- 0:15Speaker 1: like the milling bus things and its cubs. Y'all good it.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve Hart listening to the movie Together for study. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join by join me. You go with me, Honey.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn you, you gotta turn the turnow. You
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out. Then turn the water, the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back. That it h I share
- 2:02Speaker 1: will good marning. Everybody you are listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on now dig me one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 1: Man got a radio show. What God doing, y'all? Huh?
- 2:16Speaker 1: What are he doing? What are he doing in your life?
- 2:17Speaker 1: Here doing something? He moving? He working. Don't lose your
- 2:21Speaker 1: patience though so I did that before. Don't lose your patience.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Don't don't. Don't get so sick of waiting that you
- 2:30Speaker 1: take matters into your own hands. Don't do that. Boy,
- 2:34Speaker 1: you're blowing it. Listen to me. You're listening to somebody
- 2:37Speaker 1: who's done it that way. I had a dream. I
- 2:41Speaker 1: had a vision. I had some hope, I had some faith,
- 2:44Speaker 1: I had some aspirations. But I got a little impatient
- 2:48Speaker 1: waiting on it. So I tried a couple other things
- 2:51Speaker 1: move it along. But I can't tell you how I
- 2:53Speaker 1: messed it up. Then I messed it up. Then, because
- 2:56Speaker 1: God gave me the power of decision, what I had
- 2:58Speaker 1: to do was then after I took matters into my
- 3:01Speaker 1: own hand, messed it up. Now, guess what, He still
- 3:05Speaker 1: got something from me. But now I gotta fix all
- 3:08Speaker 1: the mistakes. Now, I gotta straighten them out. I gotta
- 3:11Speaker 1: I gotta suffer some consequences. I gotta pay for my transgressions,
- 3:14Speaker 1: all of that, All of that, it's gotta go down.
- 3:18Speaker 1: You can't do something wrong and not pay for it.
- 3:22Speaker 1: It's you call it, calma, call it whatever you wanna
- 3:25Speaker 1: call it. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction
- 3:30Speaker 1: every action. If it just stays sunny all the time,
- 3:34Speaker 1: you might think it's cool, but there's gonna be a
- 3:36Speaker 1: reaction to it. Ain't no dark, ain't no shade, ain't
- 3:39Speaker 1: no break, ain't no rain. Gonna be hard if it's
- 3:43Speaker 1: just sunny all the time, vice versa. So you need
- 3:48Speaker 1: you need the opposite. You need the darkness so you
- 3:50Speaker 1: can get your break from that sun. You need the rain,
- 3:54Speaker 1: so you can nourish the roots so that sun it
- 3:57Speaker 1: can soak up the sun and get the benefit of
- 3:59Speaker 1: the son. If you don't get the opposite, you got
- 4:02Speaker 1: a problem, man. And it happens throughout nature, it happens
- 4:05Speaker 1: throughout your life. Don't think that you can do wrong
- 4:10Speaker 1: and not have to pay for that. See so mighty
- 4:13Speaker 1: as we're just going to get with that now, because
- 4:16Speaker 1: that's it. You reap what you sold. That's it. That's
- 4:21Speaker 1: that's that's standard that that's a rule, that's a law
- 4:26Speaker 1: of nature, that's God's law. You can't get around that.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. You want to be
- 4:31Speaker 1: the world's greatest drug pin You're gonna die just like that.
- 4:36Speaker 1: You reap misery on other people's lives, misery coming to
- 4:39Speaker 1: your life. You can justify it and call while I'm
- 4:43Speaker 1: in a gang, dismhood, you call it whatever you want
- 4:45Speaker 1: to call it. With that foolishness, you file and you
- 4:48Speaker 1: out of line, and you're gonna pay for that. Do
- 4:51Speaker 1: you think this is man? We We we think man
- 4:54Speaker 1: because we'd have made a decision that we think is
- 4:56Speaker 1: best for us, and no matter how it to affect
- 4:58Speaker 1: nobody else, we out the right to make that call.
- 5:01Speaker 1: No you don't, No, you don't. Whoever is telling you that,
- 5:05Speaker 1: whoever's misguiding you into the gang life, telling you, yeah, man,
- 5:09Speaker 1: you need to be this a way to be down
- 5:10Speaker 1: with us. I'll tell you what. Get yourself stuck on
- 5:13Speaker 1: chuck with that gang. See how many of them be
- 5:14Speaker 1: there for you. Oh, they'll go around the corner with
- 5:17Speaker 1: you and starts shooting. But okay, when it's time to
- 5:20Speaker 1: do some time and they can lessen their centers, you're
- 5:24Speaker 1: gonna get that time. They're gonna point their finger dead
- 5:26Speaker 1: at you. I watched for eight hours all the time, man,
- 5:28Speaker 1: I watched a locker up raw all the time, all
- 5:31Speaker 1: the time, man, all the time. Ain't no real cold
- 5:34Speaker 1: dudes out there, just holding to the mantra and sticking
- 5:38Speaker 1: to it. Even the mob turns stateside, evidence go fed
- 5:41Speaker 1: all that. Now we are in the out the hood.
- 5:44Speaker 1: We didn't created this ignorant mess called no snitching. With
- 5:47Speaker 1: that ignorant mess, you don't even understand. No snitching was
- 5:50Speaker 1: created by criminals as a code of honor. If you
- 5:53Speaker 1: do dirt and you get busted doing the dirt, don't
- 5:55Speaker 1: bring my name up. If I was with you, that's
- 5:58Speaker 1: a code of honor amongst the thieves. Now, so many
- 6:01Speaker 1: code of honor thieves that then came out of prison.
- 6:03Speaker 1: They ain't got no honor. They then bought that stuff
- 6:05Speaker 1: back to the street. Now that's all in the neighborhood.
- 6:07Speaker 1: No snitching. No snitching, you gotta be crazy. That's for
- 6:11Speaker 1: people who disobey the law. That's who people have made
- 6:14Speaker 1: a code of honor amongst themselves as thieves. Hey, man,
- 6:17Speaker 1: if you get busted, don't drag me down. What you
- 6:19Speaker 1: just do your time? Oh man, you can't bring that
- 6:22Speaker 1: stuff out here to me. I'm a law biden citizen dog.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I'm trying to live right over here. Man. I don't
- 6:28Speaker 1: want to crack house up street from my mama's house.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I'm trying to do right out here. Man, you can't
- 6:33Speaker 1: do wrong and expect wrong not to come to you.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You got to make a decision every day to do right.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Ask God. I was watching this thing on TV. This
- 6:41Speaker 1: gang down in Miami. They say a prab before they
- 6:45Speaker 1: go out and do a hit. What what? What? You're crazy?
- 6:50Speaker 1: Who have you? Let tell you? This hoghest work got
- 6:54Speaker 1: something ritual they go through man like God, going honor
- 6:56Speaker 1: them and protect them on some dirt. God ain't got
- 7:00Speaker 1: no protection from you on dirt. You got what you
- 7:02Speaker 1: got coming. You made a decision. You go down there
- 7:06Speaker 1: to get some you might got get got see, we
- 7:10Speaker 1: got to come on. I'm talking to so many men
- 7:13Speaker 1: out here right now. I should have said that adn't
- 7:15Speaker 1: be getting but a conversation kind of got away from me.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I was going to talk to you about something else
- 7:19Speaker 1: this morning, but did just only man, because our communities. Man,
- 7:22Speaker 1: it's just going to the pot man, because it ain't
- 7:25Speaker 1: nobody can about nobody else. Don't nobody care when they
- 7:30Speaker 1: see that young dude over that doing wrong. Look at
- 7:32Speaker 1: them foods over that man, Go over there and talk
- 7:34Speaker 1: to one of them. Put them to the side. Man,
- 7:37Speaker 1: you might not be able to approach the group, but
- 7:39Speaker 1: you can approach an individual. Come in, young man, Let
- 7:42Speaker 1: me talk to you. I saw you the other day. Man.
- 7:43Speaker 1: You look like you got something going on in your life.
- 7:45Speaker 1: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you, man,
- 7:48Speaker 1: Let me share something I learned. I was doing what
- 7:50Speaker 1: you was doing. You know. It's like Tommy did a
- 7:53Speaker 1: prank phone call one time as a limo driver and
- 7:57Speaker 1: the dude The prank was he called this limo company
- 8:00Speaker 1: to ask this limo driver to take him to this
- 8:04Speaker 1: location late at night, and the limo driver got a
- 8:07Speaker 1: young business he going, yeah, okay, I got you. I
- 8:09Speaker 1: don't normally work like that. But how long you need it?
- 8:12Speaker 1: He say for just about an hour? He said, well,
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to charge you for the full three though,
- 8:16Speaker 1: because a three hour minimum. Tommy told him, now, I
- 8:19Speaker 1: just need it for one hours. He said, okay, I'll
- 8:21Speaker 1: give you a break. Young man. You're trying to do something.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Where you want to go? He gave an address. The
- 8:25Speaker 1: man stopped writing. He said, that's a bank. He said yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He said, you want to go to the bank at
- 8:32Speaker 1: twelve thirty at night. He say, yeah, and I'm gonna
- 8:35Speaker 1: being for a few minutes. And when I come out
- 8:38Speaker 1: that bank, I need for you to flow it. That
- 8:41Speaker 1: to dude with the limo. He stopped writing. He said, ho,
- 8:44Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, man, you want me to take
- 8:48Speaker 1: you to a bank twelve thirty at night. You're gonna
- 8:50Speaker 1: be in there for a few minutes and you're gonna
- 8:53Speaker 1: come out, and you want me to float it. He says, sir,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I don't do stuff like that. He said, you got
- 8:58Speaker 1: the wrong company. He said, what made you call here?
- 9:01Speaker 1: He said, hey, man, don't worry about that. You a
- 9:02Speaker 1: limo come to you. Just dry. He stopped and took
- 9:05Speaker 1: the time out. He said, young man, let me tell
- 9:08Speaker 1: you something. He say, I've been down before, I've been
- 9:11Speaker 1: locked up before. It ain't pretty. He said, that's what's
- 9:15Speaker 1: wrong with you young people to day. Instead of going
- 9:17Speaker 1: to get a job, trying to work your way, you're
- 9:19Speaker 1: always looking for some fast money. He's I'm gonna tell
- 9:21Speaker 1: you what I already know. Don't go down they're messing
- 9:23Speaker 1: with them people's money like that because they love that
- 9:25Speaker 1: money where more than they love you, and they're gonna
- 9:28Speaker 1: do something to you down now. Now, you stop this foolishness.
- 9:31Speaker 1: And I'm not caring you nowhere, but I'm gonna take
- 9:33Speaker 1: a little bit of time out to tell you something.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Don't go down here with messing with these people's money
- 9:39Speaker 1: because it ain't gonna go good. They're gonna take care
- 9:41Speaker 1: of their business where they come to that money. Tommy
- 9:43Speaker 1: kept insisting to this man to pick him up in
- 9:45Speaker 1: the limit. It was a playing phone call. But the
- 9:47Speaker 1: point I'm making is the man took out time. He
- 9:50Speaker 1: could just hung the phone up. But you know what
- 9:52Speaker 1: he's said, he's a hold up young man. Let me
- 9:55Speaker 1: hip you to something. Because the brother had been locked
- 9:57Speaker 1: up before. He said, no, no, no, I see I've
- 9:59Speaker 1: done that when I was. Now I'm gonna stop and
- 10:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna take some moment out to tell you. I'm
- 10:03Speaker 1: gonna here, working man trying to earn an honest living.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I ain't going back down there because I don't. I don't.
- 10:08Speaker 1: They make you eat what they want you to eat.
- 10:09Speaker 1: You don't want the food. You gotta get up when
- 10:11Speaker 1: they say get up. You gotta stay where they say stay,
- 10:13Speaker 1: live with who they say live. He said, man, you
- 10:16Speaker 1: don't want that, and he just tried to talk the
- 10:18Speaker 1: young man out of it. You can change a young
- 10:21Speaker 1: man's mind with a conversation. A conversation can change a
- 10:25Speaker 1: young man's man. Most of these young men that are
- 10:27Speaker 1: misguided ain't having conversations with real men. They're just not
- 10:31Speaker 1: having them. And it's up to us, who know what
- 10:34Speaker 1: manhood is is to start delivering the message. The problem
- 10:37Speaker 1: that we have in our communities we could solve ourselves.
- 10:40Speaker 1: It don't escalated to a point because we who are men,
- 10:43Speaker 1: won't stop on our corporate climb and our day to
- 10:46Speaker 1: day making money and trying to ball out. We won't
- 10:50Speaker 1: stop and grab some of these young soldiers and tell
- 10:52Speaker 1: them the truth about manhood. That's the real deal. Okay,
- 10:55Speaker 1: So I went there. I don't know where they came from.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're listening to show Top Top Top, Top, Top Tops,
- 11:04Speaker 1: Top up the morning. It is a Steve Happy morning show.

