- 1:47Speaker 3: of the moat up. Wouldn't come.

- 2:02Speaker 5: I sure will come on and everybody you are listening
- 2:06Speaker 5: to the voice, come on now. Dig me for one
- 2:09Speaker 5: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Thank God
- 2:13Speaker 5: for it all the time too. Well, here we go today.
- 2:17Speaker 5: I want to share something with you that will help
- 2:20Speaker 5: you because it's helped me.
- 2:23Speaker 1: You know.
- 2:23Speaker 4: I was.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Telling the story once that in this magazine called Rob Report,
- 2:31Speaker 5: that there was a statue I used to see for years.
- 2:34Speaker 5: I started buying Rob Report magazines years ago. So I
- 2:40Speaker 5: just wanted to see what affluent people did, you know,
- 2:43Speaker 5: just wanted to see what people with means did, what
- 2:47Speaker 5: type of investments they did, what they bought, you know,
- 2:50Speaker 5: where they traveled to the Rob Report. It's just like
- 2:52Speaker 5: a it's like a big boy toy magazine. You can
- 2:56Speaker 5: see what cars is out. You know, I didn't have
- 2:59Speaker 5: money for none of it. I was dreaming, though, you know,
- 3:01Speaker 5: I just wanted to see. And there was a statue
- 3:06Speaker 5: inside this magazine of this man who was coming out
- 3:11Speaker 5: of this bronze rock. And he was completely bronze, and
- 3:15Speaker 5: he was muscular, and you know, he didn't look nothing
- 3:19Speaker 5: like me, but he was a man coming up out
- 3:21Speaker 5: of a rock. And he had a huge hammer and
- 3:23Speaker 5: a chisel in his hand. And as his body from
- 3:27Speaker 5: the waist up was coming out of this huge piece
- 3:30Speaker 5: of stone, you could see where it was him who
- 3:32Speaker 5: had been chiseling in forming himself. So the name of
- 3:36Speaker 5: the statue was self made man. And for years man
- 3:40Speaker 5: I said, Man, I'm gonna get a big house one day,
- 3:42Speaker 5: and I'm gonna put that statue in the backyard in
- 3:45Speaker 5: the corner. That's gonna be my little spot where I
- 3:48Speaker 5: go chill, because I'm a self made man. Well, after
- 3:53Speaker 5: years of working at becoming somebody and having reached a
- 4:00Speaker 5: degree of success, I would have nothing to do with
- 4:05Speaker 5: that statue. There's nothing about that statue that appeals to
- 4:09Speaker 5: me anymore. Because on my journey and in my quest
- 4:14Speaker 5: to become what I thought would be this self made man,
- 4:18Speaker 5: where I could put this statue and had this statue
- 4:21Speaker 5: in the corner be kind of cold symbolizing it.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I had made it.
- 4:24Speaker 5: I realized on my journey there's no such thing as
- 4:28Speaker 5: a self made man. That we all need help, and
- 4:32Speaker 5: that God places people in our paths along the way
- 4:37Speaker 5: that benefit us oftentimes. And it's the most unlikely person
- 4:42Speaker 5: often times, and it's the most unlikely way that He
- 4:45Speaker 5: presents these people in front of you. It's crazy how
- 4:48Speaker 5: he does it.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Man.
- 4:50Speaker 5: And so this is a statue now that I look
- 4:52Speaker 5: at and I go, I see what the creator was saying.
- 4:55Speaker 5: And that's cool, but not for me, because I needed help.
- 5:02Speaker 5: And I've learned a lot of things like this along
- 5:04Speaker 5: the way. And the part I wanted to share with
- 5:08Speaker 5: you all about this is you've got to develop You've
- 5:12Speaker 5: got to develop a sense of purpose. You have to
- 5:16Speaker 5: develop a sense of purpose that's different. See, your purpose
- 5:23Speaker 5: is created for you by God because when He created
- 5:29Speaker 5: you as an individual from whatever two parents you may have,
- 5:33Speaker 5: that's not important here. When he created you, he had
- 5:37Speaker 5: something in mind for you, and it was a purpose.
- 5:42Speaker 5: God has not created a single soul to become a criminal.
- 5:46Speaker 5: God has never created a single soul to be a
- 5:49Speaker 5: drug dealer. This came about through some decisions we made
- 5:54Speaker 5: as sinners, and we stayed in that place. But see
- 5:59Speaker 5: what he created. He has a wonderful idea for us.
- 6:04Speaker 5: But God gives us human beings this thing called choice,
- 6:06Speaker 5: and we have the power to decide. So you can
- 6:09Speaker 5: decide if you're going to adhere to the purpose that
- 6:12Speaker 5: God created you and made you for, or you can
- 6:16Speaker 5: go ahead and make some choices on your own. So like,
- 6:19Speaker 5: if God wanted to give you a life and give
- 6:21Speaker 5: it to come to you and give you life more abundantly,
- 6:24Speaker 5: and that's his promise if you come to him, if
- 6:26Speaker 5: you choose him, then cool. But if you say, well
- 6:31Speaker 5: this ain't moving along fast enough, I'm gonna get my
- 6:33Speaker 5: own life of abundance, I'm gonna start slanging. Well, guess
- 6:36Speaker 5: what now, Tada, You made a decision and seek God's
- 6:42Speaker 5: decisions and choices. The one thing I learned about them,
- 6:45Speaker 5: God's decisions, choices, his voice, It has no sin in it.
- 6:49Speaker 5: And it amazing how many people it came up to
- 6:51Speaker 5: you and said, the Lord wanted me to do this
- 6:53Speaker 5: to you, and I'm doing it. That God is punishing
- 6:55Speaker 5: you and I'm doing this to you because God gonna
- 6:58Speaker 5: see that you get your day.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Who is this person?
- 7:02Speaker 5: Who is this person that God all of a sudden
- 7:05Speaker 5: gave this authority and power to God didn't get at
- 7:07Speaker 5: the nobody, man, nobody, This person only had the right
- 7:11Speaker 5: to hold you to your past, the right to make
- 7:14Speaker 5: you pay. So who makes them pay when they make mistakes?
- 7:18Speaker 5: Because they all make them. So when I say you
- 7:22Speaker 5: have to have a sense of you have to develop
- 7:24Speaker 5: a strong sense of purpose. That means you have to
- 7:27Speaker 5: strongly get in touch with your creator to find out
- 7:29Speaker 5: what the purpose you were created for. See, it's two
- 7:34Speaker 5: things that I had to learn along the way. My
- 7:36Speaker 5: career was what I was paid for. My calling is
- 7:41Speaker 5: what I was made for. See, it's two different things, folks.
- 7:46Speaker 5: It took me a long time to learn it. Some
- 7:49Speaker 5: people think that they calling is to be a performer. Well,
- 7:53Speaker 5: that's what you paid for, and a big part of
- 7:56Speaker 5: your life is your performance. It's tied directly to your gift.
- 8:00Speaker 5: But what you made for, though, what you made for
- 8:03Speaker 5: is to bring about some significant change in another human
- 8:07Speaker 5: beings lives because we are all linked together in this chain.
- 8:11Speaker 5: That's what you are here for. Everybody has a purpose
- 8:15Speaker 5: to do something wonderful, meaningful, or impactful for another person.
- 8:21Speaker 5: You think the God that invented the airplane was merely
- 8:24Speaker 5: inventing the airplane so he could fly. Now, his purpose
- 8:30Speaker 5: was to become an inventor, to come up with this
- 8:32Speaker 5: invention so he could fly and we all fly.
- 8:36Speaker 1: See.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Sometimes God will make you successful so you can become
- 8:40Speaker 5: successful so you can turn around to teach other people
- 8:42Speaker 5: how to become successful. God save people, so you can
- 8:46Speaker 5: turn around it tell other people how wonderful it is
- 8:48Speaker 5: to be saved. You see how this thing work. That's
- 8:52Speaker 5: what we have to do as people. And it's nothing
- 8:55Speaker 5: that we have to go and discover. We have to
- 8:57Speaker 5: go and develop it. But if you haven't discovered your purpose,
- 9:00Speaker 5: it's simply because here's it. If you haven't discovered your purpose,
- 9:05Speaker 5: it's simply because you have not contacted the creator and
- 9:11Speaker 5: maker of your soul to ask and find out why
- 9:17Speaker 5: you were created. It's as simple as that. If you
- 9:24Speaker 5: buy a toyota, there's an owner's manual on the inside
- 9:29Speaker 5: that will tell you everything you know how to best
- 9:33Speaker 5: operate your toyota, how to make it work, how what
- 9:36Speaker 5: to do They got a troubleshooting section. Your faith is
- 9:41Speaker 5: the same thing as an owner's manual in your car.
- 9:45Speaker 5: Open up that book, man, find out how to jumpstart
- 9:49Speaker 5: your life, how to troubleshoot it and get on with
- 9:51Speaker 5: your life, and find out your purpose and develop a
- 9:54Speaker 5: strong sense of purpose.
- 9:56Speaker 6: All right, Okay, you're listening hard morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Lady. Slip me half your attention to this is the
- 10:08Speaker 1: quiet Stones, dude.
- 10:12Speaker 4: That was it.
- 10:13Speaker 1: That's all I wanted to do.
- 10:14Speaker 5: I was gonna do smoking Robinson's cruising, but I didn't
- 10:17Speaker 5: have a voice for it on it because I just
- 10:20Speaker 5: worked out and I don't feel like it my train.
- 10:22Speaker 5: I don't know what's wrong with him.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Excuse me.
- 10:25Speaker 7: You don't have the voice of Smoky Robinson because you
- 10:28Speaker 7: worked out.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the only reason. That's the only reason.
- 10:31Speaker 7: Called.
- 10:34Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it got it got me early. I
- 10:36Speaker 5: had it, but to workout through it, you know, yeah, yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 5: you know. And you know what right now, Like, since
- 10:47Speaker 5: I ain't never done smoke, it can't nobody to say
- 10:49Speaker 5: I ain't.
- 10:51Speaker 4: He I do.
- 10:53Speaker 1: When I lie, I do unverifiable lie. That's the thing
- 10:58Speaker 1: about it.
- 11:01Speaker 5: No, hell no, you know all that's why Roscoe Wallace
- 11:05Speaker 5: wins all the time. Yes, yeah, Ladies and gentlemen, this
- 11:10Speaker 5: is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shirley Strawberry, Calin Farrell,
- 11:15Speaker 5: Mouth of the South, Junior or government. Name is kill Space,
- 11:20Speaker 5: a man, founder of Kill's Hopes. Yes, sir, Yeah, they run, walk,
- 11:26Speaker 5: They do everything long as it's warm. They don't do
- 11:30Speaker 5: no cold weather activities for this foundation. No sub Ladies
- 11:36Speaker 5: and gentlemen, the legend that is Nephew Tommy. You know
- 11:42Speaker 5: what's on your mind to day?
- 11:43Speaker 4: Oh?
- 11:44Speaker 1: Man, I want to talk to you about something. Month man,
- 11:45Speaker 1: let me ask you this. Man, This is important for
- 11:48Speaker 1: man understanding man just prayer.
- 11:51Speaker 8: Man understanding how to pray and what I'm praying for,
- 11:55Speaker 8: because sometimes we may not be praying the right prayer.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Is it always something about Lord, let me have or
- 12:01Speaker 1: can I want? Let me say this.
- 12:03Speaker 5: My answer is not gonna be a perfect answer. All
- 12:06Speaker 5: I know is what I have had to learn to
- 12:10Speaker 5: incorporate in my prayer. When I ask for something, I
- 12:14Speaker 5: always ask Him to guide me in his will, because
- 12:20Speaker 5: I have asked for a lot of things that really
- 12:24Speaker 5: wasn't good for me or really wasn't in the plan,
- 12:28Speaker 5: and I wasted a lot of prayers like that because
- 12:31Speaker 5: what he wanted and had for me, I was trying
- 12:34Speaker 5: to go in another direction. So now when I ask
- 12:36Speaker 5: for stuff, always say if it's in your will. But
- 12:39Speaker 5: then mostly now I go, Lord, fix it how you
- 12:43Speaker 5: want me to be and order my steps, you know,
- 12:46Speaker 5: put me in that direction. If you ask God to
- 12:49Speaker 5: order your steps, he'll do it for you as you
- 12:52Speaker 5: self received.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I just want to try to do your will, you know.
- 12:57Speaker 5: Now, sometimes as a human I fight against that, you know,
- 13:00Speaker 5: because it's uncomfortable sometimes, but that's it is.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Life is uncomfortable.
- 13:06Speaker 5: You have to make uncomfortable decisions and you have to
- 13:09Speaker 5: get comfortable being uncomfortable if you ever want to be successful.
- 13:14Speaker 1: So that's how I pray you can. Can you instead
- 13:17Speaker 1: of ordering your steps? Can you order a house or
- 13:19Speaker 1: order a cart? Can you order other things?
- 13:22Speaker 5: Well?
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yes, you can ask for.
- 13:27Speaker 6: Morning Show.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I have asked for it. I have ordered get a cracking.
- 13:34Speaker 9: Coming up a minute after the hour, we're gonna hear
- 13:39Speaker 9: once more from the nephew as he runs that prank
- 13:42Speaker 9: back right after this, you're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 13:48Speaker 9: and this time now to start your morning off with
- 13:50Speaker 9: the Nephew and run that prank back?

