- 1:58Speaker 1: on your thack at it. Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now one and only. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:09Speaker 1: radio show, Man, one more time. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:13Speaker 1: radio show. Yeah I do, man. I thank God for
- 2:16Speaker 1: it every day. You know, Um, my message this morning,
- 2:21Speaker 1: man is real clear. Uh is something that's been on
- 2:23Speaker 1: me to share, and it's it's amazing. You know, Um,
- 2:32Speaker 1: God can do some amazing things for you. But what
- 2:38Speaker 1: happens along the way is and I don't know that
- 2:42Speaker 1: I mean to say, but but the fact that God
- 2:46Speaker 1: can do some amazing things for you, that comes adversity
- 2:50Speaker 1: along with it. Every single time it it just goes
- 2:58Speaker 1: without saying, and I've as I was on this press
- 3:03Speaker 1: tool last week, and I was going through everything I
- 3:05Speaker 1: was going through, and I was doing what I was doing.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I was having a of a fairly I mean well
- 3:12Speaker 1: not fairly, but a hugely successful week. I had never
- 3:16Speaker 1: seen this type of hatred before. I hadn't seen it.
- 3:23Speaker 1: And it's it's a great trick that the devil does.
- 3:26Speaker 1: You know, when when God is blessing you and giving
- 3:29Speaker 1: you some some some great opportunities in your life, as
- 3:32Speaker 1: all of you have gone through, and it is isn't
- 3:35Speaker 1: it amazing how some negative thing crops up and that's
- 3:39Speaker 1: what you have to focus on. I found out that
- 3:42Speaker 1: I don't have to, but you wind up focusing on
- 3:45Speaker 1: it and your energy goes over to that to try
- 3:48Speaker 1: to deal with it counteract. Wonder why I was happening.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You gotta make phone calls? What was this about? Blah
- 3:54Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah, and and it and it and
- 3:56Speaker 1: it it throws you off the course you are on
- 4:00Speaker 1: the beginning of the week. I was so grateful, I
- 4:03Speaker 1: was so amazed. I was really thanking God for opportunity
- 4:07Speaker 1: for this brief moment, the enemy slides this this little
- 4:12Speaker 1: factor in there that causes you to and it requires
- 4:16Speaker 1: your attention. You have to pay an attention because you
- 4:18Speaker 1: don't know what you're going. Wow, man, let me see
- 4:20Speaker 1: what this could really be? How how much dirt is
- 4:23Speaker 1: this really that they're trying to do? And so it
- 4:26Speaker 1: requires your attention. But in that attention, you lose your
- 4:31Speaker 1: focus on really all the blessings and the good thing
- 4:34Speaker 1: that God does for you. That the enemy has an
- 4:38Speaker 1: amazing trick that he does that, And it was and
- 4:41Speaker 1: it was in my head. I gotta tell y'all all
- 4:43Speaker 1: week long, man, and I was doing some amazing stuff.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I was having such a blessed week man, in terms
- 4:50Speaker 1: of press and pr and where God was taking me.
- 4:53Speaker 1: And then when I got back, I was talking with
- 4:57Speaker 1: my wife and then I was talking to a good
- 5:00Speaker 1: friend of ours and they shared something that really helped
- 5:06Speaker 1: me out. And they said to me, new level, new devil.
- 5:14Speaker 1: You know it's it's it's something really simple, but new level,
- 5:17Speaker 1: new devil. Every time you go to another level, every
- 5:23Speaker 1: time you go a little bit higher, every time God
- 5:27Speaker 1: has a blessing in store for you, every time He
- 5:30Speaker 1: moves you in position. Do you understand that the enemy's
- 5:35Speaker 1: job is to make you not see the blessing, make
- 5:38Speaker 1: you not be grateful for it, lose your focus and
- 5:42Speaker 1: focus on this that I just threw in your way there,
- 5:45Speaker 1: stumbling block, this obstacle, this trickery. And man, I was,
- 5:50Speaker 1: I was, I gota. I just gotta tell you, man,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I mean, it was so filled with hatred that I
- 5:55Speaker 1: had to I really spent some time addressing it. I
- 5:58Speaker 1: you know, I got publicists on the phone. I said,
- 6:00Speaker 1: What's what's happening here? You're not watching this? You're not
- 6:03Speaker 1: what what? What was? What was this attack? You knew
- 6:05Speaker 1: that you didn't know these angles? What what was? And
- 6:07Speaker 1: you know, Steve Chill, new level, new devil. If you
- 6:14Speaker 1: get a promotion on your job, guess what, somebody ain't
- 6:18Speaker 1: happy that you got the promotion. So here comes to Hey,
- 6:21Speaker 1: you don't even you don't even really know these people.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You you have no idea every time you make a
- 6:28Speaker 1: decision to make your relationship with your spouse better. Man,
- 6:33Speaker 1: this is it. You know what I'm gonna start doing.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this, man, so me and my girl
- 6:37Speaker 1: can go on and have this on. Me and my
- 6:38Speaker 1: man can go on and have this watch what happened
- 6:41Speaker 1: every single time, here comes the new level, the new devil,
- 6:47Speaker 1: the trick. You don't need to do that. What you're
- 6:49Speaker 1: doing that for her? She don't appreciate it. He ain'
- 6:51Speaker 1: gonna appreciate it. Look over here, man, look at that
- 6:54Speaker 1: right there. Ain't he nothing? You know, he missed, He
- 6:57Speaker 1: didn't call you, And he said, it's going all types
- 6:59Speaker 1: of stuff. It just happens all the time. And I
- 7:02Speaker 1: was sitting here talking with this friend, really good friend,
- 7:05Speaker 1: very spiritual person, and they said, you know something, Steve.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You know, I was talking to Jesus and said I
- 7:11Speaker 1: was having this conversation with Christ and I said, God,
- 7:15Speaker 1: for real, you mean to tell me every time that
- 7:20Speaker 1: something good happens to me? You mean every time I
- 7:24Speaker 1: try to go to the next level, every time you
- 7:26Speaker 1: put me on the next level. You mean to tell
- 7:29Speaker 1: me that I gotta go through this right here? Are
- 7:32Speaker 1: you for real? She and then my friend said, Jesus said,
- 7:38Speaker 1: they did it to me, and we just fell out laughing.
- 7:44Speaker 1: They did it to me, They did it to him.
- 7:49Speaker 1: They did it to him for him to go to
- 7:51Speaker 1: the next level. And you know, I was just I
- 7:54Speaker 1: was just going over the whole story about the crucial
- 7:56Speaker 1: fixion and everything that had to be amazing man of
- 8:00Speaker 1: all the hate he had endured, all the prosecuting he
- 8:02Speaker 1: had doing. They thought, ultimately, what we'll do is we'll
- 8:07Speaker 1: nail him on the cross and crucified, and that'll be
- 8:10Speaker 1: the end of him. And we'll put him in his
- 8:12Speaker 1: tune and we'll put this big stone up there, and
- 8:15Speaker 1: that'll be the end of him. But what they did
- 8:17Speaker 1: not know was all you was doing was setting the
- 8:20Speaker 1: tone for the next level, because eventually the stone got
- 8:24Speaker 1: rolled away and he went and got placed with his
- 8:27Speaker 1: father where he was headed to. Anyway, he ultimately knew
- 8:32Speaker 1: that his ultimate goal was to get to his father.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So when you when you when you thought you were
- 8:40Speaker 1: doing what you were doing to him, and you put
- 8:44Speaker 1: him in the tune, and you put the big stone
- 8:45Speaker 1: up in there, and the stone got rolled got rolled away,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and he went eventually to where he was trying to
- 8:51Speaker 1: get to. That story is in place for all of
- 8:57Speaker 1: us to remember that when y'all going through some things,
- 9:02Speaker 1: could it be because we're going to a place, you know,
- 9:06Speaker 1: It could be just a place in life. It could
- 9:08Speaker 1: be just a different level in life. That's all it
- 9:11Speaker 1: has to be, but there's going to be the adversarial
- 9:16Speaker 1: challenges that come with it, and those are the moments
- 9:19Speaker 1: we must expect, expect, and take them head on and
- 9:23Speaker 1: still not lose your focus or appreciation for what God
- 9:27Speaker 1: has done for you. So in light of all of that,
- 9:30Speaker 1: I'm able to say the day that I thank my
- 9:32Speaker 1: heavenly Father, I really do for all the blessing season
- 9:35Speaker 1: bestowed upon me, and all of the haters and all
- 9:39Speaker 1: of the liars and all of the backstabbers and all
- 9:43Speaker 1: those people. When you get through lying, when you get
- 9:46Speaker 1: through stabbing, when you get through gossiping and doing what
- 9:51Speaker 1: you do, I'm still going to the next level. I'm
- 9:58Speaker 1: still going. You cannot stop what God Is has in
- 10:03Speaker 1: store for you, No one can stop that. Keep your
- 10:07Speaker 1: faith right there where it's supposed to be in God,
- 10:10Speaker 1: and just remember new level. New devil gonna keep stepping
- 10:14Speaker 1: he over there. He gotta do his job now, he
- 10:16Speaker 1: is who he is. You know, he's evil, So he
- 10:19Speaker 1: gonna do his job. And please no, he has plenty
- 10:23Speaker 1: of people who are willing to work for him free
- 10:27Speaker 1: of charge. Absolutely, man ain't got nothing else to do.
