- 0:01Speaker 1: A sad day for our justice system, for our democracy,
- 0:05Speaker 1: for the rule of law. Hunter Biden reaches a plea
- 0:08Speaker 1: deal on charges that will one hundred percent isolate and
- 0:13Speaker 1: protect Joe Biden and the Biden crime family of all
- 0:18Speaker 1: the crimes that Hunter Biden has committed. The two crimes
- 0:22Speaker 1: that he was charged with, and the only two crimes
- 0:25Speaker 1: they were charged with, were the two crimes that would
- 0:28Speaker 1: not connect any of the corruption of his business dealings
- 0:32Speaker 1: with Barisma, with Russian oligarchs and those connected to Vladimir Putin,
- 0:37Speaker 1: with the Chinese Communist Party, the list with Romania and
- 0:41Speaker 1: a Romanian oligarch. The list goes on and on, human trafficking,
- 0:45Speaker 1: the sex trafficking, the prostitution, and the drugs, all of
- 0:50Speaker 1: the money not being not registering as a foreign agent,
- 0:55Speaker 1: clearly working for foreign adversaries. The only two crimes that
- 1:00Speaker 1: you could have charged Hunter Biden with that did not
- 1:04Speaker 1: connect him to any of that and to any of
- 1:07Speaker 1: the other nine family members that we know of that
- 1:09Speaker 1: are on the take from the Biden crime family. These
- 1:13Speaker 1: were the only two crimes that would protect and insulate
- 1:16Speaker 1: the presidency. And that's exactly why the DOJ and the
- 1:19Speaker 1: Justice Department in General, and these prosecutors decided to only
- 1:23Speaker 1: charge him with these two crimes. The media, by the way,
- 1:27Speaker 1: now covering this story like it's a big deal. You
- 1:31Speaker 1: want to know why, because they want this to be
- 1:33Speaker 1: a big deal, because they want it to then be over.
- 1:37Speaker 1: NBC News did eight minutes and forty four seconds of
- 1:41Speaker 1: breaking in news this morning on the indictment of the
- 1:45Speaker 1: President of the United States of America's son, Hunter Biden.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Pleading guilty the tax related misdemeanor crimes is part of
- 1:51Speaker 1: the plea agreement. He will get no jail time. This
- 1:54Speaker 1: insulates the President and all other family members. And that
- 1:58Speaker 1: is now why the media is playing this up as
- 2:01Speaker 1: being a big deal, a big indictment. They want this
- 2:05Speaker 1: to be a big deal because then you can say
- 2:07Speaker 1: it's over and we can move on from it. Listen
- 2:12Speaker 1: to NBC News and how they played this earlier to.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Our Following a year's long investigation, the President's son, Hunter Biden,
- 2:21Speaker 2: has reached a plea agreement with the US Attorney's office
- 2:25Speaker 2: in Delaware. Hunter Biden said to plead guilty to two
- 2:29Speaker 2: misdemeanor counts of failing to pay his taxes. The prosecutor
- 2:32Speaker 2: is part of the deal, agreeing to recommend probation no
- 2:35Speaker 2: prison time. NBC's Kristen Welker joins us with details behind
- 2:39Speaker 2: this plea agreement just filed that appears to wrap up
- 2:42Speaker 2: the investigation into Hunter Biden. Kristen, good morning.
- 2:46Speaker 1: You notice how she said that no jail time. She
- 2:48Speaker 1: wants you to know that. And you notice how she
- 2:52Speaker 1: said very clearly, this wraps up the investigation into Hunter Biden.
- 2:56Speaker 1: In other words, these are misdemeanors. This really isn't a
- 2:59Speaker 1: big deal. This wraps it up. You can move on.
- 3:03Speaker 1: You never have to look at this again. Right, that's
- 3:06Speaker 1: what she's saying. Now, though we're gonna cover it wall
- 3:09Speaker 1: to wall, even though we've not covered the story at all,
- 3:11Speaker 1: because this is a good news story for the Bidens.
