- 2:07Speaker 6: one it only Steve Harvey Man oh man, got a
- 2:10Speaker 6: radio show, got a good one for you today. And
- 2:13Speaker 6: it just happened. You know, I was going through something
- 2:17Speaker 6: that I've been going through for a long long time,
- 2:20Speaker 6: just weary of it all, and I was I've been
- 2:22Speaker 6: talking to God about it, and I mean for years.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Though.
- 2:26Speaker 6: What happened was I had had to go through some
- 2:30Speaker 6: more of it yesterday again a situation. But you know what,
- 2:34Speaker 6: after it was over, you know, I kind of laid
- 2:37Speaker 6: in it for a little while. You know how you've
- 2:38Speaker 6: been going through something for so long, and then even
- 2:41Speaker 6: if it's over, appears to be over, you still kind
- 2:44Speaker 6: of lay in it a little bit, and you know,
- 2:46Speaker 6: you have a while. Man, I can't believe I've been
- 2:49Speaker 6: dealing with this this long, even though even though it
- 2:52Speaker 6: was over. I don't know how you do it, but
- 2:55Speaker 6: this was so good for me. Have you ever counted,
- 2:58Speaker 6: Steve Harvey, how many times you made it? And so
- 3:01Speaker 6: that's what I started doing yesterday, And that's what I
- 3:04Speaker 6: did this morning.
- 3:05Speaker 1: When I woke up.
- 3:06Speaker 6: I was actually taking an inventory account of how many
- 3:11Speaker 6: times I made it. How many times, man, I didn't
- 3:15Speaker 6: have the rent and somehow I came up with it.
- 3:17Speaker 6: How many times I didn't have my house payment and
- 3:20Speaker 6: somehow I came up with it. How many times I
- 3:24Speaker 6: was out of money, did not have enough, didn't see
- 3:27Speaker 6: no way, but somehow I came up with it. How
- 3:31Speaker 6: many times I got sick, thought, well, man, this one
- 3:34Speaker 6: right here. I don't know what I'm gonna do, but
- 3:36Speaker 6: somehow I got my health back. How many situations I
- 3:42Speaker 6: have found myself in? That was I thought at the time,
- 3:46Speaker 6: detrimental and diabolical and man so sinister at times. Somehow
- 3:53Speaker 6: I made it. I look at all the accidents I've
- 3:57Speaker 6: been in, but he kept me. I made I think
- 4:01Speaker 6: about even the simplest times of like stepping off a
- 4:03Speaker 6: curve and almost got hit, but I made it.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I was just tripping the other day.
- 4:08Speaker 6: I was thinking about the times that I've been hit
- 4:11Speaker 6: by a car and it could have been worse, but
- 4:14Speaker 6: it wasn't, And I made it through that too. I
- 4:16Speaker 6: was thinking about, Man, when they count you out? Do
- 4:20Speaker 6: you know how many times I've been counted out? He's done?
- 4:24Speaker 6: He ain't gonna be nothing, He ain't nobody see who
- 4:28Speaker 6: I told y'all look at over that they counsel this.
- 4:31Speaker 6: He offered that he out of here. He ain't gonna
- 4:34Speaker 6: make it. He didne got fired. Man, You know how
- 4:36Speaker 6: many times I've been counted out? You know how many
- 4:38Speaker 6: times they done wrote me off? How many times have
- 4:41Speaker 6: you been written off?
- 4:42Speaker 1: Man? But here you still standing? Yeah? You ever tripped
- 4:44Speaker 1: on it?
- 4:45Speaker 6: Take an inventory, y'all of how many times? Count the
- 4:50Speaker 6: times you've made it? What about the times man, when
- 4:52Speaker 6: nobody was there.
- 4:53Speaker 1: To encourage you?
- 4:55Speaker 6: But you still here though you have tripped on that?
- 4:58Speaker 6: Ain't nobody called you? I told you good day. Nobody
- 5:01Speaker 6: called you and told you recently thank you. No one's
- 5:03Speaker 6: called you and told you how much you meant to them,
- 5:05Speaker 6: how much you've done for them, or man, that you
- 5:07Speaker 6: can make it. Never give up. Keep your head up, man,
- 5:10Speaker 6: keep grinding. But you still here, even when nobody. Have
- 5:14Speaker 6: you counted the times man, that you made it anyway?
- 5:19Speaker 6: Have you counted the times that you felt like quitting,
- 5:22Speaker 6: you felt like giving up, you kept going?
- 5:26Speaker 1: How about the time this is a good one right here?
- 5:28Speaker 6: How about the times man, when everybody's standing around saying,
- 5:31Speaker 6: ain't no way, ain't no way. Man, I can't tell
- 5:34Speaker 6: how many times I've heard this, ain't no way, and
- 5:37Speaker 6: then somehow there is a way.
- 5:39Speaker 1: You know why, because he make a way. You understand.
- 5:43Speaker 1: You know how many times I've heard this one right here?
- 5:46Speaker 6: Steve, listen to me, man, nobody ever before has done that.
- 5:51Speaker 6: You can't do that. How many times you done heard? No,
- 5:54Speaker 6: you or you know anybody that done that? You can't
- 5:58Speaker 6: do that. No one has ever done that. I made
- 6:01Speaker 6: it anyway. You know, they don't normally or we don't
- 6:09Speaker 6: normally allow this, but in this case, for you, we
- 6:15Speaker 6: gonna make an exception. How many times have you heard that, Oh,
- 6:19Speaker 6: I think I'm onto something? How many times have you
- 6:22Speaker 6: heard in your lifetime? We don't normally or they don't
- 6:27Speaker 6: normally allow this, but we gonna make this exception in
- 6:32Speaker 6: your case? How many times you done heard that? Have
- 6:36Speaker 6: you ever counted the times that you made it? Everybody
- 6:42Speaker 6: out except me? How can that be? You know you're
- 6:48Speaker 6: the only one that got through this? Congratulations? Wow, man,
- 6:53Speaker 6: I don't hardly see this too many times. But do
- 6:55Speaker 6: you realize that normally this is what happened to people?
