- 2:19Speaker 7: It is.
- 2:19Speaker 6: Did you know that there is a life for you
- 2:25Speaker 6: that's greater than you could have ever dreamed of? Did
- 2:31Speaker 6: you know that there's a life for you better than
- 2:33Speaker 6: the one you've ever felt before? And did you know
- 2:38Speaker 6: that there was a life for you much bigger than
- 2:42Speaker 6: the one you wanted? And lastly, did you know that
- 2:48Speaker 6: what I just said is true? Did you know that?
- 2:55Speaker 6: Did you know that the things I just said are
- 2:57Speaker 6: available to you? It's not just intended for those who
- 3:04Speaker 6: receive awards. It's for everybody. Yeah, you too, It's for
- 3:14Speaker 6: you who didn't get your high school diploma. It's for
- 3:20Speaker 6: you who are incarcerated. It's for you who have two strikes.
- 3:30Speaker 6: It's for you who've been sentenced to life. It's for
- 3:36Speaker 6: you who've gotten out and have a felony record and
- 3:40Speaker 6: can't seem to get it together.
- 3:41Speaker 7: It's for you.
- 3:44Speaker 6: Who have an illness. It's for you who the doctors
- 3:49Speaker 6: have given up on. It's for you. This life I'm
- 3:54Speaker 6: talking about is for you.
- 3:59Speaker 7: Did you know that there's a life.
- 4:03Speaker 6: For you better than the one you dreamed about, better
- 4:06Speaker 6: than the one you've imagined, a life better than the
- 4:10Speaker 6: one you thought of, That there's a life for you
- 4:13Speaker 6: better than the one you've ever felt before. There's a
- 4:17Speaker 6: life for you better than the one you saw for yourself.
- 4:20Speaker 6: There's a better life for you than the one you
- 4:22Speaker 6: expected and even the one you wanted. Did you know
- 4:27Speaker 6: that this is true for you?
- 4:31Speaker 7: See?
- 4:31Speaker 6: Here's here's let me give you the secret to this thing.
- 4:34Speaker 6: Now you have to believe that it is for you. Now,
- 4:41Speaker 6: you gotta fight through the doubts. You gotta fight through
- 4:44Speaker 6: the wheel of satan, because the devil is busy man.
- 4:47Speaker 6: The devil wants you to think that it's hopeless. The
- 4:50Speaker 6: devil wants you to think that this is it. The
- 4:52Speaker 6: devil wants you to think that ain't no more to it.
- 4:55Speaker 6: The devil wants you to think that this applies to
- 4:58Speaker 6: other people. But you, Yeah, you've been dealt the worst
- 5:00Speaker 6: hand of them all, which you ate. But that's what
- 5:03Speaker 6: the devil wants you to think. So you gotta fight through. Now,
- 5:06Speaker 6: You gotta fight through to get to what I just
- 5:09Speaker 6: said is available for you. But what else you got
- 5:11Speaker 6: to do? You ain't doing nothing else, might as well fight.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Why just wake up and just let it be? Why
- 5:17Speaker 6: would you wake up every day and just exist when
- 5:20Speaker 6: there's a chance for you to actually live. See the
- 5:23Speaker 6: reason I don't mind smiling so much now is because
- 5:26Speaker 6: I'm no longer existing.
- 5:28Speaker 7: I'm living now. See.
- 5:30Speaker 6: See, that's what you want to get to. You don't
- 5:33Speaker 6: want to exist to wake up paycheck to paycheck, date today,
- 5:38Speaker 6: not knowing, not understanding, not have and can't can't get this,
- 5:42Speaker 6: can't get that, can't go here, can't go there, Gotta wait,
- 5:45Speaker 6: gota wait, goda wait, goda.
- 5:47Speaker 7: Wait till it seems like you never get nowhere.
- 5:50Speaker 6: You can get out of that rut of life, feeling
- 5:52Speaker 6: like when you wake up in the morning that your
- 5:54Speaker 6: life is whole hum that you just in a rut.
- 5:57Speaker 6: I drive the same way to work. I do the
- 6:00Speaker 6: same thing on my job. When I get off, I
- 6:02Speaker 6: drive all the way back home. I sit there, I
- 6:05Speaker 6: read the newspaper. I watered the lawn. I'm so sick
- 6:08Speaker 6: of my life. It ain't this, ain't what I wanted. Man,
- 6:11Speaker 6: and start wake up and start over, do the same thing.
- 6:15Speaker 6: Then the weekend gets in. You got to mold the lawn,
- 6:17Speaker 6: and then you try to fix something in the garage,
- 6:20Speaker 6: and you feel like your life is in a rut.
- 6:22Speaker 6: I'm talking about if this feels like a rut to you,
- 6:24Speaker 6: and if it's what you've always wanted, I'm cool with that.
- 6:27Speaker 7: But I'm talking to people.
- 6:28Speaker 6: Who want it more, who would love their life to
- 6:31Speaker 6: be more, who would love their life too different to
- 6:34Speaker 6: be different. Now, I'm not criticizing you if I just
- 6:37Speaker 6: described your life. I'm just only talking to the ones
- 6:41Speaker 6: who would dad to believe that there's more to it
- 6:44Speaker 6: than this. I'm only talking to the ones who would
- 6:48Speaker 6: dad to accept the challenge to fight through and see
- 6:52Speaker 6: what God got for you. Instead of listening to Satan
- 6:55Speaker 6: all the time. Devil is busy, man, Please understand he's
- 6:58Speaker 6: so busy, busy trying to trick you, get you into
- 7:02Speaker 6: the groove. You know they doing all kinds of stuff now, man,
- 7:06Speaker 6: you know atheists and already got prayer taken out of schools.
- 7:09Speaker 7: Excuse me, look at our Skiols schools, not as a push.
- 7:12Speaker 6: By the atheists to get the words in God we trust,
- 7:15Speaker 6: taking off our money.
- 7:16Speaker 7: Here's a deal.
- 7:17Speaker 6: If you don't believe in God, and you don't want
- 7:18Speaker 6: trust in God, just going about your business. But what
- 7:21Speaker 6: you can't do is spill off all into what I'm
- 7:23Speaker 6: talking about. That's the problem I have with all of them.
- 7:26Speaker 6: If you're gonna do you, then't do you, but don't
- 7:29Speaker 6: spill off into what I got.
- 7:30Speaker 7: Now.
- 7:30Speaker 6: See, if you don't believe what I'm saying, then I
- 7:32Speaker 6: ain't talking to you. Let's just be clear about the
- 7:35Speaker 6: relationship with Steve Harvey and his crew. I'm only talking
- 7:39Speaker 6: to the people that believe that are looking for something else,
- 7:42Speaker 6: that want something more, that wants something better, that's got
- 7:47Speaker 6: to be out there searching and hoping and trying to
- 7:49Speaker 6: do more. That's all I'm talking to now. If you
- 7:53Speaker 6: don't believe what I'm saying is true, didn't go ahead,
- 7:55Speaker 6: try it your way, go see, write me, email me,
- 7:58Speaker 6: let me know how it's going for you. But I'm
- 8:00Speaker 6: telling you of a way that's tried and true. If
- 8:03Speaker 6: you go to God, if you go to your creator,
- 8:06Speaker 6: your maker, if you go to him and you go
- 8:10Speaker 6: to him for real and tell him, hey, you know what,
- 8:14Speaker 6: I want you to go ahead and take over from here.
- 8:17Speaker 7: I'm done.
- 8:17Speaker 6: I'd have done all I know how to do outa
- 8:20Speaker 6: tried everything I know how to try.
- 8:22Speaker 7: I'm sick of me right now.
- 8:24Speaker 6: Hey, look here, you created me what you want me
- 8:26Speaker 6: to do, and you're the cool thing about it.
- 8:28Speaker 7: When I made that decision, y'all.
- 8:30Speaker 6: See, I was so afraid for years that I was
- 8:32Speaker 6: gonna miss out on something if I did that, I
- 8:35Speaker 6: couldn't do this no more.
- 8:36Speaker 7: But the stuff I needed to stop doing.
- 8:37Speaker 6: I really need to stop the things I was afraid
- 8:40Speaker 6: of not being able to do anymore, with the very
- 8:42Speaker 6: same things I really didn't need.
- 8:44Speaker 7: To be doing no more in the first place.
- 8:46Speaker 6: On the real man, on the real all that temporary
- 8:50Speaker 6: fun I was having all them temporary outlets. I was
- 8:54Speaker 6: using all them temporary things, trying to fulfill myself.
