So many instances of laughter, sadness, revelation, discovery and contemplation with stories worthy of sharing. Many people I coach have a gift of gab, but not the gift of shut up, listen and converse, just gab. They are good with starting a story, filling it with useless details, occupying a load of emotional space and filling time with word salads, but having a genuine conversation seems over the top. I believe part of the problem is, they don’t know WHICH story is relevant in the moment…