- 10:31Speaker 1: They ain't going away anything to watch you go nowhere
- 10:34Speaker 1: they don't like you. I'm gonna do everything I can
- 10:36Speaker 1: to show people how much I don't like you. But
- 10:38Speaker 1: watch this every single time. When they get through lying,
- 10:41Speaker 1: writing it, typing it, saying it, all they're gonna do
- 10:44Speaker 1: is watch you go right on up to that next level.
- 10:47Speaker 1: All they are is preparation. I have learned some amazing
- 10:50Speaker 1: things from last week. I'm ready now new level. Cool
- 10:55Speaker 1: with it to ladies and gentlemen, man, I have your
- 11:03Speaker 1: attention please in the United States, one from America. There
- 11:07Speaker 1: are a few things that you can count on. This
- 11:09Speaker 1: happens to be one of them. We are consistently the same.
- 11:15Speaker 1: We are not fake news. We are always ignorant. You
- 11:21Speaker 1: might be wrong there, sir. Just wanting to have a
- 11:28Speaker 1: number that high alone is exactly Good morning Steve for real,
- 11:36Speaker 1: Good morning Steve, Hey crew, Hey Julior morning, Uh Jeff.
- 11:43Speaker 1: If we get a lower number, we might not be
- 11:45Speaker 1: working for that higher number. Well, it's been an interesting weekend, man,
- 11:54Speaker 1: a week was Kevin Hard did great over the weekends.
- 12:01Speaker 1: The Browns. The Browns at least had me with my
- 12:06Speaker 1: head up. Ain't they ain't going out easy? Another overtime
- 12:11Speaker 1: maker may feels. I didn't even see the whole game.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I was keep proud. Man, he's gonna be a long time.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I was very proud when I walked in and saw
- 12:22Speaker 1: him in overtime. No, he's gonna be that long time.
- 12:25Speaker 1: There's a hustler. Hunh. He has no quitting. Yeah, that's
- 12:30Speaker 1: what I like. He kept coming back and training, training,
- 12:35Speaker 1: blow we had forced to be reckoned with. Now, So
- 12:41Speaker 1: can I just ask? Because I know not much about
- 12:44Speaker 1: I know nothing about it. Come on, y'all, So y'all
- 12:48Speaker 1: happy with this loss? Is that what you's in? Well,
- 12:51Speaker 1: they don't care. I'm the only one from Cleveland. Oh,
- 12:58Speaker 1: at least have a fight. We were losing. We weren't
- 13:01Speaker 1: even in it. He's not as defeated as he normally
- 13:04Speaker 1: would be. That's what you're noticing. I'm noticing they put
- 13:11Speaker 1: up forty two points. You normally win a game with
- 13:14Speaker 1: forty two points. I thought it was yeah, see that, right, Theddy,
- 13:21Speaker 1: you're fighting through me And that just threw me right there,
- 13:25Speaker 1: like Junior tell him the good dudes. J Also, you
- 13:36Speaker 1: wait a minute, come on, Houston, Texas is in the
- 13:40Speaker 1: wind color? That asked another question, does that mean Junior
- 13:50Speaker 1: get to talk a little more trash in Cleveland. Since y'all,
- 13:54Speaker 1: I'm sure you have to say something. You weren't gonna
- 13:57Speaker 1: bring it up. I wasn't gonna bring it up. But
- 14:02Speaker 1: it ain't that how thing. I'll tell you one thing
- 14:12Speaker 1: you showed better be glad him Dawn Brown's ain't win.
- 14:17Speaker 1: But in all honesty, I actually picked Houston. This you did,
- 14:22Speaker 1: you did right? All right? We gotta go, guys. We'll
- 14:26Speaker 1: come back with a weekend review. We'll find out what
- 14:29Speaker 1: everyone did over the weekend, especially you, Steve. We know
- 14:32Speaker 1: you have a story you always do. And where's your nephew? Uh.
- 14:37Speaker 1: We'll be back at right after that. See you're listening
- 14:43Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, time for weekend review. So, Steve,
- 14:48Speaker 1: you know you always have such interesting weekend stories. What
- 14:52Speaker 1: did you do this time? What happened Friday? I was
- 14:57Speaker 1: a little under the weather. I was just a little rundown.
- 15:01Speaker 1: So I didn't lead a house fry. That's rare. You're
- 15:04Speaker 1: you're never sick? Yeah, yeah, I wasn't really sick though.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I was just exhausted. I was just I mean, I
- 15:11Speaker 1: got up, I couldn't function well. You know that's a
- 15:14Speaker 1: surprise to no one, I think considering your workload. You
- 15:18Speaker 1: know I was dumping it in this week. So yeah,
- 15:20Speaker 1: I can nobody call you lazy. Oh that lazy is
- 15:26Speaker 1: not what you could ever be called. And some other
- 15:29Speaker 1: names you could be called lazy. And sometimes you don't
- 15:33Speaker 1: know how tired you are until you actually stopped your body.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Go thank you. Watch this. I was going to collapse.
- 15:43Speaker 1: You see me over here. Just peanut butter sandwich and
- 15:50Speaker 1: go to sleep. Jay, Do you know how Steve goes
- 15:54Speaker 1: asleep when he's really tired. You gotta hear that. You
- 15:58Speaker 1: gotta hear this, No the whole production. If I'm at
- 16:02Speaker 1: night and I'm real sleepy and I finally make it
- 16:06Speaker 1: to the house, I immediately go upstairs and even though
- 16:11Speaker 1: I have no hair, I grease my scalp, which saw
- 16:17Speaker 1: eight gloves maine control. Then I tied up in a scarf,
- 16:26Speaker 1: but that ain't your mama, not on. Then I put
- 16:32Speaker 1: on a white T shirt, and under that white T shirt,
- 16:37Speaker 1: while I'm heating up a washcloth in the oven on
- 16:44Speaker 1: three fifty, I take a glob of vixed vapor rug
- 16:50Speaker 1: rub it all into my chest, put a franger full
- 16:55Speaker 1: full of it right up under my nose. Take that
- 16:59Speaker 1: high washcloth, put it under my shirt, laying on my
- 17:05Speaker 1: chest and let the cool and meth all started slowly
- 17:09Speaker 1: take me away. Then I get some corn huskers lotion
- 17:14Speaker 1: all vasoline, completely smother my feet in it. And then
- 17:20Speaker 1: get some of them big thick gray wool hunting socks
- 17:24Speaker 1: and pull them up and roll them down, and Daddy
- 17:28Speaker 1: is and I fall into the bed and lay on
- 17:31Speaker 1: my back. I'm talking about all the way. You can't
- 17:38Speaker 1: even tell I'm a man. All you see if they're
- 17:41Speaker 1: not on that engine, Mama scoff and I just this
- 17:44Speaker 1: is better than cow gone. It just takes me away.
- 17:48Speaker 1: What is the al al is on six? Because I
- 17:54Speaker 1: needs that cover to do all that. And I put
- 17:58Speaker 1: up one extra quill so I can get that breaking
- 18:02Speaker 1: a fret gold. Yeah. The only thing on me cool
- 18:06Speaker 1: is just right between my eyebrows. That's all you see,
- 18:12Speaker 1: because the scarf got the head warm. Right between my
- 18:16Speaker 1: eyebrows is the only cool spot over my body. Man,
- 18:22Speaker 1: sleep till tomorrow and don't get up to go to
- 18:29Speaker 1: the bathroom. Just laying now, man, don't worry about it.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Just some moat lee for a while. It's a very
- 18:40Speaker 1: warm shiit say, but you gotta stay still after that
- 18:44Speaker 1: because you roll over, it's gonna get cold. Yeah, man,
- 18:50Speaker 1: you're really tired then this weekend. Huh yeah, that's what
- 18:54Speaker 1: happened to me then. But to play golf yesterday with
- 18:57Speaker 1: my buddy Dr Phil. Dr Phil Phil, Yeah, play golf
- 19:03Speaker 1: and it's just me and him at his golf course.
