  It's the 4th of July and there will be fireworks and there will be fires and there will be

  gunshots I suppose, hopefully not too many, and people will be hanging around drinking

  beer and stuff.

  And basically what people are doing is celebrating being free and some of the things that people
• 0:18
  do with their freedom is not freeing but rather addicting or trapping or creating struggles
• 0:25
  for themselves and for others.
• 0:27
  But freedom, real freedom is found in the truth.

  The Bible says, Jesus speaking, ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

  Elsewhere in John 14, 6 Jesus said, I am the way and the truth and the life.

  Knowing Jesus, knowing more of Jesus, having Jesus be more in charge of their life, that
• 0:47
  is the true source of freedom.

  Being able to call God, Father, and He is your Father, that's true freedom.

  Being able to be called a child of God, that's freedom.

  The truth is, once you're truly free in Christ, you can do anything you want but what you
• 1:05
  want will be adjusted to be things that honor God.

  Someone may ask me, you know, because I'm in sin in this way, will I go to hell?
• 1:15
  Because I'm sinning in this way, will I go to hell?
• 1:16
  And the answer will be no, that's not why people go to hell.

  Sin separates, it's true, and brings death, that's true too, but people go to hell because
• 1:25
  they rejected Jesus Christ who is the truth.
• 1:28
  And if you reject the truth, you'll never be free.

  Jesus loves you, died for you, and wants to forgive sins and lead you into eternity with
• 1:37
  God.
• 1:39
  And I hope you're willing.

  Let the truth set you free.