- 6:58Speaker 6: But man, y'all, I don't know how your name came up,
- 7:01Speaker 6: but here you are. Wow, it never happens like that.
- 7:05Speaker 6: You ever counted those times I was doing it yesterday?
- 7:08Speaker 6: I was doing it this morning. I was just taking
- 7:11Speaker 6: an inventory everybody of how many times I've made it.
- 7:15Speaker 6: So what I learned yesterday was when God gets you
- 7:19Speaker 6: through something, when he pulled you out on the other side,
- 7:23Speaker 6: no matter how difficult or how long it took. When
- 7:26Speaker 6: He gets you out on the other side, why don't
- 7:28Speaker 6: you get up, dust yourself off, and start trying what
- 7:33Speaker 6: you laying there for? Man wallowing in it, going over it,
- 7:38Speaker 6: recycling it in your mind.
- 7:40Speaker 1: So many people can't move forward because.
- 7:43Speaker 6: We keep recycling stuff in our mind when clearly it's
- 7:49Speaker 6: time to move on, it's time to let go, it's
- 7:54Speaker 6: time to go and see what God has for you.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Stop looking at what you lost.
- 8:01Speaker 6: What you lost was probably not yours to have in
- 8:04Speaker 6: the first all in the first place. Do you know
- 8:13Speaker 6: the things I've lost? Now, I'm not talking about losing
- 8:16Speaker 6: a loved one, a mother or father, nothing like that.
- 8:18Speaker 6: I'm talking about innate objects or situation. Do you know
- 8:23Speaker 6: the things I've lost? Man, I look back on it.
- 8:25Speaker 6: I wasn't supposed to have them in the first place,
- 8:27Speaker 6: or they was doing me no good. I wasn't wasn't
- 8:29Speaker 6: mine to lose, but I claimed I lost it. Come on, man,
- 8:33Speaker 6: take an inventory everybody. Start looking at the things man,
- 8:36Speaker 6: that God has brought you through. Start looking at how
- 8:39Speaker 6: many times He allowed you to make it. And get
- 8:41Speaker 6: glad about waking up in the morning. Man, Get glad
- 8:44Speaker 6: about your life. Start feeling something positive about your situation.
- 8:48Speaker 6: You cannot expect God to continue to bless you if
- 8:52Speaker 6: you're not grateful for.
- 8:53Speaker 1: The things that you have.
- 8:54Speaker 6: Why would God sitting down here looking at you, upset, angry,
- 9:01Speaker 6: laying in the wall of what you are not grateful for.
- 9:06Speaker 6: You just can't find the scene and find no gratitude
- 9:08Speaker 6: in your heart about nothing, but you steady asking God
- 9:11Speaker 6: for something. So now you think God is crazy? You
- 9:14Speaker 6: think he gonna give you some more stuff to not
- 9:16Speaker 6: be grateful for. Are you kidding me? Why would he
- 9:19Speaker 6: do that. He's too full of too much mercy to
- 9:23Speaker 6: send you through that over and over and over. The
- 9:25Speaker 6: more I give my child, the more ungrateful they are,
- 9:29Speaker 6: the less gratitude they show. But I'm gonna keep dumping
- 9:31Speaker 6: it on them so they can keep feeling ungrateful and
- 9:34Speaker 6: then show like of gratitude. God's not gonna do that
- 9:36Speaker 6: to you. Come on, man, have you ever counted how
- 9:41Speaker 6: many times you made it? I can't count how many
- 9:46Speaker 6: times God then got me through something. But when he
- 9:49Speaker 6: gets you through it, we ain't get up and get
- 9:51Speaker 6: on about your business. Don't lay that in it. It's over,
- 9:54Speaker 6: it's done, you made it, you survived it. Let's go,

- 23:59Speaker 9: irritated because this is my house. How do I get

- 24:05Speaker 9: this house?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Am I tripping? Okay? What what what happened that didn't

- 24:23Speaker 6: your man.
- 24:23Speaker 10: Hu And he because and he says, because the dad

- 24:31Speaker 6: Well, the dad took all the leftovers home that he
- 24:35Speaker 6: had from your house, in your home, at your table. Yeah,
- 24:39Speaker 6: that's your flex.
- 24:42Speaker 1: That you had to feed him. That's your flex. Yeah,
- 24:47Speaker 1: look at it that way. Uh dog, what you what?
- 24:49Speaker 1: What's what?
- 24:50Speaker 7: What?
- 24:50Speaker 1: What's the matter?
- 24:51Speaker 10: Yeah, that's what he wants to know. Is he tripping?
- 24:53Speaker 1: So, yeah, you're tripping. The flex is they came over
- 24:57Speaker 1: your house.
- 24:57Speaker 6: The flex is you let him have the biggest The
- 25:00Speaker 6: flex is you let him take home the steak and
- 25:02Speaker 6: the leftovers.
- 25:04Speaker 1: You the man at the house, he's insecure. Yes, what
- 25:08Speaker 1: you want to put nago Yo, little mistake, sir. You
- 25:13Speaker 1: don't do that to your guests, all right.
- 25:17Speaker 9: Moving on to Charlotte in Atlantic City, Charlott writes, my
- 25:20Speaker 9: husband stayed out all night and said he had a
- 25:24Speaker 9: rough time and didn't want to talk about it. I
- 25:27Speaker 9: talked to his brother and he said, my husband will
- 25:29Speaker 9: tell me what happened when he's ready, Where was he?
