- 0:52Speaker 1: Excited to be here with you this morning. Thank you,
- 0:54Speaker 1: first of all, your articulate you got your hair right
- 0:56Speaker 1: all right now, this is Atlanta. You are entrepreneur. You
- 1:02Speaker 1: top dogs here. I like that. I like that, and
- 1:05Speaker 1: that's a compliment coming from you. Thank you so much.
- 1:08Speaker 1: First of all, thank you for coming to Let's talk
- 1:10Speaker 1: about this event that's coming up. Going to talk about
- 1:12Speaker 1: it twice because I really want to get the word out,
- 1:14Speaker 1: and they're gonna talk about you and just talk about
- 1:17Speaker 1: being an entrepreneur, being a female, being a female and
- 1:19Speaker 1: how you know it's really interesting being a female and today.
- 1:23Speaker 1: You know, when if you just flashed back twenty years ago,
- 1:26Speaker 1: you know, trying to do what you're trying to do today,
- 1:28Speaker 1: you had to ask for permission in a way, I'm
- 1:31Speaker 1: gonna say that, let's just say, because the social media
- 1:33Speaker 1: wasn't there, so let's permission you had. Maybe a radio
- 1:36Speaker 1: station might be permission there. Can you do mere favor
- 1:38Speaker 1: over here? Oh? Yes, social media hasn'tmpowered the female voice. Correct,
- 1:44Speaker 1: you're correct, And I'm gonna let you in on a
- 1:46Speaker 1: little secret. This is my eighth year. So when you
- 1:49Speaker 1: talk about no internet, no social media, that was me
- 1:53Speaker 1: when I started my first business, and so a lot
- 1:56Speaker 1: of that was knocking on doors, make phone calls, showing
- 2:01Speaker 1: up prepared right, doing like we say, what most people
- 2:05Speaker 1: won't do in order to be successful. What happened once
- 2:09Speaker 1: social media was introduced, I'll tell you how I really
- 2:13Speaker 1: feel about that. I think it's great. But I think
- 2:15Speaker 1: what people forget about having a website and having social
- 2:20Speaker 1: media is that you have the opportunity to promote yourself
- 2:24Speaker 1: around the world because they tend to only promote where
- 2:27Speaker 1: they are locally, right geographically to their area www. Worldwide.
- 2:32Speaker 1: You said it, and people forget that so much. There
- 2:36Speaker 1: is so much opportunity right at our fingertips that we
- 2:39Speaker 1: don't take advantage of. And that's because we've gotten a
- 2:42Speaker 1: little relaxed, right, Um, Technology is somewhat dumbed us down right. Okay,
- 2:49Speaker 1: I remember when I first started my businesses All my
- 2:53Speaker 1: numbers are right here and he come right, I didn't
- 2:56Speaker 1: have to look at my phone to remember a number,
- 2:59Speaker 1: that's saying. And that's the point. We don't try to
- 3:01Speaker 1: do things because we depend on technology so much. Now,
- 3:05Speaker 1: how that relates to entrepreneurship is we try to google everything.
- 3:10Speaker 1: We try to look at Okay, um, I'm gonna look
- 3:13Speaker 1: at what this person is doing online, and then we
- 3:15Speaker 1: try to apply that to our own business. That can
- 3:18Speaker 1: be reckless sometimes because the vision that you have for
- 3:21Speaker 1: your business is for you. The vision that that person
- 3:25Speaker 1: online has is for them, and what happens is sometimes
- 3:29Speaker 1: you lose the clarity in your vision and purpose because
- 3:34Speaker 1: you're watching what somebody else is doing. And so what
- 3:39Speaker 1: we have to realize is that we need to hire people.