- 19:06Speaker 1: So we wouldn't play golf. You heard him. I think
- 19:12Speaker 1: he doesn't silent silence put out there, well sev ducr Phil.
- 19:20Speaker 1: He's got to have a few things, you know, so
- 19:23Speaker 1: he's standing around waiting for him to come out. So
- 19:27Speaker 1: that's what the other people was out o Carla feb
- 19:38Speaker 1: we've met Dr Phil though. He was really fun. He
- 19:40Speaker 1: was so cool. Yeah, he was really really just a
- 19:46Speaker 1: really really nice guy and very genuine and sincere. Yes,
- 19:52Speaker 1: he was cool. Oh that was cool playing playing golf
- 19:56Speaker 1: with Dr Phil. Wow, that was home with Dr Pepper.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Look at your life and your life. I'm with a
- 20:07Speaker 1: Dr Pepper. Damn diet Dr Pepper. Play it on, Steve.
- 20:11Speaker 1: You're doing a damn thing. Boy. It's a little hate
- 20:16Speaker 1: with it too. Making a companion. I had ice cold
- 20:22Speaker 1: die down the pepper. I'm in your back. Ye what
- 20:31Speaker 1: has happened? Jay? That what you told yourself? Jake, doctor Pelper.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Have you ever been on Dr Phil show? Step you have? Yeah?
- 20:47Speaker 1: Yeah that's what I thought. That's cool. Yeah, that's really good. Yeah.
- 20:52Speaker 1: We live we lived through you. So when you tell
- 20:57Speaker 1: you right now, though, the biggest story I got in
- 20:59Speaker 1: my life is I'm still on the Vegas with you.
- 21:00Speaker 1: That's about tail. But brand on it stop. Yeah, that's it.
- 21:05Speaker 1: That's all I did. Yea, Yeah, And I like we're
- 21:07Speaker 1: going to work every week. I like that one every week.
- 21:11Speaker 1: You guys want you nominated. It's like you want or
- 21:19Speaker 1: what's up? You want to go golf trip this weekend?
- 21:22Speaker 1: I mean this week? Why not? You think the hell?
- 21:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, man, I'm gonna get all new equipment
- 21:29Speaker 1: like I've been playing, get your gear up to get
- 21:34Speaker 1: just rench you some clubs. I'll be home with adopt pepper,
- 21:40Speaker 1: fun and diet. Make sure it's diet diet all right?
- 21:44Speaker 1: Coming up next, Kanye West. He had a big weekend
- 21:47Speaker 1: to Steve uh. He was it was about days in
- 21:53Speaker 1: premiere of Saturday Night Live. We'll talk about it right
- 21:56Speaker 1: after this you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 22:01Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. In the weekend
- 22:03Speaker 1: box office report, we mentioned it earlier, Kevin Hart and
- 22:07Speaker 1: Tiffany had ash they had the number one movie in
- 22:10Speaker 1: America over the weekend. But first, speaking of big weekends,
- 22:14Speaker 1: did you see the premiere the season premiere of Saturday
- 22:16Speaker 1: Night Live. Yes, Matt Damon as Brett Kavanaugh did just man. Yes,
- 22:24Speaker 1: that was hilarious. Steve Damon came out to the hollywod
- 22:32Speaker 1: you know when he came out. I didn't know who
- 22:33Speaker 1: that was at first because he looks I thought it
- 22:38Speaker 1: was the own the other game, but I thought it
- 22:40Speaker 1: was somebody else. That was Matt Damon A damn good.
- 22:45Speaker 1: He was as good of Brett Kavanaugh as um uh,
- 22:52Speaker 1: come on that plays Donald Trump, Alex Baldwin, Alex Baldwin
- 22:58Speaker 1: that plays Donald Trump, and Melissa McCarthy who played He
- 23:03Speaker 1: was just as good Steve. He got a little sound. Yeah,
- 23:09Speaker 1: oh do we Okay, let's hear it. Let's hear and
- 23:11Speaker 1: then we'll get to Kanye Judge Kavanaugh. Are you ready
- 23:15Speaker 1: to begin? Yeah, let me tell you this. I'm gonna
- 23:21Speaker 1: start at eleven. I'm gonna take it to about a
- 23:25Speaker 1: fifteen rift. First of all, I showed this speech to
- 23:31Speaker 1: almost no one, not my family, not my friends, not
- 23:37Speaker 1: even p J or Tobin or Squeet. This is my speech.
- 23:43Speaker 1: There are others like it, but this is mine. I
- 23:45Speaker 1: wrote it myself last night while screaming into an empty
- 23:48Speaker 1: bag of Dorrito's I'm a good great job man. Dam
- 23:57Speaker 1: yeah man man. Alright, lady from South Carolina? Who did she?
- 24:03Speaker 1: At the end, she played umf oh Linda Graham? Yeah, okay,
- 24:12Speaker 1: So back to Conway, uh man, Okay. He performed as
- 24:17Speaker 1: a giant Perry a bottle. Okay, yeah, that's a giant. Yeah,
- 24:24Speaker 1: giant Perry a bottle. Uh. And then our girl from Chicago,
- 24:29Speaker 1: Adele Gibbons started a performance on a video screen but anyway, okay.
- 24:33Speaker 1: At the end of the show, after Kanye's final performance,
- 24:36Speaker 1: he did a political rant Steve about President Trump. You
- 24:39Speaker 1: know he's a team Trump all the way, but that
- 24:43Speaker 1: part was not televised. Kanye claimed that staff bullied him
- 24:47Speaker 1: about wearing his Make America Great Again cap, his red
- 24:51Speaker 1: cap that he wears, and then he criticized mainstream media. Meanwhile,
- 24:56Speaker 1: Chris Rock caught the moment on his phone and posted
- 24:59Speaker 1: it on Insta Ram. Take a list of the Kanye
- 25:01Speaker 1: Tryina Tralla. You see it ain't laughing at me. You
- 25:07Speaker 1: heard him. They scream at me, They bullieve me, They
- 25:10Speaker 1: bullet me backstage. They said, don't go out there with
- 25:12Speaker 1: that hat on. They bullet me backstage, They bullieve me,
- 25:19Speaker 1: and then they say, I'm in a sucking place. You
- 25:22Speaker 1: want to see the sucking place. Okay, I'm gonna listen
- 25:25Speaker 1: to y'all. Now I'm gonna put my Superman cape ball
- 25:29Speaker 1: because this means you can't tell me what to do.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Follow your heart and stop following your mind. That's how
- 25:38Speaker 1: we're controlled, That's how we're programmed. If you want the
- 25:42Speaker 1: world to move forward, try love. Thank y'all for giving
- 25:47Speaker 1: me this platform. I know some of y'all don't agree,
- 25:50Speaker 1: but y'all be going at that man and them to mine,
- 25:52Speaker 1: and I don't think it's actually that helpful. I think
- 25:56Speaker 1: the universe has balanced news, our liberal wow, not even
- 26:05Speaker 1: present a TV l A New York writers, rappers, musicians,
- 26:11Speaker 1: So it's easy to make it seem like it's so
- 26:14Speaker 1: so so one side. And uh, I am kind for you.
- 26:25Speaker 1: That's all this country said, I couldn't be mean. Yeah, yeah,
- 26:31Speaker 1: I love me too. All right, it ain't the same, dope.
- 26:41Speaker 1: It got to be hell at the house when they
- 26:42Speaker 1: run out of something like call of paper, peanut butter, anything,
- 26:46Speaker 1: because you don't get one of them speeches from Kanya
- 26:49Speaker 1: about making America great. What I don't I don't um see,
- 26:55Speaker 1: here's see Okay, he don't want to be Kanye no more?
- 27:00Speaker 1: What is he now? He? Okay? Well whatever, Okay, listen, see,
- 27:09Speaker 1: you can't make a statement. You can't say that has
- 27:13Speaker 1: to be a balance, y'all going at that man's that
- 27:16Speaker 1: kind of hard and I really don't think it's helpful.
- 27:19Speaker 1: But he doesn't represent a balance. He has a very
- 27:24Speaker 1: very one sided or Trump doesn't represent a balance in
- 27:29Speaker 1: the White House. Did you did you see him the
- 27:33Speaker 1: other night at that rally in West Virginia and he
- 27:37Speaker 1: was doing that comedic invitation of uh Diane Feinstein. This
- 27:47Speaker 1: was doing a routine on how this woman responded to
- 27:51Speaker 1: did you leak the tape? The uh? Statement from Diane?
- 27:57Speaker 1: Four Christine for it, Dr Christine. He imitated this woman
- 28:06Speaker 1: and the way she did it. He was doing a set.
