- 1:40Speaker 8: I got to turn the mouth, turn my probably got
- 1:44Speaker 8: to turn mouth turn, turn the water the money up.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Looking me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Come on you that.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I shall. Well, good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 2: come on digging now. One and only Steve Harley got
- 2:10Speaker 2: a radio show today. I want to just share something
- 2:17Speaker 2: with you along your way to wherever it is you're
- 2:24Speaker 2: trying to get to. You know, everybody has a different
- 2:27Speaker 2: definition for success, and I'm not here to tell you
- 2:31Speaker 2: what yours should be. I mean, please pursue whatever you
- 2:34Speaker 2: think success is. Aim as high as you can though,
- 2:39Speaker 2: that's for sure. My father used to say all the time.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I'm sure you all have heard it in different variations,
- 2:46Speaker 2: but he used to always say, aim for the moon.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Just in case you miss, you'll still be amongst the stars.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Just say that to me all the time. So that
- 2:54Speaker 2: always was in me to aim high. Now he will
- 3:00Speaker 2: saying aim with the intent to miss. He was just
- 3:04Speaker 2: saying aim in case you miss, you'll steal me amongst
- 3:09Speaker 2: the stars if you aim for the moon. But if
- 3:11Speaker 2: you just aim for that first flow window and you
- 3:14Speaker 2: miss it, you know, usually run into some type of
- 3:19Speaker 2: wall and nothing happens. You slither down, you know. In
- 3:22Speaker 2: my book, act like a lady, think like a man.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I told her people that me in love three ways.
- 3:27Speaker 2: They profess, they provide, they protect, and that's the core
- 3:31Speaker 2: essence of a man's love. Well, there's some other p's
- 3:35Speaker 2: in life too. The number one thing you have to
- 3:39Speaker 2: understand about trying to be successful, and I guess I'll
- 3:44Speaker 2: call this the four p's. I may come up with
- 3:47Speaker 2: five along the way. I don't know. I'm just talking
- 3:50Speaker 2: as it's given to me. So I'm gonna summer start
- 3:53Speaker 2: by saying that these are the four PE's of success
- 3:58Speaker 2: that you have to get ready for. One is pressure.
- 4:03Speaker 2: A lot of it is applied by the circumstance of
- 4:06Speaker 2: what you're trying to go for and what you're trying
- 4:08Speaker 2: to do. But a lot of it also is self
- 4:13Speaker 2: imposed pressure. It's what you put on yourself to make it.
- 4:19Speaker 2: It's a sense of urgency, it's a sense of necessity,
- 4:26Speaker 2: but pressure is the first thing I want you to
- 4:29Speaker 2: be ready for. And pressure comes in a lot of
- 4:32Speaker 2: different forms, but it's going to be pressured. As an
- 4:35Speaker 2: old saying that pressure bust pipe. See, that's why most
- 4:37Speaker 2: people turn around because of the pressure of trying to
- 4:41Speaker 2: be successful. I want you to get it in your
- 4:43Speaker 2: mind that it is going to be a pressure riz
- 4:47Speaker 2: situation on your rise to the top. Pressure, but understand
- 4:53Speaker 2: that that is what it is, is not going to change.
- 4:56Speaker 2: That's it. Prepare yourself, get ready for there to be pressure.
- 5:04Speaker 2: The second thing I want you to understand is when
- 5:06Speaker 2: you receive this pressure, you have to persist. You got
- 5:11Speaker 2: to stay at it. You got to develop a dog illness.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Hez A. There's a song how it says, why must
- 5:24Speaker 2: I feel like that? Why must I chase the cat?
- 5:29Speaker 2: Nothing but the dog in me? That's a funny line
- 5:33Speaker 2: in that song, because really I was thinking about it
- 5:37Speaker 2: one day. I was humming it and and it occurred
- 5:41Speaker 2: to me, said, why must I feel like that? Why
- 5:45Speaker 2: must I chase the cat? Nothing but the dog in me?
- 5:50Speaker 2: And you know, now you could take it in the
- 5:52Speaker 2: literal sense that a cat chases the dog, because it's
- 5:56Speaker 2: innately it's in his spirit that cats and dogs are
- 5:59Speaker 2: a lot of time enemies. Now people have pets in
- 6:02Speaker 2: him proven that if you show love on both sides,
- 6:05Speaker 2: they can exist. And that happens too but naturally innately,
- 6:10Speaker 2: when your cat goes by a dog and your dog
- 6:12Speaker 2: don't recognize him, there's some barking going on. I'm talking
- 6:15Speaker 2: about just walking through the neighborhood or something. So, but
- 6:18Speaker 2: the reason that this dog is so persistent towards this
- 6:24Speaker 2: cat is just cause it's in him. It's innately in him.
- 6:30Speaker 2: And what I'm saying to you, just using that as
- 6:34Speaker 2: an analogy, is that you got to be you got
- 6:39Speaker 2: to be persistent in that. You got to develop some
- 6:44Speaker 2: dog in you now because pressure takes some fighting back.
- 6:48Speaker 2: See if you don't fight back against pressure, pressure buster pipe,
- 6:52Speaker 2: So what you think it'll do to you? Pressure crack walls,
- 6:56Speaker 2: pressure calls explosions. So if you don't fight back to
- 7:00Speaker 2: hold it in, you understand pressure does most people in
- 7:05Speaker 2: the simple thing called pressure, the weight of what it
- 7:09Speaker 2: feels like to want to be successful every single day,
- 7:13Speaker 2: over and over and over and over and over. It's
- 7:16Speaker 2: just too much pressure. People crack. You got to persist
- 7:20Speaker 2: you have to persist. You can the thought of giving
- 7:24Speaker 2: up can come, but you got to get it out.
- 7:28Speaker 2: You got to persist. The next thing I want you
- 7:32Speaker 2: to think about is another something that I've been thinking
- 7:36Speaker 2: about for years and learned for years. It's called perseverance.
- 7:41Speaker 2: To persist means to insist, a keyword in incest, and
- 7:48Speaker 2: persistence insists you must. You must insist that this is
- 7:52Speaker 2: going to happen. Now, the persist I'm assuming means it's
- 7:56Speaker 2: a proaction. It's some type of proaction that you go
- 8:00Speaker 2: towards it to make it. You know, persist, You gotta
- 8:04Speaker 2: be persistent. You gotta be constantly at it, insisting that
- 8:07Speaker 2: it happens. You gotta be constantly at it. But the
- 8:10Speaker 2: next thing I want you to remember is perseverance. Perseverance
- 8:14Speaker 2: is important. Perseverance means that when you've done your best,
- 8:20Speaker 2: when you've persisted, when you're fighting back against the pressure.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Perseverance simply means I'm going to hang in here. If
- 8:30Speaker 2: a crack come into pipe, I'm gonna hang in there.
- 8:34Speaker 2: If the pipe bust, I'm gonna keep going. If I
- 8:37Speaker 2: gotta put duct, take mud, whatever I got to put
- 8:42Speaker 2: on this thing. Man I'm gonna use perseverance. I'm going
- 8:47Speaker 2: to stay with it no matter what. So we're looking
- 8:50Speaker 2: at the three things again. You got to understand that
- 8:54Speaker 2: it's gonna be pressure that you're gonna have to persist.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Keyword in persistence incense. You have to insist that no
- 9:02Speaker 2: matter what the pressure is, I'm gonna stay with it.
- 9:04Speaker 2: But then perseverance. If it goes wrong, Man, you got
- 9:09Speaker 2: to get in there and keep fighting. But then, Lord
- 9:13Speaker 2: have mercy. Nothing helps you handle the three p's better
- 9:17Speaker 2: than the fourth P. You got to pray. You got
- 9:20Speaker 2: to use prayer. You gotta talk to God. You gotta
- 9:24Speaker 2: use faith. You gotta have some conferences with him late
- 9:28Speaker 2: at night, early in the morning, in the middle of
- 9:31Speaker 2: the afternoon, when you're on the train, when you're driving.
- 9:34Speaker 2: You got to talk to God. Man, you got to
- 9:36Speaker 2: get yourself some help along the way. Nothing is bigger
- 9:40Speaker 2: than prayer. There is nothing bigger than prayer. Prayer will
- 9:43Speaker 2: help you overcome the pressure. Prayer will help you stay persistent,
- 9:47Speaker 2: and Lord have mercy. Prayer will help you persevere. Then,
- 9:51Speaker 2: mister faux Peas, God gave that to me, I'm passing
- 9:56Speaker 2: it on.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to The Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your undivided attention. God
- 10:07Speaker 2: Almighty has done it again. Another great day, another opportunity,
- 10:12Speaker 2: another chance. Man, oh man, oh man, how many can
- 10:17Speaker 2: you get like this without realizing how great this actually is?
- 10:21Speaker 1: I mean, really, man, at one point in time you
- 10:23Speaker 1: got to go whoo.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Whoo.
- 10:27Speaker 2: He is off the chain with it. He is man
- 10:32Speaker 2: every day. Ain't even really no words because when I
- 10:35Speaker 2: try to describe it, if it feels incomplete to me,
- 10:38Speaker 2: because I know I'm short. Awesome is not big enough,
- 10:44Speaker 2: exponentiously all that, it don't super catsual, fragilistic, It don't fit.
- 10:50Speaker 2: I can't think of nothing. Man, God is good. Welcome
- 10:55Speaker 2: to the Seve Harvard Morning Show. Shirty Strawberry calling for

- 11:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:11Speaker 2: Yeah? And they put their hands on me too, Yes,
- 11:15Speaker 2: on many occasions, many.

