- 1:55Speaker 8: Come come on, you're think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 8: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 8: one and on that Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 8: Well all right, I learned something and it's sharing time.
- 2:21Speaker 8: And I am ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for
- 2:27Speaker 8: all that he allows me to learn in my life. Well,
- 2:31Speaker 8: one of the best lessons I've learned is that hardship
- 2:39Speaker 8: teaches you some great lessons. Challenges brings about some of
- 2:45Speaker 8: my best results. I think what I'm trying to say is,
- 2:50Speaker 8: and every challenge in hardship, every setback, I've learned something
- 2:57Speaker 8: so so valuable.
- 3:00Speaker 2: So here's here's what.
- 3:01Speaker 8: I've You know, I've known this, but I've just learned
- 3:05Speaker 8: it at a different angle. Appreciation and gratitude is the
- 3:11Speaker 8: key to having more.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Now.
- 3:16Speaker 8: I don't know how that sound to you, but I
- 3:20Speaker 8: can't tell you how true it is. God being fair
- 3:25Speaker 8: and just as he really is.
- 3:27Speaker 2: He really is. He's a fair and a just God.
- 3:30Speaker 8: What's most beneficial to us is he happens to be
- 3:34Speaker 8: full of mercy and grace. And I'm telling you something, man,
- 3:42Speaker 8: I've probably benefited from his grace and mercy more than
- 3:50Speaker 8: anything else. I mean, really, man, if it wasn't for
- 3:53Speaker 8: him just forgiving me, and then for him just touching
- 4:00Speaker 8: my life the way he has, I mean, I'm not
- 4:03Speaker 8: here in this position today.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I'm just not.
- 4:07Speaker 8: But the funny thing has happened along the way, even
- 4:10Speaker 8: to you, if you look at it, is that your
- 4:14Speaker 8: genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the key to you
- 4:19Speaker 8: having more for your continued blessings and for making room
- 4:26Speaker 8: for Heaven to open up and pour out blessings that
- 4:29Speaker 8: you don't have room enough to receive. If you look
- 4:32Speaker 8: at it, see God being affair and just God, which
- 4:35Speaker 8: he is.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Why would he put more on you than you can bear?
- 4:42Speaker 8: If you've noticed everything that's happened in your life, if
- 4:46Speaker 8: you're still here, you've made it, you know, forget how
- 4:50Speaker 8: rough it was. Got that, but you made it. Forget
- 4:55Speaker 8: what it sent you through, and it how it made
- 4:57Speaker 8: you feel.
- 5:00Speaker 2: You made it.
- 5:02Speaker 8: Now, what makes people give up and you hear about
- 5:05Speaker 8: people committing suicide, is they leave the God out of
- 5:08Speaker 8: their life and they start allowing that other voice to control.
- 5:13Speaker 8: And if it's really true that God never puts more
- 5:15Speaker 8: on you than you can bear, as long as you
- 5:18Speaker 8: stay connected to God, you can get through anything. But
- 5:22Speaker 8: you lose that connection, you lose that communication, you lose
- 5:28Speaker 8: that relationship with him. If you're not having a relationship
- 5:32Speaker 8: with God, then who you having a relationship with. It
- 5:38Speaker 8: ain't but two forces at work at all time. It's
- 5:42Speaker 8: good and evil. It's positive and negative. It is God,
- 5:49Speaker 8: it's Satan. Now, this is at work all the time.
- 5:54Speaker 8: So if you're not being positive about everything, you leave
- 5:58Speaker 8: room for negativity to step in. If you're not trying
- 6:02Speaker 8: to be righteous in your way, then you allow evil
- 6:06Speaker 8: to step in. If you don't work on your relationship
- 6:10Speaker 8: with God, come on, now, look who you're letting step in.
- 6:15Speaker 8: So now I'm asking you to understand that God never
- 6:21Speaker 8: puts more on you than you can bear. Okay, now
- 6:23Speaker 8: that we got that clear, that's a fact.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:26Speaker 8: Now with that fact in mind, let's go over this
- 6:28Speaker 8: right here. Why would God, being as just and merciful
- 6:33Speaker 8: as he is, put more on you than you can bear? Example,
- 6:38Speaker 8: if God has given you blessings and all you're doing
- 6:43Speaker 8: is complaining about him, you're never showing any appreciation of
- 6:47Speaker 8: gratitude about it. Why would he give you some more
- 6:49Speaker 8: stuff to be ungrateful for? Why would he give you
- 6:53Speaker 8: some more stuff to complain about? Why would he give you.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Some more stuff that you would not show any more
- 6:58Speaker 2: appreciation for?
- 7:00Speaker 8: I mean, this thing is real simple, man, ain't it
- 7:02Speaker 8: if you think about it?
- 7:03Speaker 1: So?
- 7:04Speaker 8: A lot of times, Man, when I was going through
- 7:06Speaker 8: my positions of not having and wondering at all, I here,
- 7:10Speaker 8: I ended up checking myself and going, man, I'm not
- 7:13Speaker 8: even showing any gratitude or appreciation for the things He
- 7:16Speaker 8: has done for me. Start showing some appreciation and gratitude,
- 7:20Speaker 8: because it's the key to have it more. It's the
- 7:23Speaker 8: key to continued blessings. It's the key to the windows
- 7:26Speaker 8: of heaven opening up and pouring out a blessing that
- 7:29Speaker 8: you won't have room enough to receive. It's the appreciation
- 7:33Speaker 8: and gratitude of what you already have, as minimal as.
- 7:38Speaker 2: It may appear to be right now for you, it
- 7:42Speaker 2: is still what you have.
- 7:44Speaker 8: But if you've shown no gratitude for the minimal, why
- 7:52Speaker 8: would he give you the maximum? I mean, I'm just
- 7:55Speaker 8: really just trying to put it real, real, simple, so
- 7:59Speaker 8: I can keep understanding this thing right here.
- 8:02Speaker 2: So let me give you an example.
- 8:03Speaker 8: In my life, I had gotten so busy at one
- 8:07Speaker 8: point that I had began to complain about how busy
- 8:12Speaker 8: I was. This is true because I am busy, but
- 8:18Speaker 8: it ain't the busy part because I asked to be busy.
- 8:22Speaker 8: You know, I asked God to give me opportunities and
- 8:26Speaker 8: to make a way for me. Well, in that you
- 8:28Speaker 8: got to do something, and you got to get busy.
- 8:32Speaker 8: But I began to complain about the busyness and how
- 8:36Speaker 8: busy I was, and I noticed that a couple of
- 8:39Speaker 8: things slowed up for me. So I had got to
- 8:43Speaker 8: the point where I wasn't showing real gratitude for it. Well,
- 8:47Speaker 8: I looked up and a couple of things started slowing down,
- 8:50Speaker 8: and then I had to catch myself and I went, wow, man,
- 8:53Speaker 8: you have got to start embracing the fact that you
- 8:57Speaker 8: are this busy, embrace the fact to what all comes
- 9:01Speaker 8: along with it. Because to whom much is given, much
- 9:03Speaker 8: is required. You gotta start embracing the requirement part if
- 9:08Speaker 8: you want to continue with the giving part.
- 9:11Speaker 2: So I changed my attitude.
- 9:13Speaker 8: I caught myself and I started thinking them and showing
- 9:16Speaker 8: real gratitude for how busy I was instead of complaining
- 9:18Speaker 8: about how busy I was. And then guess what, It
- 9:21Speaker 8: opened up the windows of heaven and some more blessings
- 9:24Speaker 8: got pulled out. It just works that way all the time,
- 9:27Speaker 8: for everybody, for me, for you, for everybody. So listen,
- 9:32Speaker 8: y'all again. Your appreciation and gratitude is the key to
- 9:35Speaker 8: having more. Your appreciation and gratitude is the key to
- 9:39Speaker 8: continued blessings. And your appreciation and gratitude is the only
- 9:43Speaker 8: way that you can get those windows of heaven to
- 9:46Speaker 8: open up and pull out these blessings that you won't
- 9:48Speaker 8: have room enough to receive. You got to act like
- 9:51Speaker 8: you're glad for what you got in order to get more.
- 9:53Speaker 8: You feel me, let's go.

