you feel some kind of way.
- 56:59Speaker 12: That's because you don't feel good about yourself. But he's
- 57:04Speaker 12: doing all this with his brother's wife, of all people.
- 57:07Speaker 12: Stop making him. Make you feel insecure. You said you
- 57:10Speaker 12: felt beautiful as you drove home after your makeover. Don't
- 57:14Speaker 12: lose that. Remember that feeling and how good it felt
- 57:17Speaker 12: to you. As long as you love yourself and have confidence,
- 57:19Speaker 12: I'm sure there's a good man. There are all kinds
- 57:21Speaker 12: of men who will will take the new you, But
- 57:24Speaker 12: you have to do the work on yourself. It's a process.
- 57:27Speaker 6: Okay, Steve, Well, here's the problem in the letter. The
- 57:33Speaker 6: problem to me in the letter isn't that she's comparing
- 57:37Speaker 6: herself to this other woman. The problem in this letter
- 57:40Speaker 6: is her boyfriend is comparing her to the other woman.
- 57:44Speaker 6: That's what seems to be the problem to me. What
- 57:48Speaker 6: does she do that's so amazing? Well, according to your boyfriend,
- 57:52Speaker 6: everything you don't see. That's the problem in this letter.
- 57:57Speaker 6: Right here, you open the line with my boyfriend is
- 58:01Speaker 6: in love with his brother's wife and won't admit it. Well,
- 58:04Speaker 6: he ain't got admitted. We got proof all through the
- 58:07Speaker 6: damn letter now, and it's starting to get under your skin.
- 58:11Speaker 6: And you met his brother the same night you met him,
- 58:15Speaker 6: his brother had just started this lady and they are married,
- 58:19Speaker 6: and but you and your boyfriend or not. And then
- 58:22Speaker 6: you say, your boyfriend idolizes this woman, compliments her when
- 58:26Speaker 6: she gets dressed up, which is all the time, Okay,
- 58:30Speaker 6: her hair short and fly, she's expensive persons and shoes.
- 58:35Speaker 6: Then last week y'all got together and went out head
- 58:37Speaker 6: of girl's day. Y'all we got man's pet, kids, went
- 58:39Speaker 6: to the hotel, did some pampering. Then y'all went downtown. Now,
- 58:46Speaker 6: you said, when you got downtown, you only window shopped
- 58:50Speaker 6: in this particular store before, and y'all went straight in
- 58:54Speaker 6: to look at shoes here. Would have let us start
- 58:58Speaker 6: to turn in a little bit. I don't have small feet,
- 59:03Speaker 6: so I never thought of wearinging expensive pair of shoes,
- 59:07Speaker 6: he would go, let's pull up right here. Let's just
- 59:09Speaker 6: deal with this for me. If you don't have small feet,
- 59:14Speaker 6: that means you have big feet, So that's why you've
- 59:19Speaker 6: never considered wearing an expensive pair of shoes. I've had
- 59:24Speaker 6: a lot of cheap shoes on in my life. I'm
- 59:27Speaker 6: not a woman, so I've never had to wear heels.
- 59:31Speaker 6: The bigger your foot, the more money you need to
- 59:33Speaker 6: spend on his shoe, they ain't gonna hold up them.
- 59:36Speaker 6: Heels ain't gonna be able to take this pressure. Because
- 59:39Speaker 6: you got this big foot jam down in there, you
- 59:41Speaker 6: got to spend money. Don't ever say because you got
- 59:45Speaker 6: big feet, you ain't want to buy an expensive pair
- 59:47Speaker 6: of shoes, so you end up spending eight hundred on
- 59:49Speaker 6: some red sole shoes. I understand that that is high.
- 59:54Speaker 6: It is high for a pair of shoes because I
- 59:56Speaker 6: used to feel that way. First pair of shoes, a
- 59:58Speaker 6: dude gave me name how bibe by It. Dallas own
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: silhouette store bought me a pair of seven hundred and
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: fifty dollars alligator. Maurice gave him to me as a
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: birthday gift. I told him, I said, bro, you're wasting
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: your time. I don't care how much money I make.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: I will never ever spend seven hundred and fifty dollars
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: on a pair of shoes. I told him that that
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: was one of the biggest lies I've ever.