- 17:28Speaker 3: part that's Bason. All things hold off for a second.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Is that country music? That's country music? Well, that's that's
- 17:35Speaker 3: that's that's that's everything. We gonna do everything. We gonna
- 17:39Speaker 3: do that. That's gonna be Yeah, bro, I gotta tell
- 17:43Speaker 3: you right now, man, R and B. That's our specialty.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Did you not know that? You know what I'm saying.

- 18:07Speaker 3: our specialty is an R and B.
- 18:09Speaker 6: That's our specialty.
- 18:10Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 18:11Speaker 10: It's it's not like we're trained monkeys where we could
- 18:13Speaker 10: just learn something new last mint like that.
- 18:15Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, Let's let's get let's get one.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Let's get one thing. Understand you're the person that's said monkey,
- 18:24Speaker 3: I ain't sick, but I'm just no. And you know
- 18:30Speaker 3: that we're an R and B band. That's our big thing.
- 18:33Speaker 3: That's what we promote ourselves as. Let me ask you something, Richie,
- 18:37Speaker 3: something you do you not want to make the five
- 18:43Speaker 3: towns and knowledge that you and I have already negotiations.
- 18:46Speaker 3: I don't like being disrespected, though, you know what I'm saying,
- 18:49Speaker 3: and no disrespecting you. You're just we're an R and
- 18:53Speaker 3: B band.
- 18:54Speaker 6: We don't see the country. You know what I'm saying.
- 18:56Speaker 3: How do you know here, Richie? You got something this country?
- 19:00Speaker 3: I have no problem with country music.
- 19:02Speaker 1: It's just that we have a full horn section, which
- 19:04Speaker 1: doesn't really work with country music.
- 19:06Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 19:07Speaker 3: We play R and D.
- 19:08Speaker 6: It's not our genre.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Well, I got I got what year used to doing.
- 19:14Speaker 3: But if I don't hear uh, let me see your gunner.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Oh my cole swim. They didn't didn't that. It ain't
- 19:24Speaker 3: gonna work for me. I gotta get that. I gotta
- 19:27Speaker 3: get slow burned by Tim Heats. I gotta get all
- 19:31Speaker 3: my rooty friends who coming over by. I ain't Williams.
- 19:34Speaker 5: I mean that, yo.
- 19:35Speaker 3: You know what waity wait wait wait wait. Karns over
- 19:38Speaker 3: at the Many is telling me that you guys can
- 19:40Speaker 3: sing anything in the world. Now, I know you ain't
- 19:43Speaker 3: telling me that. Kevin's line, I mean he's maybe he
- 19:47Speaker 3: should have told you explicitly what we do and what
- 19:49Speaker 3: we play. You know what I'm saying, I've never met

- 20:13Speaker 3: find another group. Everybody. I don't know. I don't get
- 20:16Speaker 3: about your stupid party.
- 20:17Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 20:18Speaker 3: You came to us to play music, and then we
- 20:21Speaker 3: told you what we do right now. You know, right now,
- 20:25Speaker 3: I feel like I feel like we had a stand
- 20:27Speaker 3: off at the I'm okay, Corail, all right, all right,
- 20:33Speaker 3: let me let me talk to.
- 20:34Speaker 6: My band, all right, because this is going this is
- 20:36Speaker 6: going unnecessary too far.
- 20:38Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. Maybe we can make it work,
- 20:40Speaker 3: all right. Let me let me ask you. Is Dray
- 20:44Speaker 3: the bass player? Yeah? Correct? Okay? Can I tell you
- 20:47Speaker 3: something about Dray? What about him? Drey got me to
- 20:52Speaker 3: prank phone call you. This is nephew Tommy from the

- 21:11Speaker 3: Mess what is the baddest and I mean the baddest

- 21:22Speaker 1: All right, all right, Junior, thank you.
- 21:25Speaker 9: Coming up next, it is asked the CLO with our
- 21:28Speaker 9: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building. Right after this,
- 21:33Speaker 9: let's go. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:40Speaker 9: Around the holidays. It's hard to find the right gifts,
- 21:43Speaker 9: but you know, it's even harder getting the right gift.
- 21:46Speaker 7: But get this.
- 21:47Speaker 9: Verizon's got the perfect solve for both. They have incredible
- 21:52Speaker 9: gift bundles. You get the latest phone with a new

