- 1:55Speaker 6: Come come on, you're think.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will?
- 2:03Speaker 6: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 7: Y're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 7: one and only Steve Harvey, I got a radio show,
- 2:13Speaker 7: just trying to give God.
- 2:15Speaker 6: Some back, just some back of what he even gave me,
- 2:20Speaker 6: just a portion, you know.
- 2:21Speaker 7: Just I'm just trying, man to to show some type
- 2:26Speaker 7: of gratitude for all his blessings. I'm just trying to, man,
- 2:32Speaker 7: just just get it right sometimes, you know what I mean.
- 2:36Speaker 7: I mean, man, you just can't do what you want
- 2:38Speaker 7: to do and just live wrong all the time. Man,
- 2:41Speaker 7: you got it at one point in time, Steve, come home. Man,
- 2:44Speaker 7: come on, man, you could do better.
- 2:46Speaker 8: I know you can.
- 2:47Speaker 7: You know say, and you know what I had to do.
- 2:50Speaker 7: I had to stop saying I'm gonna try to do better.
- 2:53Speaker 7: And I just had to say, hey, man, I'm going
- 2:55Speaker 7: to do better. You know, trying is just to put
- 2:59Speaker 7: forth in effing If it don't work, well okay. But
- 3:02Speaker 7: if you make up in your mind that I'm going
- 3:04Speaker 7: to do something, then trying isn't enough. It's getting it
- 3:08Speaker 7: done is the only thing that matters. See, it's the
- 3:10Speaker 7: difference between doing and trying. We're gonna try to win
- 3:14Speaker 7: the game, or we're gonna go out here to win
- 3:16Speaker 7: the game. Now, trying to win the game means that
- 3:18Speaker 7: you could lose. But when you got in your mind
- 3:21Speaker 7: made up, most athletes will tell you that they go
- 3:24Speaker 7: out there with the full intent and purpose of winning
- 3:27Speaker 7: and winning only see they don't put the second place
- 3:31Speaker 7: finish on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
- 3:33Speaker 6: Second place don't get you there.
- 3:35Speaker 1: You you got to win.
- 3:37Speaker 7: And now take it out of the scope of athletics,
- 3:39Speaker 7: but keep it in that type of analogy in life. Man,
- 3:43Speaker 7: you just want to you want to win in life,
- 3:45Speaker 7: don't you. I mean, at the end of the day,
- 3:47Speaker 7: don't you want to be on the cover of Sports
- 3:49Speaker 7: Illustrated of life? Don't you want to be recognized for
- 3:52Speaker 7: your hard work? Don't you want, you know, to be
- 3:56Speaker 7: recognized within the bonus structure down at your job. Don't
- 3:59Speaker 7: you want to have your plaque up on the wall
- 4:01Speaker 7: down at your job? I mean most people do. Some
- 4:04Speaker 7: people could care less. Some people don't care about looking
- 4:07Speaker 7: good or being their best.
- 4:08Speaker 6: And that's cool.
- 4:08Speaker 7: But I ain't talking to them though. I'm talking to you.
- 4:11Speaker 7: I'm talking to those of you who want to be
- 4:14Speaker 7: the best you can be. You know, people kill me
- 4:16Speaker 7: when they getting mad at people. And he Brown knows
- 4:20Speaker 7: and he all up on the employee of the month man,
- 4:22Speaker 7: the dude doing his job to the best of his ability,
- 4:25Speaker 7: and he getting recognized for it?
- 4:26Speaker 6: What they got to do with all that you talking about?
- 4:28Speaker 6: Because you ain't up there there.
- 4:29Speaker 7: It's amazing, man, how people describe other people's success. He's
- 4:33Speaker 7: so lucky, lucky? Hey man, do they kind of get
- 4:37Speaker 7: you a little bit when people call you lucky? Well,
- 4:39Speaker 7: let me tell you what luck really is, y'all. Lucky
- 4:42Speaker 7: is when hard work bumps up into opportunity. Some people
- 4:46Speaker 7: call that luck.
- 4:47Speaker 6: But hold on, let's think about this.
- 4:50Speaker 7: If you wasn't working hard, an opportunity presented itself, what
- 4:54Speaker 7: would you call that? But see, when you've been working
- 4:56Speaker 7: hard and opportunity presents itself and it bumps up in
- 4:59Speaker 7: each other. Now people want to call that luck, but
- 5:02Speaker 7: hold up here, go to park though to day, ain't
- 5:04Speaker 7: paying no attention to Yeah, that opportunity came by, But
- 5:06Speaker 7: if you had not been working hard, and the hard work.
- 5:09Speaker 6: Had not ran up in the opportunity, what would you have? No, sir,
- 5:12Speaker 6: it's not luck, it's work.
- 5:14Speaker 7: It is work, because there's a scripture that says faith
- 5:18Speaker 7: without works is dead. But my mama was a Sunday
- 5:22Speaker 7: school teacher. She taught me enough. Though Now I know
- 5:25Speaker 7: different between right and wrong, just like you do. You
- 5:28Speaker 7: ain't got to you know. It kills me when people
- 5:30Speaker 7: write a strawberry letter?
- 5:31Speaker 6: Am I wrong for this?
- 5:32Speaker 9: You know? Good?
- 5:32Speaker 1: Well, look at listen read your letter?
- 5:35Speaker 6: Are you wrong for this?
- 5:36Speaker 1: You know you're wrong?
- 5:37Speaker 7: What you don't need else to be telling you know?
- 5:39Speaker 7: But I'm gonna do this anyway. Well else, hee, Go ahead, though,
- 5:42Speaker 7: do what you want to do. But you know what, y'all,
- 5:45Speaker 7: here's the best advice I can give you. And this
- 5:46Speaker 7: is what I really came to talk about this morning,
- 5:49Speaker 7: but I got sidetracked because I listened. Get out of
- 5:54Speaker 7: your own way. So many of us are blocking our home.
- 5:57Speaker 7: Blessings were just in our own We are in our
- 6:02Speaker 7: own way. And one of the most dangerous ways you
- 6:05Speaker 7: can get in your way is to do it your way,
- 6:09Speaker 7: to get it figured your way, and to lock in
- 6:12Speaker 7: on your way. And this the way it's got to go.
- 6:15Speaker 7: Do you know how many people are blocking their blessing?
- 6:18Speaker 7: Do you know how long I block mind with that
- 6:21Speaker 7: mindset right there? Look, because this the way you do it,
- 6:25Speaker 7: You think that makes it the right way? You think jazz,
- 6:28Speaker 7: cause you the thought on it long and hard, and
- 6:30Speaker 7: that's what you really want. Do you really think that
- 6:33Speaker 7: your way is the right way or could that be
- 6:34Speaker 7: a better way?
- 6:36Speaker 6: See?
- 6:36Speaker 7: Until I started listening to God and started paying attention
- 6:40Speaker 7: to his way, man, I was spinning my wheels. Man,
- 6:43Speaker 7: I was out here so determined this how I was
- 6:46Speaker 7: gonna do it. But you know I had to learn
- 6:48Speaker 7: how to get out of my own way because just
- 6:50Speaker 7: because I could do it my way didn't mean it
- 6:53Speaker 7: was the right way. I had to get out of
- 6:56Speaker 7: my own way. Just get out your way, man, Now,
- 7:02Speaker 7: what what does that mean? That means, See, set your goals,
- 7:08Speaker 7: That means have your dreams. I'm saying, set your goals. Man,
- 7:14Speaker 7: I ain't saying don't set goals.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Listen to me.
- 7:16Speaker 7: Set your goals. What is it you want to happen?
- 7:18Speaker 7: What is it you like to have, What is it
- 7:20Speaker 7: you like to be? What do you aspire to? Set
- 7:24Speaker 7: your goals and set your dreams. Now, take your goals
- 7:28Speaker 7: and your dreams to God and ask God to show
- 7:33Speaker 7: you how. Man, you can save yourself a lot of pain.
- 7:38Speaker 7: Listen to somebody who did it his way for so long.
- 7:42Speaker 7: And when I finally got out of my way, out
- 7:44Speaker 7: of my own way. When you've heard old people say,
- 7:48Speaker 7: let go and let God, you've heard them say that
- 7:51Speaker 7: I didn't. I didn't get it, but I got it.
- 7:53Speaker 7: Now let go and let God. And it's amazing little saying.
- 7:58Speaker 7: Though now you know you may not get it now.
- 8:00Speaker 7: It took me a bunch of years to get it too.
- 8:02Speaker 7: But when I took my goals and my dreams and
- 8:05Speaker 7: my vision to God and I said, God, this is
- 8:08Speaker 7: what I hope for, this is what I aspired to,
- 8:11Speaker 7: this is what I want to be, this is why
- 8:12Speaker 7: I would love to get to. Then I said, help
- 8:16Speaker 7: me show me how. Point me in the right direction.