- 3:42Speaker 1: We need to go to events like a mobile con
- 3:45Speaker 1: that help us to concentrate on what we're doing and
- 3:49Speaker 1: what we're assigned to do specifically in our businesses, to
- 3:52Speaker 1: get those tools, those relationships and resources. And that's important
- 3:56Speaker 1: and reason I say that because when I look at
- 3:59Speaker 1: you first, all focused, you said, hey, Rishan, was almost
- 4:03Speaker 1: three decades here just not just I didn't just think
- 4:06Speaker 1: of this last night, absolutely okay, because it's not it's
- 4:10Speaker 1: not just a passion for you, this is a mission.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It is Passion doesn't pay the bill and the fashion
- 4:15Speaker 1: doesn't pay the bills. In Northern passion convince people to
- 4:18Speaker 1: consistently pay the bills. People jump overboard and um and
- 4:22Speaker 1: they want to be a part of But who you
- 4:25Speaker 1: have to read through those those those those bandwagon people. Yes,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and then you have a core people that consistently understand
- 4:31Speaker 1: this is what I'm doing and this is how I
- 4:32Speaker 1: want to work. Absolutely, So tell us about Mogo kan
- 4:36Speaker 1: So Mobile Khan. I've been doing conferences for the last
- 4:39Speaker 1: ten years to women, but in Atlanta, and I wanted
- 4:43Speaker 1: to do something specifically in the fourth quarter because people
- 4:47Speaker 1: get excited when it comes to the holidays, they lose
- 4:51Speaker 1: focus a little bit. The next thing they know, it's
- 4:53Speaker 1: the first of the year. It's January, right, and they're scrambling,
- 4:56Speaker 1: and by the time they get a real plan in place,
- 4:59Speaker 1: it's March. We've already lost three months in the year.
- 5:03Speaker 1: What Mogo Khan is designed designed to do is to
- 5:06Speaker 1: give you that plan now, so that you can get
- 5:09Speaker 1: your campaigns together, you can get your marketing together, and
- 5:12Speaker 1: really understand who your target audience is, because we talk
- 5:15Speaker 1: about that a lot. But what happens is when you
- 5:18Speaker 1: first start your business and then where you may be
- 5:20Speaker 1: three to five years later, maybe a totally different audience,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and that leton's stopped right there. And what disappoints me
- 5:26Speaker 1: is that people I don't want to change because sometimes
- 5:29Speaker 1: when your audience changed, there's traditional work and some people
- 5:32Speaker 1: don't see that that one part of the plan that's right,
- 5:35Speaker 1: and so that's key. One of the things that people
- 5:38Speaker 1: have always I want to say admired about me is
- 5:41Speaker 1: that I'm willing to change gears, and you know how
- 5:45Speaker 1: to reinvent yourself. You don't. You don't, that's important, I don't.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I don't. You show me a direction where money can
- 5:51Speaker 1: be made. I'm reinventing myself in that direction. And I
- 5:54Speaker 1: think that and I and I'm fearless. And so let's
- 5:57Speaker 1: talk about fearlessness and fear because you're great point. So
- 6:06Speaker 1: let's talk about it because especially I see this with women.
- 6:10Speaker 1: So I'll tell you the difference in what I see
- 6:11Speaker 1: with a man and what I see with the want.
- 6:14Speaker 1: If there's a job and a man looks at all
- 6:17Speaker 1: of the qualification, if he has thirty percent of those qualifications,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and he has the confidence to go after it, he's
- 6:23Speaker 1: gonna do it. But what a woman will do is
- 6:26Speaker 1: she'll look at it and she'll say, well, I only
- 6:28Speaker 1: have and she'll walk away. And that job may have
- 6:33Speaker 1: been perfect for her had she had the confidence to
- 6:36Speaker 1: go after. What I tell people is we always hear
- 6:41Speaker 1: that fear is false ever disappearing real, right, But fear
- 6:44Speaker 1: is also fuel because the fear is what wakes me
- 6:48Speaker 1: up every day to do what I do. Fear makes
- 6:51Speaker 1: me fearless because I know if I don't get up.
- 6:55Speaker 1: If I don't show up every day consistently, I'm not
- 6:58Speaker 1: gonna get paid right. I'm not gonna be able to
- 7:01Speaker 1: get that revenue, get that profit, increasing clients. I'm not
- 7:05Speaker 1: gonna be able to attract what I need to attract
- 7:08Speaker 1: for myself, my life, and my business if I don't
- 7:10Speaker 1: show up. And so what fear does for me is
- 7:13Speaker 1: I turned it into fuel and it makes me go
- 7:16Speaker 1: after those goals. And I think that's what we have
- 7:19Speaker 1: to look at. It's okay a little fear. You may
- 7:21Speaker 1: have a talk and you gotta get on stage. You
- 7:23Speaker 1: feel a little fear, you may have a business. Mean,
- 7:25Speaker 1: you feel a little fear. Use that for fuel to
- 7:28Speaker 1: really get you in there to get because your passion
- 7:30Speaker 1: can convince people, but your work is what keeps them right.