- 15:40Speaker 7: it was last Thursday. I came in to get my
- 15:41Speaker 7: clothes I had dropped off. And uh. Now, now I

- 15:48Speaker 5: Uh huh.
- 15:49Speaker 7: And and when I got home three you know, like
- 15:52Speaker 7: I say, three weeksore. When I got home with that,
- 15:53Speaker 7: with them clothes, I realized I was missing the shop.
- 15:56Speaker 7: And uh and I was like, I don't know, I
- 15:58Speaker 7: don't know where my shirt. I couldn't say. So now
- 16:01Speaker 7: just last week when I came back to pick up
- 16:03Speaker 7: some clothes. Now, and that's what what what you know?
- 16:05Speaker 7: I don't want to raise no no havoc in your
- 16:07Speaker 7: in your store or nothing. But what what I looked
- 16:10Speaker 7: when I looked at you, you was actually putting that
- 16:12Speaker 7: took my money and gave me, gave him a clothes.
- 16:14Speaker 7: But when I when I look closer at you, I
- 16:17Speaker 7: realized you you you actually you actually had on my shirt?
- 16:22Speaker 7: What you had? I had to go on on and
- 16:25Speaker 7: count of ten. I went on out to my car.
- 16:26Speaker 7: I said, I'm not gonna wait and calm down. But
- 16:29Speaker 7: you was actually standing there give me my clothes, but
- 16:33Speaker 7: you had on my shirt too.
- 16:35Speaker 5: Now you bro, you get a guy the twenty Yeah,
- 16:37Speaker 5: he ain't see me in your shirt? I mean, or
- 16:39Speaker 5: what what? What? What have your clothes? You have left
- 16:42Speaker 5: your clothes up here longer than thirty days?
- 16:44Speaker 7: Okay, wait wait wait wait, wait, hold on, hold on,
- 16:46Speaker 7: hold on? What do you what are you saying? If
- 16:48Speaker 7: people leave their stuff longer than thirty days, you start
- 16:50Speaker 7: wearing it now?
- 16:52Speaker 5: Now, hold on, hold on. I ain't want nobody's shirt.
- 16:55Speaker 7: No, no, no, no, I went hold mind, hold on, bro,

- 17:10Speaker 5: I was just saying, because you said that that you
- 17:13Speaker 5: felt like I have your shirt. I ain't want nobody's shirt.
- 17:16Speaker 7: But okay, when you got a money coming there.
- 17:18Speaker 5: You don't tell him to come up missing as if