- 8:57Speaker 7: I was doing.
- 8:58Speaker 6: I was just doing a bunch of temporary mess man.
- 9:01Speaker 6: I said, hold up, man, I want something permanent. Man,
- 9:04Speaker 6: I want a permanent feeling in my heart that it's
- 9:06Speaker 6: gonna be all right. So he replaced all that fun
- 9:09Speaker 6: with joy. But it was only because I went and
- 9:12Speaker 6: I faced him. He didn't take me and stop me
- 9:15Speaker 6: from being me. He just made a better version of me. See,
- 9:20Speaker 6: God don't take he because all the stuff he sent
- 9:23Speaker 6: you through, he needed you to go through all him.
- 9:25Speaker 7: He needed you to have him.
- 9:26Speaker 6: Experience of what it felt like to be locked up.
- 9:28Speaker 6: He needed you to have experience and know what it
- 9:30Speaker 6: was to lose everything. He needed you to have experience
- 9:33Speaker 6: to make you tough. You're just gonna be a tough one.
- 9:38Speaker 6: I'm a tough soldier in his army.
- 9:40Speaker 7: That's all. I just say. One of the weak ones.
- 9:43Speaker 7: I protect the weak ones.
- 9:45Speaker 6: God didn't take a lot of stuff from me, except
- 9:48Speaker 6: the stuff I needed. But the stuff he made me
- 9:51Speaker 6: to be, he allowed me to keep it, and he
- 9:53Speaker 6: just made a better of me. Do that, y'all, and
- 9:56Speaker 6: you can have what you want.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Ship.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the ride. The Steve Harvey
- 10:06Speaker 6: Morning Show. It is a great day today. It is
- 10:09Speaker 6: a great day to be here, to be alive, to
- 10:12Speaker 6: be counted, to be in it, to win it. You know,
- 10:17Speaker 6: it's just a blessing man. So please, y'all, don't take
- 10:19Speaker 6: this moment for granted, because you don't have to have
- 10:22Speaker 6: this moment.
- 10:23Speaker 7: This this moment is actually a great gift.
- 10:25Speaker 6: That's why they call it the present, because it's a
- 10:27Speaker 6: gift from God that you made it. Okay, that's how
- 10:30Speaker 6: we looking at it. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:33Speaker 6: Shirley Strawberry, Mississippi, Monica Junior, and the legend that is
- 10:38Speaker 6: nephew Tommy Junior. I ain't got no baseball hat on
- 10:41Speaker 6: the day we're going on.
- 10:45Speaker 8: I got a hair cut over the weekie, and I'm good. Now, Yeah, I.
- 10:53Speaker 9: Got a that's all I just got.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Oh that's where it's going.
- 11:01Speaker 7: But lean down and let's see the curtain.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I can see.
- 11:08Speaker 7: Let me see the side. Family. I like a good bar.
- 11:13Speaker 7: Can I get to my question for un Go ahead,
- 11:15Speaker 7: go ahead, I'll show.
- 11:17Speaker 9: It to you later.
- 11:17Speaker 7: You want to hit me in the back of the
- 11:19Speaker 7: head with a baton, that's what you're talk about.
- 11:22Speaker 10: That later.
- 11:22Speaker 8: But let's talk about sir, what advice do you have
- 11:26Speaker 8: for people who felt left behind? And uh and they
- 11:29Speaker 8: doped themselves about their dreams and visions even at the
- 11:31Speaker 8: age if they are right now, let's say they're over
- 11:33Speaker 8: forty and they feel like right now, you know, I
- 11:36Speaker 8: think it's too late for me right now?
- 11:38Speaker 6: Well, I mean that's the devil's greatest trick is to
- 11:41Speaker 6: rob you of your destiny. And if you think you're
- 11:44Speaker 6: too old, I say, oftentimes on the commercial break a
- 11:47Speaker 6: family feud, if you think you're too old. Just do
- 11:50Speaker 6: you remember the story of Kentucky of Colonel Sanders. He
- 11:54Speaker 6: had his chicken recipe going around for years as a
- 11:58Speaker 6: young man. I mean, he toured the country with this
- 12:02Speaker 6: chicken recipe trying to get somebody believe in it.
- 12:04Speaker 7: Nobody believed in it.
- 12:06Speaker 6: Colonel Sanders did not get his first franchise. He didn't
- 12:10Speaker 6: open up his first building until he was in his sixties.
- 12:15Speaker 6: In his sixties, he was old. You see the picture
- 12:20Speaker 6: on the bucket. If they had a different picture, they
- 12:25Speaker 6: used it. That was the picture they had currently. He
- 12:30Speaker 6: ain't had them more picture. They said, colonel, do you
- 12:33Speaker 6: have a current picture? This is right here. That was it.
- 12:36Speaker 6: That was his current picture. If they had another picture, man,
- 12:41Speaker 6: they to put it on that. It's never too late
- 12:45Speaker 6: for God to bless you. And you got to stop
- 12:47Speaker 6: thinking that. Look at how old Moses was before he
- 12:51Speaker 6: did the things he did. The Bible is full of
- 12:55Speaker 6: old people doing exceedingly exceptional things.
- 13:00Speaker 7: Look at me.
- 13:02Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm living witness man that God is in the
- 13:06Speaker 6: blessed business, even in your latter years. I mean, just
- 13:11Speaker 6: he keep on showing up for me. So no, man,
- 13:16Speaker 6: I don't don't. Don't ever give up. That's a trick
- 13:20Speaker 6: of the devil to make you give up, to make
- 13:23Speaker 6: you think it's too late to rob you of your destiny.
- 13:26Speaker 6: Don't do that. Stay the course. You never know. God's
- 13:31Speaker 6: timing is never hours anyway.
- 13:33Speaker 7: That's what I've found.
- 13:35Speaker 1: All right, guys, thank you.
- 13:36Speaker 11: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:39Speaker 11: hear from the nephew as he runs that Frank back.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning.
- 13:45Speaker 6: Show at the hun Dai Getaway Sales event. Get deals

- 14:05Speaker 6: years or thirty six thousand miles of limited complimentary maintenance.

- 14:12Speaker 12: I think again, But don't wait. The Hondai Getaway sales

- 14:21Speaker 11: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 14:24Speaker 11: prank back what you got for his nest?
- 14:26Speaker 12: Your baby is musty. All right, we got to get
- 14:30Speaker 12: some deodor on nick boy. I don't care how old you.
- 14:32Speaker 12: Let's go get dom.
- 14:34Speaker 9: Hello.
- 14:35Speaker 10: Hello, I'm trying to reach Vanessa. Please? Is is she i Vanessa?
- 14:39Speaker 10: My name is Robert. I'm the one of the owners.
- 14:41Speaker 10: You know, my wife Michelle. We own there.
- 14:45Speaker 13: Yes, yes, yes, yes, Can I help you?
- 14:46Speaker 10: Okay? We've been uh. I think we've had your son, Malik,
- 14:50Speaker 10: probably close to a year now.
- 14:51Speaker 13: All right, Yes, you have everything, okay, so everything's fun.
- 14:55Speaker 10: Everything is fun. I don't think we have a problem
- 14:57Speaker 10: that we can't clear up. I have a question for you.
- 15:02Speaker 10: Have you been noticing anything different about Malik, like concerning
- 15:08Speaker 10: hygiene at all.
- 15:09Speaker 13: Hygiene, No, not that I can recall.
- 15:12Speaker 6: What are you talking about?
- 15:13Speaker 10: Okay? How old is Malik? He's too? Okay, Well, we
- 15:18Speaker 10: soon have come across a little glitch here that we're
- 15:20Speaker 10: going to try to take care of here at the
- 15:22Speaker 10: at the daycare. Actually my wife didn't. I told her
- 15:25Speaker 10: I would make the phone call and leave her out
- 15:27Speaker 10: of it. I know you see her every day once.
- 15:29Speaker 13: Yeah, what glitch are you talking about?
- 15:31Speaker 2: What is this glitch? I'm sorry, glitch?
- 15:33Speaker 13: What is this glitch that you want to talk about?
- 15:36Speaker 13: I'm confused.
- 15:37Speaker 10: Okay, Well, actually what we're having is it seems like
- 15:40Speaker 10: every day here lately for the last two months, Malik
- 15:44Speaker 10: has been you know, very musty. You know, he hasn't
- 15:48Speaker 10: been really sweaty, but just real musty.