- 19:09Speaker 7: Okay, Okay, I'm gonna tell you something about your wife.
- 19:11Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell you something about your wife.
- 19:13Speaker 4: That you don't know. If I don't know it, don't
- 19:15Speaker 4: know somebody else know it?
- 19:16Speaker 1: Oh?
- 19:17Speaker 4: I know it.
- 19:17Speaker 5: Me and her know it.
- 19:18Speaker 1: When I just got off the phone with her. You
- 19:21Speaker 1: want to know? You want me tell you what your
- 19:22Speaker 1: wife told me?
- 19:23Speaker 4: Man, say what you have to say.
- 19:25Speaker 7: I'm gonna say this right here, I'm gonna say this punk.
- 19:28Speaker 7: This his nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 19:31Speaker 7: Your wife a Yanna got me the prank phone? Your
- 19:35Speaker 7: ignorant man?
- 19:37Speaker 1: How stupid are you? Hello?
- 19:43Speaker 7: This nephew, Tommy man from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 19:46Speaker 7: Your wife got me the prank phone? Call?
- 19:48Speaker 5: You do you?
- 19:50Speaker 1: Damn you?
- 19:51Speaker 7: You are more ignorant than me. This Yeah, God, hey, trouble.
- 20:07Speaker 7: I got to ask you this bag, answer this question
- 20:10Speaker 7: for me. What is what is the baddest that, I mean,
- 20:12Speaker 7: the baddest radio show in the lab, the only one
- 20:15Speaker 7: with nephew.
- 20:17Speaker 4: I'll tell you that.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Oh man. Alright, trail man, you'll be easy man, go
- 20:25Speaker 1: light on, y'all.
- 20:26Speaker 4: All right, I'm a we'll tell Steve.
- 20:28Speaker 5: I say what.
- 20:34Speaker 1: All like I say, is I did that? I did that?
- 20:39Speaker 6: You met your match on that one.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Sorry?
- 20:41Speaker 1: You're what I say at play pranking worship. It's pranking worship,
- 20:47Speaker 1: all right.
- 20:48Speaker 6: Nephew, thank you.
- 20:49Speaker 9: Coming up next, it is asked the c l O
- 20:52Speaker 9: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building for your
- 20:56Speaker 9: love questions. Right after this, you're listening hard Morning show,
- 21:02Speaker 9: it is time for your favorite segment. Steve asked the
- 21:04Speaker 9: CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey, Ready for your love questions?
- 21:11Speaker 9: This one is from Tally in Kansas. Tally writes, my
- 21:14Speaker 9: seven year old son came home and told me that
- 21:16Speaker 9: his dad has a new girlfriend and he hates her.
- 21:20Speaker 9: I told him that's not nice to say about anyone,
- 21:22Speaker 9: and he said she made two steaks for her and
- 21:26Speaker 9: his dad, and she gave him chicken tenders. I spoke
- 21:29Speaker 9: to my ex and asked if my son was telling
- 21:31Speaker 9: the truth, and he said that his child is fine
- 21:34Speaker 9: with chicken tenders.
- 21:35Speaker 1: He's only seven.
- 21:37Speaker 9: Now we've got a problem because my ex is on
- 21:40Speaker 9: board with his unequal treatment of his own child. Should
- 21:43Speaker 9: I talk to Should I have a talk with them
- 21:45Speaker 9: before this gets any worse?
- 21:47Speaker 4: What?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Well, we have a situation here, Tally.
- 21:53Speaker 5: First, your question was your son hates your exes new
- 21:59Speaker 5: boyfriend real, Well, now you have her, Well you hate
- 22:04Speaker 5: her now, So we're not everybody in teleyhouse hate the
- 22:08Speaker 5: new girl. So now we do have a problem. And
- 22:12Speaker 5: you've spoken to him and the seven year old on
- 22:15Speaker 5: his steak. Now I can understand. I don't know why
- 22:19Speaker 5: you got these chicken tenders turned into hate for you.
- 22:23Speaker 5: I would have been more than happy when I was
- 22:24Speaker 5: seven and plus when I was seven. Back in them days,
- 22:27Speaker 5: I wasn't allowed to say I didn't want nothing. I
- 22:29Speaker 5: hate them damn chicken tenders, and shut my damn mouth.
- 22:31Speaker 5: I don't up my mouth about them damn chicken tenders.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Them chicken tenders would have got packed up in me
- 22:37Speaker 5: and it wouldn't have been as hard to go to.
- 22:38Speaker 1: The bathroom next time. So that's any way it would
- 22:44Speaker 1: have happened.
- 22:45Speaker 5: Yeah, you know what, now you just let these chicken
- 22:47Speaker 5: tenders out the next time you go. So that's what
- 22:50Speaker 5: it would have happened.
- 22:50Speaker 1: In him. Do you have a little situation.
- 22:53Speaker 5: I think you should just talk to him or your ex,
- 22:57Speaker 5: and he really would have been fine to chicken tenders.
- 23:01Speaker 5: I think this is an overreaction. Your boy's seven years old.
- 23:04Speaker 5: He's smart, he's manipulative. He know to come in here
- 23:08Speaker 5: with you and say the right thing. So please be
- 23:11Speaker 5: aware of how smart and cunning kids are. I'm gonna
- 23:14Speaker 5: come in and upset my mama. I'm gonna tell her
- 23:17Speaker 5: I hate her because they had steaks and they gave
- 23:19Speaker 5: me chicken tenders. Well, you know, you got a little
- 23:23Speaker 5: bitty ass teeth, so you know you got a little
- 23:26Speaker 5: baby teeth, little baby teeth posted to eat chicken tenders.
- 23:29Speaker 5: I don't think it's that big of a deal, and
- 23:31Speaker 5: I wouldn't let this little boy drive a wedge in
- 23:34Speaker 5: it right down. This unequal treatment is because he's not equal.
- 23:38Speaker 5: What you don't like is it was done by the
- 23:41Speaker 5: new girlfriend, and he made sure you knew it. Quite
- 23:46Speaker 5: a snick mood from the seven year old that loves
- 23:48Speaker 5: his mother deally tally, and he's just doing what little
- 23:52Speaker 5: boys do because he doesn't know yet that it's okay
- 23:55Speaker 5: to love two people. He does not know that yet,
- 23:59Speaker 5: and so he's sides and he's chosen you. But let's
- 24:03Speaker 5: not make it any harder than it can be.
- 24:06Speaker 6: Yeah, very good.
- 24:06Speaker 5: The chicken tenders was fine?
- 24:08Speaker 6: Feel low, all right? Moving on to Aaron in Oklahoma.
- 24:12Speaker 9: Aaron says, my mother's sixty four year old boyfriend makes
- 24:15Speaker 9: comments about my butt and it's making me uncomfortable. I'm
- 24:19Speaker 9: five to three and I'm a curby girl, but I
- 24:21Speaker 9: dress very conservatively. I've told my mother that he is
- 24:24Speaker 9: a dirty old man, and she said he means no harm.
- 24:26Speaker 9: It is underhanded way of giving a compliment. My husband
- 24:31Speaker 9: is about to get involved since my mom thinks it's cute.
- 24:35Speaker 9: I'm forty years old, so I don't need my husband's help.
- 24:38Speaker 9: How do I stop this dirty old fool?
- 24:40Speaker 5: Uh uh no, No, I let your husband helele it.
- 24:44Speaker 5: Let your husband handle it. You gonna will be learning,
- 24:48Speaker 5: but just let him hand it. You're forty, You don't
- 24:51Speaker 5: need your husband.
- 24:51Speaker 1: You don't.
- 24:53Speaker 5: But the husband can talk to him a little bit
- 24:55Speaker 5: different in a man. Any more comments about my lady behind.
- 24:59Speaker 5: It's going to be a problem for you with your behind.
- 25:01Speaker 5: You just got a little man said it'll end a
- 25:03Speaker 5: lot quicker. See you then already went to yo mama
- 25:07Speaker 5: about it. It didn't work out. Now you're gonna go
- 25:10Speaker 5: to him. How you think it's gonna work out? Let
- 25:12Speaker 5: your husband talk to the man and it'll be done.
- 25:16Speaker 5: It's just a respectful conversation. He that's sixty four year old,
- 25:20Speaker 5: don't want it forty. He don't want that fast?
- 25:23Speaker 1: What he won't fast?
- 25:25Speaker 5: See I'm sixty four. I'm telling you that ain't what
- 25:27Speaker 5: we want. Look at the bright scared of it, but
- 25:32Speaker 5: we don't need that. A lot of speed moving around
- 25:36Speaker 5: in that room, and it ain't coming from him. A
- 25:41Speaker 5: lot of speed in that room, a lot of endings,
- 25:43Speaker 5: and it ain't coming from the sixty four year old.
- 25:47Speaker 6: All right, moving, that's behind though, You're on point.
- 25:51Speaker 9: This morning, Celo Courtney in Tampa writes that I am
- 25:55Speaker 9: recently divorced and I have a crush on my coworker.
- 25:58Speaker 9: I heard he's messing with another girl at work, so
- 26:00Speaker 9: I don't need or want any drama. He won't admit
- 26:04Speaker 9: that he's messing around, but the fact that he's sinking
- 26:06Speaker 9: around with me makes me believe it's true. We've done
- 26:09Speaker 9: everything except go all the way, and I want him badly,
- 26:13Speaker 9: but for some reason, he's holding back. I invited him
- 26:16Speaker 9: to my house, but he won't come. Does this mean
- 26:19Speaker 9: he is with another woman and he's trying to be
- 26:21Speaker 9: faithful to her?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Lady? Are you for real?
- 26:24Speaker 5: Huh?
- 26:24Speaker 6: Yep, she's for real.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Wait are you for real? Courtney?
- 26:28Speaker 5: You all have done everything but go all the way.
- 26:31Speaker 5: He won't go all the way. You invited him to
- 26:33Speaker 5: your house, but he won't come. You know he's dating
- 26:36Speaker 5: a coworker that he's fooling around with. You don't want
- 26:39Speaker 5: no drama, but you right on the edge of creating drama.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I can't.
- 26:44Speaker 5: I can't help you, Courtney, because it seems to me
- 26:47Speaker 5: like you want to do what you want to do regardless.
- 26:50Speaker 5: Now you just need Uncle Steve's permission. I'm not gonna
- 26:53Speaker 5: give it to you.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Good, that's what she wants. You're dating this man is
- 26:58Speaker 1: dating another woman on the job. But he won't admit it.
- 27:01Speaker 1: But you know it.
- 27:02Speaker 5: He don't admit to you either. You just got divorce.
- 27:06Speaker 5: Why would you jump into somebody that's in a relationship.
- 27:10Speaker 5: That's probably why you got divorced in the first place.
- 27:15Speaker 5: Somebody would meet somebody already in a relationship, Courtney. Let's
- 27:21Speaker 5: not be stupid here, Courtney. There are other men out there.
- 27:26Speaker 5: Open up your pool, get on the day, ap Quit
- 27:30Speaker 5: trying to find your man. At your job and your church.
- 27:33Speaker 5: It's the same people down there every week. Open up
- 27:40Speaker 5: your but it's the same men every week at the church.
- 27:43Speaker 5: Ain't no new men coming to the church. It's new
- 27:46Speaker 5: women coming to the church. Ain't no new men coming
- 27:48Speaker 5: to the church. Men sign up for church like Republicans
- 27:54Speaker 5: sign up for the vaccine.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Damn. And we don't want it right there?
- 28:05Speaker 6: This it leave it right there?
- 28:10Speaker 3: Wow?
- 28:11Speaker 6: Does this mean he is with another woman and he's
- 28:13Speaker 6: trying to be faithful to her.
- 28:16Speaker 1: It means he don't want you. What you're trying to
- 28:20Speaker 1: put it on here? He don't want you.
- 28:22Speaker 5: He'd have done everything with you except go all the way.
- 28:25Speaker 5: You'd invited him over the house and he won't come.
- 28:28Speaker 5: One and one is two. Yes, what you won't whatever
- 28:32Speaker 5: he doing, don't worry about that. He don't, won't you?