- 15:01Speaker 1: You know, I was on Vaca for a minute, you
- 15:03Speaker 1: know when I did that. When it did. When I

- 15:39Speaker 1: as you get older, you you spend your time, uh
- 15:42Speaker 1: doing different things. Umm. Not sure if y'all in the
- 15:45Speaker 1: bird houses, but I'm building those now bird box. Y'all
- 15:50Speaker 1: saw bird box? Yeah, you know what I'm building. When
- 15:53Speaker 1: I'm building, ain't got nothing to do with that. I'm
- 15:54Speaker 1: talking straight bird mansions. I'm doing three levels, trying to
- 15:59Speaker 1: change the game. You're blindfolded. No, no, no, no, I'm
- 16:03Speaker 1: I'm designing them in everything. Modern birdhouses is what I'm
- 16:06Speaker 1: calling them. Glass doors, escalators, elevators are pretty much doing
- 16:11Speaker 1: it all. Pigeons, low key pigeons and things like that. Yeah. Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 1: Well you have a movie coming out. It's called The Upside,
- 16:18Speaker 1: and we're gonna get to that in just a moment, Kevin.
- 16:21Speaker 1: But we do want to talk about, first of all,
- 16:23Speaker 1: how are you? How's your family? Because I'm good, my
- 16:26Speaker 1: family good? Why are you pressing me because you're doing
- 16:32Speaker 1: what's pressing me? Because why are you're swelling all up?
- 16:35Speaker 1: Why are you talking to me checking on my checking
- 16:38Speaker 1: on my seeds? My all spend? How you say? What
- 16:46Speaker 1: you what you trying to do? What you're trying to
- 16:49Speaker 1: do as you can relax, Okay, I just don't like
- 16:53Speaker 1: how y'all coming to mecause how your family? Somebody about
- 16:57Speaker 1: to catch it. I'm we were gonna ask you how
- 17:06Speaker 1: was the holidays. Holidays is great. I just want you
- 17:09Speaker 1: want to know I've been wearing wife beaters for the
- 17:10Speaker 1: last three days. Alight, I'm out here. I'm out here.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I got some dicky shorts, wife beaters, and I'm out
- 17:23Speaker 1: here and a good place. Like sound like I'm in
- 17:30Speaker 1: a bad place. Don't sound like I'm doing sound like
- 17:34Speaker 1: something wrong with me. So we're just checking on you.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I'm straightening, Okay, I'm straight to me. Okay. If I
- 17:42Speaker 1: tell you that a duck and pull a truck, you
- 17:44Speaker 1: go outside and strap it up and you just shut
- 17:46Speaker 1: you better be lucky. I'm on. If I was on
- 17:48Speaker 1: radio man, all right, hang on, Kevin, Okay, somebody get
- 17:52Speaker 1: him something? Yeah, coffee bad? So Kevin, you can't get
- 17:59Speaker 1: an attitude because you gotta be here all morning with us. I'de,
- 18:03Speaker 1: I ain't got no attitude. Do I sound like I
- 18:06Speaker 1: got an attitude? I sound like I got an attitude? Yeah,
- 18:11Speaker 1: because it's because it's just maybe it's because it's early,
- 18:13Speaker 1: because it's maybe it's up. You think it's maybe it's ups.
- 18:17Speaker 1: It's not anything I asked, no question. Have an attitude
- 18:20Speaker 1: with Michael Strahan. I know that body. So let's see,
- 18:26Speaker 1: we ask you about your family, We ask you how
- 18:28Speaker 1: we're the holidays. You said everything was good, everything was good.
- 18:32Speaker 1: So where are you with that? What is going on?
- 18:34Speaker 1: Just let us know as your family. I let you
- 18:37Speaker 1: know the same thing I said everybody else out the attitude. Okay,
- 18:41Speaker 1: family and no family, surely I said them over. Yes,
- 18:45Speaker 1: that's what I wanted you to have. You. Have you
- 18:49Speaker 1: talked to your pastor? May I ain't said nothing in
- 18:53Speaker 1: my past. My pastor can't say nothing to me right now,
- 18:58Speaker 1: right now. I ain't trying to hear that. Right now.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Try to hear prayer. Yeah, I ain't trying to hear
- 19:02Speaker 1: that right now. You ain't trying to hear prayer. I
- 19:05Speaker 1: ain't trying to hear. No. Bow your head right now,
- 19:08Speaker 1: not right now. Back up, everybody, back up, everybody back up,
- 19:16Speaker 1: everybody back up. How to turn into that guy? I've
- 19:18Speaker 1: been Colt forty five in Newport with the secret behind
- 19:24Speaker 1: you here, behind your ear. Somebody, somebody go get me
- 19:28Speaker 1: some Winston's strong man. No all jokes aside. I'm in
- 19:38Speaker 1: a good place. Man. You know we're playing it. We're
- 19:40Speaker 1: being silly right now. But you know I've just made
- 19:42Speaker 1: the decision to just literally just say, Okay, I'm done.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I moved on. I'm literally just not I'm not entertaining
- 19:49Speaker 1: or addressing what I've addressed several times anymore. That's so
- 19:53Speaker 1: we got to say, I'm so proud of you for
- 19:55Speaker 1: saying that, Kevin, because I think you're taking a stand.
- 19:57Speaker 1: You're taking a serious stand, because you're right you when
- 20:01Speaker 1: what you said. I mean, if you once you apologize,
- 20:04Speaker 1: people keep asking you have to apologize over and oh,
- 20:07Speaker 1: and it's never enough. It's yes, he apologized again. You
- 20:12Speaker 1: got to stop it. People don't get people don't move on.
- 20:15Speaker 1: They won't allow you to move on and grow. So
- 20:18Speaker 1: you took a stand. Well, it's not it's not about
- 20:21Speaker 1: moving on in growth. It's about what you've already put
- 20:24Speaker 1: on display. You know why. Yeah, yeah, your actions are
- 20:27Speaker 1: already on display. There's a ten year gap. So once
- 20:30Speaker 1: you realize that, you you know what, I'm trying to
- 20:34Speaker 1: do the right thing by addressing it again and re
- 20:37Speaker 1: again and again and again, and then it's still not
- 20:40Speaker 1: being received. So I'm done. I'm done. It's just that
- 20:43Speaker 1: as you just understanding you, I understand me, and understanding me.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I know when I've done all that I can do,
- 20:50Speaker 1: so I'm done trying to do more? Does that? It's
- 20:54Speaker 1: the same thing, the same I was just I was,
- 21:03Speaker 1: I was done. I'm sorry. I've done all I can
- 21:07Speaker 1: do when I was done, and she still played child
- 21:09Speaker 1: support though I did that. And when we come up,
- 21:13Speaker 1: he said, what we're talking about? What you said? He said,
- 21:16Speaker 1: I'm so confused, talk about I'm so us Okay, um,
- 21:20Speaker 1: well back up on me when I get the mind
- 21:23Speaker 1: out here. When I get the mind, back up all me.
- 21:26Speaker 1: You don't ask me about my child pass. All right, listen,
- 21:31Speaker 1: we're coming back with the nephew. Okay. Everybody has an
- 21:34Speaker 1: attitude on the show apparently, but he's gonna run that prank.
- 21:37Speaker 1: B Kevin Hard is our special guest family member. We're
- 21:42Speaker 1: coming back right after this. You're listening show. Kevin Hard
- 21:48Speaker 1: in the building. He has our special guest today. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:52Speaker 1: what an attitude I'm here and then attitude just a
- 21:56Speaker 1: little aggressive that he's got to give you. He's going
- 21:59Speaker 1: in and out with it. Yeah, I know, I had
- 22:00Speaker 1: a dude, I'm all right, you know I still love
- 22:02Speaker 1: the lord Y. I ain't change you, see what I'm saying.
- 22:05Speaker 1: I'm so happy to hear that. Yeah, all right, Well
- 22:08Speaker 1: before we get into that, why don't you introduce the
- 22:10Speaker 1: nephew to run that? Frank Back, I will right now.
- 22:13Speaker 1: My favorite, my nephew Tommy, not really my nephew, but
- 22:17Speaker 1: his name is nephew Tommy. And I was trying to