- 28:11Speaker 1: He goes to these rallies man to be humorous and funny,
- 28:15Speaker 1: and he he can get away with everything and him
- 28:17Speaker 1: and he's ignorant. People just be clapping for every bs
- 28:21Speaker 1: statement that he makes. So if you're gonna ask everybody
- 28:25Speaker 1: else to have a balance, it's hard to balance for
- 28:28Speaker 1: a person that's in the White House is so tilted
- 28:31Speaker 1: towards hatred. He does not represent a piece of unity
- 28:36Speaker 1: in any area. He out there to trade commissions, talking
- 28:40Speaker 1: all crazy, what America ain't gonna do America. First, he's
- 28:44Speaker 1: unplugging all of these treaties that's been done to create balance,
- 28:50Speaker 1: children from their parents, to create balance. What is that
- 28:56Speaker 1: you want a wall to create balance? You don't want
- 29:01Speaker 1: to give these doccer kids a passageway that would be balanced.
- 29:06Speaker 1: If you would do something that was heartfelt for regular folks,
- 29:11Speaker 1: we might let you get away with some of this
- 29:14Speaker 1: ignorant mess you doing. But your problem is the ignorant
- 29:18Speaker 1: mess ain't balanced with nothing. Now. His whole thing is
- 29:22Speaker 1: he's running his deal about how committed, how these country's
- 29:27Speaker 1: in the best shape has ever been jobs, African American jobs.
- 29:32Speaker 1: All this help, hey, bro, bro, when look can't help
- 29:37Speaker 1: y'all understand unemployment when your unemployment run out, there's no
- 29:42Speaker 1: record that you being unemployed. So when you see the
- 29:45Speaker 1: low unemployment numbers, a lot of times people benefits justin
- 29:49Speaker 1: ran out. We don't know where that. It's a it's
- 29:54Speaker 1: a lot of that. It's just he has no balance.
- 29:57Speaker 1: And then when Yeezy comes out and he says like
- 30:00Speaker 1: that on behalf of him, when clearly he could speak
- 30:04Speaker 1: up for himself, but he won't. Every time he speaks up,
- 30:08Speaker 1: it's against somebody. He was against this woman. He tried
- 30:12Speaker 1: to act like he wasn't bedn he turned on her.
- 30:15Speaker 1: All right, we gotta go. Coming up. In entertainment news,
- 30:18Speaker 1: Kevin Hart is winning weekend box office report coming up,
- 30:22Speaker 1: and a Circle of Sisters took over New York City.
- 30:25Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 30:28Speaker 1: the Steve Show. All right, guys, here we go. Congratulations
- 30:34Speaker 1: going out to Kevin Hart and Tiffany Hattrish and everyone
- 30:37Speaker 1: involved in Night School. Night School is the number one
- 30:41Speaker 1: movie in America. Man, it is good to be Kevin
- 30:44Speaker 1: Hart right now. It is good to be Kevin Hart
- 30:47Speaker 1: right now. Night School brought in about twenty eight million
- 30:50Speaker 1: dollars and um it was produced by Will Packer. You
- 30:53Speaker 1: just mentioned his name, Junior and directed by Malcolm d Lee. Uh, Steve,
- 30:57Speaker 1: speaking of Kevin Hart, we want to remind you, Yeah,
- 31:02Speaker 1: you weren't here when it was Kevin Hurt's take over
- 31:05Speaker 1: last week. So, um, listen to this when I asked
- 31:08Speaker 1: him about your beard. How you're feeling the beard, Kevin.
- 31:12Speaker 1: People make choices, People had choices, you know, people make joyes.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Some I'm gonna be good in bad. You know, it's not.
- 31:23Speaker 1: It's not about what we like. It is about what
- 31:24Speaker 1: we sept. So you see somebody holding onto it, you
- 31:28Speaker 1: just don't. We're doing this because it's gonna be. I've
- 31:33Speaker 1: had those moments. Uh, they only suggestion now with me,
- 31:37Speaker 1: a little bit of die. It's a little bit let's
- 31:42Speaker 1: let's get rid of Let's get rid of that. Ask him,
- 31:44Speaker 1: Oh look, let's go stop making it look like you
- 31:47Speaker 1: don't know what daytime looks like. No more. A little
- 31:50Speaker 1: bit of dying there. I don't hear you laughing, Steve.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I mean it's cool an retal sleeper care gonna be.
- 32:00Speaker 1: The part that I was piste off about was that
- 32:03Speaker 1: little minion in the background, his hype man Tommy. Yeah,
- 32:10Speaker 1: that little me. Yeah, yeah, what are you gonna do it?
- 32:13Speaker 1: Some die, some die? You need some hype? Where is
- 32:17Speaker 1: he speaking of? Yeah, you're going in and shot shot.
- 32:24Speaker 1: People can't come to work a lot. There's two many steps,
- 32:28Speaker 1: Kevin show. Kevin got a different mindset, see Kevin. Kevin
- 32:35Speaker 1: walked around like here lying yes so that before he
- 32:40Speaker 1: is Tommy. Ain't that he always jumping on some bandwagon.
- 32:46Speaker 1: You know. Now if he wants me to die my beard,
- 32:48Speaker 1: he can say that. But I'm not gonna do it though.
- 32:51Speaker 1: I'm so fly like this, just so, I seriously, come on, look,
- 33:01Speaker 1: I look in the mirror. I'm okay with me. That's
- 33:03Speaker 1: why I am. Everybody ain't got to like d decisions.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I don't like how talld Tommy is. There not nothing
- 33:09Speaker 1: to do about it, shout. I don't like. I don't
- 33:14Speaker 1: like Kevin hars height. I'm glad I'm six to. I
- 33:17Speaker 1: don't give a damn if I'm ain't in your mungi BUNGI.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I don't give a damn if I ain't ever been
- 33:23Speaker 1: a nice school or none of that. I think the Lord.
- 33:27Speaker 1: I'm six to. All the little last suits walking around
- 33:30Speaker 1: looking like a little action figure. I think he said
- 33:36Speaker 1: it would love. Of course, I take it back like
- 33:40Speaker 1: I said, it was that damn Tommy in the back.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Some people make some decisions, some people don't. How long
- 33:48Speaker 1: are you gonna do it? Oh little man? All right,
- 33:52Speaker 1: another entertainment news Steve. We have to say congratulations also
- 33:56Speaker 1: to our home at station in New York City one
- 33:58Speaker 1: or seven, five w BLS. The Circle of Sisters was
- 34:02Speaker 1: a huge success this past weekend. It was star studded.
- 34:05Speaker 1: It featured in Vogue, Vivian Green, David and townil a Man,
- 34:09Speaker 1: Brandy Ken, your More, Bobby Brown, Wendy Williams, and a
- 34:13Speaker 1: Tory not in Tasha of course she plays Tasha from Power.
- 34:16Speaker 1: And there was a great panel discussion, gospel showcase and
- 34:20Speaker 1: uh and more deja vu of course from the station

- 34:39Speaker 1: very much, guys, Good morning everybody. This is Andreed with
- 34:41Speaker 1: the news. And yes, we did have a wonderful Circle
- 34:44Speaker 1: Sisters weekend. If you're in New York around the time
- 34:46Speaker 1: that we have Circle sisters, please stop by. You're gonna
- 34:48Speaker 1: have a good time, Okay. The FBI is expected to
- 34:51Speaker 1: continue with supplemental background check in a Supreme Court nominee
- 34:54Speaker 1: Brett Kavanaugh this week, and investigation finally ordered by President
- 34:58Speaker 1: Trump after Senate leaders press him on the Brett Kavanaugh situation.
- 35:02Speaker 1: But White House spokes women Sarah Sanders tells Fox News
- 35:04Speaker 1: that that's as far as the President's involvement goes. The
- 35:07Speaker 1: White House is not micro managing this process. This is
- 35:10Speaker 1: the Senate is dictating the terms. Uh. They laid out
- 35:13Speaker 1: the request and we've opened it up. And as you
- 35:16Speaker 1: heard the President say, do what you need to do.