- 8:20Speaker 7: Let me follow your footsteps. Guide me and give me
- 8:24Speaker 7: a spirit of discernment. Show me who wrong because I
- 8:27Speaker 7: meet people every day. Ain't up to no good with
- 8:29Speaker 7: me every single day. Oh man, Man, I can't believe
- 8:34Speaker 7: I wanna be in you. Man, the Lord told me
- 8:36Speaker 7: something was gonna happen to me today. Well, see, I
- 8:39Speaker 7: talk to him every day. He did not mention you
- 8:41Speaker 7: to me. He ain't said nothing to me. He didn't
- 8:44Speaker 7: tell me what was gonna happen in mine. Now I
- 8:46Speaker 7: don't mean it can't happen because I'm open to it.
- 8:49Speaker 7: So really, man, I'm p and please know I'm listening
- 8:53Speaker 7: as well as I've ever listened before. But get yourself together, though,
- 8:58Speaker 7: see know your goals and your dream and then let
- 9:00Speaker 7: God show you how to do it.
- 9:02Speaker 6: He'll do it. You know.
- 9:03Speaker 7: It's so important everybody, that you get focused, that you
- 9:07Speaker 7: aim for something, that you dream of, something, that you
- 9:10Speaker 7: aspire to something.
- 9:12Speaker 6: But it's the most the best thing you can do.
- 9:14Speaker 6: After you do all that, Man, get God involved in it. Man,
- 9:18Speaker 6: talk to him. I mean, why would you not what
- 9:20Speaker 6: you got to lose. You ain't got to go down
- 9:22Speaker 6: there and make no big.
- 9:23Speaker 7: Scene and run laps around the church and run up
- 9:26Speaker 7: there and throw yourself on the altar and scream and
- 9:29Speaker 7: flip over and throw money in the ad. You ain't
- 9:31Speaker 7: got to do that. This you and God, man, This
- 9:33Speaker 7: you and God. You know you got to serve and
- 9:36Speaker 7: praise Him the way you do it. You gotta let
- 9:38Speaker 7: nobody else tell you how it's done. It's a personal relationship.
- 9:41Speaker 7: People kill me if you don't do it this way.
- 9:43Speaker 7: If you don't come here to this church and you
- 9:45Speaker 7: don't run around in this circle and you don't get
- 9:46Speaker 7: flipped in the an, you don't. Hey, man, you better
- 9:49Speaker 7: go have a relationship with God. See what that's about,
- 9:51Speaker 7: you understand, or nobody throw you off with all that?
- 9:53Speaker 7: All right, all right, y'all talk to him. He love
- 9:55Speaker 7: to hear from you.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Today. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:05Speaker 7: You know what, it's another day, and I just got
- 10:09Speaker 7: to tell you this, man, I'm more and more impressed.
- 10:13Speaker 7: It seems the older I get on. Really just how
- 10:17Speaker 7: good God is? I guess because I've seen improve it
- 10:21Speaker 7: to me over and over and over so many times.
- 10:24Speaker 7: I think that's a part of it. But I think
- 10:26Speaker 7: it's also a part of it that I've come to
- 10:29Speaker 7: a realization.
- 10:31Speaker 10: More and more.
- 10:34Speaker 7: That it really is just him. It just really ain't
- 10:37Speaker 7: nobody else. Now, he'll send you some people every now
- 10:40Speaker 7: and then. That's pretty cool, you understanding you'll have them
- 10:44Speaker 7: for a long long time. I found that the majority
- 10:48Speaker 7: of people in my life, the vast majority, have been
- 10:51Speaker 7: in for just short spells, periods and times. And I
- 10:54Speaker 7: do appreciate the ones he's given me that has lasted.
- 10:57Speaker 7: But the only one that I can truly say it
- 11:00Speaker 7: has been that every single step of the way, know
- 11:02Speaker 7: all the moves, the shakedowns, the secrets, that's him and
- 11:07Speaker 7: the fact that he keep waking me up anyway, after
- 11:11Speaker 7: all he know about me. Boy, Bye, ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:15Speaker 7: the greatest of all time, our heavenly father, you are
- 11:19Speaker 7: to thank you for that. Steve Harlan Mornay Show Show,

- 12:05Speaker 2: And this is my blessing that the Lord has put
- 12:06Speaker 2: in my life. Therefore it ain't for you, can't you?
- 12:10Speaker 2: You need to ask your uncle Steve, the one you know.
- 12:13Speaker 2: And by the way, his name is mister Harvey. He's

- 17:36Speaker 9: want to get to the airport or nine?
- 17:38Speaker 13: Look, why don't you lay down next to the body
- 17:40Speaker 13: and you drive yourself there and there with the body
- 17:42Speaker 13: like in the pass of the sea. I'm not doing that.
- 17:45Speaker 9: Tell me what the problem is.
- 17:46Speaker 13: I mean, obviously you used to driving around with bodies,
- 17:49Speaker 13: and that's not my thing.
- 17:50Speaker 9: You know what I'm saying. What's the problem. I mean,
- 17:52Speaker 9: you're gonna be in the front of the hers. You're
- 17:54Speaker 9: not gonna be in the back. We'll put the bodies
- 17:56Speaker 9: in the back with your luggage in the back. I mean,
- 17:58Speaker 9: that'll be fine. Right, you're my man. You're tripping, man,
- 18:01Speaker 9: this is crazy.
- 18:02Speaker 13: You're calling the wrong with this crazy book.
- 18:05Speaker 9: Dude. I'm not doing none of that.
- 18:07Speaker 13: What part of that don't you understand?
- 18:09Speaker 9: I'm going to get you there on time, sir, but
- 18:11Speaker 9: it's going to be in a hearse that's all the
- 18:14Speaker 9: difference is, man, So you'll be.
- 18:15Speaker 13: Riding the hurst when I'm supposed to be laid out
- 18:18Speaker 13: in it. You know what I'm saying.
- 18:19Speaker 14: Right now?
- 18:20Speaker 9: You got me fixed up?
- 18:21Speaker 13: What kind of phone call is this?
- 18:23Speaker 5: We?
- 18:23Speaker 9: I mean, what's the problem.
- 18:25Speaker 13: Obviously you're used to rolling with dead bodies and hearses
- 18:28Speaker 13: and all that. Since winning over, start rolling with hearses
- 18:33Speaker 13: to pick up regular lives to get them from place
- 18:36Speaker 13: to place.
- 18:37Speaker 14: This is some crazy I want you to think.
- 18:40Speaker 13: When when did you think that it would just be
- 18:43Speaker 13: cool as a regular picking up a body and just
- 18:46Speaker 13: driving around in the street.
- 18:48Speaker 9: I don't know, man, I mean, you know, I got
- 18:50Speaker 9: two jobs, you know what I'm saying. I do uber,
- 18:52Speaker 9: you know, and I also, you know, work for a mortuary.
- 18:55Speaker 9: You know what I'm saying. So you know, but my
- 18:57Speaker 9: vehicle IS is certified and who approved it so I'm
- 19:02Speaker 9: able to use it as an su vida.
- 19:04Speaker 14: So you you call them is and you gave it
- 19:06Speaker 14: rides a lot more and they don't have no reaction,
- 19:10Speaker 14: no reaction to riding around with a body in the back.
- 19:15Speaker 9: Well, you know, uh, sometimes there's a few people acting
- 19:18Speaker 9: a little you know little it's a little different for him.
- 19:20Speaker 9: I get it, you know, But like I said, the
- 19:22Speaker 9: only reason why I'm calling you.
- 19:24Speaker 13: Obviously you don't get that because you're trying to hit
- 19:26Speaker 13: me with a fifty dollars month in charge that I'm
- 19:30Speaker 13: not I'm not going for and you trying to get
- 19:32Speaker 13: me to ride with the dead body. Dude, I'm not
- 19:35Speaker 13: doing that.
- 19:35Speaker 9: Sh So, I tell you what, bro, I'm gonna tell
- 19:37Speaker 9: you this right here. I'm gonna get off the phone.

- 19:49Speaker 9: seven am. You understand. Just be ready for that.

- 20:04Speaker 9: you don't know.
- 20:04Speaker 14: Who Tommy is?
- 20:06Speaker 9: No, I don't.

- 22:07Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 22:09Speaker 12: In entertainment News, Gail King conquered her fear and revealed
- 22:13Speaker 12: whether she will go up in space again one oh
- 22:16Speaker 12: five point three wdas in Philly Baby, gave Leyla Hathaway
- 22:21Speaker 12: and Sherry Shepherd their flowers, and what's up with ray
- 22:24Speaker 12: j and Prince's loves on and off again relationship. We'll
- 22:27Speaker 12: talk about all of these stories at the top of
- 22:30Speaker 12: the hour, but right now it is time to ask
- 22:33Speaker 12: the CLO our chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 22:36Speaker 12: This is from Tyrrell and Birmingham. Tyrell writes, my wife
- 22:40Speaker 12: and I ran into a girl I had sex with
- 22:42Speaker 12: recently and she did not know I'm married. She called
- 22:45Speaker 12: me crying uncontrollably. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, she.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Didn't know it.