- 1:00:20Speaker 12: Hang on, Steve, I have part two of your Thank
- 1:00:23Speaker 12: You Jesus coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:26Speaker 12: Today's Strawberry letter? Subject what does she do that is
- 1:00:29Speaker 12: so amazing? We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:00:36Speaker 12: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:39Speaker 12: The subject is why did what does she do that
- 1:00:41Speaker 12: is so amazing?
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: Well, the problem in this letter is this woman is
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: being compared by to this sister in law of her boyfriend,
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: his brother's wife, and she is trying to compare them to.
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: So they went out. They had a girl's day together,
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: her and the sister in law. She admits, the girl
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: this f I got short hair, always dressed up real nice.
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: They went shopping manicure, Peedicure. They went to a store
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: she only wanted to shop in. She says, I have
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: large feet, so I've never thought about buying the expensive
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: pair of shoes. I said, the bigger your feet, the
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: more money you need to spend on them, because you're
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: putting a lot of pressure on their ass all day long.
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: So you need to have some shoes that can hold up.
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: I did not know you was gonna go in here
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: and buy yourself a pair of eight hundred dollars red
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: bottom shoes. I will admit that's a lot of money
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: for a shoe. After shoes, we went to the makeup
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: count and I had to pay seventy five dollars for
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: a lady to put makeup and lashes on me. Okay,
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: that's the price me personally, I think you got off
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: a little bit cheap because they that makeup and lashes.
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: Ain't nobody putting their lashes on for that kind of money.
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: So I think you got a good deal. But now
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: you out. I don't know how much you out of
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: you out of eighty seventy five on paper, but that
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: ain't including how much the money and the petty costs.
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: I'm just talking about you about a thousand dollars a day.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: But then before we left, you bought a super tight
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: dress that was on sale and it showed off my
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: big booty. Now here we go. We got two big
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: things we're operating with. We got big feet. We got
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: a big booty. You gotta have big feet to hold
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: up the big booty. I catch all this catch just
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: told you a minute ago. You got lied of weight
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: on the last feet. What you can't have is big booty,
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: big breast, big everything, and then put some live bitty
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: feet in there. You know you gonna fall, you you
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: you you gonna fall, You gonna you're gonna tip right over,
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: or you can't see little feet you go fall back
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: on that big booty, or the big breasts gonna pull
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: you down. You gotta have feet, stretch out and create
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: a balance. And I think you find your thick fine sister,
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: I think that's what you need to ride with. You
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: got them curves, working girls. Yep, you got everything. You
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: got something somebody liked because he picked you. Now the
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: problem is your boyfriend came over and you was grateful,
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: and you felt beautiful driving home. Right then your boyfriend
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: came over to check you out. He said, it's the
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: most beautiful he's ever seen me. Now, I don't think
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: nothing wrong with that. You know, you just bought these
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: expensive shoes. You normally wear cheap shoes. Now you just
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: said that. Now you got them Christian lubertons on and
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: you've been wearing Pickway shoes. You know you might have
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: been down there trying to say money. You might even
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: been a rock port. I don't know where you been
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: buying your shoe. But this man came over and complimented you.
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: Instead of you taking it like a compliment, he said,
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: at just the most beautiful he's ever seen you. At
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: that moment, my heart sank. What you done paid this
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: lady for this makeup? You don't do your makeup like that.
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: You got these eyelashes on you. Obviously you needed them
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: on there because she put them on there at the
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: damn stove. So now he donet recognized you. He said,
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: that's the most beautiful he's ever seen you. My heart sank,
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: and I was gonna hurt. Why the man just paid
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: you the ultimate compliment. Then he asked me, now here
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: way he got stupid. Then he asked me, would I
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: ever cutting my hair short like his sister gash where
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: his dumb ass, see dog, that's where you got dumb,
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: and dudes, sometime we just dumb. I'm so sorry, ladies,
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: I apologize because this is dumb me. I am crushed
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: and he can't understand why because he's stupid. He said.