- 25:34Speaker 6: Was he cheating or was he arrested? That's what she
- 25:37Speaker 6: had a rough night and he didn't want to don't
- 25:40Speaker 6: know what that was. His brother said he'd tell you
- 25:44Speaker 6: when he ready, and until then, was he cheating?
- 25:48Speaker 1: I have no idea. Don't sound like he had a rough.
- 25:51Speaker 9: Night, and why because he's not being forthcoming with the information.
- 25:57Speaker 10: That's why.
- 25:58Speaker 6: I don't know how he came in house. He didn't
- 26:00Speaker 6: have a sleeve toe off his shirt. He didn't he
- 26:04Speaker 6: didn't take a actually thump his hand on it. You know,
- 26:08Speaker 6: you just lot of creative injury. He could a lot
- 26:11Speaker 6: of stuff.
- 26:12Speaker 10: Yeah, he didn't do that that.
- 26:14Speaker 6: I don't want to talk about it. That's a hard one.
- 26:16Speaker 6: He is buying him time for when he do talk
- 26:19Speaker 6: about it. He's gonna have several things lined.
- 26:21Speaker 10: Up, several lives.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Well, the lies will have alibis. Oh, some fine time.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I want to talk.
- 26:32Speaker 10: About it, because she definitely wants to know was he
- 26:37Speaker 10: cheating or was he arrested?
- 26:38Speaker 1: And where he was?
- 26:39Speaker 6: He ain't gonna ever say he was cheating. I ain't
- 26:44Speaker 6: no need of him talking about he arrested either, because
- 26:46Speaker 6: you got to have a ticket and some paperwork show
- 26:48Speaker 6: you was in there. Yeah, you get arrested paperwork.
- 26:51Speaker 1: But you definitely think he was cheating. Huh, I didn't.
- 26:57Speaker 7: You?
- 26:58Speaker 2: It was a question I do.
- 27:01Speaker 9: It was a question I want to know.
- 27:02Speaker 1: But you definitely, thank you. I ain't never said that. No,
- 27:07Speaker 1: I don't think the man was cheating it. I think
- 27:08Speaker 1: he had a rough night.
- 27:10Speaker 10: Well what does that mean?
- 27:12Speaker 1: I don't know, Shirley.
- 27:14Speaker 9: See, if I say I'm gonna have a rough night,
- 27:16Speaker 9: I am gonna have evidence. Okay, all right, So yeah
- 27:21Speaker 9: he had no evidence, so he was I this is.
- 27:25Speaker 1: All you gotta do. Take a spoon.
- 27:27Speaker 6: Take a spoon, Just tap it on your forehead just
- 27:30Speaker 6: a little bit. It ain't gotta be hard. Yeah, and
- 27:33Speaker 6: what eventually a knot will appear?
- 27:37Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 27:37Speaker 1: Who ran into a tree? That then it's the story to.
- 27:46Speaker 6: Hand one of your sleeves off your shirt. They tried
- 27:52Speaker 6: to rob me. I snatched away who.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Tried to rob you? After you hit the tree? Because
- 27:58Speaker 1: I'm looking at the.
- 27:59Speaker 9: Car and there's the car. These are different lies, Carl,
- 28:04Speaker 9: I said, how did I say I hurt my head?
- 28:08Speaker 1: You said I hit a tree. I hit a tree.
- 28:11Speaker 10: That's one lie with my head. Yeah, that's one lie.
- 28:15Speaker 1: So you were running in the in the forest, and
- 28:19Speaker 1: when I snatched.
- 28:19Speaker 6: Away, when they tried to rob me, tore my sleeve off,
- 28:23Speaker 6: I snatched and turned and the tree was right.
- 28:25Speaker 10: Oh okay, So that's how you put them together, if
- 28:27Speaker 10: you want to put them.
- 28:28Speaker 6: Now, I got a handful of bark, and meantime, I
- 28:31Speaker 6: didn't chewed it. Now I got bark in my teeth,
- 28:33Speaker 6: just to prove it.
- 28:35Speaker 2: So these cheap randomly approached you and you just run.
- 28:43Speaker 1: This Atlanta, you know how they are.
- 28:46Speaker 11: And you just took off, running into the woods and
- 28:48Speaker 11: you ran into a tree. But the wood bark your teeth, right,
- 28:53Speaker 11: and that's how you stayed out. Why didn't you come home?
- 28:57Speaker 1: Because I couldn't go back to my car? So, oh,
- 29:01Speaker 1: how did you get home today? I waited.
- 29:05Speaker 6: I waited till till the sun came up so I
- 29:08Speaker 6: could see see what see my way home in the woods.
- 29:14Speaker 6: It was pitch black.
- 29:16Speaker 9: So you try to tell me, so, not only did
- 29:17Speaker 9: you run into a tree into the woods with bark
- 29:21Speaker 9: in your teeth, you spent the night in.
- 29:24Speaker 1: The woods because I couldn't see how to get out.
- 29:30Speaker 1: You go ahead, what else?
- 29:33Speaker 9: I have nothing further, You're on it. Nobody believes it's
- 29:38Speaker 9: crap either.
- 29:38Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no no no.
- 29:40Speaker 6: I'm gonna have a toe up sleeve on her. And
- 29:42Speaker 6: you got you gotta question monica. Anybody y'all question me in.
- 29:44Speaker 1: The Okay, let's get back to it.
- 29:47Speaker 9: So then when the sun you said you couldn't see,
- 29:50Speaker 9: so here we are sunshine the sun.
- 29:52Speaker 1: And so then you just started walking where.
- 29:56Speaker 10: He in the woods, but you knew the direction home
- 29:59Speaker 10: as where you you know what the.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Sun came up? Uh huh? Who did.
- 30:04Speaker 5: You go out with?
- 30:05Speaker 1: By myself?
- 30:07Speaker 6: I had left work and you went over and I
- 30:10Speaker 6: went over to happy hour and that's where it happened.