- 22:50Speaker 12: Yeah, she called me crying uncontrollably. I don't like hurting
- 22:54Speaker 12: women like that, but I do love an occasional hookup. Okay,
- 23:00Speaker 12: is it best to tell the women that I'm married?
- 23:06Speaker 1: Listen to me. I want you all to see the
- 23:10Speaker 1: world that we live in.
- 23:13Speaker 9: Do you?
- 23:13Speaker 7: He repeatedly the same thing. I'm here these letters and
- 23:18Speaker 7: texts that we get, calls that are more and more bizarre,
- 23:24Speaker 7: but they are sounding more and more normalized. It's like, hey, man,
- 23:30Speaker 7: I had such to this girl and I ran up
- 23:32Speaker 7: into it and yes with my wife, and then she
- 23:36Speaker 7: called me crying uncontrollably. I don't like to hurt women
- 23:41Speaker 7: right there? Y, yeah, I don't like to hurt women soul,
- 23:47Speaker 7: But you know, how do I like? Should I start?
- 23:52Speaker 7: But while like an occasional hook up though, telling these
- 23:55Speaker 7: women I'm married?
- 23:57Speaker 9: What?
- 24:00Speaker 1: No, brot.
- 24:03Speaker 7: It's not like I haven't heard of cheating before, nothing new.
- 24:08Speaker 7: Think that I'm trying to be hind mighty, I'm not
- 24:13Speaker 7: you now, listen, I'm gonna say something very rare, very rare.
- 24:18Speaker 7: So recording.
- 24:20Speaker 1: What're you about to say?
- 24:22Speaker 6: You have to start telling these women you are married?
- 24:30Speaker 1: Yeah? Give him the option, Please give him the option.
- 24:34Speaker 6: I love it yet, and it is the same truth
- 24:38Speaker 6: that you are telling your wife.
- 24:41Speaker 5: What is he?
- 24:42Speaker 1: What's that truth?
- 24:44Speaker 6: If I am married?
- 24:47Speaker 1: I am married. That's the truth, that's the truth. Yeah,
- 24:53Speaker 1: the option? Yeah yeah, all right.
- 24:56Speaker 6: No, this is not giving them the option.
- 25:00Speaker 9: This is.
- 25:02Speaker 7: The one of the rare moments that I recommend your truth.
- 25:10Speaker 7: But I also would like to tell you this right here,
- 25:13Speaker 7: that your end is very near. All right. I don't
- 25:21Speaker 7: know what circle you rolling in, but you running up
- 25:23Speaker 7: into him with your wife. Boy, boy, the end is
- 25:28Speaker 7: coming near.
- 25:31Speaker 12: No judgment though, no judgment, all right. Moving on to
- 25:34Speaker 12: essence and Queens essence rights. I have a ring camera
- 25:38Speaker 12: with all of the videos of a woman coming to
- 25:40Speaker 12: see my neighbor while his wife is at work. His
- 25:44Speaker 12: wife told me that she thinks he's cheating, and she
- 25:46Speaker 12: asked if I'd seen anything. Am I obligated to tell
- 25:51Speaker 12: this woman what I've seen?
- 25:53Speaker 11: Wow?
- 25:53Speaker 6: Now is this a man that wrote this letter?
- 25:55Speaker 1: No, this is essence out of Queens, straight out of Okay.
- 26:00Speaker 6: She's got a phone, a ring camera on the thing
- 26:04Speaker 6: on her door.
- 26:05Speaker 1: The man is coming to see her. No, no, no,
- 26:09Speaker 1: he's coming to know the woman.
- 26:11Speaker 12: A woman is coming to see her next door neighbor,
- 26:14Speaker 12: which is a man right, a marriage right.
- 26:20Speaker 1: So how does this woman have the footage?
- 26:25Speaker 7: Because she's got a ring camera, you can see all
- 26:28Speaker 7: she can see across the street or something like that.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Across a security gate. He doesn't have a ring camera, guy, don't.
- 26:39Speaker 7: Matter of fact, I don't even have a dope. Bill
- 26:43Speaker 7: you got people? You have a security guard.
- 26:47Speaker 1: This is no way, It is no way. You at
- 26:50Speaker 1: the door. Do you know how much security we have
- 26:57Speaker 1: to go through to get to your house? That ain't
- 27:00Speaker 1: nobody say I dropped by.
- 27:02Speaker 9: I'll do.
- 27:06Speaker 1: I'm at the dope. Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 12: So to put it in perspective, Steve her Ring camera
- 27:11Speaker 12: shows everything around you know, that's coming toward her.
- 27:15Speaker 1: So she can see all.
- 27:16Speaker 6: Well, did the lady asked her?
- 27:19Speaker 1: The lady did? The lady said she thinks her husband
- 27:22Speaker 1: is cheating, and she asked her point blank, has she
- 27:25Speaker 1: seen anything? So that's why the woman is asking you, Celo.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Is she obligated to tell her?
- 27:31Speaker 6: I think you should tell her the truth. I haven't. No, listen,
- 27:36Speaker 6: listen to me, I haven't seen anything.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Oh oh oh that's true. That's your truth.
- 27:44Speaker 6: She didn't ask you what your camera saw.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Oh, but leaving details omitting.
- 27:54Speaker 7: Because you're going to get in some business and you're
- 27:57Speaker 7: gonna get drugg in it.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Yeah, so.
- 28:01Speaker 6: You're gonna be in court. I'm just telling you right now.
- 28:06Speaker 1: As a character witness.
- 28:08Speaker 6: All right, Yeah, we got movie.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Got two stupid husbands so far. What's yeah?
- 28:12Speaker 12: Yeah yeah, moving on to Bobby. Come on now, Bobby
- 28:15Speaker 12: and Fort Lauderdale. He says, I own a car wash,
- 28:19Speaker 12: and without knowing, I hired my sister's baby daddy to
- 28:22Speaker 12: work for me. My sisters thinks she should get his
- 28:24Speaker 12: paychecks because he owes her child support. But I can't
- 28:28Speaker 12: legally do that. She stops speaking to me. My mom said,
- 28:31Speaker 12: I need to fire him, but he's my best employee.
- 28:34Speaker 1: What should I do?
- 28:37Speaker 7: Ladies, ladies, ladies, that don't make no sense. This man
- 28:42Speaker 7: legally cannot take this man's money and send it to you.
- 28:45Speaker 7: He'll get in trouble. Yeah, if you fire him, he
- 28:49Speaker 7: won't have no money. Y'all got to stop letting this
- 28:53Speaker 7: emotion get in the wait. Why don't you now go
- 28:56Speaker 7: to child support and say I got a child to
- 29:00Speaker 7: you he's working.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Yeah, file y file, Yeah you can't.
- 29:05Speaker 12: But Bobby and Fort Lauderdale is upset because his sister
- 29:09Speaker 12: is not speaking to him.
- 29:11Speaker 6: That's because his sister got the emotion and listen to me.
- 29:14Speaker 7: You know all your sister, no child, suppose, but you
- 29:18Speaker 7: can't find your best worker, right.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Yeah. But the mom is in it too, saying he
- 29:24Speaker 1: should fire him. The baby dad is because it's too young. Yeah, emotional,
- 29:32Speaker 1: double emotion, he's too young.
- 29:35Speaker 7: Yeah, all right, now the logic kids, I got a
- 29:39Speaker 7: great employee here.
- 29:41Speaker 12: Yeah, we're making money, all right. Last one, Steve, This
- 29:44Speaker 12: is from Monique in Germantown. Monique says, my daughter is
- 29:47Speaker 12: dating one of my late husband's friends, and he treats
- 29:50Speaker 12: her well, but he's too old for her. She stopped
- 29:53Speaker 12: hanging with her friends. She goes on double dates with
- 29:55Speaker 12: her old man and ladies.
- 29:57Speaker 1: My age. Now the spunkiness being z out of her.
- 30:01Speaker 1: She's only thirty two years old. Is it out of
- 30:04Speaker 1: my hand?
- 30:05Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 30:05Speaker 7: But you can talk to her about it at Bengoe
- 30:08Speaker 7: night all catch it down at the tavern.
