- 0:59Speaker 5: You don't do that.

- 1:31Speaker 7: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Got to turn the mout turn.
- 1:43Speaker 8: You probably got to turn the.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Mouth turn a wad of the morning up looking me?
- 1:55Speaker 5: Come come on, you'll think, ah, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on,
- 2:07Speaker 2: dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 2: radio show, Yeah, I got one. I got a message
- 2:15Speaker 2: for you today too. Something I was thinking about that
- 2:18Speaker 2: might help you along the way. The thing I appreciate
- 2:21Speaker 2: about so many people that I learned from Bishop Jake's,
- 2:25Speaker 2: Kenneth Olmer, Donnie McClerkin, Kirk Franklin, Joel Oldstein, I can't
- 2:32Speaker 2: tell you and many more than that. I mean, you
- 2:34Speaker 2: know I'm naming you know, famous people because I know
- 2:39Speaker 2: you know these names. But my father, who you never met,
- 2:45Speaker 2: was so great in my development as a man. But
- 2:48Speaker 2: my mother thought have mercy. My mother she taught me
- 2:52Speaker 2: about faith. She gave me the things I needed to
- 2:56Speaker 2: know about. What I speak about every day that basis
- 3:00Speaker 2: was given to me by her. So it's so many
- 3:02Speaker 2: great people. But here's the thing that I've had to learn,
- 3:06Speaker 2: and that is that if God got you through it.
- 3:10Speaker 5: It's done.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Move on. See, I can't tell you how many people
- 3:15Speaker 2: don't really pay attention to that close enough.
- 3:18Speaker 5: If God got you through it, it's done.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Move on.
- 3:24Speaker 5: How many times have we as people allowed God to
- 3:29Speaker 5: get us through.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Something, get us beyond something, get us over something, get
- 3:35Speaker 2: us through something, and then even after its completion, we
- 3:40Speaker 2: sit there and we dwell on it, and we dwell
- 3:43Speaker 2: on it to the point where it becomes an anchor
- 3:45Speaker 2: around our neck, and we can't move on. We can't
- 3:49Speaker 2: move on because we just won't let it go. It's done.
- 3:56Speaker 2: If God got you through it, it's done.
- 4:00Speaker 9: Move on.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Stop harboring on the past.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Stop hanging on to every time you fail, Stop hanging
- 4:07Speaker 2: on to every time you slipped up and messed up.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Stop hanging on to every time you didn't get it right.
- 4:14Speaker 2: So what everybody makes mistakes, Everybody messes up, everybody don't
- 4:20Speaker 2: get it right.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Everybody's struggling with something.
- 4:25Speaker 2: You ain't the only one, but my God, Man, if
- 4:30Speaker 2: God got you through it, it's done. Move on you
- 4:34Speaker 2: hanging on to it for it. That's why he got it,
- 4:37Speaker 2: got you through it, so you can move on from it.
- 4:40Speaker 2: See a lot of things that happened to us that
- 4:43Speaker 2: we think are negative or bad experience. These are lessons
- 4:48Speaker 2: and what not to do. This is a way to
- 4:52Speaker 2: have one now a bearing on. Look out for it
- 4:55Speaker 2: the next time. You got me once, you can't get
- 4:58Speaker 2: me again, telling you, man, if God got you through it,
- 5:03Speaker 2: it's done, move on.
- 5:06Speaker 1: You have got to move on.
- 5:07Speaker 5: I use this analogy all the time. I'm gonna add
- 5:10Speaker 5: a little bit to it.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Bishop Jakes told me you cannot drive your car looking
- 5:19Speaker 2: in the rear view mirror. See you know what your
- 5:22Speaker 2: rearview mirror is actually for in your car. Your rearview
- 5:26Speaker 2: mirror is designed. After I pass a car and I
- 5:32Speaker 2: want to merge into that lane, or I want to
- 5:35Speaker 2: make another move, I look up in the rear view mirror,
- 5:40Speaker 2: and all I use it for it shows me that
- 5:43Speaker 2: I've gotten past it. I've gotten past the vehicle I
- 5:47Speaker 2: was passing, and I got enough room now clear to
- 5:50Speaker 2: make my next move.
- 5:52Speaker 5: That's what I use my rearview mirror for.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I use my rear view mirror to just glance up
- 5:58Speaker 2: every now and then to see what's coming up on me.
- 6:01Speaker 5: That's all I use it for. Listen to me real close. Now,
- 6:06Speaker 5: your rearview mirror on.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Your car is after you passing something or you're passing
- 6:12Speaker 2: by something, you can look up in the rear view
- 6:15Speaker 2: mirror and it lets you know you're pasted it, you're
- 6:19Speaker 2: beyond it. It's clear now, it's in the past. You
- 6:23Speaker 2: no longer have to deal with it as the car
- 6:26Speaker 2: that was in front of you blocking your way. You
- 6:29Speaker 2: have passed it. You look up in the mirror, you've
- 6:32Speaker 2: cleared it. Now if you on a switch lanes could
- 6:37Speaker 2: slide on over, you got room. But that rearview mirror
- 6:41Speaker 2: also lets you see if anything is coming up on you,
- 6:44Speaker 2: and you just need to glance, because if you moving
- 6:47Speaker 2: forward and a whole lot can come up on you,
- 6:50Speaker 2: you just glancing every now and then, and it reminds
- 6:53Speaker 2: you that you got through something and you got beyond something.