- 35:18Speaker 1: The FBI, this is what they do. Uh, And we're
- 35:21Speaker 1: out of the way and letting them do exactly that. However,
- 35:23Speaker 1: the President says, nevertheless that the probe must be quote
- 35:26Speaker 1: limited in spokes and scope rather and be completed in
- 35:29Speaker 1: less than a week now. The Trump administration did not
- 35:31Speaker 1: make clear just what would be covered by this additional probe.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Trump only asked for the expanded investigation after key senators,
- 35:38Speaker 1: including Republican Jeff Flake, pressed him on allowing GIFBI to
- 35:42Speaker 1: gather more info on the sexual misconduct allegations made against
- 35:45Speaker 1: Judge Kavanaugh, who states, by the way, he will cooperate.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Agents are expected to talk to a woman who says
- 35:50Speaker 1: Kavanaugh exposed himself to her when they were at at Yale. Again,
- 35:54Speaker 1: Kavanaugh has category denied any wrong doing. Meanwhile, the ranking
- 35:57Speaker 1: Democrat on the House Judiciary Committed, Gerald Neddler, says he'll
- 36:01Speaker 1: investigate Brett Kavanaugh. The Senate does not. Congressmanala was on
- 36:05Speaker 1: ABC's this week. We would have to investigate any credible allegations,
- 36:09Speaker 1: certainly of perjury and other things that haven't been properly
- 36:12Speaker 1: looked into before. If the Democrats take back control of
- 36:15Speaker 1: the House after the mid term elections, of course, now
- 36:17Speaker 1: that would be chairman of the committee. The full Senate
- 36:19Speaker 1: vote on Kavanaugh's nomination has been postponed to the FBI
- 36:23Speaker 1: ProBiS concluded. Fifty eight does are being released in Las
- 36:27Speaker 1: Vegas later today, marking the one year anniversary of the
- 36:30Speaker 1: massacre at a country music concert there. Janet Jackson attended
- 36:34Speaker 1: the Global Citizen Festival here in New York City over
- 36:36Speaker 1: the weekend, urging the estimated sixty thousand people in attendance
- 36:39Speaker 1: to pay attention to the current political situation and vote.
- 36:43Speaker 1: On this past weekend Saturday Night Live Show, actor mc
- 36:46Speaker 1: damon portrayed Brett Kavanaugh as a close to erupting, twisted faced,
- 36:50Speaker 1: angry court nominee drinking water all the time, and Kanye
- 36:53Speaker 1: West end of the show, dress as a bottle of
- 36:55Speaker 1: Seltzer water, wearing a make of the America Great Again
- 36:58Speaker 1: hat and delivering a musical number of sorts. Comedian actor
- 37:02Speaker 1: Jim Carry meanwhile has drawing a cartoon depicting South Carolina
- 37:05Speaker 1: Republican Lindsey Graham looking at squinty eyed and big tooth
- 37:08Speaker 1: as he railed against the Democrats, was supposedly attacking Kavanaugh
- 37:11Speaker 1: just to quote grab power tops to the box office
- 37:14Speaker 1: this weekend. Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddage's film Night School.
- 37:17Speaker 1: All right, let's do some introductions. My name is Carrie.
- 37:19Speaker 1: I'm here to make a little extra cash so that
- 37:22Speaker 1: I can afford this warrant that I got. But that's
- 37:24Speaker 1: not business. Welcome to Night School. In Night School pulled
- 37:27Speaker 1: and twenty eight million dollars. Steve Harvey Nation find Out
- 37:30Speaker 1: of Uncle Steve Smart and his nephew will be back
- 37:32Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour and a Steve Harvey Morny Show.
- 37:35Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Show. Here's some news from
- 37:39Speaker 1: our home station in Las Vegas. Steve Old School one
- 37:43Speaker 1: oh five point seven, Las Vegas Strong, while Steve the
- 37:47Speaker 1: Marquees along the iconic Las Vegas Strip will go dark
- 37:50Speaker 1: tonight at ten o one pm. Uh. They will mark
- 37:53Speaker 1: the first anniversary of a gunman's rampage that killed fifty
- 37:57Speaker 1: eight people. Yeah, fifty eight people at Route nine Harvest
- 38:02Speaker 1: Country Music Festival at ten o five pm. A somber
- 38:05Speaker 1: reading of the names of victims will take place at
- 38:07Speaker 1: the Community Healing Garden Memorial site downtown. And today Governor
- 38:13Speaker 1: Governor Brian Sandoval ordered flags across the state to fly
- 38:16Speaker 1: at half staff. The strength of the Vegas community is
- 38:19Speaker 1: now stronger than ever. It seems longer to me. But
- 38:24Speaker 1: to think it was just a year ago when that
- 38:26Speaker 1: violent rampage, Yeah, so sad. I mean, yeah, it was
- 38:31Speaker 1: just awful. I mean, you know, such a tragedy, you know,
- 38:35Speaker 1: the sad thing. It's just some evil people in this world, man,
- 38:39Speaker 1: and we're making it more and more um popular to
- 38:45Speaker 1: be evil. I really believe that. I believe that we
- 38:49Speaker 1: have a lot of copycat stuff because you've got some sick,
- 38:52Speaker 1: demented person that thinks they're gonna get all this air time.
- 38:56Speaker 1: And we have popularized social media is so much people
- 39:01Speaker 1: actually think they're new. People get their news from social media,
- 39:05Speaker 1: and people are doing stuff to get likes and attract eyeballs,
- 39:09Speaker 1: and they'll do anything. They've thrown morality out the window.
- 39:14Speaker 1: News is hard to watch because I think what hurt
- 39:18Speaker 1: news to me, my my opinion is what hurt news credibility.
- 39:23Speaker 1: What's when all news stations got a blog where you
- 39:26Speaker 1: could blog, and then you could see the bad information
- 39:31Speaker 1: being dispersed on CNN, on Fox, on Headline News, on MSNBC,
- 39:38Speaker 1: on CBS, on a b you can see it, and
- 39:42Speaker 1: they they've given it a platform because they want the
- 39:45Speaker 1: eyeballs on their website, so they allow people to blog in.
- 39:49Speaker 1: You then invite uh, the small minded person in on
- 39:54Speaker 1: major credible platforms all of a sudden. I think that's
- 39:58Speaker 1: a huge mistake. I actually wish that news people would
- 40:02Speaker 1: get rid of blogs and just report factual news mm hmm.
- 40:08Speaker 1: And people want fame so much, famous such a drug
- 40:11Speaker 1: to be famous, like you say, you know, they want
- 40:14Speaker 1: their name out there. They want to be talked about.
- 40:17Speaker 1: They want that attention, and that's what they think until
- 40:21Speaker 1: they get talked about. Yeah. Yeah, it gets even more
- 40:24Speaker 1: crazy when they line about you and there's nothing you
- 40:28Speaker 1: can do about it. Try that one on for a
- 40:31Speaker 1: little while. Yeah, yeah, that's the part, and then you
- 40:36Speaker 1: can do nothing about it. All right, Coming up next
- 40:40Speaker 1: to thirty four after the hour? Where is where is
- 40:43Speaker 1: your nephew? Steve? We got to get to the bottom
- 40:45Speaker 1: of this. We really well, well we'll find out. Oh,
- 40:50Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to Hey, Steve, you have
- 40:57Speaker 1: a phone call. I think you want to take this one? Well,
- 41:00Speaker 1: what you mean just say hello? Please? Hello? Hey? What's
- 41:05Speaker 1: going on? Hey? Look look it's family, Sully. Are you
- 41:15Speaker 1: for real? Yes? Along that fake man? Yeah? And I
- 41:26Speaker 1: go go ahead. I think I got myself sick, man,
- 41:31Speaker 1: I could wait. Wait, you accidentally took some what free Nato? Madaine?
- 41:41Speaker 1: I thought I was taking asking, but it was knowledge
- 41:45Speaker 1: is free Nato? What is he talking, Sully? Is that
- 41:51Speaker 1: like pregnancy? Yeah? Women, I take that? Yeah, Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, really, dog,
- 41:57Speaker 1: that's what you're gonna go? I my stomach hurry and
- 42:01Speaker 1: I'm not She didn't go back and forth with you,
- 42:03Speaker 1: all right, he do, dog, You're not fisting. You're not
- 42:08Speaker 1: fist to go back and forth with you. I don't
- 42:13Speaker 1: get it. I don't, man. You know what I want
- 42:17Speaker 1: to tell you. I had a dream that you was
- 42:21Speaker 1: opening up for me and uh, we was doing a
- 42:27Speaker 1: big arena. Man, you was opening up for me, and
- 42:30Speaker 1: you did. I mean, you did, all right, But then
- 42:35Speaker 1: I came back. I came out and clean it all
- 42:37Speaker 1: up man, and killed it. Man. So I you know
- 42:44Speaker 1: what you know? Honestly, dog, I'm just thinking me and
- 42:47Speaker 1: you are to go back on the road together, but
- 42:49Speaker 1: we gotta switch it though. You gotta you gotta go first.
- 42:52Speaker 1: I mean, I gotta, I gotta keep my ass. Yeah.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Do you do you have any idea how bad a
- 42:58Speaker 1: dream that was? I don't have. No, no, no, no, no,
- 43:06Speaker 1: no no. I'm just gonna go with this one right here.
