- 0:00Hey everybody, welcome back to the Lila Rose Show.
- 0:02We are here live in studio doing another live here.
- 0:05We're going to be joined shortly by the very great father Robert
- 0:08Spitzer. Very excited about that
- 0:09conversation we're going to have shortly here.
- 0:12But I first wanted to start out by addressing a couple recent
- 0:16news items that came through came my way.
- 0:17One of them is a clip that several of you actually all sent
- 0:21me as well as a few friends of Candace Owens doing a show
- 0:25recently, I think this week. And she mentioned myself.
- 0:28So I wanted to play that clip and just share some of my
- 0:32thoughts in response to what Candace said.
- 0:34Lila Rose, right Catholic does this whole speaks about and
- 0:39she's always been very lovely to me, speaks about the pro-life
- 0:43movement and converted to Catholicism and got a story
- 0:47there. I met her through Marissa.
- 0:49It's kind of the same people funding both.
- 0:52And it was kind of interesting, like when I would see Lila kind
- 0:57of jump on the attacking the crisis King or trying to
- 1:00rationalize why we shouldn't say crisis King all the time.
- 1:02And she was like a lone Catholic that was doing that.
- 1:05And I then got super interested in her when she messaged me
- 1:11about Andrew Tate and she had someone on her show that was
- 1:15Andrew Tate's one of the accusers lawyers.
- 1:17And I was like, this is nothing to do with the pro-life
- 1:19movement. What are you doing?
- 1:20I asked her and she's like, well, and that woman that
- 1:22attacked me and took her Carlson, I said, that's weird.
- 1:25Like that's kind of random. You're supposed to be the
- 1:27pro-life person and you're talking about and you're talking
- 1:30to Andrew Colvett's of of part the party to that lawsuit.
- 1:34You're talking to her lawyer. Why on your show, why are you
- 1:38the first show she would pick? Why doesn't she go on like CNN
- 1:40or Fox News? And I looked and of course,
- 1:42yeah, you got military, military all over of that background.
- 1:45And I'm going, is anything not military?
- 1:48I'm looking at Barry Weiss. So this was a segment from a
- 1:55show that Candace was doing this week where she went through a
- 1:58bunch of people in a line and was saying that they all had
- 2:00military connections. And the insinuation, sort of the
- 2:03background on all of this was sort of a negative insinuation.
- 2:05They're negatively connected to the military and somehow they're
- 2:09not to be trusted because of this.
- 2:11And you know, I, I just want to say that I was disappointed to
- 2:15see this from Candace because I'm very proud to be married to
- 2:18my husband. Many of you may know that he
- 2:21served in the US military, and I'm very proud of that.
- 2:24And I think military members should be given actually our
- 2:28respect. And I'm very grateful that my
- 2:30husband served. He no longer is in the military,
- 2:32but he did serve and I'm proud of him.
- 2:34So I was just disappointed to see this insinuation that, you
- 2:38know, bringing him into this very randomly again, I, I don't
- 2:42think I've been in touch with Candace very much a little bit.
- 2:45And for her to just kind of suddenly randomly do this was
- 2:48very surprising to me and of course, surprising to get those
- 2:51messages. And then another thing that was
- 2:53just a bit odd to me was this insinuation that it's odd for me
- 2:58to talk about anything other than pro-life or, or abortion
- 3:01specifically. And anyone who watches this show
- 3:04for the last over 2 years knows what we talk about on the show.
- 3:07And certainly, certainly pro-life and abortion is
- 3:10absolutely essential. We talk about that a lot.
- 3:12But you'll know that we talk about so many other issues,
- 3:15spirituality, health, faith, politics, so much more.
- 3:19And so it, it, it's, it's sad to me when I see these insinuations
- 3:24that are made not just about myself, but perhaps other people
- 3:27and a narrative that seems to be suggested when it is so far from
- 3:32reality. So wanted to leave it at that.
- 3:34And I just want to say I love Candace.
- 3:35I wish her the very best. And if she ever her wants to
- 3:38talk to me, she is more than welcome to reach out and I would
- 3:41be very happy to chat with her. So that is what I wanted to say
- 3:45there. I do want to also address
- 3:47something from JD Vance that happened at a TPUSA tour stop
- 3:52yesterday. He made some comments on life
- 3:54that I do want to address. So let's pull up that clip next.
- 3:56There's a great question that he was asked by one of the students
- 3:59at Ole Miss. Let's take a listen here.
- 4:01Ole Miss Rebels for life. And I myself as the president am
- 4:11100% pro-life. And I know you've stated you
- 4:14being Catholic, that you in the past you've stated that you're
- 4:18100% pro-life. But since joining the
- 4:21presidential campaign as the VP, you've kind of wavered how you
- 4:26see abortion. So I'm just wondering what your
- 4:29stance is right now. And do you think that someone
- 4:33else's right to liberty Trump's someone else's right to life?
- 4:38Well, first of all, I, I appreciate your question and I
- 4:42appreciate the work that you do. You asked the question, do I
- 4:44think somebody else's right to liberty trump somebody else's
- 4:47right to life? No, no, I do not.
- 4:49I in fact do not believe that. Now you said I'm going to take
- 4:52issue with something you said just the premise of the
- 4:55question, which is that I've wavered on the pro-life issue.
- 4:58I really do believe that the president has been the most
- 5:00pro-life president in the history of the United States of
- 5:03America. Now, that said, there are two
- 5:06things that I think we have to keep in mind here.
- 5:08Now, 1 is the very, very hard question of, you know, when we
- 5:13talk about our abortion policy, there are some very, very
- 5:16difficult educations. There are cases where you've
- 5:18got, you know, an 11 year old girl who was raped who it would
- 5:21be unsafe for her to bring the baby to term.
- 5:24You've got situations where, you know, bringing a baby to term
- 5:27would cause serious bodily harm, maybe, maybe death for the
- 5:31mother. That's one of the reasons why we
- 5:33believe in the exception in this, in these cases where you
- 5:36have, again, they're edge cases, they're rare.
- 5:39I think can pause here. So this was an opportunity.
- 5:42And again, I I have a lot of love for JD Vance and I really
- 5:46wish him well. I pray every day, as we all
- 5:48should for the administration. But I think here for him to
- 5:51respond, to say, yes, I believe that that someone's right to
- 5:54life, the babies does trump someone else's right to liberty.
- 5:57You know, I get to be free of parenthood.
- 5:59That's the pro-life dichotomy, right?
- 6:00Should you advocate for the mother to be able to end the
- 6:04life of a baby at will for her own freedoms or let that baby
- 6:06live? But he goes right to these hard
- 6:08cases as they're sometimes called her exceptions and saying
- 6:11we need exceptions. And so he's saying at the one
- 6:13hand he's saying he doesn't compromise, but then in the next
- 6:15breath he's immediately compromising and saying, well,
- 6:18in these cases he's indicating abortion may be acceptable or we
- 6:22should give it a pass, etcetera. The pro-life position is that
- 6:26every single life has value, worth and rights.
- 6:30It doesn't matter how you were conceived.
- 6:32If you were conceived after sexual violence.
- 6:34It doesn't matter if you have a disability.
- 6:35It doesn't matter if you're lower income.
- 6:37It doesn't matter any other standard.
- 6:39You have value and you should be fought for and protected.
- 6:43And I've seen bold leadership out of this administration on
- 6:45other issues where they're unafraid of people yelling at
- 6:48them and, you know, they don't worry about what people think of
- 6:50them. And that's what I would love to
- 6:52see on the issue of life, because we're not just talking
- 6:54about, you know, something like taxes and, you know, you know,
- 6:57my, my ability to make more money or my ability to do, you
- 7:01know, whatever I want to do with my life.
- 7:02It's about the lives of children, whether or not they're
- 7:05going to actually be able to live or die.
- 7:07Abortion is a black and white issue.
- 7:08It is a life or death issue. And these children conceived
- 7:12after rape, children with disability doesn't matter.
- 7:14They deserve to live. JD Vance, also Vice President
- 7:18Vance, indicated that in some cases abortion is medically
- 7:20necessary. That is also not true.
- 7:22This is a misconception that has been pushed by the pro abortion
- 7:26side to justify abortion on demand, and it's not true.
- 7:29There are thousands of medical professionals who are pro-life
- 7:31who say you can care for them both.
- 7:33You can love both Mama and baby. And in a very rare immediate
- 7:38emergency situation that's life threatening for a mother, you
- 7:41may do an early delivery of the baby, but that is not an
- 7:44abortion. In that situation.
- 7:45You're trying to help that baby still live and try to give that
- 7:48baby the opportunity to live. You're not going in and killing
- 7:50that baby in an abortion. So I think it was a opportunity
- 7:54here that was a bit of a miss for the vice president.
- 7:56Unfortunately, he did end strong in the clip.
- 7:59So he ended by saying basically he basically at the end of the
- 8:02clip references abortion as a form of human sacrifice and
- 8:06talks about how ancient civilizations that had brothels
- 8:09would find the bones of dead prostitute mothers alongside the
- 8:12dead bodies of their little children.
- 8:14She was kind of talking about as if abortion's human sacrifice.
- 8:17So that was a strong ending. And he talks about Christianity,
- 8:20but then he started with the so I just want to encourage the
- 8:23vice president. I understand the administration
- 8:25has has a compromise on this. I get that people want to see
- 8:28bold leadership. I think bold leadership is
- 8:30attractive, It's visionary. And I just encourage JD Vance, I
- 8:33think is an incredible career in front of him to just hold fast
- 8:36to 100% pro-life. I think it will invigorate the
- 8:39base and he could be the best president we've ever had.
- 8:41So just a just a quick note there for Vice President Vance.
- 8:45All right, the best part of today's show is we're doing a
- 8:48live special Halloween episode with one of my all time favorite
- 8:51guests, Father Robert Spitzer of the Magic Center.