- 22:04Speaker 9: keep them all to yourself. No one has to know.
- 22:07Speaker 9: Stop by your local Verizon. Coming up at the top
- 22:11Speaker 9: of the hour. And entertainment news, Candy Burr's ex husband
- 22:15Speaker 9: Todd Tucker soon to be ex husband Todd Tucker requests
- 22:18Speaker 9: primary custody of the kids. Fifty Cent speaks on why
- 22:22Speaker 9: he is producing Ditty's documentary, and Yeah today, there are
- 22:28Speaker 9: some serious winter storm weather alerts for the Northeast and
- 22:32Speaker 9: the Midwest. We'll talk about these stories at the top
- 22:35Speaker 9: of the hour, but right now it is time to
- 22:38Speaker 9: ask the colo. This is from Da Vinci in Queen's
- 22:42Speaker 9: Da Vinci says, my wife and I took a road
- 22:44Speaker 9: trip to her cousin's house for dinner Thursday. She had
- 22:47Speaker 9: put Bailey's in her coffee, and when we got to
- 22:50Speaker 9: her cousin's house, she was drunk and loud. I had
- 22:53Speaker 9: no idea that she spiked her coffee, so I was mad.
- 22:57Speaker 9: Did I overreact since it was a festive occasion, or
- 23:00Speaker 9: do I have the right to be upset?
- 23:03Speaker 2: Well, so she was driving, then you have a right
- 23:07Speaker 2: to be upset because that's danger in people's lives on
- 23:10Speaker 2: her roads. Of course. Now I've had Bailey's before. Do
- 23:16Speaker 2: you know how much of that you got to drink
- 23:18Speaker 2: to get drunk?
- 23:20Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 23:23Speaker 3: A lot.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I'm presuming since she said.
- 23:25Speaker 2: That, I think, but she just spiked her coffee. She
- 23:28Speaker 2: probably has a really low tolerance for alcohol. Yeah, Look,
- 23:34Speaker 2: I would just be a little bit more forgiving people
- 23:37Speaker 2: who drink. Judgment is usually off, so I wouldn't be
- 23:47Speaker 2: too worried about that. Is she mad at him?
- 23:50Speaker 1: No, he's mad at her.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Yeay, man, just let that go. It's gonna be some
- 23:54Speaker 2: other stuff. Well while you're still mad about that though, yeah, Julie, Yeah,
- 24:02Speaker 2: I know you mad. Yeah, I know you struggling with that,
- 24:05Speaker 2: but still mad is not good for anybody. You can
- 24:08Speaker 2: unfold your arms. This is the Colo segment. I'll get
- 24:11Speaker 2: to you in a minute. Go ahead, Shirley, I.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Love that, all right.
- 24:15Speaker 9: This is from moving on to a lease in Sarasota
- 24:18Speaker 9: at least, writes this morning, my husband was in the
- 24:21Speaker 9: kitchen on the phone when I walked in.
- 24:24Speaker 1: He hung up.
- 24:25Speaker 9: I told him to hand me his phone, and he
- 24:27Speaker 9: went off. He said that he's not my child, and
- 24:29Speaker 9: he walked out of the house. Why did he get
- 24:32Speaker 9: so upset over that?
- 24:34Speaker 2: Well, you asked for his phone. You're checking it now.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Two things could happen. That could be a number on
- 24:41Speaker 2: now he didn't want you to see, or he just
- 24:45Speaker 2: wanted to He just don't want to be checked like
- 24:47Speaker 2: he's a child. And then he walked out the house
- 24:51Speaker 2: to delete the number. You got to you got it,
- 24:55Speaker 2: you know, yeah, give me the phone, you know you
- 24:59Speaker 2: walked then he hung up. Maybe he was through with
- 25:01Speaker 2: the conversation. It could be that, but if you check
- 25:05Speaker 2: him about it immediately, he is gonna be upset. Ain't
- 25:09Speaker 2: gonna use that as the reason. You got to be
- 25:13Speaker 2: slicker with it. You gotta not say nothing. Then don't
- 25:18Speaker 2: say nothing, then get his phone. No, no, you jumping.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Well he did hang up as soon as she walked in.
- 25:28Speaker 2: I hang up a lot of time. It could be
- 25:31Speaker 2: just coincident, yeah, all like I said, Or he could
- 25:36Speaker 2: have hung up because he didn't want you to hear
- 25:37Speaker 2: the conversation. Now, why wouldn't he give me the phone.
- 25:40Speaker 2: It's because he is not your child. Give me your phone.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Come on, now, you gotta be a little bit smarter
- 25:47Speaker 2: about this, ladies, give me your phone now, not see.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. When you make when you
- 25:55Speaker 2: do stuff like that to your husband, now, your husband
- 25:57Speaker 2: starts preparing for those moments. If you're gon't do that,
- 26:01Speaker 2: you're gonna have to be a little bit slickled with it.
- 26:04Speaker 1: So what you give me your phone? Honey? Honey? May
- 26:08Speaker 1: I see your phone?
- 26:10Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no, no, no.
- 26:11Speaker 1: It ain't how you say it, it's the fact that
- 26:14Speaker 1: you're saying it.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Yeah, baby, baby, let me have your phone whatever on
- 26:21Speaker 2: his phone. M h you can't see it.
- 26:26Speaker 1: M okay, sounds like he was up to no good.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Yeah, sadly, but you know she do with the accusational tone.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Whatever he was wrong too, all right? Moving on to Milan.
- 26:41Speaker 9: In Greenwood, Milan, that writes, I called my husband three times,
- 26:45Speaker 9: back to back, and he didn't answer. I was looking
- 26:48Speaker 9: at him in the driveway, sitting in his car, ignoring me.
- 26:52Speaker 9: He said he was just chilling. I was worried about him,
- 26:55Speaker 9: and he didn't care. Why would he ignore me like that?
- 27:00Speaker 2: I can't tell you how many times every man has
- 27:05Speaker 2: done that. Every single man looked at that phone and
- 27:13Speaker 2: with uh uh. He was in the driveway. He wasn't
- 27:16Speaker 2: even on his phone. He just having a moment of peace. Now,
- 27:20Speaker 2: why your man can't have this moment a piece? He
- 27:23Speaker 2: wasn't talking on the phone, and you saw him sitting
- 27:26Speaker 2: there just trying to pull hisself together. Now, why would
- 27:31Speaker 2: he ignore me because he was having a moment of peace.
- 27:34Speaker 2: I have done it, Tommy has done it. If Tash
- 27:39Speaker 2: has done.
- 27:40Speaker 9: It, huh what would you do if it were her
- 27:45Speaker 9: sitting in the driveway, would you, as a concerned husband
- 27:48Speaker 9: call her yeah.
- 27:50Speaker 2: I will call her. But if she don't pick up
- 27:51Speaker 2: and I look outside and she in the driveway, I'm
- 27:53Speaker 2: going back in that finish watching the game. Okay, cool,
- 27:57Speaker 2: we can both have a moment. But very few times
- 28:05Speaker 2: will a man knowingly destroy a woman's peace knowing that
- 28:10Speaker 2: could come around and eventually destroy his. Very few men
- 28:14Speaker 2: that have a brain on their head will do that. So, ladies,
- 28:18Speaker 2: if you see your man just chilling you calling me here,
- 28:20Speaker 2: he's just trying to pull it together. He's just trying
- 28:23Speaker 2: to pull it together.
- 28:24Speaker 5: Right.
- 28:24Speaker 2: He wasn't on the phone, none of that. Just trying
- 28:28Speaker 2: to have a moment. Man, Glad you ain't my wife.
- 28:33Speaker 1: This is from Charles and Philly.
- 28:36Speaker 9: Last one, Steve Charles writes, I got a text from
- 28:39Speaker 9: my wife's mother and she said she needed to speak
- 28:42Speaker 9: to me. We haven't spoken in months, and I was