- 15:50Speaker 13: Okay, you clearly have the run child, because I give
- 15:53Speaker 13: my son a bath every night, and most mornings before
- 15:56Speaker 13: he beats to school, I give him another bath again.
- 15:58Speaker 13: So yeah, I'm pretty busy if you have the wrong child.
- 16:01Speaker 10: No, ma'am. Your son is Malik, right, and he's two
- 16:04Speaker 10: years old. You guys have been here with us right
- 16:06Speaker 10: close to a year now, correct, Yes, and okay, and
- 16:10Speaker 10: he's a cute little kid with the curly hair. I
- 16:12Speaker 10: know exactly which one he is. So what I'm what
- 16:15Speaker 10: I'm saying to you is that we are having problems.
- 16:18Speaker 10: He's just he's just reeking. You know, he's real musty.
- 16:21Speaker 13: Okay, you know what my son does not reek. I
- 16:23Speaker 13: don't know what child you're talking about, but you're not
- 16:25Speaker 13: talking about my child. I just told you and make
- 16:27Speaker 13: sure that he gets a back every night.
- 16:29Speaker 1: So that's not my child.
- 16:30Speaker 13: My child is very clean.
- 16:31Speaker 10: Okay, Well, well hang on, Vanessa. What I'm trying to
- 16:34Speaker 10: get you to understand is I'm trying to This is
- 16:36Speaker 10: why my wife didn't want to call. Okay, and I'm
- 16:38Speaker 10: glad I'm actually the one that made the call. What
- 16:40Speaker 10: we need to do. This is what I'm gonna do.
- 16:42Speaker 10: I'm just gonna try a little experiment for the next
- 16:45Speaker 10: month or so. Experiment. I'm sorry, what do you mean experience?
- 16:49Speaker 10: What kind of experiment? What I'm gonna do is I'm
- 16:51Speaker 10: gonna put some male deodorant on him for the next
- 16:54Speaker 10: well just for the next month, and we'll see how
- 16:56Speaker 10: it plays out.
- 16:57Speaker 13: No, no, no, you're not. You're not going to put anything
- 16:59Speaker 13: on my child.
- 16:59Speaker 10: That's gonna happen. Okay, Well, ma'am, I'm trying to. I'm
- 17:02Speaker 10: trying to fix the problem here. I just wanted to
- 17:04Speaker 10: call it.
- 17:05Speaker 13: He doesn't have a problem. I already told you that
- 17:06Speaker 13: my son is clean. You're not going to put any
- 17:09Speaker 13: on him, and if you do, it's going to be
- 17:11Speaker 13: a problem. Do you understand me?
- 17:12Speaker 10: Okay, ma'am. I'm not trying to have an argument with you.
- 17:15Speaker 10: What I want you to know.
- 17:16Speaker 13: Is I'm not trying either, But you're trying. You talking
- 17:19Speaker 13: about putting your I'm I tell you you can't do that.
- 17:22Speaker 13: I'm not gonna have to happen in Please don't make
- 17:24Speaker 13: me have to come back to that school for you
- 17:26Speaker 13: and your wife.
- 17:27Speaker 10: Okay, ma'am. Listen, we're gonna have to do something about
- 17:30Speaker 10: your child. Your child is musty, okay, And you're sitting
- 17:33Speaker 10: here getting an attitude with me, and I'm trying to
- 17:34Speaker 10: let you know your child.
- 17:36Speaker 13: Is much that's a nonciense. Maybe you're the one that's musty.
- 17:38Speaker 13: Maybe you and your wife are musty. My child is
- 17:41Speaker 13: not musty. I keep telling you that I base him
- 17:43Speaker 13: every night. Which part of that? Don't you want to stand?

- 22:48Speaker 11: from Shawnee and Tulsa. Shawnee writes, I took gourmet cooking
- 22:51Speaker 11: classes after my wedding to please my husband, but he
- 22:55Speaker 11: won't let me cook. He's a great cook, and he
- 22:58Speaker 11: said he has always wanted a wife that he can
- 23:00Speaker 11: cook for. He won't eat my food, and I know
- 23:04Speaker 11: it's tasty. Why can't he let me cook?
- 23:08Speaker 6: Well, Shirley has said this, I know it's tasty, and
- 23:14Speaker 6: you know, and and we've had to tell her.
- 23:18Speaker 7: It ain't tasty like you think it is.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 23:22Speaker 6: You know everything is tasty, it don't mean it's good.
- 23:27Speaker 6: So your hubs don't want your cooking. He said he'd
- 23:30Speaker 6: always wanted a wife he could cook for he got it.
- 23:33Speaker 6: Why won't you enjoy the ride, cook for the kids,
- 23:35Speaker 6: go over there, cook at your mama's house, Cook at
- 23:38Speaker 6: the family reunion, cook at the gatherings, cook at the pot. Love,
- 23:42Speaker 6: it'll be your turn to bring a pot.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Just let him cook.
- 23:45Speaker 11: I mean, what is the problem here? This is greatness
- 23:49Speaker 11: to me, all right. Moving on to Malik in Brooklyn,
- 23:54Speaker 11: Malik writes, my wife wants separate bedrooms. I've been using
- 23:58Speaker 11: the bathroom. I've been using the bathroom room in our
- 24:00Speaker 11: guest room for the past year, and now she wants
- 24:03Speaker 11: me to sleep in the other bedroom. She said, we
- 24:06Speaker 11: need the separation after eighteen years as marriage does this
- 24:09Speaker 11: makes sense to you?
- 24:14Speaker 7: Going in that path.
- 24:15Speaker 1: He must have doing some stuff, That's what it is.
- 24:22Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 24:22Speaker 6: It's almost like he for charging here for aiding in
- 24:25Speaker 6: the bedding. Uh you know what they call it when
- 24:30Speaker 6: you hide.
- 24:31Speaker 1: A criminal, like he's a fugitive.
- 24:36Speaker 6: Yeah, in the bed and all of that. Yeah, he
- 24:40Speaker 6: and that bathroom getting charges put on him, you know.
- 24:45Speaker 1: So she couldn't take it anymore, and she said this
- 24:47Speaker 1: is enough.
- 24:49Speaker 6: Yeah, bro, I mean, after eighteen years, how old are y'all?
- 24:52Speaker 6: I think it's gonna Yeah, it's around. It's a round room.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Wow, it's a marriage.
- 25:00Speaker 7: This happens. So, this happened a lot done.
- 25:02Speaker 6: We're not where the older couple starts staying in different rooms.
- 25:08Speaker 7: He asked me to start sleeping somewhere else.
- 25:10Speaker 6: I'm gonna take the message you're not going and start
- 25:14Speaker 6: sleeping in some way.
- 25:15Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be in the house necessarily, somebody else.
- 25:21Speaker 7: Maybe where are you sleeping.
- 25:25Speaker 11: In another bedroom? This is from Pasha and DFW CLO.
- 25:33Speaker 11: Pasha writes, my boyfriend and I went to a day
- 25:35Speaker 11: party together. He got with his friends and told me
- 25:38Speaker 11: to ride home with one of my girls because they
- 25:41Speaker 11: were going to smoke cigars. I made him take me
- 25:44Speaker 11: home first. He said, I'm extra, what's wrong with what
- 25:47Speaker 11: I did? She wanted to ride back with who she
- 25:50Speaker 11: came with. What's the problem, what's clo.
- 25:57Speaker 7: It's hard for a married man to answer.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, what's the problem.
- 26:04Speaker 7: I need to know it?
- 26:06Speaker 1: Hello.
- 26:09Speaker 7: See it's kind of that's a hard because I understand.
- 26:12Speaker 6: Both both people, both sides. I understand both people. You know,
- 26:17Speaker 6: the dude, they went to a day party. Very rarely
- 26:20Speaker 6: to get that you knew what it was. You knew
- 26:22Speaker 6: all the guys was going. He just asked you to
- 26:25Speaker 6: catch a ride with one of your girls, and so
- 26:29Speaker 6: he could just go right over there with the fellas. Now,
- 26:32Speaker 6: she insisted that you take me home first. What y'all understand?
- 26:37Speaker 7: What you understand? Okay, Now he got to drive way
- 26:41Speaker 7: across town. It probably burn.
- 26:44Speaker 11: He ain't going he's not going back to back to
- 26:49Speaker 11: the house.
- 26:50Speaker 7: He's not going back to kicking with the fellas after that.
