- 0:24Speaker 1: to mother for Please don't join jo. You gotta turn
- 1:10Speaker 1: you go. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you haven't got to turn them out. Then turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water the water go. Come come on your bad huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man. What an amazing blessing. God
- 2:15Speaker 1: has given me my health, my dreams, all of it.
- 2:21Speaker 1: God gave it to me. I accept it. I work hard,
- 2:25Speaker 1: but man on, man on, man, I work hard is
- 2:28Speaker 1: something that He gave me a gift. And that's what
- 2:32Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about today, because God
- 2:35Speaker 1: has gifted everyone, so I can't help but believe it.
- 2:38Speaker 1: You are gifted in some way something about you. It's
- 2:43Speaker 1: special and unique. That doesn't mean you're the only one
- 2:46Speaker 1: that can sing, or you're the only one that can write,
- 2:48Speaker 1: Are you the only one that can draw, You're the
- 2:51Speaker 1: only one that can decorate, or you're the only one
- 2:54Speaker 1: that can network or you're the only one that that's
- 2:56Speaker 1: not what it means. Or you have a great scientific mind,
- 2:59Speaker 1: or you can things out, or you're good and problem solving.
- 3:02Speaker 1: You're not the only one, but you are a unique individual.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Nobody will travel the exact path that you own. Nobody
- 3:08Speaker 1: will have everything happened in a series of circumstances in
- 3:13Speaker 1: the order that you're going to have it happened to you.
- 3:15Speaker 1: That's what I mean when I say that you are unique.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But now because you are gifted, you know you have
- 3:22Speaker 1: something you have to do. You know, there's a scripture.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It's in Proverbs, Proverbs eighteen and sixteen. I've been trying
- 3:29Speaker 1: to be a little bit better at that for you,
- 3:31Speaker 1: you know. So when I have an idea and I
- 3:34Speaker 1: know where it is, I have somebody looked the scripture
- 3:36Speaker 1: up from it handed to me. So it's in Proverbs
- 3:39Speaker 1: eighteen sixteen. And this is the layman's term of it.
- 3:43Speaker 1: It says a man's gift make room for him and
- 3:46Speaker 1: brings him before great men. It is your gift that
- 3:51Speaker 1: will make room for you. Now my interpretation of this
- 3:54Speaker 1: is this. Now I could be wrong. Please go to
- 3:57Speaker 1: your local church, Synder God Temple, Moss. Whatever you do
- 4:00Speaker 1: and go get clarification. But what my gift has done
- 4:04Speaker 1: in making room for me is I've taken it almost
- 4:08Speaker 1: in the literal sense. My gift has actually made room
- 4:11Speaker 1: for me. It has cleared paths for me. My gift
- 4:14Speaker 1: has opened up doors for me. That's what I take
- 4:17Speaker 1: it as. It will make room for you. My gift
- 4:20Speaker 1: has is broadened my ability to travel. My gift has
- 4:24Speaker 1: opened my eyes to fashion. My gift has caused me
- 4:29Speaker 1: to be able to provide for my family. My gift
- 4:33Speaker 1: has caused me to be able to reach more people.
- 4:37Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying in terms of it will make
- 4:40Speaker 1: room for you. That it may be another interpretation. I'm
- 4:42Speaker 1: just telling you how I took it, that it's worked
- 4:44Speaker 1: out pretty good for me to that understanding. But I'm
- 4:47Speaker 1: pretty sure Bishop Jake's, Joel Oldstein, Kenneth for Almah, you know, God,
- 4:52Speaker 1: Glenn Staples, Bishop Glenn Stables, these guys give you much
- 4:55Speaker 1: better understanding of it. I'm just giving it to you,
- 4:57Speaker 1: you know where I know how sold you. I don't know.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I just like to keep it right there. But and
- 5:02Speaker 1: then it says that it brings you before great men.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I mean, you know, it's gonna take you places. It's
- 5:09Speaker 1: gonna take you places you never thought of going. You're
- 5:12Speaker 1: gonna meet people because of your gift. I told my son,
- 5:16Speaker 1: who two of them are good photographers, You'll be taking
- 5:18Speaker 1: pictures of great men. And then I messed with him.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You already taking pictures to say, your daddy, you know what,
- 5:23Speaker 1: I'm messing with him like that. But that's just me
- 5:24Speaker 1: and them just kicking it. But you know, but one day,
- 5:27Speaker 1: who knows, you could be shooting the president. You know,
- 5:30Speaker 1: you could be shooting some foreign dignitaries. You know, you
- 5:33Speaker 1: could be shooting great sport events. You know, you never
- 5:35Speaker 1: know where it could take you. But that's your gift.
- 5:38Speaker 1: What you gotta do is you gotta get to move
- 5:40Speaker 1: and though. See, you can't have your gift and not
- 5:43Speaker 1: do nothing with it. See. You know what that reminds
- 5:45Speaker 1: me of. It's something that my father used to say,
- 5:49Speaker 1: get up off your butt because you're sitting on a
- 5:53Speaker 1: gold mine. He say that all the time. Boy, get
- 5:56Speaker 1: up off your butt and move it, because you're sitting
- 5:59Speaker 1: on a gold mine. I never really quite got that
- 6:01Speaker 1: when I was little, but now that I'm an adult,
- 6:03Speaker 1: I got it full well. See, a lot of you
- 6:05Speaker 1: are sitting You're sitting on a talent or a gift
- 6:09Speaker 1: that you have. You're sitting on an ability. I don't
- 6:12Speaker 1: care if it's making cakes or pies. That's a gift, man,
- 6:16Speaker 1: that's a talent. I don't care. If it's the ability
- 6:18Speaker 1: to do how that's a gift. Man. Half of you
- 6:21Speaker 1: are gifted. A lot of us are gifted, and we're
- 6:24Speaker 1: sitting on it, looking at other people wondering what can
- 6:27Speaker 1: I do to make it? You already got something to
- 6:29Speaker 1: make it with. If you would just get up off
- 6:32Speaker 1: your behind, man, quits sitting on that gold mine. Some
- 6:36Speaker 1: of you are tech savvy, just a whiz is when
- 6:39Speaker 1: it comes to engineering and putting stuff together and cables
- 6:43Speaker 1: and wires and computers and stuff. And now you steady
- 6:46Speaker 1: looking around trying to figure out, Man, wonder what I
- 6:48Speaker 1: can go do? How about you go do that? You
- 6:51Speaker 1: know it ain't that hard, man, if you would just
- 6:54Speaker 1: take note of what God has given you already. He
- 6:58Speaker 1: has given you a gift already. He has already given
- 7:01Speaker 1: you a talent. Now the fact that you ain't using
- 7:04Speaker 1: it and you're sitting on your tail somewhere now who
- 7:08Speaker 1: fathers what we're talking about? Well, what you're blaming God
- 7:13Speaker 1: for that? Man? I tell you what. I sit around
- 7:16Speaker 1: people all the time who are gifted, and I'm looking
- 7:20Speaker 1: at their gifts, and they steady complaining about what they
- 7:23Speaker 1: don't have, but will not get up off there behind
- 7:28Speaker 1: and use the gifts that God gave them. And it's frustrating.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's gotta be frustrating for you if you're doing it,
- 7:35Speaker 1: because it's frustrating for me when I see it. So
- 7:38Speaker 1: when these people come to me and ask me for help,
- 7:40Speaker 1: I just keep going the same thing over and over.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Help yourself, man, do for you use your gift. It's
- 7:46Speaker 1: a cat sitting behind the wall right now that's locked up.