- 8:55He is here in studio with me. Here he is.
- 8:57Here's the great Father Robert Spitzer and we're going to talk
- 9:00about spiritual warfare and Halloween.
- 9:04Welcome to the show, Father. Thanks so much, Lila.
- 9:06Great to be with you again. So glad you're here.
- 9:10So first, people who haven't met you yet, tell us what Who is
- 9:13Father Spitzer and the Magic Center?
- 9:14What is the Magic Center? Magic Center basically provides
- 9:19materials. It could be for teachers in
- 9:21middle school or high school to get evidence for God, Jesus,
- 9:26etcetera. Our whole purpose is to turn the
- 9:28rising tide of unbelief in her culture with science based good
- 9:32rational evidence that our students can truly see is
- 9:37convincing, probative. And so we not only give
- 9:41materials for that, we we have the modest AI app where people
- 9:45can just go to that app and get any answer they want in the
- 9:48confluence of science, reason, faith, scripture, morality,
- 9:52etcetera, get the answers to their questions.
- 9:54We also have a variety of other things that we do, confirmation
- 9:58programs especially, and of course a big website and do a
- 10:04lot of video programming and have my own television program
- 10:08at EWTN trying to to promote all of these things so that our
- 10:14young people have a fighting chance to not only maintain
- 10:18their faith, but to evangelize in an increasingly secularized
- 10:22culture. Amazing.
- 10:24What do you think about Halloween?
- 10:28There's been a bit of a or there's always this controversy,
- 10:30but should Christians celebrate Halloween?
- 10:32Halloween is demonic versus Halloween has Christian
- 10:35tradition, and it's an opportunity to pray for souls
- 10:38and. Well, Halloween started off as
- 10:41you know, All Hallows Eve. And so, you know, essentially it
- 10:47was like the vigil of Mass for the, you know, All Saints Day,
- 10:51which would occur the day after. So the idea would be of course,
- 10:57to to pray for people and to pray specifically through the
- 11:02intercession of holy people. And so it did start off in a in
- 11:07a very good way. And then of course, all these
- 11:11various, let's say add-ons began to occur, which were really from
- 11:17the secular culture. It it still hasn't lost its
- 11:21significance. There is still an all hallowed
- 11:24Eve's, you know, mass uniform before, you know, we have our
- 11:29All Saints Day. But you know, all the costumes
- 11:32that that have been going on, you know, let's face facts, you
- 11:37know that most of it is harmless in my view, trick or treating,
- 11:40et cetera, with, you know, little kids, you know, having
- 11:45their their costumes and candy. Some of those artificial food
- 11:49dyes in the candy, though, not so.
- 11:50Not so. Not so good.
- 11:52But I, I have her people say that there is an, A spike in a
- 11:55cult activity around this time because people just love to love
- 11:59to honor the devil. I mean, it's, that's the demonic
- 12:02culture that we're living in and world that we're living in.
- 12:04And that's a real, that is a reality.
- 12:06But that doesn't mean that there isn't a Christian tradition of
- 12:10praying for the dead, praying for souls as well as celebrating
- 12:14the Saints in heaven. And we should do that tradition
- 12:17laughing in the face of evil, because Christ has conquered
- 12:19all. Well, that absolutely is true
- 12:21and Christ has conquered evil completely.
- 12:24And so we can laugh in the face of it.
- 12:26But surely, you know, the things that are done and, you know, in
- 12:31a cult practice that's terrible for people and people you know,
- 12:35but just start to get into these games like CC or the Ouija board
- 12:40or seemingly harmless, but are not by any means harmless.
- 12:45They get into these things and the next thing you know, they
- 12:48were inviting spirits into their own lives, which could cause an
- 12:51infestation, that is to say, a haunting of some sort.
- 12:54Sometimes it causes oppression, so in a kind of an external
- 12:59oppression by evil or even sometimes possession.
- 13:03And then of course that's that's a, you know, a terrible thing.
- 13:06And there are many cases of, of people who have been obviously,
- 13:11you know, bothered by this and they, they kind of get into it
- 13:15because somebody teaches them or co-ops them into a group.
- 13:19But boy, when you start inviting spirits into your life, you can
- 13:23be sure nothing good is going to come out of this, no matter how
- 13:26you you portray it. And you know, the, the idea of
- 13:30going to cemeteries on Halloween or convoking Ouija board
- 13:34sessions and Halloween, it's a terrible thing.
- 13:38And all it's going to do is truly bring upon you a darkness
- 13:42and a trouble you do not want. Just trust me, you do not want
- 13:48that. And, and anybody who's been part
- 13:51of exorcisms or deliverance ministry can tell you these,
- 13:54these beings when they get a grip on you, I think can get a
- 13:57grip on you really terrifically strongly.
- 14:01And so sometimes the exorcisms will be required or you know,
- 14:06you're going to have to have multiple house blessings to sort
- 14:08of eradicate these, these spirits that you invite into
- 14:13your premises. It's interesting because when
- 14:15there's a real possession, it's inexplicable.
- 14:18People are freaked out of their minds.
- 14:20It can't be solved by like, you know, oh, they're just
- 14:22schizophrenic and just take some drugs or they just have some
- 14:25neurotypical behaviors. It's like, this is otherworldly.
- 14:28This is scary. You call a Catholic priest, and
- 14:31that's not to say any Christian can't pray for, you know,
- 14:35someone to be covered in, in the blood of Jesus and to be saved.
- 14:39But you really want an exorcist there who can command authority
- 14:43in the name of Jesus. And I, so I, I guess that's the
- 14:46first question I have for you about exorcism, Father Spitzer,
- 14:49is what do you consider the authority of the priest in the
- 14:52role of exorcism versus the spiritual battle authority that
- 14:56every Christian in the name of Jesus can exercise?
- 15:00Yeah, just to affirm what you're saying, the name of Jesus is
- 15:05exceedingly powerful. And so if, if you just call upon
- 15:09Jesus or you actually, you command a spirit in the name of
- 15:15Jesus to say begone Satan and, and you just say that 10 times,
- 15:20often times, you know, people who, you know, just are visited,
- 15:24let's say by an evil spirit. I, I don't know if these things
- 15:28happen to you, but certainly to many priests, of course, it, it,
- 15:32it does happen, you know, or if you're trying to live a holy
- 15:35life, you can expect, you know, to get the old pressure on the
- 15:38chest or the wake up call at 3:00 in the morning or something
- 15:42of that nature. I mean, obviously the evil
- 15:45spirit tries temptations of various kinds, tries all all the
- 15:50deadly sins that that he can, you know, bring upon you.
- 15:54But at the end of the day, you know, he'll try and definitely
- 15:58put the pressure on. And so you can see how this can
- 16:03really have an effect. But the name of Jesus so
- 16:05powerful as you've already said it, it really does normally have
- 16:10an effect on driving the evil spirit away.
- 16:12I mean, I frankly, I just say in the in the name of Jesus begun
- 16:15say about. Jesus have mercy on me.
- 16:17I think that's also it just like if you're feeling stressed or
- 16:20under pressure, whether it's a sense of the of the supernatural
- 16:23or the, you know, the demonic, even just Lord Jesus Christ, son
- 16:26of God, have mercy on me. I feel like is another very
- 16:29powerful. Very, very powerful.
- 16:31But anyway, just the name of Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
- 16:34That does it. It really drives evil away.
- 16:37The priest though, does have an extraordinary ministry.
- 16:40It goes back to the time of Jesus.
- 16:42And you can see in all the Gospels, well, certainly Mark,
- 16:45Matthew, the synoptic Gospels and Luke that Jesus does give
- 16:49this power of exorcism to his apostles.
- 16:52They go out and of course they come back with that, right?
- 16:56Wow. Even the even the demons, you
- 16:58know, are, are subject to us in your name and and they're just,
- 17:02you know, Jesus. Well, don't be so surprised at
- 17:04that. But of course they are subject.
- 17:07I mean, just the name of Jesus. And these demons are being
- 17:10driven away by the apostles, but they're given that extraordinary
- 17:13ministry to cast out, you know, demons that have been invited
- 17:19into a person, right. And normally it's, it's
- 17:22definitely somebody has been doing something to invoke or
- 17:26convoke a demon to come into their lives.
- 17:29And it's at that point you probably need the charism that's
- 17:34given by the church, which goes back, of course, to the time of
- 17:37Jesus. And that charism is to persist
- 17:42in the exorcism and to use the right of exorcism of the Roman
- 17:46church to cast out demons. And it is effective in most
- 17:51cases. You know, in the case of one of
- 17:53the cases, Julia, that I could speak about, she was a high
- 17:57priestess and she voluntarily stopped coming to the exorcisms.
- 18:02However, I know it would have been effective if if she had
- 18:05not. I know there's some cases that
- 18:07we're going to get into where you've studied both
- 18:10theologically and almost from a certainly a facts based
- 18:14perspective of what happened in this case and an exorcism and
- 18:16kind of taking it apart, like what is what is actually going
- 18:19on in an exorcism. We actually have done several
- 18:22shows with exorcists and they've been wonderful.
- 18:25And I think what I want to do with you, Father, because you
- 18:28are this great brilliant, one of the most brilliant minds of
- 18:30today is really unpack, Yeah, not quite, but early unpack.
- 18:36What is the almost the science of an exorcism?
- 18:38What is it? What are the components?
- 18:40Before we do that though, I want to thank our amazing sponsors
- 18:43for today's episode, Presidio Healthcare and our favorite

- 20:522 very famous cases that Father Spitzer is going to walk us
- 20:56through and what we can glean as people of faith walking into the
- 21:01world of spiritual warfare, which it exists.
- 21:03The spiritual is, is more present than the physical.