- 30:12Speaker 1: My car back at happy hour and my phone is
- 30:15Speaker 1: in my car. So you went to a club a
- 30:18Speaker 1: happy hour with this near the wood.
- 30:20Speaker 10: We gotta go.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Nobody believes who was that?
- 30:23Speaker 9: I went in back there and used bathroom because of
- 30:25Speaker 9: bathroom coming out. We'll have some entertainment news for you
- 30:30Speaker 9: right after this. You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. A
- 30:38Speaker 9: former probation officer in Florida, Crystal Lawson, faces one hundred
- 30:43Speaker 9: and thirteen felony counts with a maximum penalty of five
- 30:47Speaker 9: hundred and sixty five years in prison for all counts combined.
- 30:52Speaker 10: After she now this is what she did.
- 30:54Speaker 9: After she allegedly used her old job credentials as a
- 30:57Speaker 9: probation officer to tip off a drug trafficking organization about
- 31:02Speaker 9: sealed arrest warrants. Okay Field arrest warrant. The thirty two
- 31:08Speaker 9: year old black female, Crystal Lawson got fired for unrelated charges,
- 31:13Speaker 9: and she kept her log in credentials for the Orange
- 31:16Speaker 9: County Judicial Database. Florida authorities state Lawson's actions compromised in
- 31:22Speaker 9: active criminal investigation, causing lost evidence assets, and made it
- 31:27Speaker 9: possible for one suspect to flee. So that's why she's
- 31:32Speaker 9: charged with one hundred and thirteen counts of unauthorized access
- 31:35Speaker 9: to a computer system and each count carries up to
- 31:39Speaker 9: five years in prison, so she could possibly be sentenced
- 31:44Speaker 9: up to five hundred and sixty five years in prison.
- 31:46Speaker 9: She was granted a one point fourteen million dollar bond.
- 31:51Speaker 9: So do you think this sentence punishment? Does it fit
- 31:54Speaker 9: the crime or is it excessive?
- 31:56Speaker 1: What do you think? I think? Of course, the success
- 32:00Speaker 1: said five useful. Yeah, she can't kill nobody.
- 32:05Speaker 9: She just compromised. They say, an active criminal investigation that
- 32:10Speaker 9: resulted in lost evidence assets made it possible for a
- 32:14Speaker 9: suspect to.
- 32:14Speaker 6: Free So now they do that same thing they're doing
- 32:17Speaker 6: with Epstein files. M they made it away somehow, very
- 32:22Speaker 6: good Steve, somehow they made away and it was such
- 32:26Speaker 6: a big deal. I don't understand how that's. That baffles
- 32:29Speaker 6: me that that's pushed under.
- 32:31Speaker 10: The rug because of who's running the White House. Who's
- 32:33Speaker 10: in the White House.
- 32:36Speaker 6: When you got a bunch of petophiles that has violated
- 32:40Speaker 6: the rights of children. Yeah, yeah, man, that's some low
- 32:45Speaker 6: down mess right there. And to not pursue that to
- 32:47Speaker 6: the fullest, it's crazy.
- 32:49Speaker 1: That's why Marjorie Taylor Green quit the Senate because of that.
- 32:53Speaker 10: That's why she quit.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I don't walking away, man. In a minute, this mask
- 32:59Speaker 1: is going to have to come off. What mask? What
- 33:02Speaker 1: do you mean? This mask? This facade that MAGA has
- 33:07Speaker 1: over the country, over each other. They they they've completely
- 33:12Speaker 1: been bamboozled and tricked and deceived and going along with
- 33:16Speaker 1: it like it's all right. Man.
- 33:17Speaker 6: The stupidest thing ever, this MAGA dude said, I'll tell
- 33:21Speaker 6: you how great a president he is before his gay
- 33:26Speaker 6: before he was president. Yeah, my gas tank could only
- 33:31Speaker 6: hold fifty nine dollars a gas Do you know that
- 33:35Speaker 6: my gas tank now can hold one hundred and twenty
- 33:38Speaker 6: one dollars?
- 33:41Speaker 1: Who does that? Who has that ability? I will Wow,
- 33:45Speaker 1: you cannot.
- 33:46Speaker 6: Beat this stupid Oh wow, I saw that guy giving
- 33:51Speaker 6: him full credit for that.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Yeah, the oil prices are hot. He's missing the whole Yeah. Wow.
- 34:01Speaker 9: So she was granted a one point fourteen million dollar
- 34:05Speaker 9: bond and she's facing possibly five hundred and sixty five
- 34:09Speaker 9: years in prison. Wow, that's a lot. Yeah, it's a
- 34:13Speaker 9: whole lot. Punishment does not fit that crime.
- 34:17Speaker 1: All right.
- 34:17Speaker 9: Moving on to TI. We all know and love Ti.
- 34:21Speaker 9: He's declared that he is hanging up his mic and
- 34:25Speaker 9: stepping away from his music career. He is gearing up
- 34:28Speaker 9: to release his final double album. Will be a double album.
- 34:33Speaker 9: It's called Kill the King slash Kiss the King. So
- 34:36Speaker 9: that's the name of the double album, Kill the King,
- 34:39Speaker 9: Kiss the King. He describes a final album as a
- 34:41Speaker 9: metaphor for killing the ego, letting go of the stress
- 34:45Speaker 9: from his King of the South crown, and as a
- 34:47Speaker 9: way of embracing peace of mind. So it sounds like
- 34:50Speaker 9: he's growing up, he's getting older, he's maturing, he's moving on.
- 34:54Speaker 9: TI will go on this his final tour, the King's
- 34:56Speaker 9: Secession Tour, this summer. It kicks off on July eighth. So, Steve,
- 35:01Speaker 9: you decided when it was time for you to retire
- 35:04Speaker 9: from doing stand up comedy and you went out with
- 35:06Speaker 9: a bang in Vegas.