- 7:33Speaker 1: You know, it's really funny that you say that about
- 7:36Speaker 1: different There's a difference between men and women when it
- 7:38Speaker 1: comes to you know, as a as a guy that
- 7:42Speaker 1: has been I feel my ability to um. I want
- 7:46Speaker 1: to say b S, but I would say my ability
- 7:48Speaker 1: to be able to talk my way into an opportunity,
- 7:51Speaker 1: even though I know the resume doesn't match. I don't care.
- 7:55Speaker 1: And my wife's Chaire was gets mad at me because
- 7:58Speaker 1: in a good way, because she knows I don't you
- 8:01Speaker 1: know I do it? Why? Why why are we waiting
- 8:05Speaker 1: around here? Let's go, let's go. What you done? Hey, Hey,
- 8:08Speaker 1: let's go, let's go. And my let's go mentality. And
- 8:11Speaker 1: I've tried to instill that my daughter. You know that,
- 8:14Speaker 1: you know understand that there are no barriers. They could
- 8:18Speaker 1: be self imposed barriers, but there are no barriers. There
- 8:20Speaker 1: should be racial barriers, there should be no financial barriers,
- 8:24Speaker 1: that be no gender barriers. And we put these barriers
- 8:27Speaker 1: in front of us because of the fact that we
- 8:29Speaker 1: feel that there should be a limited It's somehow in
- 8:31Speaker 1: our minds we feel because because I was remember when
- 8:35Speaker 1: I when I go around successful people, you'll see their
- 8:38Speaker 1: kids show up, okay, their kids be on set or athletes.
- 8:41Speaker 1: They'll bring their kids to the baseball park, and it
- 8:44Speaker 1: guess what they're comfortable with being around these environments because
- 8:48Speaker 1: guess what they've been told is all right? When you
- 8:50Speaker 1: in minority communities, we've never been told anything. We've been
- 8:54Speaker 1: told what we cannot do, where we should not go,
- 8:56Speaker 1: what we cannot say, and who we should represent, who
- 9:00Speaker 1: represents our our belief should be successful, which is athletes
- 9:05Speaker 1: and entertainers. Okay, scholars, you can't even phantom that well,
- 9:10Speaker 1: that means that means four years of education, could be
- 9:12Speaker 1: a doctor, that's eight years, lawyers, eight years, athletes, Okay,
- 9:15Speaker 1: I can just graduated high school. I can slam dunk.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, you said so much, so much right there.
- 9:21Speaker 1: So imagine when you talk about in the minority community,
- 9:26Speaker 1: also talking about being a female in the minority community.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So now you've got that double whammy going on. And
- 9:34Speaker 1: then you couple that with fear. Right. So if every
- 9:37Speaker 1: day somebody is telling you what you can't be, and
- 9:39Speaker 1: I can remember growing up and I'll tell you I'm
- 9:41Speaker 1: a dad is girl. So my dad was an entrepreneur
- 9:44Speaker 1: and he would say, listen, if you show up and
- 9:49Speaker 1: if you do what you're supposed to do every day,
- 9:52Speaker 1: which is keep your word, keep your word, that's what's missing.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You gotta keep your word. You gotta do it with Hegarty. Race, yes,
- 10:02Speaker 1: can play a small factor, but people don't do business
- 10:06Speaker 1: with you because of race. They do it because of
- 10:10Speaker 1: the quality of work that you bring. And when you
- 10:13Speaker 1: bring quality that cannot be refuted. A racist person will
- 10:18Speaker 1: will eat at your restaurant if the food is good. Yes,
- 10:21Speaker 1: yes they will. But we see it all the time.