- 6:57Speaker 2: That's what the real view mirror for.
- 6:58Speaker 8: Now.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Let's talk about that.
- 6:59Speaker 1: When you.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Why you think that windshields so big on your car.
- 7:06Speaker 2: That's the biggest window on your car. You know why
- 7:10Speaker 2: the wind shield so big because it's where you're going.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Because even the automobile makers want you to have a
- 7:19Speaker 2: wide view of where you're going so you can see
- 7:23Speaker 2: what's up ahead. They put lights on the card night
- 7:26Speaker 2: so you can have night vision and see what's up ahead.
- 7:30Speaker 2: But you can uh oh man, oh see not why
- 7:33Speaker 2: is that looking? Think about that now before I move
- 7:36Speaker 2: forward with this one. Think about that wind shield, man,
- 7:39Speaker 2: why is that wind she'll so be so you can
- 7:41Speaker 2: see where you're going. It's way more important where you're
- 7:45Speaker 2: going than where you being, don't you see that. That's
- 7:50Speaker 2: why the rear view mirror is so small, because it
- 7:52Speaker 2: is nowhere near as important as it is as to
- 7:55Speaker 2: where you're going.
- 7:57Speaker 5: While you being just allows.
- 7:59Speaker 2: You to take a glis so you can make sure
- 8:01Speaker 2: you cleared it, so you can see if it's room
- 8:03Speaker 2: enough for you to make your next move, so you
- 8:05Speaker 2: can know that you've gone through it and go ahead
- 8:07Speaker 2: on about your business. But that windshield, that windshield is
- 8:12Speaker 2: for vision. A man without a dream of vision shall perish.
- 8:16Speaker 2: That windshield is for somebody going somewhere. That windshielding for
- 8:20Speaker 2: somebody else there trying to make another move. I'm gonna
- 8:23Speaker 2: go right, I'm gonna left. I'm gonna get off on
- 8:25Speaker 2: this exit. I'm gonna take this detail. I'm gonna handle
- 8:27Speaker 2: this sign. There's a new route. There's only so many
- 8:30Speaker 2: miles left to go. That's what the windshield got. Let
- 8:33Speaker 2: me tell you something, man, when you see a mile sign,
- 8:36Speaker 2: you're driving on the freeway, you're on the interstate, and
- 8:38Speaker 2: you let's say you driving to a particular city and
- 8:40Speaker 2: you see a sign that says that city is thirty
- 8:44Speaker 2: eight or one hundred and thirty eight miles away. That
- 8:47Speaker 2: lets you know where you're going, and you're on the
- 8:49Speaker 2: right path. Now, if you keep looking in the rear
- 8:53Speaker 2: view mirror, you'll never know how close you are. You'll
- 8:58Speaker 2: never know because you're driving your car looking in the
- 9:01Speaker 2: rear view mirror. You all on the shoulder, you hit
- 9:03Speaker 2: them rocks up under your car. You just scared yourself
- 9:06Speaker 2: to death because you know why, because you keep looking
- 9:08Speaker 2: in the rear view mirror. Get out the rear view mirror.
- 9:13Speaker 2: If God got you through it, it's done.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Move on.
- 9:16Speaker 2: So what he don't love you no more? And man,
- 9:20Speaker 2: let's move on. If God got you through it, it's done.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Move on.
- 9:25Speaker 5: God got something for you.
- 9:26Speaker 2: If you get out your rearview mirror and get up
- 9:29Speaker 2: in that wind shield, God's got something for you up ahead.
- 9:33Speaker 2: But you can't see what's up ahead because you in
- 9:35Speaker 2: that rear view mirror. If God got you through it,
- 9:38Speaker 2: it's done.
- 9:39Speaker 5: Let's move on.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Come on, y'all, don't let the pass beat you up.
- 9:44Speaker 2: That's the ingredients in the cake. You done made that already,
- 9:47Speaker 2: that's done.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 9:48Speaker 2: God, look in the windshield. See what God marobably got
- 9:51Speaker 2: something new for you. If you get out the rear
- 9:53Speaker 2: view mirror and look, open up your eyes and see.
- 9:55Speaker 2: All right, let's go.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Today.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening.

- 11:05Speaker 2: You know, I try to discourage people from calling me
- 11:09Speaker 2: with problems and because I got my own. But I
- 11:12Speaker 2: talked to him and he has some relationship problems. He
- 11:14Speaker 2: was heartbroken this girl is leaving him and he wanted
- 11:18Speaker 2: my advice. I said, well, you know, bro, talking to
- 11:21Speaker 2: a man at all, You know, I get out.
- 11:24Speaker 10: So.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Is that your answer for everything?
- 11:29Speaker 5: Get out well?