- 28:44Speaker 9: not in the mood to start a text fight with her.
- 28:47Speaker 9: My wife knows her mom is devilish, so why does
- 28:50Speaker 9: she insist that I talk to her?
- 28:54Speaker 5: No?
- 28:54Speaker 2: See, what you do, dog is delete the text and
- 28:57Speaker 2: say you never got it and put that thing on
- 29:03Speaker 2: your phone that doesn't allow people to see that you
- 29:05Speaker 2: re read the message.
- 29:09Speaker 8: Yeah, but if the text says delivered on her end,
- 29:13Speaker 8: then she knows he got it.
- 29:16Speaker 1: What doesn't matter and God.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Is two different things. You know, No, no, you could
- 29:21Speaker 2: deliver the package. I didn't get it though text messages no, no, no, no.
- 29:28Speaker 5: Hell no.
- 29:28Speaker 2: And she own if it's say delivered, yeah, but mine
- 29:34Speaker 2: don't say God got it? Now where you where it
- 29:39Speaker 2: got delivered to? That's between you and the phone. Come okay,
- 29:44Speaker 2: I ain't seen no text and hear my phone all
- 29:53Speaker 2: people to destroy your peace. That's gonna be my closing remark.
- 30:00Speaker 1: All right, okay, all right, all right. So it sounds
- 30:05Speaker 1: like he and the mother in law have some issues
- 30:07Speaker 1: here and the wife is ignoring it. Yeah, what does
- 30:11Speaker 1: that mean? Ambolish? Yeah, what's going on?
- 30:15Speaker 2: She know her mama stard miss yeah, day for it,
- 30:19Speaker 2: So he ignored it?
- 30:21Speaker 1: All right, all right, thank you Colo.
- 30:24Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour, we will
- 30:26Speaker 9: have some entertainment news for you right after this. You're
- 30:30Speaker 9: listening the Hardy Morning Show. US Weekly reports a Candy
- 30:39Speaker 9: Burris and her soon to be ex Todd Tucker reunited
- 30:42Speaker 9: for Thanksgiving, although Todd was noticeably absent from a family
- 30:46Speaker 9: photo Candy shared on social media. The image featured Todd's
- 30:50Speaker 9: eldest daughter from a previous relationship with Candy, expressing that
- 30:54Speaker 9: she will always be considered family. Meanwhile, there claims that
- 30:58Speaker 9: Todd has petitioned for a price marry custody of their
- 31:01Speaker 9: two children, aged nine and six, as they currently reside
- 31:05Speaker 9: with him in Georgia while Candy works out of state.
- 31:08Speaker 9: Thout acknowledge signing a prenuptial agreement in twenty fourteen, but
- 31:12Speaker 9: imply that he was coersed into doing so without legal representation.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Oh so.
- 31:23Speaker 1: That's your response.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Now listen to me. Without legal concert that's your prop.
- 31:30Speaker 2: You signed a prenup. That's that's gonna be. I knew that.
- 31:32Speaker 2: I knew that was coming up. Yeah, and and A
- 31:36Speaker 2: and B. You're not getting the kids. You can prompt them,
- 31:39Speaker 2: you do. You know what you have to do for
- 31:42Speaker 2: them to take a child from the mother. Bruh. Yeah,
- 31:46Speaker 2: that's a tough one right there.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Bro.
- 31:47Speaker 2: And I like Todd man, I like Candy.
- 31:50Speaker 1: So yeah, but bruh, you I was rooting for them.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I made to say them break up.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I hate that.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Yeah, hey man, just do just do, just become wonderful
- 31:59Speaker 2: cold parents. They seem like really smart people. Just be
- 32:03Speaker 2: great co parents, you know, get it done. You not,
- 32:08Speaker 2: that's it, bro, Just gone do that man, Man, I'm
- 32:11Speaker 2: gone take care of your kids.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Man.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, glad to see that. Yeah, it really is.
- 32:20Speaker 9: In other entertainment news, during a recent interview with Robin
- 32:23Speaker 9: Roberts on Good Morning America, fifty Cent discussed his long
- 32:27Speaker 9: beaf with Ditty and why he is producing the Netflix
- 32:30Speaker 9: documentary Sean Combs The Reckoning. Fifty said that if he
- 32:35Speaker 9: didn't say anything, you would interpret it as hip hop
- 32:39Speaker 9: is fine with his behavior. The series will focus on
- 32:42Speaker 9: Ditty being a superstar, his sexual assault lawsuits and criminal trial,
- 32:46Speaker 9: and never before unseen footage never before unseen footage of
- 32:51Speaker 9: days leading up to the trial. Take a listen to
- 32:54Speaker 9: Robert Roberts asking fifty about the beef and director Alexandria
- 32:59Speaker 9: stapled response.
- 33:01Speaker 2: How do you respond to people who say that that
- 33:03Speaker 2: it's more about the sustain that you have for Sean
- 33:06Speaker 2: Combs than it is for giving the victims a platform.
- 33:09Speaker 11: What they consider a pre existing being right for twenty years?
- 33:13Speaker 11: Is me being uncomfortable with him suggesting that he takes
- 33:19Speaker 11: me shopping? Or is that I looked at it like
- 33:21Speaker 11: it was like it was like a tester, like, maybe
- 33:24Speaker 11: you'll come play with me type of thing, right, and
- 33:28Speaker 11: it's not personal.
- 33:29Speaker 12: I think it's important to also let people know that
- 33:34Speaker 12: the show is not completely the perspectives of people that
- 33:37Speaker 12: did not like Shawn. We weren't trying to just get
- 33:39Speaker 12: the highlights, the salacious details. You know that the real
- 33:42Speaker 12: goal was to storytell and if you not, everyone needed
- 33:46Speaker 12: to have an allegation to be a part of this project.
- 33:50Speaker 1: As to the question, though I did not understand his personal, yeah,
- 33:55Speaker 1: it is. It's very personal, mad. I didn't get an
- 34:02Speaker 1: answer from him.
- 34:03Speaker 2: I just if you, if you're a man, you tell
- 34:05Speaker 2: me you asked me, come on, let me take your shopping.
- 34:09Speaker 2: That's personal.
- 34:10Speaker 9: Yeah, And he's mad about that, and so he's this
- 34:13Speaker 9: is how he's Canami as he should be. Yeah, all right,
- 34:17Speaker 9: we all know, of course that did. He is serving
- 34:20Speaker 9: a fifty month prison sentence for violating the Man Act.
- 34:23Speaker 9: And finally, in trending National weather news, more snow untapped
- 34:27Speaker 9: for the Midwest and the Northeast. The third winter storm
- 34:31Speaker 9: in the last seven days will blanket parts of the
- 34:33Speaker 9: Midwest and northeast, Chicago and the Upper Midwest will be
- 34:37Speaker 9: blanketed by snow.
- 34:39Speaker 3: This is that.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Today's winter storm.
- 34:41Speaker 9: Weather alerts have been posted in parts of the northeast
- 34:44Speaker 9: from Pennsylvania to Maine. Winter weather will stay west of
- 34:49Speaker 9: the I ninety five quarter and rain will fall east
- 34:52Speaker 9: of it. Parts of Virginia and west northern western North
- 34:56Speaker 9: Carolina are looking at possible ice accumulation.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Please be safe, Please be warm out there. Wow, winter
- 35:05Speaker 1: is here. Did y'all see all that snow in Chicago?
- 35:08Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 35:09Speaker 1: That was crazy? Buffalo? Did you see the Buffalo Stadium?
- 35:13Speaker 1: This is crazy, crazy winter weather.
- 35:19Speaker 2: It's winter. Yeah, Cleveland. Let they're they up in that,
- 35:23Speaker 2: But you know they used to it. They know, Chicago