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: The day I spent with my sister in law was
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: for your own good. I feel like he's trying to
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: turn me into something I'm not. That's true. Am I
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: wasting my time with him? Will I ever be as
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: amazing as she is? Yeah? As soon as you cut
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: your hair? Yeah that's yeah. See Will I ever be
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: amazing that she is? Yes, just as soon as you
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: cut your hair, because that's what he won't. Now, I
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: think what you're gonna have to do is sit down
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: and have a heart to heart. Listen. I am tired
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: of you comparing me to her. I like her, We
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: get along just fine. I think she is fly. I
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: can't be that. I can't shop the way she shops.
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: I can't afford that. And then you know, see now
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: if women did that, you know, look at what she
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: be behying her then she got her laid out. Look
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: look what you get me? Because obviously he ain't making
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: the money his brother make now you a fine sister.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: Stop letting this man make you think you not because
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: he is enamored with somebody else. If you so enamored
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: with somebody else, then go get you. So go ahead
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: and free yourself. If you don't want me, don't talk
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: to me. Oh good, ahead and free you say, it help.
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: You know, that's one of my favorite songs. And that's
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: what you may have to do, because if he's stuck
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: on her, then go find her, because what you got
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: is me. But that's what killed me bout some men.
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: What you get is her, what you want is her,
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: What you got is her. See it don't make no
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: damn sense. If he had the ability to get better,
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: he would have better, but he don't remember that sistence.
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: If a man can do better than you, he would
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: all right.

- 1:08:13Speaker 8: know you probably would have picked this too. The Titans
- 1:08:15Speaker 8: beat the Dolphins thirty one to twelve. Wuld you would
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: have picked the Titan doll Nope?
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: Well yeah, yeah, y'all would have because to us out.
- 1:08:22Speaker 8: Yeah exactly, okay up, and then the Seahawks fall to
- 1:08:25Speaker 8: the Lions.
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: I know this for your team, Detroit. Hell yeah, I'm
- 1:08:30Speaker 6: all year long, non stop.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:37Speaker 8: And as we talked about earlier, we did lose Pete
- 1:08:39Speaker 8: Rose better known as Charlie Hustle.
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:08:41Speaker 8: Let me just tell you, man, it's a crazy man.
- 1:08:42Speaker 8: He won't be inducted to the Hall of Fame because
- 1:08:44Speaker 8: he is the all time hits leader in Major League
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: Baseball and he's not in the Hall of Fame with
- 1:08:48Speaker 8: four thy two hundred and fifty six hits.
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: That's because they say he bat on baseball games.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Yeah, as of playing games though, right, but his games,
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: his own game.
- 1:09:02Speaker 8: Why would they band him for that? Because he a player?
- 1:09:05Speaker 6: Because the hipocritical you know, you're not supposed to bet,
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: but he did. But so what you punished him, You
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: banned him from baseball. You're gonna keep him off the
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: Hall of Fame for that. But but Donald Trump can
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: get in the White House with thirty four felony convictions. Man,
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: miss me with that mess. That's just the most backwards.
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: And also we lost to Keimym tombo Man. He was
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: a four time defensive Player of the shoot at the
- 1:09:33Speaker 8: league in block huge consecutives, God huge loss Man. He's
- 1:09:38Speaker 8: second only behind a team Olajahwan in blocks man eighteen years.
- 1:09:42Speaker 8: He played for the Letter Hawks to fill up Sex
- 1:09:44Speaker 8: seventy six ers. Also the New Jersey next before they
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: were the Brooklyn Nets, the New York Knicks and the
- 1:09:49Speaker 8: Houston Rockets.
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: Man the Ken Bay. We missed you man.
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: And don't forget the finger wave. The finger wave will
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: never go nowhere. He blocked that shot. You're getting that
- 1:09:57Speaker 8: finger wave.
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: On the commercial.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: He was killed.
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: There you go, Sharon.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: All right, Junior, all right, thank you.
- 1:10:06Speaker 12: Coming up at the top of the hour, a man
- 1:10:08Speaker 12: on social media needs your advice, Steve. He says, should
- 1:10:10Speaker 12: I loan money to my girlfriend? We'll talk about it
- 1:10:14Speaker 12: right after this.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Hey, y'all, Nah, you're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:21Speaker 12: All right, See this is from Aaron on Steve Harvey.