- 30:15Speaker 12: All right, at the tavern, all right, thank you. Colo
- 30:18Speaker 12: coming up at the top of the hour. We'll have
- 30:20Speaker 12: some entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening, Steve.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:31Speaker 12: CBS Morning's co host Gail King returned safely to Earth
- 30:34Speaker 12: on Monday after a ten minute journey to the edge
- 30:38Speaker 12: of space with an all woman crew aboard Blue Origins
- 30:41Speaker 12: New Shepherd spacecraft. Gail said, I'm so proud of me
- 30:45Speaker 12: right now. She said this shortly after landing and kissing
- 30:48Speaker 12: the ground. According to CBS News, the spacecraft reached an
- 30:52Speaker 12: altitude of close to three hundred and forty seven thousand feet,
- 30:56Speaker 12: with the mission lasting ten minutes and twenty one seconds.
- 31:00Speaker 12: Launched the landing, the crew experienced weightlessness and viewed Earth
- 31:04Speaker 12: from a unique perspective. We have all seen the memes
- 31:06Speaker 12: about Gail because she looked so afraid when she rang
- 31:10Speaker 12: the bell before boarding the spacecraft, and yes she did.
- 31:13Speaker 9: Yes she did.
- 31:14Speaker 12: However, However, Gail faced her fears and stepped out from
- 31:20Speaker 12: her comfort zone and said she would consider doing it again.
- 31:24Speaker 1: What she's going again? Maybe you just going to space?
- 31:29Speaker 6: Nasteve when you going?
- 31:30Speaker 9: Man?
- 31:31Speaker 1: Michael Strahan did it too?
- 31:35Speaker 7: Yes, both of these people single. What you say, but
- 31:42Speaker 7: I said, both them people sinkle. Gail did it, Michael
- 31:46Speaker 7: Strahand did it?
- 31:47Speaker 1: Ain't going? Then they have children?
- 31:52Speaker 7: They they single? You ain't got that person telling you
- 31:56Speaker 7: you ain't going nowhere?
- 31:57Speaker 1: Oh they got to run it by somebody. Bezos. Fiance
- 32:04Speaker 1: went up Lauren Sanchez, she's single, Yeah, but he was
- 32:08Speaker 1: right there. What what what are you gonna do? Ain't
- 32:13Speaker 1: she younger than him?
- 32:14Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 32:15Speaker 1: It's his spaceship. Uh yeah, he owns it and and
- 32:18Speaker 1: did all that.
- 32:20Speaker 6: Yeah, okay you went up.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Now you thinking about doing it again?
- 32:24Speaker 6: Okay? Why is why is we why is we still
- 32:26Speaker 6: talking about?
- 32:27Speaker 1: Okay?
- 32:27Speaker 8: Have you done?
- 32:28Speaker 1: Have you ever just stepped out of your comfort zone
- 32:30Speaker 1: to do anything?
- 32:31Speaker 5: You know?
- 32:32Speaker 1: Because that's the point here that Gil faced her feet.
- 32:35Speaker 6: Yes, okay, what have you?
- 32:36Speaker 7: Yes, sir, I did when I was young and I
- 32:39Speaker 7: used to walk past Larry Singleton's house and he had
- 32:41Speaker 7: that German shepherd ninty ten.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I went right by that house. Man.
- 32:45Speaker 6: You don't know what that was for me?
- 32:47Speaker 5: You fa?
- 32:49Speaker 9: So how did you?
- 32:49Speaker 1: Because I have missed the whole because of that dog
- 32:52Speaker 1: down the street, because you couldn't go past the house.
- 32:55Speaker 7: Yeah, I'll just go I'm just gonna go up street
- 32:58Speaker 7: and play ball to school, let out. But I wasn't
- 33:01Speaker 7: going down there. And then I went down there.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Uh, huh, and what happened you? Pat King became King
- 33:08Speaker 1: the dog King?
- 33:10Speaker 6: King did what he supposed to do. He chased me.
- 33:13Speaker 11: Oh, so, how did you get out your comfort zone?
- 33:17Speaker 11: You went by there every day an.
- 33:19Speaker 6: Trying to understand. No, I didn't.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I never got out of my comfort zone. I just
- 33:23Speaker 1: kept conking it.
- 33:26Speaker 6: Chase you. You don't. You don't ever forget that. I
- 33:29Speaker 6: just kept going down there.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Wants to go back again? Okay maybe yeah, no, But she.
- 33:38Speaker 7: Was an upside for me. I discovered my true speed.
- 33:42Speaker 7: I had never went at top speed before King pushed
- 33:46Speaker 7: me to my maximum. That's when I first learned that
- 33:51Speaker 7: trials and tribulation will bring out the best in you.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Oh and you were how old?
- 33:59Speaker 9: Oh?
- 34:00Speaker 11: And by.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Moving seeing?
- 34:06Speaker 6: How did Gail come off that ship and say anything
- 34:09Speaker 6: like that?
- 34:10Speaker 7: That was heart moving, heartfelt, and then the hood could
- 34:14Speaker 7: relate to Then she said anything.
- 34:16Speaker 6: She came out there and kissed the ground. No, I'm
- 34:17Speaker 6: not care what gay y'all do no.
- 34:19Speaker 12: More, she said, I'm so proud of me right now.
- 34:22Speaker 12: That's what she said, because she faced.
- 34:24Speaker 6: Her She not more proud of herself than I was
- 34:27Speaker 6: when I got past King kiss to me?
- 34:33Speaker 7: Why the only problem we don't have with this great
- 34:38Speaker 7: moment I had. It wasn't no social media.
- 34:40Speaker 6: If y'all had a scene running past King fleeing God,
- 34:46Speaker 6: that boy, you was moving.
- 34:51Speaker 7: You you hear the other part of it, y'all ain't
- 34:54Speaker 7: see what I was running top speed to King while

- 43:40Speaker 11: Man?
- 43:41Speaker 10: Usually make this statement?
- 43:42Speaker 13: You made it quite a few times.
- 43:44Speaker 8: You say, have you ever had a hater that was
- 43:46Speaker 8: doing better than you?
- 43:47Speaker 10: Haters are never doing better than you?
- 43:49Speaker 8: Yeah, they are, some of them are.
- 43:51Speaker 10: And right now we got one inside the White House. Uh,
- 43:54Speaker 10: he's one of the biggest haters. We got another one,
- 43:56Speaker 10: Uh that is always.
- 43:58Speaker 8: Beside the White House with him.
- 44:00Speaker 13: Want to miss any.
- 44:00Speaker 10: Names here, but uh, either a billionaire hater, very wealthy,
- 44:05Speaker 10: wealthy haterre So yeah, that thinks that kind of speaks
- 44:09Speaker 10: the purpose. I don't know whether you want to keep
- 44:11Speaker 10: on using it or no. I don't know whether this
- 44:14Speaker 10: brings it to another level or reality. But yeah, sometimes
- 44:17Speaker 10: they wake up and not the haters are doing better

- 44:59Speaker 7: passing policy in your faith. They told you before they
- 45:03Speaker 7: got elected what they was gonna do. This country voted
- 45:06Speaker 7: for them. I understand what you're saying, but no, that's
- 45:09Speaker 7: different for me. Now that's your definition of a hater, okay,
- 45:12Speaker 7: but it's not my definition of a hater.
- 45:15Speaker 12: A particular issue with you saying that the haters are
- 45:18Speaker 12: usually not doing better than you.

- 45:24Speaker 1: Well, it says a hater.
- 45:25Speaker 11: The definition says a person who greatly dislikes a specific
- 45:30Speaker 11: person or thing.

- 50:21Speaker 9: And little TV.
- 50:22Speaker 8: Dude go out of every once and.
- 50:23Speaker 6: See there we go.

- 52:19Speaker 5: don't want to retaliate on the problems you have with
- 52:21Speaker 5: your wife.
- 52:22Speaker 8: Retaliation. Man, what I'm saying you're calling my house. I'm
- 52:25Speaker 8: minding my home and you worrying about who are watching
- 52:28Speaker 8: what TV in my house? And my wife taking me

- 52:59Speaker 8: phone on?
- 53:00Speaker 9: Man?
- 53:00Speaker 8: Give me something, tell me where to find you.
- 53:02Speaker 6: Why are you in denial?
- 53:04Speaker 8: Denial? I'm gonna tell you what you need.
- 53:07Speaker 5: To get your wife checked in the White Correctional Services

- 56:41Speaker 6: We got it for you.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Here.
- 56:42Speaker 6: It is Strawberry Letters.
- 56:44Speaker 12: All right, nephew, thank you. Subject he said it was
- 56:47Speaker 12: a break not a breakup. Dear Stephen Shirley. I was
- 56:51Speaker 12: in a relationship for seven years with a man that
- 56:54Speaker 12: sent mixed signals. I chose to leave a relationship, and
- 56:57Speaker 12: I don't think that he cares. He told him mutual
- 57:00Speaker 12: friend that we broke up a lot and got back together.