- 7:50Speaker 1: That's so good at artistry. It's cats in that tattoo
- 7:53Speaker 1: and everybody, man, get out, do it the right way.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Quit selling drugs. Man, You ain't going to West selling
- 8:00Speaker 1: no drugs. You're going to jail. And if that don't
- 8:02Speaker 1: do it, somebody gonna get tired of you're selling drugs
- 8:04Speaker 1: because they're gonna want to sell them over and they're
- 8:06Speaker 1: gonna kill you. Let's just keep this thing real for
- 8:08Speaker 1: just a second here, Come on, man, get up off
- 8:11Speaker 1: your butt because you're sitting on the gold mine, and
- 8:14Speaker 1: you're sitting up here, somebody always looking for a shortcut
- 8:16Speaker 1: to the top. Ain't no shortcut. Somebody told me this
- 8:19Speaker 1: the other day. Man, the road to success is always
- 8:22Speaker 1: under construction. It ain't paved, it's got detour signs on it.
- 8:29Speaker 1: It's got slow men working. Sometimes they flip the stop sign.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You gotta sit there and wait. Sometimes they got slow.
- 8:37Speaker 1: That's traffic. That's accidents. Somebody on the road holding up
- 8:41Speaker 1: things with a flat tie. It's nails, it's gravels. This
- 8:44Speaker 1: spike is everything. The road to success is always under construction.
- 8:50Speaker 1: It ain't getting ready to be easy just because you
- 8:53Speaker 1: didn't decided to do it. But don't sit around on
- 8:55Speaker 1: your behind and complain all the time about what you
- 8:58Speaker 1: don't have. My daddy said it, man, get up off
- 9:01Speaker 1: your butt because you're sitting on a gold mine. You
- 9:04Speaker 1: got a gift, you got a talent, You got something
- 9:07Speaker 1: that you can do that could make a way for you,
- 9:10Speaker 1: but you won't do it. It is within you. Stop
- 9:14Speaker 1: looking around. Here's where people waste the most time on
- 9:17Speaker 1: the road to success, looking around at somebody else, trying
- 9:21Speaker 1: to figure out man, How can I do what they did?
- 9:24Speaker 1: Do what you do? You ain't jay Z, You ain't. Sorry.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I got a couple of your homies told you you
- 9:32Speaker 1: rap better than him. But you're not jay Z. Really
- 9:35Speaker 1: you're not. You know, all of us can shot at him,
- 9:38Speaker 1: but we ain't Richard Pryor a nice shot Steve, Bernie Die,
- 9:43Speaker 1: all of we took some great shots at it. We're
- 9:46Speaker 1: not him. Do what you can do? Do you do
- 9:50Speaker 1: your gift quick complaining about what you don't have. Get
- 9:53Speaker 1: up off your butt because you're sitting on a gold mine.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening Harpy Morning Show. Won't two want two three?
- 10:06Speaker 1: Hit it? You know? I normally you can go one,
- 10:09Speaker 1: two three like that you think a song fin the
- 10:11Speaker 1: follow But today I just flifted on y'all said, whoa,
- 10:14Speaker 1: let me do something to them today. I'm gonna do
- 10:17Speaker 1: walk two who two three. I sound like I'm in
- 10:22Speaker 1: the band, man, because in my heart, that's what I
- 10:24Speaker 1: wanted to be in. But I was missing two key elements.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I can't play a damn thing and I can't sing,
- 10:31Speaker 1: so and kind of was crippling, you know, you know,
- 10:35Speaker 1: but that that ain't stopped some people, though from getting
- 10:38Speaker 1: in the band anyway. I had noticed in my life,
- 10:42Speaker 1: and so I didn't want to be one of those.
- 10:44Speaker 1: So I decided to go the path that God had
- 10:46Speaker 1: created for me, that of C. O. M. E. D
- 10:51Speaker 1: Y comedy. Yeah, it's a good choice, made better sense
- 10:58Speaker 1: for me, so I could do it. Was a great choice.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Actually nailed it. Hey, let me jay, you something that
- 11:08Speaker 1: made a lot of mistakes in my life, got that
- 11:10Speaker 1: right though, Yeah, surely Strawberry. Hey, good morning, Steve d.

- 12:44Speaker 1: a thing over here in France called a health card,
- 12:49Speaker 1: and that it's you have to have it on your
- 12:51Speaker 1: phone and they have to scan it or you can't
- 12:52Speaker 1: sit in certain restaurants. I like I like that. Yeah whatever, man, date,

- 13:43Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show all right time now
- 13:47Speaker 1: for asked the clo. This one is from Perry in Chicago.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Perry writes, I recently moved in with my girlfriend and
- 13:55Speaker 1: her two teenagers. Her son is real chilled, but her
- 13:58Speaker 1: daughter has got a real one with me that we
- 14:01Speaker 1: need to address. She's fourteen now, and she called her
- 14:04Speaker 1: grandmother and told her that I'm a freeloader and that
- 14:07Speaker 1: I talked to other women when her mom isn't home.
- 14:10Speaker 1: The grandmother had the nerve to step to me with
- 14:13Speaker 1: these accusations. I told her that we're looking for a
- 14:16Speaker 1: house and our real churt is a female. So I
- 14:20Speaker 1: let my girlfriend deal with her messy daughter. Or should
- 14:22Speaker 1: I speak to her now? We can tell you feel
- 14:27Speaker 1: about to Yeah, you step to her for what I mean?
- 14:32Speaker 1: What you're gonna say? She fourteen? Bro? She fourteen and
- 14:39Speaker 1: operating off bad man? Your ass comes be on socipeedi, Okay,
- 14:44Speaker 1: keep on dog. The first the warning shot was to
- 14:47Speaker 1: the grandmama. The real deal is when you'll wake up
- 14:52Speaker 1: and you'll ask his own TikTok. You ain't gonna know
- 14:59Speaker 1: what's happening at your job. But you find Yeah, no, man,
- 15:05Speaker 1: that's that's tell your girl what happened, and then you know,
- 15:10Speaker 1: I mean, let's just blend in. The family's tough, man,
- 15:12Speaker 1: you gotta sing out. You gotta have a lot of
- 15:13Speaker 1: family meetings. I'm just gonna tell you that I ain't
- 15:16Speaker 1: had a minute, so go ah from family meetings, you know.
- 15:22Speaker 1: And it's a girl. Man, she's a little girl. So
- 15:24Speaker 1: you gotta be careful and you gotta handle the kids
- 15:27Speaker 1: soft gloves, you know. Fourteen Man, you gotta you gotta
- 15:31Speaker 1: be kind to him. You're not gonna win this fourteen
- 15:35Speaker 1: year old girl over with any hostility at all. Just
- 15:39Speaker 1: not gonna do it. She's gonna get with her friends
- 15:41Speaker 1: and destroy you. TikTok headquarters. Here we go, all right,
- 15:48Speaker 1: Moving on, Monique and Louisville says, I've been teaching for
- 15:52Speaker 1: seven years and all of my students love me and
- 15:55Speaker 1: call me miss Mo. The school principle calls me miss Mobody,
- 16:00Speaker 1: and I tiptoed to the principal's office once a week
- 16:03Speaker 1: while the office manager is at lunch. The office manager
- 16:06Speaker 1: is my husband's cousin. So we've been extra careful around her.