- 28:43Speaker 6: thank you, clo. You're listening hard Morning show. All right, Steve,
- 28:50Speaker 6: is that time and game when we need you the most.
- 28:53Speaker 6: We need you to be the judge. It's time for
- 28:55Speaker 6: right or wrong with your nephew.
- 29:01Speaker 5: Have you ever noticed all of the worst segments we
- 29:04Speaker 5: have Tommy is you know it's amazing to be a
- 29:08Speaker 5: part of the worst segment and the best segment. Well,
- 29:12Speaker 5: he's a part of the worst and the best. The
- 29:14Speaker 5: pranks are the best segments, right, wrong.
- 29:17Speaker 1: You just don't like the fact that I make sense.
- 29:19Speaker 1: I wish to try to gang up on me.
- 29:22Speaker 8: You and this really shows you what the A and
- 29:25Speaker 8: M college system is doing. What this really shows me?
- 29:30Speaker 8: He got one ready?
- 29:33Speaker 7: Okay, So let me ask you this, So I asked
- 29:35Speaker 7: him this last night. He ain't respond. Will you tell
- 29:38Speaker 7: him it is rude for a deaf person to do
- 29:42Speaker 7: sign language? Why their mouth is full of food? You
- 29:50Speaker 7: you're not supposed to talk while your mouth is full.
- 29:53Speaker 1: So am I right? You're not supposed to sign language
- 29:57Speaker 1: while you're eating. Tell him.
- 30:03Speaker 2: You're not gonna say just.
- 30:08Speaker 1: So you mean to tell busy if your fingers going,
- 30:14Speaker 1: that's rude.
- 30:17Speaker 5: But if they could chew with their mouth closed and talk,
- 30:22Speaker 5: if you can chew, if you talk without over it
- 30:24Speaker 5: in your mouth.
- 30:26Speaker 7: I saw this at the restaurant and I was a Paul,
- 30:29Speaker 7: this is just rude. You can't be doing sign language
- 30:32Speaker 7: in your mouth.
- 30:34Speaker 1: That rude. I haven't a spell a Paul.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Language.