- 11:31Speaker 2: In the words of Judge Lenn told her, don't ever
- 11:33Speaker 2: let a man have to tell you twice he don't
- 11:36Speaker 2: want you. That's some great advice. And I do that
- 11:40Speaker 2: the same thing with women. You know, once you don't
- 11:43Speaker 2: want me. Now when I was younger, though I begged
- 11:45Speaker 2: a little bit. I ain't gonna lie to you.

- 15:09Speaker 12: Hello, I'm trying to reach Natalie. Please. Yeah, this is Natalie, Natalie.
- 15:13Speaker 8: How you doing. My name is Darren.
- 15:15Speaker 12: I'm with the Homeowners Association.
- 15:18Speaker 16: Okay, how you doing?
- 15:21Speaker 9: Listen, we gotta we got a bit of a problem
- 15:26Speaker 9: if you don't mind me asking who's who who actually
- 15:29Speaker 9: brings her kids home from school?
- 15:31Speaker 8: Uh?
- 15:32Speaker 12: Each day?
- 15:34Speaker 16: Oh my mom gets my kids for me and she
- 15:36Speaker 16: drops them off.
- 15:38Speaker 12: Okay, wow, okay, okay, well we have a we have
- 15:42Speaker 12: a bit of a problem. The kids are fine, that's
- 15:44Speaker 12: there's no issue with the kids at all. But you know,
- 15:48Speaker 12: we've had a meeting here at the h o A.
- 15:50Speaker 12: We've been getting some complaints. Uh it seems like your
- 15:53Speaker 12: mother is is uh really speeding down the street real fast,
- 15:59Speaker 12: and and you know everyone's complaining about it that you know,
- 16:03Speaker 12: it's a lot of kids walking home from school and
- 16:06Speaker 12: it seems like your mom is driving real fast when
- 16:08Speaker 12: she's coming down the street to drop your kids off.
- 16:11Speaker 12: Did you know anything about this? Uh? No, not at all.
- 16:15Speaker 16: That doesn't even sound like her.
- 16:17Speaker 9: Okay, what type of problem? Let me ask you this, Natalie.
- 16:23Speaker 9: We're were we From what I understand, it is a
- 16:27Speaker 9: what kind of confidence your mom had? Is a board
- 16:30Speaker 9: escape or something like that?
- 16:32Speaker 12: Some a little suv? Is that what your mom has?
- 16:35Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 16:35Speaker 16: She has a little red suv?
- 16:39Speaker 12: Okay, all right. So the problem is is that that's
- 16:43Speaker 12: the same car, that's the one we're talking about, and
- 16:46Speaker 12: it seems like, you know, your mother is is flying
- 16:49Speaker 12: down the street and she drops the kids off, and
- 16:52Speaker 12: when she leaves, she's flying back out of the neighborhood
- 16:54Speaker 12: and a couple of times some of the neighbors have
- 16:56Speaker 12: told her to slow down, and you know, I don't
- 16:59Speaker 12: know she's flicked them off or set something out the window,
- 17:03Speaker 12: you know. But you know this is stuff that we
- 17:05Speaker 12: just cannot tolerate. Huh.
- 17:08Speaker 16: Well it really doesn't sound like my mom, but you
- 17:11Speaker 16: know I will.
- 17:12Speaker 9: Okay, Well, listen, you know what, Natalie, what we're not
- 17:14Speaker 9: gonna do is what you're not gonna do is act
- 17:16Speaker 9: like is not your mama. It's your mother that's doing this.
- 17:19Speaker 9: So what we need you to do is tell your
- 17:21Speaker 9: mama to slow it down so we don't have the problem,
- 17:25Speaker 9: all right, because I'm trying to be nice with you
- 17:27Speaker 9: at first, But if you're gonna be in denial figure
- 17:29Speaker 9: it's not your mama, then we got an issue.
- 17:32Speaker 16: First of all, Darren from h O A, I need
- 17:36Speaker 16: you to watch your talls and who is you're talking to,
- 17:39Speaker 16: all right, I need you to plb that all the
- 17:41Speaker 16: way down.
- 17:41Speaker 8: All right.
- 17:45Speaker 12: You need to slow your damn mama down. That's what
- 17:47Speaker 12: you need to do. Slow your mama the way she's driving.
- 17:50Speaker 16: What to do is stand in the middle of the street.
- 17:52Speaker 16: Is she flying down and so hopefully she can knock you.
- 17:55Speaker 12: Out the way.
- 17:56Speaker 16: Okay, don't talk to me like that. You're being ruined, disrespectful.
- 17:59Speaker 16: I'm ask her at this time because I don't think
- 18:02Speaker 16: it's time. But you're not gonna talk to me like that.
- 18:04Speaker 9: Okay, So your mama can just drive it down the
- 18:06Speaker 9: streets and after damn mom what.
- 18:09Speaker 16: She wanta do. Ma, mama could do whatever she wanted
- 18:11Speaker 16: to do. She'll go on ass doring it.
- 18:13Speaker 12: She can't doing in the neighborhood that I'm a member.
- 18:15Speaker 9: Of the ho aad. She can't do it there.
- 18:18Speaker 12: Okay.