- 16:12Speaker 1: My husband called me miss Mobody, and I smirked. I
- 16:16Speaker 1: was shocked, but I played it off. Do you think
- 16:18Speaker 1: his cousin knows what's going on? Which she thinks, pellow,
- 16:27Speaker 1: well Mobody, yeah, sound like the voice. It's not good,
- 16:37Speaker 1: is it? Are they at an elementary school? All of
- 16:43Speaker 1: my students love me and call me. She doesn't say, well,
- 16:46Speaker 1: let me ask you something, yes, manciple. Behold, if you built,
- 16:51Speaker 1: like the principal, say you build what school? Can you
- 16:56Speaker 1: tippytoe to the office and don't nobody see your ass?
- 17:01Speaker 1: That's the angle I'm I'm just trying to say it.
- 17:06Speaker 1: If it's boy is at that school of any age?
- 17:13Speaker 1: They got cameras at school now and you won't. Yeah, yeah,
- 17:23Speaker 1: And we're extra careful because his You ain't that careful?
- 17:29Speaker 1: First of all? How many adults is at the school?
- 17:32Speaker 1: A lot? A lot? And when you tempte toe into
- 17:36Speaker 1: this principal's office, who don't see that? That's right, that's right.
- 17:43Speaker 1: That's got to be hard god, and that's got out
- 17:49Speaker 1: of it. Got to be laying somewhere. Now, come on,
- 17:55Speaker 1: that's a lot old. I not good, No, it's not good,
- 18:10Speaker 1: not at all. Wait a minute. It's good when it's happening.
- 18:15Speaker 1: It's good when it's happening. It shut up. This ain't
- 18:19Speaker 1: good for nobody. This this this, this guy disaster road
- 18:24Speaker 1: on it. Listen to me. Obeyed the warning shot. Obey
- 18:34Speaker 1: the warning shot. That's all I can tell you. Every
- 18:40Speaker 1: time I make I've ignored the warning shot. Yeah, the
- 18:46Speaker 1: next one takes off a little ear meat. And then
- 18:52Speaker 1: if that one don't get it, the third one is
- 18:55Speaker 1: dead in hill damn tea and they leave fracture. Oh
- 19:01Speaker 1: that's my advice to you, miss Mobody. All right, that's right.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Moving on. Lronda in Columbia, South Carolina, says, I'm twenty seven,
- 19:11Speaker 1: married and a new mom of a three month old.
- 19:13Speaker 1: When I had the baby, my husband's mom came and
- 19:16Speaker 1: stayed for us for a week. She commented about the
- 19:19Speaker 1: cleanliness of my home, so I reminded her that I
- 19:22Speaker 1: was on bed rest for two months and couldn't do housework,
- 19:26Speaker 1: but her son could. Now she's taken it upon herself
- 19:29Speaker 1: to come over every Saturday morning to clean up. I
- 19:33Speaker 1: find it offensive, but my husband loves it. How do
- 19:37Speaker 1: I gain control of my home again and not offend
- 19:40Speaker 1: my mother? In law and husband that landstapment ship. She says,
- 19:45Speaker 1: I find it offensive, but my husband loves it. How
- 19:48Speaker 1: do I gain control of my home again and not
- 19:51Speaker 1: offend my mother in law and husband? Excuse me, maid, Yes, yeah,
- 19:58Speaker 1: she shut up. Shut up. He was on bad rest, milk.
- 20:05Speaker 1: It look like I need another two months. She mentioned
- 20:12Speaker 1: the cleanliness of the house. You reminded her you want
- 20:15Speaker 1: bad rest. What did she do? She comes over now
- 20:18Speaker 1: to clean up her husband love. Damn, that ain't nice.
- 20:26Speaker 1: What kind of way? So she got the Now if
- 20:33Speaker 1: you don't want to come over, you can start, you know, Boston,
- 20:37Speaker 1: get under that chair. No, you gotta say stuff that's
- 20:41Speaker 1: hard to do. When is she gonna get under the refrigerator? Okay,
- 20:49Speaker 1: all right, thank you. Cielo is always going on with
- 20:52Speaker 1: these gutters out here. Run that frank back right after this.
- 20:58Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 21:02Speaker 1: top of the hour. Miss Anne is standing by with

- 23:03Speaker 1: me Brian, Brian, they called me Ba. I'm sorry. Okay, God,
- 23:08Speaker 1: I meet you at the church. Uh well, I just
- 23:11Speaker 1: joined about three weeks ago and they've already given me
- 23:14Speaker 1: an assignment. So I made you in marketing in school.
- 23:18Speaker 1: So they're trying to get me to take care of
- 23:20Speaker 1: the children and their vacation that's coming up. Sweet. Put
- 23:23Speaker 1: together some things, a great fundraiser, and you know, the
- 23:26Speaker 1: choir members have been very receptive. You're the last one
- 23:29Speaker 1: for me to call, and I wanted to make sure
- 23:31Speaker 1: you on board with us. Okay, Yeah, I just never
- 23:33Speaker 1: heard about this, So right right now, are you able
- 23:36Speaker 1: to bring your choir robe on on Saturday? Uh? Yeah,
- 23:41Speaker 1: we sing were singing a song? What song did you
- 23:43Speaker 1: need us to to sing? Did you tell the pathword
- 23:46Speaker 1: about this. No, no, no, you guys are not actually
- 23:48Speaker 1: going to be singing a song. Uh. What it is
- 23:52Speaker 1: is that we're having a uh and I'm glad, I'm
- 23:55Speaker 1: so glad that you're you're, you're, you're ready to participate
- 23:57Speaker 1: in what we're doing. So I want to, first of all,
- 23:59Speaker 1: say thank you first and foremost, I want to say
- 24:02Speaker 1: thank you. Okay, all right, so what all right? I'm
- 24:09Speaker 1: sorry that we need the robes for I can bring
- 24:11Speaker 1: my robe by, just the rode. What's gonna happen is
- 24:14Speaker 1: you guys aren't singing a song, but we're having a
- 24:16Speaker 1: wet robe uh contest. So what now a wet robe contest?
- 24:24Speaker 1: You're talking about like a wet T shirt contest type
- 24:27Speaker 1: of thing. Well, it's not a T shirt, it's a robe.
- 24:30Speaker 1: So you don't have a T shirt on. What what
- 24:33Speaker 1: we need you to do with? No, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 24:35Speaker 1: not in the church. You're talking about the uh a
- 24:41Speaker 1: wet robe contest. You said a wet robe contest. I
- 24:46Speaker 1: heard of a wet T shirt contest. That's not that's
- 24:49Speaker 1: not the same thing, though, right, Well, no, it's a
- 24:51Speaker 1: little bit different. What it is you don't have a
- 24:53Speaker 1: T shirt on, you actually have your your your choir
- 24:56Speaker 1: robe on, and you don't have anything all underneath. Said,
- 25:00Speaker 1: you don't wear any clothes unneath. And what we do
- 25:02Speaker 1: is all ladies listen to me. We're gonna let wet
- 25:06Speaker 1: all of the ladies down, and the sexiest one that's
- 25:11Speaker 1: wet with their role at is gonna win five hundred
- 25:15Speaker 1: dollars and half for the money is gonna go to
- 25:18Speaker 1: the children's vacation. Hello, you're talking about a wet T
- 25:23Speaker 1: shirt contest in the church. No, I'm talking about a
- 25:26Speaker 1: wet road contest at the church. Oh No, I'm not
- 25:29Speaker 1: there getting there and and and be naked under it's
- 25:32Speaker 1: gonna be it's gonna be out. It's gonna be out road.
- 25:36Speaker 1: We need you to be completely naked under your road
- 25:38Speaker 1: and we're gonna win everybody down with the water holes.