- 31:26Speaker 8: the person I'm connected to.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Swinging.
- 31:31Speaker 5: I can't believe if you saw the twins and you
- 31:35Speaker 5: in here with this girl, it ain't a wing in hell.
- 31:37Speaker 5: I see.
- 31:43Speaker 6: I love right or wrong.

- 32:39Speaker 7: a call because last week we're on the phone, I said,
- 32:42Speaker 7: you do know the devil is married?
- 32:44Speaker 1: And then he gonna just hang up on me. What
- 32:47Speaker 1: will you tell him the devil is married? I can
- 32:54Speaker 1: tell you marriage.
- 33:07Speaker 7: Is right?
- 33:08Speaker 6: Come on, Johnny, right or wrong? Why why are you
- 33:13Speaker 6: saying that?
- 33:15Speaker 1: Finish it? I know his wife and his ex wife.
- 33:19Speaker 4: Why?
- 33:21Speaker 6: Yeah, more than one way you can get in trouble.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I was just talking about the devil.
- 33:28Speaker 7: I just told him the devil was mad because you know,
- 33:31Speaker 7: because you know when they when they be raining and
- 33:34Speaker 7: sunshine and at the same time, that's when they be arguing.
- 33:37Speaker 1: That's because I know he that's my grandmama say it.
- 33:39Speaker 1: So I need to be the man are you talking about?
- 33:42Speaker 4: No?
- 33:45Speaker 5: No, he actually does have a wife. And would you stop.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Stop it right now? And how much pain was you
- 33:58Speaker 1: in me?
- 33:59Speaker 5: Boy?
- 34:02Speaker 6: I mean we all heard that when we were little,
- 34:04Speaker 6: right when it's raining or whatever.
- 34:07Speaker 5: I've never heard that, and this first time I'm hearing
- 34:09Speaker 5: this for Tommy.
- 34:10Speaker 1: But I am here to confirm so far.
- 34:16Speaker 6: And how do you know it?
- 34:18Speaker 1: Cause I stated.
- 34:25Speaker 5: That.
- 34:25Speaker 1: See, I just didn't work out for you.
- 34:28Speaker 6: Don't say that, Tommy.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Are you doing Tommy what I love? Right or wrong?
- 34:37Speaker 1: This first time? You've ever been two out of three? Okay,
- 34:41Speaker 1: I don't want to say this from you. I'm telling
- 34:44Speaker 1: you you do it.
- 34:45Speaker 5: The death one was the only one I didn't like,
- 34:49Speaker 5: the swinging Siamese and Lucifer's ex wife.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I'd say you got three out of three today. Okay, yeah,
- 35:00Speaker 1: I don't.
- 35:00Speaker 6: But you're the judge, Steve.
- 35:03Speaker 1: No, I think he was.
- 35:04Speaker 5: He was on fire today except for the death talking.
- 35:06Speaker 5: I think it's very gifted. If death person can talk
- 35:08Speaker 5: and chew with his mouth, I think that's a talent.
- 35:14Speaker 5: Let me tell you right now, because my my mouth.
- 35:16Speaker 5: Food fall out my mouth all the time when I'm talking.

- 35:27Speaker 9: Would you rather get a paper cut on your finger
- 35:31Speaker 9: every time you turn the page of a book or
- 35:34Speaker 9: a magazine or something, or would you rather bite your
- 35:37Speaker 9: tongue every time you eat?
- 35:40Speaker 6: So what's worse?
- 35:41Speaker 1: Give me that paper cut? Cut paper cuts.
- 35:44Speaker 5: I'll take the paper book because I ain't reading no
- 35:45Speaker 5: book no way, so that ain't going to be too
- 35:49Speaker 5: much damage. I don't never read more than a page anyway.
- 35:54Speaker 5: I beat a page, bite my damn tongue.
- 35:58Speaker 6: I think I'm rather my tongue.
- 36:01Speaker 1: No, I know you don't. We must ain't never been
- 36:03Speaker 1: it before.
- 36:04Speaker 6: I've been my tongue before. But I don't like paper cuts.
- 36:07Speaker 6: I hate that.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Coming up, and you rather do that cut? I can't bite.
- 36:25Speaker 1: I hate biting my tongue, biting my jaw all.
- 36:32Speaker 6: That is painful.
- 36:33Speaker 1: And when the molars chopped down, look and then you
- 36:38Speaker 1: do it back to back, yes, yes, yes, yes, make
- 36:42Speaker 1: what is wrong with me and take that the heel
- 36:45Speaker 1: in there?
- 36:46Speaker 6: Yeah a long time? All right, here's another one.
- 36:50Speaker 9: Would you rather be a little late, just a little
- 36:53Speaker 9: bit late, or just way too early?
- 36:56Speaker 6: Way too early?
- 36:57Speaker 1: I'm going with the little late. Really, I'm celebrity cordially.

- 37:13Speaker 5: be Yeah, Hey, yeah, I'm sitting up here like I
- 37:14Speaker 5: ain't got no work or nothing.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Hit me for this role. I shouldn't want to do

- 37:23Speaker 1: coming in something? That's Steve Harvey? Hi, guys, how you doing?

- 37:43Speaker 5: I had a guy one time though this happened in
- 37:45Speaker 5: New Orleans and me and him fell out behind this
- 37:47Speaker 5: had a meeting doing Essence Festival with this guy at
- 37:50Speaker 5: this restaurant, and uh, I had I had a driver,
- 37:56Speaker 5: and so the driver got caught up in traffic and
- 37:58Speaker 5: was waiting. And so when I got to the restaurant,
- 37:59Speaker 5: I ten minutes late. This guy was a white collar
- 38:03Speaker 5: Wall Street guy. He said, wow, you're late. I said, yeah,
- 38:05Speaker 5: I called you man. I was running behind him. My
- 38:07Speaker 5: driver got stuck in traffic. He said, you didn't think
- 38:10Speaker 5: to get a cab. I said, no, I didn't think
- 38:13Speaker 5: to get a cab. Well, if a cab would have
- 38:16Speaker 5: gotten you here on time, you think that would have
- 38:17Speaker 5: been better. I said no, I can't get in cabs. Dog,
- 38:20Speaker 5: I'm famous. I don't know what to do with it
- 38:22Speaker 5: to take me. I got a drive. All of a sudden,
- 38:25Speaker 5: he got Steve Harve and the cab. Now I'm in