- 18:19Speaker 9: Now, I don't mind having your mama arrested with your
- 18:21Speaker 9: kids in the car.
- 18:22Speaker 16: If I got you, I wish you would. I wish
- 18:26Speaker 16: you would have my mama arrested with my kids in
- 18:28Speaker 16: the car. You're gonna have more problems than you ever had. Okay,
- 18:32Speaker 16: you better not have my mama arrested. You're gonna get

- 21:36Speaker 14: some sad news.

- 22:12Speaker 13: from Chryln in Richmond. Chrylyn writes, I've been married for
- 22:15Speaker 13: eleven years and I'm a stepmom to a newborn. My
- 22:19Speaker 13: husband and I don't have any children, and when he
- 22:21Speaker 13: told me he cheated and had a daughter as a

- 22:27Speaker 13: crazy to want to raise this baby.
- 22:30Speaker 2: No, you ain't crazy, but you're not crazy for wanting
- 22:33Speaker 2: to raise the baby. But you are crazy.

- 23:27Speaker 2: Better you better you're gonna get happy with these visitations.
- 23:29Speaker 2: It's what you're gonna get happy. Yeah, that's all right,
- 23:34Speaker 2: because that baby find to be the coldest pawn on

- 24:25Speaker 13: Sleeping now, all right, Moving on, congratulations Steve. Moving on
- 24:31Speaker 13: to Minny and Burdbank. Minnie says, my boyfriend knows that
- 24:34Speaker 13: I have a cousin that started in three explicit videos.
- 24:38Speaker 13: He found one of her videos online and said he
- 24:40Speaker 13: loved it, and he watched it at least five times.
- 24:43Speaker 13: It's weird to me that he even searched for her videos.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Why would he do that.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Because he wanted to see her? Money retort, would he
- 24:55Speaker 2: do that because he wanted to see her? The bigger
- 25:00Speaker 2: question is why would he tell you he watched it five.
- 25:04Speaker 1: And that he loved it.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, your cousin was everything in that movie.

- 26:00Speaker 5: All right?
- 26:00Speaker 1: Well, you know, I do think.
- 26:01Speaker 2: It's harder to be turned down as a porn start
- 26:04Speaker 2: than a movie star.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I think it's hard.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Why why you think it's okay not to not to
- 26:10Speaker 2: want my acting skills?

- 29:49Speaker 13: In sad news, one of the founders of the legendary
- 29:52Speaker 13: group the Isisley Brothers has died. Rudolph Isley reportedly died
- 29:56Speaker 13: peacefully in his sleep at home in Chicago. He was
- 30:00Speaker 13: with this wife of sixty eight years. She was by
- 30:02Speaker 13: his side. He was eighty four years old. Rudolph began
- 30:06Speaker 13: singing in the church as a teenager with his three brothers, Ronald,
- 30:09Speaker 13: O'Kelly and Vernon, before the creation of the Isley Brothers.
- 30:13Speaker 13: Of course, they have been chart topping since the late
- 30:16Speaker 13: nineteen fifties, so our condolences, of course go out to
- 30:20Speaker 13: the Isley Brothers.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Wow, legends, that's so sad, true legend. Yeah.
- 30:26Speaker 5: How many brothers was?
- 30:27Speaker 1: Man?
- 30:29Speaker 5: I think it's five?
- 30:32Speaker 1: Originally?
- 30:33Speaker 2: I think originally we all claimed, Oh how boys you
- 30:37Speaker 2: know Roger troupman, Slave o'hio, Playos you know, Brick right, Abduja, oh.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Jays oh Jays LeVert Yeah, oh god, though't Eddy let you?
- 30:59Speaker 1: And then you had to go back Dean Mard you know,
- 31:01Speaker 1: cath like that.
- 31:02Speaker 19: But you know, yeah, all right, OHI hi yo, yeah, yes,
- 31:09Speaker 19: So did you so tell us about We know you
- 31:11Speaker 19: got a story when you went to go see guys.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Hell Yeah, man, I so, I so, you know, I
- 31:16Speaker 2: used to dress for the concert, so I made a cane.
- 31:19Speaker 2: I made a cane for the concert. So I wanted
- 31:22Speaker 2: jewels on my cane like it was on the album. Okay,
- 31:26Speaker 2: you know twenty one albums though, yeah, twenty one albums.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I didn't have all twenty one of them because they
- 31:34Speaker 2: was they was out for I was really able to
- 31:36Speaker 2: purchase anything.
- 31:37Speaker 5: I didn't.
- 31:38Speaker 2: I didn't start purchasing records on my own. The first
- 31:42Speaker 2: record I bought was Jackson five Mamas of Pearl. Went
- 31:45Speaker 2: to the store and bought that. That was That was
- 31:47Speaker 2: seventy eight cent. Damn there cracked me. I had a dollar.