- 35:30Speaker 2: what do y'all want to happen? See, y'all been spoiled
- 35:33Speaker 2: in Houston, Florida. It's winter.
- 35:36Speaker 7: This is what he do.
- 35:37Speaker 2: It's snow. It's snow and people fight at Thanksgiving chokeouts.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Thank you, thank you for you have see you have
- 35:46Speaker 2: people have cookouts. Junior andm have chokeouts.
- 35:50Speaker 1: You got to do with the weather.

- 35:56Speaker 2: I appreciate you what is.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Going on, Junior with your family.
- 36:00Speaker 4: No, I'm about to be soon because I'm on the
- 36:02Speaker 4: Morning show because I choked somebody out that's older than me.

- 36:07Speaker 2: last time. Stop saying morning show and lawsuit at the
- 36:13Speaker 2: same time. This your rob No, No, you choked your
- 36:20Speaker 2: crack head uncle and thathing is gonna stay at And
- 36:24Speaker 2: you're not going to drag the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 36:28Speaker 2: into this. We're not gonna allow.
- 36:29Speaker 8: With Everybody has fights on Thanksgiving. We did well, not
- 36:36Speaker 8: physical fights, but you know we didn't disagreement. Nobody had
- 36:42Speaker 8: a disagreement.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Well, we had a disagreement because I kept skipping, uh.
- 36:49Speaker 4: My son and.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Oh y'all playing no.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that created a problem. Yeah, well, you're gonna pay
- 36:56Speaker 2: for it. You're gonna pay for this.
- 36:57Speaker 4: You're gonna pay.
- 36:58Speaker 9: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, pay what
- 37:01Speaker 9: you mean I'm fin to pay for one for the
- 37:03Speaker 9: pay for this.
- 37:04Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about your partner's parents.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Are you gonna mess around? And you ain't gonna be
- 37:09Speaker 2: on the morning shelf or.
- 37:11Speaker 10: Their family during the holiday season right after this?
- 37:15Speaker 1: So no, you're listening to Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 37:26Speaker 8: Christmas is a time for joy, and joy is most
- 37:29Speaker 8: powerful when it's shared at the Salvation Army. Your twenty
- 37:32Speaker 8: five dollars monthly gift helps provide warm meals, safe shelter,
- 37:36Speaker 8: and Christmas hope for families right in your neighborhood this season,
- 37:40Speaker 8: lift spirits, including your own. Knowing you're making Christmas brighter
- 37:44Speaker 8: and futures stronger. Give with joy at Salvation Army USA
- 37:49Speaker 8: dot org or at a Red kettle near you that
- 37:52Speaker 8: Salvation Army USA dot org.
- 37:55Speaker 9: Okay, we all know Meg the Stallion and NBA superstar
- 37:59Speaker 9: Dallas Maverick player Clay Thompson are dating. Megan cooked a
- 38:04Speaker 9: Thanksgiving dinner for her new man. This was my favorite
- 38:07Speaker 9: post over the holidays for her new man and his
- 38:10Speaker 9: family and Clay's dad, Michael Thomas Thompson said, quote Meg
- 38:15Speaker 9: the Chef's Thanksgiving dinner was unbelievable, the best I've ever eaten.
- 38:20Speaker 1: End quote. I love that.
- 38:22Speaker 2: I love that.
- 38:23Speaker 9: So today's question is how important is it to win
- 38:27Speaker 9: over your partner's family or her parents or their family.
- 38:33Speaker 9: And speaking of Megan, she won her case yesterday and
- 38:35Speaker 9: Miami against a female blogger for seventy five thousand dollars.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Well, this question, do you say, pose the question again?
- 38:43Speaker 2: The last part of the question.
- 38:44Speaker 9: How important is it for you to win over your parents,
- 38:49Speaker 9: your partner's parents, or their family?
- 38:51Speaker 1: How important is that?
- 38:52Speaker 2: Well, I mean, like Steve Harvey Morning Show. In the
- 38:56Speaker 2: case of Kia, Junior spates, we don't really have a
- 39:01Speaker 2: clear answer for that because he can't win over the
- 39:05Speaker 2: people in his family. He has nothing to do with
- 39:10Speaker 2: his wife, family, wonderful family, his family. He ain't won
- 39:16Speaker 2: them over yet. Junior choked out his uncle at the
- 39:21Speaker 2: thing because of Rwanda. He started crying after who names
- 39:30Speaker 2: that baby? Ronica?
- 39:32Speaker 4: Her mom?
- 39:36Speaker 2: What's Ronica's mama name?
- 39:39Speaker 1: But Susan?
- 39:42Speaker 4: Oh, but I want, I want everybody in my family.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Stated that mister Harvey is gonna pay for this lawsuit.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Mister Harvey, Hey crazy, why do you keep saying that
- 39:56Speaker 2: mister Harvey is gonna pay for a lawsuit? Law suit?
- 40:00Speaker 2: I have real lawyers, though, you're gonna mess around, Junior.
- 40:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna shut your whole family down. Y'all won't have
- 40:08Speaker 2: no more thanksgivings.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Keep me off the show because this is about you.
- 40:12Speaker 2: I'm not gonna kick you off the show. I'm gonna
- 40:14Speaker 2: send decease and desist for y'all to not have no
- 40:17Speaker 2: more thanksgivings. It's what y'all fit to get. It's castle
- 40:21Speaker 2: because you don't know how to act over there.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Clearly you're choking And hey, man.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Did you ever go over Tommy's house?
- 40:31Speaker 4: I was choking people.
- 40:33Speaker 1: That's what you didn't go, Junior.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Do you know that this goes over the air. You
- 40:42Speaker 2: can't win a lawsuit when you keep saying I was
- 40:47Speaker 2: choking people? Lawsuit?
- 40:53Speaker 9: Did anyone take any film, Junior or anything? They didn't
- 40:56Speaker 9: film it today?
- 40:58Speaker 1: Yeah, everybody got a phone share. Yeah, but did they
- 41:01Speaker 1: film it though?
- 41:01Speaker 2: Oh, kids did, But old crackheads can't work well.
- 41:05Speaker 9: Coming up at thirty four minutes after, Louisiana State Penitentiary
- 41:10Speaker 9: Angola held its first father and father and daughter dance.
- 41:14Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 41:17Speaker 1: the Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:24Speaker 9: According to CBS News, Louisiana State Penitentiary Angola has more
- 41:29Speaker 9: than sixty three hundred prisoners.
- 41:31Speaker 1: An organization called God behind Bars.
- 41:34Speaker 9: Which hosts other reunification events and religious services in prisons nationwide,
- 41:40Speaker 9: hosted the very first father and daughter dance at the prison.
- 41:45Speaker 9: The prison picked up picked about thirty inmates to participate
- 41:49Speaker 9: due to good behavior and other deciding factors. A dance
- 41:52Speaker 9: space was set up in the prison's Bible college, and
- 41:55Speaker 9: the fathers wore tuxedos and cried as their daughters ran
- 41:59Speaker 9: up to the For some prisoners, some of these prisoners
- 42:02Speaker 9: they haven't seen their daughters in month or some even years.
- 42:06Speaker 9: This was a night where they wouldn't be seen as
- 42:09Speaker 9: an inmate, but just rather as dad. Some prisoners said
- 42:12Speaker 9: they wanted to apologize for all the years they missed,
- 42:15Speaker 9: and the other inmates called the dance the most important
- 42:17Speaker 9: prison visit of their lives.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Wow, see that those are important programs. I found quite
- 42:24Speaker 2: a few of those online and stuff like that. I
- 42:28Speaker 2: think they're fabulous.
- 42:29Speaker 3: Man.
- 42:29Speaker 2: It gives the fathers a level of dignity and a
- 42:34Speaker 2: chance to look like a father in the eyes of
- 42:37Speaker 2: the daughter. It's such an important relationship between a father
- 42:41Speaker 2: and a daughter. It's just as important as the father
- 42:44Speaker 2: son relationship because that's where they learn what a man's
- 42:49Speaker 2: love is supposed to be like. So I think it's
- 42:53Speaker 2: a fabulous program. I think they need to do more
- 42:56Speaker 2: hats off to Angola, which is one of the toughest,
- 43:00Speaker 2: the toughest institutions reputation wise in the country. Never been there,
- 43:05Speaker 2: but Lord have mercy and some of the way that
- 43:10Speaker 2: they treat the inmates the inmates is simply inhumane. I
- 43:15Speaker 2: will say that about Angola and a lot of other
- 43:18Speaker 2: prisons too. But when you see a program like this,
- 43:22Speaker 2: this offers a lot of hope. I'm involved in a
- 43:26Speaker 2: prison program that I started at the prison in Atlanta.
- 43:32Speaker 2: The Federal Prison in Atlanta is started by the Coffee
- 43:35Speaker 2: Bean Foundation, where I donated a sum of money to
- 43:41Speaker 2: provide fathers with twenty five hundred dollars scholarships to give
- 43:47Speaker 2: to their children for things that children need on the outside.
- 43:52Speaker 2: And the way they do it is they have to
- 43:53Speaker 2: apply for the scholarship and like you know, like one
- 43:58Speaker 2: of their children may need to go to dance class.
- 44:01Speaker 2: So one girl wanted to go on this field trip
- 44:03Speaker 2: to DC and her mother didn't have the money. Well,
- 44:06Speaker 2: we found out about it and he wins twenty five
- 44:10Speaker 2: hundred dollars scholarship and he's able to send the money
- 44:13Speaker 2: in his name to his child for his child to
- 44:17Speaker 2: participate in these activities and it's starting to really really
- 44:20Speaker 2: catch on. And I'm gonna after this first year here,
- 44:23Speaker 2: I'm gonna do a couple other prisons across the country
- 44:26Speaker 2: with these guys. And I spoke at the prison this year.
- 44:31Speaker 2: I can't think of the name of it as the
- 44:33Speaker 2: Federal prison in Atlanta. I can't think of the name.
- 44:37Speaker 2: But it's very moving time for men. I had a
- 44:40Speaker 2: great time visiting with the inmates and the guards, and
- 44:45Speaker 2: you know, shout out to all the inmates out there, man'
- 44:51Speaker 2: that's just trying to do the right thing.
- 44:53Speaker 3: Man.
- 44:54Speaker 2: A lot of good people make mistakes in this world,
- 44:57Speaker 2: and there was some great men behind them. Bars I met.
- 45:00Speaker 2: It was some great officers in that who cared about
- 45:02Speaker 2: the men. You know, it's some good officers, some bad ones,
- 45:06Speaker 2: just like everywhere else. But for the most part down
- 45:08Speaker 2: there was they had a decent relationship.
- 45:12Speaker 1: So important.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Hey, man, you can't throw men away and women away
- 45:18Speaker 2: because they locked up. A lot of good people make mistakes,
- 45:21Speaker 2: and then there's some innocent people back there too. Now, yeah,
- 45:23Speaker 2: a lot, and it's a whole lot of it. Look,
- 45:27Speaker 2: the Jim Crow Law down in Angola said that a
- 45:31Speaker 2: person could get convicted without twelve full jury members. So
- 45:34Speaker 2: it's called a Jim Crow law down in Louisiana. They
- 45:38Speaker 2: got it overturned just recently, where you have to be
- 45:42Speaker 2: convicted by twelve any other part of the world, if
- 45:46Speaker 2: ten people say you're guilty and too say you don't,
- 45:48Speaker 2: that's a mistrial. In Louisiana, you go to prison. Well,
- 45:51Speaker 2: they tried to get it retroactive to go back after
- 45:55Speaker 2: they passed the new law, and Louisiana High Supreme Court
- 45:58Speaker 2: turned it down. So these men who were convicted by
- 46:02Speaker 2: not fool jeurys still had to stay in prison. That's
- 46:06Speaker 2: happening at Angolo and that ain't right man.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we're gonna move on and have more
- 46:14Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:15Speaker 9: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:23Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour, about four
- 46:26Speaker 9: minutes after. It's my Strawberry letter for today and the
- 46:29Speaker 9: subject is is he my man or hers? Okay, we'll
- 46:35Speaker 9: get into that, find out what that's all about. And
- 46:37Speaker 9: just a few because right now Junior is in for
- 46:40Speaker 9: the nephew with today's prank phone call.
- 46:43Speaker 3: What you got for us?
- 46:43Speaker 1: Junior?
- 46:44Speaker 2: I have nothing. I just even talk to my uncle Steve.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Wait, what what what are you talking about? It's prank time?
- 46:51Speaker 1: What do you mean you have?
- 46:52Speaker 4: Now? I'm taking everybody time today. I'm anna convicted feeling
- 46:57Speaker 4: and Uncle Steve ain't trying to help him.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Oh my good feeling?
- 47:06Speaker 5: Yeah? Man?
- 47:07Speaker 2: What are the charges?
- 47:09Speaker 4: JUDI choking people?
- 47:12Speaker 2: You're gonna say it again?
- 47:13Speaker 4: Huh see see see what they said Junior from Sarah
- 47:19Speaker 4: water Show. We filing charges now, you, Steve, I'm junior.
- 47:24Speaker 4: You have to pay for this if you care about
- 47:27Speaker 4: me right now? I need to know it right now,
- 47:29Speaker 4: Miss Arden?
- 47:30Speaker 2: What do you if I care about you?
- 47:33Speaker 1: What are you about?
- 47:36Speaker 2: It's your people and this here that you what?
- 47:39Speaker 6: What?
- 47:40Speaker 2: Okay? Okay, Miss Harden? Okay, have you ever done what
- 47:43Speaker 2: I've done before? Choke somebody?
- 47:46Speaker 1: Yeah, we can't talk about this if you.
- 47:51Speaker 2: He's ah, well, I can tell you right now. I
- 47:58Speaker 2: can recall one almost sure.
- 48:02Speaker 1: We have asked you.
- 48:03Speaker 2: That statue of limitation ain't quite pasted or not so
- 48:08Speaker 2: I could probably you don't know, okay, but do you care?
- 48:13Speaker 2: You don't mean to either? Why you talking about it?
- 48:17Speaker 1: Okay?
- 48:18Speaker 4: Do you care about me?
- 48:19Speaker 1: Don't listen to me, junior, Junior, I'm exhausted. It's hot.
- 48:26Speaker 2: When you are stupid criminal. See that's how you get.
- 48:32Speaker 2: You can't be a stupid criminal. You can't commit a
- 48:36Speaker 2: crime and then admit to it repeatedly on a radio show.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Thank you that.
- 48:49Speaker 2: You don't see that.
- 48:50Speaker 1: No, no, I don't see did you say no?
- 48:54Speaker 6: No?
- 48:55Speaker 3: No no?
- 48:56Speaker 4: Because see I was choking people.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Another admission? Do you watch Order? Do you watch first
- 49:04Speaker 1: forty eight? Do you watch any of these crimes? Obviously
- 49:08Speaker 1: not date line.
- 49:11Speaker 2: But I'll tell you what. You might not watch it,
- 49:13Speaker 2: but you're gonna be on it though it's just a
- 49:16Speaker 2: short few.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Can you introduce the prank?
- 49:19Speaker 3: Please?
- 49:20Speaker 8: No, let Steve do Okay, okay, Neighborhood Watch, Junior, go ahead,
- 49:27Speaker 8: you can do it if you don't free prank Thanksgiving.