- 26:52Speaker 7: It's too late.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Oh.
- 26:56Speaker 11: So she stopped him from kicking in with the fellas,
- 26:58Speaker 11: but she wanted to come.
- 27:01Speaker 1: She wanted to run.
- 27:04Speaker 6: See, both of them has to be considerate, m h.
- 27:09Speaker 6: And in this case, the woman is going to win.
- 27:14Speaker 7: You got to get to girl home.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Yeah, yeeah, he.
- 27:17Speaker 7: Got to And you can't talking about what? Yeah?
- 27:21Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know, don't I don't I don't even
- 27:25Speaker 6: know how to fix my mouth saying stuff like that.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Take an uber baby.
- 27:30Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 27:31Speaker 6: So he told, hey, no, you extraly, come on, now,
- 27:35Speaker 6: you could have went on home one of your girls.
- 27:37Speaker 7: I could have went with your fellas. True.
- 27:39Speaker 4: True.
- 27:43Speaker 11: She was feeling like, you know, she was feeling like
- 27:45Speaker 11: he didn't want to hang out with her anymore.
- 27:47Speaker 7: Like he.
- 27:50Speaker 6: Suppose okay, okay, suppose you got a day party and
- 27:53Speaker 6: there's other couples there, and then all the fellas decide
- 27:57Speaker 6: they going to smoke cigars, and all the women saying, hey,
- 28:01Speaker 6: well we'll hang out with each other, we'll drop each
- 28:03Speaker 6: other off. Then no, no, no, you take me home.
- 28:09Speaker 6: She being a little extra. That's extra.
- 28:14Speaker 9: So we can't put it in no.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Newly married?
- 28:19Speaker 7: No use?
- 28:25Speaker 9: Why can't Why can't put They got the service? Why
- 28:27Speaker 9: I can't put in? That's why they exist?
- 28:33Speaker 6: But do you hear yourself though? Are you listening to you?
- 28:38Speaker 6: Why I can't put it in there? Yeah?
- 28:41Speaker 7: How that saying? Because that's how they gonna hear it too. Oh,
- 28:44Speaker 7: you're gonna put me in a stranger's car. All this
- 28:49Speaker 7: stuff is happening in these ubers. You know the temperature
- 28:54Speaker 7: gonna be like when you get back to the.
- 28:55Speaker 9: House, I don't know.
- 29:01Speaker 6: Yep, yep, yeah, but you gonna be in Arizona.
- 29:06Speaker 7: We done told you to go to anyway.
- 29:09Speaker 1: All right, So that's what it is, all right?
- 29:11Speaker 11: Last one, Steve, mister s and Gatlinburg says, when I'm
- 29:14Speaker 11: in my when I was in my forties, I messed
- 29:16Speaker 11: with a lady and then realized I had been with
- 29:18Speaker 11: her sister too, but I.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Kept it to myself.
- 29:22Speaker 11: I'm sixty five and married now, and the lady recently
- 29:25Speaker 11: confronted me about this.
- 29:27Speaker 1: It was just a hookup. So do I owe her
- 29:29Speaker 1: an apology?
- 29:32Speaker 10: No?
- 29:32Speaker 7: Don't. That was twenty five years ago.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Yeah, why yeah, why are you now?
- 29:41Speaker 6: Unless you married to one of them, unless one of
- 29:44Speaker 6: them is the wife you got you got just stick clip.

- 30:17Speaker 7: Another one.
- 30:18Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:24Speaker 11: So, guys, the numbers are in from President Donald Trump's
- 30:28Speaker 11: address to Congress a week ago. Last Tuesday Night's address
- 30:31Speaker 11: drew in the thirty six point six million viewers. That's
- 30:35Speaker 11: a lot, you would think, right, and this is according
- 30:37Speaker 11: to Nielsen. Well, that number is lower than any of
- 30:41Speaker 11: Donald Trump's previous four messages to Congress. The highest rating
- 30:45Speaker 11: for a presidential address belongs to Bill Clinton, who drew
- 30:48Speaker 11: a wopping sixty six point nine million PRIs back in
- 30:52Speaker 11: nineteen ninety three.
- 30:54Speaker 14: Yeah, numbering, Yeah, because you know, he always fascinated by
- 31:01Speaker 14: crowd size anyway, and he always you know, goes overboard,
- 31:07Speaker 14: so he probably won't be too happy with this one.
- 31:11Speaker 10: Uh.
- 31:12Speaker 6: I don't know, man, this is just uh, this is
- 31:15Speaker 6: a heck of a situation to be in. That's all
- 31:17Speaker 6: I can tell you. And man, y'all better buckle up
- 31:20Speaker 6: because this dude, he's a long way from being through.
- 31:23Speaker 6: But you but have you seen now starting reel in
- 31:26Speaker 6: Elon Musk. They started to custom you know, real mad
- 31:30Speaker 6: at him. The other dude mad at him. They getting
- 31:33Speaker 6: tired of eling.
- 31:35Speaker 11: So his day as Yeah, he calls his day Elon.
- 31:47Speaker 6: And then you see that spaceship that hero that the
- 31:49Speaker 6: second one that then blew up. Uh huh, dog, I
- 31:53Speaker 6: don't know why people be talking about riding up in
- 31:55Speaker 6: this spaceship stuff. They be talking about. Man the dog
- 31:58Speaker 6: two of his is then blew up? Why why what
- 32:01Speaker 6: I'm getting on that? Well, don't get on them dog
- 32:05Speaker 6: on submarine. Yeah, and then Tesla stock is falling down,
- 32:13Speaker 6: people turning in Tesla's because they don't like him.
- 32:18Speaker 11: Well, oh yeah, so you were saying they're separating, you know,
- 32:22Speaker 11: they're they're not getting as close as they were because
- 32:24Speaker 11: a lot of people are mad at him, Trump and him.
- 32:26Speaker 1: You said, it's just a matter of time before.
- 32:29Speaker 6: I told you that, man, it's just amount of time
- 32:31Speaker 6: when that when when Trump gonna real him in, Because
- 32:34Speaker 6: Trump not finna let you.
- 32:35Speaker 7: Appear bigger than him. Van's gonna open up his.
- 32:37Speaker 6: Mouth one time too many times too. He gonna shut
- 32:40Speaker 6: him down. He's gonna take that eyeline off and everything.
- 32:45Speaker 6: I ain't never seen any vice treasuring eyeline anybody.
- 32:49Speaker 7: Ain't nobody gonna mention this.
- 32:51Speaker 1: We're the only ones in steel.
- 32:54Speaker 6: His ideas around his eyes his peaked, I know.
- 32:59Speaker 11: Yeah, and you forget that you have it on and
- 33:02Speaker 11: you rub your eyes and it's all a mess all
- 33:04Speaker 11: over your eyes, all right. Moving on into some really
- 33:08Speaker 11: bizarre news. On Saturday in Inglewood, CarMax customer deliberately drove
- 33:14Speaker 11: into the dealership, hitting employees and several customers. According to
- 33:18Speaker 11: CarMax reps, the man had his vehicle appraised before the
- 33:22Speaker 11: incident occurred. No further details were provided. Lapd reported that
- 33:27Speaker 11: after driving through the showroom of CarMax, the suspect attempted
- 33:31Speaker 11: to flee from police. He is in the custody of
- 33:34Speaker 11: the Inglewood Police Department right now. Several people were hit
- 33:38Speaker 11: and wounded, leaving two people critically injured. People are I mean,
- 33:42Speaker 11: this is kind of crazy. Don't you think the car
- 33:44Speaker 11: wasn't worth what he wanted?
- 33:46Speaker 1: This sounds like it. Yeah, it sounds like it.
- 33:49Speaker 6: Yes, they were probably off by about three four hundred,
- 33:55Speaker 6: so you know what. But it sounded like though he
- 33:57Speaker 6: had figured on getting thousands more. Yeah, that's what it
- 34:02Speaker 6: sounds like. Because he came through one dough and went
- 34:04Speaker 6: out the other dough.
- 34:06Speaker 7: I saw a video. This dude was clowning.
- 34:10Speaker 1: How do you do this?
- 34:12Speaker 6: Because he I think, see here's this is a scenario
- 34:15Speaker 6: I think happened.
- 34:17Speaker 7: He had a figure in his mind.