- 31:56Speaker 5: I bought mom was a pill.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I bought that in a twelve cent Hostess Power On
- 32:01Speaker 2: the way home. So I eat the pie whiles listening
- 32:04Speaker 2: to my forty five, and I wanted to go see
- 32:06Speaker 2: the Iley Brothers. So I had a cane made, so
- 32:08Speaker 2: I put the jewels on it. But you know, they
- 32:10Speaker 2: didn't have super glue out back then. You just had
- 32:12Speaker 2: Alma's and some wood glue, and you wasn't supposed to
- 32:16Speaker 2: put the.
- 32:16Speaker 5: Jewels on there.
- 32:17Speaker 2: So every time I put the cane on the ground,
- 32:19Speaker 2: when the jewels fell off, I had a pocket full
- 32:21Speaker 2: of jewels by the time I got back home. I
- 32:25Speaker 2: put that cane down one time and the dude picked
- 32:27Speaker 2: that jewel up. I said, pardon, no, that's my jewel,
- 32:30Speaker 2: he said, dog, I just saw this.
- 32:31Speaker 5: On the ground.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Look, man, I got to get this jewels back to
- 32:37Speaker 2: the house, so I so I tried to make it,
- 32:39Speaker 2: but I couldn't make the cane.
- 32:41Speaker 5: I had the cape on, though, but I didn't have
- 32:43Speaker 5: the cane.
- 32:43Speaker 19: You wore cake to earth Wind and Fire and the
- 32:45Speaker 19: Isley Brothers.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Concerts wore capes every show. Every time they.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Had a cape on and coal ass hat. I couldn't
- 32:57Speaker 2: make that outfit because they had wig too much intricate
- 33:00Speaker 2: detail on it, so I didn't want to, you know,
- 33:03Speaker 2: embarrass them. So I just had the cape on, yeah,
- 33:06Speaker 2: and my brother's for Dora, Yeah, my brother's for door
- 33:09Speaker 2: cape and the cane with all the jewelry on. I
- 33:12Speaker 2: was good with his ir winning Fire because they wore
- 33:14Speaker 2: him Indian outfish that time. And I made the moccas
- 33:17Speaker 2: and pants, and my sister made the vest and I
- 33:20Speaker 2: had the big afro so I stuck the feather in it,
- 33:23Speaker 2: so I was looking. I had a headband on and everything.
- 33:25Speaker 2: I was pretty good with that. I was all right,
- 33:27Speaker 2: but I didn't I didn't do good at the Isley concert.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I did real good at the LTD concert. I had
- 33:35Speaker 2: a lot more money for glitter because I had a
- 33:37Speaker 2: summer job then, so.
- 33:40Speaker 1: All the wings of love. Yeah, I want to.
- 33:48Speaker 5: Help now me boy, I had all them. I was singing.
- 33:53Speaker 5: I was singing with LTD so hard.
- 33:56Speaker 2: The pimp next to me was watching the said, damn man,
- 34:00Speaker 2: you won't up there, don't you.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Down so me and my woman can't hit the show.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, all right.
- 34:13Speaker 13: In other news entertainment news, Cardi B celebrated her thirty
- 34:16Speaker 13: first birthday on Wednesday. She had a party at Delilah
- 34:20Speaker 13: in West Hollywood. Carti's husband Offset gave her three count
- 34:24Speaker 13: of three new Ermez bags that collectively are worth half
- 34:27Speaker 13: a million dollars half a million dollars. Cardi B opened
- 34:31Speaker 13: yeah each Ermez box one by one to reveal a
- 34:34Speaker 13: hot pink Crocodile Kelly bag and extremely rare Fauberg Berken
- 34:39Speaker 13: and Offset captured the moment on video and shared the
- 34:41Speaker 13: videos on Instagram.
- 34:43Speaker 14: Happy belated birthday to Carti B.
- 34:47Speaker 3: And see this reminds me of.
- 34:50Speaker 14: A story you told us the other day.
- 34:53Speaker 13: On a recent interview on Kelly Rippa's podcast, Ryan Seacrest
- 34:57Speaker 13: was coerced to talk about an embarrassing thing that happened
- 35:00Speaker 13: to him.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Uh.
- 35:01Speaker 13: He opened up about the time he was forced to
- 35:03Speaker 13: evacuate Chris Jenner's bathroom after Steve he clogged her toilet
- 35:09Speaker 13: by accident. Okay, he caused her toilet to overflow. Uh
- 35:13Speaker 13: Seacres said, I was in the powder room. The toilet
- 35:17Speaker 13: was a contemporary, all black toilet. Then he said, he
- 35:21Speaker 13: he did what he had to do. He did what
- 35:23Speaker 13: he needed to do. Then he put the toilet paper
- 35:25Speaker 13: in the toilet, and the water level began to rise,
- 35:27Speaker 13: and he panicked. He couldn't stop sweating, he said. Then
- 35:31Speaker 13: the water began to settle down, and he quickly got
- 35:33Speaker 13: out of there. So I know you can relate to
- 35:35Speaker 13: this based on the story.
- 35:36Speaker 2: You tell what I did, though, I don't really appreciate
- 35:39Speaker 2: his story because first of all, he called it a
- 35:42Speaker 2: powder room. Yeah, when I'm in there doing damage, you
- 35:44Speaker 2: can no longer call this a powder room.