- 10:23Speaker 1: You know. The thing about it is that I know
- 10:25Speaker 1: it is this and I R and I know that
- 10:29Speaker 1: I know them African American male, I know, and I
- 10:32Speaker 1: know that there is a salaries that can be tamed different.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I know their opportunity. But I never allowed it to
- 10:38Speaker 1: stop me. I never I I would never give it power.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I would never give it power to say that I'm
- 10:46Speaker 1: not going to be who I can be because I'm
- 10:48Speaker 1: an African American. You know, I'm I came from the
- 10:52Speaker 1: inner city. Uh. I never wanted to empower that and
- 10:56Speaker 1: give it the tool to win over me. And so
- 10:59Speaker 1: so when you go to an event like Mogol Kolm,
- 11:02Speaker 1: I know we we've got another break and I don't
- 11:04Speaker 1: want to push you to that break. But just just
- 11:06Speaker 1: just what, just what just the experience and why did
- 11:09Speaker 1: you started? So the experience is this. We talked about
- 11:14Speaker 1: this being a time for women and right now it
- 11:16Speaker 1: is and especially women of color because we have grown
- 11:19Speaker 1: in the last five years six in entrepreneurship, in creating businesses.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Here's the thing you talked about the disparity in our community,
- 11:30Speaker 1: which means we haven't been exposed to having a business coach,
- 11:33Speaker 1: we haven't been exposed to having platforms like this, right.
- 11:37Speaker 1: So what mogil Kan does over the three days is
- 11:40Speaker 1: help you to understand what you don't know, because sometimes
- 11:43Speaker 1: you don't know what you don't know until you get
- 11:45Speaker 1: in it. And we bring together over forty experts in
- 11:49Speaker 1: different industries and they pour into you. They're gonna answer
- 11:53Speaker 1: your questions. We even provide one on one coaching on site.
- 11:57Speaker 1: So the experience is like no other because it's a
- 12:01Speaker 1: community of women who look like me. It's a community
- 12:05Speaker 1: of women that don't look like me that give to it. Right.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Because what you have to understand is when you have
- 12:11Speaker 1: a vision for something and you're truly wanting to help
- 12:15Speaker 1: your community, you've got to reach out to everybody. You
- 12:18Speaker 1: got to reach out to everybody. And that's what we do.
- 12:21Speaker 1: We reach out and we share our message people like
- 12:24Speaker 1: companies like Delta Airlines. Well's far ago, We'll be right.
- 12:28Speaker 1: We're back with more. Dr Felicia, Dr Felicia Phillips and
- 12:34Speaker 1: Mobile Colm founder. Um wow, I my wife is in town.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna trying to get it to coming to this event.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Um ru Sean McDonald back with more money making conversations. Ready,
- 12:46Speaker 1: h Sean McDonalds say, ready, you know I'm country today.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It's something. It's it's like a valve missing in my
- 12:52Speaker 1: brain to day. I'm a little bit off. Who guess
- 12:55Speaker 1: what I'm hanging in at a superstar pace again, money
- 12:57Speaker 1: making conversation. My guests seated next to me as a
- 13:00Speaker 1: master business strategist. She's over there trying to go live
- 13:03Speaker 1: on Facebook. I don't know how to operate it. You know,
- 13:06Speaker 1: she over there just clicking buttons and it would not
- 13:11Speaker 1: cooperate with me. But just trying to get just trying
- 13:15Speaker 1: to Facebook live so bad over here. Guess what I got.
- 13:20Speaker 1: She's a serial entrepreneur and not an operator of Facebook
- 13:23Speaker 1: line that we hired people to do that. Founder mogl Calm.
- 13:27Speaker 1: The annual conference attracts hundreds of women and it's the
- 13:30Speaker 1: premier business experience. Just the third year, right, this is
- 13:33Speaker 1: the third year of MGLOM. First of all, you know,
- 13:36Speaker 1: there's a guy I did the Neighborhood Awards for sixteen
- 13:39Speaker 1: straight years, you know, did Atlanta attracted a hundred fifty
- 13:42Speaker 1: thousand people, did in Vegas for like ten years, attracting
- 13:45Speaker 1: another seventy thousand annually would come to that. So I've
- 13:49Speaker 1: and it was three days. So I know when you
- 13:51Speaker 1: do something when one day is enough, it's trouble. Lord
- 13:55Speaker 1: of pain, it's paint, it's pain, it's pain. So tell
- 13:59Speaker 1: us about the first year and it's growth to the
- 14:01Speaker 1: third year and exactly. So one of the things in
- 14:07Speaker 1: the first year when I had the vision for this,
- 14:09Speaker 1: like I said, I've been doing um small events, some
- 14:12Speaker 1: large for women. This time I told you I wanted
- 14:15Speaker 1: to do it in the fourth quarter because I want
- 14:16Speaker 1: people to have a plan. I want them to have
- 14:18Speaker 1: time to get that marketing campaign. So in the first year,
- 14:21Speaker 1: we brought everybody in. We had a nice crowd, but
- 14:23Speaker 1: I could instantly see where we could do better. I'm
- 14:27Speaker 1: always about the experience. But the beautiful thing that happened
- 14:31Speaker 1: was that women were connecting. I saw business coming out
- 14:36Speaker 1: of those relationships, and they're still working together. That's a
- 14:41Speaker 1: testament because when you come to a conference for three days,
- 14:44Speaker 1: that's time. That's money that you can't get back, right,
- 14:48Speaker 1: So there has to be a return of investment on
- 14:51Speaker 1: your time. And so when I see them, form the friendships,
- 14:55Speaker 1: form the business relationships, get those resources and tools. That's help.