- 27:37Speaker 1: I ain't obligated to do but driving truck like I
- 27:40Speaker 1: do everything day, I'm not going You can't tell me
- 27:43Speaker 1: about being obligated. Let me tell you what I'm obligated
- 27:46Speaker 1: to you. I'm obligated that Thad isn't the truck. I'm
- 27:49Speaker 1: fourth year, and try right to your human resources window
- 27:53Speaker 1: because I ain't going to South Africa. And I keep
- 27:56Speaker 1: telling you that I told you that since you got
- 27:58Speaker 1: on the damn phone, I ain't going go with okay,
- 28:02Speaker 1: uh but but but but let me ask something, Frankly,
- 28:06Speaker 1: you've been here for what us for eight some years? Man,
- 28:08Speaker 1: you don't you don't want to continue your job here
- 28:10Speaker 1: with the company. I don't give a about this job
- 28:13Speaker 1: right now, trying to send me overseas like you're setting
- 28:15Speaker 1: me up from them. I ain't gonna out of fact.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Let me turn this truck on right now. I'm coming
- 28:20Speaker 1: down and see you. Mister Roses o't okay? Hold on,
- 28:24Speaker 1: h do you know um? Jermaine? Yeah? I know, Rivers?
- 28:29Speaker 1: But what do you gotta do with it? Okay, let
- 28:32Speaker 1: me go. Don't say this, Franklin. This right here that
- 28:35Speaker 1: you're talking to is nephew Tommy and your boy Rivers
- 28:39Speaker 1: got me the planking phone call you. You just got
- 28:42Speaker 1: pranked by your boy, Jermaine Rivers. Oh that wait till
- 28:50Speaker 1: I see River. So you ain't no Roses go and
- 28:52Speaker 1: I ain't got to go to South Africa. No got man, nothing, man,
- 29:03Speaker 1: I just listening on the roads. You want to play
- 29:07Speaker 1: it with us? Want to put some sugar trunk? All right,
- 29:14Speaker 1: Franklin before we leave, man, tell me this, what is
- 29:16Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land? Does Steve Harvey
- 29:21Speaker 1: Morning Show? Was that stupid enough? Yeah? Know what I'm saying?
- 29:31Speaker 1: It was enough? You know what I'm saying. Sometimes you
- 29:32Speaker 1: gott approach stupid in a different kind of way. You know,
- 29:35Speaker 1: you sneak up on stupid and you let it out.
- 29:37Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. You gotta sneak up on
- 29:39Speaker 1: it and adn't hit it. That's how I do. You're
- 29:40Speaker 1: still signing a little aggressive as well, because I have
- 29:43Speaker 1: a good prank that I just ran. Okay, I don't know.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I guess something that comedians having. It's contagious. He gave
- 29:51Speaker 1: it to me. I got it from there. It's a
- 29:52Speaker 1: tough time for games right now. Time a minute, Junior.
- 29:55Speaker 1: You got out of here. Yeah, coming out the hours here,
- 30:02Speaker 1: Kevin Hart is gonna talk about his brand new movie
- 30:05Speaker 1: The Upside right after this. You're listening to show Kevin Hart.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Our special guests are very aggressive special guests this morning,
- 30:17Speaker 1: and it's contagious in the building this morning. But it's okay, Kevin.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Just to clear up a couple of things, Are you
- 30:23Speaker 1: apologizing anymore? What I take you? Poppy? Poppy? Right now? Pop,
- 30:33Speaker 1: I get a bald up magazine and get you do
- 30:35Speaker 1: right before here? What I say didn't? I say? I
- 30:38Speaker 1: was done with it? Okay. Just to clear all of
- 30:41Speaker 1: it up. Are you hosting the Oscar? What I say
- 30:46Speaker 1: to you? I get to switch. Seriously though an entertainment news, Kevin,
- 30:54Speaker 1: your movie The Upside is in theaters right now. This
- 30:57Speaker 1: is inspired by a true story, right sure? Is tell
- 31:00Speaker 1: us about the character Dell. So it's a story about
- 31:03Speaker 1: a quadriplegic Mayle who is very successful, very rich, very
- 31:09Speaker 1: well off, but suffered his injury doing what he loved
- 31:12Speaker 1: and after suffering an injury kind of going into depressed
- 31:15Speaker 1: state and being in a depressed state, I come across
- 31:18Speaker 1: my character is called Dell, and I accidentally apply for
- 31:21Speaker 1: a job that I had no idea was available. And
- 31:24Speaker 1: because I'm not what other people work and I'm not
- 31:27Speaker 1: kissing and sucking up to him the way these other
- 31:29Speaker 1: people were because of who he was in his status,
- 31:31Speaker 1: he takes a liking to me and offers me the
- 31:34Speaker 1: position of being his caretaker, and doing that, we both
- 31:39Speaker 1: get educated on each other's lives and backgrounds. We both
- 31:43Speaker 1: had a false I guess you said. We both had
- 31:45Speaker 1: a false presentation of what we thought the other person
- 31:48Speaker 1: was based off of stereotypes and based off of, you know,
- 31:53Speaker 1: knowledge that may or may not have been true. But
- 31:55Speaker 1: after we got to know one another, we really learned
- 31:58Speaker 1: about one another and learning the respect level grew and
- 32:01Speaker 1: we basically found a way to enlighten and motivate each
- 32:05Speaker 1: other and give each other a reason to look at
- 32:08Speaker 1: the upside of life. And he finds out in me,
- 32:10Speaker 1: I find that in him. But it's a it's a
- 32:12Speaker 1: dope love story between two guys that builds his friendship
- 32:15Speaker 1: that they didn't see coming. And I think it's something
- 32:17Speaker 1: that's needed today. You know, we're quick to judge, we're
- 32:20Speaker 1: quick to assume without really having an understanding of who
- 32:24Speaker 1: people really are. And in the times today, I think
- 32:26Speaker 1: that if we learn more about the people and we understand,
- 32:30Speaker 1: then we may be a little more patient and tolerant
- 32:32Speaker 1: with how people can grow and evolve. Because that's what
- 32:34Speaker 1: these two guys were in this film. And you see
- 32:36Speaker 1: what the bonus was. The bonus was an amazing friendship
- 32:40Speaker 1: that's now a lifelong thing. This is a real story.
- 32:43Speaker 1: These guys are real friends, and I love how it happened.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I love the story that's told, especially for my guy
- 32:50Speaker 1: being an ex convict and feeling like he can't get
- 32:52Speaker 1: another shot because the system won't allow him to get
- 32:55Speaker 1: high his past. Phil, who's played by Brian Caranton, he
- 32:59Speaker 1: made me understand that I shouldn't worry about the excuses
- 33:03Speaker 1: and just worry about the change. It's dope. It's really
- 33:05Speaker 1: really good, man. I think people are gonna love it.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I mean, already the reviews are coming in and the
- 33:09Speaker 1: people that are going to go see the movie are
- 33:10Speaker 1: just raping about it. So it looks like some of
- 33:12Speaker 1: your best work yet. Serious first, serious, yea, the first
- 33:16Speaker 1: time that I'm taking this approach, and you know, I
- 33:18Speaker 1: wanted to make sure that the project was right that
- 33:20Speaker 1: I decided to give this opportunity too, and it is.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I think my audience is going to like the fact
- 33:25Speaker 1: that I'm baby stepping in this direction. Yeah, and it's uh,
- 33:28Speaker 1: it's it's just me showing the other side of talent.
- 33:30Speaker 1: And there's going to be more to come after. So
- 33:34Speaker 1: it's really men bond differently than women. I mean, women
- 33:39Speaker 1: can me bond quicker. You know, we can bond over
- 33:42Speaker 1: a bag or a pair of shoes. We got we
- 33:44Speaker 1: gotta go through something men a little bit, all right, Kevin,
- 33:47Speaker 1: I'm like, we're not hosting the Oscar, but we might
- 33:49Speaker 1: be up for what the irony and that would be
- 33:56Speaker 1: so oh my god. That's all right, Kevin. Time for
- 34:03Speaker 1: today's headlines. Please introduce mss and for us, oh today's headlines.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Of course, we're talking to him, miss Anne, who I
- 34:10Speaker 1: love unlike everybody else. Okay, good morning, everybody. This is
- 34:17Speaker 1: entered with the news. Well, President Trump was in Texas
- 34:20Speaker 1: and then San Diego, California yesterday to rev up support
- 34:24Speaker 1: for his five and a half billion dollars border wall.
- 34:26Speaker 1: The chief Boarder patrol agent out there says he supports
- 34:29Speaker 1: the building of new walls even though the illegal human
- 34:31Speaker 1: traffic has been greatly reduced with the wall already there.
- 34:35Speaker 1: So they say, well, why would you need the next wall. Well,
- 34:37Speaker 1: Agent Rodney Scott says that now he'd like to see
- 34:39Speaker 1: new walls further into Mexico so that his agents don't
- 34:42Speaker 1: have to chase people through dangerously rugged ravines. Meanwhile, though
- 34:47Speaker 1: some other working Americans wanted to be heard, federal work
- 34:49Speaker 1: is affected by the partial government shot down. Held a
- 34:52Speaker 1: rally yesterday in Washington. We have mortgage and rent to pay.
- 35:00Speaker 1: We have student laws to pay, we have daycare costs
- 35:03Speaker 1: to pay, we have car bills to pay. We have
- 35:06Speaker 1: all of our bills to pay, and we need our
- 35:09Speaker 1: paycheck now. By the way, today's day twenty one of
- 35:12Speaker 1: the partial governments shut down, the day that some eight
- 35:14Speaker 1: hundred thousand federal workers will miss their first paychecks. Many
- 35:18Speaker 1: have been furloughed, of course, without half of them are
- 35:20Speaker 1: still working for deferred Hey. The group made it clear
- 35:24Speaker 1: yesterday they blamed the President, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell,
- 35:28Speaker 1: and other Republicans for refusing to consider legislation that would
- 35:31Speaker 1: reopen the government while allowing lawmakers time to work out
- 35:34Speaker 1: a deal on Board of Security. The demonstrates accused of
- 35:37Speaker 1: GOP lawmakers of quote blackmailing American people by refusing to
- 35:41Speaker 1: reopen the government. House Republicans, meanwhile, though, are criticizing one
- 35:45Speaker 1: of their own. Some GOOP lawmakers the calling Representative Steve
- 35:49Speaker 1: King of Iowa a racist after he was quoted in
- 35:52Speaker 1: The New York Times saying, quote white nationalist, white supremacist
- 35:57Speaker 1: Western civilization. How did that language become? I'm offensive? Well,