- 1:10:24Speaker 12: He says, my girlfriend of two years asked me to
- 1:10:27Speaker 12: loan her thirty five hundred dollars to help with some
- 1:10:29Speaker 12: credit card debt. I love her and could easily lend
- 1:10:33Speaker 12: her the money. But something about loaning her money makes
- 1:10:37Speaker 12: me uncomfortable. I'm afraid it could change the dynamic of
- 1:10:41Speaker 12: our relationship or cause resentment down the line.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: What should I do?
- 1:10:45Speaker 12: Is it a bad idea to mix money and relationships?
- 1:10:48Speaker 12: Should I just give her the money instead?
- 1:10:52Speaker 6: Well, this like this man, that was going to be
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: my suggestion, give it to if you don't want it,
- 1:10:58Speaker 6: to give it to. Give them the mone and then
- 1:11:01Speaker 6: you let's have a real conversation. Do you see a
- 1:11:05Speaker 6: future with this girl? If the answer is yes, then
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: give her the money. Two years see and you must
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: see a future with this girl. That's why you wrote
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: the letter. But see, man, stop listening to all these
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: young boys is out here today. I'm not taking care
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: of no woman. You understand man, that as a man,
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: we have two major credentials requirements of as men. Protection
- 1:11:32Speaker 6: and provision. Those are the two things that every man
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: is required as a part of being a man. Now,
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: you will provide for a wife and a family one day.
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: That's your job, that's a duty. But that's just like
- 1:11:47Speaker 6: a woman. There's children. They the only ones can do that.
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: That's major man. If you want a family, and you
- 1:11:56Speaker 6: go to a woman and you want kids. Guess what,
- 1:11:59Speaker 6: She's the man, your factor and producer of life, the
- 1:12:02Speaker 6: only one. So now if that's herd obligation and duty
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: in the relationship, where your is atacham. So you have
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: to practice like you gonna play, because if you want
- 1:12:17Speaker 6: the woman to take care of you, you're gonna have
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: to take care of a woman. And I got news
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: for you when you read it. When you really get
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: a good woman, you can't outgive it. I don't give
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: a damn what you do. You can buy cars, swimming
- 1:12:29Speaker 6: pool houses. When they get in your corner and they
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: do what they do that only they know how to do, nog,
- 1:12:37Speaker 6: that's when your life can take off. It's like this, man,
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: I have a relationship with my wife. We have a
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: real understanding here. And it took me a minute to
- 1:12:47Speaker 6: get to this because I had been jacked up in
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: previous relationships and I had some scars baggage. I build
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: the empire, she got to take care of the empire.
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: Once I found out that that's what he was really about,
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: it freed me up to get into the building business.
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: But if you're gonna build the empire, tend to the empire,
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: manage the empire, watch the empire, orchestrate the empire and
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: all this and then watch all the money. But just
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: don't take away from your time to build. So what
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: you want to end up with is a woman with
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: some with the potential to be a partner. So my
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: simple question to you is if you have to see
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: a future with this woman, I think you do, just
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: give it the money because loaning the money, you think
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: it a change the dynamics of the relationship. Loan or
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: gild dog which one you want to do. Loan of
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: the money if you don't see no future and then
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: mess your relationship because you already think that's what's gonna happen.
- 1:13:46Speaker 6: Or if you see a relationship, give it the money.
- 1:13:48Speaker 12: Why is that you think such a hard concept to grasp.