- 25:41Speaker 1: And the finest one is going to be able to
- 25:44Speaker 1: uh to win five hundred dollars and two hundred and
- 25:47Speaker 1: fifty of that half for that money is gonna go
- 25:50Speaker 1: to the children's They can hold on, Hold on, what
- 25:51Speaker 1: do you say your name was again? My name, my
- 25:54Speaker 1: name is Bryan Ran. How long you've been a member
- 25:57Speaker 1: of this church because I don't ever remember me. Okay,
- 26:00Speaker 1: I've been a member for about three weeks now. Like
- 26:03Speaker 1: I said, since I was a major in marketing. They
- 26:06Speaker 1: actually threw me into no way after three weeks that
- 26:09Speaker 1: they're gonna put you in charge of something. I don't
- 26:12Speaker 1: understand one another problem with you trying to I don't
- 26:16Speaker 1: even gave me. They're trying to create that, and you
- 26:22Speaker 1: don't want to help me kids. I want to help
- 26:25Speaker 1: the kids, but I'm not gonna get up there in
- 26:26Speaker 1: no choir road. I'm doing my best right now not
- 26:29Speaker 1: to cuss you out because I'm a woman of God.
- 26:32Speaker 1: So you're too good to be naked under your role?
- 26:34Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying? You're too good to look.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I don't have to explain myself, but I'm not gonna
- 26:39Speaker 1: be naked up to no church. Okay, So so you
- 26:42Speaker 1: can't do the naked roll card. You can't do that
- 26:45Speaker 1: for the kids. I know you're not about to tell
- 26:47Speaker 1: me what I can and can I do for no kids. Now.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I don't know who gave me my number, but I
- 26:52Speaker 1: think you need to figure out who else to call
- 26:53Speaker 1: for this because I'm not gonna be a part of this.
- 26:55Speaker 1: We called all the other choir members and they don't
- 26:58Speaker 1: have a problem with it. You if y'all all the
- 27:01Speaker 1: fire members, what are they names? What are the choire members?
- 27:04Speaker 1: Did you call that? What we called? We called sister
- 27:08Speaker 1: Sister Bridget in the choir. Sister Bridget didn't have a
- 27:11Speaker 1: problem with it. Ain't no Sister Bridget in the choir. Okay,
- 27:15Speaker 1: how about Sister Rachel. Sister Rachel in a choir was
- 27:18Speaker 1: fine with it. Ain't no Sister Rachel. Sister Rachel wouldn't
- 27:21Speaker 1: be getting naked. Okay, okay, okay, let me ask you
- 27:24Speaker 1: to something. Look, you know, I know, but I think
- 27:30Speaker 1: do you know Sister Devita in the choir? Hello? Yes,
- 27:36Speaker 1: Do you know Sister Divita in the choir? Yes, I
- 27:39Speaker 1: know Sister Divita. Okay, So, so if Sister Divita said
- 27:44Speaker 1: that Sister Bridge and Sister Rachel didn't have a problem
- 27:48Speaker 1: doing it, why do you have a problem doing it.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I'm not about to be naked in a church, but
- 27:54Speaker 1: ken't you're not getting the naked in the church. You're
- 27:57Speaker 1: gonna be in the back part of the church and
- 27:59Speaker 1: we're gonna pray you down with a water holes on
- 28:01Speaker 1: your robe. That's what we're not gonna be up there.
- 28:04Speaker 1: This is disgusting. What Thomas said you would do it.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Tommy said you didn't have no problem doing it. Who
- 28:09Speaker 1: the hell it's Tommy. We don't even have a Tommy
- 28:12Speaker 1: at the church. You keep making up all of these maids.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Tommy is nephew tom from the Steve Harby Morning Show.
- 28:18Speaker 1: That's who Tommy is. Hello, Yes, this is Tommy. Baby,
- 28:27Speaker 1: this is nephew Tommy. How are you sure? Oh my god,
- 28:32Speaker 1: that's not real. This is not It's not real baby,
- 28:34Speaker 1: that nobody was calling you about doing a wet rope.
- 28:38Speaker 1: You are you? I was gonna go out on you.
- 28:41Speaker 1: You were already going off on me. The Vida got
- 28:45Speaker 1: me to prank phone call you. Oh my god, I'm
- 28:48Speaker 1: gonna get I was holding my time what you're saying
- 28:54Speaker 1: you was about to cull. I was about to cut
- 28:56Speaker 1: you out right out. Hey, maybe I gotta ask you. You
- 28:58Speaker 1: You gotta tell me what's bad? Is what I mean?
- 29:00Speaker 1: The badest radio show in the lake. I'm done, Shirley,
- 29:09Speaker 1: take it away. That is king of break right there
- 29:14Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, thanking I
- 29:16Speaker 1: you entertainment and National News, right after this, you're listening
- 29:20Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 29:26Speaker 1: get ready, get ready. In today's entertainment, I think we
- 29:29Speaker 1: need a drum roll right here. This is big news,
- 29:32Speaker 1: This is major, Okay. Premiere Networks announced yesterday a new
- 29:37Speaker 1: and extended, long term contract with mister Steve Harvey. And
- 29:42Speaker 1: we all know he is one of the most recognizable
- 29:45Speaker 1: and sought after entertainers in the world. Well, all right,
- 29:54Speaker 1: I'll read the whole thing. I want the whole thing.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Sought after? What what? One of the most recognizable and
- 30:01Speaker 1: sought after entertainers in the world. Just read them last
- 30:05Speaker 1: two words words in the world, in the world. I
- 30:13Speaker 1: told you you're global. I noticed little black stuttering country
- 30:17Speaker 1: ass pick out of Welsh West Virginia. Didn't mess around
- 30:21Speaker 1: and go get in ass worldwide. So let me tell
- 30:28Speaker 1: you what this entails, mister global, worldwide person. Under this
- 30:33Speaker 1: new contract, Steve, that is you, You'll continue your current
- 30:38Speaker 1: role as host of said show, the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 30:42Speaker 1: and the Steve Harvey Morning Show is the number one
- 30:44Speaker 1: syndicated morning show in America. That's more than the world too.
- 30:51Speaker 1: That's my baby, that's right. Because what did it say
- 30:54Speaker 1: in the world of us and sought after entertainers in
- 30:59Speaker 1: the world, This number one syndicated show in America. Well,
- 31:03Speaker 1: when you gotta be you got a bigger radio show
- 31:05Speaker 1: in the where else somewhere? Don't think so talk that stuff? Yes, sir.
- 31:12Speaker 1: With more than fifteen years in syndication with Premiere, Steve
- 31:16Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show reaches millions of listeners and more than
- 31:19Speaker 1: one hundred stations across the country. It is available on
- 31:23Speaker 1: I heard radio apps. Excuse me why we flex? Someone
- 31:29Speaker 1: told us we were done in radio. Someone told us
- 31:36Speaker 1: that you will never ever do radio again if I
- 31:40Speaker 1: got anything to do with it. The problem with the
- 31:43Speaker 1: statement that this person made was she is not my God.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Nothing to do with my direction in life, as does
- 31:55Speaker 1: any other hater. We were told by Premiere if we
- 32:00Speaker 1: were in twenty five cities in four years, that would
- 32:05Speaker 1: be considered a success. Yeah, how many cities were in? Okay,
- 32:11Speaker 1: Right here, it says, uh, one hundred stations across the
- 32:15Speaker 1: country more than it's actually one oh three. Look at God,
- 32:26Speaker 1: Yeah that's the God. I also just let me fex
- 32:30Speaker 1: for just another monther. I got another all soul for
- 32:36Speaker 1: everybody out there that has ever written you off and
- 32:42Speaker 1: laughed at something they thought was your demise, Yes, and
- 32:46Speaker 1: said that you will never rise again. But they did
- 32:50Speaker 1: not know that We're on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 32:54Speaker 1: We don't stand in front of closed doors. We walk
- 32:57Speaker 1: up the hall, Yes, because there are more dolls than
- 33:03Speaker 1: the one you think got closed, but your clothes. It's
- 33:07Speaker 1: cause God wants you to walk up the hall and
- 33:09Speaker 1: go through a big adult That's right. And in conclusion,
- 33:13Speaker 1: we have to thank our beautiful loyal listeners. Thank you
- 33:16Speaker 1: so much. Lady and gentlemen, thank you so very much.