- 21:28Speaker 3: Coming up?
- 21:29Speaker 1: It is asked the c l O, our Chief Love Officer,
- 21:32Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building right after this you're listening
- 21:35Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Think about the people
- 21:43Speaker 1: who mean the most to you. Giving them valuable protection
- 21:46Speaker 1: is a great gift you can offer, and Globe Life
- 21:49Speaker 1: Insurance can make it easy. With Globe Life coverage, there's
- 21:52Speaker 1: no medical exam, just a simple application. Take this step
- 21:56Speaker 1: for the people you love. Called Globe Life at one
- 21:59Speaker 1: eight hundred two fifty four hundred, or visit globelifradio dot com.
- 22:04Speaker 1: That's one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred
- 22:07Speaker 1: or globelifradio dot com coming up at the top of
- 22:10Speaker 1: the hour and trending in headline news. We have a
- 22:13Speaker 1: lot of entertainment news for you as well. But right
- 22:17Speaker 1: now it is time to ask the CLO our Chief
- 22:20Speaker 1: Love Officer, Steve Harvey. This one's from Evet in Columbus. Colo.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Evet writes, my husband thinks my child support check should
- 22:29Speaker 1: go to our joint account instead of an account that
- 22:32Speaker 1: me and my daughters share. He thinks that money should
- 22:35Speaker 1: go towards her daily needs instead of saving it to
- 22:38Speaker 1: get her a cart when the time comes. Why do
- 22:41Speaker 1: I have to fight him over my child support money?
- 22:44Speaker 8: Well, to me, you both have a valid point. I
- 22:49Speaker 8: think both of you have a valid point because the
- 22:52Speaker 8: child support should cover them links of a child.
- 22:56Speaker 2: That's what is set up to do.
- 22:59Speaker 8: The fact that you've decided to take the money and
- 23:01Speaker 8: set it aside to buy a car, And I think,
- 23:05Speaker 8: I think you're ignoring the fact that your new husband
- 23:08Speaker 8: is taking on the care of the the of your daughter.
- 23:14Speaker 8: And I think when you when you put it to
- 23:16Speaker 8: this man like this, you're ignoring the fact that he
- 23:20Speaker 8: has taken on that responsibility at that liability and he's
- 23:25Speaker 8: just done it rather willingly. But he would like for
- 23:29Speaker 8: the child support to go to the needs of the child.
- 23:32Speaker 8: He has a very very valid point. Now, I also
- 23:35Speaker 8: understand why you say is your child support, but it's
- 23:41Speaker 8: it's really not because when you look, when you say
- 23:46Speaker 8: it like that, you've ignored the efforts of this.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Other man to me, dismissed. Yeah, that's what I think.
- 23:53Speaker 8: Yeah, you're right, You've just dismissed his effort to stand
- 23:57Speaker 8: up and love this child and do for this child
- 24:00Speaker 8: as his own. And then you're gonna say, well, uh uh,
- 24:04Speaker 8: appreciate all that. You keep doing what you're doing, but
- 24:07Speaker 8: I'm gonna take this money he's sending up and I'm
- 24:09Speaker 8: gonna set it over here for.
- 24:10Speaker 1: A car for her because she will need a car eventually.
- 24:14Speaker 1: But yeah, what about the day to day?
- 24:16Speaker 2: He said, But you've just made that decision on your own. Yeah,
- 24:20Speaker 2: and you're married now, yep, yep.
- 24:23Speaker 8: But this man right here that you married, that puts
- 24:25Speaker 8: the money in the joint account. He don't get to
- 24:27Speaker 8: dictate where every dollar go. But now you've decided that
- 24:31Speaker 8: you can. That don't sound right, ma'am to me.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Mom selfish, Yeah, all right, thank you, Cila. Moving on
- 24:40Speaker 1: to Jerleine and Raleigh, Jerlene writes, I heard my husband
- 24:44Speaker 1: on the phone laughing it up with a coworker. He
- 24:47Speaker 1: never told me there's a new girl at work. I
- 24:50Speaker 1: asked about her, and he said, she's a country bumpkin
- 24:53Speaker 1: with a bad body. I looked her up and she's
- 24:56Speaker 1: very beautiful and slim. So why would he lie to
- 24:59Speaker 1: me and make it look like he's up to something?
- 25:02Speaker 2: He didn't.
- 25:03Speaker 8: He told you she was a country bumpkin with a
- 25:06Speaker 8: bad body, and you looked up and she's beautiful and
- 25:13Speaker 8: and with a banging body.
- 25:15Speaker 2: He said she had a bad body.
- 25:18Speaker 11: Oh bad, he told you that.
- 25:41Speaker 12: Some kind of laughing at home, laughing?
- 25:52Speaker 9: Say what now?
- 25:58Speaker 1: What's going on on the other And Steve, what's going
- 26:01Speaker 1: on on the other hand, what is he laughing about?
- 26:07Speaker 2: I'm just over here.
- 26:08Speaker 8: I can't believe way, hold on, hold on one yeah,
- 26:11Speaker 8: you ready to take care of that in a minute.
- 26:13Speaker 8: Don't worry about it. I just don't do whatever you're
- 26:16Speaker 8: gonna do. Okay, all right, what are you talking?
- 26:20Speaker 2: I'm what what?
- 26:22Speaker 7: What?
- 26:26Speaker 13: That were?
- 26:26Speaker 5: Great?
- 26:34Speaker 3: Oh?
- 26:34Speaker 6: You so male?
- 26:36Speaker 1: So funny?
- 26:40Speaker 8: All right, hang hold on, I gotta hang up. Let
- 26:43Speaker 8: me go on in here.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Wow, all right, moving on, Thank you? That was great, Steve.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Moving on to Lani in Greenville. We love a good.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Lennie and Greenville writes, I leave my phone lying around,
- 27:04Speaker 1: and I never thought my wife would touch it today.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Most of my texts are new to me, but they've
- 27:10Speaker 1: already been read. My wife cried and acted a fool
- 27:14Speaker 1: when I confronted her about reading them. Is she guilty?
- 27:19Speaker 1: Hell yeah, every.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Last one of them. She read all of it.
- 27:31Speaker 1: But if he's leaving it around, there must not be
- 27:35Speaker 1: two damaging of text messages that have come through.
- 27:38Speaker 8: It wasn't it wasn't that what she crying for. She
- 27:44Speaker 8: had busted him, and now he busted up. I'm not
- 27:52Speaker 8: even changing because I thought you had missed me.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I only want you to miss that.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Yeah, that was good. That was good.
- 28:03Speaker 13: I'll put out and crying and be back by Wow.
- 28:09Speaker 6: Wow.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Shout out to Lonnie Lannie for just leaving his phone
- 28:12Speaker 1: lying around you guys, do you do that.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Right, Steve? Yeah all the time.

- 28:20Speaker 1: to say any names. Nephew around.
- 28:23Speaker 13: Yeah, you have your phone on you or whereund the house?
- 28:29Speaker 2: In the shower.

- 28:51Speaker 1: You're not You're not like Lannie. All right? Moving on,
- 28:56Speaker 1: Moving on to last one. Steve Ella in Rockville Alla writes,
- 29:01Speaker 1: our bedroom needs to be cold when I'm sleep, and
- 29:05Speaker 1: my husband respected that until recently, when he started putting
- 29:09Speaker 1: his leg across me and wedging his body against mine.
- 29:13Speaker 1: He said, it's because he's cold. He's missing the point. Yeah,
- 29:17Speaker 1: he's missing the point of the air being on sixty degrees.
- 29:20Speaker 1: How do I get him to stay on his side
- 29:22Speaker 1: of the bed. She's hot, he's cold.
- 29:25Speaker 2: That's sixty man. Something else?

- 29:36Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 29:36Speaker 1: She the wife. She said it needs to be cold
- 29:38Speaker 1: when she's asleep, but her husband.
- 29:40Speaker 2: No, that's all our wives feel that way.
- 29:44Speaker 13: Don't touch the thumb set. I don't know why this
- 29:47Speaker 13: is so hard for him alone.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Put my clothes, extra blanket.
- 29:52Speaker 8: On, behalf of tommy, myself and your husband. Tash, Julie,
- 30:00Speaker 8: we don't have hell.

- 30:12Speaker 2: Surprise he got had on now.
- 30:18Speaker 9: I didn't know where you were going with the older behaved.