- 3:14Speaker 1: It wraps it all up.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Good morning to you. This is a five year investigation
- 3:19Speaker 3: that has now been wrapped up. And as you say,
- 3:21Speaker 3: this is a Trump appointed US attorney for Delaware who
- 3:24Speaker 3: has reached a plea agreement with Hunter Biden in which
- 3:27Speaker 3: he is expected to plead guilty to two federal misdemeanor
- 3:31Speaker 3: counts of failing to pay his taxes. Now, Notably, he
- 3:35Speaker 3: also faces a separate gun possession charge that is likely
- 3:38Speaker 3: going to be dismissed if he meets the conditions that
- 3:42Speaker 3: have been hammered out under this agreement.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Up now, just be clear on what you just heard
- 3:49Speaker 1: Trump appointed. So therefore this must have been a good deal,
- 3:53Speaker 1: right they went after vigorously. Number two, These are misdemeanors.
- 3:57Speaker 1: How many times they said the word misdemeanor? What eight
- 3:59Speaker 1: nine already misdemeanor and a gun crime. But if he
- 4:02Speaker 1: does everything good, we're all good here. You don't need
- 4:04Speaker 1: to worry about it. So this is a big story, folks.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Five year investigation they're implying now this is all they found,
- 4:10Speaker 1: which is a lie. There's a hell of a lot more.
- 4:12Speaker 1: They just haven't charged them with this stuff. We're finding
- 4:15Speaker 1: out more. And I want you to understand the timing
- 4:16Speaker 1: of this. I'm going to say this again because it's important.
- 4:20Speaker 1: The timing of this is critical. You want to know
- 4:25Speaker 1: why after five years, where all of a sudden getting
- 4:28Speaker 1: this rush to be done with this, Because for the
- 4:30Speaker 1: first time ever, we're getting to see the suspicious activity
- 4:33Speaker 1: reports in Congress. For the first time ever, we're actually
- 4:36Speaker 1: getting the bank account records given over to Congress with
- 4:39Speaker 1: subpoenas from the banks that were running this money. We're
- 4:42Speaker 1: getting to see where the cash went. We're getting to
- 4:44Speaker 1: see what was reported on Biden's tax re returns compared
- 4:47Speaker 1: to what he did. We're getting FBI whistleblowers and other whistleblowers.
- 4:53Speaker 1: They are coming forward saying what they have seen in
- 4:55Speaker 1: the cover up here. So this is the reason why
- 4:57Speaker 1: they need to rush and do this deal, because now
- 5:01Speaker 1: there's so much damning information coming out that they don't
- 5:03Speaker 1: hurry up in as Savannah Guthrie put it, wrap it
- 5:06Speaker 1: all up, then it could actually expose the White House
- 5:09Speaker 1: to problems. It could expose the President of the United
- 5:12Speaker 1: States of America to problems. So instead of dealing with that,
- 5:16Speaker 1: we're now going to charge them with crimes, no jail time.
- 5:19Speaker 1: It's a trumpet pointed guy. Everything's good here.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Getting a statement from the attorney from Hunter Biden, who
- 5:26Speaker 3: tells NBC News quote with this announcement of two agreements
- 5:29Speaker 3: between my client Hunter Biden in the United States Attorney's
- 5:33Speaker 3: Office for the District of Delaware, it is my understanding
- 5:36Speaker 3: that the five year investigation into Hunter is resolved. Now
- 5:41Speaker 3: taking a step back here, Savannah. What is happening is
- 5:44Speaker 3: that Hunter is not being charged with the potentially more
- 5:48Speaker 3: serious allegations of potential criminal misconduct business dealings, scrutiny of
- 5:55Speaker 3: his business dealings with Chinese owned businesses Ukrainian businesses. This
- 6:00Speaker 3: he will undoubtedly become a political matter. Now we are
- 6:02Speaker 3: reaching out to, of course, the White House. We have
- 6:05Speaker 3: not heard from the White House yet about this. President
- 6:09Speaker 3: Biden has really not said a whole lot about this.
- 6:12Speaker 3: He has argued that he wants to keep distance between
- 6:15Speaker 3: himself and of course the Justice Department and this investigation.