- 38:37Speaker 6: question for you.
- 38:38Speaker 9: What old arguments do you or your significant others still
- 38:42Speaker 9: bring up to this day?
- 38:45Speaker 1: Junior man?
- 38:47Speaker 9: Now, well, now, wait a minute. This was the topic
- 38:49Speaker 9: on reddit dot com. A man said he complimented a
- 38:53Speaker 9: waitress on her short, bald haircut in front of his wife,
- 38:57Speaker 9: and over a year later, his wife still makes him
- 39:00Speaker 9: feel badly about it. According to the story, his wife
- 39:03Speaker 9: offers to go to the bathroom and shave her.
- 39:05Speaker 6: Head if that will make you happy. I love it, Yes,
- 39:12Speaker 6: I love it.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Right, it's just a nice cut.
- 39:17Speaker 9: Well, maybe I need to go to the bathroom and
- 39:19Speaker 9: shave my head if that'll make you happy.
- 39:21Speaker 6: Maybe that'll make you happy if I got a shaved head.
- 39:24Speaker 6: I know just how she said, you.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Know, yes, what a compliments?
- 39:35Speaker 9: Oh you don't like my long hair? Maybe I need
- 39:37Speaker 9: to shave my head. Maybe I'll yes. And if you compliment,
- 39:42Speaker 9: you handing out compliments and stuff.
- 39:45Speaker 6: All right, So, Steve, I don't know why this makes
- 39:48Speaker 6: me think of you.
- 39:49Speaker 9: Do you have any arguments in your relationship that never
- 39:53Speaker 9: go away? And you know something that comes up from
- 39:56Speaker 9: time to time?
- 40:00Speaker 5: The thing we really are about and over some damn kids.
- 40:04Speaker 5: You know, it's some damn kids. Most my arguments is
- 40:06Speaker 5: be about some one of them kids. We have a
- 40:08Speaker 5: difference of opinion of the way we all to handle it.
- 40:10Speaker 5: That's the one that you know comes up all the time,
- 40:13Speaker 5: you know, And I'm too hard. I don't know how
- 40:16Speaker 5: to love the kids in spite of their problems and stuff.
- 40:19Speaker 5: I know kids have problems and everything, but you know,
- 40:22Speaker 5: I don't want to hear.
- 40:25Speaker 6: What you're their parents are supposed to listen.
- 40:28Speaker 1: I'm tired of parents.
- 40:31Speaker 5: Do you jammen?
- 40:32Speaker 1: You think you know everything?
- 40:33Speaker 5: Go ahead, mess this little section of your life up
- 40:36Speaker 5: with your little stupid ass.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Come in here. I don't know the man. I'm so sick. Man,
- 40:42Speaker 1: Hell go ahead. Try.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Oh.
- 40:46Speaker 5: She got so mad at me the other day after
- 40:47Speaker 5: one of the kids asked me if I said try,
- 40:49Speaker 5: she said, till you.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Know that ain't gonna work.
- 40:51Speaker 5: Well, okay, if you tell them don't do it, they're
- 40:54Speaker 5: gonna do it anyway. Okay, try it, try it.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Let's let's go ahead owing knowing that.
- 41:05Speaker 5: That's not knowing what's gonna happen. Because when I told
- 41:09Speaker 5: you not to do something, you do it anyway. Then
- 41:11Speaker 5: you come back in here. I should have listened to you.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Yes you don't. She's going out here and do it
- 41:18Speaker 1: fall on your face.
- 41:19Speaker 5: But did you?
- 41:22Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 41:22Speaker 1: I did most of the time. Most of the time.
- 41:26Speaker 5: Well, I just kept most my stuff from him. I
- 41:28Speaker 5: didn't go in there with opinion. I ain't ask some nothing.
- 41:31Speaker 5: I just went on and blew it.
- 41:33Speaker 1: I've I did that and shut your poor ass up?
- 41:36Speaker 1: What did you do now?
- 41:39Speaker 6: You didn't want to hear all yeah, yeah, all right,
- 41:43Speaker 6: so junior, I know you have one.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Oh god, oh okay.
- 41:48Speaker 8: Girl came to the store time right and after the show,
- 41:51Speaker 8: you know, they go to the bathroom and she hears
- 41:54Speaker 8: some women in there talking about me about how funny
- 41:56Speaker 8: I was and how.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Cute of them.
- 41:58Speaker 8: She heard that, so anytime anybody compliment me. And she said, well,
- 42:01Speaker 8: let me go in the bathroom. See what the discussion
- 42:03Speaker 8: is this time about somebody. Somebody say I like your shirt.
- 42:07Speaker 8: She says, let me get up and go to the bathroom.
- 42:09Speaker 8: It must be a conversation. She the only one in
- 42:11Speaker 8: here like this damn shirt. So he got I don't
- 42:14Speaker 8: like to talk about that every damn time we go
- 42:16Speaker 8: out there.
- 42:17Speaker 1: I don't care if we go to pulling the drive through.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Oh I like your sunglasses.
- 42:20Speaker 8: Women running the bathroom in MacDonald's, it must be a
- 42:22Speaker 8: conversation about the sunglass, don't matter where we go.
- 42:27Speaker 1: We was at our cousin funeral, he said, man, I
- 42:29Speaker 1: like that suit. Old suscussion in the bathroom at the church.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Let me running the bathroom. She was saying about the
- 42:34Speaker 1: suit man. Yeah, she's so fly. Yeah, I was even
- 42:41Speaker 1: doing nothing.
- 42:41Speaker 6: Said, I didn't ask these ladies to say nothing.
- 42:45Speaker 1: But then I brought it. I flipped it, you know,
- 42:46Speaker 1: I said, well, you should have said something first.
- 42:48Speaker 6: Then we had here it's no more.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Oh that was Why did you say that, Junior? Because
- 42:56Speaker 1: I'm stupid?
- 42:58Speaker 2: What did you say?
- 42:59Speaker 1: What happened? She turned around on you that talking for
- 43:03Speaker 1: the day. Oh yeah, the silent treatment. All right, guys,

- 44:26Speaker 4: what the doctors tell me, it could be six months
- 44:29Speaker 4: or another year, but I know, uh, my time here
- 44:34Speaker 4: is definitely limited.
- 44:36Speaker 7: You know.

- 44:39Speaker 2: to help you out with whatever you need or whatever
- 44:42Speaker 2: we can help you with.
- 44:43Speaker 1: So what can we do for you?
- 44:45Speaker 4: Well? You know, I truly believe that sometimes people have
- 44:49Speaker 4: you know, I've seen one of the more movies they
- 44:51Speaker 4: got with it got a bucket list or whatever they
- 44:53Speaker 4: call it. You know, people trying to do things before
- 44:56Speaker 4: they leave here. I guess I'm just sitting around trying
- 44:59Speaker 4: to figure out what I could do and what I
- 45:01Speaker 4: wanted to do before I left this world and went
- 45:04Speaker 4: on to what he asked for me next. You know,
- 45:08Speaker 4: I don't believe in doing anything unless is prayed on first.
- 45:12Speaker 4: Oh yeah, if you don't mind, maybe you can you know,
- 45:17Speaker 4: before I even tell you my wish, we prayed that
- 45:19Speaker 4: the wish would come true. You're not doing anything like that.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Oh no, I don't mind praying. That's what we're here for.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Bow your head with me.
- 45:28Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, sir, is your head by yes, sir, yes, sir.
- 45:31Speaker 2: It is Brother God. We come to you in the
- 45:34Speaker 2: homeless way. We know how Lord, we asked you to
- 45:38Speaker 2: touch this young man and every which way he hurt,
- 45:41Speaker 2: and then we asked you to deliver him for whatever
- 45:44Speaker 2: is going on with him and let him know that
- 45:47Speaker 2: we the church is here to help him with whatever
- 45:50Speaker 2: his needs is in his last days. And Jesus Name, I.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Pray say Amen with me, Amen, Amen, that's.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Gonna do it here. Now. You a member of the
- 46:01Speaker 2: church here of Newton, Well.
- 46:03Speaker 4: I was a member. I still consider myself a member.
- 46:07Speaker 4: It's just been quite sometimes trying to over a year
- 46:10Speaker 4: and a half, two years since I've been able to come,
- 46:12Speaker 4: you know, due to my illness. But definitely I will
- 46:17Speaker 4: remember that.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Well, that's all right. We're not worried about all that.
- 46:20Speaker 2: We just here to take care of your last and
- 46:23Speaker 2: final wish. That's what our ministry is for, you know.
- 46:27Speaker 2: We helps people with with with anything they need, you know, like.
- 46:31Speaker 4: What what what all of I mean when when people
- 46:33Speaker 4: call and won't things what all of you you all
- 46:36Speaker 4: what all of y'all helped them with?
- 46:38Speaker 2: Well, we've helped them with the rent. Uh, take them
- 46:42Speaker 2: to the store, help them with a utility bill, come
- 46:46Speaker 2: out and cut the grass, anything like that that they
- 46:49Speaker 2: just can't do. Take them to the doctor's apartment. Anything
- 46:53Speaker 2: we'd like to help them with, we do exactly that.
- 46:56Speaker 4: Okay, Well I pretty much got those things taking care.
- 47:00Speaker 4: You know. I think what I'd like to do between
- 47:03Speaker 4: you and and myself brother saying that I've never told
- 47:06Speaker 4: anyone what I'm about to tell you. I've never been
- 47:11Speaker 4: with a with a woman to I'm you know, I'm
- 47:16Speaker 4: thirty eight, but I've never been with a woman.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Well, I guess that might be a blessing. You might
- 47:23Speaker 2: you might be here. That's a good thing.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Well, you know, but sometimes you know, I guess before
- 47:28Speaker 4: I leave, I guess that's a desire that I have.
- 47:31Speaker 4: And and and uh, what I wanted to ask you
- 47:35Speaker 4: was there is a lady there at the church, and
- 47:39Speaker 4: before I leave, I think that's the woman that I
- 47:43Speaker 4: would actually like to.
- 47:44Speaker 5: To be with.
- 47:47Speaker 2: Well, I don't know if make a wish. Ministry can
- 47:49Speaker 2: support that kind of stuff. But go ahead, let me hear.
- 47:53Speaker 4: Okay, the lady that I'm I'm actually interested in actually
- 47:57Speaker 4: uh she works at the church too. O real when
- 48:01Speaker 4: not see, she's kind of me tall on, she's about
- 48:03Speaker 4: five to nine and she's probably about a size D
- 48:08Speaker 4: a beautiful long league man and and and sandy type
- 48:12Speaker 4: of hair, sandy color, sandy brown man. And I mean
- 48:16Speaker 4: she looked like CAREMEA.
- 48:18Speaker 2: Hold on a minute. What's her name?
- 48:22Speaker 4: Uh? I think her name Linda?
- 48:24Speaker 2: Now hold on, that's my wife?

- 48:36Speaker 4: Y'all are ministry now now, if y'all supposed to be
- 48:39Speaker 4: taking care of people, don't make a wish and taking
- 48:42Speaker 4: care of what they want before they leave this world.
- 48:44Speaker 4: If that's my wish, what is.
- 48:46Speaker 2: The problem listening here? You didn't cross every line there
- 48:49Speaker 2: was about this man, so I don't give a damn
- 48:51Speaker 2: about it. The more you're talking about sleeping with my wife,
- 48:54Speaker 2: if I see you, I'm gonna do something to you.
- 48:56Speaker 2: They ain't gonna even be able to recognize you. So
- 48:59Speaker 2: what the talking about missing with my wife?