- 43:09Speaker 1: You you really think, since you didn't had a dream,
- 43:12Speaker 1: that me and you are to go back out on
- 43:14Speaker 1: the road and you want me to come out for
- 43:17Speaker 1: you coming opening? But what what? What? What's the what's
- 43:22Speaker 1: the problem with you opening up? Screen? What? What? What
- 43:26Speaker 1: you when I walk off? What? You? No? That's right?
- 43:31Speaker 1: Come on, timmy, when you walk out what you think
- 43:38Speaker 1: right there? I'm just asking when I get through with this,
- 43:43Speaker 1: I'm over. Let let men, how much you want me
- 43:45Speaker 1: to do? I don't. I don't really care what you're doing. Okay,
- 43:53Speaker 1: but you do know that I'm gonna make the same
- 43:56Speaker 1: money I've been making. No, no, wait a minute, okay,
- 44:04Speaker 1: first of all, but let me get up. First of all,
- 44:10Speaker 1: you're not easy. Let me get in. Let's why why
- 44:15Speaker 1: am I giving you the same? Why are you making
- 44:17Speaker 1: the same amount of money if you're not the headliner? Yeah? See,
- 44:21Speaker 1: because listen to this right here. See you dreamed you
- 44:25Speaker 1: as the headlund See, I really am see in real life.
- 44:32Speaker 1: And so what happens is I'm gonna get the same
- 44:37Speaker 1: money I used to get, and then you're gonna get
- 44:42Speaker 1: what you used to get in the dream. He trying
- 44:45Speaker 1: to take it back, trying to take it that you understand,
- 44:50Speaker 1: But why why why? Why? Wait? Man? Why why am
- 44:53Speaker 1: I headlining if I'm not gonna get better money? Because

- 53:29Speaker 1: you can get in your wheelchair and make it down
- 53:31Speaker 1: here to the nursery to whom and come the hell
- 53:34Speaker 1: owned listen when you were taking a message from it
- 53:37Speaker 1: and give it to somebody? What's your what's your message?
- 53:42Speaker 1: And n e and uh huh whatever? Uh huh huh what? Okay,
- 53:55Speaker 1: you got that part? Yeah? I got that far? Okay,
- 54:02Speaker 1: damn what what is that? What do I spell? I

- 55:26Speaker 1: him Steve, you better submit it half a good one. Now, Hey,
- 55:33Speaker 1: let's get into it. Is that time stopping the Strawberry Letter? Well,
- 55:36Speaker 1: my friends, shut thank you my friends. Junior. Subject, there
- 55:40Speaker 1: are three of us in this relationship. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 55:44Speaker 1: I've been with my now fiance for three years and
- 55:47Speaker 1: I cannot wrap my head around. What I can't wrap
- 55:50Speaker 1: my head around is his closeness with his older sister.
- 55:53Speaker 1: When we first started dating, my fiance sister called and
- 55:57Speaker 1: texted him excessively. They would stay on the phone forever,
- 56:01Speaker 1: and she would pop up at his house whenever she
- 56:04Speaker 1: wanted to. He told me that she just had to
- 56:07Speaker 1: get used to the fact that he was no longer single,
- 56:10Speaker 1: and uh, you know, because they had always spent a
- 56:14Speaker 1: lot of time together. His sister used to come over
- 56:17Speaker 1: to his house on Saturday mornings to do her laundry,
- 56:20Speaker 1: and then she would stay and hang out with us
- 56:21Speaker 1: for the rest of the day. She often included herself
- 56:24Speaker 1: on our date too. She recently bought a condo and
- 56:28Speaker 1: she customized the guest room for my fiance with the
- 56:32Speaker 1: colors of his favorite NFL team, just in case he
- 56:35Speaker 1: ever wanted to spend the night at her place. His
- 56:38Speaker 1: sister is a cute girl, and she's successful, but she
- 56:41Speaker 1: is single, and she's not making any effort. She's not
- 56:44Speaker 1: making an effort to meet or date anyone. I'm concerned that, uh,
- 56:48Speaker 1: she is still too dependent on my fiance for advice
- 56:51Speaker 1: and event about what's going on in her life. I'm
- 56:54Speaker 1: wondering how she expects her relationship to change with my
- 56:57Speaker 1: fiance once we are married. Um, we will build our
- 57:01Speaker 1: own lives and we want her to feel like she's
- 57:04Speaker 1: a part of that. But we must set some boundaries.
- 57:07Speaker 1: My fiance is very family oriented, but I'm an only child,
- 57:11Speaker 1: so it's different for me. He doesn't want her to
- 57:13Speaker 1: feel like he's pushing her away, So how should he
- 57:16Speaker 1: do it? Please advise? I think everything in your letter
- 57:19Speaker 1: that you've written to us is spot on. I understand
- 57:23Speaker 1: how you feel, and I will have to tell you
- 57:26Speaker 1: this though. It's going to be a problem in your
- 57:28Speaker 1: marriage if your husband doesn't check her, and he needs
- 57:30Speaker 1: to check her like immediately. And and why do I
- 57:33Speaker 1: think it's going to be a problem in your marriage? Uh, well,
- 57:36Speaker 1: I'll tell you because it's a problem right now in
- 57:38Speaker 1: your engagement. Um, sin is just way too much in
- 57:42Speaker 1: the business. I mean way too much. I mean her
- 57:45Speaker 1: popping up at the house whenever she wants to, um,
- 57:49Speaker 1: you know, coming over to the house on Saturday mornings
- 57:51Speaker 1: to do her laundry and hanging out with you guys
- 57:54Speaker 1: all day. Uh you know, her brother has had your
- 57:59Speaker 1: fiance is at ample time to ease her into the change.
- 58:03Speaker 1: And uh you of course being that change. I mean,
- 58:06Speaker 1: you guys have been together three years, you've been engaged
- 58:09Speaker 1: for three years. He's got to introduce her to some
- 58:12Speaker 1: of his friends where her girlfriends. I mean, how where's
- 58:16Speaker 1: her the mom and dad, the family? Where other people
- 58:20Speaker 1: in her life? Where are they? Um? You know, you
- 58:23Speaker 1: guys got to start bringing another guy along to meet her.
- 58:27Speaker 1: You know when you guys go out and stuff. I mean,
- 58:29Speaker 1: you gotta be creative so she can meet him and
- 58:32Speaker 1: hang out with him and leave you guys along. You know,
- 58:36Speaker 1: he's got to have this talk with her, you know
- 58:38Speaker 1: about threes a crowd and all that, you guys needing
- 58:41Speaker 1: your space, and he's got to get her to understand
- 58:43Speaker 1: that things are changing. His life is changing. He's going
- 58:47Speaker 1: to marry you, and you guys will be together, and
- 58:49Speaker 1: that means she's got to back up and not just
- 58:51Speaker 1: pop up. Respect you guys, is is you guys, is
- 58:55Speaker 1: privacy and all of that. You're getting ready to start
- 58:58Speaker 1: a family. She needs to understand in that. And the
- 59:00Speaker 1: sooner you do it, the better. Steve, what, I don't
- 59:06Speaker 1: have that kind of answer. I'm just gonna be real
- 59:09Speaker 1: with you. I'm sure I appreciate you saying all that,
- 59:12Speaker 1: and what you said, you know makes sense and everything,
- 59:16Speaker 1: and you know it sounds real clinical and that thing
- 59:19Speaker 1: you know, and you know, and you know, maybe this
- 59:21Speaker 1: can do something. Ain't this ain't what this is? Okay?
- 59:27Speaker 1: He close to his older sister. She thinks she his mama.
- 59:35Speaker 1: This ain't just know it ain't a girlfriend. She thinks
- 59:38Speaker 1: she his mama. She had got a new apartment and
- 59:44Speaker 1: put a room together for his little punk hands in
- 59:47Speaker 1: his favorite football team colors. What what you can't now?
- 59:55Speaker 1: You got a little twin bed with a brown helmet
- 59:58Speaker 1: on it. Where you got a little razing card pillows,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: And I know how much you like to play video games.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I got one plugged up. Something wrong here, something is
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: seriously wrong here? And then uh uh. He told her
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: that she just gotta get used that that his sister
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: gotta get used to him not being single anymore. She
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: know that. You're said she's smart, you said she's attractive.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: She no, he ain't single no more. But what you
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: got to do with it? Now? Here go your problem?