- 34:20Speaker 6: Cormacks is not gonna ever give you what your figure
- 34:24Speaker 6: in mind ever, never, because they gonna take your car
- 34:28Speaker 6: and resell it for profit. Now you go to Carmacks
- 34:32Speaker 6: because you can get an instant quote. You need money now, right,
- 34:37Speaker 6: it's a it's a it's I mean, it's a great system.
- 34:39Speaker 7: They got a Carmack, but you're always really like a
- 34:43Speaker 7: really pimped out pawn shop.
- 34:45Speaker 1: For Yeah, you're you're never gonna agree on the price.
- 34:48Speaker 1: You and Carmacks.
- 34:49Speaker 7: You're never going to give you thirty two hundred right now.
- 34:53Speaker 7: I'm just saying thirty right now. He needs eight to stay.

- 36:22Speaker 11: 're requiring squad, Yeah.
- 36:26Speaker 10: Yeah he did.
- 36:28Speaker 7: Yeah, you could do that.
- 36:29Speaker 1: He didn't.
- 36:30Speaker 11: Yeah, he didn't want the other methods, you know, execute,
- 36:34Speaker 11: lethal injection or the electric chair.
- 36:36Speaker 1: He didn't want that. Yeah, So they.
- 36:38Speaker 6: Put a hood on your hand and then they put
- 36:40Speaker 6: a round circle over your heart.
- 36:43Speaker 10: All right.
- 36:44Speaker 11: Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, Texas Congressman
- 36:47Speaker 11: Al Green is reprimanded for his outbursts before Trump's addressed
- 36:50Speaker 11: to Congress.
- 36:51Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. Okay, this is
- 36:55Speaker 1: Mary J.
- 36:55Speaker 5: Blood.
- 36:56Speaker 1: What's up? You Just let us see what's going on.
- 36:58Speaker 7: Greetings inside you teations everybody.
- 36:59Speaker 15: This is when you are locked into the best morna
- 37:02Speaker 15: show Alradio. You know I'm talking about Steve Harvey Morner Show.
- 37:05Speaker 15: Keep it lock right here. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 37:08Speaker 15: Morning Show. This message is brought to you by Pfizer.
- 37:15Speaker 15: Let's talk health.
- 37:16Speaker 11: You may not know about new maccle disease, but if
- 37:19Speaker 11: you're fifty or older, or nineteen or older. With certain
- 37:22Speaker 11: medical conditions like diabetes, you're at risk and it could
- 37:25Speaker 11: turn your plans big or small, into a hospital visit
- 37:29Speaker 11: to get vaccinated. It's one action you can take to
- 37:32Speaker 11: help protect against newmacacle pneumonia and invasive new maccle disease.
- 37:36Speaker 11: Keep enjoying everything you're looking forward to, even if it's
- 37:40Speaker 11: just a podcast schedule a shot at vax assist dot com.
- 37:45Speaker 11: So Texas Congressman al Green has been censured by the
- 37:49Speaker 11: US House of Representatives for shouting out multiple times during
- 37:53Speaker 11: President Trump's addressed to Congress on last Tuesday. Al Green
- 37:58Speaker 11: eventually had to be removed from the chamber. The vote
- 38:01Speaker 11: to censure him him was twenty four to with ten
- 38:06Speaker 11: Democrats voting along with the Republicans.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Here we go with that censure.
- 38:10Speaker 11: Yeah, is a public repand it's a public reprimand for
- 38:14Speaker 11: a behavior not befitting the House. You know, they'll they'll
- 38:18Speaker 11: kind of publicly humiliate you on the House floor, you know,
- 38:21Speaker 11: for doing this. But they didn't do it to the
- 38:23Speaker 11: other guy who did it to President Obama. Remember when
- 38:26Speaker 11: he shouted out, liar, nothing happened to him anyway.
- 38:31Speaker 6: Then they were all standing around the support. Some of
- 38:34Speaker 6: his supporters were there singing, we shall overcome.
- 38:37Speaker 7: That's a man if y'all don't stop this.
- 38:41Speaker 11: Yeah, it carries no legal waiter or anything like that
- 38:44Speaker 11: to be censured. But what about the Democrats voting along
- 38:47Speaker 11: with the Republicans.
- 38:49Speaker 1: We can't Just.
- 38:51Speaker 7: The Democratic Party to me is in shams.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Yeah it is.
- 38:56Speaker 7: We don't. We don't have anything.
- 38:58Speaker 6: All. All we're doing right now hell is talking about
- 39:02Speaker 6: what Trump is doing wrong. No counterproposal, no plan of attack, nothing,
- 39:09Speaker 6: because we just don't.
- 39:10Speaker 10: Man.
- 39:11Speaker 7: And you know, look, man, you can't grumble.
- 39:15Speaker 6: And be mad at this guy for four years and
- 39:17Speaker 6: then when it's time to put up a candidate come
- 39:20Speaker 6: up with somebody and all of a sudden have a platform.
- 39:23Speaker 6: I don't understand it because they right, but you should
- 39:27Speaker 6: hear what the Republicans are doing. Man. They're putting stuff, okay,
- 39:31Speaker 6: like when he passed the bill to stop a transgender
- 39:34Speaker 6: athletes from playing in female sports. Male transgender athletes can't
- 39:39Speaker 6: play it in female sports.
- 39:42Speaker 1: And if they do the school, yeah.
- 39:45Speaker 6: Then like Governor newsoms out in California, he kind of
- 39:49Speaker 6: agreed with it.
- 39:50Speaker 7: Right. Well, now they mad at him, but hold up, man,
- 39:54Speaker 7: see y'all, y'all.
- 39:55Speaker 6: Gotta stand for something here, something that's got to make sense,
- 39:59Speaker 6: because you can't go along with everything. You've got to
- 40:03Speaker 6: make sensible stands. I happen to think that what they
- 40:07Speaker 6: should do is allow them to have a league.
- 40:11Speaker 7: Let everybody be able to participate in sports.
- 40:14Speaker 6: Yeah, get your own league and then you can do
- 40:16Speaker 6: it however you want to. Now, that's the solution.
- 40:19Speaker 11: Yeah, and it's it could be a solution. But Democrats
- 40:22Speaker 11: are not coming up with any solution. That's solutions, that's
- 40:26Speaker 11: what you're saying.
- 40:26Speaker 6: They're just they seem to be there mad And Governor
- 40:29Speaker 6: Newsom's for a kareem, what man ask you put someone
- 40:34Speaker 6: like that in a competition with females? How does how
- 40:37Speaker 6: does the female's body can't win? No, you cannot win
- 40:43Speaker 6: because of the male strength. Can't win. Come on, man,
- 40:46Speaker 6: that's why they have the NBA and the WNBA. You
- 40:49Speaker 6: could clearly see the difference.
- 40:52Speaker 11: Yeah, all right, guys, all right, coming up, but coming
- 40:56Speaker 11: up in thirty four minutes after Tommy Ready to Love,
- 40:59Speaker 11: fans have question about last week's episode and we'll get into.
- 41:02Speaker 1: It after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:12Speaker 11: All right, So Ready to Love Congratulations is in season ten.
- 41:16Speaker 11: Tommy on Own and Yeah, we found this question from
- 41:21Speaker 11: fans on Reddit about last Friday's episode. The fans want
- 41:25Speaker 11: to know why Eddie had a problem with Coley trying
- 41:30Speaker 11: to lean in and kiss him on the at the
- 41:32Speaker 11: block party. Remember that at the block party she leaned
- 41:35Speaker 11: in tried to kiss him. When the man had their
- 41:37Speaker 11: meeting in the vault, Eddie told the guys that he
- 41:39Speaker 11: didn't think it was appropriate. So here's the question. Is
- 41:44Speaker 11: it a turn off if a woman is forward, if
- 41:48Speaker 11: a man considers a woman forward, or is it different
- 41:51Speaker 11: if you like her?
- 41:52Speaker 6: I think if it's too early, if it's too early
- 41:55Speaker 6: in the relationship and getting to know each other, you know,
- 41:59Speaker 6: just to run up and try to plant one on me. Now,
- 42:01Speaker 6: you got to keep in mind, this is Ready to Love,
- 42:04Speaker 6: So he's this is uh, this is just about to
- 42:06Speaker 6: go on for for weeks. Just just think if he
- 42:10Speaker 6: did kiss her, now they have coming idle Yeah, now
- 42:14Speaker 6: they have to coming out.