- 57:03Speaker 12: I thought we were taking breaks, not breaking up. He
- 57:06Speaker 12: would tell me that he needed some time to himself,
- 57:09Speaker 12: and I would give him a week or two to
- 57:10Speaker 12: go back to his own home and take care of
- 57:13Speaker 12: his personal affairs without me. He told our mutual friend
- 57:16Speaker 12: about the times he went on vacation without me and
- 57:19Speaker 12: he met lots of beautiful ladies overseas. He told our
- 57:22Speaker 12: friend that he considered marrying one of the ladies he
- 57:25Speaker 12: met in Columbia, but she didn't want to move to
- 57:27Speaker 12: the US. When I asked my boyfriend about everything I
- 57:30Speaker 12: had heard, he did not deny any of it and
- 57:33Speaker 12: said he was relieved that everything was out in the open.
- 57:36Speaker 12: He gave me a pep talk about being a sweet
- 57:38Speaker 12: and caring woman and how I deserved someone better than him.
- 57:42Speaker 12: He apologized for wasting my time, and he said he
- 57:45Speaker 12: would do better if I decided to stay with him,
- 57:48Speaker 12: or I could choose myself and leave him for good.
- 57:51Speaker 12: I was stunned by his quote take it or leave
- 57:53Speaker 12: it attitude about our relationship. I gave the best years
- 57:57Speaker 12: of my life to him and now, I'm past the
- 57:59Speaker 12: age of having babies, so if I start over with
- 58:02Speaker 12: someone new, the man would have to accept the fact
- 58:04Speaker 12: that I cannot have children. Part of me wants to
- 58:07Speaker 12: make lemonade out of lemons and stay with this man,
- 58:10Speaker 12: and another part of me is saying I can do better.
- 58:14Speaker 12: But can I, really, my single friend, say that dating
- 58:18Speaker 12: is harder than it's ever been. This man actually considered
- 58:21Speaker 12: marrying another woman while we were on a break, So
- 58:25Speaker 12: can he be trusted to straighten up and be the
- 58:27Speaker 12: man that I need?
- 58:28Speaker 1: What should I do here? Well?
- 58:31Speaker 12: I got to tell you that this is one of
- 58:32Speaker 12: the first letters that I can say right from the start,
- 58:36Speaker 12: leave him, leave him all very first.
- 58:39Speaker 6: Time you've said that Newslash just wanted to say that.
- 58:42Speaker 12: First time I've said it this early. Okay, everything you
- 58:45Speaker 12: said is true, and everything you said is real in
- 58:48Speaker 12: this letter. You got to stop trying to make it
- 58:50Speaker 12: into something else.
- 58:51Speaker 1: It's not.
- 58:52Speaker 12: He's never been for you, and he was only with
- 58:54Speaker 12: you when it was convenient for him. Seven years in
- 58:58Speaker 12: this relationship, you left and he didn't even care. Those
- 59:02Speaker 12: weren't mixed signals he was sending you.
- 59:04Speaker 1: It was the truth. You just chose to ignore all
- 59:07Speaker 1: the red flags.
- 59:08Speaker 12: He never once denied anything you accused him of of,
- 59:11Speaker 12: and he expressed relief that everything is out in the
- 59:14Speaker 12: open now, so it should be crystal clear to you,
- 59:17Speaker 12: no more mixed signals now that he definitely doesn't give
- 59:21Speaker 12: a darn.
- 59:21Speaker 1: He doesn't.
- 59:22Speaker 12: He apologized for wasting your time and basically said that
- 59:25Speaker 12: you should choose yourself and not him.
- 59:27Speaker 1: So stop right there.
- 59:29Speaker 12: You cannot make lemons out of this lemonade mess he's
- 59:33Speaker 12: given you. You gave him seven years. That is enough
- 59:37Speaker 12: now that you know the real Please don't think that
- 59:39Speaker 12: you can. You know that you can't do better. You
- 59:42Speaker 12: can do better, and all of this. Just leave his
- 59:46Speaker 12: trifling button.
- 59:47Speaker 7: Steve Well, this letter right here is actually mistitled because
- 59:53Speaker 7: the title of the letter is he said it was
- 59:55Speaker 7: a break, not a breakup. No, you said it was
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: a break he broke up. Yeah, because it says this
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: all the way through the letter. Now, I want to
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: point out something. You were in this relationship for seven years,
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: that with a man that sent mixed signals for seven years.
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: How did it take you seven years of mixed signals
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: before you got the signal? I don't understand, ma'am, Ladies,
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: if you're getting constantly mixed signals from a guy, what should.
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: That tell you?
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: I mean, he told a mutual.
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: Friend that we broke up a lot and got back together.
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: I thought we were taking breaks.
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: How many times have I said on this show that
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: men don't do on and off again relationships?
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: A million times, ladies.
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: We do not do on again off again. You can,
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: but we don't. When you go off and we and
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: you say we off again, we go get owned with
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: somebody else. Men don't need breaks from sex. We need
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: break from drama. And when we get to break from drama,
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: we go fix the drama with some sex. I don't
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: know how sex is the healer.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: You've said it a million times.
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: You have, it's it's whatever you need.
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: It's it's the advil, it's the time and all listen
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: day quill and not quill. It's it's suit of fed,
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: it's it's it's it's it's it's iboop hopra, and it's
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: it's just it's.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Every favorite than a ceiling. It's your fan, it's penal cyling.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: And they don't even have that. No more. No, it's
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: all of that.
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: That's what it is.
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: So when you're doing talking about we own again, off again.
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: He off with you so he could be owned somewhere else.
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: He would tell me that he needed some time to himself,
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: and I would give him a week or two go
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: back to his own to his own home and take
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: care of some personal fans without me.
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: What are you talking about?
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: He needed to leave you at home, go down there
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: and sign his shoes papers.
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: He need to lead on, Go down there and meet
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: to tax consultant.
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: He told a mutual friend about the times he went
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: on vacation without me, and he met lots of beautiful
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: women overseas. He told our friend that he considered married
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: one of these ladies he met in Columbia, but she
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: ain't want to move to the US. And then I
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: asked him about everything I heard. He didn't deny any
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: of it and said he was relieved that everything was
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: out in the open.
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: You know why.
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: He was relieved that everything was in the open so
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: you could finally read the mixed signals that he was
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: sending you. He was sending you the mixed signals, and
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: you wasn't getting the message.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: You thought it was Morris coldng On.
- 1:03:00Speaker 12: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:03:03Speaker 12: twenty three minutes after the hour, Steve the Today's Strawberry
- 1:03:06Speaker 12: Letter subject. He said, it was a break, not a breakup.
- 1:03:09Speaker 12: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:13Speaker 12: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: You can't let the urge to sing your favorite songs
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: while you're driving distract you from that truck drifting toward
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: your lane or that lane splitting.
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: Biker creeping up.
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: Besides, fortunately, every Hunday offers advanced safety features that can
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: alert you to potential dangers around.
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: And Hondai has over one hundred and thirty IIHS Top
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: Safety awards since two thousand and six. IIHS Stop Safety
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: awards include Top Safety Pick and Top Safety Pick plus
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: awards to Hondai vehicles from two thousand and six to
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: twenty twenty five.
- 1:03:51Speaker 12: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:54Speaker 12: The subject he said it was a break, not a breakup.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: He said it was a break and not a breakup.
- 1:03:59Speaker 7: Is the wrong title of this letter, because he told
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: you you you thought it was a break, but for
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: him it was on again, off again.
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: And I've told y'all men don't do on again, off again.
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: We off with you, but we go, we get off
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: with you and go on with somebody else because we
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: needed somebody else to heal us. The healing power of
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: eyebuu pos, the healing power of night quill, day quill,
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: ad VILPM, suit of fed and like Shirley said, my
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: favorite penicilla.
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: Nothing like it.
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: Because when I was growing up, pensilic can fix anything
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: and don't do nothing, no more nothing. They got stuff.
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: Now you can't even do it. You ain't hear everybody
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: the whole COVID thing. Nobody said nothing about no penicilla.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: I was looking for it. Break out the penicilla because
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: it works for everything everything else.
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: Yeah, we got covid.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Why ain't nobody drinking cast or what the hell going on?
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: Because it didn't elevated.
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: Now he'd have told your mutual friends while he was
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: off and you thought he needed time to go back
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: to his hometown and get some business taken care of.
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: HI, don't need no time to go take care.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Of no business.
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: We got emails. You can do everything over the phone.
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: Now you a DOCU signed and all this help. Then
- 1:05:23Speaker 7: he told about the time he went on vacation without
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: me and met lots of beautiful women.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Overseas.
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: He told our friends he considered mad one of the
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: ladies he met in Columbia, but she didn't want to
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: move to the US. Columbia got some beautiful women, but
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: let me highly recommend that you don't.