- 6:18Speaker 3: But notably, he did make some very recent comments in
- 6:22Speaker 3: an interview with Stephanie Rule saying, quote, my son has
- 6:26Speaker 3: done nothing wrong. I trust him. Those comments will undoubtedly
- 6:29Speaker 3: come under fresh scrutiny. Now, of course, this does come
- 6:32Speaker 3: about a week after former President Trump pled not guilty
- 6:36Speaker 3: to thirty seven counts.
- 6:37Speaker 1: But by the way, what is Donald Trump pleading not
- 6:39Speaker 1: guilty thirty seven counts had to do with a Hunter
- 6:41Speaker 1: Biden issue? Here? Notice how fast they're ready to move
- 6:44Speaker 1: on now let's talk about Donald Trump here. There's also
- 6:47Speaker 1: something else I want to I want to read for
- 6:49Speaker 1: you as reading these articles, coming out. Here's what one
- 6:52Speaker 1: of them said today. First son Hunter Biden has agreed
- 6:55Speaker 1: to plead guilty to federal tax charges as part of
- 6:58Speaker 1: a deal with the Justice Department that will likely keep
- 7:02Speaker 1: him out of jail. That's how they're reporting this. He's
- 7:07Speaker 1: out of jail. Let's do a deal where you're out
- 7:09Speaker 1: of jail. Let me give you some other headlines just
- 7:12Speaker 1: so you understand the two tiers of justice. Okay, in
- 7:15Speaker 1: this country. And by the way, if you're African American
- 7:17Speaker 1: right now, you should be mad as hell over this
- 7:20Speaker 1: because the headliness I'm about to give you show two
- 7:22Speaker 1: different tiers of justice for a white guy whose son
- 7:27Speaker 1: whose dad is the president, and African Americans in this country,
- 7:31Speaker 1: because there's absolutely racial aspect of this. Okay, So let
- 7:34Speaker 1: me read you this headline. Under the headline, hip hop
- 7:37Speaker 1: rapper Kodak Black gets over three years in prison in
- 7:41Speaker 1: weapons case. The twenty two year old has played guilty
- 7:44Speaker 1: to weapons charges stemming from his arrest just before a
- 7:47Speaker 1: scheduled concert in May. So this guy gets busted. Here's
- 7:54Speaker 1: another one. Lil Wayne pleads guilty to federal gun charges.
- 7:58Speaker 1: The rapture the rapper will be sentence in January and
- 8:01Speaker 1: face up to ten years in prison. Here's another one.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Meek Mill arrested in Philadelphia on gunn charges. The rapper
- 8:09Speaker 1: was arrested in his hometown of Philadelphia in charge with
- 8:11Speaker 1: a legal possession of a firearm and drug possession after
- 8:14Speaker 1: police found a gun on him while walking to the
- 8:17Speaker 1: corner store. Yeah, Meek would be sentenced to eleven to
- 8:22Speaker 1: twenty three months in prison. So there you have it.
- 8:26Speaker 1: You want to know. Another headline, Fat Joe another singer,
- 8:29Speaker 1: sentence to prison for tax evasion. Rapper faces four months
- 8:34Speaker 1: in jail and a fifteen thousand dollars fine. Here's another one.
- 8:38Speaker 1: John Rouhles sentence for tax evasion. The rapper will serve
- 8:42Speaker 1: twenty eight months in addition to two years for a
- 8:45Speaker 1: weapons charge. Here's another one. Why was Wesley Snipe in jail?
- 8:50Speaker 1: He didn't pay all his taxes? Another headline. But for
- 8:54Speaker 1: the President's son, the President of the United States of America,
- 8:58Speaker 1: what happens with him? Oh, it's totally fine, right, totally fine.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It will keep him out of jail. And then they
- 9:05Speaker 1: move on immediately to remind you, well, you know, Donald
- 9:08Speaker 1: Trump's in trouble. He's been indicted on a bunch of charges.