- 21:06We don't even see it with our eyes, but it is just as real and
- 21:11it is eternity before us and around us.
- 21:13So there's two cases we're going to talk about Father.
- 21:16One of them is Robert Robbie Manheim.
- 21:18And in the case of Julia the high priestess, these are
- 21:21documented cases of very famous exorcisms in the Jesuit
- 21:24tradition. Tell me, let's start with the
- 21:26high priestess Julia. Who was she?
- 21:28Well, she was a case of Doctor Richard Gallagher.
- 21:32He wrote a book called Demonic Foes, and he's been a consultant
- 21:36for exorcisms in the New York Diocese for long, long time.
- 21:40He, he has certainly studied at Columbia and, you know, has his
- 21:44practice out of New York University and has done
- 21:48multiple, multiple exorcisms with several different
- 21:52exercises. In any case, one of the cases
- 21:54that he had was the case of this woman who, you know, she was a
- 21:59high priestess and she was a provider of aborted fetuses for
- 22:04satanic ceremonies and. Pardon, it's that's crazy.
- 22:10It's insane. Absolutely.
- 22:13The, the quote UN quote, you know, the false sacrament of the
- 22:18of, of the Satanist. It's, it's terrible.
- 22:22And she was a provider, she, she rose to the, the point of high
- 22:26priestess. And for that she was given
- 22:29multiple privileges. She, she had, of course, the
- 22:32capability of remote viewing. Dr. Gallagher actually witnessed
- 22:36it, you know, so, you know, one time she was talking with a, a
- 22:39Jesuit who was, was actually interviewing her for a, from a
- 22:44psychiatric perspective. And she's describing, you know,
- 22:48the, the red curtains in his office, et cetera.
- 22:50And, and Doctor Gallagher, well, you're talking to him over the
- 22:54phone, right? And she has, yes, but I can see
- 22:58it all. And of course, you know, she had
- 23:01the capacity of course, to, to do things.
- 23:04Sorry. Sorry to interrupt, but who
- 23:06could see it all? Oh, Julia could could see it all
- 23:09So. Julia was given a special power
- 23:11demonically to see something else happening in real time.
- 23:14Oh, yeah, and to cause problems like the night before Doctor
- 23:18Gallagher was going to see her. You know, she has two.
- 23:23He had two cats and and you know, the cats are sleeping away
- 23:27peacefully. All of a sudden they just start
- 23:30up and just start fighting and screeching and you know, I got
- 23:33going absolutely crazy, separated the cats and the cats
- 23:36still were going crazy. And then the next day when she
- 23:38came in, she goes. How'd you like those casts?
- 23:42Stop it. I'm not kidding.
- 23:44So I but I got to ask before we get into what actually happened
- 23:47during the exorcism with this, with this possessed person who
- 23:50is actively practicing the occult, right?
- 23:52Oh. Yeah, absolutely.
- 23:53Satanist ultimately right at high priestess, but I I think
- 23:57this is also very comforting for for Christians and for all
- 23:59people to know that Satan is not all powerful.
- 24:02Obviously it only has a little bit of power that God has
- 24:05provided him. And yes, he can do a lot of
- 24:07damage, but tell us about the limitations of Satan of, of
- 24:11Satan because he's not omniscient and he doesn't see
- 24:15the future, right? That is correct.
- 24:17So he can, he can act like he knows more than he knows because
- 24:20he's he's the power, he's the king of he's the accuser.
- 24:23He loves insinuating stuff, suggesting stuff.
- 24:26He likes to pretend like he knows everything when he
- 24:29doesn't. So what are the limit, the
- 24:31limits of Satan's power? Well, there's basically several
- 24:35major limits. I mean, first of all, Satan has
- 24:38been completely, you know, conquered by Christ, as you've
- 24:43already said in the program. And so Christ, you know, he goes
- 24:47through 5 areas to defeat Satan, right?
- 24:50That's one of his principal projects in coming, you know,
- 24:53the, the Incarnate Son of God into the world.
- 24:55So he has this battle with Satan in the desert.
- 24:58He emerges victorious. Satan then is subject to the
- 25:02power of Christ. After that.
- 25:04Then of course he Christ moves into a prolific ministry of
- 25:07exorcisms. And of course, then he gives his
- 25:11apostles of the power to exorcise demons in his name.
- 25:16And then he starts this church which is going to, you know,
- 25:21continue to promulgate and and perpetuate this power of
- 25:25exorcism going forward. But the 5th and most vital thing
- 25:29is that Christ conquers Satan in his passion and death and
- 25:32resurrection. Once that complete self gift,
- 25:36that gift of self and unconditional love occurs, that
- 25:40becomes the power for every second act of sacrament of
- 25:43reconciliation, the power behind the every, every time we
- 25:46consecrate the whole Eucharist, et cetera.
- 25:49You know, this is this comes from that one unrestricted act
- 25:54of self sacrificial love on the cross.
- 25:57Satan is completely powerless and and he doesn't even know
- 26:02that Jesus has already turned the tables on him at the Last
- 26:04Supper. He's, you know, promoting Judas
- 26:07to go for it. He's, you know, he's promoting,
- 26:10you know, the high priest to, you know, you know, kill him and
- 26:14so forth and so on. He's got he's really got things
- 26:17going and he's turning things. And then Jesus, you know, comes
- 26:21with that Psalm 22 as his dying words right to my God, my God,
- 26:26why have you forsaken me? But that of course, is not a
- 26:29Psalm of giving up or, you know, grievance or or despair It It's
- 26:35the exactly the opposite. Psalm 22, The, you know, Jewish
- 26:38people quoted the whole Psalm by the first line of the Psalm.
- 26:42They didn't have a numeration system at the time.
- 26:45So of course you quote the, that first line.
- 26:47It refers to the whole Psalm, which is a Psalm of victory.
- 26:51You know, the, the, the person who is being persecuted says, I
- 26:55know, you know, you're, you're going to make me emerge
- 26:57victorious. I trust in you.
- 26:59It's a Psalm of trust. Then there's a recounting in
- 27:02Psalm 22 of something really akin to to, you know, Jesus is
- 27:07crucifixion. My tongue is stuck to the roof
- 27:09of my mouth. They're piercing my hands and my
- 27:11feet, you know, and they've numbered all my bones, etcetera,
- 27:14etcetera. The, the, the description, you
- 27:17know, that's there. And then at the end, there's the
- 27:19universal proclamation of salvation through the death of
- 27:23the innocent, a servant. But what's going to happen is
- 27:27that this, you know, power and love is going to come into the
- 27:30world, not just for the present generation of Jewish peoples,
- 27:34but Gentile peoples for everybody.
- 27:36It's going to be all the people have gone to into the world of
- 27:40shit. Oh, the land of the dead, You
- 27:42know, the, the ones who are righteous are going to be raised
- 27:44up. She's going to and of course all
- 27:46the people in the future believe in Jesus will of course come to
- 27:50him and be victorious. So of course Satan's like, I
- 27:54mean, I get you can just see Jesus on the cross spouting, you
- 27:57know, literally this, this Psalm really saying and sincerely as a
- 28:01prayer. And all of a sudden he's getting
- 28:03to the end and Satan is going, Oh, no, you know, I literally,
- 28:09I, I have just given him the occasion to do an unrestricted
- 28:14act of love which can overpower all sin for all time.
- 28:18Blew up in his face. Blew up in his face.
- 28:20Checkmate. And of course, that's so.
- 28:23Cool about the faith. Like evil just tries to do evil
- 28:27things and then just like checkmate checkmate.
- 28:29Like evil's catch. Caught in his own snare
- 28:32constantly like they lay the trap.
- 28:34It's like that old, you know, cartoon where there's the
- 28:36Roadrunner. The what was it, the Roadrunner?
- 28:39And who was the other cartoon character you know?
- 28:41Coyote. Why?
- 28:42Yeah, Coyote. Cannot get him, he just can't.
- 28:44It's like, it's so, it's so fun. I mean, it's so beautiful.
- 28:49Thanks be to God and His mercy. Oh yeah, that delimits to Satan
- 28:52forever. So Satan is subject to the power
- 28:55of exorcism. I mean, you know, before an
- 28:57exorcism, very commonly of the objective is to have somebody go
- 29:03to, you know, the sacrament of reconciliation sincerely and
- 29:06then try to get them to restart receiving the Holy Eucharist
- 29:11faithful, you know, sincerely, faithfully, worthily to to, to
- 29:14do that as many times as possible.
- 29:17And of course, if you do that before the exorcism, all the
- 29:20better, because the exorcism has a much better the power.
- 29:23The power of the Eucharist. So in this case of Julia, so she
- 29:27was possessed, she was an active practitioner of the occult.
- 29:30Why was she even going through with an exorcism?
- 29:32Why did she want to be exercised of the of the devil?
- 29:36Two reasons. Of course, she was fearing for
- 29:39her eternal life. You know, she would tell, you
- 29:41know, a Doctor Gallagher. Well, you know, you know, I, I
- 29:45don't think Hell's going to be, you know, pure torment.
- 29:48You know, I mean, I, I think it's going to be a, a group of
- 29:51people who are like believers, But there, there could be some
- 29:53things, you know, that are dark that that could happen, you
- 29:57know, and you can see that she, she's very, you know, obviously
- 30:02disturbed by what her future would be.
- 30:05And she also has figured out, you know, she, she's taking
- 30:09these gifts, right? She has telepathic, you know,
- 30:13capabilities. She has remote viewing
- 30:15capabilities. She can cause shift to people
- 30:19from afar. She can hear, you know, and
- 30:22interfere with a telephone call or she's not even in proximity.
- 30:27And Dr. Gallagher was calling the the Exorcist to talk about
- 30:30plans for the next day. She would come on with, you
- 30:34know, a hiss and so forth and so on.