- 33:20Speaker 1: We need to bring this back. I wanted to say something.
- 33:23Speaker 1: We will. We will, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Shrill
- 33:28Speaker 1: with the rest of the news, I mean, Carner's announced
- 33:34Speaker 1: an official cause of death for Gabby Patino who went
- 33:37Speaker 1: missing during that cross country road trip with a boyfriend
- 33:40Speaker 1: and turned up dead. In the manner of death of
- 33:43Speaker 1: Gabrielle Nora Potito, we find the cause and manner to
- 33:47Speaker 1: be caused death by strangulation and manner is homicide and
- 33:52Speaker 1: the Carner says that Potito was killed three to four
- 33:54Speaker 1: weeks before her body was found on September nineteenth. Now,
- 33:58Speaker 1: Sarties are still searching for the boyfriend, Brian Laundry, who
- 34:01Speaker 1: accompanied her on that cross county trip and really has disappeared.
- 34:04Speaker 1: He was at his parents' house and somebody let look
- 34:07Speaker 1: the other way and he got away. Meanwhile, the family
- 34:10Speaker 1: of black Illinois State University grad student Gilanni Day is
- 34:14Speaker 1: hoping for at least a cause of death in his case. Gilani,
- 34:17Speaker 1: an aspiring doctor, was reported missing in late August, but
- 34:21Speaker 1: his mother felt she had to make a plead to
- 34:22Speaker 1: the national press in order to get the local cops
- 34:25Speaker 1: to do any work on her son's case. Turns out
- 34:28Speaker 1: that a body had been found weeks earlier in the
- 34:30Speaker 1: Illinois River, which they say they just identified as the
- 34:34Speaker 1: popular grad student. Day's mother says she wants her son's
- 34:37Speaker 1: murderer found and prosecuted. How Speaker Nancy Pelosi says, in
- 34:42Speaker 1: order to pass both a President Biden's infrastructure bills, Democrats
- 34:45Speaker 1: are going to have to cut down the price tag
- 34:47Speaker 1: for the mostly costly one, the one that's the three
- 34:49Speaker 1: and a half trillion dollars that's a human infrastructure measure.
- 34:52Speaker 1: But she has an idea on how to bring the
- 34:54Speaker 1: course down by shortening the length of certain sections of
- 34:57Speaker 1: the bill by still getting the work done. I'm point
- 35:00Speaker 1: it that we're not going with the original three point
- 35:02Speaker 1: five trillion dollars, which was very transformative. But whatever we do,
- 35:07Speaker 1: we'll make decisions that will continue to be transformative. And
- 35:11Speaker 1: Pelosi says that Democrats can still pour a lot of
- 35:13Speaker 1: support into at least three areas of the measure, like
- 35:17Speaker 1: climate change, childcare, and also into support for working people
- 35:21Speaker 1: and for things like paid medical leaving stuff, So she
- 35:24Speaker 1: says there's still enough gas in the tank. The La
- 35:27Speaker 1: Raiders are going to have a new coach when they
- 35:29Speaker 1: play Sunday at Denver, a long time coach, John Gruden.
- 35:33Speaker 1: I know you've heard about this step down after emails
- 35:36Speaker 1: acquired by The New York Times and by the Wall
- 35:38Speaker 1: Street Journal revealed the racist, sexist, and homophobic comics he
- 35:42Speaker 1: was making about NFL players, union reps, and even Commissioner
- 35:45Speaker 1: Roger Goodell between twenty eleven and twenty eighteen. And finals
- 35:51Speaker 1: looks like Captain James T. Kirk going into space this
- 35:54Speaker 1: morning for real nine AM, Texas time actor William Shatner,
- 35:57Speaker 1: who's ninety years old, scheduled to make Detective space today
- 36:01Speaker 1: along with the crew of Jeff Bezos Blue Origin New
- 36:03Speaker 1: Shepherd's space flight, making shot new the oldest person who's
- 36:06Speaker 1: ever flown in space for real. And the whole thing
- 36:09Speaker 1: will take about eleven minutes. But you're going up there,
- 36:11Speaker 1: I'd be scared. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:14Speaker 1: You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. All right, we told
- 36:18Speaker 1: you earlier. It is our girl, Carlin's birthday today, and
- 36:21Speaker 1: so you know what that means. Junior is here. Whatever

- 36:53Speaker 1: your essence right here. Carlins name with the poem is

- 37:13Speaker 1: and what we should not say. You put the should
- 37:16Speaker 1: together with that day is no doubt. You stop us
- 37:20Speaker 1: with we ain't doing that before it come out of
- 37:22Speaker 1: our mouth. Every show needs someone like you to tighten
- 37:27Speaker 1: up our behind because if we said what we wanted
- 37:29Speaker 1: to say, we all be an unemployment line. That would
- 37:32Speaker 1: be Tommy, Jay Steve, and myself and especially jay Ba
- 37:37Speaker 1: Steve too if he said what he wants to say,
- 37:39Speaker 1: he'd be in the line too. So celebrate, sweet lady,
- 37:42Speaker 1: have a slice of cake on me. We don't care
- 37:45Speaker 1: what age you are, because to us you twenty three.

- 48:43Speaker 1: I don't give up, hey, man, chuck the up with that.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Do you know how long we've been together? I know
- 48:50Speaker 1: this woman says high school. Don't come to me with that, Okay,
- 48:56Speaker 1: so so I was just trying to get up. What
- 48:59Speaker 1: what what? What time do you guys get off? I'm coming.
- 49:03Speaker 1: I leave off at five thirty, but I was gonna

- 54:44Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Subject my mother and my ex are besties.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been divorced for almost three years
- 54:54Speaker 1: and I moved away after the divorce to start anew.
- 54:57Speaker 1: My husband was an avid cheater, and my mother finally
- 55:01Speaker 1: told me after he'd been having an affair with a
- 55:03Speaker 1: woman for over six months. My mother is employed by
- 55:07Speaker 1: my ex husband as his accountant. He has two businesses
- 55:11Speaker 1: that do very well in a small town therein. My
- 55:15Speaker 1: mother was a retired accountant when he and I met,
- 55:19Speaker 1: and he fell in love with her and he hired her.