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: Get no woman from Columbia.
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: I can't go to Columbia because I never set foot
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: in Columbia again because after I said the wrong name,
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: they've been looking for me ever since. So clearly, I
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: don't care how beautiful, ay, ay, We're not gonna be
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: in Columbia. Let's just stop this right here. Don't let
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: that beauty fool you down there. It's extravagant beauty, but
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: don't go down there.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: And please, if you go down there, don't mention my name.
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: That When I asked my boyfriend about everything I heard,
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: he didn't deny any of it, and he said he
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: was relieved that everything was in the open. You know
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: why he was relieved, because you are finally getting the
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: message he was sending to you with the mixed signals, Ladies,
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: Mixed signals are what we give to you as hints.
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: Mixed signals is what we give to you as hints.
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: That part, because one day we'll be able to say
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: I told you yeah, or I never told. If he's
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: never told you he wants to get married to you.
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: If he said to you, I'd like to one day
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: get married, but he don't say to you, that's a
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: mixed sickness.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Okay, got it.
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: If he said to you, I want to fall in
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: love with someone, but.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: He ain't never told you he in love with you,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: that's a hint.
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: So all through this thing, he been dropping my hit.
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: Then he apologized.
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: Then he said he gave me a pep talk about
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: being a sweetened kin woman and how I deserved somebody
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: better than him, and he apologized for wasting my time.
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: He said he would do better if I decided to
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: stay with him, or I could choose myself and leave
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: him for good.
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: Another mixed signal line. Guess what he said?
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: He said that he would do better, but see better,
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: better than what see when the man said I do
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: better better?
- 1:07:42Speaker 9: What?
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: No, You either gonna straighten up and do right? Don't
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: give me this.
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: I'm gonna do better.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: You gonna change how You don't need to do better?
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: You need a change. He never gave you that.
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: He said, if you decided to stay with him or
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: choose myself and leave him for good. Another mixed signal,
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: I can do what you areout you do. I was
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: stunned by his taking or leave of attitude about our relationship.
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: I gave him the best years of my life to him,
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: and now I'm past the age of having babies. So
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: if I started with somebody knew, the man would have
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: to accept that I cannot have children.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Okay, Oh okay, what Steve? Okay, So.
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: That can't be your problem. See now you can't.
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: Now you're creating a scenario in your head to justify
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: staying with him, because if I give with somebody else
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: and I'm with you, you can't have kids with him?
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: So what difference do with me?
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: You're not going to have no more kids. Part of
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: me wants to make lemonade out of lemons? How Charlie
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: said it best? How and stay with this man? And
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: another part of me is saying I could do better? Okay,
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: but can I really?
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: Yep?
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: Well, let me ask you question, Can I really what?
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: You don't think?
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: This is worse? For seven years? Can I do better
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: than this? Worse?
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: Mixed signal, go nowhere relationship I'm in? Can I do better?
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: But can I really my single friends say that the
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: dating is harder than it's ever been. Yeah, it might
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: be that's true. This man actually considered marrying another woman
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: while we won't break. So can he be trusted to
- 1:09:28Speaker 7: straighten up and be the man that I need? What
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: should I do here? He gonna find somebody else too,
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: because when he says I'm gonna do better, you know
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: what he might be telling you I'm gonna do.
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: I'm gonna do better at cheat?
- 1:09:42Speaker 7: All right, next time I cheat, I'm not gonna tell
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: them mutual friends, and then they'll never tell you, and
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: then we'll keep these mixed signals going.
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: Girl, leave him.
- 1:09:50Speaker 12: You Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve

- 1:10:04Speaker 12: Coming up in forty six minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:10:06Speaker 12: have Junior and Sports Talk right after this.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: You can't let the urge to sing your favorite songs
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: while you drive abstract you from that trump drifting towards
- 1:10:22Speaker 7: your room, all that lane splitting biker creeping up. Besides, fortunately,
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: every Hunday offers advanced safety features that can alert you
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: to potential dangers around.
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: And Hondai has over one hundred and thirty IIHS Top
- 1:10:35Speaker 5: Safety awards since two thousand and six. IIHS Top Safety
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: awards include Top Safety Pick and Top Safety Pick plus
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: awards to Hondai vehicles from two thousand and six to
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: twenty twenty five.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: It is time now for junior and sports talk. Which
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: you got junior?
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: Okay, Shirley.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: We are one week away, one week away from the
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: NFL Draft. At your boy, Travis Hunter said he quit
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: football if he was not able to play wide receiver
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: and cornerback in the NFL.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Why he quit? He wants to quick and go where
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: and do what?
- 1:11:11Speaker 9: Do what?
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: I mean?
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Nobody said he's not.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: Some of the teams have not said that, but they
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: really want him to just play wide receiver or just
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: play cornerback.
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: They don't really want him to go both ways.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: But in college last year he played seven hundred and
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: thirteen offensive snaps seven hundred and forty eight defensive snaps.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: That's capable.
- 1:11:31Speaker 7: No, he's not, that's junior. The NFL is very different, though,
- 1:11:38Speaker 7: what what who was playing against in college and who
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: gonna be in the pros?
- 1:11:42Speaker 9: What?
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: Okay, So so you don't think it's a good idea
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: of him to play both way? No, I think it's
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: a good idea for pick the position that's the highest paid. Now,
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: receivers make more money than cornerbacks.
- 1:11:53Speaker 6: Okay, so we should just go and go with that.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: But he's a great corner or.
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: Or he can go to Canada if somebody will pay
- 1:12:04Speaker 7: him some outlandish amount of money. He can play both
- 1:12:08Speaker 7: sides of the ball. But ain't nobody gonna know him though,
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: So we gotta play, and we will not be on TV.
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: You'll be playing with the organote.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: What they got there up there? They ain't got the
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: super Bowl. They got the Great Cousin. Yeah, you're getting
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: a great Cup. And Travis, it's so cold in Canada,
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: in Winnipeg when you go play the Jets, you ain't
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: gonna believe it. That fother great Cup game fifty six below,
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: I was there.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Just just go pick a position.
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: They stadiums look like high school football players. So in Canada, man,
- 1:12:42Speaker 7: some of them stadiums ain't that Ain't that dope?
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: No, you don't even know them.
- 1:12:47Speaker 7: People when they go up there and they don't like
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: those right now, Kim, Yeah, because of the terrify.
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: Yeah, in the USFL ain't got no money for Travis.
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: Us if a whole football team don't make what the
- 1:13:02Speaker 7: NFL player, No, No, you can get you thirty dollars
- 1:13:07Speaker 7: a week or something like that.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: What let's get you might will have paper own.
- 1:13:16Speaker 13: Get to that.
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Here we go, man, we got some of the games. Uh,
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: you know the NBA Playoffs starts this Saturday. Or we
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: got the Nuggets and the Clippers there in the West,
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: and the Warriors beat the Grizzlies.
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: Huh did the Warriors beat you Grizzlies?
- 1:13:30Speaker 9: Oh?
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: Yeah, they beat them.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: You're gonna play the Rockets on Saturday. Man, they gonna
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: play the Rockets in the first round. Lord Hamby, don't
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: let this boy Steph go off. Just just keep Steph
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: at twenty five if we.
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: Can now the Rockets and they had a hell of
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: a season. But here comes Steph and Jimmy Butler.
- 1:13:48Speaker 9: Fight.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Thank you, Junior, Thank you guys.
- 1:13:51Speaker 12: Coming up at the top of the hour, a young
- 1:13:53Speaker 12: man on social media needs some advice Steve. He says
- 1:13:55Speaker 12: his parents won't let us share a bed. Her parents
- 1:13:58Speaker 12: won't let us share a bed. We'll talk about it
- 1:14:01Speaker 12: right after this.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:09Speaker 12: All right, So Chris Steve on Steve Harvey FM says,
- 1:14:13Speaker 12: this weekend, my girlfriend's parents have invited us to spend
- 1:14:17Speaker 12: Easter weekend at their place. We've been dating for a
- 1:14:20Speaker 12: round a year and we're all quite familiar with each other,
- 1:14:23Speaker 12: so it should be fun. There's an issue, though, they're
- 1:14:27Speaker 12: relatively old fashioned and don't want us sleeping together in
- 1:14:31Speaker 12: the same room, even though they know we live together.
- 1:14:35Speaker 12: My girlfriend is really pushing back on this, but I
- 1:14:38Speaker 12: don't think it's that big of a deal, seeing as
- 1:14:41Speaker 12: how it's their place and their rules. What's the best
- 1:14:44Speaker 12: way to stay out of the drama when we get there?