- 9:11Speaker 1: We should have nothing to do with the coverage of
- 9:14Speaker 1: Hunter Biden reaching a pleta on taxas. But it took
- 9:17Speaker 1: them two minutes in fourteen seconds on NBC News to
- 9:23Speaker 1: immediately start talking about Donald Trump and Donald Trump's indictment
- 9:27Speaker 1: last week. That's how fast they've switched it from we're
- 9:31Speaker 1: done here, nothing to see here, let's move on. Who
- 9:34Speaker 1: cares the present lied and said the president's son had
- 9:36Speaker 1: done nothing wrong. Smartest guy I know, has never committed
- 9:40Speaker 1: a crime. Everything's fine, Hunter Biden said that interviews. Now, Okay,
- 9:43Speaker 1: we did something wrong, but we're not going to jail.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Everything's fine. My point is, of course they gave Hunter
- 9:51Speaker 1: a slap on the wrist. Of course the Democratic Party
- 9:55Speaker 1: would move on quickly to Donald Trump in their coverage
- 9:58Speaker 1: in the corrupt media. But the racial aspect of this
- 10:02Speaker 1: is the worst part. This comes just days after the
- 10:07Speaker 1: Trump and indictment, all right, And the reason why is
- 10:11Speaker 1: they wanted to give the look that there is an
- 10:15Speaker 1: equal justice system. They wanted you to believe while they
- 10:21Speaker 1: go after Donald Trump and try to put a former
- 10:23Speaker 1: president jail, that the justice system is fair and accurate. Right,
- 10:29Speaker 1: We've got equal justice. It's nonpartisan. We just charge Hunter
- 10:33Speaker 1: Biden with crimes. We're going after Donald Trump, will go
- 10:37Speaker 1: after both sides. They dragged this out for five years
- 10:41Speaker 1: and the Hunter Biden and this was always their plan.
- 10:44Speaker 1: By the way. Their plan was, don't do anything until
- 10:47Speaker 1: we need it, and then when we need it, we'll
- 10:50Speaker 1: use it. And then when things start to get bad
- 10:51Speaker 1: in Congress and more information comes out, we'll finish and
- 10:54Speaker 1: wrap this thing up. And when we need it now
- 10:57Speaker 1: to give us cover for now trying to put Donald
- 10:59Speaker 1: Trump in prison, we will say. See, there is not
- 11:02Speaker 1: a two tier justice system. The amount of game playing
- 11:08Speaker 1: here should discuss every should discuss every American, because this
- 11:12Speaker 1: is what they do in third world countries. They have
- 11:14Speaker 1: a two tier system. Right slap on again, No jail
- 11:18Speaker 1: time for Hunter Biden. If you are a minority, if
- 11:21Speaker 1: you are a Democratic voter, if you're African American, you
- 11:25Speaker 1: should be livid by the doubles standard here from the
- 11:29Speaker 1: for the present son compare the African American community, because
- 11:33Speaker 1: in the African American community and the and the and
- 11:35Speaker 1: even if you're famous in the African American community, if
- 11:38Speaker 1: you're a musician, a rapper, a singer, a sports figure.
- 11:42Speaker 1: You're gonna go to jail for committing the crimes that
- 11:45Speaker 1: Hunter Biden just committed. But if you're the president's son,
- 11:48Speaker 1: you don't go to jail at all. He should go
- 11:51Speaker 1: to jail. And these aren't the only charges should go
- 11:53Speaker 1: to jail. Four but a five year investigation and this
- 11:56Speaker 1: is all you get out of it. That means the
- 11:58Speaker 1: system is rigged. It was already always fixed, and they
- 12:01Speaker 1: held this thing out until Joe Biden needed a get
- 12:05Speaker 1: out of jail free card, and when they needed it
- 12:07Speaker 1: to say, see, we have a justice system here that's
- 12:11Speaker 1: not corrupt. We can investigate Hunter Biden at the same
- 12:14Speaker 1: time we're investigating Donald Trump. And that's exactly where NBC
- 12:17Speaker 1: News went with us. I'm going to back it up
- 12:19Speaker 1: twenty seconds. Listen again, how fast they start talking about
- 12:23Speaker 1: Donald Trump's indictment.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Recent comments in an interview with Stephanie Ruhle, saying quote,
- 12:29Speaker 3: my son has done nothing wrong. I trust him. Those
- 12:32Speaker 3: comments will undoubtedly come under fresh scrutiny. Now, of course,
- 12:35Speaker 3: this does come about a week after former President Trump
- 12:39Speaker 3: pled not guilty to thirty seven counts that he mishandled
- 12:41Speaker 3: classified documents Republicans the former president have argued that there
- 12:45Speaker 3: are two systems of justice here, one for him, one
- 12:49Speaker 3: for Democrats. Of course, that is an argument that we
- 12:52Speaker 3: have seen both Republicans and Democrats push back against. In
- 12:56Speaker 3: the counterpoint that you'll undoubtedly hear in this case from
- 13:01Speaker 3: Democrats will be that this is a Trump appointed US attorney.