- 36:01Speaker 1: Wyoming Congress from Liz Cheney calls King's remarks abhorrent and racist.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Another Republican, Justice Amosh of Michigan, describes Congress from King's
- 36:09Speaker 1: remarks quote an embrace of racism and evil ideology. A
- 36:14Speaker 1: twenty four year old Houston man charged with fatal shooting
- 36:16Speaker 1: of a seven year old late young lady named Jasmine
- 36:19Speaker 1: Barnes as she wrote in the family car with her
- 36:21Speaker 1: mom and sisters, says he can't get a fair trial
- 36:23Speaker 1: in the city, and he's asking for a change of
- 36:25Speaker 1: venue for his upcoming trial. Larry Woodruff Is his name,
- 36:28Speaker 1: is charged with capital murder in a case it was
- 36:30Speaker 1: originally thought to have been a brutal racist killing because
- 36:32Speaker 1: when the kids in the car looked up, they saw
- 36:34Speaker 1: a white man in a red truck, so that's who
- 36:36Speaker 1: they thought had been doing the shooting. Apparently he was
- 36:38Speaker 1: a bystander. Both suspects, by the way, in this case,
- 36:41Speaker 1: our Black Houston comps say the suspects actually shot into
- 36:44Speaker 1: Jasmine's mom's car by mistake, hoping to shoot somebody else.
- 36:48Speaker 1: The other suspect is identified by the way as Eric
- 36:50Speaker 1: Black Junior. The Recording Academy of America and music mogul
- 36:54Speaker 1: Clive Davis to put on a special concert and Tyler Loretha,
- 36:57Speaker 1: a Grammy celebration for the Queen of Soul takes place
- 37:00Speaker 1: this Sunday in Los Angeles and to be broadcast later
- 37:02Speaker 1: on this year. And you may not have known his
- 37:04Speaker 1: real name, but Carlos Sanchez, you act who played Juan
- 37:07Speaker 1: Valdez and all those Colombian coffee commercials, has died at
- 37:10Speaker 1: age eighty three Monday, which reminds me coffee. Now back
- 37:16Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show, all right, Kevin.
- 37:22Speaker 1: I know you've probably been watching the news a lot
- 37:25Speaker 1: of people, you know, about the government shutdown. Eight hundred
- 37:28Speaker 1: thousand federal workers will not get their paychecks today, which
- 37:32Speaker 1: is sad, sad news. And negotiations about the government shutdown
- 37:35Speaker 1: between the Democrats and the President and the Republicans have stalled.
- 37:40Speaker 1: The President went to the southern border yesterday and he
- 37:43Speaker 1: is ready to declare a state of emergency to get
- 37:46Speaker 1: his wall built. Now, do you guys remember when the
- 37:49Speaker 1: President said that Mexico would pay for the wall. Yeah,
- 37:51Speaker 1: we'll all remember it when he was on campaign trail. Well,
- 37:55Speaker 1: now the President is saying this. Take a listen. One
- 37:58Speaker 1: of the things that really is happening is when I
- 38:02Speaker 1: say Mexico is going to pay for the wall. That's
- 38:04Speaker 1: what I said, Mexico is going to pay. I didn't
- 38:06Speaker 1: say they're gonna write me a check for twenty billion
- 38:08Speaker 1: or ten billion, told you're gonna write a check. They
- 38:10Speaker 1: said they're gonna pay for the wall. And if Congress
- 38:13Speaker 1: approves this incredible trade bill that we made with Mexico
- 38:16Speaker 1: and Canada, by the way, but with Mexico in this case,
- 38:19Speaker 1: they're paying for the wall many many times over. Really
- 38:23Speaker 1: talk about backpeddling, would he see it? No, pay means
- 38:27Speaker 1: writing a check or some cash or something like that.
- 38:29Speaker 1: That's what pay usually means. But when he was campaigning,
- 38:32Speaker 1: when the president was campaigning on his website, there is
- 38:35Speaker 1: a memo when he was campaigning, and the verbage in
- 38:38Speaker 1: the memo said that Mexico will write or they will
- 38:44Speaker 1: pay one time payment for the wall to ten billion. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:49Speaker 1: So what's that at one time paid? Yea And the
- 38:51Speaker 1: verbage from the president of Mexico, what was that? You
- 38:54Speaker 1: can't even say it? Say everything that you're absolutely right?
- 38:59Speaker 1: He said, you're absolutely right. So I mean, come on,
- 39:03Speaker 1: come on, who who are you kidding with this? And
- 39:05Speaker 1: how do you think gonna build this wall? What do
- 39:09Speaker 1: you mean? Ain't it ain't he ain't been in Texas,
- 39:12Speaker 1: It ain't nothing. No, hems ain't being because Mexico is
- 39:18Speaker 1: down there right on the ball. So if Texas builds
- 39:22Speaker 1: the wall, Mexican is gonna have to build. Can you
- 39:24Speaker 1: bleed the water they're gonna be if they got the building.
- 39:26Speaker 1: I think they ain't got no tunnel to get in.
- 39:28Speaker 1: And if you building wall, they're gonna build the wall.
- 39:31Speaker 1: They're gonna have all kinds. It's gonna be nice down there.
- 39:34Speaker 1: They're gonna have restaurants. It's gonna be shopping. It could
- 39:37Speaker 1: be a Gucci store. It's a river wall. You have
- 39:41Speaker 1: a river wall down there, that wall, Kevin, you perform
- 39:43Speaker 1: it down there at the corner wall area. Kevin Hart
- 39:47Speaker 1: coming to the wall show. I'm looking the first show.
- 39:54Speaker 1: You should Kevin, what you're doing? Oh man, y'all know
- 39:58Speaker 1: I'm down here the wall Warman, check me out. Don't
- 40:05Speaker 1: tell I mean you can't find no work because they
- 40:07Speaker 1: had at the wall. Black people ain't building the wall.
- 40:11Speaker 1: You're not alone that wall. Take it. It'd be twenty
- 40:16Speaker 1: twenty two week got three bricks, hard out of here.
- 40:21Speaker 1: It's too hot today. My hair? What I gotta go buy?
- 40:27Speaker 1: My mama has kay Weekend coming up in thirty four
- 40:34Speaker 1: after the hour, we're gonna have more with our special
- 40:36Speaker 1: guest and family member We love him, starve the new
- 40:39Speaker 1: movie The Upside, which is out now. Kevin Hart. You're
- 40:43Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, Kevin Hart, our special guest
- 40:49Speaker 1: this morning We're so happy to have you. Kevin. Yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 1: Kevin has addressed all of the Oscar drama. He did
- 40:55Speaker 1: that earlier on the show, so everyone can hear it
- 40:58Speaker 1: from Kevin. His out. So, Kevin, what do you want
- 41:01Speaker 1: to say about the oscars? I just wanna say, I'm over.
- 41:04Speaker 1: I got it. Don't ask me nothing, Okay, answer the questions,
- 41:13Speaker 1: don't ask me about. Don't nobody ask me nothing else about.
- 41:17Speaker 1: You can be here all morning, so can we. I'm
- 41:19Speaker 1: gonna be here all morning, and I'm full of these answers.
- 41:22Speaker 1: I'm over, Okay, I gotta. I got a backpocket full
- 41:25Speaker 1: of I'm over. So ask me nothing about Ken. Actually,
- 41:29Speaker 1: just replay the Michael Strahan interview that you did, because yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 1: I'm over. My credit card you can charge it too,
- 41:38Speaker 1: I'm over. I got credit cards all over the place
- 41:45Speaker 1: to say that. All right, here's something, here's something we
- 41:48Speaker 1: can't ask you about. The upside. Yes, yes she can. Uh.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Like I said, guys in theaters excited today. Like I
- 41:55Speaker 1: told you, this movie is dropping. This is, as I believe,
- 41:59Speaker 1: the biggest movie of my career to date. This is
- 42:02Speaker 1: by far my best performance in a movie. And I
- 42:06Speaker 1: credit that to my amazing actor and actress co star
- 42:10Speaker 1: Brian Cranton, the Coole Kidman, who were so gracious when
- 42:13Speaker 1: we were on set of just you know, setting me
- 42:15Speaker 1: up Man. I learned so much from watching them, watching
- 42:18Speaker 1: how they approached their day to day. Um, just just
- 42:22Speaker 1: from being true thesbians. So when you get to when
- 42:25Speaker 1: you get to get some of that and and take
- 42:27Speaker 1: that and put that in your pocket and use it
- 42:30Speaker 1: and apply it, you take advantage of it. And in
- 42:32Speaker 1: this movie, I really feel like I did, and I
- 42:34Speaker 1: think the audiences are going to be blown away, not
- 42:37Speaker 1: just by the movie but by the performance. So, like
- 42:39Speaker 1: I said, this is the first step that I'm taking
- 42:41Speaker 1: in it's more dramatic direction. What made you decide to
- 42:45Speaker 1: take a role like this, to take this on? Because
- 42:48Speaker 1: I feel like it's just time to show growth. You know,
- 42:50Speaker 1: I've been doing the comedy side for quite some time
- 42:53Speaker 1: and I've had a lot of success and I'm going
- 42:55Speaker 1: to continue to have more success over there. But I
- 42:58Speaker 1: want to I want to just continue to to expand
- 43:01Speaker 1: that resume. You know what I mean? Right now when
- 43:03Speaker 1: you look at it from action to action, comedy to
- 43:06Speaker 1: romances to buddy um ensembles, um animation. I'm really touching
- 43:15Speaker 1: all all aspects and this is what I've yet to do.
- 43:18Speaker 1: So now it's time for me just to find some
- 43:20Speaker 1: more roles that could be a little more challenging, a
- 43:23Speaker 1: little more serious, so I can say that I've done
- 43:25Speaker 1: it and just so I can be complete. I wanted
- 43:27Speaker 1: to go and being a complete circle when it's all
- 43:30Speaker 1: said and done, to say that that guy did it all.
- 43:32Speaker 1: He did everything. That's what I'm trying to do. Wow,
- 43:35Speaker 1: that's I think that's cool. How did you prepare for
- 43:37Speaker 1: the world though, Kevin? Well, you know, I'm a I'm
- 43:40Speaker 1: a talented cat. I don't like to really, you know,
- 43:42Speaker 1: I don't really like to throw that out there too much,
- 43:44Speaker 1: but I'm I'm I'm not. I just think it's time
- 43:50Speaker 1: to people know. Yeah, so let me let me what's
- 43:55Speaker 1: that sir? This is breaking. This is one of the
- 43:59Speaker 1: bad cats on the tube right now. Was there any
- 44:03Speaker 1: intimidation when it was time to get with this? There's no,
- 44:09Speaker 1: There's no intimidation. There's there's excitement. You know, when you
- 44:13Speaker 1: when you're working with people like this, you're excited because
- 44:15Speaker 1: you get to you get to go toe to toe
- 44:17Speaker 1: with them, you get to you get to Lacias shoes
- 44:20Speaker 1: up and approach your data same way and more importantly,
- 44:24Speaker 1: give it you all and learn, like you get to