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: She is, she's single, she's an only child. She's not
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: from a big family. She has no idea or any
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: experience with being close to a sibling of any kind
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: older younger twin. She ain't had that, So she don't
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: understand how in the world our sister can be that
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: close to her brother. Now it ain't not not well
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: careful either, but just the way it is. And and
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Sherley is absolutely correct about the marriage piece. If this
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: don't get fixed, befoto marriage, what the path? The pastor
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: told me one time, he said, the day after marriage,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: the only thing that changes the day after you married
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: is the appearance of the left hand third finger. Nothing
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: else changes, nothing else changes. What who's gonna happen? He
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: gonna suddenly? What now it's gonna be more it is?
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: What do you want her to do when we get married?
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: When you you get married, she's still coming over there.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Now you want to set some parameters. But he don't
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: know how. He just said he don't want her to
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: feel like she being pushed away? So now what we're
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: gonna do? So when we come back, there will be
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: a reenactment, count on it. I live for those re enactments.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna be this time. I'm gonna be to dude,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: trying to explain to you my wife, why my sister
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: gonna keep coming over here right after this? You don't
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: want to? Yeah? What is that's no surprise? Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: And Jay, you play an awesome woman. I wanted to
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: be the sister me. But that's what we can do.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: That that's cool. No, no, no, I like that too.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Let's go with that. Look, we'll have part two of
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Steve's response and a reenactment coming up. Yeah, at after
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: the hour. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: let's recap today's letter. There are three of us in
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: this relationship. Oh, this lady merode in because she mad
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: because her hud fiance saying real close with his older sister.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: She didn't got a new house and then put a
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: room in it for him and painted his favorite football
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: team on it like he nine. She worried that when
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: she getting married nothing to change it ain't and then, uh,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: she don't understand because she's from single parent. She is
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: she's been the only child, so she don't understand dynamics
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: and family. She don't understand how anybody could be that close.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: So she has no sibling. So we decided to do
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: is re enactment. I'm the guy, and Jay, who you
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: gonna be this time? His sister? You're gonna be his sister,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: trying to explain who I guess why we're gonna stay together.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: All right, let's go Hey, hey, Connor, how are you doing?
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: How you doing today? Hey, I'm glad you came over you. No, No,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I'm shore glad. I'm so glad you let me over.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: I got everything you know. I got brown all dressed
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: is dressed up like the browns, and everything is that
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: you like by the boddamn cooking by the bed. Yeah,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: all that because I know that's what you like. So
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: I got all that for you, with everything you like.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I got chocolate mill you got did you get blogning?
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I got Belogne slice like you like? Boom boom boom.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: I got the Jesus you like that everything. Hold on,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: hold on SpLD hold on SIPs, hold on sip baby.

- 1:05:20Speaker 1: I ain't never met nobody that don't like Belogne, godly
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: that ain't even Christian like, Yeah, that's simps. You think
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: she's satanic though, I think just by hearing that, just
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: by hearing that, yeah, man, you know what's devil to me?
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to look into that. That does that
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: get out? Because what is devil worshippers? They don't yeh.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: The Belogney argument, man, I ain't even even I hadn't

- 1:06:15Speaker 1: she the devil. I told y'all gonna look it up
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: on the internet. And it ain't no signs that she
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: the devil. She really is a sweet person. But you know,
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: you know, let's let's google and give it a chance,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: you know. And then but I'll tell you what google.

- 1:06:56Speaker 1: And they got the pantry stop with anything you like.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Why isn't she Why isn't she in a relationship? She's
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: who's the other voice? And I thought it was just
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: you and me. I don't know, you know what? She
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: got another sister too. I'll be bad. We're an only.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: She's an only. Yeah, that's what that ain't no sister,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I don't know who they do I think that's a ghost?
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: You know what? You know what? That is spooky? That
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: is damned spook? Why he whispers, amazing it out? Didn't you?
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to break up with her. Yes, it's
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: just a reunion that is not gonna work. And I've
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: got which I'll get you back. I'm glad. My head
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: is to thank you sis anytime I'm here, key man.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Look at this room right here, appreciated brownish one made
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: it where orange profs. Only a sister would do that
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: for you? Did your wife making any brownies? Will? Well?
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: She allergic to nuts? Good answer in scene again, she's
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: a cute girl, unsuccessful. Why is she still single? Man devil?
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: But you don't see he's still being carried out. Let
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: that go out. She's allergic. She needs some friends about
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: she does? Yeah? Does it ain't gonna work if he
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: married her? No, she's not going away unless you really
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: set some boundaries. Yes, seriously, they have to. She she's
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: got to get out of their relationship. She has and
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: somebody else has to get out of character right now.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Not the wow too close? Wait? Yes, and you know
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: what else she needs? She needs the laundry room. She
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: needs to wash her and dryer. That's what she needs,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: all right. Listen, guys, we gotta go email us or
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: instagram us your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Harvey FM or at My Girl Surely now coming up
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: in ten minutes Kanye on Saturday Night Live, and we'll
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: be back right after this with more of the Steve
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour. Pempin will
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: be in the building. See how he's feeling today. Yeah. Uh,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: they're gonna recap yesterday's NFL games, But first, Steve, everybody's
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: trying to figure out what's going on with Kanye with
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: his Saturday Night Live season premiere. UM after his after
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: show performance, it was a political rant about his friend
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: who he supports, Donald Trump, the President. Kanye performed on
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: the season premiere of Saturday Night Live as a giant
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Perier bottle. Uh. Then after the yeah, I don't know,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I don't know what the significance of that one can yes,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: you know, when yeah, whatever he name is, when he
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: came to do a celebrity family feud, m H, we
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: talked about both of us going up to see Donald Trump,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: and I think what happened was he took it as
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: a chance or for healing. I really do think he
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: thought that he was going up there for a chance
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: at healing. I thought I was going up there to possibly,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: since you know, Ben Carson was the head of Hood,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: maybe I could do something for you know, the underprivileged
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: people and get some better housing, turn some of these
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: schools and blow blows A long story short, it did.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: It did not work out that way. So I came
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: back and got the realization that he is who he is. Yeah,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: and I've seen him do nothing, you know, to to
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: try to He just doesn't. He's not doing anything to
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: bring the country together. Now. What Kanye is having a
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: tough time doing is trying to get us to be
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: kinder to him when he's kinder to no one. This
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: is the most non presidential man we've ever had. What
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: is it to support? I'm telling you, man, When he
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: was doing this imitation to Diane Feinstein down in New Orleans,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: I mean down in West Virginia this weekend, man, I
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: watched I watched it. Man. It was ugly. Man. Let
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: me ask your questions if if Kanye is defending Trump,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: who is not kind? Does Kanye come off as not
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: kind himself? Well, he comes he's coming across as not
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: connected to the masters kind. You know, he's just coming
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: along as not Are you not paying attention to what
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: he's doing? That's are you saying Kanye is out of touch? No,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: he's not out of touch. His messages love and the
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: messages love. But you're asking us to love a person
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: who exhibits love towards no one, and we just ain't
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: that good at Christians, man, I'm sorry, you know, man,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: it's hard to show Christian love. Okay, Look, here's a deal.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Kanye is asking us to love a man who's not
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: exhibiting love at all, and as the leader of the
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: most powerful nation in the world, he does nothing to
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: unify people. All he does is make statements to separate people.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: So people who have a separatism, a separatist type of agenda, skinheads,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: clan quite supremacist hate groups, they can say, okay, then
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: we feel like it's okay now to have his separatist viewpoint,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: because look, it's what the man who's holding office in
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: the highest nation, he's absolutely fine with it. This country
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: is so divided, right, now Steve, and he hasn't played
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: a major role in its division. Yes, in this division.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: And he said when before he ran, he said, if
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: he ever ran for office, he'd run as a Republicans
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: because they're so gullible. And he knew what he was doing.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: And he plays to the base. He goes to these
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: rallies and he tells jokes. He'd be doing sets. Yeah,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: he has such a need to be liked. Yeah, what
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: listen to me. He was in West Virginia. Why are
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: you still saying, you know, I won this election fair
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: and square. Okay, here's here's what he did the other day.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: You remember when he made the statement in front of
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: the U N and he was and he was made
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: statement that this disadministration has done more than the Intermention
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: in the history of our country, and all the people
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: started laughing. He came back and said she and then
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: tried to say they were laughing at me. They weren't
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: laughing at me. They were laughing with me. We were
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: having a good time. It was terrific. We were having
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: a good time. So that's why you said, you weren't
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: expecting that response when they laughed, because he didn't tell
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: it as a joke, right right, he was very serious.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: He was serious until they laughed. We know difference with
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: bro bro professional. Listen to me, that wasn't a set
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: up to that joke. The fact he said it was
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: the joke. Oh, I've been in the laugh being of
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: a long time and I know difference being with and
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: act and you know right away. Yeah. So as far
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: as Kanye is concerned, I think it's tweet too surely
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: about the abolishing the Amendment. Yeah, that's the one that's
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: about the thirteen Amendment abolishes slavery. Right, that's the one
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: we're talking about, right, Yeah, Kanye tweeted that yesterday that
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: they should get rid of the Amendment or something. Yeah.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: What I'm not coming back into plantation. What we need
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: to amend is we need to amend uh uh, the
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Second Amendment, the right to bear on We need to
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: amend that. I'm not saying people can't have guns, but
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: we gotta make some law changes. We need to change uh,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: this freedom of speech because people now have taken it
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: to the point where they're just lashing out to hurt
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: people and it's costing people. It's very evil. All right. Um,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we're gonna
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: switch gears. Stop talking so much politics for a minute
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: and bring Pimping in so he can recat week four
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: of the NFL. Okay, right after this, you're listening to
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: the Steve Hardy Morning Show. Al Right, guys, get ready pimping,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: come and take the mike. Look at all the rabbit fur.