- 49:12Speaker 2: last call you make.
- 49:14Speaker 4: I thought y'all were here to relieve people so they
- 49:18Speaker 4: can enjoy themselves before they leave this world.
- 49:21Speaker 2: You talking about sleeping with my wife? Are you crazy?
- 49:24Speaker 4: But if I'm finna leave here, ain't nobody gonna know
- 49:27Speaker 4: what you want?

- 49:31Speaker 2: ain't sleeping with my wife and you fool with her,
- 49:34Speaker 2: you probably gonna go ahead and die quicker than you
- 49:36Speaker 2: need to.
- 49:37Speaker 4: I thought this was a ministry.
- 49:39Speaker 2: I don't tell you.
- 49:40Speaker 4: Now you're over there telling me about dying. Y'all supposed
- 49:43Speaker 4: to be a ministry that helps people before they leave
- 49:45Speaker 4: on wonder what it is?
- 49:46Speaker 2: But you talking about sleeping with my wife? You got
- 49:49Speaker 2: an illness? But something must be wrong with your ma.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Ain't talking about missing with my wife.
- 49:53Speaker 4: Ain't nobody gonna even know I fen with your wife want?
- 49:55Speaker 4: I'm gone there, ain't gonna be with the two of y'all.

- 53:07Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you here.
- 53:08Speaker 9: It is a strawberry letter subject my mother and my
- 53:13Speaker 9: ex are besties.
- 53:15Speaker 6: Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 53:16Speaker 9: I've been divorced for almost three years, and I moved
- 53:19Speaker 9: away after the divorce to start anew. My husband was
- 53:23Speaker 9: an avid cheater, and my mother finally told me after
- 53:27Speaker 9: he'd been having an affair with a woman for over
- 53:29Speaker 9: six months. My mother is employed by my ex husband
- 53:33Speaker 9: as his accountant. He has two businesses that do very
- 53:37Speaker 9: well in a small town they're in. My mother was
- 53:41Speaker 9: a retired accountant when he and I met, and he
- 53:45Speaker 9: fell in love with her and he hired her.
- 53:48Speaker 6: When I say they fell in love, I mean it.
- 53:51Speaker 9: Whenever he and I would have a disagreement, she'd always
- 53:54Speaker 9: tell me to consider his point of view.
- 53:57Speaker 6: When he cheated.
- 53:58Speaker 9: I think she knew it all along and only told
- 54:01Speaker 9: me because my ten year old daughter saw him with
- 54:04Speaker 9: this woman.
- 54:05Speaker 6: Excuse me.
- 54:06Speaker 9: My daughter kept referencing daddy's friend at work, so I
- 54:10Speaker 9: asked my mother and she spilled the teeth. Our relationship
- 54:13Speaker 9: hasn't been the same since then, and she said it's
- 54:16Speaker 9: because I divorced my husband. Her belief is that I
- 54:20Speaker 9: should have kept my family together no matter what. The
- 54:25Speaker 9: things my husband did for his girlfriend were the same
- 54:28Speaker 9: things he did for me, So it wasn't the cheating
- 54:30Speaker 9: that got to me. It was the time he spent
- 54:33Speaker 9: with her and the trip he took her on. I
- 54:36Speaker 9: asked my mother to reconsider working for him, and she
- 54:39Speaker 9: said that whatever we had going on should not affect
- 54:42Speaker 9: her money. Our own daughter doesn't talk to my ex
- 54:47Speaker 9: right now because she figured out who daddy's friend was.
- 54:51Speaker 9: My mother called recently and said she's trying to get
- 54:54Speaker 9: the family together for Thanksgiving and she wants me there.
- 54:58Speaker 9: She said, my ex, we'll be there. We'll be doing
- 55:01Speaker 9: the turkey and she would cook everything else. How can
- 55:04Speaker 9: my own mother be so ignorant and invite him to dinner?
- 55:08Speaker 9: Should I show up and curse them both out? Well,
- 55:12Speaker 9: you know that sounds good on paper, it really does,
- 55:15Speaker 9: but this is bad. I mean, this situation is bad,
- 55:18Speaker 9: and yes, your mom is really wrong. I don't advise
- 55:22Speaker 9: you to curse your mom out. I mean, after all,
- 55:25Speaker 9: she's all the way wrong. I agree with you one
- 55:27Speaker 9: hundred percent, but she is your mom. She's not acting
- 55:32Speaker 9: much like a mom, though, I will say that because
- 55:34Speaker 9: her loyalty should be to you at all times, and
- 55:36Speaker 9: not your ex. He's cheating, he's your ex husband. She
- 55:41Speaker 9: knew about it, didn't tell you. She was keeping these
- 55:43Speaker 9: secrets all because of money. Is that why she was
- 55:47Speaker 9: doing it? I think this had to hurt you, and
- 55:52Speaker 9: this is some kind of betrayal on your mom's part.
- 55:55Speaker 9: The best thing you could do is decline her crazy, thoughtless,
- 56:00Speaker 9: inconsiderate dinner invitation. Just don't go. Please make your own
- 56:05Speaker 9: plans for you and your baby girl, your daughter, maybe
- 56:08Speaker 9: some friends or whatever. But the main thing is to
- 56:11Speaker 9: forget what they have going on at the mom's house
- 56:13Speaker 9: and just let that go. Your mother is just ugh anyway.
- 56:18Speaker 9: After the holidays, I say, continue to distance yourself. This
- 56:22Speaker 9: is a toxic situation. Stay away from it and let
- 56:26Speaker 9: them do their thing. Let them do her if she
- 56:28Speaker 9: wants to stay over there with him. You know the
- 56:30Speaker 9: lines are crossed, the line in the sand. It's divided now.
- 56:34Speaker 9: Don't let her make you feel guilty for divorcing him.
- 56:37Speaker 9: That was a while ago, and you should. You definitely
- 56:41Speaker 9: did the wrong thing. If he was doing all this
- 56:43Speaker 9: stuff that your mother said, and he obviously was, This
- 56:46Speaker 9: is just so wrong. On so many levels, Steves.
- 56:52Speaker 5: My mother and my ex are besties, don't I don't
- 56:55Speaker 5: get this, especially from a male perspective. I just don't
- 56:58Speaker 5: understand how this operate and functions. But when you're talking
- 57:02Speaker 5: about dysfunctional people, then it's a little bit easier. You've
- 57:07Speaker 5: been divorced for three years, you moved away to start
- 57:11Speaker 5: new your husband was a big cheater, and your mother
- 57:15Speaker 5: finally told you after having an affair with a woman
- 57:18Speaker 5: for over six months. Your mother is employed by your
- 57:22Speaker 5: ex husband as his accountant. Here's where the problem is
- 57:25Speaker 5: right here. So he's got two bus that do very
- 57:28Speaker 5: well in a small town. That my mother was a
- 57:32Speaker 5: retired accountant when he and I met, and he fell
- 57:37Speaker 5: in love with her, and he hired her. Now here's
- 57:40Speaker 5: a problem with the letter. When I say they fell
- 57:43Speaker 5: in love, I mean it. There's a lot in that statement, ma'am,
- 57:50Speaker 5: And I don't have the time to unpack it, but
- 57:53Speaker 5: I'll just rearrange some stuff in the luggage.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Whatever he told me we.
- 58:00Speaker 5: Had a disagreement, the girl's mother would always tell her
- 58:04Speaker 5: to consider his point of view. Then when the dude cheated,
- 58:09Speaker 5: the lady wrote the letter say I think she knew
- 58:12Speaker 5: it all along and only told me because my ten
- 58:15Speaker 5: year old daughter saw him with this woman. So I'm
- 58:19Speaker 5: assuming that she had the daughter before she married the man,
- 58:27Speaker 5: because she refers to the daughter as my ten year
- 58:30Speaker 5: old daughter. And then the daughter kept referencing daddy's friend
- 58:34Speaker 5: at work. So you asked your mother and she spilled
- 58:37Speaker 5: the tea. Our relationship has been the same since then,
- 58:42Speaker 5: and she said it was because I divorced my husband
- 58:45Speaker 5: and her belief as I should have kept my family
- 58:47Speaker 5: together no matter what. Now, I think, ma'am, this is
- 58:53Speaker 5: where you got a little bit going on. Maybe your
- 58:56Speaker 5: mother tried to stay out of your business, didn't have
- 59:00Speaker 5: solid proof like the daughter didn't. She just saw him somewhere,
- 59:04Speaker 5: and your husband told her this is daddy's friend from work.
- 59:09Speaker 5: That's why the daughter was referencing her the woman as
- 59:12Speaker 5: daddy's friend. Hang on, I thank your mother's just trying
- 59:15Speaker 5: to stay out of it. But I give you a
- 59:17Speaker 5: real scoop boy to come back.
- 59:18Speaker 7: All right.
- 59:19Speaker 9: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:22Speaker 9: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject
- 59:25Speaker 9: my mother and my ex are besties. We'll get back
- 59:28Speaker 9: into it right after this.
- 59:30Speaker 6: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 59:33Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 59:36Speaker 9: The subject my mother and my ex are besties.
- 59:41Speaker 5: This woman's been divorced for three years from her husband,
- 59:43Speaker 5: who was a big cheater on her. When she met
- 59:47Speaker 5: her husband, they introduced him to her mother. Her mother
- 59:51Speaker 5: fell in love with him, and the girl says, I
- 59:53Speaker 5: mean fell in love with him. Like I said earlier.
- 59:56Speaker 5: I think there's something behind that, but I don't have
- 59:58Speaker 5: time to unpack that because you didn't mention that.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: In the letter.
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: Your daughter, who obviously you had before you married this man,
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: made a reference one day to daddy's friend at work.
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: You inquired to your mother about who daddy's friend was.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: Finally she spilled the tea. She didn't have to then,
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: but she said, well, and I think your mother was
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: trying to stay out of y'all's business because she didn't
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: have solid proof that the man was cheating, but she
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: had some inkling. So when you came to her, she
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: told you she think the man is cheating. And then
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: you all's relationship ain't been the same since because you
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: thought your mother should have told you right away, Well,
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: it ain't your mama's business, and I think that may
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: have something to do with it. But then your mother
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: says it's because you divorced your husband and her belief
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: that you should have kept your family together no matter what.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Now here's what.
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: You say the problem is, you say, the problem is
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: the things your ex husband did for his girlfriend were
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: the same things he did for me. So it wasn't
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: the cheating that got me. It was a time he
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: spent with her on the trip he took her on.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: That's the cheating. See, sisters, don't that's the action.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: Yeah, don't talking about No, he did the same thing
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: for me. How that's what cheating? Is you seeing somebody?
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: Why are you seeing somebody else? And what do a
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: dus do when they see each other? They spend time together?
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: How do they spend time together? They go somewhere. So
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: what you sitting up there talking about this the time
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: he spent with her on the trip.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: What were they supposed to do?
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: Everybody don't have an affair at lunch in the backseat
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: of a car. He got money, he gonna do something
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: a little bit different, So don't talk about it's the
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: same things that got you. That's what cheating is, ma'am.
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: You just trying to find another reason to say you
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: didn't keep the family together.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: But you don't have to.
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: You don't want to stay with the dude because he cheated,
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: that's all. Now it gets a little sticky. You came
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: to your ask your mother to reconsider working for him,
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: and she said that whatever we had going on should
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: not affect her money. That's an interesting statement, yes, but
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: it gets even more interesting though. Our own daughter doesn't
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: talk to my ex right now. Now it's our daughter,
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: so I don't know when y'all had the baby skip that.
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: Don't talk to her my ex right now because she
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: figured out whose daddy freem was. My mother called recently
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: and says she's trying to get the family together for
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: Thanksgiving and she wants me there. Your mother is trying
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: to repair her relationship, but she's stupid, so she said
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: your ex will be doing the turkey and she would
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: cook everything. Now the now here is the thing. The
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: affair that the ex had is probably over. He probably
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: wants the best thing he ever had back. He done
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: went to the mother to get you back. So now
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: the mother says she's trying to get the family together.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: Your ex is gonna be doing the turkey, and she
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: would cook everything else. How can my own mother be
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: so ignorant and invite him to dinner? Because your mama ignorant?
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: It's okay, she's so disloyal.
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: Some people have mama's just ignorant.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: You got one.
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: But now here's the danger I see in this. Should
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: I show up and curse them both out?
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Of course?
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: Now why had energy to that? Why are you getting
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: dressed to go over there to cuss both of them out?
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: First of all, if I were you, I would try
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: to fix the relationship with my mother. That's what I
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: would do. That's an important relationship. She did give you life.
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: Now do it sound like she wrong in this case? Absolutely?
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yes.
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: But now if your husband is not trying to get
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: back with you, which I think the case is, here
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: is the spoiler alert. You said your husband fell in
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: love with your mother, and I mean fell in love.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Them.
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: Let me make a statement about me and ladies in
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: case you want to know where you're staying with a man.
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: If you want to know where a man's heart is,
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: the holidays is where he is. If you want to
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: know where a man's heart is the holidays is where
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: he is.
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: He's where he loves the family, and he still loves hers.
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: What you're saying, because he's over, he's going to be
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: over at the mom's house.
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: But Thanksgiving, Yeah, now you can take that one of
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: two ways. I don't think you think your mama is
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: seeing this man, but I do think your mother is
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: attracted to.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: His power.
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: All the money.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: She said, Oh wow, the power is money show.
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: Well, okay, he done provided her with a job. She's
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: told her. You should have stayed with your family to
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: hold your family together. Your mama old school. All right,
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: you get together to find out who really stuffed in there.
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: All right, guys, we got to get out of here.