- 13:04Speaker 3: But again, a lot of scrutiny with this new development.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Well, there will be a lot of politics to discuss,
- 13:08Speaker 2: but let's stay on this legal agreement that we just
- 13:10Speaker 2: got word of. And I want to turn to Kendalanian,
- 13:12Speaker 2: who covers Justice Department for US. So Hunter Biden's attorneys
- 13:17Speaker 2: are saying, this is essentially a global resolution of this
- 13:19Speaker 2: five year long investigation into Hunter Biden that looked at
- 13:23Speaker 2: his taxes.
- 13:23Speaker 1: His gun.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Try.
- 13:24Speaker 1: By the way, you noticed how they just said this
- 13:26Speaker 1: is a global resolution. I've never heard that before, a
- 13:30Speaker 1: global resolution. So all the crimes that he has committed,
- 13:35Speaker 1: all the corruption, not registering as a foreign agent, taking
- 13:40Speaker 1: money from the Chinese Communist Party, taking bribes, the Joe
- 13:44Speaker 1: Biden bribery, the father taking five million from Barrisma. By
- 13:48Speaker 1: this new whistle blower, Hunter Biden taking five million from Barrisma.
- 13:51Speaker 1: The whistleblower states, the documents that show that, the bank
- 13:54Speaker 1: records that show that, the transactions that show that the
- 13:57Speaker 1: suspicious sectary reports what NBC News just well, this is
- 14:02Speaker 1: a global and they're admitting he's done horrific things globally.
- 14:07Speaker 1: But while they're saying that he's done horrific things globally,
- 14:09Speaker 1: they're saying, well, this wraps it up. We're all done here.
- 14:12Speaker 1: There's nothing to sit here. Let's go to our another
- 14:14Speaker 1: expert here right at the White House and talk about
- 14:17Speaker 1: how this global Biden crime family. We can kind of
- 14:19Speaker 1: wrap all this up now because it's all good. Now
- 14:21Speaker 1: we can focus on the indictment of Donald Trump.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Kristin referred to also with scrutinizing business dealings that he
- 14:29Speaker 2: had overseas, whether or not he had failed to register
- 14:32Speaker 2: as a foreign agent, among other items. Is it your
- 14:35Speaker 2: understanding that this investigation looked into those matters and has
- 14:40Speaker 2: now concluded there are no charges forthcoming.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Good morning, Savannah. I certainly know from my own reporting
- 14:48Speaker 4: that the investigation did look into those matters, and I
- 14:50Speaker 4: guess the way to put it is, we have no
- 14:52Speaker 4: reason to doubt beyond the record statement from mister Biden's
- 14:55Speaker 4: attorneys that this resolution concludes the inquiry. As you know,
- 15:00Speaker 4: NBC News reported that Hunter Biden received some eleven million
- 15:04Speaker 4: dollars from twenty thirteen through twenty eighteen for his work
- 15:07Speaker 4: with the Ukrainian firm and a Chinese business person, and
- 15:11Speaker 4: that work and some other issues are now the subject
- 15:14Speaker 4: of investigations by congressional Republicans. But we also know that
- 15:18Speaker 4: the Justice Department took a look at those issues and
- 15:21Speaker 4: if Hunter Biden's attorneys are to be believed, found no
- 15:25Speaker 4: evidence of wrongdoing. And in fact, NBC News had previously
- 15:30Speaker 4: reported that there was a felony tax charge on the
- 15:33Speaker 4: table under consideration, related to the improper use of a
- 15:36Speaker 4: business expense. Obviously, the dj has decided not to bring
- 15:41Speaker 4: that charge as part of this agreement, which is significant.