- 30:36She just pop into the call. She pop into the call with her
- 30:39demonic voice and interrupt things and.
- 30:42So so she was possessed, but she also was afraid of Satan, even
- 30:46though she had invited him in. Now that he it was in, even
- 30:49though she had these special powers, she was terrified of
- 30:51what the consequence would be in her eternal soul.
- 30:54She seeks out this priest and an exorcist, and then what happens?
- 30:59Is she Catholic, by the way? This woman?
- 31:01She was baptized Catholic, but she had left the church.
- 31:05What year is this roughly by? Pretty recent actually.
- 31:08I, I'm going to just say 1980s maybe.
- 31:12So somewhere in that neighborhood, so maybe a little
- 31:16later than that. But in any case, forgot he
- 31:19didn't indicate it. But she, she basically, you
- 31:23know, they get to the point, you know, where they're they they've
- 31:26done the first round of exorcisms and, you know, they're
- 31:29riding in the car, Julie is in the back and Oh my gosh, you
- 31:33know, all these demons are appearing on the windshield, so
- 31:35forth and so on and nearly crashes the car because of, you
- 31:39know, just these demonic powers that are controlling it.
- 31:43But finally, of course, you know, she, she starts saying,
- 31:45well, you know, maybe I want to slow down the exorcism thing,
- 31:50you know, and, and you know, they were asking her, what are
- 31:53you afraid of your coven? Are you afraid of your, you
- 31:56know, your, your group of fellow Satan worshippers?
- 32:00And she did admit, you know, that she was, she was scared of
- 32:02them, that they had a vast power.
- 32:05They probably knew what was going on and, and they could
- 32:08punish her, you know, so she was also scared of that.
- 32:12But does the the exorcisms proceeded?
- 32:16All of a sudden one day she stops and there's just no
- 32:21explanation. She stops showing up.
- 32:23She stops showing up. So sad.
- 32:25So sad. So you know, it was one of those
- 32:27things were probably either she got caught up, you know, by her
- 32:35coven or by her group of people that fellow Satan worshippers.
- 32:40One way or another they brought her back in.
- 32:43But she said she definitely, you know, was, was feeling, you
- 32:49know, the, the, the pain of, of going through this exorcism.
- 32:53And you know, the, the on the phone, for example, when you
- 32:56when Doctor Gallagher was talking to the exorcist on the
- 32:59phone, you know, the voices that were coming on is she belongs to
- 33:03us. So she gave herself to us.
- 33:06She belongs to us. You're, you're not getting her
- 33:09ever. But.
- 33:10You know, do we know what happened to?
- 33:12Her. No, we do not.
- 33:13So she, she just chose to not continue to go through with the
- 33:17exorcism and, and Doctor Gallagher is, is reporting this
- 33:21because he's basically expressing what the visual
- 33:26manifestations can look like. Yes, but he also.
- 33:29And possession. And he's also trying to say, you
- 33:32know, if you get far enough in the occult, it's not easy to
- 33:37break away because of course, an exorcism has to be voluntary.
- 33:42There has to, you know, the person you know, has to
- 33:44cooperate with it. And so in the case of another
- 33:48case, I'll talk about with you, Robbie Manheim, you know, you
- 33:52know, if he didn't cooperate, you know it, it's almost
- 33:56impossible because the whole matter is of human free choice.
- 34:00So if she, she didn't, you know, she either she is caught up by
- 34:04the coven or, you know, she's just overwhelmed.
- 34:09Obviously the evil spirits knew she was going for this exorcism,
- 34:12probably told the people in the in the coven that that she was
- 34:16not to be trusted and maybe they pulled her back in.
- 34:20But no, there's there's no unknown end to the story.
- 34:24She just but the lesson of the story is you, the devil promised
- 34:30plenty of gifts. You know, this remote viewing,
- 34:33this ability to call us all, this mission from afar to all
- 34:37these things, you know, give you the, you know, Doctor Gallagher
- 34:41was a witness to all of it. But at the same time, you're
- 34:43going to pay. And it's hard to break away.
- 34:46But there have been several people who have practice
- 34:50Satanism on a high level who have broken away.
- 34:53And you can, you know, just look on the Internet, you can see
- 34:57some of these people who are now are doing the opposite ministry,
- 35:01helping other people to break out of the occult, to break out
- 35:04of these things, you know, and to, to bring a priest alone can,
- 35:09can do the Roman rite of exorcism.
- 35:11So essentially to bring them to a priest and to to help them out
- 35:15so. So when this case of Julian
- 35:18right now, folks tuning in, right now we're talking about
- 35:20exorcisms with Father Robert Spitzer.
- 35:23We're talking through some famous cases and some of the
- 35:25hallmarks of exorcism when they succeed, when they don't.
- 35:28We're just talking about this woman who was considered a high
- 35:31priestess in the occult or the Church of what she called, did
- 35:34they call it the Church of Satan or how would she call it?
- 35:37So the Church of Satan and she ended up regretting at least
- 35:42temporarily, her engagement of the evil 1 because it was
- 35:46fearful, yeah, fearful of eternal Hellfire,
- 35:49understandably, and also just it being completely crazy in your
- 35:52life. And then but she ended up
- 35:54stopping the exorcism ministry with this priest.
- 35:58She stopped going. And she had expressed before you
- 36:00were saying that she was feeling pressure perhaps by her coven of
- 36:05other witches and doubts about if she could should continue the
- 36:08process. That's right.
- 36:10It's so tragic. It's tragic because I, I think
- 36:14obviously Doctor Gallagher felt the same way.
- 36:15It's just like there, she, she was there and then she wasn't,
- 36:20you know, but she obviously was trying to wrestle with the
- 36:25power. That was very great indeed.
- 36:26But she could have turned to Christ and she could have said,
- 36:31you know, Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a Sinner.
- 36:35She could have done that. And of course, you know, she,
- 36:38she did that in cooperation with the exorcist and kept going.
- 36:42She could have been freed from that demonic force because this
- 36:47has happened many, many times before.
- 36:50So and including, you know, like Robbie Mannheim or other cases
- 36:54that Doctor Gallagher mentions like Alice and so forth.
- 36:58So Robbie, Robbie Mannheim, Right.
- 37:01This is a more hopeful case. Yeah.
- 37:03Well, yes, we have a happier ending with this one.
- 37:06So A. Lot of crazy stuff in between,
- 37:09but yes. And before you share that about
- 37:11this case, just as another lesson learned from the Julia
- 37:14case, I think one of the things that you said is very beautiful
- 37:16is that we have free will and that anyone can call in the name
- 37:21of Jesus and he is faithful to answer.
- 37:22So there was, there's always hope.
- 37:24Anybody who's feeling possession, oppression,
- 37:27anything, or they're just committing really bad things in
- 37:29their life. Maybe they're caught in a
- 37:31habitual habit of very serious sin, addiction, pornography, you
- 37:36know, just constant narcissistic lying insinuations, whatever it
- 37:40is, they're just, you know, not on a good path themselves.
- 37:43Anyone, all of us can be saved. And that is such a hope for us
- 37:48individually and for the people that we love.
- 37:49So that is of the foundational principle of our faith.
- 37:53And of course, exorcism ministry, we wouldn't try if.
- 37:55Couldn't succeed that that's right and and that that free
- 37:59choice is going to be absolutely necessary and for me calling
- 38:02upon the name of Christ is going to be very, very necessary.
- 38:06In the case of Robbie it did happen.
- 38:08So you know, they they got him there, but but in the case of
- 38:12Julia, she she just couldn't put push it.
- 38:14Over what happened with Robbie fathers it's.
- 38:16There, well, he was a young boy, about 14 years old.
- 38:20And you know, initially she, you know, he was a kind of a loner
- 38:24kid. By the way, Thomas Allen has all
- 38:27of this depicted in his book called Possessed.
- 38:31And the full diary of the five Jesuits that were involved in
- 38:35the exorcism in Saint Louis is all there, you know, when in in
- 38:40that book possessed. So he puts it at the appendix
- 38:42there at the end. So you can actually read the
- 38:45notes of Father Bishop, who was the chief exorcist.
- 38:49And in the well, you, he, he was the person who did the, the
- 38:52diary. So you can actually see that
- 38:54there in, in Thomas Allen's book.
- 38:56Furthermore, it was that was the exorcism that was behind the,
- 39:00the movie and the book called the Exorcist.
- 39:03Of course, they changed the scene and and so forth.
- 39:05It started, it did start actually at Georgetown
- 39:08University, but it didn't move to Saint Louis.
- 39:11And in, in a later case. But anyway, Robbie was, you
- 39:14know, he's about 14 years old. He hung around with a
- 39:17spiritualist aunt. You didn't have a whole lot of
- 39:19friends at school and she taught him how to use the Ouija board,
- 39:24etcetera. Then his good friend to the you
- 39:27know, who is spiritualist on died.
- 39:29And so, you know, not knowing any better, he decides he's
- 39:34going to use the Ouija board to communicate with his
- 39:38spiritualist aunt. And of course, as she's using
- 39:42that Ouija board, you know, you know, the, the, the little, you
- 39:47know, marker that that comes out of the Ouija board and moves by
- 39:54not by your fingers, but by, you know, a spiritual force.
- 39:59You know, he manipulates the board and.
- 40:02And he the, the spirit tells him, you know, I'm, I'm, I'm
- 40:06your nice aunt, you know, But of course it's not his nice aunt
- 40:11and. So he heard a demonic so he's
- 40:12playing with his Ouija board and he hears A demonic voice saying
- 40:16I'm your nice aunt. And this is the Exorcist movie
- 40:19that was based off of this real case.
- 40:22Peter Blatty yeah. And so and and it was based on
- 40:25that diary, yes. And, and I know one of the
- 40:28Jesuits who probably. That movie is so terrifying.