- 44:26Speaker 1: watch from far and learn. That's what I was excited about.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Did you know them before or did you just know
- 44:31Speaker 1: their work? I knew Brian, I knew Brian, I had
- 44:34Speaker 1: met Nicole a couple of times, but I wasn't as
- 44:37Speaker 1: familiar with them then as I am now. Like I
- 44:39Speaker 1: can say that we're pairs, we're close, we're friends, and
- 44:43Speaker 1: I like the fact that they're good people. You know,
- 44:46Speaker 1: when we were in between takes, they didn't go to
- 44:49Speaker 1: the trailers and need to be by themselves. We stayed
- 44:52Speaker 1: on the set, we last, we joked around, we played,
- 44:54Speaker 1: and that's that to me, that's how good movies become
- 44:58Speaker 1: great because of that chemistry, because of that rapport, when
- 45:01Speaker 1: you guys are okay with being around one another for
- 45:04Speaker 1: long periods of time, and that we were. Yeah, the
- 45:07Speaker 1: movie is full of good, positive energy and we need it.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Go out, get up, get to the movies, go see
- 45:13Speaker 1: it and take some of this positivity and allow it
- 45:16Speaker 1: to rub off on you so you can then rub
- 45:18Speaker 1: it off on other people. That's what our world needs
- 45:20Speaker 1: right now, positivity not negativity. Go get some And did
- 45:25Speaker 1: you want to say anything you wanted to say anything
- 45:27Speaker 1: about the Oscars show? Yeah, I want you to go
- 45:30Speaker 1: to ww dot. I'm over it and the break all
- 45:37Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to coming up at the
- 45:43Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after Kevin,
- 45:46Speaker 1: it is today's Strawberry Letters subject. I'm all gassed up
- 45:49Speaker 1: about losing weight. Oh yes, you're saying you got gas
- 45:53Speaker 1: from Okay, we're not close. I love you and everything,
- 46:02Speaker 1: but right, all right, right now, we got another prank
- 46:07Speaker 1: call when nephew Timmy always a good time man. I
- 46:10Speaker 1: love him. I know you guys do too. Enjoy this
- 46:13Speaker 1: right here, Kevin, this call. Cough control what I say?
- 46:16Speaker 1: I said, cough control. We can't about it. Cough No.
- 46:19Speaker 1: So this right here call, let me get me break
- 46:21Speaker 1: it down. What is your attitude about we we we understand, Kevin,
- 46:26Speaker 1: about I was supposed to host the Oldest Awards. I
- 46:30Speaker 1: didn't have some over there that's right behind Oscar, But
- 46:35Speaker 1: they brothers, don't worry about that right now and the
- 46:41Speaker 1: Oldest Coast everybody comes to you outright inspired this. I'm
- 46:48Speaker 1: just a little congestion and a little Kevin Hello, crely
- 46:55Speaker 1: being on our nerves. I don't think I've inspired this
- 46:59Speaker 1: prank phone called Heaven because you just been coughing. Okay, congested.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Congested is one thing word on the street. What you've
- 47:07Speaker 1: been doing. That's word on the street. We're about to
- 47:12Speaker 1: get you looked at that. I'm over at Kevin, I'm
- 47:15Speaker 1: over and I'm moving on here. It is called control. Hello. Hello,
- 47:22Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Carla. Please yeah, speak all right?
- 47:24Speaker 1: Call It's Herschel human Resources. Hi. How you doing. I'm good,
- 47:29Speaker 1: I'm good. How are you doing today? Not bad? Is it? Okay? Well?
- 47:34Speaker 1: I got a complaint that's been sent to us that
- 47:37Speaker 1: we want to try to address and see if we
- 47:39Speaker 1: can handle this in a in an orderly fashion. You've
- 47:41Speaker 1: been over in the Client services department for what last
- 47:45Speaker 1: three four years? Now? Almost five years? Okay, Um, we're
- 47:50Speaker 1: getting some complaints Carla about um you. I don't know
- 47:55Speaker 1: if you're sick, but you're you seem to be coughing
- 47:58Speaker 1: quite a bit, and there's people on that floor that
- 48:02Speaker 1: are starting to complain about it. Is. Do we need
- 48:05Speaker 1: to like give you some time off? Tell me what's
- 48:08Speaker 1: going on with you? Oh no, no, no, no, no,
- 48:10Speaker 1: there must be a mistake. I mean I had a
- 48:12Speaker 1: cold for a couple of days, that's it. Yeah, I can't.
- 48:17Speaker 1: I can't imagine. Have you had a extension cost that's
- 48:21Speaker 1: been going on longer than a week or two? Have
- 48:24Speaker 1: you been coughing a lot? I don't. I don't. I
- 48:27Speaker 1: don't count when I how many times I coughed? You know,
- 48:30Speaker 1: I don't. I don't really understand. Well, let me let me,
- 48:36Speaker 1: let me, let me tell you what we're gonna do,
- 48:37Speaker 1: because you know, you've been with us a long time,
- 48:39Speaker 1: and we understand that, you know, the weather has been bananas,
- 48:43Speaker 1: and you know, we want to make sure that everybody's accommodated. Now,
- 48:47Speaker 1: what we've come up with just to try to accommodate everybody.
- 48:51Speaker 1: We're gonna move you right now. I know you on
- 48:53Speaker 1: the fourth floor, So we're gonna move you to the
- 48:57Speaker 1: seventh floor in the next and the next couple of weeks,
- 48:59Speaker 1: where you know there's that's kind of where um, it's
- 49:03Speaker 1: kind of like an area where there's more coughing people
- 49:06Speaker 1: up there. No no, no, no, no, no, no, that
- 49:09Speaker 1: that won't be necessary. I'm I'm feeling much better. I've
- 49:12Speaker 1: been at the same spot the entire time I've been
- 49:15Speaker 1: with the company. I don't need to be moved to
- 49:17Speaker 1: the seventh floor. I don't need to be moved for
- 49:20Speaker 1: any health reasons. I'm doing fine, I'm good. You don't
- 49:23Speaker 1: have to worry about Hey. Hey, let's slow down a minute,
- 49:27Speaker 1: Carla um and I understand where you're coming from. I
- 49:31Speaker 1: know what. You don't want to be moved because you've
- 49:33Speaker 1: been there and you're probably comfortable where you are. But
- 49:36Speaker 1: they're asking that you wear one of the uh, you know,
- 49:39Speaker 1: surgical mask for two weeks until we get you up
- 49:42Speaker 1: to the to the next Wait, you got you? Guys
- 49:45Speaker 1: can't just move me? How are you gonna just move
- 49:48Speaker 1: me without asking me my side of the story. Well,
- 49:51Speaker 1: if you're coughing out of control, you know, you got you, Well,
- 49:54Speaker 1: listen to me, you got you know there's people and
- 49:58Speaker 1: I complaining about Well, it must be the people that
- 50:02Speaker 1: are actually right around you. I mean, I'm hearing she's
- 50:05Speaker 1: spreading germs. They think you have the flu that some
- 50:08Speaker 1: people are saying it's disgusting you keep coughing and coughing,
- 50:12Speaker 1: which was not That doesn't last for months like I'm good,
- 50:16Speaker 1: I'm all set. I had a little cold, but not
- 50:19Speaker 1: enough to be more than me. Okay, well, let me
- 50:22Speaker 1: tell you what it's doing. It's it's creating a real
- 50:26Speaker 1: hostile environment, is what it's doing. No one said anything
- 50:31Speaker 1: said maybe a god bless you once that when I sneeze.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I don't understand why when we take this human resources?
- 50:36Speaker 1: Are you saying you guys want me to wear a
- 50:38Speaker 1: mask as a tomorrow starting tomorrow, tomorrow, it'll be we'll
- 50:44Speaker 1: have that at your cubicle tomorrow. No, that's not. You
- 50:50Speaker 1: guys can't just have me wearing a mask the night before.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I've never said it's a. It's a it's a it's
- 50:56Speaker 1: a surgical man. You'll wear that for two weeks until
- 51:00Speaker 1: till I can get you upstairs to where that's the
- 51:02Speaker 1: coughing floor. We'll have you up there when people are
- 51:04Speaker 1: coughing and nobody's gonna be complaining about you. That doesn't
- 51:07Speaker 1: sound very hygienic to me. You're gonna pull it's not.
- 51:10Speaker 1: It's but it's not hygienic of what's going on on
- 51:13Speaker 1: your floor, your coffee, and the people are going plaining.
- 51:16Speaker 1: Let me tell you something right now. I'm gonna appeal
- 51:18Speaker 1: this decision. I'm not going to those seventh floor I'm
- 51:21Speaker 1: not wearing a mask. I feel good. If you guys
- 51:23Speaker 1: want some health records, I can provide that for you.
- 51:26Speaker 1: But hul ain't gonna have me moving an accent looking
- 51:28Speaker 1: crazy just because somebody says I don't like that. I cough.
- 51:31Speaker 1: We all cough in the winter. Okay, Carla, let's let's
- 51:34Speaker 1: let's let's slow down. Okay. I want to try to
- 51:37Speaker 1: help use me. I want to help me to slowdown,
- 51:39Speaker 1: but you're the one talking about moving me, making me
- 51:41Speaker 1: wear a mask on in the in the morning, like,
- 51:44Speaker 1: that's not right. No, okay, Carla, if you can't put
- 51:48Speaker 1: the mask on tomorrow, I'm gonna have to ask you
- 51:50Speaker 1: to not come in tomorrow. Now that decision is up
- 51:53Speaker 1: to you. No, that decisions not up to me, because
- 51:56Speaker 1: I want to appeal the decision for you. Who else
- 51:58Speaker 1: can I talk to? Because this, this is, this conversation
- 52:01Speaker 1: is not this. We'll have this meeting next week. I
- 52:04Speaker 1: will let you know when it is, but you can't
- 52:06Speaker 1: come in until we have the meeting at this point, right, Oh, so,
- 52:10Speaker 1: am I gonna get paid? Days off. You're not getting
- 52:13Speaker 1: to your days off. You can come out. I can't
- 52:15Speaker 1: talk to you anymore. You're not talking and not thinking
- 52:18Speaker 1: any stense. I can't talk to you, all right, you
- 52:21Speaker 1: canna piss me off. This is not right. None of
- 52:24Speaker 1: this sounds legal right now. I need to talk to
- 52:26Speaker 1: somebody else because because I can't right now. Do you
- 52:29Speaker 1: want to wear the surgical week, Well, that is the
- 52:33Speaker 1: way I'm going to allow you to work tomorrow. No,
- 52:36Speaker 1: I'm not wearing the mask. Stop talking to me about
- 52:38Speaker 1: a mask. I'm not sick. What I'll do tomorrow's I'm
- 52:41Speaker 1: gonna go talk with them boya and my doctor and
- 52:44Speaker 1: give y'all, give y'all something else to think about. Okay, Well,
- 52:47Speaker 1: here's what we'll do. I will schedule you of meeting
- 52:50Speaker 1: at eleven o'clock. It looks like we have something available