- 35:08Speaker 10: It was a great show. So how did you know
- 35:11Speaker 10: it was time?
- 35:12Speaker 1: I don't know, man, It's just I didn't really want to,
- 35:16Speaker 1: you know.
- 35:17Speaker 6: I just I was faced with the inet efvitable that
- 35:21Speaker 6: I had this growing TV career and if I kept
- 35:23Speaker 6: on doing on stage, because stage used to be such
- 35:26Speaker 6: a freedom you could say what you wanted to say.
- 35:29Speaker 6: But if I become sponsorship driven, I'm not gonna be
- 35:32Speaker 6: able to do that. And if I say something out
- 35:34Speaker 6: there crazy my whole TV career goal and you don't
- 35:36Speaker 6: get them back. Yeah, you don't get them back.
- 35:39Speaker 1: And you know, they had the decision based off.

- 35:48Speaker 9: to this day, Diana Ross.
- 35:50Speaker 6: You know, but I didn't want to be funny at
- 35:52Speaker 6: that way because I look at guys who are older
- 35:56Speaker 6: comics now and it's you know, I can hear their
- 36:01Speaker 6: voice has changed, you know, I can hear it. And
- 36:04Speaker 6: sometimes you don't keep up with the material. Your material
- 36:08Speaker 6: doesn't keep up with your age. Sometimes some guys. Sometimes
- 36:12Speaker 6: guys refuse to discuss the age and they still writing
- 36:15Speaker 6: materials like they was forty and thirty.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Oh it doesn't come right.
- 36:20Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, I watched guy's voices change on stage,
- 36:25Speaker 6: but they don't sound like they used to shun and
- 36:27Speaker 6: they just don't have the same fire. And I'm not
- 36:31Speaker 6: knocking anybody, I'm saying I've just noticed it from some people. Yeah,
- 36:35Speaker 6: some people are just extremely still very funny, but some
- 36:40Speaker 6: people are not. I didn't want to beat that, you.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Know, Yeah, go out on top. Well, I'll tell you what.
- 36:46Speaker 1: When t I dropped that album, I'm gonna get it.

- 56:54Speaker 9: Thank you, nephew. Subject I bought him that last year.
- 56:59Speaker 9: Dear Stephens Early, I'm going through a divorce and my
- 57:02Speaker 9: soon to be ex husband moved on with another woman
- 57:05Speaker 9: before I moved out of the house.
- 57:07Speaker 1: It was the disrespect for me.
- 57:09Speaker 9: He'd come home in the wee hours of the morning,
- 57:12Speaker 9: smelling like a woman with his shirt balled up in
- 57:14Speaker 9: his hand. I'm sure it had makeup or something worse
- 57:18Speaker 9: on it. Near the end, he told me that he
- 57:20Speaker 9: never wanted to hurt me or leave the marriage, but
- 57:23Speaker 9: he had to sort some things out. He said it
- 57:25Speaker 9: was not over another woman. I believed him at first,
- 57:29Speaker 9: but he started staying out all night, and then I
- 57:31Speaker 9: knew he was on to something else. When he gave
- 57:34Speaker 9: me the divorce papers, I didn't flinch and I did
- 57:37Speaker 9: not let him see me cry or look depressed. I
- 57:40Speaker 9: kept going and I found a rental house close to
- 57:43Speaker 9: my job. He would fake cry and tell me he's
- 57:46Speaker 9: going through so much, and he loves how understanding I am.
- 57:50Speaker 9: He is not a good actor, and he's terrible at
- 57:53Speaker 9: covering his tracks. One of my sorority sisters started following
- 57:57Speaker 9: him on social media last year.
- 57:59Speaker 10: He didn't allow her back, but I did. A few
- 58:02Speaker 10: weeks ago.
- 58:03Speaker 9: She posted a selfie in front of my husband's SUV
- 58:07Speaker 9: and she was wearing a gold necklace with a diamond
- 58:10Speaker 9: O one pendant hanging on it. I had it made
- 58:13Speaker 9: for my husband a year ago to signify that he
- 58:16Speaker 9: was one of one, my number one, my king. He
- 58:21Speaker 9: never took the necklace off when I gave it to him.
- 58:23Speaker 9: I was sick to my stomach when I saw her
- 58:26Speaker 9: wearing it. It's like she wanted me to see it.
- 58:29Speaker 9: A friend of a friend told me they have been
- 58:31Speaker 9: together for a while and this woman is not a
- 58:34Speaker 9: shamed to tell people that he left his wife for her.
- 58:38Speaker 10: It hurt like heck, but I got closure.
- 58:41Speaker 1: Finally. It hurt like hell, she can have him, but
- 58:45Speaker 1: not the necklace. I hear you see. Okay, you could
- 58:52Speaker 1: say hell, you all that. I chose not to, not
- 58:58Speaker 1: to say hell, she.
- 58:59Speaker 9: Can have him, but not the necklace. Okay, I told
- 59:03Speaker 9: my husband to give the necklace back and he laughed.
- 59:06Speaker 9: Am I wrong for asking?
- 59:09Speaker 7: Well?
- 59:09Speaker 9: You know My answer to that is now, of course not.
- 59:12Speaker 9: You can ask anyone anything, especially your husband. But I'm
- 59:16Speaker 9: just gonna say this to you. Just stop, don't be petty.
- 59:21Speaker 9: Let that necklace go. It is okay. It represents some
- 59:25Speaker 9: bad memories for you, It really does. I mean, it
- 59:28Speaker 9: represents your husband cheating on you, lying to you, And
- 59:31Speaker 9: that's what you're gonna think of every time you see
- 59:33Speaker 9: that necklace.
- 59:35Speaker 10: The bad parts, the bad parts. And why would you
- 59:39Speaker 10: want that?
- 59:39Speaker 1: Because you are.