- 55:22Speaker 1: When I say they fell in love, I mean it.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Whenever he and I would have a disagreement, she'd always
- 55:29Speaker 1: tell me to consider his point of view. When he cheated.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I think she knew it all along and only told
- 55:35Speaker 1: me because my ten year old daughter saw him with
- 55:38Speaker 1: this woman. Excuse me. My daughter kept referencing daddy's friend
- 55:43Speaker 1: at work, so I asked my mother and she spilled
- 55:46Speaker 1: the teeth. Our relationship hasn't been the same since then,
- 55:50Speaker 1: and she said it's because I divorced my husband. Her
- 55:53Speaker 1: belief is that I should have kept my family together
- 55:57Speaker 1: no matter what. The things my husband did for his
- 56:00Speaker 1: girlfriend were the same things he did for me, So
- 56:03Speaker 1: it wasn't the cheating that got to me. It was
- 56:06Speaker 1: the time he spent with her and the trip he
- 56:08Speaker 1: took her on. I asked my mother to reconsider working
- 56:12Speaker 1: for him, and she said that whatever we had going
- 56:14Speaker 1: on should not affect her money. Our own daughter doesn't
- 56:20Speaker 1: talk to my ex right now because she figured out
- 56:22Speaker 1: who Daddy's friend was. My mother called recently and said
- 56:26Speaker 1: she's trying to get the family together for Thanksgiving and
- 56:30Speaker 1: she wants me there. She said, my ex will be there,
- 56:33Speaker 1: will be doing the turkey, and she would cook everything else.
- 56:37Speaker 1: How can my own mother be so ignorant and invite
- 56:40Speaker 1: him to dinner? Should I show up and curse them
- 56:43Speaker 1: both out? Well, you know that sounds good on paper,
- 56:46Speaker 1: it really does, but but this is bad. I mean,
- 56:50Speaker 1: this situation is bad, and yes, your mom is really wrong.
- 56:53Speaker 1: I don't advise you to curse your mom out. I mean,
- 56:56Speaker 1: after all, she's all the way wrong. I agree with
- 56:59Speaker 1: you one hundred percent, but she is your mom. She's
- 57:03Speaker 1: not acting much like a mom, though. I will say that,
- 57:06Speaker 1: because her loyalty should be to you at all times,
- 57:08Speaker 1: and not your ex. He's cheating, he's your ex husband.
- 57:13Speaker 1: She knew about it, didn't tell you. She was keeping
- 57:15Speaker 1: these secrets all because of money? Is that why she
- 57:19Speaker 1: was doing it? I think this had to hurt you,
- 57:23Speaker 1: and this is some kind of betrayal on your mom's part.
- 57:27Speaker 1: The best thing you could do is decline her crazy,
- 57:31Speaker 1: thoughtless inconsiderate dinner invitation. Just don't go. Please make your
- 57:36Speaker 1: own plan for you and your baby girl, your daughter,
- 57:39Speaker 1: maybe some friends or whatever. But the main thing is
- 57:42Speaker 1: to forget what they have going on at the mom's
- 57:45Speaker 1: house and just let that go. Your mother is just
- 57:47Speaker 1: oh anyway, after the holidays, I say, continue to distance yourself.
- 57:53Speaker 1: This is a toxic situation. Stay away from it and
- 57:57Speaker 1: let them do their thing. Let them do her if
- 57:59Speaker 1: she won to stay over there with him, you know
- 58:01Speaker 1: the lines across the line of the sand. It's divided. Now.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Don't let her make you feel guilty for divorcing him.
- 58:08Speaker 1: That was a while ago, and you should. You definitely
- 58:12Speaker 1: did the wrong thing if he was doing all this
- 58:14Speaker 1: stuff that your mother said, and he obviously was. This
- 58:17Speaker 1: is just so wrong on so many levels, Steve, My
- 58:23Speaker 1: mother and my ex are besties, don't I don't get this,
- 58:26Speaker 1: especially from a male perspective. I just don't understand how
- 58:29Speaker 1: this operates and functions. But when you're talking about dysfunctional people,
- 58:35Speaker 1: then it's a little bit easier. You've been divorced for
- 58:39Speaker 1: three years, you moved away to start new your husband
- 58:42Speaker 1: has a wasn't big cheetah and your mother finally told
- 58:46Speaker 1: you after having an affair with a woman for over
- 58:49Speaker 1: six months. Your mother is employed by your ex husband
- 58:53Speaker 1: as his accountant. Here's where the problem is right here.
- 58:57Speaker 1: So he's got two beers to do very well in
- 58:58Speaker 1: small town there. And my mother was a retired accountant
- 59:04Speaker 1: when he and I met, and he fell in love
- 59:07Speaker 1: with her and he hired her. Now here's a problem
- 59:11Speaker 1: with the letter. When I say they fell in love,
- 59:13Speaker 1: I mean it. There's a lot in that statement, ma'am.
- 59:19Speaker 1: And I don't have the time to unpack it, but
- 59:23Speaker 1: I'll just rearrange some stuff in the luggage. Whenever he
- 59:27Speaker 1: told me, whenever we had a disagreement, the girl's mother
- 59:32Speaker 1: would always tell her to consider his point of view.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Then when the dude cheated, the lady wrote the letter, say,
- 59:40Speaker 1: I think she knew it all along and only told
- 59:43Speaker 1: me because my ten year old daughter saw him with
- 59:46Speaker 1: this woman. So I'm assuming that she had the daughter
- 59:52Speaker 1: before she married the man, because she refers to the
- 59:57Speaker 1: daughter as my ten year old daughter. And then the
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: daughter kept referencing daddy's friend at work. So you asked
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: your mother and she spilled the tea. Our relationship has
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: been the same since then, and she said it was
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: because I divorced my husband. Her belief is I should
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: have kept my family together no matter what. Now I think, ma'am,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: this is where you got a little bit going on.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Maybe your mother tried to stay out of your business.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Didn't have solid proof like the daughter didn't. She just
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: saw him somewhere and you and your husband told her
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: this is daddy's friend from work. That's why the daughter
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: was referencing the woman as daddy's friend. Thank your mother's
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: just trying to stay out of it. But I give
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: you real school. All right. We'll have part two of
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after the
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: hour of today's Strawberry Letters, subject my mother and my
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: ex are besties. Will get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject my mother and
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: my ex are besties. This woman's been divorced for three
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: years from her husband, who was a big cheater on her.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: When she met her husband, they introduced him to her mother.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Her mother fell in love with him, and the girl says,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I mean fell in love with him. Like I said earlier,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I think there's something behind that, but I don't have
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: time to unpack that because you didn't mention that in
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: the letter. Your daughter, who obviously you had before you
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: married this man, made a reference one day to daddy's
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: friend at work. You inquired to your mother about who
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: daddy's friend was. Finally she spilled the tea. She didn't
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: have to then, but she said, well, and I think
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: your mother was trying to stay out of y'all's business
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: because she didn't have solid proof that the man was cheating,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: but she had some inklings. So when you came to her,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: she told you she think the man is cheating. And
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: then you all's relations and ship ain't been the same since,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: because you thought your mother should have told you right away, well,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: it ain't your mama's bien since, and I think that
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: may have something to do with it. But then your
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: mother says it's because you divorce your husband and her
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: belief that you should have kept your family together no
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: matter what. Now here's you say. Here's what you say
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: the problem is? You say. The problem is the things
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: your ex husband did for his girlfriend were the same
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: things he did for me. So it wasn't the cheating
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: that got me. It was a time he spent with
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: her in the trip he took home. That's the cheating.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: See sisters, don't yeah, don't talk about he did the
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: same thing for me. That's that's what cheating is. You
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: seeing somebody? Why are you seeing somebody else? And what
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: do adults do when they see each other? They spend
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: time together. How did they spend time together? They go somewhere.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: So what you're sending a bit talking about this the
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: time he's been with her in the trip, What was
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: they supposed to do? Everybody don't have a fair at
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: lunch in the backseat of the car. He got money,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: he gonna do something a little bit different. So don't
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: talk about it's the same thing that got you. That's
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: what cheating is, ma'am. You're just trying to find another
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: reason to say you didn't keep the family together. But
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: you don't have to. You don't want to stay. What
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: to do because he cheated, that's all. Now it gets
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: a little sticky. You came to your ass your mother
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: to reconsider working for him, and she said that whatever
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: we had going on should not affect her money. That's
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: an interesting state man, but he gets even more interesting though.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: My own daughter doesn't talk to my ex right now.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Now's our daughter, so I don't know when ya had
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: a baby skip that. Don't talk to her my ex
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: right now because she figured out whose daddy friend was.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: My mother called recently and says she's trying to get
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: the family together for Thanksgiving. It she wants me there.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Your mother is trying to repair the relationship, but she's stupid.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: So she said, your ex will be doing the turkey
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: and she would cook everything. Now, now here is the thing.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: The a fab that the X had is probably over.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: He probably wants the best thing he ever had back.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: He don't went to the mother to get you back.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: So now the mother says she's trying to get the
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: family together. Your ex is gonna be doing the turkey
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: and she would cook everything else. How can my own
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: mother be so ignorant and invite him to dinner because
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: your mama ignorant? It's okay, some people have mama's that's ignorant.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: You got one. But now here's the danger I seeing this?