- 40:30I can't watch it. I can't I it's like, it's just,
- 40:34I'm like, real life is scary enough.
- 40:36There's a lot of truth in that. Oh yeah.
- 40:39Well, this one was definitely a, a true 1.
- 40:42So he Robbie invites this, this spirit that's controlling the
- 40:47Ouija board into his life. And the minute he does, odd
- 40:52things begin to happen. So, you know, at night, you
- 40:55know, his bed is going, you know, just going up and down,
- 40:59you know, and of course, his chair is just spinning around.
- 41:04Furniture is moving in his room. You know, these chests of
- 41:07drawers are just going all over the place.
- 41:09Of course his parents are just going.
- 41:11What in the world is going on? So they they took him to a
- 41:17Lutheran minister and you know, that Luther minister said this
- 41:20is nothing more than something psychosomatic.
- 41:23You know, let me just take Robbie in for a couple of days.
- 41:26That's a pseudonym anyway. But you know, the case is also
- 41:31known as rolling dough. But the, the main point is takes
- 41:34in all Robbie into his his home. And of course, Robbie just
- 41:39levitates right off the bed, you know, and the, and the Luther
- 41:43minister, how's that psychosomatically produced, you
- 41:47know, So basically he says, I'm going to put you underneath the
- 41:54bed. Robbie levitates and lifts up
- 41:57the whole bed. And Rob's being crushed up
- 41:59against. So the Lutheran minister who's
- 42:01trying to help this young boy puts him under the bed because
- 42:04he thinks this. This is going to did.
- 42:07That hurt or injure Robbie. No, actually, you know, it's
- 42:11just he's saying, you know, stop it, stop it, you know, So of
- 42:14course, you know, finally the the minister gets Robbie out
- 42:17from under the bed. And of course, you know, this,
- 42:21like I said this, a paranormal activity is happening right and
- 42:25left. So the the Lutheran minister
- 42:27turns him back to his parents and he says, you know, probably
- 42:30better go see a Catholic priest. They know something about these
- 42:33things. So he gave up at least the
- 42:35psychosomatic explanation. But anyway, so they off they go.
- 42:41You know, this happens actually in a little suburb of Maryland
- 42:43outside Washington, DC. So they get an exorcist from the
- 42:49Diocese of Archdiocese of Baltimore and everything looks
- 42:53great, but they get this newly ordained priest.
- 42:56Now, of course, a newly ordained priest ought to be able to do an
- 42:59exorcist, but this kind of an exorcism where Robbie is clearly
- 43:03speaking languages like Latin that he doesn't know.
- 43:07But of course, the priest walks in there when he first sees
- 43:10Robbie, and he's speaking Latin to him.
- 43:14Has Robbie studied Latin for a long time?
- 43:16No, not a word of it, you know. And so of course, it's beginning
- 43:20to. These things are, you know,
- 43:22manifesting themselves. He knows things about the
- 43:24exorcist personal life that he couldn't possibly naturally
- 43:27stickly have known. So of course, you know, the the
- 43:31priest goes back to the diocese ballroom goes, you know, I'm
- 43:34telling you right now that this kid is exercise is it needs an
- 43:38exorcism. It's paranormal activity
- 43:40everywhere that he's speaking land.
- 43:42He's he knows things about me. And so they gave a permission
- 43:46for him to go to the Georgetown University Hospital.
- 43:49Why the Why the hospital? Because they want to keep him in
- 43:51a straitjacket. So he was that erratic?
- 43:54Yeah, so when he was manifesting, right, a person
- 43:58who's undergoing exorcism, you know, often times, like
- 44:01perfectly normal, right? And then all of a sudden when
- 44:04the eyes go back and the trance begins, then, you know, they can
- 44:10be, well, they are a totally different personality because
- 44:13their personality is completely subsumed to the demonic
- 44:17personality that is taken up. Now of course you devil can't
- 44:20affect your freedom, you know So when he when he stops covering
- 44:24over your real personality. You come back.
- 44:27You come back and you're perfectly free.
- 44:29Father, sorry to interrupt, but just to be clear on this or to
- 44:32understand it better for people listening, if someone's
- 44:34possessed and they're having a manifestation that's demonic,
- 44:37right? Like you see in the Exorcist
- 44:38movie, or we're talking about this case with this guy, this,
- 44:41you know, very unfortunate young man Robbie, until God frees him,
- 44:45of course, That's right. How long can the Satan maintain
- 44:49the manifestation? Like the episode of
- 44:51manifestation? Yeah, do we know how it can?
- 44:54Last for several hours really. It doesn't last generally that
- 44:58long generally at, you know, maybe an hour, maybe a 90
- 45:03minutes, but it can last several hours.
- 45:06In fact, in in in one time, you know, when Robbie was
- 45:09manifesting it, it was a very lengthy session when the when
- 45:16the Jesuits from Saint Louis University came in to start the
- 45:19exorcism part in Saint Louis, one of the the sessions was
- 45:24exceedingly long, several hours so.
- 45:26And when the person comes out of it, do they know that they do
- 45:29they remember? No, they do not.
- 45:31It's like they were asleep. Basically, yeah.
- 45:34Like, they're covered over. So they don't, They don't have.
- 45:36In fact, Robbie, after the whole thing was over, didn't recollect
- 45:41anything of those 39 days. You know, 39 exorcisms, 39 days,
- 45:46didn't recollect anything really, just lived a normal life
- 45:49with kids and so forth after that.
- 45:51Thank God. But thank God, thank.
- 45:53God, that's the happy ending, guys.
- 45:54Already we needed a happy ending after the Julia story.
- 45:58But one other question about the straitjacket, though.
- 46:00Because, you know, today, when exorcisms are done, there has to
- 46:04be great respect for people's freedom.
- 46:06That's right. But you can have people and
- 46:08generally should have people next to them holding their arms
- 46:12and things of that nature because a a person, once the
- 46:15exorcism begins, they start manifesting, they will try to
- 46:18attack the the exorcist. You should never do an exorcism.
- 46:21Well, appreciate you wouldn't you should never do an exorcism
- 46:23alone. You know, you should have people
- 46:25there for the purpose, specifically of restraint to
- 46:28that person if they become violent and agitated and they
- 46:31often do so. I mean, so, you know, again, you
- 46:36know, it's just prudence, right? But in that case, yeah, they did
- 46:40have a it was a qualified straight jacket.
- 46:42They didn't have his hand to hands tied tightly.
- 46:45And that was a mistake in a way, because what happened was in the
- 46:50in the Georgetown University Hospital.
- 46:53Robbie breaks free of his restraint.
- 46:57I mean, like Subaru and tree thing reaches under the bed.
- 47:00Remember the old bed springs that were a single layer of just
- 47:04bed springs on a with a thin mattress?
- 47:06He reaches under the bed and snaps off a nice piece of metal
- 47:12and carves the exorcist arm from his shoulder all the way down to
- 47:17his hand. He physically attacked.
- 47:18And physically attacked him and the blood just gushed right out
- 47:23of his. Arm was the Exorcist alone in
- 47:24the room with Robbie. Well, actually there were other
- 47:27there was a person there for medical purposes.
- 47:31They thought the restraint was significant, good enough, but
- 47:34not so and so. And luckily he was in this
- 47:38hospital, otherwise he could have just bled out right there.
- 47:41And so of course that traumatizes for newly ordained
- 47:46priest. And so, you know, the Diocese of
- 47:49Baltimore said, well, let's move this one along so that, you
- 47:54know, they, the parents said, OK, we'll go to Saint Louis.
- 47:59You know, we have relatives in Saint Louis.
- 48:01And so they, they move over to Saint Louis.
- 48:04But of course, they they move in with the the Lutheran relatives
- 48:09who again, just they have no idea what's going on.
- 48:13Robbie gets into that house and the prayer natural activities
- 48:17start going full blast. So, you know, they said we'll
- 48:21get, get to the Catholic diocese and one of the relatives, as a
- 48:25Catholic said, well, I'll, I'll talk to the Bishop, the
- 48:28Archbishop and say it was called up the Jesuits at, you know, at
- 48:33the Jesuit hall there and the chief of the, the head of the
- 48:37sociology department there. You know what, I was like to be
- 48:41the head exorcist along with five other people.
- 48:45Of course, a couple of those guys are bulky type Jesuits that
- 48:48were used for restraint purposes.
- 48:50But you know what they, what they did have three people.
- 48:53One was doing the, the diary and other one was, you know,
- 48:56assisting with the exorcism itself, etcetera, you know,
- 48:59psychological experts that were there to try and, and, and help
- 49:03to make sure that, I mean, there was no question there's
- 49:05paranormal. So I mean, they walked in for
- 49:07the first time in the upper room and the second floor of this
- 49:11house and they get into that second floor and of course they
- 49:15had relics and holy water and things were just flying out of
- 49:19their hands. You know, literally, you know,
- 49:22in the, the, the, the relics were being smashed against the
- 49:25wall. You know, all kinds of things
- 49:27were happening. You know that, that, you know,
- 49:30then the chest of drawers is starting to move right across.
- 49:33You know, there's nobody moving it, right?
- 49:35It's just moving all across the room.
- 49:37And these guys are going, whoa. You know, I think we can report
- 49:41fairly to the Bishop that this boy is truly possessed.
- 49:45I've got to, I've got to ask though, because this is such a
- 49:48famous exorcism story that you're telling and it's so
- 49:51extreme. And there are, I mean, we've had
- 49:54Exorcist on the show, like I said earlier, and they've told a
- 49:56lot of stories. Rarely are they anywhere close
- 49:58to this extreme. Why?
- 50:00I mean, a lot of play with Ouija boards, a lot of people mess
- 50:05around with the occult and some people are totally fine and some
- 50:09people have a little bit of demonic oppression, but nothing
- 50:12like this, nothing like possession.