- 30:32Speaker 1: listening Harvey Morning Show. Our prayers remain with the loved
- 30:40Speaker 1: ones and the community in Shreveport. In the aftermath of
- 30:43Speaker 1: the tragic events involving Shamar Elkins, authorities have confirmed that Elkins,
- 30:48Speaker 1: a veteran of the Louisiana National Guard, allegedly took the
- 30:52Speaker 1: lives of eight children, seven of whom were his own.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Elkins was fatally shot by police after a pursuit. The
- 31:00Speaker 1: investigation is on going. Wow yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, And
- 31:08Speaker 1: we're gonna switch gears here with some good news. President
- 31:11Speaker 1: Obama and New York City Mayor Mandami uh made a
- 31:15Speaker 1: joint appearance at a Bronx preschool. They reread to the children,
- 31:19Speaker 1: they sang a rendition of the song The Wheels on
- 31:21Speaker 1: the Bus. This was a notable demonstration of leadership, as
- 31:25Speaker 1: stated in a news release from the Mayor's office. The
- 31:28Speaker 1: two leaders also conferred on the Mayor's vision for New
- 31:31Speaker 1: York City and the significance of early childhood education. So
- 31:36Speaker 1: there you go. What the wheels on the bus go
- 31:43Speaker 1: round and round round and you never heard that?
- 31:49Speaker 2: Ant we sang? We sang that in high school when
- 31:52Speaker 2: the other team came and.

- 31:58Speaker 14: not gonna help you get away, help you get away?
- 32:01Speaker 2: And they're not gonna help you get away. We're gonna
- 32:08Speaker 2: turn it over with you in it like Cleveland. That's Cleveland.
- 32:14Speaker 2: That's wheels on the bus y' always say.
- 32:22Speaker 3: And the kids.
- 32:24Speaker 8: I was wondering, why would they be singing that to
- 32:26Speaker 8: the kids, because that's the one we sang. And I
- 32:28Speaker 8: don't I known you seem like Obama would have better
- 32:31Speaker 8: judgment than that Donald his song.
- 32:35Speaker 1: You didn't know where the song came from? Okay, yes, yeah,
- 32:38Speaker 1: I told him the same one we sang.
- 32:40Speaker 2: The wheels on the bus and not gonna help.
- 32:42Speaker 15: Hero, not gonna help you get whels on the bus,
- 32:49Speaker 15: They're not gonna help you get away because we're gonna
- 32:52Speaker 15: turn it over with you win.
- 32:53Speaker 13: It said to the competing school, Wow, sports, is that what?
- 33:00Speaker 6: Hell?
- 33:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 33:05Speaker 1: All right, I'm glad that didn't have to happen. Finally,
- 33:10Speaker 1: in entertainment news. Rihanna isn't here for the pregnancy rumors.
- 33:14Speaker 1: After a fan suggested she might be expecting again, she
- 33:17Speaker 1: jumped into the comments with quote, is the baby in
- 33:20Speaker 1: the womb with us? Is the baby in the.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Womb with us?
- 33:24Speaker 1: Okay, she's shutting down the speculation instantly. So listen, guys,
- 33:30Speaker 1: here's a question. Why are people just so obsessed with celebrities?
- 33:35Speaker 1: I mean that much?
- 33:40Speaker 2: You a person to hear from heim?
- 33:43Speaker 9: Oh, I'll tell you what. I don't want to Steve.
- 33:47Speaker 9: I'm not into her life like that.

- 34:06Speaker 1: No, well that's because of your personal relationship though, right yeah.
- 34:11Speaker 13: Liberty, Yeah yeah, but you know him. Celebrities that you
- 34:15Speaker 13: don't know. No person concerned about me alone.
- 34:18Speaker 9: That's it.
- 34:21Speaker 1: I'm all of that now, she said last week. People
- 34:23Speaker 1: talk too much?
- 34:24Speaker 9: You remember, That's fine, I do. I talked for a living.
- 34:27Speaker 9: I want to talk to her. You need a conversation, JR.

- 35:50Speaker 9: I can't see you, and I just want to talk
- 35:51Speaker 9: to you. And they really talk about some things in
- 35:53Speaker 9: their life that you really helped them with or made
- 35:55Speaker 9: a moment for him. That's the great part about being selected.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Making a difference.
- 36:00Speaker 9: Please, yeah, making it. I like that part about being selected.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Yeah, like in your walk when you had that happen

- 38:05Speaker 1: are starting to disappear. Fewer teens are working than they
- 38:09Speaker 1: did decades ago, and it's not just about motivation. A
- 38:14Speaker 1: mix of factors is reshaping how young people earn money
- 38:19Speaker 1: from busier academic schedules and sports commitments. So instead of
- 38:23Speaker 1: clocking in somewhere where traditional teens are getting creative, now
- 38:29Speaker 1: they're reselling clothes online, they're walking dogs, they're trying to

- 39:05Speaker 8: My brothers feel the form out for me. My brother
- 39:11Speaker 8: was eleven years older than me, so he would lie.
- 39:13Speaker 8: He helped me, he introduce me to lie.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Blame it on him.
- 39:20Speaker 2: And thank god for him, Thank God for him.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Okay, you didn't feel any kind of way when you
- 39:30Speaker 1: started lying, I mean that it wasn't right or anything.
- 39:32Speaker 1: You felt good about it when you were a kid.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I thought I thought it fit right
- 39:39Speaker 2: in I felt you know, it just felt like such
- 39:43Speaker 2: a natural progression. Yeah.
- 39:47Speaker 8: I mean just think about your marriage. I mean, what
- 39:51Speaker 8: how long it lasted because of live? Even if it ended,
- 39:55Speaker 8: it would have ended so much sooner had you not lied.
- 40:01Speaker 13: But if it ends because of a lie, then what Yeah,
- 40:05Speaker 13: that's over that line.
- 40:07Speaker 1: No good.
- 40:08Speaker 2: We gotta get better at this though. It's a skill
- 40:11Speaker 2: set with the lies.

- 41:13Speaker 1: beef with a friend. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 41:19Speaker 16: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:26Speaker 1: A long standing feud between Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley
- 41:30Speaker 1: reportedly began several years ago. According to Sports Illustrated, the
- 41:34Speaker 1: beef originated back in twenty twelve, when Barkley publicly expressed
- 41:38Speaker 1: his disapproval of Michael Jordan's management of the Charlotte Hornets.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Michael Jordan was displeased with Barkley's criticism, which led to
- 41:46Speaker 1: the breakdown of their friendship. Barkley, however, defended his comments
- 41:50Speaker 1: as a professional evaluation. It now appears that the two
- 41:54Speaker 1: are seeking to reconcile, with Barkley suggesting a potential golf
- 41:59Speaker 1: outing in the near future. So there you go there
- 42:02Speaker 1: on the way to make up.
- 42:04Speaker 8: So long, I ain't even know they wouldn't you know that? No,
- 42:10Speaker 8: I ain't know that.