- 59:40Speaker 9: Moving on right, you already got a house and everything.
- 59:43Speaker 9: I mean, after all, your husband has for sure moved
- 59:46Speaker 9: on and he did it with your soro. You need
- 59:49Speaker 9: to make new and better memories in your new life
- 59:53Speaker 9: again since you're leaving, just leave clean. I mean you
- 59:56Speaker 9: can note that if this were money or something like that,
- 59:59Speaker 9: cash or whatever, I wouldn't tell you the same thing.
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: I would say, yeah, fight for it, go get it.
- 1:00:04Speaker 9: But this is this is a necklace. Okay, this is
- 1:00:07Speaker 9: a necklace. It may have some sentimental value to you,
- 1:00:10Speaker 9: but I think those sentiments are gonna end up hurting
- 1:00:14Speaker 9: you and stuff like that instead of you know what
- 1:00:17Speaker 9: you want him for. I think he laughed, you said
- 1:00:20Speaker 9: when you asked him to give the necklace back anyway,
- 1:00:23Speaker 9: And I just say, if you're truly moving on, do
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: it and don't look back necklace and all leave it, Steve.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: I'm you know, look, let me start at the bottom
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: of the letter. Am I wrong for?
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: I told my husband that he had to give me
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: the necklace back? And he laughed at I wrong?
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Fast?
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: Yeah, you did wrong fast? It ain't sure it's his,
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: it's his necklace. You gave it to him. If you
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: get a divorce, you gonna give him the ring back? Nope,
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: so and you shouldn't because it's yours. So you know,
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: ain't nobody else giving it back either. It's no no,
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: and you're dead wrong fasting for it back. But let
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: me go on back to the top of the letter. Now,
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: this is what I don't understand. You're going through a
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: divorce soon. Your ex husband moved in with another woman
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: before you moved out.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Of the house. It's the disrespect for me.
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: He come home in the wee hours of the morning
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: smelling like a woman with his shirt balled up in
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: his hand?
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: What?
- 1:01:35Speaker 13: Who do that?
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: What?
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Why even bring his shirt home? Stop throwing away? It
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: ain't that much. Let that go.
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: That shirt you don't even need to bring that's evidence.
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: You don't even need to bring that in the house.
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: Should have threw that out the window? The hell you
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: look like walking in the house when old shirt on
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: got their shirt with the makeup stuff on it in
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: your hand ball up like she ain't gonna say that,
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: baby boy, your shirt?
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: I don't know what?
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: What what one shirt? The one is in your hand?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Why is ball up?
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: Why even make that a question. I'm sure it had
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: makeup or something worse on it. Near the end, he
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: told me he never wanted to hurt me or leave
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: the marriage, but he had to sort some things out.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: What the hell do that mean? I never meant to
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: hurt you or lead a marriage, but I need to
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: sort some things out?
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: The hell did that mean? He said it was not
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: over another woman? I believed him at first? How how
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: you believe him at first?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: He's standing in front of you with no shirt on,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: and the shirt he had on his ball up in
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: his hand. You believe what at first? This ain't about
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: no woman? Why is your shirt balled up in your hand? Man?
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Oh man, oh man, I don't know what to tell you.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Letty brave. I'm gonna tear you to rest. Okay, all right,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: hang on.
- 1:03:06Speaker 9: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: twenty three minutes after today's Strawberry letter. Subject is I
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: bought him that last year. We'll get back into it
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: right after this. You're listening Dame Harvey Morning Show. Your

- 1:03:57Speaker 9: Paramount plus dot com to get started. All right, come on,
- 1:04:01Speaker 9: Steve Let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is I
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: bought him that last year.
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: This woman is leaving her husband and getting a divorce.
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: She's upset because he moved well on with another woman
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: before I moved out with the house. He said, he
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: moved on with another woman before I moved out of
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: the house. He didn't move out the house. He moved
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: on with another woman before she moved out of the house.
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: It was disrespectful me. He come in the wee hours
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: of the morning, smelling like a woman, with his shirt balled.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Up in his hand.
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: I don't know how to heal you do that? How
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: he ain't had two shirts at least? And why did
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: you bring that shirt to the house balled up. It's
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: just you stupid the do this so stupid. I'm sure
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: it had makeup on her or something worse. And near
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: the end he told me they never wanted to hurt
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: me or leave a marriage, but he had to sort
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: some things out. I don't know what the hell that means.
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: He said it wasn't over woman. I believed him at first.
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: You believed him at first. Now at first you believed him.
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: But he's standing there with no shirt, with the shirt
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: balled up in his hand. What, man, where do these
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: women at? Because I ain't never had on no man, No, no,
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: I've never had I had women. What Why is your
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: shirt in your head? I'm going through some things. Why
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: do I smell all that perfumeer stuff? It's not a
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: woman anyway. Well then then she said, but he started
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: staying out all night. Then I knew he was on
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: to something else when he gave me the divorce papers. Wow,
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: that was a quick jump. After you let him go
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: with the shirt ball up in his hand, Then he
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: starts staying out all night, Then he gave you divorce papers.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Surprised.
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: I didn't flinch. I didn't let him on the crowd nothing.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: Look depressed none of that. I just kept going found
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: the rental house. But you know, he's not a good actor.
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: He would fake cry and tell me he's going through
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: so much and he loves how understanding I am. He
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: ain't a good actor and he's terrible at coming this tracks.
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: And you said one of your sorority sisters started following
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: them on social media.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: He didn't follow her.
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: Back, but I did a few weeks ago, she posted
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: a selfie in front of my husband's a s UV.
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: She was wearing a gold necklace with a diamonds zero
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: one old one pended hanging on it. I had it
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: made for my husband year ago, signify that he was
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: one of one, my number one, my king. You ain't
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: lying he won to one, because I don't know no
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: dude that come in the house with their shirt ball
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: up in their hands.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: He is definitely a one over one man.