- 53:25Speaker 1: the one that's saying that you're calling all over the place.
- 53:27Speaker 1: You don't put your hand over your mouth. You hear you?
- 53:30Speaker 1: Who'd you say? Tommy? There's no Tommy on my floor.
- 53:34Speaker 1: You have the wrong person, Like, no, I don't. That's
- 53:37Speaker 1: not complaining about you. Tommy is a one that it's you.
- 53:43Speaker 1: That doesn't make any sense because there is no Tommy
- 53:46Speaker 1: on my floor. I don't even know it. Tommy, do
- 53:48Speaker 1: you know a nephew Tommy from Steve Harvey Morning Show?
- 53:52Speaker 1: Do you know him? Oh, Cala, you just got prank
- 54:00Speaker 1: by your co worker Deviato. Baby, Oh my god, I'm

- 55:24Speaker 1: I'm here, I'm locked in, and I'm over it. I'm
- 55:28Speaker 1: gonna try and get through this today. I've been struggling
- 55:31Speaker 1: all week. All right, let's go bugle up a hold
- 55:34Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you. It is the
- 55:35Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter, all right, submit your letter. We could be
- 55:38Speaker 1: reading yours live on the air, just like this one subject.
- 55:42Speaker 1: I'm all gassed up about losing weight. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 55:46Speaker 1: My husband and I have been married for a year now,
- 55:49Speaker 1: and since then we have both gained a considerable amount
- 55:52Speaker 1: of weight. I've gained at least forty pounds, which is
- 55:56Speaker 1: totally unacceptable for me. This extra weight has caused me
- 55:59Speaker 1: to have extreme self esteem issues, so I've changed my
- 56:04Speaker 1: eating habits. I go to the gym more, and I
- 56:06Speaker 1: started making an herbal supplement that my trainer recommended to
- 56:10Speaker 1: increase my stamina and burn fat. The supplement gives me
- 56:15Speaker 1: so much energy and I'm able to do way more
- 56:18Speaker 1: reps at the gym than ever before. I can also
- 56:21Speaker 1: see a few pounds dropping, so I need to keep
- 56:23Speaker 1: using them. But there's one big problem with the herbal
- 56:28Speaker 1: supplements dot dot dot. They give me gas, yes, really
- 56:36Speaker 1: bad gas, and it only comes at night when I'm asleep.
- 56:40Speaker 1: I got so bad the other night that my husband
- 56:43Speaker 1: jumped up out of the bed because it's scared. That's
- 56:47Speaker 1: bad right there. Of course, my husband complains about the
- 56:54Speaker 1: smells and finally gave me an ultimatum. He said that
- 56:57Speaker 1: if I don't stop taking the supplements, I will be
- 56:59Speaker 1: sleeping alone. He already started sleeping on the couch, and
- 57:03Speaker 1: I think that he is being utterly selfish. I cannot
- 57:05Speaker 1: control the gas if i'm sleep and I don't think
- 57:09Speaker 1: it's so bad that he can't deal with it a
- 57:11Speaker 1: little bit longer. I want to get this weight off,
- 57:13Speaker 1: but we are still newly weds, and I don't like
- 57:15Speaker 1: sleeping alone. Do you think my husband is being inconsiderate
- 57:19Speaker 1: or do you think I should stop taking the supplement?
- 57:22Speaker 1: I cannot stand sleeping without my husband next to me.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Please help? All right, all right, here's the thing. No,
- 57:28Speaker 1: your husband's not being inconsiderate. You have to stop taking
- 57:31Speaker 1: these supplements immediately. This is not sexy. You're a newly wed, okay,
- 57:36Speaker 1: you guys have just gotten married. You don't want to
- 57:39Speaker 1: run him out of the bedroom in the first year.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Come on, what are you doing? You gotta find something else.
- 57:45Speaker 1: You have to find something else. I'm sorry. And forty
- 57:48Speaker 1: pounds is a lot of weight to gain in a year.
- 57:50Speaker 1: So you got your health to consider. But keep eating properly,
- 57:54Speaker 1: keep going to the gym, keep doing all those things,
- 57:57Speaker 1: but stop taking those supplements that is gonna kill your marriage. Yeah,
- 58:03Speaker 1: you want to sleep with your husbands, that's what it's
- 58:04Speaker 1: all about, especially you know when you're a newly wed
- 58:07Speaker 1: and everything. This is not good. It's not sexy at all.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Stop it immediately. He can find something else. He said,
- 58:16Speaker 1: it scared him that it is not good, all right,
- 58:20Speaker 1: all right, so please take fresh literally yes, scared him. Yeah,
- 58:25Speaker 1: it's scared him building up when it came out. Slosh,
- 58:28Speaker 1: this is not good. You're gonna have to change some
- 58:31Speaker 1: things and start immediately with those supplements. Kevin, I'm the
- 58:35Speaker 1: eyes with you. I'm disgusted. I don't even really feel
- 58:42Speaker 1: like comment. This isn't good for my spirit. I'm in
- 58:47Speaker 1: a place where I'm trying to be positive and not
- 58:52Speaker 1: negative and dealing with a person that knows that they've
- 58:56Speaker 1: become a gassy bandit still that's that, it's okay with
- 59:00Speaker 1: it and asking for advice. What advice you need? Tell
- 59:04Speaker 1: me what? What? What are you looking for? We know
- 59:07Speaker 1: the issue here, You know the issue. Stop taking the
- 59:10Speaker 1: mess and get your nasty behind out the bed until
- 59:13Speaker 1: you figure it out. You're sitting here blowing this man
- 59:16Speaker 1: back loose and not the proper way. You're doing it
- 59:19Speaker 1: the proper way. She's doing what cast blowing this back
- 59:22Speaker 1: to loose you, busting out the band though all through
- 59:27Speaker 1: the night. Let me tell you something, this moment in
- 59:29Speaker 1: the middle of night where you may get cold, and
- 59:31Speaker 1: your first thing that you do is take the covers,
- 59:34Speaker 1: throw the covers over your head. If you're dealing with
- 59:36Speaker 1: old Pooh b Patty and pooh but Patty but doing
- 59:39Speaker 1: what she wants, that's a that's a difficult situation for
- 59:41Speaker 1: everybody in that household, man, because I can't even be
- 59:44Speaker 1: comfortable in the bed. This is this is this is
- 59:46Speaker 1: divorce like material, this is this is it. It's time
- 59:51Speaker 1: for you to move on you if if, if this
- 59:54Speaker 1: is what it takes for you to lose weight, then
- 59:57Speaker 1: maybe I need to accept the new you. Maybe I
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: need to accept the new Hello. If this is what
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: you are going to do and the process of getting
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: to a place that you feel you want to be
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: health wise, maybe maybe it ain't about being healthy for us.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Maybe maybe maybe we should be on that other road
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: and just enjoy that. But this isn't fair, This is
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: not this is not looking at your partner and understanding
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: your partner's feelings. Ain't no where in Hell, ain't no
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: where in Hello. I would deal with it. I don't
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: know about Joe. I don't know anyone who would deal
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: with this. And I mean her attitude about it. Her
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: attitude is like he's being inconsiderate. No, you're being inconsiderate.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Nobody wants to deal with this, No one. It's just
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: not cute assistent. You're talking about consistently busting your head.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Let me tell you, you're talking about back to backs.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: You're not talking about one offs. You're not talking about
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: a oops and laugh. You're talking about repetitive behavior. This
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: is this is I get mad at Zoe when Zoe,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: when Zoe get the fire and off the baby, my baby.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I get mad at the baby. But I thought, that's
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: why I'm telling you how man I would be in
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: an adult if they were doing the same thing this
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: baby baby. I told him the other day, I said,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: maybe it's time for you to change these foods. You
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: don't give him this, this organic mess. Maybe that's not
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: for you. Maybe maybe I got to throw this other
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: stuff in your system to your little stomach to handle
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: it better. Because this ain't right. Yeah, this ain't right.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: This is how you talk to your busy on. My
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: son smelled like a grown man. Is he talking now, Kevin.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: They say he's saying a couple of things, some stuff together.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: What he can't say is stink. I can't say that.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: What he can't say it stink. I can say that.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: That's stink. Stink. Son, you go, you go, And that
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: other one. The baby can walk. He's number one, that's right,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: number one, walking all over the house. Just let me go.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: But what are these what are in these supplements? What's
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: in here? I don't want crazy, I don't care, I
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: don't ye be. You gotta get this, and you gotta
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: hit this in your sleep, so you don't hit it
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: because she's asleep, Like she said, she doesn't think he's
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: being fair because she doesn't know and she's asleep. But
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: if that blow a man out, to be up. But
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: it didn't only blow him out, it scared him. Shooting.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Get ye, get the pistonl what the piston comes? You
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: know when you hear a shotgun? They outside, all right, listen,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: we're gonna have virtue of our response to the strawberry letter.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: We gotta hear from Junior, We got to hear from
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: the nephew of the subject I'm all gas stop about
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: losing weight. We'll be back at twenty three after the
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: hour right after this, you're listening Steve Harpy Show, Kevin
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Nephew Junior. Let's recap today's strawberry letter. Here we go,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: subject I'm all gassed up about losing weight. A woman
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: wrote this letter. She and her husband have been married
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: for about a year now, so they're newlyweds. And you know,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: during that time, that blissful time you know, you're eating,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: your chilling, you're loving, you might gain a few pounds.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: In her case, she's gained forty pounds. It's unacceptable to her,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: she says, so um. She you know, she has self
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: esteem issues now, so she wants to get the weight off.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: She's gotten a trainer, she goes to the gym. She's
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: changed her eating habits, and she started taking this herbal
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: supplement that she got from her trainer, and she says
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: it gives her more energy. She can do more reps
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: in the gym and all that, and she's seeing the
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: pounds start coming off. But the problem is at night,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: when she's sleeping in bed with her husband, she has
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: terrible indigestion and gas and it's blowing him up. He's
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: he's scared. He doesn't want to sleep with her anymore,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: and he's given her an ultimatum. EI, either stop taking
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: the supplement or you sleep by yourself. She doesn't want
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: to sleep by herself. She's a little upset with her husband.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: She thinks he's being inconsiderate. She doesn't like the fact
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: that he gave her an ultimatum. She wants to know
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: what should she do because she can't stand sleeping without
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: her husband. All right, we heard from me, we heard
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: from Kevin. I think we're both on the same page
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: with this. This isn't sexy. Stop taking the supplements. I mean,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: this is an easy fix, I think. All right, Junior,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: what's your guy? I'm rich. I see something different here.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I don't believe it's the supplement. Oh, because I take
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: herbal supple too. I've never done this. Okay, one year
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: equals forty pounds. That means what have y'all been eating?
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Because one is the problem? Yea, quause what do you happen?
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: I'll tell you what it is. It's that the herbal
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: suff you know what it is? Them turkey next, she's
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: been fired. Yeah, y'all have been gathering. You're gathering forty
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: pounds in a year. More people don't twenty in a year.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Forty y'all been doing some meat. It's just ham hockey.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: But eat that hamhock. You had one of them that
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: won't feel you gotta gash yep, okay, hark head cheese.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: You ever headed that? This year? They eating this that
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: David gass pig feet, give you gass. She's even wrong. Yeah,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: all of that, give you gass. It's not a herbal supplement. Okay, cat,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: you take herb uh No, I don't. What you're looking
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: at is a natural gift from guy you heard he
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: runs with heart it is. I don't know. I don't
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: take stuff. I don't know. I just never I never
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: went down that path, not to knock anybody that does.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: I just believe that you can do it. You know,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: you can do it without. But I know that some
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: people just wanted to use it as added motivation. But
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I don't. I don't do it. And I like to
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: be able to control my gas, like that's the bottom line. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I like to know when it's coming and actually be
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: able to hold it. Every One, you know, let me
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: go and stand in this corner and get rid of
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: this and then come back in the bed, or let me,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: let me baby, I'll be right back. I'm gonna get
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: some water from the floe. I don't I don't like
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: the fact that this woman has no control over what's happening. Yeah,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: this is that's a different situation for me. And she's
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: mad at her husband about it though, calling him and
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: considerate my nephew, what you got. I think we're missing something.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: He always says that said it was the food. Yeah,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: but I don't think we're looking at the I hate
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: to say that. The upside, the last side, you know,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: you know, let's profit off this gas, says. You understand
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: what I'm saying. What let's profit off this gas? You
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: don't know how many people that work for BP that
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: are listening right now that could would like to get
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: this gas X on Texico Day. All these people can
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: utilize this gas from that. Yes, you can do that. Now,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna be out the environment thing. Yes. Yes,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Why do you know when you when you're blowing up
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: like that, you can actually fuel a plane. You can
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: fuel a plane. You can get somebody from La the Atlanta.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: One way you could do that. You known cost it
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: for plane gas? Do you know that this is plane gas?
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: This woman, guy, god, this is plane game. You can