- 35:50Speaker 5: Everything. When I leave about today, it's just a damn toilet.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Powder room.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Was in the toilet. Oh you need gunpowder at one point?
- 36:09Speaker 2: What you're gonna thank you? You lead up in here,
- 36:11Speaker 2: But his whole story, I was in the powder room
- 36:13Speaker 2: right there, which means he ain't do no serious damage.
- 36:16Speaker 14: Ohs out, all right, thank you?
- 36:23Speaker 13: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, Junior has
- 36:25Speaker 13: a birthday poem for the birthday girl Carla.

- 54:17Speaker 1: Here it is.
- 54:17Speaker 5: It's a Strawberry Letter.
- 54:19Speaker 14: Thank you, neph you. Subject I can't keep lying about
- 54:22Speaker 14: my injury.
- 54:23Speaker 13: Dear Stephen Shirley, I am married to the craziest man
- 54:26Speaker 13: on the planet, and he's always looking to quote hit
- 54:30Speaker 13: a lick so he can retire early. We've been married
- 54:33Speaker 13: for seven years and we already have We have already
- 54:37Speaker 13: stopped sleeping together. It's a mutual thing and something that
- 54:40Speaker 13: we don't ever talk about. But just because we aren't
- 54:43Speaker 13: having sex, it doesn't mean he's not still madly in
- 54:46Speaker 13: love with me. That's why I'm careful with my side dude.
- 54:49Speaker 13: And we only have sex at work because I don't
- 54:53Speaker 13: know if my husband has a tracker on my car
- 54:55Speaker 13: or not. My co worker will stake out the men's
- 54:58Speaker 13: bathroom or he'll get the storage room for us and
- 55:01Speaker 13: then text me to come meet him on Friday. He
- 55:05Speaker 13: told me that we'd be in the men's bathroom. It
- 55:07Speaker 13: has urinals, so he usually has to hold me up
- 55:10Speaker 13: against the wall and we have sex like that. We
- 55:13Speaker 13: tried to lean on the sink this time, but it
- 55:16Speaker 13: wasn't sturdy enough and it tipped over a little bit
- 55:19Speaker 13: and I fell to the floor. I landed on my
- 55:22Speaker 13: left wrist and I broke my baby finger as I
- 55:25Speaker 13: braced myself for the fall. I managed to leave the
- 55:28Speaker 13: bathroom quietly, but in severe pain. I called a friend
- 55:33Speaker 13: of mine that is a pediatrician, and he hooked me
- 55:36Speaker 13: up without doing an insurance claim. I went home with
- 55:40Speaker 13: my hand bandaged, and since I'm fair skinned, my left
- 55:43Speaker 13: thigh was a dark purple color. I lied and told
- 55:47Speaker 13: my husband that I tripped over a box at work.
- 55:50Speaker 13: The first thing he asked was if I filed a claim.
- 55:54Speaker 13: He's more concerned about suing my job than he is
- 55:56Speaker 13: about my injury. I told him that it was my fault,
- 55:59Speaker 13: but he wants to file acclaim anyway. He told me
- 56:03Speaker 13: that he's going to talk to HR at my job
- 56:05Speaker 13: because they're supposed to pay for everything. He also wants
- 56:08Speaker 13: the paperwork from the doctor. I can't keep this lie
- 56:11Speaker 13: up much longer. He's getting suspicious. What should I tell him?
- 56:16Speaker 13: You know, see, that's the thing about lying right there.
- 56:19Speaker 13: You got to keep telling them.
- 56:20Speaker 12: You have to.
- 56:21Speaker 13: You especially have to keep the lies going now, because
- 56:24Speaker 13: if your husband finds out you've been having sex at work,
- 56:28Speaker 13: your whole marriage is going to blow up. I don't
- 56:31Speaker 13: care if you guys aren't having sex with each other.
- 56:34Speaker 13: He said, you and your husband aren't having sex, but
- 56:36Speaker 13: that doesn't mean he's still not madly in love with you.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Well, I don't think.
- 56:41Speaker 13: You know your husband wants to find out that you've
- 56:43Speaker 13: been having sex in the men's room down at the job.
- 56:48Speaker 13: This whole letter is just terrible because you're having sex
- 56:51Speaker 13: in the most disgusting places, the storage room at work,
- 56:54Speaker 13: the men's bathroom with urinals and all that. Nothing sexy
- 56:57Speaker 13: about that, just nasty. And what if a man comes
- 57:01Speaker 13: in there? What if men come into the men's bathroom,
- 57:04Speaker 13: you know, while you and your side dude are doing
- 57:08Speaker 13: the dude? Then what the only thing you can do
- 57:10Speaker 13: now is just stand your ground about not filing this
- 57:13Speaker 13: claim with your job and hope and pray that your
- 57:18Speaker 13: husband will eventually let this go. Because telling your husband
- 57:21Speaker 13: that you were having sex on the job with your
- 57:23Speaker 13: side dude co worker in the men's bathroom.
- 57:26Speaker 14: That's not an option at this point. It's just not
- 57:28Speaker 14: an option.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Steve, Oh my god. And you know, y'all people kill me.