- 15:00Speaker 1: That told me in the first year we've got something, right, Okay, cool.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Let me just tell you a little bit of advice something.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Let's you're talking is that Okay, I've been doing this
- 15:09Speaker 1: a long time. Okay, So, so the fourth quarter is good,
- 15:12Speaker 1: the third quarter be better because of the fact that
- 15:16Speaker 1: you have to start pursuing sponsorship in the in the
- 15:19Speaker 1: latter half of the third quarter. We do it a
- 15:22Speaker 1: year and no, no no, no, I'm talking about you. I'm
- 15:24Speaker 1: talking about your attendees. Okay, I know what you do. Yeah,
- 15:28Speaker 1: I mean, so that fourth quarter I'm just I'm just saying,
- 15:30Speaker 1: is that if you did it like in the end
- 15:32Speaker 1: of September, then you have a whole concept of sponsorship
- 15:37Speaker 1: and then they arrived that that that makes sure, that
- 15:39Speaker 1: makes sure you're a bit relevant because now you're talking
- 15:41Speaker 1: about making money for your attendees. So to your point,
- 15:45Speaker 1: in the third year, now we're sold out. Good, Okay,
- 15:49Speaker 1: So we started you know, it's talking about relationships. That helps, right. Good.
- 15:57Speaker 1: So we we actually started promoting at the beginning of
- 16:00Speaker 1: the year for it, and the left is a funnyest city.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Unlike most people, won't register a lot of times until
- 16:07Speaker 1: thirty days, ten days, so you know that, right, So
- 16:11Speaker 1: we're walk up, but we're blessed. We're all ready sold out,
- 16:15Speaker 1: no vendor tables. The Galu sold out all three days.
- 16:19Speaker 1: And what we did differently this year is that in
- 16:22Speaker 1: the afternoon on the first day, we are having an
- 16:25Speaker 1: accelerator on that first day. So what we're doing is
- 16:28Speaker 1: separating our startups from our seasoned entrepreneurs, because what I've
- 16:33Speaker 1: learned is that as a startup, you're gonna have specific
- 16:37Speaker 1: things that you need to know from a foundational perspective,
- 16:40Speaker 1: whereas the season entrepreneur, maybe you've done well in the business,
- 16:44Speaker 1: you did everything you needed to do from a start
- 16:46Speaker 1: up perspective, you've made some money, you have some clients,
- 16:50Speaker 1: but the business may have plateaued, and so now you're
- 16:53Speaker 1: looking at what do I do next? What's next for me?
- 16:57Speaker 1: How do I bring in more clients, how do I
- 16:59Speaker 1: increase that revenue? What is going to help me do that?