- 1:07:34Speaker 1: ain't realize. Now. Later, I'm gonna be honest with you.

- 1:07:57Speaker 1: put that peptoe in there with that thing said, all
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: that lightens that gaze. You understand me. You got to
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: do this the right way. Be no bean, no work,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: take a beano, and there'll be no gass, be no game.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: All right now, you back to But if I'm your husband,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: I'm telling you I rather have a fat no gassy

- 1:10:23Speaker 1: more serious version of myself than you guys have ever seen.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Trust me when I tell you you're gonna like it.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: You're going to be shocked after you see the levels
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: that I'm able to get to, uh in this acting game.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: More importantly, you're gonna love the message. Man. Walk away
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: from this movie with the good feeling. The feeling, that
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: good positive feeling. Man, that's what I like. I like
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: the fact that this is a movie with a purpose
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: as a movie with an amazing story, a true story,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: and one that people can relate and just gravitate too.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: So make sure you go see it today. It's in
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: theaters today. Get up, get out and go, go, go, go, go,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: go and go see the Let's make it number one,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: that's what I want to see. Yeah, let's make this
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: number one. Come on, we can do it. We can
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: do it, all right, Kevin. So you're here, so it's
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: time to have some real fun with you. Okay. I
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: know we started off your little aggressive and all that,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: but yeah, you're aggressive. You're aggressive right now. Aggressive and nothing.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: But it's like you're anticipating us to say, you to
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: tell me what this is? May you? This is Mayweather aggressive?
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Who are you? Who are you to tell me what
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I am? But you you ain't been with me all morning?
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Have you did? You? Were you with me in the car?
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: You don't know what I am? Kevin, We've been with
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: you pretty much all morning. Who are you? Who do
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: you think you are? That's my question? But he think
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: you want to ask him something about it? You're trying
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: to ask you ask me might and we might. All right,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: it's time for rapid fire questions. We're gonna play that
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: with Kevin. Tell me you go first. I'm gonna jump
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: it off. I don't jump it off all I can't
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: hit it. If you could be an animal, what would
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: it be? And why? If I could be animal would
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: have been? Why? Uh? It'll probably be a ferret, just
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: because I think farret got cool teeth. Ferret. I want
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: to be a ferret like that. When I eat steak
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: sometimes it takes me a long time. Ferret, if you
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: get through that steak fast, because because a fat amazing.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: So I'm I'm gonna go with a come on, Carla,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: next question, all right, Kevin, describe yourself in three words.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: In three words, uh, petite, um loving and charismatic loving, charismatic,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: petite loving, charismatic man. That's how it just for political office.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: All right? Come on, Junior, what you got? All right?
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: All right, Keith, If you were stranded on the tropical island,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: what two things would you want with you? This is
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: an easy one. My whoopee cushion that makes me laugh.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: I don't know why whoopee cushions are for ever funny um,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: you know. And I feel like if you buy yourself,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: the one thing that you don't want to lose is
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: your humor. So a good whoope cushion joke is gonna
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: come in handy. And the other thing that I would
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: have to take would be, um, a frisbee, because if
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: you buy yourself, you have to play games. That's gonna
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: keep you busy. You could you could keep throwing it
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: and going to the other side of catching it and
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: talking to yourself on the other side, like you better
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: get this one. It's gonna be a good throw you
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: know this, and just I just feel like that. Yeah,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: your answers are way too long. That's how they're vetted out.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Who are you to tell interview? Tell me, tell me,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: tell me who you are? Why? Why? Why? Folk? Can't
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: my answers be why? Come on? Bore? And they're crazy?
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Mister ferret Man. All right, Kevin, here's the one. What's
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: the first thing you do when you get up in
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: the morning. Oh, oh, that's easy. I take a warm
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: towel and put it on my toilet seat. Yeah. I
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: like to basically warm the toilet seats up, uh, differently
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: than what technology does. Warm towel gives you a more
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: comfort sit So that's the first thing I do. Why
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: wouldn't you buy a heat it tarlet because you got money?
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Who are you to tell me? Who? You tell me?
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: How should be spending my money? I don't know my budget.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: You don't know I don't know where my monthly breakdowns are.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: You don't know the expenses that go into I had.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I had seven of those electric toilets that go up
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: and down all night, and you know what they do.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: They do it all night, be in the middle of
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: the night, and the toilet just starts lifting up, and
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: you think somebody in the house. True story, true story.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: You think people in the house because they got a
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: mind of the own. I got rid of them. So
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: now we just put towels on the seat to tell
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: me about what I'm gonna do with my You got
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: another question, another question? Listen, now, don't you got the
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: seats because you got money? Do you know what I got?
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: I got? Tell me what they got. Here's the next question.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: What is the lowest grade you haven't ever been given?
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: And what class was it for? Boy, it wasn't a grade.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: It was a conversation of should I be in this
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: particular grade? Who grade they wanted to after test score
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: that I handed it in, they wanted to drop me
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: the whole level because they said, there's no way, there's
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: no way that I could have passed a year before.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: I cannot know the information that I got. A sad
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: part is I tried. I tried your best. They didn't
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: even like you know, when they handed they give one
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: person the test and they pass some back. They took
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: mine out the group and they called me. I'm saying,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: They said, Kevin, come out, come out in the hallway,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: and I was like why, They said, because who don't
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: want nobody else to see this? Score? All right, let's
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: go rapping fire. Here we go, Kevin, if you could
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: change one thing about your looks, what would it be?
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: I knew he was gonna say that. That's a great answer.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: I'm a dom Why would I change that? I thought
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: you didn't like your feet? Yeah, well no, don't you
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: know what you like? Tell y'all, I brought new feet.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Oh that's where the toilet seat money went. I dropped
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: seven million on some feet and granted they're not my
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: complexion lights. You understand the concept of rapping fire? What
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: are you talking about? That's my answer? And who are
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: you to tell me how I don't understand the concept
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: of a game. You don't know what I processed? And
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I kick you with this. Listen, Kevin Nartist here and
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Kevin is
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: gonna talk football. He's gonna talk about those Eagles on
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: how about those Eagles? Cav heye, he goes right after this,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: you're listening. Here we go, Kevin's here. We gotta talk football. Yeah,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: we have to talk from football west here, and we're
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: not playing NORMALTI now we're not playing you ever, not
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: playing keV Oh. I mean, listen. First of all, it
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: is unfortunate what happened, y'all. Hey, hey, even got to say. Well,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I want to let you guys know you're a good
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: program and your future is bright. Everybody can't fly like
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: an eagle. Here we go. What I'm saying is, understand
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: what you're witnessing. People. You're witnessing the story of underdogs
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: about to be repeated again. Yes, the Eagles, last yare
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: we won the Super Bowl by being an underdog. Okay,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: we weren't supposed to do what we did because we
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: had a backup quarterback, and we did it. And yet
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: this backup quarterback gets to put together a story that
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: has never been told before by being a backup and
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: coming in again and having to clean up the same
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: thing to be cleaned up the year before. This is
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: Nick Foles writing history for himself. This is Nick Foles
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: becoming a Hall of Famer. Trust me when I tell
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: you we will shock New Orleans. And when we do
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: I best believe we're getting to the super Bowl. You're
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: supposed to doubt it, Carlin, because you don't have a
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: team to watch, so that's what you have to do.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: But from New Orleans, you know you're listen. I'm not
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: going to doubt that the Saints are an amazing football
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: team and Drew brees is have an amazing football season.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: But what they are, they're not expect the Eagles to
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: come in with the mental that we are. We're on
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: to high, you're on the five game win street, you're
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: closing out the season strong, and you're closing it out
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: with Nick Foles feeling like he's getting a job done.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: Walking into another stadium with that feeling and that understanding
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: is what gets the job done. We are Philadelphia. We
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: do man expect you know you can stand up to
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: the occasion. Let me tell you this. Kevin Steve Harvey,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: your friend, your mentor. He's just happy that the Cleveland
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Browns won seven games, Okay, Bowl in his heart won.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: He don't know what to do with himself. He ran
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: what to do with himself. I saw him with a
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: with a Cleveland Browns jacket on, and I just didn't
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: even speak to him. You're just taking his way too far.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: But what we are going to embrace is how Philadelphia
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: is shining. If he shine bright like a diamond Philadelphia.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Hey gee, yes, he goes. Okay, there are going to
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: the game, to the game because I'm working. Okay, if
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: I could go to the game, I would. But guess
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: what I got. I got a movie coming out that's
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: spreading positivity. So while I'm spreading this positivity, I'm gonna
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: watch the football game and take some of that energy
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: and throw it over to the Eagles so they can
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: get the job done. And then I can take that
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: energy apply it back to my promo tour and get
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: other people to get inspired and go see my movie
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: and chair for my team at the same time when
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: when everybody's happening scene all right, he's back at his team.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: So this is going to be in the super Bowl though, Kay,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: who you got again? Part two? You think you're just
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: like the Chargers. Ain't gonna do nothing to them. You
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: already got the sweet. I already booked a sweet for
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: the Super Bowl in Atlanta. Yeah, I'm already gonna there.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I already said, guys, get my same suite. I already
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: called security to make sure that what happened last year
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: doesn't happen again, to go through the proper channels. And
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: I watch, I watch how much I drink so I
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: remember what to do TV. That was a great place.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Cussford though, I tell you that. But listen, when I
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: cussed on TV, I tell you I've never I literally
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: I know I'm small. I know I'm a small man.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I have never felt like a child in my life
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: until I saw myself on TV. Go oops and cover
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: my mouth like I got caught doing something bad by
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: my mom A right, right right. I turned around, put
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: my hands in the air, and I believe my friend
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: Wayne helped me down. Somebody helped me down off stands
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: by grabbing me under my arms. Sander's face. Get out
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: of here, Yeah, come on, get out of here, brother
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: get He just looked at me with disgust. Get out
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: of here, brother Jesus. Come on, come on, Kevin, he said,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: come on, Kevin, I said, you're gonna judge me, So
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: who are you to judge me? Dan? Are you all
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: of a sudden you missed the perfect miss the perfect man?
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: I start doing this shuft when I got down, I
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: think I did the Dion shuffle down here. Oh God,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna do the same thing this year. I promise
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: you we'll be back in the Super Bowl. Expect me
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: to be at the same place. Well, I'm rooting for you, Kevin.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: I'm not rooting for the Patriots. I'm telling you that man,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: I'm nah rooting for him. Make it to the super Bowl.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: Well okay, well, Junior, this this Saturday too. Oh you