- 50:14It's, it's such a good question. You know, I, I guess, you know,
- 50:19Robbie had repeatedly invited that spirit, you know, into him,
- 50:23I think mistaking it for his spiritualist aunt.
- 50:28And of course it it, it actually was, I think of, you know, when
- 50:32in terms of a hierarchy, if I can put it that way, of demonic
- 50:36spirits, this spirit was a, you know, high up in that hierarchy.
- 50:40And, you know, at the end of the exorcism, if I might just get to
- 50:44this, you know, and say Michael comes, you know, and, and and
- 50:47does into the final act, as it were, and I'll get to it in just
- 50:53a moment. But to make a Long story short,
- 50:56they, my, my thought is clearly Robbie, you know, invited this
- 51:03spirit and half of it was ignorance and half of it was
- 51:06bogus information he had received from his aunt.
- 51:10But when he wasn't manifesting, the Jesuits were talking to him
- 51:16and just basically saying, you don't know, Robbie, what we like
- 51:20to do is how would you like to be a Catholic?
- 51:23You know, and you know, and he goes, well, why?
- 51:26And when we got these sacraments of reconciliation, the
- 51:29Eucharist, you know, and they're very powerful and they're going
- 51:32to help us, you know. And So what we need you to do
- 51:36ultimately is we need you to understand this profession of
- 51:39faith and to take it. And then of course, to, to see
- 51:44if you can do reconciliation and then to do receive the Holy
- 51:48Eucharist. Well, over the course of, you
- 51:51know, this 39 days, right, They had to move the, the, the
- 51:55exorcism first. They tried to start at a college
- 51:58church where I was at Saint Louis University, you know, and
- 52:03it was just, you know, the noise, the cantankerousness,
- 52:06the, the, the bellowing, the, you know, the crazy stuff, the
- 52:10paranormal activity. They had to move it out of the
- 52:13college church. So they brought us the Alexian
- 52:16brothers retreat house across town.
- 52:19And there the exorcism continued.
- 52:21And and when it when it did continue, you know, Robbie
- 52:25would, you know, just have dots all over his chest.
- 52:29You know, all these messages were popping up dots, dots like,
- 52:33you know, like welts. They were coming off of his
- 52:36chest. Like like externally?
- 52:38Externally spelling out you know, go away or Satan or exit
- 52:45or wow, you know and arrows and is.
- 52:48That a typical thing, and I haven't heard that one before
- 52:51that that's many exorcist that that can be done.
- 52:54Definitely the scratches are very, very typical.
- 52:57Yeah. So, you know, scratches things
- 52:59or, you know, the, the beatings of, you know, or, or a person
- 53:03is, is really beaten up by spirits, you know, and, and, and
- 53:07so there's, you know, bruisings and and so forth.
- 53:11You know, those things do happen.
- 53:12Yes. So the scratching, these kind of
- 53:15sort of super welts that are coming out of Robbie.
- 53:18They they come and go and they give these messages and of
- 53:21course that, you know, these Jesuits, a bunch of academics,
- 53:24you know, they're going, you know, they're trying to figure
- 53:27this out. At the same time, they had
- 53:29really great faith, no question about it.
- 53:32But at the same time, they're, they're trying to, you know,
- 53:36make some sense, you know, out of it.
- 53:38But anyway, I'll just cut to the chase eventually that Robbie
- 53:44did, you know, take his profession of faith.
- 53:46They talked him into, you know, trying to, to, to take some of
- 53:50the Holy Eucharist. And eventually he takes a, you
- 53:52know what he did take and you know, you would spit it out
- 53:56normally or he'd go into a, you know, complete, you know,
- 54:01gripping down his teeth. I'm not going to do anything,
- 54:04you know, And he's screaming and yelling and terrible things that
- 54:08they say and the terrible demonic voice, you know.
- 54:11But anyway, she finally takes this, this piece of the Holy
- 54:16Eucharist on Easter Sunday. And I believe it was immediately
- 54:20thereafter, on Easter Monday, as they're performing the final
- 54:25exorcism, St. Michael appears right over
- 54:29Robbie. And he's pointing his sword
- 54:32right down at Robbie and saying, I am Saint Michael, get out of
- 54:38the boy. You know?
- 54:40And this happens about, I think, three times, something of that
- 54:44nature. And then when the Satan exits,
- 54:49you know, from Robbie, I mean, there's this boom and all the
- 54:56lights go off and the Lexian brothers who treat us, but not
- 55:00just there all the way across town where that exorcism, it
- 55:04started at the college church at Saint Louis University, all the
- 55:08lights go out and they heard the boom there.
- 55:11At that time, you know, priests had their own individual masses
- 55:15and smaller Chapel side chapels along the, the path there.
- 55:19So there were plenty of priests who are there heard that boom
- 55:23and you know, saw the lights go out in, in, in the, in the
- 55:26church or the exorcism had began, had begun.
- 55:29And then at the, at the end, Robbie was just sitting there
- 55:33very peacefully, no recollection of what had happened to him.
- 55:39As I said, he, he lived a, a pretty ordinary life after that.
- 55:45I know, you know, I've read some of the of the exorcist who
- 55:49afterwards said, well, it had an effect on them.
- 55:53You know, I mean more than it did on Robbie.
- 55:55They, the exorcist who were there could remember it.
- 55:59It did have a, have an effect on them, you know, not all, not
- 56:04something debilitating, but it, it, it did just, it kind of wore
- 56:10them thin. You know, it was a talk about,
- 56:13you call it the beginning, a spiritual struggle and, you
- 56:17know, spiritual warfare. And it was very much like that.
- 56:22But it was a very successful exorcism.
- 56:25The I think reality of spiritual warfare is not talked about
- 56:31enough by even Christians and certainly non Christians.
- 56:35I think they might sense it at points but they don't realize
- 56:38how dramatic it is. It's literally the battle for
- 56:40their souls, their eternal souls.
- 56:43There I've noticed that this conversation about spiritual
- 56:47warfare seems to be increasing, and it's more common today,
- 56:51which I'm really grateful for because I do think even in
- 56:55church to some degree, and I think by when I say church, I
- 56:57mean baptized Christians like larger Christianity, including
- 57:00our Protestant brothers and sisters.
- 57:02There's sometimes a hesitation to talk about this because we
- 57:07don't want to give Satan more credit than he's due, right?
- 57:10We don't want to like be, oh, he's so spooky and scary.
- 57:13Everybody be scared in like some essential sense because we
- 57:16should be scared of evil and reject evil.
- 57:18But God is all the power. That is correct.
- 57:21I, I, I guess where I'm going with this, I'm curious about
- 57:25with this famous exorcism that you just talked about with
- 57:27Robbie, that the movie The Exorcist is made after, it
- 57:31sounds like the people didn't know what to do with him,
- 57:34including some priests. They had to like figure this
- 57:36out. They weren't used to doing
- 57:37exorcisms. They weren't used to doing
- 57:39exorcisms certainly that were this intense for them.
- 57:42Do you think that that was something unique to that time in
- 57:46the church and now people are more equipped than they were
- 57:49then? Well, the exorcisms are, are
- 57:52generally in the hands of the diocese.
- 57:55So it really depends on how the Bishop or the the diocesan
- 58:00official, you know, prepares for having no exorcisms.
- 58:06Now today actually, I, I believe it was both Pope Benedict and
- 58:12again it was remanded by Pope Francis wanted to have
- 58:19exorcists, official diocesan exorcist in every diocese.
- 58:24That's great. It it absolutely is great
- 58:28because the the occult activity is 10 times greater than it was
- 58:32really during the time of Robbie Mannheim, so you know you.
- 58:36Think there's 10 times more occult activity today than
- 58:39during Robbie Mannheim? I would have to say at least 10
- 58:43times more, more evident occult activity.
- 58:46Maybe there was slightly more in past times, but there is a lot
- 58:51of it today and it, it has increased, no question.
- 58:56And, and because of the increase in the cult activity, you know,
- 59:01like if you're a good Catholic, you, you just don't see it.
- 59:04So you go, what, what are you talking about?
- 59:05I know or see anything like that.
- 59:07If you're going to church, you're not likely to see a whole
- 59:11lot of it. Church can keep you pretty safe.
- 59:13That's. Yeah, exactly so.
- 59:18I've heard, yeah, I I did hear about that, that Pope Francis
- 59:21and Bennett, Pope Benedict recommended or wanted that each
- 59:27diocese to have a designated exorcist.
- 59:30So someone was preparing and prepared and and everyone knew
- 59:32who to call. I've also heard that there has
- 59:36been, at least I've been told by some exorcists, including some
- 59:40who didn't come on the show, my show, and others that did, but
- 59:43some that didn't, that they, they didn't tell me that their
- 59:47Bishop said they couldn't come on the show, but they indicated
- 59:49that they were trying to not be so public about what they were
- 59:53doing or that they were maybe stepping it away.
- 59:55Again, it was kind of unclear. The indication to me was that
- 59:59there's still a hesitation even in the church about how to talk
- 1:00:02about these things and what to share is that.
- 1:00:04Would you say that's? True.
- 1:00:05Yes, yes, that's true because you know, there's first of all,
- 1:00:12you don't want to cause, you know, a kind of a needless fear,
- 1:00:18right. So if you give the the devil so
- 1:00:21much credit that you're looking for the devil under every stone,
- 1:00:26you know, it might have a backwards effect on what you're
- 1:00:30really trying to accomplish, namely to get Christ omnipresent
- 1:00:34rather than the devil omnipresent.
- 1:00:37So I think that's always been a concern for the church not to
- 1:00:42over, you know, you know, to, to over emphasize the devil, but at
- 1:00:50the same time, you really have to be careful of under
- 1:00:54emphasizing the devil because you know, this dark spirit.