- 57:02Speaker 9: rebounded with a guy from my past. He still lives
- 57:05Speaker 9: in the town where we grew up, so we reconnect
- 57:10Speaker 9: it when I was home visiting my parents for Labor Day.
- 57:13Speaker 9: We're making the long distance thing work because right now
- 57:16Speaker 9: he's living with his ex girlfriend until their lease expires
- 57:20Speaker 9: at the end of December. Right this causes a problem
- 57:27Speaker 9: for my parents because my boyfriend's ex girlfriend doesn't does
- 57:31Speaker 9: payroll and accounting for my dad's cleaners. She's well known
- 57:35Speaker 9: in town, so no one can believe that my boyfriend
- 57:37Speaker 9: dumped her. I told him that living with her and
- 57:41Speaker 9: dating me would be a problem, but he did not
- 57:43Speaker 9: move out. My dad called me last month and said
- 57:46Speaker 9: that he and my mom are embarrassed by what I'm doing.
- 57:49Speaker 9: I calmly told them that my boyfriend is not married
- 57:52Speaker 9: to the girl, so he's allowed.
- 57:54Speaker 1: To do as he pleases, and he chooses to date me.
- 57:57Speaker 9: My dad left me alone for a while, and then
- 57:59Speaker 9: my mom called me and said she saw the girl
- 58:02Speaker 9: and my boyfriend at an outlet mall together. I asked
- 58:05Speaker 9: him about it, and he said they were picking out
- 58:07Speaker 9: sneakers for her nephew, and she asked for his help.
- 58:11Speaker 9: I told him about this thing called online shopping that
- 58:16Speaker 9: they could have done without going out in public together.
- 58:19Speaker 9: He laughed and reassured me that I had nothing to
- 58:22Speaker 9: worry about. I am being harshly judged by my parents,
- 58:26Speaker 9: but I'm continuing to fight for my relationship. I guess
- 58:30Speaker 9: I'll see what happens at the end of the year
- 58:32Speaker 9: when he's supposed to move out. My intuition is telling
- 58:36Speaker 9: me that to call his ex to see if my
- 58:39Speaker 9: boyfriend has told her how he.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Feels about me. Well, if he's playing me, What if
- 58:44Speaker 1: he's playing me? Like my parents said, do you think
- 58:46Speaker 1: that he'll break up with me if I call his ex?
- 58:49Speaker 1: What should I do? Okay, First, let's clear this up. Okay,
- 58:53Speaker 1: you have no relationship with this guy. Okay, and you
- 58:57Speaker 1: should end this sham of a relationship and ship immediately.
- 59:01Speaker 1: That's what you should do.
- 59:02Speaker 9: You should have never gotten involved in this. He was
- 59:06Speaker 9: living with someone and he made promises to you. No,
- 59:09Speaker 9: wait till all that's over, then you guys can start dating.
- 59:13Speaker 9: But now, no, he lives with someone that this is
- 59:16Speaker 9: a no win situation for you. You've given him permission
- 59:21Speaker 9: basically to have her, to keep her and be with you.
- 59:26Speaker 1: When you're around.
- 59:28Speaker 9: If he's preparing to be with you, then no other
- 59:30Speaker 9: woman should be involved in the mix.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Do you understand that they live together?
- 59:36Speaker 10: So?
- 59:36Speaker 9: Yes, No matter what he's telling you, he is still
- 59:40Speaker 9: sleeping with her. So I say, listen to your parents.
- 59:44Speaker 9: He is playing you.
- 59:45Speaker 2: Steve, I almost.
- 59:51Speaker 1: Don't say it.
- 59:52Speaker 2: I almost can't believe anything in this letter. It's that unbelievable.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: It doesn't make any sense. Everything you said has red
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: flags stuck in it. Thirty four years old and single,
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: after bad breakup, I rebounded with a guy from my past. Ding,
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: let's stick a red flag in that, because guess what
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: you said, I rebounded with a guy from my past. So,
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: I guess you're just gonna throw away the fact that
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: you had to break up with him for whatever the reason.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: He still lives in town we grew up in, so
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: we reconnected when I was home visiting my parents for
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: Labor Day, Ding another red flag weekend fleeing we're making
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: grew up in so when I was home visiting the
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Labor day, we're making the long distance thing work because
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: right now he's living with his ex girlfriend until their
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: least expires had the end of December. Ding ding ding
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: ding ding ding ding ding ding ding Ding, Lady, many
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: flags you need? You said, we're making the long distance
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: thing work.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: What what?
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: What is it that you're making work? All it is
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: is a long distance thing because right now he's living
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: with his ex girlfriend until their least expires at the
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: end of December. You ready, this causes a problem for
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: my parents because my boyfriend's ex girlfriend does payroll in
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: accounting for my dad's cleaners. Bing Big bing Bean. Another
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: red flag. When you say this causes a problem for
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: your parents, See that means there's some involvement with them
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: in your long distance thing. That you're making work with
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: a man that lives with his ex girlfriend until they
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: least run out in December, and now the ex girlfriend
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: does payroll and accounting for your daddy's cleaners. She's well
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: known in town, so no one can believe that my
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: boyfriend dumped her. Ding Here we go. So what you're
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: telling me is that this girl has a wonderful relationship
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: and everybody knows her as an upstanding and fine young woman.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: I told him that him living with her and dating
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: me would be a problem. You think you, but he
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: did not move out, ding another red flag. Baby, You
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: living with this woman gonna be a problem for me? Cool,
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: it's gonna be a problem for you because I'm staying here.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: When we come back, I'll tell you the rest of
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: this unbelievable letter that's red flags.
- 1:03:01Speaker 9: Yeah, we'll have part two of your response coming up
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: to Stavid twenty three minutes after the our Today Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:07Speaker 9: Subject is he my man or hers? We'll get back
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: into it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:20Speaker 9: Around the holidays, it's hard to find the right gifts,
- 1:03:23Speaker 9: but you know, it's even harder getting the right gift.
- 1:03:26Speaker 9: But get this, Verizon's got the perfect solve for both.
- 1:03:30Speaker 9: They have incredible gift bundles. You get the latest phone
- 1:03:34Speaker 9: with a new line on my plan and a brand
- 1:03:37Speaker 9: new smartwatch and tablet, no trade in needed. You can
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: give a couple away and get yourself one two, or
- 1:03:43Speaker 9: you can keep them all to yourself. No one has
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: to know. Stop by your local Verizon. All right, Steve,
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject ease,
- 1:03:52Speaker 9: he my man or hers.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: This letter, as I'll repeat, is full of red flags.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: It's thirty four year old woman who says she's single
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: after a bad breakup, she rebounded with her ex red flag.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: They still live in the town that they grew up here,
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: so she went back to visit her parents on Labor
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Day and they connected. We can't flee another red flag.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: We're making this long distance thing work. Really what thing?
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Because right now this is the funniest line. Right now,
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: he's living with his ex girlfriend that today least expires
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: at the end of December. Girl, listen to me, red flag,
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: red flag, and it's on fire. You got a red
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: flag and it's on fire. This causes a problem for
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: my parents because my boyfriend's ex girlfriend does payroll and
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: accounting for my dad. Oh lord, you're fit to mess
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: up your dad in money. Then another redge play. She's
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: well known in town, so no one can believe that
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: my boyfriend dumped her. Well, nobody can't believe it because
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: they still live there, and nobody can't believe it because
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: she's supposedly I guess, well liked in this well thought
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: of young lady. I told him that him living with
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: her and dating me would be a problem. Yeah, but
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: he did not move out for that because it's a
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: problem for you. You told him it would be a problem,
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: he said, cool, get over it. My dad called me
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: last month and said that he and my mama embarrassed
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: by what I'm doing. That's because everybody she well, they
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: know I ain't saying everybody no. But see the fact
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: that he told you that nobody in town can believe
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: he dumped her. It's because they still live together and
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: don't nobody she don't even know. She don't. So now
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: your daddy say he's embarrassed by what you're doing because
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: it appears to your father like you a home record.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: I calmly told them that my boyfriend is not married
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: to the girl, so he's allowed to do as he pleases,
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: and he chooses to date me, beautiful, that's what you said.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: You gave him permission to do whatever it is he
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: wants to do because he's not married, so he's keeping
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: his girlfriend. They're still sleeping together, and he's dating you.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Your dad is trying to say, girl, grow up. My
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: dad left me alone for a while, and then your
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: mom called and said she saw the girl and my
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: boyfriend at the outlet mall together. I ain't been to
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: the outlet mall. None of my exes, none of them.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Ain't nobody seeing me as seals with or nothing. Nothing.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: I asked him about it, and he said they were
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: picking out sneakers for her nephew, and she asked for
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: his help. What I told him about this thing called
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: online shopping. They could have done that without going out
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: in public together. He laughed and reassured me I had
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: nothing to worry about. Another red flag and guess what
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: you believed it? Am I being harshly judged by my parents.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: I am being harshly judged by my parents, but I'm
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: continuing to fight for my relationship. Shirley said, it best
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: you don't have a relationship. You have a long distance thing.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: The least may be up in December, but they not
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: moving out. I guess I'll see what happens at the
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: end of the year when he's supposed to move out.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: Listen to me, he not moving out. He gonna stay
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: there because him and this girl ain't breaking up. When
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: you would came back to him on the rebound, what
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: did you think he was doing when he told you
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: he lived with somebody, and then said, but it's my
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: ex girlfriend. I'm just staying that to the dinner. That
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: ain't sound crazy to you? That ain't that? Ain't that
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: ain't give you a moment of pause. You didn't you
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: didn't feel some kind of way, So y'all just decided
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: to go and make this long distance thing work. My
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: intuition is telling me to call his ex to see
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: if my boyfriend has told her how he feels about me.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: What if he's playing me? Like my parents said? Do
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: you think that he will break up with me if
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: I call his ex? Y'all y'all not together? Yeah, faith,
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: y'all not together? See sweetheart, let me show show you.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: So ain't nobody seeing you and him at the outlet?
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Mam hat him? Huh? What should I do? You should
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: stop seeing this boy because he's still with his girlfriend.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: Now you can be to do the vindictive thing and
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: call the girl and say, hey, I'm sleeping with your man.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: But if you did that to me, I'm gonna accuse
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: you of being delusional And yeah I saw your on
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: Labor Day weekend, but we ain't got nothing going on.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: Then I'm gonna wash you out my phone take all
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: the contacts out and then you gonna be boom. So
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: I don't I don't know what to tell you, but
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: ain't no need to wrecking the rest of his home
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: because because you got played, he is playing you.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: I fail for it.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: Now just get over and just stop doing rebound stuff.