- 47:50Speaker 6: I just want to give you a courtesy call your daughter.
- 47:52Speaker 6: You've got her signed up for four weeks with the camp,

- 47:59Speaker 6: being a.
- 47:59Speaker 17: Part of the YEP and she's really excited. She loves
- 48:02Speaker 17: coming to the camp and we think it's a great
- 48:04Speaker 17: thing for her to be involved in.
- 48:06Speaker 5: What's up?
- 48:07Speaker 6: Okay, you guys just finished the whole cheerleading season too,

- 48:21Speaker 6: a little bit. Like I said, I'm the new camp director.
- 48:23Speaker 6: I was just starting at this job. I got a
- 48:26Speaker 6: few notes that were given to me about so I
- 48:31Speaker 6: wanted to give you a call and see if I
- 48:33Speaker 6: could talk.
- 48:33Speaker 2: To you about it.
- 48:34Speaker 6: A few notes giving you about Yeah, just a couple

- 48:38Speaker 6: make sure is okay?
- 48:39Speaker 17: What kind of notes?
- 48:41Speaker 6: Well, it's been brought to my attention that some of
- 48:43Speaker 6: the parents whose daughters are out there as well, there's
- 48:45Speaker 6: going to be there this summer a little concerned about
- 48:49Speaker 6: her being on top of the pyramid, that she's is
- 48:54Speaker 6: a little bit heavy. Should she wait?
- 48:58Speaker 17: Wait, wait, wait.
- 48:59Speaker 6: Hol hold home.
- 49:00Speaker 17: You calling me about some some other pairs and said

- 49:18Speaker 17: already take my money? And what you say? Your name
- 49:21Speaker 17: is Chips and how long have you been in director,
- 49:24Speaker 17: because I was just up there two weeks ago and
- 49:26Speaker 17: they told me that she was gonna be the same
- 49:29Speaker 17: position that she was last year because that is what worked,
- 49:32Speaker 17: that's the formation that works.
- 49:33Speaker 5: So I don't even know what well.
- 49:35Speaker 6: Supposedly that some of the girls are complaining that she's
- 49:38Speaker 6: too heavy to hold up, so that seems to be
- 49:40Speaker 6: the problem in there. They're not getting a strong enough
- 49:42Speaker 6: to your men. And I'm now, wait a.
- 49:44Speaker 17: Minute, wait a minute, I know, well, she ain't the

- 50:08Speaker 6: Is it Carris Man. I'm not gonna state who it is,
- 50:11Speaker 6: but let's.
- 50:11Speaker 17: Just say it was several Oh, Paris has got something
- 50:15Speaker 17: to say about my child and her position on the
- 50:18Speaker 17: cheerleading squad. Because if you ain't gonna puk up no name,
- 50:21Speaker 17: then I'm gonna say what you're calling me about. I'll
- 50:23Speaker 17: tell you one thing. When she get out there, I
- 50:25Speaker 17: done paid my money. She better not be on no base.
- 50:28Speaker 17: She better be in the air. I guarantee you that.
- 50:31Speaker 17: Right now I've been hanging with you, ain't nobody said
- 50:35Speaker 17: nothing to me about in her way and all this.
- 50:38Speaker 6: Okay, Angela, can you hear me? I just wanted you
- 50:40Speaker 6: to hear me clearly. I haven't seen these young ladies yet.
- 50:43Speaker 6: Once I see them, I will critique what I think.
- 50:46Speaker 17: You don't even need to be calling me because you
- 50:48Speaker 17: ain't even seen nothing. So you calling me with something.
- 50:50Speaker 17: He says, she's from some other parents that's been skinned
- 50:53Speaker 17: and grinted in my face, and they now wanted you
- 50:55Speaker 17: to say nothing to me. They'd have been in my house.
- 50:57Speaker 17: We didn't have parties always here. This cokis here every
- 51:00Speaker 17: weekend another day, and they couldn't say nothing to me
- 51:02Speaker 17: about my baby. I tell you what, why don't you
- 51:05Speaker 17: call your girls on the three way? Mister Chip? If
- 51:08Speaker 17: you can't call them on the three I got the numbers.
- 51:11Speaker 17: I call him on the three way.
- 51:13Speaker 5: Okay, okay, man.

- 51:27Speaker 17: to bet on that, mister.
- 51:28Speaker 6: Chip, Look, you gonna quit holler at me. And I
- 51:31Speaker 6: told you I would try to take a look at
- 51:33Speaker 6: these girls. But I'll tell you what your thought. Is
- 51:35Speaker 6: going to be a face or she's going to be
- 51:36Speaker 6: a back support. Whichever I decide, she's going to do
- 51:39Speaker 6: cool in them.
- 51:40Speaker 17: Do you think you holling that, mister Chip. No, that's
- 51:46Speaker 17: not how it's gonna go down as a matter of fact.