- 57:33Speaker 5: Tell me.
- 57:34Speaker 2: I can't keep lying, Yes, you do. You have to
- 57:40Speaker 2: keep lying. I can't keep lying. Okay, go in there
- 57:44Speaker 2: and tell the truth. I keep telling y'all about this
- 57:48Speaker 2: damn truth. Y'all a listening to me. I can't keep lying.
- 57:53Speaker 2: You got too, you can't tell the truth. I see
- 57:58Speaker 2: y'all get mad at me because I'm a proponent of
- 58:02Speaker 2: the line. But then when you find yourself in this situation,
- 58:08Speaker 2: then you start to understand the importance of a lie,
- 58:12Speaker 2: the necessity of a lie, the need to lie, and
- 58:18Speaker 2: the most important thing, the reason.
- 58:25Speaker 5: Yes, you've covered all the bases with this lie.
- 58:28Speaker 2: That Shirley has said that going there and telling him
- 58:31Speaker 2: you having sex at work is not an option. She
- 58:34Speaker 2: know that, everybody know that, everybody heard this. You can't
- 58:38Speaker 2: go in there and say that every woman listened to
- 58:40Speaker 2: this that loves the truth. No, she can't go in
- 58:42Speaker 2: there and tell the truth.
- 58:46Speaker 5: So now why y'all mad at us when we lie?
- 58:49Speaker 5: But every woman listening to this right now knows she
- 58:54Speaker 5: cannot tell.
- 58:55Speaker 2: The truth, and you all are okay with it. This
- 59:00Speaker 2: is a lesson about yourself, all of y'all, nine hypocritical
- 59:07Speaker 2: people out there talking about I tell the truth no
- 59:09Speaker 2: matter what, Just tell me the truth.
- 59:11Speaker 5: Go on in there, tell your husband what you was doing,
- 59:15Speaker 5: how you really hurt your hands.
- 59:17Speaker 1: See, it's not an option. The lie is so necessary.
- 59:24Speaker 2: You're married to the craziest man on the planet. He
- 59:27Speaker 2: always looking to hit the lick so he can retire early,
- 59:30Speaker 2: been married seven years and we've already stopped sleeping together.
- 59:34Speaker 2: It's a mutual thing and something that we don't ever
- 59:36Speaker 2: even talk about. But just because we aren't having sex,
- 59:40Speaker 2: it doesn't mean he's not still madly in love with me.
- 59:42Speaker 5: Yes, it do.
- 59:43Speaker 2: That's exactly what it means. He ain in love with
- 59:45Speaker 2: Your answer, no more, How you don't see that what
- 59:48Speaker 2: you making up stuff for? It doesn't mean we not
- 59:52Speaker 2: madly in love with each other. Y'all ain't sleeping together. Now,
- 59:57Speaker 2: you down somewhere sleeping with this dude on your job.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Guess what, y'all ain't sleeping together. You don't think he's
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: sleeping with nobody?
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Is that what you think?
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: And you think that's because he's madly in love with you?
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: That's what you think? Girl by, girl by?
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: When we come back now, you want to tell me
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: that you're sleeping with this dude only at work because
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: you think he got a tracker on your car.
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: That's easy to find out, just like you got trackers.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: There's a device you can just buy at the spy
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: stove and run it next to your car and tell
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: you if you got track on it.
- 1:00:29Speaker 14: All right, Hang on Steeve, Well, I don't know nothing.
- 1:00:35Speaker 13: We'll come back to to recap this letter at twenty
- 1:00:38Speaker 13: three minutes after the hour. The subject today is I
- 1:00:41Speaker 13: can't keep lying about my injury. We'll get back into
- 1:00:44Speaker 13: it right after this.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:00:48Speaker 13: Morning show, All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:51Speaker 13: Strawberry letter. The subject is, I can't keep lying about
- 1:00:54Speaker 13: my injury.
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: Well, go tell the truth.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: You can't do that, ladies, all of you hypocritical people
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: who are listening to this show.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: I don't lie.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Don't lie to me, tell me the truth. You can't
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: handle the truth and lying is necessary. So since you
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: are such a big proponent of telling the truth, and
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: your letter says I can't keep lying, it's time for
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: you to go in there and tell the truth. Here's
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: a woman been married seven years. Her and her husband
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: has stopped sleeping together. It's a mutual thing and something
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: that we don't ever talk about what y'all don't even
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: mention it. But just because we aren't having sex, it
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: doesn't mean he's not still madly in love with me.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: That's exactly what that means. He been out of love
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: with you. Y'all don't even talk about not having sex.
