September 20th - Before Pilate & Herod, Luke 22v63 - 23v25
Jesus is on trial on an obviously trumped-up charge. Will Jesus be found innocent? Of course not! The truth is too uncomfortable and too challenging for the accusers and judges to have to face ... because they would have to say "we're the guilty ones, not him". It's the same today - you and I are guilty, not him. But that's usually too much of a challenge to accept. https://www.facebook.com/staplefordbaptistchurch/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCON8kZnw_hT-2eaVyUXWCwwhttp://www.staplefordbaptist.org/