- 42:15Speaker 12: Now all the other ladies like, no, no, no, I
- 42:17Speaker 12: just wanted to kissing. Yeah no, no, no, So no
- 42:20Speaker 12: I don't. I don't think he's wrong at all. I
- 42:22Speaker 12: think he had every right to be like, no, no, no,
- 42:24Speaker 12: you're not going to kiss me. That's nothing happened like that.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Has that ever happened to you, guys? As a woman.
- 42:30Speaker 6: Trying to he was trying to plant one on me
- 42:36Speaker 6: all the time.
- 42:38Speaker 7: Come here, he signed an autograph. You're dead in the
- 42:41Speaker 7: mind trying.
- 42:41Speaker 1: To get him, Junior. Has this ever happened to you?
- 42:48Speaker 1: Somebody trying to kiss to meet you?
- 42:49Speaker 9: Forward?
- 42:50Speaker 7: That's what I think.
- 42:51Speaker 9: If you really start kissing and you for what, I'm
- 42:53Speaker 9: forward too.
- 42:56Speaker 7: Too forward?
- 42:57Speaker 9: Yea to forward start a push. That's come on.
- 43:02Speaker 11: See what if this happened to you? If the woman
- 43:05Speaker 11: is just trying to kiss you, what do you do?
- 43:07Speaker 11: I mean, seriously, what do you do?
- 43:10Speaker 7: It ain't never been nobody I wanted that whole damn
- 43:13Speaker 7: problem with me.
- 43:14Speaker 11: That you wanted to that you wanted to kiss you.
- 43:18Speaker 11: Kissing is pretty intimate. I mean, when you think about it,
- 43:21Speaker 11: it's pretty intimate.
- 43:22Speaker 6: Always somebody hunt. Hey baby, I was in bass pro
- 43:29Speaker 6: shop the other day. You live in this so I

- 44:00Speaker 6: Lose because of him. He was such a great guy.
- 44:03Speaker 6: And there was a very large woman shopping in Badge
- 44:07Speaker 6: pro shop. Very lady came up to me as soon
- 44:11Speaker 6: as she saw me and said, it's my favorite. I
- 44:14Speaker 6: want a big old hug and a big old kiss,
- 44:18Speaker 6: and so many things was running through my mind because
- 44:25Speaker 6: she actually looked like a large mouth bass. That's actually
- 44:28Speaker 6: what she That sit there with you got to know
- 44:37Speaker 6: how I feel about fishing though, So.
- 44:43Speaker 7: We was in bass froom. She looked like a large mouth,
- 44:46Speaker 7: and I just.
- 44:48Speaker 11: So see yours is different from Tommy, because Tommy says
- 44:50Speaker 11: women try to kiss him all the time. Yours is
- 44:53Speaker 11: a little different.
- 44:55Speaker 7: Come on, Tommy, be a little look saggerated.
- 44:59Speaker 5: So oh is that true? Tommy?
- 45:04Speaker 1: Were you not being truthful with us.
- 45:06Speaker 6: When you've been very truthful, I mean very honest and
- 45:08Speaker 6: truth Well, a lot of times they thank you a baby,

- 56:31Speaker 1: All right, nephew, thank you.
- 56:32Speaker 11: Subject my fixer upper is feeling himself. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 56:37Speaker 11: I met my boyfriend at the car dealership. I was
- 56:40Speaker 11: there for an oil change and he greeted me. There
- 56:43Speaker 11: was a long wait time, so during that time I
- 56:46Speaker 11: enjoyed talking to the man. He told me about how
- 56:48Speaker 11: he moved in with his son and grandson two years
- 56:51Speaker 11: ago after his divorce. He told me he is a
- 56:54Speaker 11: lead mechanic at the dealership, but he's trying to open
- 56:57Speaker 11: his own garage at the dealership, but he's trying to
- 57:00Speaker 11: open his own garage. I felt something for this man
- 57:04Speaker 11: and how he's rebuilding his life at age fifty eight.
- 57:07Speaker 11: He asked me to have dinner with him, and I
- 57:09Speaker 11: said yes. He asked me to take it easy on
- 57:12Speaker 11: him because he can tell I like the finer things
- 57:14Speaker 11: in life that humbled me. So on our first date,
- 57:18Speaker 11: I ordered a salad out of respect for his financial situation.
- 57:22Speaker 11: He needed a lot of TLC because he was rough
- 57:25Speaker 11: around the edges. So here we are eleven months later
- 57:29Speaker 11: and he practically lives with me. I helped him buy
- 57:32Speaker 11: a cash car, and I've bought him a lot of
- 57:35Speaker 11: clothing and shoes to update his wardrobe. I didn mine
- 57:39Speaker 11: because I see him as my fixer upper. I finally
- 57:43Speaker 11: got him to cut his hair and shave his spatial hair.
- 57:46Speaker 11: His dental work is all done, and I can see
- 57:48Speaker 11: that he's more confident. He's far too handsome to work
- 57:51Speaker 11: at the dealership now, so I have encouraged him to
- 57:54Speaker 11: look for other jobs. There is just one little thing
- 57:58Speaker 11: that's bothering me, though. He has really been feeling himself lately,
- 58:02Speaker 11: and he'll brag about how other women flirt with him
- 58:05Speaker 11: at work. He told his son that he's backing better
- 58:08Speaker 11: than ever, and I didn't like that. He has been
- 58:11Speaker 11: hiding his phone lately and coming home a lot later
- 58:16Speaker 11: if he's seeing someone else. I will feel like such
- 58:18Speaker 11: a fool. After I've done all, after all I've done
- 58:22Speaker 11: to uplift this man. Is he going through a phase
- 58:24Speaker 11: or have I fixed him up for the streets? Well,
- 58:28Speaker 11: you've definitely fixed him up, for sure, you've done that.
- 58:32Speaker 11: And I think you fixed him up for someone else
- 58:34Speaker 11: as well. I mean that's kind of you know what
- 58:37Speaker 11: you're thinking. Anyway, he's coming home later. You know, he's
- 58:42Speaker 11: hiding his phone and all of that. This is a man,
- 58:46Speaker 11: not a house that you've fixed up. You know, fix
- 58:48Speaker 11: the upper is usually for houses.
- 58:53Speaker 1: You already know what it is.
- 58:54Speaker 11: You've done way too much for this ungrateful man, and
- 58:57Speaker 11: he just sat back and let you do it all.
- 59:00Speaker 11: But who wouldn't. I mean, he is a great life.
- 59:02Speaker 11: He looks good thanks to you. You've provided him with
- 59:04Speaker 11: the place to live. You put clothes on his back,
- 59:07Speaker 11: you put teeth in his mouth. He's a fully grown man.
- 59:10Speaker 11: You're taking care of him like he's your son or something.
- 59:13Speaker 11: You call him your fixer upper, but you're getting nothing
- 59:17Speaker 11: from him in return. He can't even be respectful to you.
- 59:20Speaker 11: I mean, he's hiding his phone, like you said that
- 59:23Speaker 11: you probably paid for at this point, so there's only.
- 59:29Speaker 1: One reason for that.
- 59:30Speaker 11: I mean, I think he has something to hide, So please,
- 59:33Speaker 11: you got to stop throwing your money away on this man.
- 59:36Speaker 11: Even though you say you like fixer uppers, you know,
- 59:39Speaker 11: does this man deserve that? Though you got to ask
- 59:42Speaker 11: yourself that I say, keep your money and your time
- 59:44Speaker 11: and your love to yourself. He should be doing these
- 59:46Speaker 11: things for you, not the other way around.
- 59:49Speaker 6: Steve Lady, I don't understand this letter at all. The
- 59:57Speaker 6: subject is my fixer up is feeling himself. Now, obviously
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: this is a woman who likes projects. She has a
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: nurturing spirit, as do a lot of women. But you
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: like projects, and you took this project on, and you've
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: done all of this stuff right here. Let me just
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: start by saying, right off the dribble, you have done
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: way too much, because nowhere in this letter do I
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: see a single redeeming quality of this man. Not one
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: time in this letter, of all you've done for him,
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: have I heard anything that he's done for you anything.
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: You met him at a car dealership. You was there
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: for all change. He greeted you. It was a long
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: time doing the wait, so you enjoyed talking to him.
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: He told you how he moved with his son and
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: grandson after this didvorced He was a lead mechanic at
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: the dealership. But he tried to open his own garage
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: and all the thing, and you felt something because he
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: was rebuilding his life. At fifty eight, he asked you
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: to have dinner with him and everything, and then he
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: asked you to take it easy on him because he
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: could tell you like the finer things in life.