- 1:11:32Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: The forty nine Ers beat the Browns twenty six to eight.
- 1:11:38Speaker 7: What was that?
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: Dang?
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: I mean right now?
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: Okay, here we go up. The Jaguars beat the Titans
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: twenty five to three.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: I'd have picked that one.
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: Okay. The Texans beat the Colts twenty to sixteen.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: I'd have picked that one.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Really, yeah, really, you'd have picked us?
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Yeah? Okay, you know, good Hairwell, I wouldn't have picture.
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: Too much.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Here we go up.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: The Dolphins beat the Saints twenty one to seventeen.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's an easy pick. Yeah yeah, Who about
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Tash about it. Who I love Tash? He loved the Saints.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: What they got to do with it? We got each other.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: I got Tash and he got the Saints.
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: Yeah, all right.
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: The Jets beat the Falcons twenty seventy twenty.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I got to pick that.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: Yeah, Okay. The Panthers beat the Rams thirty one to
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: twenty eight.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I have to pick the Panthers. Panthers rolling, man,
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: I've been picking the Panthers a lot later.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Yay, sly Okay.
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: Now the Buccaneers beat the Cardinals twenty to seventeen.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: Uh yeah, I got to pick that, okay, Okay.

- 1:13:12Speaker 3: What.

- 1:13:16Speaker 4: I'd have picked that, okay, and then Unk the Broncos
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: beat the Commanders twenty seven to twenty six. He's picked
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: that one.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: Uh yeah, I would have picked that, but that would
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: have hurt me though.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: Okay, here's what I want to ask you about. Why
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: you didn't pick the Texans to beat the CAUs why
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: you just wouldn't pick us up?
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Cause I don't. I don't care if you and tell
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: me there you here really ain't got nothing to do
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: with the Texas man, I just don't care. Give smug
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: attitude talking about 'all going to playoffs and all that. Okay,
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: super Bowl, you ain't going to know where close to
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: the super Bowl.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Thank you guys, thank you you. And you're coming up.
- 1:13:54Speaker 9: At the top of the hour, A man on social
- 1:13:56Speaker 9: media needs some advice, Dave. He says, how many Christmas
- 1:13:59Speaker 9: parties are enough? We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:14:03Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:14:10Speaker 9: this is from Trent on Steve Harvey FM. Trent says,
- 1:14:14Speaker 9: now that Thanksgiving is over, it's on to Christmas. Thanksgiving
- 1:14:18Speaker 9: was busy enough, but I had no clue about the
- 1:14:21Speaker 9: number of Christmas parties my wife had committed to committed
- 1:14:25Speaker 9: us to. When she laid out the list, there were
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: nine of them. And that doesn't include the work party
- 1:14:31Speaker 9: that I will have to go to.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: This is way too much.
- 1:14:34Speaker 9: Nine parties I need to get my wife to cut
- 1:14:37Speaker 9: this list down significantly before I approach her with this conversation.
- 1:14:43Speaker 9: Morning crew, Please tell me how many Christmas parties are enough?
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Well, I don't know what. You don't have to do,
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: but you don't have to get up. You got to
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: get a positive COVID test?
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: What what?
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: Yeah, when we'll get out of the Christmas plot, you're
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: gonna have to get a positive COVID test though.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: You gotta get sick.
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you just can't.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: There's no way you could just have a regular conversation
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: with his wife.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: Oh, you have it, But she committed to this.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: He's at least gotta go to the office party with her.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: Well, he's going to the two office parties.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Gotta do that. Yeah, okay, not to excessive, it's very much.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: My wife would have never done that because she don't
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: want to do that nine Christmas.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Or if you commit to the nine, you just know
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: your husband going to too.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't think of nine people I like, I
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: don't like you?
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: Well, how many is on the show? You love everyone?
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: I'm not coming to y'all Christmas party? No, Junior. Ain't
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: nobody coming to your house on Junior Because you're over
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: there choking people. So no, we're not coming to your
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: house there arguing about who daddy? Oh then and who mama?
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: And then and then and then and then Otensary over
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: there crying and all like that. Ain't nobody.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: But back to you, Steve. You're gonna give us a
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Christmas party? You used to do that.
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: What's happened?
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Well, bonuses all of that.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Well, you know, things ain't what they used.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: To be, you know, inflation, prices, taking crime, you.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Know, trumpet off them tails, cut in on that Christmas part. Yeah,
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: sit over here, shutting all them terms on everybody. We
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: can't from bonuses.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Yeah we've had yeah yeah, oh yeah, so.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: We ain't had a bonus? Is Junior been here?
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: Not one?
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: Didn't have a whole another family? People not liking you? Yeah,
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Junior salary cut into the bonus structure?
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: What oh is that? How it happened?
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: Well, you know, Junior si y'all bonuses was I had
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: to pay him out a summer and then when I
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: had to start paying Junior, that was the bonus structure.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Oh okay, bye, nice knowing you, Junior. Nice working with
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: you by groceries. Get out of here, Junior, no eggs,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: no baked gas.
- 1:17:41Speaker 9: All right, we have time for another one, Steve. This
- 1:17:43Speaker 9: is from Angel on Steve Harvey.
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: F M.
- 1:17:46Speaker 9: Angel says, my my, my mom has always struggled with relationships.
- 1:17:50Speaker 9: She and my dad split when I was a teenager,
- 1:17:52Speaker 9: and from my perspective, he was.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: A great guy. She should have tried harder to hold
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: on to.
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: Since then, she's had one bad relationship after another until
- 1:18:02Speaker 9: usually because she pushes away the.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Good ones and clings to men who treat her poorly.
- 1:18:07Speaker 9: Now she's finally with a genuinely nice guy, and I'm
- 1:18:10Speaker 9: terrified she's going to mess this up too. From the outside,
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: it seems so obvious how she sabotages her own happiness,
- 1:18:17Speaker 9: but she can't see it. I want to protect her
- 1:18:20Speaker 9: and help her keep something healthy for once, but I
- 1:18:23Speaker 9: have no idea how to get her to recognize her
- 1:18:26Speaker 9: own patterns and avoid her hurting.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: Well, it's her, Yeah, it's her. It may not even
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: be the guys. It could just be her. Yeah, that's
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: yas mint she Oh, you can't help it.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Oh, okay, look at the all right, we'll have more
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:58Speaker 9: You know, guys, we all a good pedicure, but you
- 1:19:02Speaker 9: have you heard about or seen this fish pedicure?
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Have you seen this new trend? Well, it's not really new,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: but have you seen it?
- 1:19:08Speaker 9: It's when people stick their bare feet into the water
- 1:19:11Speaker 9: and the fish swarm around their toes and gently eat
- 1:19:14Speaker 9: away the dead skin cells and calluses, leaving their feet
- 1:19:18Speaker 9: supposedly silky and smooth. So you put your feet in
- 1:19:22Speaker 9: water with live fish. However, the process has uh huh,
- 1:19:26Speaker 9: there's no way.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: There's no freaking way.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: Nah, it'll be so many fish on that slope. Yeah,
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: just kicking fish out the lot.
- 1:19:42Speaker 9: However, the process has come under legal scrutiny, even being
- 1:19:45Speaker 9: outlawed in some US states. The problem isn't necessarily the fish,
- 1:19:49Speaker 9: it's the environment there in it's often hard to tell
- 1:19:52Speaker 9: if the process is sanitary, and you don't know what
- 1:19:55Speaker 9: kind of bacteria the fish could be carrying. Doctors say,
- 1:19:58Speaker 9: a good foot scrub exfoliates just as well and it's
- 1:20:02Speaker 9: a lot safer.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: So there's no way you would try this, right, A fish.
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: Pepper, what a joke I got? I ain't gonna make
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: it on the air, holl.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: I can't do this when you send to yourself, we
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: know it's bad. Yeah, there's no way.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: That's a hall one man. New fish nibbling on your.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Heart, Yeah, they say gently nibbling.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: But just you know, I have coy fish and I
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: can feed them by hand.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: Coyfish are used to me. They come and eat out
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: your hand. But even that's a little bit. You know,
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: they don't have teeth.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: All right, we'll have no fish pedicures for us, not
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: around it?
- 1:20:39Speaker 9: Would you rather coming up right after this? You're listening
- 1:20:42Speaker 9: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Around the holidays, it's hard to find the right gifts,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: but you know it's even harder getting the right gift.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: But get this.
- 1:20:55Speaker 9: Verizon's got the perfect solve for both. They have incredible
- 1:20:59Speaker 9: gift bundles. You get the latest phone with a new
- 1:21:03Speaker 9: line on my plan and a brand new smart watch
- 1:21:06Speaker 9: and tablet, no trade in needed. You can give a
- 1:21:09Speaker 9: couple away and get yourself one too, or you could
- 1:21:12Speaker 9: keep them all to yourself.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: No one has to know.
- 1:21:14Speaker 9: Stop by your local Verizon. It is time now for
- 1:21:18Speaker 9: a round it would you rather here we go?
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: Guys? Would you rather wash your favorite.
- 1:21:23Speaker 9: Football team's offensive line players jockey straps.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Would you'd rather do that?
- 1:21:28Speaker 9: Or would you rather have your favorite player traded to
- 1:21:31Speaker 9: your most hated team traded?
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: You're not watching jockey strap.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: No, I'm not watching nobody anybody? Okay?
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Would you rather walk or drive in the snow?
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: I mean I could do both? The first time I
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: ever drove a car the snow? Really, y'all? Thirteen? Wow,
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: fear Liddy, It's no all the time you drive snow?
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I guess we'll google you.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Keep driving snow? But ice that that black ice?
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: Yeah? All right?
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Uh? Would you rather you can.
- 1:22:16Speaker 9: Listen only to one song until Christmas? Or would you
- 1:22:19Speaker 9: rather This Christmas by Donny Hathaway or Silent Night by
- 1:22:23Speaker 9: The Temptation.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: No, that's the only one you could listen to Hathaway Man. Yeah,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: that's that's the tone I need my mind and in
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: my mind, those are my two favorite songs.
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:22:47Speaker 9: Would you rather play Santa or would you rather pay
- 1:22:50Speaker 9: play the Grench at the office holiday party, which we're
- 1:22:54Speaker 9: still trying to see we're gonna.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: Have, well, Junior gonna have to beat the Grinch this year.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: I gotta be the Grin because you're choking people. You
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: don't know how to keep your hands to yourself.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: All right, So so the Grinch and well that means
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: you'll be Santa, then, Steve.
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: Sannah.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: When are we gonna have the Christmas party? Did you
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: set the date?
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: Jons, No, you're not. You can't have the Christmas I
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: told you. Junior salary cut into all of that. That's
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: why I stopped. Y'all didn't y'all didn't see that. It's
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: not a coincidence since Junior been here, that hasn't been
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: any Christmas parties or all bonuses Junior is the bonus.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: You here yourself.
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: You're not throwing your Christmas party because you have an employee.
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: I'm an employee. The money that I spend on Junior
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: is you don't make a lot of money if you
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: spend up money. Yeah, you split up Junior your money
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: by fault. That's y'all's bonuses. And that was the Christmas party.
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: All this is on Junior.
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: Can we can we not talk about that?
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: You can ask Junior. Ah, you know he like to help.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Party, But Junior, are you gonna throw us at Christmas party?
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: At your fault.