- 56:48Speaker 1: Let us all right, nephew, thank you. Subjects. She may
- 56:51Speaker 1: have changed too much for me. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 56:54Speaker 1: a fifty nine year old single man and I've been
- 56:57Speaker 1: divorced for two months. As soon as the divorce was final,
- 57:01Speaker 1: I called my ex girlfriend to tell her that it
- 57:03Speaker 1: was cool to call me again. I told her all
- 57:06Speaker 1: about the drama with my divorce, and she told me
- 57:09Speaker 1: that she's been focusing on herself and hasn't been dating.
- 57:12Speaker 1: She got a divorce two years ago, so she was
- 57:15Speaker 1: excited by the possibility of us getting back together. She
- 57:19Speaker 1: lives about two hours away, so I was eager to
- 57:22Speaker 1: see her. She explained to me how she's not the
- 57:24Speaker 1: woman I used to know. She told me she's on
- 57:27Speaker 1: a health kick and she enjoys yoga and hiking. I
- 57:31Speaker 1: can't imagine this woman working out or going for long walks.
- 57:35Speaker 1: But I was interested to see how I could fit
- 57:37Speaker 1: into her new lifestyle. I would love to be more
- 57:41Speaker 1: athletic since I'm getting an old man body from the
- 57:44Speaker 1: stress and bad eating after my divorce. So I went
- 57:48Speaker 1: to visit her as a surprise. The old Trina that
- 57:51Speaker 1: I knew loved surprises, but she was not happy when
- 57:55Speaker 1: I told her I was in her city. She made
- 57:57Speaker 1: me wait until the next day to see her. When
- 58:00Speaker 1: we met for breakfast, she was unrecognizable. She had been
- 58:04Speaker 1: on a weight loss medicine, and she wears her hair
- 58:08Speaker 1: in a short, curly afro type of style. My heart
- 58:11Speaker 1: sank because I love big girls, not necessarily fat, but
- 58:16Speaker 1: full figured women. She lost a lot of weight and
- 58:20Speaker 1: her personality. All she talked about was counting cards and
- 58:24Speaker 1: working out and buying clothes and showing off her new body.
- 58:27Speaker 1: I'm happy for her, but she is so different. She
- 58:31Speaker 1: also didn't want to have reunion sex, which is also
- 58:35Speaker 1: not like the Trina. I know she wants us to
- 58:37Speaker 1: get back together, but she's changed too much for me.
- 58:41Speaker 1: Should I keep an open mind? Should you keep an
- 58:44Speaker 1: open mind? You ask no, because she's really not what
- 58:48Speaker 1: you want anymore. I mean, really though, I just think
- 58:51Speaker 1: you're trying to get over your recent divorce. She's changed
- 58:55Speaker 1: too much for you, and you don't like or appreciate
- 58:58Speaker 1: where she is in her life right now. I mean,
- 59:00Speaker 1: just admit it. You said you're happy for her, but
- 59:03Speaker 1: it kind of doesn't sound like it. Okay, this health
- 59:06Speaker 1: kick you call it, which includes yoga and hiking. I
- 59:10Speaker 1: don't know what went on when you guys were together,
- 59:12Speaker 1: but you said you can't imagine her working out or
- 59:15Speaker 1: going for long walks. You also said you would love
- 59:18Speaker 1: to be more athletic. You're getting a dad body now.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Plus you said you love big girls, and she's lost
- 59:25Speaker 1: so much weight she was unrecognizable to you. You had
- 59:29Speaker 1: all these expectations of her in your head, but none
- 59:32Speaker 1: of them panned out. She made you wait. You didn't
- 59:35Speaker 1: like that you couldn't surprise her, no reunion sex. You
- 59:38Speaker 1: didn't like that, you didn't like her hair, You don't
- 59:40Speaker 1: like her conversation. All she talked about was herself. She
- 59:44Speaker 1: already told you she's not the woman she used to be,
- 59:47Speaker 1: And I gotta ask you, are you sure she said
- 59:50Speaker 1: she wants you back? Because this is not a match.
- 59:54Speaker 1: So again, no, I don't think you should keep an
- 59:56Speaker 1: open mind. You're stuck in the past, and I don't
- 59:59Speaker 1: think you as would be good together.
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: Right now, Steve, this letter is about a fat man
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: that has to finally face it. Sorry are you? I'm
- 1:00:12Speaker 8: just the person you should have wrote though. Thank you
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: so much for writing the letter. Opens well, she may
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: have changed too much for me. Dear Steve and Shirley.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Right up.
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: See, I know all of what he going through, the divorce,
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: all that. I'm here for your man, So now let's go.
- 1:00:32Speaker 8: I'm a fifty nine year old single man and I've
- 1:00:34Speaker 8: been divorced for two months. As soon as divorce was final,
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: I call my ex girlfriend to tell.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: It was cool to call me again.
- 1:00:41Speaker 8: Right here, this is a letter he gets divorced and
- 1:00:47Speaker 8: after two months, soon as the divorce was final, I
- 1:00:52Speaker 8: call my ex girlfriend to tell it was cool to
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: call me again. You know what, cause I don't think
- 1:00:57Speaker 8: anybody else wanted That's the last time he remembered it.
- 1:01:00Speaker 8: Anybody wanting him was his ex girlfriend.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: That's the last time.
- 1:01:06Speaker 8: He ain't got no new prospects on the horizon while
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: he was married or nothing.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: You know why, y'all need to know that.
- 1:01:15Speaker 8: If for anybody that's thinking about calling it right in
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: here and talking about.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: I'm shaming, save your breath. Save your breath.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: You don't think something.
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: I'm just responding to the letter from the fat man. Well,
- 1:01:30Speaker 8: when he called his ex, told her all about the
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: drama he had with in his voice. She told me
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: in essence, well, I'm different. I've been focusing on myself,
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: you know, and that she ain't been dating. She got
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: a divorce two years ago. Now, when she got divorced,
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: she ain't call you cause she remember what you was
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: when y'all was date. And if you look into the letter,
- 1:02:02Speaker 8: there's a reason why she didn't call you. She lives
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: about two hours away, so I was eager to go
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: see her.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: People always eager, always.
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: To do something they ain't and it's usually to go
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: get something to eat. He don't mind driving because he
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: get to sit down the whole time. Driving is not half.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: It's not all right.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: Move on, No, Shirley, you don't tell me what to
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: move on.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: You are fat shaming.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: Move on.
- 1:02:35Speaker 8: You have to you have to read these letters the
- 1:02:38Speaker 8: right way. See it explains why he's typing like this,
- 1:02:44Speaker 8: like what she explained to.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Me, that she's now not the woman I used to know.
- 1:02:48Speaker 8: He ses setting him up for the reason why she
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: ain't called him, and she been divorced.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: For two years.
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: We come back, I'm gonna tell you what it is,
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: because she's on the health kick.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll have part two of your response.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: We're gonna find out one to you when we come.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Back three minutes after the hour. The subject is she
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: may have changed too much for me. We'll get back
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Think about the people who mean the most to you.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Giving them valuable protection is a great gift you can offer,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: and Globe Life Insurance can make it easy. With Globe
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Life coverage, there's no medical exam, just a simple application.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Take this step for the people you love. Call Globe