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: Nowadays a lot of young men are not being raised
- 1:13:55Speaker 6: by father and that's a sad dynamic and that's not
- 1:14:00Speaker 6: being taught as young men. I was very fortunate and
- 1:14:03Speaker 6: that I had my father till I was forty, and
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: he made it clear to me and my brothers, it's
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: your dob. It's your job as a man to protect
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: and provide. You may not be a good talker. You
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: may not be a good listener. You might know. You
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: might fail in communications, you might fail in nurturing. You
- 1:14:20Speaker 6: might not know how to take care of when they
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: get sick. You might not, but your ask better be
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: there to protect her and make sure she got what
- 1:14:27Speaker 6: she needed. That's your job. I mean, what else you
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: want to do? If a woman can make the baby,
- 1:14:36Speaker 6: what do you got to make? You can't make a way, man,
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: Please stop that, stop and start understanding that as men,
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: it is our job to make away. This thing. Ain't
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: finna be even? Who told you that you can't make
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: a baby so high? It's going to ever be even? Man?
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: Get out of here, all right?
- 1:15:00Speaker 12: Well, Mara of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:15:02Speaker 12: at twenty minutes after right after this, you're listening.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:15:09Speaker 12: Well, hundreds of people are confirmed to be dead from
- 1:15:13Speaker 12: Hurricane Helene, but with thousands still missing, that number is
- 1:15:17Speaker 12: expected to rise. Search teams are working to reach communities
- 1:15:21Speaker 12: that have been completely cut off. Reports are coming out
- 1:15:24Speaker 12: of North Carolina that some towns have been wiped off
- 1:15:28Speaker 12: the map. Georgia's Governor, Brian Kemp said Saturday, that it
- 1:15:32Speaker 12: looks like a bomb went off in parts of his state,
- 1:15:36Speaker 12: and several communities in Florida were washed away. President Biden
- 1:15:40Speaker 12: has issued emergency declarations for Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina,
- 1:15:44Speaker 12: South Carolina, and Tennessee. Meanwhile, the National Hurricane Center is
- 1:15:49Speaker 12: closely watching other activity in the Atlantic and Caribbean. Go
- 1:15:53Speaker 12: to Redcross dot org to help our neighbors in the southeast.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Wow, it was.
- 1:15:59Speaker 12: Truly deviis stating in the in Georgia, in the Atlanta
- 1:16:03Speaker 12: area for sure, in the Buckhead area and so many
- 1:16:07Speaker 12: areas around the flooding and everything, power outages, all of that.
- 1:16:12Speaker 12: I mean you didn't time to even recognize it.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Yeah, the city at all.
- 1:16:17Speaker 17: Yeah, yeah, I mean Ashville, North Carolina, they are completely
- 1:16:21Speaker 17: did you see the images on social media and on the.
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: News, really completely.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Completely cut off. It reminded me of Katrina. Yes, in Ashville.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: It's horrible.
- 1:16:33Speaker 17: And they said those mountain areas, those mountain of remote areas,
- 1:16:37Speaker 17: those people.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Don't have anything.
- 1:16:39Speaker 6: See.
- 1:16:39Speaker 9: Yeah, it's horrible.
- 1:16:42Speaker 12: So if you want to help, please go to Redcross
- 1:16:44Speaker 12: dot org and coming up at thirty three minutes after
- 1:16:48Speaker 12: the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:51Speaker 12: Right after this, you're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: It's time now for a round. And would you rather?
- 1:16:58Speaker 12: Would you rather be stuck in an elevator with a
- 1:17:02Speaker 12: chatty parrot or with a mind that communicates only through
- 1:17:07Speaker 12: interpretive dance.
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: I'm gonna behind.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna be with the parrots.
- 1:17:14Speaker 6: I'm being there with the chatty pard. I can shut
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: his hands up it, but the bird gonna quit. The
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: bird gonna be looking at me with concern, probably probably
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: gonna want to hold up, probably gonna want off his
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: elevator in a minute. Yeah, but I can't stand in
- 1:17:35Speaker 6: the mind though. Dog, I can't stand in little white
- 1:17:38Speaker 6: make up your hand.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: I can't.
- 1:17:41Speaker 12: I can't stand mind mimes.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: There are chiees Man where you like.
- 1:17:48Speaker 8: You're in this box for this loan though, But if you're.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: In the elevator a long time, I mean, you know,
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: we can't eat the parrot.
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: I mean we got something to eat. You know what
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: I'm saying.
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: I mean it is, that's what.
- 1:18:03Speaker 6: Yeah, Well, you're gonna cook the pad on the elevation.