- 1:00:59I, I wrote a book on this, you know, Christ versus Satan in our
- 1:01:02daily lives, because I, I really do think that we have not
- 1:01:07emphasized this enough. And sometimes we're trying to do
- 1:01:11it to be nice, quote UN quote, you know, that we don't want to
- 1:01:15scare children. In fact, once I was actually
- 1:01:17talking about my new book, you know, Christ versus Satan.
- 1:01:20At that time, I was new, you know what, in our daily lives.
- 1:01:24And I was talking about it and one of the teachers in in the
- 1:01:28audience teachers, I'm a teacher.
- 1:01:30I couldn't possibly talk to my students.
- 1:01:34So I think they have so many problems in their own life
- 1:01:36already. I I just can't load this on him.
- 1:01:38Is this a Catholic school? Well, it was actually a public
- 1:01:42lecture. And she, she, she revealed that
- 1:01:44she was a teacher. And I just came right back at
- 1:01:47her and I said, you know, you know, not telling the child that
- 1:01:51playing out in the street, it, it, you know, it, it'll upset
- 1:01:55them if you say you could get hit by the car if you're playing
- 1:01:58out in the street, but you ought to tell them you had to forewarn
- 1:02:01them. Now, I don't think you should,
- 1:02:03you know, scare little kids or something like that, but high
- 1:02:06school kids, if they're old enough to get involved in CC and
- 1:02:11Ouija boards and everything else, and they will be invited
- 1:02:14into these things. It's a concerted attempt on the
- 1:02:18part of a cultist to bring the naive into that quote UN quote
- 1:02:24demonic fold. And so, you know, what are we
- 1:02:28thinking about? Of course we should.
- 1:02:31Jesus didn't hesitate to talk about, you know, the evil spirit
- 1:02:35to anybody. And he's, he's pretty blunt.
- 1:02:39He's a liar and he's a murderer. And, and it goes on to, to say,
- 1:02:44you know, you, you, you can't trust his, his, his, his
- 1:02:47tactics. And you know, you have to be
- 1:02:49alert, you know, to, to this evil spirit.
- 1:02:52And that's why he's given his apostles this capacity to do
- 1:02:57these exorcisms. So a part of me wants to say, of
- 1:03:00course, don't scare little kids. Absolutely.
- 1:03:05Please don't. On the other hand, when he is
- 1:03:08in, a kid gets to high school, you ought to mention it.
- 1:03:13They'll be invited into the other side of the game.
- 1:03:15I would say junior high, even in an age appropriate for each
- 1:03:18child. But you go to a Public Library
- 1:03:21today, Father Spitzer, and they have books for toddlers with
- 1:03:25Zodiac signs and they have a cult.
- 1:03:28You know, like how to do a cult stuff in the library.
- 1:03:32And I'm not talking about like, fanciful fiction.
- 1:03:34Right I'm. Not talking about like fanciful
- 1:03:36fiction, like the beautiful Narnia that has a witch in it.
- 1:03:40And I'm not even casting aspersions on Harry Potter.
- 1:03:42And like the universe that they've created.
- 1:03:44And they're they're doing their own spells and stuff because
- 1:03:46it's not, you know, teaching you do these spells and you will
- 1:03:49then have this witchcraft after like, you know, you can access
- 1:03:52the yeah, I. And although the heck, I'm sure
- 1:03:55it's its own debate is like Harry Potter, good or bad, you
- 1:03:57know, what can we do with Harry Potter?
- 1:03:59I don't know if you put an opinion on that actually.
- 1:04:02Charles I'm thinking is, I think most people can tell the
- 1:04:06difference between fiction and fact and right.
- 1:04:08And at least 99.9% of the kids I talked to never did view Harry
- 1:04:14Potter with any degree of seriousness relative to getting
- 1:04:17into like a, a demonic culture, occult activity or anything like
- 1:04:21that, that I could possibly see. It was like a book that people
- 1:04:25read and, and that was that. So, I mean, you know, now I, I
- 1:04:31guess, you know, if, if you're a parent and you're worried about
- 1:04:33the possibility of, of, you know, somebody getting an idea
- 1:04:37of getting in a cold activity, you know, but you know, it's,
- 1:04:40it's all in a mythical world that this is taking place in.
- 1:04:43You know, it's, it's not like it's suggesting, you know, a, a
- 1:04:47real covenant or a real occult activity or, or putting anything
- 1:04:52in that person's brain to start using Ouija boards or anything
- 1:04:55like that. But again, you might just say I,
- 1:04:58I don't want my kids reading it. Great.
- 1:05:00Is there a Ouija board in Harry Potter?
- 1:05:03That's my knowledge is there, yeah.
- 1:05:06There's no Harry Potter fans around here.
- 1:05:07Come on, guys, give me some. I don't think that there is.
- 1:05:12So I that I could be missing something, but but I think
- 1:05:16that's also very important. It's like, are they actually
- 1:05:18being taught palm reading and tarot cards and Ouija boards?
- 1:05:23And there are no Ouija boards in Harry Potter.
- 1:05:26Good job, JK Rowling. We like JK Rowling around here.
- 1:05:32She's very brave, too, speaking out against men and women's
- 1:05:35sports and on the transition and all of that.
- 1:05:39So do you think today you mentioned there's a spike in
- 1:05:43demonic activity or people entertaining the occult, and you
- 1:05:46see it in pop music. You see it and you do see it
- 1:05:48everywhere. Do you think that we have enough
- 1:05:52exorcists who are trained and prepared today in the church?
- 1:05:56Yeah, I think the, you know, two things are really required.
- 1:05:59First thing is a general knowledge.
- 1:06:02You know, you remember how the church attendance picked up
- 1:06:05hugely when the Exorcist movie came out.
- 1:06:09Oh, it did. I didn't.
- 1:06:10I mean, that was in the 80s, right?
- 1:06:12That's wonderful. Church attendance increased when
- 1:06:15the Exorcist movie came out, people.
- 1:06:16What a plus. I mean, so that was I had a
- 1:06:18converting effect on. People, Yeah, yeah, that's
- 1:06:20great. So I mean, I, I do think that,
- 1:06:23you know, people do know, you know, if, if you really look
- 1:06:26around, I mean, there's, you know, there's such a thing as
- 1:06:30evil out there. And I think our kids are,
- 1:06:33they're not stupid, but they can be talked into believing there's
- 1:06:38white magic or something. And you know, when you hear that
- 1:06:43stuff, you got to slam it down immediately as there's no such
- 1:06:48thing as white magic. There's no such thing as white
- 1:06:53occultism. You know, like they're, you're
- 1:06:55going to, you know, call it white, but you're, you're still
- 1:06:59appealing to spirits whose origins are unknown to get
- 1:07:04powers that don't belong to you naturalistically, including
- 1:07:08casting spells. Are you kidding me?
- 1:07:11White, you know, this is, this is the biggest lie ever.
- 1:07:15It's it's black occultism. And if you, you know, if
- 1:07:19somebody said I'm not a, a bad witch, I'm just a white witch,
- 1:07:23you know, but you're, you're a witch that's calling upon
- 1:07:26spirits that of course, would never be associated with Christ.
- 1:07:32If you're saying that you're good, all you have to do is
- 1:07:34invoke the name of Jesus and keep invoking the name of Jesus
- 1:07:38and giving up the whole idea of a trying to invoke any other
- 1:07:42spirit other than the Holy Spirit.
- 1:07:44Just, you know, give that up. They will not do it, I assure
- 1:07:48you, because they are looking for other kinds of power.
- 1:07:53They're looking for all kinds of ways like, you know, Julia did
- 1:07:57in, in her own life. And so, you know, I think making
- 1:08:01people aware of that. I mean, in the last chapters of
- 1:08:04my book, I go through these eight deadly sins.
- 1:08:06I, I separate pride from vanity because, you know, vanity's
- 1:08:10really about look at me or his pride is really about obey me.
- 1:08:17You know, I want the dominion. I want the power.
- 1:08:20I don't want just, you know, you to, to admire me.
- 1:08:23I want, I want to have control over you.
- 1:08:26And so that, you know, the whole idea, you know, there I, I go
- 1:08:31through those deadly sins and I go through them one by one
- 1:08:35because I think that's, that's really the, the devil's favorite
- 1:08:38tactic. You know, whatever you do, if if
- 1:08:41you hear anybody say, you know, I'm bringing over the Ouija
- 1:08:44board or I'm bringing over, just get out of there.
- 1:08:48I mean, one of my friends brought a Ouija board over to my
- 1:08:53house when I was a kid, and we were in the playroom just
- 1:08:56breaking it out, you know, And my mom came and said, what's
- 1:08:59that? And oh, you know, so and so
- 1:09:03brought this over to the house. You know, my mom looks at it and
- 1:09:05goes, I'm taking it. That was the end of that.
- 1:09:08From someone reminded me recently that the movie Jumanji.
- 1:09:12Yeah. Is it starts with a Ouija board
- 1:09:14and the kids playing around. And I remember being terrified
- 1:09:18of that movie as a kid. My parents let us watch it when
- 1:09:20I was a little older, but I don't know if they really
- 1:09:22realized that, you know, what the context was.
- 1:09:25But looking back on that, you know, as entertaining, I guess,
- 1:09:29as it was, it's a really poisonous.
- 1:09:33Now it is suggesting that you don't want to play with the
- 1:09:36Ouija board in one sense. But there's not like some big
- 1:09:38Christ conquers over evil message.
- 1:09:40As I remember that wasn't really the message wasn't a Christian
- 1:09:43message. It was maybe like, oh, there's
- 1:09:45kind of crazy worlds out there, guys.