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: That humbled me. So on my first date, I ordered
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: a salad out of.
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: Respect for his financial situation. Okay, waiting, no hold up them.
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: He the lead mechanic you done to humble yourself to
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: where you just ordered a salad. Now, how broke is he?
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: You ask a woman out to dinner, but then you
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: can't afford to take her. Now you sit over there
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: eating a salad. I mean, I appreciate the kind gesture,
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: but you gotta start looking after this. I saw nothing else.
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: All he did was asked you to go out to dinner.
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: He needed a lot of TLC because he was rough
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: round the edges. So now you say, eleven months later
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: and he lived with you, you bought him a cash car,
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: which probably means a car for cash.
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: I don't know if cash cars a half or something. Anyway,
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: you helped buy him a cash car I bought him
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: a lot of clothes and shoes for his wardrobe. I
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: didn't mind because I see him as my fixer upper.
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: You should have saw him as your man or something.
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: He's far too handsmome to work at the dealership. Now
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: you don't got him to shave his facial hand to
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: do his tea girl.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on.
- 1:02:48Speaker 11: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters subject
- 1:02:54Speaker 11: my fixer upper is feeling himself.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this Steve Hardy

- 1:03:23Speaker 6: years or thirty six thousand miles of limited complimentary maintenance.

- 1:03:30Speaker 12: Think again, But don't wait. The Hondai Getaway Sales Event

- 1:03:36Speaker 12: It's a great day for a new Hondai, all right,
- 1:03:39Speaker 12: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:03:42Speaker 12: my fixer upper is feeling himself.
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: Wow, here's a lady that likes projects, and she's done
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: so much for this man. But nowhere in this letter
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: do I see where the man has done anything for her.
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: He got a divorce. He's fifty eight. He moved in
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: town with his son, his grandson. He leave mechanic at
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: the dealership. She went to get a change. He's the
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: leading mechanic. They had to wait for a long time,
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: so they said down to talk. She discovered all these
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: wonderful things about him, and you know, then he invited
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: her to dinner, and she said yes. Then he said,
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: take it easy on me, because I can tell you
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: like to find the things in life. So she's sitting
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: up there at the dinner table in order to sell it.
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: I mean, I work with you for damn. I can't
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: get no protein. I can't get chicken.
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: Got chicken.
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: Chicken, that's usually a nice, safe, cheap item. He needed
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: a lot of TLC because he was rough around the edges.
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: So then she jumps the story. Here we are eleven
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: months later. He practically lives with me. I helped him
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: buy a car Outne brought him a lot of clothes
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: and shoes, updated wardrobe, and then she said, I don't
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: mind because I see him as when I fixer upper,
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: he was a woman who likes projects. I finally got
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: him to cut his hair, shave his facial hair, His
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: diner work is all.
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: Done, and I can see that he's more confident.
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: Then the lady said, he's far too handsome to work
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: at the dealership now, so I've encouraged him to look
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: for other jobs.
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: But that's just one little thing bothered me.
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: Now he been feeling hisself lately, and he'll brag about
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: how other women flirt with him at work. He told
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: his son he's back and better than ever. I didn't
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: like that he been hiding his phone. He comes in
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: a lot later if he's seeing someone else. I feel
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: so much like a fool after off I've done to
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: uplift his man. Is he going through a phase or
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: have I fixed him up from the streets? What has
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: he done for you? I haven't heard anything. Has he
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: made your life more financially comfortable? I don't think so,
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: because you're spending a lot of money fixing him up,
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: and that's probably your money and then what what has
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: he given you? Look, he's hiding his phone, he's coming
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: home later. I mean, like, I can't help this dude
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: right here. You got him fixed up for the streets.
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: He ain't never had no attention before. You just took
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: little mister fixer up to the little mister raggedy, raggedy mouth.
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: Don't cut his hair, he ain't got no clothes. What
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: did you see in him? Just all you saw was
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: a project you couldn't have saw. You have, got his
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: teeth done, got him to cut his facial hair. He
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: get his hair cuts now, and now he wear clothes,
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: got him a car, He.
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: Got him a car. I mean he lived with you,
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: lady too much.
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: You he's done if he if you bought him all
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: that stuff, that means he ain't brought you nothing. If
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: you just spend all this money fixing him up, you've
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: taken money from yourself to fix him up.
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: Did you want to fix her upper or did you
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: want a husband? Did you want to fix her upper
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: or did you want a partner? Did you want to
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: fix her upper or did you want someone that you
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: can plan with? Because I heard nothing about your plans.
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: So lady, you've done too much, she said. Let him
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: going out there in them streets and let him have it.
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: But let me tell you something, though he just got
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: fixed up at fifty eight.
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: He don't know what he needed to know.
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: You don't all of a sudden get to look and
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: he ain't got no substance behind them, because right now
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: you might have, well, just fixed up this big old,
- 1:07:53Speaker 6: pretty nothing ass man.
- 1:07:57Speaker 11: Well, if she says that, I didn't mind because I
- 1:07:59Speaker 11: see him as my fixer upper.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: So yeah, she was looking what she likes a good project.
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: But I'm saying, no, she you need If you're gonna
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: do this for a man, it's got to be more
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: than for a project. He's got to have some redeeming
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: quality to say. Man, with a little bit of help,
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: I can push him over the top.
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: Right. So now he wants to open his own garage
- 1:08:21Speaker 7: one day. But you say he too too handsome to
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: work at the dealership. What what does that mean?
- 1:08:28Speaker 10: Right?
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: So what is he gonna quit?
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: He too handsome to work at the dealership? So where
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: is he finish? Go get this job for pretty men?
- 1:08:39Speaker 10: What?
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: What job is that?
- 1:08:42Speaker 10: What?
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: I don't I don't know what job is at Junior
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: Kane as Tommy. Keep keep Tommy his mic off because
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: I don't want him to try to jump in.
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: Over there. He got yeah, new shoes on some teeth.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: She's even ballads for him.
- 1:09:11Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: This is too much.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: She's done too much. She's done way too much, way
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: too much for this man.
- 1:09:17Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, fifty eight. All right, you can leave your comments.
- 1:09:23Speaker 11: Oh okay, Tommy, Steve asked a question. I didn't ask
- 1:09:31Speaker 11: a question, but you know I'm being messy right now.
- 1:09:35Speaker 11: You wanted to know where do they where do they
- 1:09:37Speaker 11: hire cute men?

- 1:11:15Speaker 8: and and and all.
- 1:11:16Speaker 9: That's fine.
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: How do we handle that jumpy? Is we waiting on
- 1:11:21Speaker 8: the apology or we wait on the next track meet?
- 1:11:23Speaker 8: Is what do I need to know because we don't
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: see each other again?
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: Well, my baby, my baby, girl, you didn't hit it
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: in the back of the head. In high school, they
- 1:11:34Speaker 7: were running the June the four about two hundred meter
- 1:11:38Speaker 7: what what is that? That's that's something that's.
- 1:11:43Speaker 9: Yeah, it's a relay for about two hundred meters.
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: I just want to know.
- 1:11:47Speaker 9: Do we let me slide and wait on this apology?
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: I don't know how to judge these times.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: No moments, but answer Junior's question, though, do we just.
- 1:11:58Speaker 9: Let this slide? We just got just go ahead?
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: And you know what the girl just said. The girl
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: said she accidentally hit her in the head. How you ask?
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: I don't know how you pack your hand back and
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: bust somebody in the back and there some passing me?
- 1:12:15Speaker 10: What? Yo?
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: You know how many people I would have had to
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: knock out because they passed me.
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: Oh, I've been passed before.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: She didn't get reprimanded at all.
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: She did. I'm pretty sure that's gonna cost her in
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: track meets.
- 1:12:37Speaker 9: Yeah, because see, I'm thinking the next track me. I
- 1:12:41Speaker 9: don't care what lane she is. I'm going to that lane.
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: I'm coming over there.
- 1:12:46Speaker 9: She could be an eight. I'm in one my two
- 1:12:49Speaker 9: crossing lane.
- 1:12:50Speaker 6: Well but junr but junior, Junior, Theesus Jesus young ladies,
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: high school women she was from. But do you want
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: to promote that, Junior. I've got four daughters. I've never
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: talked to him to fight, never talked. I'm not going
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: to tease my daughter to fight. But but but it's
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: going to be some girls that I hire just coming
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: to the meet. They coming to the meet.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Now we gangsters, Now what.
- 1:13:25Speaker 7: Her cousins is coming to the meet?