- 1:18:08Speaker 17: A miner or grill and find a way to cook
- 1:18:11Speaker 17: the pair.
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: Okay, I'm good letting you know? All right?
- 1:18:14Speaker 12: Would you rather get food poisoning six times a year
- 1:18:19Speaker 12: or always be followed by flies?
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: Food poisonous?
- 1:18:25Speaker 6: That that that food parton?
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: God, I gotta do these flying I got get I
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: can get a tailor so you can get.
- 1:18:35Speaker 6: These fIF Yeah. Tail you know that little you know,
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: horsetail that you can carry like a fan. Oh, I'm
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: gonna give me a carre of the black flag. I'm
- 1:18:47Speaker 6: gonna see how long fly not their food poison?
- 1:18:57Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Six times a year?
- 1:18:59Speaker 6: Yeah? All right? This would you rather really for you?
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: I'm not in this.
- 1:19:11Speaker 12: Here's one. Would you rather undo your biggest mistake? Or
- 1:19:17Speaker 12: would you rather never make a mistake again?
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: Come on, Miss Universe, God, that ain't even a big one.
- 1:19:30Speaker 8: Yeah, remember you said that in the casino. We was
- 1:19:32Speaker 8: going through the casino and the dude stopped. He said,
- 1:19:35Speaker 8: you would have messed that up? She said, hey, man,
- 1:19:37Speaker 8: it ain't of my top ten.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Wait there's more.
- 1:19:43Speaker 6: You don't remember that. God stopped me and said, man,
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: you really messed up that, Miss Universe moment, I said, bro,
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: that was a horrible the biggest mistake, I said, brother,
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: let me tell you it ain't even the top ten.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: It just kept on walking, all.
- 1:19:59Speaker 6: Bruh, you just don't know what I know. That ain't
- 1:20:03Speaker 6: even in the top ten. Pimp.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: That's today's rounded. Would you rather coming up? At forty minutes,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: we'll close out the show with the one and only
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we are last break of the
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: day and.
- 1:20:22Speaker 12: We're ready for your closing remarks.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: What you got to pay?
- 1:20:25Speaker 6: My close remarks today was kind of spurred on by
- 1:20:28Speaker 6: an email or a question. Some young man had called
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: in earlier, not called in, but written in and wanted
- 1:20:38Speaker 6: to know that he had a relationship with a woman
- 1:20:40Speaker 6: for two years. He really loves her, and she asked
- 1:20:43Speaker 6: him for thirty five hundred dollars and he feels uncomfortable
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: loaning her that kind of money because he thinks it'll
- 1:20:50Speaker 6: affect the relationship. So at the end of the conversation,
- 1:20:54Speaker 6: it was should I loan her the money but I
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: think it'll affect our relationship? Or should I give her
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: the money? Which prompted me to thinking, and I don't
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: know what he should do, but if he's serious about
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: the woman, then you got to practice the way you're
- 1:21:09Speaker 6: gonna play. If this is your girl and you're gonna
- 1:21:12Speaker 6: have a life with her, I don't see the problem
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: in helping her, because why would you have a person
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: in your life that you're not going to support and help. However,
- 1:21:22Speaker 6: whatever the financial burden it is, I'm not talking about
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: the dollar amount, because thirty five hundred dollars to some
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: people is a huge amount of money, and I understand that.
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: So I'm not talking about the dollar amount. I'm talking
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: about the principle if you are going to if you
- 1:21:35Speaker 6: have a plan of loving someone and spending a life
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: with someone, you're gonna have to help that person from
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: time to time, and that person is gonna have to
- 1:21:47Speaker 6: help you from time to time.
- 1:21:50Speaker 9: It's a year.
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: It's a give and take in a relationship. I don't
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: understand how I'm hearing so much from young men today.
- 1:21:58Speaker 6: Now let me say this. I'm not a spokesperson for
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: black people, but guess what, I am an expert at manhood.
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: I know everything there is about manhood. You can't tell
- 1:22:10Speaker 6: me nothing new about manhood. I'm sixty seven.