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: Did anything with that shirt that had it in my hand? Yes,
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: he never took the necklace off when I gave it
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: to her. I was sick to my stomach when I
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: saw her where It's like she wanted me to see it,
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: see but lady, and then a friend of a friend
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: told me they've been together for a while, and this
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: woman is not ashamed to tell people he left his
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: wife for her. It hurt like hell, but I got closure.
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: Finally she could have him, but not the necklace. I
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: told my husband to give the necklace back, and he laughed.
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: Am I wrong for asking?
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: Yes, you're wrong for asking, because it's his. You asked
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: him for it back. He started laughing.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: You gave it to him.
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: Because you said he was one of a one, your
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: number one, and your king. He took it off his
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: neck and gave it to her because she's one of
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: a one, his queen.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: And he gave it to it. My question to you is,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: why do you even want the necklace? What good is
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: the necklace? I mean, really, what so you can say
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: you got it back?

- 1:13:56Speaker 1: My mama's pad game started too.
- 1:14:00Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: from Kwanda in Huntsville. Kwanda says, my son is going
- 1:14:12Speaker 9: to be going to the military, and he's in a
- 1:14:14Speaker 9: tumultuous marriage at age twenty two. My fear is that
- 1:14:19Speaker 9: she's going to get pregnant before he leaves. The girl
- 1:14:23Speaker 9: is three years older than he is and pressured him
- 1:14:26Speaker 9: to marry her in Vegas. She doesn't work, and he's
- 1:14:29Speaker 9: been working two jobs to support her. I think she's
- 1:14:32Speaker 9: with him for his military benefits, but I cannot get
- 1:14:36Speaker 9: him to see that. She publicly cusses him out and
- 1:14:39Speaker 9: belittles him in front of me.
- 1:14:41Speaker 10: I can't take it. How do I get him to
- 1:14:44Speaker 10: divorce her?
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: Ooh, number one, this ain't your business. That's the start,
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: and you can probably get him to divorce her. To say, well,
- 1:14:56Speaker 6: you got your husband to divorce you. What she wants
- 1:15:03Speaker 6: to know how can she get her son to divorce
- 1:15:07Speaker 6: his wife who cusses him out in front of him?
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: And then I said, you could probably get him to
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: divorce his wife the same way you got your husband
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: to divorce you.
- 1:15:19Speaker 10: Okay, and you mean what by that?
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Just what I said, but we're not following you.
- 1:15:26Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, she knows how to break a relationship up
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: because she ain't anyone. That's why she all in her
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: son's business because she ain't got none. Now, somebody then
- 1:15:37Speaker 6: left her. Now, however, you got them to leave you,
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: You could tell your son exactly how to do that.
- 1:15:45Speaker 6: But don't ask us to tell to help you find
- 1:15:48Speaker 6: a way to get your son to get a divorce.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: It ain't your business.
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: So you're saying, stay out of the man, stay out
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: of it. It ain't your business. Yeah.
- 1:16:00Speaker 9: As a mom though, she this is hurtful. She don't
- 1:16:04Speaker 9: want she doesn't want her son see her son go
- 1:16:06Speaker 9: through this and all of that.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: So, yeah, but I got with you.
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: Where is his daddy? Yeah, Shell, you may understand the
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: root of all this problem. If she don't know or
- 1:16:19Speaker 6: she can't get her daddy to help him out. Why
- 1:16:22Speaker 6: is his daddy not helping him out because she then
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: ran him off?
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Well, you don't know that. Yeah, you don't know that.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Do you hear his letter right here?
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: Yes, she's trying to.
- 1:16:36Speaker 11: Promise her son he's going to the military. The marriage
- 1:16:42Speaker 11: isn't good, her son's marriage. Want him to ruin his
- 1:16:46Speaker 11: life with this girl.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Yeah, he ain't gonna ruin his life. He's gonna be
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: on You can recover from me. I did it twice.
- 1:16:52Speaker 9: You did not get publicly cussed out. Okay, I'm not
- 1:17:01Speaker 9: getting into that. That's not my business. You never mind,
- 1:17:07Speaker 9: never mind, we have time for another We're going to
- 1:17:09Speaker 9: move on. This is from Will and Savannah. Will says,
- 1:17:13Speaker 9: I am forty four years old and I have four
- 1:17:15Speaker 9: adult children. I had my two kids when I was young,
- 1:17:19Speaker 9: and I don't want to start over. I've met some
- 1:17:22Speaker 9: wonderful women that either have at young kids or they
- 1:17:25Speaker 9: want to have children. The woman I'm dating has an
- 1:17:28Speaker 9: eight year old daughter. To me, that's ten years more
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: or ten more years of parenting if I were to
- 1:17:35Speaker 9: marry this woman. Am I crazy to let a good
- 1:17:37Speaker 9: woman go because she has a young child?
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Yep? Yeah, next question.
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: That's it.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: That's all he wants to know. Yeah, that's what I
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: just told him. Yeah, it is stupid.
- 1:17:51Speaker 10: And you're saying that to him because why?
- 1:17:54Speaker 6: Yeah? Because look, man, you gonna let a great woman
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: go because she got an eight year old child?
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Are you crazy? Are you really?
- 1:18:01Speaker 7: You?
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: You that shallow? He doesn't want to be bothered with
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: raising a kid again.
- 1:18:07Speaker 9: Yeah, because he has four adult children already, and so
- 1:18:09Speaker 9: he just wants to he's forty four and he just
- 1:18:11Speaker 9: wants to live his life, you know.
- 1:18:14Speaker 6: Ok great, all right, cool? Great, up with you, break
- 1:18:17Speaker 6: up with the great woman, and good luck finding the
- 1:18:19Speaker 6: next one.