- 1:13:29Speaker 9: Point her out which one?
- 1:13:31Speaker 10: What? No?
- 1:13:32Speaker 9: But she got on her back.
- 1:13:36Speaker 11: All right, Junior, you all work it out. Coming up
- 1:13:40Speaker 11: next at the time of the hour, a man needs
- 1:13:42Speaker 11: some advice, Steve. He found out his wife isn't boycotting
- 1:13:45Speaker 11: certain stores. He needs your help. We'll get into it
- 1:13:48Speaker 11: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:56Speaker 11: All right, This one's from Tim and Lansing.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Steve.
- 1:13:59Speaker 11: He says, I've found out that my wife has not
- 1:14:01Speaker 11: been participating in the boycott. She's been ordering things and
- 1:14:06Speaker 11: picking them up from the store or having her packages
- 1:14:08Speaker 11: sent to her job. She said, that tomorrow is not promised.
- 1:14:12Speaker 11: So she's living to the fullest while she's here and
- 1:14:15Speaker 11: not depriving me or herself of any luxuries.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: We're used to. I understand her point, but what about
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: sending a message to big companies?
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: What do I do?
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: My question for that is, this is just a curious question,
- 1:14:30Speaker 6: probably for Monica. But surely you go that too. Does
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: Target have luxury items?
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: This story said nothing about luxury items.
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: But no, no, it does.
- 1:14:43Speaker 6: Surely that story says she says she's not going to
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: deny her or him any of the luxuries of life.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but she didn't say it was Target though. That's
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: my point.
- 1:14:54Speaker 7: Well, that's what we boycott.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:15:00Speaker 11: We're gonna do Amazon, Amazon this whole week. Yeah, Amazon,
- 1:15:04Speaker 11: this whole week.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: So what should he do?
- 1:15:06Speaker 11: What should the husband do? That's that's his question, because
- 1:15:09Speaker 11: obviously he wants to boycott.
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: Yeah, but you know, this woman here, it's got nothing
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: to do with tomorrow being promised.
- 1:15:16Speaker 7: She's just using that as the reason she wanted to
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: just keep on shopping.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Shopping.
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: There are people who are addicted to these apps. It's
- 1:15:24Speaker 6: people that's addicted to shopping. There's people that love getting
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: packages like Christmas.
- 1:15:30Speaker 11: Yeah, I love it, but you know I'm participating in
- 1:15:33Speaker 11: the boycott. No Amazon for me this week, for sure.
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: I'm just telling y'all, right now, don't put bass Pro
- 1:15:39Speaker 6: in this. Put them in don't put them in this.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Your favorite got nothing to do with the boycott.
- 1:15:51Speaker 6: Don't don't don't put bass pro shops in it. I'm
- 1:15:54Speaker 6: not gonna be an help y'all.
- 1:15:55Speaker 11: See, we have to send these companies a message. Okay, yeah,
- 1:15:59Speaker 11: we all, but just don't listen to me, especially.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: About the programs. And if they like them.
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: You know that vast prod full of black people, the
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: ones I go to and they still that Sergeant Roy Wembley,
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: it's still at the one down there, and make it
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: my dog, casey, little doc litd T was just in
- 1:16:22Speaker 6: the little time LiOD time to pro bass fisherman saw
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: his truck outside, said man, that's a nice truck.
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: Went right in there.
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: Man he had on the little jersey, said liud time
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: with all the patches on it, and in love. But
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: if he taught me so much about boy shops, well
- 1:16:40Speaker 6: we're boycott and who we got a boycott? That's the
- 1:16:42Speaker 6: true We got the statement and make a message Amazon.
- 1:16:47Speaker 6: We yes, well I just got the app, so.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Well, don't order anything.
- 1:16:55Speaker 10: It was.
- 1:16:56Speaker 7: You don't have to worry about that though. It's easy
- 1:16:59Speaker 7: for me. Okay.
- 1:17:02Speaker 11: Yeah, Like he said, he wants to send a message
- 1:17:04Speaker 11: to the big company, but his wife isn't participating, so
- 1:17:08Speaker 11: he's just so he'll just have to continue boycotting and
- 1:17:10Speaker 11: let her do whatever.
- 1:17:11Speaker 7: So Sureley, what's your bass pro? Which? Which one you
- 1:17:14Speaker 7: want to make sure it's not on the list?

- 1:29:08Speaker 11: You guys are crazy as always always. Hey, Steve, before
- 1:29:13Speaker 11: we get out of here, someone else needs your help
- 1:29:15Speaker 11: and your advice. This one's from Laney and Roanoke. Laney says,
- 1:29:20Speaker 11: I'm a forty nine year old single mom and my
- 1:29:23Speaker 11: son walked in on me with a man in my room.
- 1:29:26Speaker 11: He was shirtless, I was naked, but under the covers.
- 1:29:30Speaker 11: I don't think I have to explain anything to my
- 1:29:33Speaker 11: thirteen year old who came into my room without knocking.
- 1:29:37Speaker 11: My visitor said that I should talk to my son
- 1:29:39Speaker 11: about what he saw. My son knows better, so do
- 1:29:42Speaker 11: I have to from Laney.
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: Well, your son knows better, but he did it. Well,
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: you at least got to have this conversation about privacy
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: and knocking. But then he thirteen, He just saw his
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: marble in a bed who was naked and a man
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: who had Oh.
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: No, that's god.
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: Come on, now, boy thirteen, what you're talking about? Do
- 1:30:05Speaker 6: I owe him anything? Who You're gonna just leave him
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: like that because he tripped? Yeah, trust and believe he tripped.
- 1:30:12Speaker 11: Nobody wants to see their parents like that. Note one,
- 1:30:15Speaker 11: I don't care how old.
- 1:30:16Speaker 7: You are, he's thirteen.
- 1:30:19Speaker 6: You gotta have some discussions, yeah, because his mind gonna
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: go all over the place because he gonna he gonna
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: have to process this. Now do you want him to
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: process it the correct way or the incorrect way? And
- 1:30:32Speaker 6: so you must have a conversation with him about it that.
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: I don't feel like I owe him nothing. You can
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: play that role if.
- 1:30:38Speaker 7: You want to.
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: You ain't got no lock on your door. Yeah, the dude, no,
- 1:30:43Speaker 6: hey man, because plus, you know, let's look at this.
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: Suppose this relationship turns into summer. You got a man
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: who knows. Man, this boy just saw me with his mom.
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: He already know if he was a thirteen year old boy,
- 1:30:56Speaker 6: he would be tripping. Yeah, so yeah, you gotta say
- 1:30:59Speaker 6: something to it.
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: So what should she say? That's the next question. What
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: should she say to her son?
- 1:31:06Speaker 7: I just want to talk to you about what happened.
- 1:31:11Speaker 6: Look, I'm an adult, I'm divorced, I'm in a relationship
- 1:31:16Speaker 6: with this man. I should have had the door locked
- 1:31:20Speaker 6: and you should have knocked. But he is a really,
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: really decent.
- 1:31:25Speaker 7: Man and I have feelings for him.
- 1:31:29Speaker 6: Listening and we were having a private moment that all
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: of a sudden became not so private.
- 1:31:36Speaker 7: I'm sorry you had to walk in and see that,
- 1:31:39Speaker 7: but let's not have it happen again. And then and
- 1:31:43Speaker 7: then you need some damn dead boss.
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: I wonder what he wanted, the little boy. I wonder
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: what he wanted and whatever he ain't want that he
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: did not a true statement.
- 1:31:57Speaker 7: I don't know what he wanted. I do know it
- 1:32:01Speaker 7: wasn't that.
- 1:32:02Speaker 11: No, No, the man with shirtless his mom was naked,
- 1:32:05Speaker 11: but under the cover. God, yeah, wow, can you imagine
- 1:32:14Speaker 11: seeing your parents?
- 1:32:15Speaker 7: It's just I don't even.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: You don't want to you don't want to think about that. Yeah,
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying.
- 1:32:22Speaker 11: No one wants to see that, so yeah, yeah, but
- 1:32:26Speaker 11: I mean, that's a good, good way to start the conversation, Steve,
- 1:32:30Speaker 11: to have the conversation with the kids, that's.
- 1:32:33Speaker 7: The only way to do it. The next conversation we
- 1:32:35Speaker 7: need to have is talk about haircut.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: You're back on that.
- 1:32:44Speaker 7: Your haircut looks at but I know some coming.