- 15:44Speaker 4: That was the only felony tax charge we were aware of.
- 15:46Speaker 4: And so what you have here are two misdemeanor charges
- 15:50Speaker 4: about willful failure to pay taxes. And as Kristen said,
- 15:53Speaker 4: this gun possession charge possession of a gun by a
- 15:57Speaker 4: user not entitled to possess one, which mister Biden's admitting
- 16:01Speaker 4: to the facts of that charge, but will be entering
- 16:03Speaker 4: a defer to judication and that will be wiped off
- 16:06Speaker 4: his record. So a significant legal victory for mister Biden
- 16:11Speaker 4: in the sense that there is no jail time called
- 16:13Speaker 4: for here, but at the same time an admission of wrongdoing,
- 16:17Speaker 4: even when, as Kristen said, his father has said very
- 16:20Speaker 4: recently that his son did nothing wrong. So he is
- 16:22Speaker 4: admitting to a crime here, but not a felony.
- 16:25Speaker 1: So in other words, we're all good. The president lied
- 16:28Speaker 1: to you again, the president son lied to you, his
- 16:32Speaker 1: attorneys lied to you. They've been lying to you since
- 16:35Speaker 1: the Laptop from Hell came out and really since twenty sixteen,
- 16:40Speaker 1: so that's significant as they describe it. But really outside
- 16:43Speaker 1: of that, everything is fine and normal. When he the
- 16:47Speaker 1: one thing the NBC News said there and the reason
- 16:50Speaker 1: why somebody were going to say, why are you playing
- 16:51Speaker 1: NBC News because I want you to understand how they're
- 16:53Speaker 1: going to play this out. You need to understand the
- 16:55Speaker 1: strategy here behind this. NBC News is calling this a
- 16:59Speaker 1: quote significant victory for Hunter Biden and Joe Biden, Joe
- 17:03Speaker 1: Biden's presidency and his re election, and they are right
- 17:06Speaker 1: in saying that this is massive. This whole thing was
- 17:10Speaker 1: a ruse. They were never concerned or worried about it.
- 17:14Speaker 1: All these misdemeanor charges and adjudication for the gun crime. Again,
- 17:18Speaker 1: this shows you the double standard in this country. And
- 17:21Speaker 1: I'm saying this on race. African American leaders should be
- 17:24Speaker 1: enraged by this. African American pastors should be enraged by this.
- 17:30Speaker 1: African American politicians should be enraged by this because if
- 17:33Speaker 1: you look at how the African American community deals with
- 17:36Speaker 1: the same exact crimes and what they'd get and the
- 17:38Speaker 1: jail time they get compared to the white president, right,
- 17:41Speaker 1: the entitled, rich white president's son who can go around
- 17:46Speaker 1: the world and use the words from Savannagathrie, globally do this, globally,
- 17:50Speaker 1: go out in the world and commit all these crimes
- 17:53Speaker 1: and not be out account before it. There's no way
- 17:55Speaker 1: if you're African American you would get away with us
- 17:57Speaker 1: in this country. So there's a racial aspect of this
- 17:59Speaker 1: that everyone needs to understand. The second part is I'm
- 18:02Speaker 1: just telling you today the American justice system is dead.
- 18:07Speaker 1: The idea that you get a fair trial in this
- 18:09Speaker 1: country is dead. The idea of the justice system is
- 18:12Speaker 1: nonpartisan is dead. And you could hear it by two
- 18:16Speaker 1: minutes in they had to go to Donald Trump. Well,
- 18:18Speaker 1: he got indicted, and this was all fixed from the
- 18:22Speaker 1: beginning because now they can go after Trump like never
- 18:26Speaker 1: before and claim that the system is fair because there
- 18:31Speaker 1: was a slap on the risk for Hunter Biden. If
- 18:34Speaker 1: you look at all the crimes that Hunter Biden has committed,
- 18:38Speaker 1: and you look at the whistleblowers, and you look at
- 18:40Speaker 1: everything that we know about him, this man, based on