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: Tell your girl we're gonna obey your father and mother's
- 1:14:52Speaker 7: rules at they house and were gonna get a hotel
- 1:14:56Speaker 7: room or you stay with your mom Neil and I'm
- 1:14:58Speaker 7: gonna get a rule. Won't be because bruh, you're doing
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: the right thing by being respectful of their rules. And
- 1:15:06Speaker 7: I don't care how hard she pushing back, even if
- 1:15:08Speaker 7: she win the argument. You know how uncomfortable you gonna
- 1:15:12Speaker 7: be Yeah.
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: You sleep in these people house?
- 1:15:15Speaker 9: Now?
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: Want you sleep in now?
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: All right? Yeah, all right?
- 1:15:22Speaker 12: Moving on to Tracy on Steve Harvey FM. Tracy says,
- 1:15:26Speaker 12: my thirteen year old daughter has started hanging out with
- 1:15:29Speaker 12: a new group of kids at school, and everything about
- 1:15:32Speaker 12: her has changed. Her attitude, has changed, her clothes, even
- 1:15:35Speaker 12: the way she talks to us. I don't want to
- 1:15:38Speaker 12: be the overbearing mom who controls her every move, but
- 1:15:41Speaker 12: I also can't ignore the feeling that these new friends
- 1:15:44Speaker 12: are bringing out the worst in her. I feel like
- 1:15:46Speaker 12: I have to walk a narrow line here.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: What should I do?
- 1:15:50Speaker 12: How can I get back to her, get her back
- 1:15:53Speaker 12: to her old self without pushing her away?
- 1:15:57Speaker 6: Have you tried backhand in her?
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Why is violence you're always as your first go to?
- 1:16:05Speaker 6: I'm just I'm asking has that been put out? Have
- 1:16:09Speaker 6: you backhanded her?
- 1:16:10Speaker 12: Yet? She said she doesn't want to be the overbearing
- 1:16:13Speaker 12: mom who controls her every move.
- 1:16:16Speaker 6: Well, or you can be the or you can be the.
- 1:16:21Speaker 7: Underbearing parent and then let her control all her own
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: moves and make all her decisions with that thirteen year
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: old mindset and wind up pregnant somewhere or on drugs
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: or run away with an older boy, limo options. See,
- 1:16:38Speaker 7: as parents, our first obligation is to parent, and in parenting,
- 1:16:44Speaker 7: your children will not always like the decisions you make.
- 1:16:47Speaker 7: But see y'all also busy with this new stuff, trying
- 1:16:50Speaker 7: to be their friend and all this here. Try to
- 1:16:52Speaker 7: stay out the way and get to decide. They're too
- 1:16:54Speaker 7: stupid to decide. Your child is stupid like the rest
- 1:17:03Speaker 7: of the kids. Come to terms with that. Everybody say
- 1:17:09Speaker 7: this under your breath. My child is stupid like the
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: rest of them. And the reason you should say this
- 1:17:21Speaker 7: is because I promise you they are. They don't let
- 1:17:25Speaker 7: you see it, but now she done got so comfortable
- 1:17:29Speaker 7: she letting you see it. You don't want to be
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: the overbearing parent, then fine, if you okay with visitations
- 1:17:36Speaker 7: and all of that. No, y'all, you gotta look at
- 1:17:43Speaker 7: it this way. Your job is to parent, and in parenting,
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: they will not like all of your decisions, but you
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: have to do something that's best for them.
- 1:17:51Speaker 6: Later on they'll go, man, I see what you were saying.
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: They don't get it now.
- 1:17:57Speaker 12: Yeah, but she doesn't want to push her daughter away.
- 1:18:00Speaker 12: If she starts that, that's.
- 1:18:01Speaker 6: What she's already away.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Yeah, she's with that. That's what y'all see.
- 1:18:06Speaker 7: She's already away, gotcha. Yeah, she doing stuff you don't
- 1:18:11Speaker 7: want her to do, and you're scared to say something.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Okay, I can't be afraid.
- 1:18:16Speaker 7: Then visitations is coming soon. All you're gonna be taking
- 1:18:19Speaker 7: her down to the tennant. What you want to do
- 1:18:22Speaker 7: this because this can go bad.
- 1:18:24Speaker 6: This is a girl, man.
- 1:18:26Speaker 7: It goes bad for girls and it can go bad
- 1:18:29Speaker 7: for boys. And you got to protect your child with
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: the knowledge that you have based on what you know.
- 1:18:36Speaker 7: Now feel how you want to feel about me.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: And she's only thirteen. Yeah, she's only thirteen.
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: Buying all the club where you getting the money from?
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: All right? Thank you, great advice. Steve.
- 1:18:47Speaker 12: Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:18:49Speaker 12: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right.
- 1:19:00Speaker 12: As more and more people are making the decision not
- 1:19:02Speaker 12: to have kids these days, according to a recent study
- 1:19:05Speaker 12: by Michigan State University, the percentage of adults who don't
- 1:19:08Speaker 12: want kids today has nearly doubled. It was fourteen percent
- 1:19:12Speaker 12: back in two thousand and two. Now it's twenty nine percent.
- 1:19:16Speaker 12: That's the latest from twenty twenty three statistics in the nineties,
- 1:19:22Speaker 12: the trend is still growing. The research didn't pinpoint the
- 1:19:26Speaker 12: exact reasons why Americans are opting out of parenthood, but
- 1:19:30Speaker 12: they're they're saying things like, you know, the state of
- 1:19:33Speaker 12: the world right now, economic worries, the allure of having
- 1:19:36Speaker 12: more freedom. You know, they don't have to worry about
- 1:19:38Speaker 12: their children, your parent see, yes.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I say it, all those things, I see it all. Yeah,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: the reasons.
- 1:19:47Speaker 6: Yes, But we didn't have planned parenthood.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Yes we did, we did.
- 1:19:54Speaker 9: We did.
- 1:19:55Speaker 12: What do you guys love about being parents and grandparents?
- 1:19:58Speaker 12: In your case your and Steve and.
- 1:20:01Speaker 7: Well this ain't a good That ain't a good say anyway, Well,
- 1:20:05Speaker 7: it ain't the story about we don't want the kids.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Now you want.
- 1:20:10Speaker 9: Them?
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Yeah, convince the people that don't want them that they want.
- 1:20:14Speaker 7: Well, I think we should start with Junior because Junior
- 1:20:17Speaker 7: is the newest grandfather.
- 1:20:18Speaker 6: Oh my, well the pictures.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: I love seeing the pictures. Yeah, Tommy is.
- 1:20:26Speaker 6: Yeah, Yeah, that would be Papa t You're gonna get
- 1:20:31Speaker 6: that straight right.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: All right, Papa Tea. Thank you guys.
- 1:20:37Speaker 12: Coming up At thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:20:40Speaker 12: play another round. Would you rather right after this you're
- 1:20:43Speaker 12: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:49Speaker 7: You can't let the urge to sing your favorite songs
- 1:20:52Speaker 7: while you're driving distract you from that truck drifting toward
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: your lane or that lane.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Splitting biker creeping up beside you.
- 1:20:59Speaker 7: Fortunately, every nday offers advanced safety features that can alert
- 1:21:03Speaker 7: you to potential dangers around.
- 1:21:05Speaker 5: And Hondai has over one hundred and thirty IIHS Top
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: Safety awards since two thousand and six. Ii HS Top
- 1:21:11Speaker 5: Safety awards include Top Safety Pick and Top Safety Pick
- 1:21:15Speaker 5: Plus awards to Hondai vehicles from two thousand and six
- 1:21:18Speaker 5: to twenty twenty five.
- 1:21:20Speaker 12: It is done now for a round of would you?
- 1:21:23Speaker 12: Would you rather have the wisdom of your age now
- 1:21:26Speaker 12: or the energy of your youth? Would you rather have
- 1:21:28Speaker 12: the wisdom of your age or the energy of your youth?
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Your wisdom wisdom of my age?
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: Okay, I ain't got to be wise, but if I
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: can get that energy of being, what I would you.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: Of your not? I'm worried about it? Why? But I
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: don't know why?
- 1:21:49Speaker 7: You would want more energy attached to your current state
- 1:21:53Speaker 7: of mind? Fixed it to slow you down?
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: What about you wisdom? Energy? I would love to.
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: Have the energy, but I can't. I can't give up this, this,
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: this wisdom, it keeps.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I was.
- 1:22:13Speaker 7: See, energy makes you react so fast that you don't
- 1:22:18Speaker 7: think sometimes. Yeah yeah, yeah, well you know how much
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: stuff I have done too fast?
- 1:22:24Speaker 13: Yes?
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:22:27Speaker 12: Moving on to would you rather be in a room
- 1:22:29Speaker 12: with ten bunnies or would you rather be in a
- 1:22:32Speaker 12: room with ten chickens?