- 1:09:47Interesting. Yeah, as far as I'm concerned,
- 1:09:51you know, the, you know, the, the, the dealing with evil
- 1:09:56Christ and the name of Christ and the Christian sacraments as
- 1:10:01Catholic sacraments, specially, you know, the sacrament of
- 1:10:05reconciliation, the Holy Eucharist.
- 1:10:07These are the best protections and the best remedies, you know,
- 1:10:12for, for hauntings infestations, for oppressions and, and, and
- 1:10:17possessions. And there's no question the
- 1:10:20Roman rite of exorcism is very, very important indeed.
- 1:10:23And of course, trying to follow the moral teaching of Jesus, you
- 1:10:27know, without scruple is is, you know, there and, and Jesus keeps
- 1:10:33saying you have to be vigilant, right?
- 1:10:36You know, you can't, it's not a one and done.
- 1:10:39You can't just say, I believe in Jesus And and then you know,
- 1:10:43you're going to be saved. I mean, you just have to be
- 1:10:45vigilant, vigilant, vigilant. The devil will try to work you
- 1:10:49over, try to get you at every turn.
- 1:10:52And you know, eventually, of course, as you live a holy life,
- 1:10:56you know, it's going to get easier and easier to resist sin.
- 1:10:59But you can't, don't ever think you've conquered until you know,
- 1:11:03you've, you're on the, the caboose to, to, to purgatory at
- 1:11:07the very least, right? So don't, don't think that it's
- 1:11:11over because it's not over. I mean, you can think you, you
- 1:11:15know, you're living a holy life, but you know, there's always
- 1:11:18these entry ways and the devil tries to, to get there.
- 1:11:22Shame. Teresa of Avila, you know, she
- 1:11:24has that book Interior Castle. As you get further and further
- 1:11:27along into the interior castle where Jesus is, you know, these
- 1:11:31are the stages of a holy life. As you go further and further
- 1:11:35in, you know, there are less the, you know, demons present,
- 1:11:40but they're only absent in the very center.
- 1:11:43But there are less demons, as she would put it, you know, on
- 1:11:46the outside before you start, you know, moving into the
- 1:11:50interior castle, which is basically a a spiritual journey
- 1:11:54to Christ through, you know, both the sacraments and prayer
- 1:11:58and moral virtue. You know, as you you know, you
- 1:12:02start to to go through you really do you know it.
- 1:12:06It does become easier, but you can never be, you know, so sure
- 1:12:12until finally, you know, you've cross the threshold.
- 1:12:15Of course, Jesus does forgive us for our sins.
- 1:12:18There's no question about that. But, you know, just paraphrase
- 1:12:23Saint Teresa of Avila again. Well, a man can be praying and
- 1:12:30he can be sinning, but that won't last for long.
- 1:12:34Eventually he'll have to give up one of them.
- 1:12:38And so, you know, it's pretty much the idea.
- 1:12:42And so the sacraments are hugely important for protection from
- 1:12:49evil and communion with Christ. But also prayer is really
- 1:12:53important. Even if it's, I'm going to do my
- 1:12:56rosary every day, then do your rosary every day because then
- 1:13:00you're connecting with the Lord. You don't have to be, you know,
- 1:13:05famous. You don't have to be Saint John
- 1:13:07of the Cross. What you need is to connect with
- 1:13:10the Lord. And you say, well, I only
- 1:13:13connected, you know, a little bit with the Lord today.
- 1:13:16You know, I, I mean, I went through that whole rosary and I
- 1:13:20suppose I only connected with God for one decade.
- 1:13:23And the rest of the time I was thinking about whatever boilers,
- 1:13:28I don't know, but I was thinking and distracted about other
- 1:13:31things. OK, you connected, you cut,
- 1:13:34you're trying, you're trying to consecrate your time, your
- 1:13:37energy, trying to focus. You're connecting with the Lord,
- 1:13:40you're letting him in. And just remember, 90% of the
- 1:13:44fruit of prayer happens outside of prayer.
- 1:13:47So in other. Words.
- 1:13:48That's very encouraging. Yeah, you, you, you actually
- 1:13:51say. Well, Gee, I I didn't feel
- 1:13:54anything today during my rosary. I was distracted.
- 1:13:57I think so many people struggle to like make the time to pray or
- 1:14:00they get their mind is going everywhere.
- 1:14:02But you can surrender even that like Lord, I give you my
- 1:14:05poverty, my ADHD, my anxiety, my distraction, like make that the
- 1:14:10prayer then that's that's your poverty and it helps you humble
- 1:14:13you like I'm like, that's really nothing.
- 1:14:15I need Jesus for everything. Absolutely.
- 1:14:19Sometimes I find kneeling helps me, you know, you know, so you
- 1:14:24know, I, I have a seat cushion. They have to sometimes I use
- 1:14:28that for my kneeler and so right by my bed, you know, of course I
- 1:14:33I kneel in the Chapel and all but but you know, just to do
- 1:14:36those rosaries. It really helps me focus, you
- 1:14:40know, to have something like that.
- 1:14:42The position is is important, but as long as we're really
- 1:14:46trying to consecrate that time to the Lord and earnestly trying
- 1:14:50to connect with him. I'm telling you, you will see
- 1:14:54that is easier to be to be virtuous.
- 1:15:00The inspirations that we need certainly for our ministries and
- 1:15:04all those ministries are all, you know, part of it.
- 1:15:07And and so this is, you know, a a huge part of of things that.
- 1:15:13You're, you're working on something I know you wanted to
- 1:15:16share too. You mentioned it earlier at the
- 1:15:18beginning. The Magic Center is always doing
- 1:15:20very wonderful projects, publishing free book, book
- 1:15:23curriculum, apps to help and serve the church and people
- 1:15:27across the world. So thank you for talking to us
- 1:15:30about Halloween and exorcisms. Hope people were encouraged to
- 1:15:34put Jesus 1st and frequent the sacraments and pray that is the
- 1:15:38answer to all of this. But tell us what you've been up
- 1:15:41to to wrap us up here. Well, I just made an app called
- 1:15:45Modus AI. The objective is to answer 10s
- 1:15:49of thousands of questions about the confluence of science,
- 1:15:53reason, faith, scripture, morality.
- 1:15:56We want to answer questions of well, how come the church
- 1:15:59teaches against transgenderism? What's the the social science
- 1:16:02data that links it to you know, the emotional health where you
- 1:16:06can see a 2000 times, I mean 2000% increase in suicides or
- 1:16:10something of that nature. What's the evidence for God from
- 1:16:13science? Will a fourth level multiverse
- 1:16:16disprove God? Anything you can ask it?
- 1:16:19Literally any question about 10,000.
- 1:16:22Have you stumped it? We've tried to trick it several
- 1:16:26times with several different things, but it actually, it
- 1:16:29works its way out of it very well.
- 1:16:32It's we think we've got it. You know, it's not perfect, but
- 1:16:36it's pretty close. We still have some things to put
- 1:16:39into our database. We haven't got everything, but
- 1:16:41we got a lot. It'll answer 10s of thousands of
- 1:16:44questions and our objective is no more, do we want to have any
- 1:16:48child getting intimidated in the dorm room, you know, by somebody
- 1:16:52saying something or making fun of the church or doing
- 1:16:55something. All we wanted to do is pull out
- 1:16:57that app and go, hey, Majus, you know, is that really true about
- 1:17:01XYZ? And then Majus can come on go,
- 1:17:03no, that's not really true. Or, you know, whatever it is
- 1:17:07that The thing is, is to, you know, somebody's, oh, there's no
- 1:17:09credible evidence for God from science.
- 1:17:11There's more evidence today for God from science than ever
- 1:17:14before. So just pull out, you know, you
- 1:17:16get the app and just go, hey, Majus, you know, what's the
- 1:17:19evidence for God? And it'll say, will you have
- 1:17:22these 26 items to choose from for our scientific, you know,
- 1:17:27evidence of God, you know, select one.
- 1:17:29And then then I can, you can just say more on that, more on
- 1:17:33that, more on that. So you can go back and forth and
- 1:17:36bought sessions and get as much as you want from it, but it's a
- 1:17:41free app. You just go to Majus AI, no
- 1:17:46space between the words Majus AI in your Google Play Store for
- 1:17:51Android and in your Apple Store. And you can also get it off the
- 1:17:54web. So just go to majusai.com and
- 1:17:59just sign up and you're in. You can use all the app stuff in
- 1:18:05the world right off the web, so you don't have to get an app if
- 1:18:08you don't want to. Thank you, Father Spitzer, have
- 1:18:11you? I love all these apps that are
- 1:18:12coming out that it's very exciting.
- 1:18:15We may be working on something over at GTB.
- 1:18:17We'll see which we'll let everyone know about in due time.
- 1:18:19But I'm curious, I'm curious if you've seen the Truthfully app,
- 1:18:23it found a little bit similar what you're doing, but that
- 1:18:26maybe you're focused more like you said on, on all of the
- 1:18:28science and academic background as well.
- 1:18:31Truthfully is a very much an apologetics tool is the way that
- 1:18:35people have been using it. Yeah, it's an ours isn't
- 1:18:38apologize to it, but it's really to to get like science based
- 1:18:42evidence for God, philosophical based evidence for God.
- 1:18:45It's. Father Spitzer, Mind hive.
- 1:18:47Oh yeah, yeah, I know all my 20 books are on a lot of good
- 1:18:51scientific articles, or aren't too.
- 1:18:54And so if you. Want to talk to Father Spitzer
- 1:18:56and get the brain, the brain trust.
- 1:18:57I love that. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:19:00Thank you for being you father. It's always a delight to have
- 1:19:03you in studio and thank you for sharing with us about exercises,
- 1:19:07Halloween, and what Mattis is up to.
- 1:19:09Very, very wonderful, as usual. Thanks for the opportunity, Leo.
- 1:19:13Great to see you.