- 1:07:00Speaker 6: witch haze.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: What does that do though? Witch has I don't know,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: but I feel better after I put it off.
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: Don't get inflammation. Sometimes it's to shirt.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Witch made it.
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: Named hazel.

- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Yeah you got yeah, what you're saying? Arm and hammel bacon.

- 1:08:10Speaker 1: go in there and get that corn start soak it up.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Apple side of vinegar. Yeah, I got that. Got that cato,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: put it on your.

- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I love black people. Keep it in the tuted deodoring
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: just just in case, just in case. You need to
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: hear that tea though. I need to hear that team
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: when carn a band aide, I can't not the two
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: big ones in hill.
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: My favorite for the round one.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: Hostalotion. What Timonia here is, if you're gonna have your
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: shoes are sweet.
- 1:09:09Speaker 11: You're listening hard morning show? Well, does being scared make
- 1:09:16Speaker 11: you want to get busy? You know, get busy?
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: You know what that means?
- 1:09:20Speaker 9: A study says yes, if someone is yelling boo makes
- 1:09:25Speaker 9: you want to hook up with your boo, You're not alone.
- 1:09:28Speaker 9: Experts say shriek inducing horror film scenes can make you
- 1:09:32Speaker 9: feel horny. According to Leah Holmgren, a Manhattan based intimacy
- 1:09:38Speaker 9: and relationship coach, it's a matter of simple human instinct
- 1:09:42Speaker 9: to want to be close to another person when you're scared.
- 1:09:46Speaker 9: This phenomenon is from prehistoric times when we needed to bond,
- 1:09:50Speaker 9: especially in dangerous situations and increase the chances for survival. So, guys,
- 1:09:58Speaker 9: Junior Steve, what movie, what horror movie scared you so
- 1:10:04Speaker 9: much that you wanted to, you know, knock the boots,
- 1:10:09Speaker 9: get busy?
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Yeah whatever.
- 1:10:11Speaker 8: Yeah, Nightmare on Elm Street for me because I had
- 1:10:13Speaker 8: to stay woke. Youre going to speak on your mind,
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: just keep going. Yeah, you watched all of it one time? Sure,
- 1:10:24Speaker 8: he watched it from one to ten.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Just to stay up. That would do it for me.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: It's kind of weird, I know it is.
- 1:10:37Speaker 9: I mean, I see if you go together to a
- 1:10:40Speaker 9: movie and you guys, you know you're scared, so you're
- 1:10:43Speaker 9: you're cuddled up in the movie and everything, but after
- 1:10:45Speaker 9: the movie it's over.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna tell you right now.
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: You don't get to me. Yeah, matter of fact, I don't.
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: I don't mean I don't. First of all, I don't
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: go to scared movies, so I don't know what the
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: hell do last scary movie I went to the exors
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: and that did not induce the exorsies.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I was about sixteen.
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: Now that's when you and your guys set.
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: And I tell you what do make me want to
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: get busy? Like if I'm getting.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Cold, if it gets cold outside.
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: I want to do something. If I got the flu,
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: I want to do something. It's dark outside, I want
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: to do something.
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: Every everything other than a scary movie.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Sound as soon as I wake up early in the morning, Yeah,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: good time.
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: Yeah right, but can we back up to the flu?
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Can we back up to that? Yeah?
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: If I got that energy, I don't need it. I
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: just want to feel better. If I'm doing something, I
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: forget I got the flu.
- 1:11:47Speaker 6: Yeah, and then give it to give it to your wife.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Well he probably got.
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: It anyway, you know, when there laying around front, we'll
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: do something like it. For like, if I got a fever,
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: I want to do something, then too, I promise you.
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: Then I can always say this is gonna be hot.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: You got to be comeing.
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: I ain't got to laugh. You better come on this
- 1:12:08Speaker 5: to be hot. And it is just you know, you know,
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: just like that, you know, so you gotta know, you
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: gotta know what it is that turn you on. You know,
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: like if I make a left turn and I should
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: have made the right turn. I want to do, so.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Don't take much. It's scary movie. Yeah, if you want
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: to all right, you know, and yeah, you know how you.
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: Give us insight into men's thinking.
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, like if you like if I'm standing
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: there talking to you, and you know how you just
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: blow sometimes because you from a salad, but you blow.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Your hair a little bit up and down. Yeah, you

- 1:15:49Speaker 6: Would you rather? Here's the first question.