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Should I show up and cursing both out? Of course? Not?
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: Why why I add energy to that? Why are you
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: getting dressed to go over there to cut both of
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: them out? First of all, if I were you, I
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: would try to fix the relationship with my mother. That's
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: what I would do. That's an important relationship. She did
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: give you life. Now do it sound like she wrong
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: in this case? Absolutely? Yeah yes. But now if your
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: husband is not trying to get back with you, which
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: I think the case is. Here is the spoiler alert.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: You said your husband fell in love with your mother,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: and I mean he fell in love them. Let me
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: make a statement about me and ladies in case you
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: want to know where you stay with the man. If
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: you want to know where a man's heart is, the
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Holidays is where he is. If you want to know
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: where a man's heart is, the Holidays is where he is.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: So he's where he loves the family, and he still
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: loves hers. What you're saying, because he's over, he's going
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: to be over at the mom's now. But Thanksgiving, Yeah,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: now you can take that one or two ways. I
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: don't think you think your mama is seeing this man,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: but I do think your mother is attracted to his power.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: The power is money. Shoot, well, okay, he didn't provided
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: her with a job She's told her you should have
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: stayed with your family to hold your family together. Your
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: mama old school, all right, to find out who really
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: stuffed in there. Sports Talk with Junior coming up in
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: forty six minutes after. Right after this, you're listening show
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: time now for Junior and sports talk. What you got Junior?
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: All right? Surely before we get to sports talk, I
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: just gotta make an announcement for the foundation. If you
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: in the Dallas Fort Worth area and you have somebody
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: that needs help this Christmas with sickle cell, the entire family.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: I am going to take care of the family. Looking
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: for ten families. So just right, just go to kears
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Hope k I E R. S h Ope dot org.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: That's kars Hope dot org and click on the button,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: fill out the information, and then Junior claud is gonna
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: be coming to town. That's about all. Wait till November twelve. Yeah,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: he's gonna becoming to town for my people's Yeah, I'll
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: try to help these people. You help my people anyway.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: I'm doing that. So I don't know if you know this,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: but I know somebody had I know John Gruden happy
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: right now that Kyrie Irving is back in the news again.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Take some of this heat off from me. You on Kyrie.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Kyrie Irvin's official now that the Brooklyn Nets have said
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: that he will not be playing until he meets the
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: mandate for COVID nineteen in the state of New York.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: So that means not only were he just not playing
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: in the home games no more, he ain't even playing
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: on the road no more. They didn't they ain't playing
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: him in a big bench. Now that's thirty three million.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: We're talking about un four hundred and thirty five thousand
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: dollars a game, man, you know, I think that to me,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Kyrie is Kyrie. He's gonna do what he want to do.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: And look, I'm tired of saying you can take the
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: vaccine or not. But you're in the team sport, you're
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: in a state that has a mandate, and you want
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: to stick to your guards. You have no scientific proof
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: that the vaccine is bad for you. You're dealing with
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: online theories, folks. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: I'm not fitting to blow my life. All I got
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: to do is tell you this right here here, man.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: It makes four hundred and thirty five thousand dollars a game.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: I'm asking you, how many people do you know for
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: four hundred and thirty five thousand dollars would not go
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: take the shot? I don't know about four hundred and
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: thirty five. I'm telling no, this is what I think.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: What do you think? Just let me hear on what
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: you think? Kyrie. Family saying to him right now, boy,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: listen to me if he got any uncles or anybody. Yeah,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: listen to me. St started. I'm trying to tell you, man,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I couldn't be related to it. Brother, Come in, man,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: let me talk to you for a minute. You're going
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: to regret this move right here. You you can't do
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: anything else to make this kind of money. Nothing. You
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: gotta talent in the scale. Your ass ain't hosting no shows,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: You ain't funny, you ain't you ain't finished, be no
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: model gonna do to him. I'll tell you, I'll tell
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: you what not doing the shot gonna do. It's gonna
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: get your ass broke, Kyrie, Kyrie need a wife, dog?
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Thank you. Coming up at the top of the hour
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: will more of a s. Harvey Morning show right after this.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right, So Steve, you have
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: one more comment to make about about Kyrie refusing you
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: know what, some people are copycasting, and I think he
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: wants to be a martyr. I think he wants to
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: find a cause to attach himself to, like Colin Caper.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: And what Colin Kaepernick done was absolutely correct. He took
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: a knee for injustice. But Kyrie wants to be because
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: you remember, he wasn't He didn't want to talk about
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: the Games last year because he wanted to talk about
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: what was happening over in the Middle East. You ain't
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: got nothing to do with that, though, Yeah, you you
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: bringing up ain't fit to change a damn thing in
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: the Middle East. You ain't got a paper you can sign.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: They don't even know you, don't even know you over there. Dog,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: you sudn't have been talking about I'm worried about They
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: ain't worried about you. Where about Middle America? We're about that.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Go ahead of money, yeah, you know, And some people
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: will say, well, money isn't everything, you know, but no,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Well I tell you what something. I tell you money
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: is not everything, but mess around and don't have no Yeah,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: then it is everything. Yeah, well I bet you'll be
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: looking for yeah right now, all right, all right, so
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: let's talk about a girl, La La. We've been knowing
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: La La for a long long time. Um well, Laala
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: broke her silence on her divorce from Carmelo Anthony. They
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: were married for eleven years, filed for divorce back in June.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: As we know, Laala and Carmela shared a fourteen year
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: old son named Cayenne. Lala said that her divorce was
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: really really hard. Take a listen. I was bad because
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: it was public. I was bad because there were other
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: people involved. That was bad because there were allegations. It
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: got bad, and you know, I'm not a person to
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: ever call my business on social media. You know, so
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: many times you do want to say, oh, you guys
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: really want to know what happened. You want to hear
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: from me, but you hold it in. It's like Ohl
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: is doing good, she looked good on a Gramm. It's like, Na,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: that's hit me really hard. Oh yeah, d yeah, no.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: I felt. I felt for Laa because we've known for
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: a long time. That was like a little baby, yeah yeah.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Like she used to come on the radio after the
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: in La You know, it's nineteen years old, just a
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: kid with pink hair turned into a stunning week gorgeous, yeah,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: and a superstar really and um, she's really a kind person.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: I felt really bad for him because I like both
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: of them. I really did, you know, I was pulling
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: for family. But people don't know what's going on, and
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: people think because you were a celebrity, and like, you know,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: La La looked good on the ground. She was going
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: through some things, but it was public. You know. They
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: they couldn't even fix their stuff because it was so public.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: If there was any any repairing to do, they couldn't
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: do it because y'all was beating people up so bad
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: in the public that the controlls is rough. Man. I
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: felt sorry for and I felt I felt bad for
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: him because this decision he made, you know, and like
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: he's not a bad dude, man, he made a badass decision. Yeah,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: and he heard his wife. He hurt his fane. And
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Lalla says she doesn't think Steve that she'll ever get
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: married again, that she could ever marry again. She just
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: said she could not do it again. Oh well, that's
