Ephesians | Lesson 23: The three-fold purpose of Paul's calling
Ephesians 3:8-12In this passage Paul tells his readers the three reasons for his apostolic calling by God. We previously saw his first reason, the missionary purpose. In this lesson we see the second reason, which is the didactic purpose, that is, the teaching purpose, "to bring to light" the phenomenal truths and even mysteries of the gospel. The third purpose, perhaps a surprising motivation, was to show the heavenly realm God's wisdom through the church!