- 17:03Speaker 1: So we split them into different groups and begin to
- 17:05Speaker 1: teach them what they need to do. And so this
- 17:08Speaker 1: is not so much about what you need and why
- 17:10Speaker 1: you need it. We're teaching you how to do it
- 17:14Speaker 1: because if you're gonna, like I said, you're gonna take
- 17:16Speaker 1: that time, there's got to be a return of investment there, right,
- 17:19Speaker 1: So we're gonna teach you how to do it. We're
- 17:21Speaker 1: gonna bring in experts from companies like Delta Airlines, Wells
- 17:25Speaker 1: far Ago. We're gonna have representation from the Greater Women's
- 17:28Speaker 1: Business Council. They're we're gonna be telling you how you
- 17:31Speaker 1: get certified so you can get those big contracts that
- 17:34Speaker 1: can change the whole trajectory of your business. But you
- 17:37Speaker 1: gotta be there to get the information. Be there. We're
- 17:41Speaker 1: at the Double Tree Atlanta Airport, which is at thirty
- 17:44Speaker 1: four hundred Northern Berry Drive. We're there, which is right
- 17:47Speaker 1: in the city. We have of our audience actually comes
- 17:50Speaker 1: from out of state. When we first starting the first year,
- 17:53Speaker 1: a lot of our audience was from Atlanta. But now
- 17:56Speaker 1: I've noticed that we've evolved. We get Atlanta, uh and
- 17:59Speaker 1: pretty much touch. Most of the city's from the southeast
- 18:02Speaker 1: come to Mogol Khan. So what I want people to
- 18:05Speaker 1: know is this, get ready because for three days, we're
- 18:09Speaker 1: gonna pour into you and we're gonna have some fun too.
- 18:13Speaker 1: We're gonna work hard from eight am to four pm.
- 18:15Speaker 1: We're gonna give you a little break. We're gonna come
- 18:17Speaker 1: back for Moguls after dark. We're gonna have some great entertainment.
- 18:21Speaker 1: We're gonna bring in some speakers like our former NBA
- 18:24Speaker 1: player Earl blankinsh he was in there for twelve years.
- 18:27Speaker 1: He's gonna come and really share his story about how
- 18:31Speaker 1: even at five seven he was able to do some
- 18:34Speaker 1: amazing things, played for some great teams. We're gonna bring
- 18:37Speaker 1: in Lucinda Cross from Queen Boss BT. She's gonna talk
- 18:40Speaker 1: about the big ask twenty one ways to get what
- 18:44Speaker 1: you want right. So we have a lot of great things.
- 18:47Speaker 1: We don't even let him have some fun. We gotta
- 18:49Speaker 1: do a little celebrity karaoke for have some celebrity judges.
- 18:52Speaker 1: And then at the end, we honor women in our
- 18:55Speaker 1: community who are giving that hand out and saying, let
- 18:59Speaker 1: me help you, let me make some calls for you,
- 19:02Speaker 1: let me open a door, because this is an area
- 19:04Speaker 1: where women really struggle our resources and relationships. What I
- 19:09Speaker 1: like about the family that we have at Mogul Khan
- 19:14Speaker 1: is they believe in relationships they're making those introductions, making
- 19:19Speaker 1: the phone calls. And so this year we're honoring Nikki Gilbert.
- 19:24Speaker 1: We're honoring UM Jackie McKinley, who is first African American
- 19:28Speaker 1: woman over global sales for dal US Southeast. We're honoring
- 19:34Speaker 1: um Minyon friends Sis from the Cupcake Collection. I don't
- 19:37Speaker 1: know if you know her story. She was about to
- 19:39Speaker 1: get her lights cut off the people came about cupcakes,
- 19:43Speaker 1: and now she is running a ten million dollar empire.
- 19:49Speaker 1: So what I think people get to see is themselves
- 19:52Speaker 1: and the women who are doing these great things, who
- 19:55Speaker 1: are seven eight nine figure businesses, right, they're able to
- 19:58Speaker 1: see themselves and listen, if she can do it, I
- 20:02Speaker 1: can do it too. Now you say that with passion,
- 20:08Speaker 1: well dressed. How did it start for you? Great question?
- 20:13Speaker 1: So remember I told you I was a daddy's girl.
- 20:15Speaker 1: So my father had his own business, but so did
- 20:18Speaker 1: my uncle's and I basically lived under them. And I
- 20:22Speaker 1: tell you something that I later realized. They would come
- 20:25Speaker 1: together every other week or so and they would talk
- 20:28Speaker 1: about what was happening in their businesses. And I remember
- 20:33Speaker 1: one particular conversation where my father was complaining about he
- 20:36Speaker 1: was in construction so somebody didn't pay him whatever. And
- 20:40Speaker 1: my uncle's would come in and they would talk about, okay, clear,
- 20:44Speaker 1: now you're gonna have to put a lean on this
- 20:45Speaker 1: in a man's house or this woman's house. You got.
