Trump jumped right back in to an interview, justifying his corruption, rewriting his past, and making it clear that he has plans to make the American people pay him actual money through the government. In a disturbing exchange, Trump discussed using his position to extract $10 billion from taxpayers in a lawsuit against the government. This is the kind of shameless self-dealing that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.We are watching in real time as an authoritarian tests the boundaries of what Americans will tolerate. The question is whether we will stand up and push back.