- 1:24:22Speaker 4: Hell no, I can't do.
- 1:24:24Speaker 10: Coming up in forty nine minutes after we will close

- 1:25:30Speaker 1: you know got here quickly.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: I was talking a little bit about I kind of
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: thought about some things today, but you know what I
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: wanted to give all my final thoughts to today. It's
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: about your personal piece. Uh, Discovering your personal piece is valuable.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: You know, we were doing a story that a lady
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: had called in and she saw her she called her
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: husband three times on her his phone, and she looked
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: outside and he was just sitting in his car. But
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: he wasn't picking up the phone. He was just sitting
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: there and she called him three times, and it aggravated
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: the woman that he would ignore her call when she
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: was just calling to see if he was okay. And
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: I was just saying in my response to the caller
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: that you know, your husband was just gathering himself. He
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: was just having a peaceful moment. He just you don't
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: know what. Sometimes somebody's dealing with her going through and
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: they just need to collect themselves. Well, she had an
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: attitude about it and was that upset with her husband
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: for ignoring the call, and I just kind of understood it.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: I've been there before. But I got to tell you,
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: some ladies, every last one of your men have done that.
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: I got news for you. You've done that. Every woman
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: has done that. Just looked at the phone and went,
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: uh uh, not today. And you know what, you have
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: every right to do that because, folks, I'm telling you
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: you have got to start protecting your peace. And everybody
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: not gonna understand it, because when the disruptor of the
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: peace wants something, needs something, they gonna make their call
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: and they don't care what it disturbs. Well, sometimes you
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: have to stop it. You know, you ever been on
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: a merry go round? Remember when you were a kid
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: and you skit on the merry go round And it
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: was fun for a while, but then after a while
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: you go, I gotta get off the merry go round.
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: It's too much. It's too much spinning. I'm dizzy. Life
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: can do the same thing to you. Sometimes life just
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: get to life and and you need a minute. I've
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: done it. I can't tell you how many times. Man,
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: he's sitting somewhere having a peace for a moment and
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: my phone ring. I look at that call the idea,
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: and I know exactly who it is. But no, no, no, no, no, no, man,
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: You're not not my piece that I'm having right now.
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: I had an employee you called me the other day,
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: and I just didn't have the time because I already
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: know this little needy, little employee I got. This guy
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: is just and so then here come the text. I
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: really need to speak to you. It's really it's important.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: I really need to speak to you. It's an emergency. No, no, man,
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: call your parents, Call your parents. Don't don't call your boss.
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: Call your parents. You got parents, I know them. Call
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: your parents because I have to protect my peace.
- 1:28:48Speaker 4: Folks.
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: It's nothing wrong with protecting your peace, because if you
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: let people disrupt your peace any time and every time
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: they want to, you're not gonna have any You just
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: not gonna have it. Every mother deserves a piece. Every
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: time your child wants something, it's not an emergency. Every
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: time your husband wants something, it's not ain't your job, husbands,
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: every time your wife wants something, it's just some of
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: the stuff. Man. You just need a minute. You just
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: need a minute, and you know creator read. Hey, look,
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: I'm sorry I was busy or what you need, but
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: have your peace for a moment. I tell you something
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: else I do people is not related to me, my
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: kids and my wife. When I get that call, hey man,
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: I really need to talk to you. It's important. I
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: wait seventy two hours. I wait seventy two hours cause
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: let me tell you something. Man, These emergencies that people
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: haven't call them back. Hey man, and I call them
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: back in seventy two hours. Hey man, you good. I'm sorry.
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: I was traveling. I just saw your text.
- 1:30:09Speaker 7: You good.
- 1:30:10Speaker 5: Huh.
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: They done forgot because they ain'tn emergency in the world
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: that lasts seventy two hours. Listen to me, There is
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: not any emergency in the world that lasts seventy two hours,
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: not in a single person's life. Now for country at war,
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: yeah we got problem. But in your personal life, no, sir,
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: No sir, no sir, because you're gonna solve that, and
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: you're gonna solve it without me. And then I'm gonna
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: call you as a concern friend and ask you what's
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: going on. But I will make sure that your emergency
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: has passed.
- 1:30:47Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: If you my kids, my wife, I gotta jump on it.
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: I gotta do my job. But I know way too
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: many people where I need to try to be the
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: answer for everybody, and so do you. You are usually
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: the one that they call anyway, and they call you
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: first because they know you got sense and you're doing
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: better than them, and they know you got some money.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: So here they come. Well, if you didn't know me,
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: what would you do. Let's try that. That's why I
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: wait seventy two hours, because you know what it is, y'all,
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: and you must feel this way too. I get tired
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: of being everybody's option A. Sometimes I choose to be
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: my own option a and it does not include you. Today.
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: Thank you for not disturbing my peace. But I thank
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: you more for me for recognizing that I don't have
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: to allow you to disturb my peace either. Those are
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: my clothes and remarks today, Junior, have a good one man,
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: stop choking people. Hey, listen, y'all talk to God today.
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: He would absolutely love to hear from.
- 1:32:00Speaker 8: All.