- 20:48Speaker 1: But what they had was a mastermind, right, And because
- 20:52Speaker 1: I never saw anybody going to a nine to five
- 20:55Speaker 1: when I was growing up. Even my great grandmother, she
- 20:58Speaker 1: owned real estate, she owned a you the salon, you know,
- 21:01Speaker 1: she had all types of mindset was in place. It
- 21:03Speaker 1: was in place. I knew it eight years old. I
- 21:05Speaker 1: was going to own my own business, right, didn't know
- 21:08Speaker 1: what it was going to be. And I was actually
- 21:10Speaker 1: forced into it at nineteen because I was going to
- 21:13Speaker 1: Georgia State full time and I said, this just can't
- 21:16Speaker 1: be it. I know it's something better for me. And
- 21:20Speaker 1: I started a business and by the time I was twenty,
- 21:22Speaker 1: I was at six figures. But I say that to
- 21:24Speaker 1: say this, Sometimes circumstances will push you to the opportunity
- 21:31Speaker 1: that is a waiting for you. But if you don't
- 21:33Speaker 1: rise to the occasion, that opportunity is gonna pass you by.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Nothing's passing you by, nothing's passing me by. You know
- 21:40Speaker 1: me already, Well, I know you from a standpoint, and
- 21:43Speaker 1: that's why I was talking about earlier about it. You know,
- 21:45Speaker 1: a professional athlete would bring their children, and I remember
- 21:49Speaker 1: directors on major set to bring their children. When you
- 21:52Speaker 1: see something that becomes normal. So you you were grew
- 21:55Speaker 1: up in a lifestyle that this was normal nine to
- 21:59Speaker 1: five wasn't didn't see it where my goal coming out
- 22:03Speaker 1: of high school, I just want to get up college degree,
- 22:06Speaker 1: go work for i BM and just get married, you know.
- 22:08Speaker 1: But then all of a sudden, I realized that's not me.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Yes to you to learn a long time ago and
- 22:13Speaker 1: eight and that's that's not what you're reinforcing to everybody
- 22:17Speaker 1: that comes to Mobile Car. Absolutely absolutely every woman that
- 22:22Speaker 1: enters that door, there's an experience, there's an opportunity, there's
- 22:26Speaker 1: a chance at something better to simply change the trajectory
- 22:30Speaker 1: of where they are right now. And that happens because
- 22:33Speaker 1: that made they made a decision. See, everything that is
- 22:36Speaker 1: related to you is a decision. What you wear, what
- 22:40Speaker 1: you think about, what you do, it's all based on
- 22:42Speaker 1: a decision. When you make the decision that listen, I'm
- 22:46Speaker 1: tired of where I am. I've got to do something.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I've got to do something that is going to take
- 22:52Speaker 1: me to that next point. And the next point is
- 22:54Speaker 1: what the next point is mobile carrack chick chick quack. Well,
- 23:03Speaker 1: telling everybody is happening this week. It is happening so
- 23:07Speaker 1: that we are sold. Evef I post something on social media,
- 23:12Speaker 1: just gonna get people made, we'll put away list. How
- 23:16Speaker 1: about that, let's talk about let's talk about it. We're
- 23:21Speaker 1: gonna be right back here in Atlanta, but we're also
- 23:24Speaker 1: looking at two other locations. We're looking at l A
- 23:28Speaker 1: and we're also looking at the Baltimore, DC, Maryland. They're
- 23:32Speaker 1: waiting on your in DC. They wait, I got some
- 23:35Speaker 1: people me and you were good. Give me a knuckle
- 23:38Speaker 1: that knuckles saying when you we could, here's the deal,
- 23:41Speaker 1: you know, thank you for coming in, thank you for
- 23:43Speaker 1: having me. I don't know, she's so loud because I
- 23:46Speaker 1: can't do anything for you know. I'm gonna see if
- 23:48Speaker 1: I can call my wife when I hang up to
- 23:50Speaker 1: focus see if she happened. She always I'm planning in
- 23:52Speaker 1: her life anyway. But you should have asked before you
- 23:55Speaker 1: even brought my radio shout. But this is something I
- 23:59Speaker 1: feel that every woman, every and you are you are
- 24:03Speaker 1: the bomb in a very good way. Hey you too