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: Y'all, just don't have it.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: See you delusional because you center you're talking about it
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: doesn't mean he's not still madly in love with me.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: You ain't madly in love with him. I got news
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: for it, you know why. That's why I'm careful with
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: my side, dude. And we only have sex at work
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: because I don't know if my husband has a track
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: on my car. Now, my coworker will stake out the
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: men's bathroom or he'll get the storage room for us
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: and then text me to come meet him on Friday.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: He told me that we be in the men's bathroom.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: It has urinos, so he usually has to hold me
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: up against the wall and we have sex like that.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: We tried to lean on the sink this time, but
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: it wasn't sturdy enough and it tipped over a little
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: bit and I fell on the floor. I laid it
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: on my left wrist and I broke my baby finger
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: and I braced myself for the fall. I managed to
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: leave the bathroom quietly, but it's severe pain. What Yeah,
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: you ain't got no damn respect for yourself. You just
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: a piece your side, dude, You a side. Peace you're
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: the side you like. You like that other stuff at Popeye's.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: That ain't the chicken. Don't nobody go to Popeye's cause
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: of the size. They going there for the chicken. Now
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: they got nice sides, but that Popeye got chicken on
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: it ain't none of the side. Popeye's chicken and biscuits.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: That's what's on the sign. If you ain't the chicken
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: or the biscuit, you are not the star of this
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: damn show. Waffer House, the star at the waffle houses
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: them damn waffles. Don't go in down and get that
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: flat ass steak. It ain't on the sign. International House
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: of Pancakes. The star of these shows is they pancakes.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: Don't go in there or the spaghetti dinner. That ain't
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: on the sign. Now they got it, but that ain't
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: on the side. You the side piece. That's why you
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: up against the wall on urinals. Your sex life is
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: in storage rooms, buckets, supplies. You ain't even in the
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: bed nowhere. You ain't even got a room. Down at
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: the motor end. Pull up your car to the door
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: and dress from your trunk or your car. You ain't
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: even in that club. You just in the trash room. Hey,
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: I washed out a dumpstone my lunch break. Beat it
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: down here pretty much, and you take your stupid ass
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: down there. Now you just set your ass up on
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: the sink. It then snapped. Now you done broke your finger.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: Now I went home my hand bandaged, and since I'm
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: fast skinned, my left eye got a dark purple color
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: on it. I lied and told my husband I tripped
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: over a box at work. So now you work in
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: a factory of some sort. I just figured that out,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: because now you're in the supply room, or you in
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: the men's bathroom, so you're in some type of warehouse setting,
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: because now you're tripping over boxes, all right. First thing
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: he asked was I have a fire to complained. He's
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: more concerned about suing my job than he is about
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: my injury. You already got the injury. He t make
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: some money. The man that's steal madly in love with you?
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: You think that who really don't give a damn about you?
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: How could we turn this into a check. He't asked
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: you nothing about how you did it. I told him
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: it was my fault, but he wants to claim anyway.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: He told me he gonna go and talk to my
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: HR my job because they supposed to pay for everything.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: He also wants some paperwork from the doctor. I can't
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: keep this lou up much longer. He's getting suspicious. What
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: should I tell him?
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: This is what you do.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: You tell him you fell over at the box. Then
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: you tell him you went in at a HR. Then
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: you get you some fake paperwork that shows you file
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: a complaint at your job. That's easy to do. All
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: you got to do is ask the HR for if
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: you want to file a complaint. They'll give you the paperwork.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Tell him you want to remain anonymous. You get the paperwork,
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: you fill it out. Now you already said that. I
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: called a friend of mine that's a pediatrician and he
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: hooked me up without doing any insurance claim. So you
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: already got people that already know how to lie. Now,
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: the reason he did that for you because he want
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: to holler at you anyway. So now you call your
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: friend up and tell him you need a little medical
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: report for your husband because you're working on something. And
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: he gonna look at you with that little winking as
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: I and he gonna want something in exchange for that.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: But you ain't got no problem with exchanging it. Because
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: you get you get slept with on top of yours
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: and the storage for us. So you might as well
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: just go on see what doc talking about too? Gone,
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: get your little paperwork claiming now you have everything you need.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: You have an HR report, you have a medical prop
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: from the doctor and you tell him you feel it out,
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: and you're just waiting for the settlement. I can't keep
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: this lie up much longer. You have got to keep
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: this lie up. You have no damn choice.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Lie Lie, Lie, Lie lie? What is gone with it?
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: Nobody else write me talking about they want your.
- 1:06:53Speaker 13: Truth on Instagram, Steve Harvey FM and check us out

- 1:10:43Speaker 13: other day and my husband was in the den on
- 1:10:45Speaker 13: the phone. He was talking really low, so it made
- 1:10:48Speaker 13: me wonder who.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: He was talking to.
- 1:10:51Speaker 13: I started listening at the kitchen door, and he was
- 1:10:53Speaker 13: saying that his catering business is successful and he has
- 1:10:57Speaker 13: an amazing girl that cooks for him, and she's on
- 1:11:00Speaker 13: her luck, so he's letting her crash at his place
- 1:11:03Speaker 13: for a while. I don't know if he lost his
- 1:11:05Speaker 13: entire mind or if this is a prank. I checked
- 1:11:09Speaker 13: his call log and there was a number that I
- 1:11:11Speaker 13: didn't recognize in his phone, so I wrote it down.
- 1:11:15Speaker 13: So I'm asking Uncle Steve and the prank expert nephew Tommy.
- 1:11:20Speaker 13: Should I call the number back or let my husband
- 1:11:23Speaker 13: know that I heard him?
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Which one?