- 1:17:46Speaker 1: you better know it. Man, You don't track you track it.

- 1:28:22Speaker 1: I'm just going to go to prison. How shoes are
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: so shiny? I love them. I'm going to prison. I'm kidding.
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: Who you got him from on the social media? And
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: tell us what you think about these shoes? Okay, and
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: how much did you spend in your most expensive shoes.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: We'll be right back with more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: Harvey Show. Alright, guys, here we go. Congratulations going out
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: to Kevin Hart and Tiffany Hattish and everyone involved in
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: Night School. Night School is the number one movie in America. Man,
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: It is good to be Kevin Hart right now. It
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: is good to be Kevin Hart right now. Night School
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: brought in about twenty eight million dollars and it was
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: produced by Will Packer. You just mentioned his name. Junior
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: and directed by Malcolm d. Lee. Uh, Steve, speaking of
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: Kevin Hart, we want to remind you. Yeah, you weren't
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: here when it was Kevin Hart's takeover last week. So, um,
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: listen to this when I asked him about your beard.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: How are you feeling the beard? Kevin h People make choices.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: People made choices, you know, people made joy some I'm
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: gonna be good in bed, you know. It's it's not
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: about what we like, is about what we accept. So
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: you see somebody holding onto it. You just I've had
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: those moments. Uh, they only suggestion now with me, a
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: little bit of that man, Let's let's get rid of
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: Let's get rid of that. Ask him, look, stop making
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: it look you don't know what daytime looks like. No more.
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: A little bit of dying there. I don't hear you
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: laughing still, Oh no, No, I mean it's cool. I
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: don't little sleep with care. The part that I was
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: piste off about was that little minion in the background,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: his hype man Tommy, Yeah, a little me, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: what are you gonna do it? Some die? Some die?
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: You need some hype? Where is he speaking? Yeah? Are
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: you going in? Shout shot? People? Can't come to work
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: a lot. There's two many steps. Kevin shot. Kevin got
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: a different mindset, see Kevin. Kevin walked around like here
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: lying yes, so that for he is Tommy, ain't that
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: he always jumping on some bandwagon, you know? Now? If
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: he won't me to die my bid he can say that,
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: but I'm not gonna do it though. I'm so fly
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: like this, just so, I just seriously look, I look
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: in the mirror. I'm okay with me. That's why I am.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: Everybody ain't gotta like these decisions. I don't like how
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: tld Tommy. There's nothing to back shout. I don't like.
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: I don't like Kevin Hart's height. I'm glad I'm six to.
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: I don't give a damn if I'm ain't in your
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: mungy bungy. I don't give a damn if I ain't
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: ever been a nice school or none of that. I
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: think the Lord I'm six to, all the little last
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: suits walking around looking like a little action figure. I
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: think he said it would love. Of course, I take
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: it back like I said it was that damn Tommy
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: in the back. Some people make some decisions. Some people don't.
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: How long are you gonna do it, oh little man.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: All right, when we come back, last break of the
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: day and Steve's closing remarks, you don't want to miss him.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: We'll be back at fort nine after all right, Steve,
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: it's time for your closing remarks. Okay, today I thought
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: a good subject to talk about was about I think
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: mentors being mentored, how to attract the right mentor. Um.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: I don't care what you're thinking of doing in your life.
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: I don't care what decisions you've make. Somebody has already
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: done it, attempted it, gone down that role, made the attempt.
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: Maybe not your idea specifically, but the route to get
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: there has already been traveled for the most part. Uh.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: If you want to be successful, that are successful people.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: If you want to be a star athlete, there's a star.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I'm saying to you that
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: whatever it is you're trying to accomplish, somebody has already
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: taken the path. Now, finding these people is really really
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: not that difficult. Now getting in front of them is
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: where you're gonna find the difficulty. So let me give
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: you a couple of suggestions. What is the best way
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: to approach a mentor. What is the best way to
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: approach a mentor of means and a mentor with means,
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: because that's that's two different people. You know, Martin Luther
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: King was a mentor of means. He wasn't a wealthy man,
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: but Lord have mercy man. The knowledge that he could
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: have given you about struggling and overcoming and and and
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: stick tuitiveness, those those lessons he could have taught you
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: would have been invaluable. So you have two different types
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: of mentors. You have mentors of means and mentors with means. Now,
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: if you can find the two combined, that's even more special.
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: But you're getting into more of a rare territory. Now.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: It's harder to find mentors of means and with means
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: combined because how do you get to that person? How
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: do you get to the Oprah winter fleas. When you
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: find someone in your life, or you meet someone, or
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: you hear someone, you put them on your vision board.
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: I want to meet this person one day. I would
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: love to have a conversation with this person. You have
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: to understand something. Most people with means of any kind,
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: like Bishop Jake's, he has a lot of means. Man
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: he deals well financially too, but he is also just
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: a man of wealth of knowledge. How do you get
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: to these people? Well, several ways to do it, but
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: if you can somehow find that way, because there's no
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: specific way right when you get in front of this person,
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: I want you to understand something. When you're facing them,
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: they don't mind teaching and sharing because most people of
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: means are great sharers and great teachers. A Bishop Jake's,
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: Joe Oldstein, that brother that has the app out the
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: hip hop uh preacher Eric Eric Thomas. Brothers like that too,
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: and I listened to him man a lot of times.
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: But getting in front of them, taking their course or
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: whatever you might do. When you get in front of them,
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: they don't mind teaching and sharing. They will mind giving
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: you money. See, most people want to meet them mentor
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: so they can present an idea to him and get
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: some financial help. That's the quickest way to run them
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: off because everybody is used to that. Do you have
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: any idea? How many times in a week I'm asked
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: for money? It's sickening. But if you come to me
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: and say, man, could you just give me a piece
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: of advice? I usually don't have no problem with that.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: I got time for most Anybody that wants some advice
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: wants me to share a wealth a piece of knowledge.
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: That's okay. So when you get to these people, have
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: a plan to be taught something. Ask him to teach
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: you to fish, not to give you a fish sandwich.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: Ask them to teach you to fish. They don't have
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: a problem with that. Now in several ways to get
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: in front of them. But when you do get that,
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: when you finally do meet them and meet the main
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: as difficult as you think. Now, if you live in
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: you know, New York and your mentor lives in l A,
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: you're gonna have to find a way to get to
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: l A. Oh, you gotta find out when you come
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: to New York. You gotta do some research. But you
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: have mentors closer than that. You have somebody who's a
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: really well mentally balanced person that you need in anation from.
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: You have a person who seems to be doing really
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: well with a wife and their children. You need information
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: form because it's all a balancing act. You can't be
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: successful in your business and while your family sitting over
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: there struggling and in ruins is not going to work.
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: Once you learn the traits of success. It it filters
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: over into every other aspect of life. So you gotta
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: have a balance. You can find these people right here.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: Don't ask them for money. People want to share and
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: teach and give you information. Everybody needs a mentor. You
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: cannot make it without mentorship. You know, there's an incredible saying,
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: and we ain't got to get into why so incredible.
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: But friendship is essential to the soul. You know why
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: friendship is so essential to the soul. I've lost my mother,
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: my father, I've lost my brother, I've lost my best friend. Before.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: You can live your life without your mother, you may
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: have to eventually one day, you can live your life
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: without your father. You may eventually have to do that.
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: One day. You can live your life without your uncles
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: and your relatives. But you know what, it is very
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: very difficult to live your life without a friend. It
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: is very very difficult to live in this world with
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: no friendship. Nowhere money you can pick up. It's man,
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: you got. Friendship is essential to the soul. Do not
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: avoid mentoring. Don't try to do it all by yourself,
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: because nobody gives to the top by yourself. There's no
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: such thing as a self naze man. You got to