- 1:18:22Speaker 10: Okay, all right, So that's selfish of him.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Everything you want comes out of cost everything, Yeah, that's true.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: That's ye. I think that that has a cost attached.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: It's a cost to it. You don't get to be
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: happy just for free.
- 1:18:38Speaker 9: Yeah, that's right. Steve, you got a second all right,
- 1:18:43Speaker 9: thank you, coming up at twenty minutes after. We'll have

- 1:25:26Speaker 1: And it coincided with a couple of things.
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: Because there's a different boy that gets off the bus
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: than that used to get off the bus seventeen years ago.
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: It just he is man, and we've had to mentor
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: them differently because it's just a softer boy. You know,
- 1:25:49Speaker 6: it's just different man. You can't I can't mentor them
- 1:25:54Speaker 6: the way I used to do. I had to the
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: tough love approach. I had to soft because it's just
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: been too much for them. So I've had to make
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: your adjustments. A couple of things I talked to the
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: young men about because they're very, very bright man, and
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: I was asking them because I don't have the ability
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: to do it. I'm not of the age group and
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: I'm not of the genre. And I was talking about
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: hip hop, and I was talking about, man, when are
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: we going to redo the way we do hip hop?
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: When are we going to take it back to it
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: was original roots of hip hop. I never heard anybody
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: saying talk about black women discouragingly and mistreating or abusing
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: and degrading black women in their music when it first
- 1:26:50Speaker 6: came out, But as hip hop evolved, the regulations went
- 1:26:56Speaker 6: out the window.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: All of a sudden.
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: We just was degrading black women all day long in
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: the music. Man to black women, have no respect in
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: our music.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: We just don't do it.
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: And I was asking the young people, when can y'all
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: stop this and turn it around, because y'all these y'all
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: are the new content creators. You all are the new producers.
- 1:27:21Speaker 6: When y'all gonna stop that and say, hey man, we
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: ain't putting that in no more. It ain't gonna hurt
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: you to take it out. Disrespecting black women should be out,
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: but it's not. I can't make it happen. I don't
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: produce no music, I don't buy none of that, so
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: I can't bring about the calls and effect. I'm too old.
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: You're not gonna listen to me, but y'all will listen
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: to each other. And at one point in time, young brothers,
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: we're gonna have to put the respect back in the game.
- 1:27:54Speaker 6: We're so disrespectful that the black girls in rap now
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: they don't even respect each other. You talk about your
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: own self and your own body like it's a piece
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: of property. It's just don't make no sense to me. Man,
- 1:28:10Speaker 6: y'all got to do something about this. I have noticed
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: that you all are starting to dress a lot better.
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: I'm looking at the red carpets that come along now
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: to be ets. Y'all coming down that carpet looking like something.
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: It'd be cool if you acted like that. And look, man,
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: I ain't coming down on you telling you exactly what
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: you need to do, but you need to do something.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: I can't see it.
- 1:28:36Speaker 6: So you know you know you need to do something,
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: y'all because we can't continue this way because we're hurting ourselves.
- 1:28:44Speaker 6: And that leads me right on into social media. I
- 1:28:51Speaker 6: can't believe, man, how we go out of our way
- 1:28:55Speaker 6: to destroy one another on social media. Look, man, once again, y'all, look,
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: I know I'm of an older generation.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: I got that.
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: I'm even past unk now because cats that's forty years old,
- 1:29:10Speaker 6: y'all call them unk. So I don't know what category
- 1:29:14Speaker 6: I fit into, but I do care, man, I care
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: about young people I've been. They did the numbers, man,
- 1:29:22Speaker 6: of how many young men's lives I've affected over the
- 1:29:25Speaker 6: period that I've been doing it personally with at my camps.
- 1:29:30Speaker 6: Twenty five thousand boys. Twenty five thousand boys. They gave
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: me the numbers yesterday.
- 1:29:41Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: That put tears in my eyes. So it's not like
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: I'm coming at you from a perspective of I'm just
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: sitting on my high horse and I ain't doing nothing
- 1:29:48Speaker 6: about it. I'm trying to help, man, but I can't
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: get to you all musically, and I can't get to
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: you all on social media because I am not current enough.
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: I ain't never been in hip hop. I got nothing
- 1:30:04Speaker 6: to do with hip hop. I don't control it. I
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: enjoyed it, and at the same time, I dislike it,
- 1:30:11Speaker 6: but I'm participating in social media.
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: I enjoy it, but there's so much of it. I dislike.
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: We have got to stop destroying ourselves while they sit
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: back and watch and laugh.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: When do we stop cheering for each other? When do
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: we stop celebrating each other?
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: Shikari Richardson, Man, they jumped on her so bad when
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: that uh, when she got suspended for the doping incident.
- 1:30:41Speaker 6: Now she back winning, and she a little sad and
- 1:30:44Speaker 6: by the way she got treated, and I don't blame her,
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: and they still don't give her propers. They still don't
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: give her her props on CNN, I mean, on a
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: sports center, none of that.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: That girl is cold. We don't share for each other
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: no more.
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: Now when we do get into a position where we
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: are something, we gotta watch what we do and say two,
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: don't get up there and forget now because a minute
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: ago you wasn't nothing. Now you something, and now you
- 1:31:17Speaker 6: don't care no more. Because we are still the only
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: race of people that's responsible for the actions of each other.
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: We are still the only race of people who are
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: accountable to everybody else in the race. Sorry, that's just
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: who we are. But we got to stop destroying each
- 1:31:34Speaker 6: other on social media, and we have got to stop
- 1:31:36Speaker 6: destroying each other on in our music and the young people,
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: y'all know how to do this. Man, I'm just asking you,
- 1:31:43Speaker 6: show me.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: I'll help you that. We gotta stop those A'm are
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: closing with mass. We gotta have a great day to
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: day to talk to God today. You'd absolutely love to