- 1:22:59Speaker 1: take Indiana. Kent City uncloses, I'm gonna take any nap.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: What a day one of our engineers. He just throws
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: up cash. Yeah, well then he knows what I'm saying
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: is true. Start off well, but they don't close. Cowboys
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: are the Rams, Cowboys of the Rams. I'm going rams.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Rams aren't gonna make the same mistakes they made last year.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Rams will be the cowboys La Rams. And we know
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: you're gonna take the Patriots over the charge Patriots over
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: the charges on Eagles, over the Saints, and after that,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: the Patriots will then play the Eagles in Super Bowl.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: There you go shamp show what shampos It's like in

- 1:27:15Speaker 1: my god, that looks good. So I just picked their
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: brain for months about it. They could have an old
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: school what they want, and I got the information and
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: I went out. I found all the cards that they
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: talked about, and I made it look like we had
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: to go takee our radio show on the stages and
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: in the back lot, I had all the cars out
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: there with their names on them, and they, oh, my gosh,
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: it was good. No, it was good to see. It
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: was good to see them that happy. I think, you
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: know you can tell you can tell somebody's success by
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: the success of their team. Yeah. For me, I don't
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: want to go about myself. I want to share it
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: with those who helped me get to where I am.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: What y'all get, y'all got what y'all get damn thing.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: We don't know. Y'all got something. Y'all got something. Y'all
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: have been down. I know y'all got we got to
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: keep our jobs. Yeah, that this good employment. Y'all got
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: something more than that. I don't send me something. Every
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: year he sent me a Banksy. This year he sent
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: me a beautiful, beautiful painting. Uh, what do you mean
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: a Banksy? You guys don't know. Yeah, but gad, I
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: don't get the same thing. No, no, I didn't send
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: y'all the same thing. He sent me one saying no
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: me without you. Love forever. That's what I said at
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: about it, love forever. Yeah, I'm a screenshot. I'm you know,
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: take a picture of it, and said, y'all because I
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: thought we all had it, rub it in white. I
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: didn't do that. I started the group FaceTime the same thing.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Oh glad, I didn't do that. All right, We'll be
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and

- 1:29:18Speaker 1: is no such thing. It's not a good time with
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: you guys. Honestly, I literally love the fact that we
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: have the relationship and the report that we have. I
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: love coming here. I always have a voice, and uh,
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: you guys, you just you just make it comfortable, man,
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: That's what it's about. It's about it's about being comfortable.
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: I'm comfortable with you guys, and thank you, thank you
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: for that doesn't change the channel. That doesn't change the
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: fact that, uh, Carla and Junie, y'all got y'all gotta
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: pay for these tickets. I got to pay for the
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: tickets at the Toyota City in Houston tomorrow. We're still
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: gonna be cool and I'm still cool. And um, you
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: know the rest of you, Shirley, I know that you, nephew, Tommy,

- 1:30:20Speaker 1: all banksies in the fact that y'all don't have one

- 1:31:11Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna be putting confetti in my pocket at
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: that time because it's gonna be collector's items. You know,
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: I still got confetti from the last Super Bowl when
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: you tried to go up on you ain't got to
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: say what I do. I know I tried to do that.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: You ain't got to keep bringing over what's your issue? Okay,
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: what's your issue? Why you just keep bringing them old
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: stiff negative Nancy? Why don't you you know what you
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: need to do. You need to just stop it some tickets. Hey,
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: you know what you're Yeah, No, I really thought about it,
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: and I was like, why why would I do that? Yeah,

- 1:32:14Speaker 1: you're a very very gracious host. You don't can't tell
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: you about the time. I'll tell you about the time
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: Monica came back and uh stolely alcohol bottle. I tell
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: you what put him in her first. Yes, she had
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: one of the big purses. She walked out. We just
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: heard a bunch of clanking Monica. Monica, what's that nose too?
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: I brought these, I brought these wooden Sawnica. Well, Kevin,
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: you know she's from Mississippi and Jackson, Mississippi. We have
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: a station down there now, so you might want to
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: shout them out. Kick on Jackson, Mississippi, Come on now
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: in my doubles. I'm back on back. You know that,
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: I know Mississippi know me, and I know that. But
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: I got a new Chicken Raps. We'll be back to
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: close out the One and Only. Kevin Hart started the
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: new movie The Upside right after this. You're listening hard.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: Here we are, last break of the day. Man, This
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: morning went by too fast. Didn't go by fast? Yes, yes,
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: it always goes by fast when you have a good time.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: That's not right. That's it's called having a good time.
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: People have a good time in any and everything that
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: you do. Okay, don't don't don't don't not embrace the
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: opportunities to have a good time, have a good time.
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: Positivity over negativity. Everything else comes in third, fourth, and
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: fifth se I just did that and broke that down.
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: I'm thinking about becoming a motivational speaker. That's the next
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: goal to the summer. You know you can get you
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: get qualified over something. Yes, I'm already going to go
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: get my license. All you gotta do. You gotta just
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: do some stuff. When you get people to like do
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: cool stuff. Did you think that you can get him
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: to do this? It's easy, The test is easy, but
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it. I think we really become okay
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: because of what you just what's really deep? Motivate? Come on,
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: let's track in the morning. You wake up. You got
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: two choices. Put your feet on the ground or put
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: your back on the bed. One is productive, one is not.
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: My choice is making the right one. Come wown movie.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: It's called The Upside. It's out in theaters today. Go
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: ahead and get your tickets. Do it this morning while
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: you're listening. Please do what's happening to morning? Do it
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: this morning. If I jump all over you like a
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: spider monkey chick, I love that night. I'm I'm a
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: jacked up on mountain dew. You gonna let him talk
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: to me like that? Yeah? Yeah, you go right, I am.
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: He's a winner. That's right here, baby, Jesus, thank you
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: for whats y'all got a new checker at tell the

- 1:35:05Speaker 1: done seeing the movie, go get that new chicken rat
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: Chicken making number one. That is our goal for this weekend. Yeah,
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: granting the cold, kidming myself. The movie doesn't disappoint. Get up,
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: get out and go see it. Houston. I'll see you tomorrow,
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: Pencil Coola, Florida. I'll see a Sunday. Your responsible tour
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: will be in in in in the wraps. That's it, man,
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: it's okay. I think we have a couple more minutes
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: we can ask you. We can finish up our rap.
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: Are you gonna ask me? Wasn't that new chicken rat? No?
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: Crazy food? Here's one, Kevin. What's the last thing that
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: you liked on social media? Oh? I like that? That's sweet?
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: Ye Wait what you limited? What you feel like anything?
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: I don't like nothing else? Or on Instagram? I don't
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: see nothing else on Instagram. Okay, we got you, we
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: got you. Yeah? What keV? What is your best man,
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: your best childhood memory? What's what is that? My best
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: childhood memory? Oh? Man, let me think about it. My
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: best childhood memory, I would probably say, I probably say
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: my best childhood memory is, uh is when my dad
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: took me. He took me crabbing. We went crabbing, and
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: when he took me crabbing, he was like Hey, Kevi,
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: you don't know what you're doing, so let me teach
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: you how to do it. You know, he was taking
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: his time and try to really break down the process
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: to crabbing. So he's like, you take the bread. You
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: gotta put the bread in the cage. Then you dropped
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: the cage down and give it some time down this
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: so the crabs can settle in. He's like, tone, pick
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: it up for a long time. And I was like
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: all right, And I did it. I put the bread
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: in there and I dropped the cage down. I was like, Dad,
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: I want to pick it up. He's like, it ain't
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: time yet. I was like, na, let me pick it up, Dad,
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: I feel like it's time. He's like, Noah, it ain't
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: time yet. Left the crab settle in his son, and
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: I just picked it up. Anyway. It was like, thirty crabs,
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: ain't this about something? Ain't this about something? All this time,
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: I ain't caught ned crab about it. Haven't caught a
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: crab about it. That's my favorite childhood member. I love
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: with my dad and crabing. That's a true story. I
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: love it alight. Oh I okay, I got it down. Um,
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: I don't I don't like. I don't like I don't
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: like people to smack their food, punch you in the face,
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: you dead in your face. I don't like that. And
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: and I don't like it when women take like a
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: utensil or a pin for the end of a comb
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: and scratch their head. Man like meek Mill, he doesn't
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: like lace wigs. Well, that's understandable. I know what he's saying.
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: What is he saying? All right, I got one cab,
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: go ahead, all right? What chores do you hate doing?
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: What chores? What chores you said you talk about when
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: I was younger. You don't do chores now? You don't
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: take out the garbage. No, I'm not gonna sound like
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: a sound like a jerky if I say I don't.
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: I don't know what you're talking. What are what are that?
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Okay, so let's take it
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: back back in the day. What chores did you Hateeorge? Oh? Okay, okay,
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: all right, I got you now, all right, I'm on
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: the same page. I wasn't big with the whole dishes thing. Um,
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: I'm watching me. Yeah, I don't reason why because we
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: would leave a dish in the sink and that dish
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: might be that might have been there for like week,
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: because my mom didn't see it. She'll get mad. My
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: brother was notorious for leaving plates under his bed, like
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: trying to sneak food late at night, so then when
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: you finally got to it, it'd be hard catch up
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: with peanut butter and stuff. And who knows her was
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: on that plate. She'll make me clean because my brother
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: would always say it was me, so that can turn
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: me off against dishes. My brother was me my brother.
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: My brother made me pick up My brother made me
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: pick up a dead mouse one time in house. True story.
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: He said, pick it up for I punch you in
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: a favor. Come on, man, don't make me do this.
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: Don't make me do this, he said, do it, pick
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: it up, put it in the trash. Kevin, we just
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: have a few seconds left. We want to just say
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: thank you so much for we love to upside and
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: theaters today ain't gonna see it. Also for all Steve