- 1:03:38Speaker 1: or visit globelifradio dot com. That's one eight hundred two
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: five one fifty four hundred or globelifradio dot com. All right,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: she may have changed too much for me?
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: Folks, let me pre empt this with a little of disclaimer.
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: This letter is not about fat people. This letter is
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: about this man that wrote this letter. Okay, so I'm
- 1:04:05Speaker 8: just talking about him. If you're sitting over there and
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: you're dealing with some issues, I'm not talking to you.
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: I got some issues going on myself with my weight,
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: but I'm talking about fat boy here, and I'm doing
- 1:04:18Speaker 8: it with no apologies.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: Let us speak in he saidy nine years, only been
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: divorced for two months.
- 1:04:23Speaker 8: As soon as he got divorced, he called his ex
- 1:04:25Speaker 8: girlfriend to let her know that it was cool for
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: her to call him. Now, she been divorced for two
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: years and she has not called him in the time
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: she been divorced.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Well, let's find out why.
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: She told me that she's been focusing on herself and
- 1:04:40Speaker 8: she ain't been dating. A couple of years ago, she
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: got a divorced and I was excited about the possibility
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: of us getting back together.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Oh okay, are you now well?
- 1:04:52Speaker 8: Pump you brave boy, cause we got to read the
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: rest of this letter first.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: She explained to me over the phone. She said, Hey,
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: listen to me, I'm not the woman you used to know.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: You don't know that to be the case stop rockets.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Gave it to it.
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: A lot of people don't put stuff in the letter
- 1:05:12Speaker 8: that I know, and I know he had a nickname. Anyway,
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: she's on a health kick now and she enjoys yoga
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: and hiking. Let me tell you why me and don't
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: like yoga too much bending over and when you have
- 1:05:27Speaker 8: that stomach on you and you're being over, you want.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: To throw up.
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: So yoga is not for him. And hiking ain't no
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: where that and it ain't paved.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: Either, you know. And then your ankle.
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: You gotta have ankle stability when you go hiking because
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: you step it on rocks and in previces and stuff.
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: And you can't be a fat man and let that
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: ankle go one way and that body is over there
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: on that other side.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: You finna go down the hill. Dog, you ain't gonna
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: lie to you. We don't go hiking.
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: I can't imagine this woman working out or going on
- 1:05:59Speaker 8: long walk. Let's translate that. I can't have imagine myself
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: going for a long walk all working out. I would
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: love to be more athletic, since I'm getting an old
- 1:06:12Speaker 8: man body from distress and bad eating after my divorce. Wait, man,
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: hold of dog. You said, you're developing a man body
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: of fifty nine. Listen to the Leonard, But I'm telling
- 1:06:24Speaker 8: you what he wrote, from the stress and bad eating
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: after my divorce. He only been divorced too much. You
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: been had this old man body. Don't put this on
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: the divorce. This is one of the reasons you getting
- 1:06:40Speaker 8: a vorce. You ain't put that in there. See, you
- 1:06:44Speaker 8: didn't get you ain't getting a divorce because you cheated
- 1:06:46Speaker 8: on this woman. That come on, that ain't that ain't
- 1:06:49Speaker 8: what this is fault. She got tired of you. It's
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: hard to lay in the bed with a fat dude
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: because when he lay on the mattress, it rolls you
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: to the middle, and it's hot and you automatically get
- 1:07:02Speaker 8: pulled into the middle of the month shop business. Yeah,
- 1:07:05Speaker 8: because at the end of that message, go up on
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: one side. The little lady get you anyway, what's happening?
- 1:07:12Speaker 8: So I went to visit her as a surprise, the
- 1:07:15Speaker 8: old Trina that I know love.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Surprise. Well, she can't tell you she ain't the same no.
- 1:07:21Speaker 8: More, but she know you were. But she was not
- 1:07:25Speaker 8: happy when I told her I was in her city.
- 1:07:27Speaker 8: What that's called Trina got Trina got some activity going
- 1:07:31Speaker 8: on in her city.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Man, you just can't roll up on Trina. Treata busy.
- 1:07:35Speaker 8: Now, Trena dodn't change, And but you don't know we
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: changed in this letter until the next few lines. But
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: Trena doesn't change. She done told you she into yoga
- 1:07:46Speaker 8: and long walks. Traina done got stat treta open here
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: so fine?
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Whoa reto god on own?
- 1:07:56Speaker 8: Yeah, honor Trina. Trina had to get another phone. Trina busy. Man,
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: she made me wait until the next day to see her.
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: When we met for breakfast. See this another thing. They
- 1:08:12Speaker 8: all hes gotta go somewhere and eat. They ain't need
- 1:08:15Speaker 8: at the coffee shop. No, he got these some wad
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: that got a full breakfast, and he wasn't at the
- 1:08:19Speaker 8: Chili's full of breakfast two for thirty. He the waffle
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: house on the keep at ninety nine all you can heat,
- 1:08:29Speaker 8: and he's sitting in there with four. She was unrecognizable.
- 1:08:34Speaker 8: She had been on the weight loss medicine and she
- 1:08:37Speaker 8: wears her hair in a short, curly afro for style.
- 1:08:40Speaker 8: My heart sank because I love big girls, because you
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: gotta match up big men like big women.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Not necessarily fat but full figure women. Well, here we
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: go again. Anyway, she lost a lot of weight in
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: her personality.
- 1:08:57Speaker 8: Nah, I think she found herself all she talked about
- 1:09:00Speaker 8: counting cabs and working out and buying clothes and showing
- 1:09:02Speaker 8: off her new body. That's why treated wasn't didn't want
- 1:09:05Speaker 8: you to come down because a lot of people like
- 1:09:07Speaker 8: treating a new body, treos killing the game, treating killing
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: the game. She also didn't want to have reunion six,
- 1:09:16Speaker 8: not with choke.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Huh.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: But a woman don't get in shape to go find fat.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: People call you this.
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: She wants us to get back together, but she's changed
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: too much. She ain't said nothing about getting back together
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: with you. She just told you she didn't want to
- 1:09:31Speaker 8: have reunion sex. She don't have no kind of sex.
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: She not.
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: Keep an open mind, keep.
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: Your refrigerator over like you've always been doing. You, keep

- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Thank you, Junior. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: a woman on social media needs some advice keep the
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: prize or cash out. That's where she wants to know.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show CEB on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: Wright.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: I recently won a car through a local casino promotion,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: and it's definitely nicer than what I'm driving now. I
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: still owe about five thousand dollars on my current car,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: which still has a lot of life left in it.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: I'd have to pay taxes on the new one, and
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: I don't have much in savings, so the only way
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: I could cover that would be to sell my current car,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: and then I'd basically be breaking even. The other option
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: is to sell the new car, pay off what I owe,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: and end up with a couple thousand left over. So
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: what do you think would you keep the upgrade and
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: make it work or take the safer route and use
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: this to get out of debt and build a little cushion.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: So that's the question, such as car firnt. What that's
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: the one I.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Get him, Tommy, get your uncle.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: You know about five thousand on your old car.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Yes, you don't want a new current car. Yeah, it's
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: better than don't want your time up. Yeah, it's definitely
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: nicer than the one he's driving now. He said, No,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: you don't know.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Nobody can come get that car.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: No, we are not glorifying criminal activity on this show's legal.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: What are you talking about illegal?
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: You don't want to go to jail.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: He just wanted you don't have to go to jail.
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: Don't you don't know?
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: You no shop shop?
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: No, no he does not. He's asking you get your car,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: have it down.
- 1:15:48Speaker 8: In pieces, and sell the pieces to the insurance company.
- 1:15:52Speaker 8: You get to listen to me.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: No, no, we're not listening.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: No you're wrong. Then don't you all listen? Let him listen.
- 1:16:00Speaker 8: Halfway home and steal the car, port the corstole, having
- 1:16:05Speaker 8: the range, go right over to the chop shop. Chop shot,
- 1:16:07Speaker 8: don break the car down. Chop shops sell the parts
- 1:16:10Speaker 8: to the This is the legal part. They sell the
- 1:16:13Speaker 8: car parts to the insurance company. You cut a deal
- 1:16:17Speaker 8: with them where you get half of that money and
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: you get to pay the car off because of the
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: car insurance cover the theft not up two thousand.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: Then you pay the taxes on the new car you
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: got to ride.
- 1:16:31Speaker 11: About.
- 1:16:33Speaker 13: No no, no, no no.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: And you can use that for bail money because you're going.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: For your lawyer.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: Why would you go to jail.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Because it's illegal what you just said?
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: Right now?
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Listen to me. First of all, no.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: New questions.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: You would have to catch the thief that stole the car.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: No, you can give him some constructive critics. Nothing nothing illegal. Pleasecribe.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: Shut up, you boy.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: That's a tough wa certain.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I guess you're all right. I'm moving on.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: Because no, no, no, let me, let me just go.
- 1:17:16Speaker 8: I guess you're gonna have to well terrible, Well you
- 1:17:20Speaker 8: could be upside down, but you have to pay the
- 1:17:22Speaker 8: taxes and you don't have a lot sould you want
- 1:17:25Speaker 8: the card to casino? Hear what I think you should do?
- 1:17:29Speaker 8: Take your car this is legal, Sell it to commacs
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: that's legal. Get whatever you can get for the car.
- 1:17:37Speaker 8: On Commas before the next payment is due. Take the
- 1:17:42Speaker 8: check that you got from Commacs back to the same
- 1:17:46Speaker 8: casino that you want a calient because that's where you
- 1:17:49Speaker 8: hot take.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Your money from your car, get double your money, don't
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: taxi Now you up him.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: Way.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: That was completely legal.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Because that's where you hid commades by call. So you
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: want him to either steal the car or gamble.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: Wow, Okay, there is no win without risk. Something has
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: to be done with risks.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I took a risk in asking you to help
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: this man.
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: Hand right now, you're gonna take the.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Yeah to give this his fall. You're listening to the
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys, your summer cookout menu
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: is about to change. Where's the beef. Beef prices in

- 1:19:08Speaker 1: year with yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, with ground beef
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: averaging around six dollars and seventy cents a pound and
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: steaks pushing nearly thirteen dollars a pound. Okay, that's where
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: we are right now.
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: With all of this, the.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: USDA expects beef prices to climb another ten percent before
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: the end of this year, with some experts warning high
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: prices could stick around until next year.

- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Right, yeah, yeah, averaging, yes close.
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: A quarter pounding is one fourth of that.
- 1:19:51Speaker 8: So technically you would think you would be able to
- 1:19:54Speaker 8: make four quarter pounders out of a pound of burger,
- 1:19:57Speaker 8: but due to shrinkage, you only go get three phone

- 1:25:48Speaker 1: What Why do you say that?
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: Though?

- 1:25:52Speaker 2: Cause it's hard, man. You have to It's everything you
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: had to We had to redo everything.
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: You have to have.
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: You have to reconsider everything. Thing. When you drop something,
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: do I really want it that bad?
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: Just kick it out?
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: If something is upstairs, do I really really need it?
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: Right now? We can? I wait?
- 1:26:15Speaker 8: If the elevator is out and you got an appointment?
- 1:26:18Speaker 8: Who is upstairs waiting on me?
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: Got you?
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: Got you?
- 1:26:22Speaker 9: Got you?
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: All right?
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, you got it.
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: Anybody else, come on, all right, I got one.
- 1:26:29Speaker 13: What's the best advice you can give a twenty year old?
- 1:26:35Speaker 13: Best advice?
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: Follow your dreams?
- 1:26:39Speaker 8: Okay, don't chase a degree, really, don't chase fame or fortune.
- 1:26:45Speaker 8: Follow your dreams. That's all I can tell you, man,
- 1:26:50Speaker 8: because that's what you're gonna end up wanting to do. Anyway.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: I don't care who you are.
- 1:26:54Speaker 8: When you end up somewhere you don't want to be,
- 1:26:56Speaker 8: it's gonna be because you didn't try to follow your dreams.
- 1:27:00Speaker 8: You're gonna mess around and get yourself in a position
- 1:27:01Speaker 8: where you feel like you can't follow your dreams and
- 1:27:04Speaker 8: you're gonna have a miserable existence.
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: Don't do that to yourself.
- 1:27:07Speaker 9: Next question, Junior, Okay, your opinion on the state of
- 1:27:10Speaker 9: comedy today.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: I think it has changed dramatically and drastically.
- 1:27:16Speaker 8: I don't see out there on the horizon those stand
- 1:27:19Speaker 8: ups that have sets that you could pay money to
- 1:27:23Speaker 8: and go see. The ones that you can pay money
- 1:27:26Speaker 8: and go see are from our generation. The Earthquakes, the
- 1:27:31Speaker 8: Dion Coles, the Mike Epps, the cats like that, And
- 1:27:37Speaker 8: I'm leaving out a bunch said of course DL the
- 1:27:40Speaker 8: Boys is still out there patrolling on. There's Jay Bruce, Bruce, Chappelle, Chappelle,
- 1:27:50Speaker 8: of course Rock you know, Kevin Hart. But this new
- 1:27:55Speaker 8: thing these cats can do online and sell out the
- 1:27:59Speaker 8: Mojo Brooksis, which is a super league. This guy is
- 1:28:02Speaker 8: really really funny Manjo Brooks is a really really funny guy,
- 1:28:08Speaker 8: and I'm just surprised at how he's carved out a
- 1:28:10Speaker 8: career from the internet. I liked his internet stuff when
- 1:28:13Speaker 8: he was doing a little sketch about getting beat up
- 1:28:15Speaker 8: and the girl sitting in the car with nose bleeding
- 1:28:18Speaker 8: and stuff. That dude, he he would be a great
- 1:28:21Speaker 8: comedic actor. He's a great comedic actor. That's why his
- 1:28:27Speaker 8: improv works as well as it does. A guy is
- 1:28:29Speaker 8: very sharp, very funny, dude.
- 1:28:31Speaker 10: Man, how often should you take your Should you take
- 1:28:35Speaker 10: your spouse out on a day?
- 1:28:37Speaker 8: You should take out often? Man, don't let no grass grow,
- 1:28:41Speaker 8: you know, but I remember that time you took me.
- 1:28:43Speaker 8: Don't let that get into your marriage. Take out again.
- 1:28:46Speaker 8: I need to take my girl out more too. No