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Ten bunnies? Chick? Do them chicken? Chicken? Chicken? Yeah? Why
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: for one? I hope they got some eggs, steve, bunnies
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: or chickens. Well, I'm country boys, so I'm taking chickens.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: But okay, we're gonna have against bunnies. Wow, sorry, well.
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: Friul bunnies and fried chicken.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: You're thinking about a meal? I cannot. It's a huge difference.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: And of course the nephew is thinking of playboy bunnies.
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: Okay, and bunny you need jack rabbit. What you don't
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: want is bunny.
- 1:23:19Speaker 12: They multiply, all right? Would you rather wear powder blue
- 1:23:22Speaker 12: or lime green when you wear your suit? That's Easter
- 1:23:25Speaker 12: Sunday service?
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Which one powder not lime green?
- 1:23:32Speaker 9: Come on?
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: Past stale color. Come on, Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago.
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: Which one you're gonna put out your closet on?
- 1:23:40Speaker 9: Powder?
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Lime green? I'm wearing ice blue. You wouldn't be different ice,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: all right?
- 1:23:55Speaker 12: Would you rather chew gum that you're the person you
- 1:23:59Speaker 12: have as on chewed? Or would you rather share the
- 1:24:02Speaker 12: same washcloth with the person you have a crush on? Yeah,
- 1:24:07Speaker 12: you didn't hear me here, crush halle Berry. Would you
- 1:24:10Speaker 12: rather chew her gum or would you rather use her
- 1:24:12Speaker 12: washed cloth?
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: Oh, it don't matter which one would have? Let's see.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Tell me, I'll help you out.
- 1:24:21Speaker 6: You'll go with the washcloth, because didn't that mean he was.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Over there that today we have to wash.
- 1:24:34Speaker 12: Coming up in forty nine minutes after it's our last
- 1:24:37Speaker 12: break of the day, and we'll close out the show
- 1:24:39Speaker 12: with the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:48Speaker 7: You can't let the urge to sing your favorite songs
- 1:24:51Speaker 7: while you're driving distract you from that truck drifting toward
- 1:24:55Speaker 7: your lamp, or that lanees flinting biker creeping up. Besides, fortunately,
- 1:24:59Speaker 7: every hunt office advanced safety features that can alert you
- 1:25:02Speaker 7: to potential dangers around.
- 1:25:04Speaker 5: And Honday has over one hundred and thirty IIHS Top
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: Safety awards since two thousand and six. IIHS Top Safety
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: awards include Top Safety Pick and Top Safety Pick plus
- 1:25:15Speaker 5: awards to Hondai vehicles from two thousand and six to
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: twenty twenty five.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last break of the day.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: This is Easter Week, concluding on Sunday, with Resurrection Day tomorrow,
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: Christian Day. Good Friday. It's good Friday, the same as
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Palm Sunday. No, that was last Sunday. Jesus rode in
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: on the donkey. That was Palm Sunday, So.
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: That was tomorrow. Never quite knew that story. What never
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: really knew that that was your day? He rode in.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: I was, yeah, yes, I just wanted a real nice palm.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: I went around twice one time, little.
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: Good.
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: Hey.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Let me say this for closing remarks. You know, earlier.
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: A guy called in and was saying that, Steve, you've
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: been saying often that you've never had a if you notice,
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: you've never had a hater doing better than you. And
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: he said, I want to disagree, and you might want
- 1:26:31Speaker 7: to consider to stop saying that. Because of the two
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: people in the White House. He was referring to Donald
- 1:26:37Speaker 7: Trump and Elon Musk. He said, they're haters and they're
- 1:26:41Speaker 7: doing better than us. Uh. Just for clarification, You're free
- 1:26:46Speaker 7: to think and feel however you want to feel if
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: you think they're haters. But what my statement was really
- 1:26:52Speaker 7: telling people is on a personal level, you you will
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: never have a hater that's doing better than you. You
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: see what I mean, And it's all the hate that
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: I'm talking about is on a personal level. When you
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: go up to that level right there, you're talking about
- 1:27:12Speaker 7: people who can pass policy, who can pass laws, who
- 1:27:16Speaker 7: can implement policy that changes a sweeping change across many
- 1:27:22Speaker 7: different platforms, and it would include you heard them, they everybody.
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: So you don't really have a personal relationship with either
- 1:27:35Speaker 7: one of those people in the White House. So I
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: don't consider them haters. They are a whole nother level.
- 1:27:41Speaker 9: Man.
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: But what I try to guard people against is the
- 1:27:46Speaker 7: people who can say or do something to you that
- 1:27:48Speaker 7: affects your mood, your position, and the way you go
- 1:27:52Speaker 7: about your day. Because people allow people allow some people
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: in their life to have an effect on their attitude,
- 1:28:04Speaker 7: their direction, and their decisions.
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: And you shouldn't.
- 1:28:08Speaker 7: Here's the one thing I've learned about. I stop taking
- 1:28:12Speaker 7: criticism from people I wouldn't take advice from. I stopped
- 1:28:18Speaker 7: that because, man, it's think about it. When you get
- 1:28:22Speaker 7: hated on on your job, when you get hated on
- 1:28:25Speaker 7: in your family, when you got what you thought was
- 1:28:29Speaker 7: a friend who's turning around hating on you. When you
- 1:28:32Speaker 7: think about this, it can be so nonproductive if you
- 1:28:38Speaker 7: give credence to it. If you allow a person to
- 1:28:42Speaker 7: make a statement about you and then it affects how
- 1:28:44Speaker 7: you feel that day, and they're saying something negative about you,
- 1:28:49Speaker 7: that's a hater.
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: Well, you can control that.
- 1:28:52Speaker 7: You have control of that, and I'm employing everybody to
- 1:28:56Speaker 7: get control of your life.
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: Listen to me.
- 1:29:00Speaker 7: I have decided I have given no one cause permission.
- 1:29:06Speaker 7: I have given no one permission to control me, to
- 1:29:11Speaker 7: disgust me, and to affect me that I don't know.
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: You have no you have no permission. So when you
- 1:29:18Speaker 7: online and people commenting on your picture, your likes, or
- 1:29:22Speaker 7: are making comments and your comment section on your social media,
- 1:29:26Speaker 7: do you understand that there's people sitting around all day
- 1:29:28Speaker 7: and all they do is troll the internet to find
- 1:29:31Speaker 7: something to say something negative about it's negative people that
- 1:29:33Speaker 7: wake up and you allowing this person who you don't
- 1:29:37Speaker 7: even know affect you. I have several policies like number one.
- 1:29:41Speaker 7: I just told y'all, I said, I do not take
- 1:29:44Speaker 7: criticism from people I would not take advice from. I
- 1:29:48Speaker 7: also don't allow people's opinion of me who don't have
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: my cell number to affect me. I also have a
- 1:29:58Speaker 7: policy if I don't know I know you, that's probably
- 1:30:02Speaker 7: a reason why. So why would I give you permission
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: to have a level of importance in my life that
- 1:30:10Speaker 7: would affect anything in my day to day when you
- 1:30:13Speaker 7: don't even know me. Y'all, take control of your life
- 1:30:18Speaker 7: by not giving people permission. You don't have to give
- 1:30:23Speaker 7: a person permission.
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: You don't have to.
- 1:30:27Speaker 6: Man, you could just do this to people.
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: You could just give them deuces. Bye.
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: Look, man, it is such a freeing thing to be
- 1:30:37Speaker 7: able to control your life because all you got to
- 1:30:40Speaker 7: do is control the way you respond. Stop responding to
- 1:30:45Speaker 7: people who don't know you, stop responding to people who
- 1:30:49Speaker 7: don't have your cell number, and stop taking criticism from
- 1:30:53Speaker 7: people you wouldn't take advice from. If you could do
- 1:30:56Speaker 7: those things right now, you have taken back the control.
- 1:31:00Speaker 6: You know, I use this as not.
- 1:31:02Speaker 7: I've used this example all the time about Martin Luther King.
- 1:31:05Speaker 7: Martin Luther King said, a person can't ride your back
- 1:31:08Speaker 7: unless you bend over. I don't bend over. You're not
- 1:31:12Speaker 7: climbing on my back because I'm not bending over. I
- 1:31:17Speaker 7: don't give you permission. God Almighty is the architect and
- 1:31:23Speaker 7: author of my destiny and my future, where I'm headed
- 1:31:28Speaker 7: and where I'm going. I have given him total permission
- 1:31:31Speaker 7: to guide me as you will. And you ain't in that.
- 1:31:35Speaker 7: You ain't in the scriptures. You ain't in none of
- 1:31:38Speaker 7: his promises. You ain't in none of my.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: Hopes and dreams.
- 1:31:43Speaker 7: Thank you for whatever you want to feel about me,
- 1:31:45Speaker 7: but as it has no effect on it. Ladies and Jay,
- 1:31:50Speaker 7: have yourself a great thing. Talk to God because he