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: gonna be hard because they come in, they come she's
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: concentrating on her career, her son. You know, she's acting
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: in La La. She said that people DM her. On
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: the DM she said he'd be cutting in paste the
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: same messages to her and her friends. Come on down.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: That's whacking, So you write, Steve, they are covered for Yeah,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: you know, but she's still young, and you know, you
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: know you can say that now, but things may change
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: because she believes in love, so you know, don't give
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: a deserving of it. She's a great person, deserving of love.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: She was a ring this it. Oh wow, that's how
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: you feel though after Yeah, you feel that those are
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: real feelings, she said. A therapist told us to stop
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: hiring that. All right, we'll have more of the Steve
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show. Well, it's starting
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: to look a lot like COVID is putting a damper
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: on a second straight Thanksgiving. In a new survey, fifty
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: seven percent of people says that they're planning some kind
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: of virtual holiday that includes a video call, and fifty
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: five percent of people say they'll hit up multiple small
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: gatherings rather than one huge party like Thanksgiving normally is.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: But a friends Giving is looking even more popular than
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: ever among young people. Almost three it's some millennials and
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: gen Zers plan to attend to holiday gathering with friends.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Generation Z. Yeah, so you have you guys thought about
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Thanksgiving yet? I know it's kind of early, but it
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: is next month, and you know how quickly the holidays
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: get come upon us, They really come quickly. Yeah, Steve,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: you have a big family too, Well, my big family
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: got other families now. Yeah, you know, but you know
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: what I mean. You know my kids are grown now,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: so we kind of kind of freed up. But you know,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know what we're gonna be doing
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: if we're traveling or something. What about your nephew. I'm
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: testing the ass at the cover, but I'm going up gathering.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: I'm going up in your nose on the door. Get
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: out of my nose. I'm sorry doing If you don't,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: don't br Look if you don't, if you want to eat,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: you got to bring your nose. I'm just telling you
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: test right there. I'm testing the turkey too. I'm testing
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: its coming up Marv the Steve Harvey Morning Show at
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after right after this, you're listening Steve
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, we told you earlier it

- 1:17:49Speaker 1: want to just capture your essence. This is capturing your
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: essence right here, Carlin. Name of the poem is a

- 1:18:12Speaker 1: and what we should not say. You put the show
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: together with that day is no doubt. You stop us
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: with we ain't doing that before it come out of
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: our mouth. Every show needs someone like you to tighten
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: up our behind because if we said what we want
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: to say, we all be in an unemployment line. That
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: would be tommyh Jay Steve and myself and especially Jay

- 1:21:07Speaker 1: billion dollars, he gives all a mean a piece and
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: time me up here talking about he ain't enough. I
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: just want to say thank you for you got a billion.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: None ain't enough. You got a billion? But y'alla summon.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: What is my obligation to you? None? But I want
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: more key words none? Yeah, okay, let's get past that part.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Though I can't. It's very generous. No problems. All right,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: here we go, guys. These are my gloser remarks today.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: I want to uh remind you all, uh that where
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: you are now it's so temporary, and a lot of
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: people get stuck in the where they are now, you know,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: listen to me. It's like, if you take an hour
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: glass that has sand in it and you turn it
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: upside down, Well, there's a fat piece on every hour glass, right,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: There's a fat piece at the top, and it's a
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: fat piece at the bottom. There's this real skinny piece
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: in the middle. And when you turn the hour glass
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: upside down with the sand in it, it flows from
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: top to bottom. And what and what that represents is
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: all the sand that trickles down through the funnel and
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: gets to the bottom. All of that is time that
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: you spent, time that you had. That is the sand
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: of the past. Now there's a lot more, hopefully a
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: lot more sand at the top, right, But as you
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: get older, that time lessons because as you get that
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: sand coming down through the hour glass, the bottom feels
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: up because your past becomes bigger and bigger, and more
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: sand feels up your past. It's like, at sixty four,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I do realize that I have spent more time on
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: this earth than I have left. Probably, so the sand
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: in the top of my hour glass is smaller than
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: the sand that's in the bottom. But the sand that's
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: in the bottom hour glass is my past. That little
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: skinny piece in the middle where that sand is trickling through,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: that's all we have, folks. We just have that right there.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: It's called Now, there's nothing we can do with the
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: sand that's trickled through the little skinny part of the
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: hour glass and my creating the visual. Can you all
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: see what I'm saying, Yes, there's nothing you can do
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: about the sand, and at the bottom of that hour glass,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: that's your pass. The problem that most people do is
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: they spend all their time discussing their past, and all
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: it does, since that saying don't ever stop moving, all
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: it does is lessen the amount of saying that you
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: got left because you keep spending all your time talking
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: about the saying that's in the bottom of the hour glass.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: And most people get stuck right there, taking their moments
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: of now talking about their pass when they need to
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: be doing something with whatever saying they got left in
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: the top of that hour glass. Listen, y'all, don't lose
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: patience in the process. Don't get so tired of what
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: happened you own. You know I had a bad marriage,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: you know I broke up with soul and so you
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: know I ain't in love him. Oh he did me wrong.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: All that's in your pass? Yeah, no idea what God
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: has for you with that saying up in the top
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: of that hour glass. This could that's saying in the
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: top of that hour glass, that's coming through that little
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: funnel part can be the best years of your life
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: if you stop focusing on that damn saying at the bottom.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: I shall hope. I'm giving you the visual Are you
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: are getting the visuals that I'm trying to give you? Look, man,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: whatever time you got left could be the best time
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: of your life if you only stop talking about the
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: saying that's gone through the hour glass already, you ain't
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: doing nothing for yourself right there. You're accomplishing nothing. There
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: is absolutely nothing you can do about your pass. Stop
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: beating yourself up over the pass. I married the wrong person,
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: I got a divorce, I flunked out of school, I
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: was on drugs so long, I got locked up. My
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: girl left me, my man left me, my chip origian
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: ain't talking to me? What what? So? Can I tell
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: you something? Everybody got a pass. Everybody got one, and
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: stop letting people define you because of your pass. There
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: are people who are set up in your life to
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: only talk about the saying at the bottom of your
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: hour glass. I remember that time you did that on it.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Y'all still get people every now and then. I don't
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: know why he thinks he left his first wife. Dog.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Wait a minute, you know how long ago that was
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: what you're talking to me about that phone. God had
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: moved me past that, God had moved them past that.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: Everybody better off. But whatever you feel about me, you're
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: not gonna hold me to my past. Oh no, no, no, no,
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: no no no. I'm looking to my heavenly father for
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: my future, for everything he has for me right now.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: Give us this day our daily bread. I'm looking for
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: right now and preparing doing whatever I can right now
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: today to make better decisions. So much tomorrow be better
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: than my past. I invite you to do the same.
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: Quit Where about that sand in the bottom of your
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: hour glass? It's gone through the whole in all of this.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: Thank you, have a nice day. God willing to see
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: y'all tomorrow. And I'm being ignorant for all. Steve every