- 1:15:55Speaker 9: every time you turn the page of a book or
- 1:15:57Speaker 9: a magazine or something, Or would you rather bite your
- 1:16:01Speaker 9: tongue every time you eat?
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: So what's worse?
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Give me that paper cut? Cut?
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: Paper cuts? I take the paper hook because I ain't
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: reading no book, no way, so I ain't fit to
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: beat too much damage.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: By the time.
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: I don't never read more than a page anyway, I
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: beat a page, bite my damn tongue.

- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Coming up, and you rather do that? No paper cut,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: give me the cuts. I can't bite. I hate biting
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: my tongue, biting my jaw, all.
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: That is painful.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: And molas when the molas chopped down? Lord, and then
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: you do it back to back? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: you're gonna make what is wrong with me? You a
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: long and take that the heel in there?
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: Yeah a long time? All right, here's another one.
- 1:17:13Speaker 9: Would you rather be a little late, just a little
- 1:17:16Speaker 9: bit late, or just way too early?
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: Way too early?
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: I'm going with the little late. Really, Yeah, I'm a celebrity.
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: Cordially, Oh yeah, you're a celebrity.
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna be way too early, sitting up in
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: here for I'm sitting up in here off it like
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: I'm thirsty. Like if y'all know this will be yeah, Hey, yeah,
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: I'm sitting up here like I ain't got no work
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: or nothing.
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: Hit this role.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: I shouldn't want to do this show. Hey, how y'all
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: doing this? Speaking of everybody coming in to something here,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: let's Steve Harvey. Hi, guys, how you doing? I'm here?
- 1:17:50Speaker 10: Hey, just let that isn't Steve Harvey. Yeah, they just
- 1:17:53Speaker 10: let whoever it is, let's let's not known here. But
- 1:17:56Speaker 10: a five minutes early.
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: Really need this?
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: So, yeah, you're a celebrity, so you can. I hate
- 1:18:04Speaker 6: being late. Oh God, I hate you.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: I had a guy one time though.
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: This happened in New Orleans, and me and him fell
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: out behind this had a meeting doing Essence Festival with
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: this guy at this restaurant, and I had I had
- 1:18:16Speaker 5: a driver, and so the driver got caught up in
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: traffic and was waiting, And so when I got to
- 1:18:21Speaker 5: the restaurant, I got there ten minutes late. This guy
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: was a white collar Wall Street guy. He said, wow,
- 1:18:26Speaker 5: you're late. I said, yeah, I called you man. I
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: was running behind up my driver got stuck in traffic.
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: He said, you didn't think to get a cab. I
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: said no, I didn't think to get a cab. Well,
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: if a cab would have gotten you here on time,
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: you think that would have been better. I said no,
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: I can't get in cabs. Dog, I'm famous. I don't
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: know what this dude fin to take me. I got
- 1:18:45Speaker 5: a driver. All of a sudden, he got Steve Harve
- 1:18:47Speaker 5: and the cab. Now I'm in the back of the
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: French Quarter getting my ass whoop.
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: Coming up.
- 1:18:55Speaker 9: Had forty nine minutes tab to be our it's our
- 1:18:58Speaker 9: last break of the day, and of course we'll get
- 1:19:00Speaker 9: some closing remarks from the one and only, our fearless leader,
- 1:19:03Speaker 9: Steve Harvey.
- 1:19:04Speaker 6: Rather be a little late right after this. You're listening
- 1:19:09Speaker 6: Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here we are our
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: last break of the day. Come on, Steve, you got it.
- 1:19:15Speaker 5: I ain't even got to waste no time. These are
- 1:19:19Speaker 5: my closing remarks today. Here's the subject. There is no
- 1:19:26Speaker 5: winning in giving up none. There is no winning in
- 1:19:34Speaker 5: giving up. You have got to see it through. You
- 1:19:39Speaker 5: have got to stick to it. You have got to finish.
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: That is the only option you have when it gets
- 1:19:48Speaker 5: dark and tough for you, you have got to see
- 1:19:51Speaker 5: it through. You have got to survive it. You've got
- 1:19:57Speaker 5: to finish. There is no other option there. There is
- 1:20:00Speaker 5: no winning in giving up nothing. Let me explain something
- 1:20:06Speaker 5: to you. In order to get to it, you must
- 1:20:12Speaker 5: go through it.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: That's a fact.
- 1:20:15Speaker 5: Anything you want in life is on the other side
- 1:20:20Speaker 5: of something you have to go through. In order to
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: get to it, you have to go through it. Stop
- 1:20:29Speaker 5: complaining about that. I'm going through it part of your life.
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: Because everybody got that. You're not the only one that's
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: going through it. Stop complaining. Look, I know sometimes you
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: want to stop and go man, I'm sick of this.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: I get it. I do too.
- 1:20:49Speaker 5: I know there are times you want to go, man,
- 1:20:52Speaker 5: this is hard, and you are absolutely right, it is hard.
- 1:20:59Speaker 5: I know there are days where you go, man, I
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: just I ain't feeling this today.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: I got it.
- 1:21:06Speaker 5: But in order to get to it, you got to
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: go through it. I name something you want that's just
- 1:21:15Speaker 5: sitting right there, and you can just reach over this yours,
- 1:21:20Speaker 5: name it, Name what what? Now? I'm talking about something
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: that's really worth having. I'm talking about something you dream about.
- 1:21:33Speaker 5: I'm talking about that thing that keeps you up at night.
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: I'm talking about that thing that burns on the inside
- 1:21:39Speaker 5: of you that death won't let it go. Those things
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: right there are on the other side of something you
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: got to go through. If you are unwilling to go through,
- 1:21:50Speaker 5: you are not going to get to You gotta get
- 1:21:53Speaker 5: this in your head.
- 1:21:55Speaker 9: Now.
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: I know when I say stop complaining about what you're
- 1:21:59Speaker 5: going through, I know that's hard.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: But let me what does the complaining accomplish?
- 1:22:05Speaker 5: Nothing? It accomplishes nothing. Every time I complain about how
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: tired I am I'm still tired. Every time I complain
- 1:22:18Speaker 5: about I'm sicker than people talking about me, they gonna
- 1:22:22Speaker 5: still be talking about you. Ain't gonna talk about you
- 1:22:25Speaker 5: some more. I'm tired of people talking about me that
- 1:22:29Speaker 5: don't know me. What difference do it make? What they say?
- 1:22:35Speaker 5: I mean, really, y'all, if you think about people who
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: are talking about you behind your back, do you really
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: understand that they don't matter?
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: I said it earlier today.
- 1:22:48Speaker 5: People that talk about you behind your back is because
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: they behind you.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Who in front of you.
- 1:22:55Speaker 5: Talks about you behind your back? Name the person? No, man,
- 1:23:00Speaker 5: everybody that talks about you behind that your back is
- 1:23:04Speaker 5: behind you. You've passed them. That's what they mad about.
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: Everything you want is on the other side of something
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: you got to go through. In order to get to it.
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: You got to go through it. This is the way
- 1:23:23Speaker 5: life is set up for every living one of us.
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: None of us are exempt from this. Quit trying to
- 1:23:32Speaker 5: figure out how you can get around that part of it.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: It ain't happening.
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: I can't tell you the situation I'm in right now,
- 1:23:41Speaker 5: and all of it's predicated on some other people doing
- 1:23:45Speaker 5: what they supposed to do. But you know, what I did,
- 1:23:48Speaker 5: I prayed about it. I turned it over to God
- 1:23:50Speaker 5: because it was out of my hands. But see, the
- 1:23:55Speaker 5: majority of what I want is out of my hands.
- 1:23:58Speaker 5: My dreams are so big and so illustrious that in
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: order for me to attain them, I absolutely have to
- 1:24:08Speaker 5: have God's help. I don't want nothing I can accomplish
- 1:24:13Speaker 5: on my own. I'm in the I need my Heavenly
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: Father business. I'm in the I need You Lord business.
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: So what I'm going through right now is solely God
- 1:24:26Speaker 5: moving a lot of pieces into place to fix the
- 1:24:31Speaker 5: prayer request that I put in. And you know, what
- 1:24:35Speaker 5: it's causing me to do is causing me to go
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: through something. But I've learned that God is always working
- 1:24:43Speaker 5: on my behalf because I'm a believer, I'm a child
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: of His. I honor him, I give him the glory,
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: the credit, and the praise. So he working on my behalf.
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: So as I sit here and try to I practice
- 1:25:00Speaker 5: the patience that I need to allow Him to move
- 1:25:03Speaker 5: the pieces into place. It's causing me to go through something,
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: but guess what, if I want to get to it,
- 1:25:12Speaker 5: I got to go through it. And I believe with
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: everything in me He's working it out. Quot tripping, y'all.
- 1:25:22Speaker 5: It's happening to everybody, including you. Talk to God. He
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: loved to hear from you. He's in the blessing business.
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: He's in the forgiving business. He's in to get your
- 1:25:36Speaker 5: life together business. He's in the fix it business. Those
- 1:25:41Speaker 5: are my closing remarks. Have a great day. Talk to God,
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: he loved to hear from you. See you tomorrow. God
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: will it.
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: For all.