- 1:22:15Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: You can tell me some different circumstances that I might
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: not have dealt with before. But you can't tell me
- 1:22:20Speaker 6: nothing about the principles of manhood. I was fortunate to
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: have my father for forty years. I was fortunate to
- 1:22:27Speaker 6: have my grandfather until I was about fifteen. I was
- 1:22:31Speaker 6: fortunate to still have Uncle Donald in my life and
- 1:22:35Speaker 6: a couple other uncles. I was fortunate enough to have
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: had my brothers my entire life. My oldest brother's past,
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: my youngest brother's eleven years old, eleven years older than me.
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: I've been around me and my whole life. I've seen
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: examples of what manhood is. And let me tell you
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: the truth of manhood. We are men when you are men,
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: and that comes with something. Now, whether you want it
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: or not, that ain't got nothing to do with the
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: requirements of it. I was raised and taught that we
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: have two things that is a must as a man,
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: protection and provision. You have to do those two things.
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: They are not debatable. It is not on the negotiation table.
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: It is the core of who we are as men,
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: protectors and providers. That's at the core of manhood. The
- 1:23:31Speaker 6: number one principle of manhood that my father taught me
- 1:23:34Speaker 6: was do what you say you gonna do. That's number one.
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: Nothing else matters as a man, because everybody can respect
- 1:23:43Speaker 6: you if they can count on you. Your children will
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: respect you if you do what you say you're gonna do.
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: If daddy said he gonna pick you up, Daddy, show up,
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: he picked you up. Daddy say he gonna take you
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: over here, Daddy take you over there, You're gonna respect
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: your father. In your relationship with the woman, if you
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: tell her what you go and you do it, she
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: will respect you for that. There is something that comes
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: with manhood, and we are starting to lose it in
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: this newer generation. And I can only attribute it to
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: so many young men are being raised without their father
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: as active in their life. And that ain't your fault,
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: young brothers, And I'm not coming down on you for it,
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: but take it from somebody who had that in his
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: life then to his entire time. There's something that comes
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: with manhood, protection and provision. Is it. I'm getting tired
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: of hearing young brothers come on Instagram asking women all
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: the time what y'all bring to the table. Well, first
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: of all, I don't know if nobody told you nothing,
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: but it's your job to build the table. I'm sorry
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: nobody told you that. It's your job to construct a table. Now,
- 1:24:59Speaker 6: what she will bring to the table is if you
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: are a man and you want a wife, she would
- 1:25:04Speaker 6: bring that to the table. If you are a man
- 1:25:07Speaker 6: and you want a family, she's gonna bring that to
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: the table. Now that making a family is huge because
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: women are the only producers and manufacturers of life. So
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: if they can make a family, you trying to tell
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: me you're not supposed to provide for it. Excuse me,
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: It's a simple question. If this woman can come to
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: this table and give you what you want, a daughter
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: or a son, that you get the name after you,
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: to get to carry your family name on. You mean
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: to tell me you don't think your obligation is to
- 1:25:46Speaker 6: provide for her. That's where you want because it is
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: all this conversation about I ain't paying nothing for a woman? Billy,
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: Where did you get that from? Who told you to
- 1:26:00Speaker 6: this was fifty to fifty who told you that you
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: should go on every date and go dutch? Who told
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: you that if a woman ain't worth a plate of food,
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: how she worth building a home with. I'm just trying
- 1:26:12Speaker 6: to understand that, young brothers. I'm not coming down on you.
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: I'm just telling you what we are as men. The
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: truth about manhood is, this is who we need to be.
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: Who you emulating, what you're trying to be. We are men.
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: You can't forget that. You don't get off the hook
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: from that. We are men. I'm just talking about I'm
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: talking to hetero sexual men. I have no conversation for
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: nothing else. I don't know nothing about nothing else. But
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: if you are a heterosexual man, your job is protection
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: and provision. Period. Now. I don't misunderstand nothing I said,
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: and I don't understand where we're going. We need to
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: get back to who God made us to be. Simple
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: as that, we men, protection and provision. I'm not talking
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: about your sexuality. I'm talking about protection and provision. That's
- 1:27:03Speaker 6: what we do. Those are my clothes on remarks. Have
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: a great quar.
